- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you, thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Ryan Air on Air On Air with a Ryan Seacrest, one.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Of two point seven Kiss FM. All right, Systney, TikTok
- 0:13Speaker 1: wants you to meditate. Now, this is something a lot
- 0:15Speaker 1: of people are hearing about.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Yeah, they're introducing this new feature called meditation and Sleep
- 0:19Speaker 3: hours aim to help teens manage their screen time and
- 0:23Speaker 3: get better sleep.
- 0:24Speaker 4: So, if you're under the age.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Of eighteen and using TikTok after ten pm, the Apple
- 0:29Speaker 3: automatically pause your scrolling.
- 0:33Speaker 1: And there's not going to help people just figure outw
- 0:35Speaker 1: to bypass.
- 0:36Speaker 4: The well they want you.
- 0:37Speaker 3: They're going to want to lead you through a guided
- 0:39Speaker 3: meditation to help you wind down. If you keep on
- 0:42Speaker 3: scrolling after the meditation, it'll give you another gentle nudge
- 0:46Speaker 3: to take a break.
- 0:47Speaker 4: I mean, I guess that's probably the extent of it.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I still bypass right.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Yes, you can buypass it whatever, but at least maybe
- 0:52Speaker 3: like it does, like it jolts their system. They're scrolling, scrolling,
- 0:55Speaker 3: throwing ten pm hits and it's like, all right, time
- 0:57Speaker 3: to meditate, and.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Maybe they do it, maybe they don't.
- 0:59Speaker 3: But saying that this will hopefully help with teens' mental
- 1:02Speaker 3: health and all this, this.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Is, this is the impetus to this is all of
- 1:08Speaker 1: the I'm guessing are all the mental health issues kids
- 1:11Speaker 1: are having everything they're being sued too by.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Yes, in our state, TikTok is facing serious legal challenges.
- 1:16Speaker 3: A bunch of states, including California, are suing TikTok, saying
- 1:20Speaker 3: the app's been messing with kids' mental health and collecting
- 1:23Speaker 3: their info.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Also without asking.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Even the Justice Department and the FTC are jumping in
- 1:28Speaker 3: claiming TikTok's been breaking privacy rules and making the app
- 1:32Speaker 3: just way too addictive to teens specifically.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Well, they're addicted to all of us, but it's troubling
- 1:39Speaker 1: for early you know, when you're starting off in life exactly.
- 1:42Speaker 1: But didn't we watch the news or a documentary where
- 1:45Speaker 1: I'm not saying TikTok specifically, but like the early creators
- 1:49Speaker 1: of all of this stuff knew how addictive it was
- 1:51Speaker 1: that they didn't let their own kids.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Use the yapsure right, Yes, they were all interviewed and
- 1:56Speaker 3: it's like would you got your kids on it?
- 1:57Speaker 1: And the line no, no, it's bad for them. But
- 2:00Speaker 1: they created the app on the social dilemma. That was
- 2:04Speaker 1: the social that was the doc we watch. It's kiss
- 2:07Speaker 1: FM about to do a Ryan's Roses. Also, there's something
- 2:10Speaker 1: that's dividing people on the internet this morning. It's the
- 2:13Speaker 1: ex husband's ring. So tell me where you stand on this,
- 2:16Speaker 1: Sysney and Tanya. There's a thirty year old groom. Okay,
- 2:20Speaker 1: groom is thirty years old. He posted this on Ready.
- 2:23Speaker 1: He says he's got an issue with his fiance over
- 2:26Speaker 1: one detail of her wedding day outfit. She wants to
- 2:29Speaker 1: wear her deceased husband's wedding ring on a chain around
- 2:33Speaker 1: her neck and he doesn't love that anymok, what do
- 2:40Speaker 1: you think any more? Context? Yes, all right. So the
- 2:44Speaker 1: bride's name is Emily and she married this guy very
- 2:46Speaker 1: young and of courtuate. He died in a tragic accident.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Years later, she met her now fiance who's helped her
- 2:53Speaker 1: through her grief and get through anniversaries and things like that.
- 2:57Speaker 1: And Emily says she wouldn't be where she is now
- 3:00Speaker 1: now having gone through that loss, So carrying the ring
- 3:03Speaker 1: is part of who she is. But the fiance they
- 3:06Speaker 1: helped to get through all of that, doesn't love it.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Like where do you stand on him?
- 3:09Speaker 4: I think he's wrong.
- 3:10Speaker 3: If he's already been there helping her throughout the grief
- 3:14Speaker 3: and all that.
- 3:15Speaker 4: What is it to him if he wants she wants
- 3:17Speaker 4: to celebrate.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I feel bad on both sides of this because I
- 3:20Speaker 1: feel bad. I'd always feel bad.
- 3:23Speaker 5: But maybe she can remember him in some other way,
- 3:25Speaker 5: because I just feel like a ring on a wedding
- 3:27Speaker 5: day should be your husband, the ring that you get
- 3:30Speaker 5: from your husband, not like.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Rings of But she didn't divorce this guy, I know,
- 3:35Speaker 3: but like he died, and if he wouldn't have died,
- 3:38Speaker 3: she wouldn't be marrying this new guy.
- 3:40Speaker 1: I think this is a very touchy one.
- 3:41Speaker 2: But why.
- 3:44Speaker 5: The ring?
- 3:45Speaker 1: What would let a candle or something?
- 3:47Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 3:47Speaker 6: Like maybe?
- 3:48Speaker 5: Or are you gonna have a chair set up like
- 3:49Speaker 5: I've seen people do, like people who have been so.
- 3:53Speaker 6: Like you put a chair in the memory of the city.
- 3:56Speaker 4: That's good for like grandma and grandpa or whatever.
- 3:58Speaker 1: You don't put a chair of your axe there.
- 4:00Speaker 6: Whatever, it's better than a ring on your wedding dage.
- 4:02Speaker 1: No, a chair stranger for me? If I almost looking
- 4:04Speaker 1: at the chair, yes, never what if somebody comes over
- 4:08Speaker 1: and they sit on your chair.
- 4:08Speaker 3: I think the ring is just it's more hidden, Like
- 4:11Speaker 3: some guests might not even know that she's.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Wearing round your wedding on your wedding dress. It's going
- 4:16Speaker 4: to be tucked into her dress. Who knows.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I don't think I can take a stand on this one,
- 4:21Speaker 1: because either way, I feel bad. Sometimes there is no
- 4:24Speaker 1: end to a story because FM okay, Ruby, So tell
- 4:28Speaker 1: us what's the drama at home?
- 4:29Speaker 7: So you know, me and David just recently moved in together,
- 4:33Speaker 7: well actually I guess it's been over a year now,
- 4:36Speaker 7: but we got our own place together. And so before that,
- 4:39Speaker 7: I never had a TV in my bedroom. I just
- 4:42Speaker 7: I don't know why. I just never wanted one. I
- 4:44Speaker 7: never cared for one. And then when we moved in together,
- 4:48Speaker 7: we initially didn't have a TV or any kind of
- 4:51Speaker 7: like projector. And then we just decided maybe we should
- 4:55Speaker 7: get a projector so we can still have like our walls.
- 4:58Speaker 7: You know, you could still put art up, you could
- 5:00Speaker 7: still have like blank walls, but you don't have you know,
- 5:05Speaker 7: you still have entertainment.
- 5:06Speaker 1: But you put an image up there when there's nothing there, right.
- 5:09Speaker 7: Yes, And so we decided to get a projector.
- 5:13Speaker 2: But now I feel like it just kind of not
- 5:16Speaker 2: kills the vibe.
- 5:17Speaker 7: But when you go to sleep, it's the first thing
- 5:20Speaker 7: you uh talk about, right, You're like, what should we watch?
- 5:23Speaker 7: Versus actually like just talking to each other And I
- 5:31Speaker 7: don't need anversation.
- 5:34Speaker 1: I should do that, I do.
- 5:35Speaker 3: I don't ever talk in the bedroom.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Does this does the projector make a fan sound?
- 5:44Speaker 8: Like?
- 5:45Speaker 1: Is there a sound to the projector? Also, no, it's not.
- 5:48Speaker 2: It's not that loud. It's not loud, but I've heard
- 5:49Speaker 2: loud ones that sound very annoying.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Yeah, that bothers me. I can't get past it.
- 5:54Speaker 3: It's like a projector from like when we were in school's.
- 5:58Speaker 6: Come a long way.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Really, So you're saying that because you have the projector,
- 6:03Speaker 1: it's all the anticipation about the priority of watching something.
- 6:06Speaker 7: Yes, versus like, oh, let's just talk about our day.
- 6:09Speaker 7: And again I don't need I don't need like an
- 6:11Speaker 7: hour chat. But I feel like before we would lay
- 6:14Speaker 7: in bed and you just kind of sit there and
- 6:16Speaker 7: you talk a little bit more, and now the focus
- 6:18Speaker 7: is on what should we watch versus that.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Will you'll think that'll burn off, like that'll go way
- 6:24Speaker 1: after the projector has been there for a while.
- 6:27Speaker 2: No, it never did before.
- 6:28Speaker 4: Don't you do that?
- 6:29Speaker 3: Okay, so if you didn't have the projector I'm a TV,
- 6:31Speaker 3: wouldn't you do this in the living room in front
- 6:34Speaker 3: of the TV and then you go to bed when
- 6:36Speaker 3: you go to bed?
- 6:38Speaker 9: No, I don't know.
- 6:39Speaker 1: I don't think so, I just se does he want
- 6:42Speaker 1: to talk? I feel like he's probably thrilled with this
- 6:46Speaker 1: projector I know.
- 6:47Speaker 2: I think he doesn't think of it in the same
- 6:49Speaker 2: way that I do.
- 6:52Speaker 1: I'm just started to think about this whole concept. Like
- 6:54Speaker 1: when you do lay down to go to sleep, to
- 6:56Speaker 1: go to bed, I find that the time not to
- 6:58Speaker 1: bring stuff up, because then you can't fall asleep. I like,
- 7:01Speaker 1: if you know, if I'm in a relationship, I like
- 7:03Speaker 1: for us to lay there and look up at the
- 7:04Speaker 1: ceiling and do some breathing. We breathe, breathe, breathe. It's
- 7:10Speaker 1: like decompressed to sort of turn your brain off and
- 7:12Speaker 1: then to fall asleep. Yeah, I have to announce, Okay,
- 7:16Speaker 1: I'm flipping, and then I'm going. Then I'm not out.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I have flounce.
- 7:21Speaker 7: I read an article too that said that that is
- 7:23Speaker 7: like a relationship killer, is being on your phones or
- 7:25Speaker 7: watching TV.
- 7:26Speaker 6: Before that's all we do.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Oh I did see that as well. They actually say
- 7:30Speaker 1: the most annoying thing partners do right before bed that's
- 7:33Speaker 1: ruining relationships is using your phone. I read that book. Yeah, bedtime, So.
- 7:37Speaker 7: I think that's why I'm in my head now because
- 7:39Speaker 7: I'm like, oh my god, we do this.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, you just got married a day ago.
- 7:45Speaker 1: You're gonna get through it.
- 7:46Speaker 4: We watch TV.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Sysney, She's worked through everything. Yeah, I'm the expert on
- 7:51Speaker 1: a two point seven kiss FM. All every trying to
- 7:54Speaker 1: save money to the grocery store. So experts say, if
- 7:56Speaker 1: you bring this, you'll spend less. And that is not
- 7:58Speaker 1: a water bottle, ased, Tanya, guess it is a sweater.
- 8:01Speaker 4: Sweater?
- 8:02Speaker 10: Oh yes, smart supermarkets they keep it chilly because cold
- 8:08Speaker 10: choppers choose products emotionally to cope with the cold, and
- 8:11Speaker 10: they spend more.
- 8:12Speaker 1: So I thought it was for the food.
- 8:14Speaker 4: It has to be for the food.
- 8:16Speaker 1: No, researchers found out that supermarkets they do it to
- 8:19Speaker 1: keep you cold so you make emotional decisions when buying.
- 8:22Speaker 5: I always thought they keep you cold so that you
- 8:24Speaker 5: want to get out of there faster, so you're like
- 8:26Speaker 5: moving quicker.
- 8:27Speaker 1: But they don't want you to get out of there faster.
- 8:28Speaker 1: They want you to stay in linguage, just like bye
- 8:30Speaker 1: bye bye bye bye.
- 8:31Speaker 6: Go go go go.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Emotionally, that's what the research says. So pack a sweater
- 8:35Speaker 1: to the store. Today's quote. We do these every morning.
- 8:38Speaker 1: You cannot see your reflection in boiling water. Similarly, you
- 8:42Speaker 1: cannot see the truth in a state of anger when
- 8:45Speaker 1: the water's calm clarity comes. Just way to beat. Take
- 8:49Speaker 1: a breath, don't react. It's good, it's true. You're on
- 8:54Speaker 1: kiss stem headlines with Tanya rad Well.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Nick rein Or, the son of director Rob and his
- 9:00Speaker 5: wife Michelle Singer. Reiner, has been charged with two counts
- 9:03Speaker 5: of first degree murder and the death of his parents.
- 9:06Speaker 5: Residents of Cerritos are upset by the city's plan to
- 9:09Speaker 5: raise water and sewer fees by over seventy five percent,
- 9:13Speaker 5: and Amazon driver was caught on camera stealing a family's
- 9:16Speaker 5: cat in Lakewood, and six Flags Magic Mountain has announced
- 9:20Speaker 5: a Looney Tunes land is coming to the park in
- 9:22Speaker 5: twenty twenty six.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Kiss FM, LA's number one hit music station. Let me
- 9:29Speaker 1: grab Evan on the line. Evan, good morning, how are you?
- 9:34Speaker 11: Good morning?
- 9:35Speaker 12: I'm well, how are you.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I'm great, So you don't want your sister's fiance to
- 9:40Speaker 1: be a groomsman? Tell me about that.
- 9:43Speaker 12: It's not me, it's so my fiance and we're getting
- 9:46Speaker 12: married next year and we're currently planning the wedding, which
- 9:51Speaker 12: is fun.
- 9:52Speaker 8: But she told me that she doesn't want me to
- 9:56Speaker 8: ask my sister's fiance to be my group mean, and
- 10:01Speaker 8: that kind of puts me in a weird position.
- 10:05Speaker 12: And the backstories. My sister had already told me that
- 10:08Speaker 12: her fiance will be asking me to be a groomsman
- 10:11Speaker 12: in their wedding, and my sister will be a bridesmaid
- 10:15Speaker 12: in my wedding, So I feel like it's like rude
- 10:18Speaker 12: not to, you know, include him, so kind of trying
- 10:24Speaker 12: to figure out what other people think.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Well, I know, I so you don't want to include
- 10:34Speaker 1: her fiance the guy in your groomsman party? Is that right?
- 10:40Speaker 11: My fiance told me she, uh, she doesn't want me
- 10:43Speaker 11: to ask my sister's fiance to be my groomsmen.
- 10:47Speaker 8: Because basically she think it's because.
- 10:50Speaker 12: We're not that close with my sister's fiance, which is
- 10:54Speaker 12: kind of true. I don't hang out with him, but
- 10:55Speaker 12: my sister.
- 10:58Speaker 8: I'm fine with it.
- 10:59Speaker 11: I'm cool.
- 10:59Speaker 1: I don't want what's the problem, what's about you? If
- 11:01Speaker 1: you don't care? She doesn't want it, don't ask him.
- 11:04Speaker 11: It's my fiance, she's saying, don't ask him, because.
- 11:08Speaker 6: Does she don't want your sister to be her bridesmaid.
- 11:13Speaker 12: She's She's basically saying, it's like they're not married yet
- 11:16Speaker 12: and they'll be in all the photos. It's kind of like,
- 11:19Speaker 12: really petty if you.
- 11:20Speaker 4: Ask me, like she doesn't think they're going to go
- 11:22Speaker 4: to the distance.
- 11:23Speaker 11: It' it's it's my fiance. She's like, she doesn't want
- 11:27Speaker 11: me to ask him to be the groomsman.
- 11:30Speaker 1: But if it's your fiance, then listen to your fiance.
- 11:33Speaker 6: Don't ask But it's his groomsmen, but he doesn't really care.
- 11:39Speaker 12: Sounds like yeah, but they're asking they're asking me to
- 11:41Speaker 12: be the I'm going to be the groomsmen.
- 11:42Speaker 1: At their wedding. Q.
- 11:48Speaker 3: That is going to cause a big stir. I think
- 11:53Speaker 3: you need to convince your fiance that this is the
- 11:55Speaker 3: right thing to do and just make him a groomsman
- 11:56Speaker 3: and move on.
- 11:57Speaker 1: But why, guys, do you can ask for for your
- 12:00Speaker 1: wedding that you don't necessarily really want, like, do what
- 12:02Speaker 1: you want to do.
- 12:03Speaker 4: I agree, Well, he wants to do it, but it's
- 12:05Speaker 4: FIANCEA doesn't want to do it.
- 12:06Speaker 6: So he wants to do it because he's going to
- 12:07Speaker 6: ask him to be a groomsman. But that doesn't matter.
- 12:11Speaker 4: It does to Evan.
- 12:13Speaker 11: And my sister.
- 12:15Speaker 12: My sister is going to be a bride's maid in
- 12:16Speaker 12: my wedding, so it'd be kind of weird not to
- 12:18Speaker 12: include him, right.
- 12:20Speaker 4: I think it would be personally just include him?
- 12:24Speaker 1: Did you guys, do you ten years out of my lane?
- 12:29Speaker 1: I don't like it weddings get conscious, like they're two complicated.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I don't like it when it gets to be I'm
- 12:35Speaker 1: doing something because of someone else. It should be the
- 12:37Speaker 1: celebration of the people who are getting married, without overthinking
- 12:42Speaker 1: and without I'm trying to please everybody else. That's why
- 12:45Speaker 1: I know it's not possible in most situations not but
- 12:49Speaker 1: then you got to figure something else out, because if
- 12:52Speaker 1: you're having a wedding to please other people for certain
- 12:55Speaker 1: reasons and quit pro quoting, we lose the spirit of
- 12:59Speaker 1: the web.
- 12:59Speaker 4: It's not that give a deal to have him as
- 13:00Speaker 4: a groomsman. Who cares? I care why because he.
- 13:06Speaker 6: Should do what he wants to do.
- 13:07Speaker 4: He wants to have him as the groomsman.
- 13:09Speaker 13: I don't think.
- 13:11Speaker 11: I don't think you do.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Deep down, I would listen to fiance. Let's not create
- 13:15Speaker 1: problems in the ocean.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Beance is creating the problems.
- 13:19Speaker 3: His fiance is going to create the problem if he
- 13:21Speaker 3: does not have him as a groomsman.
- 13:23Speaker 1: That's going to cause a whole bixter. Maybe it's because
- 13:26Speaker 1: I've only been to one wedding. I don't understand any
- 13:28Speaker 1: of this.
- 13:32Speaker 9: I mean, uh, yeah.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Any any guidance here? Do they give you any guidance?
- 13:39Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 13:40Speaker 12: I mean I should try to talk her into I
- 13:43Speaker 12: think I need.
- 13:44Speaker 1: To be more.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I cook her like a nice dinner and like
- 13:47Speaker 3: whine and dine her.
- 13:48Speaker 4: And then just tell her what's going to happen.
- 13:50Speaker 1: All right, Well, good luck with this, Thank you. Why
- 13:53Speaker 1: do I not understand what's happening?
- 13:55Speaker 4: You did not understand what's happening, So it was coated.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Between there's a fiance, a sister in two weddings happening.
- 14:02Speaker 3: You have to do it in terms where like it's us.
- 14:04Speaker 3: So like if Tanya and Tubs are.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Getting married, I can't do that anymore.
- 14:08Speaker 4: And I'm Tub's sister, but Mark is my fiance.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I can't play this game.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Tanya doesn't want Mark to be in the wedding because
- 14:16Speaker 3: she doesn't think deep down that me and Mark are
- 14:17Speaker 3: going to actually get married or we're pregnant to divorce
- 14:19Speaker 3: one day or who knows.
- 14:21Speaker 4: So she's telling Tubbs.
- 14:22Speaker 3: So she's telling Tubbs, don't put Mark as one of
- 14:24Speaker 3: your groomsmen, because I don't even want him in all
- 14:26Speaker 3: the pictures. So the fiance is the one that's causing
- 14:30Speaker 3: all the problems already.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Maybe he needs to break up.
- 14:34Speaker 5: It's fine, no, but like, honestly, it's like she's not
- 14:39Speaker 5: wrong because an ex boyfriend of mine was in all
- 14:42Speaker 5: my sister's wedding photos and I'm so pissed about it.
- 14:45Speaker 4: Your your ex is it groomsman?
- 14:51Speaker 5: No?
- 14:52Speaker 4: How is he all the picture?
- 14:53Speaker 5: Because there's in all the family photos we took, like
- 14:55Speaker 5: family photos.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, well I was in a picture of your
- 14:59Speaker 1: wedding crying next to your groom Yeah. Made People magazine
- 15:03Speaker 1: and now people asking me about why it was so
- 15:05Speaker 1: emotional on your.
- 15:06Speaker 6: Wedding on your own I.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Did, yeah, you did? You lies? Kiss Let me get Jessica,
- 15:17Speaker 1: and this is interesting Jessica and Woodland Hills. So the question, Jessica,
- 15:20Speaker 1: as I understand it, is, is it a problem that
- 15:23Speaker 1: your boyfriend's ex girlfriend still has connection or access to
- 15:30Speaker 1: his Netflix?
- 15:32Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 15:33Speaker 9: Yeah, that's the question. Like, you know, we've been dating
- 15:35Speaker 9: for a year, and like a year that little yeah, you're.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Still a bubble, a little circle with her name.
- 15:43Speaker 9: Yeah, like with her name and like the little picture
- 15:45Speaker 9: and it's not just Netflix, is also his HBO maximum.
- 15:48Speaker 8: No.
- 15:51Speaker 3: I thought she just had access to the past where
- 15:53Speaker 3: she's account and you have to see her icon and
- 15:57Speaker 3: her character in the name.
- 15:59Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 15:59Speaker 9: And if I wanted to like see what she's watching,
- 16:01Speaker 9: I can do that too, you know.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Okay, that is not do you ever do that?
- 16:08Speaker 3: I like sabotaged like a bunch of baby Shark videos,
- 16:13Speaker 3: so I would.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I think having the bubbles too much. I mean,
- 16:15Speaker 1: look the access with the password. I still think people
- 16:19Speaker 1: I know use mine because I'm like I didn't want's that. Uh,
- 16:22Speaker 1: but the password thing is a little more complicated. I
- 16:24Speaker 1: guess you gotta change it, which is it's not.
- 16:26Speaker 6: That complicated all the passwords, just change it.
- 16:29Speaker 4: It's been a year year, I don't like the bubble.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I don't like the bubble. I think it's a problem.
- 16:35Speaker 1: What does your boyfriend say about it?
- 16:38Speaker 9: Like he says it's fine. You know, she can't afford it.
- 16:40Speaker 9: He doesn't mind sharing it, and like, you know, to me,
- 16:42Speaker 9: it's like a sign he can't let her go. Yeah, okay, cool.
- 16:47Speaker 9: So I'm like not overreacting, but like if I'm.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Not, I don't like it. Get into the air of
- 16:52Speaker 1: the bubble. You just kick the bubble out yourself. Do
- 16:55Speaker 1: you have a bubble?
- 16:57Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 16:57Speaker 9: I do. So it's weird. So it's like his ount
- 17:00Speaker 9: her account because it's older than my account. You know,
- 17:03Speaker 9: I'm third on the tear.
- 17:04Speaker 4: Oh no, this has gotta stop.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Yeah, you need delete the bubble. He needs to understanding.
- 17:11Speaker 4: Give me the password. I'll do it for you.
- 17:13Speaker 1: See you very upset about it, all right, thank you, Jess. No,
- 17:17Speaker 1: no bubble.
- 17:18Speaker 6: Yeah, I'd be pissed too.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Hey, I have just show you, guys, show me how
- 17:22Speaker 1: to get rid of the close captioning. I can never
- 17:23Speaker 1: figure that out.
- 17:24Speaker 4: You want to get rid of it? Why?
- 17:25Speaker 5: Oh?
- 17:25Speaker 1: I don't need it on all the shows cause I
- 17:27Speaker 1: found myself reading the bottom of the screen.
- 17:28Speaker 4: Oh I love caption.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Sometimes it comes up before what they say, and I
- 17:34Speaker 3: was like, I already know what they're gonna say.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I'm exciting. It's because Genesis Genesis in Hawthorne.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Good morning, Good morning? Hi, how are you in Hawthorne?
- 17:47Speaker 15: I'm good. How are you?
- 17:48Speaker 1: I'm great? Thank you? So how can we help you?
- 17:51Speaker 1: You're not sure if you should end things with a
- 17:53Speaker 1: guy you've been dating. This is our specialty. Welcome to
- 17:56Speaker 1: our wheelhouse. What's up? What's the story?
- 17:58Speaker 15: Okay? Basically is that I've been casually dating this guy
- 18:03Speaker 15: for a few weeks.
- 18:05Speaker 1: But when you're seeing other guys at the same time,
- 18:07Speaker 1: I want to know what's that? What that means means
- 18:10Speaker 1: to me?
- 18:10Speaker 15: It means that we're not like calling each other boyfriend
- 18:13Speaker 15: and girlfriend, but we're I'm not going out with anyone
- 18:16Speaker 15: else and I don't think he is either.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Okay, fine, what's the issue?
- 18:21Speaker 15: The issue is that he has kids, and I've always
- 18:25Speaker 15: kind of been on the fence about this, and I
- 18:27Speaker 15: just realized, I'm I'm too young for baby mama drama
- 18:30Speaker 15: in my life. I don't really.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Your age.
- 18:36Speaker 15: I have twenty seven.
- 18:38Speaker 6: Oh she's twenty seven, Okay, uh.
- 18:41Speaker 1: And and is it because you want kids of your
- 18:44Speaker 1: own and not with someone else.
- 18:47Speaker 15: Well, honestly, it's because he has spoken about his baby
- 18:50Speaker 15: mama before. I've heard she's a little bit crazy. I
- 18:54Speaker 15: don't love to use that word, but I just am
- 18:58Speaker 15: a little bit worried about getting too involved in their situation.
- 19:00Speaker 3: If you're already having those feelings and you can't look
- 19:03Speaker 3: past them, then I think that's your sign.
- 19:05Speaker 1: All right, you are living a version of this, and
- 19:10Speaker 1: potentially it wasn't twenty seven.
- 19:11Speaker 4: That's a big difference.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Yeah, you look twenty seven to me. Go ahead, thank you.
- 19:18Speaker 1: You've inherited kids in a way.
- 19:20Speaker 5: Yeah, of course, I have step kids. I think that
- 19:24Speaker 5: it's a personal choice for me.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I oh.
- 19:27Speaker 5: When I was dating, it was never it was never
- 19:31Speaker 5: a question like, I oh, if you were single and
- 19:33Speaker 5: didn't have kids, it was fine. If you were single
- 19:35Speaker 5: with kids, it was also fine. It was all fine
- 19:38Speaker 5: for me. So I never had that going into it.
- 19:40Speaker 5: But I think some people know themselves really well and
- 19:43Speaker 5: just know that that's not for them, And I think
- 19:45Speaker 5: that's perfectly fine to know that.
- 19:48Speaker 1: So you should end it if you feel that way,
- 19:50Speaker 1: Because I think at one point thought I'm not so
- 19:53Speaker 1: sure I would want that. I'd like to start, you know, new,
- 19:57Speaker 1: fresh with everything, and then time goes by and I
- 20:00Speaker 1: don't like kids don't have kids?
- 20:03Speaker 4: Yeah, it doesn't.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Of your friends, an Tanya has kids and she's great.
- 20:07Speaker 1: You know, she has a lot of them, Tony, A
- 20:10Speaker 1: lot of my friends have a lot of kids.
- 20:11Speaker 6: Which friends are you telling me?
- 20:12Speaker 1: One of the single ones? Way A while back, I
- 20:15Speaker 1: was like, that is fine. I think I don't so
- 20:17Speaker 1: to me. But I'm not twenty seven, and so there
- 20:21Speaker 1: are a lot of things that I don't I don't
- 20:24Speaker 1: care about or matter to me anyway.
- 20:26Speaker 3: If I was twenty seven, I would think that's way
- 20:27Speaker 3: too much drama to Genesis. So I'm with you, right,
- 20:30Speaker 3: And if you're not feeling it, you're not feeling it.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's yours. It's how you feel. Thank you
- 20:35Speaker 1: for that.
- 20:36Speaker 15: There's no way I could have thank you?
- 20:39Speaker 1: Okay, are you gonna end it?
- 20:41Speaker 15: I mean, I there is more to this story.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Well, what do we need to know, Jenesis? What's the
- 20:47Speaker 1: genesis of this story?
- 20:49Speaker 4: Grab the popcorn?
- 20:50Speaker 15: Nice? I told him this, and then out of nowhere,
- 20:54Speaker 15: a couple of days ago, I got a DM from
- 20:56Speaker 15: his best friend trying to convince me to stay with
- 21:00Speaker 15: him and to keep seeing him. And now I just
- 21:03Speaker 15: don't know what to do.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Why his best friend Pradon likes you guys together and
- 21:07Speaker 1: thinks he's happy it's trying to be a good friend.
- 21:10Speaker 15: Well should I should I give him another chance?
- 21:14Speaker 1: I can't tell you, like, I don't have a problem
- 21:16Speaker 1: with somebody having kids if I meet them, but you did, same?
- 21:20Speaker 15: Yeah, Okay, good point.
- 21:22Speaker 1: I think if we're here, you should end it, because
- 21:24Speaker 1: this is a you don't You don't take it to
- 21:27Speaker 1: the radio unless you have a strong feeling. So I
- 21:31Speaker 1: think you're probably better off for you ending it and
- 21:34Speaker 1: you'll find your right person. Thank you for thank you
- 21:37Speaker 1: for trusting us with the conversation, Genesis. I appreciate listening.
- 21:40Speaker 15: Okay, thank you, Okay.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Bye bye. Yeah. I think also as time goes by,
- 21:46Speaker 1: you start realizing I'm finding a lot of things. At
- 21:50Speaker 1: the beginning, you're like, I need all these things right
- 21:52Speaker 1: at the beginning one stage in your life, you're like, yes,
- 21:56Speaker 1: who cares, I got a boyfriend on this side? Fine,
- 22:03Speaker 1: matter so much?
- 22:04Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, No, you just.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Need you seed a one box or two check not seven.
- 22:09Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. In your twenties, the checklist for
- 22:12Speaker 3: the perfect perfect it was, Oh my gosh, it was endless.
- 22:16Speaker 3: But as you get older, you're just not that you compromise,
- 22:18Speaker 3: but you just like you. You accept things better because
- 22:21Speaker 3: you're wider.
- 22:22Speaker 1: You get to my chapter, you're like, totally fine, all
- 22:25Speaker 1: of it.
- 22:27Speaker 6: You like you like me, not a boyfriend on the side.
- 22:29Speaker 6: You deserve better than mine.
- 22:30Speaker 4: What about grandkids? Is that a deal breaker?
- 22:34Speaker 1: I've never asked that, but the team thinks that's hysterical.
- 22:41Speaker 4: I literally choking on my water.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Well so is somebody else back there? You're saying if
- 22:51Speaker 1: I met someone had grandkids, well.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Yeah, like there they've had kids.
- 22:55Speaker 1: I don't think I'm old enough for someone happening.
- 22:57Speaker 4: That's not truth.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Look at we were just talking about Manny on the streets.
- 22:59Speaker 3: He said grandpa now and you look at him and
- 23:01Speaker 3: you're like, that's guy's like my you're a little bit older.
- 23:05Speaker 3: But he had kids super young.
- 23:09Speaker 1: In our in our defense, like to answer question, I
- 23:14Speaker 1: don't find many my type, So no, it would not
- 23:16Speaker 1: work for me. There with Ryan Seacrest, one of two
- 23:21Speaker 1: point seven Kiss FM. All right, so sisnanty, you're saying
- 23:24Speaker 1: that if you're not meeting your soulmate, not you, it's
- 23:27Speaker 1: the dating app you might be using. Break it down,
- 23:30Speaker 1: it could.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Okay, So I read this roundup of the best dating
- 23:33Speaker 3: apps Unmashable and it breaks down which app is best
- 23:35Speaker 3: for you, uh, for the person that you're looking for.
- 23:38Speaker 3: And I was actually very surprised that e Harmony came
- 23:41Speaker 3: out on top as one of the best apps if
- 23:43Speaker 3: you're serious about finding the one. I always knew it
- 23:46Speaker 3: was a serious back back in the day a website,
- 23:49Speaker 3: and so now an app. I know somebody one our boss, Biotto,
- 23:54Speaker 3: found her husband on e harmony and it's a very
- 23:57Speaker 3: more like detailed compatibility quick is that you put on
- 24:00Speaker 3: there and it really matches you with the right person.
- 24:04Speaker 3: And I truly feel like she did find the right
- 24:07Speaker 3: person through e Harmony. And then there's Hinge, and well,
- 24:13Speaker 3: as we know, is a big advocate for Hinge.
- 24:16Speaker 4: They say the.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Whole vibe is designed to be deleted, which means love
- 24:20Speaker 3: that it's great if you actually want the relationship. Plus
- 24:23Speaker 3: the prompts make it easier to kind of spark real conversations. Okay,
- 24:27Speaker 3: Tinder is on the list as well, which I was like,
- 24:30Speaker 3: I didn't I didn't know if you were still doing
- 24:32Speaker 3: the Tinder.
- 24:33Speaker 4: But Tinder is for casual dating.
- 24:36Speaker 3: That's kind of just like, that's the stigma that it's received,
- 24:39Speaker 3: and it's if you want to.
- 24:42Speaker 1: For a while.
- 24:43Speaker 4: It's if you want to meet a lot of people fast, right, Tubbs.
- 24:46Speaker 1: That's what I'm told you when we were hold on.
- 24:49Speaker 1: You did it when we were in brill in Brazil,
- 24:52Speaker 1: in Brazil broadcasters. Yeah, I understand that, but hold on,
- 24:56Speaker 1: but hold on. We went to Rio to broadcast this
- 24:59Speaker 1: show for the Olympics for two weeks, and that's when
- 25:02Speaker 1: you decided to tinder tindering in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Not here, but there I met.
- 25:07Speaker 5: One of his tender days there go on e harmony
- 25:11Speaker 5: to meet the love of his life. And I don't.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Remember any of this. I'm just saying he took the
- 25:16Speaker 1: two weeks in Brazil to start.
- 25:18Speaker 4: It was four weeks.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Yeah, and it was also Tubbs's birthday during that vacation.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Slash work. Yes, so okay, don't ask how, I don't
- 25:29Speaker 1: ask how many matches he made something else.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Okay, Bumble is on the list. Ideal if you're making
- 25:35Speaker 3: the first move. You don't want to be flooded with
- 25:38Speaker 3: messages women message here first, So that is still a
- 25:41Speaker 3: fan favorite. Coffee meets Bagel is on there, Okay, so
- 25:45Speaker 3: they're saying that Coffee meets Bagel is good for if
- 25:48Speaker 3: your over decision fatigue, and it sends you curated matches daily,
- 25:52Speaker 3: so it's more intentional. And then, okay, Cupid is great
- 25:55Speaker 3: for deep thinkers. The profile is more detailed and questions
- 25:58Speaker 3: to help you match up with people who actually share
- 26:00Speaker 3: your values and interest And this one was actually kind
- 26:04Speaker 3: of funny to me, but I'm like, maybe it makes sense.
- 26:06Speaker 3: The app's called Thursday, and this one only works one
- 26:09Speaker 3: day of the week yep, Thursdays, and it creates this
- 26:12Speaker 3: sense of urgency and keeps you from getting burnt out
- 26:15Speaker 3: on the dating apps. So you kind of just commit
- 26:17Speaker 3: your Thursday to swipe look see if you match, and
- 26:20Speaker 3: then you don't think about it until the next week.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I'm overwhelmed with the streamers, the number of streamers there are,
- 26:26Speaker 1: the number of dating apps there are just overwhelmed with apps.
- 26:30Speaker 6: But think about it.
- 26:30Speaker 5: You could just go to any bar anywhere in any
- 26:33Speaker 5: city and meet someone, so it's like.
- 26:35Speaker 1: I don't I don't go to a bar to meet someone.
- 26:37Speaker 6: Well maybe that's the problem.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Oh well, maybe it is the problem.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Could you imagine Ryan just walking into a bar by myself,
- 26:44Speaker 3: sitting under the cow by himself.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Hey, how are you doing?
- 26:49Speaker 4: I mean, I do it.
- 26:50Speaker 3: If I'm on vacation by myself or like a work
- 26:52Speaker 3: trip or something, I'll go down to the hotel bar,
- 26:57Speaker 3: venture out into the city.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Oh maybe that's your problem.
- 27:00Speaker 4: That's aggressive. Maybe he doesn't have a problem.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe I just choose to moan about it to
- 27:14Speaker 1: you guys, but truly, deep down, Yeah, please call us
- 27:21Speaker 1: with any relationship drama. I'm in the mood today. Think
- 27:25Speaker 1: we're we're ready for it today, We're in the mood.
- 27:27Speaker 1: So Victoria is on the phone with a little bit
- 27:29Speaker 1: of this. Victoria, very interesting and I appreciate you wanting
- 27:33Speaker 1: to share this with us right now this morning. Tell
- 27:37Speaker 1: us why you are second guessing your significant other's attraction
- 27:42Speaker 1: to you.
- 27:45Speaker 14: Yeah. So I'm dating someone new and he is divorced,
- 27:49Speaker 14: which is totally fine. He's been very upfront about that
- 27:52Speaker 14: since the beginning. That's not an issue. And we've been
- 27:55Speaker 14: together for like two months now. But the other day
- 27:59Speaker 14: I was at his place and I was looking through
- 28:01Speaker 14: some of his pictures and I saw a picture of
- 28:03Speaker 14: his ex wife and we are like completely identical. We
- 28:09Speaker 14: look exactly the same. And I made a joke about
- 28:11Speaker 14: it in the moment, like Wow, you must really have
- 28:13Speaker 14: a type, and he acted like he maybe hadn't noticed
- 28:17Speaker 14: that we.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Look I don't know, And what are the features that
- 28:23Speaker 1: are so similar?
- 28:25Speaker 14: Like we both just have like the exact same dark hair.
- 28:27Speaker 14: We have, like it's like the same exact nose and mouth.
- 28:31Speaker 14: We even have like the same green eyes. It just
- 28:33Speaker 14: is like a pretty specific combination that is like would
- 28:38Speaker 14: be crazy not to notice.
- 28:40Speaker 1: You don't sound upset about it, So are you playfully
- 28:44Speaker 1: giving a hard time? Are you actually thinking that you
- 28:47Speaker 1: are filling the place of her?
- 28:50Speaker 14: Well, that's what I couldn't I think I was playfully wondering.
- 28:54Speaker 14: And then when he was like, oh, I have no idea,
- 28:57Speaker 14: Like when he was like, I've never noticed that before,
- 28:59Speaker 14: I was like, is this a big red flag? And
- 29:01Speaker 14: you're just like trying to slot me into the place
- 29:04Speaker 14: that your ex wife has? Like, is am I even
- 29:09Speaker 14: you know a factor here? Or you maybe it's.
- 29:11Speaker 4: Not an issue like, that's just he hands a type.
- 29:14Speaker 1: But do people have types?
- 29:16Speaker 4: Certain people do? I think so?
- 29:18Speaker 1: Really?
- 29:18Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, look at an interesting question that Ryan provokes,
- 29:24Speaker 5: because we all say we have a type, right, we
- 29:27Speaker 5: all think we have a type, and then do you
- 29:29Speaker 5: end up with said type?
- 29:32Speaker 3: You did the man who always described Tanya looked exactly
- 29:35Speaker 3: like Robbie.
- 29:36Speaker 1: You think so, yeah, for sure, because you told us,
- 29:39Speaker 1: But not.
- 29:39Speaker 6: Really because not really, not really.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Nobody can see your yeah, and you cannot really because
- 29:45Speaker 1: not really you got it, not really, because I.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Think certain people have types, you know t tark El
- 29:50Speaker 3: Musa from Flip or Flop and his ex wife and
- 29:54Speaker 3: his new wife Heather from Selling Sunset Like they actually
- 29:57Speaker 3: made a joke video the other day and put it
- 29:58Speaker 3: on social about how much they look alive.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Exactly, Victoria. Do you watch those shows? Do you have
- 30:04Speaker 1: any idea what they're saying?
- 30:06Speaker 15: I haven't seen any of those shows.
- 30:07Speaker 1: But is he showing I mean, does he show you that,
- 30:11Speaker 1: like everything is everything else good in the relationship, he
- 30:14Speaker 1: shows you the kind of respect that you want to
- 30:16Speaker 1: That's a good question.
- 30:18Speaker 14: Yeah, I like I thought it was going super well.
- 30:20Speaker 14: It just kind of weirds me out, like how people
- 30:23Speaker 14: get the same dog and give it the same name
- 30:25Speaker 14: even after the first dog died.
- 30:31Speaker 1: I did not sorry, different show. I I mean, I
- 30:37Speaker 1: think if you think it's a type, but if it's
- 30:39Speaker 1: not bothering the relationship, then I guess he's sort of like.
- 30:42Speaker 4: Yeah, is he a good man? He treats you right,
- 30:44Speaker 4: that's all that matters.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, Well, good luck, Victoria. A type? I mean,
- 30:49Speaker 1: Michael Calvin Harris spitting images practically twins.
- 30:52Speaker 4: You see what I mean?
- 30:53Speaker 1: You don't have a type.
- 30:54Speaker 4: I don't have a type. All my ex boyfriends look
- 30:57Speaker 4: completely different.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Rub you have a type.
- 31:00Speaker 4: By the way, Calvin your next boyfriend, because.
- 31:05Speaker 1: The magazines are going to set the record straight. I did.
- 31:14Speaker 2: I used to have a type, but now I mean,
- 31:15Speaker 2: my type is David. I don't know.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Good answer, Kayla, you're single type?
- 31:21Speaker 13: I thought I did, but I don't know if I
- 31:23Speaker 13: do anymore.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Well know, the type you had shouldn't be because it
- 31:26Speaker 1: never works out, So get a new type. No, what
- 31:31Speaker 1: is your type?
- 31:33Speaker 7: I mean the looks wise, I feel like they're just
- 31:36Speaker 7: a little bit more like rocker like tattoos.
- 31:39Speaker 13: But I never actually end up with.
- 31:41Speaker 1: A guy like that, So change your type, type shift, but.
- 31:47Speaker 13: I still like that type and that it doesn't come
- 31:49Speaker 13: to me.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Don't don't give up on that type doesn't worked out
- 31:53Speaker 3: in the past.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Nobody has a type.
- 31:55Speaker 3: I think people have a type. I think you see
- 31:59Speaker 3: you think whatever your type is, that's your type at
- 32:01Speaker 3: the moment. But then all of a sudden you meet
- 32:03Speaker 3: somebody else and they may look completely different from that person,
- 32:06Speaker 3: but there's some common denominator that still connects them all
- 32:09Speaker 3: together because it's the type.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Honey, you told us every guy that you've ever dated
- 32:15Speaker 1: embodies Robbie's characteristics.
- 32:18Speaker 4: No, no, no, not every guy.
- 32:19Speaker 1: I know. I just made that, you know, I just
- 32:26Speaker 1: made really.
- 32:29Speaker 4: The actor that he was like, thought was so hot and.
- 32:31Speaker 6: Then the mixed between dev Patel and Zachary.
- 32:36Speaker 1: That's what I meant.
- 32:37Speaker 6: And then we meet Robbie.
- 32:38Speaker 4: I was like, literally could.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Be his cousin.
- 32:44Speaker 6: I will stand, I will die on this hill. That
- 32:46Speaker 6: nobody has a type. Everybody says they.
- 32:49Speaker 4: Have a type.
- 32:49Speaker 6: But you really don't.
- 32:51Speaker 4: Stop with the air quotes.
- 32:52Speaker 10: No one person who does that in your life because
- 32:56Speaker 10: you used to not air quote.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Now all you do is.
- 32:58Speaker 6: Airport done it for the last thirty seconds because you've.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Got the last twenty minutes rights one O two point
- 33:04Speaker 1: seven kiss FM. Hey Nathan Wiskvina, how are you bro
- 33:09Speaker 1: how good? How are you solid? Thanks for asking? So
- 33:12Speaker 1: you say your girlfriend broke her arm? What's the question?
- 33:17Speaker 16: Yeah, So, first of all, thank you for taking my call.
- 33:20Speaker 16: I was just wondering if I coul get a group opinion, OK,
- 33:23Speaker 16: because all the west friends are all over the place
- 33:25Speaker 16: with their opinion. Anyways, next next week with my governor
- 33:28Speaker 16: and I are going up to Big Bear, just have
- 33:30Speaker 16: I can ask a low weekend with each other. And
- 33:33Speaker 16: initially I was planning on to propose to her, but
- 33:38Speaker 16: she unfortunately broke her arm and it's her left arm.
- 33:41Speaker 16: So I'm just wondering, like, should I still propose because
- 33:45Speaker 16: like you know, obviously left arm's you know, the ring arm,
- 33:48Speaker 16: the ring hand and all the photos that are going
- 33:50Speaker 16: to be taking. I just I don't think that she's
- 33:52Speaker 16: gonna love having that one time I do this have
- 33:57Speaker 16: the photos with the cast on.
- 33:58Speaker 15: So I don't know.
- 34:00Speaker 16: I just wonder what you guys think.
- 34:02Speaker 3: No, she's just gonna be so happy that you proposed.
- 34:08Speaker 6: I don't think so you should.
- 34:10Speaker 4: What are you gonna wait another six months.
- 34:12Speaker 5: Yeah, what's six months when you have rested her life lifetime?
- 34:15Speaker 4: Nobody ever looks at these pictures ever.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Again, you do know you will not time out in
- 34:22Speaker 3: your best shape and form when this happens.
- 34:25Speaker 4: It doesn't matter. She's gonna be so happy she doesn't
- 34:27Speaker 4: ring on her finger. It doesn't matter if her whole
- 34:29Speaker 4: arms are broken.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Do it? I say, wait, this is so hard. Let's
- 34:38Speaker 1: get a backroom opinion on this, because sometimes we are
- 34:41Speaker 1: not good.
- 34:45Speaker 7: I feel like, if she's been waiting for a while
- 34:47Speaker 7: and you are already like in the headspace that you
- 34:49Speaker 7: want to do it, go for it. She's gonna be
- 34:51Speaker 7: happy regardless. She's not gonna care about the cash. She's
- 34:54Speaker 7: gonna be happy.
- 34:55Speaker 2: She got the ring.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Now, Nathan ask Rupy how long she waited?
- 35:00Speaker 2: Did you wait a lifetime?
- 35:04Speaker 1: Years?
- 35:05Speaker 8: Bro?
- 35:06Speaker 1: Years? Contracts for Newton contract renews? Oh man, you got
- 35:14Speaker 1: your manicure fresh for a Yeah, it's coming gone.
- 35:21Speaker 16: That's you guys. You guys are leaning I should still
- 35:24Speaker 16: do it.
- 35:25Speaker 4: I am leaning.
- 35:26Speaker 1: You're split.
- 35:27Speaker 6: Actually, I say no.
- 35:28Speaker 13: I say, wait, oh, so we have is it two?
- 35:31Speaker 16: No's one? Yes, I'm here.
- 35:33Speaker 3: I think it's going to be such a it's gonna
- 35:34Speaker 3: make such a great story.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, let me take it from me, Yeah, the expert.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Then I would go with those who know what they're
- 35:46Speaker 1: talking about here when it comes engagements, good luck, brother,
- 35:49Speaker 1: and congratulations, good news in your life. This is kiss
- 35:52Speaker 1: f M l ast one a two point seven kiss FM. Uh.
- 36:00Speaker 1: So let's get into this in a relationship. It is important,
- 36:04Speaker 1: and we advocate that you take time to just be.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Don't even make a plan, just literally, I don't know
- 36:10Speaker 1: if you can. Maybe you do have to make a plan,
- 36:13Speaker 1: but just be, like put your phone down, put any
- 36:16Speaker 1: device that chirps away and down and like talk, yes,
- 36:24Speaker 1: ask questions, laugh, And people are doing this on something
- 36:31Speaker 1: called the bottle Night. Now.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Yeah, so this couple went viral because they posted what
- 36:34Speaker 3: they do and they kind of they call it bottle night.
- 36:38Speaker 3: And I'm sure every couple has polished off a bottle
- 36:41Speaker 3: of wine or two in their day and sitting there
- 36:44Speaker 3: and talking and stuff like that. But I guarantee you
- 36:46Speaker 3: that you did not lock your phone away or didn't
- 36:49Speaker 3: have the TV on in the background or your Apple Watch.
- 36:52Speaker 4: Even so, this is.
- 36:53Speaker 3: Completely going off the grid, and it's almost like you're camping.
- 36:57Speaker 3: I don't know if you guys have ever been camping
- 36:59Speaker 3: where you don't have Wi Fi and you just don't
- 37:00Speaker 3: have any sort of question in camping.
- 37:02Speaker 6: Well, I'm saying like recently, never been camping.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Because I just did it like two years ago and
- 37:07Speaker 3: it was such a trip because we were kind of
- 37:09Speaker 3: like on two different campsites and I didn't have Michael
- 37:11Speaker 3: and I was like, oh, I'll just text it. My
- 37:13Speaker 3: brother looks at me, He's like, you can't text him,
- 37:15Speaker 3: and I was like, oh my gosh, it's such a
- 37:17Speaker 3: weird adjustment. So, yes, going off the grid completely for
- 37:21Speaker 3: bottle night means that the two of you lock your
- 37:23Speaker 3: phones away, the TV is off, and each of you
- 37:26Speaker 3: grab a bottle of your favorite wine. So you polish
- 37:29Speaker 3: off two bottles by sitting there and just talking and
- 37:33Speaker 3: spending the taf You have your.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Own bottle back and forth like a couple. I guess
- 37:38Speaker 1: you can do whatever you want. You take a sip
- 37:40Speaker 1: by take a sip. You take it, and you're supposed
- 37:42Speaker 1: to drink it without a glass right out of Yes, yes,
- 37:45Speaker 1: that's the catch.
- 37:47Speaker 4: I think the bigger takeaway is that the devices are.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Out of the I'm not shocked you say that not
- 37:53Speaker 1: the people will do that. I often will put my
- 37:56Speaker 1: device in a drawer just to put it out of
- 37:59Speaker 1: the way.
- 38:00Speaker 6: You're out of the yeah, out of the norm.
- 38:02Speaker 1: I put it in a drawer, And sometimes I forget
- 38:05Speaker 1: which draw I put it in, because you know, you
- 38:07Speaker 1: just sort of say I'm putting it somewhere. Then you
- 38:08Speaker 1: put it away, and then you're like, what I put?
- 38:10Speaker 1: Where did I go? But I love to put my
- 38:12Speaker 1: device away. Okay, So if we were to do bottle
- 38:15Speaker 1: night and put our phones away, what would you choose
- 38:18Speaker 1: to drink? Siciny?
- 38:21Speaker 3: I would definitely do a red maybe a Bordeaux.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, he beats out in no time. That's
- 38:29Speaker 1: got a high percentage of alcohol. Well that's what I
- 38:32Speaker 1: would want if that would put me to sleep so fast. Okay,
- 38:37Speaker 1: what would you pick? Tanya?
- 38:38Speaker 6: Probably an orange natural wine.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Do you like them? The color of them freaks me out?
- 38:45Speaker 6: Yeah, same, we do like them.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Obs. What would you pick? I like a Sando VICI
- 38:52Speaker 1: like a Barolo or that's what I was gonna choose,
- 38:57Speaker 1: a Sendovas. Yeah, that's good stuff, that's the and I
- 39:00Speaker 1: was gonna choose like an Italian wine for me, a Kianti.
- 39:02Speaker 1: I love I love a Kianti, So I would you
- 39:06Speaker 1: we could have bottle night, bro, I'm down right. When
- 39:09Speaker 1: is the guy coming in from West Virginia? Though I
- 39:11Speaker 1: don't want to. I don't want to have a conflict
- 39:12Speaker 1: in your social schedule. Uh yeah, I like I like
- 39:18Speaker 1: to send you the grape as well. Let's make it
- 39:20Speaker 1: box night, everybody, come on, let's have some fun. Ruby.
- 39:23Speaker 1: What would your what would your bottle be?
- 39:25Speaker 2: I'd probably do like is it game or gamey.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Heard of it?
- 39:29Speaker 7: Oh?
- 39:30Speaker 2: It's really good. It's a red or a pino?
- 39:34Speaker 1: Right? All right? Well thanks, No one's doing with Rose
- 39:41Speaker 1: michaela who you have?
- 39:43Speaker 4: That's like day drinking.
- 39:43Speaker 13: I probably have a pino as well.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Yeah, oh, very very good. Answers were so sophisticated wine
- 39:53Speaker 1: drinkers around here. Different guy. All right, let's come back
- 39:58Speaker 1: Bottle night here at two point seven kiuse all right,
- 40:01Speaker 1: every trying to save money to the grocery store. So
- 40:03Speaker 1: experts say, if you bring this, you'll spend less. And
- 40:05Speaker 1: that is not a water bottle, as Tanya guess it
- 40:07Speaker 1: is a sweater.
- 40:09Speaker 4: Sweater?
- 40:10Speaker 10: Oh yes, smart supermarkets they keep it chilly because cold
- 40:16Speaker 10: choppers choose products emotionally to cope with the cold, and
- 40:19Speaker 10: they spend more.
- 40:20Speaker 1: So I thought it was for the food.
- 40:22Speaker 4: It has to be for the food.
- 40:24Speaker 1: No, researchers found out that supermarkets they do it to
- 40:27Speaker 1: keep you cold so you make emotional decisions when buying.
- 40:30Speaker 5: I always thought they keep you cold so that you
- 40:32Speaker 5: want to get out of there faster, so you're like
- 40:34Speaker 5: moving quicker.
- 40:35Speaker 1: But they don't want you to get out of there faster.
- 40:36Speaker 1: They want you to stay in language just like bye
- 40:38Speaker 1: bye bye bye bye, go go go go emotionally. That's
- 40:41Speaker 1: what the research says, So pack a sweater to the store.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Today's quote. We do these every morning. You cannot see
- 40:47Speaker 1: your reflection in boiling water. Similarly, you cannot see the
- 40:51Speaker 1: truth in a state of anger when the water's calm
- 40:54Speaker 1: clarity comes. Just way to beat, Take a breath, don't reacts.
- 41:00Speaker 1: It's good, that's true. You're on kiss all right, kiss
