- 0:02A low muttering rose from the subconscient caves.
- 0:06The stammer of the primal ignorance answer to that
- 0:11inarticulate questioning. They're stooped with lightning,
- 0:15neck and thunder's wings, a radiant hymn to the
- 0:19inexpressible and the anthem of the Super conscient light.
- 0:26All was revealed there. None can hear express vision and
- 0:30dream. Were fables spoken by truth or
- 0:33symbols more veridical than fact, or were truths enforced by
- 0:38supernatural seals. Immortal eyes approached and
- 0:43looked in his and beings of many kingdoms neared and spoke.
- 0:49The ever living, whom we name as dead, could leave their glory
- 0:53beyond death and birth to utter the wisdom which exceeds all,
- 0:57phrase the kings of evil and the kings of good.
- 1:03Appellants at the reason's judgment seat proclaim the
- 1:07gospel of their opposites, and all believe themselves.
- 1:11Spokesmen of God, the gods of light, and Titans of the dark
- 1:16battled for his soul As for a costly prize.
- 1:21In every hour, loose from the quiver of time, there rose a
- 1:25song of new discovery, a Beau Twang's home of young
- 1:30experiment. Each day was a spiritual
- 1:33romance, as if he was born into a bright new world.
- 1:39Adventure leaped an unexpected friend, and danger brought a
- 1:44keen, sweet Tang of joy. Each happening was a deep
- 1:48experience. There were high encounters.
- 1:52Epic colloquies and counsels came couched in celestial speech
- 1:59and honeyed pleadings, breathed from occult lips to help the
- 2:03heart, to yield to rapture's call and sweet temptation.
- 2:07Stole from beauty's realms and sudden ecstasies from a world of
- 2:12bliss. It was a region of wonder and
- 2:16delight all. Now his bright, clear audience
- 2:20could receive a contact, thrilled of mighty unknown
- 2:24things, awakened to new, unearthly Closenesses.
- 2:29The touch replied to subtle infinities, and with a silver
- 2:33cry of opening gates, Sight's lightnings leaped into the
- 2:37invisible ever. His consciousness and vision
- 2:41grew. They took an ampler sweep a
- 2:45loftier flight. He passed the border mark for
- 2:49matters rule and past the zone where thought replaces life out
- 2:55of this world of signs. Suddenly he came into a silent
- 2:59self where world was not and looked beyond into a nameless
- 3:04vast. These symbol figures lost their
- 3:08right to live. All tokens dropped.
- 3:11Our sense can recognize there the heartbeat no more at bodies
- 3:16touch there the eyes gazed no more on Beauty's shape in rare
- 3:22and lucent intervals of hush into a sineless region he could
- 3:27soar, packed with the deep contents of formlessness.
- 3:33Where world was into a single being wrapped and all was known
- 3:37by the light of identity and spirit was its own self
- 3:43evidence. The Supreme's gaze looked out
- 3:46through human eyes and saw all things and creatures as itself,
- 3:52and knew all thought and word as its own voice.
- 3:56Their unity is too close for search and clasp, and love is a
- 4:01yearning of the one for the one and beauty is a sweet difference
- 4:05of the same and oneness is the soul of multitude.
- 4:11There all the truths unite in a single truth, and all ideas
- 4:16rejoin reality. There knowing herself by her own
- 4:21terminal self, wisdom, supernal, wordless, absolute, sat,
- 4:28uncompanioned in the eternal calm, all seeing, motionless,
- 4:36sovereign and alone. Their knowledge needs not words
- 4:40to embody idea. Idea seeking a house in
- 4:44boundlessness, weary of its homeless immortality, asks not
- 4:50in thoughts carved brilliant cell to rest, whose single
- 4:54windows clipped outlook on things sees only a little arc of
- 4:59God's vast sky. The boundless with the boundless
- 5:04there consorts while there 1 can be wider than the world, while
- 5:10there one is 1's own Infinity. His centre was no more an
- 5:15earthly mind, the power of seeing Silence filled his limbs,
- 5:21caught by a voiceless white epiphany into a vision that
- 5:25surpasses forms into a living that surpasses life.
- 5:31He neared the still consciousness, sustaining all
- 5:36the voice that only by speech can move.
- 5:38The mind became a silent knowledge in the soul.
- 5:44The strength that only in action feels its truth was lodged now
- 5:48in a mute omnipotent peace, a leisure in the labor of the
- 5:54world's. A pause in the joy and anguish
- 5:57of the search restored the stress of nature to God's calm.
- 6:02A vast unanimity ended life's debate.
- 6:06The war of thoughts that fathers the universe, the clash of
- 6:10forces struggling to prevail in the tremendous shock that lights
- 6:15a star, as in the building of a grain of dust.
- 6:20The grooves that turn their dumb ellipse in space, plowed by the
- 6:25seeking of the world's desire. The long regurgitations of
- 6:29time's flood, the torment edging, the dire force of lust
- 6:35that wakes kinetic in Earth's dullard slime and carves a
- 6:39personality out of mud. The sorrows by which nature's
- 6:44hunger is fed, the estrus which creates with fire of pain the
- 6:49fate that punishes virtue. With defeat, the tragedy that
- 6:54destroys long happiness, the weak weeping of love, the
- 6:59quarrel of the gods ceased. In a truth which lives in its
- 7:04own light. His soul stood free, A witness
- 7:10and a king absorbed no more in the moment ridden flux, where
- 7:15mind incessantly drifts as on a raft hurried from phenomenon to
- 7:20phenomenon. He abode at rest in indivisible
- 7:25time, as if a story long written, but acted now in his
- 7:31present. He held his future and his past,
- 7:34felt in the seconds, the uncounted years, and saw the
- 7:39hours like dots upon a page. An aspect of the unknown reality
- 7:45altered the meaning of the cosmic scene.
- 7:48This huge material universe became a small result of a
- 7:53stupendous force overtaking the moment.
- 7:57The eternal ray illumined that which never yet was made.
- 8:03Thought lay down in a mighty voicelessness, the toiling
- 8:07thinker widened and grew still. Wisdom transcendent touched his
- 8:12quivering heart. His soul could sail beyond
- 8:16Thought's luminous bar mind screamed no more of the
- 8:21shoreless infinite. Across a void retreating sky he
- 8:25glimpsed through a last glimmer and drift of vanishing stars the
- 8:30Super conscient realms of motionless peace, Where judgment
- 8:35ceases and the word is mute, and the unconceived lies pathless
- 8:42and alone There came not form or any mounting voice.
- 8:49There only were silence and the absolute.
- 8:54Out of that stillness mine newborn arose and woke to truths
- 8:59once inexpressible and forms appeared dumbly significant.
- 9:06A seeing thought, a self revealing voice.
- 9:11He knew the source from which his spirit came.
- 9:16Movement was married to the immobile vast.
- 9:20He plunged his roots into the infinite.
- 9:24He based his life upon eternity.
