- 0:00Are we ready? I'm ready. She's patiently waiting to enter the judgment zone.
- 0:04Every Tuesday, we have a little predicament today. Danielle is her name.
- 0:08She's on the phone right now, and she loved to know what you
- 0:11think. Seven oh one two eight one ninety eight seven. Good morning,
- 0:16Danielle. Well, I had this guy who abruptly ended a date with me
- 0:21last week because I asked him questions. And I'm not getting any younger,
- 0:26and I really don't want to waste my time on just dating for the sake
- 0:30of dating. For me, it's important to align myself with somebody who has
- 0:35similar values and belief in the potential of this being my life partner. So
- 0:39I a little bit type. Yeah, No, I get that you don't
- 0:44want to waste your time, because if you're not on my page, then
- 0:46why would I go on a second date or whatever? Exactly exactly, So
- 0:51I know how people feel about this. But I did ask him about his
- 0:55political views, because the conversation was gearing towards that, I asked him about
- 0:59his religious belief He said he didn't want to get into that. I already
- 1:03knew what he did for a living because we had kind of exchanged information about
- 1:07that before we met in person, and so I felt like I kind of
- 1:10came off in a charming way. But I did ask kind of like ballpark
- 1:15range in his salary and he got no response. Hang on, what do
- 1:19you mean you asked about his salary? Like, how do you even brow
- 1:23that up? There was a conversation that was coming across about taxes because you
- 1:27know, getting ready for tax season, and I was like, yeah,
- 1:30you know, here's a tax bracket I'm in. Do you find yourself in
- 1:34a similar tax bracket? Like yeah, so coy, you should have just
- 1:38had him bring his W two to the date. Oh this is so good,
- 1:44Danielle. I mean, I will say that there's been past relationships where
- 1:48I felt like I had had to carry the financial burden, and it is
- 1:52I mean not to put a pun on this of our conversation, but it
- 1:53is taxing on the relationship. Yeah, definitely tell us what happened when you
- 1:59brought that up? He got up and the left. No, I mean,
- 2:00he didn't respond, and he started to get really defensive and he just
- 2:06you know, paid the tab and thanked me for the hang and so kind
- 2:10of in regard to the date, like I mean, is it okay for
- 2:15me to be asking these questions? Honestly, Danielle, I love it.
- 2:17I think that you know what you want, and that's to have somebody that
- 2:21you're gonna be able to settle down with, not just mess around for a
- 2:23night or whatever. I think that's perfectly fine to ask that question. If
- 2:27he's uncomfortable asking it, either ay he's broke or be you're not in your
- 2:31tax bracket, he's not looking to get serious, So no ask away religion,
- 2:38politics, income, religion and politics. I'm on board with. That's
- 2:42whatever. That's fluff to me. When you go for somebody's salary, that
- 2:46gets a little uncomfortable, I would think on the first date. And here's
- 2:49the thing, Danielle, if you're going to ask those questions, you need
- 2:51to understand what might repercussions be that could turn him off, even if he
- 2:54is a big money guy, just the fact that you're asking and it seems
- 2:59like that's important to you, but he might view it as you're just looking
- 3:01for a guy that can take care of you. I feel like there has
- 3:04to be more of a medium ground where you're not there to just horse around,
- 3:07but you're also not there for for daniel that's what we call you know,
- 3:13anyway, I think I get it? Yeah, yeah, seven one
- 3:17two eight oh one ninety eight seven. What do you think Danielle wants to
- 3:20know? Is it too much to be asking about religion, politics and just
- 3:23straight up asking your income? On the first date you got me good?
- 3:28Oh? Why we got to call here? His name is Nick? Good
- 3:30morning Nick? Yeah. I was listening to that lady, and that would
- 3:35be way too aggressive for me. I'm also in the dating world, and
- 3:39if I went on a date like that and it just felt like a job
- 3:43interview, I mean I was losing immediately. That's kind of a good way
- 3:46to put it, and that softens it a little. I mean, it
- 3:50does feel like you're interviewing somebody a little too hard. Are you in the
- 3:53same boat as heard though, Nick, where you're looking for a serious relationship
- 3:57or are you just looking to horse around? I I guess I wouldn't say
- 4:00no to horsing around. Well, this kind of girl is really laying the
- 4:03groundwork for zero play and just all financials. Just where do you draw the
- 4:10line yet? Because is the politics? Is that too much for you?
- 4:12Even? I mean, you know there has to be some sense of romance
- 4:16at least some kind of chemistry. I mean, I'm not there to just
- 4:21you know, just tell you who I am. And listening to her,
- 4:26it's no wonder she's single. Oh bada zing. That's too harsh. Well,
- 4:31thanks for the call, Nick, appreciate it. All right, Thanks
- 4:33guys boys seven one two eight one ninety eight seven. We are in the
- 4:36judgment zone. What do you think? Call us or text us? Big
- 4:40ninety eight point seven, Pike, It a Manday in the morning, Big
- 4:42ninety eight points seven, Big ninety eight point seven, Good morning, It's
- 4:46Pike and the Manday in the morning. Well, we do have that Windschild
- 4:47advisory. This is going to go until noon today twenty five below with windchill.
- 4:51Can I ask you a question? Yeah, what's the craziest roller coaster
- 4:56you've ever been on? Oh? With a Wild Dang Wild Oh no,
- 4:58no, no, no no, that's the one Valley Fair Oh yeah,
- 5:00Big Drop Yep, nope, the Mindy Racer at Elitch's Six Flags in Colorado.
- 5:05The Mindy Racer. That was fun. Well, it's nothing compared to
- 5:09the roller coaster I'm about to take you on. All right. Oh,
- 5:13let me tell you that much yaosa? Okay. It's the story of an
- 5:16eighty year old man Amanda, who recently fell ill. His name is Darshan.
- 5:21Yeah, Darshan was diagnosed with a chest infection. After four days on
- 5:26a ventilator, his life came to an end. Darshan, at eighty years
- 5:30old, was pronounced dead. Family started to make arrangements. They even had
- 5:35a tent set up. Food arrangements were made Amanda to celebrate Darshan's life as
- 5:42he was being transported to the Morgue in an ambulance. Okay, dead,
- 5:46tent was set up where Darsian lives. It's customary to set a tenth to
- 5:53prepare for the funeral. Got it all right? So Darsian's riding in the
- 5:57ambulance when suddenly you have a drive over a pothole. You know the feeling.
- 6:01Yeah, the ambulance ran over a pothole, and what do you know,
- 6:10Darshan comes back from the dead. The jarring movement of the pottle.
- 6:17The kick started his heart shut up. His family, who hold his son,
- 6:21was holding his hand, fell, my god, movement. They detected
- 6:27a pulse and they say, oh, my god, Darsian's alive. We
- 6:30got to bring him to a hospital. So now Darshan, still in critical
- 6:34condition yet alive, is sitting in the hospital recovering. Can you imagine Darshian
- 6:43just like what why? And people want to fix potholes? Ooh, I
- 6:49don't. I have a lot of emotions because he's still in critical condition.
- 6:53I mean, do you think he's gonna make it? It's one of these
- 6:55things. And we've heard stories like this before. It's like, oh my
- 6:57god, it's a miracle. But oh yeah, he's still eighty, he's
- 7:00still very sick. You don't know if he's gonna live. But I mean,
- 7:03what a tale for Darsian's descendants. No kidding, Oh my gosh,
- 7:08I'm just trying to imagine this situation. It would I'd be so spooked.
- 7:12Yeah, because you, I mean, you're already going through like the morning
- 7:15process, don't you kind of all the morning process, like brushing your teeth
- 7:17and taking the shower. No, like oh like morning? Yeah, yeah,
- 7:21well, like my pops is dead. This is you know, you're
- 7:24going through this and then all of a sudden, it's like he squeezes your
- 7:26hand. How do you come back from that? Well, you know,
- 7:29if Darsihan came back. I'd be like, I mean, just imagine because
- 7:30all the thoughts you had had like, oh I wish if only I would
- 7:33have said this to him one more time. Yeah, no, for sure.
- 7:35Now you get a new, a new crack at it, Daddy Darshan,
- 7:39You get to sit down and have all the talks. What do you
- 7:42know about Darshan that I don't, Daddy Darshan, you said his son was
- 7:46holding his hand. Yeah, he's a daddy. Oh okay, Yeah,
- 7:48he is a father. He's even a grandfather. Believe it or not,
- 7:53it's all him going. Daddy in a bit of a reputation, Old Darshan
- 7:57darsh in The Martian in the Morning seg. Ninety point seven. Well we
- 8:03have found herself in the middle of the judgment zone. Danielle reached out to
- 8:07us. She said she's in a predicament. She went on a first date.
- 8:09Now, this is a woman who's getting up there. You know,
- 8:11she wants to find somebody to settle down with. So boldly on the first
- 8:15date, asked this guy about his politics, about his religion, and straight
- 8:20up what tax bracket he's in. Yeah, he was a little vague about
- 8:22everything. But once she started talking financials instantly he basically said check please,
- 8:28thanks for the hang, and that was it. And now she wants to
- 8:31know is she being too aggressive? I don't think so. I think yes,
- 8:35it's going to turn people off, but that's what you want. She's
- 8:37not out here trying to cast a wide net dating just whatever. She wants.
- 8:39To narrow it down and know exactly who's into what she's into. Well
- 8:43seven one two eight dozho one ninety eight seven feel free to message us.
- 8:46You can also give us a call. We got a text here and she
- 8:48said her asking about income on the first date is incredibly tacky and makes her
- 8:52look very bad unless somebody's into it, and that's what she wants. What
- 8:56about you? Seven on one to two eight oh one ninety eight seven,
- 8:58Good morning, Ashley. What do you think? I disagree with Nick.
- 9:01I think she's in every right to ask because if you've been burned or you
- 9:07have had to carry the financial burden of a relationship, I think she's in
- 9:11her right. I think what you said, you know, she knows what
- 9:15she wants and she doesn't want to have to pay the entire grocer bill and
- 9:18the electric bill and the mortgage and all that. For sure, nobody wants
- 9:22that. And if you've been in this situation, Ashley, it sounds like
- 9:24you maybe have. Yes, I did, like many many years ago,
- 9:28I paid all the groceries. I had my own apartment, and he stayed
- 9:33over the whole time and didn't stay with his parents, Like nobody wants a
- 9:37leech. But don't you feel like there needs to be a little bit of
- 9:41a gap from the first date till maybe the second or third date or no,
- 9:45I can't see where it is a little aggressive on like the first date.
- 9:48But I mean, I waste your time exactly this girl, Daniel,
- 9:52she don't even have time to waste one single date, right because then you
- 9:56have the days following it where you're kind of texting. It's like, no,
- 9:58get it out out of the way, just get it all on the
- 10:01table, and eventually it's going to be for somebody. Somebody's gonna respect it
- 10:05and go Yes, might as what I want put together a Google doc and
- 10:07be like, fill out your tax bracket information before we even go on a
- 10:11day. I mean, come on, now, well, a long time
- 10:15ago, when I was on a dating website, you actually did put your
- 10:18salary. So is that right? Really? Yeah, I don't remember if
- 10:22it was sponsored by Turbo Taxa no, but I just think it was just
- 10:28one of those awkward questions like you don't have to ask because you already know
- 10:31as long as they're being honest on the web. Yeah, I was gonna
- 10:33say, if they're being honest because there's some guys there are five to nine
- 10:37ishes. Yeah, come on, whatever salaries, you can go ahead and
- 10:41take thirty K off of it, just by defaults, you know. And
- 10:43Amanda in the morning on seven, I got a gift idea for you,
- 10:48Amanda. I don't know if you and Nick exchange a lot of gifts on
- 10:50Valentine's Day. We don't exchange gifts at all. Usually that's not our jam.
- 10:54Yes, you never really have. I think the first holiday Lauren and
- 10:58I were like kind of officially gather was Valentine's Day, and so of course
- 11:01I went all out. We're trying to set the bar way too high.
- 11:05I mean, all out is relative considering now I don't give any gifts.
- 11:09It was pretty all out. Okay, Okay, so you did the chocolates,
- 11:11the flowers, the works. Yeah, bottle Oft tequila, I think
- 11:15really tequila. Well you know what they say makes her clothes fall off.
- 11:18Well, there's a guy who says that, Joe Nichols, Jesus, I
- 11:24apologize. I think alcohol in general. I don't know if it's so much
- 11:28tequila as it is just alcohol. All right. Well, nonetheless, there's
- 11:31a gift idea for you. The zoo they got down there in San Antonio,
- 11:35famous zoo. They have a candle available for Valentine's date. Now you're
- 11:39thinking, all a candle, okay, zoo. Sure. The scent of
- 11:43the candle, Amanda, is derived from the feces of the hippo they have
- 11:48there in the zoo. Now, put to put a name on it for
- 11:50you. His name is Timothy, and the poo of Timothy more of a
- 11:56connection with Timothy, got it? Now a name to the face, So
- 12:00like humanize with the candle. So the pooh of Timothy, I guess,
- 12:05and like the hippo world is super desirable. Basically that's how they lure their
- 12:09mates, the pheromones for you, you know, adults and stuff like that.
- 12:13Basically, yeah, yeah, So they're gonna make a candle out of
- 12:16that. So that's what it's gonna smell. Now, don't judge. Obviously
- 12:20it's human poo. I'd be like, yeah, but I don't know what
- 12:22it's smell. I don't know what Timothy's producing, which, if anything,
- 12:24would be kind of funny. That is just hilarious. If you've got yourself
- 12:26a goof ball of a significant other bike. I mean, Lawren just opens
- 12:31it. She's thinking, oh my gosh, I'm about to get put it
- 12:35in like a nice little beag. First, she's thinking, oh my gosh,
- 12:37this is the first gift I've gotten ten years. I can't wait to
- 12:43see what this is. That is funny, especially for both of us who
- 12:46aren't gift givers. You bring that home and you're like, honey, I
- 12:48got you a gift. That's hilarious. Absolutely, And we're just about out
- 12:52of our holiday scented candle, so it's about time to get a new one.
- 12:54Spice things up a bit now. This is also the zoo that's famous
- 12:58for doing the thing where you can one of their cockroaches after an ex that
- 13:01you don't care for, and they'll feed the cockroach to one of the animals.
- 13:05See. Now, that's hilarious. I feel like I might have been
- 13:07named a cockroach. You didn't people talk about you badly your exes. So
- 13:11there was one guy, he was one of my first boyfriends. His name
- 13:13is Ryan Davis. Well it called out, what's what's his phone number?
- 13:18Sixth grade we were hot and heavy, I mean Valentine's Day, he brought
- 13:22me a gift and I about died. It was a piece of jewelry,
- 13:26and I'm like, oh my gosh, it was this beautiful necklace. Except
- 13:31for my girlfriends and I were the mean girls laughing because we looked at it
- 13:35like is this in Like it looks like it was in Japanese, Like we
- 13:39could not figure out what it said. So it was a heart and it
- 13:43you could spin it, but you didn't really like, this is so ridiculous
- 13:46making fun of it. Oh my god. And then at recess he comes
- 13:50up to me because he left it by my locker and he's like, did
- 13:54you like the necklace? And my girlfriend's like, ahhh okay, whatever,
- 13:58yeah, horrible, horrible, And he comes up to my neck because I
- 14:01had it on my neck. Oh, and he gave it a little spin
- 14:05and when you spin it, it said XO XO. So it was like
- 14:09a three D kind of necklace, but of course we were just you look
- 14:13at it while it's hanging on your neck and you're going, well, the
- 14:16damage was done. I thought you could say watch up and ripped it off
- 14:18your neck, which my man should have No. This is why I'm feeling.
- 14:22We we hung in there, probably a few more weeks, but it
- 14:26was too much to get over. I don't think he was able to ever
- 14:28get over it. That's why I think if there was a cockroach, he's
- 14:31probably like Amanda Hoad down at San Antonio for the thirtieth year in a row,
- 14:37the first cockroach to go into the snake named Amanda Lee Amanda in the
- 14:41morning on Big seven, you have a small hill that you're willing to die
- 14:46on. You know, there's like big hills, big scale issues. We
- 14:50don't care about those. Well, you know what mine is. I feel
- 14:52that people only like mint ice cream because it's ice cream. It's not good,
- 14:58Okay, it's only k the good because it at its core is ice
- 15:01cream. Literally an It's ridiculous. Here. I'm thinking like, well,
- 15:07my beliefs are this gotcha? Gotcha? So we're going small hill because for
- 15:11me, the tiniest little ant hills you can sure you one thousand percent can
- 15:15put pineapple on pizza. It is the best with helapeno, that sweet,
- 15:18spicy, best way to happen. That's a little tiny hill. That's good.
- 15:22These are some of the other common small hills people are dying on a
- 15:24manda. If you use the term conversaint hubby or wifey, we will never
- 15:30be friends. And that one really really connected with me. Conversate. That's
- 15:35always confusing to me because the word would be converse, right if you and
- 15:39I think we don't conversate. It's confusing because conversation, you know. But
- 15:45hubby and wife wifey, uh, wifey gets me mainly just because I can't
- 15:50see many guys saying wify. I really just can't. Every once a while,
- 15:54like hubby, I think I'd probably type it out more than I would
- 15:58actually say it. Oh my god, my husband will out if I use
- 16:00any sort of word like that, he'll be don't ever say that igat you,
- 16:03Nick? What about this one? Somebody said that what the small hill
- 16:07they're willing to die on? When people make that stupid joke about charcuterie just
- 16:11being lunchables for adults, You ever heard somebody say that a lot of times?
- 16:15Yes, and there's so many memes about it. It's so much better
- 16:18than our old lunchabules. Well, let's not disrespect lunchibles, Mike, and
- 16:23let's be honest. There's some things with charcuterie boards that are really just not
- 16:26It's kind of like the mint ice cream. I think we're just pretending that
- 16:30they're good because we're told they're supposed to be. I guess it depends on
- 16:33what you're putting on it. Sometimes people create them to do whatever, Like
- 16:34we make snack charcouterie boards at our house. Yeah, we just put all
- 16:37your favorite goodies on there. Was it charcuterie? Then what? I think
- 16:41it just has to be on wood. I think it has to be on
- 16:42wood, and you can just whatever kind of magic you want to create on
- 16:47that wood is really what it's gonna be. You know, we put grapes,
- 16:51goat cheese. Sometimes goldfish will pop on there. I don't know you're
- 16:55telling me. I throw a little goat cheese on wood, and suddenly it's
- 16:59charcouterie. All right, if you get the right time, But don't forget
- 17:02a little bit of meat you gotta I don't know if you have it's a
- 17:04good question. Do you have to have like the meat cheese cracker all of
- 17:07it on there. I don't know if it's federal law. But back to
- 17:11the joke about it being an adult lunchable. I'm that way with just a
- 17:14lot of jokes that you see on the internet, like you'll never hear me.
- 17:15And I'm not saying I'm mister original, but once I see a joke
- 17:19made on the internet, like more than once, I'm like, I'm not
- 17:22going to use that. That's just stupid, unoriginal, much like I will
- 17:25never you'll never hear me say live in the dream. That's been I'll leave
- 17:27that to everybody else. I have heard that probably six times already this week
- 17:33and it's Tuesday in our office, just as people are walking about like,
- 17:36ah, how are you, I'll just live in the dream. In the
- 17:37dream, it could be serious so like everything's going well or very sarcastic.
- 17:41You never really how about this one Small Hills people are dying on the first
- 17:45annual not a thing because it would be just the annual or the first so
- 17:49an annual you gotta do it twice in order for it to be an annual.
- 17:53So we had an event and it was like, oh, it's the
- 17:56first annual, and I think you and I were both going, huh,
- 17:59how could it be that? Well, if you plan to do it again.
- 18:02I mean, it's just a way of letting people know that, Hey,
- 18:03just so you know, we're probably gonna do this again next year and
- 18:07maybe even the year after that. I don't mind it. It makes it.
- 18:11It spices up in events a little bit, right, instead of just
- 18:14saying the first just that extravaganza, you got yourself apart. Now you're talking
- 18:18about people are gonna be wandering around going, geez, we're gonna do this
- 18:21again next year or not. I don't know. It's hard to say.
- 18:22Uh, this is another small hill people are dying on, and I'm with
- 18:26this one. Boneless wings are just chicken nuggets. Oh that is so accurate,
- 18:30and I not they're not. It's not that they're not good. Like,
- 18:33well, I are you a bone in or a bone out? I'm
- 18:36always going to go bone in love just a traditional wing, because you know
- 18:37me, I like to like no thing. What I can't stand is like
- 18:41my husband comes after my bone afterwards, I'm like, I already ate the
- 18:45wing. No no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 18:47no, you don't even take the grizzle off of it. That's why I
- 18:49go boneless. Well, it's just disrespectful to the chicken. You know,
- 18:53we're gonna be sacrificing these animals. The least you could do is eat the
- 18:56whole thing, the entire thing. Absolutely. Yeah, that's like, what
- 18:59are ants, Sister's dead. They are just chicken nuggies basically in some sort
- 19:03of sauce. They're just a little crispier than a chicken nugget. Yeah,
- 19:06they're real good, though. Dunking of bw bww anybody call it that?
- 19:11Give me give me some give me a little bone, give me a little
- 19:15boneless Asian zing, dipped it, dunked it in ranch. Send that baby
- 19:18out for a swim in the ramps. What are you looking at? What
- 19:23are you looking at? You just took me on a journey with your boneless
- 19:26way the dream like get Amna in the morning, Hoddy points, Ananda stills,
- 19:33let's see looks see rat to buy JDP electric Shannon Doherty. She discussed
- 19:38the possibility of her death. She does have stage five cancer, and she
- 19:42spoke candidly with one of her friend's stage four excuse me it cancer, and
- 19:45she had talked about how you know, she knows that it's probably inevitable,
- 19:49and she wanted to talk about people going to her funeral, very open conversations.
- 19:56I remember before my mom died, we had a conversation and it will
- 19:59never I'll never forget it. She was laughing. She's like, I mean,
- 20:00do you think Harry Underwood would come and sing at my funeral? Just
- 20:03ridiculous conversations, Like you try to make it as lighthearted as possible, which
- 20:07is impossible to imagine. If that's you, totally, I imagine I would
- 20:11just be like crying the whole time, right, But it's amazing that she's
- 20:15able to get to the point to talk about it. But what she said,
- 20:18I love it. Listen, there's a lot of people that I think
- 20:21would show up that I don't want there because they don't actually really like me
- 20:26enough to show to my funeral. But they will because it's the politically correct
- 20:30thing to do and they don't want to look bad, and so I kind
- 20:33of want to take that pressure off of them. And I want my funeral
- 20:38to be like a love fest. I don't want people to be crying or
- 20:42people to privately being like thank God, that's good now, you know.
- 20:48I do like the fact that she says this is because there's been a lot
- 20:49of beef about some of the cast from Charmed and why that show ended.
- 20:53And then also you got to wonder, is there some people in nine or
- 20:56two mono that the cast maybe didn't all get along. It's like, hey,
- 21:00we know, like we know we don't like each other. Don't even
- 21:03just show up just to say, oh, well I was on a show
- 21:04with her. Yeah, I got there. He was there. Maddie,
- 21:07You're probably not gonna be able to attend mine if if I do go first,
- 21:10okay, because I've seen you at funerals even like I'm not good.
- 21:14It's it's not good, and it's not a it's not a good situation at
- 21:17all. I don't we'd have to put you in like a soundproof booth in
- 21:21the back of the church, because it's like sometimes people try to be funny.
- 21:25So I'm like laughing, crying, I can't not. I'm absolute disaster.
- 21:36There's gonna be a guest list at the door, there's gonna be a
- 21:37big bouncer. It says, I'm sorry, ma'am, no sorry, I
- 21:41can't let you in. You can live stream that one from your bed,
- 21:44ma'am. All right. There's been a lot of talk about The Office and
- 21:47the possibility of a reboot. Yesterday they said that they planned to get a
- 21:51group of writers together and they are gonna work on some possibilities and some show
- 21:56ideas. But then they went on to say, yeah, it be like
- 21:57a reboot, but nobody from the original Office would come back. It would
- 22:02just be a whole new place, except for it would take place in the
- 22:04same setting, like a whole new cat Light it on fire. It's so
- 22:07dumb. I hate these ideas, and they get people excited there. They
- 22:11try to That's all they're trying to do is just tease people to think that
- 22:15maybe it's, you know, Steve Carell coming back in the game, but
- 22:18never gonna happen, Never gonna happen. It's not. It's just a no,
- 22:21just a hard no, one of the harder nos. Same man.
- 22:25These celebrities, they've been busy and they've had award shows. That feels like
- 22:29every night for two weeks, right, I keep hitting refreshing. I'm like,
- 22:32wait, there's another one. Last night it was the Emmys, and
- 22:34I'm glad to actually tune in right before the football game because they did actually
- 22:38a cute little intro. Travis Barker was doing a little drum solo. Now
- 22:41that's a treat. It was. It was. And then the first presenter
- 22:45was Christina Applegate and she walked out and you just got goosebumps. Listen to
- 22:51the crowd, thank you so much. Oh my god, you're totally shaming
- 22:55me with disability by standing up. It's fine, Okay, So she battles
- 23:02with MS and so she I mean, there was a while she couldn't even
- 23:04really walk. She was in a wheelchair for a while, so they were
- 23:07helping her. She did a couple of award presentations. But at one time
- 23:11she looks and she's like, okay, guys, you don't have to cheer
- 23:14every time I talk. Yeah, so I need to feel so I need
- 23:15to feel insincere. Yeah, but you just forget all the shows that she
- 23:19was in, how popular she is. And that's another one. You're like,
- 23:22gosh's just so sad. It is sad to see what she's going through.
- 23:26But last night, on a happier note, Elton John won an Emmy
- 23:30for something you know, I don't know what, but that completed his the
- 23:33old egot thing where you win an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and a Tony
- 23:37Yeah, so that completed it. Do you have won an Emmy for oh
- 23:41Elton John? Yeah? What the heck is the Emmy's that? What?
- 23:45TV? Yeah? Was he on a TV show? I know? I
- 23:48started there. Well, did they have like a docu series or was he
- 23:49a part of like one of those shows? I did he do a song
- 23:52for a you know? I you know, this would have been good to
- 23:55look up before I went on and on about it. I'll be honest,
- 23:59maybe next and we do this, we'll talk. We'll have the information.
- 24:02You know. That's a great idea when we do talk about things, to
- 24:03have information for people. Give us a call if you have any idea what
- 24:08we're talking about, Like in a minute in the morning. Now here's what
- 24:12you need to know. Well, there's a hoax going around Ottertail Counties.
- 24:15Yesterday Fergus far As Public Schools went into a Code red lockdown because of phone
- 24:19did threats They've done into a couple of libraries, a couple of other schools.
- 24:23Police in Ottertail County Deputies and the State Troopers responded to the schools throughout
- 24:26the city. The distort decided to release students early. The whole thing is
- 24:30just icky all the way around. I hate that you got to waste all
- 24:33those resources on it, and obviously odds are it's a hoax, thankfully,
- 24:37but you still have to treat it as real. And you and I,
- 24:41you know, we both discussed earlier the bomb threats we experienced as children.
- 24:45You know, in an elementary school, you got to go across the street
- 24:48to the church. Terrifying for the kids, absolutely, And then you're thinking,
- 24:52am I far enough away? Like logistically speaking, here a big a
- 24:56bomber. We talking one hundred velers are a born a celebrity cruise ship,
- 25:00and they are sick with an aurovirus. And that is just an icky virus.
- 25:03That is the stomach bug that is going to get you, and it's
- 25:07gonna get you down. And I've seen only a few things like, for
- 25:10instance, the Titanic where you're just in this little cabin, do you have
- 25:14your own toilet in there? Well, they chain you to the pipe in
- 25:17the room, the handcut and Rose has to come and get you right.
- 25:21Well, that's the first that you have to get axed out of there,
- 25:22but no, it's what are you asking. I'm asking about the toilet situation.
- 25:26Do you used to a toilet, scared toilet or what's a regular sized
- 25:30toilet? It's a small bathroom because I remember the last cruise when we went
- 25:33on last summer. I remember sitting on the toilet and being able to like
- 25:37kind of put my legs up underneath the sink. You know, there's like
- 25:40a shelf, So like airplane. You wonder why I was putting my legs
- 25:42up, like, oh yeah, sure, well it's very effective for digestive
- 25:48sort of assists in the process. So like an airplane bathroom about that size,
- 25:52yeah, a little bigger, about the same. Oof. I just
- 25:55feel bad for all these people, I really do. You gotta feel bad,
- 25:57But hey, at least are on a cruise. If you're gonna be
- 26:00sick, might as well be in paradise. That's what they say. That's
- 26:07what they say. All right, Today is National Nothing Day. I'm sorry
- 26:11if it's your birthday or celebrating something today. According to what this observance,
- 26:15they created this day so Americans would be able to have one day that they
- 26:18just sit around without celebrating. All right, it's a holiday. But it's
- 26:22not a holiday, all right. It's good to have a day to do
- 26:23nothing. Although I feel I always feel a little guilt. I always try
- 26:27to you know, you know what I mean. You fantasize upon the day
- 26:30of doing nothing, but then like an hour into it, I'm like,
- 26:32Okay, I got to do something. I was about to take this quite
- 26:34literal as soon as I saw this was more And I'm like, can we
- 26:37just send an email to our boss and be like, you know, we
- 26:38didn't get MLK Day off? Do you think we could get National Nothing day
- 26:41off? That would be nice. Yeah, you just have nothing on the
- 26:45air for people to listen to. Just be this, no, hey,
- 26:48put it back on before we get in tribal an alarm goes off if it's
- 26:52quiet for too long
