- 0:01SPEAKER_00: Thank you for tuning in to propaganda with Mick and Jacob.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to the show.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: Sorry I had to I had to make a joke about that.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: I thought that was crazy.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: Do you guys see that?
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: Uh White House Press Secretary, Katie.
- 0:21SPEAKER_01: I saw it and I had to look away.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: I like I don't even know.
- 0:26SPEAKER_01: I saw it I knew I knew it was gonna be bad because people kept saying stuff about it.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: And she like can't talk and she can't form a sentence and she's not making sense and she's like reading the prompting and clues.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: It's like it was so funny.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: It's really bad.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: This administration's a joke.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: Everything down to the press secretary.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: I'm fine with some representation for blondes.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: We're gonna have DEI hires.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: There we go.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, except it's like it is a DEI hire.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: It's like Trump wants a blonde lady in there every time almost.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: It's kind of funny.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: But um this lady has no talent, I guess, or no ability.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: It's like really strange.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: Makes me Miss Caroline.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: But did you see that she gets she she got fired?
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: She she got fired.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: No, but she got fired after uh just like a week.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: Barely a week.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't even think it was a couple days.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: Good good riddance.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: I don't know who they're gonna do next, but it's such a dumb uh I don't even know.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: What do you what do you do with that?
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: It's like the president's like PR person, you know.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: And they're supposed to be really good with words so that they can kind of spin their way in and out of whatever.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: And she was like, do very good.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: What did she say?
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: She like read it and she's like, with enthusiasm and excitement.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: It was terrible.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: It's like, bro.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: She didn't even answer questions.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: That's a clue for you.
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: That's not what you're supposed to read out loud.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: That's your script, Katie.
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: That's pretty bad.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: So, anyway, there are massive protests and riots breaking out in France right now.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: No surprise.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: I feel like every year there's something new, and we always mention it.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: There's always every every year, every other, I don't know, there's like some kind of riot and protest.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: France loves their pri France loves their riots.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: Um, but okay, so why?
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: Well, the media will tell you that it's just innocent French students um and and they're protesting rising education costs and the poor um conditions that their schools are in.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: And it's, you know, now citizens are protesting the cost of living and they're mad at their government, and that's why they're destroying their cities and burning down their historical landmarks.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: But you know what?
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: You watch these videos and you go, you go, hmm, you know, as I'm watching this, I don't really see the French flag.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: I see a lot, I see a lot of foreign flags.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: I see the Palestinian flag, but I don't see the French flag.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: I don't see people demanding better for their country.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: I don't see Frenchmen waving their flags saying, no, no, this isn't right.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Um, I want something better.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: I don't really see French people at all.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: Um, and then you watch these crowds destroy French businesses, uh, small businesses, and sadly, they're burning down historical buildings and landmarks.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: I mean, these places have been part of uh France's history for 200 years, 150 years, and they're being burned to the ground.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: That does not sound like an angry crowd of Frenchmen that want to see their country do better, and they're just they're upset about the cost of living and they're protesting their government.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: That doesn't really it doesn't sound like students' rights or workers' rights or whatever they've been saying.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: Not really, it's not what it looks like at all.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: They're um their um their historic uh their town hall was set on fire, completely up in flames.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: The 143-year-old bell tower collapsed.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: This thing, I guess, survived both world wars, did not survive this.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: Well, if you guys know anything about history, France, there's a lot of fighting that took place in France in both world wars.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: So the fact that you can have something like this that survived that long that you know withstood two wars, you know, kind of in in pretty quick succession of each other, too.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: Like, but you know, an angry mob of like third world migrants takes it down.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: It's the destruction's real.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: Um no, everything's vandalized.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, everything's on fire.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: It's like BLM, but it's worse.
- 4:36SPEAKER_01: It's like if you haven't seen videos or pictures of it, you you gotta check it out because it's it's worse than BLM.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: It is there's more people, they're more violent.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: Whatever you're thinking, like times it by five, and that's what it is.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: They're not busting down the windows at the McDonald's, they're destroying a bell tower that's 150 years old.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: You know, it's like it's a little bit different.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: It's it's worse than BLM, I guess.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: And it just so no, this is not this is not French people demanding better of their government.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: These landmarks have been vandalized, there's graffiti on them, and then foreign flags are draped over them.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: A little weird, a little weird for students to do that want better education systems, or for uh, yeah, uh people that want, you know, their cost of living to go down.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: A little odd.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: I don't know if I would go protest, you know, in the streets and then like wave Australia's flag and drape it over the Statue of Liberty.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, this will show them.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: This is gonna show my government that I want better education.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: I don't know, a little weird.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: But that's what the media will tell you is that that's that's what's really happening.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: Don't worry, guys.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: If this happens every year, you know the French, they love their rights, they have the right to protest.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: You know them.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: Um, but the problem is it's it's not just French people, it's really not them at all.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: Maybe it started out as that.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: I think it did back in September.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: It really did start out as students, allegedly.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: But now it's just turned into this giant they love to call it the melting pot.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: I'll call it the melting pot.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: Melting pot of people and cultures just destroying France.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: Okay, I want to make a distinction here because the left-wing narrative is saying that it's these students, it's poor people, it's workers, it's you know, young kids out there.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: Jean Vaujean.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: Okay, wanting his bread.
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: It's the yeah, the miserables or whatever.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: That's what the left says.
- 6:34SPEAKER_01: The establishment, right, like Fox News, now, like more so Daily Wire, places like that, they're gonna say this is Muslims, it's Muslims, it's Muslims, it's it's all these, it's it's Islamic extremists, it's Muslims.
- 6:46SPEAKER_01: And they're both wrong.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: Yes, there's some young kids, yes, there's some maybe student age, worker-age people.
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: I don't think that's what it's about.
- 6:55SPEAKER_01: Yes, there's lots of Muslims.
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: There's lots of Palestinian flags, lots of um Middle Eastern flags I've seen, you know, that's true too.
- 7:03SPEAKER_01: The biggest thing though is that they're third world immigrants that are incompatible with the Western civilization that we've built.
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: So it doesn't really matter what they're fighting for.
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: Doesn't even matter as much if they're Islamic or not Islamic or not religious at all.
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: It matters the fact that they are from a third world country, a hellhole, that they would apparently rather be in based off the flags they're flying, but they are incompatible with Western civilization.
- 7:26SPEAKER_01: And Muslims are incompatible, Muslims are incompatible with Western civilization, that's true.
- 7:31SPEAKER_01: But the right just kind of says, like, oh, it's this blanket Muslims are in some people, to be fair, some people will say, yeah, it's the third world, it's it's these migrants, it's these people from Africa.
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 7:42SPEAKER_01: They will say that.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: But I've noticed a lot is just blaming it on the fact that these guys are Muslims.
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: And it's like, sure, a lot of them are Muslims, but it's a lot more than that.
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: It's the very fact that these people, whether they're from the Middle East or Africa, doesn't matter, north, south, central, it doesn't matter, they are not compatible with what France built, with what France was, with who lives in France.
- 8:00SPEAKER_01: Obviously not.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: They're not compatible in France, they're not compatible in Germany, they're not even compatible over here for the most part.
- 8:06SPEAKER_01: When they come over here and don't assimilate, it's obviously not gonna work.
- 8:09SPEAKER_01: Uh, when they have no respect for you or your faith, your family, or your language, they don't even respect us respect you enough to speak your language.
- 8:16SPEAKER_01: Obviously, it's never gonna work.
- 8:18SPEAKER_01: So, this is another demonstration where you have these poor low IQ retards from Africa, from the Middle East, coming to a beautiful hundreds of year old civilization built by artists, built by engineers, built by geniuses that you and I can't even comprehend, that have built something to the last and have created a culture and society and a country over there in France.
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: They're coming over there and having no respect, no appreciation.
- 8:42SPEAKER_01: They're doing, they're just destroying it, they're erasing it, they're doing whatever they can to subvert it, you know.
- 8:48SPEAKER_01: That that's that's what we're dealing with here.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: So Europe does have a Muslim problem, that's for sure true.
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: But this is I think this is less even about the mean Muslim and more about where they come from and who they are.
- 9:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so and if you want to say that, oh, that's because of their Islamic faith, sure.
- 9:05SPEAKER_01: But I I think it's uh it's it's more than just their faith.
- 9:09SPEAKER_01: Let's just say that.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: So yeah, no, they have no respect for European values, their culture.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's as simple as that.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: And it's important to talk about too because I'm sick of being gassed at all the time, like you said, by each side, too.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: It's it's all oh, guys, calm down.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: It's the French people, they just want better education and they want better, you know, uh living costs.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: And then it's like, oh, but it's all these Muslims, look at these Muslims, let's just point the finger at them and only the Muslims, they're the cancer to society, let's get rid of all of them.
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: And it's like, yeah, but also I think there's another story here.
- 9:40SPEAKER_01: It's like I see the Palestinian flags, I also see a lot of black teenagers in ski masks.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: It's like, I don't think they're necessarily Islamic, right?
- 9:48SPEAKER_01: The towel heads are, but the black guys in the ski masks and the Nike, like, you know, they're okay.
- 9:54SPEAKER_01: I don't think they're Muslim.
- 9:55SPEAKER_01: Okay, there's something different going on there.
- 9:56SPEAKER_01: So I think you gotta point that out.
- 10:00SPEAKER_01: I yeah.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: And it's also important for us to talk about here in the United States, you know, why do we care what's happening over in France right now, right?
- 10:09SPEAKER_00: Because we can see where this mass import of people can lead to.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: And it's already started here.
- 10:17SPEAKER_00: Like you said, it looks very similar to BLM riots.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: And those people weren't even, that wasn't even really an immigration problem.
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: We know what that problem was, right?
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: It's people are not compatible again with our values and Western civilization.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: They don't want to assimilate and they don't want the same things you and I do.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: No, yeah, and we can see the level that Europe now as a whole is at and what it looks like.
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: It's not just France.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: Take a good look at London and what that looks like.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: Do you see?
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: Did you see that one video of this like um where was I think it was London?
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: And it was this like old woman in her home, and she was looking out her window in the streets of London.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: Have you seen this?
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: I think I've seen it.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: And it's just this old white lady, and she's looking out in the streets of her home.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: She's probably been there.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: Her family's probably been there for how many years, hundreds of years, and it's literally, it's like, it's like no one that looks like her.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: No English people, no one that's speaking English, no one that looks like they even came from her same neighborhood.
- 11:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's sad.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: And it's sad.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: It's sad when you've been in a place for hundreds of years and no one looks like you anymore, and no one even shares the same values, culture, religion, anything.
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: And everyone that is like you is selling you out.
- 11:37SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 11:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's the ultimate betrayal.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: And again, because people get mad because for some reason when it's white and brown or white and black, that's when people have an issue.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: I would be advocating and saying the same thing if it was happening over in Japan.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: If Japanese people were looking out their window and they saw no one that looked like them, no one that honored and respected their culture and their civilization that they built up, yeah.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: That's a problem too.
- 12:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: I would be advocating for the same thing over there if it was happening and it's not because they actually like want to keep their um their culture and they respect it.
- 12:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: But we can't become like Europe and we can't let that happen.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: It really already has, but we can't let it get to that level.
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: I think we can hold on a little longer.
- 12:23SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: We'll see, but we have to keep talking about it and we have to be aware that that is what it leads to.
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and it's important to make distinctions about who it is and what's actually going on too.
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: So it's just interesting.
- 12:34SPEAKER_01: Like beware of who points out what.
- 12:38SPEAKER_01: And certain sides, certain media companies, certain people, they'll point out certain things and they won't kind of talk about the other thing, you know?
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: They'll talk about the third world thing, but they won't talk about where these people come from.
- 12:49SPEAKER_01: They'll talk about the religion thing, but they won't really talk about how they're just kind of a low IQ bunch of people from a different continent, you know.
- 12:57SPEAKER_01: They so just beware what people tell you who to hate.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, there's a there's a reason.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: There's there's always a there's always one villain, and it is interesting.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: It's usually kind of a combination.
- 13:09SPEAKER_01: All right, we're back.
- 13:09SPEAKER_01: We only have two more weeks of this, right?
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh, yeah.
- 13:13SPEAKER_01: Stirring the pot.
- 13:14SPEAKER_01: Is that right?
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we call it storing the pot.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: I'm saying we only have two more weeks, I think.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: I used um sticky notes, so it's kind of sticky.
- 13:25SPEAKER_01: That's a great idea.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: Oh, wait, I like this one.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: I because I I I think we are gonna disagree.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: Question of the day.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: Is your spouse supposed to be your best friend?
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: Look at his smile.
- 13:40SPEAKER_01: Well, well, well.
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: Um I I say yeah.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: You're gonna say no.
- 13:47SPEAKER_00: You're gonna have some complicated, well, technically.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: Um, I don't think it's complicated.
- 13:51SPEAKER_01: I think I think your spouse is the person who knows you the best, you hang out with them the most, you trust them the most, you love them the most, your whole heart, you you've confided in them the most out of anyone else in your entire world, that's your spouse.
- 14:07SPEAKER_01: But I think your best friend it's different.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: How how would that not be your best friend?
- 14:15SPEAKER_01: Because you're thinking of it on the wrong, you're thinking of it the wrong way.
- 14:19SPEAKER_01: If you have your girlfriend, or I have one of my guy best friends, you know, it's a different relationship than you and I have.
- 14:25SPEAKER_01: You're my wife, I'm your husband, we're married.
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: It's like automatically it's on a uh different level than friends.
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: And I I don't just mean like, oh, categorically, like, oh, she's not my best friend, she's my wife.
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: I mean like your spouse is everyone, or sorry, your spouse is everything to you, you know, they should be everything to you, but I think you should have a friend, and I think you should have a best friend, and I think it's a different circumstance.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: You're saying the spouse is even just above best friend.
- 14:54SPEAKER_01: What do you mean?
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: Yes, they maybe they've even graduated from best friend category.
- 14:59SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm saying that, but I'm also saying it's important to have a best friend.
- 15:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I think have, you know, your your siblings or your family or your best friend, you know, your childhood friend.
- 15:06SPEAKER_01: Like, I think it's important to have those things.
- 15:08SPEAKER_01: So no, no, no.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: I would agree that you would want like a best friend that isn't your spouse, but I think you can have I'm your best friend, but we're not gonna go to the mall and shop around.
- 15:17SPEAKER_01: You're my best friend, but we're not gonna go out and like watch football and go shooting, you know?
- 15:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like it's different.
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: You have a friend.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: So you have friends that you hang out with and like to do things with, yeah.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: Like it's important for you to have guy time, it's important for me to have girl time, like you said.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I think like at the end of the day, it comes when it comes down to it, we're each other's best friend.
- 15:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 15:37SPEAKER_01: If you want to say it like the most simple way, like, oh, you're my best friend.
- 15:43SPEAKER_01: But I'm saying I think it's a different, I think I think it's a different thing.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: I even think like before you were even spouses, though, who was your best friend?
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: I think it should be your future spouse.
- 15:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: I think you're at one point in time we were best friends.
- 15:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: You're my one person I always wanted to do everything with, and same, like vice versa.
- 16:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: Like I I think the best relationships are built on the other.
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: But it's a different type of relationship than it would be with your friend.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: So like it's almost like different relationships.
- 16:10SPEAKER_01: Best friend level.
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: It's almost like you've graduated best friend and now you're just spouse, and that's like kind of built in.
- 16:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's I think.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: I'm your best friend, right?
- 16:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:21SPEAKER_01: It's a built-in, it's built-in.
- 16:24SPEAKER_01: It's a built-in friend.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: Best friend.
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: Best friend.
- 16:30SPEAKER_01: I hope I'm explaining that right.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: Because it's like No, I you are.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: I get what you're saying.
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: But I think that's I don't know.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: I consider you my best friend.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: Because some You're not funny.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: No, I'm not saying because when I think of a best friend, I think of someone that I would trust with everything and anything.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: Not necessarily just people that I would do uh hobbies with activities with that.
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 17:01SPEAKER_01: I'm saying like that is a friend is more than like a hobby friend.
- 17:04SPEAKER_01: But I'm saying there's a difference between having this best friend that you can go to, you know, this guy or this girl that you can go to, and there's a difference between that person and, or if that's your sibling or whoever, you know, there's a difference between that and your spouse.
- 17:20SPEAKER_01: I'm saying your spouse is not competing with your best friend.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: There's not like this, like no, no, it is.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: You don't have to compete for attention with my best friend, and I don't have to compete for attention with your best friend because we just come first, no matter what.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: Like, did you marry your maid of honor or did you marry me?
- 17:37SPEAKER_01: You married me, but who's your maid of honor?
- 17:40SPEAKER_01: Your best friend.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 17:43SPEAKER_01: Is that was that does that make that make sense at all?
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: It does, yeah, it does.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: But I just almost think like every all the characteristics I have in my best friend, you are that, but even better.
- 17:54SPEAKER_00: So that just makes you like like best best best friend.
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, best best best best friend.
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, almost like a spouse or a husband or a you know soul partner for life.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: Almost like that.
- 18:11SPEAKER_01: But sure, best, best, best friend.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: Best best friend.
- 18:14SPEAKER_01: That's what I'm trying to say though.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: I get it.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: All right, well, you agree?
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: Yes and no.
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: I would still call you my best friend, though.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: But I guess it's kind of but see that's the thing.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: We think it's built in.
- 18:33SPEAKER_00: We think like your spouse is your best friend, duh, right?
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: But but that's not really the case.
- 18:37SPEAKER_01: That's true with everyone, yeah.
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know what I mean?
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like a lot of women, a lot of men, they're in these marriages that they just they kind of hate their spouse.
- 18:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:45SPEAKER_01: And they're just waiting to get away for so then it's like, no, you're you're definitely not their best friend then.
- 18:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:50SPEAKER_01: If you don't like even get along with them, right?
- 18:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, I know what you mean.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: So is your so the question is, is your spouse supposed to be your best friend?
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: Yes, I think you're supposed to marry your best friend that is the opposite gender.
- 19:06SPEAKER_01: See, they're competing then.
- 19:08SPEAKER_01: So the best friend of the same gender competing with the best friend of the opposite.
- 19:15SPEAKER_01: No, I know what you mean.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: You're supposed to marry the person that you can spend the your entire life with.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: Like, and you can't you can't do that.
- 19:24SPEAKER_00: Like, sexual attraction only goes so far.
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: You have to have compatibility, the same humor.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: It has to be your best friend.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: You have to enjoy doing things together.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: You like, I don't know.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know what I mean?
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like that is your best friend.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: You guys enjoy hanging out.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you want to hang out with this person because eventually you're gonna be 83 and you can't do anything but sit on the couch.
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: You know, and play video games with my best friend, which would be me.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: So I guess I'm looking at it through a lens of culture as a whole.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: A lot of people don't marry their best friend.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: A lot of people don't even date someone that they like.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: It's just kind of like, oh, you're hot, and all right, let's do this.
- 20:05SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 20:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: So I'm kind of looking at a lens through that.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: Are you supposed to like is your spouse supposed to be?
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: I guess because, say, one of your best friends.
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they are.
- 20:16unknown: Yeah.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: But then I think you can have your own best friends.
- 20:18SPEAKER_01: They are your relationship, it's the ultimate relationship.
- 20:21SPEAKER_01: It's the best relationship, the perfect relationship, the best relationship.
- 20:24SPEAKER_01: I don't know how to say it, you know.
- 20:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but it's a different level than a friend, than the best friend.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: I like that too.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: I get what you're saying with that.
- 20:30SPEAKER_01: Well, we'll have to, we kind of agree.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 20:34SPEAKER_01: That's a tough one.
- 20:36SPEAKER_01: All right.
