Latest / Inside the Birds: A Philadelphia Eagles Podcast / ITB: How Quickly Can Zach Ertz Make An Impact For Eagles Offense?
Transcript
- 0:10Speaker 1: Inside the Birds.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Is back.
- 0:13Speaker 1: What's going on? It is Jeff Mosher. It is Adam Kaplan.
- 0:17Speaker 1: We're in the middle of the week leading up to
- 0:20Speaker 1: the Eagles week three matchup against the Chicago Bears. That's
- 0:22Speaker 1: on Monday night. And so we've got some signings to
- 0:26Speaker 1: talk about for the Eagles as they try to improve
- 0:29Speaker 1: a little bit their personnel where they are thin, Adam.
- 0:32Speaker 1: And of course, the Bears are all banged up. And
- 0:35Speaker 1: we're also going to get a little bit about the
- 0:36Speaker 1: Eagles on first down in their run game. just really
- 0:39Speaker 1: been atrocious through two weeks. But really interesting, Adam, the
- 0:44Speaker 1: moves that the Eagles are starting to make here, big
- 0:47Speaker 1: one being Zach Ertz to the practice squad as they
- 0:50Speaker 1: find out Dallas Goddard's going to be sidelined several weeks
- 0:53Speaker 1: because of a knee sprain.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Do you remember us.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Saying that they're living dangerously at tight end because if
- 0:59Speaker 1: Dallas Goddard.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Gets hurt, they're screwed? Yeah, and here we are. I
- 1:03Speaker 2: don't want to jinx anyone, but we talked about it
- 1:04Speaker 2: in August a lot. To the point I was like,
- 1:07Speaker 2: all right, you know, we better stop talking about this.
- 1:09Speaker 2: It's enough already. And then it happens. Yeah, look, Zach
- 1:13Speaker 2: is 35 years old, coming off his second ACL reconstruction
- 1:15Speaker 2: in four years. I know he had been working out.
- 1:19Speaker 2: He's feeling great. Everything I've heard sounds like he's going
- 1:22Speaker 2: to be able to be available relatively soon. Not ruling
- 1:25Speaker 2: out Monday night. Can't play a lot of snaps coming up.
- 1:28Speaker 2: And you can't ask him to do that. That would
- 1:29Speaker 2: not be smart. But they need someone like they've got.
- 1:35Speaker 2: I mean, honestly, they just have block– they have two
- 1:36Speaker 2: wide tight ends. Actually, they have three if you count
- 1:39Speaker 2: Josiah DeGuara, who's the– as we talked about last week,
- 1:42Speaker 2: who's just a wide. If you think Johnny Mung can't move,
- 1:45Speaker 2: this guy can move less. So, I mean, then you've
- 1:49Speaker 2: got Zach, who's a supreme pass catcher, but he's not
- 1:52Speaker 2: going to get past seven or eight yards. But you
- 1:54Speaker 2: know what? He gets open. Right. He knows how to
- 1:57Speaker 2: get open. Talking to people who were with him with Washington,
- 2:00Speaker 2: incredible leader. They loved having him. But, you know, they
- 2:04Speaker 2: made a decision to go get Chigokonko. So that kind
- 2:07Speaker 2: of eliminated Zach because they already had two other tight ends.
- 2:11Speaker 2: So they're, look, they need Zach. Like as soon as
- 2:14Speaker 2: he can play, if it's 20 snaps, fine. You need
- 2:17Speaker 2: someone who could play tight end, who could catch the football.
- 2:21Speaker 2: That's where they're at. Right.
- 2:22Speaker 1: So it's almost a different issue though. They need Zach
- 2:26Speaker 1: because they need, a body at that position who can play,
- 2:30Speaker 1: who knows the, I mean, it's perfect. He'll help the
- 2:32Speaker 1: offense in that regard, especially without Dallas Goddard, because they
- 2:35Speaker 1: don't have any pass catching tight ends. So for the
- 2:38Speaker 1: long haul, especially for as long as Goddard's going to
- 2:41Speaker 1: be out, that's a good thing. Even if we don't,
- 2:44Speaker 1: we can't expect Zachary, like you just said, 35 years old,
- 2:47Speaker 1: two knee surgeries, no OTA, no training camp, what couple
- 2:51Speaker 1: of days of ramp up. I mean, Mike, I'm almost
- 2:54Speaker 1: surprised if he does play at all Monday, no matter
- 2:56Speaker 1: what shape he's in, because that's almost dangerous.
- 2:59Speaker 2: But we'll see.
- 3:00Speaker 1: But for the short term, it doesn't make their run game,
- 3:04Speaker 1: their first down offense any better. Because even if they
- 3:08Speaker 1: wanted to pass the ball a little bit more on
- 3:09Speaker 1: first down, again, he's not going to be out there
- 3:12Speaker 1: playing 65, 75% of the snaps to help in that regard.
- 3:15Speaker 1: They have lived more heavily in 11 personnel through two
- 3:19Speaker 1: weeks than we thought because of this situation. And they
- 3:22Speaker 1: will have to continue to do so until things get
- 3:25Speaker 1: ironed out. So it's a good, sensible signing. And clearly
- 3:29Speaker 1: this was in the works even before Goddard got hurt
- 3:32Speaker 1: because Goddard getting hurt doesn't help them.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Zach Hurts doesn't help them Monday night. Honestly, yeah, there
- 3:38Speaker 2: was no doubt Hurts was going to be an eagle.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I just didn't think it would be this soon. But
- 3:42Speaker 2: the Goddard situation, we talked about this in August. They
- 3:45Speaker 2: are in dire straits if Goddard got hurt in terms
- 3:47Speaker 2: of a pass catch we tied in. Now, something we
- 3:49Speaker 2: have not talked about, I thought about it. You mentioned
- 3:53Speaker 2: 11 personnel. I'm going to take this a step further.
- 3:56Speaker 2: And I didn't see a lot of 10 personnel, which
- 3:58Speaker 2: is four receivers, one back, no tight end in training camp.
- 4:00Speaker 2: But you know what? Look, they don't have A.J. Brown. Fine.
- 4:05Speaker 2: But you know what? Darius Cooper could play. He's been
- 4:08Speaker 2: a great story. He's more or less their fourth receiver.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Lemon is their slot receiver. He's got to play. First-round pick,
- 4:15Speaker 2: he's healthy. He's a little bit behind mentally because he
- 4:17Speaker 2: missed a lot of time. But he knows how to play.
- 4:20Speaker 2: He'll get better. Hollywood Brown can run, okay? They got
- 4:23Speaker 2: to get this guy in the game. They're paying him
- 4:25Speaker 2: $ 5 million to catch the football downfield. They got to
- 4:26Speaker 2: do that. And Elijah Moore they have. So why the
- 4:29Speaker 2: hell can they not play 10 personnel? I'm not saying, like,
- 4:32Speaker 2: let's put it this way. When Sean McVay shocked the world,
- 4:35Speaker 2: because he did it, because when he played 13 personnel,
- 4:39Speaker 2: they had no depth at receiver. Okay, none. He's like, okay, well,
- 4:43Speaker 2: then we're going to have to go with more tight ends. Well,
- 4:46Speaker 2: they don't have much at tight end. They have just
- 4:48Speaker 2: guys who can block, plus a 35-year-old guy coming off
- 4:51Speaker 2: get another knee surgery, go 10 personnel. You can do this.
- 4:54Speaker 2: So why not spread everybody out? Okay. And by the way,
- 4:58Speaker 2: you can run out of 10 personnel. There's no law
- 5:00Speaker 2: that says you can't do that. I'm not saying playing
- 5:02Speaker 2: a lot, but has it changed up? Play some 10 personnel.
- 5:06Speaker 1: That's an option. I mean, yes, you leave yourself a
- 5:08Speaker 1: little vulnerable with smaller people, but it certainly can be done.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Especially if you want to try to stretch the field
- 5:16Speaker 1: a little bit more. I would also say, I wouldn't
- 5:20Speaker 1: be surprised if you saw more Darius Cooper because he's
- 5:22Speaker 1: a bigger, stronger guy and they used him to, you know,
- 5:25Speaker 1: last year before he got hurt. And then when he
- 5:27Speaker 1: came back as a slot, you know, the old Johnny
- 5:30Speaker 1: Wilson role, right. A dirty work slot receiver role who
- 5:34Speaker 1: can block a little bit. So that can help you
- 5:36Speaker 1: there because the reality is you can't live too much
- 5:39Speaker 1: in 10, right. You can, you can add it, but
- 5:41Speaker 1: you can't live in it.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:42Speaker 1: It's a change up, but you can, if you want
- 5:44Speaker 1: to run out of 11, you want a good blocker
- 5:47Speaker 1: from the slot. And to me right now, that's not,
- 5:50Speaker 1: but it could be Darius Cooper.
- 5:53Speaker 2: But Greg Cosell did tell us that from what he
- 5:56Speaker 2: had heard, Wicks is a terrific blocker from the Packers game. Now,
- 6:00Speaker 2: we haven't really seen that yet. And my goodness, they
- 6:04Speaker 2: need it badly because their run game is... I've learned
- 6:07Speaker 2: my lesson with training camp. Be careful what you see.
- 6:11Speaker 2: You could say, hey, we only go by what we see,
- 6:12Speaker 2: what we know, what we hear, but I cannot believe
- 6:15Speaker 2: how bad the run game is. I understand... They've got
- 6:17Speaker 2: issues on the interior of the offensive line. They've got
- 6:19Speaker 2: the big change with Dickerson hurt. Cam's coming off his
- 6:24Speaker 2: injuries last year. He's healthy now. But they've got to
- 6:27Speaker 2: run better. This is just ridiculous. I mean, when you
- 6:30Speaker 2: get a lead, you've got to be able to put
- 6:32Speaker 2: teams away. And that's another thing we haven't really talked about.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Can they put teams away with a run game? I
- 6:36Speaker 2: don't know about that.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I mean, you can't put teams away with a run
- 6:40Speaker 1: game if, A, you're not taking any big leads, which
- 6:43Speaker 1: they haven't done yet, and B, you can't even establish
- 6:49Speaker 1: the run on first down the way they've been trying
- 6:52Speaker 1: to do. You know, they had almost as many runs
- 6:55Speaker 1: out of 12 personnel as they did 11 personnel against
- 6:58Speaker 1: the Titans, but they played 12 personnel far fewer. So
- 7:01Speaker 1: they were clearly trying with two tight ends. So what
- 7:04Speaker 1: does that also tell you? Because I watched every single run.
- 7:08Speaker 1: It tells me, and I saw it, Johnny Muntz is
- 7:11Speaker 1: not doing a great job either. He's on the ground
- 7:13Speaker 1: a lot, Adam. I mean, he's a good blocker for
- 7:15Speaker 1: what he's asked to do. And I get it. The
- 7:18Speaker 1: Titans defensive front was faster and more physical than week one.
- 7:22Speaker 1: But he's leaving his feet, trying to lunge it. It
- 7:25Speaker 1: almost seemed like as the game went on and the
- 7:29Speaker 1: blocking really struggled, guys were trying to do things out
- 7:31Speaker 1: of their order just to get their bodies on players.
- 7:34Speaker 1: And that works against you. I've been a little disappointed
- 7:37Speaker 1: with Munt blocking. I don't remember as much against the Commanders,
- 7:40Speaker 1: but against the Titans, he was not very good.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I would say this on what you just said about Munt.
- 7:43Speaker 2: There's a reason why the Jaguars cut him.
- 7:45Speaker 1: That's a great reason.
- 7:46Speaker 2: We have to understand that. The team system woke up
- 7:48Speaker 2: the next morning and said, let's cut the guy. They
- 7:49Speaker 2: have a reason for it. They didn't think he could
- 7:51Speaker 2: help them anymore. That's true. He's a West Coast offensive blocker.
- 7:56Speaker 2: He's a specialist. That's the only scheme he's played in
- 7:57Speaker 2: his entire career. We're going to learn more about it.
- 8:01Speaker 2: It's only two games. The passing game has been phenomenal.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I am so blown away. by what the way it looks,
- 8:07Speaker 2: I know the schedule is going to get harder. We'll get,
- 8:08Speaker 2: we'll get in more to, before we get out of here,
- 8:11Speaker 2: we'll give you a couple of notes on the bear.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Secondary is severely banged up. They got a lot of
- 8:14Speaker 2: injury problems on defense. Yep. I'll tell you what, Dennis
- 8:17Speaker 2: Allen's a hell of a coach. He is a, he
- 8:19Speaker 2: is a phenomenal coach. He's kind of like, like if
- 8:22Speaker 2: you looked at Jesse Minter was with the charge, you're like,
- 8:24Speaker 2: how the hell is he doing this? They're not very talented. Right.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Jesse Mitchell leaves and it looks like crap. Yep. You know,
- 8:30Speaker 2: it's more than they have offensive line problems and charges, but, um, To.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Your point real quick, if you want to find some
- 8:36Speaker 1: of the NFL's best combination play callers, offense and defense,
- 8:40Speaker 1: NFC North, between Ben Johnson and Dennis Allen, between O'Connell
- 8:45Speaker 1: and Brian Flores, who just completely emasculated the Bears right
- 8:50Speaker 1: after that. Come on, it was raining. No, it was
- 8:52Speaker 1: raining and they were on their backup. But they were
- 8:54Speaker 1: losing before Caleb Williams got hurt. But I'm telling you,
- 8:58Speaker 1: those guys, I mean, again, the Vikings got some of
- 9:00Speaker 1: the worst quarterback play you ever saw last year and
- 9:02Speaker 1: they still went nine and eight. So there's some really
- 9:04Speaker 1: good play callers in that division.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Yeah. And then there's Detroit who's just completely fallen off.
- 9:08Speaker 2: They got, yeah, the two starting safeties have been out
- 9:12Speaker 2: to branch and Kirby Joseph and it's killed them.
- 9:15Speaker 1: And yeah, Maddox just got hurt too.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Who's that?
- 9:18Speaker 1: Maddox was playing. Yeah.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Poor guy. Great guy. It's a shame. But finishing this
- 9:25Speaker 2: off here in terms of the big outlook. So you,
- 9:28Speaker 2: you know, you saw the tape, you're talking about all 22. Yeah.
- 9:31Speaker 2: We'll get Greg on that. We'll make sure we look
- 9:32Speaker 2: at that after this game. We're going to focus more
- 9:36Speaker 2: on the run game because we've blown up the pass
- 9:38Speaker 2: game for two weeks.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Right.
- 9:40Speaker 2: After the game, after this game, when we do Inside
- 9:42Speaker 2: the Tape next week, we'll focus more on the run
- 9:44Speaker 2: game because this is... We'll see, obviously, how it does
- 9:46Speaker 2: against Chicago. But it's to the point now. We may
- 9:53Speaker 2: have just a success. It's just very average, if below average.
- 9:56Speaker 2: I mean, it's just over season now.
- 9:58Speaker 1: So you're, you're walking me into the point I was
- 10:00Speaker 1: going to make. I watched, I didn't watch every single running.
- 10:03Speaker 1: It's times I watched about 75%, the first, like, I
- 10:05Speaker 1: don't know, 15 to 18. And I took notes and
- 10:08Speaker 1: I found myself saying, Oh, you know, months on the ground,
- 10:11Speaker 1: Goddard's on the ground. Obviously Juergens had some struggles. He
- 10:14Speaker 1: doesn't angle, you know, like when you're, combo blocking like
- 10:18Speaker 1: Juergens will combo block with Kendall right on a three
- 10:20Speaker 1: technique and then he's got to come off and take
- 10:22Speaker 1: the linebacker shooting the gap you know he used to
- 10:25Speaker 1: be so good at pivoting we would point that out
- 10:27Speaker 1: two years ago and taking that guy he looks a
- 10:29Speaker 1: little slower now that whether that's body decay or new
- 10:33Speaker 1: position I don't know I'm just just seeing what I
- 10:35Speaker 1: saw on tape obviously there were times Kendall really struggled
- 10:39Speaker 1: against Simmons it's gonna happen but like my point was
- 10:42Speaker 1: And there were two Barkley runs when healthy where he
- 10:46Speaker 1: did the double foot tap as he's getting the ball
- 10:48Speaker 1: looking because it doesn't look perfectly clean, right? And when
- 10:53Speaker 1: you do that, you let the defense converge and a
- 10:57Speaker 1: couple of linemen got put on the ground because he waited.
- 10:59Speaker 1: So it's a total thing. It's not just one person.
- 11:03Speaker 1: But to your point, the biggest thing I think I noticed, Adam,
- 11:07Speaker 1: having watching tape for years now is they just don't
- 11:10Speaker 1: move people off the ball like they used to. They
- 11:14Speaker 1: don't reset the line of scrimmage. Even 23, 22, yeah,
- 11:18Speaker 1: 24 was the king of it. And obviously they had
- 11:21Speaker 1: huge linemen on the interior when they had Becton and
- 11:24Speaker 1: they had Dickerson. But even before they had Becton in
- 11:27Speaker 1: 23 and 22, they could run the ball. They could
- 11:29Speaker 1: reset the line of scrimmage. I just don't see that
- 11:32Speaker 1: happening right now.
- 11:34Speaker 2: What I would tell us also with Barkley is understand
- 11:36Speaker 2: something that he is not really played in a scheme
- 11:38Speaker 2: like this.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Right.
- 11:40Speaker 2: In a one cut, get go and go. You've got
- 11:43Speaker 2: to see, you got to read it and you got
- 11:45Speaker 2: to go.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Right. He doesn't trust it. He looks like someone right
- 11:48Speaker 1: now is looking for it, but doesn't trust it.
- 11:51Speaker 2: You brought this up. Hell, you brought this up in
- 11:53Speaker 2: like April or March when we started really getting into
- 11:55Speaker 2: what we knew about the scheme. And here we are.
- 11:58Speaker 2: And our time Bixby looks good in it. I mean,
- 12:00Speaker 2: he says they got to figure this, this run game
- 12:02Speaker 2: out as we move on here. But, Yeah, so Zach's
- 12:05Speaker 2: in here. They did release Gabe Hall to make room
- 12:08Speaker 2: for him. Poor Gabe. They don't really need any more
- 12:11Speaker 2: defensive tackles. I'll say this about their defense. I know
- 12:14Speaker 2: people are disappointed with it. Their tackle group is phenomenal.
- 12:17Speaker 2: I mean, if this is not the best group of
- 12:19Speaker 2: D-tackles in the NFL, I don't know what is.
- 12:21Speaker 1: It sure is. I mean, because I would imagine Gabe
- 12:24Speaker 1: Hall will find some work somewhere.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Well, maybe they'll come back. You know how they do it.
- 12:27Speaker 2: They do the tango.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, that's a good point.
- 12:30Speaker 2: That's a good point.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:32Speaker 2: And then the other one, which I found fascinating, and
- 12:35Speaker 2: we'll get into the Kenny Moore one because Vic Fangio
- 12:37Speaker 2: is so funny. And was it Wednesday's press conference? Yeah.
- 12:42Speaker 2: I mean, if you listen to Vic, it sounds like
- 12:43Speaker 2: he didn't watch tape of him before they signed him.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Is that accurate? Does that sound like it's accurate?
- 12:46Speaker 1: It sounds like. I mean, he basically was like, you know,
- 12:49Speaker 1: I barely know the guy. And I'm like, man, the
- 12:51Speaker 1: guy's been in the league for not– he's been one
- 12:53Speaker 1: of the better playmaking nickels. Didn't you coach.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Against him at some point? No, but the question was,
- 12:57Speaker 2: and I forget who asked it, was could he play safety?
- 12:59Speaker 2: Because honestly, they don't need any more nickels.
- 13:01Speaker 1: They need– Yeah, but this was– honestly, this was the
- 13:03Speaker 1: first question about what do you think of Kenny Moore
- 13:06Speaker 1: that he said that. It wasn't– they later asked him, well,
- 13:08Speaker 1: could he play safety? And he repeated– That he doesn't
- 13:11Speaker 1: know of, but he was pretty adamant. Like I've never,
- 13:13Speaker 1: I don't, I barely know who this guy is.
- 13:16Speaker 2: That's what's comical because until two years ago, he was
- 13:20Speaker 2: arguably the best nickel and he fell off big time
- 13:22Speaker 2: and the Colts couldn't find a trade partner. So they
- 13:24Speaker 2: cut him. He's 31. Can't play corner, can't play nickel.
- 13:28Speaker 2: In fact, the way they use them in Indy for
- 13:30Speaker 2: many years is base downs, corner, nickel, which most teams
- 13:35Speaker 2: play anyway, majority of nickel anyway, then you play them inside. Now,
- 13:40Speaker 2: does he have anything left? They're going to find out.
- 13:42Speaker 2: They'll see. There was the NFL Network report that was
- 13:46Speaker 2: up to three million, which obviously it's not three million.
- 13:47Speaker 2: It's going to be less than that.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Right. So we'll see.
- 13:50Speaker 2: But remember, we've been saying for months now they don't
- 13:53Speaker 2: have a fourth corner. He'll be the fourth corner. Think
- 13:55Speaker 2: of it that way. Yeah.
- 13:57Speaker 1: I kind of go back to Howie saying he was
- 13:59Speaker 1: going to add at that position and never did. Remember
- 14:01Speaker 1: when he said, are you going to add another safety?
- 14:02Speaker 2: He said he was going to add a safety is
- 14:04Speaker 2: what he said. Yeah, yeah.
- 14:05Speaker 1: And then he never did. But then I feel like
- 14:08Speaker 1: because they have plans to practice him at nickel, maybe
- 14:11Speaker 1: safety and give him a look there. You know, there
- 14:13Speaker 1: were other teams that obviously wanted him. They gave him
- 14:15Speaker 1: a decent amount of money for a guy you're going
- 14:17Speaker 1: to sign to the practice squad. They clearly have a plan.
- 14:20Speaker 1: They know what it's going to be. Yeah, they're going
- 14:23Speaker 1: to get there. Basically, whatever the guarantee is in the cash.
- 14:26Speaker 1: That's going to be for the season, whether he's on
- 14:28Speaker 1: the 53 or the– I'm sure that's the way that
- 14:29Speaker 1: they're looking at it.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:31Speaker 1: But Vic ruled out moving Dajin at a– He does.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Not want to do it. Right. Vic does not– he
- 14:39Speaker 2: will never answer because there's no reason to what he
- 14:41Speaker 2: thinks long-term. But I believe that he thinks he's a safety.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I mean, it just– there's been a lot of clues, but.
- 14:49Speaker 1: But for now, he's keeping him in nickel.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:50Speaker 1: For at least this year, he basically said he's not
- 14:53Speaker 1: going to move him to– full-time safety this year. So
- 14:56Speaker 1: he's still going to be the nickel.
- 15:00Speaker 2: But, and then the other thing is on Wednesday, I
- 15:02Speaker 2: thought it was interesting is about, it sounds like Michael
- 15:04Speaker 2: Carter might be taking on some stuff away from Epps.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Epps is the starter, but you may find something. Epps,
- 15:09Speaker 2: he said there were a couple of plays Epps would
- 15:10Speaker 2: like to have back. It's something to watch. It's just,
- 15:12Speaker 2: you know, you watch it. We don't make any determinations yet,
- 15:16Speaker 2: but it's something to watch. But Kenny Moore gives him depth.
- 15:19Speaker 2: It just, it's a guy that, He's been in the
- 15:21Speaker 2: league a long time. I actually met him three years
- 15:23Speaker 2: ago at the Super Bowl. Super nice guy. He said Belichick.
- 15:25Speaker 2: He learned a ton from Belichick. And, boy, he applied
- 15:29Speaker 2: it because he made a lot of money and he
- 15:30Speaker 2: was phenomenal. Phenomenal player for many, many years. Pretty good
- 15:33Speaker 2: character guy. And we'll see what happens there. So they
- 15:36Speaker 2: addressed it. They did that. But the big thing to
- 15:38Speaker 2: me is they still need tight ends, by the way.
- 15:40Speaker 2: They need another pass-catching tight end. Yes. That's what they need.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Jatavian Sanders, by the way, he's a weekly inactive. Like
- 15:49Speaker 2: a fourth-round pick out of Texas. But he's a move
- 15:51Speaker 2: tight end. He can't play in line. But he can pad.
- 15:53Speaker 2: He can move. He can run. Can you get somebody
- 15:56Speaker 2: who's younger, can move? Yep.
- 15:59Speaker 1: At this point, I would take a Jack Stoll. Somebody
- 16:01Speaker 1: who could catch a little, block a little, maybe doesn't
- 16:03Speaker 1: do great at E.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Listen, we should mention.
- 16:06Speaker 1: He's on the Niners now, right?
- 16:08Speaker 2: Eagles have three tight ends here. Stowers, Calcaterra, and Goddard.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Two of them are on IR. But if you remember
- 16:13Speaker 2: when they Jimmy rigged it in 22, when Goddard was out,
- 16:16Speaker 2: I think that There was one year he had the forearm,
- 16:18Speaker 2: another one he had an MCL sprain. This is the
- 16:20Speaker 2: second MCL sprain, I believe. Yeah. The Jimmy rigged it,
- 16:24Speaker 2: if you remember, with Stull, who you mentioned, as the Y. Yep.
- 16:28Speaker 2: And Stull as the F, the move tight end. And
- 16:31Speaker 2: it worked. They actually did a nice job. Yeah.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Calcaterra had some of his best games as the F there.
- 16:36Speaker 1: I mean, he really was a good zone beater for them.
- 16:38Speaker 1: And Stull just was able to get in there and
- 16:40Speaker 1: block a little bit for the run.
- 16:42Speaker 2: But they could use another move tight end. They don't
- 16:45Speaker 2: need any more Ys. They have too many Ys. It's funny.
- 16:47Speaker 2: For years, they were looking for wise that they have
- 16:48Speaker 2: too many of them. Yes.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Yeah. And the wise who have no ability to give
- 16:53Speaker 1: you anything in the, in the.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Well, Jenkins, CJ Jenkins was a receiver in college. I know.
- 16:58Speaker 2: He looks strange. Hit some drops in training camp, but
- 17:01Speaker 2: you know what? You never know. We'll see what happens
- 17:03Speaker 2: Monday night. Yeah.
- 17:04Speaker 1: So based on listening to Vic, getting back to the
- 17:06Speaker 1: secondary situation and we take, I take Vic at his
- 17:09Speaker 1: word mostly because he's pretty honest. I mean, he defended
- 17:12Speaker 1: Epson said, you're right. He said, he had bad plays
- 17:15Speaker 1: that he liked to have back, but I would expect
- 17:17Speaker 1: him to be okay and bounce back. He likes Epps.
- 17:20Speaker 1: We know he likes Epps. But he also said, yes,
- 17:23Speaker 1: Carter could, he's playing Carter and dime. He played a
- 17:26Speaker 1: few snaps of dime against the Titans. So to me,
- 17:29Speaker 1: it's like, he's got Epps. He's got Carter waiting in
- 17:32Speaker 1: the wings. If Epps really continues to slip. And if
- 17:35Speaker 1: they have any more injuries or issues at that hybrid
- 17:38Speaker 1: situation in a week or two, then you've got Kenny
- 17:41Speaker 1: Moore ramping up. Like he's that, guy who they will
- 17:44Speaker 1: give a shot to. And you just hope it doesn't
- 17:47Speaker 1: have to get to that point because that just means
- 17:49Speaker 1: that you're, A, getting poor play, and, B, maybe getting
- 17:51Speaker 1: injuries at that position. Macuba didn't have a great game either,
- 17:56Speaker 1: by the way. It should be noted.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Who was that?
- 17:57Speaker 1: Macuba didn't have a wonderful game either.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Vic, I know Vic talked about it. It sounded like
- 18:04Speaker 2: he said thumbs down.
- 18:05Speaker 1: It was just– Just a couple plays you want back.
- 18:08Speaker 2: It's only two weeks. Yeah. I know a lot of
- 18:11Speaker 2: us said, oh, this could be a top five, top
- 18:13Speaker 2: three defense. It still could be, but the biggest issue
- 18:16Speaker 2: before we move on is the lack of pressure. I
- 18:19Speaker 2: know Hunt had a great training camp. We're not seeing
- 18:21Speaker 2: it yet. He's been okay, but they don't have that finisher,
- 18:24Speaker 2: a finisher like Grenard. And Grenard, I give Vic credit
- 18:28Speaker 2: for not even sugarcoating it. He said Grenard's ways away
- 18:31Speaker 2: from being a full-time player in terms of playing a
- 18:33Speaker 2: lot of snaps. When he comes back, he's going to
- 18:35Speaker 2: have a limited snap count. And Yeah, he was great.
- 18:40Speaker 2: I mean, he spelled it out on Wednesday. I mean,
- 18:41Speaker 2: I give the guy credit for not shying away from
- 18:43Speaker 2: it to educate people, the weight coaches thing. Not giving
- 18:46Speaker 2: away any secrets. When he's ready to play, he's going
- 18:48Speaker 2: to play. They're going to have to rotate.
- 18:50Speaker 1: He also validated what we've been saying since August about Grenard.
- 18:54Speaker 1: He said it's not just an injury. He said for
- 18:58Speaker 1: about five to six to seven weeks– he's not only injured,
- 19:02Speaker 1: but he wasn't able to do conditioning. We talked about
- 19:05Speaker 1: the pec injury doesn't let you lift. Clearly you can't
- 19:08Speaker 1: lift weights, but there's other cardio. Like it's difficult to run, right?
- 19:11Speaker 1: If you're, your chest is always bouncing. Like if you
- 19:14Speaker 1: have a pec injury, there's a lot of different things
- 19:16Speaker 1: that are difficult to do from a conditioning standpoint.
- 19:19Speaker 2: That you can't lift. Yeah.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Vic was, that's the obvious part too. So Vic was
- 19:24Speaker 1: basically saying, don't just look at this as coming back
- 19:26Speaker 1: from an injury, but look at this as coming back
- 19:29Speaker 1: from an injury and, having almost no conditioning, and also
- 19:32Speaker 1: this goes back to last year where you haven't really practiced,
- 19:35Speaker 1: as you pointed out many times. So I think Thursday
- 19:40Speaker 1: will be really interesting, the injury report, the first one
- 19:43Speaker 1: that comes out for the week. Will he advance from
- 19:46Speaker 1: limited participant to full participant? If it's full, that's... a
- 19:50Speaker 1: great sign. Still doesn't mean he's probably going to play
- 19:52Speaker 1: 70% of the snaps or anything crazy like that. But
- 19:55Speaker 1: then you get an idea that he'll be on the
- 19:57Speaker 1: field Monday night and contributing.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Well, here's what they can't have. They can't have him full,
- 20:01Speaker 2: then limited, full, or limited. I've covered this crap for
- 20:06Speaker 2: 27 years. Mm-hmm. And it just, it really bothers me
- 20:09Speaker 2: that they're not allowed, that they're not required to list exact, okay,
- 20:14Speaker 2: what limits less than its regular repetitions? Well, no one
- 20:17Speaker 2: knows what that means.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:19Speaker 2: We don't know how many reps that they, like, it
- 20:20Speaker 2: doesn't tell you. Could it mean one, two less?
- 20:25Speaker 1: You're right.
- 20:25Speaker 2: We don't know. Right. And that's the thing, which I
- 20:28Speaker 2: hate the way that they do this. They remove the
- 20:29Speaker 2: probable designation. Yep. So that's that.
- 20:33Speaker 1: By the way, sometimes, many times, I would say, limited
- 20:36Speaker 1: means all they did was individual drills, which is almost
- 20:39Speaker 1: like not to me even limited. That's not practice. If
- 20:42Speaker 1: you're not out there in 11-on-11s or doing something for
- 20:46Speaker 1: the game plan, you're probably not playing.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. But that's tough to find out. But anyway,
- 20:51Speaker 2: so that's that. Now, in terms of the Eagles injuries,
- 20:54Speaker 2: let's get to them. Yep. I'm going to be looking
- 20:58Speaker 2: for J. Alex Hunt's name, see if he's on it
- 21:00Speaker 2: on Thursday. I don't, I know for people who watch
- 21:05Speaker 2: the late in the game, he left, he left and
- 21:06Speaker 2: he looked, he was massaging something like he got hurt.
- 21:09Speaker 1: That's right.
- 21:09Speaker 2: See if he shows up on it. We mentioned Calcutta
- 21:12Speaker 2: and Stowers have to their own IR through the, through
- 21:16Speaker 2: week for the Rams game. And they would be eligible
- 21:18Speaker 2: to come back, at least practice and come back. You
- 21:20Speaker 2: can come back in the same week that you're designated
- 21:22Speaker 2: for return. You're allowed to do that on week five
- 21:25Speaker 2: in London, by the way, but, and that's on October
- 21:29Speaker 2: 11th against those Jaguars who are really good. And then
- 21:33Speaker 2: you've got it. We talked about the MCL sprain is
- 21:34Speaker 2: week to week, which would tell you it's worse than
- 21:36Speaker 2: a grade one. Yep.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Football is finally back, and PrizePix is bringing out their
- 21:41Speaker 1: best offer yet. New users who sign up will get

- 23:24Speaker 1: Fall is the season where everyone gets busier, more calls,
- 23:27Speaker 1: more customers, more chances for something to slip through the cracks,
- 23:31Speaker 1: and staying ahead means having the right system, not just
- 23:34Speaker 1: working harder. That's why today's episode is brought to you

- 24:11Speaker 2: And then Barkley, we're going to watch the stinger. We're
- 24:13Speaker 2: going to see how well he's doing, because he came
- 24:16Speaker 2: in and then left. So we need to watch that one.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I thought Shipley had some pretty decent runs as far
- 24:23Speaker 1: as getting skinny through a hole where there weren't too
- 24:25Speaker 1: much holes and obviously had some decent blitz pickup in
- 24:28Speaker 1: the fourth quarter there. So something to watch going forward
- 24:31Speaker 1: with the offense. Yeah, and that's really the injury situation
- 24:35Speaker 1: for the Eagles, the signings for the Eagles. Was there
- 24:38Speaker 1: anybody else that wasn't? Oh, that's it. Yeah, I was
- 24:41Speaker 1: going to say, I think we'll go to the Bears.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Yeah, sure. All right, so go ahead. Want me to go?
- 24:49Speaker 1: No, no, you go ahead.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Okay. Caleb Williams hamstring strain. He's not expected to play.
- 24:54Speaker 2: He's not going to play. They're not going to rescue it.
- 24:56Speaker 2: The good thing is the MRI showed it was a
- 24:58Speaker 2: light strain. Um, so the way it works is with
- 25:01Speaker 2: hamstring strains and I've had my number of them. Um,
- 25:04Speaker 2: the higher up it is on your hamstring, the worse,
- 25:06Speaker 2: the longer you're going to, the worse, the greatest of
- 25:08Speaker 2: the strain. Um, so the good thing is it's somewhere
- 25:11Speaker 2: around a grade one. Uh, it's funny. Ben Johnson, he,
- 25:15Speaker 2: he said he's week to week, but he's not going
- 25:17Speaker 2: to roll them out. I mean, come on, stop playing games.
- 25:19Speaker 2: He's not playing. Uh, Tyson Bajent has a concussion. They're
- 25:23Speaker 2: number two quarterback. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. We're going to
- 25:27Speaker 2: see if he's going to be ready now. The average
- 25:29Speaker 2: concussion recovery in the NFL now is around seven days,
- 25:31Speaker 2: so he could push it. Maybe their last practice is
- 25:35Speaker 2: on Saturday. Walkthrough is on Sunday. It's a home game.
- 25:37Speaker 2: He doesn't have to travel. And then a guy they
- 25:40Speaker 2: faced nine years ago in the championship game. We'll start
- 25:44Speaker 2: if needed, and that's Case Keenum. Chris Long knows him
- 25:47Speaker 2: very well. He stripped him.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Changed the game.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Patrick Robinson, the rest is history. And then they have
- 25:54Speaker 2: a kid on the practice squad, the immortal Miller Moss
- 25:57Speaker 2: out of Louisville, an undirected free agent on the practice squad.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Didn't he play? He started off at USC, if I'm
- 26:03Speaker 1: not mistaken.
- 26:04Speaker 2: You know more than I do about him. Yeah. Yeah.
- 26:07Speaker 1: I watched him in a little big Penn State USC
- 26:10Speaker 1: action once, but. Yeah, this is not a great situation
- 26:13Speaker 1: for the Bears. Listen, I said this, I think, with
- 26:16Speaker 1: Sam on Inside the Data. For the Eagles fan, it's great.
- 26:20Speaker 1: If you go get to play the Bears with their
- 26:21Speaker 1: backup quarterback or third stringer, that's awesome. It favors you greatly.
- 26:26Speaker 1: In fact, the Monte Carlo model that predicts swung way
- 26:29Speaker 1: heavily toward the Eagles after being only 48% in favor
- 26:33Speaker 1: of the Eagles just last week. So that's great. But
- 26:37Speaker 1: for us, objective analysis, we like to see like a
- 26:40Speaker 1: really good primetime matchup. I would have liked to have
- 26:42Speaker 1: seen Caleb Williams play in this game and just got
- 26:46Speaker 1: a great quarterback matchup, great team matchup, offense versus defense.
- 26:50Speaker 1: So it would have been fun.
- 26:51Speaker 2: They are loaded on their offensive line. Joe Tooney shocked
- 26:55Speaker 2: the world after the trade. Yeah. If the Eagles beat
- 26:57Speaker 2: him up in the Super Bowl when he was playing
- 26:59Speaker 2: left tackle, it shouldn't have been. He was elite last season.
- 27:02Speaker 2: He got his contract redone. Jordan Jackson has kind of
- 27:05Speaker 2: revived his career after what happened with the Rams. Darnell
- 27:06Speaker 2: Wright is an absolute superstar. Mm-hmm. Left tackle's the issue.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Garrett Bradbury's a guy who's moved on a bit. He's
- 27:13Speaker 2: a smaller center. That may be where the Eagles have
- 27:16Speaker 2: an advantage there. But defensively, this is where they've got problems.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Shamar Turner, who was a second-round pick last year, is
- 27:23Speaker 2: on PUP. He's on reserve PUP with a comeback from
- 27:25Speaker 2: the ACL. But the big ones are in the secondary.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Tyreek Stevenson, one of their starting corners, he got a
- 27:31Speaker 2: hamstring injury in the game. He left. Malik Muhammad, their
- 27:34Speaker 2: fourth-round pick out of Texas, replaced him. He would start.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Carla Gordon's out. Poor guy. He had a concussion issue before.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Now he's got– this season he's got the calf issue.
- 27:42Speaker 2: He won't play this week. He's on PUP.
- 27:44Speaker 1: He's a good player who just really struggles to stay healthy.
- 27:47Speaker 2: It's tough. You're right. Yeah, he gets hurt a lot.
- 27:49Speaker 2: And then we've got Cam Lewis filling in. You might
- 27:51Speaker 2: remember from the Bills who's been a dime defender and
- 27:53Speaker 2: a nickel. He's not bad. He's being paid a lot
- 27:55Speaker 2: of money to be a backup. And then the big
- 27:57Speaker 2: one is Kobe Bryant, one of the starting centers– the
- 27:59Speaker 2: starting safeties. It's spelled with a C, by the way.
- 28:03Speaker 2: He got hurt in training camp. And Xavier Woods, the
- 28:05Speaker 2: journeyman safety. He's been on a lot of teams. He has.
- 28:08Speaker 2: He fills in. So they might be down three starters
- 28:11Speaker 2: in their secondary for this game. Advantage Eagles. And here's
- 28:15Speaker 2: the good news.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Yes, tropical storm, Kaplan.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Tell us. Weather, 70 during the day, 3% chance of rain. Obviously,
- 28:22Speaker 2: it could change. But it's looking good. Ideal conditions should
- 28:24Speaker 2: be in the mid-60s in game time. This should be
- 28:27Speaker 2: fun because that Slough Fest they had at Soldier Field
- 28:29Speaker 2: last week was hard to watch. Yeah. A lot of
- 28:32Speaker 2: advantages here for the Eagles. The Eagles offense versus the
- 28:35Speaker 2: Chicago Bear defense due to injury.
- 28:37Speaker 1: And pass pro has not been as much as the
- 28:39Speaker 1: run game has been an issue. Pass pro has been better.
- 28:42Speaker 1: You know, we obviously saw Jalen Hurts was very comfortable, very,
- 28:44Speaker 1: he got hit a couple of times, of course, by
- 28:46Speaker 1: Jeffrey Simmons, but the bears don't have a Jeffrey Simmons.
- 28:49Speaker 1: They have some good players elsewhere, but they just don't have,
- 28:52Speaker 1: I mean, Montez sweats, a good edge rusher, but they
- 28:54Speaker 1: don't have Jeffrey Simmons is one of the, is maybe
- 28:56Speaker 1: the best player in his position. The bears don't have that.
- 28:58Speaker 2: No. In fact, opposite sweat, Dio didn't both coming up
- 29:01Speaker 2: from the Achilles injury. That is a bad injury. He
- 29:04Speaker 2: got hurt. I think in November, remember, You remember Greg Ellis,
- 29:07Speaker 2: the really good DN for the Cowboys for many years?
- 29:10Speaker 2: I met him at Pro Bowl. This is going back
- 29:12Speaker 2: like 20 years ago, maybe a little bit less than that.
- 29:15Speaker 2: But he told me it took him a good two
- 29:17Speaker 2: years to get his Achilles right. And I just never
- 29:20Speaker 2: forgotten that. And he's playing the same position that Dingbo's playing.
- 29:23Speaker 2: He's a big free agent signing from the Colts last year.
- 29:26Speaker 2: They get the kid Austin Booker. He's a speed rusher,
- 29:30Speaker 2: but he's okay. Grave Jared, I know they love his leadership.
- 29:34Speaker 2: He's still making a lot of money. And old Frank
- 29:35Speaker 2: Contavia streets there. Devin Bush revived his career with the Browns, but, and, and,
- 29:42Speaker 2: and they've got, of course, TJ Edwards like that, but
- 29:45Speaker 2: Dennis Allen coach is great. And he's phenomenal. He's a
- 29:48Speaker 2: great D coordinator, not a good head coach, but the
- 29:51Speaker 2: guy gets these guys to execute. So it won't be easy.
- 29:53Speaker 2: And look, it's real simple. If the Eagles control this game,
- 29:56Speaker 2: they're winning. If they control the bears running game, they're, they're,
- 30:00Speaker 2: I don't care who plays quarterback. Yeah. Of the backups.
- 30:03Speaker 2: They're winning the game. But we're going to see. We're
- 30:05Speaker 2: going to see if they kind of, like, Steven's available.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Eagles run defense was horrific last year against them. They
- 30:11Speaker 2: had two 100-year rushers in the first half. So bring
- 30:15Speaker 2: your hard hat. It's coming Monday night. You know it's coming.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Ben Johnson's unreal with that sophisticated run game. He calls
- 30:21Speaker 2: the game. He not only calls the game, he's one
- 30:23Speaker 2: of the few head coaches that designs a run game.
- 30:25Speaker 1: That's right. That's right. He's brilliant. And he'll tell you
- 30:28Speaker 1: about it, too. He's not afraid to tell you about it.
- 30:32Speaker 2: He thinks he's great. I know. He thinks he's great.
- 30:33Speaker 2: I got it. I got it. All right. Good stuff.
- 30:36Speaker 1: We're going to have a lot more covered. Obviously, we'll
- 30:37Speaker 1: have the Inside the Birds pregame show later this week.
- 30:40Speaker 1: And we'll have a bonus ITB Monday morning just to
- 30:43Speaker 1: go through any last-minute injury intel that we've got along
- 30:47Speaker 1: before they play that evening. And, of course, we've got
- 30:51Speaker 1: Birds Weekly pregame show. We have an Inside the Data
- 30:53Speaker 1: pre where we've introduced DVOA and what that says. So
- 30:56Speaker 1: we have a lot of great coverage for you. The
- 30:58Speaker 1: rest of the week, Andrew DiCecco's Notebooks and Rookie Diary
- 31:02Speaker 1: will be coming.
- 31:03Speaker 2: One thing I want to mention about DVOA, it is
- 31:05Speaker 2: the only analytic point that coaches agree is phenomenal. Even
- 31:12Speaker 2: if guys– a lot of coaches I've known for years,
- 31:15Speaker 2: they don't like PFF. But they don't look at their grades.
- 31:18Speaker 2: They think they're nonsense because they would have to know
- 31:21Speaker 2: how they coach. But they love their– they would say
- 31:24Speaker 2: anything my eye can't measure.
- 31:26Speaker 1: I want it.
- 31:27Speaker 2: That's what you should want. Well, DVOA does everything. So,
- 31:30Speaker 2: and a lot of defensive coaches I know love it. Absolutely. Yep. Yeah.
- 31:35Speaker 2: So that's some real bleep there. So I'm looking forward
- 31:37Speaker 2: to hearing what Sam's got to say. Yeah.
- 31:38Speaker 1: He did a good job of explaining the difference between
- 31:41Speaker 1: EPA and DVOA and why it matters. So hey, before
- 31:44Speaker 1: we get out of here, I got some free swag.
- 31:46Speaker 1: So I got to say much love to my friends
- 31:49Speaker 1: at Paul Massano's sandwich shop. The best. Let me tell you,
- 31:53Speaker 1: this is my favorite. Italian sandwich shop in South Jersey.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:58Speaker 1: They're in a Sewell or Washington township. If you're not
- 32:00Speaker 1: from the area, but specifically Sewell on egg Harbor road,
- 32:03Speaker 1: two 88, Adam, when I tell you like family owned, so, and,
- 32:08Speaker 1: and they're wonderful people, but is it?
- 32:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:11Speaker 1: They, this is not just like thin sliced deli meat
- 32:14Speaker 1: on a, this is like breaded chicken cutlet filet mignon
- 32:18Speaker 1: cheese steak. Okay. They have some of the greatest and
- 32:21Speaker 1: the fig Caprese. Oh, I'm sorry.
- 32:24Speaker 2: I'm a vegan, but I will have cheese. I have
- 32:26Speaker 2: cheese a couple days a week.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Yeah, they'll have the mozzarella. Oh, yeah, I'll do that.
- 32:31Speaker 2: I'll do that. Wow, dude. Wow, all right.
- 32:38Speaker 1: I'm in.
- 32:38Speaker 2: I drive for my pizza, and I drive for my
- 32:40Speaker 2: good sandwiches.
- 32:41Speaker 1: I know, and I felt jealous because you and Andrew
- 32:43Speaker 1: have been getting together for having all this good pizza,
- 32:45Speaker 1: so I had to promote Palmasalvo.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Joey's in Thorndale, folks, and his brother owns Pizza Westchester.
- 32:52Speaker 2: But Joey's is the best pizza. And my friends at
- 32:56Speaker 2: Stretch Home told me about them. Nice. Oh, my God.
- 32:58Speaker 2: The best white pizza. Like, Ravenessi's is great. And where's that?
- 33:02Speaker 2: In Glen Mills. Phenomenal. I've heard you talk about that. Yeah.
- 33:05Speaker 2: If you ever travel to Chester County. Also, Nick's in...
- 33:11Speaker 2: In Wilmington, Delaware, if you ever travel. I travel, dude.
- 33:14Speaker 2: You know how insane I am for pizza. I love it.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Look, we just gave you South Jersey, PA, and Delaware.
- 33:19Speaker 1: So anywhere in the tri-state area, we had you covered.
- 33:22Speaker 1: And these are not paid advertisements.
- 33:24Speaker 2: No, we want to help the locals, man.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Palmisano's is unbelievable. Again, Egg Harbor Road in Seoul.
- 33:30Speaker 2: I will not forget that. Wait, what's the town?
- 33:33Speaker 1: It's technically called Washington Township in South Jersey, but there's
- 33:36Speaker 1: a section of Washington Township and also a section of Mantua.
- 33:41Speaker 1: that is called Sewell. It's kind of spans both.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Sure.
- 33:44Speaker 1: And yeah, it's right on egg Harbor road, which is very, very,
- 33:47Speaker 1: you know, there's like a Rita's right next door.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Big applause. Everybody, everybody who knows Sewell knows where Paul
- 33:51Speaker 1: Masanos is.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Awesome stuff.
- 33:54Speaker 1: All right. Like I said, a lot more coverage on
- 33:56Speaker 1: inside the birds platform coming up later this week. That's
- 33:58Speaker 1: going to do it for this episode of inside the birds,
- 34:01Speaker 1: the leading podcast in Eagles Intel. And as always, we
- 34:04Speaker 1: thank you for flying with us inside the birds.
