- 1:52Speaker 4: Smile day oh babe How do they do those things?
- 1:57Speaker 4: I've seen like the commercials for the dentist where they
- 1:59Speaker 4: can basically remodel your mouth in one day.
- 2:03Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 2:04Speaker 2: How's that possible?
- 2:05Speaker 8: I think they just put you to sleep and work
- 2:06Speaker 8: their butts off.
- 2:07Speaker 4: Why is it like if I go in for like
- 2:09Speaker 4: a root canal, that's like two visits, you know, because
- 2:11Speaker 4: you at least got to come back for, you know,
- 2:14Speaker 4: they'll do all the work. And they'll put the temporary
- 2:16Speaker 4: crown on there. And you had to come back for
- 2:18Speaker 4: the permanent one. But meanwhile, they take someone who looks
- 2:20Speaker 4: like they got a donkey mouth. And then within 24 hours.
- 2:23Speaker 2: They basically just file down all your teeth like shark
- 2:26Speaker 2: teeth and then put caps on them.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 8: They knock you out and put screws in.
- 2:30Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, the screws have to settle. Oh, do they? Yeah.
- 2:33Speaker 2: It takes like six months. At least six months.
- 2:36Speaker 4: You got a dental implant, Craig.
- 2:37Speaker 2: I sure did.
- 2:38Speaker 4: I got a dental implant. You got a dental implant.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Do you have a screw? I have a screw. Yeah,
- 2:42Speaker 2: my x-rays look so cool.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Wow.
- 2:44Speaker 2: The screw in my jaw.
- 2:45Speaker 3: And it took. Six months of letting it stand.
- 2:47Speaker 10: Was it expensive?
- 2:48Speaker 2: Oh, it was a fortune, man.
- 2:49Speaker 8: Was the screw just out and about for six months?
- 2:52Speaker 5: Yes.
- 2:53Speaker 2: You could feel it and everything? I had a cap
- 2:55Speaker 2: that I would wear on top of it. I have
- 2:57Speaker 2: a dental implant. But I could take it out and
- 2:59Speaker 2: look at the screw. Wow.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Today is World Farm Animals Day. It's International Day of Nonviolence,
- 3:05Speaker 4: which it's Friday. How pissed can you be?
- 3:06Speaker 6: Right.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 3:08Speaker 4: We've got International Guardian Angel Day.
- 3:12Speaker 8: What does that mean?
- 3:13Speaker 4: I mean, guardian angels? Someone's kind of maybe looking at.
- 3:16Speaker 2: You, I guess. The guardian angels, who are the original
- 3:19Speaker 2: cart narcs of New York City. Oh, yeah, them too, right?
- 3:22Speaker 2: Subway narcs. Yeah, exactly. Today is National Custodian Day.
- 3:26Speaker 8: Awesome, thank you.
- 3:27Speaker 4: National Name Your Car Day, which I've never done.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I know a lot of people do that. Oh, I did.
- 3:32Speaker 2: In high school, Silver Passion.
- 3:34Speaker 4: And then today is National Fried Scallops Day.
- 3:36Speaker 8: I don't think I've ever had a fried scallop.
- 3:40Speaker 4: I just think of Gordon Ramsay now. Every time I
- 3:45Speaker 4: hear scallops or Beef Wellington, those two things.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Totally. Yeah.
- 3:49Speaker 4: This is when Greg called the dentist. Since we're talking
- 3:52Speaker 4: about Greg and his dental.
- 3:53Speaker 2: This is the birth of. Yeah. Yeah.
- 3:55Speaker 4: I mean, Menace put this together forever ago. He had
- 3:58Speaker 4: all these clips of Greg from the show, including.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:02Speaker 4: And he called a dentist's office. And he used the
- 4:05Speaker 4: clips on one of those. Remember the soundboard prank calls
- 4:08Speaker 4: were so big?
- 4:08Speaker 2: They're so funny. That's what Menace did for this one.
- 4:13Speaker 5: Dr.
- 4:13Speaker 2: S * * *' s office.
- 4:14Speaker 11: This is S * * *.
- 4:14Speaker 12: How may I help you?
- 4:16Speaker 2: So expensive. It's not even funny. What's too expensive?
- 4:20Speaker 3: They basically, like, squeeze your cheeks, and they call that
- 4:23Speaker 3: tissue analysis. I'm sorry.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Who are you trying to speak to? I have a
- 4:29Speaker 2: dental implant, which looks really cool on the x-rays.
- 4:32Speaker 13: Okay.
- 4:33Speaker 3: My dog just had an abscess in his head, and
- 4:35Speaker 3: it swelled up to the size of a grapefruit. Just
- 4:37Speaker 3: glad it didn't happen to me, because if it did,
- 4:39Speaker 3: it wouldn't be funny.
- 4:41Speaker 6: Hold on one second.
- 4:42Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:42Speaker 2: There it is.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:46Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Who are you holding for?
- 4:48Speaker 2: I have a dental implant.
- 4:50Speaker 6: Okay.
- 4:51Speaker 14: What can I help you with?
- 4:53Speaker 2: The average person in the U.S. spent $ 542, which sounds
- 4:55Speaker 2: really low to me.
- 4:56Speaker 5: Okay.
- 4:56Speaker 2: You need one. Closed your eardrums to me. I have
- 5:02Speaker 2: a dental implant.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 5:05Speaker 2: So you had.
- 5:06Speaker 1: It done elsewhere?
- 5:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:08Speaker 6: Yeah. Okay.
- 5:08Speaker 13: Do you want to make an appointment and come in
- 5:10Speaker 13: and let him look at it if.
- 5:11Speaker 12: You have problems with it?
- 5:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:13Speaker 13: You said you already have it done, right?
- 5:15Speaker 6: Right.
- 5:16Speaker 15: You have an implant and you want it removed?
- 5:18Speaker 2: Exactly. Why do you want it removed?
- 5:21Speaker 3: We're taking the whole staff to Cancun, plus on a
- 5:23Speaker 3: cruise they've got gambling.
- 5:25Speaker 13: Okay, the only thing that I can suggest is that
- 5:27Speaker 13: if you're having problems with it, come in and let
- 5:29Speaker 13: the doc look at it and decide what needs.
- 5:32Speaker 2: To be done.
- 5:32Speaker 3: That's weird, because they've got to pull the tooth, put
- 5:34Speaker 3: it in the post, let that heal.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Bastards. Bastards. That was it. That's a Woody.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Show classic right there. God, that's funny.
- 5:44Speaker 2: 877-44-WOODY.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Text us over to 22987. We've got some more Woody
- 5:48Speaker 4: Show for you next.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Hang on.
- 5:50Speaker 14: The Woody Show returns.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Do you want to win a 98-inch television? What's going on, everybody?
- 5:58Speaker 2: It's Menace. I'm going to be at Lazy Dog Restaurant
- 6:01Speaker 2: LA Live doing a watch party for the Rams versus
- 6:05Speaker 2: Bills game at Lazy Dog Restaurant. It starts at 5 p.m.
- 6:09Speaker 2: TCL said they're going to hook me up with a
- 6:12Speaker 2: 98-inch TV to give away. Plus, I'll have a ton
- 6:15Speaker 2: of other prizes. But all you got to do is
- 6:18Speaker 2: show up and you might go home with a 98-inch TV. television,
- 6:22Speaker 2: and much, much more. So mark your calendars. October 12th,
- 6:26Speaker 2: 5 p.m. Lazy Dog Restaurant LA Live. In the meantime,
- 6:30Speaker 2: keep enjoying the Woody Show podcast. All right. Let's check
- 6:38Speaker 2: in with Gina Grand.
- 6:39Speaker 4: Lots to talk about with the trending news headlines.
- 6:42Speaker 8: Yeah. So first, just a quick heads up. We've got
- 6:44Speaker 8: a lot of legal updates today, but they're all really
- 6:46Speaker 8: big stories.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Dude, all these stories are.
- 6:48Speaker 14: It's got to be done.
- 6:49Speaker 2: High profile cases.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Yes.
- 6:51Speaker 4: A lot of people chatting about them and talking about them.
- 6:54Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 6:54Speaker 2: What's happening? Oh, my God. We don't make the news.
- 6:56Speaker 2: We just report it. Thank you.
- 6:58Speaker 8: Well, let's start off with Gypsy Rose Blanchard.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Oh, she's in the news?
- 7:03Speaker 6: Good.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Gypsy.
- 7:03Speaker 8: Yep.
- 7:04Speaker 2: What's up with Gypsy?
- 7:05Speaker 16: Well, her fiance, Ken Urker, was found dead in his
- 7:08Speaker 16: Louisiana home yesterday.
- 7:10Speaker 8: On his birthday, by the way.
- 7:12Speaker 2: This bitch is a black widow.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Seriously.
- 7:14Speaker 16: He was only 33 years old. Gypsy texted him, happy birthday.
- 7:17Speaker 16: She didn't get a response. Then her brother, Dylan, and
- 7:20Speaker 16: his wife found him unresponsive when they showed up to
- 7:22Speaker 16: take him to dinner. So Gypsy told People magazine he
- 7:25Speaker 16: died of an overdose in his bed and said, quote,
- 7:27Speaker 16: I don't know if it was intentional or not. He
- 7:29Speaker 16: was not in a good state of mind lately. And
- 7:32Speaker 16: she blames his mental state on, quote, relentless cyberbullying. By
- 7:37Speaker 16: the way, they have a nine-month-old daughter together and the sheriff,
- 7:40Speaker 16: you know, says they're investigating the death.
- 7:42Speaker 8: But she kind of told us.
- 7:43Speaker 4: I mean, you know, you get things. I understand life happens, right?
- 7:47Speaker 4: Like you get caught up in what you got caught
- 7:49Speaker 4: up in once. But then when it's just all these
- 7:52Speaker 4: people around you are always dying.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:55Speaker 4: And it's always like kind of suspicious or weird. You know,
- 7:58Speaker 4: 33 year old people just don't die.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Now he's 38, right? 33. Oh, 33? That's what she
- 8:05Speaker 2: said in the story. I don't know how old he is.
- 8:06Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 8:07Speaker 4: Anyway, but like, you know, it just doesn't happen like that.
- 8:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 8:10Speaker 2: You know, like overdose? Yeah, sure.
- 8:12Speaker 4: But like, why is it that it always follows around
- 8:15Speaker 4: certain people? Where there's smoke, there's fire.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:18Speaker 3: And also, she's the ultimate example of everything she did.
- 8:22Speaker 3: I mean, she was the victim.
- 8:24Speaker 2: For a big chunk of her life.
- 8:25Speaker 4: Can we bet on Kalshi if she did it? Or
- 8:29Speaker 4: she's in some way responsible? What's the prediction market on that?
- 8:32Speaker 2: Not to be a samey, but I think he might
- 8:36Speaker 2: have just did it to himself. It's his birthday. He's
- 8:38Speaker 2: probably partying. Yeah, it's my birthday. You know what I
- 8:39Speaker 2: want to do? Whatever I want. I want to die today.
- 8:41Speaker 2: That's what I'm doing. He's just doing drugs.
- 8:43Speaker 3: But I think she's the ultimate example of once you're
- 8:45Speaker 3: out of prison, fly under the radar.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Oh, my God. No. Go away.
- 8:50Speaker 8: It can't be done with reality stars.
- 8:52Speaker 2: No way. Yeah, she has to make a living.
- 8:54Speaker 8: I mean, what was she going to do?
- 8:56Speaker 2: Get a job.
- 8:57Speaker 8: Doing what? Yeah, does she have skills?
- 8:59Speaker 16: Well, we know baby Jessica was a nurse or whatever
- 9:01Speaker 16: before all her craziness.
- 9:03Speaker 6: Yep.
- 9:03Speaker 16: Well, let's move on to good old Krista Pike, who
- 9:06Speaker 16: we've been hearing about a lot the last few days.
- 9:08Speaker 8: She is alive.
- 9:09Speaker 16: She's in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital after receiving
- 9:13Speaker 16: life-saving medical care.
- 9:14Speaker 8: Remember, she was the one that was.
- 9:15Speaker 4: I never paid attention to her name. I'm like, who's
- 9:17Speaker 4: Krista Pike? This is the woman in Tennessee they tried
- 9:19Speaker 4: to put to death.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Yes.
- 9:20Speaker 10: Twice.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:21Speaker 8: With the pentobarbital.
- 9:22Speaker 2: She's a human cockroach. Totally. Can't be killed.
- 9:25Speaker 14: Yeah, and.
- 9:26Speaker 16: Did you know, by the way, that since she says
- 9:28Speaker 16: she has this bad history with men, that she requested
- 9:31Speaker 16: an all-female execution team?
- 9:33Speaker 8: Oh, that's cool. I did not know you could make
- 9:34Speaker 8: these kind of requests.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Was that her final wish? Maybe because she knew.
- 9:38Speaker 8: They'd somehow screw it up, which they did.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Dude, somebody left us an after-hours voicemail about that, actually.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Let's see.
- 9:46Speaker 2: 877-44-Woody.
- 9:47Speaker 6: Hey, I was following the Tennessee women execution thing. And
- 9:54Speaker 6: I just found out that the woman that was being
- 9:57Speaker 6: executed had a lot of bad experiences with men so
- 10:02Speaker 6: she requested a whole women execution team and they f * * * ed.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Up twice I.
- 10:10Speaker 4: Wonder do.
- 10:12Speaker 6: You think is that a coincidence or is that just
- 10:16Speaker 6: because men are better That's killing women.
- 10:21Speaker 2: He's just thinking out loud, guys. He's thinking out loud.
- 10:24Speaker 8: He's just asking.
- 10:25Speaker 2: And why is it that women always do other women dirty? Yeah,
- 10:28Speaker 2: you know what?
- 10:28Speaker 8: Well, I think they saved her life.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Yeah, did they do her dirty?
- 10:31Speaker 8: I mean, I think they were on her side.
- 10:32Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, if you look at the resume, men
- 10:34Speaker 2: do have a clean track record of, you know, getting
- 10:36Speaker 2: the job done. That's true.
- 10:38Speaker 8: Wow, that's something to think about.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:40Speaker 4: Again, Greg, we talk about this all the time. Like, oh,
- 10:43Speaker 4: if you're scheduled for execution, but you're sick on that day,
- 10:46Speaker 4: they won't do it because they got to make sure
- 10:47Speaker 4: that you're perfectly healthy.
- 10:48Speaker 2: That I don't get. Before they put.
- 10:50Speaker 4: The IV, the needle in, they got to use the
- 10:52Speaker 4: alcohol swab to make sure.
- 10:54Speaker 2: What, in case you get an infection? All right, so
- 10:56Speaker 2: you're putting her to death and it doesn't go right.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Now she's in critical condition. Just let her go. Yeah,
- 11:01Speaker 2: this is an easy way. Yeah, like.
- 11:03Speaker 4: We're life-saving measures.
- 11:05Speaker 6: Why?
- 11:05Speaker 2: You were just trying to put her to death.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Right.
- 11:07Speaker 6: Which is it?
- 11:07Speaker 2: Maybe somebody in the hospital can kink her IV or something.
- 11:11Speaker 16: And how many times have you had food poisoning or
- 11:13Speaker 16: been hungover?
- 11:14Speaker 2: You're like, I just wish I would die.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Like, done.
- 11:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:16Speaker 4: No problem.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Also along those lines, the best is when they do
- 11:20Speaker 3: execute somebody and it was painful. And they say it
- 11:23Speaker 3: was a botched execution.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Was it? It was successful.
- 11:26Speaker 8: It seems successful.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Complete success. Yeah. And for people who did really awful,
- 11:30Speaker 2: rotten things to other people, you think about the victim
- 11:33Speaker 2: and the way they died and what they must be
- 11:34Speaker 2: going through. It's hard for me to find any sympathy
- 11:38Speaker 2: in my heart.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Totally.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Or my thinking when they go, oh, well, it was torturous.
- 11:43Speaker 2: It was whatever.
- 11:43Speaker 4: I'm like, all right, well, that seems more eye for
- 11:46Speaker 4: an eye, which... I'm okay with it.
- 11:47Speaker 8: And she did torture her victim.
- 11:49Speaker 3: And this Krista Pike chick said that lethal injection, electric chair,
- 11:52Speaker 3: et cetera, was against her religion because she's Buddhist. Is
- 11:55Speaker 3: it part of any religion?
- 11:57Speaker 2: Dude, that is.
- 11:59Speaker 8: It's against my religion.
- 12:00Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Satanism, I guess. Yeah.
- 12:03Speaker 8: Oh my God, that's so awesome.
- 12:04Speaker 2: They sacrifice, you know.
- 12:05Speaker 6: Right?
- 12:06Speaker 16: Well, this is the last legal update, I swear. But,
- 12:08Speaker 16: you know, there are just there a lot today. So
- 12:11Speaker 16: this one's about Lindsay Clancy. We all know that name now.
- 12:13Speaker 16: She's the one who killed her kids. Well, the judge
- 12:16Speaker 16: denied her lawyer's bid to have her murder case thrown out.
- 12:19Speaker 4: That's the other one that they just turned around like
- 12:21Speaker 4: all of a sudden, like this other chick said she's
- 12:23Speaker 4: against my religion. Well, where was this? Were you a
- 12:25Speaker 4: known Buddhist? And like, oh, man, I got this one friend, man.
- 12:29Speaker 4: She's a Buddhist, right? Did your friends or family have
- 12:31Speaker 4: any idea that you were? This case, this case was like, oh, no,
- 12:35Speaker 4: she did it. But, you know, is she criminally responsible
- 12:41Speaker 4: for it was the question. It was never, guys, we've
- 12:44Speaker 4: never debated about whether she actually did it or not.
- 12:47Speaker 8: Unless you had read it.
- 12:48Speaker 4: It was just a matter of she was criminally responsible.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Then all of a.
- 12:50Speaker 4: Sudden, now we get the lone juror. Now it's a mistrial.
- 12:55Speaker 4: Now they're talking about this stuff. And all of a
- 12:56Speaker 4: sudden he's like, wait a minute. Did she even do it?
- 12:59Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 13:00Speaker 2: These lawyers will go for anything.
- 13:02Speaker 8: Well, the judge wasn't buying that.
- 13:04Speaker 16: And they said there's plenty of enough evidence for a
- 13:10Speaker 16: rational jury to convict. So the case is staying alive.
- 13:13Speaker 16: The defense is also pushing Double Jeopardy to block a retrial.
- 13:16Speaker 16: But again, Double Jeopardy, I'm no lawyer, but that doesn't
- 13:19Speaker 16: really make sense in this case. And last night on
- 13:22Speaker 16: Thursday Night Football, the Browns managed to beat the Steelers
- 13:25Speaker 16: despite Cleveland blowing an 11-point lead in the fourth quarter.
- 13:29Speaker 16: And Aaron Rodgers, Woody's favorite, tied it up with a
- 13:32Speaker 16: late touchdown and a two-point conversion. But then the Browns
- 13:35Speaker 16: got down the field and won it with a 56-yard
- 13:38Speaker 16: field goal with 10 seconds left.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Yeah, people are trying to needle me about this, but
- 13:42Speaker 4: I've been saying that they were going to lose this game.
- 13:45Speaker 4: I never once said, oh, yeah, this one, no problem.
- 13:49Speaker 4: This is the one I'm like, nope, they're going to
- 13:51Speaker 4: lose this game.
- 13:52Speaker 8: Well, you're right.
- 13:52Speaker 16: And the Browns have a better record than the Rams
- 13:55Speaker 16: or the Chargers and are in first place in the
- 13:57Speaker 16: AFC North.
- 13:58Speaker 4: Nobody saw that coming. Nobody saw the Raiders for how
- 14:02Speaker 4: they're doing so far. Now, again, it's only week four.
- 14:05Speaker 4: We'll see how it is at the end of the season.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Raiders!
- 14:08Speaker 4: A lot of surprises out there. Not surprised that the
- 14:13Speaker 4: Steelers lost that game. They have not beaten the Browns
- 14:16Speaker 4: in Cleveland. I think it was like nine games.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Yeah. The last nine or whatever it is, five games
- 14:22Speaker 2: at home.
- 14:22Speaker 4: It's some incredible depressing stat.
- 14:28Speaker 2: We used to own that team. The doo-doos.
- 14:31Speaker 4: We used to own them.
- 14:32Speaker 8: Yeah, they were the punchline, right?
- 14:33Speaker 2: Yeah, of course.
- 14:34Speaker 4: You would always go into their own stadium and beat them.
- 14:38Speaker 4: Handle them.
- 14:39Speaker 2: But now, you know.
- 14:40Speaker 8: It's over for now.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 14:42Speaker 6: For now.
- 14:43Speaker 16: Well, you guys, this is big news. There's a new U.S.
- 14:45Speaker 16: passport design rolling out in 2028. This one has a
- 14:49Speaker 16: bigger gold seal, a bolder United States of America. And
- 14:52Speaker 16: the best part, I think, Sammy, I think this is
- 14:55Speaker 16: for you. In the interior pages.
- 14:57Speaker 8: If you flip it like a flip book, it looks
- 14:59Speaker 8: like the eagle is flying.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Oh, cute.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Follow.
- 15:02Speaker 4: Guys, there's way too much talk about what the passport
- 15:04Speaker 4: looks like.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Who cares?
- 15:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 15:06Speaker 4: The cool thing about this is that now you can
- 15:09Speaker 4: do the entire thing online.
- 15:10Speaker 8: That's the big headline.
- 15:11Speaker 4: Without going down to the, you know, get the stupid
- 15:14Speaker 4: photo done at one place and then take all the
- 15:16Speaker 4: paperwork and do all that and then go bring it
- 15:18Speaker 4: to the other place.
- 15:19Speaker 2: That's awesome. You can do everything.
- 15:20Speaker 3: See, that.
- 15:21Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 15:22Speaker 8: That's the headline. All you have to do is go
- 15:23Speaker 8: to login.gov. Just upload your photo. You pay. You can
- 15:27Speaker 8: track it in real time.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Great.
- 15:29Speaker 3: It's awesome.
- 15:29Speaker 16: And Mark Rubio was doing this presentation about it. He said,
- 15:32Speaker 16: no printing forms, no drugstore hostage photo.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Yeah, great.
- 15:35Speaker 14: No middleman.
- 15:36Speaker 2: That's the story.
- 15:37Speaker 4: Who cares what it looks like?
- 15:38Speaker 2: I know.
- 15:38Speaker 8: I just thought Sammy would like the eagle.
- 15:40Speaker 2: I wonder if there's less pages, though, because no one
- 15:43Speaker 2: stamps anything anymore.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Yeah, they're not even stamping anymore.
- 15:44Speaker 16: That is my favorite part. The only good part of
- 15:47Speaker 16: having a passport.
- 15:48Speaker 4: You also put the stickers on your luggage.
- 15:50Speaker 8: And I was never that guy.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. It's too old timing.
- 15:54Speaker 16: You don't need to know where I've been. But also,
- 15:56Speaker 16: don't worry if you have an existing passport. It's still
- 15:58Speaker 16: valid till it expires. You don't have to get this
- 16:00Speaker 16: new one.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Check when mine expires.
- 16:01Speaker 8: Yeah, please do that.
- 16:03Speaker 16: And finally, that new Tom Cruise movie is out today.
- 16:06Speaker 16: The one called Digger. He plays the world's most powerful
- 16:09Speaker 16: man trying to save humanity from a disaster he caused himself.
- 16:13Speaker 16: Not getting great reviews. I think that's projected to make
- 16:15Speaker 16: like $ 8 million.
- 16:16Speaker 2: What?
- 16:18Speaker 8: Yeah, I just saw a headline, $ 8 to $ 12 million.
- 16:20Speaker 16: Also, from what I'm hearing, is a big old stinker, Verity,
- 16:24Speaker 16: the Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson movie, also with Josh Hartnett.
- 16:28Speaker 16: I was actually excited to see that, but I've seen
- 16:30Speaker 16: some pretty bad reviews. And then there's the Owen Wilson
- 16:33Speaker 16: and Matt Rife movie, Rolling Loud, the movie. That's where
- 16:35Speaker 16: Owen Wilson's character loses his son at Rolling Loud and
- 16:39Speaker 16: chaos ensues while they try to find him.
- 16:41Speaker 8: So have fun with that this weekend, everybody. And I
- 16:43Speaker 8: think Sammy's going to a couple of those. I'm going
- 16:45Speaker 8: to go see Digger. Okay, so let us know what
- 16:47Speaker 8: you think.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Well, she's got that pass, right?
- 16:49Speaker 12: Yeah, the AMC movie pass. So I already scheduled to
- 16:52Speaker 12: see Digger, and then all these reviews came out that
- 16:55Speaker 12: it's one of the worst movies of the year.
- 16:57Speaker 2: But what do you care? It's all included in whatever the...
- 17:00Speaker 2: It's not free, but it's included in whatever the fee
- 17:02Speaker 2: that you pay. So go see it.
- 17:04Speaker 12: Yeah, no, I'm still going to go see it, but
- 17:05Speaker 12: I'm like, oh no, should I have looked into other options?
- 17:08Speaker 8: Sometimes the really weird bad ones end up being my favorites.
- 17:11Speaker 4: So does Steamboat Willie, does your boyfriend go to these
- 17:15Speaker 4: movies with you?
- 17:16Speaker 12: Yeah, he had the pass before I did. He is
- 17:18Speaker 12: a movie person. He sees like every movie all the time.
- 17:21Speaker 8: He signed me up for this.
- 17:22Speaker 2: I didn't even know.
- 17:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I knew this was like a newer thing for her,
- 17:25Speaker 4: but I was like, okay, now that she's living with somebody,
- 17:27Speaker 4: did she buy this to escape and get away and
- 17:30Speaker 4: have like her own alone time?
- 17:31Speaker 14: Oh no, they go together.
- 17:32Speaker 12: Yeah, we go together and he's had one for years.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Okay.
- 17:35Speaker 2: All right.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:36Speaker 8: Well, that's what's going on, Woody.
- 17:37Speaker 3: All right.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Gina Grand.
- 17:38Speaker 8: You got it.
- 17:41Speaker 2: All right. We are having a conversation about being late.
- 17:51Speaker 4: And if somebody says, you know, I'll be there in
- 17:55Speaker 4: five minutes. What does that really mean?
- 17:58Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Liar. Yeah. We were asking T.O.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Tim. So showing up 15 minutes late is acceptable to
- 18:05Speaker 4: most people.
- 18:07Speaker 2: But then how late can you be before it's officially rude?
- 18:12Speaker 4: Right now, the right on time people like Greg mentioned,
- 18:16Speaker 4: he doesn't like right on time.
- 18:17Speaker 3: If it's a dinner party, for example.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Right. And that's what I said, too.
- 18:21Speaker 4: If it's a meal, you're going to someone's house for
- 18:24Speaker 4: a meal, sit down meal. They prepare dinner or, you know,
- 18:27Speaker 4: like whatever. Not just, hey, come over, watch the game.
- 18:30Speaker 4: There's going to be food out. Not one of those situations.
- 18:32Speaker 2: You know, if they're planning a meal, they're trying to
- 18:36Speaker 2: time it out.
- 18:37Speaker 11: Right.
- 18:37Speaker 2: So it's all ready.
- 18:38Speaker 3: I still say there's like a 15, 20 minute window.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:42Speaker 4: For a social thing. But just in general, even for
- 18:46Speaker 4: whatever it is.
- 18:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:47Speaker 2: So you don't like right on time. Not really. But
- 18:49Speaker 2: what's too late?
- 18:52Speaker 3: Hour?
- 18:52Speaker 2: An hour is too late.
- 18:53Speaker 8: Oh, I'd say like a half hour.
- 18:55Speaker 4: I was going to say more like a half hour.
- 18:56Speaker 2: 30 minutes. Yeah.
- 18:57Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 18:58Speaker 4: The normal by the numbers on this one is 29 minutes. Okay. Yeah,
- 19:03Speaker 4: without being rude. If you show up any later, don't
- 19:07Speaker 4: even bother going at all. 26% arriving an hour late
- 19:10Speaker 4: basically breaks the rules of etiquette.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Okay.
- 19:13Speaker 8: Unless that's discussed ahead of time, yeah.
- 19:15Speaker 4: People quick with the excuses. A lot of people say,
- 19:17Speaker 4: I'm five minutes away. That's the biggest lie. Or, you know,
- 19:21Speaker 4: they go, they'll get it. I'm just leaving now. When
- 19:25Speaker 4: they're already there and waiting for you, like you're going
- 19:27Speaker 4: to be meeting somebody somewhere.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Yeah, that's annoying.
- 19:30Speaker 6: Yes.
- 19:32Speaker 2: But doctor's appointments, for example, I get there way too early.
- 19:36Speaker 8: Oh, they don't care about us.
- 19:37Speaker 2: They don't care about us. And then you wait even longer.
- 19:39Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 19:40Speaker 4: I love when they'll say, if you're not here within
- 19:43Speaker 4: five minutes or ten minutes.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Of your appointment... We're canceling. We're going to cancel. And
- 19:47Speaker 2: charge you. But meanwhile... if.
- 19:50Speaker 4: You get there, you'd be sitting there for 45 minutes.
- 19:52Speaker 8: Yeah, you're just lucky.
- 19:53Speaker 2: To be there. Yeah, they don't care.
- 19:55Speaker 16: It's the same thing with dinner reservations, too. Like, sorry,
- 19:58Speaker 16: this table is still, you know, finishing up. But we'll
- 20:01Speaker 16: give you a seven-minute grace period before we cancel your reservation.
- 20:04Speaker 8: I'm like, bitch.
- 20:05Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:06Speaker 4: Yeah, what are we talking about here?
- 20:07Speaker 2: I'll be down the street at McDonald's.
- 20:08Speaker 14: Yeah, exactly.
- 20:10Speaker 4: Influencers strike again, you guys.
- 20:12Speaker 8: Now what?
- 20:13Speaker 2: One of them walked.
- 20:14Speaker 4: Into Pat's Cheesesteaks in Philly, ordered a normal cheesesteak. After
- 20:19Speaker 4: they got it, they came back a few minutes later
- 20:21Speaker 4: and started bitching at the employee about how it wasn't good.
- 20:24Speaker 1: What?
- 20:24Speaker 8: Cheesesteaks are always good.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Yeah, Pat's, they're great.
- 20:27Speaker 4: And then everything went downhill from there.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Here's a clip from the local news.
- 20:30Speaker 4: Now, warning. There's a fun accent right here.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 20:34Speaker 10: The person showed up with a camera and tripod, leading
- 20:37Speaker 10: him to believe he may be an influencer. He ordered
- 20:40Speaker 10: a cheesesteak with whiz and onions, then came back a
- 20:43Speaker 10: few minutes later.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Hit me in the face. He stood at the window
- 20:47Speaker 2: and then he took off running down the street.
- 20:48Speaker 14: Turns around and he says to me, well, he says
- 20:51Speaker 14: it's garbage. Why would you throw a cheesesteak in someone's face?
- 20:54Speaker 2: That's assault. I'm thinking about offering a $ 5, 000 cash reward
- 20:58Speaker 2: for the arrest of prosecution and jailment of this person
- 21:01Speaker 2: for assault and battery on my manager.
- 21:03Speaker 4: Yeah, threw the cheesesteak at the dude.
- 21:05Speaker 8: Yeah, as you guys would say, actually, that's battery.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 21:10Speaker 8: That's crazy.
- 21:12Speaker 16: Is this just some, like, quote-unquote influencer who's trying to
- 21:16Speaker 16: rage bait people?
- 21:17Speaker 8: Like, he's like, just pranking.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Sounds like a weirdo.
- 21:19Speaker 16: Yeah, but by bringing a tripod and throwing a sandwich
- 21:22Speaker 16: at somebody? Like, that was the plan all along.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Had to be. I mean, yeah, I'm not sure.
- 21:29Speaker 4: What an a-hole. What this guy's deal is. Everybody's losing
- 21:32Speaker 4: their minds.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Here's the thing.
- 21:32Speaker 4: When you walk in with a tripod and a camera.
- 21:35Speaker 8: You got a plan.
- 21:36Speaker 2: You have a plan. Yeah, yeah. Who the hell's walking
- 21:38Speaker 2: around with a tripod and a camera?
- 21:40Speaker 8: Zero people.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:43Speaker 4: You know, I agree with, what's his face? Pete Davidson.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Yes. Talking about influencers. That was the best. It's true.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Everybody thinks they're a thing, right? Yeah. What do you
- 21:56Speaker 2: really do? Yeah.
- 21:57Speaker 4: Okay, let's assume you are an influencer. You're going into
- 21:59Speaker 4: Pat's Cheesesteaks, and you're just going to make a scene.
- 22:02Speaker 4: That's what you do? What's the end game?
- 22:04Speaker 8: Is this your purpose?
- 22:05Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Where's the value in that?
- 22:10Speaker 4: Entertainment value? Any kind of value? Where's the value in that?
- 22:13Speaker 2: Yeah, and if you're going to try to do that
- 22:15Speaker 2: for a living, I don't know any platform is going
- 22:18Speaker 2: to pay you for that.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:19Speaker 2: They're going to demonetize you.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:21Speaker 4: That Pete Davidson clip is fine. I keep seeing it
- 22:23Speaker 4: pop up everywhere. He was like, dude, just him on
- 22:26Speaker 4: info and how he's like, dude, this is, I'm officially
- 22:28Speaker 4: feeling old now.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:29Speaker 2: It's pretty funny. It makes me sad.
- 22:31Speaker 18: You know, girls are just talking to themselves on there
- 22:35Speaker 18: and they're like, okay, come get ready with me. And
- 22:38Speaker 18: I'm like, who the fuck are you?
- 22:40Speaker 2: What do you do?
- 22:42Speaker 14: Nothing.
- 22:43Speaker 18: What the fuck is this?
- 22:45Speaker 2: They make 40 million a year.
- 22:47Speaker 6: What?
- 22:47Speaker 2: And then I'm like, The world's broken.
- 22:49Speaker 18: There's girls my age that go on TikTok and they'll
- 22:53Speaker 18: like mutter like a thing and then do this like dance.
- 22:57Speaker 18: And I'm like, what the f * * * are
- 22:58Speaker 18: you doing?
- 22:59Speaker 2: This is insane.
- 23:01Speaker 18: Does no one else see how f * * *
- 23:02Speaker 18: ing insane and lame this is? And these girls are
- 23:05Speaker 18: like super famous. Like everyone's like, oh my God, I
- 23:08Speaker 18: can't believe. And I'm like, what?
- 23:12Speaker 2: I don't know. This is the first time I felt
- 23:13Speaker 2: really old. But I do think about it like once
- 23:16Speaker 2: a week. I'm like, should I.
- 23:17Speaker 18: Just start an OnlyFans and show soft.
- 23:19Speaker 2: * * * *?
- 23:20Speaker 18: Like really tight underwear and just soft * * * *
- 23:23Speaker 18: and retire?
- 23:23Speaker 2: Just show like soft penis. Yeah. Gina says yes, you should.
- 23:28Speaker 14: No, thank you.
- 23:29Speaker 2: He's rumored to have like a huge dong, right? Well, yeah.
- 23:32Speaker 8: Big D energy.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:34Speaker 6: And I mean.
- 23:35Speaker 2: He's not wrong. He could easily do that and just retire. Oh,
- 23:37Speaker 2: he could. Because he's already famous. But like if some
- 23:40Speaker 2: non-famous person just decided to, you know, do Oli fans
- 23:45Speaker 2: where you're showing soft penis. Right. You know? Yeah.
- 23:49Speaker 16: And the other thing, too, especially having an 11-year-old, it's
- 23:52Speaker 16: not that these influencers just think they're cool.
- 23:54Speaker 8: They think they're really funny. So he'll show us like
- 23:57Speaker 8: a meme. And my husband and I are like, we
- 23:59Speaker 8: don't get it. That's not funny at all. oh, it's
- 24:01Speaker 8: just this kid, though, and he says this phrase over
- 24:03Speaker 8: and over.
- 24:03Speaker 16: Totally.
- 24:04Speaker 8: Why is that funny? I don't know.
- 24:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:06Speaker 14: Yeah, it's not funny.
- 24:07Speaker 4: Text coming over on the being late thing.
- 24:09Speaker 2: A lot of people annoyed. Man, I hate it when
- 24:12Speaker 2: people are late at a dinner party, meeting at a restaurant.
- 24:14Speaker 3: I hate it.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Don't be late.
- 24:17Speaker 4: This person says, old work policy was if you're more
- 24:20Speaker 4: than 10 minutes late, you're considered late.
- 24:23Speaker 2: I've adopted that as a rule as an adult on
- 24:26Speaker 2: being on time, but I've also noticed that the younger crowd,
- 24:28Speaker 2: 26 and younger, Tends to be 30 to 40 minutes
- 24:31Speaker 2: late all the time.
- 24:33Speaker 5: Damn.
- 24:33Speaker 2: To the point where I started lying about the meetup
- 24:35Speaker 2: time to anybody around that age.
- 24:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:38Speaker 2: I do that with my wife. Yeah.
- 24:40Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 24:40Speaker 2: If I know that, man, we need to be wheels up.
- 24:43Speaker 2: We need to be out of the house, in the car,
- 24:45Speaker 2: pulling out of the driveway.
- 24:46Speaker 4: You know, let's just say it's at five o'clock.
- 24:48Speaker 2: I'll tell her 445. Because inevitably.
- 24:52Speaker 4: She won't be ready at 4.45. She'll need another five
- 24:55Speaker 4: or ten minutes, or she'll be dicking around. This is
- 24:58Speaker 4: when she starts to putz around the house. This is
- 25:01Speaker 4: when all of a sudden, now we're unloading the dishwasher,
- 25:03Speaker 4: we're leaving!
- 25:05Speaker 2: I know, it gets me so mad. What are we doing?
- 25:07Speaker 16: But does she get pissed if she finds out you
- 25:09Speaker 16: did that? That you intentionally gave her a different time?
- 25:12Speaker 2: I don't tell her.
- 25:13Speaker 8: You never tell her?
- 25:14Speaker 6: No.
- 25:15Speaker 2: She doesn't need to know.
- 25:15Speaker 8: That's true.
- 25:16Speaker 4: I am.
- 25:19Speaker 4: I am doing the calculation of how much, like when
- 25:21Speaker 4: they go, well, what time do we need to leave
- 25:22Speaker 4: for the airport? Well, the flight's at whatever. It boards
- 25:25Speaker 4: at this time. I want to be there an hour
- 25:27Speaker 4: before boarding. It's going to take us X number of
- 25:30Speaker 4: minutes to get to the airport. Let's assume this time
- 25:32Speaker 4: of day is going to be a little bit more traffic.
- 25:34Speaker 4: I'll give us an extra hour. 15 minutes.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Oh, we have to return the car. I'll give us
- 25:37Speaker 2: an extra 10 minutes for that. Now I have, now
- 25:39Speaker 2: I have a time. All right.
- 25:40Speaker 4: Well, how important is it that we are right on time?
- 25:43Speaker 4: Is it one of those things that I'll just show
- 25:44Speaker 4: up sometime anytime after two? That's a different, that's a
- 25:47Speaker 4: different thing, but it's.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Like, oh, we're meeting somebody.
- 25:49Speaker 4: We have a reservation at a restaurant at six o'clock.
- 25:52Speaker 4: I go, man, we need to leave at five. I'm
- 25:54Speaker 4: telling this bitch 445.
- 25:55Speaker 2: You have to. You have to.
- 25:57Speaker 4: So now we know.
- 25:59Speaker 2: It's the same way you would plan for all these
- 26:00Speaker 2: other things.
- 26:01Speaker 8: I get it.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Yeah, you have to do the calculation.
- 26:03Speaker 8: So now we know where your son gets it. Because
- 26:05Speaker 8: you said he has that problem.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Oh, he's chronically, like, he's just unaware of time. Yeah.
- 26:10Speaker 8: And unmoved by, like, the pressure.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:13Speaker 4: And whether that's for, like, you know, he's got this job.
- 26:16Speaker 4: He refs, like, youth hockey games.
- 26:18Speaker 2: And stuff like that.
- 26:19Speaker 6: I'm like.
- 26:20Speaker 4: The game starts at a certain time. All the parents
- 26:22Speaker 4: got their kids there.
- 26:23Speaker 2: They're ready. The teams are there.
- 26:25Speaker 3: The kids are there.
- 26:26Speaker 4: They're ready to go. And at one point, he was
- 26:29Speaker 4: so late that the other ref was calling because the
- 26:33Speaker 4: coaches were like, because they weren't allowed to start the
- 26:35Speaker 4: game until he got there.
- 26:36Speaker 6: Of course.
- 26:37Speaker 2: I'm like, dude, you're a dick.
- 26:38Speaker 3: What are you doing?
- 26:39Speaker 8: And it's not like you can just walk on the ice.
- 26:40Speaker 8: I mean, there's a lot of stuff to put on.
- 26:42Speaker 2: He goes, it's fine. I mean, it's not fine.
- 26:44Speaker 3: It's not.
- 26:45Speaker 2: It's really not.
- 26:45Speaker 4: Think about how many players. And these are little kids.
- 26:48Speaker 4: All their parents drove them there. You're not respecting other
- 26:51Speaker 4: people's time. That's what drives me. If it's your own
- 26:54Speaker 4: time you're wasting, fine. It's when you waste other people's time.
- 26:58Speaker 4: When you're inconveniencing somebody else. You're not taking into consideration
- 27:01Speaker 4: somebody else. They put this dinner together. They're trying to
- 27:04Speaker 4: have a nice dinner, have it all timed out. So
- 27:06Speaker 4: then when the company that they invited, you made the list.
- 27:08Speaker 2: You made the cut. They think enough of you to
- 27:12Speaker 2: They think enough of you to invite them into their
- 27:13Speaker 2: home and cook you a meal and feed you. And
- 27:17Speaker 2: the least you can do is be on time.
- 27:19Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 27:20Speaker 4: This attitude toward being late is insane.
- 27:22Speaker 2: I know. Do you remember, like, we had a person
- 27:26Speaker 2: that was chronically, this is years ago. Years. I'm talking
- 27:29Speaker 2: like 2006. 20 years ago.
- 27:32Speaker 4: We had this person that was working on a show
- 27:34Speaker 4: and she was always late. And I gave her the
- 27:36Speaker 4: benefit of the doubt once, twice, three times.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Finally, I said, hey, look.
- 27:40Speaker 4: Next time, because it was all within a pretty short, like,
- 27:42Speaker 4: you know, within the course of a few weeks ago.
- 27:45Speaker 4: Next time, because your job is just to be here
- 27:46Speaker 4: by the time the show starts. You don't have to
- 27:48Speaker 4: be here any earlier. When the show starts, you got
- 27:51Speaker 4: to be here. And people were saying that I was
- 27:54Speaker 4: the dick.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Yeah. People are late sometimes.
- 27:58Speaker 3: That's everything nowadays, though.
- 27:59Speaker 8: What about all the time?
- 28:00Speaker 2: I'm like, it's a job. Right. The show goes on
- 28:04Speaker 2: at a certain time.
- 28:05Speaker 11: Right.
- 28:06Speaker 2: You just have to be here at that time. That's it. Yeah, exactly.
- 28:10Speaker 2: That's the only responsibility.
- 28:12Speaker 4: Like, I'm the dick because you accepted a job that
- 28:14Speaker 4: you know you've got to be here at a certain time.
- 28:16Speaker 4: I've given you the last three where I go, all right,
- 28:19Speaker 4: things happen.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Cars, whatever. Breakdown. Sometimes, yeah. Something where, you know, the
- 28:24Speaker 2: alarm didn't go or you overslept.
- 28:26Speaker 6: Right.
- 28:26Speaker 4: I get it. And if it's every once in a while,
- 28:29Speaker 4: that's fine. You know the people we're talking about. They're
- 28:31Speaker 4: chronically late. And when you call them out on it
- 28:33Speaker 4: or there's some kind of repercussion for it.
- 28:36Speaker 6: You're the jerk.
- 28:36Speaker 2: You're the jerk. Not them. Yeah. I have family members, too. Like,
- 28:42Speaker 2: everybody will agree we're leaving at noon to go to lunch. Yep.
- 28:47Speaker 2: And we ask, where's such and such? Oh, they're upstairs, like,
- 28:51Speaker 2: still doing their hair. Then bye. And then also, when
- 28:56Speaker 2: they finally get outside, they walk the slowest. You know? Just, like,
- 29:01Speaker 2: looking around, taking their time. Some people run. You see
- 29:02Speaker 2: those people?
- 29:04Speaker 4: If you're being nice, you pull into a parking lot.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Uh-huh. And you didn't have to let them go. They
- 29:08Speaker 2: were standing on the curb.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Right.
- 29:10Speaker 2: But you go, oh, go ahead. And man, it's almost
- 29:13Speaker 2: like they intentionally go slow. Yes.
- 29:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 29:15Speaker 8: I'd like my wave.
- 29:17Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Yeah. They don't acknowledge either. Yeah. Yeah.
- 29:21Speaker 3: I feel kind of vindicated because, you know, I'm obsessed
- 29:23Speaker 3: with price tags and their accuracy.
- 29:25Speaker 2: That's the thing.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Along those lines, Woody, like you expect somebody to be
- 29:29Speaker 3: on time. You're the dick. And I expect them to
- 29:32Speaker 3: honor the price that they say they're charging. And then
- 29:34Speaker 3: it's like, God, Greg, relax.
- 29:36Speaker 2: You're such a Karen.
- 29:38Speaker 3: No, I'm not.
- 29:40Speaker 2: The dick. They're the dick. Yeah.
- 29:42Speaker 4: What's the, oh, I'm trying to remember the exact same
- 29:46Speaker 4: thing that I go, dude, it's not so much to
- 29:48Speaker 4: ask that you be on time for a job that
- 29:51Speaker 4: you're being paid for.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Yep.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Right.
- 29:53Speaker 2: Boomer. Yeah.
- 29:55Speaker 6: What?
- 29:55Speaker 2: Right.
- 29:58Speaker 16: Super ultra young boomer.
- 30:00Speaker 2: What? What?
- 30:01Speaker 6: Boomer?
- 30:02Speaker 2: You want your house clean? God, relax.
- 30:04Speaker 8: These prices are insane.
- 30:07Speaker 17: Man, looking at the text, a lot of people feel
- 30:15Speaker 17: heard talking about people and being late.
- 30:20Speaker 2: It's a struggle, man. How late... before. It's just rude. Yeah.
- 30:24Speaker 2: You know, we gave you some normal by the numbers
- 30:26Speaker 2: on that before the break and kind of recapping what
- 30:30Speaker 2: we were talking about with Tio Tim asking him that
- 30:33Speaker 2: question too. If you saw that video on our Instagram
- 30:34Speaker 2: at the Woody show, you can see that, but that
- 30:36Speaker 2: was educational. Yeah.
- 30:37Speaker 4: Jeff, Jeff G had something to add to the conversation.
- 30:40Speaker 4: I just, about time and time awareness.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:44Speaker 9: I don't know if this happens to you, Menace and Woody,
- 30:46Speaker 9: but wherever my wife goes, she's Even if it's a
- 30:50Speaker 9: 30-minute appointment, she doesn't come back until three and a
- 30:53Speaker 9: half hours later.
- 30:55Speaker 2: You know? I'm going to get the mail. And then
- 30:57Speaker 2: two hours later, she's back.
- 30:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:59Speaker 2: And it's unbelievable. She just did it like two days ago.
- 31:02Speaker 2: I'm going to PT. The PT's from 2 to 2.30.
- 31:05Speaker 2: She's back like at 5.
- 31:08Speaker 9: And I know it's not a side piece or Sancho
- 31:10Speaker 9: or whatever, because I have her location. But she just
- 31:14Speaker 9: makes this list up in her head of what she's
- 31:16Speaker 9: got to go do while she's out.
- 31:18Speaker 2: But she doesn't communicate it. So I'm kind of sitting
- 31:20Speaker 2: there like, what are we doing for dinner? I don't know.
- 31:23Speaker 2: I don't even know where she is. And then I
- 31:25Speaker 2: text her. And of course... She doesn't answer.
- 31:28Speaker 8: She ignores the text.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Ignores the text. See, I would be paranoid about that.
- 31:32Speaker 8: Yeah, but he has her location.
- 31:34Speaker 3: Yeah, because if Mario has to run to the store
- 31:36Speaker 3: to get like three things, me, that would take seven minutes. Him,
- 31:41Speaker 3: two and a half hours.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 31:42Speaker 17: Same deal.
- 31:43Speaker 2: And then I think, what's he doing?
- 31:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:46Speaker 3: You know, it makes me paranoid.
- 31:48Speaker 8: But if I'm at the grocery store and I need
- 31:49Speaker 8: two things, I'll come back with 18 bags. I'm like, oh, well,
- 31:52Speaker 8: while I'm here.
- 31:54Speaker 2: On the other side of it. That part too, by
- 31:55Speaker 2: the way. She's good for that.
- 31:58Speaker 9: She has a shopping list, buys everything that's not on
- 32:00Speaker 9: the shopping list and forgets what's on the shopping list.
- 32:02Speaker 8: The shopping list is just a suggestion.
- 32:03Speaker 2: But just the answer, like when I'm out with the
- 32:06Speaker 2: family and we all agreed we're going to go home,
- 32:10Speaker 2: for some reason on the way home, there's 10 suggestions
- 32:13Speaker 2: to go to 10 other places on the way home.
- 32:15Speaker 2: And that's why It takes so long, you know? Can't
- 32:17Speaker 2: just go home.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Yeah, speaking of forgetting things on the list, so my wife,
- 32:22Speaker 4: I was sick, and my wife says, do you want
- 32:24Speaker 4: me to get anything?
- 32:25Speaker 2: I'm running out to the store. Do you need anything?
- 32:26Speaker 2: I go, you know what? I would really like whatever
- 32:28Speaker 2: it was. Gatorade. Yeah, whatever.
- 32:30Speaker 4: I asked for one thing. She came back two hours later.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 32:35Speaker 4: What's the one thing she didn't have? The one thing
- 32:37Speaker 4: that the sick person requested. Now, I'm not one of
- 32:39Speaker 4: those husbands that wants you to wait on me.
- 32:41Speaker 2: I don't need to be baby. In fact, I want
- 32:43Speaker 2: the opposite. I want to be left alone when I'm sick.
- 32:46Speaker 2: I don't need anything from you. Just give me peace.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Just the Gatorade.
- 32:50Speaker 4: Let me just rest or whatever. But man, the one thing, hey,
- 32:53Speaker 4: you know what? If you are gone, and a lot
- 32:55Speaker 4: of times, even if I'm sick, I will get up,
- 32:58Speaker 4: leave the house, go get my own stuff.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Oh, that's the worst.
- 33:00Speaker 4: I don't even ask anybody for anything. Yeah, but the
- 33:02Speaker 4: one thing I asked for, she didn't bring back.
- 33:04Speaker 10: Oh, no.
- 33:05Speaker 2: I think it's pretty obvious that she hates you. Yeah. Yeah,
- 33:07Speaker 2: pretty much.
- 33:08Speaker 3: She might take the same thing about me, too, Greg.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so. I'm not a fan. Yeah. But, like,
- 33:13Speaker 2: what if you text her....
- 33:17Speaker 4: She won't get back to you, but if she texts
- 33:19Speaker 4: you and you didn't get back to her, would she
- 33:22Speaker 4: be pissed?
- 33:22Speaker 2: Oh, hell yeah. Yeah? Yeah, for sure. Where you at, bitch? Listen,
- 33:28Speaker 2: I'm cool with whatever adventure she wants to go on.
- 33:31Speaker 2: She's grown. I trust her. She's awesome.
- 33:33Speaker 9: Just communicate, like, you know, for things like dinner or whatever.
- 33:37Speaker 9: So I, you know, I know what's up. Hey, you
- 33:39Speaker 9: want me to walk the dogs?
- 33:39Speaker 2: Cool, I got you. But just communicate. Yeah.
- 33:42Speaker 4: I mean, there are times I get it where you
- 33:44Speaker 4: go to, especially like a Costco kind of place, and
- 33:46Speaker 4: you may be there for a couple of days. Yeah,
- 33:49Speaker 4: that's not my fault. Same thing could be said about
- 33:51Speaker 4: Target or, Greg, for you, HomeGoods.
- 33:54Speaker 2: Oh, good luck. That's a great example.
- 33:55Speaker 4: For me, Home Depot. I'll go to Home Depot because
- 33:58Speaker 4: I need one thing. You bet I'm looking around.
- 34:01Speaker 8: I'll just go to Home Depot because I like the smell.
- 34:03Speaker 2: I'm strolling. I'm looking. I don't even know what I'm
- 34:06Speaker 2: looking for, but I'll know it when I see it.
- 34:08Speaker 2: What's the latest in ceiling fans? And that's where you
- 34:10Speaker 2: get the time bloat.
- 34:11Speaker 8: But I'm a.
- 34:12Speaker 16: Hypocrite because if it's something I want to do, like
- 34:15Speaker 16: if I'm alone, like, oh, my God, I have so
- 34:17Speaker 16: many places I could go. But if I'm on errands
- 34:19Speaker 16: with somebody else, like, oh, can we just do a quick. No,
- 34:21Speaker 16: I don't want any more quick stops. I don't want
- 34:23Speaker 16: to go on your errands.
- 34:24Speaker 8: I want to go on my errands.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:27Speaker 4: That's why I'd rather not go. There are couples that
- 34:29Speaker 4: I know. One person's not allowed to go to the
- 34:32Speaker 4: grocery store by themselves. They both have to go.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Not allowed to. Oh, that's horrible.
- 34:36Speaker 8: I don't get it.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:37Speaker 4: It's like he'll say. I'm just going to run to
- 34:39Speaker 4: the store for a couple things. I'll go with you.
- 34:42Speaker 8: Ew, no.
- 34:44Speaker 2: I would hate to go to the grocery store.
- 34:45Speaker 4: There's no separation. They have to. She needs to be wherever.
- 34:51Speaker 4: I don't think it's a trust thing.
- 34:52Speaker 8: So it's not grocery store specific. It's anywhere he goes.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Don't want to be alone.
- 34:56Speaker 4: Anything.
- 34:58Speaker 8: God, I love doing errands alone.
- 34:59Speaker 4: Yeah, that would drive me nuts. Now, if my wife
- 35:02Speaker 4: says she's going to go out, cool, see ya, because
- 35:05Speaker 4: I know how it's going to go.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Kind of like Jeff's wife.
- 35:07Speaker 6: Yep.
- 35:08Speaker 4: Because she'll leave having a rough idea, but no real
- 35:12Speaker 4: specific plan. And then there's the bloat. And next thing
- 35:15Speaker 4: you know, it's been forever. I go, are we done yet?
- 35:18Speaker 2: Why are you rushing me? We've been here an hour.
- 35:20Speaker 8: I couldn't handle that. Then don't come.
- 35:23Speaker 2: That's how I am. Don't come.
- 35:24Speaker 8: Just let me do my thing and keep your mouth shut.
- 35:26Speaker 8: If you want to come or just not come.
- 35:28Speaker 4: Shame on me because I've been suckered a couple times thinking, oh,
- 35:30Speaker 4: this is going to be a quick thing.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Oh, and you know what? We're going to have lunch
- 35:32Speaker 2: while we're out. Okay, cool.
- 35:33Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 35:34Speaker 4: Oh, I'll go for lunch. Then on the way back,
- 35:35Speaker 4: we'll stop and get the one thing at Target. Well,
- 35:37Speaker 4: now we've been at Target for over an hour.
- 35:39Speaker 2: That's trickery.
- 35:40Speaker 8: I do not like it.
- 35:41Speaker 2: And as she's just kind of like aimlessly going through,
- 35:44Speaker 2: I'm like, what did we come here for? And she's like,
- 35:46Speaker 2: why are you rushing me? It's been an hour.
- 35:48Speaker 8: That's what I'm talking about. I'm not doing your errands.
- 35:51Speaker 2: No.
- 35:52Speaker 8: You said lunch.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Right.
- 35:53Speaker 4: 877-44-WOODY.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Text us over to 22987.
- 35:54Speaker 4: Take that quick break. Somebody said, my wife will go
- 36:03Speaker 4: to the grocery store. She'll be back in 45 minutes.
- 36:06Speaker 4: Three hours later, she comes home. Having stopped at five
- 36:09Speaker 4: different places before the grocery store. One time I went
- 36:12Speaker 4: to the grocery store and she texted me 30 minutes
- 36:15Speaker 4: later asking me where was I and why was it
- 36:16Speaker 4: taking so long.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Who are you? What are you talking about? More Woody
- 36:21Speaker 2: Shows next. The Woody Show returns right after these messages.
- 36:28Speaker 2: The Woody Show. I like that very much. All right, Menace. Yes.
- 36:34Speaker 2: Birthday month update. Ooh, yeah. Do you want to give
- 36:38Speaker 2: my personal update?
- 36:39Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Okay, yes. Where are we at? You announced the list. Yes,
- 36:44Speaker 2: the list is available. Any kind of movement? Yeah, great
- 36:47Speaker 2: movement already on the Woody Show Instagram if you want
- 36:50Speaker 2: to check out the full list. But I got word
- 36:54Speaker 2: yesterday most likely that I will be able to give
- 36:56Speaker 2: away two 98-inch televisions. Thanks to TCL. One will be
- 37:02Speaker 2: available for a giveaway on our Instagram page at the
- 37:05Speaker 2: Woody show on Instagram. So once I can get that
- 37:08Speaker 2: all done and ready to go, you'll be able to
- 37:11Speaker 2: go to our Instagram and be able to enter to
- 37:13Speaker 2: win that. That's awesome. I got multiple people hit me
- 37:16Speaker 2: up about that surf spot that I want to go
- 37:20Speaker 2: to desert surf about taking a listener to learn how
- 37:23Speaker 2: to surf and I can learn how to surf as well. So,
- 37:26Speaker 2: Hopefully that will be set up and somebody else reached
- 37:29Speaker 2: out about getting a movie theater together for us to
- 37:33Speaker 2: have a listener watch party for the new Street Fighter movie.
- 37:38Speaker 2: I saw a lot of interest in the Extreme Weekend
- 37:40Speaker 2: trip to London to go to the Raising Cane's that
- 37:43Speaker 2: they're opening in London. For sure. Anything on that? No,
- 37:47Speaker 2: I mean, it's going to get done either way. Like
- 37:49Speaker 2: if I fund it or somebody else funds it, it'll
- 37:52Speaker 2: be done. And then I assume we'll maybe do that
- 37:55Speaker 2: on our Instagram as well. Okay. We'll keep everybody updated.
- 37:59Speaker 2: Menace's birthday month, October. He lives for it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 38:04Speaker 4: Only grown man we know that celebrates his birthday for
- 38:06Speaker 4: an entire month.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Yeah, on Earth.
- 38:08Speaker 3: The surf thing, would it be like one lesson or
- 38:11Speaker 3: would it be, because it's going to take a minute
- 38:13Speaker 3: to learn to surf. Yeah?
- 38:14Speaker 2: People do that on vacations. I mean, they don't spend
- 38:16Speaker 2: the entire week. People do. Menace, though.
- 38:18Speaker 3: And I know you grew up skateboarding, so maybe that's
- 38:21Speaker 3: an advantage.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know. He can't squat to the ground. Right.
- 38:26Speaker 2: That's true. I can. It's shocking. No, when we had
- 38:29Speaker 2: Tony Horton here.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Okay, no.
- 38:31Speaker 2: When we had Tony Horton here.
- 38:32Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 38:33Speaker 2: Is that new? That is new, but his heels are
- 38:36Speaker 2: off the ground. Yeah, not totally flat.
- 38:38Speaker 4: Just a regular squat, like a regular standing squat, unassisted,
- 38:43Speaker 4: not weighted, not anything, just a squat.
- 38:45Speaker 2: Which on a surfboard, you don't have your heels on
- 38:47Speaker 2: the board, obviously, so maybe he's okay.
- 38:49Speaker 4: Yeah, like Menace was having to hold on to something
- 38:51Speaker 4: to get himself back up.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Now that was.
- 38:54Speaker 4: 40 plus pounds ago.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Oh, that was like 65 pounds ago. 65 pounds ago, so.
- 38:59Speaker 2: When you were fun. Yeah, maybe I had something to
- 39:03Speaker 2: do with it. Remember non-stop food drops? Remember that? Yeah.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Don't worry, I got some food on the way right now.
- 39:07Speaker 4: Menace, are you ready to be the star?
- 39:09Speaker 1: Yes.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Menace's Late Night Monologue Week in Review.
- 39:13Speaker 4: All right, Menace is working on his next career to
- 39:19Speaker 4: be a writer. for the late night monologues.
- 39:23Speaker 5: Yes.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Or maybe a future he loves SNL, maybe a future
- 39:28Speaker 2: doing Weekend Update.
- 39:30Speaker 15: I mean, they're pretty solid there, but I'll send you
- 39:33Speaker 15: some notes.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Have they heard this material? That's true. Yeah.
- 39:36Speaker 3: Who knows?
- 39:37Speaker 4: All right, so ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, it's
- 39:40Speaker 4: time for Medicine's Late Night Monologue Week in Review.
- 39:43Speaker 2: And here... Yo! What's up, everybody? Well, I didn't know
- 39:51Speaker 2: that Tennessee used Yoohoo when trying to execute people to
- 39:57Speaker 2: botch executions on the same day with the same lady. Look,
- 40:02Speaker 2: here's a tip, Tennessee. If you ever want to get
- 40:04Speaker 2: rid of a woman forever, all you got to do
- 40:07Speaker 2: is push a restaurant bill towards them. Dang!
- 40:11Speaker 5: And.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Boom, they're gone. It's called the Dutch Houdini. It works
- 40:18Speaker 2: every time. Every time. That's the best ever. Take that joke.
- 40:22Speaker 2: All right. I'm strong, starting strong. Diddy, a.k.a. Puffy, was
- 40:27Speaker 2: placed in solitary after being caught with a cell phone.
- 40:31Speaker 2: I don't know what's worse, no cell phone or solitary,
- 40:34Speaker 2: but at least it's still raining dongs. Am I right, Greg?
- 40:37Speaker 13: Yes.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Hashtag can't stop, won't stop.
- 40:41Speaker 4: All right.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Now, a penguin that escaped from a Tokyo zoo three
- 40:47Speaker 2: months ago returned.
- 40:49Speaker 4: On its own this week.
- 40:51Speaker 2: And when asked where the penguin might have gone, zoo
- 40:54Speaker 2: workers replied with, your mom's refrigerator, bitch. Nailed it.
- 41:02Speaker 3: Yep.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Nice.
- 41:04Speaker 3: Speaking of.
- 41:05Speaker 4: Thank you, Sammy.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Speaking of refrigerators, Gina, Woody... You're so supportive. Speaking of refrigerators, Gina, Woody,
- 41:14Speaker 2: and myself are on Zedbound. Morgan announced she's on Retta,
- 41:17Speaker 2: but unfortunately, Sammy, they still haven't come up with Whale
- 41:20Speaker 2: or True Tide yet. Oh, no! So you're kind of screwed.
- 41:25Speaker 2: More complaints. But nature will find a way, Sammy. You
- 41:29Speaker 2: got it. Did you guys hear that candy corn came
- 41:33Speaker 2: out with their own cologne?
- 41:34Speaker 18: No.
- 41:34Speaker 2: Yeah, it's available. And on the box it says you
- 41:39Speaker 2: can smell like-ish and taste-ish at the same time. Candy corn.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Candy corn.
- 41:45Speaker 2: Because their taste buds are garbage. Now available at Walmart.
- 41:49Speaker 2: All right. I was targeting Woody. Yeah. How about that
- 41:54Speaker 2: cost of living?
- 41:55Speaker 5: Am I right, guys?
- 41:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:57Speaker 8: It's crazy.
- 41:58Speaker 2: It's so bad Greg is... How bad is it? It's
- 42:00Speaker 2: so bad Greg is rationing semen. I mean, salmon for
- 42:05Speaker 2: his dinner party.
- 42:06Speaker 6: Oh!
- 42:07Speaker 2: I mean, never mind. I did mean semen. All right. Dude,
- 42:14Speaker 2: speaking of costs, how about them gas prices? The national
- 42:17Speaker 2: average is $ 4.
- 42:18Speaker 6: 41.
- 42:18Speaker 3: $ 4.
- 42:18Speaker 1: 41?
- 42:18Speaker 2: Just take all my money already because, Greg, them rations though, right? Yeah.
- 42:21Speaker 2: We can get zero miles on them loads.
- 42:23Speaker 12: Gosh.
- 42:34Speaker 2: I'm done. I'm done, man. It's just like YOLO. Like
- 42:38Speaker 2: Morgan says, bitch, this ain't my reality. In my reality,
- 42:43Speaker 2: Greg's reservoir. In my reality, Greg's reservoir of man juice
- 42:50Speaker 2: is flowing like the river. Like the river, all right?
- 42:55Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 42:56Speaker 2: The river. Okay, America might be hit with six months
- 42:59Speaker 2: of bad weather, and it's like, dude, it's so bad.
- 43:05Speaker 2: My friend Tyler over here is building an ark, and
- 43:08Speaker 2: on his supply list, he has two tortas, monster energy drink,
- 43:12Speaker 2: Pokemon cards, and for some reason, 97 butt plugs.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Oh!
- 43:16Speaker 2: Odd choice. Speaking of Tyler, he's now live streaming five
- 43:23Speaker 2: days a week, selling baseball cards on Fanatics Live. Unfortunately,
- 43:28Speaker 2: no dong, though. Sucks. Tyler is like, dude, show dong.
- 43:36Speaker 4: You don't know marketing?
- 43:37Speaker 2: 101. Yeah, Tyler. A-hole? All right. Nicolas Cage has an
- 43:44Speaker 2: action movie coming out called Best Pancakes in the County.
- 43:48Speaker 2: When asked for comments, Sammy said, bitch, you had me
- 43:51Speaker 2: at pancakes.
- 43:54Speaker 3: County.
- 43:55Speaker 2: All right. Also in the news, also in fat and
- 43:59Speaker 2: lazy news, did you hear about this? Amazon is introducing
- 44:02Speaker 2: a $ 35 remote for your Kindle.
- 44:07Speaker 4: They are?
- 44:07Speaker 2: Yeah, called Kindle Click. So you don't even have to
- 44:13Speaker 2: turn the pages yourself. You can just turn them remotely. But,
- 44:17Speaker 2: you know, joke's on you, Amazon. I'm so lazy, I
- 44:20Speaker 2: don't read books. Suck on that.
- 44:26Speaker 3: All right.
- 44:27Speaker 2: But, okay. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Our read books. We
- 44:33Speaker 2: got movies, guys. Unfortunately, no good movies this week, so
- 44:36Speaker 2: hopefully Tyler shows his dong or penis on his live stream.
- 44:40Speaker 2: Either or. Oh, let's hope so. Yes, let's. Anyways, we
- 44:44Speaker 2: have a great show for you. Flock of Seagulls are
- 44:46Speaker 2: here with Dennis Rodman, and I hope you enjoy your Friday.
- 44:51Speaker 2: There he is. That is our weekend review.
- 44:53Speaker 4: Menace's late night monologue.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Week in review. It's tough. You know, I'm handcuffed by
- 45:01Speaker 2: the news and not a lot of good news out there.
- 45:04Speaker 2: I really want to make a joke about the Halle
- 45:06Speaker 2: Berry thing, but, you know, there's child abuse involved, so
- 45:09Speaker 2: can't do that. Unless you have one, Seabass. I have
- 45:11Speaker 2: not even heard of this story yet.
- 45:12Speaker 8: She got her kid taken away.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, it's pretty wild. You just make a
- 45:17Speaker 2: public one for movies.
- 45:18Speaker 4: A text here says, what are we giving this a rest?
- 45:20Speaker 2: This segment isn't one bit funny. It's kind of embarrassing
- 45:23Speaker 2: to be associated with this segment. Hashtag the same person
- 45:26Speaker 2: that texts us in every single time. No one is
- 45:28Speaker 2: laughing one bit aside from Menace himself. Sammy.
- 45:32Speaker 4: What about Sammy?
- 45:33Speaker 3: That opening joke I thought was really good.
- 45:37Speaker 2: I laughed.
- 45:38Speaker 4: There's something in here somewhere about explaining things to people
- 45:43Speaker 4: that I'm just going to let But go.
- 45:45Speaker 2: Can we get Tyler's username on this cart? Baseball cart?
- 45:50Speaker 2: Fanatics Live? I don't know if he wants that.
- 45:51Speaker 8: I'd like to see that.
- 45:52Speaker 2: No, he does. Oh, he does? Yeah, yeah.
- 45:54Speaker 3: It's money, right?
- 45:54Speaker 2: Yeah. So if you download the Fanatics Live app, all
- 45:58Speaker 2: you got to do is search Mama Breaks. Mama Breaks? Yeah.
- 46:03Speaker 4: Is that your screen name, Tyler?
- 46:04Speaker 2: No, that's the name of the company I work for. Yeah.
- 46:07Speaker 10: Oh.
- 46:07Speaker 2: Yeah. So you search Mama Breaks. That's not even his
- 46:09Speaker 2: own cars? And then you'll see Tyler in there.
- 46:11Speaker 4: No, he works for this company.
- 46:12Speaker 8: Wait, does it have- I'm going to ask the Greg question.
- 46:14Speaker 8: Does it have to be on the app?
- 46:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 46:16Speaker 2: You can watch it on your laptop desktop.
- 46:18Speaker 8: Thank God.
- 46:18Speaker 6: Okay.
- 46:19Speaker 2: Okay.
- 46:20Speaker 5: Yes.
- 46:21Speaker 2: And is it a particular time? Usually afternoon. Usually afternoon.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Like 12. That doesn't narrow it down. Yeah, I mean,
- 46:28Speaker 2: it does narrow it down. Usually, yeah.
- 46:29Speaker 4: Somebody's like, is it every, weekdays at two or- Yeah,
- 46:32Speaker 4: I would say weekdays, early afternoon.
- 46:35Speaker 2: But that's what I'm saying.
- 46:36Speaker 12: That's early afternoon to you.
- 46:40Speaker 2: I'm trying to help you, dude. I've got another question.
- 46:42Speaker 2: So somebody saw Tyler and is like, that's our spokesman. Dude,
- 46:46Speaker 2: it's baseball and NBA cards and Pokemon. Get a hot chick.
- 46:50Speaker 2: If they're just opening packs of cards, who cares? Well,
- 46:52Speaker 2: who do you think owns the company? They go, really?
- 46:55Speaker 2: A hot chick?
- 46:56Speaker 6: Yes.
- 46:56Speaker 2: So she doesn't know what they're hot chicks? So what
- 46:59Speaker 2: they go, they'll say.
- 47:01Speaker 4: You know, our customer base, they really want to see
- 47:03Speaker 4: themselves being represented in the brand. And so when you
- 47:07Speaker 4: think about the people that are out there and they're
- 47:09Speaker 4: buying these things and they're doing these things and are
- 47:10Speaker 4: this passionate.
- 47:11Speaker 2: About it, they are Tyler.
- 47:13Speaker 4: Tyler's the guy.
- 47:14Speaker 2: He's probably like textbook.
- 47:16Speaker 8: We are Tyler.
- 47:17Speaker 4: You know, card trading, card buying dude.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Right.
- 47:20Speaker 4: From what I see at these, you know, you see
- 47:22Speaker 4: videos from these big trade shows and stuff.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:24Speaker 2: It's a whole trade convention center of Tyler's.
- 47:26Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 47:26Speaker 2: And guess what happens when you go to trade shows?
- 47:28Speaker 2: Who's there? Booth chicks. Booth babes.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:30Speaker 2: They're a known thing. Anyway, I bet you're a Halle
- 47:32Speaker 2: Berry thing. So here you go, Mattis. All right. Halle Berry,
- 47:35Speaker 2: you know, accused of child abuse.
- 47:37Speaker 15: Very sad news there. She says it was just a
- 47:39Speaker 15: little bit of confusion. She was preparing for her new movie,
- 47:42Speaker 15: Monster's Bald Fist.
- 47:45Speaker 5: No.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Wow.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Good one, Seabass. You know what?
- 47:47Speaker 8: On the fly, not bad.
- 47:48Speaker 2: Thank you. All right. We're going to take a quick break.
- 47:50Speaker 4: More Woody Show is next. We've got the DUIQ.
- 47:54Speaker 2: What's happening? I was given an assignment and I took it.
- 48:02Speaker 4: Not the name of the mascot, per se.
- 48:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Per se? Ooh, that's fancy.
- 48:06Speaker 4: Yeah, per se is always fancy.
- 48:09Speaker 2: I love some per se. Someone went to France.
- 48:15Speaker 18: That's a nice croissant there, per se.
- 48:21Speaker 2: Dude, ever since that moment, I realized that I say
- 48:23Speaker 2: that a lot. Per se? Yeah. You do? Yeah. I
- 48:28Speaker 2: have not noticed that. Yeah, I've been made aware.
- 48:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:31Speaker 16: You sound like the guy, one of the famous breakout
- 48:35Speaker 16: stars of Love on the Spectrum.
- 48:36Speaker 14: Per se.
- 48:37Speaker 2: Awareness gained.
- 48:39Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 48:40Speaker 2: I've never noticed that. I'm trying to be conscious of
- 48:42Speaker 2: it now. Well, you have a real je ne sais
- 48:43Speaker 2: qual of it. Yeah. I say very few fancy things,
- 48:47Speaker 2: but keep the per se. It's your per se.
- 48:51Speaker 4: Before we get into the DUIQ, it was just Seabass's birthday,
- 48:55Speaker 4: and we have a late gift for A late gift
- 49:01Speaker 4: in for Seabass's birthday. It's from Jeff Garcia.
- 49:06Speaker 2: What? Jeff G got you a gift.
- 49:08Speaker 14: That's nice.
- 49:09Speaker 9: I enjoy sharing the office with you, Seabass. You're a
- 49:12Speaker 9: great dude, and you are the king of cameo on
- 49:14Speaker 9: the cheapo, right? So I figured I might as well
- 49:18Speaker 9: dip my toe in that water and get you a gift.
- 49:20Speaker 2: Cameo for your birthday. I've gotten dozens of cameos from
- 49:23Speaker 2: you guys, but I've never gotten one in return.
- 49:25Speaker 4: From a big star. And when I say big, a
- 49:28Speaker 4: big star.
- 49:30Speaker 2: You want me to reveal? I have the clip ready
- 49:33Speaker 2: to go.
- 49:33Speaker 9: We know how much you love porn, so right away
- 49:36Speaker 9: I searched on Cameo for a porn star. This person
- 49:40Speaker 9: has a ton of videos under his belt.
- 49:44Speaker 4: He's got a lot under his belt.
- 49:46Speaker 2: If this is Girthmaster, I'm going to faint. I think
- 49:50Speaker 2: this guy gives Girthmaster a run for his money.
- 49:53Speaker 9: I also informed him that you love reading the Bible.
- 49:56Speaker 9: That you love acupuncture. That you love Elon Musk and Cybertrucks.
- 50:04Speaker 9: So I gave him all your favorites.
- 50:05Speaker 2: What's his name?
- 50:06Speaker 9: His name is Rock Hardo. So instead of Ricardo, it's
- 50:11Speaker 9: Rock Hardo Black. Ricardo Black.
- 50:14Speaker 2: It's so simple. I'm surprised no one's ever come up
- 50:16Speaker 2: with it. That is so good.
- 50:17Speaker 8: He lives up to the name.
- 50:19Speaker 2: That's him. Yeah, he looks like he's about 5'9.
- 50:21Speaker 4: That's just his penis, 5'9.
- 50:23Speaker 2: 160 pounds, and then there's a big shadow down below. Exactly.
- 50:26Speaker 4: Jeff had.
- 50:30Speaker 2: What'd you go into, like incognito mode to search?
- 50:32Speaker 14: Yeah, I did.
- 50:33Speaker 2: Private browsing for the pics. Tyler actually helped me on that.
- 50:36Speaker 2: But anyways.
- 50:37Speaker 4: There was one where, I mean, he's so large that
- 50:41Speaker 4: he's able to pass it back through his legs. So
- 50:44Speaker 4: it sticks out the back. And then some chick was
- 50:47Speaker 4: behind him servicing a mouth party style.
- 50:49Speaker 8: So there was enough out the back.
- 50:51Speaker 2: Yeah. That's what I'm saying. He passed it through, like
- 50:54Speaker 2: tucked it down between his legs. So it's stuck straight
- 50:56Speaker 2: out the back.
- 50:57Speaker 4: And there was still enough there where the chick could
- 51:00Speaker 4: give him a mouth party.
- 51:01Speaker 2: That rule.
- 51:02Speaker 15: Wow.
- 51:03Speaker 2: That would be awesome. That's why he is your cameo
- 51:06Speaker 2: on the cheapo. Happy birthday. Sea bass warning. Fun accent ahead.
- 51:10Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 51:11Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 51:11Speaker 2: Here we go. Here's a rock hard. Oh, black sea bass.
- 51:16Speaker 7: So you like reading the Bible. I'm going to leave
- 51:19Speaker 7: that right there.
- 51:21Speaker 6: Acupuncture.
- 51:22Speaker 7: Like to be pricked. Elon Musk and his Cybertruck.
- 51:26Speaker 2: God damn. God damn, man.
- 51:30Speaker 7: But it's your birthday. So, happy birthday, Sebas. And thank
- 51:34Speaker 7: you for being a huge fan. Thank you if you
- 51:38Speaker 7: purchase my videos and stuff like that. So whatever you're doing,
- 51:43Speaker 7: I hope you're getting wet, you know. I hope you're
- 51:46Speaker 7: getting some wet. I'm getting wet, yeah.
- 51:49Speaker 10: Some company.
- 51:49Speaker 7: I hope you got some company. Happy big birthday. I
- 51:52Speaker 7: don't know how old you are, but happy big birthday.
- 51:56Speaker 7: Just don't enjoy it too, too much because you want
- 51:59Speaker 7: to be living to the next one.
- 52:00Speaker 3: Okay?
- 52:01Speaker 7: And happy birthday.
- 52:03Speaker 6: Seabass.
- 52:04Speaker 2: There you go. That's from Rock Hardo Black.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Wow.
- 52:07Speaker 2: I like that accent. Yeah. Is he Scottish?
- 52:10Speaker 8: It sounds British.
- 52:11Speaker 2: Liverpool, maybe?
- 52:12Speaker 8: Sounds like one of Seabass's kids.
- 52:13Speaker 6: Sounds funny.
- 52:13Speaker 3: Sounds Scottish. 877-44-Woody.
- 52:14Speaker 2: That's 877-44-Woody. We have a dumbass contest, you guys. It's Friday,
- 52:27Speaker 2: and today's dumbass contest is the DUIQ.
- 52:31Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 52:32Speaker 2: That's right.
- 52:34Speaker 6: DUIQ.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Go ahead and explain the game to everybody. Birthday, boy,
- 52:37Speaker 2: see this.
- 52:37Speaker 15: I find a drunk person, and I give them some
- 52:40Speaker 15: easy questions. And the game is not to answer the questions.
- 52:43Speaker 2: You can do that. Anybody can do that.
- 52:44Speaker 15: They're very easy questions. The game is, is this person
- 52:47Speaker 15: so drunk that they won't know the answer? If you
- 52:49Speaker 15: can guess what they know the answer to out of
- 52:51Speaker 15: three times.
- 52:52Speaker 2: You win.
- 52:52Speaker 3: All right.
- 52:53Speaker 2: 877-44-WOODY.
- 52:55Speaker 4: Is the number to call to be the contestant. Now,
- 52:57Speaker 4: we're going to guess with Sammy and Menace, who are
- 53:00Speaker 4: Stone Cold sober. That's just for funsies.
- 53:02Speaker 2: For humor.
- 53:03Speaker 4: See if they'll know it. 877-44-WOODY. And who do we
- 53:07Speaker 4: have here, Sammy?
- 53:10Speaker 2: We have Jennifer. Jennifer. Here she is. Hi, Jennifer.
- 53:15Speaker 17: Hey, happy Friday.
- 53:16Speaker 11: I love you guys.
- 53:17Speaker 2: Happy Friday, Jennifer.
- 53:19Speaker 17: What up?
- 53:19Speaker 2: All right, so we're going to play the DUIQ before
- 53:21Speaker 2: we get to the questions that actually count towards you
- 53:23Speaker 2: winning a prize.
- 53:24Speaker 4: We're going to get to know the drunk. We're going
- 53:25Speaker 4: to hear a little clip from them just to kind
- 53:27Speaker 4: of get an idea just how with it or not
- 53:29Speaker 4: with it they are before we get to those all-important questions.
- 53:32Speaker 4: And who is this person, Seabass?
- 53:34Speaker 15: This is a guy I found at the Folsom Street Fair.
- 53:37Speaker 17: Yay!
- 53:38Speaker 15: Because besides thousands of naked men displaying themselves and doing
- 53:42Speaker 15: things to each other, there is.
- 53:45Speaker 2: People drinking. No way. They have little bars. It is
- 53:48Speaker 2: a bar.
- 53:49Speaker 15: And it is on a public street, so people just
- 53:51Speaker 15: set up shop in front of their homes, their little stoops.
- 53:53Speaker 15: They'll sell drinks there. And that's where I found Greg's partner, Mario.
- 53:56Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 53:57Speaker 2: Greg's husband. No, it's just a different Mario. And Mario's
- 54:00Speaker 2: going to tell me what he has to drink at
- 54:02Speaker 2: Folsom Street Fair.
- 54:03Speaker 14: You're out here at Folsom Street Fair. What brought you
- 54:05Speaker 14: up here for this weekend?
- 54:06Speaker 2: Definitely my fetishes.
- 54:08Speaker 11: Like leather, something kinky, something painful but pleasurable.
- 54:14Speaker 14: I see that bottle is not water.
- 54:17Speaker 2: Jameson ginger. Jameson and ginger?
- 54:18Speaker 6: Yes.
- 54:19Speaker 5: Now, you're all afraid with the ginger ale, though, like
- 54:21Speaker 5: the sugar, though, gets you all bloated or whatever.
- 54:23Speaker 2: It's diet ginger ale.
- 54:24Speaker 6: Oh.
- 54:25Speaker 2: I'm conscious about my weight.
- 54:26Speaker 1: Smart.
- 54:27Speaker 11: It's just they say it doesn't give you hangover, so
- 54:30Speaker 11: no matter how much you drink tomorrow, it's going to
- 54:33Speaker 11: be a bright, sunshiny day.
- 54:35Speaker 8: Did not know that Mario.
- 54:37Speaker 16: Sounds different Greg yeah he's wasted here also is there
- 54:40Speaker 16: sober gays oh there.
- 54:42Speaker 3: Has to be do they exist Greg um I don't
- 54:44Speaker 3: know any I was gonna.
- 54:46Speaker 4: Say I think I really don't the vast majority of
- 54:49Speaker 4: gay dudes that I know are all heavy drinkers they
- 54:52Speaker 4: like to party I'm trying to think if I know.
- 54:54Speaker 8: One maybe green sober.
- 54:56Speaker 4: Maybe it was like When, you know, they were still
- 54:59Speaker 4: closeted and very, like, anxious about the whole thing. They
- 55:01Speaker 4: were drinking to kind of numb. And then they just
- 55:03Speaker 4: loved it. And then they were out there like, you
- 55:05Speaker 4: know what?
- 55:05Speaker 2: This can stay. They realized the rules.
- 55:08Speaker 15: I find there's a meeting Queer and Anonymous for AA
- 55:11Speaker 15: that you can go to.
- 55:13Speaker 2: Packed.
- 55:13Speaker 4: They hold them in stadiums.
- 55:16Speaker 2: Yeah. 877-40. Oh, no, we have Jennifer.
- 55:19Speaker 11: Sorry.
- 55:19Speaker 3: We have Jennifer.
- 55:20Speaker 2: There's Jennifer. All right, Jennifer, you ready for question number one?
- 55:24Speaker 3: Always.
- 55:25Speaker 7: All right.
- 55:25Speaker 2: D-U-I-Q. What city is the capital of Alaska? What city
- 55:30Speaker 2: is the capital of Alaska?
- 55:32Speaker 15: Of course, I'm asking this because both of, well, not
- 55:34Speaker 15: only Mario, but our two in-studio guests have been there recently.
- 55:37Speaker 8: Yeah, we were just there.
- 55:39Speaker 4: I'm going to say yes for Sammy. Yes for Menace,
- 55:46Speaker 4: no for Mario. Double yes here in the studio, no
- 55:50Speaker 4: for Mario.
- 55:50Speaker 2: What do you think, Greg?
- 55:51Speaker 3: You're way more confident than I am. I'm going triple no.
- 55:54Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 55:55Speaker 16: We're all doing different ones. I'm going to give Sammy
- 55:57Speaker 16: the yes on this one. So only Sammy gets the yes.
- 56:00Speaker 8: Everybody else no.
- 56:00Speaker 2: Everybody else no. All right, Jennifer, what do you think?
- 56:02Speaker 2: Yes or no?
- 56:04Speaker 5: No.
- 56:05Speaker 2: No. Question number one, DUIQ. What city is the capital
- 56:08Speaker 2: of Alaska? Menace. Anchorage. Anchorage. Sammy.
- 56:12Speaker 6: Juneau.
- 56:13Speaker 2: Juneau is the answer.
- 56:14Speaker 6: Yes.
- 56:16Speaker 2: Juno is the answer.
- 56:17Speaker 4: Fun fact.
- 56:17Speaker 2: I had little faith. All right, now, Gina, you can
- 56:21Speaker 2: win this one. Question number one, DUIQ. What city is
- 56:23Speaker 2: the capital of Alaska?
- 56:26Speaker 6: Oh, my God. What?
- 56:28Speaker 7: Greenland?
- 56:29Speaker 2: Greenland. I know so many good things about it. It's
- 56:32Speaker 2: also like one of my bucket lists.
- 56:33Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 56:34Speaker 3: Greenland.
- 56:34Speaker 8: He wants to go to Greenland, Alaska.
- 56:38Speaker 2: You can't drive there. You got to take a plane
- 56:39Speaker 2: or a boat.
- 56:39Speaker 8: I love it.
- 56:40Speaker 4: Well, maybe he was thinking because, you know, Greenland's got
- 56:43Speaker 4: a lot of ice. Iceland's pretty green. Yeah, that was
- 56:46Speaker 4: a similar latitude.
- 56:47Speaker 2: Alaska.
- 56:48Speaker 8: You're doing way too much gymnastics for him.
- 56:50Speaker 10: I know.
- 56:51Speaker 2: I'm trying to help out. All right.
- 56:53Speaker 4: Well, congratulations, Jennifer. You got yourself your first point here
- 56:57Speaker 4: on this round of the DUIQ.
- 56:58Speaker 2: All right. Question number two.
- 57:01Speaker 14: Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi are the biggest cities in what?
- 57:05Speaker 2: More travel stuff. Or geography.
- 57:07Speaker 14: Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi are the biggest cities in what?
- 57:10Speaker 2: So not small obscure cities.
- 57:14Speaker 4: No for both Sammy and Menace.
- 57:18Speaker 2: No for Mario. Yes, Mr.
- 57:19Speaker 4: Greenland.
- 57:20Speaker 2: Yeah, no for Mario.
- 57:21Speaker 16: Yeah, I think this is a Tripp's no situation.
- 57:23Speaker 4: I already had no for Mario. I'm double guessing myself
- 57:30Speaker 4: with No with Sammy.
- 57:33Speaker 8: I'm sticking with Tripp.
- 57:34Speaker 2: There's a song that Sammy might know. What?
- 57:36Speaker 4: But I'm not going to say where it's from. Don't
- 57:38Speaker 4: give her hints, because then you've got to give Menace one.
- 57:39Speaker 8: This is fine. Just tell her that Menace would know.
- 57:42Speaker 2: There you go. That's not fair. Yeah, that was totally, yeah.
- 57:45Speaker 2: You're right. I was so stupid.
- 57:46Speaker 3: Okay, so no to Mario.
- 57:50Speaker 6: You know what?
- 57:50Speaker 3: Triple no.
- 57:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:52Speaker 4: Yeah, triple no.
- 57:53Speaker 2: All right, Jennifer, what do you think?
- 57:56Speaker 5: Negative.
- 57:57Speaker 2: Negative? Not going to get it? Not happening. Question number two. DUIQ.
- 58:02Speaker 14: Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi are the biggest cities in what?
- 58:05Speaker 3: Sammy.
- 58:05Speaker 2: Sammy.
- 58:06Speaker 8: Honduras.
- 58:07Speaker 2: Honduras. Menace. Vietnam. Vietnam is the answer. Good morning, Vietnam.
- 58:15Speaker 2: We outside. This is rock and roll. That's not the
- 58:19Speaker 2: song I was thinking of. Full metal jacket. Ho Chi
- 58:21Speaker 2: Minh is a son of a bitch.
- 58:22Speaker 8: Why would she know that?
- 58:23Speaker 2: Because she's a fan of cinema. Also, I may have
- 58:27Speaker 2: been joking.
- 58:28Speaker 12: Okay.
- 58:29Speaker 4: All right, well, Jennifer, if Mario does not get this
- 58:32Speaker 4: one right, you're going to be the winner of this
- 58:33Speaker 4: round of the DUIQ.
- 58:35Speaker 2: Question number two.
- 58:36Speaker 14: Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi are the biggest cities in what? Vietnam.
- 58:40Speaker 2: How do you know that? Because there used to be
- 58:41Speaker 2: a flight attendant. Shocking.
- 58:44Speaker 5: All right.
- 58:45Speaker 2: All right, well, good news is, Jennifer, you're still alive.
- 58:51Speaker 2: We got the third. She won.
- 58:53Speaker 6: No.
- 58:54Speaker 2: No, no.
- 58:54Speaker 8: She said no.
- 58:55Speaker 10: No.
- 58:55Speaker 2: No, she said no.
- 58:56Speaker 6: Negative.
- 58:56Speaker 4: She said negative that Mario would not get it.
- 58:58Speaker 2: Oh, but I thought Mario said Japan. No, he said Vietnam. Oh,
- 59:01Speaker 2: I heard Japan. Uh-uh. Geez, he must be a flight attendant.
- 59:04Speaker 14: Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi are the biggest cities in what? Vietnam.
- 59:08Speaker 3: I didn't know that.
- 59:09Speaker 2: Vietnam. Vietnam.
- 59:11Speaker 8: That's drunk Vietnam.
- 59:13Speaker 2: Question number three.
- 59:15Speaker 5: What fairy is featured in the opening title of most
- 59:18Speaker 5: Disney movies?
- 59:19Speaker 4: Yes to Sammy.
- 59:21Speaker 2: Yes to Menace. Menace is tricky in its screw-ups.
- 59:27Speaker 4: I think he knows this one. I'm saying yes. I'm
- 59:30Speaker 4: confidently yes for Menace and Sammy.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Right. Man. But the only one.
- 59:35Speaker 17: Mario.
- 59:36Speaker 8: It's a wild card.
- 59:38Speaker 2: I could be swayed. Greg, what do you think? Do we? Gina?
- 59:44Speaker 8: Okay, I'm going.
- 59:45Speaker 16: To go out on a limb and say Disney is
- 59:47Speaker 16: not this guy's area of expertise.
- 59:49Speaker 8: I'm going to say no to Mario.
- 59:52Speaker 2: I'm going to say triple yes.
- 59:54Speaker 3: I'm leaning triple yes as well.
- 59:57Speaker 2: You know what?
- 59:58Speaker 8: Yes in studio, no out.
- 59:58Speaker 2: Let's go crazy. Let's get nuts, Greg.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: Let's go insane.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: Greg? Triple yes.
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: All right. Triple yes. No way.
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: That's what Greg and I say. Gina does not agree. Jennifer,
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: what do you think?
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: Yes or no?
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: This is make or break.
- 1:00:12Speaker 11: I know, and this is a rough one, but I'm
- 1:00:14Speaker 11: going to go with Gina and say no.
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: No.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: Mario won't get it. We're going to start with Menace
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: and Sammy first. Question number three, DUIQ.
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: What fairy is featured in the opening title of most
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: Disney movies?
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: Menace. Tinkerbell. Sammy.
- 1:00:28Speaker 10: Tinkerbell.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: Tinkerbell is the answer.
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: Okay, Mario.
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: I mean, I'm rooting for Jennifer, but.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: I'm rooting for us four. Yeah, I think Mario got it.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: I mean, what else would he think?
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: Question number three.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: D-U-I-Q.
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: What fairy is featured in the opening title of most
- 1:00:42Speaker 5: Disney movies?
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: What's her name?
- 1:00:45Speaker 11: Tinkerbell.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: Yes. Queen, in fact.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Jennifer.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 1:00:50Speaker 16: You just didn't seem very Disney-like to me.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: He's probably a Tinkerbell himself.
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: There you go.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: We're talking about fairies, right?
- 1:01:01Speaker 8: I didn't want a profile.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: I love pixie dust.
- 1:01:04Speaker 8: You took a big swing, Jennifer.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: Things just got real 1980s. Jennifer, Jennifer, Jennifer. So sorry
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: about that, but thank you so much for listening to
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: The Woody Show. We appreciate you. Have yourself a great weekend.
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: Yeah, you too.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: It's time for me to go get drunk now.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: There you go.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: You know what? It can only get better from here.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: That's the glass half full. There you go. Greg, you
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: know what?
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: I almost said, if we get this and it's a
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: triple yes, we should make out.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: Thank God. Go back in time. We'll save that for
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: another game. More Woody Show next. Hang on. The Woody Show,
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: back in a few.
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: So this 37-year-old guy in Texas, he's a barber. He
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: walked up to a Bank of America ATM and he
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: found a bag sitting on top of the ATM. There
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: was also a second bag sitting there. A label in
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: the bag pointed at a nearby Chick-fil-A. So he drove
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: over there to return it. The manager's like, nope, not ours.
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: So he called 911. Let me ask you. Dude, who
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: calls 911 over?
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: A Chick-fil-A bag?
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: Well, no, it's like a cash bag sitting there, whatever.
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: In the one bag, there were 19 checks, right? The
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: other bag had $ 128, 514 in it.
- 1:02:23Speaker 13: Damn.
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: So that's why he called 911.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: What the hell is going on? Turns out the Brinks truck, dude.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: who had been there to service the ATM, just left
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: it there. Oh, my God.
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: The cops counted it multiple times. $ 128, 514. Match the receipt exactly.
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: Not a dollar was missing. This guy asked for no reward,
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: no publicity, but the city is honoring him anyway.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: But, dude, I mean, dude, you're sitting there.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: But you know you're on camera, so you can't just
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: walk away.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: Yeah, they should give him something, though.
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: Not just like, oh, here's the key to the thing.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: Here's free checking. Here's something useless. I'll take the key.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: All right, guys, here we go again. Now, Jeff is new.
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: Don't say anything. Jeff is new to this conversation. We've
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: had this conversation a number of times. Jack Puritan is
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: the first to admit that his diamond hunting hobby hasn't
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: paid off despite sifting rocks for more than a dozen years.
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: But the Navy reservist and his friend shoveled a six
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: carat diamond from the field at Crater of Diamond State
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: Park in Arkansas, where he's found over 300 gems so far.
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: And this one was like nothing he has dug up before.
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: Could be worth over a million dollars. Roughly the size
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: of a fingernail. It's the largest diamond found this year
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: at Crater of Diamond State Park. More than 37,000 diamonds
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: have been discovered since the former open pit diamond mine
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: became part of a state park in 1972. All right.
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: So here we go again. There's just a.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: Million-dollar diamond right there near the surface. So lucky. We're
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: not influencing him at all. Well, no.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: You told us to be quiet. Yeah, while I read
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: the story. So now, Jeff, I'm not a believer in
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: these stories. I think this is a big marketing thing
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: for this park. Because otherwise, since when is any state
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: interested in people getting anything? If they own this land
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: and there's so many diamonds worth, this one's over a
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: million dollars, why wouldn't they just dig the whole thing up,
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: take whatever diamonds they got from it, sell them off,
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: and keep the money for themselves?
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: These guys, the rest of the people in this room,
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: there's not one other person in here who feels the
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: same way I do. They all believe this. And I'm
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: quite honestly surprised every time with Seabass that it's a hook, line,
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: and sinker on him as well.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: Specifically, what is your claim? That they are planning these?
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: This is what keeps people coming back to the park
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: and they go, see what people found?
- 1:04:56Speaker 8: It can't be done.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: It can't be done. And they point to the person
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: who wins this one. And yeah, a bunch of these
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: other things or whatever, but they point to this one
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: that they dropped it in there. It's the marketing for
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: getting people to keep coming back. Do you think this
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: place makes a million bucks a year?
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: I don't know what they make, but it's enough of
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: a tourist attraction that this is constantly happening. And if
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: it was all legit, wouldn't this place just be.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: Mobbed all the time? People trying to find a million
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: dollar diamond. Well, what's the attendance? Can we find out? Yeah,
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: while we're discussing here.
- 1:05:27Speaker 9: I mean, I'll say I'm skeptical just because every state
- 1:05:30Speaker 9: is broke. Everybody in this country is broke. And if
- 1:05:33Speaker 9: they're just handing out free diamonds like that at this park,
- 1:05:35Speaker 9: why wouldn't everybody go there?
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: And why wouldn't they cash in themselves? That's the skeptic
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: in me. I just think it's the skeptic. It's just
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: a hustle. It's a bait and switch. Come to our park.
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: Hey, guys, come here and drill for oil. There's oil here.
- 1:05:47Speaker 8: They say about every year.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: Why wouldn't you keep that for yourself?
- 1:05:49Speaker 8: They say about 150,000 people come every year.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: Okay. That's a lot of people.
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: And what's the admission charge?
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:05:57Speaker 15: We should also say that this is not like, you're
- 1:05:59Speaker 15: not mining for diamonds. It's just a big old field
- 1:06:01Speaker 15: that they turn over with a hoe or a tractor
- 1:06:04Speaker 15: every year so often.
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: Like, why, you know.
- 1:06:07Speaker 9: If you're going to go through the trouble of turning
- 1:06:09Speaker 9: out of the soil, why not just keep the diamonds
- 1:06:10Speaker 9: that you turn over?
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: Correct. $ 15 a person. That's a lot of money.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: I mean, for that, can you imagine? Well, imagine going
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: to Arkansas on a vacation.
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: Don't they have those in touristy spots, have those things
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: where you can buy an oyster and see if there's
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: a pearl.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: Inside of it? That's a Hawaii thing, too. Yeah.
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: It's everywhere.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: So are they planting those, too? Probably. Probably. Probably. I
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: don't think they know that.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: They don't know. Well, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:06:38Speaker 9: They just know which one it is, mix it in
- 1:06:40Speaker 9: a bunch of the.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: Clams, and they open it up. Yeah, X-ray. I believe
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: in the diamonds.
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:06:44Speaker 17: I know.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: They all do.
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: These stories come up all the time, and I find
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: it hard to believe that if the state knew they
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: were literally sitting on a field of diamonds, some that
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: are worth, and it's a five-carat diamond.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: It's not private property. It's a million.
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: That's the whole point.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: It's theirs. So they make about one point. It's the state.
- 1:06:59Speaker 4: It's a state park.
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: So that means it's public property.
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: I know, but the state would keep the money. Or
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: they would lease it or whatever.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: Something, yeah. Right. I don't know. It's a hustle. $ 1. 5
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: million a year. It's not.
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: I finally have an ally. I've been alone in here
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: for so long. They blew their whole.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: Budget on that?
- 1:07:17Speaker 8: I think it's, I did $ 150, 000 times 15, so it's
- 1:07:18Speaker 8: like $ 2 million and a quarter. There you go.
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: And then would you still get that many visitors if,
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: you know, nobody ever found anything?
- 1:07:28Speaker 16: But 150,000 people coming, paying 15 bucks a pop, somebody's
- 1:07:31Speaker 16: going to find something at some point, right?
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: Yeah. Or nobody would come. The odds, yeah. Well, it's
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: almost like an Easter egg hunt, right? Like, they probably
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: buy one diamond worth a million. Right. They're still making
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: a million and a half in profit.
- 1:07:42Speaker 10: Right.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: They just throw that diamond somewhere, and then when somebody
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: finds it, it's like, oh, wow, look. And then that's
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: their marketing for the whole year.
- 1:07:48Speaker 16: Yeah, but it's not like they find, like, a Zales, like,
- 1:07:50Speaker 16: perfect cut in clarity. I mean, these look like, you know.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: So that is a highly disputed figure, by the way.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: What is? The attendance. The million-dollar ticker on this diamond.
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: The guy said in the article I was reading, they
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: said that he brought it to a place. They said
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: this one's going to be worth in the neighborhood of
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: a million, if not more than a million dollars.
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: Because most of the ones found there are just crap.
- 1:08:15Speaker 8: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: They're crap.
- 1:08:16Speaker 12: And so theoretically, yes, but you'd still need to find
- 1:08:18Speaker 12: somebody willing to pay that for this diamond that probably
- 1:08:20Speaker 12: doesn't look that good.
- 1:08:21Speaker 15: Okay, so yeah, they're of course telling you the big
- 1:08:23Speaker 15: number that's the most interesting. Certified gem appraisers have looked
- 1:08:26Speaker 15: at the diamond also. It said a high-quality yellow diamond
- 1:08:29Speaker 15: from that park can sell for about a quarter of
- 1:08:30Speaker 15: a million.
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: Oh, that's it?
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: I'll take it.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: Just $ 250, 000?
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: Well, that's a lot less than a million. Yeah, even
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: more profit.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: More profits for them.
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: Yeah, you put the press release out that it's close
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: to a million. Right, people repeat it. But they still
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: get $ 250, 000.
- 1:08:43Speaker 8: I'll take it.
- 1:08:44Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: Also, loss leader. Diamond prices are crazy low right now. Well,
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: because I think people are kind of realizing... And no offense.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: It's all fixed. well and nobody really knows well they
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: have the lab grown ones now yeah those are popular also.
- 1:08:58Speaker 15: Those are just as expensive actual diamond and they're not
- 1:09:00Speaker 15: necessary at all no.
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: Yeah eight seven seven forty four woody text us over
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: to two two nine eight seven we're gonna take a

- 1:10:35Speaker 13: time for your Friday Fail Story.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: All these people thought they had the perfect plan, the
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: plan that could never go wrong, but then somewhere along.
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: The line it went from being a great idea to
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: one big stinking mega uber ultra.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: All right. Whoa, that was really good.
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: That really hurt because I felt something coming, but I had.
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: To hold on. Thank you for committing.
- 1:11:13Speaker 6: Oh, man.
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: All right. Yeah, not bad. It worked. Yeah, I'll take it.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: All right, here we go.
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: Friday fail story number one. This is from California. These guys,
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: they were looking to make a lot of money really fast.
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: So they came up with a plan to steal this semi-truck,
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: this semi-trailer full of AI tech.
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: Love it.
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: So they broke into this NVIDIA facility overnight and they
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: stole two semi trucks out of the lot. Now, the thieves,
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: they thought that these were just, you know, normal semis.
- 1:11:45Speaker 4: But in reality, these are self-driving semis. And each one
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: of them had over 20,000 pounds of cargo in it.
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: And then once they got away, they busted open those
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: trailers only to realize no chips, no fun AI stuff.
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: Inside each truck was 20,000 pounds of.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: Of sand. What? Yeah. Oh, were they just testing the trucks?
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: It was just sand in there.
- 1:12:11Speaker 8: That's hilarious.
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: So they ditched the trucks. They took off NVIDIA. They
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: got their trucks back and all the sand. But yeah,
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: nothing for these dudes.
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: Worst day ever.
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: Here's one from Miami with this 52-year-old guy. He was
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: at the airport. He was checking in for a flight.
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: The ticket agent asked if he had anything dangerous in
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: his bag.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: He's like, no. Actually, you know what?
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: I do have a grenade. And he started laughing.
- 1:12:35Speaker 8: Oh, don't do that.
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: So she called the cops. They searched the bag, found nothing.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: He's like, oh, I was just joking. Just pranking. So funny.
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: I'm just pranking, guys. But he got arrested and charged
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: with making a false bomb report. And then literally one
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: day later, same airport. Different guy this time. 33-year-old guy
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: asked if he had any lithium batteries in his bag.
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: And he said, no, but I do.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: Have a bomb.
- 1:13:00Speaker 8: Oh, my God.
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: Again, same airport.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: Everyone's just stupid.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: Stupid.
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: Again, the cops were called. They searched the bag, found nothing.
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: The guy said, oh, I'm just kidding. Just pranking.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: Joking.
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: And so he was also arrested.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: Dumbass. Fail.
- 1:13:14Speaker 8: These guys don't need to be on planes.
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: So authorities, they are feeling the need to now remind
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: everybody that jokes like that at the airport, not cool,
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: and they'll get you in more trouble than you want.
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: They don't understand that us men have the innate desire
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: to always be joking.
- 1:13:25Speaker 4: Yeah, we be pranking.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: ABJ.
- 1:13:27Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: This is from South Africa. This poacher was on the
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: hunt for some rhinos and figured the best place to
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: get one would be this national park, so he entered
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: illegally with a few rifles. He had an axe, and
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: he saw a group of white rhinos just chilling by
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: this water source. But before he could pull the trigger,
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: a herd of elephants charged his way. He tried to run,
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: but the herd caught up to.
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: Him, and they trampled him. Love it. Is he dead?
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: I hope so. Very. And dude.
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: Like, I'm going to save you some of the details
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: from the article, but they said it wasn't just trampled
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: and killed. This guy was reduced to almost literally nothing. Like,
- 1:14:05Speaker 4: the park rangers who went out there on the scene,
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: they said it was little more than blood and clothing,
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: and that's all they could find.
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: Not this guy, because he failed.
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: Yeah, because these elephants just stomped the crap out of
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: this dude.
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: Didn't need that guy. Yeah.
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: In Montana, this bow hunter, he was out there, and
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: he got injured. He was hunting... And he encountered this animal.
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: And the Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks Department said his
- 1:14:32Speaker 4: injuries that he got were serious. Because he was out there.
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: He got this bear in sight. And this bear attacked him.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 1:14:43Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: He was just out there bow hunting.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: Armed with a bow and arrow.
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: And the bear's like, not today, bruh.
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: That's adorable.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: And so the bear attacked him. And by the way,
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: he had to drive himself to... To get some help. Oh, yeah,
- 1:14:59Speaker 4: but so he didn't get killed either. Yeah, I mean
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: so he lived but I'm saying just another.
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: Story where Revenge of the animals.
- 1:15:05Speaker 4: Yeah revenge of the animals. Mm-hmm. How about this one
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: this dude? He was pissed off at his bosses and
- 1:15:13Speaker 4: he worked at his feed store and And the reason
- 1:15:16Speaker 4: is that he went to one of those bikini coffee
- 1:15:19Speaker 4: shops where the baristas, they were pretty much nothing. Only
- 1:15:22Speaker 4: in certain cities for some reason.
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: Took a bunch of pictures of the baristas while in
- 1:15:26Speaker 4: the company truck.
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: Oh, nice.
- 1:15:28Speaker 4: And then he showed them to his managers when he
- 1:15:30Speaker 4: got back to work. Well, they didn't like that. And
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: they fired him. And then a month later, he snuck
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: into the store in the middle of the night and
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: he burned the place to the ground.
- 1:15:39Speaker 8: Oh, that's fair.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: Now, that's equal.
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: He would have gotten away with it, except his phone
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: connected to the store's Wi-Fi. And the investigators were able
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: to see that when they pulled up the log. And
- 1:15:50Speaker 4: so he was arrested and he was taken to fail jail.
- 1:15:53Speaker 8: Everybody's so surprised.
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: Yeah. We say this, you can't get away with anything anymore.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: You can't.
- 1:15:58Speaker 4: There's a digital footprint of pretty much everything, which is
- 1:16:00Speaker 4: why I don't understand how it's possible that somebody can
- 1:16:03Speaker 4: be wrongfully convicted. There's got to be so much evidence
- 1:16:10Speaker 4: that has, there's got to be a digital alibi.
- 1:16:12Speaker 8: Yeah. For everything.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: Like you can easily show that you weren't wherever it was.
- 1:16:18Speaker 8: Unless it was like AI.
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:16:20Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: Here, I'll give you one more.
- 1:16:22Speaker 4: It's my favorite story of the week. It's about this
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: 60-year-old guy, definitely old enough to know better.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: He's in Arizona.
- 1:16:28Speaker 4: He was out for a drive. And he's one of these, like,
- 1:16:31Speaker 4: you know, Karen kind of dudes. He was doing a
- 1:16:33Speaker 4: patrol of the roads and the freeway around his own area.
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: I support that.
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: Check him out.
- 1:16:37Speaker 4: And he had installed some fake red and blue emergency
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: lights on his truck.
- 1:16:41Speaker 6: Oh, hell yeah.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: I support that.
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: And he actually pulled someone over because they were speeding
- 1:16:46Speaker 4: and running red lights.
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: Dork.
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: So he had them pulled over. And then what did
- 1:16:49Speaker 4: he do next?
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: Wrote him a fake ticket?
- 1:16:52Speaker 4: He called the real cops for backup.
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: Oh, all right. What an idiot. Dummy.
- 1:16:56Speaker 4: So the real police showed up. The guy demanded to
- 1:16:59Speaker 4: see their working badges.
- 1:17:01Speaker 8: I don't blame him.
- 1:17:02Speaker 4: And added that he wanted them to do something about
- 1:17:04Speaker 4: this situation.
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: And they did.
- 1:17:07Speaker 4: They arrested him for impersonating an officer.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Fantastic.
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: Idiot.
- 1:17:12Speaker 5: Failed.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 1:17:14Speaker 4: It's like, dude, some of these HOA guys... They don't
- 1:17:16Speaker 4: mess around either. I think they really believe that they're
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: in some way actual law enforcement or cops.
- 1:17:22Speaker 8: The private security cars?
- 1:17:24Speaker 4: No, not those.
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: I'm talking about the people who are like on the board.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: I hope to never know them.
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: They're the local HOA enforcer.
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: I try to get involved with my, like if they
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: have a yearly meeting, an owner's meeting, I go to it.
- 1:17:38Speaker 3: And they talk in HOA talk and I can't participate.
- 1:17:41Speaker 3: You don't know what they're saying. We get a second
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: to this motion. Well, like minutes, motions.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: Oh, God. You don't understand that stuff? That's pretty basic.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: I mean, they get way into it. Item A47.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: All the bylaws. Yeah.
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: The trick is- Can you just talk normal?
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: They don't have actual conversations when they want to push
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: something through.
- 1:18:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: So they quickly do it so no one can object.
- 1:18:04Speaker 4: Dude, I got a notice that the HOA for where
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: I live and where Gina lives, they're having their monthly meeting-
- 1:18:12Speaker 4: At the IHOP.
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: What?
- 1:18:14Speaker 4: And if people want to come by.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: Can we go?
- 1:18:16Speaker 4: I'm not going there.
- 1:18:18Speaker 8: Let's go.
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: It'd be so funny.
- 1:18:20Speaker 4: I'll tell you why they're doing that.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: Because they can expense that meal.
- 1:18:23Speaker 8: At the fanciest restaurant.
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: So you're paying for that. You're paying for them to
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: eat at the IHOP.
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: Yeah, because at this particular, it's actually a pretty big IHOP.
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: And they have a whole separate room that they usually
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: only open up on weekends when there's like a big,
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: huge crowd. Yeah, like an overflow crowd. So, you know,
- 1:18:36Speaker 4: there's like that room at the library.
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:18:39Speaker 4: I think it's the same thing, but you're also right. Like,
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: they want their stuffed French toast.
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: Yeah, those fat cats.
- 1:18:47Speaker 8: Big omelet.
- 1:18:48Speaker 4: If I paid for this, I might as well have it.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: Bite.
- 1:18:54Speaker 4: All right, welcome back, everybody.
- 1:18:57Speaker 6: Hi.
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: Thank you for being here. Woody, Greg, Menace, and Gina Grad.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: Hi.
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: Is there anything that just the sound by itself, is
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: there a sound that instantly triggers rage? Yes.
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: Seabass, you seem to have a thing with sounds. I
- 1:19:18Speaker 4: know like every once in a while if I hit
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: the bell, he does that thing like a little kid
- 1:19:21Speaker 4: at fireworks where he sticks his fingers in his ears.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: I'll just throw in there since you mentioned it. What
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: are you stupid radio bell? Woody's stupid radio bell. Yes.
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: And Vaughn's finger tapping.
- 1:19:32Speaker 13: Oh, yeah.
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. There's a lot of things with
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: him with sound. Table drumming. But that would drive anybody crazy.
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: Seabass should be the guy who walks around with the
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: noise cancelling headphones.
- 1:19:42Speaker 4: Yeah, like all the time. Like the brother in Something
- 1:19:45Speaker 4: About Mary. You know, this is a version, Greg, of.
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: That should be you walking around like that.
- 1:19:49Speaker 15: If you don't like all the garbage in my front yard,
- 1:19:51Speaker 15: just don't look. If you don't like all these gross,
- 1:19:53Speaker 15: terrible sounds, just don't listen. I just feel like there's
- 1:19:55Speaker 15: a lot of them for you that Well, you can
- 1:19:58Speaker 15: email two of them and I'm a thousand percent correct
- 1:20:00Speaker 15: on both.
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: Oh, okay. You heard it. Yeah.
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: But yeah, is there like a sound that just instantly.
- 1:20:08Speaker 12: Like, oh.
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: Yes. Can I share mine? Sure.
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: I call it boom boom music. So if somebody's in
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: their car and it's turned up so damn loud that
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: it's indistinguishable and all you hear from inside your house
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: is boom. And I'm convinced the person in the car
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: doesn't even enjoy it. It's the most annoying sound. This
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: is one of those people were asked things. And you
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: can send yours on the text over to 22987. But
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: it did make the list. Purposefully noisy cars.
- 1:20:36Speaker 8: The worst.
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: Like, no one thinks your Civic, you know.
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: No. Oh yeah, sounds better with the muffler on.
- 1:20:42Speaker 17: You can hear it.
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: Like two blocks away is cool. It's for airflow. It's
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: not fast.
- 1:20:49Speaker 4: It's screaming loud and it's going 20 miles an hour.
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: And by the way, you're actively breaking the law. We
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: just don't have enough cool cops to catch your ass.
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: And when something is that loud and bassy, you can
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: almost feel it in your ribs.
- 1:21:01Speaker 8: You absolutely can.
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: I hate that. Yeah.
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: Somebody said the default Apple radar alarm.
- 1:21:09Speaker 14: Well, yeah.
- 1:21:10Speaker 4: Yeah. I had that as my alarm for a minute.
- 1:21:13Speaker 4: And then, man, it just it drove my wife nuts. Oh,
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: that's because how can you stand that? Like, that's kind
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: of the point.
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: Yeah. Turn it off. Yeah.
- 1:21:20Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: You jump up. You need something like that. Anybody else?
- 1:21:24Speaker 8: Mine is.
- 1:21:25Speaker 16: And my husband does this all the time with coffee.
- 1:21:28Speaker 16: The sipping inward sound.
- 1:21:31Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: I agree with that.
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: I agree with that.
- 1:21:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:21:34Speaker 13: I hate.
- 1:21:35Speaker 8: I hate it so much.
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I knew that was on there.
- 1:21:39Speaker 15: The intentionally loud belch, which you might think, we like
- 1:21:42Speaker 15: belch and farts, but if you're sitting, let's say, in
- 1:21:45Speaker 15: an office and Vaughn's sitting there and he's like forcing
- 1:21:48Speaker 15: the air out, it's not like a, you know, covering whatever,
- 1:21:51Speaker 15: it's the bleh.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: I think it's funny. Okay, switch places, Greg. Okay. Making
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: slurping and sucking sounds while they eat wet fruit while
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: putting too much in their mouth at one time. Yeah.
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: I hate, uh, there's like something running right now that,
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: that is playing like all these noises, like one of those.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: And then also like eating an apple and then like
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: pouring of water, like coffee sound. Like I hate all
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: that stuff. Oh, what's the one that ASMR stuff?
- 1:22:22Speaker 4: No, the one that he is always mentioned is when
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: you get like, He doesn't like the ah.
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: I don't like that. Yeah, the whole pouring of everything. Yeah,
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: the pouring.
- 1:22:32Speaker 4: Like a pouring sound.
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: I like that. Yeah.
- 1:22:34Speaker 6: I know.
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: I find that. Never heard that before.
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: No, it's just like Menace has always hated it.
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: I hated it. It drives me nuts. It's also like,
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: I get it, sound guy. It sounds cool, you know?
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: We get it, sound guy. We get it. Yeah, sound guy.
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: We get it, sound guy. Oh, I'm going to make
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: it sound so crisp and clear. Socks. Hate it. The.
- 1:22:53Speaker 4: The little battery chirp when the smoke alarms die in.
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: Well, you only hear that in certain households. Yeah, like mine.
- 1:23:00Speaker 8: Like which ones, Seamus?
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: Like the ones where people are not paying attention to
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: their normal upkeep.
- 1:23:04Speaker 4: Well, that's the one where, you know, if it's going
- 1:23:07Speaker 4: to die, if it's going to hit that phase of
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: its life cycle, it's always when you're sleeping.
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: Every time.
- 1:23:15Speaker 4: It never does it like in the middle of the
- 1:23:16Speaker 4: day where it's like, oh, there's a. One of the
- 1:23:20Speaker 4: alarms that needs a battery change or something. Although you
- 1:23:23Speaker 4: don't even need those now. They sell the ones that
- 1:23:25Speaker 4: you could buy just like a regular Home Depot. And
- 1:23:27Speaker 4: it's like a lifetime. It's a 10-year or something like that.
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: A 10-year battery. It's built in.
- 1:23:31Speaker 4: So they're not even replaced. You have to replace the
- 1:23:33Speaker 4: entire thing.
- 1:23:34Speaker 8: We did that.
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: It's hardware.
- 1:23:35Speaker 8: I think it was your suggestion. We couldn't take it anymore.
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: Yeah, those are great. And they're not super expensive. But
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: think about it for 10 years. It's like LED light bulbs. Yeah, totally.
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: Totally.
- 1:23:43Speaker 8: You know what the other worst sound is? Touching a balloon,
- 1:23:46Speaker 8: like rubbing a balloon.
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: I don't mind that one. Oh, God, I hate it.
- 1:23:50Speaker 4: I will pull over. If I hear something knocking, rattling,
- 1:23:55Speaker 4: I'll go, where the hell is that coming from? I
- 1:23:58Speaker 4: can't immediately identify it in my car. I like the
- 1:24:00Speaker 4: inside of the car to be absolutely quiet.
- 1:24:02Speaker 8: You won't just turn the radio off?
- 1:24:03Speaker 4: Unless the radio, no, I will pull over and figure
- 1:24:06Speaker 4: out like what it is.
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. And that's enough to drive you crazy.
- 1:24:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:24:10Speaker 4: And now it's to the point where I've learned that
- 1:24:12Speaker 4: if somebody was just in my car, on the passenger side.
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: Seatbelt. And the seatbelt isn't the kind of like tucked
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: over the little like edge of the seat.
- 1:24:20Speaker 8: Yeah, a little jingly.
- 1:24:21Speaker 4: <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>.
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>.
- 1:24:28Speaker 4: It drives me nuts.
- 1:24:29Speaker 15: Now, Woody, I would assume if you drive a newer car,
- 1:24:32Speaker 15: you have active noise canceling on the interior.
- 1:24:35Speaker 4: Probably, but it doesn't affect, you know, the seatbelt stuff
- 1:24:40Speaker 4: that's not, yeah, like any kind of like metal banging
- 1:24:43Speaker 4: against other metal. in your vehicle, that it's the worst.
- 1:24:49Speaker 4: Somebody says on the deck, the fake twang singing style.
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: Yeah. I love it.
- 1:24:53Speaker 4: That's in virtually every country music song.
- 1:24:56Speaker 15: And is cultural appropriation at the highest order, but these
- 1:24:59Speaker 15: country music losers are too scared to, or just losers,
- 1:25:03Speaker 15: I guess.
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: Oblivious to point it out.
- 1:25:05Speaker 4: Somebody says, letting the door slam behind you every time
- 1:25:07Speaker 4: you enter or leave a room.
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: Menace. Yeah.
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: Well, the studio doors are a little bit different, but
- 1:25:13Speaker 4: I'm like, my son, can you close the door to your.
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: Room without it slamming?
- 1:25:18Speaker 4: Can you close a door or a drawer without slamming shut?
- 1:25:23Speaker 15: There's something about teenagers like that and like walking. They
- 1:25:26Speaker 15: just walk loud as hell and they're oblivious to it.
- 1:25:30Speaker 4: The sound of a baby or a toddler.
- 1:25:32Speaker 8: Just in general, like laughing. Yeah.
- 1:25:36Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:25:37Speaker 4: Because some people like women, right? They're like, Pre-programmed for,
- 1:25:41Speaker 4: you know, babies crying, right?
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: To have, like, some type of... Makes a morning, yeah. Yeah,
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: makes a morning, right? Let's see.
- 1:25:48Speaker 4: Someone says, when I'm vibing listening to music in the car,
- 1:25:51Speaker 4: then suddenly the volume drops away, only to be replaced
- 1:25:53Speaker 4: by the text message ping right over my music. That
- 1:25:56Speaker 4: is the most obnoxious, rage-inducing interruption there is.
- 1:26:00Speaker 14: That sucks.
- 1:26:00Speaker 8: Yeah, I do hate that.
- 1:26:03Speaker 4: This one says, unnecessary... Okay, CBass, I'm sure you and
- 1:26:06Speaker 4: I both agree on this one. I agree with this.
- 1:26:08Speaker 4: Unnecessary repetitive noises like finger tapping.
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: Yes, or finger drumming or beatboxing.
- 1:26:15Speaker 4: But the thing is, if it's on a beat or
- 1:26:18Speaker 4: there's some type of pattern to it, I don't mind that.
- 1:26:20Speaker 4: It's the randomness.
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:26:25Speaker 8: It's like it feels incomplete.
- 1:26:26Speaker 3: Well, it's insane.
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: I want to say, it's like if you were just
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: listening to... hail on a metal roof.
- 1:26:33Speaker 8: No, thank you.
- 1:26:34Speaker 4: There's no particular rhyme or reason. That's why it drives
- 1:26:37Speaker 4: me nuts when people do the popping of the bubble wrap.
- 1:26:40Speaker 3: It's in the same category as Whistle Guy. It only
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: entertains you.
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: Whistle Guy.
- 1:26:46Speaker 4: This one says, I can't brush my teeth or be
- 1:26:48Speaker 4: near somebody using just a manual brush. The sound just
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: sends chills down my spine.
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: I have no idea why. Why are you listening to that?
- 1:26:55Speaker 4: Well, if you're with somebody, your partner has a regular
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: manual toothbrush.
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: Pro tip, brush your teeth in the shower. Yeah.
- 1:27:05Speaker 4: So is there any other noise or sound like that
- 1:27:08Speaker 4: just instantly triggers rage?
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: You can't help it?
- 1:27:12Speaker 16: Yeah, I mean, I hate the balloon sound, but I
- 1:27:15Speaker 16: also hate when people go back and forth on cardboard.
- 1:27:18Speaker 4: Somebody else said styrofoam.
- 1:27:20Speaker 8: Yeah, same thing.
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: Same.
- 1:27:22Speaker 4: It says when you're driving to the park and that
- 1:27:24Speaker 4: thing in the back is a styrofoam cooler.
- 1:27:26Speaker 8: Yes, the squeak.
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: Squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak.
- 1:27:28Speaker 4: Squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak. 877-44-WOODY. You can text us over
- 1:27:33Speaker 4: to 22987. Let us know what you think on the text.
- 1:27:40Speaker 4: I don't know what Seabass is going to say about this,
- 1:27:42Speaker 4: but the self-driving stuff, like for full self-driving mode. Are
- 1:27:52Speaker 4: we really ready for primetime?
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: Well, so you're saying not Waymo's?
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: I mean, all that stuff, like the Waymo, the Tesla
- 1:28:02Speaker 4: self-driving thing.
- 1:28:03Speaker 15: The cybercams are rolling all around Austin and have been,
- 1:28:06Speaker 15: and the numbers, again, the numbers are in.
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: They are 90% safer than human-driven cars.
- 1:28:10Speaker 4: But what I'm saying is it's one of those things
- 1:28:12Speaker 4: that we should still, if you are behind the wheel
- 1:28:14Speaker 4: of one of these cars, you're still supposed to.
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: Be paying attention, right? I feel like we see so
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: many people now doing.
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: Brag videos on social media going like, And they have
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: their feet up on the center console.
- 1:28:25Speaker 14: As they should.
- 1:28:26Speaker 8: Check me out, I'm sleeping.
- 1:28:27Speaker 4: And they're driving at full speed down the road while
- 1:28:31Speaker 4: the full self-drive mode is doing its thing, which, okay.
- 1:28:35Speaker 4: I mean, I enjoy, I have in my car, I
- 1:28:38Speaker 4: have the, you know, where it does the.
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: The assist and stuff?
- 1:28:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, it'll take you around all the stuff
- 1:28:43Speaker 4: and whatever. But, like, in the speed, it controls the speed.
- 1:28:46Speaker 15: Right, right.
- 1:28:46Speaker 4: The traffic and stuff around you. But it still tells me,
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: it's looking for my eyes every, say, if I'm not
- 1:28:54Speaker 4: paying attention for more than 15 seconds.
- 1:28:56Speaker 15: It gives me an audible tone. That's why you got
- 1:28:58Speaker 15: a little mannequin head.
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: Yeah. See, that's what I was about to say. Like
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: I've been on board with CBAS since the beginning with
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: self-driving and I support it and I think it's awesome
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: and it's great. I'm not down with these dorks who
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: get these little mannequin heads.
- 1:29:12Speaker 4: Doing that kind of stuff.
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: Yeah. Tricking the system.
- 1:29:15Speaker 4: Or posting these videos. I'm like, dude, like, okay, so
- 1:29:18Speaker 4: God forbid. knock on wood, that you get into an
- 1:29:21Speaker 4: accident and there's videos all over your social media of
- 1:29:24Speaker 4: you showing off how you never drive.
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: Yeah, don't drive stupid. How you trick the system.
- 1:29:29Speaker 4: But I'm saying like the Tesla doesn't encourage that, right?
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: No.
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: They'll beep at you. But here's the thing. In a
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: CyberCab or a Waymo or a Zoox. That's different.
- 1:29:39Speaker 3: How is it different?
- 1:29:39Speaker 15: The CyberCab is the exact same system as every other Tesla.
- 1:29:42Speaker 15: And there is no steering wheel. You cannot grab that control.
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:29:45Speaker 8: That's so scary.
- 1:29:46Speaker 4: But like I'm saying, in that situation, you're not expected
- 1:29:48Speaker 4: to be driving. I'm saying when you are behind the
- 1:29:51Speaker 4: wheel and you are the driver of that vehicle.
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: It's the same system.
- 1:29:55Speaker 4: But you're the driver. But that particular car is not
- 1:30:00Speaker 4: legal to be without a driver.
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: You just nailed it. It's just the permits, but it's
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: the exact same system.
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:30:07Speaker 4: Well, a Tesla driver in Northern California was caught by
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: a cop.
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: Caught.
- 1:30:11Speaker 4: Sleeping behind the wheel while the car was going over
- 1:30:15Speaker 4: 60 mile an hour on the freeway.
- 1:30:17Speaker 8: Oh, my God.
- 1:30:17Speaker 4: So the cop pulled alongside, recorded the guy, just slumped over,
- 1:30:21Speaker 4: dark sunglasses, the car's in its full self-driving.
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: Mode or whatever. And safely driving is what it sounds like.
- 1:30:28Speaker 4: And he was eventually pulled over and given a ticket.
- 1:30:31Speaker 4: The police, they released a statement saying, quote, What's a
- 1:30:34Speaker 4: safe speed when the driver is asleep? The answer is zero.
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: Again, if it's a cyber cab, which is the same system,
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: it would not be a ticket.
- 1:30:43Speaker 4: But it's not a cyber cab.
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: But it's the same system.
- 1:30:45Speaker 16: Here's a question, and I think we know what the
- 1:30:47Speaker 16: answer is now. But Seabass, what do you think the
- 1:30:48Speaker 16: answer will be in the future? If you are wasted
- 1:30:52Speaker 16: and you are in the driver's seat, but it is
- 1:30:54Speaker 16: a self-driving car.
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: Oh, you're going to get a ticket. Yeah, that's going
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: to be a problem.
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: Why?
- 1:30:58Speaker 4: It's the same system.
- 1:30:59Speaker 8: That's what I'm asking.
- 1:31:00Speaker 4: That's the thing. Same system as a Tesla cab.
- 1:31:02Speaker 15: It's the same as being asleep. I'm not saying it
- 1:31:04Speaker 15: should be a ticket. I'm saying they're going to give
- 1:31:06Speaker 15: you a ticket. Now, because you could do that today
- 1:31:09Speaker 15: in a Waymo or a Zoox and you would be fine.
- 1:31:12Speaker 15: In fact, I guarantee people are in Las Vegas right
- 1:31:14Speaker 15: now riding around in Zooxes.
- 1:31:15Speaker 8: They're being responsible.
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: Hammered off their ass. Yeah.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:31:18Speaker 4: There's also a $ 1, 000 third-party kit from this company. They're
- 1:31:22Speaker 4: selling it. It turns your car into a self-driving experiment, basically.
- 1:31:26Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 1:31:27Speaker 4: People are installing it, modded, right, open-source versions of the software.
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: On top of that. Oh, my God.
- 1:31:33Speaker 4: And this one guy, here we go again, he posted
- 1:31:36Speaker 4: a video of his Tesla driving itself after his official
- 1:31:40Speaker 4: self-driving subscription ran out.
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: Oh. That's the thing.
- 1:31:43Speaker 4: Like, he has the– or had– How much do you.
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: Pay for that? Well, if you have a Cybertruck, it's included,
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: so don't have to worry about that. You wouldn't know.
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: What do they charge? I honestly don't know. It was
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: like $ 10, 000 last time I checked. Full self-driving cost for
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: a Tesla. You can do it by the month, right?
- 1:31:57Speaker 8: And I'm pretty sure you're going to void your warranty
- 1:31:59Speaker 8: on that.
- 1:31:59Speaker 4: So anyway, he didn't have the subscription, and he installed
- 1:32:02Speaker 4: one of these third-party kits for $ 1, 000. The feds, not thrilled.
- 1:32:07Speaker 4: They're investigating the company that's selling these things because there's
- 1:32:09Speaker 4: been five crashes. 11 people have been hurt. Three people
- 1:32:13Speaker 4: are dead.
- 1:32:14Speaker 8: God.
- 1:32:15Speaker 4: All because using the software that's been slamming into slow
- 1:32:19Speaker 4: or stop vehicles. It's not good.
- 1:32:21Speaker 2: It sounds like some Chinese hack.
- 1:32:22Speaker 15: Yeah. You can get the full self-driving breakdown is 99
- 1:32:25Speaker 15: a month for compatible vehicles.
- 1:32:27Speaker 2: $ 99 a month. Right. Or just buy a cyber truck
- 1:32:29Speaker 2: and it's fully included.
- 1:32:30Speaker 3: That's not bad. 99 a month.
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: $ 100 a month. You would pay that? I mean, if
- 1:32:36Speaker 2: I wanted it, yeah. I just took a.
- 1:32:39Speaker 4: Greg doesn't want to pay the $ 14 for a commercial
- 1:32:42Speaker 4: free YouTube.
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: I don't.
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: But if I had a Tesla and I wanted the
- 1:32:46Speaker 3: self-driving mode, I would think that they would be more, quote,
- 1:32:50Speaker 3: greedy than $ 99 a month. It doesn't sound like that much.
- 1:32:52Speaker 2: That seems a lot.
- 1:32:53Speaker 3: Considering some car companies now are charging you for heated seats.
- 1:32:56Speaker 2: Heated seats, yeah.
- 1:32:56Speaker 4: Stupid stuff like that. It sounds like a lot.
- 1:32:58Speaker 2: It doesn't even seem worth it to me now because
- 1:33:00Speaker 2: it's not really full self-driving. You have to touch it
- 1:33:03Speaker 2: every couple minutes. Not really.
- 1:33:05Speaker 15: I'll tell you, I just took a six plus hour
- 1:33:07Speaker 15: road trip with full self-driving and it And we underestimate
- 1:33:11Speaker 15: how much of our attention it does take to keep
- 1:33:13Speaker 15: your hands on the wheel and your eyes up and
- 1:33:14Speaker 15: all this other stuff.
- 1:33:16Speaker 2: It's a delight. It's like being in your own personal
- 1:33:17Speaker 2: little pod.
- 1:33:18Speaker 3: I've experienced it and I liked it on a freeway.
- 1:33:21Speaker 3: I hated it on surface streets. It was so slow.
- 1:33:24Speaker 3: The stops were like, not only full stops, like five seconds.
- 1:33:28Speaker 4: You know what my trick is now? If I got
- 1:33:30Speaker 4: to cut into like, say there's merging traffic, my trick
- 1:33:32Speaker 4: is now. Just find the closest Tesla because none of
- 1:33:36Speaker 4: them are driving.
- 1:33:37Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:33:37Speaker 4: And then it'll give you 13 car lengths. So the
- 1:33:41Speaker 4: minute you even start moving over, it just breaks.
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:33:43Speaker 4: And it gives you a nice big long entry into.
- 1:33:48Speaker 2: It is very courteous. Like people pulling into your lane,
- 1:33:51Speaker 2: it'll stop. It's very.
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: It is.
- 1:33:53Speaker 2: But I hate being behind one. I will always move
- 1:33:55Speaker 2: to not be behind a Tesla.
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:33:56Speaker 4: So if you're like, there's a like a construction coming
- 1:33:58Speaker 4: up and everybody's merging over to the one side or it.
- 1:34:01Speaker 4: Just find the closest Tesla and just start the minute
- 1:34:04Speaker 4: you even start moving into that general direction.
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: It'll back off.
- 1:34:07Speaker 4: It'll jam on the brakes. It'll say this way, please, sir.
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: You'll have plenty of room.
- 1:34:10Speaker 4: Come with me.
- 1:34:11Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:34:12Speaker 6: 877-44-1.
- 1:34:13Speaker 4: You can send us a text and you can check
- 1:34:14Speaker 4: in over to 22987. We've got some more Woody Show next.
- 1:34:18Speaker 2: Hang on.
- 1:34:19Speaker 17: The Woody Show.
- 1:34:19Speaker 2: Be back in a bit. The Woody Show.
- 1:34:25Speaker 9: All right.
- 1:34:25Speaker 4: Question for Menace and for Sammy.
- 1:34:27Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:34:29Speaker 4: What's the 21st century?
- 1:34:34Speaker 2: Other than the movie company?
- 1:34:35Speaker 4: Yeah, so when did the 21st century start? In 2000.
- 1:34:41Speaker 6: In 2000?
- 1:34:41Speaker 2: Wouldn't that be the 1900s?
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: The 1900s.
- 1:34:46Speaker 2: 20th century Fox. No, that's the 20th century. Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 1:34:50Speaker 2: Are you really using the movie thing as your frame
- 1:34:52Speaker 2: of reference on that?
- 1:34:53Speaker 8: Well, I used Xenon, Girl of the 21st Century as
- 1:34:55Speaker 8: my reference.
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: What? It was a Disney Channel movie. What is a century?
- 1:34:59Speaker 2: A century 100, right? Yes, 100 years.
- 1:35:02Speaker 4: 100 consecutive years. So it started January 1st, 2021.
- 1:35:08Speaker 2: No, 2001. I'm sorry.
- 1:35:09Speaker 4: Yeah, 2021 is the 21st century.
- 1:35:10Speaker 6: No. No.
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: It goes to 2100, doesn't it? No, 2001.
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 1:35:12Speaker 4: But shouldn't it be 2000?
- 1:35:13Speaker 2: No. It's January 1st because it goes through December 31st
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: of 2000. 21st century starts January 1st, 2001.
- 1:35:18Speaker 4: It goes through 12, 31, 2100.
- 1:35:19Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:35:36Speaker 3: And it wasn't zero to 100. It was one to 100.
- 1:35:38Speaker 8: Oh, you're right.
- 1:35:39Speaker 2: You're absolutely right. We're actually in the 1800s anyway, so
- 1:35:41Speaker 2: who cares?
- 1:35:41Speaker 6: Sure.
- 1:35:42Speaker 2: What? We are.
- 1:35:43Speaker 4: Well, the New York Times, they talked to TV critics
- 1:35:47Speaker 4: and showrunners to come up with this list of what
- 1:35:49Speaker 4: they say are the 100 best TV shows of the
- 1:35:52Speaker 4: 21st century. Oh, this is quite the... Divisive list. Well,
- 1:35:56Speaker 4: because it's TV critics, which, you know, we'll see how many, because,
- 1:36:00Speaker 4: you know, I think critics always like to just impress people.
- 1:36:03Speaker 8: Yes, impress each other.
- 1:36:03Speaker 2: Or find something kind of random. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:36:06Speaker 4: So, like, could we, you know, at least the majority
- 1:36:09Speaker 4: of us, would we agree that, okay, that show I
- 1:36:11Speaker 4: could see belonging on that list.
- 1:36:12Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:36:13Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:36:14Speaker 4: Again, the show must have premiered in January of 2000
- 1:36:18Speaker 4: or later.
- 1:36:19Speaker 2: Okay?
- 1:36:20Speaker 14: Okay.
- 1:36:21Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 1:36:21Speaker 4: The top 15... They have Six Feet Under.
- 1:36:25Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:36:27Speaker 4: It was a great show.
- 1:36:27Speaker 3: I never watched it.
- 1:36:28Speaker 2: You never watched it? I think Greg, I think you
- 1:36:29Speaker 2: would like that. That's the funeral home one, right? Yes,
- 1:36:31Speaker 2: it's great.
- 1:36:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I think you'd like that show. That's where everybody
- 1:36:33Speaker 4: first met, what's his name, became Dwight Schrute.
- 1:36:36Speaker 2: Yeah, Rainn Wilson. Rainn Wilson.
- 1:36:38Speaker 8: He had a little arc.
- 1:36:40Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:36:41Speaker 4: Friday Night Lights, which I never watched.
- 1:36:42Speaker 2: Neither.
- 1:36:43Speaker 4: Girls, which I hated.
- 1:36:45Speaker 8: It wasn't for you.
- 1:36:46Speaker 2: It wasn't the top 13th show of all time. Girls
- 1:36:49Speaker 2: in the 20s. Of the 21st century. Of all time,
- 1:36:50Speaker 2: 25 years.
- 1:36:52Speaker 4: Uh arrested development.
- 1:36:54Speaker 16: Yes saw some of it so funny finished it so
- 1:36:58Speaker 16: smart so fast such a great show.
- 1:37:01Speaker 4: The office the u.s version is at number 11.
- 1:37:03Speaker 8: It's comfort food it's a comfort show yeah it's.
- 1:37:06Speaker 4: A great show it is a great show you like
- 1:37:08Speaker 4: that show didn't you see bass yeah okay atlanta which
- 1:37:11Speaker 4: i've never watched.
- 1:37:12Speaker 2: That's a critic look at me i'm a critic.
- 1:37:14Speaker 15: That's a darling is that the one why it was
- 1:37:17Speaker 15: good Was it the 11th best show of the past
- 1:37:20Speaker 15: 25 years?
- 1:37:20Speaker 2: I would say it was really creative. Yeah, it was
- 1:37:24Speaker 2: very artsy. Yeah, yeah. So artsy people.
- 1:37:27Speaker 15: But name something from Atlanta that's like in pop culture,
- 1:37:29Speaker 15: in the general culture that we talk about.
- 1:37:31Speaker 4: Waffle House.
- 1:37:32Speaker 2: No. Not the actual city, but... It's.
- 1:37:35Speaker 8: A Coca-Cola factory.
- 1:37:36Speaker 2: Coca-Cola, CNN. CNN, yeah. Yeah, but nothing for that. At
- 1:37:39Speaker 2: least with... You know, with Banana Stand, and I'm sure
- 1:37:43Speaker 2: we'll go ahead. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:37:44Speaker 8: The cultural touchdowns.
- 1:37:45Speaker 2: There's nothing at that level.
- 1:37:46Speaker 3: No.
- 1:37:47Speaker 4: Number nine, Curb Your Enthusiasm.
- 1:37:49Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:37:49Speaker 2: Great show. Very culturally relevant as well, and good.
- 1:37:53Speaker 4: Number eight, 30 Rock.
- 1:37:54Speaker 11: Yes.
- 1:37:55Speaker 2: Never saw it.
- 1:37:55Speaker 8: Again, fast, smart, fast-paced, so many jokes.
- 1:37:58Speaker 2: I liked it.
- 1:37:59Speaker 4: I don't know if it would necessarily belong in... The
- 1:38:02Speaker 4: top 15.
- 1:38:02Speaker 2: Really? I don't think so. Oh, wow.
- 1:38:04Speaker 8: I love sitcoms.
- 1:38:05Speaker 2: I never caught on to that one. God, it was
- 1:38:06Speaker 2: so funny.
- 1:38:06Speaker 4: Dude, the other one that I tried really hard to
- 1:38:08Speaker 4: get into, and it's at number seven on the list.
- 1:38:10Speaker 4: I tried many times and tried and failed and thought
- 1:38:14Speaker 4: it was like, eh, it's all right. I don't think
- 1:38:16Speaker 4: it was as great as everybody said it was.
- 1:38:17Speaker 2: Veep.
- 1:38:18Speaker 8: Are you crazy?
- 1:38:19Speaker 4: I agree.
- 1:38:20Speaker 2: It is not a top 10 show of the past
- 1:38:22Speaker 2: 25 years.
- 1:38:23Speaker 8: The writing was so good.
- 1:38:25Speaker 2: It's so funny. It's aggressively annoying and it's aggressively screamy.
- 1:38:29Speaker 8: Well, the writing is aggressive. Kind of in the way
- 1:38:32Speaker 8: that 30 Rock is.
- 1:38:33Speaker 4: I tried. I really tried. I wanted to like it
- 1:38:35Speaker 4: because I like the people that are in the show.
- 1:38:38Speaker 2: I wanted to like it.
- 1:38:39Speaker 8: I thought you would love her. You'd love Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
- 1:38:42Speaker 4: I do like her. I like her character.
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: So mean.
- 1:38:46Speaker 4: Again, I don't know what it was because I wasn't
- 1:38:48Speaker 4: overhyped on it. It was one of those people watch
- 1:38:50Speaker 4: it and go, oh, you know what show you should
- 1:38:51Speaker 4: check out?
- 1:38:52Speaker 2: Veep. And I go, okay.
- 1:38:53Speaker 4: And I watched it. I'm like, I don't get it.
- 1:38:56Speaker 4: Maybe I'm not in the right headspace today. I'll try
- 1:38:58Speaker 4: it again later. And I tried it a number of times.
- 1:39:00Speaker 2: Loved it. Even on a plane. I downloaded a bunch
- 1:39:03Speaker 2: of episodes to my iPad and I tried to watch
- 1:39:05Speaker 2: it on the plane.
- 1:39:06Speaker 4: Fell asleep.
- 1:39:08Speaker 2: Number six.
- 1:39:10Speaker 4: A show that I know a ton of people love
- 1:39:12Speaker 4: and I'm sure it belongs on this list. I've never
- 1:39:13Speaker 4: seen a frame of it. Game of Thrones.
- 1:39:16Speaker 8: It's a hit.
- 1:39:16Speaker 2: Never saw one second.
- 1:39:19Speaker 12: I've never seen it either, but people were absolutely obsessed
- 1:39:22Speaker 12: with it when it was happening.
- 1:39:23Speaker 2: No, but then once the series finale hit.
- 1:39:27Speaker 12: Everybody got so pissed that they'll retrospectively go back and go,
- 1:39:30Speaker 12: I didn't like that show.
- 1:39:31Speaker 2: Yeah, because I'm telling you, all these nerd shows, they
- 1:39:34Speaker 2: just put in sex scenes for these nerds and then
- 1:39:37Speaker 2: they think it's awesome.
- 1:39:39Speaker 4: It was a culturally very significant. A lot of people
- 1:39:42Speaker 4: watched it. Now, there's a show at number five, never
- 1:39:46Speaker 4: seen it. And this one, just I think by title alone,
- 1:39:49Speaker 4: reeks of critics and like how critics would be like, oh, yeah, Fleabag.
- 1:39:54Speaker 8: Oh, you wouldn't like it.
- 1:39:56Speaker 2: I've heard of it.
- 1:39:57Speaker 8: I watched it.
- 1:39:57Speaker 2: It's won like every award.
- 1:39:59Speaker 4: But number five, like this is, again, the New York Times,
- 1:40:01Speaker 4: TV critics, showrunners.
- 1:40:02Speaker 2: I get that.
- 1:40:03Speaker 4: For the best TV shows of the 21st century. That's
- 1:40:06Speaker 4: at number five.
- 1:40:07Speaker 2: On the list.
- 1:40:08Speaker 16: I get why critics would say that. It breaks the
- 1:40:09Speaker 16: fourth wall. It's kind of, it has a lot of emotion,
- 1:40:12Speaker 16: but yeah, you would.
- 1:40:13Speaker 2: Not like it. Yeah, and it wasn't that great.
- 1:40:14Speaker 4: And there was only like 12 episodes.
- 1:40:15Speaker 14: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:40:16Speaker 2: It was very short. Number four. It should die.
- 1:40:20Speaker 4: A show that I definitely is on my watch list, Succession.
- 1:40:23Speaker 2: It's great.
- 1:40:24Speaker 8: And actually kind of funny.
- 1:40:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:40:26Speaker 15: Well, it was written as because you remember it was
- 1:40:28Speaker 15: an Adam McKay and Will Ferrell, I think, developed it.
- 1:40:30Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:40:30Speaker 2: So it's really written as a sitcom, but with a
- 1:40:33Speaker 2: lot of dramatic elements.
- 1:40:34Speaker 16: Well, the first time I ever saw it, I was
- 1:40:36Speaker 16: in a hotel room and I didn't know what I
- 1:40:38Speaker 16: was watching because the kind of the shaky handheld camera
- 1:40:40Speaker 16: and the fast pace.
- 1:40:41Speaker 8: I was like, is this a comedy? I'm not sure,
- 1:40:42Speaker 8: but it's great.
- 1:40:44Speaker 4: Number three, Mad Men.
- 1:40:45Speaker 11: Yep.
- 1:40:47Speaker 3: I started that recently, and I made it about four episodes.
- 1:40:51Speaker 3: I'm like, eh, I'm done. Really?
- 1:40:52Speaker 2: I love that show.
- 1:40:54Speaker 4: Number two, The Wire.
- 1:40:56Speaker 8: Couldn't do it. Every person I respect says, Gina, The
- 1:41:00Speaker 8: Wire will be your favorite show.
- 1:41:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I liked it.
- 1:41:02Speaker 8: Totally do not get it.
- 1:41:03Speaker 4: I didn't love it the way that a lot of
- 1:41:05Speaker 4: people loved it.
- 1:41:05Speaker 6: Not at all.
- 1:41:06Speaker 16: I made it through half of season two.
- 1:41:08Speaker 4: Man, what's his name? He played Chalky White in Boardwalk Empire.
- 1:41:12Speaker 8: Something K.
- 1:41:13Speaker 2: Michael K. Williams.
- 1:41:14Speaker 11: Yes.
- 1:41:15Speaker 4: His character was fantastic. I really enjoyed him and that character.
- 1:41:22Speaker 4: But some of the other stuff, it was just... Also,
- 1:41:24Speaker 4: I couldn't get over because it was so annoying to
- 1:41:25Speaker 4: me every time I'd hear it. Because it's all in Baltimore. Baltimore.
- 1:41:30Speaker 2: Baltimore.
- 1:41:30Speaker 4: And they would say, a police. Instead of calling the police,
- 1:41:35Speaker 4: they'd say, oh, I'm going to call a police on you.
- 1:41:37Speaker 4: Or a police shows up.
- 1:41:40Speaker 3: And that's what you zeroed in on.
- 1:41:41Speaker 4: Because it was just so annoying.
- 1:41:44Speaker 2: Especially for the early 2000s. It was something no one
- 1:41:46Speaker 2: had ever done.
- 1:41:47Speaker 4: But good show.
- 1:41:48Speaker 2: I liked it. Again, I liked it. I didn't love it.
- 1:41:51Speaker 15: And back real quick to Mad Men. There's a lot
- 1:41:52Speaker 15: of cheating in that, which is why Sammy loved it.
- 1:41:54Speaker 2: Oh, that makes a lot more sense. A lot of sense.
- 1:41:56Speaker 2: And then number one, Breaking Bad. Of course.
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:42:00Speaker 3: It has to.
- 1:42:00Speaker 4: Correct.
- 1:42:01Speaker 2: I could not get into it.
- 1:42:02Speaker 3: Oh my God, Sammy.
- 1:42:03Speaker 2: What is wrong with you? Yeah, we get it. It's
- 1:42:05Speaker 2: not a Disney show.
- 1:42:05Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not on the Hallmark channel.
- 1:42:08Speaker 2: I like Mad Men. I haven't watched one. Well, the
- 1:42:10Speaker 2: cheating is in there. Of Breaking Bad? Of Breaking Bad. Oh,
- 1:42:13Speaker 2: my God.
- 1:42:14Speaker 4: Dude, I'm so jealous.
- 1:42:15Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:42:16Speaker 4: You can watch it today for the first time and
- 1:42:17Speaker 4: have no idea what's going on.
- 1:42:18Speaker 2: It's so good. How long would it take?
- 1:42:21Speaker 4: To get through the entire series? I believe 10 seasons,
- 1:42:24Speaker 4: was it?
- 1:42:24Speaker 6: No.
- 1:42:25Speaker 2: Six? No, it was shorter.
- 1:42:27Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:42:27Speaker 2: It would take a good chunk of the week.
- 1:42:29Speaker 8: We did a rewatch recently. You could do it in
- 1:42:31Speaker 8: a couple weeks.
- 1:42:32Speaker 4: I'm saying if you just sat and did nothing else.
- 1:42:33Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:42:34Speaker 8: Oh, I thought you had other stuff to do.
- 1:42:35Speaker 2: 62 episodes only. So I can do it in a weekend, right? Very,
- 1:42:41Speaker 2: very lazy. That's all you did. At this point, why
- 1:42:43Speaker 2: don't we just all liquidate our bank account and take
- 1:42:46Speaker 2: the money and put it in the fire? I'm looking
- 1:42:49Speaker 2: for real answers. The Woody Show.
- 1:42:52Speaker 4: There's always going to be arguments, disagreements, people having things
- 1:42:55Speaker 4: to say. You know, when you have one of these
- 1:42:58Speaker 4: things like the New York Times, the TV critics they
- 1:43:00Speaker 4: talk to, the showrunners they talk to, they came up
- 1:43:03Speaker 4: with a list of what they said were the 100
- 1:43:05Speaker 4: best TV shows ever. Of the 21st century. OK, so
- 1:43:09Speaker 4: the best TV shows of the 21st century. Breaking Bad,
- 1:43:13Speaker 4: The Wire, Mad Men, Succession, Fleabag, Game of Thrones, Veep,
- 1:43:17Speaker 4: 30 Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Atlanta. That's the top 10. Yeah,
- 1:43:24Speaker 4: there's not a single Taylor Sheridan show, so no Yellowstone
- 1:43:27Speaker 4: on there. Despite Yellowstone being so popular, I mean, there's
- 1:43:30Speaker 4: eight billion spinoffs.
- 1:43:31Speaker 8: It's not a Critics, darling.
- 1:43:32Speaker 4: Yeah, but that's not going to be a Critics. It's
- 1:43:35Speaker 4: an everyman, darling. That's a fun show, Yellowstone. Some other
- 1:43:39Speaker 4: things that people were asking for. Hey, where was Stranger Things? Well,
- 1:43:43Speaker 4: that was number 53. It had number 53 on the list.
- 1:43:46Speaker 8: Wow, that's pretty far down.
- 1:43:48Speaker 2: Here you go, Sammy.
- 1:43:48Speaker 4: Somebody asked about Gilmore Girls.
- 1:43:50Speaker 8: Yes, the best.
- 1:43:51Speaker 2: Gilmore Girls.
- 1:43:53Speaker 4: Out of 100 that they ranked, it's number 99.
- 1:43:56Speaker 2: What? That's ridiculous. At least it made the list.
- 1:43:59Speaker 4: The only one below that was Scandal.
- 1:44:01Speaker 2: Never seen it.
- 1:44:02Speaker 8: Yeah, it was boring.
- 1:44:03Speaker 4: A lot of people talking about Schitt's Creek.
- 1:44:06Speaker 8: Yeah, funny.
- 1:44:07Speaker 4: That was at number 34.
- 1:44:08Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:44:08Speaker 2: That is a rewatch over and over and over. These
- 1:44:12Speaker 2: seem to be a lot of current on the list.
- 1:44:14Speaker 2: Is there anything a little bit older? Dexter's on there.
- 1:44:18Speaker 8: Only the last 25 or so years.
- 1:44:20Speaker 4: Ozark's on there.
- 1:44:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:44:22Speaker 4: Well, so The Office, the U.S. version, was at number 11.
- 1:44:26Speaker 4: And whenever you would watch that, you'd go, the U.K.
- 1:44:29Speaker 2: Version's better.
- 1:44:30Speaker 17: No.
- 1:44:31Speaker 4: Which I tried. That's the other one.
- 1:44:32Speaker 2: I tried McMahon.
- 1:44:33Speaker 4: I loved The Office so much. I wanted more. I
- 1:44:34Speaker 4: was creating anything Office-related. I'm like, oh, well, this has
- 1:44:38Speaker 4: got to be pretty good. And I like Ricky Gervais.
- 1:44:40Speaker 2: A lot, obviously.
- 1:44:41Speaker 3: Yeah, of course.
- 1:44:41Speaker 2: Oh, here you girls go. Survivor's on there. That started
- 1:44:44Speaker 2: in 2000. Yeah.
- 1:44:45Speaker 3: But like Menace, not seeing Breaking Bad, I've never seen
- 1:44:47Speaker 3: a frame of The Office.
- 1:44:48Speaker 2: That's so crazy. Not even a clip.
- 1:44:50Speaker 4: The UK version of The Office is at number 16.
- 1:44:53Speaker 5: Meh.
- 1:44:53Speaker 6: Lost.
- 1:44:55Speaker 2: Yep. That's older.
- 1:44:56Speaker 8: Just re-watched it.
- 1:44:57Speaker 2: Started good. Never saw it. Went to crap. Yeah, never
- 1:44:59Speaker 2: watched it.
- 1:45:00Speaker 4: That's at number 22, Parks and Rec.
- 1:45:03Speaker 8: Never saw it.
- 1:45:04Speaker 2: I like that show. Every time I watch it, because
- 1:45:06Speaker 2: it comes on Comedy Central, I hate it more and more. Oh,
- 1:45:08Speaker 2: that's good. Because it's, oh, we're having nice, fun, clean comedy, a.k.a.
- 1:45:13Speaker 2: not funny comedy.
- 1:45:14Speaker 8: Well, it seems cutesy.
- 1:45:15Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. Everything's got to be heartfelt.
- 1:45:18Speaker 4: So, Parks and Rec was at number 50, and there's
- 1:45:21Speaker 4: another show at number 97, which... It's another one I
- 1:45:24Speaker 4: tried to get into. and just couldn't.
- 1:45:27Speaker 2: Community. Yes!
- 1:45:28Speaker 8: Same, yeah.
- 1:45:29Speaker 2: It's the same thing. Parks and Rec and community is
- 1:45:32Speaker 2: basically the same thing.
- 1:45:33Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 1:45:33Speaker 2: I liked them both.
- 1:45:34Speaker 15: When I heard the premise of community before it premiered, like, oh,
- 1:45:38Speaker 15: they're going to make fun of, like, loser community school
- 1:45:40Speaker 15: kids or community college kids, which I can say.
- 1:45:42Speaker 2: Because I'm in community college. It's quite the opposite. No,
- 1:45:44Speaker 2: it's all heartfelt and lovely.
- 1:45:46Speaker 15: It's not like dirtbags trying to get their, like, master's
- 1:45:48Speaker 15: degree or whatever.
- 1:45:49Speaker 4: Somebody says, what, no Ted Lasso? Well, it's in the
- 1:45:52Speaker 4: top 100. They have it at number 75.
- 1:45:54Speaker 8: Yeah, still, I don't get Ted Lasso at all.
- 1:45:56Speaker 2: Oh, I love it.
- 1:45:56Speaker 8: I'm watching it currently.
- 1:45:57Speaker 2: So good. Nice.
- 1:45:58Speaker 4: New York Times.
- 1:45:59Speaker 2: Be back, baby.
- 1:46:00Speaker 4: Polling the TV critics and the show runners to come
- 1:46:02Speaker 4: up with the best TV shows of the 21st century.
- 1:46:05Speaker 2: They have Modern Family, Greg. Loved it. Great show. That
- 1:46:09Speaker 2: was a fantastic show.
- 1:46:09Speaker 4: Number 77. Squid Game at number 72. Oh, that's pretty great.
- 1:46:14Speaker 2: You would love it. So good. Really?
- 1:46:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:46:18Speaker 2: It's awesome.
- 1:46:19Speaker 3: So violent and so deadly and so gruesome.
- 1:46:22Speaker 2: I don't know that he would. I think he would. Well,
- 1:46:23Speaker 2: he liked the first season.
- 1:46:25Speaker 3: It was fantastic. The subsequent ones were boring. I think
- 1:46:29Speaker 3: you would love it.
- 1:46:30Speaker 4: The White Lotus at number 21.
- 1:46:32Speaker 2: So overrated.
- 1:46:34Speaker 4: Dexter at number 88.
- 1:46:35Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:46:36Speaker 2: And what's the other one? Oh, Greg. Hacks. Made the list.
- 1:46:42Speaker 3: Fantastic.
- 1:46:43Speaker 4: At number 42.
- 1:46:45Speaker 3: The final season was a letdown.
- 1:46:47Speaker 2: Yeah. No. Number 42. A great show.
- 1:46:50Speaker 4: Every time I see a list like this, it's always like,
- 1:46:52Speaker 4: all right, well, add some more shows to the list.
- 1:46:55Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:46:56Speaker 4: I'll probably die before I get around to 90% of
- 1:46:59Speaker 4: what's on my watch list.
- 1:47:00Speaker 3: What is that precious hipstery one about? school in Venice, California,
- 1:47:05Speaker 3: like Abbott Kinney or Abbott Elementary.
- 1:47:07Speaker 2: No, no, that's Philly. No, it's supposed to be Philadelphia.
- 1:47:09Speaker 3: Oh, is it?
- 1:47:10Speaker 4: It's Abbott Elementary.
- 1:47:12Speaker 3: I thought there was one that was called Abbott Kinney
- 1:47:14Speaker 3: or Abbott.
- 1:47:15Speaker 15: No.
- 1:47:15Speaker 2: That sounds familiar, Greg. I don't know. That seems like,
- 1:47:18Speaker 2: to me, the... Street. Slater Kidding. Slater Kidding.
- 1:47:22Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:47:22Speaker 2: That the critics would love. Yeah.
- 1:47:25Speaker 4: Abbott Elementary is just a sitcom based in Philly.
- 1:47:28Speaker 2: But it is very kind and nice. And we have
- 1:47:31Speaker 2: a good message. And I like it. It's good. Exactly.
- 1:47:33Speaker 4: I didn't see It's Always Sunny on that list.
- 1:47:36Speaker 17: That's crazy.
- 1:47:36Speaker 15: Well, there's not a lot of dirty R-rated comics in there.
- 1:47:39Speaker 16: Well, that's what I was going to say when CBass
- 1:47:41Speaker 16: is like, with community, where are the dirt bags? They're
- 1:47:43Speaker 16: on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
- 1:47:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:47:44Speaker 2: True. True.

- 1:48:39Speaker 6: All right.
- 1:48:40Speaker 2: Yeah, because you believe in yourself. What about that one
- 1:48:43Speaker 2: where they deliver it on top of a Mini Cooper?
- 1:48:46Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 1:48:47Speaker 8: Mamas and Papas.
- 1:48:48Speaker 2: Something like that. This giant pie. They're like four feet
- 1:48:51Speaker 2: by four feet.
- 1:48:52Speaker 8: That's the best marketing ever.
- 1:48:53Speaker 2: I've seen those here at work before. It was a
- 1:48:55Speaker 2: smart car, even smaller. Yeah, smart car. That was a
- 1:48:58Speaker 2: great idea. That could be a personal piece. Could be.
- 1:49:01Speaker 2: I worked with this guy. I was an intern at
- 1:49:02Speaker 2: this radio station. This guy was huge, man. He would take.
- 1:49:06Speaker 4: a large pizza, like a Domino's kind of pizza, and
- 1:49:09Speaker 4: just roll it up and eat it like a burrito.
- 1:49:12Speaker 4: Right there in the studio while he was on the air.
- 1:49:14Speaker 10: Nice.
- 1:49:14Speaker 2: Because I would have to go pick up the pizza.
- 1:49:15Speaker 2: I was an intern. I had to go pick up
- 1:49:16Speaker 2: the pizza, bring it to him. He'd roll it up
- 1:49:19Speaker 2: and just eat it like a burrito.
- 1:49:21Speaker 8: Radio people are monsters.
- 1:49:22Speaker 2: And this guy, I mean, this dude was huge. He
- 1:49:24Speaker 2: was huge. Nice guy.
- 1:49:25Speaker 6: All right.
- 1:49:26Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Greg Gorey. You got it. Thank
- 1:49:28Speaker 2: you so much for giving The Woody Show some of
