The Congressional Oversight Committee Releases The Epstein Related Bill Gates Transcript (6/24/26) · The Vault: The Epstein Files

0:00
Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
0:03
Epstein Chronicles. Over the past twenty four hours, the House
0:08
Oversight Committee has released the transcript from their interview with
0:11
Bill Gates and with Leslie Groff, and now that we
0:14
have access to both of those transcripts, we'll get those
0:17
added to the catalog as well. And my plan is
0:20
to dive into the Bill Gates transcript as soon as
0:23
we're done with Tovin O weel and we're pretty close
0:25
to wrapping that one up. We don't have much further
0:28
to go as far as that interview, so as soon
0:31
as that one's done, we'll get started on the Bill
0:34
Gates transcript and then after that we'll dive right into
0:38
Leslie Groff. But before we dive into those transcripts, we
0:42
have an article from CNN and the headline Gates says
0:46
he didn't witness crimes, but may have been in the
0:48
presence of Epstein victims. This article was authored by Annie
0:53
Grayer and Olina Fayes. Billionaire Bill Gates testify that he
0:59
never interacts did with victims of Jeffrey Epstein, but acknowledge
1:03
that he may have been in their presence. According to
1:05
a transcript of his closed door interview with the House
1:08
Oversight Committee, released on Tuesday. Well, there's no doubt. If
1:13
you're going to consider Sarah Kellen a victim, and you're
1:17
going to consider Nadia Marsenkova a victim, then there's no
1:20
doubt that Bill Gates was in their presence and around them.
1:24
Of course, that doesn't mean that Bill Gates was partaking
1:27
in the abuse, but it does mean that Bill Gates
1:32
knew a lot more than he let on, and who
1:34
knows what kind of information he had that could have
1:37
been helpful to an investigation. You don't come forward the
1:40
second a guy like that gets arrested, even if you
1:44
make pretend you didn't know previously. He gets arrested in
1:47
twenty nineteen, and you don't have your legal team reach
1:50
out right away to the FBI and say, look, I
1:52
had a relationship with him, but I didn't see anything crazy.
1:57
I'd love to come in and talk to you guys
1:58
and see if there's anything I need know that might
2:01
help out. I mean, that would be the decent thing
2:03
to do, right and I'm sure most people out there
2:05
would do that. You find out, like you know, a
2:08
coworker or a friend is under investigation or has been
2:12
arrested for this kind of thing, and the first thing
2:16
I'm going to be thinking is what do I know?
2:19
Did I ever see anything crazy? Can I help the investigation?
2:24
But people like Bill Gates instead, he went the opposite direction, right,
2:28
lied about it, tried to downplay it, tried to whitewash it.
2:32
But this day and age, with how quickly everything moves,
2:35
social media and otherwise very difficult to do. You can
2:39
only hide things for so long, especially when you have
2:43
all of this attention on the topic. And it's one
2:45
of the main reasons that I have no remorse for
2:47
these people. This isn't something that you know, just showed
2:52
up and has become a problem for them. They've known
2:55
about their relationships with Epstein for all these years, and
3:00
the vast majority of these people lied about it. The
3:04
Microsoft co founder maintained in the voluntary interview which took
3:08
place on Capitol Hill earlier this month, that his three
3:12
year relationship with a convicted sex offender was strictly professional
3:16
and that he never witnessed or participated in any sexual misconduct.
3:21
And again, look, there's no evidence of that. Nobody's making
3:25
those allegations. The problem for Bill Gates is the fact
3:29
that he lied about that relationship. So of course that
3:32
makes people wonder what else are you lying about? And
3:36
just because we don't have evidence of it doesn't mean
3:39
something else didn't happen, Right, That's why we have to
3:42
have an investigation. And when you get caught up with
3:46
somebody like Jeffrey Epstein, don't come crying to me that
3:49
you're swept up in some vast investigation where they're looking
3:54
at your behavior and if you were engaging in any
3:57
kind of abuse. Fellow Travelers and all but Democratic Representative
4:03
Robert Garcia pointed that the panel's investigation has shown that
4:07
some of Epstein's employees were also abused by the late financier,
4:12
making it difficult for Gates to rule out that he
4:14
was never around any of Epstein's victims. Well, that's true,
4:18
and that goes for everybody. Now, the defense is going
4:22
to be they didn't know, they had no idea what
4:24
was going on. They thought they were just Jeffrey Epstein's assistants.
4:29
Because there's no talk, right, there's no scuttle, but nobody
4:33
has anything to say out of the side of their mouth.
4:37
That's a very good point, said Gates, who acknowledged he
4:40
saw some of Epstein's female employees at the end of
4:43
a meeting on one of Epstein's planes. He added, I
4:46
may have been in the presence of victims, not may
4:50
have been. You were, And even if you just think
4:52
that you were around people who were being trafficked, that's
4:56
something that you should be telling the authorities. All right, Look,
5:00
I didn't know then, but I know now, and this
5:03
is what I saw, this is when I saw it,
5:05
and this is where I saw it. But instead it
5:09
has to be this whole entire circus, right Congress, etc.
5:14
Bill Gates could have easily held a press conference years
5:18
ago and cleaned this all up, or at the very
5:22
least explained his relationship, but instead he justled and the
5:27
legacy media, well they ran with it. Oh. Bill Gates
5:31
is such a great guy. He's trying to cure malaria.
5:33
He would never do something like that. It's a vast
5:36
right wing conspiracy. Yeah, well guess what is it? Still
5:40
a vast right wing conspiracy. As part of the Oversight
5:44
Committee's ongoing probe, the Panels saught Gates testimony after the
5:48
release of additional Epstein files by the Justice Department this
5:51
year raised questions about his ties to the late convicted
5:55
sex offender. Well, if you would have just paid attention
5:58
years ago, when we all told you what was going
6:00
going on, maybe Epstein would have been held to account,
6:03
maybe the people that enabled them would have been called
6:05
out onto the carpet. But everybody was way too busy
6:09
when this story was breaking to actually give a damn.
6:14
And we're not going to engage in any revisionist history
6:17
here and give people credit for showing up late to
6:20
the party. I mean, where were all these people out
6:22
when Virginia was begging for people to listen to her.
6:25
Where were all these big gigantic media outlets when the
6:29
survivors were coming out telling their stories and being absolutely trashed.
6:33
The thing is, this wasn't profitable back then, so they
6:37
had no desire to report on it, and they also
6:40
didn't want to out their buddies. I mean, remember what
6:43
Nancy Pelosi's own daughter said that some of our faves
6:47
are going to be outed, And there's no doubt that
6:51
some of the faves have been outed. The panel also
6:55
Tuesday released the transcript of Epstein's longtime assistant Leslie Groff,
6:59
who characterized her former boss as a master and manipulator,
7:03
and said she did not know about his crimes. Groff
7:06
revealed that she connected Epstein and President Donald Trump, then
7:09
a private citizen, on the phone multiple times over a
7:12
period of ten years, but said she did not know
7:15
the content of those conversations. Trump has long denied any
7:20
wrongdoing related to Epstein, as well as any allegations of
7:24
sexual misconduct. Well, I'm sure he'll deny the phone calls too. Oh,
7:29
that didn't happen. He called my office. I didn't want
7:32
to talk to him. We were never friends. You know,
7:35
the same old song and dance we get all the time.
7:38
And then you'll have James Calmer coming out, drooling and
7:42
just going along with whatever the president says. CNN has
7:47
reached out to representatives for Gates and Graff for comment.
7:51
In his interview, Gates laid out how Epstein attempted to
7:53
use information about the Microsoft co founder's personal life, including
7:58
that he had been unfaithful in his marriage, to pressure him. Yeah, blackmail,
8:03
compromitt But I thought Cash Ptel said that didn't happen
8:08
and none of that existed. Could it be that Cash
8:11
Patel is lying? Could that possibly be the case. Now, look,
8:16
I'm not hip to the you know, ancient Scandinavian religion
8:20
of a sartu or whatever it's called. But do you
8:23
get to Valhalla if you're lying? I wonder how Odin
8:27
feels about people that protect diddlers. My guess is they're
8:32
going to have a date with Thores Hammer, That's my guess.
8:37
But having the audacity to get up there and try
8:39
and tell people that there was no blackmail, no compromont,
8:42
that none of that occurred, is just straight up lunacy.
8:49
After he cut ties with Epstein in twenty fourteen, Gates
8:52
were called one instance in which Epstein emailed asking for
8:55
reimbursement for expenses Epstein had paid for related to a
8:59
woman Gate had an affair with. Why would Epstein be
9:02
paying for those expenses? That seems like a good question
9:06
to ask. No, Bill Gates can't front the bill short
9:11
on dough. Uncle Funzelo is in town? Does he have
9:17
short arms and deep pockets? What's going on? Why is
9:23
it that Jeffrey Epstein's involved in any way when it
9:26
comes to Bill Gates's love life? These are very simple
9:30
questions and we have no answers for them. And this testimony.
9:36
I don't think it really provides the answers that we're
9:38
looking for. I communicated to my key person, top person
9:44
at Gates Ventures, Larry Cohen, that we were never going
9:47
to pay anything. Gates testified. Gates was introduced to Epstein
9:52
in twenty eleven through one of his most trusted employees,
9:55
doctor Boris Nikolic, whom Gates believes told Epstein about two
10:00
of the extra marital affairs behind closed doors. Investigators press
10:04
Gates about other potential affairs, arguing it was relevant to
10:08
determine whether Gates had any other ties to the convicted
10:12
sex offender, but Gates and his legal team pushed back, Yeah,
10:15
it's a voluntary interview. Refer to the last episode and
10:21
why the voluntary interviews and the whole process is a
10:24
bunch of bs. The tech billionaire pointed specifically to the
10:29
draft emails that Epstein appears to have written to himself
10:32
in twenty thirteen that include a series of graphic, unverified
10:36
allegations against Gates, and argued that Epstein would have mentioned
10:40
other affairs there, or maybe not, maybe he was holding
10:44
some back. You don't just launch your whole entire salvo
10:48
right away, right do the Gruccies fire off all the
10:51
fireworks at the beginning, or do that wait for the
10:55
end and then launch everything in a grand finale. I
10:59
think that Epstein, when he was writing emails to himself,
11:02
took every potential negative thing he knew, and some that
11:05
are completely false, and he put those into draft emails
11:08
to himself. Gates said. And so I think if in
11:11
some weird way he discovered anything negative to say about me,
11:15
he would have seen that in the emails that he
11:17
sent to himself. Yeah, I don't buy that. Nice excuse,
11:20
but I don't buy it. Okay, Sorry, Billy boy Gates.
11:26
In the stream of conscious notes riddled with typos and vitriol,
11:29
which Gates has stated or false, Epstein appears to claim
11:33
he facilitated sexual encounters four Gates and helped him obtain
11:37
medication to hide and his sexually transmitted infection from his wife. Look,
11:43
I don't know if that's true. Could it be for sure?
11:48
I mean Bill Gates has the ability to keep that hidden.
11:51
A few palms greased here, a few bags dropped off there,
11:55
and everything's all good. In his closed door interview, Gates
11:59
said that he never had an STD, but that it's possible.
12:02
He communicated to Nikolch that he was worried that he
12:05
might have had one. Oh boy, I bet who he
12:09
had one. He probably had the clap or something. I mean,
12:12
if you're out here and you're doing what he was
12:15
doing allegedly with all these affairs, is it that big
12:19
of Elipe? Upon meeting Epstein in twenty eleven, Gate said
12:24
he was aware of the financier had a criminal conviction
12:27
that was of a sexual nature, but still said he
12:30
was interested in pursuing a professional relationship with Epstein, who
12:34
claimed he could raise billions of dollars for global health.
12:38
Ah well, you know, global health and all to help
12:40
with the girls that were abused, to hell with the
12:42
people that had their lives ruined, because you know, he
12:45
can raise some money. To this day, Gate said he
12:49
wishes he had not ignored Epstein's bad reputation in pursuit
12:52
of philanthropic opportunity that never came to fruition. Even though
12:56
Epstein tried to invite him to the island or social functions,
13:00
Gates said he was conscious not to cross that threshold
13:04
because of Epstein's criminal conviction. Oh well, I'll pander to
13:07
him for some money. And I'll show up like a beggar,
13:10
but I'm not going to go to his island. Save it, okay,
13:14
please save the bullshit. I have regret that I didn't
13:17
factor that into a greater degree, Gates testified. Gates also
13:21
said that he finds it confusing how Epstein was able
13:24
to accumulate his wealth, and noted that Epstein's New York
13:27
City apartment was one of the most spacious homes in
13:30
Manhattan he has ever seen. Yeah, well, no shit, and
13:35
we all know how he got his money. Stop. Can
13:38
we just stop with the nonsense? Please dancing around the edges.
13:42
This man gained all that money and kept it growing
13:45
by laundering it, and not just for himself, for all
13:49
of his buddies too. You know all these people that
13:51
you want to have empathy for, Yeah, those people. Gates said.
13:56
He also voluntarily cooperated with the Attorney General of the
13:59
US Verse, Jann Islands, by sitting for an interview and
14:02
providing some financial documents, though he did not specify when
14:06
that was. During the Denise, George moved to try and
14:09
get the sicco suit going, and that was in pursuit
14:13
of that graft. Meanwhile, is one of the most notable
14:17
members of the late financiers in her orbit to speak
14:20
to Congress as part of his Epstein investigation. A ubiquitous
14:24
assistant who helped manage every aspect of Epstein's life, from
14:28
scheduling massages to appointments with women to meetings with powerful individuals,
14:34
as evidenced in the Justice departments millions of Epstein files.
14:38
But Graff's denials that she had any knowledge about Epstein's
14:42
wrongdoing was immediately met with condemnation from survivors. And I
14:46
agree with that too. Now, Leslie Groff, I don't think
14:51
was engaging in abuse, but she enabled it. She was
14:56
a co conspirator. And if she was setting up phone
14:59
calls and she was, you know, providing logistics, then she's
15:03
part of the regal operation. The whole entire point of
15:06
RICO is to go after shit like this. Groff said
15:12
she believed that everyone she scheduled Epstein for a massage
15:15
was a massage therapist, and said that she considered it
15:18
to be an independent contractor type of situation. Of course
15:22
she did. What's she going to incriminate herself? Oh yeah,
15:25
I knew I did it. Anyway, She testified that she
15:28
stopped regularly booking these massage appointments for Epstein in two
15:32
thousand and eight, when he served about a year in
15:34
jail in Florida. But Democrats on the committee looked at
15:37
poll holes in that assertion by pointing to other appointments
15:41
after two thousand and eight that Grof booked for Epstein. Grof,
15:45
in defense of booking appointments for Epstein even after his
15:49
first incarceration, told lawmakers, I would not have known that
15:52
this was a massage. I don't know. You're assuming that
15:55
I would think it was a massage, but I did
15:57
not think of it as a massage. I don't believe that.
16:00
I'm sorry, I don't believe it, and I don't think
16:02
a jury would either, honestly, So she had no idea,
16:06
just a shrinking violet. Stop it. That is a bunch
16:11
of nonsense. Leslie Groff knew, maybe not all of the
16:15
granular details, but you would have to be very, very
16:19
stupid to not understand what was going on. And I
16:22
have a very hard time believing that narrative. I'm sorry,
16:25
but I don't believe it. You were around him so often,
16:29
with so many people for so long, you knew or
16:32
at the very least you have heard that some bad
16:34
shit was going on, and you stayed. You continued to
16:38
book massages, you continued to remain quiet, and you continued
16:42
to look the other way. And we all know why.
16:44
Financial benefit. That's why. So as far as Leslie Groff goes,
16:49
I don't buy a thing she has to say. And
16:51
Bill Gates, well, it was only a matter of time
16:54
before he was outed as the liar he is because
16:58
the facts were there. We have heard all these stories
17:00
for years, but now we have the confirmation with the emails,
17:04
and Bill Gates can no longer deny it. That is
17:06
the only reason he's admitting it. In a perfect world
17:13
for Bill Gates, he would have been able to continue
17:16
to deny this until the end of time. But now
17:19
that the files are there for everybody to see, now
17:22
he has to change up the strategy. Right. Oh well,
17:25
I knew, but I didn't know the full extent. And
17:27
that's going to be the defense from all these people.
17:30
That's what they're going to say. The question is are
17:35
you buying it? All the information that goes with this
17:39
episode can be found in the description box.
