Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey there, today's meditation is a walking meditation and a visualization.
- 0:07Speaker 1: So, wherever you are, if it feels right, I invite you to take a walk.
- 0:13Speaker 1: It doesn't need to be far or fast, just a simple walk.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Maybe it's around your neighborhood, around your desk, through a wooded trail, along the edge of a lake, or even pacing slowly back and forth on your porch.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Whatever it is, let this walk be a gift to yourself, a chance to step away from doing and drop into being.
- 0:49Speaker 1: There's nowhere you need to go.
- 0:52Speaker 1: There's nothing you need to solve.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Just begin.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Before you take your first step, or if you already have, I want you to pause for a moment.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Simply feel your feet on the ground, really feel them.
- 1:19Speaker 1: At first you might just feel a tingling in your feet themselves, but stay there until you can feel how they are connected to the surface that you're standing on.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Take a slow breath in through your nose and then gently out through your mouth, allowing your body to settle.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Let your breath arrive before you do Now, beginning to walk slowly and naturally.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Let your breath lead the way.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Inhale like drawing in the scent of pine trees after the rain and exhale like the breeze weaving through tall grasses and exhale like the breeze weaving through tall grasses.
- 2:29Speaker 1: With every breath you grow more present.
- 2:34Speaker 1: With each step you root deeper into the earth.
- 2:39Speaker 1: As you walk, begin to imagine.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Each inhale draws in light soft, golden and alive.
- 2:52Speaker 1: It fills your chest, expands through your ribs, radiates outwards like morning sun, warming the horizon.
- 3:04Speaker 1: And each exhale releases.
- 3:05Speaker 1: It releases what's no longer needed, what's ready to fall away, like gentle petals dropping from a flower in bloom.
- 3:17Speaker 1: You are not just walking, you are breathing with the earth, expanding with every step.
- 3:32Speaker 1: As you continue to walk, let your senses awaken, notice the shapes of the trees, the sound of your footsteps on the path, the rhythm of the birdsong, the space between the clouds.
- 3:47Speaker 1: You are part of this natural world, not separate from it, not an observer, a participant, a pulse in the larger body of life.
- 4:06Speaker 1: And even if you're walking only inside in your office or your home, see things as if for the first time, with wonder.
- 4:20Speaker 1: First time with wonder.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Let your senses awaken and notice the shapes and textures of things.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Notice how the light through the window dances and makes shadows on your floor.
- 4:43Speaker 1: As you continue to walk, let these words move with your breath.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Inhale, I receive and exhaling, I grow like roots drinking from the earth, like branches stretching from the earth, like branches stretching to the sky.
- 5:10Speaker 1: We receive, we grow.
- 5:24Speaker 1: When you feel complete, arrive at stillness, let your arms rest gently by your sides or place one hand on your heart, feel your breath move through you, a living rhythm, your inner music, always here.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Take one final generous breath in, hold it for just a moment and exhale with gratitude.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Let your next step forward be a continuation, not an ending.
- 6:22Speaker 1: You carry this breath, this spaciousness, this connection, and always Namaste, my friends.
