- 0:04Speaker 1: Welcome back to Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists.
- 0:07Speaker 1: This week on the show, you've seen your favorite celebrities
- 0:10Speaker 1: and you've seen their clothes, but where did they get them?
- 0:13Speaker 1: This week, we're talking to stylists.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Imagine going to your closet and seeing all your clothes
- 0:20Speaker 2: and thinking, wow, I have nothing to wear. Well, a
- 0:23Speaker 2: lot of celebrities might be doing the same thing too,
- 0:27Speaker 2: That's why they hire a personal stylist.
- 0:31Speaker 3: On today's episode, we gather some of the most important
- 0:35Speaker 3: and incredible Hollywood stylists and sit them all around a
- 0:38Speaker 3: table to discuss their process.
- 0:41Speaker 4: So buckle that belt, put on that vest, and let's
- 0:44Speaker 4: listen in. What a good time.
- 0:51Speaker 1: What's up, guys? What's up? What's up? What's up? Oh
- 0:53Speaker 1: my god, it's hey guys, freaking chill to hang with
- 0:57Speaker 1: my guys here? You know what I mean?
- 0:58Speaker 3: Like, I haven't seen some of you sense since I think,
- 1:01Speaker 3: what is it? I haven't seen strike this strike?
- 1:05Speaker 1: Were you guys? We were all that all that glossier
- 1:07Speaker 1: drop right? Were you guys there?
- 1:09Speaker 4: I was there.
- 1:10Speaker 5: I was actually traveling with the client.
- 1:12Speaker 1: I stopped by. I stopped by. I swear I saw
- 1:15Speaker 1: you though you weren't there.
- 1:17Speaker 5: No, No, I was. I was traveling with the client, Like,
- 1:20Speaker 5: you're sure.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Because we were where?
- 1:22Speaker 1: I saw you there?
- 1:24Speaker 6: No, No, it's not me.
- 1:26Speaker 1: I don't.
- 1:27Speaker 5: I don't go to those anymore.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Okay, I think you were there, But it's crazy everybody
- 1:32Speaker 1: else there? No, Are you sure? Because I think I
- 1:36Speaker 1: did see you there?
- 1:37Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:38Speaker 5: All right, all right, maybe maybe I stopped by trying
- 1:43Speaker 5: to stop by, right, I think you stop by for
- 1:44Speaker 5: a couple of hours. Sure, I was traveling with the client.
- 1:48Speaker 1: All right, all right, Well, people don't know what we do, right,
- 1:53Speaker 1: were kind of were like invisible to everybody, uh, in
- 1:57Speaker 1: the entire country except for the most famous people who
- 2:00Speaker 1: look at us.
- 2:01Speaker 3: It's crazy. It's like an invisible art. It's like who designs?
- 2:06Speaker 3: It's like I heard good design once the other day.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Is defined by invisibility where you look at an iPhone
- 2:12Speaker 3: and you can't just you can't see that it was designed.
- 2:15Speaker 3: It's just an iPhone.
- 2:17Speaker 4: That's crazy. I completely disagree.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Oh you do classic US, classic US.
- 2:22Speaker 2: And I to disagree as well, because I, okay, there's
- 2:28Speaker 2: something I'm disagreeing with. Is the the way that because
- 2:32Speaker 2: if we are doing our job correctly, nobody knows we're real.
- 2:37Speaker 2: That's exactly what I means, and so I'm disagreeing with
- 2:41Speaker 2: your point exactly.
- 2:42Speaker 3: That's exactly what I said, and I and.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I fully disagree.
- 2:47Speaker 5: I also, I also disagree with you because I feel
- 2:52Speaker 5: like my interpretation of our job is that I want
- 2:55Speaker 5: to be completely invisible and I want.
- 2:57Speaker 2: My exact and I'm disagreeing.
- 2:59Speaker 4: With that exactly.
- 3:01Speaker 5: And I totally disagree with you, guys. I disagree because
- 3:04Speaker 5: I feel like we I addressed my clients to be
- 3:07Speaker 5: completely invisible, like me. Hmm. If anyone disagrees, please good design.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Good design is you can't picture it any other way.
- 3:17Speaker 4: In my opinion, And I completely disagree, and I have
- 3:20Speaker 4: to go on the record completely.
- 3:23Speaker 2: And I think I think you're a genius. I think
- 3:25Speaker 2: everything you say is laced with intelligence and experience, and
- 3:29Speaker 2: so because of that reason, I disagree.
- 3:32Speaker 1: No good I do feel like I disagree, but I'm
- 3:35Speaker 1: having trouble remembering what the initial thing was.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Let's let's let's take it back, and let's explain who
- 3:42Speaker 3: we all are because we all know each other.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely absolutely.
- 3:47Speaker 3: And then we'll get back to disagreeing or agreeing.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I can't wait to see which one we settle on.
- 3:52Speaker 5: And I'm going to agree with that.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Yes, and I do with that.
- 3:56Speaker 5: I think we should definitely let the uh the listeners
- 4:01Speaker 5: know who we are. Yes, Yes, Well I'll go first.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Amazing great.
- 4:08Speaker 5: My name is Mary's, Mary's Maurice.
- 4:15Speaker 1: My name is Mary's.
- 4:18Speaker 5: Hem hyphen.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Galoshes.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Yeah, hyposhes. We've got Maurice hem hyphen galoshes in the house.
- 4:27Speaker 3: One of my favorite names I've ever heard in Hollywood.
- 4:31Speaker 1: It's when you see an outfit and you know it's
- 4:33Speaker 1: a hym hyphen golosh. You go, I knew it. I'm like, okay,
- 4:37Speaker 1: because I can spot it out anywhere Maurice, like I
- 4:41Speaker 1: can spot it out anywhere. It's a hym hyphen goosh.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Always.
- 4:45Speaker 5: I always leave the hem hyphen galosh trademark, which is
- 4:48Speaker 5: the robber shoe.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Yeah, you usually attach a rubber shoe to someone's coat
- 4:53Speaker 1: or pants.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Right, love, But it's just if whether it's a key
- 4:57Speaker 2: chain or whether it's literal, sometimes it's the shoe itself,
- 5:00Speaker 2: whether it's a hat or a hairpin, you always have
- 5:03Speaker 2: a signature. And I really respect.
- 5:05Speaker 6: That with it.
- 5:07Speaker 1: In fact, oh, you do disagree with it? I do
- 5:10Speaker 1: you do that?
- 5:10Speaker 6: Rock?
- 5:11Speaker 3: I feel like, Okay, Maurice, who are you working for
- 5:14Speaker 3: these It's Mary's, Mary's, I'm so sorry.
- 5:17Speaker 2: I'm so sorry.
- 5:17Speaker 4: I know this by beginning she said, just don't get
- 5:20Speaker 4: confused with Maurice. That's I said, Mary's.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I disagree, I said, Mary's, but maybe it's all the
- 5:27Speaker 3: brandy I have in my cup. Anyway, Mary's, who are
- 5:30Speaker 3: you working for these days?
- 5:31Speaker 4: I'm trying to know.
- 5:32Speaker 5: I'm doing something very different this season. I'm working with
- 5:36Speaker 5: a lot of teenagers who want to take it seriously.
- 5:41Speaker 1: And how do you?
- 5:42Speaker 4: And they are so many there's a do a dozand
- 5:45Speaker 4: of teenagers who want to be taken seriously.
- 5:47Speaker 2: They want to be taken seriously. And they don't want
- 5:49Speaker 2: to be wearing.
- 5:50Speaker 5: The big, big outfits anymore, and and the platform shoes.
- 5:55Speaker 5: We're going, we're staring away from that. We want to
- 5:58Speaker 5: do something more simple, like we said in the beginning
- 6:00Speaker 5: of the talk of we want to be in the
- 6:06Speaker 5: teens these days, they want to be unseen, Yeah, and
- 6:09Speaker 5: they want to be seen in a more mature light.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Mary's, it's so cool you're working with teens, because no,
- 6:16Speaker 1: I still have my older clients no, of course, of
- 6:19Speaker 1: course I'm agreeing with that notion. But but I think
- 6:22Speaker 1: it's really cool because when I was a teen I
- 6:24Speaker 1: remember looking around and seeing everyone in platform shoes and
- 6:27Speaker 1: thinking this isn't me, you know, like yeah, and I
- 6:30Speaker 1: didn't have the courage to go to a stylist and
- 6:33Speaker 1: pay five thousand dollars an hour and figure out, you know,
- 6:36Speaker 1: get someone to help me change my style. I just
- 6:38Speaker 1: stuck myself in platform shoes.
- 6:40Speaker 3: And yeah, I mean when you see when you see
- 6:42Speaker 3: a group of teenagers playing kickball and platform shoes, you
- 6:45Speaker 3: know a stylust isn't there?
- 6:47Speaker 5: No, not at all, definitely not Maurice, you know that.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll go next. My name is Stone Rose Quartz,
- 6:59Speaker 4: and I believe in three things big, bold, and mean.
- 7:03Speaker 4: I'm big, I'm bold. I mean, my clothes are big,
- 7:06Speaker 4: bold and mean. So if you want to work with me,
- 7:09Speaker 4: you better bring a big, bold and mean energy. I'm sorry,
- 7:12Speaker 4: I'm sorry, and I'd like.
- 7:13Speaker 2: To commend you because there are many looks that I've
- 7:16Speaker 2: seen go down the runway by you that personally hurt
- 7:20Speaker 2: my feelings. Where I go home and I think, ouch.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Ouch, that's out.
- 7:26Speaker 2: That sucked to hear, but I needed to hear it.
- 7:28Speaker 4: I'm gonna talk to you mean, and I'm gonna present
- 7:31Speaker 4: to you mean. The clothes I choose are gonna be mean,
- 7:33Speaker 4: and you're gonna feel it. If people I want them
- 7:36Speaker 4: to say ouch, I want them to say ooh, that burnt.
- 7:38Speaker 4: I want them to know, hey, don't do that. That's mean.
- 7:41Speaker 4: And I go exactly, Darling, exactly, baby, Welcome to the
- 7:45Speaker 4: thunderdom Stone.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I wanted to commend you. A lot of people don't
- 7:48Speaker 1: know this because you're so silent in your work. You
- 7:51Speaker 1: usually don't take credit. But you are responsible for the
- 7:53Speaker 1: first half of Anne Hathaway's career.
- 7:55Speaker 4: Yes, and I thank you.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Well.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Talk about it enough.
- 7:59Speaker 1: She isn't with you anymore. Now people are perceiving her
- 8:01Speaker 1: as nice and mother and they like her.
- 8:04Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Were her main styles for when everyone hated her for
- 8:07Speaker 1: no reason.
- 8:08Speaker 4: I mean exactly. She came to me after Princess Darius
- 8:11Speaker 4: and said, I need a new look. Everybody thinks I'm
- 8:13Speaker 4: this nerdy little girl. And I said, honey, we're gonna
- 8:15Speaker 4: do big, We're gonna do buld, We're gonna be mean.
- 8:17Speaker 4: I started putting her in feathers and I started putting
- 8:19Speaker 4: her in blood, and I started putting her in and suits,
- 8:23Speaker 4: suits with writing in silver in that suits on a
- 8:25Speaker 4: woman is mean.
- 8:27Speaker 2: It's so mean.
- 8:28Speaker 3: And maybe that's my age. Maybe that's my age showing.
- 8:31Speaker 3: But a woman should be nice and she should be
- 8:34Speaker 3: in a skirt exactly pants. It's mean.
- 8:38Speaker 4: Well we got we gotta talk all about how the
- 8:39Speaker 4: times have changed, because when I started with Anne Hathaway,
- 8:42Speaker 4: the meanest thing a woman could do was wear a suit.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:46Speaker 3: I don't want to get political, but we can. That's
- 8:47Speaker 3: why Hillary lost to me.
- 8:50Speaker 4: That's why Hillary lost. She was in a suit too
- 8:51Speaker 4: long and made her too mean.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Yeah, oh, I'm showing my age.
- 8:56Speaker 2: It's my turn.
- 8:57Speaker 4: I'm showing my age. Another thing I love to do,
- 9:00Speaker 4: throw some bedazzled words on there, and like I'll throw
- 9:04Speaker 4: a word completely bedazzled and want to say bitch force
- 9:08Speaker 4: or or it'll say welcome to ass and people go,
- 9:13Speaker 4: what the heck is happening? I feel attacked. So that's
- 9:17Speaker 4: kind of I work with a lot of celebrities that
- 9:19Speaker 4: are looking to become mean. You know, I just got
- 9:22Speaker 4: the kid. I just signed the kid from Young Sheldon
- 9:28Speaker 4: completely rebrand. He said he was either gonna go with
- 9:31Speaker 4: Maurice Mary's Mary's Invisible. But I said, young Sheldon, you
- 9:37Speaker 4: got to be mean. You've gotta be mean because people
- 9:39Speaker 4: want to bully you right now, so you bully them first.
- 9:42Speaker 5: I give it one season and he'll be running back
- 9:45Speaker 5: to Mary's.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Okay, Okay, I would I would actually love to see.
- 9:51Speaker 5: That what you did Ann's career, you know.
- 9:56Speaker 4: And look at her. She was Catwoman, she was that
- 9:59Speaker 4: movie where she became a monster. I think she was
- 10:02Speaker 4: controlling the body of a monster.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Yeah, what's up, guys. My name is Chuck Chester and
- 10:10Speaker 1: I run No Homo Stylists and I work with currently
- 10:16Speaker 1: I'm full time, one hundred percent on Jacob Elordi. But
- 10:19Speaker 1: I work with all the hottest straight actors when they
- 10:23Speaker 1: want to work with someone that they know isn't going
- 10:25Speaker 1: to hit on them. So I'd say it's a crazy
- 10:32Speaker 1: industry out here, man. I work with a lot of
- 10:34Speaker 1: straight guys, just really solid straight guys who want to
- 10:37Speaker 1: look hot and they want to look fuckable, but they
- 10:39Speaker 1: don't want to talk to people who would also want
- 10:41Speaker 1: to fuck them, you know, women, queer men, all stuff
- 10:44Speaker 1: like that, and so I'm I come in. We hang out,
- 10:47Speaker 1: We drink beers, We play basketball a little bit. We
- 10:49Speaker 1: talked some a little bit about uh uh, I don't
- 10:53Speaker 1: know Rondo other basketball players, and then and then we
- 10:58Speaker 1: got style. What wow? What I'm I'm I'm literally straight
- 11:04Speaker 1: as an arrow and there's no problem with me. Like
- 11:06Speaker 1: I'm I'm getting in there, I'm getting close and I'm
- 11:08Speaker 1: I'm I'm measuring these guys and measuring lordies. You know,
- 11:12Speaker 1: from pex to pit, I'm measuring everything. Jealous, what's your
- 11:17Speaker 1: favorite place to measure? For me? It's PEX to pit.
- 11:20Speaker 1: I think it's really fun.
- 11:22Speaker 5: My definitely ear to ear.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Oh you look, you're to ear.
- 11:28Speaker 3: You could see a whole person's life in their neck.
- 11:30Speaker 3: What about you?
- 11:31Speaker 2: Stone?
- 11:33Speaker 4: I liked from going head to toe. I'm sorry, I'm mean, Oh,
- 11:38Speaker 4: you know, a full body.
- 11:39Speaker 2: That's mean you must be this tall to be a bitch.
- 11:44Speaker 4: Five seven? A little short these days, aren't we pop?
- 11:48Speaker 1: That's funny. That's funny stuff. So it's fun to be
- 11:51Speaker 1: with you guys. It's really fun. I don't usually hang
- 11:53Speaker 1: out with you kinds of people.
- 11:55Speaker 4: What do you mean by that?
- 11:57Speaker 2: What do you mean you kinds of people? What do
- 11:59Speaker 2: you mean by that?
- 12:01Speaker 1: Nothing? Man? It's really fun. You know. I make stylish,
- 12:04Speaker 1: nice clothes for dudes who are sexy as fuck, you know,
- 12:07Speaker 1: but they're straight. That's what I'm up to.
- 12:10Speaker 4: And well, that's an interesting question. Are you trying to
- 12:12Speaker 4: dress them in a way that presents Are they also
- 12:15Speaker 4: worried that they're not presenting straight when they're dressed or
- 12:18Speaker 4: do they? You know?
- 12:19Speaker 1: Well, here's the thing. It's a weird prism right now,
- 12:21Speaker 1: right you can you can present straight and it looks gay.
- 12:24Speaker 1: You can present gay and it looks straight. You different.
- 12:26Speaker 1: It's a topsy turbio there. We're all looking through looking
- 12:28Speaker 1: glasses left and right. So, but for Jacob, you know,
- 12:31Speaker 1: because he's my main guy right now, he's my boy,
- 12:33Speaker 1: he's my bro, he's my number one, he's my top
- 12:35Speaker 1: you know, he's my pinned text thread. You know, he's
- 12:39Speaker 1: pinned in my phone. Do you guys understand Jacob Elodie
- 12:41Speaker 1: is pinned at the top of my phone.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Good stylist right there, I completely disagree with that.
- 12:46Speaker 1: You disagree that he is. He's pinned in my phone.
- 12:49Speaker 1: That's nothing.
- 12:50Speaker 4: I disagree with the notion of pinning.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but you we are stylist you're not pinning anything.
- 12:57Speaker 4: Take that up with a genius bar, you idiot.
- 13:00Speaker 1: But also, like we use pins, we make clothes.
- 13:02Speaker 4: Thank you for that.
- 13:03Speaker 2: If you're pinning, you need an assistant, that is right.
- 13:06Speaker 3: No, yeah, I haven't touched a pin since the eighties.
- 13:09Speaker 3: I am Miranda Magenta Klein. I am Miranda Magenta Cline.
- 13:14Speaker 3: So happy to be here. I've been working in style
- 13:17Speaker 3: and since the late seventies, worked with a lot of people,
- 13:21Speaker 3: and then in the nineties I did a lot of
- 13:23Speaker 3: good work. That was the height of my career. Worked
- 13:25Speaker 3: for you know, Gwyneth Paltrollroll Paltroll, that was before. That
- 13:32Speaker 3: was before she was in pants, Emma Watson, Uh, you know,
- 13:36Speaker 3: Diane Washton.
- 13:37Speaker 5: She's only like twenty four.
- 13:39Speaker 2: I've done a lot, but.
- 13:41Speaker 3: I have since retired and I have now I did
- 13:45Speaker 3: a lot of red carpet, only did red carpet for
- 13:48Speaker 3: a long time and now and now I am just
- 13:50Speaker 3: working only it's not really a job because she's my
- 13:53Speaker 3: best friend, but I am. I know Gardner's stylist on
- 13:56Speaker 3: Barefoot Contessa, so I go in there, I help her
- 14:00Speaker 3: get a dressed up. But besides that, I just don't
- 14:04Speaker 3: really do the red carpet stuff. These days, I cannot
- 14:06Speaker 3: do it anymore. It's hard stuff. It's getting more hard
- 14:09Speaker 3: and hard. I don't know how you guys do the
- 14:11Speaker 3: award season. I don't know how you do it.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Well.
- 14:12Speaker 4: It's especially for you because you are the queen of layers.
- 14:16Speaker 4: I mean back then it was layer on layer on
- 14:19Speaker 4: layer on layer on layer. How many layers can we
- 14:21Speaker 4: fit on a person?
- 14:22Speaker 6: You know?
- 14:22Speaker 3: I guess when people wore jackets on top of gowns
- 14:25Speaker 3: to the Oscars.
- 14:26Speaker 5: Well, you know, global warming.
- 14:28Speaker 4: And all of that global how much it's affected our
- 14:31Speaker 4: industry wearing warm clothes.
- 14:34Speaker 3: It really has.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Global warming really has changed the way people dress, and
- 14:38Speaker 1: totally people don't talk about that. It's probably the worst
- 14:40Speaker 1: thing that's happened when it comes to global warming exactly.
- 14:44Speaker 1: I disagree, Yeah, you disagree. I disagree so wholeheartedly with that.
- 14:49Speaker 1: It's crazy. I you know, I did want to bring
- 14:52Speaker 1: up Miranda. I I really really love what you're doing
- 14:55Speaker 1: with Aina. I think it's fantastic you. These shirts you're
- 14:59Speaker 1: finding are so free flowing and multifunctional. Right, Like, not
- 15:03Speaker 1: only are they hugely baggy in the sleeves, but also
- 15:07Speaker 1: they must be made of something that doesn't catch on
- 15:10Speaker 1: fire or absorb oils or juices.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Because this is why, yeah, this is why I work
- 15:17Speaker 3: only for her. I mean, she loves my work. The
- 15:19Speaker 3: way we have to hunt down these blouses is a
- 15:22Speaker 3: feat and.
- 15:24Speaker 2: You hunt them with a gun, right.
- 15:25Speaker 3: I hunt them. I hunt them with a rifle. I'll
- 15:29Speaker 3: be in the ant Taylor loft and I'll be escorted out.
- 15:31Speaker 3: So that is I I it is. It is tough
- 15:36Speaker 3: work what I do, but once I found the groove,
- 15:39Speaker 3: I can't work for anyone else. Those blouses move, they breathe,
- 15:43Speaker 3: and they are human things to me because that blouse
- 15:47Speaker 3: must sit in a way that looks so like it fits,
- 15:52Speaker 3: but it's also.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Loose right right, And you're using as a very loose
- 15:58Speaker 4: term as yes.
- 15:59Speaker 3: No, I found the intersection between a well fitted blouse
- 16:03Speaker 3: and a waterfall blouse is what I like to call them,
- 16:06Speaker 3: where it's just overflowing right and your your.
- 16:09Speaker 5: Your look, and those blouses give off an impression that
- 16:12Speaker 5: she's actually wearing pants, but I don't think she is.
- 16:15Speaker 1: No.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Sometimes if she's working in if she's making a roast,
- 16:18Speaker 3: for example, and the and the oven's been on, she's
- 16:21Speaker 3: in booty shorts, guys, and you're so hot.
- 16:23Speaker 4: It's so hot by her legs.
- 16:25Speaker 3: It's so hot by her legs because she's got those
- 16:26Speaker 3: ovens below her legs. So I put her in these
- 16:29Speaker 3: little booty shorts.
- 16:31Speaker 1: That we.
- 16:34Speaker 3: That we call the sandals, and I say, is is barefoot?
- 16:36Speaker 3: Is barefoot in her sandals?
- 16:39Speaker 2: Is she barefoot?
- 16:41Speaker 3: Oh No, that's just that's just you know what. I
- 16:43Speaker 3: actually have no idea why she's called the Barefoot Contessa. Anyway,
- 16:48Speaker 3: somebody else go, I'm done.
- 16:50Speaker 5: I just I just want to say I am just
- 16:52Speaker 5: so impressed and inspired by you, Miranda.
- 16:57Speaker 4: Thank you so much.
- 16:58Speaker 3: I mean I stopped. I literally couldn't keep going. I
- 17:01Speaker 3: think it was who wasn't Hillary Swank. She asked for
- 17:04Speaker 3: me to go with her. You guys, are you guys
- 17:06Speaker 3: going to the red carpets? Because I was like, I
- 17:09Speaker 3: don't go, honey. In the nineties, we didn't go.
- 17:12Speaker 5: Well, you know, for me, I'm only doing upfronts right now.
- 17:15Speaker 5: I haven't gotten to red carpet yet, so I'm still
- 17:18Speaker 5: working my way up there.
- 17:19Speaker 4: You'll get there. You'll get there.
- 17:22Speaker 2: You'll get there, honey, you'll get there. Now I'm burning
- 17:25Speaker 2: out my breeches to speak. I am Emily Fashion Saint Clair.
- 17:32Speaker 2: I was formerly as I'm sure you know, I worked
- 17:35Speaker 2: for Alexander McQueen. I worked for Gucci, I worked for Chanel,
- 17:40Speaker 2: I worked for all the major fashion houses. And after
- 17:43Speaker 2: the incident a couple of years ago, I have entered
- 17:46Speaker 2: a new phase in my career. I am now styling
- 17:49Speaker 2: the one and only mister Beast. So we are going
- 17:53Speaker 2: through his closet. We're doing a total revamp, and we
- 17:56Speaker 2: are doing hoodie after hoodie after hoodie, and I have
- 17:59Speaker 2: to source those from a variety of different places around
- 18:03Speaker 2: the world. So we and it's been an adjustment, but
- 18:06Speaker 2: I am very excited to be doing what I do.
- 18:09Speaker 2: And I do believe people don't know that he is
- 18:11Speaker 2: a fashion icon, and I in the circles that I'm
- 18:14Speaker 2: running in in the high fashion community, mister Beast is
- 18:17Speaker 2: considered a new face in fashion and what.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Is who is he?
- 18:23Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 18:23Speaker 1: Who is this guy?
- 18:25Speaker 2: Well, I'm sure you're all joking right now. I'm sure
- 18:28Speaker 2: you're all making a joke because, of course mister Beast
- 18:32Speaker 2: is at the forefront of fashion, and of course he
- 18:34Speaker 2: is making YouTube videos. But it's as a statement to
- 18:38Speaker 2: further the clothes.
- 18:39Speaker 1: So he's a fashion YouTuber. Sorry, the only thing I
- 18:41Speaker 1: watched anything.
- 18:42Speaker 2: So so a little bit, a little bit right. He
- 18:47Speaker 2: is wearing clothes when he's making the videos, and he
- 18:51Speaker 2: does do these sorts of stunt videos where he gives
- 18:54Speaker 2: people a thousand dollars, sends them into a maze, and
- 18:57Speaker 2: then whoever makes it out of the maze gets a
- 18:59Speaker 2: mealllion dollars, allowing blind kids to see sort of a
- 19:04Speaker 2: big stunts like that.
- 19:05Speaker 1: He does both of those things.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Yes, so he does both of those things. That actually
- 19:11Speaker 2: a lot more. He has a video where his friend
- 19:15Speaker 2: has to eat a lot of chicken nuggets based on
- 19:17Speaker 2: whether or not. But that's besides me.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Wait, so what's his thing? Man?
- 19:22Speaker 2: So his thing is being a fashion icon. His thing
- 19:26Speaker 2: is consisting in the hoodies as he does these videos
- 19:30Speaker 2: which are sort of fashion shows to showcase the clothing.
- 19:35Speaker 4: I got to give it up to you, fashion. I
- 19:37Speaker 4: think it's so beautiful what you do, because it must
- 19:41Speaker 4: be so hard working with somebody who looks uncomfortable in
- 19:43Speaker 4: every single thing he wears.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Yes, and I have.
- 19:46Speaker 5: To disagree with Rock on that one stone.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Thank you, No, I go Rock, But with my friends.
- 19:53Speaker 4: So you can call off.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Well, I appreciate that, and I appreciate that, and I disagree.
- 19:59Speaker 2: He does look uncomfortable as a statement on why clothes
- 20:05Speaker 2: should be looking not that way. He looks uncomfortable, So
- 20:10Speaker 2: you don't have to you're the common man. You're the
- 20:13Speaker 2: common man. You're the one who wears the clothes. You're
- 20:16Speaker 2: the one who buys the clothes. He is uncomfortable. He
- 20:19Speaker 2: takes that uncomfort on from you like Jesus Christ. And
- 20:25Speaker 2: if you're saying a personal thing.
- 20:28Speaker 5: But so does he have a lot of fur.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Mister beast has a lot of fur in in his closet.
- 20:36Speaker 2: I'm sure you you may have seen that.
- 20:38Speaker 5: Vote He's not actually a beast.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Uh No, he is a He is a One could
- 20:45Speaker 2: call him a beast, One could call him a beast
- 20:47Speaker 2: of fashion, one could call him an icon, and I do.
- 20:52Speaker 2: But no, he himself is a human man rich So
- 20:55Speaker 2: his name is mister beast? Have you guys, You guys
- 20:58Speaker 2: really haven't never.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Heard of him. I know exactly who you are.
- 21:03Speaker 2: I only know Tom Cruise, and yeah only know Tom Cruise.
- 21:07Speaker 2: I only know Tom Cruise.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I only know Dave Portning Andvon that's all I know.
- 21:12Speaker 3: I only know Martha Stewart and.
- 21:14Speaker 1: I know well. My question is, so it is Beast,
- 21:17Speaker 1: So is he like does he have a body that
- 21:20Speaker 1: really shows off those clothes? Like what's the deal? Like?
- 21:23Speaker 1: Is it like he's like whoa, he's like buff in
- 21:24Speaker 1: a hoodie? Because I put some people, I put Barry
- 21:26Speaker 1: Kyogan in a hoodie in and let's just say, Chuck.
- 21:29Speaker 4: I gotta say, it's shocking. You don't know, mister Beast.
- 21:33Speaker 4: Is it absolutely shocking?
- 21:35Speaker 2: It's actually it's rather surprising.
- 21:38Speaker 3: The work I've seen you do, Chuck with a hoodie
- 21:40Speaker 3: is incredible.
- 21:41Speaker 1: I've seen.
- 21:42Speaker 5: I have to agree with them. I'm surprised that Chuck
- 21:44Speaker 5: has no idea who mister Beast is.
- 21:46Speaker 1: This is the only thing you guys are agreeing on
- 21:47Speaker 1: is that I should know.
- 21:48Speaker 3: I completely agree you should agreement, and I am.
- 21:53Speaker 2: An agreement here, I do think. And to answer your question, no,
- 21:57Speaker 2: his body is like the kind of body you have
- 22:01Speaker 2: when you're someone who wears a hoodie in that way.
- 22:08Speaker 4: Mean mean body shame.
- 22:12Speaker 2: What's to shame is the person who who does the
- 22:18Speaker 2: things that.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Are heap, oh, oh wow, oh fashion.
- 22:27Speaker 2: I can't keep doing this I can't keep working here.
- 22:31Speaker 3: I was gonna, I was gonna ask you fashion, I
- 22:34Speaker 3: can't keep I.
- 22:36Speaker 2: I well the well you all, and I keep trying
- 22:45Speaker 2: to lie to myself, but no, and the reality is
- 22:49Speaker 2: I was kicked out of the high fashion world because
- 22:51Speaker 2: I did a poo poo at the Gucci show and
- 22:54Speaker 2: I tried to hide it. I tried to run away,
- 22:57Speaker 2: and I entered what I thought was an emergency exit,
- 22:59Speaker 2: but it was just the door to the Valentino show.
- 23:02Speaker 2: And so I did a poop poo in the Valentino show.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Blinded by my humiliation, ran into the into the Ralph Lauren,
- 23:10Speaker 2: into the into the Chanel, into the Chloe, and it
- 23:15Speaker 2: was back and forth like a pinball machine. So may
- 23:17Speaker 2: in effect I do do it in all of them,
- 23:20Speaker 2: making me an outcast in the fashion community and relegated
- 23:24Speaker 2: to the depths of YouTube. It is horrific fashion.
- 23:29Speaker 3: I'm glad you said something, because I think all of
- 23:31Speaker 3: us were sitting here thinking while you were talking. I
- 23:33Speaker 3: couldn't not think about your poop poop.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Yeah, we all know, we have all. I'm sorry.
- 23:38Speaker 3: I'm sorry that happened to you. I'm so I haven't
- 23:41Speaker 3: seen many stylists go down like that in such a
- 23:43Speaker 3: public way, and.
- 23:45Speaker 2: I thank you for all sort of pretending for me.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Thank you for doing that. Not a lot of people do,
- 23:52Speaker 2: a lot of people call me on it right away, and.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Well, in my circle, fashion, you're a freaking legend. I
- 23:58Speaker 1: would say, what didn't help is you after it happened,
- 24:02Speaker 1: you changed your first name to Fashion to try to
- 24:07Speaker 1: compensate it. I think Emily, honestly, we all loved you
- 24:10Speaker 1: as Emily, and then when you started saying I'm actually Fashion,
- 24:13Speaker 1: as if to say you can't get rid of me.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Fashion is my name and to be and to And.
- 24:19Speaker 2: In my defense, I thought it would work. I really
- 24:22Speaker 2: thought it would work. I really thought, well, okay, it'll
- 24:24Speaker 2: be less paperwork if I go Fashion Emily Saint Clair
- 24:27Speaker 2: instead of Emily Fashion Saint Claire. I really thought if
- 24:30Speaker 2: I just sort of rearranged it, nobody would know, and
- 24:36Speaker 2: my payroll pretended. I it's look and I will you
- 24:42Speaker 2: will you will you? Will you level with me for
- 24:43Speaker 2: a minute? Will you just will you?
- 24:45Speaker 4: Will you?
- 24:45Speaker 2: Will you extend some pity my way? Because have any
- 24:48Speaker 2: of you ever had a fashion mishap in your job?
- 24:52Speaker 2: It can't be just me right. If any of you
- 24:54Speaker 2: had a sort of whoopsie do with your celebrity clients,
- 24:58Speaker 2: or an outfit that went wrong, a traumatic memory, maybe.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Well, if I'm gonna say, if you haven't a whoopsie do,
- 25:05Speaker 4: are you even a stylist? Are you even a stylist
- 25:07Speaker 4: without a whoopsie do? It's like a purple heart, like
- 25:10Speaker 4: a purple heart.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Absolutely, Oh, I had a whoopsie do. That I think
- 25:14Speaker 3: was the reason why I went I think I am
- 25:16Speaker 3: too old for this. I think it was the time
- 25:19Speaker 3: where everyone was bringing on little purses. Lizzo had that
- 25:22Speaker 3: little tiny purse. Everyone has these tiny purses, and I
- 25:25Speaker 3: just thought, I don't know, let me flip that trend
- 25:28Speaker 3: on its head, And I gave Blake Lively a purse
- 25:31Speaker 3: that was the size of a bus. And it was
- 25:35Speaker 3: so big.
- 25:37Speaker 4: I remember that she was struggling to carry it around it.
- 25:41Speaker 3: And it it almost ran over to photographers and pressed.
- 25:46Speaker 3: Because the purse was so so big, she.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Carried it a lot farther than I thought she would.
- 25:53Speaker 3: It had wheels, it had an engine, It had two
- 25:55Speaker 3: people inside it pushing it.
- 25:56Speaker 1: For Oh, she was a bus.
- 25:58Speaker 3: It was a bus. It was a bus.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Us, and it was as it was a bus, just
- 26:05Speaker 1: with like her lipstick in it.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Yes, it was the size of a bus because it
- 26:09Speaker 2: was a bus, but it still was I.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Said it was the size of a bus. I mean
- 26:13Speaker 3: it was a bus because it was the size of
- 26:15Speaker 3: a bus, and it had it had her phone, and
- 26:18Speaker 3: it had her lip gloss, and it had a tampon
- 26:21Speaker 3: in it. But it also had three employees inside of it.
- 26:24Speaker 3: And they were pushing that thing and driving that thing
- 26:26Speaker 3: down the carpet, and the poor thing just was trying
- 26:29Speaker 3: to go to see. I don't know what it was.
- 26:30Speaker 3: I think it was Mad Max too, And I said,
- 26:33Speaker 3: bring this on the carpet, and they said, don't do this.
- 26:35Speaker 3: And I said, this is what the kids are doing.
- 26:37Speaker 3: I'm going to be difficult. I'm going to be mean.
- 26:39Speaker 3: I took a page out of Stone's book and I said.
- 26:41Speaker 4: So Blake Lively went to Mad Max two with a bus.
- 26:44Speaker 4: I love this.
- 26:45Speaker 3: It's it's look it up, okay.
- 26:47Speaker 4: And she did.
- 26:49Speaker 2: With everything we've said here today, google it just so
- 26:54Speaker 2: google it. I'm sure it'll come up.
- 26:55Speaker 3: But that was my big that was my big loopsy.
- 26:59Speaker 4: So I had a huge whoopsie poopsie. It was actually
- 27:03Speaker 4: devastating and put me in the dark for a couple
- 27:05Speaker 4: of years. Height of Kesha being mean and bad, people
- 27:09Speaker 4: were like, this girl is mean and bad. So I thought,
- 27:12Speaker 4: let's even lean into it more. I gave her a
- 27:14Speaker 4: broom to give her a little bit of like that,
- 27:16Speaker 4: Oh I'm a witch vibe. This chargolodyte starts using it
- 27:21Speaker 4: to sweep, and people go, oh, how nice, how nice
- 27:24Speaker 4: Kesha's cleaning up after herself. I almost had a conniption.
- 27:29Speaker 4: I basically had a heart attack combined with a stroke,
- 27:33Speaker 4: combined with a blood clot in my brain. I was pissed. Immediately,
- 27:38Speaker 4: people the press starts going, nice, Kesha sweeps up after herself.
- 27:42Speaker 4: She must be tidy and clean and small, not bold
- 27:46Speaker 4: and big and mean. So that's basically one of my
- 27:51Speaker 4: biggest whoopsies.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Stone, that's a whoopsie.
- 27:54Speaker 5: No Rock, I commend.
- 27:57Speaker 1: You as Stone.
- 27:58Speaker 4: It's stone, but he can move past it. Maurice. You
- 28:02Speaker 4: know I say your name correct every single time.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Maurice. I gotta no, I gotta know your biggest whoopsie.
- 28:08Speaker 1: I mean, when thinking of a couple you've had, you're
- 28:10Speaker 1: just so proud of your mistakes. Which is what I am.
- 28:13Speaker 5: I mean, before I went to the minimalistic invisible route,
- 28:18Speaker 5: I was dressing Jacob Tremblay.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Yeah, and I thought.
- 28:24Speaker 5: You know, he just finished the movie The Room, we
- 28:27Speaker 5: should go bold. He hit in a little carpet in
- 28:31Speaker 5: that movie, and I thought he would look amazing and
- 28:35Speaker 5: a carpet. When he went and did the carpet, I
- 28:39Speaker 5: rolled him in an actual carpet on the carpet, so
- 28:43Speaker 5: we just looked like a cylinder walking.
- 28:46Speaker 2: I remember this Vogue called it the Tremblay Canoli exactly.
- 28:52Speaker 5: And go ahead, fashion.
- 28:56Speaker 2: No, I just want to say it was one of
- 28:59Speaker 2: the the most defining pictures on my Pinterest board that year.
- 29:04Speaker 2: It really. I just wanted to commend you on that.
- 29:07Speaker 2: I would just wanted to give you props.
- 29:09Speaker 4: And I was talking about making a kid invisible. You know,
- 29:12Speaker 4: you literally made him invisible to the naked eye. Nobody
- 29:14Speaker 4: knew who it was, nobody.
- 29:16Speaker 5: Right, and so I thought, you know, art imitating art.
- 29:21Speaker 5: He was rolled up in a Turkish rug on the
- 29:25Speaker 5: red carpet and I did not know this, but the
- 29:29Speaker 5: rug was flammable and there were candles everywhere. So the
- 29:35Speaker 5: carpet and the ruck went up in flames, caught on fire.
- 29:40Speaker 5: But luckily Jacob was protected in the canoli and he didn't.
- 29:47Speaker 5: He didn't.
- 29:48Speaker 2: And that is the mark of a good stylist. That's
- 29:50Speaker 2: the mark of a good stylist. The first thing they
- 29:51Speaker 2: teach you in fashion school is number one, look out
- 29:54Speaker 2: for fire. Right, we have to talk about flammability. Yes,
- 29:59Speaker 2: they We don't let you leave at fittum if you
- 30:03Speaker 2: can't pass your flammability one on one test.
- 30:06Speaker 5: Well, and here's the thing that people probably don't know
- 30:08Speaker 5: is that at Red Carpets we have buckets of flower now,
- 30:12Speaker 5: so we dump it on people with they catch on fire. Yeah,
- 30:17Speaker 5: and that was after the Jacob Tremblay incident. And we
- 30:19Speaker 5: call it Jacob's law.
- 30:20Speaker 4: Now, Jacob's law law. If you're not following Jacob's law,
- 30:24Speaker 4: what are you even doing.
- 30:25Speaker 1: I'm really glad that that Congress pushed that one through,
- 30:28Speaker 1: you know, I'm really glad that Congress sat down. It
- 30:31Speaker 1: was one of the first bipartisan efforts in the last
- 30:33Speaker 1: fifteen years to make sure that we can have flower
- 30:36Speaker 1: at red carpets. I'm glad we really got that across.
- 30:39Speaker 3: I have never seen I hadn't seen Congress step into
- 30:43Speaker 3: the fashion world. Ever in my entire career.
- 30:45Speaker 5: Well because of me, I pushed it forward, had in
- 30:49Speaker 5: my career on pause to push the bipartisan bill.
- 30:54Speaker 4: Well, that's I will say, Ham hyphen Galoshes. That's only
- 30:57Speaker 4: because your dad's a senator. That's only because as your
- 31:00Speaker 4: dad's a senator.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Okay, we're here. A senator hem hyphen Galoshes has made
- 31:05Speaker 2: some terrible decisions on infrastructure, and I don't know how
- 31:08Speaker 2: he sleeps at night. I don't know how he sleeps
- 31:10Speaker 2: at night. Allocating that money towards the bridges using the
- 31:13Speaker 2: property taxes, Really, why would you not be taking it
- 31:17Speaker 2: from the schools? Why would you not be siphoning it
- 31:19Speaker 2: that way? That should be coming out of the twenty
- 31:21Speaker 2: nineteen budget. That's why we passed the law in the
- 31:24Speaker 2: first place.
- 31:25Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
- 31:26Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 31:27Speaker 4: Legally, yes, and I want to I completely disagree with
- 31:30Speaker 4: everything you just said. I completely disagree and.
- 31:33Speaker 5: I completely disagree with hem hyphen Galoshes as well. Listen,
- 31:37Speaker 5: I'm his daughter, Wow, but I do also believe in drilling.
- 31:43Speaker 4: Okay, of course, just to know you're his daughter, But
- 31:46Speaker 4: you believe in drilling, you know what?
- 31:48Speaker 3: That's the SoundBite. They got their SoundBite for the episode.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Let me tell you, we're going to talk about the
- 31:53Speaker 3: trade and we're going to talk about all this stuff
- 31:55Speaker 3: with stylists. But then they're going to take that because
- 31:57Speaker 3: they just want us for meat. Sometimes.
- 32:00Speaker 1: What I don't like that Himipen Galoshes is doing out
- 32:02Speaker 1: in Delaware is that he's adding potholes. And I've read this.
- 32:06Speaker 1: He's adding potholes to the highways himself.
- 32:09Speaker 5: And well have you thought of this chuck hiding? Some
- 32:13Speaker 5: of us want to hide in a pothole. My dad
- 32:16Speaker 5: is actually doing the Lord's work.
- 32:19Speaker 6: Okay.
- 32:19Speaker 4: Oh, she's a Christian. I knew it would come out
- 32:22Speaker 4: hem hyphen Galosh's church? Am I right?
- 32:26Speaker 6: What?
- 32:27Speaker 5: I love church?
- 32:28Speaker 3: Oh, guys, bring it back to the clothes man, We
- 32:33Speaker 3: bring it back to the.
- 32:34Speaker 5: Clones fashion brought up my father and I believe in
- 32:38Speaker 5: drilling and I believe in potholes.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Okay, I will say the hem hyphen Galoshes pothole of
- 32:45Speaker 2: field on that on that I forty out in Delaware.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Uh.
- 32:49Speaker 2: I don't agree with it politically, but it's fun to
- 32:51Speaker 2: play whack a mole in it.
- 32:53Speaker 5: It was inspired by a closet cool really.
- 32:57Speaker 4: Yes, what part of the closet?
- 33:01Speaker 2: Well, you know, sometimes.
- 33:02Speaker 5: You're out and about and you need to change your clothes.
- 33:05Speaker 5: So my dad thought, okay, closets are always outside. What
- 33:10Speaker 5: if we dug underneath. What if the closet was under
- 33:15Speaker 5: the ground, and so it'll make it accessible for people
- 33:18Speaker 5: to change in and out of clothes.
- 33:21Speaker 2: So, but there are no clothes down there.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Right, hold on, hold on, I lost focus for a second.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Are we talk about how a pothole on the highway
- 33:29Speaker 1: is inspired by a closet?
- 33:30Speaker 4: Absolutely?
- 33:31Speaker 1: Is that where were discussed.
- 33:32Speaker 4: Look, if you don't know what we're talking about, you
- 33:35Speaker 4: obviously aren't paying attention it.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Sound bite. There you go, There you go.
- 33:41Speaker 1: I gotta take about my biggest soopsy.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Oh please chuck.
- 33:44Speaker 1: It was about twenty eighteen. I accidentally made Nick Jonas
- 33:48Speaker 1: look a little too by and that was a.
- 33:50Speaker 4: Problem and the ramifications live on today.
- 33:54Speaker 1: Still live on my man. Oh, it's a fine line.
- 33:58Speaker 1: You know, you wanted to be said that you want
- 34:00Speaker 1: to appeal to people. But we put him in that
- 34:03Speaker 1: underwear for Calvin Klein, and Calvin was begging me to
- 34:06Speaker 1: get underwear on neck. Yeah, put it in my imagine,
- 34:09Speaker 1: put straight guy, one straight guy to the NAX. Put
- 34:12Speaker 1: this man in my underwear police, you know, And I
- 34:14Speaker 1: was like, I'm in charge of this guy's growing.
- 34:16Speaker 4: Calvin is desperate. Calvin Klein is very desperate.
- 34:22Speaker 3: Can I ask how it went down? So you did it?
- 34:24Speaker 3: And then when did you find out you had overstepped?
- 34:28Speaker 1: Well? I found out I had overstepped when uh, basically
- 34:32Speaker 1: I got online and there were rumors. And let's just
- 34:37Speaker 1: say that in my industry, if people, if there's allegations
- 34:41Speaker 1: about men, I get fired. If someone says you made
- 34:45Speaker 1: me look a little too a little to something, I'm out.
- 34:50Speaker 1: I'm on my ass. The problem is I'm trying to
- 34:52Speaker 1: make him look hot, and so if they look hot,
- 34:54Speaker 1: they're gonna look a little queer, and they look a
- 34:56Speaker 1: little queer. People gonna think they maybe a little queer.
- 34:58Speaker 4: So now that it must be so easy right now
- 35:01Speaker 4: for you too, because that EASi or hard because the
- 35:04Speaker 4: line is completely blurred and a lot of people want
- 35:06Speaker 4: to look queer. But exactly gay baiting exists. Well, so
- 35:10Speaker 4: you know, Jacob, that affect you.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Jacob Elordi number one penned you know, I could call him,
- 35:14Speaker 1: I could face them him, right now and you pick
- 35:16Speaker 1: up like Jacob Elordi and I. You know, we we
- 35:20Speaker 1: were frustrated because there's a situation he brought up where
- 35:23Speaker 1: he said, my first celebrity crush was Brad Pitt and
- 35:28Speaker 1: Orlando Bloom right, and we were like, oh, he did it.
- 35:31Speaker 1: You know, he said something a little queer. And then
- 35:33Speaker 1: everyone said, that's the straightest answer I've ever heard. This
- 35:35Speaker 1: name is not queer, and so we passed it. We
- 35:38Speaker 1: passed it because if you say it's Brad Pitt, then
- 35:41Speaker 1: you're not gay, right, because everyone's attracted Brad did That's
- 35:45Speaker 1: an easy answer. It's mad say yeah. If you you
- 35:48Speaker 1: say you know somebody that looks if you say something
- 35:51Speaker 1: that looks a little different, you know, if you say
- 35:54Speaker 1: I don't know Gary Oldman, You're like, there's something up here.
- 35:56Speaker 1: You know, there's a history there, must look like somebody's
- 35:58Speaker 1: used to you know. It's if you say you know,
- 36:03Speaker 1: I don't know, it's like, who's my celebrity crush, I
- 36:05Speaker 1: don't know Paul walter Houser. You know, then all of
- 36:06Speaker 1: a sudden you're like stuck.
- 36:09Speaker 2: You seem to have this down to a science. Really
- 36:13Speaker 2: know it.
- 36:16Speaker 1: You have to understand it. And you know, I I
- 36:19Speaker 1: love working with these guys because fashion it can alienate
- 36:23Speaker 1: guys because we feel like we're not enough, you know.
- 36:26Speaker 1: But with these big, strapping, tall men in like Jacob, Jacob,
- 36:30Speaker 1: I'm telling you, if I called him and said my
- 36:31Speaker 1: house is on fire, he'd say say when? And so
- 36:34Speaker 1: do you have a girlfriend. I don't have a girlfriend currently.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Girls Actually, like girls are so confusing to me, and actually,
- 36:40Speaker 1: like I'm just like kind of taking a step away
- 36:42Speaker 1: from girls right now because like I just need to
- 36:44Speaker 1: focus on my work and focus on Jacob, and like
- 36:47Speaker 1: we're we're kind of we're really focusing because he he's
- 36:50Speaker 1: his seventh and eighth ab are locking into place, and
- 36:54Speaker 1: so we're we're waiting for that to lock because I
- 36:57Speaker 1: have some shirts that are going to look really nice
- 36:59Speaker 1: on him, and I've just been going over kind of
- 37:01Speaker 1: checking these abs, like making sure if he's ready, and
- 37:03Speaker 1: it's always like, bro, we're not ready.
- 37:04Speaker 2: And sometimes it can take a moment for the abs
- 37:07Speaker 2: to lock. I know that when when you put new
- 37:09Speaker 2: abs in a man. A lot of people don't know this,
- 37:12Speaker 2: but they move around like slugs until they adapt and
- 37:15Speaker 2: they find the other locks. And sometimes they don't take.
- 37:18Speaker 2: Sometimes they vibrate around the body and they end up
- 37:20Speaker 2: in the wrist, and then you've got a wrist ab
- 37:22Speaker 2: and it's it's useless.
- 37:25Speaker 3: I heard a rumor that you, because of all of this,
- 37:29Speaker 3: like you just have such a fascinating point of view
- 37:32Speaker 3: on the science of what's happening in culture these days.
- 37:35Speaker 3: I heard a rumor that you are doing a podcast
- 37:37Speaker 3: produced by Zara Man.
- 37:39Speaker 1: I am doing a podcast produced by Zara Man. We
- 37:41Speaker 1: shoot him really really fast, and they're pretty good, even
- 37:47Speaker 1: though they're really fast. That's the thing about my Zara podcast.
- 37:50Speaker 1: It's awesome.
- 37:51Speaker 3: I love a fast podcast.
- 37:53Speaker 2: I love every shot is a third of a second,
- 37:56Speaker 2: but it's just enough to get.
- 37:57Speaker 1: It, just enough to get it exactly. And it's like wow,
- 38:00Speaker 1: for the quality this is, I can't believe how quickly
- 38:03Speaker 1: this was made with such moore conditions. We shot in
- 38:07Speaker 1: a terrible place. We're shooting them, we are shooting them
- 38:10Speaker 1: in the Sherman Islands.
- 38:15Speaker 5: It's all highly flammable too.
- 38:17Speaker 1: It's a very flammable podcast. We're releasing it on old
- 38:20Speaker 1: celluloid tapes.
- 38:21Speaker 5: Well, tell Jacob to get out of there.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I had no I had Jacob On as my
- 38:26Speaker 1: first guest. We took shots of Fireball and we looked
- 38:29Speaker 1: at pictures of old playboys. It was really nice. Wow,
- 38:34Speaker 1: I have I love that. Okay, okay, we looked at
- 38:39Speaker 1: pictures of women together shots. You have my dream career, guys,
- 38:43Speaker 1: we all have. We have the same career. We all
- 38:45Speaker 1: have a dream career.
- 38:46Speaker 4: And okay, can we play my favorite game. I love
- 38:49Speaker 4: doing this when I feel a little naughty. So I'm
- 38:52Speaker 4: going to give you guys a celebrity and they're going
- 38:54Speaker 4: to be completely just. You have to dress them head
- 38:57Speaker 4: to toe for an event I choose. Okay, this is
- 39:01Speaker 4: Chris Evans. Un Chris Evans going to a funeral.
- 39:05Speaker 2: Go caprice, black cardigan, sense of a cardigan, dad who
- 39:09Speaker 2: pets a cat?
- 39:10Speaker 1: Clear, plastic lebron Jersey, U stuicy pants.
- 39:18Speaker 4: Good good, good answers.
- 39:20Speaker 3: The shirt must not touch his body yet sit on
- 39:22Speaker 3: his shoulders.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Yes, you can tell. It's the women's shirt material too.
- 39:28Speaker 4: That I would have said black black suit with a
- 39:31Speaker 4: gun and red riding on the back, saying I'm glad
- 39:33Speaker 4: she's gone.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 39:35Speaker 4: Mean okay o, there you go, come on, Chuck.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Okay, here we go, let's go with uh, let's go
- 39:45Speaker 1: with Jeremy Allen White going to an opening of a
- 39:51Speaker 1: tiny bakery.
- 39:52Speaker 5: Caprice shirtless, obviously shirtless caprice.
- 39:58Speaker 4: All right, I'm going to go with just two chains,
- 40:02Speaker 4: a chain mail shirt, nipples pierced, black eyeliner, and a
- 40:08Speaker 4: collar that says choke me nice, so that in that
- 40:13Speaker 4: my version he's got, people are going to be mean
- 40:15Speaker 4: to him.
- 40:16Speaker 5: Yeah, what about you, Chuck, how would you dress him?
- 40:19Speaker 1: I would do Express men's white shirt, and I would
- 40:23Speaker 1: do packs on pants, and and then I go ahead
- 40:27Speaker 1: and I put on uh, let's go with a hat
- 40:31Speaker 1: that says Denver in cursive on it.
- 40:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm dying to know.
- 40:39Speaker 5: What are you guys dressing your clients for the Oscars.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Let's man, let's talk about it. Well, we don't know yet, right, So.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Well, miss I could say, mister Beast will be at
- 40:51Speaker 2: the Oscars love YouTube, which is, as we all know,
- 40:55Speaker 2: the Kid's Choice Awards, And for that we are getting
- 40:59Speaker 2: some hoot He's in from Thrasher. We are looking at
- 41:03Speaker 2: some hoodies from Billabong, and we are looking at some
- 41:06Speaker 2: hoodies from Iced Tea's new hoodie line, which is yet
- 41:10Speaker 2: to be released. It's an industry secret.
- 41:13Speaker 4: He hasn't released it yet. I would see that it
- 41:15Speaker 4: would be one of the first things he releases as
- 41:17Speaker 4: a hoodie line. That's fun.
- 41:19Speaker 2: No, it's a it's all all in the works. It's
- 41:22Speaker 2: all secret secret. Yes, iced tea, iced tea of the UH,
- 41:29Speaker 2: of the of the of of c s I, Yes,
- 41:35Speaker 2: of law and order s VU.
- 41:36Speaker 4: And can I ask you a question? Do you do
- 41:39Speaker 4: you ever try to push mister Beasts past his comfort zone? What?
- 41:44Speaker 4: What can you know? Do you? And what happens?
- 41:46Speaker 2: There was one day, there was one day. There was
- 41:49Speaker 2: one day. Well, I handed him a suit and mister
- 41:57Speaker 2: Beast threw a knife at me. He has a little
- 42:01Speaker 2: knife that he keeps in his uh.
- 42:04Speaker 4: The Little Beast, The Little Beast, I've heard about it.
- 42:06Speaker 2: Little Beast yet to be released, but there will be
- 42:08Speaker 2: a line coming out. He keeps it around in case
- 42:12Speaker 2: rats go by. He when you get to a certain
- 42:15Speaker 2: number of subscribers, you kind of want to kill rats yourself.
- 42:21Speaker 2: I don't know why. I don't know when. But it
- 42:23Speaker 2: happened to the epic Meal time guys, and it happened
- 42:25Speaker 2: to V sawus, and it happened to mister beasts as well.
- 42:29Speaker 2: So he threw the little knife at me. It pierced
- 42:32Speaker 2: my wrist, it drew blood, and he said, why would
- 42:38Speaker 2: you put that fucking shit on me? This is an epic?
- 42:44Speaker 2: Ask me again, what's epic? And then I asked him,
- 42:48Speaker 2: I said, do you want me to ask you or
- 42:50Speaker 2: do you want me to answer it? And he said,
- 42:52Speaker 2: ask me what's epic? So I said, mister beast, what
- 42:54Speaker 2: is epic? And he said, shirt?
- 42:58Speaker 3: Shirt?
- 42:59Speaker 2: And I know he means by shirt, he means hoodie,
- 43:03Speaker 2: and so.
- 43:04Speaker 4: Oh, he thinks hoodie is shirt.
- 43:06Speaker 2: He thinks hoodie is shirt because it's a standard for him.
- 43:10Speaker 2: You know, you got to keep the bubble. You got
- 43:12Speaker 2: to keep the bubble for these guys. You've got to
- 43:14Speaker 2: keep their sense of reality in check. So I won't
- 43:18Speaker 2: be trying anything. I am going to stay on the
- 43:21Speaker 2: epic clean route for him. And we've got a lot
- 43:24Speaker 2: lined up for the Kid's Choice Awards. Let's just say
- 43:28Speaker 2: we've got some options for when he's slimed and some
- 43:31Speaker 2: options for if he's not slimed. Spoiler alert, he's gonna
- 43:34Speaker 2: get slimed.
- 43:35Speaker 3: That's incredible fashion. I'll see you there because Aina is
- 43:38Speaker 3: going to the Kid's Choice Awards as well. Oh way, yes, yes, yes,
- 43:43Speaker 3: she's never going. She never goes the Oscars, but she
- 43:44Speaker 3: will go to the Kids Choice Awards, so I'll see
- 43:46Speaker 3: you there.
- 43:46Speaker 1: I don't want to see her get slimed. Can you
- 43:48Speaker 1: have them stop that? I don't want to see it.
- 43:51Speaker 3: But she giggles in such a funny way.
- 43:53Speaker 1: But it's sad, you know. I don't think. I don't
- 43:55Speaker 1: think you should get slimmed if you're someone with that
- 43:57Speaker 1: much power, like I think that's disrespectful.
- 44:00Speaker 4: Well, so quick question, what do the kids do when
- 44:02Speaker 4: Ida Garden comes out? What are the kids do? In
- 44:04Speaker 4: pair foot? Contessa takes the stage wear if.
- 44:09Speaker 5: She's wearing booty shorts, well she no, no, no, no, no no.
- 44:12Speaker 3: Booty shorts are for us and the crew and for
- 44:14Speaker 3: the ovens. You know it's no. She would never, she
- 44:16Speaker 3: would never. I mean, I fashion. I don't want to
- 44:19Speaker 3: speak out of turn because I know is my best friend,
- 44:21Speaker 3: but I will of course. I've had a moment similar,
- 44:22Speaker 3: and I wonder if anyone here around this table has
- 44:24Speaker 3: had a moment where you suggest something to a client
- 44:27Speaker 3: that is not on brand. Right, there are people I've
- 44:30Speaker 3: dressed people like I remember, well, I did Lady Gaga
- 44:33Speaker 3: once towards the end of my career. It was huge,
- 44:35Speaker 3: and you give her things that you don't think are
- 44:37Speaker 3: on brand and she likes it. But then there are
- 44:39Speaker 3: people like Inna Gardner, where I gave her an Aritzia
- 44:43Speaker 3: leather jacket once and she threw not a small knife,
- 44:47Speaker 3: a butcher's knife, and it came at me so fast,
- 44:52Speaker 3: like I was a chicken ready to be cut and
- 44:54Speaker 3: served to a group of gals for lunch. And it's
- 44:57Speaker 3: so sorry. It was. It was scary. And sometimes that's
- 45:01Speaker 3: when you learn the difference in some clients and like
- 45:03Speaker 3: you challenge some clients and in other clients you just
- 45:06Speaker 3: stay with the few things they want.
- 45:09Speaker 4: You know, that's so interesting, And I completely disagree with
- 45:11Speaker 4: it because I'm having a completely different problem personally. Sometimes
- 45:16Speaker 4: I make a client too mean and it backfires. I
- 45:19Speaker 4: gave Nicole Ritchie a gun and she got too excited
- 45:22Speaker 4: and too into it, and she shot my foot and
- 45:26Speaker 4: she shot my best assistant. So sad we had to
- 45:29Speaker 4: lose her, but she's gone now.
- 45:32Speaker 1: That's not good, no.
- 45:33Speaker 4: And it's just it's just a it's a slippery slope
- 45:36Speaker 4: with mean, because mean can turn into bad. You know,
- 45:39Speaker 4: mean can turn into awful really quick.
- 45:43Speaker 5: Well, agree with Rock and I go piggybacking on Rock
- 45:47Speaker 5: stone Stone.
- 45:49Speaker 4: But I love how mean you are.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Mean.
- 45:51Speaker 4: I should dress you.
- 45:52Speaker 5: I too also have been I I'm actually dressing the
- 45:59Speaker 5: dog from anatomy a fall because sometimes, yeah, I know
- 46:04Speaker 5: it's a big deal because I'm kind of in that
- 46:06Speaker 5: great territory when people think I dress teenagers, I can
- 46:09Speaker 5: also dress pets.
- 46:11Speaker 4: So teenagers pens go hand in hand.
- 46:14Speaker 3: Yes, and he is loud.
- 46:17Speaker 6: He pierced me with a machete because I wanted to
- 46:20Speaker 6: put him in a skirt, and he barked at me
- 46:26Speaker 6: and pierced a machete through my abdomen.
- 46:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:33Speaker 1: I was just gonna say, I wish I could have
- 46:34Speaker 1: heard that nine on one call. That sounds sounds like
- 46:37Speaker 1: a lot to describe.
- 46:38Speaker 3: Do you have it?
- 46:39Speaker 1: I do, let's play it.
- 46:42Speaker 5: Did you want the version of the well the dog
- 46:46Speaker 5: actually speaks too?
- 46:49Speaker 2: Yeah? Awesome, Okay, yes, I'd love to hear it.
- 46:52Speaker 5: All right, someone be the operator.
- 46:59Speaker 2: Skirt Just see I just saw the script be dropped
- 47:02Speaker 2: in the in the chant, so we'll back out.
- 47:04Speaker 4: The nine fashion.
- 47:05Speaker 5: Will you be the nine operator.
- 47:07Speaker 2: Yes, okay, I'm saying, wow, I have a lot of lines.
- 47:12Speaker 5: And I don't have blood, so this is great.
- 47:14Speaker 4: And Rod, can you be the dog stone and I will.
- 47:19Speaker 5: Okay nine one one?
- 47:23Speaker 2: What is your emergency? And can I just say I'm
- 47:27Speaker 2: merge you're hurt? In what way are you hurt? And
- 47:31Speaker 2: tell me all about it? Please and thank you.
- 47:33Speaker 5: My client just threw a machete in my abdomen.
- 47:37Speaker 2: Now tell me more about the machete and how it's
- 47:40Speaker 2: hurting you, and start at the beginning. Please leave out
- 47:43Speaker 2: no details, but just warning. I'm may the blood is
- 47:46Speaker 2: everywhere and what kind of blood is that? A positive?
- 47:50Speaker 2: Be negative or a okay, just a little joke in
- 47:54Speaker 2: my family. Go ahead.
- 47:55Speaker 5: Oh shit, this isn't nine one one called the wrong number.
- 48:00Speaker 4: So you said the dog talk but not once? Right besides,
- 48:04Speaker 4: and it's a dog for me. But I didn't have
- 48:07Speaker 4: a single line.
- 48:09Speaker 3: This is hilarious. Who would have thought you get a
- 48:11Speaker 3: bunch of stylists around the table and we're actually not
- 48:13Speaker 3: talking clothes. We're talking congress legislation. We're talking nine to
- 48:17Speaker 3: one one tapes. We are It's just it's it's.
- 48:20Speaker 2: Almost like we want to talk about anything, but the
- 48:22Speaker 2: clothes could almost say.
- 48:25Speaker 4: That, let's treat them. Everybody go around and just say
- 48:29Speaker 4: clothes for a little.
- 48:30Speaker 1: Bit, collar pants, Jane necklace.
- 48:37Speaker 4: Caprices, I'll say it once more, hat small vest, jean jacket.
- 48:45Speaker 3: Nick Caprice, Beanie.
- 48:48Speaker 4: A mean suck.
- 48:52Speaker 1: Tims, Caprira.
- 48:54Speaker 5: Miranda keeps saying Caprice.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Oh that yes, I am saying, Caprice, best.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Stunner, Caprice, Miranda. Are you are you bored with your
- 49:13Speaker 1: work or what.
- 49:14Speaker 4: What's going on?
- 49:15Speaker 3: Well, that's retirement, honey.
- 49:17Speaker 2: I mean.
- 49:19Speaker 3: I wouldn't dare. I'll talk about it. It's similar to fashion,
- 49:24Speaker 3: where it's like you may get tired and your career
- 49:28Speaker 3: may change, but your creativity never dies. I don't have
- 49:32Speaker 3: the stamina to go from fashion house to fashion house
- 49:37Speaker 3: and take address that Viola Davis wants to try on
- 49:40Speaker 3: and maybe she doesn't like the color, and go back
- 49:42Speaker 3: and forth. I don't have that anymore. I'm in my seventies,
- 49:46Speaker 3: but I am on set, and no matter how many
- 49:51Speaker 3: lavender scones I get cooked from my best friend Ana Gardner,
- 49:55Speaker 3: I still am boored. When I just so. Sometimes I
- 49:58Speaker 3: just tell myself that even though it's Prieze, Caprice Caprice.
- 50:01Speaker 3: There's there's variation in the repetition of the same thing
- 50:05Speaker 3: over and over.
- 50:07Speaker 1: I just want to make sure that we are talking
- 50:09Speaker 1: about in a garden, because you've been saying on a gardener,
- 50:13Speaker 1: and I just want to make sure that we are
- 50:15Speaker 1: talking about the barefoot contessa and not somebody else named
- 50:18Speaker 1: a gardener who could very well also be a chef
- 50:21Speaker 1: for a cook. But you just said she's, you know,
- 50:23Speaker 1: one of your best friends.
- 50:24Speaker 2: I was wondering that as well.
- 50:25Speaker 4: Yes, who see. But I loved it because it was mean.
- 50:29Speaker 4: I loved it.
- 50:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:32Speaker 3: Oh, I call her gardener because I can't get her
- 50:37Speaker 3: out of her backyard. She's always picking tomatoes. And I'm
- 50:40Speaker 3: so sorry. That's so embarrassing. It's like when you call
- 50:42Speaker 3: someone dad in front of a table of not his family.
- 50:46Speaker 4: You call dad for forty five minutes.
- 50:49Speaker 1: I truly get that. I called Jacob Elordi daddy accidentally,
- 50:52Speaker 1: like literally everything.
- 50:53Speaker 2: Okay, Chuck, okay, check, okay, Chuck, what's going on here?
- 50:59Speaker 4: On here? Let's go on.
- 51:01Speaker 2: You have to ask Chuck what's going on here?
- 51:03Speaker 4: No, you better start talking because I'm about to get me.
- 51:08Speaker 1: No.
- 51:09Speaker 2: No, she's told us, spiky bra, you can tell it's
- 51:11Speaker 2: me because it's got studs on it. Just be real
- 51:16Speaker 2: with us.
- 51:17Speaker 3: We're all talking so really, a fashion talked about her
- 51:20Speaker 3: poo poo. Come on, we're all talking about what's really
- 51:24Speaker 3: going on behind the clothes.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Yeah, listen, dudes, like I honestly couldn't tell you like
- 51:30Speaker 1: I am exactly who I am. Like, I am like
- 51:33Speaker 1: fully straight, and I love these men's bodies and I
- 51:36Speaker 1: love shaping them and I love crafting them. I love
- 51:39Speaker 1: being around them. I love touching them. I love making
- 51:42Speaker 1: them look better. And that's it. That's the truth. There's nothing,
- 51:47Speaker 1: there's nothing underlying I you know, they're beautiful, they're incredible
- 51:52Speaker 1: works of art. I want to kiss him. I want
- 51:54Speaker 1: to touch him. I want to make him feel better,
- 51:55Speaker 1: like there's you know, that's what you feel like with art.
- 51:58Speaker 1: You know, that's that's probably how you know. I bet
- 52:01Speaker 1: you michael Angelo kissed his little statue. Don't you guys
- 52:05Speaker 1: think michel Angelo? Come on, but.
- 52:11Speaker 4: He was definitely barking up a tree if you know
- 52:14Speaker 4: what I mean.
- 52:15Speaker 1: Way, dude, michael Angelo was straight. He would have made
- 52:17Speaker 1: that dick look so much nicer if he liked him.
- 52:22Speaker 5: Er, I have a question for you, Chuck.
- 52:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it's up.
- 52:25Speaker 5: Are your other clients going to be jealous that you
- 52:28Speaker 5: keep talking about one client?
- 52:30Speaker 1: H Okay, Yeah, Look, I'm gonna be honest. I have
- 52:33Speaker 1: been getting a little bit of jealousy from certain people
- 52:35Speaker 1: here and there. There's some there's some young hot men
- 52:39Speaker 1: that are wishing they got a little more attention from me.
- 52:42Speaker 1: But it actually works in my favorite because I'm a
- 52:44Speaker 1: more desirable stylast because because I'm like, well, you got
- 52:47Speaker 1: to pass the vibe check. So we got this young
- 52:51Speaker 1: hot shot. His name is uh, Dylan Glove, and he's
- 52:56Speaker 1: he's this really cool guy. He's on an FX show
- 52:58Speaker 1: right now, and he's trying to court me. He's like, bro,
- 53:01Speaker 1: let's go court side to the Knicks, or let's go
- 53:04Speaker 1: court side to the Dallas Stars hockey.
- 53:07Speaker 2: Oh he's courting you, like.
- 53:10Speaker 4: Literally courting you, not like not.
- 53:13Speaker 3: Like intense dating or like intentionally seeing someone. It's courting
- 53:17Speaker 3: going to court side.
- 53:18Speaker 1: No, he's courting me by he's we call it courting,
- 53:21Speaker 1: which is where you're going to come to courtside games
- 53:23Speaker 1: with me until you agree because you love Right.
- 53:25Speaker 2: That actually happened to me, I got gulfed up by
- 53:27Speaker 2: tiger woods. That's what they call it when they keep
- 53:31Speaker 2: inviting you to the PGA tour until eventually you agree to address.
- 53:34Speaker 1: Them right right right? Did you agree?
- 53:37Speaker 2: Well? Yes, until I mean until the incident. Then he
- 53:42Speaker 2: better thans to.
- 53:43Speaker 1: Know which one his are yours.
- 53:45Speaker 2: Jesus dude, they actually happened on the same day, if
- 53:48Speaker 2: you believe it. Oh my god, have you guys ever
- 53:51Speaker 2: been a rough day?
- 53:52Speaker 3: Have you guys ever been home goooded when a woman
- 53:55Speaker 3: in her sixties wants to go to home goods with you?
- 53:59Speaker 2: Oh? I've you got this job?
- 54:02Speaker 3: I get home good at every day.
- 54:04Speaker 1: Wow?
- 54:05Speaker 4: Have you ever been offfled where somebody wants to show
- 54:07Speaker 4: you how mean they can be? So you just kind
- 54:09Speaker 4: of go to places that you shouldn't be and they
- 54:11Speaker 4: act awful?
- 54:13Speaker 3: Stone, who hurt you?
- 54:16Speaker 4: I just want to be nice. I just want to
- 54:18Speaker 4: be nice, And.
- 54:19Speaker 3: Just like that, You've popped open.
- 54:22Speaker 4: What can I say?
- 54:23Speaker 1: I'm a bag of rocks.
- 54:24Speaker 4: I'm easily broken apart.
- 54:26Speaker 2: I can't believe all we had to do was ask.
- 54:29Speaker 4: And nobody did. Not one person this whole time asked
- 54:33Speaker 4: anything about me, Old Stone.
- 54:37Speaker 3: Oh, guys, what are you up to this? So we
- 54:40Speaker 3: were talking about this award season. Does anybody have any
- 54:42Speaker 3: fun little I don't know, previews of something. You can
- 54:45Speaker 3: say a cat out of the bag if you will.
- 54:48Speaker 2: Well, the iHeartRadio Music Awards are they are once again happening.
- 54:55Speaker 2: Like it or not, They're happening, and I.
- 54:58Speaker 1: Don't like it, dude, I don't like it.
- 55:00Speaker 2: They are a scorge on the stylist industry because can
- 55:04Speaker 2: I just say our celebrities, every single celebrity who goes
- 55:08Speaker 2: to the iHeart Radio Music Awards think they're too good
- 55:10Speaker 2: for it. So they want to convey a sense of
- 55:13Speaker 2: I want to look hot, but I also want to
- 55:15Speaker 2: look like I don't give a shit at all. That's
- 55:17Speaker 2: the vibe on the iHeart Radio Music Awards red carpet,
- 55:19Speaker 2: and so it's difficult. It's difficult when you're bringing someone
- 55:22Speaker 2: like mister Beast because he already is wearing hoodies, so
- 55:26Speaker 2: you need to elevate that to a status of So
- 55:29Speaker 2: we got to make a hoodie even more high fashion,
- 55:31Speaker 2: and then we got to tear it down a little
- 55:33Speaker 2: bit so it looks like he doesn't give a shit
- 55:34Speaker 2: even more. And it's such a headache and we really
- 55:40Speaker 2: have to stop it. But something that's different this year
- 55:43Speaker 2: about them is that I know that their production team
- 55:47Speaker 2: is going to be harassing celebrities into dressing better. So
- 55:52Speaker 2: I don't know if you guys heard about this. You're
- 55:54Speaker 2: gonna get little texts on the day of from one
- 55:57Speaker 2: executive producer that says, send me the outfit now, yeah,
- 56:00Speaker 2: and then he's going to send things like, really, that's
- 56:04Speaker 2: what you're wearing. That's what you're wearing.
- 56:06Speaker 1: We've already prapped. I'm working with Bad Bunny on that.
- 56:08Speaker 1: He's going dresses the girl on the front of the
- 56:10Speaker 1: Morton Salt. He's going to support and sell.
- 56:13Speaker 3: Girl and like a Halloween costume.
- 56:16Speaker 1: Yes, literally, we bought it a spirit and he's going
- 56:19Speaker 1: and we're going to fight it because no one's going
- 56:21Speaker 1: to say no to Bad Bunny.
- 56:23Speaker 5: I just think it's ironic that, you know, they're requesting
- 56:25Speaker 5: you guys to dress them up when it's a radio show.
- 56:28Speaker 1: Exactly, dude, exactly, And.
- 56:30Speaker 2: That's what we've been saying for years.
- 56:32Speaker 5: And so are they going to be describing how these
- 56:35Speaker 5: guests look or will there be a you know, will there.
- 56:40Speaker 1: Be no on the show on a lot of show.
- 56:43Speaker 2: Well, I guess they televised the thing.
- 56:45Speaker 1: I think they're televising.
- 56:46Speaker 2: I never watched it, but they do televise the thing.
- 56:49Speaker 1: On a TV Guy channel or some ship. Yeah, it's
- 56:51Speaker 1: it's there's some.
- 56:52Speaker 5: Oh mean I like, I like, let me tent up anger,
- 57:00Speaker 5: you know, with himself?
- 57:01Speaker 1: No, I love myself. I love everything. I love too.
- 57:06Speaker 4: I can't tell if you don't know yourself well enough,
- 57:09Speaker 4: or you know yourself better than that, better than anyone.
- 57:11Speaker 5: At work with teenagers. And I know a lot about
- 57:14Speaker 5: that in our struggles and stuff like that.
- 57:17Speaker 3: Well, inner struggles more like the inner struggles your dad's
- 57:20Speaker 3: creating with all those potholes.
- 57:21Speaker 4: Am I right?
- 57:21Speaker 5: Hey, their closets?
- 57:24Speaker 2: What you should have taken the funds from a different
- 57:28Speaker 2: tax bracket. We cannot be taxing at this rate if
- 57:31Speaker 2: we're going to divert infrastructure funds this way. I'm sorry,
- 57:34Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 57:36Speaker 1: Come on him having goloshes. I actually want to bring
- 57:39Speaker 1: something up because I've been dying to discuss it.
- 57:41Speaker 5: Better not be about my dad, because he is doing
- 57:43Speaker 5: the lord's work.
- 57:45Speaker 1: It's not about your dad. It's about you and the
- 57:47Speaker 1: big oopsie that actually shifted your career from teens.
- 57:50Speaker 5: I told you it was the big fire that erupted.
- 57:53Speaker 1: I know, but there was something else. You were the
- 57:57Speaker 1: stylists for Jennifer Lawrence and the era where she fell
- 58:00Speaker 1: down a lot because she was wearing all those goloshes
- 58:03Speaker 1: you were giving her chuck.
- 58:04Speaker 3: You cannot come back from this.
- 58:06Speaker 2: If you bring this up, I'm going to I'm gonna everywhere.
- 58:13Speaker 2: This is risky business.
- 58:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna light this on fire. Dude, You're the reason
- 58:17Speaker 1: she tripped and.
- 58:18Speaker 3: Then Shohn thing.
- 58:21Speaker 2: If you so much as suggest that Jennifer Lawrence wasn't
- 58:24Speaker 2: being relatable in that moment in twenty sixteen, that is
- 58:28Speaker 2: that is death to you. Harnish my family name like this.
- 58:33Speaker 1: It's been tarnished.
- 58:34Speaker 5: Dude.
- 58:34Speaker 1: You've been done tarnished. I'll tell you that much. But
- 58:37Speaker 1: what I will say is you think you should own
- 58:39Speaker 1: it because I think you did an amazing thing for her.
- 58:42Speaker 1: I think he's an incredible thing, all right. I look, yes,
- 58:46Speaker 1: you did for her what I've been doing with Colin
- 58:48Speaker 1: Ferrell's coats like, you did some amazing stuff with her.
- 58:51Speaker 1: So I think you need to step up and say
- 58:54Speaker 1: I'm the reason she was lovable. I'm the reason she was. Like,
- 58:56Speaker 1: you deserved the spotlight, Marye.
- 59:00Speaker 3: We all deserve the spotlight, we all do.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Will you own it?
- 59:05Speaker 3: Own it?
- 59:05Speaker 2: You know what, I'm going to own it?
- 59:07Speaker 5: Yes, why Jennifer Lawrence tripped so much during her award
- 59:14Speaker 5: season for.
- 59:16Speaker 3: Yes? And you are the reason why Jojo Seawall wore
- 59:19Speaker 3: black that one time. I know that was your work.
- 59:22Speaker 1: It is you.
- 59:22Speaker 5: You just want them to be invisible.
- 59:24Speaker 1: I've actually kind of always had a crush on you.
- 59:27Speaker 1: Mary's which would you want to maybe hang out?
- 59:28Speaker 4: Okay, no way, Now I did not see that coming.
- 59:34Speaker 4: It's been artists on artists on artists on artists, and
- 59:36Speaker 4: so the question, Now, that's why we call it showbiz.
