- Lucas: Welcome back to Learn Norwegian with Fexingo. I am Lucas. Luna: And I am Luna. We are so glad you are here again. Lucas: Today we look at how we communicate now. Not just speaking, but writing. Luna: Right. And typing things on our phones or computers. Lucas: Exactly. So our first word is å skrive. It means to write. Luna: Å skrive. Okay. Let me try that. Å skrive. Lucas: Perfect. Now let's make it a full phrase. Jeg skriver en tekst. Luna: Jeg skriver en tekst. I am writing a text message. Lucas: Yes. You can write an email, a letter, or a short text. Jeg skriver en tekst. Luna: I like that. It feels very common. Jeg skriver en tekst. Lucas: Let's try another form. Du skriver fort. You write fast. Luna: Du skriver fort. Oh, I wish I could write faster than that. Lucas: You are doing great. Du skriver fort. Just keep practicing. Luna: Okay. Du skriver fort. Got it. What about us? Lucas: We can say vi skriver sammen. We write together. Luna: Vi skriver sammen. Like collaborating on a project? Lucas: Exactly. Or even just texting each other throughout the day. Vi skriver sammen. Luna: That sounds nice. Vi skriver sammen. I will remember that one. Now, back to our verbs. The second one is å trykke. Luna: Å trykke. This means to press or to type? Lucas: It means to press. Like pressing a button on your screen. Luna: Okay. Trykke. Let me say that. Trykke. Lucas: Good. Now let's use it in a command. Trykk på knappen. Luna: Trykk på knappen. Press the button. Is that right? Lucas: Spot on. Trykk på knappen. Very useful when you are using an app. Luna: I see. So I use å skrive for the content, and å trykke for the action. Lucas: Exactly. You write the message, then you press send. It makes sense. Luna: Let's repeat them all slowly. Å skrive. Jeg skriver en tekst. Lucas: Jeg skriver en tekst. Then du skriver fort. You write fast. Luna: Du skriver fort. And vi skriver sammen. We write together. Lucas: Vi skriver sammen. Good. Now for the second verb. Å trykke. Luna: Å trykke. And the phrase: Trykk på knappen. Lucas: Trykk på knappen. Perfect. One last time for good measure. Luna: Okay. Jeg skriver en tekst. Trykk på knappen. Lucas: Excellent work today. You are building a solid foundation. Luna: I feel more confident about my digital Norwegian skills. Lucas: Keep practicing these phrases. Say them out loud while you type. Luna: Will do. Thanks for the lesson, Lucas. Lucas: Thanks for joining us. See you next time.
