- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know six o'clock on this
- 0:03Speaker 1: Tuesday morning. Thank you for starting your day with us.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Ricky Sanchez is back. Happy to have you back, Ricky,
- 0:08Speaker 1: happy to be back. I'm sure you are.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 0:12Speaker 3: The twenty twenty four MTV Video Music Awards have moved
- 0:15Speaker 3: their date. This is really important because originally their award
- 0:18Speaker 3: show is set to happen September tenth, but with the
- 0:20Speaker 3: confirmation of the presidential debate, they've decided they were going
- 0:23Speaker 3: to move it to a day later. They don't want
- 0:24Speaker 3: to compete with them for multiple reasons. I mean, MTV
- 0:27Speaker 3: was a big component of the voting, registering to vote
- 0:30Speaker 3: and things like that. But also you know, there's no
- 0:33Speaker 3: reason to have competition if you could move it, So
- 0:34Speaker 3: they moved it to the next day, September eleventh. You'll
- 0:36Speaker 3: see performances by Chaperone, Saverina Carpenter, Camila Cabello, Glrilla, Raul Alejandro.
- 0:43Speaker 3: There's so many people that are going to be there performing,
- 0:44Speaker 3: So September eleventh is a new date. Millennials, I have
- 0:47Speaker 3: really sad news for you. This really hit me in
- 0:50Speaker 3: the heart. Cartoon Network's website has officially shut down. Oh no,
- 0:54Speaker 3: So if you grew up and you are a millennial
- 0:57Speaker 3: and you loved Cartoon Network, you know that website was
- 1:00Speaker 3: great for like games, and the games also coincided with
- 1:02Speaker 3: like the shows that you would watch, and all these
- 1:04Speaker 3: little videos were on it, and it was like such
- 1:07Speaker 3: an iconic moment of my past.
- 1:09Speaker 2: I'm so sorry to hear this.
- 1:10Speaker 3: It's so sad. So now when you go to their website,
- 1:13Speaker 3: it'll redirect you to Max. So Max is where you
- 1:16Speaker 3: can stream a bunch of your favorite Cartoon Network shows.
- 1:19Speaker 3: But now there's no longer going to be a Cartoon
- 1:21Speaker 3: Network website. And it's just like as upsetting because you know,
- 1:24Speaker 3: trl that whole MTV, they shut down their whole thing,
- 1:28Speaker 3: so there's no more interviews that are up on their website. Yeah,
- 1:31Speaker 3: so like all these things are like just changing and
- 1:34Speaker 3: it's really sad. I know, I hate it so much.
- 1:39Speaker 3: And the Metro National Airport Authority has agreed to pay
- 1:41Speaker 3: for the medical bills for a Kentucky school teacher who
- 1:44Speaker 3: was bitten by a bomb sniffing dog back in twenty
- 1:46Speaker 3: twenty two. So she was bit by the TSA trained
- 1:49Speaker 3: dog while she was passing by it and it's handler.
- 1:51Speaker 3: She said that it was completely unprovoked according to the filings,
- 1:55Speaker 3: and she was one of multiple other cases where this
- 1:57Speaker 3: has happened that WSMV four has uncovered. So they have
- 2:01Speaker 3: filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the TSA
- 2:04Speaker 3: to try and determine if this has happened in other
- 2:07Speaker 3: airports across the country and if there's a connection between
- 2:10Speaker 3: the way that TSA is training dogs and the way
- 2:13Speaker 3: that they're behaving around with people in the airport. Yeah,
- 2:15Speaker 3: really scary stuff, so, you know, just something to be
- 2:18Speaker 3: aware of.
- 2:19Speaker 2: I always get nervous around those dogs. I don't know why.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I don't like to make eye contact with them because
- 2:23Speaker 1: I just don't want to, Like, I don't want them
- 2:25Speaker 1: to look at me.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I don't want to appear suspicious in any way.
- 2:28Speaker 3: It's the same thing as when you're driving and you're
- 2:29Speaker 3: not doing anything wrong, but a cop pulls up behind
- 2:31Speaker 3: you and suddenly you're like, oh my god, what did
- 2:33Speaker 3: I do? And you did nothing. You just get nervous.
- 2:35Speaker 3: It's totally normal. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the
- 2:38Speaker 3: three things you need to know.
- 2:39Speaker 4: One oh seven five of the.
- 2:40Speaker 2: River Ricky Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 2:44Speaker 3: We're looking for our first color of the day on
- 2:46Speaker 3: one oh seven five the river. So now is your time.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Pull out that phone, call us.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I feel like if I was listening to Shaboozie's a
- 2:52Speaker 1: bar song, I'd be able to ride a bull for
- 2:54Speaker 1: like five minutes.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Absolutely not.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Get y'll pumped up. That's what we have for you,
- 2:58Speaker 1: PBR tickets Professional bull riders. Get to be a bridge
- 3:00Speaker 1: stone this weekend. First call or these tickets to yours
- 3:03Speaker 1: six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine seven.
- 3:05Speaker 3: There's no way you could do five minutes on a
- 3:07Speaker 3: mechanical ball if I was.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Listening to the right song, I think I could.
- 3:09Speaker 3: I would change to test this.
- 3:11Speaker 5: I say a cano.
- 3:12Speaker 2: No, I mean a real ball.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Real blow my god, absolutely not one.
- 3:18Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning.
- 3:20Speaker 3: So Shelby Eventuliet. You're driving into work. That's a good thing.
- 3:24Speaker 3: What do you do for work?
- 3:26Speaker 6: I'm an X ray tech in the o r A
- 3:28Speaker 6: Centennial downtown.
- 3:30Speaker 5: Wow, that's fancy.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Yeah. What's the weirdest thing you ever saw in somebody's body?
- 3:35Speaker 7: Oh gosh, I don't know if I'm allowed to say.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I don't think you are the songs.
- 3:39Speaker 2: You don't tell us who it was. I think it's fine.
- 3:41Speaker 3: No, I think there's a little murky lines there. Kevin
- 3:43Speaker 3: Mills tell us, tell us.
- 3:46Speaker 7: Oh, well, I've seen some crazy stuff, but it's nothing
- 3:50Speaker 7: new every day and I joined my job very much.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Okay, you don't have to tell us what it was
- 3:54Speaker 1: or anything, but like, how often do people get things
- 3:57Speaker 1: stuck in their butt?
- 3:58Speaker 3: Oh my god?
- 3:59Speaker 7: Oh it?
- 4:00Speaker 3: Yeah, Oh my god. Okay, shall be before this just
- 4:04Speaker 3: gets even more terrifying this conversation. I want to say, congratulations.
- 4:09Speaker 3: You are our first caller of the day on one
- 4:10Speaker 3: O seven five of the River. You're gonna go see
- 4:12Speaker 3: peb Arbridge Sonorna.
- 4:14Speaker 8: Oh my gosh, thank you so much.
- 4:16Speaker 5: It is awesome.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Yeah, good, it's happening this weekend.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Professional boll writer is going to be there and so
- 4:21Speaker 1: will you shall be congrats.
- 4:22Speaker 7: Oh my god, thank you so much.
- 4:24Speaker 3: You're so welcome. We will be have the best day
- 4:26Speaker 3: and no butt situation.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Talk off the air. I want more, Kevin.
- 4:32Speaker 5: When is the last time you got something stuck in
- 4:34Speaker 5: your butt?
- 4:34Speaker 3: You're way so interested in this is how I knew
- 4:36Speaker 3: this is gonna happen.
- 4:38Speaker 2: You've heard so many stories about. It's like more common
- 4:41Speaker 2: than you would think that people are going into hospitals with.
- 4:44Speaker 3: We love you and appreciate you so much, Shelby, hang
- 4:46Speaker 3: on the line so we can get some info from you. Okay, okay,
- 4:49Speaker 3: thank you so much, day too, you.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Too, Shelby, Thank you so much. More of these tickets tomorrow.
- 4:55Speaker 1: First caller of the.
- 4:56Speaker 4: X Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Zach is like a huge onion.
- 5:04Speaker 1: There's always more layers to peel back, always more stuff
- 5:07Speaker 1: to learn about.
- 5:07Speaker 5: I thought you even gonna say that I smell no, no, no, you.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Don't like wearing guerant. It's Ricky Zacamano in the morning
- 5:14Speaker 3: on one O seven five of the River. You're saying
- 5:16Speaker 3: this because Zach and I go on a trip every
- 5:18Speaker 3: year to this radio conference, and whenever we go, because
- 5:22Speaker 3: it's so expensive to attend, we end up sharing a
- 5:24Speaker 3: room every year. Yeah, just you know, make sure everything's
- 5:28Speaker 3: not going to make or break.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Us economically friendly there we go.
- 5:32Speaker 3: So every year I learned something new about Zach because
- 5:35Speaker 3: Zach and I spend every day together, even outside of
- 5:38Speaker 3: being here on the radio. But like it's different when
- 5:40Speaker 3: you're actually sharing a room with someone and stuck with them.
- 5:42Speaker 2: For that's the thing.
- 5:43Speaker 1: The fact that you guys spend every single day together
- 5:45Speaker 1: and you have for years, and yet there are still
- 5:47Speaker 1: more to learn about the man.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Is why he's like an onion.
- 5:50Speaker 5: That's why I'm excited. What did you learn about me?
- 5:52Speaker 5: Tell me how great I am.
- 5:54Speaker 3: I don't know if you should get that excited. I've
- 5:57Speaker 3: learned that we've gotten to the point in our relationship
- 6:00Speaker 3: that when we are sharing a bed together, he does
- 6:03Speaker 3: not care to make sure that I'm comfortable, meaning that
- 6:07Speaker 3: he will bodily functions. Doesn't matter that he's right next
- 6:12Speaker 3: to me.
- 6:12Speaker 5: I farted on me.
- 6:13Speaker 3: That okay, that's one way to say. He makes fun
- 6:17Speaker 3: of me and always says that I'm terrible to sleep
- 6:19Speaker 3: next to you because I snore. But this man stores
- 6:21Speaker 3: louder than anyone I've ever been around. He also, for me,
- 6:25Speaker 3: elbowed me and kicked me in the middle of the
- 6:27Speaker 3: night two nights in a row.
- 6:28Speaker 5: Then don't be in my way.
- 6:30Speaker 3: He's also gotten so much worse when it comes to
- 6:32Speaker 3: trying to keep track of where he is at all times,
- 6:35Speaker 3: because he will wander.
- 6:38Speaker 2: So bad.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Everything you've said you're describing a toddler is having This
- 6:43Speaker 1: is having a little three year old, and keep tracking.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Is exactly what it's like.
- 6:48Speaker 5: How am I supposed to like control myself in my sleep?
- 6:51Speaker 5: I'm asleep? Is that? What do you want me to do?
- 6:54Speaker 3: You were not asleep for some of these things, and
- 6:56Speaker 3: you know.
- 6:56Speaker 5: When I farted on you, I was righte awake.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Stop. Okay, you see what I mean?
- 7:00Speaker 5: Though, you see what I mean.
- 7:02Speaker 3: So trying to track him and keep track of him
- 7:04Speaker 3: has gotten worse over the years. At first, I think
- 7:06Speaker 3: he cared to let me know where he was. Now
- 7:09Speaker 3: I won't see Zach for seven hours and I have
- 7:11Speaker 3: no idea where he is.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Honestly, that is a good thing that you guys share
- 7:14Speaker 1: each other's locations on your phone.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Read That makes sense in those situations. Yeah, my thought.
- 7:18Speaker 5: I made friends and they invited me to go different places.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I think I went to tie a balloon to him,
- 7:22Speaker 2: like you do with kids. Sometimes you can always see him.
- 7:25Speaker 3: My biggest thing I learned, though, is that he's terrible
- 7:28Speaker 3: when it comes to being an airport partner because he's
- 7:30Speaker 3: such a bad influence. All he wants to do is
- 7:34Speaker 3: push the time to get to the airport until it's
- 7:37Speaker 3: like almost too late, and I've had to convince him I.
- 7:40Speaker 5: Don't want to sit at the airport for hours upon
- 7:43Speaker 5: hours upon hours.
- 7:44Speaker 1: There had been a lot of stories about you being
- 7:45Speaker 1: the last one to waltz onto a plane fashionably late.
- 7:49Speaker 5: I don't like to sit at the airport for hours
- 7:51Speaker 5: like there was. We were in San Diego. There were
- 7:53Speaker 5: so many things that we could have done, but Ricky
- 7:54Speaker 5: was like, let's go sit at the airport for four.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Hours, so dramatic. I wanted to get there two hours
- 8:00Speaker 3: to the flight. Why check out of our We had
- 8:02Speaker 3: to check out of our little place that we were at,
- 8:05Speaker 3: And he was like, we should just go down to
- 8:06Speaker 3: the pool and drink. And I was like, no way,
- 8:08Speaker 3: we are going to make it to our flight if
- 8:10Speaker 3: we do.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Drinking the airport. Just have a for hours.
- 8:14Speaker 5: And it's way more expensive at the airport.
- 8:16Speaker 3: And we're drinking at the airport and this man goes
- 8:18Speaker 3: shots and I was like, what is going on.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Person, Zach, do you have a rebuttal here? We'll give
- 8:25Speaker 1: you thirty seconds.
- 8:26Speaker 4: No.
- 8:27Speaker 5: I just don't think there's anything wrong with anything that
- 8:29Speaker 5: I did. I can't control highly sleep, so I'm sorry.
- 8:31Speaker 5: If I elbowed your a punch you while I was sleeping?
- 8:33Speaker 5: How am I supposed to control my body if I
- 8:35Speaker 5: was snoring? Can't help that I was asleep? What do
- 8:38Speaker 5: you want me to do about it? And the airport,
- 8:40Speaker 5: I don't want to sit there for hours upon hours.
- 8:42Speaker 5: I want to make a fashionable entrance.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Three days.
- 8:47Speaker 4: You need to know.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Just past seven o'clock on this Tuesday morning, Ricky Sanchez
- 8:51Speaker 1: has those three things.
- 8:52Speaker 3: An update on the Jordan Childs bronze metal situation. She
- 8:56Speaker 3: officially does have to give it back. This has been
- 9:00Speaker 3: in quite the scenario and such a mess for the
- 9:03Speaker 3: Olympics and women's gymnastics. So when this whole thing went down,
- 9:07Speaker 3: the United States Gymnastic Organization had submitted documentation to the
- 9:11Speaker 3: Court of Arbitration for Sport that they thought proved that
- 9:14Speaker 3: Jordan Childs should retain her Olympic bronze medal because there
- 9:19Speaker 3: was a whole issue about timing and when they had
- 9:22Speaker 3: decided to challenge the scoring and the rules and things
- 9:26Speaker 3: like that, and then late yesterday the arbitration panel refused
- 9:30Speaker 3: to reconsider their decision and they decided that that's just
- 9:34Speaker 3: not going to happen and she cannot keep the medal
- 9:37Speaker 3: and she does have to give it back. The US
- 9:39Speaker 3: Gymnastics say that they're going to continue to fight this.
- 9:42Speaker 3: We obviously don't know what's going to happen, but like
- 9:45Speaker 3: I said, this is quite a mess for the Olympics
- 9:47Speaker 3: and for the women's gymnastics as a whole, because now
- 9:51Speaker 3: I've never seen anything like this personally, I don't know
- 9:53Speaker 3: if anybody has, but now everyone's kind of concerned about
- 9:56Speaker 3: the rulings and how things are processed the scenes, because
- 10:01Speaker 3: this is a big deal.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Well, when things are judged by human beings, I feel
- 10:05Speaker 1: like there's a lot of room for error and yeah,
- 10:06Speaker 1: at this point.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Which is why they should allow these appeals in these scenarios,
- 10:10Speaker 3: because there are just problems.
- 10:13Speaker 2: And it doesn't look good now for the future.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Because if you can't appeal and appeal then it's kind
- 10:17Speaker 3: of like okay, well what right?
- 10:19Speaker 9: Right?
- 10:20Speaker 3: If you're wrong twice, it doesn't make it okay. So yeah,
- 10:23Speaker 3: the USA Gymnastics said that they're not going to give
- 10:25Speaker 3: up the fight, so keep you posted on if anything
- 10:27Speaker 3: changes there. There is currently a car driving around Brentwood
- 10:30Speaker 3: mapping potholes and problem areas. So if you've see in
- 10:32Speaker 3: a strange car and you're like confused because there's a
- 10:35Speaker 3: bunch of sensors on it and cameras and you're like,
- 10:37Speaker 3: what are you doing? This is what it's doing, So
- 10:40Speaker 3: driving all five hundred lane road miles, and it's going
- 10:43Speaker 3: to scan and then use all that data into a
- 10:46Speaker 3: cloud based database in order to let us know the
- 10:49Speaker 3: places that need more help than others so that they
- 10:52Speaker 3: can fix the roads. But it's supposed to be a
- 10:54Speaker 3: budget friendly way of planning to fix the roads.
- 10:57Speaker 1: I like, the guy driving that car is going to
- 10:58Speaker 1: be out there changing his tie like every twenty minutes.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Because you know there are plenty of botholes all over
- 11:05Speaker 3: the place. Anie Ann's is now in the perfume game,
- 11:09Speaker 3: and I think this is genius. So if you know
- 11:11Speaker 3: Aniean's the pretzel shop, you know the very specific smell
- 11:14Speaker 3: that comes along with those pretzels and their shop. So
- 11:17Speaker 3: now you can smell just like them with their new
- 11:19Speaker 3: scent called need get it like.
- 11:23Speaker 2: The dough Yeah yeah, yeah, that's good.
- 11:25Speaker 3: So it's said to have quote notes of buttery, dough, salt,
- 11:29Speaker 3: and a hint of sweetness. So starting tomorrow you can
- 11:32Speaker 3: grab a one ounce or three point four ounce bottle
- 11:34Speaker 3: on their website annie ans dot com, slash need k
- 11:38Speaker 3: n e A d Y Sanchez and those are the
- 11:40Speaker 3: three things you need to know.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I normally wouldn't buy a fragrance online because you can't
- 11:44Speaker 1: smell it, But this one, I feel like.
- 11:45Speaker 2: We all know what it's gonna smell like, and I'm
- 11:47Speaker 2: there delicious.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Hey, right after post malone and Morgan Wallin's Zach's Fax,
- 11:51Speaker 1: we're all gonna learn something, probably a little bit weird.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Next, I want to set and by the river.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and manno in the morning on the
- 12:01Speaker 4: river what you got.
- 12:02Speaker 3: For us today? On Zach's Fax on one O seven
- 12:04Speaker 3: five the river.
- 12:05Speaker 5: Have you guys ever tried to sneeze with your eyes open?
- 12:07Speaker 2: I have tried it because they say it's impossible.
- 12:09Speaker 5: It is impossible, and that's your factor of the day.
- 12:11Speaker 5: And it's a natural reflex apparently to protect your eyes
- 12:14Speaker 5: from allergens.
- 12:15Speaker 3: God, I hate sneezing.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I think I've seen videos of people trying to like
- 12:19Speaker 1: tape their eyes open to sneeze as like an experience.
- 12:22Speaker 5: I feel like that's something you would.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Do ken before you page scares me, say.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Your eyeballs pop out, but I don't think that's true.
- 12:28Speaker 5: Well I'm not gonna try because I don't want to
- 12:30Speaker 5: find out. But that's your fact of the day. You
- 12:32Speaker 5: can't sneeze with your eyes open.
- 12:34Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 12:36Speaker 3: On what is the most incorrect assumption that someone has
- 12:41Speaker 3: made about you when they first met you? It's one
- 12:44Speaker 3: o seven five the river when I was at the
- 12:47Speaker 3: TSA gate, not even the TSA yet. I was just
- 12:50Speaker 3: giving my bag at the airport and the guy who
- 12:54Speaker 3: checks your bag, you know, they're like, oh, do you
- 12:55Speaker 3: have lithium batteries and all these things like make sure
- 12:58Speaker 3: you don't have all that stuff on your in your luggage.
- 13:03Speaker 3: He asked me if I had a vape and I
- 13:05Speaker 3: said no, and he said, okay, are you sure you
- 13:09Speaker 3: don't have a vape? And I said, I'm positive I
- 13:13Speaker 3: don't have a vape.
- 13:14Speaker 2: So in my bag assuming that you vape?
- 13:16Speaker 3: Yes, And I was like, do I look like someone
- 13:19Speaker 3: who vapes? Is that why you're assuming this about me? Which, listen,
- 13:23Speaker 3: I'm not gonna yuck anybody's yum do your thing. I
- 13:25Speaker 3: should care, but I don't so I was like, no,
- 13:28Speaker 3: you just have vape vibes, and he stared at me
- 13:29Speaker 3: as if I was lying to him. And I didn't
- 13:32Speaker 3: know what to do in that moment, because I was like,
- 13:33Speaker 3: do I am I giving vape vibes? But correct incorrect
- 13:38Speaker 3: assumption about me. I was shocked and appalled that this
- 13:41Speaker 3: man was convinced that I had a vape in my bag,
- 13:44Speaker 3: and not only that I had a vape, that I
- 13:45Speaker 3: would lie to him.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Yeah, uh six seven three seven nine seven. So that's
- 13:49Speaker 1: what we're looking for, like incorrect assumptions about you as
- 13:53Speaker 1: a person.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Someone who later may have said like, oh, I thought
- 13:55Speaker 3: you were like this, and it turns out you're actually
- 13:57Speaker 3: like that.
- 13:57Speaker 4: Yeah. Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on
- 14:03Speaker 4: the River.
- 14:03Speaker 2: He told the story.
- 14:04Speaker 1: A minute ago, a TSA employee just assumed that she vapes.
- 14:08Speaker 2: You apparently have vape.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Vibes, and not only that I have vake vibes, but
- 14:11Speaker 3: I'm a liar too.
- 14:12Speaker 2: So we're looking for similar stories, all.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Right, Kia and Lebanon. What is an incorrect assumption that
- 14:18Speaker 3: someone made about you?
- 14:19Speaker 8: There was a time where I was getting my groceries loaded,
- 14:23Speaker 8: and I have a veteran tag on my car, and
- 14:26Speaker 8: I was it was assumed that I was the spouse
- 14:29Speaker 8: of the veterans.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Oh, I see.
- 14:32Speaker 8: Yes, and it happens a lot. And when I said
- 14:35Speaker 8: that I was a veteran, he literally gave me the
- 14:37Speaker 8: third degree and asked me like eight different questions and
- 14:39Speaker 8: I was like, look, dude, just loads the groceries.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Oh that's rude.
- 14:43Speaker 3: I hate that. Also, thank you so much for your service, Kio.
- 14:47Speaker 3: We appreciate you more than you know. That is so
- 14:50Speaker 3: annoying because now you feel like somebody's downgrading you for
- 14:53Speaker 3: something that you work so hard at.
- 14:54Speaker 8: Absolutely so, if anybody out there you know has goes
- 14:58Speaker 8: in that situation, don't assume that a woman didn't serve
- 15:01Speaker 8: in the military.
- 15:02Speaker 1: That and just to stop making assumptions about people in general.
- 15:06Speaker 2: That's yeah.
- 15:09Speaker 3: Thank you, Kia.
- 15:10Speaker 1: We appreciate you not only for your service, but thank
- 15:12Speaker 1: you for listening.
- 15:12Speaker 2: You're the best.
- 15:13Speaker 8: Yep, you'll have a good one.
- 15:15Speaker 1: We have just Senta in Mount Juliet on the phone,
- 15:18Speaker 1: just sent to what did somebody assume about you.
- 15:21Speaker 2: That was not accurate?
- 15:22Speaker 6: Right? Yes, So I go to the grocery like odd
- 15:26Speaker 6: times of the day. Just I work from home, and
- 15:28Speaker 6: I just go at random time, sure, and there's always
- 15:30Speaker 6: this rude checkout guy. He's the same one every single time,
- 15:35Speaker 6: and he always makes rude comments like, oh, wish I
- 15:38Speaker 6: didn't have to work, so I could just go to
- 15:41Speaker 6: this store whenever I wanted, and I wish that, you know,
- 15:45Speaker 6: and I have a lot of groceries sometimes and he
- 15:47Speaker 6: just always makes rood comments like that I don't work
- 15:51Speaker 6: or you know that I'm just.
- 15:53Speaker 7: Spoiled and guys the worst.
- 15:55Speaker 6: Oh well, then one day I came through and I
- 15:58Speaker 6: had a bunch of stuff and he I this weird comment,
- 16:01Speaker 6: and I just said, yeah, it's poor, you know, the
- 16:05Speaker 6: the Mount Juliet Health Center. And then it seemed like
- 16:09Speaker 6: totally changed. From then on, he's so nice to me.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Oh now he wants to be nice ridiculous.
- 16:15Speaker 1: First of all, I wonder if he was flirting with you.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Second of all, I wonder if he's the same grocery
- 16:19Speaker 1: store employee from Kia's stories.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Also, if he is flirting, that is a terrible strategy.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Men out there do not flirt that way, terrible shatow
- 16:28Speaker 3: many of them.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Do, though they be It's like it's like something an
- 16:31Speaker 2: eight year old with you this.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Terrible strategy, though it never works.
- 16:34Speaker 9: I promise you just send to thank you so much
- 16:36Speaker 9: for calling and thanks to what you're doing over there
- 16:38Speaker 9: at the place you just mentioned that I forgot already.
- 16:40Speaker 8: Thanks every day, you're the best.
- 16:43Speaker 3: It was the Mount Juliet Health Center.
- 16:45Speaker 4: That's right, That's what it was, Ricky Zach and Manno
- 16:48Speaker 4: in the morning.
- 16:49Speaker 3: On another day, another secret show giveaway on one O
- 16:54Speaker 3: seven five the River.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Yeah, yesterday, I said, oh, the show's I'm gonna get
- 16:58Speaker 1: announced later today.
- 16:59Speaker 3: That didn't Why like that, because that's what they.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Said was originally we're supposed to announced yesterday, but it's
- 17:04Speaker 1: a supposedly coming later today.
- 17:06Speaker 3: All right, Well it's gonna be a big one. It's
- 17:08Speaker 3: gonna be one that you want to go to. I
- 17:10Speaker 3: can promise you that. And with Kevin Mano's Game of
- 17:12Speaker 3: the Day presented by Genesis Diamonds, you could go fee free.
- 17:16Speaker 2: And the theme of the game still doesn't really make
- 17:18Speaker 2: any sense.
- 17:18Speaker 3: I want to know why it's called I mustache.
- 17:21Speaker 2: You a question because you weren't here yesterday.
- 17:23Speaker 1: There mustache themed question, so all the questions are about
- 17:27Speaker 1: you know, famous mustaches. Okay, six seven nine seven. You
- 17:32Speaker 1: have to get two out of three of them right
- 17:34Speaker 1: and again one swite finally announced the show. It's gonna
- 17:37Speaker 1: make a little more sense, I promise. We just can't yet,
- 17:39Speaker 1: so it seems it's absurd, kind of weird.
- 17:41Speaker 2: But let's play the game. It's game time, baby.
- 17:43Speaker 4: We're playing next other river for Ricky is Zach and
- 17:47Speaker 4: Mano in the morning.
- 17:48Speaker 3: On the River, Roger and Hermitage, good morning. Are you
- 17:52Speaker 3: ready to play Kevin Mano's game of the day on
- 17:54Speaker 3: one O seven five the River?
- 17:56Speaker 7: Do this?
- 17:56Speaker 2: I'm ready. It's game time, baby. Do you have a mustache? Roger? No,
- 18:00Speaker 2: I have no.
- 18:01Speaker 4: I don't do.
- 18:02Speaker 3: You sound like you would have a mustache, though, I
- 18:04Speaker 3: will say that.
- 18:05Speaker 5: If I could grow one, I would, but I can't.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Oh I'm sorry, Roger.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Yeah, spot Well, hopefully you can get two out of
- 18:12Speaker 1: three of these mustache themed questions right. If you do,
- 18:15Speaker 1: you win tickets to our mystery show, which is supposed
- 18:18Speaker 1: to be announced later today.
- 18:19Speaker 7: Oh. I like mystery.
- 18:21Speaker 2: It's a good mystery.
- 18:21Speaker 3: I promise you it's a great mystery.
- 18:23Speaker 6: I'm ready.
- 18:24Speaker 2: All right, man, let's go. I mustache you. A question
- 18:27Speaker 2: starts right now, Roger in hermitage.
- 18:31Speaker 1: What professional wrestler would regularly rip his yellow shirt off
- 18:35Speaker 1: while sporting a big blonde mustache.
- 18:39Speaker 4: That would be all right?
- 18:41Speaker 3: Oh your voice even yeah, I like it.
- 18:45Speaker 2: I have a mustache now. He just grew one.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Chris Pratt and Charlie Day voiced brothers with mustaches.
- 18:54Speaker 2: And what animated movie.
- 18:58Speaker 7: I don't remember the name of the I can see
- 19:00Speaker 7: it because my kid, so we watch it all the time.
- 19:03Speaker 2: I'm gonna pass.
- 19:04Speaker 6: I don't know the goal.
- 19:06Speaker 1: You might be thinking of a different movie because this
- 19:08Speaker 1: name is very memorable.
- 19:10Speaker 2: The Super Mario Brothers movie.
- 19:12Speaker 8: A different one.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, they were brothers. You know Mario, he does,
- 19:17Speaker 2: he does.
- 19:17Speaker 3: And that's okay, Roger, because you have one more question
- 19:20Speaker 3: that if you get it right, you'll get the tickets.
- 19:22Speaker 2: I have a good feeling about this, Roger.
- 19:23Speaker 1: What tall actor and his mustache starred as doctor Richard
- 19:28Speaker 1: Burke on several episodes of Friends. Uh yeah, Rogers did it?
- 19:39Speaker 2: Tom Selleck for the win.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Congratulations, Thank you.
- 19:42Speaker 2: We'd love to tell you what you want, but we can't.
- 19:45Speaker 2: But it's cool. I promise, no worry, no worry. All right, Well,
- 19:48Speaker 2: you hang on, you're gonna be pumped when you find out.
- 19:50Speaker 2: And thanks for listening to call on a plan.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Have a great day, Roger, Thank you guys.
- 19:54Speaker 9: I didn't say Roger that one time you did before
- 19:57Speaker 9: he got on the phone.
- 19:59Speaker 5: That does count.
- 20:00Speaker 2: That made me mad, so I didn't say it during again.
- 20:03Speaker 1: We will hopefully annow it's the show later today and
- 20:05Speaker 1: then have the tickets again him tomorrow.
- 20:07Speaker 8: Three days.
- 20:08Speaker 1: You need to just past eight o'clock on this Tuesday morning.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Hope you're having a nice one so far. Ricky Sanchez
- 20:13Speaker 1: has those three things.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Jelly Roll open to Youth center in Nashville. If you
- 20:18Speaker 3: know Jelly's story, you know he spent quite a bit
- 20:20Speaker 3: of time in Davidson County Juvenile's Justice Center and he
- 20:24Speaker 3: very much is focused on giving back to our community
- 20:27Speaker 3: and specifically the youth community and those with addiction and
- 20:31Speaker 3: things like that. So, according to Nashville's Juvenile Court Clerk website,
- 20:36Speaker 3: this new facility will quote to be a family oriented,
- 20:39Speaker 3: trauma informed campus. So it's a fourteen acre site that's
- 20:42Speaker 3: going to have facilities to help families, a twenty four
- 20:44Speaker 3: hour center for youths, and crisis courtrooms and meeting spaces.
- 20:49Speaker 3: He had said, quote get rid of stuff that makes
- 20:52Speaker 3: you feel like caged animal. Make these kids feel loved
- 20:55Speaker 3: and give them a chance in life. A lot of
- 20:58Speaker 3: these kids are victims of their circumstances. This is a
- 21:00Speaker 3: really great chance to change things the best. I love
- 21:03Speaker 3: this so much so. The construction on the youth campus
- 21:05Speaker 3: or Empowerment is said to be completed in twenty twenty seven.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Like I said, we love to see it. We'd love
- 21:12Speaker 3: to see people give back to the community and this.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Is so important, amazing.
- 21:15Speaker 3: There is lots of drama surrounding the It ends with
- 21:18Speaker 3: us cast right now. Yes, oh man, so Justin Baldoni,
- 21:23Speaker 3: he is in the hot seat right now after the
- 21:25Speaker 3: release of this new movie. He stars in it alongside
- 21:28Speaker 3: Blake Lively. He's also the director of the movie. But
- 21:31Speaker 3: people are noticing that things are a little sketchy. Things
- 21:34Speaker 3: are happening where he's not promoting it with the rest
- 21:36Speaker 3: of the cast. He's not seen with Blake Lively. It
- 21:39Speaker 3: looks like Blake had unfollowed him on social media platforms,
- 21:44Speaker 3: and there's a rumor that he created a toxic work
- 21:46Speaker 3: environment on sets. Wow, which, obviously, as the director of
- 21:49Speaker 3: the movie, not what you want to hear as the
- 21:51Speaker 3: star of the movie. Not what you want to hear,
- 21:52Speaker 3: as any part of the movie. Not what you want
- 21:54Speaker 3: to hear. But you're supposed to be a leader in
- 21:55Speaker 3: those in those scenarios, and things got so bad that
- 21:59Speaker 3: even Colleen Hoover, who's the author of the book that
- 22:01Speaker 3: the movie is based off of, she won't even speak
- 22:05Speaker 3: to him right now. That's a good m Yeah, And
- 22:08Speaker 3: if you know anything about the book and about the
- 22:10Speaker 3: premise of the book in the movie, it has a
- 22:12Speaker 3: lot to do with toxic environments. So like, yeah, really
- 22:19Speaker 3: not good stuff and sketchy stuff. Obviously, as it's unfold,
- 22:22Speaker 3: i'll give you more details. And a National Native and
- 22:25Speaker 3: Bandy Hall of Fame golfer has been named a vice
- 22:28Speaker 3: captain for the twenty twenty five Ryder Cup. This is
- 22:31Speaker 3: really cool. So the US Ryder Cup captain, Keegan Bradley,
- 22:35Speaker 3: has picked Brent Snedecker as his vice captain for the
- 22:38Speaker 3: next year's tournament. He is Vanderbilt's most decorated golfer and
- 22:43Speaker 3: a national Native, obviously making everybody back at home very
- 22:46Speaker 3: proud of him. So congrats to you. The twenty twenty
- 22:48Speaker 3: five Ryder Cup is happening in September in New York,
- 22:51Speaker 3: so obviously check it out and help support Ricky Sanchez.
- 22:54Speaker 3: And those are the three things you need to know.
- 22:56Speaker 1: One seven five of the River, Ricky, Zach and manow
- 22:59Speaker 1: In the Morning school district in Tennessee has canceled field
- 23:03Speaker 1: trips for all of the kids because of low test scores.
- 23:06Speaker 3: It's one of seven five of the River. Obviously, this
- 23:09Speaker 3: has everybody up and arms. All their parents are upset,
- 23:11Speaker 3: mostly because they never even told the parents. They told
- 23:14Speaker 3: them on like a social media post apparently, But the
- 23:16Speaker 3: fact that they took away everybody's rights to go on field.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Trips is pretty crazy.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Aggressive. Zach was already causing a problem in the studio
- 23:26Speaker 3: with his thought process.
- 23:27Speaker 5: No, I think it's a good idea. I think it's
- 23:29Speaker 5: like when you get in trouble as a child and
- 23:31Speaker 5: your mom is like, hey, you can't have a sleepover
- 23:32Speaker 5: because you messed up. Like then, I think that's the
- 23:34Speaker 5: same repercussions.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Well, sure, no, I understand consequences, but not for everybody.
- 23:39Speaker 5: Well everyone had a low test score.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Apparently you can't say everyone. I think it was that
- 23:44Speaker 3: the majority had low test so.
- 23:45Speaker 5: A majority, so I feel like it's a good idea.
- 23:48Speaker 5: There's consequences that you should be studying. You should not
- 23:51Speaker 5: be able to go out and have fun if you're
- 23:52Speaker 5: not doing well.
- 23:53Speaker 9: Some of the parents have kids, Yeah, well, some of
- 23:55Speaker 9: the parents are pointing out that some of these field
- 23:57Speaker 9: trips are meant to be educational as well, so you're you're.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Stripping them of that. If the whole emphasis here is education.
- 24:04Speaker 5: Educational is different on a field trip than it is
- 24:06Speaker 5: when you're trying to pass the test standardized testing. I
- 24:09Speaker 5: absolutely hate and the teachers have to like teach the
- 24:12Speaker 5: children to pass the test, and they can't.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Do that at the zoo, So of course it's very different.
- 24:16Speaker 3: But the idea is that a field trip isn't just
- 24:18Speaker 3: for fun. It's also supposed to be educational. It's supposed
- 24:21Speaker 3: to be part of the.
- 24:23Speaker 5: It's going to be nothing from the zoo on the test,
- 24:24Speaker 5: on this STANDARDI testing.
- 24:26Speaker 3: You don't know that.
- 24:26Speaker 5: I absolutely hate, like I hate that we have.
- 24:29Speaker 3: You have no idea that you can't teach somebody something
- 24:31Speaker 3: at the zoo that would be on standardized testing.
- 24:33Speaker 5: I just feel like they should stay in the classroom.
- 24:35Speaker 3: But as a parent, Kevin, would you be upset with
- 24:37Speaker 3: your school. Then if they just randomly said we're taking
- 24:40Speaker 3: field trips away, would you pull your kids? What would
- 24:42Speaker 3: you do?
- 24:42Speaker 1: I wouldn't pull my kids. No, that'd be extreme, I think,
- 24:44Speaker 1: but I would be upset. I don't think you can
- 24:47Speaker 1: punish the entire school based on you know, some of
- 24:51Speaker 1: the kids, some of the studentiality of me.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Who's teaching the kids to do well on.
- 24:55Speaker 1: These Sarah Sarah mount Juliet sentence a text. She said,
- 24:58Speaker 1: don't pour test scores reflect poorly and the school as
- 25:00Speaker 1: well as the students.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Right, Like the school should be taking some accountability here
- 25:04Speaker 3: as well.
- 25:04Speaker 5: That's why I blame the government. They don't pay the
- 25:06Speaker 5: teachers enough to teach them. I mean we all agree
- 25:09Speaker 5: with that, that is correct. Like the teachers already work
- 25:12Speaker 5: way too hard. They can only do so much, So
- 25:14Speaker 5: I blame the government at overall for not paying them enough.
- 25:17Speaker 2: That's a good way to end every archer.
- 25:19Speaker 5: Just pay the government, pay the teachers more, and they
- 25:22Speaker 5: will maybe pass the test better because I'll have more
- 25:25Speaker 5: you dedication and want to be there.
- 25:27Speaker 3: If you have some thoughts, call us right now six one, five,
- 25:30Speaker 3: seven through seven nine. We want to hear what you
- 25:32Speaker 3: have to say about this is a good decision a
- 25:34Speaker 3: bad decision, thoughts.
- 25:36Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on the river.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Up a minute ago, asking how you feel about it.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Fayette County canceled field trips because of low test scores.
- 25:47Speaker 1: So they're canceling all the field trips for all the kids.
- 25:49Speaker 1: And we want to know where you stand on one
- 25:51Speaker 1: O seven five the river.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Casey in spring Hill. So I'm going to start off
- 25:54Speaker 3: by just asking do you have kids, Casey?
- 25:56Speaker 7: I have five, bless you.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Okay, So with five kids, how do you feel as
- 26:02Speaker 3: a mom? Would you be happy about this? If this
- 26:04Speaker 3: happened to your kids.
- 26:05Speaker 6: I would be angry.
- 26:07Speaker 7: Yeah, there's other ways. Taking guests is hard. You have
- 26:10Speaker 7: really great grades, but be a terrible test paper. To
- 26:13Speaker 7: take away everybody, whether it's educational field trips, fun field trip,
- 26:18Speaker 7: it doesn't matter to take it away because the parents
- 26:21Speaker 7: pay for those.
- 26:22Speaker 3: For most field trips, parents pay for the right solid point.
- 26:25Speaker 7: That's not fair. There's other ways to punish kids then
- 26:28Speaker 7: take away pep rallies, give them silent lunches, things like that.
- 26:32Speaker 3: But oh my god, a silent lunch when it drove
- 26:34Speaker 3: me nuts.
- 26:36Speaker 2: That's a good one.
- 26:37Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean it's not fun, but it takes things
- 26:40Speaker 7: like I mean, when you lower morale, people are going
- 26:42Speaker 7: to do that, right regardless.
- 26:44Speaker 3: It's hard for kids to go to school as it
- 26:46Speaker 3: is and to get through the day some days, and
- 26:48Speaker 3: like there's a lot that they have to worry about already.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Why not just let them have some fun.
- 26:52Speaker 5: I'm just gonna rebutt you real quick, Casey, because a
- 26:54Speaker 5: silent lunch and taken away pep Riley's is still punishing
- 26:58Speaker 5: every single one in the school. So that doesn't help.
- 27:00Speaker 7: But it's taken away things that are not necessary. Where
- 27:03Speaker 7: it's field trips and things. I feel like that's a
- 27:05Speaker 7: necessary part of.
- 27:06Speaker 2: It, and it's a lesser consequence. It's not as extreme
- 27:09Speaker 2: as no field and.
- 27:10Speaker 5: It may be a relief for some parents that can't
- 27:12Speaker 5: afford for the children to go and field trips.
- 27:14Speaker 7: Well they have, they have dollars that you can fill out.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Yes, there are ways to work around that.
- 27:19Speaker 5: We'll see.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Yeah, Zach just likes to argue.
- 27:21Speaker 3: We appreciate you calling in and talking to us this morning.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Hey guys too.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Here's my example of a Zach argument.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Okay, well, some of those kids might be allergic to horses,
- 27:31Speaker 1: so they can't go to the zoos.
- 27:32Speaker 2: They might be a good thing.
- 27:34Speaker 5: It is a good thing.
- 27:35Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 27:40Speaker 3: If you don't know about Ronda the Roundabout in Clarksville,
- 27:43Speaker 3: you need to know about what's going on. And today's
- 27:46Speaker 3: Daly double tap on one oh seven five of the
- 27:47Speaker 3: River kind of breaks it down for you.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Okay, So do people like round to the Roundabout or no?
- 27:52Speaker 3: I think that we have a love for Ronda the
- 27:54Speaker 3: Roundabout because she's messy and she's drama and everything about
- 27:57Speaker 3: her is so wrong that it's so right.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 28:00Speaker 3: So that's what this is essentially proving to you in
- 28:03Speaker 3: this daily double tap.
- 28:04Speaker 10: I don't know what's funnier watching people race around Rond
- 28:07Speaker 10: of the Roundabout or the fact that she's on the
- 28:09Speaker 10: news and they've added scores. Also, somebody made little badges
- 28:13Speaker 10: that's pretty precious. The news is totally wrong though he
- 28:15Speaker 10: did five hundred laps. Actually, I think he's still going.
- 28:17Speaker 10: And there's officially a song about her on YouTube. Rana
- 28:19Speaker 10: the Roundabout, She's got her own, her own shingle. This
- 28:22Speaker 10: is all happened in like twenty four hours less than that. Right,
- 28:26Speaker 10: This is why I love Clarksville.
- 28:28Speaker 3: It happens so fast. But Ronda the Roundabout is a
- 28:30Speaker 3: roundabout in Clarksville that people just keep getting an accident
- 28:34Speaker 3: and they just can't figure it out. And it's huge.
- 28:36Speaker 3: It's a big roundabout. She's a big roundabout. So I
- 28:39Speaker 3: guess everybody's just very confused about her and she's just
- 28:42Speaker 3: causing so much issues.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Is that why she was named?
- 28:45Speaker 1: Because all of this drama was somebody, so they had
- 28:46Speaker 1: to give her a name, and as she did her name,
- 28:48Speaker 1: she's a viral sensation.
- 28:50Speaker 3: She is, indeed, and she's right. There is a song
- 28:52Speaker 3: about Ronda the Roundabout. I will post both that video
- 28:56Speaker 3: and the song video at one US up and by
- 28:57Speaker 3: the River on our Instagram page in the story because
- 29:00Speaker 3: it's just it's, like I said, so messed up that
- 29:03Speaker 3: it's so amazing.
- 29:04Speaker 2: The Internet is so weird sometimes.
- 29:06Speaker 4: I love this one O seven five of the River.
