- 0:42Speaker 3: Love it.
- 0:43Speaker 2: I got o winder tho'd like. So we're gonna get
- 0:45Speaker 2: to that compan I'm in just a minute. We're got
- 0:47Speaker 2: to talk to Matt Miller talking about the twenty twenty
- 0:50Speaker 2: four NFL draft, Caleb Williams, Drake May. Every quarterback is
- 0:55Speaker 2: awesome now apparently, which is true though. I like the
- 0:59Speaker 2: quarterback play is just good and and I allys helping
- 1:02Speaker 2: because these kids are staying in school longer. So it's
- 1:07Speaker 2: super cool to see that he already has his twenty
- 1:09Speaker 2: twenty four It's not a rough draft. That's funny. A
- 1:12Speaker 2: rough draft, a draft, rough draft that makes sense. God dang,
- 1:15Speaker 2: how do I not have something called the rough draft?
- 1:17Speaker 2: That's a draft? Wow, it's like my brand of four
- 1:21Speaker 2: twenty golf fre you thought more of that?
- 1:24Speaker 3: No?
- 1:25Speaker 4: For twenty wait, I didn't even think about the fore twenty.
- 1:29Speaker 2: That's what I said. Yeah, that was my brand name.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:31Speaker 2: But then I don't even smoke weed, and I was like,
- 1:33Speaker 2: this would be the perfect brand for like people that
- 1:35Speaker 2: love golf and smoke weed for twenty.
- 1:38Speaker 4: Fr are there a lot of those dudes? I don't know,
- 1:41Speaker 4: the weed smoking golfers.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Probably, Oh yeah, because people smoking. We just like normal
- 1:45Speaker 2: now because weed smoking everything. Yeah, okay, And I don't
- 1:49Speaker 2: even know if that brand exists for twenty, but I
- 1:53Speaker 2: thought of it and I was like, that's a good one.
- 1:55Speaker 2: I don't want to look it up because if it
- 1:56Speaker 2: does exist and be sad. So I don't want to
- 1:57Speaker 2: look it up now, Jody, look it up. No, But
- 1:59Speaker 2: I was I liked this exists. There was an event
- 2:02Speaker 2: like a four to twenty event four E. Yeah, but
- 2:05Speaker 2: there's no brand. There's no brand connected to it. That's
- 2:07Speaker 2: all I was found. Dude, Dude, that's why I'm gonna
- 2:10Speaker 2: start smoking. We just I can have the brand.
- 2:14Speaker 5: Yeah, I think I'm more excited for that.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Please God, I would, I would love it. It'd be
- 2:18Speaker 2: so awesome. I could relax. Can you imagine? You probably
- 2:22Speaker 2: love everything you don't do. Imagine me relaxing. It's not
- 2:25Speaker 2: even something crazy like imagine Just imagine me.
- 2:28Speaker 6: Imagine me enjoying life.
- 2:30Speaker 2: There are days where Mike and I will talk to
- 2:31Speaker 2: each other and go, have you had lunch today? It's
- 2:33Speaker 2: four o'clock pm. Nope, okay, we don't even go, well
- 2:37Speaker 2: should we eat? We just keep going. It's like I
- 2:39Speaker 2: live on a constant stress. I love it, or I
- 2:42Speaker 2: wouldn't do it. That don't feel bad for me. But
- 2:45Speaker 2: I wasn't. Yeah, no, don't. I'm not asking for that.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I'm just expressed. But four twenty man, yeah, man, hey,
- 2:51Speaker 2: hey watch this four there you go. I wonder if
- 2:55Speaker 2: you're any good at golf though, if you smoke? H yeah,
- 2:59Speaker 2: my friends are.
- 3:00Speaker 1: They're better.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Well, they're just good. I don't know if it makes
- 3:03Speaker 2: them better or not. I got you, Yeah, they're pretty good.
- 3:05Speaker 2: All right, let's get it. Let's get the tittle tattle.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Town stupid his name ever, the tittle tattle, let's kick up.
- 3:15Speaker 7: Which fan base will be more annoying this weekend if
- 3:18Speaker 7: they pull off an upset Miami versus Texas A and
- 3:20Speaker 7: M or Texas at Alabama.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Well, you have three annoying programs at are four though,
- 3:25Speaker 2: that's the weird thing. Which program do you think is
- 3:27Speaker 2: more annoying out of Miami and Texas A and.
- 3:28Speaker 6: M IF Or to say that they're back?
- 3:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, but I'm saying Alabama wins, They're not back.
- 3:33Speaker 2: They're They're just Alabama. They're always good.
- 3:36Speaker 6: But if Miami wins Miami.
- 3:38Speaker 2: I can see it, Texa A and M I can
- 3:39Speaker 2: see it, Texas I can see it. Are all three
- 3:41Speaker 2: of those in your mind part of that group? Or
- 3:43Speaker 2: did you have one of the other two?
- 3:45Speaker 6: No, so Miami or Texas?
- 3:47Speaker 2: Okay, so Texas A and M though to me is
- 3:48Speaker 2: the same. If they win, they're gonna be like, we're back.
- 3:52Speaker 2: We told you. It's funny that you didn't think about
- 3:55Speaker 2: Texas A and M in that line. I do because
- 3:56Speaker 2: I'm big SEC guy and I deal with Texas A
- 3:58Speaker 2: and M all the time.
- 4:00Speaker 6: But do they have like the whole phrase we're back?
- 4:02Speaker 2: No, they always talk about it. They're I think they
- 4:05Speaker 2: believe they're good. They cry always, they cry like little babies.
- 4:09Speaker 2: And remember, if I disrespect your program, it means I
- 4:11Speaker 2: respect you. Okay, Right, I hate them. They're like, I'm
- 4:14Speaker 2: n Aggie, I'm baby. We're we We spend the most
- 4:16Speaker 2: money on our players and we're awesome. We paid Jimbo
- 4:20Speaker 2: Fisher fifty seven million dollars just yesterday alone. It's like, God, dang,
- 4:25Speaker 2: then win a game. So of all of those, I'm
- 4:28Speaker 2: gonna rank them one, two and three. Al Right, most annoying,
- 4:31Speaker 2: most annoying, which I'm taking Alabama out. I love Alabama.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Alabama got so annoying to me that I just love
- 4:36Speaker 2: them again because I would get so annoyed by Bama fans.
- 4:40Speaker 2: But then they just start winning all the time, and
- 4:41Speaker 2: you're like, you know what you've gone. You turned into
- 4:43Speaker 2: such a villain that you're no hero again. So shout
- 4:45Speaker 2: out Bama fans. Love you Georgia now too. I'm jealous
- 4:49Speaker 2: of you. I love you, Dan. They're gonnafe over there. Yeah,
- 4:53Speaker 2: it must be nice. So I'm gonna go and number
- 4:57Speaker 2: one the most annoying fan base out of those. Yeah,
- 5:00Speaker 2: it's Texas for sure. Yeah, because they used to be good,
- 5:09Speaker 2: but they haven't been in a long time. Like occasionally
- 5:12Speaker 2: they sniff it a little bit, but not since Vince Young.
- 5:16Speaker 2: But they you would think they won a national championship
- 5:18Speaker 2: every thirdy year. Colt McCoy, they won national championship.
- 5:22Speaker 6: Yeah, they got blown out because he got hurt.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Yeah, but they didn't when to ask. But you would
- 5:25Speaker 2: think because of the recruiting classes that they have, the
- 5:29Speaker 2: money they spend, the coaches they go through, that there's
- 5:32Speaker 2: some standard that they have this expectation of and when
- 5:36Speaker 2: they don't meet it, no, nobody's meeting it. They just
- 5:38Speaker 2: one to the next, on to the next. Texas is
- 5:42Speaker 2: the most annoying fan base ever. I'm very jealous of them,
- 5:44Speaker 2: by the way, and they got awesome facilities. They do
- 5:47Speaker 2: it right, man, it's awesome. Number two is Texas A
- 5:52Speaker 2: and m And maybe just because I have to hear them,
- 5:55Speaker 2: maybe if I lived down and had to hear about
- 5:57Speaker 2: Miami all the time, it'd be different from me. I
- 6:00Speaker 2: think proximity is probably a big part of this. Where
- 6:02Speaker 2: I lived in Austin for twelve years, so I'm gonna
- 6:06Speaker 2: go Texas, Texas A and M and Miami three programs
- 6:08Speaker 2: that have a lot of history and are really cool
- 6:10Speaker 2: and I wish that I had the history of winning
- 6:13Speaker 2: like they do, but hate them all because I'm not them.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I don't really know the Miami fan base.
- 6:18Speaker 7: I think that they've kind of accepted more recently that
- 6:21Speaker 7: maybe we're just now.
- 6:22Speaker 2: They keep coming back, like no matter the coaches, christ
- 6:24Speaker 2: of ball, We're back now, bye bye. Every new coach
- 6:27Speaker 2: they get, it's like Miami's back. The u of them
- 6:32Speaker 2: is that what they said, you mem then you because
- 6:36Speaker 2: the eighties Jimmy Johnson era, we weren't really understanding it then,
- 6:43Speaker 2: but we can look back at it. But the eighties
- 6:45Speaker 2: and then even when they had those awesome freaking teams
- 6:49Speaker 2: with like they had, like Jason Taylor they had, and
- 6:53Speaker 2: we can go through like not nine different first round
- 6:57Speaker 2: NFL draft picks at once. I'm thinking of Jason Taylor,
- 7:01Speaker 2: right like Shon Taylor, Sean Taylor, thank you, I know mother, Yes,
- 7:05Speaker 2: Jason Taylor was a dolphin though. Yeah miamime my god,
- 7:11Speaker 2: yes that's true. Okay, So I'm gonna go Texas, A
- 7:14Speaker 2: and M and Miami, And I will also say this,
- 7:17Speaker 2: none of them are back all right, no matter.
- 7:19Speaker 7: Okay, with Clemson's ugly loss the other night, are the
- 7:22Speaker 7: tar Heels the only real contender for the Seminoles in
- 7:25Speaker 7: the A c C.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Clemson'll be fine. Remember last year they had the worst
- 7:29Speaker 2: season ever. I think they lost two games. They're not
- 7:31Speaker 2: gonna win national championship and that's the standard they expect now.
- 7:34Speaker 2: But no, Clemson's still going to be troublesome. Remember they
- 7:39Speaker 2: got a new quarterback the club nick the Kids. He's
- 7:41Speaker 2: really good. But Clemson is not the Clemson of five
- 7:46Speaker 2: years ago. However, They're still gonna win ten games pretty
- 7:52Speaker 2: much every year. So I think Clemson still probably wins
- 7:57Speaker 2: the ACC. And that's a weird thing to say after
- 8:00Speaker 2: they just got beat by Duke so handily. But I
- 8:02Speaker 2: just look at history and say, well, we've been through
- 8:05Speaker 2: this before and they've still really played well. I'm going
- 8:07Speaker 2: to give them benefit.
- 8:08Speaker 6: The doubt really over Florida State.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Yeah, or State does look good. I watched Florida State
- 8:14Speaker 2: and Oklahoma even in the bowl game last year. They
- 8:16Speaker 2: do look good. The Florida State game though, to me,
- 8:20Speaker 2: remember we saw them beat LSU last year too, and
- 8:24Speaker 2: it was two teams that got better as the season
- 8:26Speaker 2: went along. And I don't know that I believe Florida
- 8:30Speaker 2: State's back.
- 8:32Speaker 6: I know another Florida team.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I know they're back. All right? What else?
- 8:37Speaker 7: The first NFL Sunday kicks off this weekend. Which game
- 8:39Speaker 7: are you most excited for? Oh, it's called All All
- 8:43Speaker 7: dot Com? What about the first All dot Com?
- 8:46Speaker 3: Well?
- 8:46Speaker 2: The Thursday eight one? Yeah, Mike, when does this air?
- 8:51Speaker 2: You mean the one last night? The one last night game?
- 8:53Speaker 2: How exciting? Was was crazy when those those life sized
- 8:56Speaker 2: ants crawled onto the field?
- 8:58Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 8:58Speaker 2: I mean, who saw that coming? I mean, we take
- 9:00Speaker 2: this right before the game. I don't know if this
- 9:02Speaker 2: is going up this afternoon or tomorrow Friday, but right
- 9:05Speaker 2: now it's Friday. Yeah, I'm gonna go. I'm excited. The
- 9:10Speaker 2: word's not excited. I'm intrigued by the Browns because they
- 9:15Speaker 2: should be good. They don't really have a weak situation
- 9:19Speaker 2: on their team offensively or defensively, one that you look
- 9:22Speaker 2: at as their vulnerability. Their offensive line is good, top
- 9:27Speaker 2: five seven offensive line. Mariy Cooper's good. They got receivers,
- 9:30Speaker 2: Deshaun Watson's supposed to be good, Nick Chubbs awesome. Their
- 9:35Speaker 2: defensive line like they have it everywhere. The problem is
- 9:37Speaker 2: they're Cleveland. And the other problem is is Deshaun Watson
- 9:41Speaker 2: still awesome. You weren't really gonna expect him to come
- 9:44Speaker 2: in last year through a suspension and just set the
- 9:46Speaker 2: roll on fire. But he didn't. He also didn't. It
- 9:48Speaker 2: was not good. But he's supposed to be really good
- 9:53Speaker 2: and according to Eddie, a really good guy. Yeah Deshaun Watson.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Yeah, man, I mean that's what they say. He's really
- 9:58Speaker 4: turned things around. It's bad dude for a little bit,
- 10:01Speaker 4: but he's good now.
- 10:02Speaker 3: I'm just kidding.
- 10:03Speaker 2: And he didn't say it's a really good guy. I like, yeah, yeah,
- 10:08Speaker 2: I think he's changed things around.
- 10:09Speaker 6: Yeah him sure.
- 10:13Speaker 2: That That Brown's Bengals game is very interesting to also
- 10:16Speaker 2: see Joe Burrow to see if he's healthy or how
- 10:20Speaker 2: healthy he is. Forty nine and Steelers are gonna be good.
- 10:23Speaker 2: I think the Steelers. I think Pickings big year this year.
- 10:26Speaker 2: I think Pickett plays with two gloves and that's weird.
- 10:29Speaker 2: He throws the ball with gloves out of the hands. Yeah,
- 10:32Speaker 2: that's weird. I think his hands are so small he
- 10:34Speaker 2: would uses that extra layer to make it better grip
- 10:37Speaker 2: and just larger hands. If it's patting in there, it's
- 10:41Speaker 2: like mind to wear when I was like fifth to fifteen,
- 10:44Speaker 2: that game's good Packers and Bears. I'm ready to say
- 10:47Speaker 2: if Fields really steps up, he's got a number one
- 10:49Speaker 2: receiver now and DJ Moore like he played so good
- 10:52Speaker 2: the last eight games of the year last year with
- 10:53Speaker 2: the Bears, and also Jordan Love with the Packers. To
- 10:57Speaker 2: what quarter will he get his first concussion? Is there
- 11:01Speaker 2: an over under on that? It's just like if he
- 11:03Speaker 2: even gets hit halfway, he's gonna have to come out
- 11:04Speaker 2: of the game. Yeah, the Chargers. Justin Herbert, It's like,
- 11:08Speaker 2: I get it. He's supposed to be good, but he's
- 11:10Speaker 2: never done anything. Every time how he's elite. He's on
- 11:12Speaker 2: this elite level. But I used to believe him, but
- 11:15Speaker 2: now he's never done. He just he was hurt last year.
- 11:17Speaker 2: He played through it, played through it, okay, great, but
- 11:20Speaker 2: he didn't show me he was elite. I know he is,
- 11:22Speaker 2: because the people are smarter than me say that, but okay,
- 11:25Speaker 2: it's show it. Then. Is this the year he shows it?
- 11:29Speaker 2: The cowboys are gonna be really freaking good. Yeah, And
- 11:32Speaker 2: I'm not a cowboy. I'm not a Cowboy fan, but
- 11:34Speaker 2: they're gonna be good Cowboys, I know I am. And
- 11:36Speaker 2: the Giants are gonna be good. Dable second year with
- 11:39Speaker 2: that offense and Daniel Jones, all those are exciting to me. So,
- 11:43Speaker 2: like I said, all dot Com, Aaron Rodgers, Oh yeah,
- 11:46Speaker 2: I can't get enough of that. Yes, let's that's gonna
- 11:48Speaker 2: be exciting. Yeah, Monday, that's Monday night game. That's that's tomorrow,
- 11:53Speaker 2: Saturday in the Sunday than Monday. Yeah because tomorrow. No, Yeah,
- 11:56Speaker 2: because today's Friday.
- 11:59Speaker 7: And finally one, which ricky quarterback do you think will
- 12:02Speaker 7: have the best day in his first start? Bryce Young
- 12:04Speaker 7: at the Falcons, Anthony Richardson versus Jags or C J.
- 12:08Speaker 7: Stroud at the Ravens.
- 12:13Speaker 2: The Bryce Young situation is scary because of offensive line.
- 12:16Speaker 2: This is not good. I would pick anybody against the Falcons, honestly,
- 12:22Speaker 2: but that offensive line. They gave him no time in
- 12:26Speaker 2: any of these preseason games. Anthony Richard's gonna be interesting
- 12:30Speaker 2: because I think this dude is gonna put up some
- 12:32Speaker 2: crazy games but also make some bone. I think he's
- 12:35Speaker 2: gonna be a really good fantasy quarterback, but not the
- 12:37Speaker 2: greatest normal quarterback. Because he's gonna make a couple minus
- 12:40Speaker 2: tours are gonna cost him games like interceptions minus two
- 12:43Speaker 2: points or to fumble or a But I think he's
- 12:46Speaker 2: gonna get crazy fantasy points. But I just don't think
- 12:48Speaker 2: he's going to be able to win games with that
- 12:53Speaker 2: team as well. Not him for sure, but also it's
- 12:55Speaker 2: not like he's surrounded by a bunch of weapons. Jhon
- 12:57Speaker 2: Taylor's ain't playing right c J. Stroud. I don't know.
- 13:00Speaker 2: I don't have a feel on that. Houston sucks and
- 13:05Speaker 2: he just looks like a slow statue quarterback with a
- 13:09Speaker 2: really good arm. And how effective is that gonna be
- 13:11Speaker 2: in an offense where that offense is really built for
- 13:14Speaker 2: anything to succeed right now, much less a quarterback that's
- 13:18Speaker 2: not really making plays for himself as well. They can
- 13:21Speaker 2: do the extra not that he always will need to,
- 13:24Speaker 2: but when you have a bad offensive line, it's like
- 13:25Speaker 2: Barry Sanders we used to play for Detroit. You know
- 13:28Speaker 2: why I have so many freaking highlight videos of him
- 13:30Speaker 2: be doing crazy things because he had to do crazy things.
- 13:32Speaker 2: It broke eight tackles, Yeah, and that was to get
- 13:34Speaker 2: three yards. So I'm gonna I'm probably gonna go. Bryce
- 13:38Speaker 2: Young gets the Falcon only because it's the Falcons. That's
- 13:40Speaker 2: the only reason. But I cannot wait. I cannot wait.
- 13:45Speaker 2: I cannot wait to have a kick cat bar. Oh man,
- 13:47Speaker 2: it's gonna be good.
- 13:48Speaker 3: All right.
- 13:48Speaker 2: That's tittle tattle.
- 13:51Speaker 3: The tittle Tattle.
- 13:55Speaker 2: A reminder of twenty five whistles presented by Draft King
- 13:57Speaker 2: sports Book, an official sports betting partner of the NFL.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Download the DraftKings app and use the code Bobby sports
- 14:02Speaker 2: to get in on the action. Are you ready?
- 14:05Speaker 3: Let's go?
- 14:07Speaker 2: More smiles, all smiles, no frowns. Come on, baby, A
- 14:12Speaker 2: s n F sounds dirty. And that's a long one, asen,
- 14:18Speaker 2: it's a long acronym. All smiles, no frowns. Am sounds bad.
- 14:23Speaker 2: We're gonna go with it. It's a for gamer four
- 14:26Speaker 2: game parley, four game party, four game parlay. We're gonna
- 14:30Speaker 2: have a four game parley.
- 14:32Speaker 6: Other one.
- 14:33Speaker 2: All money lines, Notre Dame money line at North Carolina State. Yeah,
- 14:39Speaker 2: like that Oklahoma money line at SMU versus s MU. Yeah. Now, listen,
- 14:47Speaker 2: I'm picking Auburn.
- 14:49Speaker 6: What Mike can't say that?
- 14:51Speaker 2: What? Oh that's what I said?
- 14:54Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 14:54Speaker 2: Okay, Well we beat it. Yeah, so you didn't say anything. No, Hey,
- 14:58Speaker 2: free smiles. Gotta say that, Mike, I legally yeah, okay,
- 15:02Speaker 2: you got free free smiles. My attorney might d's over there.
- 15:07Speaker 2: You can't say. So. We got Notre Dame money line
- 15:10Speaker 2: North Corona State, Oklahoma money line versus s m U.
- 15:13Speaker 2: This one's a little I get it's a little risky.
- 15:15Speaker 2: You need a risky one in there. Oh, I got
- 15:17Speaker 2: a couple. Oh boy, I was hoping it was just one.
- 15:20Speaker 2: The Hugh freezes at Auburn. The Hugh freezes Auburn Tigers
- 15:26Speaker 2: at Cow. Now not the craziest of crazy, but this
- 15:30Speaker 2: is a whole new Auburn team. I'm taking that. And
- 15:33Speaker 2: then finally the craziest of them all. Two top twenty
- 15:37Speaker 2: five teams playing each other, two lanes, getting a lot
- 15:41Speaker 2: of love. But Ole Miss is gonna lay the smackish
- 15:45Speaker 2: downish on the headish. So we got Notre Dame, Ole Miss,
- 15:48Speaker 2: Oklahoma and Auburn. Those are my four four game parlay,
- 15:51Speaker 2: four game parlay, four game parley. Okay, if you want
- 15:56Speaker 2: to take twenty five bustles parlay, check out Dratking Sports book.

- 16:11Speaker 2: and y four six seven three six nine s show
- 16:13Speaker 2: notes for full details.
- 16:14Speaker 4: You're at plus one sixty. Yeah sure, am boom. So
- 16:17Speaker 4: let's drop some smiles on there to get more smiles.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel I like it me too.
- 16:23Speaker 3: That's it.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Thank you. We're gonna go talk to Matt Miller. Now,
- 16:26Speaker 2: Matt Miller, what's up, buddy?
- 16:28Speaker 8: Not much, man, thanks for having me on. I'm super
- 16:30Speaker 8: excited to this.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Man.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Me, I'm excited too because somebody that's already dialed into
- 16:34Speaker 2: the twenty twenty four mock like that's where my head
- 16:37Speaker 2: is anyway. But I don't have the knowledge that you do.
- 16:39Speaker 2: And I'm watching all these times I.
- 16:41Speaker 8: Exist, man, that's the whole the whole point of my
- 16:43Speaker 8: job is for that.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I was so excited to talk to you because this
- 16:46Speaker 2: past week, you know, as we go into it's week two,
- 16:49Speaker 2: but week zero, so week there, you get it. But
- 16:52Speaker 2: I'm watching like Riley Leonard play at Duke and you know,
- 16:55Speaker 2: they're they're beating the crap at a Clemson and I'm like,
- 16:58Speaker 2: dang Ryley Leondard is such a baller, and I really
- 17:00Speaker 2: hadn't heard his name a lot as in all the
- 17:02Speaker 2: quarterbacks that Drake May is the Caleb Williams, and then
- 17:05Speaker 2: it's I watched Michael Pennix junior, who just got as
- 17:08Speaker 2: a canon. I believe he's left handed. He's left handed, right, yeah,
- 17:10Speaker 2: and I'm watching him out. There are so many quarterbacks,
- 17:14Speaker 2: it feels like more than ever before that are elite
- 17:17Speaker 2: now as we look at the draft next year, Am
- 17:19Speaker 2: I right about that? Are a lot of these guys
- 17:21Speaker 2: are gonna end up coming out? Like how do you
- 17:22Speaker 2: see all these quarterbacks shaping up?
- 17:24Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 17:24Speaker 8: I think you're right about that for sure, and it
- 17:26Speaker 8: is your right to notice. It's a deep class. There's
- 17:28Speaker 8: a lot of reasons for that. Some of it is,
- 17:30Speaker 8: you know, guys like Michael Pennox, who didn't enter the
- 17:33Speaker 8: NFL draft last year decided to go back to school.
- 17:35Speaker 8: Some of it is that we have, you know, the
- 17:37Speaker 8: beauty of Caleb Williams and Drake May, Drake Sitt North Carolina,
- 17:40Speaker 8: Caleb's at USC who we saw last year breakout. But
- 17:44Speaker 8: it's just a super deep class, and I think it's
- 17:47Speaker 8: seven on seven has these guys playing a high level
- 17:49Speaker 8: quarterback a lot earlier. They're not just playing ten games
- 17:52Speaker 8: of high school football like we all did. They're playing
- 17:54Speaker 8: football year round.
- 17:55Speaker 2: That helme.
- 17:55Speaker 8: So it is a really deep group, and if they
- 17:58Speaker 8: all enter, we could go in to like a five
- 18:00Speaker 8: hour conversation about nil and how that has changed the
- 18:03Speaker 8: landscape of college football in the NFL Draft. But should
- 18:06Speaker 8: these guys all enter, we're looking at really a very
- 18:09Speaker 8: very deep group coming off what was last year a
- 18:11Speaker 8: very deep group. You know, we saw three in the
- 18:13Speaker 8: first round, but round two, round three, round four, we're
- 18:15Speaker 8: seeing a lot of those guys make NFL rosters and
- 18:18Speaker 8: be counted on as you know, high level backups, maybe
- 18:20Speaker 8: even quarterback of the future type.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Guys are there.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Six or seven though that could go in the first
- 18:25Speaker 2: round next year. It just seems like this class is
- 18:27Speaker 2: so there's just so much more quality as well.
- 18:32Speaker 8: Yeah, right now it looks that way. I wouldn't say
- 18:34Speaker 8: six or seven because like we're talking a record setting
- 18:36Speaker 8: when we get to six or seven. It is interesting
- 18:39Speaker 8: to see, like you said, whatever you want to call it,
- 18:41Speaker 8: week two, week three, whatever we are in right now,
- 18:43Speaker 8: there's so many guys that came out and played at
- 18:45Speaker 8: a high level right off the bat, and so now
- 18:47Speaker 8: like my job is to track them, Let's watch over
- 18:50Speaker 8: the next ten weeks of football, twelve weeks of football
- 18:53Speaker 8: and kind of see what happens, because there were guys
- 18:55Speaker 8: who also maybe didn't perform super great in their first
- 18:58Speaker 8: two games that still have a chance to ride back
- 19:01Speaker 8: up that ladder. You mentioned Riley Leonard, who had, you know,
- 19:03Speaker 8: a standout game Monday night, Labor Day, everybody's watching, and
- 19:07Speaker 8: she didn't throw the ball that well. If you look
- 19:09Speaker 8: at his stat line, he was like fifty percent completion percentage.
- 19:12Speaker 9: It's what he did with his.
- 19:13Speaker 8: Legs, it's what he did with that forty four yard
- 19:15Speaker 8: touchdown run.
- 19:16Speaker 9: Those are kind of the things that you remember.
- 19:18Speaker 8: But it'll be watching that progress of guys like that
- 19:21Speaker 8: and see how they climb the ladder. Who can be
- 19:23Speaker 8: the player that kind of emerges as that quarterback number
- 19:26Speaker 8: three after Caleb Williams and Drake May.
- 19:29Speaker 9: Is it Riley Leonard?
- 19:30Speaker 8: Who I know, my guy mel Kaiper Junior loves is
- 19:32Speaker 8: it someone like Shuder Sanders at Colorado who his first
- 19:35Speaker 8: game at power five he threw for over five hundred
- 19:37Speaker 8: yards and looked very impressive. So there's a lot of
- 19:40Speaker 8: names out there that we'll have to keep track of.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Now with Duke too. You know, Riley's like six ' four, right,
- 19:45Speaker 2: I mean, and again you say fifty percent, and he
- 19:47Speaker 2: didn't have to throw a whole lot. But just looking
- 19:49Speaker 2: at him, he's a He's a big old boy and
- 19:52Speaker 2: also able to play quarterback where it wasn't like impeding
- 19:56Speaker 2: him that he was so big. He just looked like
- 19:58Speaker 2: a naturally six four or you know, an NFL type body.
- 20:03Speaker 9: Oh, you're right.
- 20:03Speaker 8: I actually had to look. I text a friend of
- 20:05Speaker 8: mine and was like, how big is he? Because I
- 20:07Speaker 8: you know, a million things going on once and he's compact.
- 20:10Speaker 8: So you kind of look at him and you think
- 20:12Speaker 8: sixty one sixty two, especially for how well he moves.
- 20:15Speaker 8: Then you realize he's sixty.
- 20:16Speaker 9: Four to two twelve.
- 20:17Speaker 8: You see the video of him doing three sixty dunks
- 20:19Speaker 8: in high school as a basketball player, and then to
- 20:22Speaker 8: have some of the ability as a runner that he
- 20:24Speaker 8: has at Duke This isn't a small guy who's frail and.
- 20:27Speaker 9: Has opened himself up the big hits either.
- 20:29Speaker 8: I mean, at two twelve, he's able to sort some
- 20:31Speaker 8: contact and deliver some contact. So those are things that
- 20:34Speaker 8: you can get really excited about. Is that athletics ceiling
- 20:37Speaker 8: that he has? You know, Duke obviously has had some
- 20:39Speaker 8: good quarterbacks in the past, Daniel Jones being one of
- 20:42Speaker 8: those who was also a very good runner as well
- 20:44Speaker 8: as thrower. I think you can see a ceiling for
- 20:46Speaker 8: Riley Leonard. As much as I don't like to compare
- 20:49Speaker 8: players from college to college, you can kind of see
- 20:51Speaker 8: a ceiling of what type of player he could become.
- 20:53Speaker 2: You mentioned mission Scheter Sanders. Was he already you know,
- 20:58Speaker 2: on the list of these this guy could possibly a
- 21:00Speaker 2: top three or four round quarterback. But now you go,
- 21:03Speaker 2: maybe a ceiling is higher than we initially thought.
- 21:05Speaker 9: I'll tell you this.
- 21:06Speaker 8: I work with NFL scouts, agents, college coaches, you name it,
- 21:11Speaker 8: to get a list over the summer of players to scout,
- 21:15Speaker 8: and that list is like fifteen hundred players long sureder.
- 21:18Speaker 8: Sanders was not on that list. Some of that is
- 21:21Speaker 8: because he's a junior, and so you don't know if
- 21:23Speaker 8: he's going to enter the draft after this year or not,
- 21:25Speaker 8: So there's some you know, a little.
- 21:27Speaker 9: Bit of ambiguity there.
- 21:28Speaker 8: But even watching him play at Jackson State last year,
- 21:31Speaker 8: it was like, gosh, she was dominant. But you always
- 21:34Speaker 8: have that question of you know, he is was he
- 21:36Speaker 8: a big fish in a little pond At Jackson State,
- 21:38Speaker 8: you're not necessarily competing against other four and five star
- 21:42Speaker 8: type players. When you go to Colorado TCU, you're playing
- 21:45Speaker 8: against four and five star players, three four or five star.
- 21:48Speaker 8: To have that debut performance absolutely puts him on the
- 21:52Speaker 8: map as a draft prospect, as a Heisman candidate. I mean,
- 21:55Speaker 8: he's the name that you're getting asked about the most
- 21:58Speaker 8: this week as an NFL Hey what about what about
- 22:01Speaker 8: that Colorado quarterback who looked really good throwing for over
- 22:04Speaker 8: five hundred yards of his debut. You know, it doesn't
- 22:07Speaker 8: help be a coach prime Son because you know he's
- 22:09Speaker 8: going to get some good pr that way.
- 22:10Speaker 2: He's also Louis Vaton luggage if you remember correctly. You
- 22:14Speaker 2: know coach Prian's bringing the luggage and it's Louisvuitton, and
- 22:17Speaker 2: you know that was part of it. Talking about Spencer Rattler.
- 22:20Speaker 2: We spent some time with Shane Biemer over in Columbia,
- 22:23Speaker 2: South Carolina a few weeks ago, just hanging out, learning
- 22:26Speaker 2: about the program, and I'd aske him about his offensive line,
- 22:28Speaker 2: and that seemed to be a big question at least
- 22:30Speaker 2: from outside in because otherwise South Carolina I great year
- 22:34Speaker 2: last year, Rattler was coming back. But then I you know,
- 22:36Speaker 2: I watched him lose that game to North Carolina and
- 22:39Speaker 2: their offensive line struggled because Rattler could throw the ball,
- 22:43Speaker 2: no doubt about it. Yeah, And being someone who follows
- 22:47Speaker 2: Oklahoma because of my wife, and I'm big Southeast Conference
- 22:49Speaker 2: guy because Arkansas, So I followed Spencer Ratler the whole time,
- 22:53Speaker 2: the whole saga, like what, I've never seen a guy
- 22:56Speaker 2: that was the favorite for the Heisman three. You know,
- 22:59Speaker 2: then Williams takes over for him, goes away, come back
- 23:03Speaker 2: to South Carolina, has a shot, stays like what even
- 23:06Speaker 2: is his ceiling? What even is his floor at this point?
- 23:09Speaker 2: Because he looks he throws so well, but it's just
- 23:12Speaker 2: not happening yet for him. Yeah.
- 23:13Speaker 8: On on potential, on traits, you look at the arm strength,
- 23:17Speaker 8: the ability to make things happen, and we call off
- 23:19Speaker 8: platform when a guy's kind of running around back there,
- 23:22Speaker 8: creating on his own. When you think of like a
- 23:24Speaker 8: Patrick Mahomes, or go back to even a Johnny Manziel
- 23:26Speaker 8: in college, somebody that's just able to create.
- 23:29Speaker 9: He does all that really well.
- 23:30Speaker 8: Where he struggles is when you get into that structure,
- 23:32Speaker 8: the framework of the offensive one two three, throw the ball,
- 23:36Speaker 8: one two three, four five throw the ball. That's not
- 23:37Speaker 8: where he's at his best. You know, he has a
- 23:39Speaker 8: little bit of a shorter guy to struggle to see
- 23:41Speaker 8: over the line a little bit. But the arm strength
- 23:43Speaker 8: and the creativity makes me think, let's get him somewhere
- 23:46Speaker 8: where he can be developed. That last year he ended
- 23:49Speaker 8: so well the last two games last year, you thought,
- 23:52Speaker 8: this guy's really rehabilitating his draft stock.
- 23:55Speaker 9: Let's see what he can do.
- 23:56Speaker 8: Come out against the North Carolina defense that really had
- 23:58Speaker 8: their way with them. And you're right, Bobby, I'm a
- 24:00Speaker 8: Texas fan. I'm glad we got deep into the interview
- 24:02Speaker 8: before I.
- 24:03Speaker 9: Told you that.
- 24:03Speaker 8: But watching him come in at halftime and Caleb Williams
- 24:07Speaker 8: comes in at halftime to replace Spencer, you got the
- 24:10Speaker 8: ou fans channing we want Caleb at halftime. Here he comes,
- 24:14Speaker 8: and that story has written itself now. But it's been
- 24:18Speaker 8: a tough rope for Spencer Rattler, and I think everybody
- 24:20Speaker 8: was hoping that this year would be kind of a
- 24:22Speaker 8: redemption tour for him a little bit, because he has,
- 24:25Speaker 8: you know, kind of got pushed out and had a
- 24:27Speaker 8: tough go of it. He may have stayed at OU
- 24:29Speaker 8: had we known that Lincoln was going to leave and
- 24:32Speaker 8: that Caleb was going to follow him.
- 24:33Speaker 9: I mean, it's really been an interesting situation.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Would he be again, this is all speculation, but you're
- 24:38Speaker 2: the guy I want to talk to about speculation because
- 24:40Speaker 2: I trust your speculation. But would he be a top four,
- 24:44Speaker 2: top four rounds pick right now?
- 24:46Speaker 8: I would say no, because, like what you and I
- 24:48Speaker 8: were talking about earlier, how deep this year's classes. You know,
- 24:52Speaker 8: traditionally we don't see that many quarterbacks drafted. You think
- 24:55Speaker 8: about supply and demand. Every team needs a quarterback, right
- 24:58Speaker 8: it feels like except for like the Chiefs and the
- 25:00Speaker 8: Angles to Bills, the Eagles, but most teams carry two quarterbacks.
- 25:03Speaker 8: We're seeing that right now. So there's really room for
- 25:06Speaker 8: about sixty four quarterbacks in the NFL, And so you're
- 25:09Speaker 8: not going to bring in twenty new ones every draft class.
- 25:11Speaker 8: I think twelve to thirteen is about normal in terms
- 25:14Speaker 8: of the entire draft. So for Spencer to jump a
- 25:17Speaker 8: guy like we talked about Riley Leonard to jump up
- 25:19Speaker 8: a Bownecks at Oregon or a Michael Pinnox at Washington,
- 25:23Speaker 8: Michael Pratt at Tulane doesn't seem very likely at this point.
- 25:26Speaker 9: But we've still got twelve games.
- 25:28Speaker 8: Hopefully we'll see him in an All Star game, whether
- 25:30Speaker 8: that be the Shrine Game or the Senior Bowl after
- 25:32Speaker 8: the year where he can really help improve that draft stock.
- 25:35Speaker 2: We do jump conclusions. I mean we have. We had
- 25:38Speaker 2: one one week, Matt, and I'm like, it's over number two.
- 25:40Speaker 2: I mean, that's what we do, that's what we're pought.
- 25:43Speaker 2: So as far as Marvin Harrison junior Ohio State has
- 25:48Speaker 2: year after year, they're just pumping out elite receivers, right,
- 25:52Speaker 2: elite receivers one after the other. And he played with
- 25:54Speaker 2: a lot of those guys. He played with those you
- 25:55Speaker 2: know a lot of the guys that are that are
- 25:57Speaker 2: in the NFL now, So is he as elite as
- 26:03Speaker 2: he is in your draft? I know you have him
- 26:04Speaker 2: going number two to Arizona, but that's because they probably
- 26:07Speaker 2: also have the number one pick, maybe, meaning right would right?
- 26:10Speaker 2: Would he going as a top three pick to another
- 26:13Speaker 2: a different team? Or is it because if Arizona does
- 26:15Speaker 2: get that pick from Houston and their own pick that
- 26:18Speaker 2: they're going to pick based on need, is he going
- 26:20Speaker 2: to have to be a top three player by himself? Anyway?
- 26:22Speaker 9: Yeah, he's good enough.
- 26:23Speaker 8: He's my number two ranked player, and I've talked to
- 26:25Speaker 8: teams who say he's the number one ranked player in
- 26:27Speaker 8: this draft class.
- 26:28Speaker 9: He's so special.
- 26:29Speaker 8: Everything he does he makes it look easy and it's
- 26:32Speaker 8: actually really hard. You know, change a direction the way
- 26:34Speaker 8: he tracks the ball. To be six foot four, two
- 26:37Speaker 8: hundred and fifteen pounds and to be able to adjust
- 26:39Speaker 8: his body the way he does, whether it's you know,
- 26:41Speaker 8: going up to grab a ball or getting low to
- 26:43Speaker 8: catch something, it is truly phenomenal. And I think we'll
- 26:46Speaker 8: probably see a dip in production this year because they're
- 26:48Speaker 8: breaking in a.
- 26:49Speaker 9: New quarterback and cal McCord.
- 26:50Speaker 8: They have a very deep receiver room, as you mentioned,
- 26:53Speaker 8: but that should not take away from his greatness. And
- 26:56Speaker 8: you talk to Brian Hartline, who is their receivers coach
- 26:58Speaker 8: is now their offensive coordinator. And also, you know, he
- 27:02Speaker 8: was a great at Ohio State and played in the NFL,
- 27:04Speaker 8: and he'll tell you that Marvin is special. To have
- 27:07Speaker 8: his size and understand the intricacies of the position is
- 27:11Speaker 8: really rare. And he's going to get mentioned alongside names
- 27:13Speaker 8: like Calvin Johnson and Julio Jones and AJ Green who
- 27:16Speaker 8: were top five picks at the wide receiver position, which
- 27:19Speaker 8: is something that just really doesn't happen that often.
- 27:22Speaker 2: We were talking pretty recently about the best college wide
- 27:25Speaker 2: receivers we had seen in Calvin Johnson at Georgia Tech,
- 27:28Speaker 2: and I didn't even think about Ada Green and Gorgia
- 27:30Speaker 2: until you just meant And obviously I watched AJ Green
- 27:33Speaker 2: freaking dominate Julio Jones at Alabama when they had just
- 27:36Speaker 2: a running team, but they would just thought Julio because
- 27:38Speaker 2: he was just bigger and faster than everybody else. When
- 27:40Speaker 2: you mentioned those three like they were so elite, and
- 27:43Speaker 2: Marvin Harris and you're saying, is that I think so.
- 27:47Speaker 8: I think on traits on talent. Yes, Now, Ohio State
- 27:50Speaker 8: spreads the ball around so much. You know, at Georgia
- 27:53Speaker 8: Tech when Calvin was there, they were still running the
- 27:55Speaker 8: triple options, so we didn't even really get to see
- 27:56Speaker 8: what he could really be as a wide receiver.
- 27:59Speaker 9: So Marvin might not hit those numbers this year.
- 28:02Speaker 8: I hit those markers where you look back and you're like,
- 28:03Speaker 8: that was a historically great season. But I think on
- 28:07Speaker 8: just the ability to play wide receiver. Yeah, he's up
- 28:10Speaker 8: there with those names, and Calvin is different. There's a
- 28:12Speaker 8: reason they called the guy Megatron. Physically, I don't know
- 28:15Speaker 8: the we'll see you know, Calvin Johnson, DK Metcalf, They're
- 28:18Speaker 8: in a tier by themselves physically, So I don't I
- 28:20Speaker 8: don't want anyone to expect Marvin Harrison to be two
- 28:23Speaker 8: thirty five with four percent body fat.
- 28:25Speaker 9: That's not who he is. But just being great at
- 28:28Speaker 9: playing wide receiver, he's definitely up there with those guys.
- 28:30Speaker 2: You have Caleb Williams going number one. I feel the
- 28:34Speaker 2: same way, but I'm not as smart about it as
- 28:36Speaker 2: you are. But what is so different about Caleb Williams
- 28:39Speaker 2: from an expert's opinion.
- 28:40Speaker 8: The ability, I would say, to be poised when there's chaos.
- 28:44Speaker 8: Sometimes he makes that chaos himself. You know where he
- 28:46Speaker 8: wants to run around and extend plays. But he's so
- 28:49Speaker 8: great at keeping his eyes down the field. Of finding
- 28:53Speaker 8: calm under chaos is what he's great at. And I
- 28:57Speaker 8: hate comparing anyone to Patrick Mahomes. I think he's the
- 28:59Speaker 8: greatest quarterback on the world right now. But Caleb does
- 29:02Speaker 8: some things that you've only ever seen Patrick do in
- 29:04Speaker 8: terms of I'm going to drift away from my offensive
- 29:08Speaker 8: line and make up play twenty five thirty yards downfield.
- 29:11Speaker 8: You know, Caleb had one of those last week where
- 29:13Speaker 8: you know, it just it feels like the play is
- 29:15Speaker 8: going to break down. But he's fast enough, strong enough,
- 29:18Speaker 8: poised enough, he's got a great enough field vision to
- 29:21Speaker 8: find his guy when a lot of players are not
- 29:24Speaker 8: going to be able to do that. They're going to
- 29:25Speaker 8: panic when they see, you know, defensive linemen in their face,
- 29:28Speaker 8: when they feel that pressure of defensive lineman chasing them,
- 29:30Speaker 8: They're going to panic. And he doesn't do that. And
- 29:33Speaker 8: the fact that as a college junior he has that
- 29:36Speaker 8: much poise just makes you feel really great about where
- 29:38Speaker 8: he can get. And you know, Babi, the fact that
- 29:40Speaker 8: he has no deficiencies. You look at his game, you know,
- 29:42Speaker 8: he's six one two fifteen that's definitely big enough. Arm
- 29:45Speaker 8: strength is there. Accuracy in terms of completion percentage is there.
- 29:49Speaker 9: You watch the.
- 29:50Speaker 8: Athletic ability for him to run around and create and
- 29:52Speaker 8: make plays or even what he does as a runner.
- 29:55Speaker 8: He checks every box from a if we went down
- 29:57Speaker 8: a list of traits at quarterback, he's going to hit
- 29:59Speaker 8: everyone one of those. Then you add in kind of
- 30:02Speaker 8: that special, rare talent of how he's able to go
- 30:05Speaker 8: out and create and playoff platform.
- 30:07Speaker 9: That's what makes him really really special.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Yeah, the intangible thing. And I hate the guy that
- 30:11Speaker 2: goes do you remember this play? But I'm about to
- 30:13Speaker 2: do that to you. There was a play when they
- 30:15Speaker 2: were playing Kansas, oak Clum was about to get beat
- 30:16Speaker 2: and he took the ball from his own running back
- 30:18Speaker 2: and that he pulled it from his arms. His own
- 30:21Speaker 2: running back was getting tackled, and they ended up going
- 30:23Speaker 2: to win that game because again, he just had the
- 30:24Speaker 2: wherewithal to go, Okay, well, gains, that'd be over. I'm
- 30:27Speaker 2: going to pull the ball back from my own player
- 30:29Speaker 2: and win the game like that. You don't see that
- 30:32Speaker 2: very often, and that it seems like he's doing that
- 30:35Speaker 2: so many times that it's not just luck and let's.
- 30:38Speaker 8: Remember he's twenty twenty one years old, so it's like
- 30:41Speaker 8: he has that confidence in his own ability at that
- 30:44Speaker 8: age and that's only going to increase, you would think,
- 30:47Speaker 8: you know, more repetition, more more success, that confidence and
- 30:50Speaker 8: belief in himself is only going to increase.
- 30:52Speaker 9: And it's crazy.
- 30:53Speaker 8: We in my profession, especially with quarterbacks, you almost want
- 30:56Speaker 8: to see them handle adversity. You know, what is what
- 30:58Speaker 8: do you look like when things aren't going well? And
- 31:01Speaker 8: I think for Caleb, you know, it's the you know,
- 31:03Speaker 8: battling with Spencer for that starting job as a freshman.
- 31:06Speaker 8: It's the transferring to a new system and having to
- 31:08Speaker 8: acclimate on the fly. And oh, by the way, you've
- 31:11Speaker 8: gotten score fifty touchdowns and win the Heisman Trophy. You know,
- 31:14Speaker 8: he's not playing with the Alabama offensive line in front
- 31:17Speaker 8: of him. He's breaking in new wide receivers consistently. So
- 31:20Speaker 8: I think we've seen him. Yes, he's with Lincoln Riley,
- 31:23Speaker 8: which helps a lot us.
- 31:24Speaker 1: He is not.
- 31:25Speaker 8: Football poor in any sense of the word, but we
- 31:27Speaker 8: have seen him. You know, have to to adapt and
- 31:30Speaker 8: I think that that's the thing.
- 31:31Speaker 9: You really like to see.
- 31:32Speaker 2: How many weeks next season until Texas starts to wish
- 31:35Speaker 2: they weren't in the SEC.
- 31:37Speaker 9: I think it's already gonna have.
- 31:38Speaker 8: It's gonna Saturday when they play, when they have to
- 31:40Speaker 8: go to tug Delusa, and it's like, oh, what did
- 31:43Speaker 8: we do? But you know, when the when the check's
- 31:45Speaker 8: clear from the SEC media rights, I think everyone want
- 31:48Speaker 8: to be pretty happy.
- 31:48Speaker 9: But uh, Sark's gotta he's got a tall test, you know.
- 31:51Speaker 8: They I firmly believe they made that firing and hiring
- 31:55Speaker 8: with the idea that we've got to win in the
- 31:57Speaker 8: SEC and this guy knows how to do it. So Uh,
- 32:00Speaker 8: at Texas, you can't just be recruiting classes. Eventually, you
- 32:02Speaker 8: got to be wins. And I think that's where they're
- 32:04Speaker 8: at this year.
- 32:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I give you a hard time being a Texas fan,
- 32:07Speaker 2: and my wife and that whole family, they're all diehard
- 32:09Speaker 2: Oklahoma fans, and you know, they're just happy about going
- 32:12Speaker 2: to the SEC. Everything's going to be the same in
- 32:13Speaker 2: their mind, you know. And I'm like, I can only
- 32:16Speaker 2: say so much. And also they could prove me wrong,
- 32:18Speaker 2: but I'm like, you're not getting to play Iowa State.
- 32:21Speaker 2: You're not getting to It's there's a couple of those,
- 32:24Speaker 2: but they're not even consistently bad. It's you better catch
- 32:27Speaker 2: Auburn on a year when Hugh Freeze has got his
- 32:28Speaker 2: first year, you better catch Mississippi State. Like they got
- 32:31Speaker 2: to put in a new coach because their other coach died,
- 32:33Speaker 2: Like I mean, so it's like even the bad teams
- 32:36Speaker 2: except for Vanderbilt, and they're getting better. Like there's there
- 32:39Speaker 2: aren't any big twelve type guaranteed wins in the SEC,
- 32:44Speaker 2: and I think that's exciting. I love that Texas and
- 32:45Speaker 2: Oklahoma coming because I respect the program so much, like
- 32:48Speaker 2: love the history as a fan of Texas though, and
- 32:52Speaker 2: just your personal feelings, like is it exciting to go
- 32:54Speaker 2: to the SEC or are you more nervous about it?
- 32:57Speaker 9: Both?
- 32:57Speaker 8: I think both As an analyst, like it might my
- 33:00Speaker 8: job had on first, it's exciting because you always want
- 33:02Speaker 8: to see best first best, and so you're going to
- 33:05Speaker 8: get that.
- 33:05Speaker 9: And I live in SEC country.
- 33:06Speaker 8: I live like an hour and a half from University
- 33:09Speaker 8: of Arkansas, so it's like okay, now for me, I
- 33:10Speaker 8: got that hour and a half drive. I can go
- 33:12Speaker 8: watch Texas come through, Oklahoma come through every weekend in
- 33:16Speaker 8: Fayetteville is now a great weekend for me to go
- 33:19Speaker 8: scout players.
- 33:20Speaker 9: So I'm excited about that. I think as a as.
- 33:22Speaker 8: A fan, someone that's watched the University of Texas for
- 33:24Speaker 8: thirty years, it's it's scary because the SEC is I mean,
- 33:28Speaker 8: how many national.
- 33:29Speaker 9: Champions in a row are we talking right now?
- 33:31Speaker 8: And you've got Nick Saban, greatest college coach of all time,
- 33:34Speaker 8: Kirby Smart and Georgia look unbeatable despite what LSU put
- 33:38Speaker 8: on the field Sunday night. That's always a tough program.
- 33:41Speaker 8: So yeah, I mean you've got those, like you said,
- 33:43Speaker 8: every stop, even Vandy, they're going to be those times.
- 33:47Speaker 8: They're tough and well coached, and they're going to have
- 33:49Speaker 8: some guys out there. And Texas, I mean, they struggled
- 33:52Speaker 8: with Rice in the first half last week, and so
- 33:54Speaker 8: I think that's the thing when you get in the SEC.
- 33:56Speaker 8: You can't have those where you play down to your
- 33:57Speaker 8: competition because those teams will smack you in the mouth
- 34:00Speaker 8: too talented, and that's that's really where Sark's got to
- 34:03Speaker 8: figure out a way to turn this team around. Like
- 34:05Speaker 8: you know, they're going to play up to Alabama. They
- 34:06Speaker 8: did it last year, We'll probably do it again. This year,
- 34:09Speaker 8: but you got to, like, in the SEC, you beat
- 34:11Speaker 8: Rice seventy to seven, you know, you don't play Rice cloaks,
- 34:14Speaker 8: And that's what they did last week.
- 34:16Speaker 9: So that's where I get a little bit nervous.
- 34:17Speaker 2: And I said it out of respect. I hate Texas
- 34:19Speaker 2: and Oklahoma, but I love them because I always say
- 34:22Speaker 2: on this show that if I hate your program, it's
- 34:24Speaker 2: because either you beat me, or I don't want to
- 34:26Speaker 2: have to play you, or I'm annoyed that you're getting
- 34:28Speaker 2: all the good players.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Right.
- 34:29Speaker 2: It's like hating someone in sports as a sign of respect.
- 34:31Speaker 2: So I hate Texas and I grew up in Arkansas
- 34:34Speaker 2: and we hate Texas. But I'm so excited when Texas
- 34:36Speaker 2: came to Favel last year and we won, like we
- 34:40Speaker 2: flipped our craft, we stormed the field. It was like
- 34:43Speaker 2: it's that old school rivalry. And I'm not even bragging.
- 34:46Speaker 2: I mean I am, but it's that old school rivalry
- 34:48Speaker 2: that we're losing a lot of because of all the
- 34:50Speaker 2: conferentory alignment, but some of it is getting put back
- 34:52Speaker 2: into play in certain areas as well because of that.
- 34:55Speaker 2: And I'm super excited that Texas is coming to the SEC,
- 34:59Speaker 2: just because I can't wait to be the crap out
- 35:00Speaker 2: of you. I mean, that's the truth, that's what it's about.
- 35:03Speaker 8: I mean, I'm just got kJ Jefferson won't be there
- 35:05Speaker 8: next year for this to happen.
- 35:06Speaker 10: Possibly he could stay another year.
- 35:09Speaker 8: Right with these COVID guys playing seven years football now,
- 35:12Speaker 8: so maybe, but no, it's gonna be exciting.
- 35:15Speaker 9: Like, like I said, living so close to.
- 35:17Speaker 8: You of a like being able to just hop down
- 35:18Speaker 8: there to watch these great teams come through every weekend.
- 35:22Speaker 9: Is I'm going to be spoiled Eddie?
- 35:25Speaker 4: Yeah, Matt, So, like you're so knowledgeable with all of
- 35:28Speaker 4: these players, all of these teams. Like are you ever
- 35:31Speaker 4: at a barbecue with a bunch of bros And they're
- 35:33Speaker 4: talking sports and you're like, guys, like you don't know
- 35:35Speaker 4: what you're talking about?
- 35:38Speaker 8: No, because I think sports are so objective like ever,
- 35:41Speaker 8: you know, Like my son and I were eating last
- 35:44Speaker 8: night and I and he likes to be quizzed about football,
- 35:46Speaker 8: and I was like, who's the greatest player ever? He
- 35:48Speaker 8: was like Tom Brady And then my daughter across the
- 35:50Speaker 8: table is like, that's just an opinion. It's Joe Montana
- 35:52Speaker 8: and like, so like there's no right answer. You know,
- 35:55Speaker 8: it's like, what is your opinion? You know, it's not
- 35:56Speaker 8: how many points? Is it a touchdown?
- 35:58Speaker 9: Work? It's okay at six.
- 35:59Speaker 8: So I think a lot of my friends have also
- 36:02Speaker 8: known me from before I worked in sports. You know,
- 36:05Speaker 8: when I was just like the really nerdy guy who
- 36:07Speaker 8: is oddly obsessed with the NFL draft, but no one
- 36:10Speaker 8: was paying me to talk about it. So they definitely
- 36:12Speaker 8: still still give me, you know, enough trash about the
- 36:15Speaker 8: days when no one cared what I had to say
- 36:18Speaker 8: about sports.
- 36:18Speaker 9: They're probably still in that category, uh.
- 36:21Speaker 2: To being someone who's an expert in sports, like you
- 36:22Speaker 2: have to also look athletic, or you get a bunch
- 36:25Speaker 2: of crap. I have thought about this. So let's say
- 36:27Speaker 2: Matt goes out and it's like, hey, let's just throw
- 36:29Speaker 2: the ball around, and he throws like some of these
- 36:31Speaker 2: actors playing football players and they can't throw it all. It's
- 36:35Speaker 2: like you kind of have to be you kind of
- 36:36Speaker 2: have to be that dude a little bit too, since
- 36:38Speaker 2: you're elevating in the sports world.
- 36:40Speaker 9: I had not thought of it that way.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Oh great, show him today.
- 36:45Speaker 8: I always tell people I went to a one A
- 36:47Speaker 8: high school in Missouri, which means that there were like,
- 36:49Speaker 8: you know, one hundred and twenty kids in the whole
- 36:51Speaker 8: high school, and I was probably the worst football player
- 36:53Speaker 8: on the varsity football team. So I don't have any
- 36:56Speaker 8: any you know, great stories.
- 36:58Speaker 9: Of my athletic ability from back in the day day.
- 37:00Speaker 8: I'm sure anybody from my high school who catches this
- 37:02Speaker 8: will be shaking their head at that, like, yeah, no,
- 37:04Speaker 8: he was. It was probably better on the newspaper yearbook
- 37:08Speaker 8: staff than I was the football team.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Yeah, be late bloomer though you live. That's the thing
- 37:12Speaker 2: that's right now, That's right, everybody go check out the
- 37:18Speaker 2: NFL Monk Draft for twenty twenty four. To me, it's
- 37:21Speaker 2: that's It was so fun to see it because again
- 37:23Speaker 2: I am oddly obsessed with it, and you know, I
- 37:26Speaker 2: also am just so curious about, you know, the Rams
- 37:30Speaker 2: and the Cardinals and these teams that are not going
- 37:32Speaker 2: to win. I mean, the Cardinals have tanked already. They've
- 37:34Speaker 2: they've they when they cut Hopkins, they did it so
- 37:38Speaker 2: they would fill part of their their freaking budget ups,
- 37:44Speaker 2: you know, because you have to have a minimal and
- 37:45Speaker 2: so they're like, well we'll just cut them, and our
- 37:47Speaker 2: salary CAP's going to be eating up somewhat like they're
- 37:49Speaker 2: doing strategic things to lose every game. It's wild. And
- 37:53Speaker 2: so to watch the Cardinals tank for Caleb Williams and
- 37:55Speaker 2: then also have that Houston pick where they could end
- 37:58Speaker 2: up being one two or one three and they're praying
- 38:00Speaker 2: to God that Stroud doesn't have an amazing like it
- 38:03Speaker 2: is so exciting for next year, especially with all the
- 38:05Speaker 2: big quarterbacks. So when I saw your your list come up,
- 38:08Speaker 2: I loved it, and I'm a big fan of your work,
- 38:10Speaker 2: so thank you for coming on today.
- 38:13Speaker 8: No, man, I'm a huge fan of your work as well,
- 38:14Speaker 8: So this is great.
- 38:15Speaker 9: We'll have to do it again.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Man, I'm telling you the Cardinals they want to play
- 38:19Speaker 2: with nine players, Like I think they would go to
- 38:20Speaker 2: nine players and just be like, oh, we didn't know
- 38:22Speaker 2: we needed eleven this year. Watch that, like they're gonna
- 38:24Speaker 2: tank so hard, But right, don't right?
- 38:28Speaker 3: I mean, how do you tank.
- 38:29Speaker 2: With that with a bunch of professionals?
- 38:30Speaker 1: Though?
- 38:31Speaker 2: Like, what would you do strategically, Matt how would you
- 38:33Speaker 2: tank that team?
- 38:35Speaker 8: I would do exactly what they did. I would Colt
- 38:38Speaker 8: McCoy the last week of the preseason and say, Josh
- 38:42Speaker 8: Dobbs who we just traded for, or Clayton Tune who
- 38:44Speaker 8: we drafted this year. You're gonna want to whose gonna
- 38:47Speaker 8: roll out there and play quarterback?
- 38:48Speaker 9: And it's tough, you know.
- 38:50Speaker 8: It's You've got fifty three professionals and they have to
- 38:54Speaker 8: think about their next contract, everything about their careers, like.
- 38:56Speaker 9: They don't want to lose either.
- 38:58Speaker 8: But if ownership says y'all seen Kayleb Williams or have
- 39:01Speaker 8: you seen Drake May, it's pretty hard to go against
- 39:05Speaker 8: what the owner ultimately says if that's what is happening.
- 39:08Speaker 8: But I'll throw this out there, Bobby. We have to
- 39:10Speaker 8: remember Caleb Williams has another year eligibility as well, and
- 39:13Speaker 8: he is a very smart young man. He's a very
- 39:16Speaker 8: savvy young man. He does not need the money thanks
- 39:18Speaker 8: to NIL. This is not like it used to be
- 39:21Speaker 8: where young guys are looking at the NFL saying, man,
- 39:24Speaker 8: that's thirty million dollars that I would have to turn down.
- 39:27Speaker 8: Caleb Williams could stay at USC for another year if
- 39:29Speaker 8: he does not like that team in the top spot,
- 39:31Speaker 8: take his NIL money, which I'm sure is very very lucrative,
- 39:34Speaker 8: and say I'll roll the Dice next year. You know,
- 39:37Speaker 8: he can also pull Eli Manning and say, sorry, Cardinals,
- 39:40Speaker 8: I'm not playing there. I know how talented I am,
- 39:42Speaker 8: I know my leverage. I don't want to be there.
- 39:44Speaker 8: So not saying I've heard any of those things, but
- 39:47Speaker 8: Caleb Williams is a unique player and probably a prospect
- 39:50Speaker 8: we have. It's Trevor Lawrence Andrew Luck. You know, those
- 39:52Speaker 8: are the types of namesies to get mentioned with where
- 39:54Speaker 8: those guys have a lot of leverage, they don't necessarily
- 39:57Speaker 8: just have to go along with on the first pick,
- 39:59Speaker 8: let me go to the worst team in the NFL.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Eli meaning thing was so bizarre the Chargers drafted him
- 40:04Speaker 2: and ended up being the Philip Rivers trade. But Lway,
- 40:06Speaker 2: and this is before me and I'll wrap on this
- 40:08Speaker 2: because you just send me into a different place, didn't Elways?
- 40:10Speaker 2: So I'm gonna go play for the Yankees if yes?
- 40:12Speaker 2: And because who was who is trying to draft John Elway?
- 40:16Speaker 2: Initially the Baltimore Colt. Yeah yeah, and he was like, no,
- 40:19Speaker 2: I'll just play baseball for the Yankees then, I mean,
- 40:21Speaker 2: but now they have even more leverage than that because
- 40:24Speaker 2: of the money they can make in IL within IL
- 40:26Speaker 2: and you know.
- 40:27Speaker 9: What, it'll be fascinating.
- 40:28Speaker 2: I fund some of that, right I did. I do
- 40:31Speaker 2: fund a little bit about myself. Matt Miller. You guys
- 40:34Speaker 2: follow them on Twitter at NFL Draft Scout. He came
- 40:36Speaker 2: out with his new Monk Draft. I want you to
- 40:37Speaker 2: check it out because it is so good. If you're
- 40:39Speaker 2: like me, Matt, big fan, Thank you for the time.
- 40:41Speaker 2: We'd love to talk to you again sometime soon.
- 40:42Speaker 9: Sounds great?
- 40:43Speaker 2: And hook him, Bobby, Nope, I will never say that
- 40:45Speaker 2: or acknowledge it. No, I will not do that, and
- 40:48Speaker 2: I'll hang up on him now. All right, all right,
- 40:49Speaker 2: I see him, Matt. Can you believe we've had seven
- 40:56Speaker 2: months without an NFL game?
- 40:57Speaker 3: Let's go.

- 41:49Speaker 10: We are doing the rest of this podcast from an airplane.
- 41:51Speaker 3: How do we get here?
- 41:52Speaker 2: We great questions to the American Indians, Native Americans.
- 41:57Speaker 3: They had this land, Yes they did. We the white
- 41:59Speaker 3: man's stole it. Yeah, we're terrible.
- 42:01Speaker 10: And then you, the brown man came at a later point.
- 42:04Speaker 4: No, no, no, I was here too, because according to my
- 42:07Speaker 4: twenty three and meter DNA stuff, I am Native American.
- 42:11Speaker 10: Yeah, but I'm also like North African.
- 42:13Speaker 3: Prove it.
- 42:14Speaker 10: But okay, wow, okay he is See I don't do
- 42:20Speaker 10: that wow.
- 42:21Speaker 2: But yeah, so if you hear like a want of plane,
- 42:24Speaker 2: we're currently flying over to Fabe. I can saw to
- 42:27Speaker 2: shoot an episode of too Much Access, our football show,
- 42:32Speaker 2: so we have an hour and I was gonna actually
- 42:35Speaker 2: bring up a couple things when we were talking about this.
- 42:37Speaker 2: We had our draft last night of the teams and
- 42:43Speaker 2: how good they play, you make money and if they lose,
- 42:46Speaker 2: you lose money. Yeah, we did it last year and
- 42:49Speaker 2: I had the Cowboys.
- 42:49Speaker 3: Last year.
- 42:50Speaker 2: The Cowboys is a winner and they did pretty good
- 42:52Speaker 2: for me. And I had the Bears, is a loser and
- 42:53Speaker 2: that did great for me. But you can pick a
- 42:55Speaker 2: team to win or pick a team to lose. So
- 42:58Speaker 2: the a couple of factors that I didn't know last
- 43:00Speaker 2: year when we were doing the draft was if you
- 43:04Speaker 2: pick a team to lose and they lose all the
- 43:07Speaker 2: games and you do really well, the playoffs still pay out,
- 43:11Speaker 2: so the good teams get to keep making money. So
- 43:13Speaker 2: there's a slight diss a slight disadvantage if you pick
- 43:19Speaker 2: a loser because they're not gonna make playoffs.
- 43:20Speaker 3: Yeah, three games or so, but not a huge one,
- 43:22Speaker 3: but it could be.
- 43:23Speaker 2: So they start bidding on there are six owners in.
- 43:28Speaker 3: This league, Matt stell.
- 43:31Speaker 2: House, who is on with Bill Simmons a lot, all
- 43:36Speaker 2: of this group of guys, same guys from last year.
- 43:40Speaker 2: Chandler who's played for the Cowboys a little bit, played
- 43:43Speaker 2: for Chandler.
- 43:44Speaker 10: Yeah, tight end Scott Chandler.
- 43:49Speaker 3: Holts, Yeah yeah, but he might be Cowboys for a
- 43:53Speaker 3: second too. He might have regardless who cares, he's in
- 43:57Speaker 3: there too. Yes, we all have these teams and work.
- 44:00Speaker 2: So first Matt Still is like, all right, you guys
- 44:03Speaker 2: can bid for your auction spot.
- 44:06Speaker 3: So there's six.
- 44:07Speaker 2: It's like a snake draft, but you I don't even
- 44:10Speaker 2: know what's a good spot, Like I know in fantasy
- 44:12Speaker 2: what's good, but I don't really know like one or six.
- 44:15Speaker 10: I don't spend any money on the spot. I'm just
- 44:16Speaker 10: gonna let it happen.
- 44:17Speaker 2: So somebody bids like three hundred bucks and they buy
- 44:20Speaker 2: spot four. Somebody else bids spot six, So I don't
- 44:24Speaker 2: spend any money on the draft. So you're gonna just
- 44:26Speaker 2: take whatever's left whatevers left. Me and another dude were like,
- 44:28Speaker 2: we're not spending money on this crap. We lost to
- 44:31Speaker 2: much money last year. We're not doing this crap. So
- 44:33Speaker 2: I got number two spot too, not bad, I don't know, right,
- 44:36Speaker 2: without bidding, without.
- 44:37Speaker 3: Bidding, Interesting, no one else wanted that, and he got one.
- 44:40Speaker 3: Nobody wanted one.
- 44:42Speaker 2: Now it's every team.
- 44:46Speaker 3: To win or lose.
- 44:47Speaker 2: In there is you have to have six six teams,
- 44:50Speaker 2: so you have to draft six teams total. There aren't
- 44:52Speaker 2: thirty six teams in the NFL. Right, No, right, So
- 44:58Speaker 2: six times six thirty six. So you got losers got winners. Yeah,
- 45:00Speaker 2: some teams are drafted as a winner and a loser.
- 45:04Speaker 2: And so I went second overall. So I'm gonna ask
- 45:06Speaker 2: you who, in my position, who you would have picked
- 45:08Speaker 2: second overall?
- 45:10Speaker 3: Winner or loser.
- 45:12Speaker 2: The first pick that went off the board was the
- 45:13Speaker 2: San Francisco forty nine ers.
- 45:15Speaker 3: Was a winner, perfect, the winner. I would have been
- 45:17Speaker 3: excited about that, because that's my loser. No, no, it
- 45:20Speaker 3: does be a loser. I could be a winner or loser.
- 45:22Speaker 3: I can pick the Chiefs winner.
- 45:23Speaker 10: I can pick the Eagles winner. I can pick a loser,
- 45:26Speaker 10: doesn't matter.
- 45:27Speaker 3: Right, but I would go with the Cardinals.
- 45:29Speaker 2: So over the Chiefs winner or Bill's winner correct or Okay,
- 45:32Speaker 2: just making sure everybody understands, I.
- 45:33Speaker 3: Can guarantee that the Cardinals are going to be bad,
- 45:36Speaker 3: so I can't guarantee that those other teams are gonna
- 45:38Speaker 3: be good. Kevin, you would have picked in this spot.
- 45:40Speaker 2: Arizona Cardinals as a loser, and every time they lose,
- 45:43Speaker 2: I went correct.
- 45:44Speaker 7: Who would you have pa, that's a good one because
- 45:46Speaker 7: of their division that they play in.
- 45:47Speaker 3: That's why it's such a good one. Winner.
- 45:51Speaker 7: Now you pick any your loser. Yeah, trying to think
- 45:54Speaker 7: wholt is going to be really bad?
- 45:57Speaker 3: The Buccaneers. I'm asking who you would pick that's a
- 46:00Speaker 3: good bet as a lose one. You have a second pick.
- 46:03Speaker 3: Who are you taking?
- 46:05Speaker 2: You can pick a winner, but the Bills, the Chiefs,
- 46:07Speaker 2: the Eagles, you pick a loser, the Texans, the Buccaneers,
- 46:11Speaker 2: whatever you want.
- 46:12Speaker 3: Okay, I'll take man, that's tough.
- 46:18Speaker 7: Yeah, take the car because you already took the Cardinals
- 46:20Speaker 7: nor the Cardinals.
- 46:23Speaker 2: Yes, okay, I took the Cardinals. Yes, the earliest anybody
- 46:27Speaker 2: ever taking a loser.
- 46:28Speaker 3: Yeah, that's great.
- 46:29Speaker 10: I was like, they're taking the season all rctly, so
- 46:31Speaker 10: I took it.
- 46:32Speaker 3: They're like, dang, now they're gonna win a couple of games.
- 46:34Speaker 2: That's okay, But that even the best teams lose a
- 46:36Speaker 2: couple of games. So that's how I was looking at it.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Are they gonna be as bad as the best team
- 46:41Speaker 2: is good? And I think the answer is yes, where
- 46:43Speaker 2: they could go.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Thirteen and four.
- 46:48Speaker 2: The other way though, like like four to thirteen, yeah,
- 46:51Speaker 2: or like a winning team, like you go thirteen and four.
- 46:53Speaker 10: So the problem is, though, I don't get any playoff
- 46:55Speaker 10: money with a loser.
- 46:57Speaker 2: So I went and everybody in the room was like, oh,
- 47:00Speaker 2: nobody ever goes to loser the first round.
- 47:02Speaker 3: You're like the guy at the crafts table that does
- 47:04Speaker 3: the no power your back so boom, So I hit it.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Okay bo Cardinals loss. I don't have the whole order here.
- 47:12Speaker 2: But there was not another loser taken after me.
- 47:16Speaker 11: It was the Eagles, it was the Bills, it was
- 47:22Speaker 11: the Cowboys, the Ravens, all these winner teams.
- 47:28Speaker 2: It gets back to me the second time around. Okay, okay,
- 47:31Speaker 2: so I've can't. I'm giving you an okay idea of
- 47:34Speaker 2: who's left, but who from what I've told you, who
- 47:36Speaker 2: would you then take?
- 47:37Speaker 4: Now I'm gonna go the winners side, just thinking mentally,
- 47:40Speaker 4: I'm gonna go with the Bengals.
- 47:41Speaker 3: The Bengals were taken. Okay, let me think for a second, Kevin.
- 47:45Speaker 3: If you have one, go ahead, I'm not giving you
- 47:49Speaker 3: as a guy.
- 47:49Speaker 10: Do I look at So it's a little little Bengals.
- 47:53Speaker 3: Oh, I'll go Vikings. Okay, Vikings winning.
- 47:56Speaker 7: Team as a winning team, Bengal. You said Bengals are gone,
- 48:01Speaker 7: Bills are gone.
- 48:02Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, I don't want to walk through all this again,
- 48:04Speaker 2: so you can just say, I don't know, Kevin.
- 48:06Speaker 10: Took ten hours to get to that first Cardinals.
- 48:08Speaker 3: Loser, Kevin, and it's not real either. You're not playing.
- 48:14Speaker 3: Let's go with the Steelers.
- 48:15Speaker 10: I went with the Rams losers.
- 48:21Speaker 3: Man, you think they're okay, and you go with them
- 48:23Speaker 3: as a winner last year? Right? I did, and they sucked. Wow,
- 48:26Speaker 3: that's why you're going this way?
- 48:27Speaker 2: No, I know, I think they're trying to take the
- 48:29Speaker 2: season two. I think you got two teams that don't
- 48:32Speaker 2: and Cooper cups out for who knows how long. Sure,
- 48:34Speaker 2: I think you got two teams that want a quarterback.
- 48:37Speaker 2: And so I picked two losers. So then it comes
- 48:40Speaker 2: back to me the third round and I'm like, I
- 48:42Speaker 2: can't take all losers. So all those big teams were
- 48:44Speaker 2: gone right that we mentioned. So in the third round,
- 48:48Speaker 2: second overall pick. I took Jacksonville's a winner. I like
- 48:50Speaker 2: that solid. It's a good I mean, that's a good
- 48:52Speaker 2: dark so and there are no powers at this point.
- 48:57Speaker 2: There are no teams over like over under Vegas like
- 49:00Speaker 2: nine wins. So you're just kind of praying to God.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Did you get the Raiders?
- 49:05Speaker 3: No, I say, away from them altogether.
- 49:07Speaker 2: I had the Waders winners last year, so that third
- 49:10Speaker 2: round I got Jacksonville winners.
- 49:12Speaker 10: Comes back around on the fourth round. So again, not
- 49:15Speaker 10: a lot.
- 49:16Speaker 3: Of teams left.
- 49:17Speaker 2: And you can tell me if you would have taken
- 49:18Speaker 2: the winners or losers of this certain team, because it
- 49:20Speaker 2: starts to be like that.
- 49:21Speaker 3: I got Seattle. I like that as but I didn't.
- 49:26Speaker 9: Say winners and losers.
- 49:27Speaker 2: I didn't say winners and losers I took. I just
- 49:28Speaker 2: said Seattle, what would you take the winners or losers
- 49:30Speaker 2: of Seattle?
- 49:31Speaker 3: I would take losers on Seattle, I would take winners.
- 49:34Speaker 3: I'm taking winners. I think I think they may win
- 49:36Speaker 3: the whole division. Yeah, because you already took two teams
- 49:38Speaker 3: in their divisions. US you know is still their quarterback.
- 49:40Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, I think listen, I think the four Nunders
- 49:43Speaker 2: will probably, but I think Seattle's got a good job
- 49:45Speaker 2: and it's the NFC. Yeah, they're not having to play
- 49:48Speaker 2: for the most part, all those deathly teams of Kansas City,
- 49:53Speaker 2: the Chargers, the Bangles, the Ravens. So I found an
- 49:58Speaker 2: NFC team I thought that I could proba have a
- 50:00Speaker 2: decent shot of getting lucky with They might be.
- 50:02Speaker 3: The oldest NFL team out there, huh, Seattle, Gino Smith,
- 50:06Speaker 3: TK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett. There are some old dudes. We're
- 50:11Speaker 3: actually like twenty eight though. Yeah, oh yeah, it's like
- 50:13Speaker 3: sports old. Okay, they're thirty five.
- 50:15Speaker 2: Okay, So fifth and sixth round people are just scraping.
- 50:19Speaker 2: There are no really good teams and all the really
- 50:21Speaker 2: bad teams are also gone. So when you pick a team,
- 50:23Speaker 2: you're you're picking them when you're just kind of flipping
- 50:25Speaker 2: a coin. So in the fifth of six rounds, I
- 50:28Speaker 2: picked the Titans.
- 50:29Speaker 3: I think Titans are gonna surprise. Let's go winners, losers.
- 50:32Speaker 3: I picked the Titans.
- 50:33Speaker 2: Winners, Yes, sir, again, not not a great division, but
- 50:39Speaker 2: I have Jacksonville that division two, and I also I was.
- 50:42Speaker 10: Like, and I also want to root for them.
- 50:44Speaker 2: Sure it was so on the I was so in
- 50:46Speaker 2: the middle that I want to root for the Titans.
- 50:49Speaker 10: So if I get, you get to pick, I'm gonna
- 50:50Speaker 10: pick a root for them.
- 50:51Speaker 2: I do. Do you consider them your hometown team? Well, hometown, yeah,
- 50:55Speaker 2: But are they like my favorite team? I don't think
- 50:57Speaker 2: they're anyone's favorite. I don't even think they're Nashville's favorite.
- 51:00Speaker 3: Do you know why though?
- 51:01Speaker 2: Because they haven't been around long announced It's not like
- 51:02Speaker 2: there are generations of people to be like my grandpa
- 51:05Speaker 2: was a fan.
- 51:06Speaker 4: But did somebody ask the question of like, are there more? Oh,
- 51:10Speaker 4: during our fantasy draft, somebody asks, are there more Preds
- 51:13Speaker 4: fans in Nashville or Titans fans?
- 51:15Speaker 3: What Titans? Though?
- 51:15Speaker 2: Just because NFL so much bigger? Okayd pread's same thing.
- 51:19Speaker 2: Sports is bigger. Yeah, pread's the same thing. Where there
- 51:22Speaker 2: are they haven't been around for generations, so everybody's news.
- 51:24Speaker 2: So it's also more welcoming to be a fan because
- 51:27Speaker 2: no one's like, you're a bandwagoner. We're all band wagoner
- 51:30Speaker 2: thing hasn't been around for eighty years.
- 51:31Speaker 3: I think the Titans are going to be good this year,
- 51:32Speaker 3: better than people think.
- 51:33Speaker 10: I do too, and does though ahead.
- 51:36Speaker 3: I think. I think the Titans gonna win ten games. Okay,
- 51:39Speaker 3: I told you, Like, what's the over under on your
- 51:41Speaker 3: games for them? Yeah? More than half these back, more
- 51:44Speaker 3: than half better than better.
- 51:46Speaker 10: Well, the bottom last two pick teams you get.
- 51:50Speaker 2: You just want to be over five hundred with winsor
- 51:51Speaker 2: losses because that way you're still positive. And then finally
- 51:56Speaker 2: in the sixth round, I mean there's nothing, Yeah, there's
- 52:00Speaker 2: and I'm thirty five. I'm thirty five of thirty six
- 52:03Speaker 2: because I'm second overall and I'm on the back side
- 52:05Speaker 2: of that snake. I want to guess who's in there? Okay,
- 52:08Speaker 2: I feel like Denver is in there. Denver was taken
- 52:10Speaker 2: in the sixth round as as as a winner. Oh, Washington,
- 52:15Speaker 2: they were taken as a winner. They were taken as
- 52:17Speaker 2: a loser late. I believe interesting, wow, late winner. I
- 52:23Speaker 2: think just because Sam, I hear you, I hear you.
- 52:26Speaker 2: I don't again, it's going to be so close.
- 52:27Speaker 3: Yeah. The New England Patriots, they were taken.
- 52:30Speaker 10: They were taken as both the winner and a loser.
- 52:32Speaker 3: Okay, I can see that.
- 52:35Speaker 10: Oh where were the Jets taken as a winner?
- 52:38Speaker 3: Okay?
- 52:39Speaker 2: And like the fourth round, the team that was that
- 52:41Speaker 2: I picked. I picked it in the same person picked
- 52:43Speaker 2: it as a loser. Alright, I picked it as a winner.
- 52:46Speaker 2: They picked it as a loser right after me. The
- 52:47Speaker 2: last two picks were the same.
- 52:48Speaker 3: Team, Houston Colts.
- 52:52Speaker 10: Colts were taken as a loser earlier. So the last
- 52:55Speaker 10: team was the Bears.
- 52:56Speaker 9: I took him as a winner.
- 52:57Speaker 2: Oh, you got to take him as a winner. They
- 53:00Speaker 2: they were bad last year. They were real bad, so
- 53:02Speaker 2: they've got to be better. Yeah, but better doesn't mean
- 53:04Speaker 2: even five hundred, right, and it's not get better.
- 53:08Speaker 3: Are you believing the Justin Feels come back and now?
- 53:12Speaker 3: Because your money is behind the course too.
- 53:15Speaker 2: Hit the last eight games of last year, he played
- 53:17Speaker 2: I'm awesome, Which is funny to hear that because I
- 53:20Speaker 2: don't remember that. I do because I was getting pissed
- 53:22Speaker 2: close every game because they had lost all games and
- 53:25Speaker 2: I was like, what's happening?
- 53:25Speaker 3: Why are they playing? Or why are they winning? O casion?
- 53:27Speaker 10: Yeah, I do remember that because I was driving me crazy.
- 53:29Speaker 3: Is that Justin Feels just just used his legs the
- 53:32Speaker 3: whole time? Yes, just saying I'm tired of this crap.
- 53:34Speaker 2: At first, it was Justin Fielts won't stay in the
- 53:36Speaker 2: pocket to throw a ball because that that offense was
- 53:40Speaker 2: him trying to play out of the shotgun and drop
- 53:44Speaker 2: back a bit one two step throw. And then they
- 53:47Speaker 2: were like, he won't even stay. Then they're like, we're
- 53:48Speaker 2: just changing how we're doing the offense. He's supposed to run,
- 53:51Speaker 2: which I think nothing changed.
- 53:52Speaker 3: He just ran. Let him do him.
- 53:53Speaker 10: But now they have a number one receiver. So that's
- 53:57Speaker 10: my team.
- 53:58Speaker 2: Cool man do or dies, Rams and the Cardinals losing
- 54:01Speaker 2: in the first time history of the league.
- 54:02Speaker 3: Two first draft picked for Losers.
- 54:04Speaker 2: I don't really have a big for sure winner though,
- 54:06Speaker 2: like a big playoff winner, but Jacksonville possibly.
- 54:10Speaker 3: I think, yeah, that's a good one.
- 54:12Speaker 10: Maybe, yeah, right, that's good Seattle winners.
- 54:19Speaker 3: Jacksonville stuck into the playoff last year like that's.
- 54:21Speaker 10: And they won. Maybe the Chargers, which cost me money
- 54:24Speaker 10: because I have the breaking Chargers.
- 54:26Speaker 3: Now we're seeing how you picked your team.
- 54:28Speaker 2: It's all it's all fandettas, it's all ones. So those
- 54:31Speaker 2: are my six teams.
- 54:32Speaker 3: We're gonna keep up with them.
- 54:33Speaker 2: I will Rams, Losers, Cardinals Losers, and the four winners
- 54:36Speaker 2: are Jacksonville, Seattle, the Titans and the Bears, which I
- 54:40Speaker 2: got three two NFC teams teams, but my two AFC
- 54:46Speaker 2: teams in a bad.
- 54:47Speaker 3: Division though, Yeah right, yeah.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Okay, well there's that. We're from the plane right now,
- 54:52Speaker 2: and how do you sign off? But we got to
- 54:54Speaker 2: come back anyway in a minute. Oh h Roger, we're
- 54:58Speaker 2: gonna toss over to our Now, what are you guys
- 55:05Speaker 2: most looking forward to this week?
- 55:08Speaker 10: It can be college, NFL, I'm sure with you guys,
- 55:10Speaker 10: it's the.
- 55:10Speaker 3: NFL always NFL. Yeah, see, it's.
- 55:14Speaker 10: Not for me because my favorite team is college.
- 55:16Speaker 3: I'm very much looking for the NFL. But so I'll
- 55:19Speaker 3: go first.
- 55:19Speaker 2: It's well Arkansas again playing a slightly better team. It
- 55:23Speaker 2: gives me a little hope that LSU lost, although I
- 55:26Speaker 2: think they'll get better. But it's you know, can we
- 55:29Speaker 2: actually be competitive in the SEC West? That to me
- 55:32Speaker 2: super exciting to watch Colorado play again against a slightly
- 55:34Speaker 2: better team.
- 55:35Speaker 10: Now, let's see when people are in Nebraska. Let's see
- 55:37Speaker 10: what Matt rule.
- 55:37Speaker 2: They lost to Nebraska lost too, though, so it's not
- 55:39Speaker 2: like Nebraska's awesome. That to me is exciting about Saturday,
- 55:44Speaker 2: So that that'll be it. You know, I was a
- 55:47Speaker 2: Cowboy fan last year because I bought them.
- 55:48Speaker 3: Yeah, this year, I'm not excited about the Cowboys this year.
- 55:51Speaker 10: I may put a future on them for the whole season.
- 55:54Speaker 3: That keeps me. Yeah, like winning the whole thing. I
- 55:56Speaker 3: like it. That keeps me in it. So you're most
- 55:59Speaker 3: excited about this weekend?
- 56:00Speaker 4: I mean it's gotta be the Cowboys. I mean you
- 56:01Speaker 4: just you just want to see how your team's gonna
- 56:03Speaker 4: be this year. I think, you know what, if I
- 56:05Speaker 4: can stay away from the Cowboys for one second, I
- 56:07Speaker 4: want to see how the Colts. I want to see
- 56:08Speaker 4: how what's his name, yeah, Richardson's gonna play. I'm really
- 56:12Speaker 4: curious to see how that turns out.
- 56:14Speaker 10: Well, I can tell you how it's gonna turn out.
- 56:15Speaker 10: You can save this clip.
- 56:17Speaker 2: They're not gonna win a bunch of games, but he's
- 56:19Speaker 2: gonna have flashes of holy crap. That guy at times
- 56:22Speaker 2: is really special. But he's probably gonna put out home different.
- 56:30Speaker 2: He hasn't played enough football though. Literally, Yeah, I think
- 56:33Speaker 2: that with Anthony richards he's gonna put up big fantasy
- 56:35Speaker 2: points and put up big stats. But they're not gonna
- 56:37Speaker 2: win a bunch of games because they don't Their two
- 56:39Speaker 2: receivers are Pittman Jr.
- 56:41Speaker 3: And Anthony Pearce.
- 56:43Speaker 2: And so when you have a rookie quarterback and then
- 56:45Speaker 2: I mean Pittman's probably a good number two.
- 56:49Speaker 3: Pierce is white. Well you know that works out.
- 56:53Speaker 5: Yeah, So you're asking what he's doing out there?
- 56:57Speaker 3: Is he confused? He's supposed to be, so I think
- 57:02Speaker 3: he's I think they'll win a couple of games. They shouldn't.
- 57:05Speaker 2: They won't win a whole bunch of games, but there'll
- 57:07Speaker 2: be some promise and there'll be some disastrous games. But
- 57:10Speaker 2: I think go put up good fantasy numbers generally, and
- 57:13Speaker 2: they'll be excited about next year.
- 57:15Speaker 3: I want to see Aaron Rodgers too. That is it
- 57:17Speaker 3: for NFL. I want to see Aaron Rodgers. Are you
- 57:19Speaker 3: rooting for the Jets or against the Jets like way
- 57:22Speaker 3: against patriots?
- 57:23Speaker 5: You can stand them because you but because you're a patriot?
- 57:27Speaker 3: Yes, yes, so Aaron Rodgers doesn't bother you though, Oh
- 57:30Speaker 3: I hate him?
- 57:31Speaker 2: Okay, So you now hate him because it's not you
- 57:34Speaker 2: hate the Jets because of him. You hate him now
- 57:36Speaker 2: because he's because he's on Jets. Yeah, but do you
- 57:38Speaker 2: hate the Jets slightly less because.
- 57:39Speaker 3: You used to like Aaron Okay, absolutely not. I hate
- 57:43Speaker 3: them more now maybe because.
- 57:44Speaker 2: You're it's so weird that you hate the Jets. The
- 57:46Speaker 2: Jets have never been nothing but a blemish on your butt,
- 57:48Speaker 2: I know.
- 57:49Speaker 3: And it's weird. It's still New York. I hate the
- 57:51Speaker 3: Giants just as much. It's weird because he's from California. Okay, true,
- 57:55Speaker 3: that's right, that's very bizarre. I'm rooting for the Jets here.
- 58:00Speaker 3: I'm rooting for you know what.
- 58:03Speaker 4: They made a lot of gambles in this whole deal,
- 58:06Speaker 4: Like they spent a bunch of money.
- 58:08Speaker 3: Spend a bunch of money.
- 58:09Speaker 4: Let's see if it if it pays off, like I think,
- 58:11Speaker 4: I'm excited to see if it pays off or not.
- 58:13Speaker 2: Week one, we'll be interested with the running backs because
- 58:15Speaker 2: Brisaw coming off the injury and also Dalvin Cook, who
- 58:18Speaker 2: wasn't really with the team that month. So you got
- 58:20Speaker 2: two guys who are really conditioned. At least, the expectation
- 58:26Speaker 2: isn't week one. They're shot out of a canon ready
- 58:27Speaker 2: to go as a back. But yeah, the Jets are awesome.
- 58:29Speaker 3: And who are his receivers? Garret Wilson.
- 58:32Speaker 2: Wilson Okay, Randall, Mercedes, Lewis, Sterling Sharp, it's a New
- 58:46Speaker 2: York Art star them all out, all the guy. So
- 58:50Speaker 2: Eddie and I are what we did with n Cuba
- 58:55Speaker 2: last year where we had the eliminator where every survivor,
- 59:02Speaker 2: same thing, same thing. Yeah, so you have every access
- 59:05Speaker 2: to every team, you pick them, they win, you move
- 59:07Speaker 2: to the next week.
- 59:08Speaker 3: You can never use that team again.
- 59:10Speaker 2: So Eddie as captain, the captain of our little team,
- 59:15Speaker 2: and you have picked.
- 59:16Speaker 3: The Baltimore Ravens this week.
- 59:19Speaker 2: Yeah, so they should win, right, Baltimore Texans at Houston.
- 59:22Speaker 3: Yeah, but you can never use.
- 59:24Speaker 4: Them again, which is kind of always My strategy is
- 59:27Speaker 4: like first things first, I look at the odds, like
- 59:29Speaker 4: who's got ridiculous? Right, so you see double digits, that's something.
- 59:35Speaker 4: Then you look at who they're playing. Okay, they're playing
- 59:38Speaker 4: a bad team, and you know, Lamar Jackson, I think
- 59:41Speaker 4: that I think we got we're pretty safe here.
- 59:43Speaker 2: I feel it's pretty safe too. But the question is
- 59:45Speaker 2: always are you ruining a pick for later?
- 59:47Speaker 3: That's another thing.
- 59:48Speaker 2: If because there are some games like some teams Minnesota
- 59:52Speaker 2: minus six.
- 59:53Speaker 3: At Tampa Bay thought about that.
- 59:55Speaker 10: You know, there's only a certain it's Minnesota gonna be
- 59:57Speaker 10: as good this year?
- 59:57Speaker 3: I don't think they are. Yeah, so that would be
- 59:59Speaker 3: a good one to take early. I don't know if
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: there's no such thing as a good one because any all.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: But even like.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: Denver at Vegas, right, and that's a crazy I would
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: never take the scat for that, right, But when are
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: you ever gonna pick Denver only when they're playing a
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: team like Vegas? I would not pick them for this
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: at all. But like Denver's a three and a half
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: point favorite. The Buffalo in the Jets game is that's
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: crazy that I don't know. That's just like you just
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: walk into a field and somewhere there's a little little
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: lamb mines.
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: You know, who knows. It's it's super exciting. What's your
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: prediction on that? That game? You gotta go Buffalo? Yeah
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: you got I have this, you know. I close my
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: eyes and I picture. I'm like, all right, I'm going
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: I'm gonna go Jets.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Really crazy, I've missed so many I'm just going the
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: opposite of what I really I feel.
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: Yeah, you gotta stop doing that.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with the Jets. I'm taking the Jets.
- 1:00:51Speaker 10: I get the points or no straight head on straight up.
- 1:00:54Speaker 10: I'll still take the Jets.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: I believe in Aaron Rodgers and a terrible offensive line
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: and old receivers except forget it will and running backs
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: and aren't healthy.
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: Oh god, I'm still gonna go to the Jets. Jets,
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: and you're taking the Bills, man, I'm telling you. I
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: look at the crystal Ball and I see Aaron Rodgers
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: just getting pissed, just getting pissed because things just starting
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: going his way.
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: I think the Bets are gonna the Bills are gonna
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: win this one. Yeah, I'm picking Bills so they're more
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: put together. Man. The Bills Jets still look like they're
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: trying to figure it all.
- 1:01:22Speaker 10: The Jets, at least we have a weird that's just
- 1:01:24Speaker 10: a weird color.
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: Yeah, the greens is weird. Helmets look like a lollipop
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: to me.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: Yes, and they're so shiny they're they're like a lollipop.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: Before we wrap this up, I did watch the Florida
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Gators documentary series.
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: I finished last night. Everybody watched it, Okay, so.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: I had a different expectation going in, but it basically was,
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: let's make urban myrele look cool.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: Ye was he a producer in this.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: I don't know it seemed like it, but it was
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: like I started to like him, and I'm like, oh,
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: I'm being tricked. I'm being tricked because he's an idiot.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: People that have worked with him that I.
- 1:01:57Speaker 10: Know have been like, he's like not a good dude.
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: So they didn't even talk about all the arrests. They
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: didn't any time, just brushed the circace.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: It was just like a documentary if the school were
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: shooting it on wins and losses with some t bow.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: It was not nearly as gritty as I thought it
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: was going to be. The Pountcy Twins didn't get focused
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: on like a hard day, were going party in Aaron
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: hernandez All. They didn't mention punching a guy.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: They didn't even show him right. They did show any
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: of his plays really like a couple of yeah, a couple.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: There was no focus. There was a you know, what
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: was he like in college? Did him at TiVo? Did
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: they fight? Did they get along?
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: The I I did enjoy it, but it was not
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: what the expectation was, which was going to be a
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: gritty series about Florida at that time. Mostly it was
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: just like a let's just follow the team along and
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: see how they do. It's like, what's the series they
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: do on Netflix where they Last Chance You. It was
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: kind of like that more than it was like behind
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: the scenes of a famous team.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: They got in a bunch of trouble. What did you
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: think of the culture? Like just that whole it was
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: almost military style culture, but it really was because forty
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: people got arrested.
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: No, no, no, I get but the training culture where
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: they were like literally beating each other up.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: They heightened that to make urban Meyer look like, look,
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: he's a displayer.
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: And when he did not give a yeah, so I
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: think that was yes, are they doing that? Yes? Okay,
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: let me ask you this. When he talks about when
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: he talks about why he turns the other way, Uh,
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: do you remember that part because because he did it
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: one time?
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Oh no, that's him looking for Uh he's like salvation.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: Urban He's like, I I disciplined a kid once and
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: then he like killed himself, so he'll never do it again.
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: That's like, Edie, you're a dad, so you're never going
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: to discipline your kid because yes, but you're really bad.
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: Right, No, of course not. Maybe if you would have
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: disciplined it but at the beginning.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: If you would have had some sort of discipline for
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: him early on, he wouldn't have fallen into the trouble
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: some trap that he did there on campus.
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: I feel like he thought really long and hard, how
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: he's going to answer that question? All of them, all
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: the questions the.
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: Whole documentary was him being like, wait, can we take
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: a rica here?
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: I still enjoyed it, But even the players that were
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: talking with that were constantly they were like, no names
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: except for Tibo Brandon Spikes. Yeah, you know what's true.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: I looked at Brandon Spikes and he only played NFL
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: for six years.
- 1:04:21Speaker 10: Yeah, I thought he played a lot more than that Patriot.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: Yeah, no name. I shouldn't say no name. I wanted.
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: I wanted Aaron indezrom the Great. I wanted.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: I wanted to hear him, and he had a bunch
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: of mental health struggles, like bad, like really went through it.
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: They didn't really talk.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: Yeah, there was just a lot that I thought they
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: were going to get into, because it's not like they
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: didn't have time.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: It was a sixth part was a six four part.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: Four, but the promos made us think they were I
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: wasn't just like man they didn't give us enough of
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: the sad or the promore like the team, like you've
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: never seen it and we know their history.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I did enjoy it.
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: I give it three out of five Gator Chumps, but
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: I was expecting a four, four and a five or
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: five out of five.
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll get a two point eight. I'm like you.
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: I enjoyed it. I thought it was cool.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: That's annoying to do point eight. Why you only get
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: half stars and stars?
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: Yeah? Who does that? Who does the point eight?
- 1:05:09Speaker 10: I do the same guys like, well, let me see
- 1:05:12Speaker 10: the first round.
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: He already took that, but how do you even color
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: in a gator at point eight?
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Got a couple of missing Okay, okay, go ahead, he needs.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: To go to the dentist.
- 1:05:25Speaker 9: No.
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: I liked it.
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: I thought it was cool, But like you said, my
- 1:05:27Speaker 7: expectations were like, Okay, I want to get in the
- 1:05:29Speaker 7: ins and outs of this and see what.
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: Really went down. But it was like a highlight of
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: the team.
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: For four years. That's all it was.
- 1:05:35Speaker 10: Yeah, which is cool because it was still cool.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: Yeah, it reminded me of a lot of things that
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: I've forgotten.
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: But but also they just kept losing even so close, and.
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: Or they would start off undefeat six or seven weeks.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: And then t Bow is like, we're just missing one. Well,
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: there's like four teams that could say that. Yeah, they
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: were one win away. But I do like t Bow.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: He's awesome dude. I met him a few times. I
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: do love that dude. So I'm just gonna say that
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: for the record.
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: I loved him. How they all got together at the end.
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: You had a little barbecue.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: They were like, wow, people wants to hang out with us,
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: and they were all surprised showed up.
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: What do you give it? I liked it.
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: I mean I like every football documentary, like just because
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: I didn't know much about Florida then, so I learned
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: a few things. But yeah, the urban miners stuff kind
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: of annoyed me a little bit, but I did. I
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: would watch one episode, then I would go on do
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: something else and be like, oh, I can't wait, get
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: back and watch it.
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: Same I binged it. So I still liked it. I
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: just feel like they didn't give me what they said.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: They were going to give you what you do three
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: and three point eight two point six.
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: I'll give it three gator jumps.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: Okay, So that is it for this week? That parlay?
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: We had to beat out me saying some stuff. Yeah,
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: but this this is a if you've.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: Ever liked I wanted promised smiles. I like it. That's
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: four game par four game parlay. We're gonna bet a
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: four game all right, we'll see you guys.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Follow us please at twenty five whistles on social media.
- 1:07:09Speaker 10: We need the followers. And Mike, is there anything else
- 1:07:12Speaker 10: I need to do?
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: All right? From the airplane, what you get for lunch?
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: Caesar salad?
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: What'd you get Southwest chicken salad?
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: You get that? It's called it any pasto? Oh? Is
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: this because you just came back from Italy?
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: No?
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: I always get it. It's like now you just eat
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: Italian meats and vegetables. That's not positive, but still Italian.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, you didn't order from the vegan menu.
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: Get I did not. I found the real menu. Now,
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: all right, thank you guys. We'll see you next week. Bye, buddy,
