- 0:27Hey everybody, good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30So today I'm going to go down a little bit of a philosophical
- 0:33Rd. because sometimes you just have to reckon with the fact
- 0:37that you do not understand why things happen.
- 0:41And it frustrates us, it hurts us.
- 0:44It leaves us heartbroken, sad, miserable sometimes, sometimes
- 0:49elated because we don't know how something showed up and it just,
- 0:53you know, fell into our lap. And then there are other times
- 0:56where we look at something and when we say, you know, gosh,
- 0:59this is such a tragedy. This is the worst thing in the
- 1:02whole world. But the truth is we just don't
- 1:05know why. Sometimes things happen and and
- 1:09we'll never know. Sometimes we just can't know.
- 1:12And no matter how hard we try to put the pieces together, they
- 1:15just don't seem to come together.
- 1:17And we struggle and we wonder and we wonder and it takes up
- 1:22and consumes our mind, our space, our creativity, because
- 1:25we're trying to solve a problem that it is humanly impossible to
- 1:28solve. And I genuinely mean that
- 1:31sometimes it's humanly impossible to solve something
- 1:34like this. Now, part of the challenge is
- 1:36that I, I personally believe we just don't have the capacity to
- 1:42understand some of these things sometimes.
- 1:44Sometimes it's just that in our nature to want to do something
- 1:48and solve it, but we just can't because there's just parts of
- 1:52the universe that are mysteries and we will never know.
- 1:56And then there are other times where we can put some thoughts
- 1:59into our head that can help us in the process of things and
- 2:04allow us to let you know the the events pass without holding on
- 2:09to them in the same way. And that's where we go to the
- 2:11guides of spirituality and trying to figure out, you know,
- 2:15in prayer, in faith, religion, spirituality, of what something
- 2:20means and how we're going to make it mean something from that
- 2:23vantage point. So today talking about that and
- 2:28saying, you know, if you have to, if you've had something
- 2:31happen and you have to make something of it to give yourself
- 2:34peace and you start thinking about it, Do you lean on your
- 2:38religion? Do you lean on your
- 2:40spirituality? Do you lean on your logic?
- 2:43Really doesn't matter. You can actually lean on all
- 2:45three of them. And sometimes that's what's
- 2:47necessary. I know for myself it is for
- 2:49sure. But there is one belief that I
- 2:52carry around with me that I learned many years ago, and it
- 2:55is the fact that we just don't understand the mission souls are
- 3:00on. Whether it's our own or, you
- 3:02know, other people, every soul has a mission that it's on.
- 3:06And we are not Privy to that. We don't have a guide book that
- 3:10comes with us. We are very much like an iPhone.
- 3:13We don't get an instruction book and we don't know, oh, this is
- 3:16what's going to take place. Or these are large events that
- 3:19you're going to experience or these are emotions that you need
- 3:23to go through in your lifetime. And because of that, we have,
- 3:28you know, this need to say, oh, I, I have to figure this out or
- 3:34whatever it is because we don't have the guidebook.
- 3:37And then we struggle. Well, if we recognize that we
- 3:41don't understand the mission our soul is on or someone else's,
- 3:45then it helps us to let go and say, well, I can see their
- 3:49actions. I can see they're in a state
- 3:51that's taking them in a certain direction.
- 3:53And maybe that's just the mission their soul is on.
- 3:56I used to say that in reference to one of my aunts all the time
- 3:59because she was so grumpy and she was always the antagonist in
- 4:03the group. And I would say, you know, she's
- 4:06her, her soul just has to be on this mission of being the
- 4:09antagonist so the rest of us can reach a different level of
- 4:12greatness by moving and, and recognizing I don't want to be
- 4:15that way. Whatever it is true or not, that
- 4:20belief has helped and served so many times in my life.
- 4:24Is it true for me? Yes, that's what I believe.
- 4:27It might not be true for everybody, but I definitely will
- 4:30tell you it's true for me because I can look at somebody
- 4:32and then I can have compassion for the fact that they are the
- 4:35way they are because I can say, wow, you know what?
- 4:38Their soul is on quite the mission.
- 4:40And it lets me pull back and not be judgmental in a negative way.
- 4:45It just lets me be observant. And it also lets me have grace
- 4:49for the things that I don't like about what's going on in some
- 4:52way, shape or form. So if you work towards that
- 4:57belief in one way or another in whatever's going on in your
- 5:00life, and you start thinking to yourself, I have to believe
- 5:05there are things I don't understand and therefore I can
- 5:09let it go. It's just, it eases the, the,
- 5:13the suffering. And that's what this is all
- 5:15about, easing suffering. So I hope that this brings you
- 5:18peace, whatever is going on in your world.
- 5:20And I hope that you guys have a very blessed, blessed day and I
- 5:25will see you all tomorrow. Bye.
