Barry: right over his shoulder. Jen: Anybody know what that says? Shaun: I mean, it's not about the size of the boat, it's the motion of the ocean Jen Goodness gracious. Come on. I mean your Barry: Just Jen: Well, first of all, why are you calling me my my government name on the internet? That's really aggressive. Barry: That's Shaun: your name is Jen. I'm pretty sure that people Assume Jennifer. Jen: They don't know. Barry: She doesn't like that, so Shaun: my gosh. Okay, Jen: Yeah. Shaun: Jennifer. How's your week ma'am? Jen: Anyways, my week my weekend was great. we took a trip down to SPI, South Padre Island, here in Texas. Shaun: Jealous? Jen: It was really nice. I was kind of shocked at how much different the beach was versus like Port A, Mustang Island, normal Padre Shaun: Mm-hmm. Jen: Island that we normally go to, because that's where we go like every summer. We go multiple times. And this is the first time that we've ever like added the two hours, the extra two hours to go down to SPI. And the beach was so much better. Like, Shaun: Much cleaner. Jen: no seaweed attacking me a hundred percent. That's for sure where we're going from now on. Yeah, because there Barry: is you think it's worth the two? Nah bro, you got me messed up. What, y'all are doing it? Jen: are no weird jellyfish trying to attack me. There's no seaweed attacking me every five seconds. You're wild every time I go. Every time we go. Barry: I don't ever see those, bro. No, I really don't. Where do y'all go? Jen: Just normally around that strip, like Mustang Island, Port A, that whole little strip. Shaun: Yeah, I've never seen Barry: main beach Shaun: a jellyfish either, but Barry: at Port A is nice. Yeah. Jen: Mm-mm. No. This sand is better. The sand is better. The water is clearer. It for sure is. Barry: It is. I won't argue that no no no. I will give you that it's better, but it's not worth a two hour, two and a half hour drive. Shaun: Sand is better. Yeah. Jen: A hundred percent. Especially because I am not one. Like I like the water, but I don't like water that I can't see into and it freaks me out and I don't like it. Barry: Nah. Nah. You can see in the port age is fine. Shaun: Mm. Jen: Absolutely not. You could he is gaslighting all of us, everyone. You go everyone needs to travel Shaun: Okay. Jen: once in their life to port A and tell this man you cannot see through that dirty water. He's lying to you. Shaun: You can s okay, you can see better through it than you can Barry: Thank you, B. Jen: But travel two hours south. Shaun: Galveston. Let's we can say that. Yeah. Barry: Galveston is like mud water. Jen: Maybe. Yeah, Galveston really bad. I'd have been there one time and it was an absolute no. Barry: No. I don't know, I guess Shaun: Yeah. Barry: I'm not I'm not Hasidny like you, Jen. I can Jen: Okay. Anyways. Barry: Port A is just fine. Jen: No, I do like Port A because it is close and it is convenient for us to just hop down. But I I do think we are Barry: You just said you'd leaving Port A behind. You that's a that's a previous chapter in your life now. Jen: for like for the big summer beach trip, I feel like we'll always go down to South Padre now. Barry: Good for y'all. I'm glad y'all liked it. Yeah, I'm not doing it. Jen: Yeah. We did. We had a great time. I Shaun: Yeah. Jen: could see through the water. We found really cool seashells. I know, right? Rudess. Mm-mm. Shaun: Stop trying to rain on her parade, dude. Gah. Let her live. Barry: She can live, I'm glad she lived. Enjoy that beach. Jen: Yeah. Mm-hmm. But it was interesting trying to this was our one first travel trip since L since my son. My son's diagnosis. So that was interesting, packing up like a whole pharmacy in case anything crazy happened. Shaun: yeah. Jen: so that was interesting, but also interesting to try and monitor him at the beach was wild because he has his Dexcom. Oops, that's on his arm that constantly does that. But he has to stay within 30 feet of his phone in order for it to track it. Barry: dang. Jen: Yeah. So every time he went out, he lost data connection. Barry: Mm. Jen: We weren't getting a reading. So we had to Shaun: Mm. Jen: set 15 minute timers for him to go out, come back, let it read. Barry: Same it's Jen: And he was just running low the whole time. So we just ha kept having to pump him full of stuff. So that was an interesting happening, but I will consider it a success because nothing crazy happened. We didn't have any crazy, I don't know, unprepared moments. So it was good. It was good. Worth the drive, Shaun: That's awesome. Jen: don't listen to Barry. Hit up South Padre Island. The beach is better. Barry: Yeah, y'all head down there. There means more room for me in Port A. Head on down to South Padre Island. Jen: That's fine. That's Shaun: In the grand Jen: fine. Shaun: scheme of things, like Texas is freaking massive, dude. It's only two extra hours. So or two and a half. Two, two and a half. Barry: it is. I'm good with that. No. Jen: Yeah. Yeah. And I don't even think it was a full two extra hours. I think it was Barry: No, bro. Jen: like maybe an hour and a half. Shaun: Really. Barry: I don't like the beach Jen: Yeah. Barry: to begin with, so no, you ain't gonna give me drive two extra hours for no beach. Jen: Mm. Although I will say word of caution, we did have to go through a border patrol on the way back, which I did not expect. And and that was an interesting experience. Yeah, that was an interesting experience. They did Yeah, it mm, it was interesting. Barry: Boom. Not worth that. No thank you. Nah. Shaun: No we're not Barry, what are you talking about? You wouldn't have any problem. Barry: I don't want to go through that. Jen: Yeah. Barry: Good. Too much stress. Jen: But all in all, it was a great experience. Yeah. Yeah. They had a great time. Shaun: True. That's awesome. Yeah, that's really good. Yeah, nice to get away after everything that's been going on. Barry: That's good. That's good. You and the kids, man. Kenny, you all have a good time? Jen: Yeah. Although I was so scared when we came back because I we came home. We didn't get home till late. And then we walk in. Uh-huh. We came back a little early. Barry: I came back yesterday? okay. We thought you might come back today. Shaun: Mm. Yeah. Jen: We were supposed to come back today, but we decided to come back day early and just give us more time to get prepared for the week. Barry: okay, okay, gotcha. Go right on. Jen: But we came back and the house was like eighty-six degrees. And Barry: no. Jen: I was y'all know the nonsense that has been happening lately. So I was like, no way, we took two days to go have fun. And Barry: no. Y'all's AC has been e Jen: the life just said, actually, here you go. Here's another upset. Thankfully Shaun: Peace. Jen: I it wasn't an upset. I think because it stormed here over the weekend, right? Like there was a storm on Friday or Saturday. Shaun: No. Barry: Not for us. I don't think so. Shaun: I mean maybe there, yeah. Jen: No? Well I thought there was. And I thought maybe the power kicked off or something during the storm and it kicked off our AC settings. Hmm. Barry: We never I don't think we had anything that if it rained maybe, but I don't think so. Shaun: Mm-hmm. Jen: That's the only thing I could think of is if it like stormed, it Barry: But Jen: the power kicked off or something and it kicked off our like AC settings. Because Barry: Mm. Jen: when I got home and I checked Shaun: Mm. Jen: it and it said 86, I immediately like turned the little dial thing. and yeah, it's a nest. Barry: Y'all got what, like a nest or what? Yeah. Mm. Jen: and I turned it down and it immediately kicked on. It was immediately cool, like blowing cool air. Barry: That's good. Jen: So something wasn't wrong with the AC, but for whatever reason, it just wasn't on. Yeah. I don't know. Barry: It just wasn't on. Hmm. Shaun: Do you have eco mode on? Jen: I don't think we do, but maybe I'll check. Shaun: Because mine does Barry: I don't have a nest. Shaun: that. Like if I go away and I don't change it from eco mode, it'll go really high like that to conserve electricity. Jen: Change it. Uh-huh. Ooh, okay. I'll check that. Shaun: That might be what it was. Jen: Hmm. Okay. Maybe that's what it was. But I had a Shaun: Maybe. I don't know. Jen: whole meltdown. When I walked in the door, I was like, no. I mean, it was still like two Shaun: Yeah. Instant panic. Yeah. Barry: Yeah, that would be brutal. That at right at night too. Jen: more hours of heat before it fully cooled down. But I was yeah, but I was freaking out. Like, you've gotta be kidding me. Thankfully that was not the case. We're fine. Yeah. Barry: Fully got down to a reasonable temp. But now Yeesh. That's good. Glad to hear Shaun: Jeez. Yeah. Can't do Barry: it was only Shaun: that. Barry: just not on. Jen: Yeah, for whatever reason. But that was my weekend. Shaun: Man. Barry Nice. Barry, how about you, bro? Barry: Bro, it's we recorded what last Tuesday. I feel like I've Shaun: Yes. Barry: done like almost something Jen: Mm. Barry: every day in between then and now. Jen: He's tired. Shaun: Mr. Popular. Barry: I am tired. I don't know about that. No, I t I was telling you Shaun that I started hooping again last Wednesday. Jen: So fine. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: I was getting in them boys last week. Put Yes. No. Shaun: Ayy yo, pause. Jen: He's trying to brush up so he can beat you in the in the shootout, Shaun. Barry: I'm not worried about that. I told you. Shaun: Okay. Barry: But it was fun. Jen: Okr. Barry: I was hoping. Jen: That's fun. Shaun: Nice. Getting in those boys. That's cool. Barry: And then getting in them boys. They know it's shout out to the hoopers. Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: Y'all know who you are. But we did it again tonight too. At like four o'clock today. Yeah, bro. today I was Shaun: I'm sure y'all did. You had fun. Jen: Yeah. Barry: tired, man. Just happy to be out there. But I think Thursday, low key maybe, Friday, Saturday I think is yo, my brain is tired. Jen: Why are you struggling? I thought you said you had a lot to say. Shaun: No, right. He said he said I've been doing stuff every Jen: What what's happening here? Shaun: week and he's like, what did I do? Barry: So tired. Saturday I was gonna help our friends tint their car windows. But our f Jen: That didn't work. Barry: it did not work because our friend didn't order the right tint kit for her vehicle. Cause she's got a baby, bro. She got a baby. She got that baby braid. She does. Shaun: Why are you saying our friend? Call her out. I'll do it, Sarah. Jen: Mm-hmm. Call her out. Yeah. She's got a good excuse, okay? Leave her be. Shaun: Sarah bought the wrong tint. Barry: And it I mean, it's very common types Jen: Yeah. Barry: of cars that are very closely named. It was an honest mistake. So but we did do something fun. Y'all Jen: Yeah. But you guys got to do something fun in instead. Yeah. Shaun: It was. Yes. Barry: yeah, what was your thought on breakfast period? I just say it that way so you know what it is. Shaun: Yeah. it was dope. A great spot. Like I said, honestly, we can make it a weekly thing and I'd be down with that. Like we can just go back and check it out, try different stuff. breakfast period. It's called breakfast period. Breakfast and there's a period at the end. Yeah. Barry: I'm down bro. It's a good spot. Yeah. It's what it's called breakfast period. Well it's breakfast but there's a period at the end of it. Yeah, that's Jen: Where'd you go? really? With a period at the end. Barry: why I always say breakfast period. Shaun: Yeah. Incredibly nice owners. super great. Yeah. Barry: They're always there. They are awesome. Shaun: whoever that jerk was that was causing a ruckus when we first got there. Yeah. right. Jen: Fight him. Barry: A-hole, bro. Okay, so here's the thing, Jen. They they have it's it's like a Willie's esque style. Like you go to a counter and you Jen: Okay. Order. Barry: order, but this one's a little more organized and they seat you once you order so that people aren't cutting in line to go get a seat. Jen: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Barry: So you have I would say at least every time we go, we see somebody try and do that, and the owner's very nice and just says, yo, this is not how it works. You Jen: Can't we do it? Barry: wait in line, we will get you seated. Once you order and they hold you up at ordering if there's no seating available because they don't want people like it just keeps things rolling more smoothly. Jen: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Barry: Well, this dude went in and tried to cut and they were still gonna seat them, but it wasn't where they wanted to sit. So he threw a hissy fit and like she just asked him to leave. She was like, No, take your business elsewhere. Yeah, that's what we said too. So they're like literally the nicest people. It's a husband and wife that own it. Jen: Good for her. Yeah. Shaun: Mhm. Right? I love that. Yeah. So nice. Barry: She was there. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: I think they said he was at the game. I think he was at the U T game. That's what I assume. Shaun: Mm. Barry: I think I heard her talking to another of the customers and he asked where the the owner, the husband was, the co Shaun: Yeah. Barry: owner. But yeah, man. Anybody who's in the New Braunfels area, check out breakfast. Breakfast Shaun: Go check it out. Yeah. Jen: Yeah. Barry: period. That's how you gotta search for. If you just type breakfast, it's gonna give you a lot of recommendations for breakfast in New Braunfels. So put the period at the end. but yo, I gotta Shaun: Yeah. Yeah. Great place, great food. Jen: Not gonna work. Yeah. Barry: ask about the specific drink you had because I am not a fan, Shaun: Yes. Barry: but I've always curious what it would be like. So Shaun: Yeah. So they have like a batch made old fashioned and it's Jen: Mm. Shaun: a cinnamon crunch old fashioned. Incredible drink. Like on the rim of the glass. On the rim of the glass, yeah. Jen: Interesting. Barry: Like crushed up cinnamon toast crunch on the rim. Like that's the rim is crushed up cinnamon toast crunch. Jen: In it? Shaun: Yeah, like Jen: Okay. Shaun: you saw how fast I drank. It was really good. Super good. Yeah. Very smooth, Barry: Yeah, he did down he did down it. But he did say that he liked it. So I was Shaun: very cinnamon forward. like very I I don't know how else to describe it. Like you can get the sweetness that you would get from Cinnamon Soast Crunch, but it's not like a a gross sweet that you get with alcohol sometimes. Yeah. so yeah. Yeah. Barry: Mm. Yeah. Just it doesn't dominate yeah, exactly, yeah. Jen: Sugary sweet drink, yeah. Well balanced. Shaun: Very well balanced. Like an old fashioned should be. Like that's the entire point of an old fashioned. Barry: Yeah. Jen: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Shaun: yeah. So Barry: And the bitters. Shaun: definitely Jen: Mm. Shaun: gonna be something that I get every single time that we go. Or at least if they have it, I'm getting it. Barry: Okay. I just Yeah, Jen: Ooh. Barry: I think they usually do have that one. Shaun: Yeah. So if I get that and a carafe of mimosas, don't judge me. It is what it is. Yeah. Exactly, yeah. Jen: I surely won't. Just invite me and I'll drink it with you. Barry: Yo, live your life. We were there for a while too. And it was nice on Saturday 'cause I I'm assuming people were out of town 'cause it's usually packed. We went Shaun: Yeah. Barry: at like eleven o'clock and it's usually like a long line to get it. At least usually Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: about a forty five minute wait. But there was like two or three families in front of us in the one dickhead left. Yeah. Jen: That was thrown a bit. Shaun: Yeah. Exactly. Barry: So Shaun: That's the kind of spot that you would go and be like okay with the wait. Like I'm I'm cool with waiting there. Yeah. Yeah. Super efficient. Barry: yeah, well well worth it. And they move it quickly, like it goes fast. Like I think we waited like fifteen minutes. Jen: Yeah, it sounds like they got it down. Barry: Yeah. So now we like Shaun: Yeah. So really nice. Barry: it. It's like Becca's favorite spot. She's always wanting So we did that Saturday morning into the afternoon. Then Shaun got some high profile s tickets to the Round Rock Express game. We felt like s fancy. Bruh. Jen: Ooh yeah. I'm gonna need you to get a round two of those because I was Shaun: Hold on hold on. Hold on. Hopefully. Jen: so jelly that I couldn't go. Shaun: It would have to be next year because the season's almost over, but yeah, hopefully so. That's really cool. Barry: Yo, Jen, it was dope. It was real dope. We Jen: Not helpful. Barry: got it to park in the special parking lot right by the entrance. He had it all. this is the only way I would I told him. I was like, this is the only way I like to go to really for real. Jen: Did you feel very fancy, Barry, the whole time? Pinky's out the whole time. Shaun: Mm. Ver yeah. Yeah. Barry: Swanky. But we had a whole nice Jen: Ha Barry: little Chinese food buffet with Jen: Ooh. Barry: it was like a sweet and s I don't even it wasn't even sweet and sour chicken. I don't even know. It was good. It was like a spicy but sweet sweet and spicy is more what I was yeah. Shaun: Mm. What yeah, it wasn't sweet and sour. It was like a spicy orange chicken kind of. Jen: Ooh. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: It was good with some peppers and onions in it, some good fried rice. Jen: Num num. Not what I would have thought. Barry: Then what else? Egg rolls. But yo, they had like this nice it was called the intel box. And we just like chill we and him chilled in there like the whole time because then we got two drinks included. Shaun: Basically. Jen: He said, I'll stay where the drinks are, thanks. Barry: So Shaun: Yeah. The AC and the drinks and the food, I mean psh. Barry: and it was just nice and AC, bro. What we let it Jen: Mm. Barry: what was like the s end of the seventh, I think we had it down to the seats we had. And they it was nice 'cause there was Shaun: Yeah. It was something like that. Barry: at least a breeze and then the sun was down. So it was enjoyable by when we actually ended up going down. Shaun: Seats were phenomenal once we got there anyway. Yeah. Yeah. Extra innings. Barry: Yo, for real. It was a good game too. It went into extra innings. We were there what to eleventh is I think we went too. Jen: wow. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: It was it was a cool game. Good stuff. Jen: That's fine. Barry: But that was a good time. Sunday, my oldest turned fifteen years old. Gosh, bro. Shaun: Happy La Birthday. Jen: That's wild. Barry: Big one Muth That's your new name on this pod. Big one Muth No. She's just the oldest. But she had five of her friends. No, I mean no. Shaun: Big one Muth Not the biggest, that's good. Not the big one. Jen: That's so funny. Barry: We went to my gosh, Top Golf. Had a good time. Jen: Fine. Barry: Had a little bit of a snafu with I mean, you know me, y'all. I'm trying to save money out here, right? So Jen: Mm. Barry: Becca if I actually found a promo code, which was a hundred dollars off this thing that we ended up but it's really wasn't a outrageously priced. But she gave we the promo code worked when we s prepaid for it. Jen: Mm. Barry: Well, they gave me the final bill and yo, it was so hot. my god, we picked like the worst time of day to go. Like, yo, I was Shaun: Yeah. Barry: literally just standing there, sweat was just dripping, bro. Jen: no. Barry: But now they the girls had a good time. But then they didn't apply my promo to the final. Jen: Mm. Barry: And like Becca was like, yo, let's just go. I'm hot. I'm ready to get out of here. And they just like handed me a bill and I didn't really look at it. And I was like, you know, did the tip. I Jen: Mm. Barry: was I feel like that's more than it should be. But I was like, man, I don't know. So but then yo, I got home. Jen: I gotta go. Barry: And we were like looking to order pizza. And I started looking, I was like, nah, bro, this ain't right. This is I know it should be way less than this. So I called their little number. They hooked me up with I'm assuming it's like a con like a customer service, right? But it was nobody at the actual location. The first dude wasn't that helpful. He was like, No, that's not sounds like you charge what you should. And I was like Jen: Sounds a U problem. Barry: It's like I Shaun: Hmm. Barry: was like, are you sure? And I was like, and I said something, I was like, and they told me alcohol's included. He was like, nah, alcohol's not included. Yo, I went back and looked at the actual like confirmation. Jen: Description. Barry: It says in the little thing, because we did like a hundred dollar prepay to and it would like get us a hundred dollars worth of food. Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: And then we would just add on anything after that. But that got us two bays for twelve total people if we wanted that many. for two and a half hours. So, in addition to the cost of the golf. But they didn't apply it. So then I was nah, bro, I called back and I was Yeah, I don't think they applied my promo code. Shout out to Bill. Bill was super helpful on their customer service. And he was like, Jen: Ayy. Go Bill. Barry: Yeah, let me look into this. Shaun: Nice. Barry: He called the actual location. He was like, I'm gonna hook you up with so and so. talk to them. I forget the first person's name, but long stories or long stories short, they did agree with me that. pro or the promo didn't get added. So they had to have like a salesperson. Shaun: Nice. Jen: Good job, Top Golf. Barry: I don't know. I'm waiting to hear back how they're gonna just get me my refund. Yeah. Jen: Reimburse you. Yeah. Barry: But I mean still really good experience. So two people that took care of us were great. Shout out to AJ and Devin Topgolf New Braunfels. They d they were good. If y'all out there see Shaun: Nice. Barry: they'll take care of ya. Shaun: The new one. I haven't been there yet. Yeah. Barry: The newbie. Yeah, it's fun. Yeah, we sh I was like, I should invite Shaun, but I like, I don't know, it might be weird bringing Shaun: Nah. Jen: Then he said, Mm, you know what, fine. I don't want to hang out with him. It's a no for me thing. Barry: Shaun to a thirteen year or fifteen year old birthday party. That's I was like, just gonna Our little one got to bring one of her friends, so it was the four of Shaun: Yeah, no. Too many kids. Nice. Barry: us at one bay and then the eldest and her friend group at the other bay. And I I whooped them all. You know me. No don't hold back. Barry was at the t I mean, I do. Jen: Mm mm. Get out of here. Yeah. Shaun: my god. You actually play golf. Jen: I mean technically she does too, so Barry: She does. And one of her friends did too. They were both on the golf team. So Shaun: Mm. Barry: but now it just had like a collective leaderboard since we were all like in the same party. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: So then they came back and we had a slumber party. Gosh. Six Jen: Not for the faint of heart. Barry: she teenage girls in a house, bro. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: Sounds stressful. Stressful and loud. Sounds Barry: It is extremely Jen: Yeah. That's a no for me. Yeah. Shaun: very loud. Barry: Very yeah, we just let them have the hole downstairs and we retreat to our room. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: said, don't knock, don't ask me for anything, don't Barry: Just help try and keep the just though we come down f periodically to like clean up as they go 'cause I'm not trying to get up and have a trashy house. Just Shaun: Gosh. Barry: maintain it throughout. It's way easier. So it wasn't too Jen: True, true. Barry: they're not too bad. Nothing bad happened that I'm aware of. So they were up to at least like two. I know that I heard them at one point. Jen: You'll find out Shaun: Mm. Jen: all the crazy things they did when you she's like thirty. Yeah. And to be like, so remember that one time we actually Barry: I mean, once she's an adult, yeah. Shaun: Yeah. Remember my fifteenth birthday? Barry: I hope I mean nah, they all seem pretty chill. They all seem pretty chill. Shaun: We weren't actually downstairs. We were just playing sounds of us downstairs. We were gone. Barry: No no, heck heck Jen: Sounds of us being there and we left. Barry: No, they can't go anywhere without their phones and we track their phones, so I'm sure Jen: That's true. That is true. Barry: they could probably figure a way around that, but till I know that, that's what I can believe. But Shaun: of course I could. Yeah. Man. Jen: Mm. Barry: that was yesterday until this morning. And then yeah, like I said, I just went and played basketball again. Shaun: Nice. That's cool. Jen: Fun fine. Barry: Wasn't as good today. I was tired, but like I say, and then Saturday night I started kinda having a little sore throat and Jen: Keep those germs over there. Barry: I'm sure I mean Shaun: Yes. Ain't nobody trying to get sick, dog. Jen: Mm-mm. Can't handle it. Barry: I probably shouldn't have wanna play, but I was like, Man, I sweat it out. I'll be all right. Shaun: Yeah. I mean that's true. Barry: Right? That's what they say? I don't know. It's probably one of them things Jen: Mm-mm. Mm-mm. Barry: that ain't true. Shaun: I don't know. I feel like it's true. Jen: Feel like your body needs rest. Shaun: It needs rest, but I feel like if you sweat it out Yeah. Barry: I'll hopefully sleep good tonight. Didn't it like speed up the process, no? Shaun: Sweat it out, take a hot shower, Jen: Okay. Barry: Right. Shaun: and then give your body a a lot of hydration and rest. Jen: Is this man logic that I'm hearing right now? Shaun: No, it's proven science. Yes. That's a real Barry: No, it's proven science. Yep. I would agree with that. Jen: Is it? Okay. Shaun: thing. It's the way that everybody does it. Ginger ale and VIX, and you're good. Yes. Jen: Sure it is. Mm-hmm. Ooh, I do agree with the VIX thing. Put Barry: I've Jen: VIX on the Barry: never Jen: bottom of your feet, put socks on. I'm telling Shaun: Mm-hmm. Jen: you it's I am telling you it's a miracle. It works. Do it. Shaun: It works. Every Barry: That sounds intense. Shaun: single time it works. Barry: For what? Jen: I haven't tried the onion yet, but I hear the onion is even better. But exactly. But yeah, apparently Shaun: no, I I won't do that. Yeah. Yeah. Jen: if you do shoot, sorry guys. If you put mix Shaun: What Jen: I've never, I'm never gonna not apologize for that. I know. I know, because it is rowdy. Shaun: It sucks because they never get to hear it, but we do. Barry: No, I wish we could put it in to make them hear it, bro. Jen: Anyways, you put VIX on your feet and put socks on when you're sick, and apparently it like pulls the toxins out of your body. It shortens your sickness. Barry: We I've never used Vic's rape vapor in my life. Jen: I love VIX. Ugh. Shaun: What? Barry: Never in my life. Shaun: You've never used VIX. Jen: They have Barry: No. Jen: VIX tissues. Mm. Yep. Shaun: Mm-hmm. The puffs. Jen: yeah. Shaun: They also have like these shower discs things that you can do. The tab, yeah. Throw them in the shower and it steams and gives you light real clear. That's great. Gotta try some gotta try some VIX, bro. Jen: The steamers. Mm. So good. Love it. Mm-hmm. It is. Mm-hmm. We're gonna make you a VIX care package and just send it to your front door. Here Barry: Maybe one day I'll try it. Maybe. Jen: you go, Barry. Barry: I'll try it, I guess. Shaun: Yes. That's good stuff. Jen: Mm. Barry: Mm. How about you, man? Like Shaun: Cool. Barry: I say, I had a lot going on. Shaun: Mine wasn't very eventful, I don't feel like. Saturday was really the only day that I Huh. Yeah. Saturday was really the only day that I like got out Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: of the house and did stuff. you kind of broke that down, came over to your house to do the tint, which didn't get done. Went and had brunch, and then came home and watched the U Two game. So one and Barry: How do you feel about your team? Shaun: So okay. I am cautiously optimistic, as as normal. it was Barry: always a good thing. I mean, I feel like Jen: Okay, yeah. Barry: most sports fans are I I know I always feel like that. I try and keep reality there. Well that's true. I would agree. It is, it's always gonna be there yeah. I mean that's faith. Shaun: Mm. Dallas Cowboys fans are not like that. Every year's their year. They're going into the Super Bowl every single year. Yeah. I don't know. Also, Jen: It's their year, yeah. Shaun: A and fans, I don't know. They're they're also kind of out there with how? Pretty realistic. right. Barry: My buddy, he's a pretty realistic A and fan. He gets pretty na he kind of like yeah, they don't Jen: I feel like A and is just a cult that disguises themselves as Barry: That's how the cowboys kind of come across. Jen: a, I don't Shaun: I mean Jen: know. Barry: Yeah. Shaun: Kind of kind of around there, guess like drinking that Kool-Aid. Jen: Mm drinking the Kool-Aid. Barry: Have it. Shaun: but no. I mean I feel good about it. there's a lot of national championship buzz, like that they would make it to the championship. Barry: How did Colt play? I didn't even or not Colt, what's his name? I'm tripping. Shaun: Colt. Arch? Barry: Arch. Shaun: I was like, Colt that was years ago, bro. Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: Yeah now. Shaun: He played pretty well. the second quarter got sloppy on both sides of the ball on defense and offense. Barry: I think that was a quarter I watched and that was kinda yeah. Shaun: Yeah, they both sides of the ball got pretty sloppy in the second Barry: Mm. Shaun: quarter, but they came back in the third quarter and they they locked it in again. I guess that's where the cautious part of it comes into play because you've got Ohio State this coming up weekend. Cannot take your foot off of the gas at all. Barry: Can't have no backquarters, man. Nope. Shaun: So Barry: But at least it's in U T. Shaun: I know. And this whole time, like I'd I'd been thinking that it was in Ohio for some reason. I don't know why I thought that. But then yeah, I looked again and it's it's here in Austin. So it's gonna be great. Barry: Should get tickets, bro. Should go watch that game. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: I'll get tickets. You gonna go? Okay, exactly. Like I'll buy my ticket if you buy your ticket. Yeah. Barry: No. I'm not buying tickets for that. I'm nobody's UT Fan. Nah. No, we were looking at that at Jen: Ha ha ha. Yes. Barry: brunch. Four figures for any kind of seat. Mm-hmm. Yeah, buddy. I just bro well they get theirs from the university, yes. They hand out a certain number per student. I'm assuming it's probably like a lottery system, I would think. Shaun: Yeah. For for bleeds, for nosebleeds in the four figures, yeah. Jen: Ooh. That's wild. How do students get to go? Like, is there like a specific student section that they get like yeah, specific pricing? Okay. Okay. I was like, how in the world are students that go Shaun: well students yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Jen: there affording to Shaun: Yeah. Barry: no, they get those. I'm I Jen: go to the games? Barry: maybe may have to pay something. I really don't know, but I'm assuming it's probably very low dollar, if not free. Shaun: It's super yeah, it's super cheap. I'm sure that a lot of them are probably free. And then the ones that aren't free are super cheap. So I don't know. But I will Barry: I don't know. Shaun: I would love to go. I I feel like the game that I really want to go to is the AM game, but that's in that's like in college station. Yeah. It's not, but it's also yeah. Barry: In college station. no, but it would be insanely priced a bitch. And this is one of Jen: College station. That's not that bad of a drive. Barry: the largest Jen: Yeah. Barry: stadiums in college football. Mm-hmm. it's on a Friday night? Shaun: Insanely pricey and it's on Black Friday. Or Jen: Mm, didn't know that. Shaun: is it on Thursday? No, I think it's on Friday. I think it's on that Friday. and yeah, not trying to get out in that traffic either. So not doing that. But yeah, I feel pretty good about the season. We'll see how it keeps going. The SEC as always is super tough. So you Barry: it's a brutal. Shaun: can never, yeah, you can never get too too optimistic, I guess. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: Gotta remain realistic. But yeah, really good one. Jen: Gotta remain grounded. Shaun: And then yeah, Saturday night went to the baseball game Round Rock Express. incredible tickets. So these are like the best tickets I've ever had to anything. Yeah. like Barry mentioned, got Barry: Yeah, it was a really good experience. It was a really good experience. Shaun: to park right there in the VIP parking. Got to ride the elevator up to the next floor. Yeah, Barry: Right to the little intel box. Shaun: go to the Intel place. Very much so. I was like, hmm, do I belong here? Jen: They were standing a little taller that day, he said. Barry: It was nice, bro. Right. Jen: These peasants get out of my way. Barry: This is where I love it, bro. I love it. Shaun: Yeah, but super Jen: that's so funny. Shaun: cool. And then even like after we went and like had like the buffet and drinks and just kind of chilled out for a while watching the game up there, went down to the actual seats where we could have had right behind home plate. Yeah. Yeah. Barry: And they were right behind the the home plate, like fifteen rows deep. Jen: Super cool. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: That's awesome. Shaun: And you know, stadium seating is usually very compact and very uncomfortable. Barry: Yeah. Jen: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Barry: Nah, this was Shaun: Especially for me. I'm a big dude. Yeah. But this super nice. Like the seats Barry: a nice little ballpark, man. Yeah. Shaun: are super nice. Like very comfortable. Like little tables there next to you while you're Barry: Mm-hmm. Shaun: sitting there. So Jen: Mm. Shaun: great spot. ten out of ten definitely recommend. Hopefully I get some tickets next year because really fun. Yes. Yeah, for sure. Barry: Yeah, buddy. I would do it again. I mean, Jen: Crush fingers. Barry: I don't always assume that I'll be invited, but I would always do it again. Jen: we're invited. Shaun: I mean, yeah, I mean Jen: Don't worry your eyes at me. We're invited. Shaun: y'all are always invited, of course, absolutely. and then Sunday, which was yesterday, Sunday, I dude, like I said, I don't know what's been going on, but yesterday and today I've kind of felt like crap. not I don't think I do. Like I'm like really think it's a sick thing. Barry: Telling you might have what I have bro. I got a little cold or something. We did all day Saturday. Jen: Mm, I'm just saying, y'all hung out together. Shaun: I I swear I think mine's hydration. Jen: Goin' around Barry: Just drink more water, Shaun. Shaun: I know. I need you need to drink more water. Jen: But don't just drink water, get some electrolytes. Shaun: I am I need to place my Sam's order because I need more lunchables for work too. so I need more I need more lunchables and uncrestables for work. So I got some I got power aids too. Yeah, but they're like four dollars each, bro. I'm not trying to do that. No. Barry: Crazy bro. Yo, have you they they have like adult lunchables, bro? Or I d I don't know if it's a H E B. No. I guess. They're good though. Jen: much. They do, but yeah, they're not yeah, they're not great. Shaun: Just because I can doesn't mean I want to. So Barry: True. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: I need to. I need to do that and I've got some Power Aid in my cart, so I just need to place that order so I can pick it up afterwards tomorrow. Jen: Have you tried the Power Aid Zeros? 'Cause we just started getting those 'cause obvious reasons. And they I don't know. I like Gatorade Zeros. I didn't really like I don't think I'm gonna order again. Shaun: I haven't. I've tried the Gatorade Zeros, but I haven't tried the Powerade Zeros. Yeah. Really? Jen: Yeah. Shaun: What is it just like a a I it's gonna sound weird because it's liquid, but is it like the texture of it? Like does it feel weird? Okay. Jen: No, no, I don't think it's that. I think it's literally just the flavor of it. The only ones Shaun: Mm. Jen: that the kids will drink are blue, but they also Barry: What color is it? Jen: have a red and a purple. And they were like, no thanks. So I have a ton of red and purple. Shaun: No. Barry: They just drank the bowl. Hmm. Jen: Yeah. And they only drank Shaun: Mm. Jen: the blue. So think big cases. Yeah. Barry: That's the one problem with like those the big distribution yeah. Shaun: Like multi packs. Yeah. Jen: Yeah. My I should have gotten just like one of them and had them try Shaun: Mm-hmm. Jen: it and see before buying the big case, but didn't do that. Barry: Mm. Devin million. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: Yeah. Yeah. Shaun: Live and learn. But Barry, I don't like that look you gave me when I asked about the texture. That was weird. It's it's liquid, but yes. You know, like have you ever had liquid jello? Like that's what it feels like sometimes. Yeah. Jen: Mm-hmm. Cause some no, but some of them have like a slimier texture. Some of them have I know it exactly what he's Yes. Yeah. Yes. Barry: I don't know what you're referring to. It's liquid. Why do y'all talk? Have a had liquid jello. What does that mean? Shaun: Like jello that's not solidified yet. Well, I'm I'm just saying, like, have you ever had it before? But that's the that's the texture, like. Jen: Jell O before it's Yeah. Barry: Ew, why would I have that? No, I've not had that. No. No. I eat my jello solid. Jen: Yeah, I know what you mean. Yeah, Shaun: Consistency that Jen: no. Shaun: it gives you. Barry: I don't want no liquefied jello. It's disgusting. Shaun: This guy swear. Jen: You've never had a melted jello shot? Barry: What ew no. Jen: It's a shot with jello stuff in it. Shaun: Sorry, sorry that we're just not Barry: I'm not doing that. Shaun: ballers like you. Barry: No. I just thought about that. I Jen: Mm, yes. Barry: just I mean, drinking is I mean, I do drink, but it's not like Shaun: We know. Barry: I don't enjoy drinking like that. Jell O shots really they need to be cold and it needs to be a solid jello. I'm not trying to have no liquid sliminess. I hate shots. Yes, you are a hundred percent correct. I hate Shaun: You're a pansy when it comes to shots though. Like you never do shots. Drives me crazy. Jen: That's so funny. Barry: shots. I don't Shaun: Dude, you just gotta do some shots every once in a while. Jen: Yeah, Barry: I mean I will do Jen: every now and then. Barry: a much once a while, but I'm not gonna go like pound like six or seven shots. Like people will be doing way too much. Exactly. Give me one or two every Jen: No, I'm not trying to throw up in two minutes. But yeah. Shaun: You don't have to. Yeah. It doesn't have to be six or seven. Just do like four. Barry: now and no, I don't even want four. One or two every now and again. Sure, I'm down. But I don't need to do four. No. I'm good. Shaun: So like that's real lame. I'm just gonna throw Barry: Sure. Shaun: it out there. Barry: I I c I will take it. Jen: Moi, moi. Shaun: Peer pressure, peer pressure. Barry: Cause I hate being hung over and you could say whatever you want, that ain't gonna hurt my feelings more than the feeling that I have. Shaun: D you're not gonna get drunk off of four shots. Barry: I may not get drunk, but it ain't gonna feel great after the day the next day. Bro, if you don't I don't enjoy Shaun: Not gonna have a hangover. Goodness gracious. Barry: it now. Shaun: You just gotta build up the tolerance. Barry: I don't want to. Jen: No, thank you. Barry: No, good. Jen: I don't know, my tolerance Shaun: man. Jen: is nowhere anymore, so I'd probably be drunk after four shots, if I'm being honest. We haven't Shaun: We we actually haven't gone out in a while. Yeah. Barry: I mean, I guess it just depends over how long. Sometimes too much, too fast. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: It's true. Sometimes too much too fast can get you there really quickly. Jen: Like when you don't carb up Barry: And I don't like that. Jen: before we go out and then you get served a million and a half espresso martinis and now you can't drink espresso martinis anymore. Shaun: Still Barry: Something like that. Shaun: regret that day. Barry: man. Shaun: That is one of the greatest regrets that I have of the last few years of my life. Gosh. Yeah. Yeah, I did get a glimpse. Barry: I would imagine. It was a good one. It was a fun night. Jen: Yeah. Yeah. You missed a an interesting time. I mean you got a glimpse, just a small glimpse. Barry: I did. Yeah, you saw the beginning. Shaun: Yeah. But Yeah. That I can't find for the life of me. I don't know where it is. I don't know. Like, did you send it in something? Or I feel like it was. Jen: And I sent him a video that I don't remember. Barry: nice nice no. Jen: Which is wild. I'll have to scroll through. I think I sent it in the group chat that we had. Shaun: maybe that's what it was. Because I know that I've looked in our text thread and it wasn't in there. So maybe it is in one of the group chats. Okay. And Jen: I think it's in there. Yeah, I don't think it was in that one. I think it was in the group one that we were all in. I'll have to go scroll through my text and see if I can find it. Barry: Have to check it out. Shaun: who knows which group chat that was. I feel like we've gone through like three or four different group chats at this point. I don't know. Consolidate. Yeah. Just one. Yes. Just have everybody in one group chat and just have it over with. Jen: Yeah. We really need to like make one. Yes. All right, y'all. If you want to say something, it's in here. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Barry: There probably are quite a few. Jen: Hop in and out when you want. Shaun: Yes, man. But yeah, that was essentially my week. Goon do two. I mean, there okay, so let's say this. I have been driving a lot, like with the new job Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: Mm-hmm. Shaun: and stuff like that, because I'm going into the office. And I have found two things that I really don't like about my car that I I guess I just never noticed before because I wasn't driving it as much. Jen: Mm. Barry: Mm-hmm. Shaun: But do you know what the low temperature on your car is? Like if you set it to where it says low, do you know what that temperature is? Barry: Mm-hmm. Jen: I would assume mine's at like sixty, because I think as soon as I Barry: I would agree. Jen: dial it up, it goes to sixty one. So I think it's at sixty. Barry: I think something like that. I think mine goes in twos. Shaun: I assume the same thing. And mine is 61, and I hate that. I know that's a first world problem. I know that's a first world problem. But yes. Jen: It's an odd number. I get it. Barry: That is. But it shows you sixty one? Shaun: No, it says low, but if I if I dial it one Jen: But when you dial it up, it goes sixty two. Shaun: notch, it goes to 62. And I hate that so much. It goes in ones because if I hit it one more Barry: No, may does it go in twos or does it go in ones? Really. Shaun: time, it goes to 63. Yeah. So the low is 61. Jen: How interesting. Shaun: And I that drives me crazy. I don't know why. But like now that I know that that is the case, I can't stop thinking about it. I think about it every single time that I get in my car. Yes. Has to be an even number. I I cannot do odd numbers. Barry: You're funny, bro. Jen: Yeah, you can't. Mm-hmm. It's like the radio volume, it's gotta be on an even number. Or a five. I'm okay with fives too. Shaun: Even numbers or yeah, intervals are Jen: A five. Shaun: five. That is very true. The other thing, no 13. Absolutely not. It can be at 12. No, 20. If you're at 17, it needs to go ahead and be at 20. Barry: No thirteen, no in the volume. Seventeen. Why not? What if that's the best volume? But what if that's the best volume? Jen: No, I'm I can settle at eighteen. For our car? Shaun: That's not the best volume. I honestly I would never know if that's the best volume because it's never gonna be on 17. It's not possible. Not possible. Barry: What what if it was? You might be shorting yourself on a better experience. Jen: Mm mm. Mm mm. Yeah, it wouldn't be a better experience because it's on an odd number or yeah, an odd number. I would just be thinking about it being an odd number. Yeah. It would not be better experience at all. Barry: What if it is? But but that's not the number is it Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. And I'm gonna be thinking about it being on an odd number. Exactly. Not at all. Barry: Yo. Jen: So Shaun: The other thing that I really don't like that I've just noticed is my mirror selector. Like you know how you can select your mirrors. Like if you have power mirrors, you can select like the driver mirror or the passenger mirror. Barry: Mm-hmm. Jen: yeah. Mm-hmm. Shaun: It doesn't have a middle setting. So it's either on the yeah, it's either on the driver or the passenger. Jen: that's awful. Nope. That would drive me. Mm-hmm. Barry: so it has to be on one or the other. Yeah. What? Shaun: Drives me absolutely crazy. And I don't Jen: Yeah. That would drive me cra Yeah. Shaun: know how I haven't noticed those two things about this car in the what four years that I've had this car. Or five. God, five years. Five years that I've had this car. And Yeah. Barry: Dang. Now just now you j now I think you're just looking for reasons. I was gonna say I think you're just looking for Jen: Now even more reason. Yeah. Now even more reason to get a new one. I support you, Shaun. Those are BS. Get you a new car. Barry: reasons to s get rid of your car, Shaun. I mean you don't need to make up reasons, bro. Just go get you a new car. Shaun: man. But that's the whole thing. Like I was never planning on getting I was never planning on getting rid of this Jen: Get you that sixty base temperature. Barry: For real, bro. Go find that. Get that middle. Shaun: one. I was gonna have this one and the new one. I was just gonna get the new one Jen: that's so funny. And the new one? Well Shaun: so that I have an EV and it's easier. Barry: Now you just trade it in. Get you your E V. Go get you that Hummer E V, bro. Turn it in and get you the big boy. Jen: Just or keep it and when you're feeling angry at the world, just go drive it Shaun: Is true. Jen: around. Shaun: You don't want me driving if I feel angry at the world. Jen: Ha ha ha Shaun: You heard what I said I needed before this episode started. Jen: true. True. Shaun: man. No. But yeah, I don't know. We'll see. Maybe I'll keep it. Maybe I won't. That that will be a really ridiculous reason to trade in a car. I will say that. But Barry: It sounds like you don't enjoy it. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: It it does bother me. Barry: Don't let it bother you. You can't change it, Shaun. What's your Jen: Might as well get the equity off of it. Yeah. Shaun: That's Barry: circle of influence? You can't change that part of your environment. Shaun: true. Barry: So what are you gonna have to change? The environment of where you're at. Shaun: That's true. Jen: Mary dropping the knowledge. Mm. Preach. Shaun: Facts. Barry: Go get you that get you that nice step Shaun: Done that before. You sometimes just gotta change it. Barry: up E B. Shaun: Yes. So we'll see. I don't know. But that that was essentially my my week. Mm-hmm. Okay. Barry: Yo, speaking of being pissed off, Saturday night, that game was bullshit. Jen: Tell me all about it. Shaun: Yeah. Whoever Jen: What made it BS? Shaun: whoever in the box for the refs or that Barry: Yo, the boy the Big Jen: No no Barry: Ten, am I and I am a Big Ten guy. Like Penn State is my team that I root for. Shaun: Yes. Barry: But yo, they made the Big Ten look like the most amateur conference on Saturday night. The X have you seen the explanation that they put out? Shaun: about it crossing the line or the clock, the other clock. Barry: Well that well, I mean, I and they're not wrong in what they're saying about the guy jumping from out of bounds, but their statement of the clock being a different Shaun: The other call yeah. Barry: one that was not seen is ludicrous and just it's Shaun: Yeah. Absolutely. Barry: just horrible. Like it's good Okay, so Jen: What do you mean, explain? The clock that wasn't seen. Shaun: Okay, start from the beginning. What game are we talking about, Barry? Tell about the game that we're talking about. Barry: all right, sorry, Jen. All right, so this so Jen: Yeah, catch me up. Barry: while the we were at the baseball game, actually we w Shaun was keeping track. Jen: You were watching Shaun: Yeah. Jen: the football game. Okay. Barry: Well I mean yeah, you multitask sometimes. Just check in some scores. Shaun: Exactly. You gotta keep track of the scores. Jen: Heard, heard. Barry: But it was Michigan in western Michigan, in Jen: Okay. Barry: in University of Michigan, they call it the big house. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: Which should not even this should not have even been a thing that happened. Barry: They were a twenty seven and a half point favorite for the game. So they should have won by twenty eight points or more, according Jen: Wow. A lot. Okay. Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: to the the betting books. They struggled the entire game with them. Their offense was atrocious. They couldn't move the ball for nothing. Jen: Hm. Barry: Western Michigan, I did they kick four field goals, I think, or did they get a touchdown? I don't even know. Shaun: I don't know. Barry: But it was a very slow game. And but me and Shaun were it was when we had just moved down to the the seats at the stadium. He checked Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: the score and he was like, Yo, Michigan is down twelve to seven Shaun: Yeah, it's wrong. Barry: with thirty five seconds left. I was like, No way. He was like, Yes. Jen: Wild. Barry: So we were literally, I was like, all right, we got to keep up with this. Jen: Ha ha. Barry: So he were he's like, I think at the time, like he refreshed and he was like, they just lost. And I was like, what? So I pulled out my phone, same thing. Like it showed it all zeros. And we were like, game's over. And we didn't even think nothing of it. But then after the baseball game ended, Shaun was like, yo, Michigan Jen: Wait a minute. Barry: won. And I was like, no, they didn't. We both saw zeros. Shaun: Yeah. Yeah, they did. Barry: He was like, I don't know what happened like we had no, it was like what? Four innings happened at the baseball game so it was like thirty minutes later. Shaun: Yeah. Over the course of those yeah. Jen: How did that happen confused? So explain their clock thing. Shaun: So okay, so Barry: All right, Shaun. So Shaun Shaun will tell you what happened. Shaun: so essentially what happened is they were driving the score was I think twelve to thirteen. Was it twelve to seven? thirteen twelve, that's right. Okay. Yeah, Barry: Twelve seven. Final score ended up thirteen twelve. Mm-hmm. Shaun: so it was twelve to seven. And then Michigan had the ball at the end. They threw a Hail Mary pass, and when the time ran out, no one had touched the ball on the clock. So they threw the Hail Mary pass. It Barry: Balls still in air, Jen: Okay. Still in the air. Shaun: Still in the air, the clock is at zeros. On yeah. What all of the synchronized Barry: all zeros on the clock on what the T V people everybody on national television across whatever. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: clocks said, there was no time left on the clock. Because they go through this whole Barry: Zeros across the board. Three zeros. Shaun: before every single game, they go through this whole synchronization process to where they know all clocks are the same. Barry: They synchronize it eighty five minutes before the game, all clocks to make sure that they're all on the same Jen: Mm-hmm. Yes. Mm-hmm. Barry: loop. Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: So there's no question Shaun: And Barry: and doubt. Shaun: with this pass, no one had touched the ball. So Jen: Okay. Shaun: the pass is still in the air. No one has touched the ball. Barry: It was a probably like a three feet away from anybody touching it. Shaun: Yeah, there's a Western Jen: Okay. Shaun: Michigan player jumping up to catch the pass. Clock is at zeros. So Jen: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Shaun: when he catches the ball and it comes down, he's out of bounds, which is okay. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: Everyone thinks game over. Players are Barry: Should have been game over. Shaun: Players are celebrating for Western Michigan. They're running around. They're taking their helmets off. Michigan players are taking their helmets off. Their their heads are low. All this stuff. Because the game is over at this point. Pause. Jen: Mm-hmm. Should be over. Okay, pause. Can I ask a Barry: It it is over. Jen: girl question or just non-football Shaun: Go for it. Barry: Course Jen: question? So it's not like basketball or something like that where you can shoot and if it goes, even throw the buzzers off. Barry: As long as it's off your fingertips. no. So if so I think the quarterback threw the ball with like five seconds on the clo or four seconds on the clock. Shaun: Yeah, there was like five seconds on the clock. Jen: But the timer went out while the ball's in the air. Barry: If you have to get if Shaun: In the air, yes. Barry: if the timer goes off in the middle of a play, that play goes until Jen: It doesn't count. Barry: a dead ball happens. Yes. So you can Shaun: That play goes until the yeah, until the dead ball. Until the play is over. Barry: continue, even if Jen: Okay. Barry: the clocks were it was at all zeros and the quarterback still hadn't Jen: And he caught it and kept running. Barry: thrown it yet. Jen: okay. Barry: The play would still continue to go on until there's a dead ball. So either somebody goes bounds, tat yes. As long as the ball is snapped before the clock. So Shaun: play still's going. Yeah. As long as the ball is snapped, then the play keeps going. Jen: Okay. Okay. So because he went out of bounds, that was it or what made it no longer? Shaun: No. No, so here's the thing. That's Barry: No. So no, that's not even no. So sh you would like the you would Shaun: that's not even the thing. Barry: just again, this game should have been over by all means of any Shaun: It the game should have been over. Yeah. Jen: Okay. Barry: logic and reason. Jen: Okay. Shaun: Western Michigan got absolutely screwed in this situation. Because yeah. The clock is at zero. Barry: They got hosed and just cheated. So Jen: Okay. Shaun: He catches the pass. Game is over. Everybody is going their their separate ways. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: Refs start blowing whistles. And they go and review it. And they say that there was one second left when the ball became a dead ball. Yeah. Barry: And this is live in the game. So this is just they just come back on the field and say, actually there should be Jen: Slow up everybody. Barry: one o'clock one second left Shaun: Yeah. Barry: on the clock. It didn't explain anything in the game, just said based on review. There's one we're putting one second back on the clock. So they get to run Shaun: Didn't explain it. Yes. One second left on the clock. Well w Jen: There's one second left. Barry: the same play again. Shaun: They run the same play, same Barry: There was a hold on the one of the d defensive linemen they should have called. That would have ended the game. They didn't call that. Shaun: That would have ended the game, yeah. Through the pass, another Hail Mary, because they're still like sixty yards away from the end Jen: Yeah. Shaun: zone at this point. Another Hail Mary. Clock is at all zeros because there was only one second left. So as soon as the ball snaps, the clock starts. Once the Barry: This time the clock is at all zeros before the ball gets in the air. So it's whatever happens is as a result of the ball. Mm-hmm. Yep. Shaun: clock starts, it's over at that point. The that's the last play of the game. Whatever happens here, it's over. Barry: Yep. Whatever result there is. Now if there w is a defensive Jen: Whatever happens, happen. Barry: foul on the end of at the end of a game and there are zeros, then the offense would get to run one more play. All zeros would still, but Shaun: It'll be they would get to run another play. But they didn't call that defensive line. Barry: that didn't happen. Shaun: It didn't happen. So quarterback has the ball, throw another Hail Mary. This one is at the front of the end zone. A Michigan player catches it, touchdown. So now Michigan has won the game because Jen: Mm. Shaun: the refs put one second back on the clock where none of Barry: They cheated him, bro. Shaun: the synchronized clocks had any time that was left on Jen: Wild. Shaun: the clocks. Barry: So then the Big Ten like conference came out after the game. Well, I think it was last night or early this morning, and said they Shaun: Yeah, I saw last night. There was another video with their clock on it. Barry: and they released like this video of their their review team discussing the play with some random ass clock that nobody knows where it's at and what it's secretized to. Jen: Then nobody was synced to. Yeah. Shaun: right. Yeah. Barry: They were like, So you see the one second when because so what happened was the defensive player ended up his left. foot was out of bounds. So Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: him jumping from an out of bounds position when he touches the ball, the ball is then dead at that moment because you're Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: not allowed to be out of bounds and then touch the ball. You have Jen: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Barry: to s start from an inbounds position. Yes, but that is irrelevant because Shaun: Which is okay because there were zeros on the clock. But Barry: there were zeros when nobody had touched it. So in Jen: There was no time left. Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: reality, when he touched it, the game should have been over as well. Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: 'Cause he did catch it, but he shouldn't have touched it being an illegal player from out of bounds. But they said he did it. No. Jen: So they're saying because he touched it out of bounds, it made it Shaun: No. They're saying that there was a cl there was a second left. Barry: They're saying 'cause their clo their clock on their clock, some random mysterious Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: clock that they were using to verify. They tried to say it was th no they synced it up with the clock, the game clock in the stadium, which okay. It's Shaun: Absolute craziness. Barry: craziness. Jen: even though everybody in the stadium, including both players on both sides, saw the clock in the stadium Barry: Everybody in the world saw that it should have been over. Yes. And I even saw like a Shaun: Yeah. Anybody watching that game knows that it should have been over. Michigan knew it should have been over. Jen: Okay. Barry: I want to say it was an NFL ref, and he said in the NFL, if it's under two seconds, they will not review any clock. They go with what is obvious. There's no like synchronizing. They go with the the TV clock. And they said they sh they in the NFL, they also will go with the T V clock over an official game clock that nobody can see. 'Cause Shaun: Yeah. Barry: it creates doubt just like this situation Jen: Yeah, because nobody can see it. It creates controversy. Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: just did. So, no, it's atrocious, bro. I feel so bad for those kids at West and Shaun: Mm-hmm. So complete BS. Yeah. Yeah. Jen: That's wild. Well, okay, but I mean Barry: a coach. Yeah, but they've handled it so gracefully. They haven't said Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: a bad word about Jen: That's good. Barry: anybody and like kudos and hats tip to them, man, 'cause Shaun: I think they are put petitioning the Big Ten though. Yeah. Jen: Yeah, good on them. I was gonna s that was gonna be my question. Can Barry: I hope they do. They deserve to. Jen: they come back and petition the ruling or whatever? Barry: You can like petition the or like challenge the end of the game and I Shaun: Yeah, you can challenge it. Barry: d the way the Big Ten is handled it, they're gonna say that not that Jen: It's fine. Barry: they did their Shaun: Yeah. Barry: they, you know, looked into it and the results gonna hold. 'Cause if they flip flop back, yo, it's horrible. It just Shaun: Which is just more N C double A corruption. Yeah. Jen: Yeah. Barry: makes the big Big Ten look so amateur. It's just Shaun: Yeah, it Jen: Yikes. Barry: frustrating. Shaun: looks really suspect. Jen: Why do y'all think that Barry: 'Cause now when those kind of things happen in the future, like people are always gonna question, Well, what clock are you using? Like Jen: Yeah. Shaun: Mm-hmm. Jen: Hundred percent. Well, exactly. It opens up the door for anybody else to say at the end of the game that there's any kind of Hail Mary moment, I wanna see the official clock. You're gonna Barry: Yep. Jen: create controversy for every single game moving forward, whether it was a close call or not. Yeah, let me let's see the official clock. Yeah. Barry: Cause you're creating doubt in your decision making. It wasn't though. It was obvious. Shaun: Yeah, it was incredibly obvious. Barry: It was blatant. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: So clearly favoritism or some sort of corruption going on in the background. But why do y'all think that Michigan was playing so horribly with supposedly being one of the best? Well, with Barry: 'Cause they're not that good. 'Cause they're not that good. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: them supposed to be having the odds, like such extreme odds. Like what happened that they were so terrible? Barry: Well, 'cause so a lot of teams will s they schedule what they kinda call like a warm up game. So they they schedule Shaun: Warm up games. Barry: a lesser or what should be a lesser opponent. It doesn't always end up Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: that way. Michigan was on the wrong end of another one of these types of games. What was it like eleven years ago or something like that? Like in twenty fifteen, I think. Appalachian State upset them at their home to Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: start the season and they are a very small school. But Yep, App State, no play, bro. But watch out. But Shaun: A knows about App State. Yeah. I don't it was it was disgusting. Barry: So they should have beat it them handedly. But what a lot of people are saying, well, if they would have let Michigan lose, then that kills the Big Ten. Like it cr it kills their credibility. And it w they should have. They lost. I as a Big Ten person, as a fan, I Shaun: Yeah. It is what it is. Jen: Yeah. Barry: don't care. They're not Jen: Yeah. Barry: gonna be that good, I don't feel. Like it's not gonna change them and make them a better team. They played Shaun: Yeah. Barry: bad. And sometimes it just ain't what you think it's gonna Jen: Why do Barry: be. Jen: okay? Is this I again I I am not a huge sports person up to this point in my life. I feel like this last year has been the most like sports watching and into whatever, but you know, I'm out here trying to support. No, I'm trying to learn. I'm tired of this grandpa. It's too damn bad. You keep digging. Barry: Jim's like y'all, I'm tired of this. I don't have I don't have Love Island all year. Y'all got sports most of the year. Shaun: I'm tired of this, grandpa. Two damn bay, keep digging. Jen: anyways, but it really is. It's the first, and I'm trying to learn the nuances of every single different game because they're all different. But it seems like, can y'all tell me, is this like the norm? Or is it I feel like every single sport that we've watched thus far soccer, football, basketball, everybody's like the reffing, yes, the reffing recently, from what I've ex been experienced, is so ridiculous. Barry: you're talking about like controversy? It ha I don't wanna say it happens every season, but it does happen. Jen: Seems very Shaun: Happens. Jen: corrupted in all spaces. Barry: There are well, yeah, there's probably some yeah, probably some type of controversial call every year. I would think, Shaun: Yeah. Barry: in most most college Jen: Mm. Barry: and professional sports. You Shaun: I think things like this, like the Michigan situation. Barry: This one is just a I don't it was just like again, it is very World Cup esque with like you're telling me one thing, but my eyes see a whole nother truth. And so Jen: Yeah. Are telling me something different. Yeah. Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: I'm gonna believe my eyes because you're not gonna convince me otherwise. Jen: Yeah. Barry: Like I can see it. So I believe that. Shaun: Yeah. I think some of these are Jen: Not out here walking by faith, Barry. Barry: No no. Give me logic every day of the week. Shaun: I think some Jen: Ugh Shaun: of these are Vegas issues. I think that's where some of come down to. Barry: Mm, embedding too, you ain't wrong there. Jen: Mm. Shaun: Because the thing is, if you have a twenty seven and a half point favorite and people are betting on Western Michigan, that's gonna be a ton of money that they're gonna have to pay out. Barry: lose bro and people bet it on that under team, that team that was gonna yeah. They're gonna lose a lot of money. 'Cause the odds Jen: Yeah, that's true. That's true. Money lost. Barry: on that are gonna be super, super high. Shaun: Yeah. So if you do get a situation like this to where you can be like, Okay, well I mean, it looks like we might be able to pull this off and fudge it a little bit. I think that's probably the way that you go. Yeah. Jen: Mm hmm. Mm hmm. Take it so that these people that we know don't lose a crap set of money. Yeah. I'd I'd believe that more than most things. Yeah. For sure. Barry: Money, capital, greed, capitalism and greed, bro. Always goes back to it. Always goes Shaun: And now these millions of dollars that they might have had to pay out. Yeah. Barry: back to it. Shaun: Especially if like people have these l long parlays and things like that where they can make a ton of money betting on the underdogs. Barry: Mm-hmm. Yeah, what if that Jen: Yeah. Barry: was somebody's end of their parlay on a Saturday, bro? Yo, that would that would piss me off. That's why I don't bet. That's why I don't put my money out there, bro. Shaun: Exactly. Yeah. That crushing. Absolutely crushing. Jen: Yeah. Have y'all seen the ads for all of the new like betting things now? Like the betting apps. What is it called? That one. I see ads for that everywhere. Like they bet on everything. Even like Barry: dude, they're crazy now. There's like calcium and those like Yeah. Yeah, that's Shaun: Calci's like they're they're on it. Yeah. Jen: Love Island was there was stuff you could bet on for Love Island. Like I feel like we'll get we're getting a little ridiculous with our betting people. Barry: They'll bet on they'll bet on random stuff. It is. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: I would agree. I'm not I mean, I say that as non better. I don't I know a lot of people that do it. It it all is, Shaun: It's it's a money grab. Yeah. Jen: Yeah, I know. Barry: 'cause you're you're gonna lose more than you're gonna win most times. Shaun: absolutely. Jen: Most of the time. Barry: The odds are not in your favor and that's why that's why people create betting businesses, 'cause it's they're not. Jen: I know the odds are not in my favor in this life, so I Shaun: Exactly. Jen: just don't do it. That is not my kind of luck. Shaun: And the way that they pull you in is a lot of time they give you a credit. So you sign up, they give you like a fifty dollar, yeah, like a fifty or a hundred bucks a credit. Exactly. Yeah. Barry: Mm-hmm. They'll give you like free money to bet. Cause they know you're gonna bring it to them tenfold. They're willing Jen: Mm. But then that then they hook you, yeah. Yeah. Barry: to give up that three or f three three hundo. Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: Cause you know Jen: Yeah. Barry: they're gonna know you're gonna drop a grand trying to make that up or or make more. Yeah, bro. It's crazy. I just Yeah, no. Shaun: Yeah, trying to make it back. I said I'm gonna make it. So I do actually have a would you rather Jen: Hmm. Hmm. Ooh, Shaun: about sports. Now I saw this one on Jen: let's hear it. Okay. Shaun: on Instagram. Yeah, I saw it on Instagram. Jen: Instagram straight flips. Sorry. Yeah, apparently I don't need to respond because he knows my answer. Okay. Barry: Shaun said he already knows Jin's opinion on it too. Shaun: What? Yeah, I do Jen, I do know your opinion on it. I do know your answer. I am gonna Barry: I wanna hear Shaun: change the numbers though, because I think the number that he gave is a little bit too polarizing, I guess. but Jen: Okay. Barry: Is it a real number? Five hundred million. That's a lot of money. Shaun: his number was five hundred million. Five hundred million is absolutely insane. I'm taking the money every single time. Yeah. Jen: That is a lot of money. There's okay. Shaun: So I'm gonna take it from five hundred million to fifty million. So fifty million dollars that's still Barry: Okay. Jen: Okay. Still a lot of money. Shaun: insane amount of money. For $50 million, would you never have any other, like for the rest of your life, exposure to any sports at all? You can't watch it, you can't play it, no video games, you can't go to your kids' games, you can't listen Barry: Dang. Shaun: to it on the radio, no kind of access to sports for the rest of your life, for $50 million. Barry: Fifty mil? I would think I would probably still take the money, but that would hurt. Shaun: Right. See, Jen, I think you would just take the money. Like you you could Jen: Yeah. Shaun: care less about sports. Yeah. Yeah. Barry: Yeah, yeah, Jen, I do, I agree with that. Jen: Yeah, 'cause then I'd wouldn't I mean, even for my kids, like put in music or something else. Put in something else. Shaun: Yeah. But what if they love what if they love sports? They love basketball, they love football, they want to go and play soccer. Barry: I was like, I don't know, that's why I don't know. I didn't mind my daughter does love basketball and lacrosse. Shaun: Like yeah, you wouldn't be able to watch any of their games. Jen: But also Barry: Yeah. Jen: that's my thought too. Like what is considered sport? Like can I run or am I not allowed to run? That's considered Shaun: No no running. No running for sport. Yeah. Jen: but like running for my health. Barry: What for what about for fitness? Jen: Yeah. Shaun: For fitness, we can say that you can you we can let's okay. We can say that you can exercise like in a gym, but no outside running. Barry: But I couldn't go play golf, is what you're telling me. Jen: Okay. Shaun: cannot play golf. Jen: Nope. That sucks. Barry: That's not cool, bro. Jen: You'd just change your your you'd just change your hobbies. You'd get into something else. I know, but you could still go to the gym. That's why I clarified. Barry: But I like being active, bro. And I a lot of my activity is sports. Shaun: How do you change it? Yeah. Jen: That's why I clarified. I think there you could still do like racquetball in the gym. There's Barry: I would have to give up hooping. No, that's a sport. Shaun: No, you can't. That's a sport. Jen: but you said inside the gym. Shaun: I said you can exercise inside of the gym. Jen: That's considered exercise. No swimming? Shaun: That is a sport. Nope. No swimming. Swimming Barry: That's what I'm saying. Shaun: is a sport. Barry: But I can't do that for Jen: What if it's leisurely? Barry: fun. Like I can't go swim in a river just to chill and swim in Shaun: You can float. Barry: a river. Shaun: You can float. You can just like hang out in the water, but no swimming. Barry: What if I what if I had d to swim to save my life, Shaun, I'm just gonna die? Shaun: You can't be in that position. How did you get out there? Barry: If I'm floating, what if I get turned over? Then I just drowned. I can't swim no more. What? No, then no, I'm not giving no. 50 million ain't worth it. Hell no. She can't do it either. Apparently. No. I couldn't. No, I couldn't. I couldn't. Shaun: You're screwed, buddy. Unless unless somebody comes and gets you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No swimming. Jen: Tell Becca to go get her lifeguard lessons 'cause she's gonna have to get you out. yeah, no, I still feel like I take the money. Especially if I'm walking away with the fifty, if there's no like Shaun: See Jen: you lose half to taxes. Like if I'm walking away with fifty mil, we are become gonna become the most musical family ever. Like you're all gonna take Shaun: Yeah. I d yeah, fifty like actual fifty mil, yeah. Barry: No bro. I couldn't do it. Jen: so many lessons. We're just gonna deep dive into that life. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: Could do it. Shaun: I Jen: For sure. Shaun: same. I think for fifty I don't think that I could do it for fifty million. Five hundred, I think I could Barry: fifty million now. Five hundred? Yeah. Easy, yes. Shaun: yeah, I'd I have to take the five hundred million. But for fifty and that's crazy to say fifty million dollars. I don't think I could do it. Barry: Fifty million, no, I wouldn't. I wouldn't. Jen: Mm-hmm. Yeah, I don't think Kenny would. Shaun: Yeah. Be so bored. Barry: I wouldn't. Not for that. That's and I thinking about my family too. Like Shaun: Yeah. Barry: like we go to the Celtics games and like that's a big Shaun: Yeah. Barry: fun thing for us to do and I'm gonna keep that for my kids as long as they'll do that with me. So Nah. I'll struggle in Jen: Yeah. Yeah. Shaun: No. Although the Celtics suck, but yeah. Barry: life still. Just go into more debt to go to these games. Jen: To go to the game. Yeah. Shaun: Let's make it happen. Barry: Mega Epper. Shaun: man. Yeah. I had to ask all that. Yeah, because I saw that and I was like, 500 mil. I'm taking the five I'm taking the money. Yeah. I'm taking the money. But I was 50 mil? Barry: No, that was that's a good one. That would be yeah. No, five hundred mil, that would be an easy one. I would just move to Jen: Hmm. Yeah. Barry: a island where I wouldn't have to worry about anything and I wouldn't even have that contact with the outside world. I just live my life at Jen: Keep it away, just d complete detox. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: the slowest pace ever. Jen: There you go. Yeah. Yeah. Shaun: Yeah, just buy my own island at that point. Just buy my own island. Nobody's Barry: Exactly. Like that was I speaking of, so when I was driving Shaun: here. Do everything. Barry: to Sean's house on Saturday, there's a private airport outside of New Shaun: Well, yeah. Barry: Bromfels and there's like little like G four planes out on the and I told Shaun I was like, That's when I know I made it if I had my own plane. That's like one thing I Shaun: Yeah. Barry: would like spend a lot of money on. I hate Shaun: Yeah. Barry: going to airports. If I could show up to a tarmac and just peace out. Shaun: Just get on your plane, just walk up there. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Barry: I would travel so much. Yes. Yo, Jen: yeah, for sure. For sure. That's where you like Barry: if I could do that. Jen: Yeah. On my TikTok. I feel like my TikTok algor algorithm, like I maybe have expensive taste or something. They think I got more money than I do. Because there's for sure. For Barry: Yo, I would still be shopping at Amazon, bro. I'd still be showing up with some Amazon t shirts, going on by jet. Jen: sure. But there's this guy that keeps popping up on my for you page and he sells airplanes. And so it's like him walking through these Shaun: Mm. Jen: different private planes and stuff like that. And I'm always like, ooh, I wonder what lane is is next up. Shaun: Ha ha. Jen: Or like there's this Hermes bag page that is always in there. I'm like, why do y'all think that I can I can afford these items? Come on with it. I would although Barry: I don't get that. I don't get bags, bro. Shaun: Try to get you a Birkin? my gosh. Barry: No. Jen: I really like I prefer a Kelly over a Birkin. I'd like a Kelly, please. Barry: I don't even know what that is. Shaun: okay. It's a type of a bag. Jen: It's the bag. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: Everybody's all Barry: okay. Jen: about the Berkens, but I don't like the Birgen shape. I like the Kelly shape better. Shaun: crazy thing is dude, some of those bags cost as much as a car. Yeah, some of them can get up there. Barry: As much as a house? What do talk about? Silly. Jen: yeah, no. Yeah. Yes. There's a what is it, a white Himalaya diamond that's like a hundred and fifty K. Shaun: That's insane. Jen: Yeah. And that Barry: So. Jen: I think that's in Euros, not in 'cause they're in London, so Shaun: Are those appreciating assets though? Do they appreciate? Yeah. Jen: yes. Because you if you get them through Barry: Yeah, probably. If you take care of Jen: the store, they're only like like you could go in and get a Birkin from the store for like twenty K, which again sounds Shaun: Mm-hmm. Jen: like a lot, but then you take it off aftermarket and resell it, you can sell it for like 60. Like they yes, I'm serious. People try to buy them Shaun: Say less, I'm about to go give him Jen: from the stores so they they can resell them because they do appreciate and value so much on aftermarket. But it's really hard to get a bag from the store. Shaun: But what is that? I was about to say, what Barry: That's bonkers, man. Shaun: is I feel like that's one of those things where you have to be invited to be able to do that though, probably. Yeah. Jen: You do. You have to be Barry: Mm. Jen: offered the bag. So you can go into the stores and shop with like your salesperson, but they offer you things like here's a belt that we have. Here's the scarves are really big for Airmez. Here's these shoes. And there's it's called the Airmez game where you have to spend with them on other items before Shaun: Yeah. Jen: they'll offer you a bag. And some people spend couple thousand dollars and they get offered a bag and some people spend hundreds of thousands of dollars with their MS and never get offered a bag. So some people just go straight to aftermarket, but that's why they s caught Barry: Yo no thank you. Jen: they have such a value in aftermarket because they're so hard to Shaun: That's like Ferrari. Jen: get yeah. Shaun: Yeah, Ferrari does that too. Like you have to like in order to get a Ferrari, like you can't buy a used Ferrari. You have to go to h for to them and you have to be able to buy it from them in order to get one of their cars. And then you can't just sell it. You have to get like the authorization through Jen: Give it back to them. Shaun: Ferrari in order to be able to do it. It's like this whole big scheme, basically thing that they have going on. Which Jen: Yeah. Thing. Yeah. I mean a hundred percent. That's exactly what Air Barry: So I'm saying I'm good. Jen: Mez is. Yeah. Hm. Shaun: It makes sense. It's it's all about exclusivity. As long as you can maintain that exclusivity of your product and yeah, that's what creates the vibe for it. Speaking okay, Jen: And that's how they create it. Obviously it's working. Barry: I don't buy into that. I don't know. Shaun: the complete opposite end of that, some things that are ridiculously cheap that people have you all seen the Seven Brew crap that's been going on in the past couple of days. Okay, so Seven Brew, the the coffee shop. Apparently Jen: Mm mm. The coffee shop? Okay. Shaun: they're giving away some kind of like squishy or something like that. Barry: squishies are all the rage with the youngsters, bro. Jen: Yeah, they are. Shaun: Dude, there's people lined up for blocks, like waiting forty-five minutes to an hour to get a squishy. Jen: Hm. For a squishy? Absolutely not. Barry: I don't just don't get that, man. I don't know. Shaun: Why? Barry: No. They Jen: They're very popular right now. Barry: are. Shaun: But still, I'm like Jen: Very popular. Barry: Yo, I've never been that I'm not Shaun: those are the kind of things that made me think. Barry: showing up to no place to get no new phone. I'm not waiting in a line for something. Nah. None of Jen: Yeah, no. I love a good squishy, but I'm not surely not waiting in line for one. Shaun: Yeah. That's insane. Barry: that. Shaun: And you have to buy like it's if you buy two drinks, you get the squishy for free or whatever. So like if you buy two of their medium drinks, you get the squishy for free. Barry: I'm gonna go spend twenty dollars for a squishy. I mean, they are expensive some Shaun: To get a freaking squishy. And Jen: Yeah. Go buy the squishy. Barry: of but Shaun: I just saw that and I was like, what? Like, what is it? I get it. Hey, if Jen: Yeah. Shaun: that's what you want, it doesn't hurt anybody, so Barry: It's a little toy, bro. Shaun: do it. But goodness Jen: Whatever brings you joy in life. Shaun: gracious. Like, there were some places where cops had to get involved so that they can like make sure that traffic could still flow Jen: Yeah. Shaun: in the area because people were like Barry: That's crazy. Jen: Wild. Shaun: blocking roadways and people sitting in the middle of intersections trying to get to Seven Brew. Like, gosh. Jen: Wild. Barry: No. Yeah. Shaun: Like things like that make me wonder. Jen: And I don't even like seven brew like that, so I surely am not going to. Barry: I've never had I don't even ever think I've heard of that. Shaun: I've never had it, yeah. I've never had it either. Hm. I don't know. It's Jen: It's all right. Not great. Shaun: just coffee. All coffee's gross anyway, so Jen: Your Barry: I mean, I wouldn't say gross, but it definitely d nothing worth that. Shaun: I'm convinced that coffee drinkers don't actually like the taste of coffee though. I feel like a lot Jen: I don't. Shaun: of coffee drinkers get like the sugar and the syrups and the Barry: no, mine's pretty plain. I say that. I I used to do Jen: no. I just bring drink black coffee, but it also gives me life. Barry: black coffee, but Shaun: Mm. Barry: and now I gotta with my GERD I gotta Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: be more conscientious conscientious of Jen: Slow up or what? Hmm. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: That wouldn't be a bad option. Probably Jen: I do love tea. Barry: would be a better option for me, but Shaun: C is the way to go. Jen: What's your favorite Shaun? Don't tell me. Earl Grey. Shaun: I'd say that's one of my favorites, yeah. Jen: Okay, okay. Shaun: I mean you put me on the Lady Grey. That was really good. Yeah. Jen: Lady Grey is my fave. Love Lady Grey. Shaun: I need to go to a tea house pretty soon, actually. I haven't done it. Barry: Yo, I've had this have you ever heard of this place called HTO? That's good. I had it last Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: Yes. I've only been there once. Barry: week for the first time. Jen: I've been there a couple of times. Shaun: Really. Barry: It's good tea. Shaun: I don't have any around like I feel like they're all in very obscure places. Barry: We have one right up the road from us, luckily. Mm-hmm. Shaun: Really? Where? Jen: Yeah, ours is close. Barry: at the corner of Common and Three O Six. Shaun: okay. Barry: Mm-hmm. Right by the Q T. Shaun: Yeah, I don't really go over there that much. But that's not too bad. That's not too far. Barry: Yeah. No, it's it's good. It's expensive. Again. Shaun: Yeah. I went to the one in Kyle once 'cause I was venturing around just looking at crap and I came across it and I was like, hmm, let's go over here. Barry: What kinda what flavor did you get? Shaun: Ooh, I think it was some kind of peach something. Is it Georgia Peach? is it? Okay. Barry: You got the Georgia Peach? That's I want to try that one next. Jen: I feel like that's their their most popular, I think, is the Georgia Beach. Barry: I got their sweet Jen: Yeah, it's really popular. Barry: mint tea, bro. It was great. I love mint tea. I love min tea. Mint tea is great. It's I don't think I love it in everything, but Shaun: I can't do mint. Like I can't do mint in anything. I like I'm one of those people that's like I don't feel like mint belongs in anything except for toothpaste. Jen: Mm. I love mint. Mm-hmm. I love mint and everything. Barry: I don't I I love it's very nostalgic for me. My my dad's mom used to make mint Jen: Ice cream? Yes. Cookies? Yes. Shaun: No. Barry: sweet tea. Shaun: your dad did. Barry: My dad's mom, she used to make it. Yeah. Shaun: your dad's mom. Grandma? Jen: Mm. Barry: Like when I was a kid and we would visit her. So Jen: So it's like nostalgic for you. Barry: very, but it was very like a very close play. Like she made a really good sweet tea, so it was good. Sweet mint tea. But I do want Shaun: Mm. Yeah, I don't know. I just can't. Barry: to try the Georgia Peach next, sweet Georgia Peach. I just can't do unsweet tea. Shaun: why not? Barry: I need some sweetness in exactly. I need some sweetness in my tea, bro. It is leaves literally baked or cooked in trees Jen: Dirty water. Yeah. It is dirty water. That's all it is. Shaun: It's not dirty water. It's good. I do I mean you can put sweetness in it, but yeah. Barry: or cooked in water. Shaun: Man. I I can't drink straight up like sweet tea, like brewed sweet tea. I can't drink that anymore. I have to do like half and half tea. Like that's that's about the most I can do. Yeah. Barry: Love me some sweet tea. I mean, I I mean I just need some sweetness. If they mess up and gave me a half Jen: Well yeah. Mm. Barry: and half, I could do it, but nah, bro. I need sweet. I don't know if I need an overly sweet. Jen: I want it southern sweet tea. I want it if I'm gonna drink it. Shaun: Yeah. Like Chicken Express? They they make some good tea, but it's too sweet. Yeah. I need like a half and half. Yeah. They they got the good ice though. yeah. I definitely do an auto palmer. Barry: Their sweet tea is good. Their sweet tea is phenomenal. No, that stuff is perfect, bro. Get you an Arnie Palmy, bro. A little half sweet tea, half lemonade. I love a good Arnold Palmer. Jen: Ugh it's good. It's good. Mm-hmm. I I do enjoy good Arnold Palmer sometimes. Mm-hmm. Shaun: Yeah. Mm, makes me want some tea. Tea's so good. Jen: Everybody's gonna leave and go get some tea. Shaun: But yeah, Jen, like you're talking about like mint ice cream and like the Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: I can do mint ice cream. Like mint chocolate chip. I could do it. It's enjoyable. Shaun: chocolate and stuff. I can't do it. Mm mm. No. Jen: Love mint chocolate chip. It's one of my favorite flavors. Barry: It's an enjoyable t ice ice cream. I love thin mints, bro. Thin mints are where it's at. Yes, and make man. They're good. It's like an ice cream treat. Shaun: Terrible. Or thin mints like the girl scalp? Nope. Nope. Not at all. Jen: Love thin mints. have you ever froze like you freeze them first? so good. They're so good. Or Shaun: No. Jen: the Milano mint chocolate chip cookies or mint chocolate cookies. Barry: I don't know if I've done those. I do like the Milanos those. Those are phenomenal. Yeah, the the okay. Yeah, the dark chocolates are good. Shaun: The regular Milanos are good. Or the dark chocolate Milanos, those are really good. Jen: Try the try the mint chocolate berry. I think you'll like it. Those are also good. Shaun: Yes. Jen: Those are also good. Barry: But Jen: Love it all. I'm a very minty person. Shaun: Mm-mm. Mints. Barry: From time to time. Shaun: Yeah. Mint toothpaste, mouthwash, and actual mints. That's about it. That's where mint belongs. Other like a mo mojito. Ugh. Cannot do it. Yeah. Gross. Jen: That's where you can take your mint. Barry: That's it, huh? Have you ever tried sweet mint mint tea? Yeah, I'm not the biggest mint. Yeah, I was like I'm not a big mojito person at all. Jen: Which is funny because I'm not a big mojito person. Mainly because as a bartender, I hated somebody ordering a mojito because they're e my gosh. Barry: muddling. You gotta muddle. Jen: If I'm mid rush and everybody's asking for drinks and you walk up to me and ask for a mojito, Shaun: All that work. Yeah. Barry: Gotta get all the the Jen: I'm gonna muddle your face. Like, what are you doing right now? I don't have time to sit here and do this for you. it was the worst. It liter yes, it is very selfish drink. Yeah. If and you better leave me a good tip or I'm gonna be real mad. Barry: Very selfish drink. It is a very selfish drink. Very involved. It's not just like I could throw this together. Yeah, bro. You Shaun: It is. Yeah. Barry: better drink all of it. You better get all the mint parts all up Jen: Enjoy every bit. Barry: in there, yep. Shaun: Jen said, forget twenty percent, give me a thirty percent tip. Barry: Better give me twenty five thirty bare minimum. Jen: I l I don't think you any other bartenders out there will say the same thing. Like if somebody Shaun: That's fair. Jen: walked up mid rush and said, Can I get a mojito? You're wanting to elbow them right in the face. Ugh Yes. Shaun: That especially during a rush. That is a very selfish Barry: Like I don't have any simple syrup. I don't know. Out of simple syrup. Shaun: drink to order during a rush. Yeah. Jen: N the worst. Mm. Shaun: Yeah, get something super quick. If it if you see that the bar is slammed and they're busy and there's people up there, get something simple. I'm still not getting a beer. That's gross, but give me like a makers and coke or a gen and tonic or something like that. That's super, super easy. Yeah. I don't know. Jen: Is slammed. Yeah. Yeah. No, that's fine. You don't need to get up here. Ooh, perfect. Yes. Yeah. It's perfect. Shaun: Man. Barry, did you also say that you watched the movie though? You said you watched The Last House? Okay. Dude. Barry: Dude. Was not a fan, Shaun. It was Jen: What'd you think? The why didn't you like it? Shaun: What do you Barry: it was Shaun: mean you weren't a fan? Barry: I don't know. It just got Jen: Was it the storyline, the acting? It stretched on for too long? Barry: Like it didn't really explain much. It just I don't know, I was Shaun: It didn't explain much. What do you mean? But that other movie explained a lot. Barry: No, I didn't say it explained a lot. I just it made me think. This movie just was I was like, What? Jen: He's no hold up. That's so funny. Shaun: Man. Barry: The ending was like, Really? Like that's how we're gonna end it? Just 'cause you were kind at one point they're not gonna murder you. Jen: Yeah, because kindness rules Shaun: Sh they sh they showed mercy, yeah. Jen: all. Be a kind person. Barry: Okay. Jen: As much as life wants to make you not be a kind person. Shaun: Because I mean Barry: They've wiped out an entire race of human beings and they're just like, these people are kind. Let's let just be the one set of family that we Jen: Kindness rules over Shaun: Okay. Jen: all. Shaun: So let's say that this happened to your family. You all you had a discussion about it. Barry: Doesn't seem yo, we had yo, I don't think my family would make it. Like, let's be real. We had this conversation on the last episode when I asked my youngest if she would murder me if I was a zombie. Like my family's Shaun: Yeah. Barry: not gonna Beck is I think she even said it when we were at Brunt, she like, Yeah, don't make don't try and like make me live in these kind of situations. She was like, I don't Jen: Take me out, coach. Barry: if the human race is dying, she was like, Let me just die off with them. Jen: Let me go. Let me go. Shaun: you have to try to survive. Barry: I mean I go back and forth, bro. I mean I think it would be that's what I'm like I'm like, yeah, some days. Yeah, I feel like Jen: Hmm. Yeah, some days I'm like, I could do it. Like it'll be it'd be fine. I'm very industrious. Like I'll make it, it'll be fine. Barry: I could if I really wanted to, but I don't know if I would want to, bro. Like, would I? Jen: But yeah, but at the same time, Ugh. Would you want to? Ugh. Shaun: I feel like it's it's more of a it's more of a challenge than anything. Barry: It is and I think it would be I was gonna say I'm definitely Jen: I've had enough challenge in my life, Shaun. I'm tap out, call Shaun: Just let me go. Jen: me out, coach. Yeah, I gotta go. Barry: I do think I would like initially want to try. But then again, like it's just like, man, like for what? It would be cool to maybe reset and be like, all right, I really do have to like I don't gotta worry about my job anymore. I don't gotta worry about money no more. I just really gotta worry about surviving now. Like I think I would enjoy that change Jen: Mm. Yeah. Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: at first, but then after a while I was like, Okay, what now? What am I really doing this for? Is it like worth it now? I don't know. Shaun: Well, but let's say so let's say that y your family, like you're in your house, you're going through the scenario that that happens in the movie, and they come into your house. Would you try and defend yourself and hurt them to get them out of the house? Or would you try to do what they did in the movie? Barry: no. I would I would hide and try and preserve unless I felt I could really truthfully take the the being or whatever alien, whatever you wanna call Jen: Whatever. Mm-hmm. Barry: them, th whatever they were. Shaun: So wouldn't you want them to give you mercy at the end of it then? Jen: But what Barry: I mean I would, but I'm just saying, it just like it doesn't make sense to me. Like y'all were ruthless. Y'all literally trapped people in their homes and made them starve to death and die. Shaun: I mean that's not the worst way to Barry: Like that was a ruthless thing to do and then all of a sudden at one time. Shaun: I mean, they probably could have made it a lot worse. Barry: So I don't I don't so but again it doesn't explain why. Why did it happen? Jen: Because mankind got a little too ugly and they said, You know what, we're gonna challenge them and the good ones, the kind ones can live and stay on the planet. Shaun: Could be. Yeah. Barry: No, that was that was just luck. Jen: Maybe Barry: They dug a hole in the floor. They were the only family that could dig a hole in the floor. Shaun: They may have been the only ones to think about it. We're only seeing it from their perspective. We don't know there's people Jen: Think about it, yeah. Yeah. That's true. Barry: I mean true. Shaun: all across the world. We don't know how they're doing. Barry: And that's what I'm saying, like what is the likelihood in these movie scenarios that your family's the one that just y'all figured it out. Y'all got it y'all unlocked the key Jen: yeah. No. Shaun: I mean you never know until you try though. Barry: to survive the extinction Jen: Is true. Barry: of humanity. Shaun: You never know until you try it. Barry: Sure, but no. Jen: My asthmatic ass would not last. Yeah. Mm. Shaun: I don't know. Contacts. You still got glasses. Barry: And that's the thing too, bro. I would run out of contact at some point. Like I'm under What if they break? I'm screwed. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: I mean it and if you're in an apocalyptic type of a situation, you don't have to change your contacts every freaking thirty days either. Like just d do whatever you do. Jen: Mm. Barry: I don't want like eye disease, bro. Shaun: Eye disease. That's the least of your Jen: Mm. Shaun: concerns at that point. Barry: I still yo, if I'm gonna survive I definitely gotta be able to see. That's a that is a Shaun: Gosh. Barry: fact. Jen: True. Yeah. If it anything like that happened Barry: I would have to like that's what I'm like, what is the likelihood? Like I think of all the things that would have to go Shaun: And see, the way that I think about it is I think it that I'm just gonna try and push as long as I can. Barry: I mean I and I think I would feel that way too, but then I wonder how long that would I feel that way. I Jen: Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: think initially, yes, I would go into it like that. Shaun: I think it's easy to give up in those types of situations. Or it would be. Barry: A hundred percent, I would see why. Yeah. Jen: Mm-hmm. Yeah, for sure. Shaun: Like why not just give up and just have it be over with and you're good. I don't know. Barry: It's a it's a dark way to look at it, but it's Jen: Mm. It would be hard. Mm-hmm. Shaun: It exactly. That's what I'm like. Fight. Like fight. Do what you can. Barry: kinda how I look at it sometimes. I mean it's just like we're it is reality. Jen: I mean, yeah. Barry: Like how long are you willing to fight? But I Shaun: I mean Barry: mean, you're locked in your house, you can't open a door or a window or nothing. Shaun: Yeah. At all. Jen: Yeah. Mm mm. Barry: Yo, what if I just l what if it's on a Saturday and I'm literally haven't been able to go get my H B pickup order on Sunday? I'm screwed. I'm screwed, bro. What if they catch me on Jen: Yeah. That's true. Reset on Sundays. Barry: a Saturday, bro? I'm done. I'm done. Shaun: You've still got some kind Jen: He ain't wrong. Shaun: of food in your house. You've got some kind of food in house. Barry: I got two months like this family supposedly had that they turned into six Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: six years or whatever, seven years. Shaun: Yeah, because they were smart about it. They rationed. Jen: That's wild. And they ate the dog? Shaun: They Yeah. I mean, I wasn't gonna say that, but they Jen: Mm. Shaun: did. They grew their Barry: They a lot of animals. Shaun: own st yeah. And I even said Jen: Apocalyptic reality. They ate the dog. Shaun: that. I like, if it came down to it, I mean Barry: And their house was the only house with a chimney and they were the only ones that could figure out how to fish through their chimney? Shaun: I mean, it helps that he's a mechanical engineer or whatever he was. Yeah. Barry: He just happened to be I'm not a mechanical engineer. I'm not gonna be able to make them things. Jen: Yeah, his brain's meant to be Shaun: Well, I mean, that's on you. Barry: It is, Shaun. Exactly my point. That's why I'm saying I don't know how long it's gonna last. Jen: He which is why he said, I'm not gonna be the one Shaun: Wha wha what were you supposed to say? Jen: Mm. Barry: I mean, I do fit take myself as a smart person, but I've also never been faced with an apocalypse where I can't leave my home. Jen: That's true. Shaun: And you just might surprise yourself. Barry: I probably could for a little bit and then I would just be Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: like, you know what? Nah, it's probably it ain't worth it no more, bro. Especially if I like lost Shaun: It ain't worth it. It's gonna be a no for me, dog. Barry: some of my family. Like that would be brutal to recover from. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: Per perks not having family. Barry: Now I don't have anybody that I could we could probably write on a whiteboard with the people across the street, but that's about all the people we could see from our Shaun: Yeah, true. Barry: house. Shaun: Yeah. I Barry: I don't know. Shaun: I wouldn't talk to any of my neighbors. I'd just be like, it is what it is. My bonds are gonna be closed. I'm in here chilling. Jen: He said, I'm chilling. Yeah. Don't try to talk to me. Barry: I ain't open to nothin'. Leave me alone. Shaun: I'm just watching movies on repeat. As long as we have electricity, I'm just watching movies on repeat. Yep. Dude, Barry: But you don't have you got a D V D player? lucky you. Shaun: physical media is where it's at, dog. I'm telling you. If everything goes down Jen: There you go. Shaun: you don't own anything that's digital. Barry: I know, but I don't have a we have we used Jen: Yeah, no. Barry: to have D V D I think we got rid of honestly. We used Jen: We still have some. Barry: to have a box of We might have kept it for nostalgia, Jen: Yeah, we used to have a ton. Barry: but I really think we got rid of it when we Shaun: Mm. Physical media, D V Ds. I I hate reading, but I've got a few books. I could read those books. Jen: Hey, Barry: We got a lot of books. Becca decorates with them. I don't read one of but we could read then. I would read then. Jen: we'll be set. Yeah, we got a lot of books. We'll be set. But now you will. Gather around everyone. It's story time. Shaun: Yeah. You wouldn't have a choice. Barry: What do we have today? Who knows? Just cause the only reason it's here is 'cause your mom liked the color of the cover. That's it. Well go which what color we doin' Jen: Right. I was about to say, let's go with the yellow. We're on the yellows now. Shaun: Ha ha ha. Barry: tonight? Shaun: my biggest issue Jen: So funny. Shaun: would be Ace. Like, where does he go to the bathroom? Barry: Bro, garage. Shaun: Yeah, but still, like it's gonna get so hot out there, it's gonna start coming into Jen: Mm. Shaun: the house, and that would be my biggest issue. And I don't have a chimney, I don't have a fireplace like that. Barry: Burn it. Shaun: So that would be like the biggest issue. Barry: saying, bro, what's Jen: Yeah. Barry: the likelihood? How like all these Shaun: Yeah. huh. Barry: things that are practical really have to be executed? Shaun: Yeah. I don't know. Barry: And when I think about all the things I would I would have to figure out and just like, man, really? Yeah. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: It would be a lot. It would be a lot to have to figure out. Jen: This makes me think of this book that's really popular right now. I think it's actually becoming a movie as well. Anne Hathaway is supposed to be starring in it, I think. Or maybe she just bought the rights to it. I can't remember. But it's called Yesteryear. And it's about this, what they call Tradwife, who like is a social media influencer for like farming and chickens and making your own bread and all of that thing, but it's very Shaun: Mm. Barry: Mm-hmm. Jen: like this time kind of doing all of those things, but she gets thrown into like back in time, quote unquote. I don't want to ruin the book, but she gets thrown in back in time where she actually has to live like that. And it kind of deconstructs Shaun: Mm. Jen: the glamour of people keep glorifying, like yes, when you actually have to exactly exactly like is it really that glamorous if you're actually doing it? Yeah. Yeah. Barry: What it really l like when you have to do it for actual survival versus just doing it for some clicks. Yeah. No, it's not. Hell no, not when it matters. Shaun: Yeah. Yeah. No. Yeah. That's why we've come up with so many more ways to do it easily. Yeah. Barry: Yeah. 'Cause Jen: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. Barry: it's not efficient and it's a lot of work and it is not glamorous. Dealing with animals is no. Hell Jen: And it's a lot of work. It's nonstop work. You think you're busy now. Yeah. Yeah. Mm Shaun: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Barry: no. Shaun: Like Jen: hmm. Shaun: making your own bread and churning your own butter. Yeah, it's cool. When you get to do it, yeah. When you get to do it leisurely, it's Jen: Growing your own food, yeah. Like planting and farming is not easy. Shaun: fine. But yeah, when you need that to sustain life, it's a lot of work. Yeah. Jen: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Barry: It's a lot. Yeah. Shaun: Although, I mean, honestly, I would love to have a bunker out in the middle of nowhere and just live off of the grid. That would be great. Jen: yeah. It'd be nice, yeah. Barry: Would be nice. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: But I I would need to be within like thirty mile drive of an H C B though. Jen: Can they still do A G B delivery? Barry: Can they do deliveries out there? Jen: That's my number one. Shaun: No, dog, you just take the truck, you go, you load up and bring it back. Barry: No, I wouldn't mind. I mean Yeah. Go to the small little grocery store in Nowheresville. Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: You're the mysterious black man that everybody sees, Shaun. Shaun: I mean Barry: Wonder where where you come from. Jen: Wh where'd he come from? Shaun: It is what it is. And don't approach me because it's it's not gonna be good for you. Barry: We do live in Texas. We do live in Texas. Jen: He's yeah, I was about to say he's well trigger happy. Shaun: Yes. I might be the mysterious black man, but just let me be that. Just leave me alone. I won't mess with Barry: Let me be. Jen: Leave me over here, you'll be over there. Shaun: you. Never mind. I was about to say it won't start nothing, won't be nothing. Barry: Don't start and won't be none. Shaun: man. But yeah, it's a good movie. If y'all haven't seen it, make sure that you watch it. I I think it's a good movie. It's much Barry: Don't have high expectations. Don't have high expectations. Shaun: better than the one that Barry talked about before. Much better. You know. Barry: I mean okay. I would not agree with that, but that's again our difference Jen: Watch both and let us know what you think. Barry: in opinion. Shaun: Yeah, you don't have to be wasted to like the ones. Jen: Ha ha ha. Barry: I don't have to be wasted. I just like things that are outside the box a little sometimes. Make you think. Shaun: Yeah. I mean, those are Jen: Mm. Shaun: cool too. Even with that so conspiracy type of theories. Barry: Mm. Shaun: What makes us think that we are the only intelligent life form that is yeah, that is able to do the things that we do? Barry: no. There's no possible way. I don't we are Jen: Mm-hmm. Yeah, for sure. Barry: a a dust upon dust in the galaxy. Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: I don't again, probability real rea reality like logic, Shaun: Zero percent chance. Barry: I don't think there's any chance that we are the only. Jen: Yeah. Do I think that Shaun: Yeah. Jen: they are like what movies portray them as? N I don't know. But Shaun: No. Yeah. Jen: I d I also don't think truly that we will even necessarily ever have contact with those people. Barry: I don't either. Where it's so just again, it's so vast. I the the likelihood that they would stumble upon this this speck of dust and I think that is very low. Jen: Exactly. Like it's so vast they have to be out there. But exactly. That we would or they would, yeah. I don't know. I don't know. Yeah. Shaun: gosh. All right, well, episode fifteen is in the books. Jen: Woo-oop. Shaun: Football is back. Sports are back. so excited. Yes. Barry: Ball and NFL this upcoming week. Jen: I'm just excited for the snacks, okay? Listen, if I'm gonna watch Shaun: Yeah. Are we gonna have a Jen: it, I'm gonna be out here with some football Barry: Joyna. Jen: watching snacks. Shaun: Yeah. Are we gonna have a big game party? You can't say the S B word because apparently that's like trademarked and they like come after people for that. We're gonna have a big game party though? Barry: good to know. We're gonna have a a big game party, okay. Jen: how interesting. Yeah, we should. Shaun: We need to have one. Still months away. We can plant it at Friendsgiving. Yeah, we can plan it at Friendsgiving. Let's see what that's gonna look like. Jen: But we can still y there you go. There you go. Friendsgiving mists because Barry: Sounds like a plan. Jen: it sounds like it's more friends yeah, Barry: Chris Mahana Kwanzaa. Jen: Christmas Han Kwanzaa Barry: I didn't forget. I didn't forget, Shaun. Shaun: Which I was like, Yeah. Jen: Chris Mawanza, I don't know. Shaun: I don't celebrate Kwanzaa, I was just saying that. Which Barry: I know. I know. Shaun: I was like, I don't do we have Jewish people in our like I didn't even know that we did. I was Barry: I told I found out I was Jewish but I Jen: I don't think so. Barry: don't practice the Jewish faith. Or my family Shaun: okay. I was like Barry: was Jewish. I guess I don't wanna say that I am 'cause I'm not. Shaun: Okay, maybe that's where it came from. I was like, I thought everybody celebrated Christmas. We can do Hanukkah too, we can do Hanukkah and Kranza. Barry: No, I have Jew Jew Jews in my family. Shaun: Gotcha. Yeah. Well, yeah, we'll figure it out there. We'll figure out what we're gonna do for the big game. But thanks for coming back to episode number 15. We did also have a the follicles Barry: I don't know. I like the follicles, man. That one's a good one. Shaun: pretty dope. Yeah. Jen: It's good one. Shaun: It's like a play between being bald and followers at the same time like the follicles. It works on so many different levels. Yeah. Jen: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Barry: Exactly, bro. Yeah, it does. Shaun: we did also have a really cool comment on the last video as well, talking about things that you might remember from the past, like those throwbacks, like to a simpler time, drive-in theaters, which there's one pretty close to us. I still want to go and check it out. Yeah. I'm not pretty close. It's really close actually. Right down the road from me. we do Barry: There is one, right? In New Baffles. Yeah. I know we need to go check it out. Jen: Yeah, I love it. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Shaun: go check it out, watch a movie, do something like that. Barry: Make that Jen's Friday family night with us and her f her other friends. Do a big one. Jen: We're down. Say less. We love going. Shaun: That's all right. Let's do it. Well, y'all do kid movies, so we have to wait until there's another kid movie that comes out, you know. Barry: We would have to wait 'til there's a kid movie that comes out. 'Cause they Jen: True true. Barry: do show current movies. Jen: Mm-hmm. They do. And it's double features. I mean, we never Shaun: Yeah. I think the last one that I saw was Jen: really stay for the double feature because it's so late. That's yeah. It's really late. But we can make the first one. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Mm-mm. We usually Barry: yeah, it is double features. I don't know if I can do it though, yo. I'll fall asleep. I would probably fall asleep, bro. Like for real. I'd probably fall asleep in the first one. Definitely in the second one. Especially if I'm in my car like comfy. Yeah, I'd probably be out. Shaun: Yeah, go until like one o'clock in the morning. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Jen: bring the truck and sit in the bed and I surely will fall asleep. Barry: Yeah. Mm. Mm Shaun: Yeah. Barry: mm. Shaun: Man. We'll do that too. But thank you guys so much for coming and hang out with us. We love you. We appreciate you as always. and we will see you next time on episode sixteen. Peace. Jen: Bye. Barry: Peace out, y'all
