- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey guys, let's jump into a little bit about what's
- 0:02Speaker 1: going on in the Salana ecosystem. There is a lot
- 0:05Speaker 1: happening that could center around RWA's and gaming, so you
- 0:09Speaker 1: don't want to miss this one. Stay tuned. You've probably
- 0:12Speaker 1: heard me mention Uphold before, and there's a reason I
- 0:15Speaker 1: keep talking about them. Uphold makes it incredibly easy to
- 0:18Speaker 1: bridge a gap between your portfolio and the real world.
- 0:21Speaker 1: This has not been done before. Their Uphold debit card
- 0:24Speaker 1: is the best example of that. It lets you spend
- 0:27Speaker 1: your crypto or your cash anywhere visa is accepted, all
- 0:31Speaker 1: while earning four percent back in XRP on every purchase.
- 0:35Speaker 1: It's the easiest way to stack rewards on your daily spending.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Download the Uphold app for more and get started. We're
- 0:42Speaker 1: going to have Yatsu. He's going to be coming on
- 0:44Speaker 1: here in a sack end from animalal Brands. One thing
- 0:46Speaker 1: that we've noticed and started to really track closely is
- 0:49Speaker 1: something that is happening in the Pokemon ecosystem. If you
- 0:52Speaker 1: look at their performance in comparison to the s and
- 0:56Speaker 1: P five hundred. Because SMP five hundre obviously we know
- 0:58Speaker 1: what bitcoin is done. This is in terms of performance
- 1:01Speaker 1: since January first down thirty three. This is astounding for
- 1:05Speaker 1: me to see these kind of numbers and very interesting.
- 1:07Speaker 1: But I think there's some reasons why. One of the
- 1:10Speaker 1: things that I'll showcase here on this tweet right here
- 1:12Speaker 1: Salona is dex volumes surpassed fifteen billion last week. That's
- 1:16Speaker 1: the highest level in thirteen weeks. As we continue to
- 1:19Speaker 1: see more aggressive natures around that. And then when you
- 1:23Speaker 1: go over to what's going on over on DeFi Lama,
- 1:26Speaker 1: this is where it gets kind of interesting because the
- 1:28Speaker 1: fact that we are starting to see Solana getting very
- 1:32Speaker 1: close well actually dominating, and kind of see right there
- 1:35Speaker 1: with Collector Crypt, Jupiter, etc. That is starting to dominate
- 1:39Speaker 1: where these rbas are heading. This ecosystem is maybe just
- 1:44Speaker 1: getting started. The kind of growth that we have seen.
- 1:47Speaker 1: This is just an example of Collector growth in just
- 1:51Speaker 1: a very short period of time continuing to accelerate. And
- 1:54Speaker 1: you'll notice Collector Crypt right there starting to move very
- 1:58Speaker 1: aggressively and being with Courtyard. So is that a question
- 2:01Speaker 1: mark right now are we going to potentially see that
- 2:05Speaker 1: flip Courtyard Because when you look at some of the
- 2:07Speaker 1: trends out there right now, this is just Pokemon trends, okay,
- 2:11Speaker 1: compared to Bitcoin. This goes all back, all the way
- 2:13Speaker 1: back to Pokemon Go. You're got to see it, guys.
- 2:16Speaker 1: This is this is dominance. I mean, this is eleven
- 2:19Speaker 1: to one in terms of average interest or eleven to
- 2:21Speaker 1: two average interest. And it's intriguing to me to see
- 2:26Speaker 1: all the new products and potential launches that are occurring
- 2:30Speaker 1: within the Salona ecosystem. So today I wanted to bring
- 2:33Speaker 1: in yacht Sue coming in from yacht from Animoka Brands.
- 2:36Speaker 1: He's been on the show many times.
- 2:38Speaker 2: How are you ye, Great to see you and what's
- 2:40Speaker 2: a pleasure to be on the show.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Yeah, so we've got a lot happening here. Yeah, Sue,
- 2:44Speaker 1: would Salona be a good token right now, especially with
- 2:48Speaker 1: this dip that we're seeing in terms of graphing something.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:51Speaker 2: So first of all, generally, I think my general view
- 2:55Speaker 2: on L one and L two's and you know, our
- 2:57Speaker 2: thesis are on old coins probably speaking that we do
- 3:00Speaker 2: think that all coins are going to ultimately outperform Bitcoin
- 3:03Speaker 2: as a collective, and I think we're seeing some inklings
- 3:06Speaker 2: of that. You know, obviously that's not to say every
- 3:08Speaker 2: token will do well, but you know, you'll you'll see that,
- 3:11Speaker 2: and of course the infrastructure plays such as the Solanas
- 3:14Speaker 2: or the ethereums out there will be basically also tokens
- 3:17Speaker 2: that should do well because they are the base infrastructure.
- 3:20Speaker 2: But the size and scaling that's needed to capture sort
- 3:23Speaker 2: of value that translates down is part of the issue, right,
- 3:27Speaker 2: meaning that you know, our mental model on L one
- 3:29Speaker 2: and L two's is a little bit like telcos and
- 3:31Speaker 2: I speeds. So AT and T is a very valuable company,
- 3:34Speaker 2: don't get me wrong, but it's not as valuable as
- 3:37Speaker 2: Google on.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Facebook, on Microsoft or Apple, right.
- 3:41Speaker 2: So, but because we're so early in this phase, you know,
- 3:44Speaker 2: I would definitely sort of you know, put Solana as
- 3:46Speaker 2: one of the sort of you know, must haves in
- 3:48Speaker 2: the bucket, together with many other L one L twos
- 3:50Speaker 2: that I think are going to be structurally important for
- 3:54Speaker 2: essentially the development of blockchain.
- 3:55Speaker 3: If you believe as we do, that blockchain.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Is going to be you know, one of the most
- 4:00Speaker 2: important sort of basically sort of technologies out there, especially
- 4:03Speaker 2: in light of what's happening with AI and the.
- 4:05Speaker 1: General Yeah, well we're going to get into some of
- 4:07Speaker 1: that today.
- 4:09Speaker 3: One note here was Lily.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Lou who was the president of the Salona Foundation. She
- 4:14Speaker 1: made a statement not too long ago, this was back
- 4:16Speaker 1: in March of this year, and said simply that blockchain
- 4:21Speaker 1: gaming isn't coming back. So if you think that was
- 4:24Speaker 1: she wrong, you know, because we think that if you
- 4:26Speaker 1: consider Pokemon, which I still believe is the biggest game
- 4:29Speaker 1: on the planet, that in itself I think has already
- 4:31Speaker 1: kind of proven that position wrong.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember Solana's mission in terms of basically thinking
- 4:37Speaker 2: of it in terms of Internet capital markets and then
- 4:40Speaker 2: being the center of that, which they're doing a great
- 4:42Speaker 2: job by the way, in that construct. You know, she
- 4:46Speaker 2: I would say she probably felt that gaming was sort
- 4:49Speaker 2: of too far away from finance and it wasn't really
- 4:52Speaker 2: part of the mission and part of what blockchain does,
- 4:54Speaker 2: which is where I think we have a sort of
- 4:56Speaker 2: a point of disagreement there.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Gaming is not coming back in the way that was
- 5:00Speaker 3: in twenty one o two. That's how I interpret it.
- 5:03Speaker 2: It's a little bit like saying gaming is To me,
- 5:05Speaker 2: it's a little bit like saying gaming is not coming
- 5:07Speaker 2: back because we're not buying you know, sort of cartridges
- 5:10Speaker 2: like consoles, because that was a business model at that time.
- 5:13Speaker 3: But then we can invented free to play, we had mobile.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Gaming, we had subscription models, right, all these things kind
- 5:19Speaker 2: of innovate. And the other thing is, you know, this
- 5:22Speaker 2: idea that sort of finance doesn't touch gaming is actually
- 5:26Speaker 2: I think that's probably the weakest point of the argument,
- 5:28Speaker 2: because gaming is already a three hundred I mean, it's
- 5:31Speaker 2: a three hundred plus billion dollar industry. It is bigger
- 5:35Speaker 2: than movies and music combined. But then the other part
- 5:39Speaker 2: of gaming, of course, which is the area of gambling
- 5:42Speaker 2: production markets. I mean, they are called gaming for a reason, right,
- 5:45Speaker 2: and so they are basically games with money that are
- 5:48Speaker 2: categorized in a certain area. I would argue that Solana's
- 5:52Speaker 2: ecosystem was really sort of growing in a large part
- 5:55Speaker 2: because of mean coins in the beginning, and mean coins
- 5:58Speaker 2: are very much a game, right, is gaming in that context?
- 6:01Speaker 3: Right? So to me, gamification and broadly speaking.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Games is actually what our industry has been built upon,
- 6:07Speaker 2: you know, and so I think it's a it's a
- 6:09Speaker 2: bit unfair to dismiss it outright.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Solana has really started to kind of understand that I
- 6:15Speaker 1: want to play a clip that goes in and the
- 6:17Speaker 1: reason this is about in reference to Solana Rosendica. And
- 6:20Speaker 1: the reason this is important is because it correlates what's
- 6:24Speaker 1: going on in the Pokemon ecosystem to maybe how gaming
- 6:28Speaker 1: is going to be redefined.
- 6:29Speaker 3: I think this is interesting. Take a look at this clip.
- 6:32Speaker 4: They're just sitting in my wall is and one day
- 6:34Speaker 4: I was like, wait a second, I could just fix
- 6:37Speaker 4: all of this just by one app enabling the cards
- 6:41Speaker 4: on chained. That's doing nothing right now. This is the main,
- 6:44Speaker 4: main lobby. Everyge trading cards has a head and power
- 6:48Speaker 4: in them, and in one arena you summon those you
- 6:51Speaker 4: awaken the power, and if they win for you, you
- 6:54Speaker 4: win a pack Bysiically that creates a synergy and the
- 6:57Speaker 4: fund of building a deck you will get. I had
- 7:00Speaker 4: a schedule randomly assigned to you, which like with rarities,
- 7:04Speaker 4: which is adding another layer for each Gutsha. We can
- 7:09Speaker 4: do a lot of things with these cars on chain,
- 7:11Speaker 4: and then there's so much potential for it. It's like
- 7:14Speaker 4: ethereum before DeFi I'm excited, man, is that your plus?
- 7:18Speaker 4: I swear like this is not.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Rich we bro. I'm about to go bload up my
- 7:22Speaker 3: wallet and.
- 7:23Speaker 4: I swear, God, what din the rick is?
- 7:25Speaker 1: Do you think Pokemon the company is going to take
- 7:28Speaker 1: note of what's happening right now if you look at.
- 7:31Speaker 2: The historical way that they've dealt with, you know, secondary
- 7:33Speaker 2: trading of cars, and they're cognizant of it, but they're
- 7:37Speaker 2: definitely not sort of embracing it openly making a statement
- 7:41Speaker 2: around it, which, by the way, I think is a
- 7:43Speaker 2: very Japanese way and a very Japanese style of sort
- 7:45Speaker 2: of approaching things.
- 7:46Speaker 3: I mean, just think about how long it took for
- 7:48Speaker 3: Nintendo to finally open it up and say, exactly, maybe
- 7:51Speaker 3: we should be looking at mobile games.
- 7:53Speaker 2: They were like the last pastion to do that. But also,
- 7:57Speaker 2: you know, why fix something that isn't broken, right, That's
- 8:00Speaker 2: the other thing. Pokemon just really sort of just sort
- 8:03Speaker 2: of became sort of a cultural meme, if you will.
- 8:06Speaker 2: The financification of it in terms of people trading it
- 8:08Speaker 2: and doing other things with it, and now our wing
- 8:11Speaker 2: it is all.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Part of that. It's called it less.
- 8:13Speaker 2: A fair attitude that it had around the IP to
- 8:16Speaker 2: let people sort of innovate on top, right, which I
- 8:19Speaker 2: think has helped it and served it. And that's also
- 8:21Speaker 2: why I think there is such an amazing sort of
- 8:24Speaker 2: let's called it secondary trading market, which of course blockchain
- 8:27Speaker 2: has really sort of.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it has definitely done it if you look at
- 8:31Speaker 1: just what's going on on Jupiter. I think this is
- 8:33Speaker 1: interesting because being able to borrow against you know, Pokemon, Now,
- 8:38Speaker 1: what do you think this would unlock?
- 8:40Speaker 2: Like our children learn about money because of Pokemon cards.
- 8:43Speaker 2: They don't learn it in school as an example, and
- 8:45Speaker 2: from that then they understand things like, oh wait, I
- 8:47Speaker 2: can borrow this, or I can lend trade, I can
- 8:50Speaker 2: do these things. So to me, it's actually a really
- 8:52Speaker 2: really sort of critical financial literacy gateway, you know, like
- 8:55Speaker 2: we saw what Pokemon Goals did in terms of a
- 8:58Speaker 2: movement as well when that came out. And by the way,
- 9:01Speaker 2: that sort of you know, gaming environment was unique to
- 9:03Speaker 2: Pokemon Goal. Many other companies try to, yeah, with big
- 9:06Speaker 2: brands like Higher Potter try to emulate that, and we're
- 9:09Speaker 2: unable to basically capture anything close to that sort of
- 9:12Speaker 2: same phenomena. So it has a very particular thing and
- 9:14Speaker 2: let's call it our cultural and our sort of social
- 9:17Speaker 2: side test that other places and other brands capture.
- 9:21Speaker 1: This changes a lot because you're connecting you could connect
- 9:24Speaker 1: your you know, Salona wallet you know, whether it's fandom
- 9:26Speaker 1: or whatever. You can buy via USDC. Even if you
- 9:30Speaker 1: roll a card, you can immediately sell it back in.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I mean, there's a lot of instant liquidity in that marketplace.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I want to play a clip for you. This is
- 9:37Speaker 1: the in reference to the Jupiter offer book that plays
- 9:40Speaker 1: into this. Tell me what you think. Here we go
- 9:42Speaker 1: the first.
- 9:43Speaker 5: Ever time that a Pokemon card was used as collateral
- 9:46Speaker 5: for a loan. That's right, So some fun things coming
- 9:48Speaker 5: in and then maybe a few things aren't even on
- 9:50Speaker 5: this slide, But that is a little bit of alpha
- 9:52Speaker 5: for those that want to loop up smart WA's I
- 9:55Speaker 5: no joke think that the clankers, the AA agents are
- 9:58Speaker 5: going to have a field day offer book and so
- 10:01Speaker 5: there's a lot of like yield to be made.
- 10:02Speaker 3: I mean, we just saw it just in the first week.
- 10:04Speaker 3: The average APY is eighteen percent and.
- 10:06Speaker 5: The resident's CPA in the audience, mister will mcfletcher said,
- 10:10Speaker 5: apparently tax advantages too.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Indeed, yeah, I would like to see the tax advantages
- 10:16Speaker 1: on that. What is that delayed somehow delayed capital gains
- 10:19Speaker 1: or something.
- 10:20Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Well, I mean I think I think the reality is
- 10:22Speaker 2: that if you're basically doing lending in collateral basically, right, exactly, right, Yeah,
- 10:25Speaker 2: so you're not you're not basically you're not realizing you're
- 10:28Speaker 2: so to speak, right exactly, and so so depending on
- 10:31Speaker 2: which country and place you're in. But what you know,
- 10:34Speaker 2: first of all, I think it's it's it's incredible, and
- 10:36Speaker 2: it kind of just demonstrates the kind of cool things
- 10:38Speaker 2: that blockchain enables, right because first of all, there's a
- 10:41Speaker 2: whole wave of people out there and probably have no
- 10:43Speaker 2: idea that their Pokemon cards could even be used for collateral.
- 10:45Speaker 2: So if you didn't even actually want to sell, you
- 10:47Speaker 2: could actually just sort of you know, sort of you know,
- 10:49Speaker 2: basically borrow, borrow against it.
- 10:51Speaker 3: It unlocks basically other things.
- 10:53Speaker 2: The other thing, of course, is that if I bore
- 10:54Speaker 2: something against my Pokemon, the chances are that I probably
- 10:57Speaker 2: will use it to buy more Pokemon cards because it
- 10:59Speaker 2: reinforced this idea sure is that there's value attached to that. Right,
- 11:04Speaker 2: So that's that's been really really powerful. But I think
- 11:07Speaker 2: the ultimate thing, you know, and then you know, Solana
- 11:10Speaker 2: has just been really really good from a community standpoint
- 11:13Speaker 2: around having these sort of shared shared networks where you know,
- 11:16Speaker 2: on the financial side where people go, oh, wait, hold on,
- 11:19Speaker 2: if I do this and I innovate this and I
- 11:20Speaker 2: build this, and remember, the people who are building this
- 11:23Speaker 2: don't all come from trad fi. In fact, anything don't, right,
- 11:26Speaker 2: They come from gaming, or from entertainment, or from coding
- 11:29Speaker 2: or something else. And they go like, wait a second,
- 11:31Speaker 2: I can build something cool without having these constraints around
- 11:34Speaker 2: what isn't isn't possible because if you probably go to
- 11:36Speaker 2: a trad fi guy, it's like, it's a waste of time,
- 11:38Speaker 2: don't even bother doing this?
- 11:40Speaker 3: You know, why even do it?
- 11:41Speaker 2: And here they go, They're just having fun, right, And
- 11:43Speaker 2: then and the next thing, you know, it opens it up,
- 11:45Speaker 2: and then of course begs the next question, which is
- 11:47Speaker 2: at hold a second, could I do this with my art?
- 11:49Speaker 3: Could it do with my cars? Could to do with
- 11:51Speaker 3: something else? Right?
- 11:52Speaker 2: An asset that had no liquidity and now might have
- 11:55Speaker 2: thousands of dollars of liquidity or tens of thousands of
- 11:57Speaker 2: dollars liquidity becomes more valuable because it has some liquidity
- 12:01Speaker 2: versus none at all, Right, And I think this, this,
- 12:04Speaker 2: this is something where I think many many more things
- 12:06Speaker 2: become accessible if you look at just the collectible space
- 12:09Speaker 2: broadly speaking, that's really accelerated, and I actually think it's
- 12:12Speaker 2: going to be even more accelerated in part, yeah, in
- 12:16Speaker 2: part because of AI so so the desire of having
- 12:20Speaker 2: something that's authentic, something that's original, something that has uniqueness
- 12:24Speaker 2: is going to drive essentially a demand for these.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Sort of assets that are truly scarce and rare.
- 12:29Speaker 2: And to me, I think Pokemon's because of the physical
- 12:31Speaker 2: aspect and are the education for you know, basically our debas.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Oh okay, that's in blockchain. Oh wait, hold on, that's
- 12:38Speaker 2: kind of unique. And then from that we evolve into
- 12:41Speaker 2: basically the NFT aspect or purely digital sort of collectibles
- 12:46Speaker 2: that actually mimic exactly the same behavior, but an entirely
- 12:48Speaker 2: digital in nature.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Pokemon could set the blueprint for a lot of this.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I mean, I think Pokemon sets the blueprint and opens
- 12:56Speaker 2: up the imagination for people to say, oh wait, hold on,
- 12:58Speaker 2: if you could do Pokemon cards can do for something else.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Because because for instance, if you look at traditional gaming,
- 13:02Speaker 2: if you look at for instance, you know, basically counter
- 13:04Speaker 2: Strike Skins, right, I mean, we're talking about a seven
- 13:06Speaker 2: to eight billion dollar Well, it depends on on the
- 13:08Speaker 2: day of the market, but somewhere between forty eight billion
- 13:10Speaker 2: dollars of a market that's been trading really for the
- 13:13Speaker 2: last couple of decades, right, And and that's entirely digital
- 13:17Speaker 2: in nature. Right, it's sort of the smaller communities that
- 13:19Speaker 2: you can now basically sort of amplify and create a
- 13:22Speaker 2: market for.
- 13:23Speaker 3: That wasn't there.
- 13:24Speaker 2: And I think the error, if you want to call
- 13:26Speaker 2: it that with some of the NFT hype. Wasn't that
- 13:28Speaker 2: NFTs didn't demonstrate, which by the way, is still three
- 13:30Speaker 2: to the million dollars of sales a month, give or take.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Right. Wasn't the fact that sort of.
- 13:34Speaker 2: NFTs themselves were over hyped or sort of you know,
- 13:38Speaker 2: it was it became way more a speculative financial tool
- 13:42Speaker 2: for the people who entered the space. It's kind of
- 13:43Speaker 2: always's money to be made, brought in to people who
- 13:46Speaker 2: weren't there for the game itself and for the fun
- 13:49Speaker 2: in the community, but were there just to extract.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Right.
- 13:51Speaker 2: You know, if you look at sort of things like CryptoPunks,
- 13:54Speaker 2: they're having a little bit of a return like actually
- 13:56Speaker 2: in the last in the last two or three days,
- 13:59Speaker 2: and if has had you know, like a little insurgence.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Ye.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Yeah, buying a crypto punk has been a better levered
- 14:06Speaker 2: bed on eth than eath itself.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Wow. I want to play a clip for you.
- 14:09Speaker 1: This is in reference to Mediora and Dynamic assets because
- 14:12Speaker 1: it starts to change things up a little bit. I
- 14:14Speaker 1: want to get your opinion.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Let's go to that clip. I know you're pissed, you're down.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Michael Sayl is telling you to go back to work
- 14:20Speaker 3: at McDonald's. It sucks, but we're running Solona back.
- 14:24Speaker 6: Our friends over at Sunrise just announced something called dynamic assets.
- 14:27Speaker 6: Think about Pokemon cards. If you want exposure today, you
- 14:29Speaker 6: got to buypacks, you got to store them, you got
- 14:31Speaker 6: to protect them, and you eventually got to find a buyer.
- 14:33Speaker 3: That's slow, expensive and i liquid.
- 14:34Speaker 6: Sunrise's first dynamic asset is called SV one fifty one.
- 14:38Speaker 6: It's backed by Seal Pokemon one fifty one packs, the
- 14:40Speaker 6: set featuring the original one to fifty one Pokemon.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Here's where it gets interesting.
- 14:43Speaker 6: If you own enough SB one fifty one, you can
- 14:45Speaker 6: actually burn those tokens and redeem them for the physical packs.
- 14:48Speaker 6: Everybody thinks Solon is competing with Ethereum, Avax, Sueye Hyper
- 14:52Speaker 6: liquid monad what if it's actually competing with eBay, stock x,
- 14:55Speaker 6: auction houses and any other online marketplaces.
- 14:57Speaker 7: So I think eBay's taking between ten and fourteen percent
- 15:00Speaker 7: off the top of a sale.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Collector cryptos two percent. No shade to eBay, but I would.
- 15:04Speaker 3: I'd love to eat their lunch. We're running it back.
- 15:07Speaker 3: It's fucking good, all right.
- 15:08Speaker 1: So you get a tweet here from jeep Spot they're
- 15:10Speaker 1: talking about these dynamic assets on Slanta and in reference
- 15:13Speaker 1: to the SB one fifty one. So if you guys
- 15:15Speaker 1: know where this is heading, what do you think about this?
- 15:20Speaker 3: What do you think? I mean, it's exciting.
- 15:21Speaker 2: So first of all, we actually innovated on dynamic as
- 15:24Speaker 2: assets back in the day with cool Cats during sort
- 15:27Speaker 2: of you know, basing some of the football promotions we
- 15:29Speaker 2: did as an experiment as well. So so dynamic assets
- 15:32Speaker 2: in and of itself isn't isn't anything particularly new, But
- 15:35Speaker 2: what you didn't know what what what happens here? Of course,
- 15:38Speaker 2: making sort of having the ability to morphit and frankly,
- 15:41Speaker 2: that is the let's call it superpower of blockchain, right,
- 15:45Speaker 2: which is the composibility, right, you can basically sort of
- 15:47Speaker 2: change things around innovate on top create basically sort of
- 15:51Speaker 2: you know, cool new things, and the intersection right now
- 15:54Speaker 2: because of the institutions coming in between, you know, basically
- 15:57Speaker 2: sort of something like that is the petition. But I
- 16:00Speaker 2: don't think the competition is going to be specifically around
- 16:04Speaker 2: sort of going directly after the eBay market itself. But
- 16:07Speaker 2: I think it's going to be more sort of a
- 16:08Speaker 2: flurry of you know, thousands of individuals basically building and
- 16:12Speaker 2: utilizing these composable assets and these dynamic assets to basically
- 16:15Speaker 2: create ways in which you can create new fun experiences.
- 16:19Speaker 2: But the part where we're going to break out, and
- 16:21Speaker 2: that's where dynamic assets become interesting because of its dynamic nature,
- 16:25Speaker 2: is you can make it fun right now. Remember the
- 16:28Speaker 2: biggest onboarding event that we had, you know, despite the
- 16:32Speaker 2: critics that we might have today and say, oh but
- 16:34Speaker 2: gaming that there was was actually NFTs and gaming in
- 16:37Speaker 2: twenty one and twenty two.
- 16:38Speaker 3: What was the one thing they often said? It was fun?
- 16:41Speaker 1: Yeah, And I think you look at media or there's
- 16:44Speaker 1: a breakdown here on SP one fifty one. If you
- 16:47Speaker 1: guys want to follow this, you can kind of get
- 16:49Speaker 1: a list of their roadmap of what they're doing here.
- 16:52Speaker 2: I think, you know, the way that we look at
- 16:55Speaker 2: this is either just very powerful community building tools where
- 16:57Speaker 2: you can sort of string them all together and the
- 17:00Speaker 2: create networks combine them, right, I mean you think about
- 17:03Speaker 2: sort of you know, the air drop mechanism was another
- 17:04Speaker 2: way of extending that in a let's call it less
- 17:07Speaker 2: dynamic way. This type of stuff you can't do in
- 17:09Speaker 2: a centralized change exactly exactly, you've got to do that
- 17:12Speaker 2: on chain. You've got to do that on the blockchain
- 17:14Speaker 2: and utilize that. You're going to have different versions of
- 17:17Speaker 2: the way that dynamic assets are being built because of
- 17:19Speaker 2: its composable nature, and so how do you interpret that?
- 17:21Speaker 2: And I think the sort of the part where we're
- 17:24Speaker 2: here now with AI augentic AI and AI agents that
- 17:27Speaker 2: is becoming exciting because they can do the translation, right,
- 17:30Speaker 2: I understand how to navigate this and sort of I
- 17:33Speaker 2: also by the way you can be able to sort
- 17:35Speaker 2: of verify it in a way that a human can't
- 17:37Speaker 2: because at the end of the day, I mean, phantom
- 17:39Speaker 2: you know, is pretty easy to use, but for most
- 17:41Speaker 2: people it's still very unfamiliar and it feels a little
- 17:44Speaker 2: bit worrisome for a lot of people. Who don't who
- 17:46Speaker 2: just like, Okay, my assets are indistinct, and they're still
- 17:49Speaker 2: thinking of the wallet as something physical and that it's
- 17:52Speaker 2: on my local computer, which it isn't exactly, but that's
- 17:55Speaker 2: kind of how people think about it because they don't
- 17:56Speaker 2: understand it. And again, an AI agent and basically just
- 17:59Speaker 2: abstracted for you, and I think that's going to be
- 18:01Speaker 2: part of that. So technology is there to solve these
- 18:03Speaker 2: interesting problems, but the use case of the regular user
- 18:07Speaker 2: is difficult when they are still not going to be
- 18:09Speaker 2: comfortable dealing with stuff on chain with multiple variations of this,
- 18:12Speaker 2: because the composibility can be endless, right, and that's I
- 18:15Speaker 2: think where AA agents are going to really make a difference.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Okay, so that opens up a lot, and you look
- 18:21Speaker 1: at some of the markets that it will most likely
- 18:23Speaker 1: go into. Here's a good example with Gotcha Sports officially
- 18:27Speaker 1: partnered with Collector crypt and what they're rolling into is
- 18:30Speaker 1: where you've got NBA, NFL, MLB all that. Now, this
- 18:34Speaker 1: starts to open up the sports card ecosystem, which has
- 18:38Speaker 1: been I would say as strong as Pokemon just because
- 18:42Speaker 1: of its lineage. How big could this get? Do you
- 18:44Speaker 1: think we could see this going into a multitude of
- 18:47Speaker 1: franchises around the industry, everywhere, everywhere. Speaking of that, I
- 18:52Speaker 1: want to play a clip for you about how this
- 18:54Speaker 1: may correlate to the whiskey market and how Solona is connected.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Take a look.
- 18:59Speaker 7: Either do this on mo We'll do it through soul
- 19:00Speaker 7: Flay or phantom do it through one of the Salona wallets.
- 19:03Speaker 7: So that was an actual private barrel that was done
- 19:05Speaker 7: for Costco in Washington, d C. It's got the Costco
- 19:08Speaker 7: Hot Dog, the I Got that Dog in Me label,
- 19:10Speaker 7: Like that's an official like brand label.
- 19:12Speaker 3: All right, all right, so we go, here we go,
- 19:14Speaker 3: here we go.
- 19:14Speaker 7: It better be the Costco one man, it's obviously can't
- 19:17Speaker 7: every single time be worth Oh dude, you are on
- 19:19Speaker 7: a streak right now. Yeah, you are on a hot streak.
- 19:23Speaker 7: Whiskey and wine are the kings of deflationary supply. So
- 19:26Speaker 7: you've been giving them as gifts. They're in your possession,
- 19:28Speaker 7: Like what do you do with them?
- 19:29Speaker 4: Now?
- 19:30Speaker 1: All right?
- 19:30Speaker 3: So there you get it.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Whiskey wine of course another big category. That's a big
- 19:34Speaker 1: collector market. How quickly do you think we'll see brand
- 19:38Speaker 1: embracing this, really embracing this.
- 19:41Speaker 3: So I think the way that I would think of it.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Is that it has to be a brand that sort
- 19:45Speaker 2: of emerges in a way that was unexpected. I think
- 19:48Speaker 2: it's gonna be a new whiskey brand or new wine brand.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Oh okay, all right, right, that's.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Going to come out that we were not expected to
- 19:55Speaker 2: do as well. And then suddenly or maybe didn't you know,
- 19:58Speaker 2: and suddenly just kind of takes a off and people go,
- 20:01Speaker 2: oh okay, I need to do something. And then the
- 20:03Speaker 2: brand itself, the big brands then come in and basically
- 20:06Speaker 2: bring everyone together with it, right. And so typically, you know,
- 20:10Speaker 2: this is type of sort of innovation. It usually is
- 20:13Speaker 2: a new player that sort of comes in and then
- 20:15Speaker 2: forces others to sort of sort of sort of you know,
- 20:18Speaker 2: react to it.
- 20:19Speaker 1: You know this is happening when I say this kind
- 20:21Speaker 1: of innovation and happening on Salona, it's happening in a
- 20:24Speaker 1: lot of other places. I want to show you a
- 20:25Speaker 1: clip here. This is in reference to business accounts.
- 20:28Speaker 8: Banking for AI agents by Now, the first ever platform
- 20:32Speaker 8: that allows AI agents to open business bank accounts. Simply
- 20:36Speaker 8: ask your preferred agent to open a bank account with
- 20:39Speaker 8: me Now, and Meow walks you through incorporating opening your
- 20:42Speaker 8: bank account, issuing cards, and getting ready to accept.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Your first payment.
- 20:46Speaker 8: No lawyer, no banker, no headaches, any LLLM open a
- 20:51Speaker 8: bank account.
- 20:52Speaker 1: All right, what do you think about this?
- 20:53Speaker 2: I mean to me, I don't know that a classical
- 20:56Speaker 2: bank account, and I don't think exactly that you know that
- 20:59Speaker 2: that struck in that way is going to be necessary
- 21:02Speaker 2: for an agent, because I think the wallet is the
- 21:04Speaker 2: back account, right, you know, with hell of minds, basically,
- 21:08Speaker 2: the wallet is the identity stack. It's where you can
- 21:10Speaker 2: do basically your you know, your hot wallet trades, and
- 21:13Speaker 2: if you end up basically wanting to sort of you know,
- 21:15Speaker 2: have a custody somewhere with the human and the loop,
- 21:17Speaker 2: you can sort of store and save it somewhere else.
- 21:20Speaker 2: I think banking is going to be completely sort of
- 21:22Speaker 2: you know, altered and changed. Anyway, it's a cool by
- 21:25Speaker 2: the way, it's the same thing with credit cards for agents, right,
- 21:28Speaker 2: it's a it's a cool, necessary sort of step that's
- 21:30Speaker 2: in there, and there's elements around that. But I would
- 21:34Speaker 2: you know, and I can't say that I'm familiar with
- 21:36Speaker 2: me now, so that's actually then something we're definitely going
- 21:39Speaker 2: to have to take a deeper look at because because
- 21:42Speaker 2: I don't think that it's going to be the classic
- 21:45Speaker 2: koy c rails, right, so it has to be ka
- 21:50Speaker 2: and so probably the ky a probably has to be
- 21:52Speaker 2: a human or maybe it's just blockchain tech in the back.
- 21:55Speaker 2: So I think that's you know, and it's basically just
- 21:57Speaker 2: wrapped around essentially like a banking now, but isn't maybe
- 22:01Speaker 2: a licensed back because I think the key thing is
- 22:03Speaker 2: is it a bank or is it more like banking
- 22:06Speaker 2: like infrastructure? Right, It's something probably need to we probably
- 22:09Speaker 2: need to sort of study a bit.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Dive in a little bit the ecosystem I think around
- 22:13Speaker 1: all of this, if it's centered around Solon, I think
- 22:15Speaker 1: this is going to be interesting because there's so many
- 22:17Speaker 1: potentials for this. Solana has an upgrade underway that could
- 22:23Speaker 1: open up some interesting components in blockchain that I want
- 22:27Speaker 1: to talk to you about. Let me play a clip.
- 22:29Speaker 9: If you build subscriptions on Solana today, you run into
- 22:32Speaker 9: a hard limitation. You only get one delegate per tokn account.
- 22:35Speaker 9: So you prove one service, say in Netflix, and it works,
- 22:38Speaker 9: then you prove another, like for example, Spotify, and the
- 22:41Speaker 9: first one gets over it. So out of the box,
- 22:44Speaker 9: you can't support multiple subscriptions from the same ballet, but
- 22:47Speaker 9: introducing a programmable delegation layer that allows multiple independent spending
- 22:52Speaker 9: permissions from a single Toka account.
- 22:54Speaker 3: This makes subscriptions super easy. The program supports.
- 22:57Speaker 9: Three different delegation models. The first one one is the
- 23:00Speaker 9: fixed delegation like a prepaid allowance. Then the second one
- 23:05Speaker 9: is reoccurring delegations like a monthly spent limit you authorize
- 23:10Speaker 9: someone to spend up to x amount of Tokens where
- 23:13Speaker 9: the period length is configurable. And the third one, which
- 23:16Speaker 9: is like of course, the most interesting one is the
- 23:19Speaker 9: subscription plans.
- 23:20Speaker 1: To me, this is huge because I look at subscriptions
- 23:23Speaker 1: right now as a necessary evil. Most of the time
- 23:25Speaker 1: I can't even manage them. I would love a platform
- 23:28Speaker 1: that would enable that kind of fluency of understanding how
- 23:32Speaker 1: my sscriptions are being done and then eventually manage them.
- 23:35Speaker 1: What do you think, what does this unlock?
- 23:36Speaker 2: There's so much you can do when you have ownership
- 23:39Speaker 2: or control over your subscription plans.
- 23:41Speaker 3: That's central in one area. Yeah, I mean, you know,
- 23:44Speaker 3: like one of my favorite.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Little skills that I have for my agents is essentially
- 23:48Speaker 2: it's a sort of subscription cancelation Hunter basically literally just
- 23:52Speaker 2: goes through all the things that said, wait, hold on,
- 23:55Speaker 2: do you actually really subscribe to sort of you know,
- 23:57Speaker 2: basically sort of this, this, this, I don't know this
- 23:59Speaker 2: Washington posting like two years ago we forgot about right, you.
- 24:02Speaker 3: Know that kind of stuff, right, And that's not a
- 24:04Speaker 3: dig on Washington Post. By the way, I do enjoy them.
- 24:06Speaker 2: The other part is the ability for people to innovate
- 24:10Speaker 2: and build new ideas around subscriptions. So I just see
- 24:12Speaker 2: this at the beginning right now, they built the convenience layer.
- 24:15Speaker 2: But what blockchain does so well is that again people
- 24:17Speaker 2: can sort of compose new ideas. Someone will come up
- 24:20Speaker 2: with an idea around a business model around subscriptions. I mean,
- 24:23Speaker 2: for instance, is it feasible for someone to eventually trade
- 24:26Speaker 2: their subscription accounts?
- 24:28Speaker 3: Right?
- 24:28Speaker 2: Should I be able to basically sort of you know,
- 24:30Speaker 2: have a different form of subscription. And the reason why
- 24:33Speaker 2: I think this becomes interesting in terms of right now,
- 24:35Speaker 2: subscriptions are designed for humans. Okay, So the human element
- 24:39Speaker 2: is I pay nineteen dollars or ten dollars a month,
- 24:42Speaker 2: and there's a timing element in between where I as
- 24:45Speaker 2: a human because I can't watch unlimited Netflix movies. Right,
- 24:49Speaker 2: So it's built into the model that there's a capacity
- 24:52Speaker 2: limit because we assume humans have only so many hours
- 24:55Speaker 2: in the day. Now when you take that to an
- 24:57Speaker 2: aage and he doesn't have that limitation whatsoever, right, he's not.
- 25:00Speaker 2: So if you basically think about from an information subscription standpoint,
- 25:03Speaker 2: which we see when you think about these max subscriptions,
- 25:05Speaker 2: which is why Claude is like, no, you can't do
- 25:07Speaker 2: that and whatever, is that when you give it to
- 25:08Speaker 2: an AI agent, you give it a max subscription. It
- 25:11Speaker 2: doesn't just max it it super super max is it
- 25:13Speaker 2: because it can basically consume information and data basically twenty
- 25:17Speaker 2: four x seven at whatever maximum capacity that you will
- 25:20Speaker 2: give it.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Right.
- 25:21Speaker 2: So that means the entire subscription game will change in
- 25:24Speaker 2: ways that we probably haven't quite figured it out yet
- 25:26Speaker 2: because everything will be micro transactions. So I actually think
- 25:29Speaker 2: what will happen is, you know, subscriptions and these kind
- 25:31Speaker 2: of payment services are probably going to be divided up
- 25:34Speaker 2: into ways where I basically spit a thousand ways. Right,
- 25:38Speaker 2: So I might pay for twenty dollars, I pay my
- 25:40Speaker 2: pay for twenty dollars subscription, but that twenty dollars.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Subscription is going to maybe feed.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Ten thousand content providers and I will never need to
- 25:48Speaker 2: know the details except I receive it from my AI agent, right,
- 25:51Speaker 2: and they get paid directly from that. And again, this
- 25:54Speaker 2: is something you can do on blockchain. But imagine if
- 25:57Speaker 2: a central provider had to figure all that out yogo
- 26:00Speaker 2: those partnerships, it would be.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Impossible for them, right.
- 26:02Speaker 2: But if it's on chain, on blockchain, then people will
- 26:05Speaker 2: just simply adopt it and use it themselves. And you know,
- 26:08Speaker 2: put another way, imagine if you know all Netflix subscribers,
- 26:12Speaker 2: And this is obviously a hypothetic example, but imagine if
- 26:14Speaker 2: all Netflix subscribers were actually on chain, right, and I
- 26:18Speaker 2: could vie for the attention of that Netflix subscriber and
- 26:22Speaker 2: grab some of that money, even if it's just one buck, right.
- 26:26Speaker 3: You know, that to me is an innovation.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Or if I'm a subscription type service, I would basically
- 26:31Speaker 2: be able to sort of capture and I would be
- 26:34Speaker 2: more than just a content provider to my own content,
- 26:38Speaker 2: but I could open it up for more services beyond that,
- 26:41Speaker 2: and everyone will just build on you because you've got
- 26:44Speaker 2: the network right right, right, Yeah, So there's so many
- 26:46Speaker 2: things you could do.
- 26:47Speaker 1: It definitely opens up I think a future here. And
- 26:50Speaker 1: if you just look at Solana in general, here's the
- 26:52Speaker 1: r to be a league table just to give an example,
- 26:54Speaker 1: how fast they're moving and right now performing even on
- 26:58Speaker 1: the thirty day and when market share pop above what
- 27:02Speaker 1: we've seen with Stellar starting to approach B and B
- 27:06Speaker 1: right now in terms of real world assets. Do you
- 27:08Speaker 1: think that Solana flips B and B in the RBA
- 27:12Speaker 1: market soon?
- 27:13Speaker 2: Well, so, I think it has to do with projects
- 27:15Speaker 2: are sort of landing on it. So I give you
- 27:17Speaker 2: an example. So for instance, in our case, you know
- 27:19Speaker 2: we're we're working with basically a provenance and that's like
- 27:24Speaker 2: seventeen billion dollars of our deba's already right, So if
- 27:27Speaker 2: you look at that from the league table standpoint, that
- 27:29Speaker 2: would be right on top right, And it's really just
- 27:30Speaker 2: one product.
- 27:31Speaker 3: But so one hand you could say, oh, amazing.
- 27:33Speaker 2: But on the other hand you might say, wait, hold second,
- 27:36Speaker 2: in the scale of assets in trad FI, it's a
- 27:39Speaker 2: drop in the ocean right over the time. So is
- 27:42Speaker 2: it entirely possible that Solana could flip B and B. Yes,
- 27:45Speaker 2: But it also doesn't matter right like the target isn't
- 27:48Speaker 2: beating B and B or even beating ethereum.
- 27:51Speaker 3: The target is essentially becoming.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Meaningful to trad fi right right, So basically, how do
- 27:55Speaker 2: we onboard literally tens of billions a month more rather
- 27:59Speaker 2: than thinking about sort of you know, basically sort of
- 28:01Speaker 2: getting to you know, basically four billion more or five billion,
- 28:05Speaker 2: but that's kind of where the thinking goes.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, so you've got to update update us
- 28:09Speaker 1: a little bit on what's going on with the Hong
- 28:12Speaker 1: Kong Hong Kong stable coin because I'm curious that you
- 28:15Speaker 1: obviously have the best vision and lens into that market.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Where do you see and what do you see right
- 28:21Speaker 1: now happening over there?
- 28:22Speaker 3: Yeah, so I can't talk too much about it.
- 28:24Speaker 2: This is the thing about anything when it comes to
- 28:26Speaker 2: sort of product that ends up becoming regulated, So you
- 28:28Speaker 2: have to be a little bit well sort of mindful
- 28:30Speaker 2: that said, you know, just to reiterate, Hong Kong basically
- 28:33Speaker 2: passed two stable coin licenses to our joint mentor anchor point,
- 28:36Speaker 2: which is a jointmentor with standard Chartered UH and basically
- 28:40Speaker 2: HSBC HSP has already HSBC has already public stated that
- 28:44Speaker 2: they're going to roll it out on sort of pay
- 28:46Speaker 2: me and sort of a sort of more of a
- 28:49Speaker 2: closed environment and standard chartered you know basically. Actually, Anchor
- 28:53Speaker 2: Point has certainly already announced a couple of sort of
- 28:56Speaker 2: you know basically test cases with sort of exchanges in
- 28:58Speaker 2: Hong Kong.
- 28:59Speaker 3: So that's kind of the execution phase.
- 29:01Speaker 2: And of course, you know what we're excited about is
- 29:03Speaker 2: when you start building on you know, within with a
- 29:05Speaker 2: stable coin like hongand dollars, does it allow local developers
- 29:09Speaker 2: to start building new applications for you know like that,
- 29:12Speaker 2: Like Hongkong has a big sort of domestic helper market
- 29:15Speaker 2: for instance, that has to remit money back to your
- 29:17Speaker 2: home to places like the Philippines, right, and they use
- 29:20Speaker 2: traditional sort of sort of feel it's called it Western
- 29:22Speaker 2: union style payments. Blockchain will be perfect for that. But
- 29:25Speaker 2: can I do that now in the native sort of
- 29:27Speaker 2: regulated stable coin as an example, There's so so many
- 29:30Speaker 2: new things that could develop from that.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure. I was looking at you know, gaming companies,
- 29:37Speaker 1: and we analyze these a little bit. This is Games Workshop,
- 29:40Speaker 1: the growth that they have seen in a very short
- 29:43Speaker 1: period of time, and I look at potential IPOs coming
- 29:46Speaker 1: and I think about something that maybe anamoca could be
- 29:49Speaker 1: doing soon.
- 29:50Speaker 3: I know you can't talk.
- 29:51Speaker 1: About an IPO, but in general, what do you think
- 29:54Speaker 1: about the current IPO environment. You've got SpaceX brewing and
- 29:58Speaker 1: Thropic brewing. How does affect your strategy?
- 30:01Speaker 3: Well, so ask me after asking.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Okay, right, I'm generally, as you know, a more optimistic person.
- 30:09Speaker 2: So my perspective is that I think the SpaceX IPO
- 30:12Speaker 2: at least short to midterm will be positive overall because
- 30:15Speaker 2: it's going to be a crazy valuation. People are going
- 30:17Speaker 2: to be sort of excited it's beyond so the whole
- 30:20Speaker 2: combination could create a bullish sort of a Maco sort
- 30:24Speaker 2: of market. The downside of courses that people are saying, well,
- 30:26Speaker 2: a lot of capital is being sucked out, right, there's
- 30:29Speaker 2: a big component going to retail. Are they sort of
- 30:31Speaker 2: you know, selling their positions in other areas so they
- 30:33Speaker 2: can get into the SpaceX ipo. That's is why the
- 30:35Speaker 2: markets are shaky. Who knows, right, is there an AI overspent?
- 30:38Speaker 3: Right?
- 30:38Speaker 2: So the market has obviously got that as well, So
- 30:42Speaker 2: I think I think to me, that's why I think
- 30:44Speaker 2: the key sort of telltale sign is how it does
- 30:47Speaker 2: pretty much on the IPO day and the days there
- 30:49Speaker 2: after and will then set the tone I think for
- 30:52Speaker 2: many many IPOs to come. I suspect of course that
- 30:55Speaker 2: if SpaceX as well Anthropic will do well, right, But
- 30:58Speaker 2: also what will happen is that broadly AI stocks will
- 31:02Speaker 2: also do well as a result, because they're like, oh
- 31:05Speaker 2: my goodness, Like if you know, it's all about the
- 31:08Speaker 2: comparison game. If SpaceX is worth this, then maybe that
- 31:11Speaker 2: is worth that. And so you'll see a general sort
- 31:14Speaker 2: of acceleration in that you know, market is in some
- 31:17Speaker 2: ways running hot.
- 31:18Speaker 3: In certain areas.
- 31:18Speaker 2: We've already seen this effect, you know, with all the
- 31:21Speaker 2: chip and semiconductor companies, like I mean real estate for
- 31:23Speaker 2: instance in Taiwan, in Korea and in Japan in Tokyo
- 31:27Speaker 2: is actually at all time highs because you know, you know,
- 31:32Speaker 2: the top thirty percent of all these stock companies, which
- 31:34Speaker 2: are all sort of index towards AI semiconductor and energy
- 31:37Speaker 2: sort of you know, expansion, are all doing so well.
- 31:40Speaker 2: The challenging thing for crypto though, has been that the
- 31:42Speaker 2: competition with the stock market ironically is such that young
- 31:46Speaker 2: people as well are going well. Should I put putting
- 31:49Speaker 2: money in crypto or should we be winning money in
- 31:51Speaker 2: the stock market, which clears to be doing better, right,
- 31:54Speaker 2: But I think there is an element where people are
- 31:57Speaker 2: also looking to diversify, and you understand that. So it's
- 31:59Speaker 2: not that they're not investing in it. So it's a
- 32:01Speaker 2: net net thing, right, which is like if hey, if
- 32:03Speaker 2: I have one hundred dollars, I'm always going to put
- 32:05Speaker 2: some money in bitcoin and some money in Solana. It's
- 32:07Speaker 2: just I might not put eighty percent of it. I
- 32:09Speaker 2: might put ten and twenty percent. So if the pie enlarges,
- 32:12Speaker 2: so does the broader participation. But then I think structurally
- 32:16Speaker 2: it's basically crypto particular things like Bitcoin has the potential
- 32:19Speaker 2: to accelerate much more faster because of the supply dynamics,
- 32:23Speaker 2: which is, by the way, what we saw, you know,
- 32:25Speaker 2: literally just like a month.
- 32:27Speaker 3: And a half ago, yes, exactly, and I think you could.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Repeat itself quite quickly, you know, which is of course
- 32:32Speaker 2: of holatile nature of the ASAD class.
- 32:34Speaker 1: What do you make of the pre stock you know scenario,
- 32:39Speaker 1: So you've got so much of that moving on the
- 32:41Speaker 1: Solana ecosystem, why not launch a private market token, you know,
- 32:46Speaker 1: in a pre stock you know, for Anamalka.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Actually we finally you should mention that because we didn't
- 32:51Speaker 2: actually do that, but Solana.
- 32:54Speaker 3: And republic did it already.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Yeah, so they announced that they were going to be
- 32:57Speaker 2: basically going to sort of put Animoka stock on basically
- 33:02Speaker 2: with Republica on Solana, but you can now buy Animoka
- 33:05Speaker 2: stock essentially, I think on chain, you know, I think
- 33:09Speaker 2: in sort of you know, test quantities, right, but and
- 33:12Speaker 2: again we're not we're not super close to sure sure process.
- 33:16Speaker 2: So they're really doing it right. And if you look
- 33:18Speaker 2: at some of the tweets that out there obviously sort
- 33:20Speaker 2: of you know, you can see some some announcements and
- 33:22Speaker 2: we've been telling our shareholders as well that that is
- 33:25Speaker 2: something that you know, our people are doing, but just
- 33:27Speaker 2: to be clear, it's not officially something we're doing, right. Yeah,
- 33:30Speaker 2: So it's already happening, and I think it's going to
- 33:32Speaker 2: happen to a lot.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Well, it would be interesting if they take it you
- 33:34Speaker 1: know mainstream, you know, within to that ecosystem for pre
- 33:37Speaker 1: stocks and and what we see in terms of growth.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Last point I want to hit on higgs Field is
- 33:43Speaker 1: now coming to Minecraft. So this changes things up a
- 33:47Speaker 1: little bit. I would think for Sandbox, how do you
- 33:50Speaker 1: think this impacts Sandbox.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Actually, I don't really think this particularly sort of impact
- 33:55Speaker 2: Sandbox per se, right because I think Minecraft and Sandbox
- 33:59Speaker 2: haven't really been in the same competitive field. It's it's
- 34:01Speaker 2: a bit different, even though obviously I think, you know,
- 34:04Speaker 2: Sandbox is obviously the sort of the smaller as much
- 34:09Speaker 2: smaller business compared to sort of Minecraft community. But what
- 34:12Speaker 2: I think, and you know, what I will say is
- 34:15Speaker 2: watch out basically for some announcements for Sandbox in the
- 34:17Speaker 2: next couple of weeks.
- 34:19Speaker 3: We have some very very cool things that will be
- 34:21Speaker 3: talking about.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Right Again, I won't say, I can't say too much
- 34:25Speaker 2: because if I say anything, I understand put it out. However,
- 34:29Speaker 2: that said, I think AI is coming to everything, right, So,
- 34:33Speaker 2: whether it's higgs Field, whether it's what Roadbox is doing,
- 34:36Speaker 2: it's the stuff we're doing hell of minds, right, AI
- 34:37Speaker 2: is coming. And the one thing that they are going
- 34:40Speaker 2: to do is they're going to make it easier for creators.
- 34:43Speaker 1: And that's the main thing right there, exactly right, the
- 34:46Speaker 1: main thing, main thing.
- 34:48Speaker 2: And we are you know, I'm not sure if you
- 34:50Speaker 2: if you're aware, but one of our portfolio companies is Rosebod,
- 34:53Speaker 2: which is basically one of the leading sort of I
- 34:55Speaker 2: guess vibe coding gaming platforms that are out there that's
- 34:59Speaker 2: been growing a fair bit. And of course we also
- 35:00Speaker 2: have a position in a career company called Verse eight.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Right.
- 35:03Speaker 2: So again, sort of gaming vibe coding allowing someone to
- 35:06Speaker 2: basically just come up with some cool creative stuff is
- 35:08Speaker 2: something that's happening there. People are making games with hell
- 35:10Speaker 2: of minds as well. Right, So this sort of mishmash
- 35:13Speaker 2: of being able to sort of really sort of compose
- 35:16Speaker 2: and create new sort of cool stuff is something that
- 35:19Speaker 2: is already is already sort of happening. And so I
- 35:24Speaker 2: think of this more as an onboarding. Right. So, once
- 35:26Speaker 2: you're in there, like for instance, when you build something,
- 35:29Speaker 2: if higgs Field is coming to Minecraft, remember the composibility
- 35:32Speaker 2: of an agent is endless.
- 35:34Speaker 3: They don't care.
- 35:35Speaker 2: It's like, hey, you know, Cloud can speak Coble speak
- 35:38Speaker 2: it plus see sharp, it can do all this stuff, right, right,
- 35:43Speaker 2: So if something is so one of the challenges four
- 35:46Speaker 2: or five years ago really through in Sandbox when they
- 35:49Speaker 2: had sort of when they were pushing the Vauxel builder,
- 35:51Speaker 2: was that the Vauxel Builder had to be built by
- 35:53Speaker 2: humans to basically have other humans build vauxeles, and now
- 35:57Speaker 2: you can just prompt them to do it right.
- 35:59Speaker 3: It doesn't matter whether's higgs Field or someone else.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Anyone can do it, and so the tooling in and
- 36:04Speaker 2: of itself is no longer the most critical thing.
- 36:08Speaker 3: The most critical thing is having the users, the community
- 36:11Speaker 3: and the ease.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Of essentially creating those assets and then incorporate thing, incorporating
- 36:16Speaker 2: them in your environment.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it's always fun talking to you. I love getting
- 36:20Speaker 1: into this because it gives us a much bit broader
- 36:22Speaker 1: and I think deeper look at really what's happening in
- 36:25Speaker 1: the next generation of all this stuff going forward. So
- 36:28Speaker 1: thanks for coming in today.
- 36:29Speaker 3: Thank you for having me.
