- 0:00Speaker 1: It's a special is it Legit? Episode of cleaning out
- 0:03Speaker 1: Sound Fridge? It's one more thing, one more thing. We'll
- 0:10Speaker 1: get to thee is it Legit section of the program
- 0:13Speaker 1: after some frivolity. I think we have at least one
- 0:17Speaker 1: joke we didn't use, right, Michael, as we clean out Sandfrich. Oh,
- 0:19Speaker 1: I'm sorry, man, I'm sorry. How rude of me? Uh?
- 0:25Speaker 1: What do we have? We got number three?
- 0:29Speaker 2: And of course, Michael, if the jokes aren't funny, it's
- 0:32Speaker 2: your delame.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, well they're okay, but here, here we go.
- 0:37Speaker 4: McDonald's this week released the commercial featuring its character Mayor
- 0:40Speaker 4: mccheese for the first time since nineteen eighty five, and
- 0:43Speaker 4: even he's polling above Andrew Cuomo.
- 0:49Speaker 1: No, it's not a great joke, but it made me laugh,
- 0:52Speaker 1: Mayor mccheese. Did we run the sushi restaurant?
- 0:57Speaker 5: One?
- 0:58Speaker 1: I do love this soush?
- 1:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00Speaker 4: Florida Sushi restaurant was ordered to close last month after
- 1:04Speaker 4: a health inspector found a cockroach inside its rice cooker.
- 1:08Speaker 4: To be fair, a cockroach and rice is Florida Sushi.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I had sushi from the Safeway grocery store the other day,
- 1:21Speaker 2: and I realized that ninety to one hundred percent of
- 1:25Speaker 2: the sushi I've eaten in the last five years always
- 1:27Speaker 2: have all been from low tier grocery stores. So I
- 1:30Speaker 2: don't I don't know if I remember what real sushi
- 1:32Speaker 2: tastes like.
- 1:34Speaker 6: Wow, Hey, I won't knock grocery store sushi. It does
- 1:38Speaker 6: the job when you're craving sushi. But correct, it does
- 1:41Speaker 6: the job when you're craving sushi. But I mean, there
- 1:43Speaker 6: are some grocery stores where it's great. Yeah, but it's
- 1:46Speaker 6: not at this store.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Getting some grocery stores where it's acceptable, Okay, might be true.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I will not I will not allow that last sentence.
- 1:54Speaker 1: I don't know what great sushi is. So we had
- 1:57Speaker 1: our friend, ying Ma, who's from China. She is suggested
- 2:01Speaker 1: to me in San Francisco because we were talking about
- 2:03Speaker 1: sushi butt like real sushi. You need a real sushi place.
- 2:05Speaker 2: She suggested a place to me and I went there,
- 2:08Speaker 2: and I guess it was the most authentic, but it
- 2:09Speaker 2: smelled like a freaking bait bucket in there, and I
- 2:13Speaker 2: just couldn't. I couldn't stomach down anything.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, I I vowed not to listen to
- 2:21Speaker 1: anything you have to say about food ages ago, and
- 2:23Speaker 1: that was before COVID messed up your brain, your your taste,
- 2:27Speaker 1: your hard brain. So well, let's you know, that's where
- 2:30Speaker 1: the sense of smell actually occurs and taste. So no,
- 2:34Speaker 1: you're heard of tasting. I won't, I won't have it.
- 2:37Speaker 2: What do you like? It really really fishy? I don't
- 2:39Speaker 2: like it.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Fish super fishy, not supposed to be No, no, And
- 2:43Speaker 1: this place I went to was super duper fishy.
- 2:45Speaker 2: It was like a taste of it. It smelled like
- 2:48Speaker 2: a doc. You know how a dock smells like they've
- 2:50Speaker 2: been there's fish everywhere.
- 2:52Speaker 6: Yes, the only fish that is supposed to smell and
- 2:56Speaker 6: taste like fish is mackerel, and I can't stand mackerel.
- 2:59Speaker 7: But the rest of it you're not supposed to be
- 3:00Speaker 7: able to smell.
- 3:01Speaker 2: My experience is the more expensive like I went to
- 3:05Speaker 2: I hate. I won't say the amount, but the amount of.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Money talk about food, Katie, by the way, gone.
- 3:10Speaker 2: The amount stopping you so going? The most money I
- 3:13Speaker 2: ever spent ever in my life on one meal with
- 3:15Speaker 2: a with a companion. Was it the best sushi place
- 3:19Speaker 2: supposedly in Los Angeles? And I had to get a
- 3:21Speaker 2: reservation a long time ahead of time, and they only
- 3:23Speaker 2: seat like twelve people at time, And there was a
- 3:25Speaker 2: baby alligator head sitting on the table in front of me.
- 3:31Speaker 2: I mean, this place is so expensive. It was just
- 3:33Speaker 2: like half the stuff made me want to up chuck.
- 3:36Speaker 2: It was just so it was too much.
- 3:39Speaker 7: It was too much, too fishy.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Stick to the gas station sushi.
- 3:43Speaker 2: But I don't don't. I don't like they staying in
- 3:45Speaker 2: your lane. I don't like I don't like Disneyland sushi either.
- 3:50Speaker 2: There are some sushi sushi places that so sushi adjacent
- 3:54Speaker 2: that it's I don't like that either.
- 3:55Speaker 6: So somewhere in between, I didn't even know they did
- 3:58Speaker 6: sushi at Disneyland.
- 3:59Speaker 7: Is it all shaped like everything? Shape like the mouse?
- 4:03Speaker 2: There a lot of rice, very little fish dressed up
- 4:05Speaker 2: with all kinds of different juices and squeezings.
- 4:09Speaker 1: It's more likely it's shaped like.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Would be a better choice.
- 4:16Speaker 7: No, it's then you're eating Nemo. They can't do that.
- 4:19Speaker 2: If you're eating Pluto, you're at the Disneyland in Beijing.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Beautiful. All right, that's enough of that. See uh roll
- 4:34Speaker 1: us a clip number ten, which is labeled as the
- 4:38Speaker 1: worst woman.
- 4:39Speaker 5: Ever, my favorite thing to do right now is to
- 4:41Speaker 5: be super rude and Nazis, I mean Trumpers, same thing.
- 4:45Speaker 5: It is so fun and so easy. They all usually
- 4:50Speaker 5: have a flag on somewhere, so they're super identifiable, and
- 4:54Speaker 5: I'm just rude. I'm as rude as possible. I cut
- 4:56Speaker 5: them off in line, I give them dirty looks. They
- 4:59Speaker 5: will react, usually shy and honest, say why are you
- 5:03Speaker 5: so student? And then they get really pissed. They'll say
- 5:06Speaker 5: you're dude, and I'll say, and you're Nazi?
- 5:08Speaker 1: And what they do not like that? So you know, uh,
- 5:18Speaker 1: one of the greatest pieces of wisdom I ever learned
- 5:21Speaker 1: in my life. It's been incredibly helpful for me and
- 5:25Speaker 1: I have had and I kid you not several people
- 5:28Speaker 1: thank me for imparting this piece of wisdom to them.
- 5:33Speaker 1: And I'm gonna lay it on you right now. Jack
- 5:35Speaker 1: knows this one. Somebody as obnoxious and horrible as that,
- 5:41Speaker 1: I hereby sentence you to be you for the rest
- 5:44Speaker 1: of your life. That is a miserable punishment. And my
- 5:49Speaker 1: need for justice is satisfied.
- 5:51Speaker 2: YEA, she is not a happy person.
- 5:53Speaker 6: Guaranteed she was a double offender too, because, first of all,
- 5:57Speaker 6: way too old to be talking like that, late fifties
- 5:59Speaker 6: maybe early sixties, sitting in her car eating, So that
- 6:03Speaker 6: little you heard before every sentence was her chewing, trying
- 6:06Speaker 6: to keep the food in her mouth, so it was
- 6:09Speaker 6: trumped arrangement syndrome and.
- 6:11Speaker 1: In her car.
- 6:12Speaker 2: So she's doing the only place you can do a
- 6:14Speaker 2: political screed, sitting in your car for someone.
- 6:16Speaker 7: Well, shoving a chicken wrap into her face.
- 6:20Speaker 1: See you next Tuesday. All right, Oh, and here's the
- 6:27Speaker 1: is it legit section of the program. Michael. Michael set
- 6:31Speaker 1: this up for us in our pre show meeting saying, well,
- 6:36Speaker 1: go ahead and describe it as you described it.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Then if you recall, okay, it's a fan, I've seen
- 6:41Speaker 3: the video. Actually it's a family spreading their loved ones
- 6:44Speaker 3: ashes and they're on a boat and they're dumping the
- 6:47Speaker 3: ashes into the sea. So it's very touching moment, right.
- 6:50Speaker 3: But they were using Spotify to plank to play Frank
- 6:53Speaker 3: Sinatra and the song comes to it, and unfortunately they
- 6:58Speaker 3: didn't have the ad free version of Spotify, and so
- 7:00Speaker 3: here's what happened.
- 7:02Speaker 8: Beon, Oh, this is the quickest way to clear out stuff.
- 7:21Speaker 7: Poop. The number one you the regular.
- 7:25Speaker 5: Lastest way to clear out stuff poop is by adding
- 7:28Speaker 5: more fiber to your giant.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Okay, so they're using they didn't pay for the commercial
- 7:35Speaker 1: free version of Spotify. Correct, and a commercial for cleaning
- 7:39Speaker 1: out stray poop came on that started with a fart noise.
- 7:43Speaker 1: All right. When when Michael described this prior to the show, Jack,
- 7:48Speaker 1: you reacted, that sounds phonny.
- 7:50Speaker 2: I think it's one hundred percent too perfect. It is
- 7:54Speaker 2: too perfect. I could believe the first half of it
- 7:57Speaker 2: that maybe you were going to play a song for
- 8:00Speaker 2: a funeral off of Spotify, and then an ad played that.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I could believe the fact that it happens to start
- 8:05Speaker 2: with flatulation is too much. It's fake, an attempt to
- 8:09Speaker 2: go viral, which a lot of people try to do.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Uh, Michael, did you say you emailed the video to me?
- 8:15Speaker 1: I did.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Yeah, when this morning about five.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Fifty five, check in a second, I will actually five
- 8:22Speaker 1: fifty six. Michael used to be clear, Wow, there it
- 8:25Speaker 1: is all right. Here we go. I'm watching the damn thing.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Here we go. Let's do this. See why we're rolling
- 8:31Speaker 1: watching it.
- 8:32Speaker 6: I think it's like a like something within the family,
- 8:35Speaker 6: you know what I mean, Like my mom thinks parts
- 8:36Speaker 6: are hilarious.
- 8:37Speaker 7: This is something we would totally do for the whole
- 8:39Speaker 7: prison of life.
- 8:40Speaker 2: So somebody who's trying to joke, somebody in the family awesoble,
- 8:42Speaker 2: which is that's fine, that's perfectly fine. You know, that's okay.
- 8:45Speaker 1: And a fake attempt day it's it's like unavailable. Now.
- 8:49Speaker 2: For some reason, I'm highly offended by fake attempts to
- 8:52Speaker 2: go viral. I think that should be uh in the
- 8:54Speaker 2: criminal code. That should be a law. You can't do
- 8:57Speaker 2: a fake attempt to go viral. M you can't do
- 9:01Speaker 2: the pretend proposal where she slaps him and runs off
- 9:05Speaker 2: at a baseball game. Yeah, and you try to become
- 9:08Speaker 2: an influencer. I just yeah, yeah right.
- 9:12Speaker 7: And also, well, I won't spoil the fun.
- 9:14Speaker 1: I did say, hang on, I'm watching it now, Okay,
- 9:20Speaker 1: all right. They're pouring the ashes, they're not scattering, they're
- 9:22Speaker 1: just pouring them out, throwing flowers into the water. No,
- 9:28Speaker 1: I think it's.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Legit really well, that's a heck of a coincidence.
- 9:32Speaker 1: So my reason, no, it's not. No, it's you're looking
- 9:35Speaker 1: at it pass awkwards. The only reason we're seeing it
- 9:37Speaker 1: is because it was that nutty. If it hadn't been
- 9:41Speaker 1: that nutty, that's why it rows to the top of
- 9:45Speaker 1: the billions of postings on YouTube. I think so.
- 9:50Speaker 6: According to AI and the Internet, there is no specific
- 9:54Speaker 6: Spotify commercial that has that feature on it.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Now.
- 9:58Speaker 7: There is one on YouTube, which it could just be
- 10:02Speaker 7: the mixed up.
- 10:03Speaker 6: What streaming service they were using, and that absolutely could
- 10:06Speaker 6: have been a song off of YouTube followed by this
- 10:08Speaker 6: ad which would you know.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I know the ad thing playing When I was
- 10:13Speaker 2: playing music for my son's football games. I was playing
- 10:15Speaker 2: it off my phone, which is pretty low rent way
- 10:18Speaker 2: to do it as a guy up in the box
- 10:19Speaker 2: doing the announcing and then during the you know, the timeouts,
- 10:23Speaker 2: dadana hey, I'd play off my phone and uh but
- 10:28Speaker 2: I was on some thing where an ad would play
- 10:30Speaker 2: now and then luckily it wasn't that one. Orna gone
- 10:34Speaker 2: viral and ben hilarious because people find flatulation hilarious.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I don't know why that is anti flatulence fundamentalist.
- 10:42Speaker 2: I am. I could join the Tally band if that
- 10:46Speaker 2: was our main thing.
- 10:48Speaker 1: I was just reading about the Ayatola ru Hola homine
- 10:52Speaker 1: back in the day. If he was like anti farting,
- 10:55Speaker 1: you'd have been right by his side.
- 10:57Speaker 2: It's disgusting. I don't see why it's funny. I saw
- 11:00Speaker 2: you watching the ad, the noise happened, and you smiled.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Why I don't get that. I don't understand why that
- 11:05Speaker 2: is a smile working.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Because all the family all looked around and started laughing
- 11:10Speaker 1: and giggling. It's because I was delighted at a beautiful
- 11:13Speaker 1: family moment. Ayatola, why don't you go be headed to center,
- 11:18Speaker 1: you maniac? But towrdsure's somebody in your secret prison that
- 11:21Speaker 1: you get put into for farting lunatic.
- 11:27Speaker 3: Well, I guess that's it.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Oh that's funny, perfect ending.
