  Speaker 1: Good morning, Good morning. It is time for us to

  Speaker 1: go to God in prayer, and as always I ask

  Speaker 1: that you join along with me in prayer. And you know,

  Speaker 1: I've been kind of dealing with some of these things

  Speaker 1: that sometimes we go through as Christians. You know, anger, frustration, worry,

  Speaker 1: and all of these Galatians five nineteen through twenty one

  Speaker 1: kind of speaks to that. Y'all. We all have situations
• 0:25
  Speaker 1: in our lives that frustrate us, that upset us and
• 0:27
  Speaker 1: make us mad. But we've got to be careful how
• 0:30
  Speaker 1: we handle those situations because you know your flesh is
• 0:33
  Speaker 1: a mess. Well, I won't speak for y'all. I'll speak
• 0:36
  Speaker 1: for me. My flesh is a mess, and it will
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: rise up. Ooh child. The word talks about in Galatians
• 0:42
  Speaker 1: five nineteen through twenty one. The acts of the flesh
• 0:45
  Speaker 1: are obvious sexual immorality, impurity, debauchery, idolatry and witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy,

  Speaker 1: fensive rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy, drunkenness, orgies

  Speaker 1: and the like. I warn you, as I did before,

  Speaker 1: that those who live like this will not inherit the
• 1:09
  Speaker 1: kingdom of God, you know, so often in the world.

  Speaker 1: We are faced with so many things that we see

  Speaker 1: with our eyes on television and all the things that
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: we hear in the music and what's going on around us.

  Speaker 1: We got to make sure that while we are in
• 1:28
  Speaker 1: the world, we are not of the world, that we
• 1:32
  Speaker 1: don't act like the world hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage,
• 1:38
  Speaker 1: selfish ambition, envy, drunkenness. Oh, Father God, in the name
• 1:42
  Speaker 1: of Jesus Christ, you said in your word to be holy.

  Speaker 1: That wasn't a suggestion, God, that was a command to
• 1:49
  Speaker 1: be holy. So, Father, God, forgive us for the times
• 1:53
  Speaker 1: where we've missed the mark or we failed you. Those
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: things we've done knowingly, and sometimes God, those things we've
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: done unknowingly. Search our hearts. God show us where we
• 2:04
  Speaker 1: may be dealing with some jealousy or some anger issues
• 2:08
  Speaker 1: or selfishness in our hearts. God, reveal those things to
• 2:11
  Speaker 1: us so that we can deal with them. God, you said,
• 2:14
  Speaker 1: and you're worth that if any man lacks wisdom, you
• 2:16
  Speaker 1: would liberally give to him, and a braid if not,
• 2:19
  Speaker 1: you won't hold back. So God, we ask for wisdom
• 2:21
  Speaker 1: and how to deal with situations where we're frustrated or
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: we're angry or we're disappointed, and even times, God, when
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: we're lonely or sad or whatever the emotion. God, help
• 2:33
  Speaker 1: us to turn to You and not to the world's
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: way of handling things. God, we want to be pleasing
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: in your sight. We want to honor you with our lives.
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: Help us put our flesh under subjection to you in
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: Jesus' name. Amen,
