Jets Lock Up Gritty Bauer | Winnipeg Jets News
Winnipeg Jets lock up gritty defenseman Tyrel Bauer on a two-year deal averaging $875K annually, with a two-way first year and one-way second — a smart move for a 24-year-old who’s already made his mark with 5 points and 110 penalty minutes in 52 AHL games last season, plus playoff action and the prestigious AHL Man of the Year award for community impact. A sixth-round pick since 2020, Bauer brings serious physicality and heart — and now the Jets are betting big on his development.
