- 0:00Are you ready for this, Amanda, Let's do it. Come It's not
- 0:03for a little number. Famously uh done on Friday's well hypothetical situation game called
- 0:10what do You Do? And play along in your car at work, at
- 0:13home, and Amanda, you're the lady, so you go ahead the first
- 0:16one. All right, You're sitting at home and you get a text on
- 0:19your phone from an unnamed man who says you get the text, Pike,
- 0:25you can hack into anything, absolutely anything you choose right now. All you
- 0:31have to do is tell me what it is and not a person will know.
- 0:36It's that simple. So, Pike, what what do you mean?
- 0:42How do we know it's a man because it's said unnamed man? What do
- 0:47you do? The text says unnamed man. Why do you got to poke
- 0:54holes in my story? What would you hack into? Nobody's gonna know.
- 0:58I feel like this one was pretty hasty still be written. No, not
- 1:00at all. It's so intriguing. Well, of course, it feels like
- 1:03a scam, not something i'd probably respond to. But okay, let's say
- 1:08it's right, okay, okay, the Texans remember unnamed man, this is
- 1:12totally legit, Heypike, remember the name of the game hypothetical situations. Well,
- 1:17I'm pretending that this is the situation and that's what I would hypothetically do.
- 1:21Hack into something. Yeah, I'd want to hack into the sphere in
- 1:25Vegas, and I want to I'd want to put a silly video up on
- 1:29it. See, this is this is entertaining what you would and what and
- 1:33what would it be? I wonder I'm trying to think of the funniest thing
- 1:36to project on the sphere, which, of course the big round building in
- 1:38Vegas. That would be a day nobody would know. You would go viral
- 1:46and only you'd be sending. They couldn't stop it either. I'm having a
- 1:53heyday thinking about it. Right, Okay, So was it so bad this
- 1:57hypothetical situation? It was bad. I made it. Alma, you're at
- 2:05home in your Jammy's. Let me guess an unnamed man is gonna pop.
- 2:08I'm kidding. Sorry. When you get a knock on the door, it's
- 2:13the mayor of Fargo. Mahoney, Is that who that is? Yeah?
- 2:17Uh, he says Amanda. I'm stepping down as mayor. Oh and I
- 2:23want you to take my place. Of course, you'll need to quit your
- 2:27job. But you'll make two times as much being the mayor, So,
- 2:30Amanda, I don't know that to be true. I don't know what the
- 2:38mayor's salary isn't I don't know anither. What do you do? Gosh,
- 2:44mahoney, before that Wallacker, I mean, I'm just going back and I'm
- 2:49just I'm looking at their track record. I mean, I know it's a
- 2:52little dry. I just can't imagine going through flood season. And I'm gonna
- 2:57have to be the one to like give this speeches. Flood season, we
- 3:00build a diversion. That's not that's a thing of the past. I feel
- 3:06like I'm just putting myself in this situation. I don't think I have it
- 3:09in me. I don't think i'd be a good man. It's too difficult,
- 3:12I think. So Okay, Yeah, I'm sorry, mahoney, I'm
- 3:15gonna have to pass on that. Really appreciate the offer. Apologize to your
- 3:20family for not taking that offer. You're really gonna change. You can have
- 3:24college for Sydney. I'm good, I'm good. All right, you're downtown
- 3:29for St. Patty's Day. Bubcral's going on. It is packed, which,
- 3:31by the way, next weekend. Oh yeah, very excited. You're
- 3:35at the sports bar and you walk into the bathroom. This is going to
- 3:38be the very front bathroom. Unfortunately, it's been a day. There's been
- 3:42a lot of people kind of coming in and out of that bathroom. And
- 3:45you can tell the toilet's plugged. It has like just the tissue in it.
- 3:47Like you can still go to the bathroom. You're just nobody can flush
- 3:51this toilet at this point. Right, So you're you go to the bathroom,
- 3:53and while you're going to the bathroom, you see this little hint of
- 3:58green. You'll look and in the toilet is gross, I know, but
- 4:04it's a green one hundred dollars bill. You know, it is one hundred
- 4:09dollars kind of you can you can see it. But well, are you
- 4:16gonna go in there? Are you gonna just look at it? So,
- 4:18Pike, it's one hundred dollars in a disgusting toilet. Well what do you
- 4:28do? Well, Amanda, there's two kindas So we try that again.
- 4:33Well, Amanda, there's two kinds of green that I love, And the
- 4:38first one is money. What's the second? The Green Bay packers? Oh?
- 4:45Gross, So Pike, I'll fish it out of there. Yeah,
- 4:50what the heck. Oh how are you? Now? I have to know.
- 4:53How are you gonna fish that out of there? You just dig in
- 4:56and then wash your hands. Oh, I understand, I understand, And
- 5:00then you're gonna have to because it's gonna be disgusting. So then how are
- 5:02you gonna take it? Shower with it? You watch that documentary where that
- 5:06rapper is showering one hundred dollars bills. You shower with it and then you
- 5:11put it in the dryer. Apparently the money's fine, I know, but
- 5:13you fished it out of the toilet, and now you're still at a pup
- 5:15cross. Okay, I'll just hurry up and spend it. Then at somebody
- 5:17else's problem. Give it to the bar, figure it out. Round of
- 5:21shots on you? Oh okay, gross anyway, All right, Amanda,
- 5:26You're at home, this time in a full tuxedo, when you get a
- 5:30knock at the door. This time it's a guy with a gun, and
- 5:38he says, as he's pointing the gun. Of course, Amanda, sing
- 5:42me a song from start to finish without messing up a single word, or
- 5:47bad things are gonna happen. So Amanda can't mess up a single word or
- 5:56bad things are gonna happen? What they I bust out spice girls, If
- 6:02you want to be my lover, you gotta get with my friends, And
- 6:06then I would just keep rolling. You think you could do that whole song
- 6:09start to fit because of course everybody feels like they know that's that's the one.
- 6:13I know. You're not singing along with the song. You gotta actually
- 6:15just recite the words. Oh, there's no backtrack, there's no background music.
- 6:19No, you'd be surprised how difficult it is. Not a single word.
- 6:24So what is for example, what does she say after I don't even
- 6:27know. It's if you want to be you gotta get with my friends,
- 6:30making for right? What is that word ship? Never? I didn't say
- 6:35sing every third word? Yeah, okay, bad choice, and it's a
- 6:41zigaza. And then you get to the rappers. Yo, here's a story
- 6:46from a is he you want to get with me? You gotta listen carefully.
- 6:49We got m in the place. No, I don't know. I
- 6:54don't know what these bad things this guy had in mind. Word, but
- 6:56they're happening. And you think I'm a gonner. Yeah, well, in
- 7:01a minute in the morning, Big ninety eight point seven man, I'm incredibly
- 7:04nervous, first of all, and very honored, very excited for our next
- 7:09guest here. I can't believe this is really happening. I'm not joking when
- 7:13I say, now on the Pike and a man in the morning show.
- 7:15Ladies and gentlemen, Pike, hellow Pike. Okay, for those listening,
- 7:20there are two of us in here named Pike currently, which is a situation
- 7:24I've never been in. So, how old are you Pike? Ok you're
- 7:27nine years old? Awesome? Can you confirm that your name is actually Pike?
- 7:30Yes? Yeah, So when you're at school, where do you go
- 7:32to school? Eight four or west? And so when you go to school
- 7:36and you sign your name, what do you put when you write your name?
- 7:41What do you put? Probably your name? I'm just clarifying I've really
- 7:45running into the ring. She asked really difficult questions. I'm I'm used to
- 7:48it. Alters over here started the hard hitting stuff. So your whole life,
- 7:54all nine years of it? How have you felt about your name?
- 7:57Do you like it? You think it's weird? What are you think?
- 8:00I like it? You do? Is it? Do you know anybody else
- 8:03in the world named Pike? Well? Now I do. Thanks for stealing
- 8:07his name, Pike. Well, this is so cool. So of course
- 8:11we met your dad or I met your dad and he told me that he
- 8:13had a sun named Pike, and I just had to meet you because I've
- 8:16never in my life also being named Pike. I've never met anyone else with
- 8:18the same name. You're nine years old. What do you like to do?
- 8:22Roller blade man? For a second, I thought he was going to
- 8:24say wrestling, and I was about to be sent are you wrestler? Wrestler?
- 8:28Well, you used to bed just there was only room for one Pike
- 8:33on the mat in ai gf a boor updae area if you want to stick
- 8:39with it. The bar is pretty low as far as anybody named Pike wrestling,
- 8:41so it's wide open for you. But you're only nine, so you
- 8:45got time. I know you want to, you know, try everything.
- 8:46Of course, has anybody ever said to you like, wow, that's a
- 8:48cool name. No? No, no, Have your parents ever told you
- 8:52what they named you after? Yeah? Yeah, Well we're going to talk
- 8:56to your parents here in a second. We're going to get the real story.
- 8:58I have a feeling, of course it was named entirely after me.
- 9:01Oh you think so, we'll find out. We'll find out fans over here.
- 9:05Hot, So you got people listening? Right? Who you got listening?
- 9:07You? Any friends, family, classmates? Do you have a girlfriend?
- 9:11No? You good? Nine years old? Man? Hey, last
- 9:16I know? And then what's your sister's name? Well? I have a
- 9:20son, Jelly, and a brother and Benjamin. That's actually that's where we
- 9:26met. I met a Pike's dad at state wrestling. This all happened.
- 9:30Yes, we were one or two beers deep at the Drury Inn in Saint
- 9:33Paul. We got to talking. This is where magic happens. Oh,
- 9:39man, I love it well, Pike, So we're going to talk to
- 9:41your parents now? Is that all right? Yes? Well, now we
- 9:43have the parents of Pike, Pike number two. It sounds like a disservice
- 9:48the Pike who's nine years old. Chad Junior. Chad and Kayla are the
- 9:52mother and father of Pike. Now start with you. Chad. Of course,
- 9:56who I got to know what the state wrestling tournament? So can you
- 9:58tell me the story again of how Pike's name came to be. We were
- 10:03actually heading to the ultrasound appointment to find out if be a boy or a
- 10:07girl. So we decided that we're gonna, you know, last minute go
- 10:11over names of things and a good time to do it. Yeah, and
- 10:16uh we figured out, uh, Pikes snowboarder skeleton like the Bob sleds.
- 10:22Yeah, yeah, that's Olympia. Last name, last name, got it.
- 10:28I was like, I've never heard of a Pike before. Ye,
- 10:30Pikes would be a good girl's name. Yes, and you've never heard of
- 10:35anybody else having that is like a first name, her last name. And
- 10:39she was really cool. She got she got like a silver medal that year
- 10:41or something. Yeah, and then uh, we settled that and decided we
- 10:46needed to do something for a boy. And actually you weren't the driving factor,
- 10:50but I said, don't doubt I'm not going to give him any like
- 10:58you. We had an agreement. But when I said Pike, She's like,
- 11:01oh, how's that going to work? And I was like, well,
- 11:03Pike on the radio when they talk in conversation, it's not like a
- 11:07big thing. It doesn't really stand out when you hear Pike on the radio.
- 11:09In fact, you probably sort of dismiss it. The guy doct correctespecially
- 11:13after they've met you, Like tune in an hour yeah, very much.
- 11:18So then it went on to, well, what middle name would we pair
- 11:22with Pike? Well, and in this northern are my favorite fish. So
- 11:24I was like, right, I'm all for that, really really so,
- 11:30and what would we pair with Pike? And uh, my uncle his name
- 11:33is Delray actually, but we're Basque people and he's dark complexed and everybody calls
- 11:37him Paco, And so we just said Pike Paco Jones and his middle name
- 11:41is Paco. Correct, you are the coolest kid ever. Pike Paco Jones
- 11:46is I'm not even kidding, objectively the coolest name I've ever heard. Yeah,
- 11:50that's why he said that he's gonna ask it for a job on the
- 11:52radio and with you guys, and it's gonna be Pike, Amanda Pike.
- 11:58But he's the first Pike. Absolutely, we're going with Pike in the morning.
- 12:03I mean, he was with Pike at one point, so we can
- 12:05probably with Pike Pike Paco. That's cool. I'm glad you said that because
- 12:11we have, you know, like the big voice guy that goes Pike Man
- 12:13in the morning. We've special created a new version of it that includes Pike
- 12:16in the name. Yeah, so we're gonna I'm gonna call it Pike,
- 12:20Pike and Amanda. Okay, just I know that your idea was cool.
- 12:24But as you can tell, Pikes ego is, I mean, it's it's
- 12:26hard. In fact, I don't know how We've been in here with two
- 12:30Pikes all morning. It's quite unbelievable to fit all of this ego in this
- 12:35room. Well, Chad, Kayla Pike, are you ready to hear it?
- 12:39You ready to make it? Legit with a big voice? Guy?
- 12:41All right here we got Aiken in the morning, big ninety eight point seven.
- 12:48What a weekend to be madly in love? How about it? I
- 12:52have a few little secrets I've been able to uncover from couples who are madly
- 12:56in love. These are things that you could be doing. And how did
- 13:01you feel when you were reading it? Did you feel like, Man,
- 13:03I've got to go win on. Lauren's a lucky I don't need to read
- 13:05a silly list to know that I'm madly in love. Okay, I mean
- 13:09I wouldn't think so. Right, Let's see if you're doing these things.
- 13:13For example, they stay in touch throughout the day, no matter how busy
- 13:16they are. Yeah. In fact, my husband's like what are we going
- 13:20to talk about tonight, lady, because we communicate throughout the whole day.
- 13:26Oh you run out of stock? That's not like I get home, I'm
- 13:28like, how was your Day's like, I don't know, I talked to
- 13:30you about fifteen minutes ago, lady. Yeah, well you guys have it
- 13:33with kids. There's more to stay into contact about it. Absolutely, yep,
- 13:35yep. Meeting right now, just getting a text, I don't see.
- 13:39That's like sort of the op. That's why I enjoy maybe not having
- 13:43all those conversations throughout the day. One, if you're busy, that's not
- 13:46productive. And two then when you get home, you got like a whole
- 13:48day to go over. You know. Of course we're in contact somewhat,
- 13:52but don't overdo it. Yeah, some days probably overdone. Other days you'll
- 13:56be like, must have been busy this morning and hadn't heard from you?
- 13:58You know, really, are you kidding me? All the things I'm doing
- 14:03after this program? Oh you're busy. But remember like the early times when
- 14:07you're just falling madly in love and it's like constant was constantly looking at your
- 14:11phone responding to things that or when you would see I remember when we first
- 14:13started dating, you'd see that taxed to say Nicholas and I had his full
- 14:18name in there, full name in there, and you'd go ping. I'm
- 14:20like, just get all and then the pressure to like reply with something clever
- 14:26or funny or cute. You think about it? Did you ever like send
- 14:28it to your friends? Like, hey, do you think this is a
- 14:30good one? I used to screenshot my absurd picture, like screenshot our conversations
- 14:35to my girlfriends like, oh my gosh, look at what you said.
- 14:37Oh man, well I'm about to throw up. But before that, these
- 14:43are other things secrets. Couples are madly in love. Do you like they're
- 14:45intimate somewhere fun or different? That's uh, that's interesting. Okay, yeah,
- 14:54definitely we had that. Yes, there was a time, Yeah of
- 14:58course. Ye. Also, couples are a math ween love, work up
- 15:01a sweat together? Oh see working out? Isn't that? It's amazing to
- 15:05me? What that doesn't to a relationship? Is it? Right? Yes?
- 15:09What do you guys do for workouts together? So we just have the
- 15:11peloton downstairs, but I'll go on usually first, and then he'll go on.
- 15:16But it's like watching him, like just like switching out, or then
- 15:20I'm doing a little something it's something about it. Or he'll come up after
- 15:22working out and I'm like, yeah, i mean sweaty, but just kind
- 15:26of that. Oh yeah, it's a moment. Yeah, we'll go to
- 15:28the gym together and you know, my wife will do like the elliptical or
- 15:31treadmill or whatever, and then you know she'll come over and spot me when
- 15:33I'm under the bench. Friend, just the case she can do more than
- 15:37me, so it's good to have her on hand. Ah that visual bark
- 15:43killing one more bush bush touch your nose, right, don't touch your nose
- 15:48now. You know, not to get into weightlifting technique here, but do
- 15:54not be touching your nose. Gosh, oh good, all right. Well,
- 15:58couples laughing, they all laugh together. They find ways to laugh together.
- 16:02Couples who are madly in love totally. If you don't have that,
- 16:06what do you have? Here's my favorite's number one little secret. Couples who
- 16:10are madly in love to you. They start a morning tradition together, you
- 16:14know, broom a custocary. They say this one hurts. Talk about well,
- 16:18obviously for us we get up much earlier than are our spouses. So
- 16:22there's not a morning tradition to be had other than not trying not to wake
- 16:25them up. I was gonna say, if I were to call my husband
- 16:27right now, he'd say, you know what our morning tradition is, This
- 16:30is you in the bathroom. I know that's what he thinks. I sound
- 16:33like waking up in the morning. I'm like like a swatting a microphone.
- 16:37Yes, just attack, he thinks, I attack the light in the bathroom.
- 16:42I do my best to be quiet. I even turn the door handle
- 16:45so that way it doesn't click. I mean, I do everything in my
- 16:48power to be slow turn of the knob. Yes, I know. Yeah,
- 16:52but uh they say, though, you know, have a cup of
- 16:53coffee, talk about at least one important thing that's going to be happening during
- 16:57your day. See for me, I don't know, it seems un realistic
- 17:00because the mornings that we do have together, morning's like the worst time,
- 17:03you know what I mean. Like it's always very stressful, especially if you're
- 17:06like in a hurry or something. I feel like that's the most prime time
- 17:10for like little arguments, right, Yes, especially if they are with a
- 17:14morning a person who's not a morning. If you're a sleepyhead. Yeah,
- 17:18and again because we have our show and stuff or whatever, we don't have
- 17:22the morning routine. But evenings like that is like my favorite, when the
- 17:26sun is setting like that, to our moments to have like dinner, like
- 17:30when we're sitting down at the dinner table and talking, that's kind of my
- 17:33favorite. Okay, we're talking favorite times of the day. Well, I'd
- 17:37like to nominate noon. Anybody else turn away in the morning? I know,
- 17:45Amanda Stills. The Sea Wet's See brought to you by Whimmers Diamonds.
- 17:51What a good feedback on me now reading the sponsorship, Yeah, no,
- 17:52for sure. I mean the the sponsors are just reading about heads. Dakota
- 17:57Johnson said to be missus cold Play. After six years of dating Chris Martin.
- 18:02We're finding out this week they've actually been engaged for quite some time.
- 18:04They're just now kind of opening up to their friend circle about the fact that
- 18:07they've been engaged. I like that they've kept such a private life. They
- 18:11really have. I mean, you forget that they've been together for someone,
- 18:15they've been engaged longer than people thought. How long have people thought they were
- 18:18engaged? I forget they're together. But that's great. Was he married before
- 18:22Gwyneth Paltrow or was that like this kind of mean maybe? I don't know,
- 18:26but Gwyneth Peltrow obviously their divorce, it was it was blown up because
- 18:30of Gwyneth. I think that's when people start were exactly, but people just
- 18:33started to dislike Gwyneth Paltrow. And then she got remarried and she's married to
- 18:38a guy that she doesn't even live with. It's just a very bizarre situation.
- 18:41But either way, it's great, glad they're happy and they're taking the
- 18:45last name cold Play. You said, that's what I'm hearing, and by
- 18:49Ley Cyrus says, oh, no, I was fully aware that my sister,
- 18:53Noah Cyrus had a relationship with Dominic Purcell, who is now our step
- 18:57dad. When Mamma Tish entered the picture, everybody was well aware. Those
- 19:02close to Miiley say, in fact, she just took her mom's side and
- 19:06did everything in her power to keep Noah from crashing their wedding back into August,
- 19:10and said, that's why she had it in her backyard. What was
- 19:12she going to do to probably just say, hey, stepdad, you were
- 19:18just with me five minutes ago. I mean that's so gross. I can't
- 19:21even that's weird. What is hard to imagine? Yep, of course,
- 19:25all right, the Oscars are on Sunday, and we are finding out that
- 19:29they're going to be an hour earlier because of the time change. So I
- 19:30think they're at six o'clock our time. So as producers say, they've got
- 19:34a real good feeling about what they put together this year. Oh yeah,
- 19:38better than last year. Well, they have the same host, Jimmy Kimmel,
- 19:41and this will be a fourth time for him. He has a ten
- 19:44minute opening monologue that is supposed to be quote hilarious spoiler alert anyway, hilarious.
- 19:53They also said they have some entertainment and some other surprises, a few
- 19:56cameos from people that nobody knows about. One of the highlights, I think
- 20:00people Ryan Goslin is going to be singing I'm just ken during the show,
- 20:03and there's a live orchestra in the theater. It's just all I don't think
- 20:07so well, there should be well either way, meeting's gonna win Best Picture.
- 20:11I don't even know who is Barbie nominated. Oppenheimer, Okay, Barbenheimer.
- 20:15I don't know that I watched a single movie this year, so like
- 20:19it just in general? Maybe not. I don't know. I'd have to
- 20:22think back dust that Happy area's making a special early appearance. Dustin, have
- 20:26you seen any movies this year? I did. I saw Oppenheimer. Did
- 20:29you was it good? I saw Barbie? It was good. It was
- 20:32it was different than I thought it was going to be. Okay, because
- 20:34isn't it four hours long? No, but it's long, But I mean,
- 20:38but it was good. It was well done. It was there was
- 20:41just twist in there that what I thought it was going to be, like
- 20:44a historical blah blah blah. It was, but then it kind of tried
- 20:47to capture the essence of his of his personal life, which is kind of
- 20:49different. It's interesting. Okay, leave it to Dustin to sell us on
- 20:52watching Oppenheimer. So if you had a vote for the Oscars, would it
- 20:56be I didn't watch enough movies where I could say, you know, well,
- 20:59yeah, but how about the two you've seen, Barbie or Oppenheimer.
- 21:00Barbie was just it was it was just fun and different whatever else. I
- 21:03mean, I would probably say Oppenheimer just for that, But I mean,
- 21:07then you think about like you think about Ryan gosling, like you have to
- 21:11really act as butt off to do the ken things. So I'm he port
- 21:14and I don't think people are giving that enough credit. You know what I
- 21:15mean. You got nominated, right, he's your best actor. That's the
- 21:18whole supports. Yeah. Right. And as for the orchestra, I think
- 21:22I think they always have that. It's in the pit. The pit,
- 21:25that's how they play people out when they're going to write the speeches. So,
- 21:27speaking of which, Amanda in the morning on Big seven, this guy
- 21:36the flirting expert, Oh, so take notes for you're out their single prowling
- 21:41around trying to trying to make good impressions. Well, some people say you
- 21:44should be flirting with your significant other. Two I just feel like I'm a
- 21:47bad flirt, Like I just giggle. Well, take a note from this
- 21:48dude, because you're going on a flight right next week, so you could
- 21:52even try this one then. Because dude's name is Alan seventy years old Florida
- 21:56man of course, at an airport when he started to take interest in at
- 22:00nice. So he's talking to the lady at the airport window and it feels
- 22:03like the spot. I don't know if it's like a rom com situation.
- 22:06But it's like you got to layover. You're up at the bar, don't
- 22:07you always kind of feel like eyeballs are going you know? Oh? Sure,
- 22:11Well this dude really like this lady, and so of course she's there
- 22:15with her family. Now, he thought he had the perfect line. He
- 22:18thought, this is gonna be it. She's going to cancel her tickets and
- 22:21go with me to wherever I'm at it forever, all right. So he
- 22:25looks at her, and now a couple of people did overhear this, this
- 22:27line he had, and that's where the issue is, because he looked at
- 22:30her and said, quote, if the bomb in my bag goes off prematurely,
- 22:36I apologize to you and your family in advance. Sorry, did we
- 22:38take a plot twist here? This is a flirting situation. At what point
- 22:42where's the flirt in this? Well that's the thing. Police. Of course,
- 22:47after being told, hey, there's a guy talking about having a bomb
- 22:49in his bag, they looked into it. You know, they arrest the
- 22:52guy. Imagine now when they start questioning like, hey, like one,
- 22:56do you actually have a bomb? He said, no, my god,
- 22:57no, I would never do that. This was an attempt to flirt with
- 23:02a lady. And so that's what defense he's going with. I mean,
- 23:04hey, to be fair, great defense. Well, I mean it was
- 23:07truthful then sure. And we've all heard people, you know, the people
- 23:11that are real edgy, real dark senses of humor. They might say things
- 23:15in an airport like oh they don't find the bomb in Yeah. No,
- 23:18I think you just stay away from all bomb talk, just even in general.
- 23:22Yeah, I just don't even say it, Like, don't even say
- 23:23if it was nineteen ninety eight. Don't even be like, oh, she's
- 23:26the bomb. Oh say No that I can't get on board with. I
- 23:30think that's good. She's The thing is, is you did it wrong?
- 23:33She's thebomb dot com that's the cringiest phrase. Oh my god, trending.
- 23:40Now here's what you need to know. Well, get ready. You're gonna
- 23:42lose an hour of sleep this weekend. Do not forget to spring forward.
- 23:47I don't know. For some reason, it feels so off to me,
- 23:48maybe because we've had a pretty decent winter, but I'm like, it's already
- 23:52this week. It's the nice thing is it's on a weekend, So if
- 23:55you don't have anything to get up for, you're not going to lose anything.
- 23:56Coming from a guy who doesn't have children. We've been a kind of
- 24:00having them go to bed early following that guide. I was telling you about
- 24:03the other day. Last night in bed by seven am. But then I
- 24:07got a text for my husband a sorry seven pm. Yeah that's a little
- 24:10aggressive. But they were up at five am. I'm oh, boys,
- 24:12why I a trip to Japan? Does that mean they're gonna be up at
- 24:18four am on Monday or Sunday, Monday whatever? I mean? The nice
- 24:25thing is waking up sucks no matter what. So really I jump right out
- 24:29of bed so I can spend some time with you, some good quality time.
- 24:32The nice thing. Honestly, the weather is going to be great or
- 24:34a little bit closer this summer. I like when it is lighter later.
- 24:37Yeah, give me the give me a little extra daylight, for sure.
- 24:40This is fine. It is International Women's Day. And I gotta tell you
- 24:45last year, Taylor Swift, the effect she had just across the globe insane
- 24:51from the airas tour to the NFL. But right now, you know we
- 24:53talked about the Taylor Swift effect. How about the Caitlin Clark effects? The
- 24:56twenty twenty four w NBA Draft. They ended up selling out their tickets and
- 25:02a record breaking time fifteen minutes. Wow do you I mean? And be
- 25:06honest, Yeah, do you think I could win a one on one match
- 25:08with Caitlin Clark? No? Of course, not not even not even remote.
- 25:12But without knowing how good I am at basketball because you've probably not seen
- 25:17you're not even a baller. Well, I could light it up from three
- 25:19point land and so say you could if I just get the ball and we
- 25:23do the little what do you call it when he hand them the ball and
- 25:26they hand it back. When are you playing one on one? You ever
- 25:27playing one on one? Bass? Yeah? Like not check? I think
- 25:30it's is a check. He's like, yeah, I see check. And
- 25:33then I would just heave it up and let's say I make half of them.
- 25:37She would destroy you. Is she taller than five to six six piece
- 25:41from Happy here's bottle shops rolling in. Yeah, she's gonna take you down.
- 25:45Okay, she's got a few inches on me, so she does.
- 25:47I mean, I would be willing to even because I know the the boys
- 25:49and ladies are down at the Summit League tournament. They're doing great. Yeah,
- 25:52they're supposed to make the big dance, right, uh huh. So
- 25:55maybe when they're done with you know, the dance and they're doing all that,
- 25:57getting one of them to come and take a little one on one with
- 26:00you. How do you think you could do that? I want to go
- 26:03right to the top. I want Caitlin Clark come on now. I would
- 26:07be amazing. All right, Oprah Winfrey, she is set to sit down
- 26:11on Monday night. She wants to do a little ABC primetime special. It's
- 26:15called an Oprah Special Shame, Blame and the Weight Loss Revolution. Really,
- 26:19she wants to talk about the fact there's been a lot of people now that
- 26:22she stepped down from Weight Watchers going hey, you're taking the easy way out.
- 26:26You're on o zempic now you're doing all these things, and she said
- 26:30she wants to get rid of the shame and the stigma surrounding wait and talk
- 26:33about how it can be used as a maintenance tool. Yeah great, if
- 26:36it's available to you, I mean whatever, it's as long as it's not
- 26:38it is illegal, and does it affect anybody else negatively? And it's not
- 26:41harming anybody? You do you, Oprah? Weather Today is gonna be sunny
- 26:47high at thirty three, like, get Amanda in the morning, Come on,
- 26:49get up on big eighty seven, Amanda. I want you to put
- 26:53yourself in the shoes of this mother, being a mother yourself. How many
- 26:56kids do you have? Now? I got two? Nice and that's it.
- 27:00Well, this Texas mother was arrested after a drink she allegedly made and
- 27:06sent to her son's bully. Now she whipped up some sort of concoction to
- 27:11give to this bully of her son. Now this bully had been being,
- 27:15of course mean to her child, even stole his energy drink. Which come,
- 27:18I mean, you know it used to be give me all your lunch
- 27:21money. Now it's give me your energy drip. She couldn't be having an
- 27:23energy drink at that age anyway, But continue, what is a proper aids
- 27:26for an energy drink? I guess they do have like coffee shops now in
- 27:30middle schools, which is just mind blow. Oh my god. In the
- 27:33two thousands, drinking like rock stars and Monster Energy, it was a lifestyle
- 27:37a I mean, I guess we did grow up on like Surge and Mountain
- 27:40Dew. So who am I to scoff at a five hour energy drink.
- 27:42So this this mother is beside herself. So she makes this drink for the
- 27:45bully that includes gatorade, lemon juice, vinegar, and salt. That's great,
- 27:53okay, hilarious. Well the kid went to the hospital. Why allergic
- 27:59to vinegar? What send him to the hospital. Yeah, well apparently,
- 28:03and now the contents of this drink again, gatorade, lemon juice, vinegar,
- 28:07and salt. They're non toxic, but it did result somehow and the
- 28:11child ending up in the hospital. Now I know if you just had a
- 28:15little tummy ache because I don't know. How much vinegar can you drink?
- 28:18Apparently applesider vinegar is like the magic drink. Yeah, some people say you're
- 28:22supposed to take a shot of it every single morning, and that's supposed to
- 28:25help with whatever. The unfortunate part is that it's impossible to drink because it's
- 28:30the single grossest thing in the world. You can you can choke it down,
- 28:33you joke anything down, like literally choke down. Can you drink apple
- 28:37cider vinegar? Yeah, you're just the perfect lady on No one not.
- 28:41I'm just saying it's not over the top. But I'm wondering if from a
- 28:45funnel every morning. Was this kid being a bit dramatic you think? Or
- 28:48yeah, I mean maybe he knew what was going on. He was baiting
- 28:51her. He's like, yeah, I'll take that gatorade mix. So did
- 28:53you start out by saying this mom ended up in jail? Well, yeah,
- 28:56she's been arrested anyway, now the charge are pending. Oh man,
- 29:02I mean that's so petty. Of course you're not going to make some concoction
- 29:04to send a school. Don't you just go I don't want to be this
- 29:07mom like you don't have to get the school involved, but you either call
- 29:10the parents or talk to the principal. You don't go tit for tat here.
- 29:14If your kid comes home, If Sydney's older and she comes home and
- 29:15she talks about something at school that happened, you're not gonna be the mom
- 29:19that's calling the school. It totally is going to depend on the situation.
- 29:22I'm going to try to work through it with my daughter. If it's an
- 29:23ongoing problem or my son, then I think you have that communication and it
- 29:27depends on how aggressive it is, or you can just come on the radio
- 29:30the next morning and talk bad about the kid that would work to take in
- 29:33a minute in the morning. Ninety seven. You're a mom, right,
- 29:37you know what I am? Bike? Nice? Nice? Okay, Well,
- 29:40then you'll know if you're doing these tiny little things that parents apparently do,
- 29:45and they result in happy kids. Kiddoes to be happy, absolutely,
- 29:48Like that's what you pride yourself in every single day, right, seeing a
- 29:52sad kid that's got to be heartbreaking. Totally. Well, these are okay,
- 29:55we'll start with number five. A man, you tell me if you're
- 29:56doing it. They make times for themselves as and the parent makes time for
- 30:00yourself. We probably could be better about that. I mean, we get
- 30:03our The time for myself is between work and picking them up, and usually
- 30:08that's not a whole lot of time. But as far as I'm assuming,
- 30:11they mean you and your spouse, well just you as a parent or yeah,
- 30:15with your spouse, because you know, a lot of times parents put
- 30:17themselves last, which is easy to do, but your kids need you to
- 30:19be at your best and that probably includes you having some alone time. Yeah
- 30:23for sure. So no, I mean, my husband's probably like, oh,
- 30:29yeah, you dig all the time in the world, so he might
- 30:30die, he might disagree, But I feel like as parents, we probably
- 30:34need to be a little bit better. Okay, well maybe you'll do a
- 30:37number four here on the little things parents do to make their kids happy.
- 30:40They read to their child. Yeah, yeah, they like to read to
- 30:45us, which is just it's so much fun. Can either of them read?
- 30:48So Sydney is getting better at it, like she can kind of spot
- 30:51where, like she knows like mom, dad, like that kind of thing.
- 30:55Cat she can, Sydney, Yeah, so she has that ability.
- 30:57But Briggsylll just like, oh, in a book and just start reading.
- 31:02It's my favorite. Well, I'm sure his story is probably better than what's
- 31:03on the page exactly. I mean, there's just something's like and this frog
- 31:07is jumping over. It's just like, this is great. I remember at
- 31:11this vivid memory, and I must have been like five, but I was
- 31:14over at a friend's house as a real young kid, and he was like,
- 31:17you know one of these kids that could read at a really young age.
- 31:19Yeah, And so his mom, I swear, setting me up for
- 31:22failure, was like, hey, let's read a book together, everybody,
- 31:25Why don't you start And she has the kid rip off a page or whatever.
- 31:27Then it hands me the book. It's like here you go, dumb,
- 31:30dumb, and I remember just like being so scared embarrassed. Yeah,
- 31:34and so I was like faking it, which I would love to see a
- 31:37video of how well I just pretended to read this book. And you also
- 31:41have to remember, especially if your kids like a certain book, they just
- 31:45start memorizing it, like brown Bear, brown Bear, what do you see?
- 31:48I see a purple horse looking at me. And then they just know
- 31:52because they see the purple horse and they're going, oh, I know,
- 31:55yeah, of course they yeah, they're probably what they were afraid of that
- 31:57they didn't hand me a Souss book because I had a memorize one of those
- 32:00two fish blackfish, bluefish. One of our favorites is poup pelt fish pop
- 32:06peutfish with the pelt face. I don't know that dreary reares all over the
- 32:09place like anyway. Continue Number three little things parents do to make their kids
- 32:14happy. They set limits for their child. So that'd be like, you
- 32:16know, instead of saying yes to everything. Obviously, our kids don't want
- 32:19to maybe go to bed on time, they don't want to do chores,
- 32:22but if set the limits, you make them do it. Anyway, Yeah,
- 32:25we actually just started doing like a timer for certain things and that's been
- 32:29working. For instance, bath time, they could sit in the bath and
- 32:32play for hours, so it's like, oh, here's the limit, three
- 32:37minutes. This is it? Nice work? Yeah, what's wrong with them
- 32:40being in the bath? Thumb don't just and then the water's everywhere, and
- 32:45well, the water bill is really what my husband can't handle. I mean,
- 32:47once you've drawn the back, well know, because then they turn it
- 32:50on, they take it out, and then they start the shower, and
- 32:52they said, yeah, it's that's the problem. It's a real splash.
- 32:55Splash taken a bath time? What a they parents allow their child to do
- 33:00things for themselves, little sense of independence. Oh totally. You don't let
- 33:05them make the mistake and then then it can learn from it. Yeah you
- 33:07like that, you do that? We do our best. Yeah, yeah,
- 33:12right I do. And number one, finally, of course, they
- 33:15play with their child. I'm trying to think of a scenario where a parent
- 33:19doesn't play with their child. Honestly, as that as that is, there's
- 33:22probably people that maybe just don't have time if your schedule's crazy, But yes,
- 33:24we definitely take all the time we can to play with them. What's
- 33:28your favorite thing to play. I'm see I'm a big fan of magna tiles,
- 33:31but I end up my kids will be over it and I'm sitting on
- 33:35the floor still playing magna tiles by myself. What do you like to build?
- 33:37What are magnetiles? For some magnetiles are either the different colors of squares
- 33:42or triangles, and then they connect because they're magnets, and then you you
- 33:45can create anything you want, like an empire or a castle or whatever.
- 33:52Sometimes I'll do a plane if I get real crazy. Remember just the imagination
- 33:55kids have. I'm so jealous, Remember just sitting down with a box of
- 33:58toys and just getting lost in the different world that you've created. We're just
- 34:02now look at us. It was an only child, so I would be
- 34:07just like feeding my barbies, talking to that, like just in my room
- 34:10for hours. Yeah, who knows what now? Now I think about his
- 34:14news and okay, guys and Amanda in the morning on SIG seven, Look
- 34:22who's in the house. It's a twenty one of course, our special guest
- 34:24on Friday for several years running. And for Separate Us More. It's Dustin
- 34:29from Happy Aris. Hi. Hi, going Dustino, Are you know what
- 34:32we're doing good. I think everybody's just kind of got some good Like it's
- 34:35spring. It feels like just good energy everywhere, and it's going to be
- 34:39like sixty on Monday, I know pretty soon, because we've of course announced
- 34:44the lineup. Now we'll be in the parking lot of the Fargo Down and
- 34:46Happy Areas Rich Fast. Yeah, best parking lot party in the country.
- 34:50Oh man, I just can't wait. Heck of a lineup this year.
- 34:52Very excited for Eve six, Yeah six. Yeah, I'm the black Hawk
- 34:55girl. Like when I found out that they were coming, and my husband
- 35:00and I we follow Blackhawk like they're my favorite. Yeah, Pike, what
- 35:04I like Blackhawk too? No, I did the commercial. It was some
- 35:07good music. You did an excellent job. Oh thanks. Actually that might
- 35:10have been the earliest I've ever heard the Happiers of Fast lineup commercial. Yes,
- 35:17for sure, I was. I want to say April or something like
- 35:20that. But yeah, well, does the bands have whatever else? Yeah?
- 35:22You never know. I mean it's not like you have thirty million dollars
- 35:24of budget to bring in you know whoever, Right, it's a five dollars
- 35:29gated It's fun, It's it's about the r and the smoke and all that
- 35:34goodness and smell. Kickoff to someone, baby, and we're kind of kicking
- 35:38off. We're going to springing forward this weekend, and I'm feeling the spring
- 35:42vibes and you're kind of bringing it today too. What do we got?
- 35:44I you know what, I'm feeling it too? Are you a little nugget?
- 35:49I am ninety nine point five percent done with the penny sale list,
- 35:54So oh, I was also a spring thing for me, for God that's
- 35:58coming, that's coming up, we do, yeah, and there's some this
- 36:00year before getting to these new things. This year, there is some fun,
- 36:05fun, fun stuff we got rolling in. So you're switching it up
- 36:08a little on us. Well, you know, the last couple of years
- 36:10have been challenging because the fires in twenty twenty put a lot of pressure.
- 36:14At the end of the drought in California, like, the yields were tough.
- 36:17You had droughting. In New Zealand you had droughting and and early frost,
- 36:22and in France, I mean the yield has been kind of weird that
- 36:25the access to really great fun buys were tough this year. You know,
- 36:31there's a lot of stuff out there and I was able to find some really
- 36:36cool new additions. We're We're back. We're so bad anyhow, So back
- 36:42to now some fun new things. So Truly has a new called an Unruly
- 36:47pack. This is the malt side, not the vodka side. This is
- 36:51where I got so confused. I'm like, okay, you have this under
- 36:53the beer section of your list. But so if we go to our acronym
- 36:58discussion for a while back, this would be there. The FMB flavored malt
- 37:00beverage. Okay, gotcha, rt D ready to drink cane cocktail spirit based
- 37:07I'm popping into Happy Harry's. Am I gonna find these over by the trulyis
- 37:10though, where you guys have to find these by the beer floor and the
- 37:14beer cooler. You're not gonna find them in the can cocktail where those trulies
- 37:16are. Holy smokes. I'm glad I asked that would have been searching.
- 37:20I will admit this. It's the dumbest thing. Like I am like,
- 37:22why did you guys decide to do both? But them and white class said,
- 37:25hey, we want to own everything, so let's do it. Anyhow,
- 37:29I digress. So this is their eight percent. Yeah, so these
- 37:32have a lot more kick than the regular truthis do So this is their Unruly
- 37:37pack. So they have a tropical twist, a berry blast, a citrus
- 37:39crush, and a strawberry smash in this variety pack onruly alright, eyah percent
- 37:44if you're not paying attention to because I'm guy, some these are gonna go
- 37:46down pretty smooth. They're gonna go down smooth and they're and they're gonna have
- 37:50a little bite to them. So slow your roll, sure if you can
- 37:53process, you know, three truies normal trulyis these are gonna kick you harder
- 38:00fast mix of watering for sure. That's always a good a good go to
- 38:04one drink one water Yeah, nice bolly spend the night in the bathroom pretty
- 38:08much. Next Junkyard Brewing, they released a new Zealand cheat codes. Uh.
- 38:15This is their new England style I Pa So if you like that Big
- 38:19Papa hops whatever else pike Land. Obviously, Junkyard always kills it with their
- 38:23stuff and this one I'm super fun about or excited about. This is kind
- 38:28of old school. This is kind of when I first started with Happy here
- 38:30hees like a lot of the European beers were, you know it was Newcastle
- 38:34Getness and Samuel Smith and Newcastle. I haven't had a Newcastle in a long
- 38:39time. That with beer, cheese soup. Oh yeah, and it's different
- 38:42now, like it's it's a whole the taste it. They changed it all
- 38:45up, so our old school Newcastle is not Newcastle to also good to know.
- 38:50Yeah, so that's to me, it's kind of it's dead to me,
- 38:52Like Newcastle was always in my fridge. It was yeah, like we'd
- 38:55go to parents k and grand Forest and get a picture of Newcastle after work.
- 38:59And yeah, kind of another one. My girlfriend and I have lately
- 39:01been into. We like blue Moon, but everyone saw a stella. That's
- 39:05another one that you just get, like god solla for sure a unique flavor.
- 39:07It definitely good to switch it up. Yeah, well this one is
- 39:10called bit Burger and this is a premium pills. So pilsners are really easy
- 39:15drinking. They're smooth, especially if you're tired of ip as and hoppy things.
- 39:20This is the opposite. This is just European goodness, not a lot
- 39:22of big Bowld flavors. And they went from a bottle to a sixteen ounce
- 39:27can, which is awesome. Nice anytime you're in a can, the flavor
- 39:30profile is so much closer to what you get on tap. Is that right?
- 39:35Interesting With bottles, you know, especially green bottles, you can if
- 39:37the light hits it wrong, it can skunk the beer. Yeah, something
- 39:40like you can do with different things. Where in a can, Like when
- 39:43Heineken first came out with the cans, people are like, oh, geez,
- 39:45well if that tastes different. One though it tastes like it would out
- 39:49of the keg. It tastes how it should taste. Interesting the green bottles
- 39:52they get that. I almost want to say marijuana smell, you know.
- 39:57Yeah, So a bit Burger in a can if you're bored with what you've
- 40:01been drinking, you want something different, but you don't want to jump in
- 40:04the deep end of the pool. Bitburger is fantastic. Nice. I've been
- 40:08seeing these all over Facebook. I'm so excited. People have been freaking out
- 40:13about this one flavor in particular, this is the carbless Peach. Now,
- 40:17when I hear a lot of requests in person, I know that something is
- 40:22blowing up, and this one, I do, you know what, I'm
- 40:23going to give it a try because I've been wanting to try everybody said,
- 40:27it's so delicious, and I love peach, but this is one that you
- 40:29never know what the profile is going to be. It's kind of it's probably
- 40:32sixty one degrees, so it's more cool. All right, let's give her
- 40:36up, give her a sip. No carbs. Okay, that's good.
- 40:40Okay, Okay, that is good. It's room tempt too, so it's
- 40:45not you got to try that pike. You can share a little germeys here.
- 40:47It kind of like workspouses. Okay. I will say everyone's getting sick
- 40:52lately. I don't know how many people you know are sick, but it's
- 40:53going around. So yeah, that's why I tried it first. Pikes out
- 40:58my throats clam rearly. When when you working in retail beverage alcohol that you're
- 41:01immune, isn't that refreshing? That's so good peach. That might be one
- 41:08of my favorites. I always liked to the cranberry one, but that started
- 41:12getting a little sweet. This one, no sugars. I know, carbulus
- 41:15is great. Okay, what other one is? And then they have their
- 41:17tequila cocktail. This is their strawberry margarita. Okay. Yeah, so sometimes
- 41:22people don't always love the tequila can cocktails. But Carbus has done a nice
- 41:27don't they have one? I think they have a mixed pack, and I
- 41:30think they have like a normal whatever. Lie I guess would be probably.
- 41:34I always think I see stuff that I don't see. But anyhow, this
- 41:37is the Carbo strawberry margarita, tequila cocktail and four pack delicious onto some spirits.
- 41:44So I brought the Bismark Distilling or distillery canned cocktails a few weeks ago.
- 41:49Really good. Uh, they were a little sweet for me, like
- 41:51I can do one. And they were in a four pack, which is
- 41:53good. You're like, okay, that's that's enough, just one. Yep.
- 41:57They had Huckuberry lemonade. They had the raspberry lemon they had a apple
- 42:00pie. I think they had a cranberry Yeah. I think they had a
- 42:05cranberry lemonade. Now we have their vodka and we have their huckleberry vodka.
- 42:10Yeah, and this you can take the cap off that and we could smell
- 42:14it in the rock. I mean, get your lemonade out, get your
- 42:16club soda, whatever you if you want it sweeter or if you want it
- 42:20a little cleaner, you pick whatever kind of sparkling beverage you want, and
- 42:24this stuff is I mean, they did a really nice job. This is
- 42:27stills for seventeen, but probably till you did a little homework. The Mom
- 42:30Water, the new package, delicious, all the flavors from last week.
- 42:34My husband opened one thinking it was going to be a selter. He's not.
- 42:37They don't call it dad water for a reason. He goes, why
- 42:38does it taste like water? And now it's go because it's Mom Water.
- 42:43Spark what is I was gone wist by what is it? So it's a
- 42:45it's a RTD, but it it doesn't have any physic and so it tastes
- 42:52just like a not even a sparkling water, which is good because sometimes you
- 42:57know, the well, the sparkling stuff, it gets your tummy after a
- 43:00while, you know, a little heartburns. Yeah, absolutely, so you're
- 43:02not getting that with the Mom Water. Perfect well, good feedback, Hey,
- 43:06no problem, that's the least I can do. Can you hire a
- 43:08full time on, like a panel or a tasting committee of some kind?
- 43:12I think I am I'm I could have used you actually earlier this week because
- 43:15we tasted through probably seventy wines in one day. Really, I mean,
- 43:20how much you sip in you're spitting is it is literally the most unromantic thing
- 43:25you can like every oh my, that would be my ideal. No,
- 43:29no, no, if you took it, if you swallowed all of them,
- 43:31you would be done. That would be your shift is over. Like,
- 43:34yeah, you know you sip, you spit. Yeah, I mean
- 43:37you get down your teeth a purple fingers have purple because it doesn't sound as
- 43:43glamorous as I think we think it is. I flew, this is a
- 43:45real job, flew to Chicago for a taste. We had We had to
- 43:47have an emergency taste. We had a bunch of things that a bunch of
- 43:50retailers around the country are trying to whatever. I just love your life.
- 43:52You get an email emergency tasting. You got to get to Chicago. We
- 43:57all flew to Chicago. They had a room set up at the the airport
- 44:00Hilton and I mean, this is thirteen years ago or whatever. So we
- 44:04get out the plane, we get situated, we taste what seemed like hundreds
- 44:09of wines and I look over at one of the guys and our teeth are
- 44:14purple, and I'm like, this is literally the most non romantic thing ever
- 44:19so when people say no anyhow, but yeah, too much of anything gets
- 44:24to be a great I mean like it's kind of like if you're in an
- 44:28account and you're reading the new tax law. Right, so me not reading
- 44:32tax laws, me sipping on a variety of Napa Valley and Dry Creek Valley
- 44:37cabernets and blends. Well, we appreciate you because you do good work for
- 44:42us. It's a lot of hard work, and I do it for everybody.
- 44:45Somebody's got to do it. As soon as you sent us little over
- 44:46Pike can I lost at each other man. This is interesting, this next
- 44:50one. So this is the new rumhot of pineapple cream. This actually was
- 44:54was kind of fun. I'm going to have to give it a swirl.
- 44:59So so the pineapple, the pineapple is present, but when you taste it
- 45:04with the rum chotten ness, it actually it's kind of fun to sit here.
- 45:10I almost picked up like a little pineapple upside down cake yum. Yes,
- 45:15and it what's pineapplely though? But it's not too heavy? No,
- 45:19but it has a good rum chot. I mean, have they done anything
- 45:22wrong? They've been pretty good. I know. I'm trying to think of
- 45:23how I don't even I mean obviously a sipper, but trying to think of
- 45:28fun, would you put this with like eighteen hundred coconut tequila? Maybe I
- 45:34don't know. I think I might maybe more go to a like a pineapple
- 45:37rum or our true Caribbean Island rum ooh, you know kind of a rum
- 45:44chotta Colada blender drink something like that. Do you remember that when you brought
- 45:49in that really good rum that you would always mix over those uh like sparkling
- 45:52ices. People were drinking those. I'm trying to remember what those were,
- 45:55but they were like felt like they were low calorie drinks. I went through
- 45:58a whole summer with them. I cannot think of the rum doesn't matter,
- 46:00but I love the idea with I probably used Cruis on rum. I mean
- 46:04that was that was one of my favorite rooms to mix with things. But
- 46:07I'm not positive it's all good. You've got a few things on your plate,
- 46:10but this is this is fun and heck can't pine pineapple cream underrated flavor?
- 46:15You know what I mean? It's just perfect. It's like peaches and
- 46:17cream but better. Yeah, perfect, all right? Uh next, uh
- 46:23a few wines here, Decoy released a featherweight Savvian blanc. This is at
- 46:29eighty calories, so it's a low calorie kind of that's it seems like savvium
- 46:31blancs are the variety that people that winers are doing this with. It seems
- 46:36like the light wines we've we've gotten in have been primarily savvium blanc. All
- 46:40right, So if you're looking for something fun and fresh, remember lower calories,
- 46:45lower alcohol, which is good. Yeah. Next we have a Caprico
- 46:50peach agria. Now, these these came out a few years ago and and
- 46:53they have a little higher alcohol than most sangrias due I love the way I
- 46:57mean this looks like a little bottle of beer does with one heck of a
- 47:01punch. It's thirteen point nine percent. So you're gonna want to you're gonna
- 47:07want to put this Maybe get some frozen fruit in a glass and get orange
- 47:12wedge or something and and sip on this because this is this is as strong
- 47:15as a like a cabernet or a chardonnay. So wow, and that's peach
- 47:20sangria. Yep. So Brandes comes in bottle, individual bottles and four packs.
- 47:23Would you drink it out of the bottle or would you pour it in,
- 47:25I would not. I I struggle with these sometimes because there's the proof
- 47:30is I mean, you'll think thirty nine is in that thirty nine is that's
- 47:36I mean it's like almost two and a half, almost three times what a
- 47:39like a cores light would be right, But it drinks very clean like a
- 47:45juice, and so it would it'll crush your soul. So you have to
- 47:50be so careful. So that's why I'm like, you know what, if
- 47:52you buy these, literally, respect the all call because it won't respect you
- 47:57if you drink it too fast. So be careful of these. But they're
- 48:00they're fun, you know, they're fun and moderation for sure. And it's
- 48:01a cute little bottle too. I like the color all of it. Yeah.
- 48:04Fun. The final thing is now I brought this one. I don't
- 48:07always bring the new box wines. And it's that because I'm you know,
- 48:15I think boxes are fantastic time and place. If you like to have a
- 48:19glass at night, you know you have six to eight weeks, you know,
- 48:22you get four bottles worth of wine, so every glass is the same.
- 48:25I usually struggle with red box wine for some reason. I don't know
- 48:29if that, but when I have I cannot remember. Bota Box had that
- 48:32one special limited edition last week and that Oh my gosh, that was so
- 48:39good just on the pondtoon, haven't it? You just throw it? Oh
- 48:42so good? I mean, your your bottle costs, when you think about
- 48:44it, is like four to twenty five of a bottle or something. So
- 48:45it's ridiculous. I had a sweet Ol couple in the store a couple of
- 48:50days ago. This this just came in, and they were looking for something
- 48:52that was different, not quite as sweet as some of the sweet rats.
- 48:58So I didn't there was nothing in the big boxes. So we got the
- 49:01black box Stull Chase Semi Sweet Red, and so I was taking him through
- 49:06trying to explain the big bottles. You know, if you're just sipping a
- 49:09glass at night, they're gonna, you know, they break down. You
- 49:12get me vinegar, you go to a box. So that was talking through
- 49:15some stuff and we get to this one and she's like, what does the
- 49:16taste like. I'm like, you know what, I haven't tried it yet.
- 49:19It just came in. So I opened a box and we tried it
- 49:21right there on the sales fane and I was like, you know what,
- 49:23it is kind of fun. It was it was kind of great. It
- 49:27wasn't sweet sweet. It was like this fun fresh grape juice yet wine profile.
- 49:34But if you're not into big reds and you kind of a good starting
- 49:37p yeah, like let's see drink moscatos or reasons you want to try a
- 49:39red. The black Box semi sweet red Blend you can put it in the
- 49:44fridge is actually a really fun little red So we just got it in.
- 49:47You know, they're they're sixteen ninety seven, which is honestly such a great
- 49:52price is and you get you gets fresh. Yeah, I mean there's four
- 49:57seven fifties or you know, you have twenty four glasses the wine in here.
- 50:00That's all I got for you guys. And that's a heck of a
- 50:02lineup. And we're gonna post it all on the Big ninety point seven Facebook
- 50:06page and it will be in our podcast. A lot of people like to
- 50:07listen back to you know, hear what they heard or whatever. So thank
- 50:09you, Dustin. I won't see you next week, but i'll see we
- 50:13after you have a little vacation. Yeah, same to you. Oh yeah,
- 50:15I'll be here handle it, okay. See
