  SPEAKER_00: Good morning, Black Rose.

• 5:15
SPEAKER_00: You know what we do.
• 5:16
SPEAKER_00: But this is the person who recommended the gingerbread latte.
• 5:21
SPEAKER_00: Are you in the chat?
• 5:23
SPEAKER_00: Yesterday I told y'all to give me a suggestion.
• 5:25
SPEAKER_00: Today's coffee of the day is a gingerbread latte, of course, from Starbucks.
• 5:32
  SPEAKER_00: Uh gingerbread latte.
• 5:37
SPEAKER_00: I don't know the particulars or what's in it.
• 5:39
SPEAKER_00: Let's see what's in this gingerbread latte.
• 5:42
  SPEAKER_00: So I got a gingerbread latte.
• 5:44
SPEAKER_00: I'm about to try it for the first time.
• 5:47
SPEAKER_00: Um, and I'm gonna let y'all rate it one through ten, all that good stuff.
• 5:54
  SPEAKER_00: And uh let's see.
• 5:56
  SPEAKER_00: Let's see what's in it first.
• 5:59
  SPEAKER_00: Uh what's it?
• 6:00
SPEAKER_00: Let me check my order.
• 6:03
  SPEAKER_00: Order details.
• 6:05
SPEAKER_00: All right, so I got a gingerbread latte, blonde, uh gingerbread syrup, blonde espresso shots, whipped cream, pumpkin spice, topping with foam, steamed hot, which means it's gonna burn the hell out of my uh my mouth, and 2% milk.
• 6:25
SPEAKER_00: Let's see what we got here.
• 6:28
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, you here?
• 6:29
SPEAKER_00: So, Miss Sweet Tooth, you was the one.
• 6:32
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, I was listening.
• 6:34
SPEAKER_00: You know, oh Angie, yeah, you knew I would like to fry.
• 6:37
  SPEAKER_00: I sure did.
• 6:38
SPEAKER_00: So, all right, Miss Sweet Tooth.
• 6:40
  SPEAKER_00: Drum roll, please.
• 6:43
  SPEAKER_00: Little ghetto drum roll.
• 6:47
SPEAKER_00: Ladies and gentlemen, gingerbread, latte, hot as hell.
• 6:54
  SPEAKER_00: No pun intended.
• 6:55
  SPEAKER_00: Let's see.
• 7:12
  SPEAKER_00: It's good.
• 7:17
  SPEAKER_00: I like it.
• 7:19
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna tell you what I like about it.
• 7:21
SPEAKER_00: It's actually what it threw me off at first.
• 7:23
SPEAKER_00: That's why I had to take a few more sips.
• 7:26
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna tell you what the gingerbread latte or let me tell you what my take is.
• 7:31
SPEAKER_00: It gives you enough flavor, but it still holds on to that coffee, it still got that coffee ass taste, which is what I like.
• 7:43
SPEAKER_00: Because I do I don't want it to be so sweet that it don't even taste like coffee no more.
• 7:48
SPEAKER_00: So gingerbread latte, it's smooth, but you still gonna have that coffee.
• 7:58
  SPEAKER_00: I think that's what it is.
• 8:01
  SPEAKER_00: Miss Sweet too.
• 8:03
SPEAKER_00: To take this from a right now, it's at like a 7.9, I think the uh the cinnamon would take it to an 8.9, maybe a nine.
• 8:22
SPEAKER_00: So I'm thinking, let's give it a 7.9 for the gingerbread latte.
• 8:28
SPEAKER_00: But if I was to replace the pumpkin spice with cinnamon, I think that'll take it to like a 9 or 8.9.
• 8:37
SPEAKER_00: So I'm enjoying my latte gingerbread uh coffee.
• 8:43
SPEAKER_00: It's hot in the motherfucker.
• 8:47
SPEAKER_00: But um, I like it.
• 8:51
SPEAKER_00: I should uh next time, next time I get it, I'm gonna put the I'm gonna put the cinnamon, I'm gonna get the cinnamon in there.
• 9:00
  unknown: Mr.
• 9:00
SPEAKER_00: Sme2 said, trust me, it will.
• 9:02
SPEAKER_00: All right, so thank you for the suggestion.
• 9:05
  SPEAKER_00: I will, it'll be gone.
• 9:07
SPEAKER_00: It's good enough to be gone before this show over with for sure.
• 9:12
  SPEAKER_00: It's actually good.
• 9:14
SPEAKER_00: I really think that cinnamon will take it to another level, though.
• 9:19
SPEAKER_00: All right, so let's go.
• 9:21
  SPEAKER_00: Communication, communication, communication.
• 9:24
  SPEAKER_00: Y'all, let's get into uh what's going on.
• 9:26
SPEAKER_00: But one thing about it communication is the key.
• 9:30
SPEAKER_00: When you find somebody you can communicate with, keep that person around.
• 9:36
SPEAKER_00: Keep that person around, just a fool for thought because you can't do it with everybody.
• 9:43
SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you that now.
• 9:44
SPEAKER_00: So, what the hell is going on with Kim Kardashian and Chris and Ray J, besides he ain't telling us what happened to uh to Whitney Houston?
• 9:58
  SPEAKER_00: Anyone been following this?
• 10:00
SPEAKER_00: And and it really wasn't much, no pressing issues.
• 10:04
SPEAKER_00: So that's why I came with the Ray J, Kim Kardashian.
• 10:08
SPEAKER_00: But let me know if anybody in this chat has been following this.
• 10:10
SPEAKER_00: I've just been seeing them bickering, bickering, bickering for the last like couple months.
• 10:16
SPEAKER_00: And um, I'm like, you know what, let's talk about this shit a little bit.
• 10:26
SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Angie, for hustling hard last night at work just to be able to make it to the live.
• 10:35
SPEAKER_00: Oh, Angie, I'm gonna have to message you.
• 10:37
SPEAKER_00: Uh, you ready to get that car?
• 10:38
SPEAKER_00: I I put it, I lined up everything for you.
• 10:42
SPEAKER_00: So uh Angie, can you uh if you still need a car, can you DM me?
• 10:52
SPEAKER_00: Angie, if you need a car, DM me.
• 10:55
SPEAKER_00: And if you do put a yes in the chat so I so I know you still need it.
• 11:00
SPEAKER_00: All right, so Angie, we're gonna um make sure you send me a DM because I want to work on it, because actually, I'm gonna tell you a secret.
• 11:08
SPEAKER_00: Cash is the one who is um often uh putting these deals together, and he's in town.
• 11:14
SPEAKER_00: So while he's in town, I want to work on something for you, Angie.
• 11:18
SPEAKER_00: So send me a DM on Instagram and we'll get to it.
• 11:22
SPEAKER_00: So let's get into this.
• 11:23
SPEAKER_00: Let's get into what the hell is going on, y'all.
• 11:30
SPEAKER_00: So let's talk about the snap benefits first.
• 11:33
SPEAKER_00: Let's get into the snap benefits first.
• 11:36
SPEAKER_00: When will snap benefits resume?
• 11:38
SPEAKER_00: Well, we know grandma Kathy and Cherie got theirs.
• 11:42
SPEAKER_00: This is from the USA today.
• 11:43
SPEAKER_00: Let's break down what the hell is really going on.
• 11:51
SPEAKER_00: Uh, when will snap benefits?
• 11:52
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 11:54
SPEAKER_00: The longest federal government shutdown in history came to an end late on November 12th after President Donald Trump signed a bill to fund the government through January 30th, offering a glimmer of hope to the 41.7 million Americans who rely on paused SNAP benefits.
• 12:15
SPEAKER_00: SNAP, formerly known as Food Stamps, uh provides cash cards known as electronic benefits transfers, which is EBT, to approximately 12% of Americans for limited time to help purchase basic food items.
• 12:33
SPEAKER_00: Households at or below 130% of the poverty line generally qualify for assistance with a large number of recipients being elderly, disabled, or children.
• 12:48
SPEAKER_00: Payments were paused on November 1st amid the shutdown, sparking a back and forth in court between the Trump administration and states to keep benefits flowing.
• 13:02
SPEAKER_00: The effects of the shutdown won't disappear overnight, however, and some recipients of SNAP are still waiting on updates about funds.
• 13:11
SPEAKER_00: But here is what we know.
• 13:15
SPEAKER_00: Question: When will SNAP payments resume?
• 13:18
  SPEAKER_00: The U.S.
• 13:19
SPEAKER_00: Department of Agriculture told USA Today on November 12th that payments should resume within 24 hours of the government reopening for most states.
• 13:29
SPEAKER_00: Jessica again, a spokesperson for the American Public Human Human Services Association, told the Associated Press that most states will be able to issue full benefits within three days after they're given the green light.
• 13:45
SPEAKER_00: So basically, three days what from the time they get the green light, y'all should be anybody uh receiving snap benefits should be getting their money.
• 13:54
SPEAKER_00: Let's see what Sherry says.
• 13:55
SPEAKER_00: Sherry says, FYI got my full portion before the government opened because you call your social worker and at least the new jersey.
• 14:04
SPEAKER_00: She told me, check they released it, so I got mine before government opened.
• 14:08
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 14:08
SPEAKER_00: So Sherry saying you can call up there and perhaps get it even before the government opens.
• 14:14
SPEAKER_00: She got hers the day before.
• 14:16
SPEAKER_00: Uh, but this uh news article is saying, at the worst, within three days of the states getting green light, uh, you should be getting your benefits.
• 14:27
SPEAKER_00: Uh, Crystal Fitzsimmons, president of the Food of Research and Action Center, meanwhile, told USA Today that while the USA, USDA should release funds immediately, people could start to receive them in a few days or even a week, depending on the state.
• 14:44
SPEAKER_00: Complications could arise for those who have already issued partial payments that now need to be rounded out.
• 14:51
SPEAKER_00: As USDA official Patrick Penn previously told courts that it would likely take states days, weeks, or even months to reprogram their systems and work with contractors to enable uh partial payments.
• 15:07
SPEAKER_00: How to check the status of SNAP benefits in your state.
• 15:13
  SPEAKER_00: All right.
• 15:14
SPEAKER_00: For those searching for answers on when their benefits will come, uh your state government is its best place to turn.
• 15:22
SPEAKER_00: So look at your state, call your state, your state reps.
• 15:25
SPEAKER_00: The Department of Health and Human Services, Family and Social Services, Disability Services, or similar agencies in your state will have the most updated information about SNAP payments on their website.
• 15:39
SPEAKER_00: The Food Research and Action Center is also tracking state-by-state distribution on its website.
• 15:46
SPEAKER_00: What happened to Snap during the government shutdown?
• 15:49
SPEAKER_00: SNAP became a flashpoint in the battle between lawmakers, resulting in an unprecedented disruption to payments and a litany of court rulings.
• 16:00
SPEAKER_00: For the first time in the food stamp program's 60-year history, funding lapsed on November 1st, launching a scramble to try to keep benefits flowing.
• 16:11
SPEAKER_00: A few days before the lapse, the USDA said it couldn't use the roughly$6 billion of contingency funds to pay for SNAP, despite the agency having used them in at least two previous shutdowns and having detailed plans to plans to use them in a later deleted contingency plan dated September 30th.
• 16:31
SPEAKER_00: We knew that the courts told them they could use the contingency money.
• 16:36
SPEAKER_00: We got billions of dollars in there, but because they were using this for a political tool in order to get their way on whatever side of the spectrum you are, Democrat, Republican, whatever, they didn't use the contingency.
• 16:52
SPEAKER_00: They act like they couldn't use it, even though we've used it before.
• 16:56
SPEAKER_00: And once this happened, states then sued the Trump administration and two federal courts to keep benefits flowing.
• 17:05
SPEAKER_00: A request that was granted by both.
• 17:11
SPEAKER_00: After the USDA said it could only pay partial benefits, about 50 to 65 percent of usual payments, Rhode Island Federal Judge John McConnell instructed the USDA on November 6th to pay benefits in full by Friday, November 7th.
• 17:29
SPEAKER_00: The Supreme Court paused the order after the Trump administration issued an emergency request to block it.
• 17:36
SPEAKER_00: The USDA then instructed states that had already begun distributing benefits to undo the payments and take them back, but was blocked by federal court.
• 17:49
SPEAKER_00: In other words, this has been a fiasco, but it's over now.
• 17:55
  SPEAKER_00: Supposedly.
• 18:02
  SPEAKER_00: I got a couple shout-outs real quick.
• 18:04
SPEAKER_00: Shout out Black Roses becoming a new YouTube member.

• 25:24
SPEAKER_00: We don't send them there to have mafia motherfuckers, having them caught up in gambling shit.
• 25:31
SPEAKER_00: Says here, we may all think that the portrayal of organized crime we remember from movies and television shows and books no longer exist.
• 25:41
SPEAKER_00: But we are announcing charges today that allege it still does, despite proliferation of legal betting of all kinds, gambling remains a mainstay of members and associates of organized crime.
• 26:01
SPEAKER_00: The location and methods may have evolved, but illegal gambling, in this case, sports bet, remains a problem, and we will charge those who seek to profit from it.

• 27:05
SPEAKER_00: I think uh uh uh uh uh uh uh of being people digging ditches and throwing them in the dirt.

SPEAKER_00: Because that's the hardest question of all time to answer.
• 28:15
  SPEAKER_00: Goodfellas or casino.
• 28:30
SPEAKER_00: Casino was hard, but good fellas was the shit, C Tuck says.

SPEAKER_00: That's why I asked you to pick one.
• 28:51
SPEAKER_00: Oh, shout out to Sherry for the Italian.
• 28:55
SPEAKER_00: So we I see, we got all kind of we got all kinds of flavors in our community.
• 28:59
SPEAKER_00: I'm glad we got some Italians in here.
• 29:01
SPEAKER_00: You know, I love the mafia and the mafia stories.
• 29:03
SPEAKER_00: I used to tell y'all how my grandmother used to always tell me the mafia stories.
• 29:07
SPEAKER_00: We'd be on the back, we'd be on her back patio.
• 29:11
SPEAKER_00: We'd be on my grandmother's back patio, and we'd be just talking with our regular voices like this, just talking about all kinds of shit.
• 29:18
SPEAKER_00: And then all of a sudden, granny would start talking about the mafia.
• 29:23
SPEAKER_00: And soon she would start telling me about the mafia, she would always lean in and she would start whispering like this, and her eyes would get big, and she would be saying all the craziest things that the mafia did.
• 29:35
SPEAKER_00: And I would be thinking, like, Granny, is the mafia like watching us right now?
• 29:41
  SPEAKER_00: Why we whispering?
• 29:42
  SPEAKER_00: We in our backyard.
• 29:44
SPEAKER_00: I always thought that was the funniest part about the mafia stories because granny would tell them and talk to me as if the mafia was like watching us or listening to us.
• 29:56
  SPEAKER_00: Had me scared.
• 29:57
SPEAKER_00: I'd be looking around like shit, Granny, what why are we whispering?
• 30:01
  SPEAKER_00: Who looking at us?
• 30:03
SPEAKER_00: So I used to always love the mafia stories.
• 30:05
SPEAKER_00: I've always been intrigued by gangsters and um you know the different history behind it.
• 30:16
SPEAKER_00: Of course, a big godfather fan, Al Pacino.
• 30:19
SPEAKER_00: Like I said, we talk in Mafia movies.
• 30:21
SPEAKER_00: We you can't have a mafia movie unless you got either Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Joe Pesha.
• 30:32
SPEAKER_00: You gotta have one of them three if you're gonna have a real mafia movie.
• 30:37
SPEAKER_00: If you don't got one of them three, your mafia movie is bootlegged.
• 30:44
SPEAKER_00: My girl Melissa says, Good fellas is a classic.
• 30:48
SPEAKER_00: The best part was at the end when they showed a newspaper, and it's the Youngstown Vindicator.
• 30:53
SPEAKER_00: I remember that part, Melissa.
• 30:55
SPEAKER_00: Shout out to Young's Town.
• 30:57
SPEAKER_00: Shout out to Young's Town.
• 30:59
SPEAKER_00: T Tuck said, My granddad had some dealings with them back in the day.
• 31:03
SPEAKER_00: They had still have a stranglehold on the junkyards in Cleveland.
• 31:07
  SPEAKER_00: It's good information, uh T Tuck, because I didn't know that.
• 31:11
SPEAKER_00: I didn't know that the mafia still had a chokehold on the uh on our junkyards.
• 31:18
SPEAKER_00: Because you know, that's big money here.
• 31:23
SPEAKER_00: My granny would lean in, she was like, one thing about the mafia, they didn't play.
• 31:29
SPEAKER_00: And they came and they did this and they did that.
• 31:31
SPEAKER_00: I'll be like, Granny, you scaring me.
• 31:33
SPEAKER_00: Why we why we whispering, Granny?
• 31:36
SPEAKER_00: Is the mafia about to get us like right now?
• 31:43
SPEAKER_00: What you got saying, Sher?
• 31:44
SPEAKER_00: She said, My grandmother, I heard all the Mancini girls used to smuggle booze in the train under their dress.
• 31:53
SPEAKER_00: She didn't tell me, but my cousin did.
• 31:55
SPEAKER_00: Y'all, hey, those family secrets be something else, don't they?
• 32:02
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
• 32:03
SPEAKER_00: No, we had so now why are we vibing?
• 32:07
SPEAKER_00: Because Italians, like the Italian community, that's another community that's always been close to me and always accepted me into their little world.
• 32:17
SPEAKER_00: So I've always had like good vibes with Italians and and stuff like that.
• 32:22
SPEAKER_00: So this explains another reason why we all just get along and and and we all vibe because all my life, Italians have liked me.
• 32:34
SPEAKER_00: Like we've I was one of the few people that could go to Little Italy without no problem.
• 32:41
SPEAKER_00: We got a place called Little Italy in Cleveland, where back in the day, if you weren't Italian, you basically weren't even allowed to be in Little Italy.
• 32:49

• 32:53
SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, let me change that.
• 32:54
  SPEAKER_00: Everybody loves flow.

• 33:27
SPEAKER_00: Little Italy feels like the 80s.
• 33:31
SPEAKER_00: They got nice pastry restaurants, nice little winery.
