- 8:35[SPEAKER_08]: Ken says it's stupid and he won't play it.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_08]: It's controversial.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_08]: It's maybe a little out there.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_08]: People love that song.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_08]: Now the most popular Christmas songs, of course, are Mariah Carey's.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_08]: All I want for Christmas is you.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_08]: Bobby Helms and Jinglebell, Jinglebell, Jinglebell.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_08]: Yep, Brenda Lee, or I can around the Christmas tree.

- 9:03[SPEAKER_08]: It's a holiday, jallie Christmas.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_08]: It's the best time of the year.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_08]: Whatever the words are.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_08]: Something about mistletoe and all of that.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_08]: It was burlives, is he?
- 9:23[SPEAKER_08]: You know, they probably take them off the way they did Kate Smith.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_08]: All somebody has to do was go on CNN and say, burlives was a Nazi or something, and boom, it's all over.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_08]: Of course he was, and he's a great singer.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_08]: He was an icon of my time.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_08]: Well, somebody texted and grandma's a classic.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_08]: It should be on.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_08]: There's some disagreement out there.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_08]: This is not a consensus.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_08]: So.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_08]: Hmm.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_08]: You know, text Samantha and he Velasquez says he wants to be on the hotline later this fall.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_08]: That's fine.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_08]: I think that'd have been did a nice job this year.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_08]: I got a call from Cliff Olney this morning.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_08]: Oh my God.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_08]: We need an intervention or something.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_08]: You tell him, now he's I'm preparing all these ethics complaints.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_08]: I've got to get the exhibits right answer.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_08]: Just submit what you're gotten to forget the exhibits of men and later.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_08]: He's been telling me he's preparing ethics complaints for months now.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_08]: Well, you got to get him, and then next Monday again, ethics here, how can it hold an ethics here in a three o'clock when the work session that week is at seven?
- 10:32[SPEAKER_08]: And they're going to have to go through every email.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_08]: And is it going to be out in the open?
- 10:37[SPEAKER_08]: Chairman Jennings, please tell us, text me if you want to.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_08]: Don't want to talk on the air.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_08]: Can the public follow this?
- 10:44[SPEAKER_08]: Is Steve weed production going to put it on?
- 10:45[SPEAKER_08]: We want to see.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, you can't just make these little accusate, they have to be heard in public.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_08]: And now we're having a former Mayor Smith on tomorrow.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_08]: If he wants to talk about that topic, he can't.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_08]: If he doesn't, he doesn't have to.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_08]: You know what, I mean, this is going to be an open meeting.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_08]: Are there going to be transcripts and all of that stuff?
- 11:13[SPEAKER_08]: We want to know.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_08]: uh... somebody just wrote a text somebody text that can i commit on the hotline since you're allowing anyone on well not really but if you tell me who you are and why you want to be on if i think you'd be a good guest but no if you just want to call and say something you can do that
- 11:44[SPEAKER_08]: But to be in studio, you have to be invited.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_08]: Well, what do we got?
- 11:53[SPEAKER_08]: We got Smith tomorrow, Smidian.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_08]: And I think Assemblyman Smulling is supposed to call in for a few minutes on Friday, so we can hear what he has to say.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_08]: He's the guy running for Congress.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_08]: and then there's our friend, the sticker mule, Anthony Constantino, and then of course there's a here the name of Mark Mollonero is being banned, he'd about again.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_08]: Former Duchess County executive, he was a congressman for a term, was in the assembly.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_08]: So, there you go.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_08]: Doesn't live in the district.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_08]: All this stuff about does he live in the district?
- 12:28[SPEAKER_08]: I mean,
- 12:30[SPEAKER_08]: You know, people in the water tend to be happy to have the Barclay lattice of congressmen and he lives 30 miles away, but he's not in the district, but people from 200 miles away who happened to be in some place along the throughway we never heard of.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_08]: Exactly.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_08]: So I don't know.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_08]: Whoever Mr. Smallen is, he's welcome to introduce himself as the Mr. Constantino and we'd like to give, you know, at least for this corner of the world a chance to hear who these people are.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_08]: Well, down in the volunteer state, that's Tennessee.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_08]: They often bane, she lost, by nine points, to Matthew van Epst, the Republican, to fill the vacant seat in District 7, congressional District 7.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_08]: Now, that was, you really got a good understanding.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_08]: This wire was much CNN election nights, because they're better graphics.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_08]: Over on Fox, not so much.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_08]: It's mostly just hand-of-the-trucking, but
- 13:26[SPEAKER_08]: They got that John King on there in front of the magic wall, and you could see this district, which is in central Tennessee, goes from the Kentucky to the Alabama borders, 14 counties are all are part of.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_08]: Now, Davis and counties were Nashville, as part of that's included in the district.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_08]: Now, after and Ben, she won that by a big margin, but she lost the other 12 or 13 counties.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_08]: It was one county, my gummery up near Fort Campbell, it was close.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_08]: The other ones were pretty lopsided.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_08]: However, the margins were not what they were last year for the Republicans.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_08]: But still, she lost.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_08]: Fetching as she may be the AOC of Tennessee lost.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_08]: But I think we'll see you again.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_08]: whether it's running for that or something else.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_08]: She certainly got a lot of name recognition out of it.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_08]: And she still holds office as a state legislator.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_08]: So I'm sure we'll hear more of her.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_08]: And she'll be on all the talk shows.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_08]: She's smart, she will be.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_08]: You know, some of these people would be smart to get on like gut-feld and the five and all that.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_08]: Be seen by a different audience other than the weirdo is that watch MS now, what's gone?
- 14:40[SPEAKER_08]: Is it MS now?
- 14:41[SPEAKER_08]: Is that it?
- 14:42[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, the Keith Old Bebin crowd?
- 14:46[SPEAKER_08]: Well, you know, there were trash bags spotted under curb without a container today in the new policies and effect, but how would people know?
- 14:55[SPEAKER_08]: Unless you said, well, there's a press release on news drunk, you have to go read it.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_08]: People know, it's not how the world works.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_08]: So anyway, I hope they don't get in trouble for that.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_08]: I don't see any problem with requiring things to be put in a container, either.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_08]: I don't think there is any problem with that.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_08]: It's fine with me.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_08]: Fine with me.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_08]: If I knew they were taking commercial trash, I would have gone that route.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_08]: But I, you know, I'm kind of, er, the biggest problem is recycling.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_08]: It's not the amount of trash I produce.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_08]: Either at the bar, me or anybody else.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_08]: It's that darn recycling.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_08]: All the boxes and nonsense, and, you know, like bottles and things, the liquor bottle.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_08]: I don't, I just throw that in the trash.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_08]: I'm not messing with that.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_08]: bunch of all these boxes you've got to collapse them and then they all go in a landfill anyway.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_08]: Now down in Skatectity, they're having a debate about trash.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_08]: They're going to back off on a policy that requires if you put like a couch or something like that or a mattress on the curb.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, it's not going to require a sticker, the city will just take them.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_08]: Well, how do you get rid of a mattress otherwise?
- 16:15[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, sometimes the people who sell it through your take at her, but nobody wants a used mattress, do you know?
- 16:25[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, if you had one of those plastic covers over at the whole length of use that, yeah, and even that, you should wipe it down with chlorox or something, but whatever, how do you get rid of those items just put them on the crew?
- 16:39[SPEAKER_08]: Skinectity.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_08]: not much you can say about that place and uh... but city councils debating that they're debating getting optical scanners for the trash trucks to gauge the size of the item being left on the curb now i said i would that work in water down well you can have a mattress of this side can have a double you can't have a california king out that you can uh... it's just like please just take the damn stuff
- 17:12[SPEAKER_08]: Just take it.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_08]: Back in the old days before all the danks and landfills and regional solid waste facilities and we had a nice dump over on water street, a city picked it up and brought it there and if you had extra stuff they'd take it there and it didn't cost anything and I granted there's a cost within your taxes and so on but those were the good old days.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know, and they've created a, you know, a big patronage mill cottage industry out there in Rodman.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_08]: But you used to be, you could just take it down the water street and what was the harm in that?
- 17:56[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, I trash is still there.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_08]: Well, well, I have to see, um, just trying to wait talk about what's connected to
- 18:12[SPEAKER_08]: Only one person was upset about you're not going to hear grandma got run over by a reindeer yeah what i get in trouble if i played it here what do you think but i get in trouble with that where's it i don't think it i mean i don't think it's i think it is kind of stupid but
- 18:44[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, let's see if it plays watch what oh no he got dumb commercials and stuff.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_08]: There it is oh my god stop It's brutal it's brutal Band in water town
- 19:13[SPEAKER_20]: I ran there, walking home from our house, Christmas Eve.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_20]: You can say there's no such thing as Santa, but as for me, I'm grandma, we believe.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_20]: She'd been drinking too much eggnog.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, it glorifies alcohol.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_08]: That's why we won't, oh, that's why it's banned from here.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_08]: Okay, I get it now.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_08]: The devil's brewer eggnog or something.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_08]: Now, I know Spike the Agnoggers and it is an outdated concept, now it's just weed, but still, still.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_08]: Somebody suggested to have Mr. Olnick.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_08]: No, he can't.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_08]: No.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_08]: Somebody said I used to enjoy Mike White Christmas music.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_08]: I'm sure he did Christmas.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_08]: Mike White, I would say if there was a burlifes of water town, it would be Mike White.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know if he listens to the show, but yeah, we'd love to have him in.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_08]: We'd love to have him in.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_08]: Okay, I haven't seen Mike in years, but I, I guess he's, I did talk to him recently, I mean, for something I don't know what it was, but there was some reason I talked to him.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, let's see, what have we got?
- 20:45[SPEAKER_08]: You know, there's all this talk about affordability.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_08]: A high housing cost could've be lowering birth rates.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_08]: Why are birth rates going down?
- 20:54[SPEAKER_08]: Why aren't people reproducing?
- 20:57[SPEAKER_08]: Why are the more people who are barren?
- 20:58[SPEAKER_08]: Some people say, well, I'm afraid, because again, afforded or something like that?
- 21:02[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know, is it's across to housing?
- 21:09[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, good friend of mine, Marty Kelly, seven kids in the family, great family, Joe and Mary, great people.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_08]: And he's the love going over there, Christmas time, and all that family was there.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_08]: Because of course, I was just a miserable lonely soul, but you don't see that anymore.

- 22:45[SPEAKER_08]: Boy, they really want to nail headset, don't they?
- 22:51[SPEAKER_08]: I like some of the stuff he does.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_08]: I like, you know, he gets up and says there's no need for admiral to be wearing dresses.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_08]: I think that's true.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_08]: That's true.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_08]: boy there's a bad accident involving a city police car this morning and a cattermy and william street that's tough intersection yeah i think i know i think there was another one of a few days ago but this look i hope nobody got hurt it says personal injuries seven thirty a.m. why it's really crunched up a bit huh
- 23:33[SPEAKER_08]: Well, let's see, people have a lot of comments.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_08]: I love these prayers for all involved.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_08]: Hope everyone is safe.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_08]: Well, I hope they're safe too.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_08]: Now, the speculation that somebody blew a stop sign or whatever, it looks like the police car was hit in the side and the other went in the more the front.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_08]: I'm not a traffic investigator, so I can't really draw conclusions from that.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_08]: No, you know, I'm not a big believer in an accident in accident.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_08]: Nobody wants it to happen.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_08]: Nobody wants it to happen.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_08]: It is always, we've got to blame somebody.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_08]: Well, you don't have to blame somebody.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_08]: It's winter weather and an accident happened.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_08]: It's not like you had prior thought of a, I'm going to go out and winter.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_08]: No, it's just an accident.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_08]: Um, I don't know, um, oh, there's somebody who texted in put a message in on news junkie.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_08]: I was the one who witnessed it and made sure everyone was okay.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_08]: Good for you, and you used my truck to block traffic.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_08]: The police officer came to a stop, was turning left on to William Street, and the Subaru barrel through the stop sign, clipping the drivers.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, there you go.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_08]: It was the other driver.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_08]: I hope everyone stays okay.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_08]: but for using your vehicle to block other traffic from hitting the scene and for checking up on the people.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_08]: So, but it is a four-way stop there.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_08]: But if somebody was turning left, they probably came to a stop and then determined they were gonna turn left.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_08]: So I would say somebody else must have, because if someone's turning left in front of you, you're not gonna,
- 25:40[SPEAKER_08]: and you're coming up in the intersection you're gonna stop whether there's a stop sign or not so it sounds like the Subaru anyway we hope everybody's okay uh... and uh... there you go there you go now who was there's a couple ambulances there's a whole bunch of stuff
- 26:09[SPEAKER_08]: You know, you never know, that's an intersection, I go through it from time to time and you never think of anything happening, it's a pretty bland intersection, but all of a sudden all hell can break loose.

- 31:43[SPEAKER_08]: Okay, that's the scanner action early today and that accident over at the intersection of William Street and Academy Street and the pictures are interesting.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_08]: A red on news, Junkie, the patrol car is just, well, it looks, I don't know if it's total.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_08]: I'm not one of my John Harder or somebody like that.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_08]: I can't tell whether it's total, but sure it looks in bad shape.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_08]: I think it'd be pretty tough to rebuild that.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_08]: And then I don't know about the other vehicle.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_08]: I can't see it in the picture.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_08]: I'm looking at, but.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_08]: they do have photos here on news you know this is the interesting thing about the modern age did you can look at all this you can hear the police scanner we haven't got all the details the who what where went but you know hopefully that'll come at some point but you know seven thirty in the morning your traditional news media
- 32:41[SPEAKER_08]: But yeah, the other vehicle is pretty well crunched in the front, so you can see where it hit the patrol car, but, and you don't really know if anybody's hurt with that type of thing to later, because you could think you're okay, but you're not, you know, and I don't mean like faking it for the lawyers, I mean, real injury, so, we'll have to wait and see.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_08]: That should have been the lead on the new newscast.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_08]: Shouldn't it?
- 33:18[SPEAKER_08]: But they led with a piece about yesterday's department head meeting at the White House.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_08]: Strange.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_08]: This is really a very visual story.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_08]: Realizing, I got to get there with good stuff there.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_08]: But the still photos.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_08]: Modern media, old media doesn't react as well to the flow of these days.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_08]: You've got to get in the flow of information.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_08]: I think that's what New Drunkie tries to do.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_08]: And some of these other things that are out there, there's other people out there doing interesting things too.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_08]: But, well, there you go.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_08]: But the guy who witnessed it, we don't have to wait for a police report or a press release, he's right on here
- 34:13[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, but the police car got spun like 180 degrees according to his account.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_08]: So that's kind of, uh, it's kind of dangerous.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_08]: Now, All righty.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_08]: Well, if anybody else witnessed it or wants to call in or talk about it, feel free to do so, feel free.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_08]: All right.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_08]: That said, um,
- 34:38[SPEAKER_08]: I can't remember if the city's insured again.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_08]: I know they're insured against liability, but I don't know about the vehicles, I think the vehicles are just regular vehicle insurance.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_08]: But I don't see that when being repaired.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_08]: Maybe it will be.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_08]: You know, the air, I don't know if any airbags to pull it, I don't really know more about it.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_08]: And the front part looks okay, even.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_08]: The rear is kind of ruined.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_08]: All righty, um, that's it.

- 38:30[SPEAKER_08]: What have we got happening here?
- 38:31[SPEAKER_08]: Somebody just sent me a text message.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_08]: Um... Oh, the Mayor Pierce was on CNN?
- 38:41[SPEAKER_08]: Yes, she is!
- 38:42[SPEAKER_08]: I see that, no, what was she doing?
- 38:48[SPEAKER_08]: She's being interviewed on World Trump accounts, but good investment for children.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_04]: In the UK, how come we're in this generally being seen as a success because the markets have been...
- 38:57[SPEAKER_08]: Okay, we'll take an excerpt here.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_04]: You know, once you got that initial $1,000...
- 39:03[SPEAKER_04]: really worth well to pay for college or something.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_22]: I guess certainly yes these accounts as you mentioned tax advantage investment accounts these restablish be the one big beautiful bill act which was signed into law earlier this year and any child under the age of 18 will be able to open one of these accounts the key is
- 39:25[SPEAKER_22]: only children who were born from 2025 to 2028 will be able to take advantage of the $1,000 and seed funding.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_22]: There was a good news today with the Dell family air foundation and their major donation, which will help even more children, 10 and under, I believe, be able to reap the benefits of a $250 investment.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_22]: But the key is to be able to continue to invest in this account to make it worthwhile
- 39:55[SPEAKER_22]: I'll see what it's.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_08]: Wow.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_08]: The mayor on CNN.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_08]: How come that wasn't on our local news?
- 40:03[SPEAKER_08]: I didn't know that.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_08]: Somebody sent me the video.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_08]: That's Mayor Pierce on CNN.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_08]: Talking about these Trump bucks, whatever they're calling him.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_08]: These baby accounts.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_08]: Make sure you want to go out and have a baby.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_08]: If you get 250 bucks, right?
- 40:17[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, it looks like her.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_08]: I guess it is her.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_08]: Wow.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to have to ask this person one, it's kind of amazing, it was somebody sent it, it's post sent something called snap stream, I don't know what that, I don't know what any of this stuff is, it's just like another planet to me, but, well, if she's on CNN, yesterday I didn't see anything in the news or in the paper, you know I remember
- 40:57[SPEAKER_08]: on the old guard at Channel 7 said to me back you as it goes whatever happened at the local news i mean she's always on that digital desk thing she was on c. and i didn't even know that maybe it was on the news maybe i missed it did i miss it somebody just sent me the video so we just played a little bit of the audio and thanks to c.n.n for that and uh... they're good people over there yeah
- 41:25[SPEAKER_08]: I like to watch Caitlyn Collins at nine instead of Hannity.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_08]: I'll tell you that much.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_08]: So, I'm not against CNN.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_08]: Okay, well, 330 yesterday afternoon on CNN.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_08]: Huh.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_08]: Somebody text it in.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_08]: Here's a text.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_08]: Motorists are driving around the speed bumps up at the park and making their own road.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_08]: Why didn't they take those out?
- 41:57[SPEAKER_08]: They could have taken them out and said they had to do it for the plowers.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_08]: And then this never put them back.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_08]: See, the reason he didn't see the mayor on the news because she was talking about a Trump program.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_08]: And in our local media, it's Trump sucks 24-7.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_08]: That's all they do.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_08]: And so they probably didn't want to put it on because it made Trump look good like he's giving money to babies teaching them financial or fiscal literacy.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_08]: That's the problem, you know, people, I say they don't know how to balance the checkbook.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_08]: They've been at most people in the 20s have never written a check.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_08]: They can't make change.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_08]: Now we have to get rid of the penny and round everything off because they can't make change.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_08]: And the president wants to promote and the del family.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_08]: I think a lot of money want to promote fiscal literacy, I think that's a great idea.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_08]: So now it's too bad the mayor wouldn't come on our show and talk about it.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_08]: We'd be glad to have her.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_08]: But remember when she said she was going to come on every month to answer people's questions.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_08]: And then it never happened.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_08]: I don't mean to be a nitpicker, but just say it.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_08]: Just saying and now you got all these people who are putting trash bags out and because they didn't know about this new program And we would have worked, you know, I mentioned it as many times as I could, but I don't know, I even said I was thinking of donating a trash toter or something to a needy person No, nobody on Lumestrive gets it.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_08]: No, I mean a needy person

- 47:11[SPEAKER_08]: Depend on it, indeed.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_08]: You know, seeing the mayor on CNN, reminds me of the time I was on CNN.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_08]: It's not great how I make every story about me, because it's so annoying as a couple of people.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_08]: No, it's back during one of the ice storms.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_08]: 99.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, the 99.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_08]: And Gary Tuckman from CNN was set up over on Huntington Street when the river was almost over that stone wall.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_08]: And Governor Pataki was supposed to show up, but he was running late and they had a set time for this insert, so he grabbed me and put me on and Mr. Tuckman interviewed me and I did a wonderful job, of course, but glad to do it.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_08]: And they got to Governor on later.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_08]: So, just an interesting aside, I don't know,
- 47:57[SPEAKER_08]: And Mayor Pierce have some public relations firm.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know how she got booked to be on CNN to talk about Trump's baby books, but maybe she could tell us, but he's, I think, there's a, see, that's the kind of stuff where you like the mayor or not.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_08]: It's like that accident this morning.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_08]: That's the kind of stuff people want to see.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_08]: It's water cooler news.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, did you see the mayor was on CNN?
- 48:28[SPEAKER_08]: Or, boy, did you see that accident over in pictures of that accident?
- 48:32[SPEAKER_08]: That's, they don't talk about, you know, whatever.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_08]: Trump sucks stories or boats in the Mediterranean or what CBS news has to say.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_08]: They want to see that local stuff.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_08]: Water cooler news.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_09]: What would they be talking about if I walked in the office right now not going to be talking about what's pedal does news are going to talk about things that are interesting but after doing your on the air yeah i i don't think you discussed this but uh... Mr. crop proposed in executive order a few days ago go away with naturalized citizenship u.s. citizenship
- 49:17[SPEAKER_09]: I'm not sure I said if did you you hear that news uh... no yeah he proposed that i think it's happening meeting your someplace they have a he wants to take away u.a.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_09]: citizenship of citizens not born in this country but that's that that's all you like i can't even i i i i i i'm not sure he really said that and which case it isn't going to happen anyway he did he wants to take away citizenship
- 49:48[SPEAKER_09]: In other words, naturalized citizens and someone's kind of came here from my wife's naturalized citizens.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_09]: She hasn't been for 42 years now.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_08]: All right.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, so is E-Line Musk, so is a lot of people.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_08]: No, I don't think he's looking to do that.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_08]: Now he wants to get rid of his birthright citizen ship.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_09]: I think it shows you how outrageous some of his thoughts are on using your car as ejecting and ejecting orders.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_09]: That's pretty bad.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_09]: But that that's after in the news.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know how far it's going to go.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_09]: Trust me, I'm going to go very far because the Supreme Court is ruled out.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_09]: OK, well, listen, more key to that, but you can't do that.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_09]: If you're born here, you're a citizen, whatever.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_08]: Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_08]: You're talking about birthright citizenship, not naturalized citizens.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_08]: You're not talking about somebody born in France, and they moved here and became a citizen.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_08]: We're talking about birthright.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_09]: I was about to make sure the two of you have.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_09]: I know naturalized citizens are the four key to them if you're born here.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_09]: But naturalized coming here for another country and becoming a naturalized citizen, becoming a citizen is also legal.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_09]: The only way you can lose that is if they prove during the process, if you become a citizenship, that you violate rules, you write on your application.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_06]: All right.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_09]: Thanks, happened.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_09]: They've got them, like, cannot take away your citizenship just by it arbitrarily.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_08]: No, and I don't think they should listen, you misunderstand me totally.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know, Trump says a lot of things.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_08]: There are some of them I disagree with.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_08]: There are some policies I disagree with.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_08]: I like a lot of what he does.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_08]: I probably like more of what he does versus what Kamala Harris would have done.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_08]: So that's me, but you are far more strident.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_08]: You are Trump sucks, Trump sucks, Trump sucks.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_08]: And that's it.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_09]: No, no, that's not true.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_09]: You sound like doing that's not true.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_08]: I was saying on this issue in this case.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_09]: If he's definitely wrong, I'll take him away from citizenship.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 51:46[UNKNOWN]: That doesn't point out to make you.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_08]: All right.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_08]: No problem.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_08]: Well, thank you.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_08]: All right, bye now.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_08]: All righty, whatever.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_08]: Who knows?
- 51:54[SPEAKER_08]: Ah, somebody said, Hmm.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_08]: Well, some people don't like Danny.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_08]: I don't want to say that.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_08]: Somebody text in the mirror should get stopped getting sidetracked and get an early start on the budget.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_08]: Another person text in says she has a pretty face.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_08]: Okay, that's nice.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_08]: The life-saver mirror says he likes Sarah.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_08]: Compo.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_08]: That's a good thing or a bad thing.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_08]: but uh... that was interesting that uh... what she was doing on uh... uh... it be interested to know how she ended up on there talking about administration policy issue the new uh... deputy press secretary for the white house i don't know what you know well she should be looking into how much uh...
- 53:05[SPEAKER_08]: That traffic accident is going to cross or something like that.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_08]: 755, 1240, the phone number.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_08]: Let's see, the life-saver mayor.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, here's some of your taxes that Trump said 88% of Somali migrants are on welfare.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know if they are not.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_08]: Listen, that thing going on in Minnesota.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_08]: Again, this is another one that this is where I'd probably agree with Danny.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_08]: Trump should just stay out of it.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_08]: The facts are the facts.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_08]: It'll play out on its own up there.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_08]: If people in Minnesota want to keep voting for the DFL ticket and all of that stuff and find, fine.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_08]: And, you know, you're up there, they're saying, well, you don't want to say anything because you can't single out a given community, well, they function politically as a community, by delivering entire blocks of votes to the Democrats.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_08]: They identify themselves as a community up there, not me.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_08]: I don't look at people as whatever, um, you know, they want diversity, but then they want the diverse people to all vote the same way.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_08]: I guess is the way they got it figured.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_08]: We got to have a four minutes left.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_08]: What is our, um, any weather here?
- 54:26[SPEAKER_08]: We still haven't heard from the angry man.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, let's see.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_08]: I storm of 98.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_08]: This is from the life-saver
- 54:37[SPEAKER_08]: Governor Dodged Governor and then Assemblywoman Dee Dee was Mayor then, right?
- 54:47[SPEAKER_08]: She was mad.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_08]: Hmm.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_08]: Well, you know, he was a busy man at the time.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_08]: Busy, busy man.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_08]: 755, 1240, the phone number, if it'd like to be on the air, the show of shows.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_08]: We can talk about the weather if you want it's somebody put the shade down.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_08]: I can't see out the window Anybody want to tell me what's going on out there?
- 55:17[SPEAKER_08]: Oh look on the phone you don't need 31 degrees feels like 17 now it feels like 31 Today we expect a high of 33 chance of snow low tonight one
- 55:33[SPEAKER_08]: That's cool, high to mar if 32, then low to mar 8, minus 1, high for ID 25.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_08]: That's not nice weather, isn't it?
- 55:43[SPEAKER_08]: Not nice at all.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_08]: Hmm, well, what are we going to do?
- 55:50[SPEAKER_08]: Can't do much about it.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, let's see.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_08]: Then what's the weekend supposed to be?
- 56:02[SPEAKER_08]: I lost anyways 31 out there right now.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_08]: Not a bad day.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_08]: Nothing dire happening.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_08]: Hope he got all your snow cleaned up and everything.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_08]: It was just enough snow where you had to deal with it, but not much.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_08]: That was the problem yesterday.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_08]: Somebody sent me something with an attachment.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_08]: All right.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_08]: The Duff did.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_08]: It was a Duff.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_08]: When he sent.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, it's 81 where he is.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_08]: Come on, stuff.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_08]: Just because you're a lotty dad out in Florida.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_08]: Well, anyway, where you satisfied with the results of the president's MRI, probably not if you're Danny or something.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_08]: You know how life is your healthy till you fall over pretty much, and that's the way it's going to be with Trump or anybody else I wouldn't recommend you go out and shovel snow or something But mentally seems pretty pretty alert Not as you know, you really the goal standard for
- 57:21[SPEAKER_08]: for mental competence he was probably Joe Biden.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_08]: You know, did you hear what the media said?
- 57:26[SPEAKER_08]: He was sharp as a tack?
- 57:28[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I heard it many times.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, he would have so many times sharp as a tack.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_08]: But he runs circles around junior staff in the office.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_08]: Now, Cuomo ran circles around staff in the office, but not because he was exhibiting his energy or mental fitness, he was just running after them.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_08]: But yeah, he was sharp as a tack.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_08]: He sure was.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_08]: I remember people here in the building were telling me back when Mr. Biden was present and he was sharp as a tag.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_08]: I see no reason.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_08]: Oh yes he is.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_08]: Because they get this bat signal from the DNC.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_08]: It comes.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_08]: It's beamed into the heads of a lot of these people and they just repeat the talking points.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_08]: That's how you can have on television on multiple networks.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_08]: Different political operatives all saying the same thing.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_08]: You ever notice that?
- 58:18[SPEAKER_08]: They have the same phrase.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_08]: like double tap is their phrase is we double tap them.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_08]: And that's their phrase this week that was that came out from the bat cave.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_08]: You're supposed to use the word double tap in reference to that boat.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_08]: No.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_08]: Well, if you don't think that does happen, I mean, that's how it's done.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_08]: That's how media relations is done and marketing and all that.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_08]: Got to get everybody say in the same thing.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_08]: And then it gets in everybody's head and that's how it works.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_08]: double-tapped right okay uh... maybe you can discuss further with Glenn today uh... revulsion over the fact that grandma got run over by rain day was not being played on the radio because some people think it's stupid yeah talk about stupid i could get into an argument with johnny about some of them you know about uh... once that stuff he likes bad bunny or whatever
- 59:20[SPEAKER_08]: We won't play daddy, grandma, I got to go over by a rain deer or run over by a rain deer, but she'll play bad bunny at the Super Bowl.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_08]: Is there something wrong in this country?
- 59:31[SPEAKER_08]: No, there's something going on.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_08]: Culture wars.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_08]: That's what it is.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_08]: Culture wars.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_08]: All right.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_08]: Well, that's about it for today.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_08]: I think we've said everything we can say.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_08]: And I want to remind you that Glenn Curry, you'll be in here at five o'clock today.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_08]: five o'clock the live at five show right here on this community broadcast to station we are a.m. twelve forty w. h. m. war and water town New York
