  I think that what we're doing right now is a great benefit and

  virtue because it's an end around between this whole

  corrupt informational system, media system.

  We claim to believe in a God who spoke the universe into
• 0:28
  existence and literally raised himself from the dead, and yet
• 0:33
  we're not going to believe that anything else exists in the
• 0:36
  spirit realm, even though His word tells us that they do.
• 0:40
  Their bodies weren't permitted to go to sleep like humans do.
• 0:44
  And they weren't. Permitted to go to.
• 0:45
  Heaven, so they. Wander the earth.
• 0:49
  You know. I've seen the eyes turn black.
• 0:51
  To unknown tongues being spoken. These giants would love way up
• 0:56
  in the Highland, the young Braves.
• 0:58
  The young men would hide up in the trees and wait for one of
• 1:01
  these 12 footers to come walking down the path and they would
• 1:04
  jump on them and kill them, drag them back to the village and the
• 1:08
  village would feast on the body freedom.

  Then people start to get weapons, they start to get
• 1:17
  armor, they start to build cities, they start to fortify
• 1:19
  their cities. Now God looks down and there's
• 1:22
  violence everywhere. The.
• 1:24
  Battle this war that we. Are at is not against each
• 1:27
  other, it's against these principalities and these rulers
• 1:30
  and these archons in the high. Places.
• 1:32
  It's really worthwhile to read the Bible yourself.
• 1:35
  Fear is one of the primary drivers of mind control because
• 1:40
  we have to take every thought captive and resist fear.
• 1:46
  You're going to have a testimony that is a justice case against
• 1:52
  the Kingdom of. Darkness.
• 2:07
  We left off talking about the parable of the sower in Matthew
• 2:10
  chapter 13 as an explanation or an elaboration rather of when we
• 2:18
  observe people that seem to walk away from their faith.
• 2:22
  And again, to clarify, this is not going through a rough patch
• 2:26
  in your faith or a season of sin, as we've all had those
• 2:30
  issues. This is more of an about face
• 2:35
  dramatically turning the other way and saying, God, I don't
• 2:38
  want anything to do with you any longer.
• 2:42
  And one of the questions that we left off with as we are titling
• 2:48
  this series, Rethinking Eternal Security, is talking about that
• 2:54
  third type of soil in that parable that falls amongst the
• 2:58
  thorns, where it says that it didn't produce fruit because the
• 3:03
  cares of the world and the riches of the world and the
• 3:06
  deceitfulness of those things choked it out.
• 3:11
  So you can think of that person as not walking by the spirit,
• 3:15
  but walking by the soul and their faith withered.
• 3:22
  So we kind of left off with what is that person saved?
• 3:24
  I mean, it just says they didn't produce fruit.
• 3:28
  And we don't want to think about workspace salvation.
• 3:31
  So do we have to produce fruit? That's a tricky one.
• 3:34
  I'm going to let you guys kind of wrestle with that on your
• 3:37
  own. But as a reference, right out of
• 3:42
  the book of Matthew in Chapter 7, Rod, we have another parable
• 3:47
  that might answer that. Can you go through that?
• 3:51
  Matthew 7 verse 16 through 20. By their fruit you will
• 3:59
  recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn
• 4:03
  Bush or figs from Thistle? Likewise, every good tree bears
• 4:08
  good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
• 4:14
  A good tree cannot bear good fruit, and a bad tree cannot
• 4:18
  bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear
• 4:22
  good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
• 4:27
  Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
• 4:32
  So just looking at that one scripture, it does seem to
• 4:35
  suggest that while we don't have to have a minimum amount of
• 4:41
  fruit, that would be workspace salvation.
• 4:45
  If the soil of our heart is has allowed the word of God to come
• 4:51
  in and change us and the Holy Spirit is in US and changing us,
• 4:55
  there will be a fruit as an evidence for that.
• 4:59
  And I think this parable kind of bears that out and.
• 5:03
  I'll just kinda just comment with this real quick.
• 5:06
  So in Galatians, it runs side by side with what we're reading
• 5:10
  right here in Matthew 7. And the flush is, is contrary to
• 5:18
  the spirit. They're in conflict with each
• 5:21
  other. But in Galatians it, it mentions
• 5:27
  if you are led by the spirit that you're not under the law.
• 5:30
  And the acts of the flesh are obvious.
• 5:32
  It says, you know, there's sexual immorality, impurity,
• 5:35
  debauchery, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, all these
• 5:38
  different things are listed out. And it says that you will not
• 5:43
  inherit the Kingdom of God if you're operating in these, but
• 5:45
  the fruit of the Spirit is love and joy and peace and kindness,
• 5:52
  goodness, faithfulness. And, and against those such
• 5:55
  things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus
• 5:59
  have crucified the flesh and its passions and desires, and
• 6:05
  they're living by the Spirit. And I think that there's just
• 6:07
  another good way that it, it fits together with this idea of
• 6:12
  what kind of soil are you? And are you once saved, always
• 6:16
  saved? And why do you have to work it
• 6:18
  out with fear and trembling? Why are we working out our
• 6:22
  salvation? And I just, as you zoom out, I
• 6:25
  could go on and on, but I'll pass it back to you because it
• 6:28
  just fits together and becomes more deeper and thorough as we
• 6:32
  actually take the whole counsel of God's Word.
• 6:35
  So kind of the thing that spurred this whole mini series
• 6:40
  and the thing that I felt the Holy Spirit was showing me was
• 6:47
  for all of the people that make a good argument from Scripture
• 6:51
  on eternal security. And then those that perhaps
• 6:56
  equally make a good argument that no, you, you have to
• 7:01
  maintain your faith in order to be saved and you can possibly
• 7:07
  fall away. Not like you lost your
• 7:10
  salvation, like you lost your car keys, right?
• 7:12
  Like you had a bad week of sinning and God, you know,
• 7:15
  kicked you out of the house. Not like that, but like we were
• 7:19
  explaining before about literally making that about face
• 7:25
  away from God and saying enough, I'm I'm not believing in you
• 7:30
  anymore. That sort of walking away and
• 7:35
  what was kind of an epiphany and I'm hoping it's correct.
• 7:40
  I'm hoping it's from God as I want you guys to kind of
• 7:43
  evaluate this prayerfully and look at Scripture.
• 7:47
  But I felt like God was showing me that both sides of that
• 7:53
  equation are actually correct. They're both correct, but both
• 7:59
  of them don't have the whole picture.
• 8:03
  And all of the verses that seem to suggest one side versus the
• 8:08
  other actually can work in harmony.
• 8:13
  And so as we go through this series, we're going to try to
• 8:16
  unpack that from our vantage point and kind of flesh out
• 8:23
  these ideas and let you evaluate them with us.
• 8:29
  So is there a difference between once saved, always saved and
• 8:33
  eternal security? Those terms are thrown about,
• 8:38
  conflated with one another, used interchangeably.
• 8:43
  What might the difference be? Well, in my opinion, I think
• 8:48
  that eternal security has to do with the faithfulness of God.
• 8:55
  And once saved, always saved is more about the faithfulness of
• 9:01
  the person. Now you could say the same thing
• 9:05
  for both. You could say, well,
• 9:07
  faithfulness is required for either and faithfulness of God
• 9:11
  is required for either. And that's true.
• 9:15
  But let's just make this distinction just for the sake of
• 9:18
  understanding that all the verses that seem to point to
• 9:23
  eternal security are saying are talking about how faithful God
• 9:30
  is. And in a future mini episode,
• 9:33
  we're going to unpack that and look at those verses.
• 9:37
  Once saved, always saved is a little bit of a different slant.
• 9:41
  You might say it is 95% truth with a little bit of demonic
• 9:48
  error mixed in. If you'll permit that analogy,
• 9:56
  what is the error? You could go on what people used
• 10:02
  to call Christian Twitter or X and look at people's comments
• 10:06
  who are rabid ideologues when it comes to once saved, always
• 10:12
  saved. I've seen quotes going so far as
• 10:18
  you can literally do that about face, shake your fist at God and
• 10:22
  still end up in heaven and live like the devil for the rest of
• 10:26
  your life and still end up in heaven.
• 10:30
  That's the kind of once saved, always saved that I think is a
• 10:34
  deception where if you had a genuine profession of faith and
• 10:39
  you really meant it, that somehow you're locked in, you're
• 10:44
  born again and you can't be unborn again.
• 10:49
  I think eternal security, on the other hand, talks about this,
• 10:55
  the robustness of salvation from God's side, his faithfulness.
• 11:04
  And again, we're going to unpack that further in another episode,
• 11:08
  but I'll throw it to Rod for any comments on that.

  This is the meat, you know, It's really humbling to evaluate
• 11:21
  ourselves. You know, the word says if any
• 11:22
  man think he is, he is saved and strong, Let him evaluate himself
• 11:27
  lest he fall. Kind of paraphrasing that in my
• 11:30
  own way. But this is good for all of us
• 11:34
  to really dig in and chew on some meat and to wrestle through
• 11:38
  these deep concepts and to be encouraged knowing that you're
• 11:41
  not alone. We can ask these questions
• 11:44
  together and we can seek it out in the word of truth that is
• 11:48
  settled in heaven, and we can rely on God's goodness and His
• 11:55
  grace and mercy to allow that season to come to pass for all
• 11:59
  the growth and the learning that is necessary for such deep
• 12:04

  And he told me I'm blessed. He told me he just believe in

  this time. I told him I can't change all of

  my ways. He said I got you.

  Just look at this. I looked at him and he showed me

  his ways. Then he just told me how I am
• 14:13
  this time. See he just told me I'm not in
• 14:16
  this world. He told me I come from the
• 14:17
  heavens above. I'm a new creature.

  I come from the sun, from the one and only straight from the

  heavens. You really owe me.

  I came from the sun. I was really with him.

  And heavenly places I'm sealing. Y'all can't even go that way.
