- 6:06Speaker 1: deb on last Wednesday. Rex, gotcha some technical funk here
- 6:10Speaker 1: in the studio.
- 6:11Speaker 4: People, great people, they've been around here forever. Everybody knows
- 6:15Speaker 4: for fifty years. Everybody knows what the Washington World is.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Well, I mean the old people like you still still call.
- 6:25Speaker 4: What was the news station in the morning.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I used to Washington World anymore? Rex, he just called
- 6:30Speaker 1: the world. Well, come on, I.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Don't know what was the other guy the news guy
- 6:35Speaker 4: in the morning. I used to listen to my grandmother
- 6:38Speaker 4: every morning. And the rest of the story, Oh, that's
- 6:42Speaker 4: some Jesus. What's that guy's name? Remember that every morning?
- 6:49Speaker 4: Watching that, I mean, listening to that on the radio.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Pretty wild. And now I'm the old people. I'd love
- 6:56Speaker 4: to listen to people like that all Harvey. As soon
- 7:01Speaker 4: as you said it, man, he was so amazing. Yeah,
- 7:04Speaker 4: that's the rest of this story. Wow.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Uh.
- 7:12Speaker 1: We have a wind advisory until two o'clock this afternoon. Rain, rain,
- 7:17Speaker 1: showers and off the roofs. Yeah, seventy three degrees is

- 7:28Speaker 1: with some warm but man brace yourself for the heat.
- 7:33Speaker 1: It's coming tonight. Mostly clear, about fifty five degrees. Wind's
- 7:38Speaker 1: going to be hovering around ten to fifteen miles supposed.

- 8:12Speaker 1: Well, the winds are supposed to be ten to fifteen
- 8:14Speaker 1: miles per hour tonight in Queechee. I'm guessing, and I
- 8:18Speaker 1: don't know, but I'm guessing that might be too strong
- 8:22Speaker 1: to to find balloon. I don't know.
- 8:24Speaker 4: Well, if it's ten to fifteen miles an hour down here,
- 8:27Speaker 4: once you get up into elevation, it really picks up
- 8:30Speaker 4: a little the same with the same with cold. Like
- 8:32Speaker 4: I remember being in a helicopter and it would be
- 8:35Speaker 4: we'd be in Central America, it'd be one hundred degrees,
- 8:37Speaker 4: you know, down on the ground. You get ten thousand
- 8:39Speaker 4: feet up in the air and it was cold.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Big difference. Yeah, Well, we'll see what happens. We'll see

- 12:02Speaker 4: I actually took a night off from training last night.
- 12:04Speaker 4: I was so tired. Good for you for doing that,
- 12:08Speaker 4: though I had to, my body wouldn't move. Well, good
- 12:11Speaker 4: for you.
- 12:13Speaker 1: I think that's you got to do stuff like that, man,
- 12:15Speaker 1: every now and then. And it's not just physical, it's mental.
- 12:19Speaker 1: You have to take a break every now and then.
- 12:21Speaker 1: You just do you do. I was yesterday again, I was.
- 12:28Speaker 1: I spent I don't know, probably at least an hour
- 12:31Speaker 1: and a half on the dirt bike with Lily just
- 12:35Speaker 1: oh my god, just just ripping and going and going
- 12:40Speaker 1: and go. She is relentless, man.
- 12:42Speaker 4: She just did the last time I drove a dirt bike,
- 12:44Speaker 4: I drove a Wizy for ninety and I felt like
- 12:48Speaker 4: I could jump a house. Yeah, oh yeah, wheely and
- 12:50Speaker 4: every year I like it.
- 12:52Speaker 1: No way, oh not for me. Scott Dragon came and fourth,
- 12:57Speaker 1: by the way, Becky's.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Reminded, oh was the it is that the same dragon
- 13:02Speaker 4: from back in the day. Is that the old guy
- 13:06Speaker 4: Scotty Dragon forgot? Yeah? Yeah.
- 13:10Speaker 1: But anyway, last night, once again, get off the dirt bike,
- 13:15Speaker 1: sit down, can't get up?
- 13:18Speaker 4: I mean, just god, man, just why couldn't you get up?
- 13:23Speaker 1: It was just a lactic acid build up.
- 13:30Speaker 4: You just need some breast milk. Listen.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I have to tell you that yesterday I had an
- 13:35Speaker 1: experience which you are completely unaware of I went to
- 13:40Speaker 1: the celebration of learning at the New School of Montpellier.
- 13:46Speaker 4: Oh, where Dante goes. Yes, why didn't you invite me?
- 13:51Speaker 1: It's it's why didn't Dante's They should have invited it out.
- 14:00Speaker 4: You should have had me there. That's just silly. Well,
- 14:05Speaker 4: first of all, Dante put on a demonstration.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I didn't even know Dante was part of the New
- 14:09Speaker 1: School of Montpellier.
- 14:10Speaker 4: We talk about it on Saturdays, we give shout outs
- 14:14Speaker 4: to the New School of Montpellier. I guess I just
- 14:17Speaker 4: don't pay attention to res.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Your face, I don't know. But he was there, and
- 14:25Speaker 1: you know, the last time I saw him, Dante being autistic.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Last time I saw him, he wanted nothing to do
- 14:32Speaker 1: with me.
- 14:33Speaker 4: I mean it took eight people two weeks ago to
- 14:35Speaker 4: get him to school. Yeah, dang jiu jitsu. I know, man.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Mom was telling me.
- 14:41Speaker 4: All about that.
- 14:43Speaker 1: I love that kid, Corey saying we will invite you
- 14:47Speaker 1: next year, Rex, thank you. Oh yeah for the old
- 14:51Speaker 1: famous will invite you next year. Excuse but I you know,
- 14:57Speaker 1: I gotta tell you. When I saw Dante over at.
- 15:03Speaker 4: Was he happy?
- 15:04Speaker 1: Well, when I saw him at Green Mountain Community Fitness
- 15:06Speaker 1: over the pool, wanted nothing to do. I try to
- 15:08Speaker 1: talk to him nothing.
- 15:10Speaker 4: Well, yeah, nobody's going to talk to a short, fat
- 15:12Speaker 4: little creeper in a speedo. Come here, a little boy,
- 15:15Speaker 4: Come here, a little boy. And you wonder why he
- 15:17Speaker 4: wouldn't go over there.
- 15:19Speaker 1: But yesterday I finally got to connect with him a
- 15:23Speaker 1: little bit. I shook his hand. He was hysterical. I mean,
- 15:29Speaker 1: he was like, bring his face like right up here
- 15:32Speaker 1: to me, like look at me, right in the eye.
- 15:34Speaker 1: And at one point I'm like, I hope he's not
- 15:38Speaker 1: going to pull any like Rex moves on. But I
- 15:42Speaker 1: met Corey, I met his dad, and we got a
- 15:46Speaker 1: chance to chat a little bit, and I told Dante
- 15:50Speaker 1: that he's famous that I watch every Saturday morning. What
- 15:53Speaker 1: time are you going on with him? Tomorrow morning? Nine?
- 15:55Speaker 4: Yeah, we go on right about nine thirty. We try
- 15:57Speaker 4: to make it about the same time every Saturday, around
- 15:59Speaker 4: ninth thirty.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Shifting shifting Gears got it and Sharon just reminded.
- 16:06Speaker 4: Me of this.
- 16:07Speaker 1: This little girl, Abby, who's I think five five years old,
- 16:13Speaker 1: came here. She is that I'm telling you, just the
- 16:17Speaker 1: voice alone.
- 16:18Speaker 4: Why isn't she in our kids class? I don't know. Her.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I don't know, but she is Abby White. She is
- 16:25Speaker 1: the most precious little girl. She's five years old. She
- 16:29Speaker 1: came here yesterday at the studio and she made something
- 16:31Speaker 1: for me. Look at this.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Why your daughter's gonna get jealous.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Well, you got other kids make kids doesn't have to
- 16:38Speaker 1: know about it.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Refrigerator posters.
- 16:41Speaker 1: But look at this happy fourth of July.
- 16:43Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 16:44Speaker 1: And that's her hand. This is I just love stuff
- 16:47Speaker 1: like this. And then you know, if you do the hand,
- 16:50Speaker 1: you gotta you gotta do the foot. But there it
- 16:53Speaker 1: is happy fourth of July.
- 16:54Speaker 4: She was so cute. Man, Oh my god, freaking kids.
- 16:59Speaker 4: They I love kids. So we have Steve Rich and
- 17:03Speaker 4: his wife Brooks has been coming into train. They started
- 17:05Speaker 4: training to help Chris get ready for his fight. Oh
- 17:08Speaker 4: and so they don't have a babysitter, but they bring
- 17:10Speaker 4: their kids in. And I don't know if you've seen
- 17:12Speaker 4: the pictures, but like I've got pictures of the gym.
- 17:15Speaker 4: I got one kid. He is out like a light sleeping.
- 17:18Speaker 4: It's like three cores of the way through training. He
- 17:21Speaker 4: was at the kids class, he was at the the
- 17:23Speaker 4: free kids games. He was at the beginner's class, and
- 17:26Speaker 4: he made about halfway through the advanced class and he
- 17:28Speaker 4: was out like a light in the middle of the cage.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Oh yeah, dad's serious. I'll show it's on. Uh, it's
- 17:34Speaker 4: probably on the Granite City wall. You'll see him. He
- 17:37Speaker 4: is just out. He was training so hard. He's probably
- 17:39Speaker 4: about sevent eight years old. I got videos of all
- 17:42Speaker 4: the kids and love that. Yeah, the place was packed
- 17:45Speaker 4: and we had the kids. So I tell like, I'm
- 17:48Speaker 4: already a brown belt. I've done a lot of it.
- 17:50Speaker 4: Most of the stuff that they're going over, I've gone
- 17:52Speaker 4: over it. Yes, it's it's very very helpful for tightening
- 17:56Speaker 4: stuff up. But I have enough time, Like I can't
- 17:59Speaker 4: get to I'll hang out with the kids. So that's
- 18:01Speaker 4: I get more enjoyment. I hang out with Steve's kids,
- 18:04Speaker 4: Steven Brooks kids. They bring them and we wrestle around
- 18:07Speaker 4: in the cage. We do a little bit of jiu jitsu,
- 18:09Speaker 4: but it's mainly just having fun with them.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Lily would like to ride dirt bikes with you.
- 18:17Speaker 4: I would ride a dirt by with Lily.
- 18:20Speaker 1: You can take mine, all right, and she'll be on
- 18:23Speaker 1: her eighty five perfect. I'm telling you right now. When
- 18:27Speaker 1: you see her Why don't I just.
- 18:30Speaker 4: Bring my Harley. You can, but you're probably gonna dump
- 18:34Speaker 4: it on the track. I would not dump it on
- 18:36Speaker 4: the track, trust me.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Are you sure?
- 18:37Speaker 4: No, it's a racing bike. It's built for the track,
- 18:44Speaker 4: big track. Talking about a dirt track here, Bob, don't care.
- 18:48Speaker 4: I've been riding motorcycles since Lily was a little.
- 18:51Speaker 1: If you want to live age, if you want to
- 18:53Speaker 1: come over and put your Harley on the dirt track percent,
- 18:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna just need you to sign away.
- 18:59Speaker 4: The shocks and everything that we can jump it to. Okay,
- 19:03Speaker 4: it's only like seven, But.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Dude, shifting through the gears and spitting up dirt.
- 19:08Speaker 4: She shifts, She shifts nice.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Yesterday Yesterday was the first time.
- 19:15Speaker 4: Does she think I know how to ride a motorcycle?
- 19:18Speaker 4: She knows you're not how to ride a motorcycle. Yes,
- 19:20Speaker 4: I'll keep dump with the clutch installing. Dude.
- 19:23Speaker 1: She was shifting through third and fourth and then down
- 19:26Speaker 1: to third, down a second bank. She's in the track bank,
- 19:30Speaker 1: she's out of the track, and she was.
- 19:33Speaker 4: The key is getting slowed down enough coming into the
- 19:35Speaker 4: corner so you can hold it wide open coming out
- 19:38Speaker 4: of it.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Well, that's what she was doing yesterday was I was
- 19:43Speaker 1: like Christmas morning for me. I was so happy right
- 19:46Speaker 1: alongside of her, and at some points she would shift out.
- 19:50Speaker 1: She would shift to fourth and smoke me. I couldn't
- 19:54Speaker 1: keep up.
- 19:54Speaker 4: With how big is your bike?
- 19:57Speaker 1: It's a fifty CC.
- 20:03Speaker 4: I can see your big old ass on a fifty.
- 20:07Speaker 1: This is why we hang out in the morning. This
- 20:11Speaker 1: is why we have conversations. Did you see this, this
- 20:13Speaker 1: comment from Crystal right here?
- 20:15Speaker 4: No, I don't get to see anything.
- 20:16Speaker 1: I have had a ship morning and I have needed this.
- 20:23Speaker 1: This is seriously, man. If we're connecting with people and
- 20:27Speaker 1: having fun and you know we're gonna get serious, but
- 20:31Speaker 1: we're also gonna laugh. We bring people into this studio,
- 20:37Speaker 1: into our world every morning, nine o'clock everyone. That's what
- 20:40Speaker 1: we do.
- 20:41Speaker 4: And I love can I just want to say, not
- 20:45Speaker 4: to get all sentimental on you. I love having you
- 20:49Speaker 4: on here on Friday mornings. Trying to butter me up
- 20:52Speaker 4: for second.
- 20:52Speaker 1: I'm not gluttering you for nothing.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Sexual favors you know him easy? Did you have to
- 21:02Speaker 4: tell everyone about that? But I just love having you here. Man.
- 21:08Speaker 4: It is I like coming in too, mate, Do we ever?
- 21:10Speaker 4: It's just like gee.
- 21:12Speaker 1: We don't really prep anything out. We just let it go.
- 21:15Speaker 4: Don't don't let him fool you. We have this all
- 21:17Speaker 4: scripted the night before. We practiced this for an entire week.
- 21:20Speaker 4: I've been doing my acting lessons. Yeah.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Do you think he's really training over at Granit City, MMA,
- 21:27Speaker 1: or anywhere for that matter.
- 21:29Speaker 4: He's acting lessons.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Practicing reading the script right now.
- 21:37Speaker 4: It's hard to memorize these lines. We I know it is.
- 21:42Speaker 1: We're gonna be We're gonna be talking about Woodberry here
- 21:45Speaker 1: in just a minute.
- 21:47Speaker 4: I have no clue what you're talking about. I was
- 21:48Speaker 4: out of signal all day yes day, I know, and
- 21:50Speaker 4: I was. I was actually asleep by seven.
- 21:54Speaker 1: We are going to talk about Woodberry. Listen, little Abby,
- 21:58Speaker 1: Can I just say this, probably five year old little girl,
- 22:03Speaker 1: this sweet little girl, probably shouldn't be listening on Fridays.
- 22:07Speaker 4: Probably not. You should put a parental advisory eighteen and
- 22:11Speaker 4: over for Friday.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Well, I had that. I had that disclaimer for quite
- 22:16Speaker 1: a while, for a couple of years actually, and then
- 22:18Speaker 1: at least for this show. Yes, especially you well and.
- 22:22Speaker 4: And this older language us everything man and G too,
- 22:28Speaker 4: make sure we cover it all and G yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 22:31Speaker 4: please be warned. Vermont.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Vermont State Police are investigating a body that was found
- 22:39Speaker 1: at a roadside pull off along Root fourteen in Woodbury
- 22:43Speaker 1: yesterday around three point thirty in the afternoon.
- 22:45Speaker 4: Someone just dropped dumped it off.
- 22:47Speaker 1: This was a story that just popped hard. I mean
- 22:51Speaker 1: because there were police everywhere. There was an abandoned white
- 22:57Speaker 1: Volvo at the scene that the crime unit and crime
- 23:02Speaker 1: teams were looking into and investigating to learn more about.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Drones were deployed looking for evidence. The woman's body was
- 23:11Speaker 1: taken to the medical examiner for an autopsy and identification.
- 23:15Speaker 1: No one is in custody. Police are seeking information. They
- 23:18Speaker 1: ask you to contact the Berlin Barracks.
- 23:21Speaker 4: You know they're using drones now for raids.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Or do an anonymous tip online. I'm not surprised.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:28Speaker 2: No.
- 23:28Speaker 4: If you see a drone fly into a living room,
- 23:30Speaker 4: there's a flash bank not far behind it. They're using
- 23:33Speaker 4: that now because it tapes the whole thing. It's really
- 23:36Speaker 4: good tactic because you can see, I mean the military
- 23:38Speaker 4: has been using it. You fly them in first, you
- 23:40Speaker 4: can see where all you're armed and true, you can
- 23:41Speaker 4: see where everybody is. You're not walking in blind trying
- 23:45Speaker 4: to clear rooms blindly. You have an idea because you
- 23:48Speaker 4: can see them.
- 23:49Speaker 1: So you're saying, if there's a drone, there's a flash
- 23:52Speaker 1: bank coming up. For if there's a drone that flies
- 23:55Speaker 1: into my living room.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Yeah, there'll be a flash bank followed by a flash bang,
- 23:59Speaker 4: which could happened. That could happen at my house. You
- 24:02Speaker 4: never know, you don't. I mean you got cars driving
- 24:05Speaker 4: into your house. You know what's wild is because we
- 24:08Speaker 4: were on our way down to watch Chris's fight this
- 24:10Speaker 4: weekend and we got to New Hampshire and I'm not
- 24:12Speaker 4: gonna mention any names, but she's a local girl here
- 24:14Speaker 4: in Berry and don't even know how the fuck, but
- 24:21Speaker 4: I happen to be driving by and I looked at
- 24:23Speaker 4: my wife and I see this lady getting roughed up,
- 24:26Speaker 4: like on the side of the road in this rest area.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Where was this New Hampshire. I was like, that's so
- 24:33Speaker 4: and so in her ex husband.
- 24:35Speaker 1: You recognized her?
- 24:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I was like why, Like he was like trying
- 24:38Speaker 4: to wrestle her from and so I sent her a message.
- 24:41Speaker 4: I was like, yo, are you okay? I was like,
- 24:44Speaker 4: is that you on the side of the road Because
- 24:46Speaker 4: I was trying to find a way to turn around.
- 24:48Speaker 4: And I don't like that dude anyway, so I'd love
- 24:52Speaker 4: for him to try to rough me up. Oh So
- 24:55Speaker 4: I'm not going to get into that part of it,
- 24:57Speaker 4: but I you know, I tried to turn around. I
- 24:58Speaker 4: sent her a message. She's like, no, we're we're down here.
- 25:02Speaker 4: I was like, I knew that was you. It's just
- 25:04Speaker 4: wild to see that situation, you know, that many miles
- 25:07Speaker 4: away from home, and the balls on some people. I
- 25:11Speaker 4: couldn't imagine being a man out in public and put
- 25:14Speaker 4: my hands on a woman these days, you know. I
- 25:17Speaker 4: just like, how come I was the only one trying
- 25:20Speaker 4: to stop and beat the shit out of that guy?
- 25:25Speaker 4: What did you say to him? Nothing? He didn't. We
- 25:28Speaker 4: they left by the time we figured out how to
- 25:30Speaker 4: get back to that rest are, because we were already
- 25:32Speaker 4: on our way by and we were all the way
- 25:34Speaker 4: down in New Hampshire, so heading off to the next exit.
- 25:37Speaker 4: She had responded to us that she was okay.
- 25:39Speaker 1: So front page of the Time circus yesteryear, eyes so
- 25:48Speaker 1: big because and I'll tell you why. I'll tell you exactly.
- 25:52Speaker 1: I don't read the Times.
- 25:53Speaker 4: Agus I'll tell you why they don't cover professional sports.
- 25:57Speaker 1: The reason why my eyes are so big is because
- 26:02Speaker 1: I forgot my optical expressions glasses.
- 26:09Speaker 4: Me too, Man, I need to go back over there already.
- 26:12Speaker 4: I broke my glasses the first week.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Eye on them, my emergency pair.
- 26:18Speaker 4: There you go. Hey, those those are pretty cool though.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Okay, but these I have to come in a little closer.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Okay.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Front page of the Times argus yesterday about the conduct
- 26:31Speaker 1: ordinance in Barrie.
- 26:33Speaker 4: What so I'm not going to be allowed in Berry anymore?
- 26:40Speaker 1: A radically rewritten ordinance still aimed at curbing bad behaviors
- 26:45Speaker 1: in Barry drew mixed reviews during another protracted public hearing
- 26:49Speaker 1: on Tuesday night. Four weeks after narrowly approving the first
- 26:55Speaker 1: reading of a community conduct ordinance that was largely borrowed
- 26:59Speaker 1: from Brattleborough, City councilors restarted the process, this time using
- 27:05Speaker 1: a Burlington ordinance. City Manager Nicholas Starelli Castro, who's been
- 27:11Speaker 1: on the air several times talking about it, described this
- 27:15Speaker 1: as a template. He said the revised ordinance has been
- 27:20Speaker 1: vetted by the city attorney and he believed addressed some
- 27:24Speaker 1: of the objections raised during last month's public hearing. While
- 27:31Speaker 1: responding Will while responding to a lingering community concern involving
- 27:36Speaker 1: a spike in troubling behaviors in some public spaces. If adopted,
- 27:42Speaker 1: the proposed ordinance would enable authorized city officials and um
- 27:48Speaker 1: quoting here papers quoting to issue a notice against trespass
- 27:54Speaker 1: and enforce that notice against an individual whose behavior is dangerous, illegal,
- 28:02Speaker 1: or unreasonably disruptive, while recognizing the existing rights of individuals
- 28:10Speaker 1: to engage in constitutionally protected activities.
- 28:14Speaker 4: Right, So if they pull out there, if they pull
- 28:16Speaker 4: out their phone, they say, hey, I'm I'm recording. You
- 28:19Speaker 4: cannot throw me away. So it becomes a gray area.
- 28:23Speaker 4: It's a huge gray are. So yeah, I mean, good
- 28:26Speaker 4: for the city to try to address something. And they're
- 28:28Speaker 4: trying to do something, you know what I mean. I mean,
- 28:30Speaker 4: people are upset, people are pissed, So how but how
- 28:34Speaker 4: do you address they're trying something? You can't you can't
- 28:38Speaker 4: knock them for not trying something. But yeah, how do
- 28:41Speaker 4: you trespass somebody out of the city of Barrier. I've
- 28:46Speaker 4: never that would be a tough one. Like, I don't
- 28:49Speaker 4: understand how you would trespass somebody from the public. That
- 28:52Speaker 4: would be tough because I watched those audits, the the
- 28:55Speaker 4: First Amendment audit. Guys. Yeah, and yeah, dude, they like
- 28:59Speaker 4: they're suing cities left and right for them trying to
- 29:02Speaker 4: trespass amount of federal buildings, public buildings. It's against the law.
- 29:08Speaker 4: So I don't know. I mean, but they we have
- 29:10Speaker 4: a city attorney, we have all that. So and if
- 29:13Speaker 4: the voters want it, then then it is what it is. Man. Yeah,
- 29:18Speaker 4: but kudos to the city for trying to do something
- 29:20Speaker 4: to actually address a real life problem. That's a problem
- 29:24Speaker 4: right now, you know, instead of worrying about uh, waving
- 29:29Speaker 4: the big flag in the middle of town. You know,
- 29:32Speaker 4: this is a real issue. This is something real where
- 29:36Speaker 4: people that like, it's not a it's not a right
- 29:39Speaker 4: or left issue. It's everybody sick of it. Everybody thinks
- 29:42Speaker 4: that it needs to be addressed. So kudas to them.
- 29:44Speaker 4: And I'm sure they'll figure out an ordnance. Nicholas is
- 29:48Speaker 4: a smart guy. Yes, yes, they'll they'll figure it out.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Uh, it's it's just here and the language, much of
- 29:55Speaker 1: which has been adopted from Burlington and bradle Borough in
- 29:59Speaker 1: this c the ordinance, but some of it says public
- 30:03Speaker 1: urination and defecation how is that not already?
- 30:07Speaker 4: Like, if you're shitting on the sidewalk, how are you
- 30:09Speaker 4: not arrested? Come on, I agree.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Did you see that the picture of the guy in
- 30:16Speaker 1: Berry City Park who was dude?
- 30:18Speaker 4: I got a video of Montpellier. So my buddy works
- 30:21Speaker 4: for Montpellier and I used to work for Montpelier. He
- 30:24Speaker 4: sent me a video of two people having sex on
- 30:27Speaker 4: the lawn of Shaws at noon, two homeless people. They
- 30:34Speaker 4: do it right out in the open, they do it
- 30:36Speaker 4: right behind. Uh what is it that the bull showed me? Nope,
- 30:42Speaker 4: I will when we get off this podcast, I'll show
- 30:45Speaker 4: you the video. He was in a he was in
- 30:47Speaker 4: a he was in a city truck. He was like,
- 30:49Speaker 4: you're not gonna fucking believe this, Judy, I have watched
- 30:57Speaker 4: she's referring to the counselors.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:00Speaker 4: Yeah, to me, I don't really have an opinion. I
- 31:04Speaker 4: don't live in the city. I work in the city,
- 31:06Speaker 4: but I'm not a voter. So that's you know, how
- 31:10Speaker 4: the city wants to handle it, that's on them. But
- 31:13Speaker 4: kudos to the city for being proactive. I actually I
- 31:16Speaker 4: don't know, man. They've done a lot of things to
- 31:18Speaker 4: be proactive. For the community. So I don't know. I
- 31:23Speaker 4: think they're trying and they're doing what they can.
- 31:27Speaker 1: No, surely just said it. Forty years ago people wouldn't
- 31:31Speaker 1: get away with this kind of shit.
- 31:33Speaker 4: So forty years ago, believe it or not. I used
- 31:36Speaker 4: to walk these streets up and down the streets that
- 31:37Speaker 4: forty years ago. Forty years ago, you could not walk
- 31:40Speaker 4: these streets. You would get beat up. There was always fights.
- 31:45Speaker 4: There was drugs, there was cigarettes. If you saw people
- 31:48Speaker 4: on the sidewalk, you would cross the street and go
- 31:51Speaker 4: to the other side. When I was a kid, you
- 31:53Speaker 4: were not allowed. We used to sneak down here to
- 31:55Speaker 4: this city. This city was bad twilight zone right up
- 31:58Speaker 4: the road. People were getting in there where the stripper
- 32:01Speaker 4: club is. That used to be an arcade and I've
- 32:04Speaker 4: seen people get stabbed in there as a little kid.
- 32:06Speaker 4: The city's been cleaned up a lot from when I
- 32:09Speaker 4: was a kid coming through here. My dad got stabbed
- 32:11Speaker 4: over on the railroad tracks running preparing for a PT test.
- 32:18Speaker 4: He was a judo instructor. Yeah, I guess, I don't know.
- 32:22Speaker 4: And that's the thing is, we now have generations of
- 32:24Speaker 4: people coming up through that didn't see how we grew
- 32:27Speaker 4: up here, so they just automatically assume it's super bad
- 32:31Speaker 4: right now. To me, it's pretty good shape.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Some shithead just said, you guys remember forty years ago.
- 32:40Speaker 4: Parts of it, man, most of the trauma. My brain
- 32:43Speaker 4: is blocked out.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Some dude named Ed Collins wrote that it surely says
- 32:54Speaker 1: I felt totally safe years ago. Sorry, Rex, I've heard
- 32:57Speaker 1: that many times.
- 32:59Speaker 4: Me. Okay, well me, I used to walk these streets.
- 33:03Speaker 4: I knew all the hoodlums. That was one of them.
- 33:07Speaker 1: You know what? I want to say something to Judy
- 33:10Speaker 1: Coughing here, who just asked, watch your city council meeting
- 33:15Speaker 1: lots of your constely. I watched, and I also posted
- 33:22Speaker 1: on Facebook. Will I posted on Facebook on Tuesday, right
- 33:28Speaker 1: around six o'clock, who's going to be watching the city
- 33:32Speaker 1: council meeting tonight?
- 33:33Speaker 4: Talk about this? I didn't get one response. No, not.
- 33:39Speaker 4: We like to complain, We don't want to be proactive.
- 33:43Speaker 4: Facebook gives us that that opportunity to be like huge complainers.
- 33:47Speaker 4: We can we can no longer. We don't have to
- 33:50Speaker 4: be active in any way, shape or form. We just
- 33:52Speaker 4: bitch about it. Have you?
- 33:55Speaker 1: And I I gotta tell you, man, some of the
- 33:58Speaker 1: stuff that I've been seeing on the berry from aunt
- 34:00Speaker 1: resident chat.
- 34:03Speaker 4: Holy shit, man, I don't know, man, you know me.
- 34:06Speaker 4: I already got a new in the nine to one
- 34:08Speaker 4: one chat.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Did you see the stuff about about Eric Townsend and
- 34:13Speaker 1: Jessica Rollins their house?
- 34:16Speaker 3: No?
- 34:17Speaker 1: What Eric, now, dude, it's it's on the berry from
- 34:20Speaker 1: ant resident chat. And this last night I was reading
- 34:25Speaker 1: all the comments about this apparently this this guy who's
- 34:28Speaker 1: a taxi driver who's driving around people that are that
- 34:32Speaker 1: are you know, scoring drug deals presumably allegedly, And man,
- 34:39Speaker 1: there's there's some hot stuff. It's really polarizing. I mean,
- 34:43Speaker 1: people are just either one way or the other about this,
- 34:47Speaker 1: and it's pretty contentious stuff that I'm I'm seeing and
- 34:54Speaker 1: reading in our community. And honestly, regardless of what it is,
- 35:02Speaker 1: this is when all the bullies come out. It kind
- 35:03Speaker 1: of bums me out, man.
- 35:05Speaker 4: This is when the bullies come out. This is when
- 35:07Speaker 4: this is the Internet makes them so common.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Now people passed out in cars, you know, listen, it's
- 35:15Speaker 1: fucking sad. I'll tell you right now that they just.
- 35:19Speaker 4: Went out and got a fucking job and'd be all right.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Then there are plenty I'm sure that there are people
- 35:31Speaker 1: that pass out in cars for various reasons, and I'm sure.
- 35:36Speaker 4: The majority of them are due to the heroine, not
- 35:39Speaker 4: off that.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, I listen. I'm not trying to deny
- 35:43Speaker 1: your I'm sure that plenty of it is drug related. Okay,
- 35:49Speaker 1: not just in Barryment, but it's like everywhere, everywhere.
- 35:53Speaker 4: Every major city in the United States, every suburb in
- 35:57Speaker 4: the United States. I know, we are not anything different.
- 36:01Speaker 4: This is not like anywhere different than anywhere, but because
- 36:05Speaker 4: we live. Look at Ohio. Do you ever see the
- 36:08Speaker 4: narcan they going through in one night in Ohio, the
- 36:11Speaker 4: Bible Belt of the United States. Have you ever been
- 36:15Speaker 4: to Ohio? Drive through There's they have freaking barns painted
- 36:19Speaker 4: with Jesus on them and ship and they're they're they're
- 36:23Speaker 4: narcanning people sometimes two and three times in one night
- 36:27Speaker 4: in Ohio. We are not anything different. This is the
- 36:31Speaker 4: ship that our politicians should be fighting. This is what
- 36:34Speaker 4: our kids are dying for. My kids don't need to
- 36:37Speaker 4: go to Iran to die. They they need to they
- 36:40Speaker 4: need help here in the United States. Right So anyway,
- 36:46Speaker 4: let's move on. I don't want to talk about politics.
- 36:48Speaker 4: I don't. I've been like away from all that ship
- 36:51Speaker 4: kind of yeah, and it's it's, uh.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Well, there is something that I want to play. I
- 36:55Speaker 1: want to play for you. I don't know if it's
- 36:57Speaker 1: going to come out over for ops here, but I'm
- 37:02Speaker 1: gonna try.
- 37:03Speaker 4: This whole bullshit of the WMDs again in Iran, dude
- 37:06Speaker 4: net and Yahoo's been saying this shit since nineteen ninety five.
- 37:10Speaker 4: There are two weeks away from a nuclear weapon. Fuck
- 37:14Speaker 4: two two weeks, two weeks. We always two weeks away.
- 37:18Speaker 4: He's been saying that since nineteen ninety five when he
- 37:21Speaker 4: had hair. I used to support Israel, but hey man,
- 37:25Speaker 4: you can't just continually bomb all the countries around you
- 37:28Speaker 4: and then say why they keep producting me stall.
- 37:31Speaker 1: You just said you didn't want to get political.
- 37:34Speaker 4: I know it drives me nuts because I don't want
- 37:36Speaker 4: my kids and my grandkids to go to another fucking
- 37:38Speaker 4: war in the Middle East. Our family paid a lot
- 37:41Speaker 4: for that war, and I'm just I'm not willing to
- 37:43Speaker 4: play in the sequel. And there they're saying the same
- 37:47Speaker 4: exact shit that they said during the first Iraq War.
- 37:51Speaker 1: You think they're gonna uh strike a deal here?
- 37:55Speaker 4: No, no, Okay, nope, because if they strike a deal,
- 37:59Speaker 4: that means nat Naho has to get back to his
- 38:02Speaker 4: criminal cases for bribery. What was a breach of trust
- 38:09Speaker 4: for the public. It's almost like a treason over there.
- 38:14Speaker 1: You know, the UH Foreign Minister is meeting up in Geneva.
- 38:20Speaker 1: You know about this too, Yeah, but why didn't we Many, Germany, France, UK,
- 38:24Speaker 1: They're all there and we're all trying to figure this out.
- 38:30Speaker 4: Except us. We refuse to sign the diploma. Ask you
- 38:35Speaker 4: know why two weeks?
- 38:36Speaker 2: Why?
- 38:37Speaker 4: What's what's the weeks? Because for some reason, if people
- 38:42Speaker 4: believe that there's going to be a nuclear weapon in
- 38:44Speaker 4: two weeks, they don't care that you're bombing the fuck
- 38:47Speaker 4: out of another country and their civilian population and everything else.
- 38:51Speaker 4: Because Israel is not using smart bombs to drop in
- 38:53Speaker 4: Iran right now, they're using the dumb bombs. And we've
- 38:57Speaker 4: given them one hundred and eighty billion dollars. Did you
- 38:59Speaker 4: know that we give Israel three point eight billion dollars
- 39:03Speaker 4: a year. They have free healthcare and free college and
- 39:06Speaker 4: we don't. But we give them fucking four billion dollars
- 39:09Speaker 4: a year. We don't get none of that they do.
- 39:14Speaker 4: What are we I just don't. I think they have
- 39:20Speaker 4: enough money and resources defend themselves. Not a fucking thing
- 39:26Speaker 4: to do with us.
- 39:28Speaker 1: I'm just, I'm just I gotta tell you, man, the
- 39:34Speaker 1: other the other night, when this was all unraffling and
- 39:39Speaker 1: bombs are flying everywhere.
- 39:42Speaker 4: Makes me giggle every fucking time, like because there's so
- 39:46Speaker 4: many people that are young that haven't watched this since
- 39:49Speaker 4: nineteen I mean, I was coming back from what do
- 39:54Speaker 4: you what do you mean? It makes you kick? What
- 39:55Speaker 4: do you mean? Because it's the same wardrome that they
- 39:59Speaker 4: have beaten for the past decade. For the since I've
- 40:03Speaker 4: been alive, it's been the same drum boom boom. Oh.
- 40:08Speaker 4: There was no weapons. There's no good targets in Afghanistan.
- 40:11Speaker 4: We have to find another country that has more targets. Oh,
- 40:15Speaker 4: Iraq has weapons of mass destruction. Let's head over there.
- 40:19Speaker 4: Let's bomb Syria, Let's bomb somebody else. Let's send drones
- 40:23Speaker 4: into Africa, like people say that we have we there
- 40:27Speaker 4: was no wars the last time we were everywhere we were,
- 40:31Speaker 4: we had wars in Pakistan, Syria, Africa, Iraq. We were
- 40:36Speaker 4: doing strikes in Iran, Yemen. We're everywhere. We're in. That's
- 40:43Speaker 4: why we're hated.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Are you seeing what's going on in in eastern DRC?
- 40:48Speaker 4: Nope? Rwanda, Oh no, not in another country.
- 40:54Speaker 1: We've agreen this week on a draft agreement to end
- 40:58Speaker 1: all the fighting over there.
- 40:59Speaker 4: So nice.
- 41:00Speaker 1: There's lots of uh deals, if you will, that are
- 41:06Speaker 1: being made that aren't really making the headlines as much
- 41:11Speaker 1: as they they should.
- 41:14Speaker 4: This is you get the head to you get the headline.
- 41:17Speaker 4: You get the headlines they want you.
- 41:18Speaker 1: I don't know, man, it doesn't set right with me.
- 41:21Speaker 1: And you know I've said this before. If I you know,
- 41:25Speaker 1: I know.
- 41:26Speaker 4: But what I don't understand is our intelligence. The director
- 41:29Speaker 4: of our intelligence said they are nowhere close to a
- 41:33Speaker 4: nuclear program of having a nuclear weapon. And then our
- 41:37Speaker 4: president comes out and goes, well she's a fucking idiot
- 41:39Speaker 4: and doesn't know what she's talking about. Well, why is
- 41:41Speaker 4: she the head of our intelligence? She is the person
- 41:45Speaker 4: advising you telling you that there are no nuclear weapons.
- 41:48Speaker 4: Remember callon Colin Powell. He told you there was no
- 41:51Speaker 4: nuclear weapons and you said, no, no, there is. Now
- 41:53Speaker 4: go convince that you win that there is. You know,
- 41:56Speaker 4: it's the same It's the same fucking story, same players,
- 42:01Speaker 4: same bullshit.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Iran's getting getting No, they used to be our allies.
- 42:10Speaker 1: They just they just hit a hospital.
- 42:12Speaker 4: Yeah, of course they didn't. Nobody. Well, Dan Yahoo is
- 42:16Speaker 4: charged with war crimes. There's a there's an actual warrants
- 42:19Speaker 4: for his arrest right now for him starving the people
- 42:22Speaker 4: of Gaza for war crimes that he was doing there. Like,
- 42:26Speaker 4: so we are one percent if they If we don't
- 42:29Speaker 4: like these people, we are pushing for sanctions and everything
- 42:32Speaker 4: else when they commit war crimes. But when Israel does it,
- 42:35Speaker 4: we don't push for any of that. We're like, well
- 42:38Speaker 4: it's Israel, they could do that. They're allowed to do
- 42:40Speaker 4: war crimes and we'll back them no matter what.
- 42:44Speaker 1: I want to get back to uh to Barry. Yeah, yeah,
- 42:47Speaker 1: I saw something of the Barry Vermont resident chat. Yeah
- 42:54Speaker 1: from Nick Richardson. Okay, I'm guessing you you didn't. You
- 43:01Speaker 1: didn't see this, but I want to. I want to
- 43:03Speaker 1: try to play it. It's short, but are you ready
- 43:07Speaker 1: for this?
- 43:07Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 43:08Speaker 1: Okay, look, have a look at your monitor. Check this out?
- 43:14Speaker 5: Help you brow you on your head kicked in or what?
- 43:17Speaker 4: Mike? Thank you're kads? My car?
- 43:19Speaker 3: What doing?
- 43:23Speaker 6: Huh?
- 43:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll show you my Buddy's car.
- 43:30Speaker 6: Ground.
- 43:30Speaker 5: That's my car. Your as to go with, Mike, I
- 43:34Speaker 5: know you, that's my car.
- 43:44Speaker 4: Mhm hm.
- 43:48Speaker 1: And there's uh, there's quite a bit of quite a
- 43:53Speaker 1: bit of praise for for Nick for basically h sticking
- 44:00Speaker 1: up for his ship, sticking up for his ship.
- 44:04Speaker 4: Yeah. I had to stick up for myself the other day.
- 44:07Speaker 1: This is the other one. This is the one that
- 44:11Speaker 1: if you look at your monitor you'll see it every
- 44:14Speaker 1: day lately. This vehicle sits there and they do drugs.
- 44:17Speaker 1: I don't care what people do, but it's at the
- 44:19Speaker 1: playground on River Street. Yesterday they two girls and one
- 44:24Speaker 1: guy were arguing and carrying on. They made a few
- 44:27Speaker 1: trips up and down River Street to the camper, then
- 44:30Speaker 1: parked again. Hope no kids go to use the playground.
- 44:35Speaker 4: It sad.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Do you see the You see the picture right there?
- 44:39Speaker 4: Yep? This is uh.
- 44:42Speaker 1: This is the kind of stuff man, that that I'm
- 44:45Speaker 1: talking about. And it's it really addiction.
- 44:47Speaker 4: It's the same thing we've been talking about since I
- 44:50Speaker 4: was a kid. My mom was addicted to pills. I mean,
- 44:54Speaker 4: what's changing. Are we winning the war? No, are like
- 44:59Speaker 4: tougher laws helping us win the war? Killing putting the
- 45:03Speaker 4: people away forever? Is that winning the war? US sending
- 45:07Speaker 4: troops to Central America to chase around this drug dealer
- 45:11Speaker 4: but not that drug dealer? Is that winning the war?
- 45:14Speaker 1: It's like all over Barry, Vermont resident chat. Here's another one. Yeah,
- 45:19Speaker 1: maybe it's time to start sharing the photos of the
- 45:21Speaker 1: vehicles dealing.
- 45:22Speaker 4: On the streets that we shame them. Why not?
- 45:25Speaker 1: I would there it is again, right there, I would
- 45:29Speaker 1: show I'm.
- 45:29Speaker 4: Sure that guy. Do you remember that guy? He had
- 45:31Speaker 4: that problem with the prostitutes around his house, so he
- 45:33Speaker 4: would go out to the car with a videotape.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Yeah remember that dude, Yes, yeah, yes, absolutely. Here's here's
- 45:39Speaker 1: the one that I was talking about earlier. Gotta love
- 45:41Speaker 1: the drug dealers in Barry taxi dropping off someone to
- 45:45Speaker 1: get their fixed. The court system really sucks. What do
- 45:48Speaker 1: you job, he's a taxi driver, what do you use?
- 45:51Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 45:52Speaker 4: Every taxi driver in every major city will bring you
- 45:55Speaker 4: to buy drugs. They know where they are. John Ryan
- 46:01Speaker 4: talks about it on his podcast.
- 46:03Speaker 1: You see the you see the picture there you monitor?
- 46:06Speaker 4: Uh.
- 46:07Speaker 1: The comments here are pretty intense. Chris Emmons saying nothing
- 46:13Speaker 1: is done about this because the state has given federal
- 46:17Speaker 1: grant money, oh my god.
- 46:18Speaker 4: To help. Everything is a fucking conspira.
- 46:22Speaker 1: The more we have on the street, the more money
- 46:24Speaker 1: they get.
- 46:26Speaker 4: Jail.
- 46:27Speaker 1: The dealers lose, the addicts lose, the addicts lose free money.
- 46:30Speaker 4: Okay, so before the money. We haven't been winning the
- 46:33Speaker 4: war since the fucking nineties, since the eighties. So but
- 46:37Speaker 4: now all of a sudden, it's a political conspirat. It isn't. Man,
- 46:42Speaker 4: what do you do?
- 46:44Speaker 3: What?
- 46:44Speaker 4: Like? Okay, so an addict, you're gonna throw them in
- 46:47Speaker 4: jail for life because they're an addict. They did a
- 46:50Speaker 4: petty crime. You're gonna throw them in jail for life.
- 46:52Speaker 4: What what are you gonna do? Like, it's stupid start.
- 46:56Speaker 4: I don't know, man, I'm not even gonna get into it.
- 46:58Speaker 4: But no, everything is a conspiracy. It's an addiction, it's
- 47:05Speaker 4: it's a medical problem. It's a medical issue, and it
- 47:10Speaker 4: takes hospitalization, treatments, therapy to take care all that shit
- 47:17Speaker 4: you have. And hey, man, but don't don't get me wrong,
- 47:20Speaker 4: there are there are exceptions to every rule. You'll have
- 47:23Speaker 4: that one guy that did it, I fucking did it
- 47:25Speaker 4: cold turkey.
- 47:26Speaker 3: Fuck.
- 47:27Speaker 4: Yeah, you're a fucking stud. Good for you, man, that's awesome,
- 47:31Speaker 4: But you're not the norm. That's not I watched my
- 47:35Speaker 4: mom be pill sick. I watched my mom shit herself
- 47:38Speaker 4: puke all over the fucking place. Nah, you're good for you, man,
- 47:43Speaker 4: You're a fucking stud. Not everybody's has the has it
- 47:47Speaker 4: in them to win a Congressional Medal of Honor, but
- 47:50Speaker 4: there's the select few that do. And you should be
- 47:53Speaker 4: proud that you were able to do that cold turkey. Yeah,
- 47:57Speaker 4: you know, but most people can't.
- 47:59Speaker 1: I said to to g yesterday because he was talking
- 48:01Speaker 1: about Chuck was in here too about smoking.
- 48:05Speaker 4: Yeah, that was fucking super hard for me, man. I
- 48:07Speaker 4: quit cocaine easier than it was the well Chuck cigarette.
- 48:12Speaker 1: Chuck, Chuck's been smoking for my god, thousands of years,
- 48:17Speaker 1: and he's got the patch and he's done that. He's
- 48:19Speaker 1: trying and he's he's struggling with it, man, and he's
- 48:23Speaker 1: he's gone a couple of months at a time, uh,
- 48:26Speaker 1: smoke free. And then he was talking yesterday on the
- 48:29Speaker 1: air about how he went out one night to Gusto's,
- 48:31Speaker 1: had a couple of drinks. Bang. He's like, I can
- 48:35Speaker 1: show you that I can quit. He's watch I'm going
- 48:38Speaker 1: to smoke one cigarette and then I'm going to prove
- 48:40Speaker 1: to you that I can quit. And he smoked that
- 48:43Speaker 1: one cigarette and bought and he's been smoking for back
- 48:48Speaker 1: smoking for years since then. Chuck's one of my best friends.
- 48:51Speaker 1: I love the guy. I would do anything and.
- 48:54Speaker 4: That whether it's the cigarette addiction or a drug addict, it's.
- 48:59Speaker 1: But she was in here sitting right next to him
- 49:01Speaker 1: on the couch saying that that that he had been
- 49:05Speaker 1: smoking for years and just decided one I.
- 49:08Speaker 4: Could not quit, that he was going to stop. I
- 49:10Speaker 4: tried everything. I tried the gum, I tried the nicotine patches.
- 49:14Speaker 4: I tried that medicine that you would take and it
- 49:17Speaker 4: would make it so when you smoked a cigarette it
- 49:18Speaker 4: tastes like a penny bro I tried all of that.
- 49:22Speaker 4: I could not. It was a roller coaster. I'd quit
- 49:24Speaker 4: for a couple of days. I'm quit all the way
- 49:26Speaker 4: up to a month, and then and then one day
- 49:28Speaker 4: I was like, no, I'm done. I got rid of
- 49:31Speaker 4: all the ash trays, I got rid of everything in
- 49:34Speaker 4: my house that.
- 49:35Speaker 1: So you were one of these people that was able
- 49:38Speaker 1: to go cold turkey.
- 49:39Speaker 4: I tried everything before that and could not quit with it.
- 49:43Speaker 4: It was it did. I ended up. I was running
- 49:46Speaker 4: out of my medicine and I was like, I took
- 49:50Speaker 4: my last pill or whatever, and I was like, oh.
- 49:52Speaker 4: And the next day I woke up, I was like,
- 49:53Speaker 4: that's it. I'm quitting. Today today is I'm not starting
- 49:57Speaker 4: anything more. But and I had to change.
- 49:59Speaker 1: But point is that some people can do that. Some
- 50:01Speaker 1: people can't write ye, And if you can't, you need help.
- 50:07Speaker 1: You need help, and give yourself a goddamn break. And
- 50:10Speaker 1: why don't be hard on you give people that are
- 50:13Speaker 1: trying to get help.
- 50:15Speaker 4: Yeah, I do not my.
- 50:17Speaker 1: I mean BRUMMERD says that he quit forty five years ago.
- 50:21Speaker 4: And yeah, I'm probably close to thirty years now and
- 50:25Speaker 4: I quit rex. Do you still crave a cigarette? Not
- 50:28Speaker 4: at all, not even one bit.
- 50:29Speaker 1: Some people do even though they've been smoke free for years.
- 50:34Speaker 4: No, I don't even get an urge. I don't. Wow.
- 50:36Speaker 4: It actually disgusts me to the smell of it at
- 50:39Speaker 4: this point. Oh.
- 50:40Speaker 1: Interesting, And then there's Chuck who says he can't. You
- 50:43Speaker 1: can't even smell it, doesn't even smell the cigarette smoke.
- 50:48Speaker 4: I remember them smoking cigarettes with your coffee in the morning.
- 50:51Speaker 4: That was like the best combination of caffeine and nicotine.
- 50:55Speaker 1: Yeah right, that's how you How much? How much water
- 50:58Speaker 1: are you drinking these days?
- 50:59Speaker 4: But I'll probably do close to two gallons today? What what? What? What?
- 51:04Speaker 7: What?
- 51:04Speaker 1: What's going on here? What actually start in the prostate?
- 51:08Speaker 1: What's what's happening?
- 51:09Speaker 4: I'm in fight camp, all right, talk to me?
- 51:11Speaker 1: What's happening?
- 51:12Speaker 4: Uh?
- 51:13Speaker 1: July twenty fifth, July.
- 51:15Speaker 4: Twenty fifth, mass So most everybody knows my former champ,
- 51:21Speaker 4: Keegan Hornstraw, he was struck with cancer the night that
- 51:24Speaker 4: he lost his title. The very next day he found
- 51:27Speaker 4: out that he had testicular cancer. He fought that radiation,
- 51:31Speaker 4: chemo surgeries was good for almost a couple of years,
- 51:36Speaker 4: and then all came back, came back as a lung
- 51:39Speaker 4: cancer and it's it was spotted all over as long,
- 51:42Speaker 4: so they couldn't do it do surgeries. Hornstra Oh fuck,
- 51:46Speaker 4: he's young man, thirties. Yeah, he's in his thirties. Okay,
- 51:50Speaker 4: he's young. His son's young. They're a young family. So
- 51:55Speaker 4: one of the managers kt A Fighting kt A Jim
- 51:59Speaker 4: down there. She's all so a fight manager. They set
- 52:01Speaker 4: up a charity kickboxing. So there's a bunch of us
- 52:06Speaker 4: going down. If you want to donate money, you can
- 52:08Speaker 4: donate money. If you want to join, it's uh, you
- 52:11Speaker 4: can fight. I'm actually fighting a professional fighter, Mike Sosa.
- 52:15Speaker 4: Mike Sosa fought Chris Perrault for his professional debut. It
- 52:20Speaker 4: should be a good time. I'm training pretty hard for
- 52:22Speaker 4: it because Mike's a super tough guy, and I don't
- 52:25Speaker 4: want to I don't want to embarrass myself and I
- 52:27Speaker 4: don't want to get knocked out within ten seconds of
- 52:30Speaker 4: the fight.
- 52:31Speaker 1: So I'm just asking a serious question. Yeah, do you
- 52:38Speaker 1: do you believe that there's a possibility that you could win?
- 52:43Speaker 4: It's an exhibition fight, so there's no real winner or
- 52:46Speaker 4: loser right there. But uh understand, Yeah, I'm so. Let
- 52:50Speaker 4: me put it in Let's put this in perspective. Please.
- 52:53Speaker 4: I'm a fifty I'm going to be fifty two years old.
- 52:56Speaker 4: Mike So's is a professional fighter. I am one percent
- 53:00Speaker 4: not delusional in this in any way, shape or form.
- 53:03Speaker 4: Same the same way like if somebody asked me, could
- 53:06Speaker 4: you beat Michael Jordan in a basketball game? Nope? So
- 53:10Speaker 4: am I delusional about fighting with Mike Soza. No, I'm
- 53:14Speaker 4: just hoping that I can put on a good enough
- 53:16Speaker 4: show for the for the fans, and I mean, everybody
- 53:21Speaker 4: has a puncher's chance, but he's a trained fighter. I'm
- 53:24Speaker 4: going to do the most amount of training as I
- 53:26Speaker 4: can to prepare for this. But no, I've been doing
- 53:31Speaker 4: this long enough. There's a difference between a martial artist
- 53:33Speaker 4: and a fighter, and right now I'm a martial artist
- 53:36Speaker 4: and that's in a fight camp, all right. So what
- 53:40Speaker 4: I did was and there's been like a questions because
- 53:43Speaker 4: people have seen me up at Ufai training up at Ufai,
- 53:49Speaker 4: but Lucas John is my coach. I'm an instructor at
- 53:54Speaker 4: Granite City MMA, so people are weirded out, like don't
- 53:58Speaker 4: know what's going on because I'm trying Ufai. I'm gonna
- 54:02Speaker 4: let you all in on the big secret and why
- 54:04Speaker 4: I'm training up at Ufai, and it's not the malicious
- 54:10Speaker 4: reasons most people think of. Lucas. Chris, Matthew, Sophia are
- 54:16Speaker 4: all going to be in Vegas for fight week, so
- 54:20Speaker 4: Lucas is not around to corner me. So I asked
- 54:25Speaker 4: his instructor Crewe Ballard and Ed Collins to train me
- 54:30Speaker 4: for this fight and corner me for this fight. I mean,
- 54:33Speaker 4: it's just to me, it's a no brainer. If I
- 54:35Speaker 4: can't have my coach train me, and why wouldn't I
- 54:39Speaker 4: go to his coach who trained him for a similar fight,
- 54:42Speaker 4: so we know he can get him ready. I mean,
- 54:45Speaker 4: Lucas won his fight. So I'm training with the best
- 54:50Speaker 4: people that I can train with right now to help
- 54:52Speaker 4: me prepare in a short amount of time to try
- 54:55Speaker 4: to prepare for a professional fighter. That's all.
- 54:58Speaker 1: That's it.
- 54:59Speaker 4: It's that simple. It's that simple, man, it really is.
- 55:02Speaker 4: But I get private messages all the time. What is
- 55:04Speaker 4: going on is there is absolutely nothing going on. Nope,
- 55:07Speaker 4: I train there, I go there for right now. I'm
- 55:10Speaker 4: getting my cardio in with jiu jitsu and then tuesdays
- 55:14Speaker 4: and I couldn't do Thursday because my body can't go
- 55:16Speaker 4: Monday right through. I need to take a break in
- 55:18Speaker 4: between otherwise my body breaks down. So I'll be back
- 55:21Speaker 4: up spiring and doing lessons tonight, back up to Ufai
- 55:25Speaker 4: and then Saturday morning right back to Granite City.
- 55:28Speaker 1: Have you ever heard from anyone re Rex you ought
- 55:34Speaker 1: to take on JD and the ring.
- 55:37Speaker 4: No, not one person has ever said that. Nope. If
- 55:44Speaker 4: you notice, the fights I take are competitive fights. If
- 55:51Speaker 4: I just wanted to win, I would set that fight up.
- 55:56Speaker 4: You're you're very confident, buddy, Yeah, hell yeah, yeah, yeah
- 56:00Speaker 4: I am. And you know if I were to get you,
- 56:02Speaker 4: if I were to get you in a knee bar
- 56:05Speaker 4: lock so and pass some gas right in your face,
- 56:10Speaker 4: your knee bar, it really would depend on how far
- 56:13Speaker 4: I let you get with the kneebar, because you're a
- 56:14Speaker 4: strong guy, and if I lock it up, you could
- 56:16Speaker 4: break my knee. Absolutely, of course.
- 56:18Speaker 1: You could, especially if I blew one right in your face.
- 56:20Speaker 1: It's over.
- 56:22Speaker 4: Buddy. My confidence gets me out of more fights than
- 56:25Speaker 4: it gets me.
- 56:25Speaker 1: Into Mexican the night before. If I have to, there's
- 56:28Speaker 1: strategy here.
- 56:29Speaker 4: I wouldn't. I wouldn't fight with anybody with gas. I'd
- 56:33Speaker 4: rather walk away, especially if that's your natural defense.
- 56:36Speaker 1: I know we're all over the road this morning, but
- 56:38Speaker 1: Potter's Angels is doing a fundraiser and it's big.
- 56:42Speaker 4: I've heard a lot of good things about them.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Yeah, they're doing something with Jordan's Way. It's a big fundraiser,
- 56:48Speaker 1: and right here it says if we reach fifteen dollars.
- 56:54Speaker 4: My dog kind of forgot about her. She found a
- 56:59Speaker 4: dark space to hide and go to sleep.
- 57:01Speaker 1: Do you think that's what's happening.
- 57:03Speaker 4: She's well, she's three pounds. She's scared of everything. So
- 57:06Speaker 4: they're like chickens. If you, if you ever know you
- 57:08Speaker 4: put a chicken out in a wide open enclosure, they
- 57:11Speaker 4: go fucking nuts because there's no place to hide.
- 57:14Speaker 1: Kidder's saying that I'm gonna beat your ass in a
- 57:16Speaker 1: hot dog eating competition.
- 57:18Speaker 4: He's talking to you, JD, not me. Oh, I don't
- 57:22Speaker 4: eat hotdogs.
- 57:24Speaker 1: If they reach if they reach their goal of fifteen
- 57:26Speaker 1: hundred bucks, I'm going to be apparently having a dog
- 57:31Speaker 1: lick wet dog food off of my face.
- 57:34Speaker 4: Oh it made good.
- 57:37Speaker 1: Probably this is happening Sunday. And there's a link to
- 57:42Speaker 1: donate right there and everyone so and if they raise
- 57:47Speaker 1: more than that, I can't remember how much, but if
- 57:49Speaker 1: it's significantly more than that, I'm gonna eat dog food.
- 57:54Speaker 4: Dude. The smell of it would like I have a
- 57:57Speaker 4: really bad easy gag reefing. If somebody starts throwing I
- 58:01Speaker 4: start throwing.
- 58:02Speaker 1: Out, like I can't g and Chuck and I were
- 58:05Speaker 1: talking about what's in wet dog food like, what's what's
- 58:08Speaker 1: in there? What's in there?
- 58:10Speaker 4: They let me tell you a funny story.
- 58:12Speaker 1: Other than pick lips.
- 58:14Speaker 4: Talking about So, my daughter has the same kind of
- 58:17Speaker 4: gag reflex, like the simple thing. Ever since she was
- 58:20Speaker 4: a kid, she was as always like it is easy
- 58:24Speaker 4: to make her throw up. So my niece, yeah, and
- 58:28Speaker 4: my daughter were over there, they were playing. They were little.
- 58:31Speaker 4: My son was a baby. So I am changing his diaper.
- 58:37Speaker 1: And wait, who Hunter?
- 58:41Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, so I'm changing.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Talking right now on the air about Hunter Thompson's diaper. Yes, okay,
- 58:51Speaker 1: I just wanted to make sure.
- 58:52Speaker 4: Twenty four years ago, I was changing his diaper and
- 58:57Speaker 4: my niece was there, and they were probably four or
- 59:01Speaker 4: five years old, and I just so I had a
- 59:05Speaker 4: clean di I just watched jackass. I watched him do this.
- 59:07Speaker 4: I was like, this is perfect. So I have a
- 59:11Speaker 4: I have a clean diaper with chocolate pudding in it, right,
- 59:14Speaker 4: and I have his dirty diaper. So I grabbed the
- 59:16Speaker 4: dirty diaper and I was like, what the hell has
- 59:19Speaker 4: Hunter been eating? And I stuffed it down beside me,
- 59:22Speaker 4: and now both the girls look at me. They're like,
- 59:24Speaker 4: what what do you mean? And so now I have
- 59:25Speaker 4: this diaper that's full of chocolate pudding. And I'm like,
- 59:30Speaker 4: I keep sniffing it, and they're going to stop doing that.
- 59:33Speaker 4: So they're starting to gag. Yeah, so I'm I get
- 59:40Speaker 4: my nose. I was like, no, it's I can't I
- 59:43Speaker 4: can't determine what it is hunter eight. I was like, oh,
- 59:46Speaker 4: I know how I can tell. So I rubbed it
- 59:48Speaker 4: all the way up. It took a big lick.
- 59:49Speaker 1: Oh you're working it.
- 59:51Speaker 4: Oh my god, I had this chocolate buddy smeared all
- 59:53Speaker 4: over my face.
- 59:54Speaker 1: You're not just spoon feeding it.
- 59:56Speaker 4: Oh no, I was like, scramb legs, that's what it is.
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: Do.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: My daughter puked in the living room my forties, didn't
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: you really? I can't die laughing. If I could get
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: my daughter to puke, it was I just thought that
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: was the funniest, oh my god thing and the world. Yes.
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: So I used to do things like so my kids
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: invited a bunch of friends over. And if you take
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: a wet paper towel, you take a wet paper towel,
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: roll and you you you wet it down, then you
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: rip it up into pieces and you roll it in
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: your hand. Looks just like a dog turn Okay, So
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: my kids are over. They got a bunch of friends
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: over this. Oh, yes, you do this to Lily. You
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: don't tell Lily, don't let her watch this episode. So
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: you do this to wear. So they have all the
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: friends over. I roll my little piece over and I
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: stuff it under the table and then I start screaming
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: all the kids, you'll get out here.
- 1:00:56Speaker 8: I am so sick of this. Every time you have
- 1:00:59Speaker 8: friends over here. You ignored the dog and he ships
- 1:01:02Speaker 8: on the floor. And so my kids are like, Dad,
- 1:01:04Speaker 8: you know, calm down, we'll clean it up. I was like, nope,
- 1:01:07Speaker 8: I got it.
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: I grabbed it with my hand and I was like, oh,
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: I'll show you, and I threw it in my mouth.
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: My kids instantly knew what I was doing. Their friends
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: had no clue. They were like, all took off running.
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: They thought that I had lost my mind and I
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: just ate a piece of dog shit because I was
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: so angry about the dog shit on the floor. Yes,
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: So if you want to torture your kids, that's that's
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: how you do.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: Oh wow, yeah, so great, I'm gonna do that.
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: I am going to do. It's perfect pranks. It really is, dude.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: I I haven't had a chance to show you. Yet
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: I want to show you. Look at these y look that.
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: Get the fuck out of here. Get that, let's get that.
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: Stop stop nonsense, just look stop look with your eyes. No, irony, no,
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: I don' want to see you narrowly toes.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: Lily did such a nice job, she said, Dad, you know,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: the first day of summer is coming, which is today,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: by the way, Happy summer. She's like, you really need
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: to we need to really spruce things up a little bit.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: She's like, well, we need to paint your nails. So
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: we were looking at the there was like a hot
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: it was like a hot pink, and then there was
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: like a fluorescent yellow or green or something like that,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: you know, summertime colors.
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: Yea.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: So she decided to go with the hot pink, sparkly toenails.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: So that's what I'm walking around with now, you know
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: what I'm comforting.
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: You know, it's twenty twenty five. You might as have
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: just come out, man. Nobody cares. Nobody cares. Jad, I'm
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: your friend. I'll still be your friend. I'm okay, I'm
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: okay with it. I'm comfortable with it.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: I'm a little metro.
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: I was called metro before. I don't even know any
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: metros metrosexual, I have no clue what that means.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: But have you ever plucked your eyebrows? Answered to god, damn,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: I never plucked them.
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, I never plucked them. I may
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: have trimmed them, but I've never plucked. Right.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: That's a little bit metro.
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: Well, because if I don't it, you know, I'm It's
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: the German and the Canadian. And get the one eyebrow
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: that goes right across to match my mustache, a little
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: German mustache.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: I want to give a shout out to this guy,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: uh Nick before we wrap up this morning. This guy
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: he he had to post this morning that got my attention,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: and I'll I'll share it over right now. It says
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: right here. One of our buildings got broken into last
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: night and they stole a ton of miscellaneous items of ours,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: but most importantly, they stole a bike that belongs to
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: a hard working kid and some fishing equipment from a
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: real stand up guy. We obviously would like everything back,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: but our top priority is this bike and the fishing equipment.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Please keep your eyes out for these items.
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: Did you see them? Damn kids that stole that bicycle
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: and threw it in the river over there over by.
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: Uh yes, I heard about it, dude. And then the
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: kids like, where are your parents? I'm telling you right now,
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: my kids that I would bring them down public. I'd
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: beat their ass on TV, dude, this guy on they
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: would apologize, they'd work all summer long and buy that
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: kid a new bike.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: This guy nick that there's this bike right there in
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: the monitor right here.
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: Oh it's motorcycle. Yeah, I do Why they stealing a
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: little bike?
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Well it's not that little. It's about buddy, it's in ninja.
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: Yeah, it looks like a little two fifty could be wrong,
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: but you know whatever.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: You know, It's like, why is I understand shit like
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: this is always going to happen. I understand.
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: Desperate people, they'll do extreme shit.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: I just.
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: We do realize the correlation with desperation, robberies, addiction, desperation. Like,
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: the more desperate people we have around here, the more
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: crime you're gonna have, the more petty crimes you'll have,
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: stuff like that, You know what I mean? So how
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: do you so? How do you come back?
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: You're right, somebody stole the first motorcycle that I bought
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: when I was sixteen years old. Shit, that's sucks, man.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: It's a it's a twenty twenty one Ninja four hundred yeap.
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: I was gonna say it looks.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: And he says, I would love to have a good
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: conversation with the scumbag that stole it. I'll show it
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: again on them.
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: That sucks. I had a uh, what the fuck? Was it?
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: A fat boy cvo fat boy stolen?
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: That's really too bad, man. I guess this was uh
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: stolen locally out of La Cares, is my guess? Oh no, ship,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: I think it was.
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, so if they're Robin look here, that's like
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: a that's some sort of group of professional thieves. That's
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: not just addicts.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Yeah, doing the Las power Sports.
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: Yeah oh yeah, Joey and them guys. That's said fucked
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: up chart that posted this up last night. And and Nick, yeah,
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: I wonder if it was the Barn or if it
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: was over at their power must have been an hour
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: at their power Sports.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: I don't know. It's right here right here. It's really
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: I hate that man, really too bad. I mean, you know,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: and I saw that this morning, and you know, I'm
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: a motorcyclist. We buy and I'm like, you know what,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: I'm sharing this shit. I'm going to talk about this.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Good for you for doing that. You know, if if
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: if somebody ever stole Lili's little eighty five, it would absolutely.
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: Yeah, because those bikes don't have insurance and ships, so
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: there's place in them. Of course not, and that sucks anyway.
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Being the first day of summer, the Mountaineers are playing
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: tonight at Recreation Field in montiler Rex. Would you please,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: I'm going to ask you, would you please go to
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: a Mountaineers baseball game with me?
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: I been to them. They're boring as fuck. What No,
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: I'm good man, I just I don't. I don't watch baseball.
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: I don't want It's.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: Not your thing, buddy. Now what if I buy a
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: hotdog and a beer?
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: How is that gonna bribe me? Do I look like
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: I eat hot dogs? Or dan too?
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Hot dog?
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: Two beers? All right? Now, you got me.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: I would love to go with you.
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: I'm definitely not a one hot dog guy. I'm more
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: of a package of hot dog guy.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Listen, today's the longest day of the year, so don't
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: waste it. Get out and do something good with your
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: life today.
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: I'm gonna I want to go get punched in the face.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: I see you got a black eye there.
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: Yeah, that wasn't even from being punched in the face.
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: I'll give you that elbowed in if I have to
- 1:08:33Speaker 7: give you ju jitsu, I'll give you the other one
- 1:08:36Speaker 7: if you want it, so you can match, bitch, I'll
- 1:08:40Speaker 7: do it.
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: What happened, eh, Louis hit me with an elbow? Okay,
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: talking about confidence, man, once again, My confidence gets me
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: out of more stuff, then gets me into stuff, if
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: that makes sense. I had too. Yeah, one hundred percent.
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: I had an incident. I had a guy like super
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: aggressive come after me and my son in my truck.
- 1:09:13Speaker 4: Are you shitting me? No? I was actually hold on,
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: I got to hear this.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: What happened?
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: I was it just you know, just yeah.
- 1:09:21Speaker 7: No.
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: So I was up here. I was up on a
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: back road and this guy, obviously it was his first
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: day in an excavator and he was trying to clear
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: the ditches. I didn't know that he was the road foreman.
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: I had no clue. But anyway, I was sat there
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: and I waited because he didn't know how to have
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: flagman or ditch and he was trying to fill a truck.
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: So we waited probably twenty twenty five minutes, and we're
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: parked on a hill and they finally waved us by.
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: We finally get by. I go by and my truck
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: I have. I have a one ton. My tires are
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: bald in the bag. Not a big deal, but I
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: guess it spun or whatever. I didn't think anything of it.
- 1:09:57Speaker 4: So I go up, I meet with the customer. I
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: come back through and this guy starts screaming at me.
- 1:10:01Speaker 4: I stopped my truck. I thought like he didn't want
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: me to go buy the excavator or something. I thought, well,
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: he jumped out of that excavator and started screaming at me.
- 1:10:11Speaker 4: I was like, I thought he wanted to fight with
- 1:10:14Speaker 4: me on the side of the road and I and
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: I had my son with me, so I instantly got
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: out of my truck because he was big. He was
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: he was probably about big ed size. And I was like, Oh,
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: I don't know what you're doing, but uh, you're not
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: gonna talk to me. I don't know who you think you're.
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: You're not a cop, You're not He's like, I don't
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: know who the fuck you are, and you're gonna and
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: I was like, well, number one, you're definitely not gonna
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: talk to me like that in an aggressive manner. Get
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: down off your excavator so we talk like men. If
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: that's what you want to do, I said, Otherwise, if
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: you continue doing that, I said, we're you know if
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: you if you come aggressively at me anymore, I'm gonna
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: take your teeth out of your head.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: So you weren't trying to be a tick? You were, No,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: I was super calm. I had with spinning your tires.
- 1:10:58Speaker 4: No, not at all. I didn't even care. I was like, hey, idiot,
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: I didn't want to tell you you're a moron that
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: you don't know how to run an excavator, but whatever, dude.
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: But I could not believe he was a road forman,
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: and I could not believe the way like, you're not
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: a cop, you're not. You don't aggressively go after people
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: like that. I thought he wanted to, Like I seriously,
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: the way that he was acting and being so aggressive,
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: I thought he really wanted to fight. And I was like, well,
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: I'm not gonna sit in my truck and wait for
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: some big dude to punch me in a face. We're
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: gonna be right here, and I'm gonna defend myself and
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: so just but so then it made me realize, Like
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: as soon as I stood up to him, all of
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: a sudden, I realized he was a bully. I was like, ah,
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: I get it. You're used to intimidating people and getting
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: your way. I thought you really wanted to fight with me,
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: So I got out to defend myself. But then once
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: you saw that I wasn't backing down from you, all
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: of a sudden, the dude turned into a pacifist. I
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: was like, no, man, you don't like so. I never
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: had to throw a punch, never had nothing. But I'm afraid,
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: like if it had been someone weaker that cowered down
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: to him, he would have continued on being that that aggressive.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Or somebody that was high on drugs, right right.
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: I mean, what if you had had a smaller person
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: that was in fear. What happens? Then they pull their
- 1:12:16Speaker 4: gun out and shoot you because and you may not
- 1:12:19Speaker 4: have meant to be that aggressive or didn't think of
- 1:12:22Speaker 4: it in that type of a situation, But if you're
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: a smaller person, then you don't know how to defend yourself.
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: You only have one resource, to defend yourself, and that's lethality, right,
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: So it's just with that. Like I said, I'm sure
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: that guy was used to talking to people like that,
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: and I was not that person, and I was never
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: I didn't raise my voice. I didn't. I was just
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: pretty confident. And also I'm standing outside there with a
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: black eye, so obviously I like to fight.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Listen, today being the first day of summer, why haven't
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: we been invited out on Big Kenny's boat yet?
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: I think we need to call me Kinny and ask
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: him why the fuck.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: Kenny?
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: I'm on the phone now. I don't know you guys
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: can't ask.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: What's going on?
