Get ready for free summer vibes at the Tang Teaching Museum’s “Upbeat on the Roof” concert series, kicking off July 9th and running through August 20th. Every Thursday at 6 PM, seven local bands will bring you funk, R&B, indie pop, and soul on the museum lawn — perfect for picnics, blankets, and bringing the whole family. Kids can join “Crafts on the Grass” at 5:30 PM for free, fun art activities led by museum educators. Originally born on the rooftop in 2001, this beloved staple has moved to the lawn to handle the crowds — and the name stuck. Rain? No problem — everything moves indoors…
