  Speaker 1: the Lord will work out his plan for my life.

  Speaker 1: For your faithful love, O, Lord endures forever. You know,

  Speaker 1: when we go through seasons of difficulty, it's natural to
• 0:30
  Speaker 1: wonder why certain things are happening. Why did that relationship
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: fall apart? Why did that door close? Why did that
• 0:37
  Speaker 1: opportunity disappear just when it seemed like everything was finally
• 0:41
  Speaker 1: coming together. In moments like these, it's easy to assume
• 0:45
  Speaker 1: that something has gone wrong, but often what looks like
• 0:49
  Speaker 1: a setback is actually part of God's set up. When
• 0:53
  Speaker 1: you study the life of Joseph, you see a man
• 0:56
  Speaker 1: who endued thirteen years of unfair treatment and hardship. His
• 1:02
  Speaker 1: own brothers betrayed him and sold him into slavery. Later,
• 1:06
  Speaker 1: he served faithfully in the House of Potiphar, only to
• 1:10
  Speaker 1: be falsely accused and thrown into prison. From a human perspective,
• 1:15
  Speaker 1: it seemed like Joseph's life was falling apart every time
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: he did the right thing. Another hardship appeared, another delay,
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: another disappointment. But God had not forgotten Joseph, and he
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: hasn't forgotten you. Every painful moment was positioning Joseph for
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: something greater. In that prison, Joseph met Pharaoh's cup bearer.

  Speaker 1: That connection eventually led to Joseph interpreting Pharaoh's dream, and
• 1:45
  Speaker 1: in a single day, he was promoted from prisoner to
• 1:49
  Speaker 1: prime minister of Egypt. What looked like years of detours
• 1:53
  Speaker 1: were actually steps in God's divine plan. See sometimes we
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: experience pence, we experienced prisons and painful seasons, not because
• 2:04
  Speaker 1: we're off course, but because God is guiding us toward
• 2:09
  Speaker 1: a purpose that we cannot yet see. If Joseph had
• 2:14
  Speaker 1: not been betrayed, he would have never gone to Egypt.

  Speaker 1: If he had not been falsely accused, he would have
• 2:21
  Speaker 1: never ended up in the prison where he met the
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: person who connected him to Pharaoh. See what seemed random
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: was actually divine orchestration. Come on, Jesus, the same is
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: true in our lives today. Not every hardship is an attack.

  Speaker 1: Sometimes it's preparation. Not every closed door is rejection. Sometimes
• 2:43
  Speaker 1: it's re direction. See God's plans are bigger than what
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: we can see in the moment. Come on, Jesus, the delays,
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: the disappointments, and even the unfair situations may be shaping you,
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: strengthening you, and positioning you for something greater than you imagine.

  Speaker 1: So instead of fighting every difficulty or becoming bitter over
• 3:05
  Speaker 1: what didn't work out, choose to trust the process. God
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: is still writing your story. His plan has not been canceled.
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: His purpose for your life is still unfolding, and just
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: like Joseph, one moment of favor can change everything. Oh Father,
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: thank you that even when we can't see what you're doing,
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: you're still working behind the scenes. Thank you that every
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: step of our journey is in your hands. Help us God,

  Speaker 1: to trust you through the delays, the disappointments, and the
• 3:39
  Speaker 1: unexpected terms. God, we choose peace over worry and faith
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: over frustration. God, we believe that you're working out your
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: perfect plan for our lives and that you're a favor
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: will bring us exactly where we need to be in
• 3:52
  Speaker 1: Jesus' name. Now that your work for today, take it

  Speaker 1: applied to your everyday life, and you continue to be

  Speaker 1: encouraged and inspired with your early morning Praise Party. I
