Speaker B: Thanks for tuning in to the Undercut's review of the 2025 US Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas. Please rate, review and subscribe wherever you listen and enjoy the show. By being a racing driver, you are at risk all the time. By being a racing driver means you are racing with other people. And if you no longer go for a gap that exists, you're no longer a racing driver. All right, guys. Well, we're back. It's the first Sprint Re weekend in a while, and before I bring you guys in, let me just say my piece here.
• 0:46
  Speaker A: All right?
• 0:48
Speaker B: So I think that Max is going to win the championship. Now, hear me out. I don't want to say this. I really, truly don't, okay? But Max believes in himself now. Not that he didn't before, but he now thinks that he has a chance to win this championship. Oscar is a shell of what he was four race weekends ago. I mean, he was this calm, cool, collected guy for the first 10 races or whatever, and now he is making all these little mistakes and complaining about the things that Lando's getting that he's not. Whether fair or not, okay? The whole team is falling apart. It's obvious that McLaren has stopped working on the car this year, and Red Bull has done something to their car to make them this much better. And I don't see either of these drivers taking it to Max for the. For the end of the year. And it pains me to say that, but I think that it's true. And maybe this is the Philadelphia sports fan in me, and I'm used to everything falling apart at the end.
• 2:00
Speaker A: You're the super bowl champ, so let's not worry. Let's.
• 2:04
Speaker C: Giants fan and a Cleveland Browns fan.
• 2:07
Speaker B: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
• 2:09
  Speaker A: I've had.
• 2:11
Speaker B: I didn't have any championships in my whole life until I was 20 years old, okay? So don't let me hear that. You know, now that we've got a couple Super Bowls, now you're all happy, all right? The Giants have three Super Bowls before we had one, all right? So I don't want to hear that shit.
• 2:29
Speaker C: The Browns have never been to the Super Bowl.
• 2:33
Speaker A: Let's get back onto Formula One. Yes. We have to admit that it is very possible that Max could win. He is looking unflappable right now. He's just going out there and winning. I mean, I rewatched the highlights of the race, the main Grand Prix, not the Sprint Grand Prix. They barely even showed Max in the highlights. They just showed him at the start not losing the lead. And then they showed him winning. Like, what else did he do? He just won. Just wins.
• 3:04
Speaker B: The best highlight for Max was him just laughing at Lando and Charles talking in the cooldown room afterwards. That was the most highlight we had for Max in the whole race.
• 3:15
Speaker A: And he's been there before. He's been there, done that. He's not going to get flustered.
• 3:21
Speaker C: Yeah, he's taken out. He's taken 64 points out of Oscar Piastri's lead in four races.
• 3:29
  Speaker A: Wow.
• 3:29
Speaker C: He was 104 points behind four races ago. He's now 40 points behind now. A lot of that was down to Oscar cutting back on the first corner of a race and then not expecting anybody to be there, which took both him and Lando out. He, he must be thrilled that he took Lando out of that because Lando would have finished second in the sprint, picked up seven points, and then Lando would be seven points behind him. Yeah, but coming into the, into the weekend, it was all about. Yeah, it was all about Lando. And you know that light contact in Singapore where Lando has repercussions. Are they gone now? Because what Oscar did was way worse.
• 4:25
Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, yeah, he talk about the first corner of the sprint race, obviously, where he just turned, went deep and turned in and the car was right there. I agree.
• 4:37
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 4:37
Speaker C: I mean, didn't deserve a penalty. These kind of things happen. It's the first lap. But it was entirely his fault and he shouldn't have turned across just like that. Who did it last year? Carlos Seitz got t boned as well.
• 4:50
Speaker A: Yeah. You have to expect there's going to be a car there on that hairpin corner at the beginning. You don't get to dive for the apex, you know, sprint away.
• 4:59
Speaker C: Did you see Fernando Alonso put something on Twitter or on Instagram or something about how he was like way up the inside and he was like, you know what? I've basically given up on the year.
• 5:15
Speaker A: I mean, I didn't see that. But I mean, Fernando's hilarious. Like, he's just got such a great perspective of all these. He's been there, done that, seen everything. But I mean, Jason, it's hard to argue with you. McLaren is just fumbling the ball at the critical moment. They can't string together results anymore. They're, they're mid pack, not mid pack runners, but they're just one of the top, top teams now. They're not dominant like they were in the first half of the season. It's like a flip of what Happened last year. Right. When Lando was trying to chase down Max and ultimately fell short. This year it's the reverse. But now it seems like it's possible that Max gets it across the line. Let's not forget which, which was it. Was it in. You know, Oscar took himself out as well in Azerbaijan. Right. By going out in the first lap. So zero points there. Yeah. Which didn't, didn't help. But it's. I mean, we were totally dismissive of it, of Max winning a few races ago, but I think it's a very real possibility now.
• 6:23
Speaker C: It is a real possibility. I think I'd rather be where Oscar is 40 points ahead than where, where Max is. But Max knows what to do. The pressure is not going to get to him. I'm not saying the pressure is getting to Oscar because I don't think he made any mistakes this weekend. He was just slow. You know, he was slow at this track last year. I don't know if it's. He's just not found his rhythm here. But, but Lando was about quarter of a second faster every lap than Oscar. So we know that that's not the case. Oscar's not a quarter of a second slower than Lando. He's just not hooked up. So we just have to see what happens. I think Max is still probably favourite for Mexico just because they've always gone well there. But after that, I don't know. I think that McLaren have just struggled to kind of string it together a little bit.
• 7:15
  Speaker A: Right.
• 7:16
Speaker C: Like Charles leclerc going on the soft tyre. Why was Lando not going on the soft tyre? Well, because they didn't know because they were not in the sprint race. They had no data to say that. They understood that the degradation was a lot lower than it was than it had in the initial model. That's because they got taken out. Ferrari, kind of suspect it could be. And they went with it, rolled the dice. Charles leclerc got ahead of Lando and took Lando completely out the picture for the win. Anyway. He couldn't get by if it. I mean, he wouldn't have had an easier time getting past Max, but he'd have been battling Max for the win and not Charles for second.
• 7:54
Speaker B: Yeah. I mean, is it crazy of me to think that the likelihood of what's going to finish is that Oscar is going to be third place in the championship? Is that possible?
• 8:08
Speaker C: It's possible, yeah. Because it's a three way fight for the title. I mean, he's looked the worst of.
• 8:14
Speaker B: All three of them. Over the past five races, he's looked the worst out of the three.
• 8:19
Speaker C: He has. Lando's definitely had the edge of the McLaren boys this last. Well, since his engine blew up in Zandvoor, Right?
• 8:29
  Speaker B: Yeah, pretty much.
• 8:31
Speaker C: Because that was the point at which he was like, well, I'm kind of out of it because my engine's blown. I'm X number of points behind. He kind of relaxed a little bit and the flow has come to him. It's just that, you know, whether it be being on the wrong tyre at the start or just getting stuck behind, someone has kind of ruined this race. That if he'd have just made it in front, he'd have disappeared. That would have probably happened in Singapore, it would have probably happened here. But you've got to be in the lead to win the race.
• 8:59
  Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
• 9:01
Speaker B: And at the same time, I mean, we've seen Max do the same move at the beginning of this US Grand Prix for, like, three straight years in a row where he just cuts it all the way to the left and makes everyone else move around him. Why hasn't anybody figured that out yet and just go the other way? Like, what Charles did was great. He went all the way to the right and just made that turn crazy wide, so no one could really cut him off or crash into him on the inside. And he was able to just kind of scoot around. Lando, who was cut, you know, stuck behind Max. I don't understand why more people don't try and do that.
• 9:35
Speaker C: Yeah. And he can get on the gas earlier and get a great drive out, right?
• 9:40
  Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
• 9:43
Speaker B: But, yeah, I'm incredibly, the one who.
• 9:46
Speaker C: I feel bad for at the start, though. Yeah, was George, because George thought that Lando was going to move across, but Lando, in the sprint, moved across and got taken out. So he stayed tight to the left. And that meant that George got stuck behind him and lost places to both. Both Ferraris.
• 10:04
  Speaker A: Right? Yeah.
• 10:06
Speaker C: Was it Oscar? And it was Oscar and Lewis, wasn't it?
• 10:10
Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because obviously leclerc took. Took Lando at the start, didn't he, and ended up second. Yeah, But.
• 10:20
Speaker C: But, you know, let's talk about leclerc. Let's talk about Hamilton In. In. In fourth place. Finally, some good strategy decisions. They figured out things and they came third and fourth, which is what, their strongest result of the year, probably. Right?
• 10:38
Speaker A: Yeah. I mean, if you discount the sprint race win by Hamilton, which seems like a very distant memory now, but, yeah, it certainly got a little bit dicey around lap 20 there or whatever. When Leclerc's soft tyres were running out and Hamilton was all over the back of him and we all thought that Leclerc would just let him through, but he didn't. He fought him until they said, just bring it into the pits. Yes, we'll sort it out. But I was like, easy, boys, easy. Careful, don't hit each other. Come on. But yeah, it was Papaya rules by them.
• 11:12
  Speaker B: Papaya rules.
• 11:14
Speaker A: Papaya rules. Well, it's been a long time since we've had. I mean, I'm kind of back on McLaren again now you're trying to pivot me over to Ferrari, but it's been a long time since we've had a two teammates gunning for the title simultaneously. Right.
• 11:29
Speaker B: I'm trying to think Lewis and Lewis.
• 11:32
Speaker C: And was Lewis and Fernando in 2007 when two McLaren teammates were battling for the title. And then someone else came in and swooped and took the title at the last race. And Kimmy Reich in it.
• 11:46
Speaker A: That's right. Kimmy in Brazil. Right. Yeah. That was awesome.
• 11:51
Speaker C: That wasn't what you were thinking of.
• 11:52
Speaker A: At the time, but, no, I rushed out and bought a ton of Ferrari Finnish flags, Ferrari themed gear. Straight after that, I got a Ferrari red golf shirt with a Finnish flag on it somewhere.
• 12:08
Speaker B: And that was the last one for Ferrari.
• 12:09
Speaker A: Right. That was. That was. That was. I was thinking, yeah, what, Ross? Yeah. Rosberg and Hamilton. But it's very hard to manage those drivers at that level. And that's what McLaren's finding out now. I don't think these guys have experience. Like, how do you manage this? People thought that. I mean, maybe that's what we still think. Now the gloves are kind of off. Now they've sealed the constructor's title, the boys are free to race a bit more. Maybe that's why we're seeing a bit.
• 12:34
Speaker C: Well, they always have been. They always have been free to race.
• 12:37
Speaker A: Yeah, they said. They say that, but now they're really. They haven't hit each other and now they've got multiple contacts in the last few races.
• 12:45
Speaker C: So, yeah, I mean, Singapore, it was contact, it was light contact, which is different. It's. Don't take your teammate out as well, which Oscar did.
• 12:58
Speaker A: Oh, man. But yes, Ferrari. Great race by Ferrari. You know, nothing's gonna change this year. I mean, what's the standings for the. For the constructors now?
• 13:09
  Speaker B: It's close.
• 13:10
  Speaker A: Tight.
• 13:10
Speaker B: Yeah, it's really tight between those three teams. It's like 30 points apart.
• 13:15
Speaker A: I don't know exactly, but no, 10. It's 10 points from Red Bull in fourth to Mercedes in second.
• 13:22
  Speaker C: Wow.
• 13:23
Speaker A: With Ferrari in the middle. So it's. Yeah, it's super tight. Yeah.
• 13:27
Speaker C: But it was interesting. I was thinking about it just like yesterday, I think on the way to work that Red Bull. Are they really interested in the constructors? No, they've got only one driver.
• 13:40
Speaker A: Not with Tsunoda. Yeah, yeah.
• 13:42
Speaker C: But then when you think about right now, the, you know, McLaren aren't far ahead and that's the rule set. That's the budget cap and the wind tunnel time and all that kind of stuff. Doing what it's supposed to, which is advantaging, giving the teams chasing a bit an advantage over the teams that are at the front. So then I'm thinking, well, why would Red Bull with Max want a second good driver? Which just makes them like higher up in the constructors, which they know they're not going to win anyway. And that way they. It's not a conspiracy theory, it's just an interesting theory so that they don't go for the constructors because they, they know that they've got to work on their car. And so the way to do that is to be able to use more wind tunnel time by not having a good driver in the second car. And then Max comes back and scoops up. Well, you have to start, too.
• 14:42
Speaker A: Maybe that's why Tsunoda's so slow. Maybe he's doing like testing basically during the race. They don't care what he's doing. They're putting interesting things on his car and interesting setups to see how it.
• 14:52
Speaker C: To see how it works so that Max can take advantage in the future.
• 14:55
  Speaker A: Right, exactly.
• 14:56
Speaker B: Wasn't there a moment earlier in the season where Lance didn't start a race and they just didn't put anybody in? I guess it was because he had qualified and then had to back out of the race. So they couldn't.
• 15:06
Speaker C: He withdrew from the race. Yeah, yeah, right.
• 15:09
Speaker A: Yeah. But, yeah, that's not an interesting theory. You can start laying. I mean, they'll do anything in Formula one to gain an advantage. You know, where a tenth of a second is a lifetime.
• 15:21
Speaker C: Like peel tape off. Off the side of the track.
• 15:27
Speaker A: Do. They were. So. So what happened there? The, the Red Bull engineer peeled the tape off the wall went to.
• 15:34
Speaker C: So what happened was. So Lando, when he lines up, because your head is in the same spot, Right. You're always right there. So you're not like leaning forward or back, but as a reference point, he lines up a Particular crease on his car with a piece of tape that they put on the wall. And when he's on the grid before the formation lap, his race engineer stands and kind of moves it and then puts it on the wall based on where Lando tells him to put it. Red Bull, it seems, have cottoned onto this and in the past have removed the tape.
• 16:09
  Speaker A: Right.
• 16:11
Speaker C: This weekend, one of the Red Bull mechanics was trying to get back onto the grid after the formation lap had started to remove the tape and got busted. They forgot to remove it. And so he was trying to get back onto the grid to remove the tape, and you can't do that. It's a live track. And he got busted and fined.
• 16:34
Speaker A: So it wasn't the removal of the tape. That's like gamesmanship, is it? That's like, all's fair in love and war. It was. Obviously, they're trying to regain entrance to this track once that.
• 16:43
Speaker C: Yeah. Because there's no rule that says you can or can't have the tape. So if there's no rule to say that you can't have it, then there's no rule to say that someone else can't take it away.
• 16:51
Speaker A: Can't take it away. Yeah. Oh, man.
• 16:56
  Speaker C: It's just. Oh, it's just so F1.
• 16:59
Speaker A: It's very F1. Yeah. Oh, dear.
• 17:04
Speaker B: All right, well, what other.
• 17:05
Speaker C: But does it make you like Red Bull more?
• 17:09
Speaker A: No, I mean, or less.
• 17:10
  Speaker C: I don't know.
• 17:11
Speaker A: We're all rooting for Max now. I was saying to Jason before we started recording, like, we couldn't see the background fast enough. The last. Well, not you, Jason, but, you know, we always like the underdog Now Max has suddenly transformed from the absolute favorite and dominating force to the underdog. And now we're like, can he do it? Will he make it across the line?
• 17:34
Speaker B: Max is not the underdog.
• 17:36
  Speaker A: All right?
• 17:36
Speaker B: Max is not the underdog. How many times do we call this guy the best driver in the sport? Right. Just because his team sucks doesn't make him an underdog.
• 17:44
Speaker A: All right, Maybe it was getting good. If Christian Horner was the catalyst for.
• 17:49
Speaker B: Max's resurgence, that may be fair.
• 17:55
Speaker A: But I mean, something that cheers Jason.
• 17:57
Speaker C: Up, I mean, it's, you know, correlation is not causation. But it's quite remarkable that the turnaround came just like that. As soon as. As soon as they got Lauren Mekies in charge, who is more of an engineer. Right, Right.
• 18:14
Speaker B: Hey, that's what we saw with Haas.
• 18:16
  Speaker A: Right.
• 18:18
Speaker B: We all love Gunther, but they got a guy in who is more on the aerodynamic side of things. And not that they're consistently doing well. I mean, I guess they. They're getting more points than they had in the past, at least. Might not be every race weekend, but overall they seem to be doing better.
• 18:38
Speaker A: Yeah, they definitely improved. I mean, Behrman was up there fighting, wasn't he? Yeah, until he took a little trip across the grass or whatever.
• 18:46
Speaker C: Yeah. This year we're trying to overtake Yuki.
• 18:50
Speaker B: I like the move. I like the attempt.
• 18:53
  Speaker A: Right.
• 18:53
Speaker B: Even if it didn't work.
• 18:55
Speaker C: Yeah. There were a couple of attempts that weren't really on Bearman. He was a bit ambitious. Carlos Sainz, a bit ambitious.
• 19:08
  Speaker A: Very ambitious.
• 19:10
Speaker C: Lance Stroll in the. In the sprint.
• 19:13
Speaker A: In the sprint. I mean, the only thing you can say about Lance Stroll is the mint. The second he hit him, he had his hand up, like, in. Like.
• 19:20
  Speaker C: He's like, I'm an idiot.
• 19:22
Speaker A: Yeah, I'm an idiot. That was my fault. I mean, it was. I mean, ugh, Lance. Why is he still in F1? I don't know.
• 19:32
Speaker C: Anyway, we know why money talks.
• 19:34
Speaker A: We do know why, but there's no space. There should be no room for that. If you want to improve your car and be successful, you need driving this. He's not a driver.
• 19:43
Speaker B: They've got one that people think is one of the best drivers ever. And then you've got, you know, Lance.
• 19:50
Speaker A: What is he helping them learn with? How's he helping make the car better? I don't know. Well. I don't know.
• 19:55
Speaker C: Well, everyone else is making the car better for him, so. Right.
• 19:59
Speaker A: Work harder, people. That's right. All right. I mean, other. I mean, everything else in the race, there wasn't too much action. I mean, the fight between Norris and leclerc was. Was pretty co. I mean, it took him, what, four, four, five laps to. To get it done and some really good hard racing between them. But that just.
• 20:18
  Speaker C: Yeah, and.
• 20:19
Speaker A: And interesting to Matt Max even more, didn't it?
• 20:22
Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. But I. I think that also he went on the Lando, went on the soft tire, and it was getting too hot. He was overheating, and he thought he was done. But then his engineer just came on and said, look, just back off, let the car let. Let the tires cool down a little bit and go again, which is like. I don't think I've ever seen that in a race before. Normally, it's like the tyres are gone, they're gone and they never come back. I mean, occasionally you push through graining, but it wasn't a Case of graining on this one, it was like the tyre was overheating and he just backed off, let the tyres cool down again and then went at it again. And so we saw an overtake for second position. What, like five laps from the end? Which, I don't know, I think like 10 or so laps from the end it looked, I mean even 30 laps from the end it looked like it was a foregone conclusion that it was going to be Max, then Charles, then Lando. But we saw some action late in the race, which is always a good thing.
• 21:17
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, we had another bad. Well, I mean this isn't the worst pit stop McLaren's had over the past few races, but it always seems to be the second person that comes in gets a slower pit stop than what they are expecting. It's very, it's very odd. It's all facets of the team are just falling apart.
• 21:35
Speaker A: Yeah, it's not like it's not working, like.
• 21:37
Speaker C: Yeah, they're either sub 2 seconds or over 3 and a half.
• 21:40
Speaker A: Right, right. Yeah. I mean it's a quick, it's a quick turnaround. Right. They got, they're probably already down in Mexico. Right. Setting up. So this weekend as we record, it's. It's Tuesday now because of our Amazon technical issues yesterday, but yeah, it's straight onto onto Mexico. So if Max is going to press home his advantage, you know, another win will do nicely and it's only going to ramp up the heat. The minute Max has any kind of misstep though, all this conversation I think goes out the, out the door. Right.
• 22:15
Speaker C: Yeah, he's not going to take, he's not going to take 20 something points out of Piastri's lead every single race. No, obviously it was a sprint race. So he managed to score 33 points to Oscar's 10.
• 22:29
  Speaker A: Right.
• 22:30
Speaker C: So yeah, he took 23 points out. Short of winning a race and Oscar not finishing, that's not going to happen every weekend. Max has to be perfect. He has to win every race. Even if he wins every race and Oscar comes second in every race and every sprint, Oscar still wins the championship by three points.
• 22:52
Speaker A: That. Right. But we've seen Max win every race. Like we've watched.
• 22:57
Speaker C: We have seen this before. We know it's possible, we know he can do it.
• 23:02
Speaker A: How many in a row would you like, sir? 10, 12, 14.
• 23:05
Speaker B: And when's the last time Oscar's placed in the top five? Right before this race. Race week. This race.
• 23:10
Speaker A: Yeah. Oh, it's going to be interesting all.
• 23:15
Speaker C: It takes is Oscar to win a race or Lando to win a race. And then it's going to make it very difficult.
• 23:21
Speaker A: It's going to go to the end between Lando and Oscar. Anyway, we're not going to know until the last grand prix who the world champion is most likely, you know, whether the max is still in that discussion or not is to be seen. But between Lando and Oscar, it's like, who can limp across the line first?
• 23:35
Speaker B: It's 2007 all over again. No good. Well, I guess the only other thing we didn't talk about, although it didn't really affect the end result very much, but at Alpine, they had the weird moment where they told Colapinto to hold position when they were in like 17th and 18th place. And he was just like, fuck that.
• 23:59
Speaker A: I'm going secure. 17th spot. Yeah, Colapinto, don't jeopardize it. Yeah.
• 24:06
Speaker C: Well, what I heard was that it actually wasn't a we're gonna hold position for 17th. It was. They hadn't put enough fuel in their cars and they were. They didn't know if they were going to get lapped or not. And so they said hold position so that you're not battling. And because they wanted max to get by them so that they knew that they were good on fuel.
• 24:30
Speaker A: Oh. So they have one less lap to do at the end.
• 24:33
Speaker C: So they have one. So they don't do the full race distance. They have a lap shorter. They were asking, I mean, at one point, I think Pierre gasly was lifting and coasting like 150 meters before. I mean, he was literally lifting and coasting 300 meters per lap.
• 24:50
Speaker A: I think like leclerc in Singapore all over again.
• 24:54
Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. Because they were. They were. I mean, you don't want to be lugging extra fuel around because that's weight. It's time. So that was what I think was the. The driver for that. Although now, I mean, yeah, all well and good. It was a great move. And initially I thought, yay, good on you, Colapinto. But he's trying to get a drive and the only drive available to him is the alpine drive. And it's between him and Paul Aaron now. He brings some money, but I'm sure Paul Aaron does too. But are they going to want the team player next year? I don't know if he's done himself a world of favors with that maneuver.
• 25:33
Speaker A: Right. Yeah. Interesting. I mean, lots of think about Nick. You've been. You've been thinking a lot in the car this Week of all these different actors.

Speaker C: Traffic's been bad this last couple of days.
• 25:48
Speaker B: I imagine Cole Pinto is not here next year.
• 25:50
  Speaker A: Right.
• 25:54
  Speaker C: It's 50. 50 to me, I think.
• 25:55
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 25:56
  Speaker B: I just can't. I mean, he's done nothing.
• 25:59
Speaker C: They've said it's between him and Paul Aaron. Paul Aaron is not a name that I think, oh, he. He's going to be amazing. I don't even remember much about him in the junior formula either, to be honest. But yeah, I mean, Colapinto hasn't scored a point.
• 26:14
  Speaker A: Yeah, right.
• 26:16
Speaker B: I mean, it's like him and doing are the only two that haven't.
• 26:18
  Speaker A: Right.
• 26:19
  Speaker C: Yeah.
• 26:20
Speaker A: Yeah. Well, do. It's not going to score any points anytime soon, is it? Right.
• 26:26
Speaker B: Well, I think that's. That's really it for this race. I mean, I. There, like we said, there weren't many highlights, so.
• 26:33
  Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
• 26:35
Speaker C: It wasn't. It wasn't a classic race, was it?
• 26:38
Speaker A: No. Do you want to talk about the coupes F1 update? Jason as well? Even more. Yeah, yeah. I mean, tough sledding now for everybody.
• 26:49
Speaker C: You know, just put Max into win and then Oscar for fourth and then, you know, you're hedging.
• 26:55
Speaker A: It's like two years ago again now, like throw out the start of the year form book. You know, it's not. McLaren dominated anymore. So top score, 240 points, which is not that high by Dino Pin. Wesley Crocker in with 235 points. But yeah, R. Heatley takes the top spot in the overall standings. And Jason. Yeah, you've tumbled to sixth and Nick tumbled all the way down to ninth after.
• 27:25
Speaker C: Oh, good Lord. Really? Yikes.
• 27:29
Speaker A: Yeah, everybody else is.
• 27:30
Speaker C: I did actually forget to put my picks in, but.
• 27:33
Speaker A: Well, it reuses your previous race.
• 27:35
Speaker C: It does reuse, which were useless too.
• 27:41
Speaker A: But yeah, tablet ID up to second and Tulio 75 into third. So I mean, R. Heatley has. If you. If you're familiar with the site, you have little cups next to your name. If you've been in the top three historically, he already has a third place and a win in past seasons next to his name. I don't think anybody has three cups next to them. There's plenty of people with two.
• 28:07
Speaker C: Yeah, I've got two.
• 28:09
Speaker A: He could be a. Could be a three, first three cup winner, but long way to go yet.
• 28:16
Speaker B: See, when I was comparing myself to Oscar, it's becoming more and more like it is likely. Right.
• 28:23
Speaker A: You are correct. You thought. You thought it was for victory, but actually, unfortunately Oscar's still leading his Championship, Right? Yeah.
• 28:34
Speaker B: Blown out the window.
• 28:35
Speaker A: You know, it's not. It's not done. You're. Yeah, it's. Oh, you're only like 14 points in from. From sixth to first. It's very tough.
• 28:44
  Speaker B: No, it's 100.
• 28:46
  Speaker A: Oh, sorry. No, it's 114. Yes, you're right. I missed the. I missed a.
• 28:52
Speaker B: It was a bad, bad couple weeks.
• 28:55
Speaker C: I've had a bad couple of weeks, too. Worse. But, oh, well. Yeah.
• 28:59
  Speaker A: Oh, well.
• 29:00
Speaker B: It is what it is.
• 29:02
Speaker A: And you're well above me. I am tumbling like a proverbial lead balloon. Where am I now? Oof. 166. Yikes.
• 29:13
Speaker B: And what we said Mexico is next week. That's not a sprint race, right? Just a regular. Regular.
• 29:19
Speaker C: What sprints do we have left? We've got. Brazil's a sprint.
• 29:23
  Speaker A: Right.
• 29:25
  Speaker B: Cut. Cutter.
• 29:25
  Speaker A: Qatar.
• 29:26
  Speaker B: Cutter.
• 29:26
  Speaker C: Qatar.
• 29:27
Speaker B: Do they have one?
• 29:28
Speaker C: Yeah, I think maybe. Someone Google it quick.
• 29:34
Speaker A: For sure. I think there are two and neither's Abu Dhabi, so that's that. And Brazil, I don't think. Yeah, Brazil is right.
• 29:41
Speaker B: So Brazil definitely is. I'm guessing that it's Qatar, however you say it. Qatar.
• 29:46
  Speaker A: Cutter.
• 29:47
  Speaker B: Yep.
• 29:48
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 29:48
  Speaker B: Mix your points.
• 29:49
Speaker A: There's plenty of points out there. Let's see where they go. We have to watch the races to find out.
• 29:56
Speaker B: Yeah, we do. Oh, God. Anything else you guys want to add about this, this race weekend?
• 30:06
Speaker A: It's never. It's never going to stop. Jason, you're going to edit this, send it out, and we'll be back at it again this weekend. Yeah. Yeah.
• 30:13
Speaker B: No, he has to give up the corner. I had the nose ahead. What is wrong with these people? Thanks again for listening to the Undercuts review of the 2025 US Grand Prix.
