- 0:00The All Black team's just been named to go to visit Victor in South Africa. I think it's going to be amazing, it's going to be great. I think everyone's talking about Duke Bracey's non-ability to play other positions. Yeah, it's interesting because what I've seen in Super Rugby was outstanding.
- 0:17i think the thing is with russi everyone's under pressure if you don't perform uh you won't play the next week doesn't matter who you are for me the interesting thing will be who's going to argentina ardi's gonna sort of join up with the team late it's a big call i also think he got blamed for some stuff that was really unfair around you know what happened with razer i just want to say the bulls have beaten the all blacks twice already yeah i was i was actually quite liking you this morning victor
- 0:49Right, welcome back to Rugby Rivals. And the All Black team has just been named a couple of hours ago, JK, to go to visit Victor in South Africa. Will you be there at the airport to welcome them, Victor? I think there might be a few South Africans. I'll wait for them at Loftus. I'll see them the first time at Loftus for the Bulls.
- 1:14see if they're up to the task. But, yeah, it's getting close now. I think it's going to be fun. It's going to be amazing. Yeah, be with the team, JK. Yeah, I've had a look at the team, yeah. Got up this morning and it was there. Very happy for Sacred Heart boy, Josh Jacobs. Pretty special moment for him and his family. A few new caps, which is interesting. Interesting.
- 1:38Tomochi Tawetawa Naewai, who I thought was a really interesting inclusion for me, which sort of is a smart choice just because he's so hard to stop getting over the vantage line. So, yeah, I think it's a big squad. You know, I think the thing that excites me is it's a real tour. So, you know, I don't know the logistics. I'll be really interested to see the logistics, but I imagine the team's going to travel together. Don't know.
- 2:05Yeah, I mean, I think they've named 44 players. I mean, the big inclusion was Simisi Tupo Tailoa, the number eight from Southland, who played for Moana Pacifica. Not a lot of us know a lot about him, but a real big ball-carrying number eight. And probably the big...
- 2:25talking point in terms of not being there is Duplicy, Karifi. Yeah, that was the biggest. I think that was the biggest omission. You know, I think everyone's talking about Duplicy's non-ability to play other positions.
- 2:41I don't really believe that too much because I think if you put him into another position, he could play it. I think these modern loose forwards, Victor can play all positions. So yeah, there's obviously something they're not liking about him. He's had a massive season for the Hurricanes. I thought he was very good.
- 3:02last year on tour so yeah he'll be struggling with that decision. Might be a line out decision, he might not be a line out forward but you know this sort of explanation that he can't play three positions, I mean they all play those positions now so I find that a bit hard to believe but yeah he'll be disappointed. How important Victor is it that all your loose forwards are line out options?
- 3:29Yeah, I don't think, I mean, we've used a guy like Heinrich Brousseau in my time. And yes, he wasn't a great line-out option, but you can still lift him. If there's no one next to him, they can be an option. So I think he can. I mean, he's not shorter than Henry Pollock. Henry Pollock, they use in the line-out. I mean, we've got Paul De Villiers that's really an open-sider that can only play that open-side role. He's just over the ball the whole time.
- 3:58So, yeah, it's interesting. I can't believe it's... The omission is because you can only play one position. I think there are certain positions that are... You need to have them in your team. An open-sider playing to the ball, over the ball, is one of them. And...
- 4:15So, yeah, it's interesting because what I've seen in super rugby was outstanding. But, yeah, I mean, we've got players in South Africa as well where somehow Rossi just sees something in them that he doesn't like and they don't get picked. So, I mean, that's why rugby is so interesting always because it's an opinion of a coach, of selectors. So, yeah, we don't always know what they think.
- 4:45Are you happy with the team that Rossi's picked for the South Africans for this tour? Yeah, it's still a very big squad. So it will be interesting how he's going to look at it. Is he going to play pretty much the same team? Will there be a lot of changes every week? For me, the interesting thing will be who's going to Argentina. We're playing Argentina this week or next week. I'm not 100% sure.
- 5:09And to see, will he send guys like Ibn Itzibet, Siakulisi, Sasha Feinberg and Gomazulu, will he send these guys that haven't played for a long time overseas or will he rather keep them in South Africa to prepare for that first test? So that's going to be interesting. So we're all waiting to see who's going to Argentina.
- 5:30There was an article, Victor, in Rugby Planet or somewhere I was reading saying that, you know, could it be the end of Sia Koalesi because we haven't seen him. Such an inspirational leader. I know that Rasi used him...
- 5:48sort of for 40 minutes or 42 minutes or 45 minutes in the past. But is there a few guys in the team, some of the veterans of the team that are under pressure, do you think? Or do you think he's just been resting them to get the best for the Test matches against the All Blacks?
- 6:05I think the thing is with Rossi, everyone's under pressure. If you don't perform, you won't play the next week. It doesn't matter who you are. And I think that's why we see some of our senior players really performing well every week. I think, again, if I look back to our days, there was a lot of games that weren't maybe...
- 6:24as big as some of the other games, and then your performance dropped a little bit, where Rossi, if you don't perform on the Saturday, you might not play again. So I think everyone is under pressure to perform, even if you see Akulisi or Iben Ezebet, but I still believe they will both go to the World Cup. We're one year away now,
- 6:43what they mean to the team. I mean, if Iben is in form, he's in a class of his own. Sia just keeping that team together. And I mean, I think we've seen it all over the years. If it was Sean Fitzpatrick, Franschop, Vina, John Smith, a lot of them came under pressure. Are they the best players in the team? But sometimes one man can make 15 guys play better. And so I think Sia is still very important for our squad.
- 7:10Yeah, it's interesting. I mean, you know, people sort of say, oh, he's there because he's a captain. But he's played 103 tests, I think. I mean, you don't play 103 tests if you're not good enough at that level.
- 7:21And he's different. He's not an out-and-out fetcher playing to the ball. But I mean, if you look at his work rate, his defense is really good. He's made some... I mean, if you think back about the Breslin' Ice Lions test series, the tackle he made over the trial line. It's just unbelievable. And he's actually a very good ball carrier for a smaller guy as well. So...
- 7:44I still think he'll be there. And again, maybe he's there. He's captain of the squad. Maybe he doesn't play as much. We don't know. Rossi will do whatever is the best for the team. But I think, I still believe he's important for our team going to the next World Cup.
- 8:02One of the big talking points out of the All Black announcement was that Ardy's going to join up with the team late. So they're going to give him a bit of a break and he's going to really be not involved in the provincial games and really bring him over as captain for the test matches. What are your thoughts? That's quite a big move. What do you think, J.K.?
- 8:26I think he's had back-to-back seasons. He's been on a financial sabbatical for two seasons in a row. I also think psychologically last year was really hard on him. I think he got blamed for some stuff that was really unfair around...
- 8:42you know, what happened with Razor. And so, you know, if he's psychologically tired and physically tired, then it makes sense. I mean, you know, I think it's a big call, you know. It's a big call when you're a traditionalist, and I'm a traditionalist, you know. Like the first question I opened up with is, is the team going to tour together? You know, and I keep going back to the Lions team
- 9:10you know, run by Sir Clive Woodward where the test side stayed in Auckland. And then, um, you know, the, the midweek team would go and play, you know, Bay of Plenty or whatever they did. And that was retrospectively criticized, but the game's changed so much. So, you know, I think if Artie needs a rest, then, you know, an extra week at home is going to get the best out of him for the test match. He's got enough respect within the team that they won't mind. Um,
- 9:37And yeah, and I think the other decision is, does it become a traditional tour? Do you have to pack your bags up every three days and move? You remember what it was like, Ricardo, eh? Like, you know, you'd play on a Saturday, up on Sunday morning, the whole team would pack up, you'd move, you know, then you'd play on a Tuesday night, you'd pack up again and move, like it's like...
- 9:58I don't know if they'll do that, whether they'll just base and travel, leave some of the guys behind. So I think that's really interested in modern touring and modern side. 44 players, I mean that's two bus loads. If you add the staff, you're looking at probably, you know, 60 people on tour. So that's a couple of bus loads. So she's a pretty big organisation, but to answer your question,
- 10:22So, you know, Artie's earned the right to have a break and he wouldn't have made that decision. It would have been the coaching staff, the physical staff, you know. So if we can get Artie at his very, very best for the three test matches, then so be it. I mean, it's a bit like, you know, what Russie's done over the last four test matches or five test matches, rotated the side. So, you know, someone like Sia, who's...
- 10:48who hasn't played will be chomping at the butt. So, yeah, I think it's a good choice if that's what they want to do and all the parties are happy. What do you think, Hector? Yeah, I must say rugby has changed so much. J.K. being a purist, I mean, in the old days it was –
- 11:05If the gym is like this, everyone needs to do the same. If the fitness is like this, everyone will do all the fitness. And I think it's changed so much these days about what's the best for each individual player. How can we get him to be the best on his Saturday? And if it is to stay at home for an extra week, if it is –
- 11:24You know what, this week you don't gym, you don't run, you don't get on the field, you just do the walkthroughs. The game has changed so much and you see it and every little, every guy gets managed differently. So, I think if they believe that's the best to do for him to be at his best when we get to the first test match, then well done to them.
- 11:47These days, I mean, we talk about a leader, but there's always a leadership group. He's just one of them running in front on the field. So I think that's probably good man management if that's what he needs to be at his best. We talk about touring. Can I just give a little insight to JK? So if JK doesn't bring his toothbrush on tour, he feels it's all right to use your toothbrush? We're teammates, aren't we?
- 12:17You got a problem with that, Ricardo? You go to use your toothbrush in the morning and it's wet and you go, did you use my toothbrush? He said, oh, yeah, I didn't bring mine. But what do you see? That's a problem. See, he's missing those tears. I'll see with my wife, but not just my roommate. Get up earlier, Ricardo. Get up earlier, mate. Mate, you brush your teeth on the way home. The one thing I can test...
- 12:45Myself and Bucky's birthday were so comfortable together. So he was right next to me doing number two while I was brushing my teeth in the mornings. And that was pretty... Didn't care. We were just roommates for a long time.
- 13:00There's an image that I could get out of my head very quickly. Thank you very much. What's it like in Pretoria with the Bulls, the idea that the All Blacks are coming to play the Bulls? Are the people of Pretoria excited by that opportunity?
- 13:19Yeah, I think everyone is excited. I've spoken to some of the players as well. I mean, we've got Curry Cup on the go at the moment. But all the big unions has almost like split their squads. So the squads were split in guys that will play Curry Cup and guys that's preparing just for the All Blacks.
- 13:39for that game and I've seen one of the more senior players of the Bull Squad and they are so excited. So yeah, I think it's going to be amazing, it's going to be great to get the All Blacks here. I always said it's a pity they don't pick, they must actually only get the Springboks together the week before so everyone can play for their provincial teams but I mean in these days the Test matches are so important so you won't see that but I mean a guy like Ambrose has been released to play
- 14:09So it will be a strong bull side, won't be the strongest, but hopefully they will be competitive. Hey, Victor, what is the, you know, you watch a lot of rugby around the world. What is, you know, what is the standard of the Curry Cup now? What's the standard of your provincial competition, do you think?
- 14:31Yeah, the Curry Cup is a development competition. The smaller unions or the guys that don't play in the URC are picking the strongest sides, the best sides. A guy like Fafta Klerk played for the Cheetahs last Friday night and he was outstanding.
- 14:48After that performance, I think he must be very close to the Springbok side. Again, he really changed the game he wanted for the Cheetahs. But the bigger unions that play in the URC, they don't play any of the URC players or any of the Springboks. So it's really a development competition, almost kind of like under-23s with one or two senior guys in there. So, again...
- 15:13Once we get to the semifinals, there might be more of the senior guys coming back into the teams. But I think for the bigger unions that play URC, it's a development competition. And I mean, again, it's opportunities. We've got a very strong school system. Then we've got Vasti Cup in South Africa that's really successful as well. And now the Curry Cup is almost a step.
- 15:38in between where the guys get developed and hopefully some of these players will come through and play UFC at the end of the year. Why was Faf left out in the first place? Because Russi's not really like that. I know he was playing in Japan, Victor, but that hasn't stopped Russi in the past. Did he just drop to number three or four, did he? Or...
- 16:00Yeah, I mean, that's why. I mean, there's a lot of talk in South Africa-wise. Ambrose Papino there as well. And I mean, if you look at the URC, Ambrose was probably the best South African player in the URC. But unfortunately, he's just not up there in the picking order. I think we've got Williams, Grant Williams. We've got Kourbis Reinhardt.
- 16:21that's just ahead of them. And I can't remember who said that. And the third one is Mourne from Wake. So unfortunately, I think Faf and Ambrose, they can play for the Springboks any time, but at this stage, they're just number four and five. J.K., you've obviously, because you're really old, you played in these old-fashioned tours and provincial games. The All Blacks need to understand that when they're playing the Bulls or whatever, that these guys are going to play the game of their life. This is...
- 16:50This is their test match. This is the most important game ever, and they will lift 300%. I just want to say the Bulls have beaten the All Blacks twice already. Just saying. Yeah, thank you for reminding me, Victor. That's outstanding of you. Thank you very much. I think I might have been there when one of those happened. Almost like double world champions twice. We like doing things.
- 17:19Yeah. I was actually quite liking you this morning, Victor. And I think you've won the World Cup quite a few times as well. Is that right? Yeah, exactly. You want to mention that now before I answer? Yeah.
- 17:32Yeah, look, one thing you've got to remember, Ricardo, on a tour like this is that the All Blacks are also playing for test spots, you know. It was pretty hectic. Like you say, I'm old. Like in my day, you know, the halfbacks and the wingers would only take three on tour and two halfbacks on tour, three wingers, two halfbacks. So a lot of us, we had to rotate and play during the week. But I remember in France in 19...
- 18:0090, I think it was. You know, 91? Might have been 91. No, 90. Yeah, 1990. I was under pressure to get selected, and so I was playing midweek to get into the test side. So, yeah, I think the Bulls are going to get up for it. They're going to have the...
- 18:20the game of their life, but also you've got to realise that there's guys in that all-black side that are playing for the legacy. I mean, you lose one of those midweek games, a lot of those guys never got selected again, you know. Seriously, you know, seriously. You think about, you know, poor old Pat Lamb. I don't think he played again after that game. And where were we up in Gosford or something?
- 18:46Penrith, yeah, Penrith. Midweek game. So yeah, I think it's going to be really tough, but also the All Blacks are playing for test spots, and I think that's an exciting time, and a lot of these young guys are going to have to prove themselves and prove themselves under pressure. If you can prove yourself midweek, you know, you're playing for a bench spot, you're playing for a starting spot, so I think it's really interesting.
- 19:11You must be excited about the opportunity to maybe dust off your boots, Victor, hearing that Ma Nonu is coming back to play for the Sharks. Yeah, that was interesting to see. Actually, there was a post yesterday with JP Peterson, who's the coach now. He's 40 years old and Ma is 44. So, yeah, really interesting signing. Look, I think…
- 19:37I know he's 44, but I think to get him into the system and just to tap some of his knowledge is maybe not a bad idea. I don't know how much he will play, but I mean to get him there, to get his knowledge of the game, to get some of the IP out of him. He's got a lot of knowledge about the game and he's a fantastic player. And the few times I've seen him play for Tullo.
- 20:02This last year is maybe not the Manono that we knew when he was playing for the All-backs, but he's still not a bad player.
- 20:12Yeah, I think it's a great transition for Ma'a. I just think he's been an amazing athlete. I mean, I love the guy I coached him. He's an amazing man. I think it's a great transition for him to be sort of mentor player. I hope he's more mentor than player because I think that's an important role for him.
- 20:35He's got the rest of his career ahead of him from a non-playing point of view, which is, you know, Victor will say this, it's even for the most balanced person, it's still a pretty scary time. And although Ma has played, you know, to the highest level at 44, he still, you know, has a life ahead of him and what that might look like. You know, I faced the same, Victor faced the same.
- 21:00End of my career, you know, I didn't want to go back to being a butcher, did I? So I had to do something. I went into management. So I think it's a really good transition for Ma'a as well. I think it's a win-win. I think it's smart. You know, he's got a heck of a lot of knowledge. He runs a hard ship. He's so disciplined, you know. To play till you're 44, you know, he'll lead by example. So, yeah, I think it's a good call.
- 21:25JK, can I just, did you imply that when you retired that you went and got a job? Well, I was manager of the Blues actually, Ricardo, so I picked up and washed the jerseys for a while. That's right, that's right. But you still don't have a regular job, do you?
- 21:44No, no. Someone said to me, are you retired, JK? And I said, well, don't you have to start work to retire? Like, how does that work? You've done that well. You've done that very well. I thought, you know, obviously with the tour coming up, probably –
- 22:00Over the next week, I'd like the two of you to understand a bit of a bet I think we should have between the two of you. You know, the winner of the series. You know, maybe sit down over a Clippies and Coke and work out what the winner gets, what the loser gets. But for a Clipdrift moment, I thought we'd do it a bit different this week. And I haven't given you any warning. I've already searched for my moment all day.
- 22:23I've searched for my moment, Ricardo. Okay, well, you can do your moment, and then I'll ask you for a second moment. So what's your Clip Drift moment of the week, JK?
- 22:33If you go and have a look at the video of Josh Jacobs explaining when he rung his parents and got selected, like it's just a beautiful moment. And for me, it just shows how important it still is to...
- 22:57to become an all black and how much hard work goes into it from a family and just how beautiful it was. I mean, I just think that's my, that's my clippies moment of the week, just cause it makes me feel very proud that there's still, and I don't know why I didn't think there wasn't, and I probably didn't think it wasn't, but I think it's just a beautiful moment. So if you could find that clip and allowed to use it, Ricardo, it's pretty cool. Can you remember telling your parents that you were in all black? JK?
- 23:25Yeah, I can remember. I had a bit of a false start because I got told I was in the All Blacks the year before. I got told before the last game of the year that I was in the All Blacks. I rushed home and I said to Dad, Dad, you know, I said to Mum and Dad, I've been named in the All Blacks and
- 23:42and my dad said, well, I wouldn't believe anyone until you hear it on the wireless, son. Wireless, Victor, is a name for it. My dad used to use it for radio. I don't know if you use them in South Africa. And so I didn't sleep all night because I thought I was going to be an All Black, and I woke up the next morning and listened to the team, and I wasn't named because I got told that Bernie Fraser couldn't find a driver for his truck, so he'd pulled out of the All Blacks, and I was selected. This was in...
- 24:12um 1983 and uh yeah they found him a truck driver overnight so I'm listening to the wireless as my dad would say and I wasn't named and I remember turning to my dad and I was absolutely shattered and um he said well son you know you know obviously uh obviously an important lesson for you to learn but it really gave me a kick in the ass and I worked pretty hard to be named so yeah the next time I was named I remember it was pretty special
- 24:41Victor, what's your clip drift moment of the week? Clip drift moment? I was just seeing Fafteklark back in the Curry Cup. I mean, he was outstanding. I commentated on that game, and he just controlled it, and then he got an intercept try, and he still had the pace to run 50 meters and score the try. So, yeah, that intercept try of Fafteklark. What I wanted to do for another clip drift moment is...
- 25:09What was your favourite moment, start with you, JK, of your all-black South Africa relationship? I think it was a...
- 25:24Pretty special moment for me because I never thought I'd tour South Africa. So I think on the field, I don't like talking about myself, but I scored a try against the Springboks on a special angle off Frank Bunce. And it was one of those weeks where South Africa's an incredibly difficult team to attack against because...
- 25:51Even Jonah struggled, right? So that's how tough it is to play against South Africa. But we'd been practising a really, really tight line, and that came off, so that was a pretty special moment. And winning that first Test series after the boycott was pretty special, but it was just a completely special time for me because I never thought I'd tour there. I turned down the Cavaliers tour, obviously,
- 26:20Me and David Kirk didn't go on that. So I never thought I'd tour again. So for me to, you know, I used to get up in the morning, you know, I used to watch, you know, the 70s tour. And for me, watching Brian Williams sidestep under the goalposts,
- 26:36I just couldn't believe. I mean, for me, Victor, as a winger, you know, in New Zealand, conservative New Zealand, to see Brian Williams go around under the post and then sidestep someone in the dead ball area and score was like, for a young kid, for me, was that, wow, you know. That is an amazing courage. That is a guy who's just running with freedom, you know, running on instinct, which I thought was beautiful. So, yeah, it was just a really special time, Rakata.
- 27:04And what about the clip drift moment of your career against the All Blacks? Yeah, a clip drift moment against the All Blacks probably. I mean, we had a very tough... It was a very tough race to beat the All Blacks. We didn't do it a lot. And then I had the opportunity, John Smith were injured in 2008 and I was captain of the team and we went to Dunedin. I don't think...
- 27:33the Springbok has won there like in 20 or 30 years. So went over, got the opportunity. My captain got a yellow court with eight minutes to go. We were behind. But then Ricky January went down the blind side, gave the little chip, caught it, scored, and to get our first victory in the springbok,
- 27:53New Zealand and Dunedin, which was a very tough place to play, was really special. So I think, yeah, any victory over the All-backs is special, but that one on the home self for the first time, getting a victory in New Zealand was just really special. What was the yellow card for?
- 28:14I can't even remember. It's a long time. You're about to punch in those days. Probably a punch. Jordan had to be a punch. It was probably some professional foul or something. Yeah. I was annoyed at that. The only other thing I'd like to mention, Ricardo, is that my last test match, which you helped to get me dropped from the All Blacks afterwards, if you remember,
- 28:38That was my last game for the All Blacks was a draw at Eden Park, Victor. So it was 19 all. Yeah, and there was one player who got dropped that week, and that was me, and I was a winger. But Ricciardo had a lot to do with that.
- 28:51Someone used to get blamed. Yeah, well, you know, just take some responsibility, mate. That's all I'm saying, you know. It's important. Anyway, a couple of good pieces of news. We've got a subscription platform which you can all subscribe for, which I'll give you some details on next week.
- 29:10But that will be on rugbyrivals.com. And also, JK is such a generous man. And Victor, when I work out how to do this, I want you to just we've got we've got a present coming our way. Watch this video. So, Mark, you've seen the photo of Ricardo and I saw and Victor, who, you know, I know. Yeah. So what do you think, mate? It's our job.
- 29:39We try our best. Okay, yeah, we're going to have to try our best. I'm allowed to choose the colors for Riccardo. I think that would suit Riccardo. It's a bit too small, though. Too small. What about these? Oh, these look cool. It's cool. This is like mine.
- 29:57Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I reckon that's... Yeah. That's you, Victor. Beautiful, mate. Yeah, Ricardo is... This one's very good. Classic. Yeah. I need one to be green, huh? He's got a pretty round head, though. Is that okay? No, I think we can put darker lenses. Maybe dark frame. You know, Ricardo is Italian, so we can make him look mafia. More stylish, yeah.
- 30:22Well, maybe light as well because then we can wear them on the show, all of us. Oh, as well? We're out glasses, yeah. Okay. So, Victor, we're trying to work it out for you. We think we've got Ricardo. This is Ricardo. And Marco… Cut off. Thank you, J.K. Mate, I tell you what, you guys… I need to be reading 1.5. 1.5.
- 30:471.5, no, no, I'm going to get you, you see? No, that's way too small for you. How does it work? Yeah, I know, but this is like from the garage. It's like 50 Rand. I've got like three bears lying around everywhere. So tell us what the story is, JK. Eh? What's the story? Who is this guy? And do we have to look like you?
- 31:09No, no, no, see that's the whole thing, Ricardo. This is not just something where you go and pay 50 rand and like, where are yours? Yours will be there somewhere too. Yours look ridiculous as well, Ricardo. This was a very, very important thing because Iubabiere who make our glasses, it's all handmade, so those boys are now gonna go away, they've studied your faces and they're gonna create a pair of
- 31:32personalized glasses for you. What I said was that these go light and dark, so I'm gonna start you off with just a pair of sunglasses, guys, so that if everyone says, oh, you're such a good looking man, Ricardo, and wow, you're so good looking, Victor, then you could put your 1.5 into them and then wear them all the time like I do. Okay, perfect. Thank you. Thank you, J.K. And where is that guy?
- 32:01He's in Treviso where I live, mate. That's Marco, that guy. It's Marco, he's a good looking man. And he loves, so yeah, Il Baviere is handmade glasses. They're off San Marco Square. So Antonio is in the shop in Venice and we have another shop here in Treviso. So you go in there and he's got three or four young guys who hand make the glasses.
- 32:25And so you can go online as well and shape. He's also expanded. He goes to New York a wee bit and stuff. So, yeah, they're pretty cool. So all the people that have been abusing you for how you look with your glasses are now going to be abusing Victor and me as well. Yeah, exactly. That's the whole plan. Never be alone in your abuse. Thank you so much. Where are they?
- 32:54They're handmade. You can't just go and buy them off the shelf. Just be patient, Ricardo. Be patient. Before we go, can you tell me a little bit about subscription? Thanks for sharing that with us. So how does that work? I'm going to explain it. We're going to launch it next week, but we're just giving people a little bit of expertise. That was a teaser, was it? That was a teaser. Yes.
- 33:18It's a teaser, yeah, yeah. Okay. And I'm still recovering from you accusing Victor of having a big head. That was a bit harsh. Well, I didn't mean it in an offensive way, but he's got a big head, not in a vain way, but he's a big man. What about the hair, right? Like I said, he's a big man with a big head. Just like you've got a round head, Ricardo, you know? Everyone's got a round head.
- 33:43No, no, yours is particularly round. Anyway, you'll look a million dollars, boys. You'll look a million dollars. Thank you, JK. Oh, well, it's getting closer, boys. The All Blacks have been named. The South Africans have been named. JK's ordered us new glasses. The subscription platform on rugbyrolls.com is getting ready to go. It's like Christmas. The Clippies are getting cold. The Clippies and Coke is getting ready. It's all happening.
- 34:11When are we having a bet? When are we betting about the series? Next week, you've got to think about what the forfeit is for the loser. And I think it's important that you're gentle on Victor too. Yeah. We're not losing, so we can go big. 3-1 is a loss. You will think you've won if you get one out of four. What do you reckon 3-1? Is that what you're picking?
- 34:38If you're lucky, yeah. I love that humility. I mean, I don't like a four-test series, but anyway, because you can have two all. Is that what your pick is? No, I didn't say that. What do you think, Ricardo? That's what he's hoping for. Yeah, and I don't want to say 4-0 to the All Blacks just yet. I mean, we'll do that next week. Thank you.
