- 0:40SPEAKER_02: Welcome back to Reality We've Got Thoughts.
- 0:43SPEAKER_02: This is our Wednesday episode, and we're really excited because everybody's been so supportive listening to these first few episodes.
- 0:52SPEAKER_02: And it's been really fun launching with Earl Meets World.
- 0:56SPEAKER_02: And we do have a little left to recap of the last few episodes.
- 1:00SPEAKER_02: But we're excited because I'm Susan.
- 1:02SPEAKER_02: I'm Debbie.
- 1:03SPEAKER_02: And we're here to break down all of your reality TV, not just Earl Meets World.
- 1:08SPEAKER_02: So it's been pretty exciting that there's a lot of other stuff coming up that we're going to start talking about.
- 1:13SPEAKER_02: We're going to get into the Dancing with the Stars premiere that was last night, right?
- 1:17SPEAKER_02: And again, tonight, isn't it?
- 1:19SPEAKER_02: Or is it Yes, and tonight is part two with the ladies.
- 1:22SPEAKER_02: We had the men last night competing with an elimination and the ladies tonight.
- 1:27SPEAKER_02: We've also got the big night.
- 1:29SPEAKER_02: Today is an exciting day because the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City are back.
- 1:34SPEAKER_02: Yay! You excited for that one?
- 1:35SPEAKER_02: I'm very excited for it.
- 1:37SPEAKER_02: And then we also are going to be getting into all the other stuff.
- 1:40SPEAKER_02: We've got um a new episode, a new season, I'm sorry, of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
- 1:46SPEAKER_02: We've got still, we're gonna get in with some of the things that have been going on: Real Housewives of Orange County, Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, Next Gen NYC reunions coming up this week.
- 1:59SPEAKER_02: Um Rony is back.
- 2:01SPEAKER_02: So there's a lot going on.
- 2:02SPEAKER_02: And I'm just gonna tell you now, I am a chump.
- 2:06SPEAKER_02: So my personal favorite for those of you, if you know, you know, still flipping out is coming back or is coming on.
- 2:14SPEAKER_02: Flipping out be all over it, right?
- 2:17SPEAKER_02: And so it's gonna be really, really fun.
- 2:20SPEAKER_02: So I do want to go ahead and turn it over to Debbie because we're gonna talk about dancing with the stars first.
- 2:26SPEAKER_02: And Debbie is definitely our resident expert when it comes to this show.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Well, the show is my favorite because my daughter that's a freshman in college and I, this was our Tuesday night activity when she'd get home from dance class.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: We would sit down and watch Dancing with the Stars together.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: So we each sent each other a screenshot last night that we were missing our watch buddy.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: But it's fun to have a new season.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: It's great.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: I love that there's so many dancers this year that have actual dance backgrounds and or at least some dance experience because it makes it that much more competitive and fun to watch.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: Um, what did you think of the first episode?
- 3:04SPEAKER_02: I liked it.
- 3:05SPEAKER_02: I am, I'm not a purist.
- 3:07SPEAKER_02: I don't watch every single season, and but I was definitely planning on watching this season um for two people that were my preseason, not favorites, but reason to watch was Jackson Olsen from Savannah Bananas and Mora, because I was a huge traders fan um the last couple seasons.
- 3:26SPEAKER_02: So those were the two I wanted to watch.
- 3:28SPEAKER_02: So I thought it was pretty good so far.
- 3:30SPEAKER_02: Well, how about Tanner Hansen?
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: All I could see was mmm bop the whole time you were there.
- 3:34SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, right?
- 3:35SPEAKER_02: Yes, yes.
- 3:36SPEAKER_02: And people were talking about his hair.
- 3:38SPEAKER_02: Taylor Hansen, I'm sorry.
- 3:39SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's okay, Taylor.
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: Taylor Tanner.
- 3:41SPEAKER_02: I couldn't at first I was like, who is that?
- 3:44SPEAKER_02: And then when he started to explain, it's just funny when you see someone who you knew as like a child perform young performer and now they're an adult.
- 3:51SPEAKER_02: It's so hard to put him in that that category.
- 3:53SPEAKER_02: And apparently he's got like seven children.
- 3:55SPEAKER_02: Did you know that?
- 3:56SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: Which is he close to our age then?
- 4:00SPEAKER_02: He must be.
- 4:01SPEAKER_02: Maybe.
- 4:02SPEAKER_02: He looks young still.
- 4:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he looked he look he he looked good.
- 4:06SPEAKER_02: So, of course, we um the when you started, the first person to go was Jackson.
- 4:14SPEAKER_02: So, what did you think?
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: I don't think he could have pair been paired with anyone better for him than Emma.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: I think he and Emma have great chemistry together.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: I love her.
- 4:23SPEAKER_01: Uh I think she can really feed off his enthusiasm.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: Uh their dance I thought was really entertaining, and I loved the nod to the Savannah bananas with their yellow costumes.
- 4:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I thought it was really good.
- 4:34SPEAKER_02: Now, please tell me that obviously we're gonna see some variety from him.
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: They're not gonna be able to pull the yellow the entire time, right?
- 4:42SPEAKER_02: He's not gonna only wear yellow.
- 4:43SPEAKER_01: No, not at all.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: But I do think he had a disadvantage where he had to go first because I feel like they scored him really low because he was the first one to go.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: Because as we got further in the night, they started scoring higher for some that I thought Jackson actually did better than.
- 4:59SPEAKER_02: I agree.
- 5:00SPEAKER_02: I I absolutely agree.
- 5:01SPEAKER_02: I was disappointed with the scores.
- 5:03SPEAKER_02: I know that the judges warned us that they were gonna be scoring more stringently at the beginning of the season, but I was of course upset with him, with him being being a favorite.
- 5:13SPEAKER_02: So it's funny because if you don't know the Savannah Bananas, it is this kind of entertainment baseball um league that goes out and does entertaining.
- 5:24SPEAKER_02: A lot of people compare it to the Harlem Globetrotters and that, and they've actually created an entire league now with all these different teams, and the Savannah Bananas is like the main one, and they call it Banana Ball.
- 5:35SPEAKER_02: But apparently not everybody knows that.
- 5:38SPEAKER_02: It seems to me like everyone knows that, but apparently not everybody does.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: I think it's very common in the South, and because we're in the South, we really hear well, Savannah's in it started in Savannah, Georgia, which is close to us.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: So I think it's very common here.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: But they're really making a name for themselves throughout the country.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: So I think, especially with the season and Jackson being on it, it's gonna just explode.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:59SPEAKER_02: I mean, if you don't know, if you're listening and you don't know anything about them, like look it up.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: It's pretty amazing.
- 6:04SPEAKER_02: They're so entertaining, and just the whole business model from um, you know, the person that started it, it's pretty insane.
- 6:12SPEAKER_02: They literally sell out huge college stadiums of 80,000 people for their shows, for their games slash shows.
- 6:20SPEAKER_02: They've had, and Derek Huff has been a guest.
- 6:22SPEAKER_02: Like, there's been all these celebrities that have gone to different locations.
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: They now have a Broadway star on the team.
- 6:29SPEAKER_02: Um, they really have done a lot.
- 6:31SPEAKER_02: I did get to go, but I only got to go to one of the lower level shows with two of the other games.
- 6:37SPEAKER_02: I keep calling it a show because it was a show, but it was really entertaining.
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: It's a full production.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:42SPEAKER_02: So I think it's pretty cool for them to have this platform.
- 6:45SPEAKER_02: Um, what about his girlfriend?
- 6:47SPEAKER_02: Do you know who Jackson Olsen's girlfriend is?
- 6:49SPEAKER_02: No, please sure.
- 6:50SPEAKER_02: Oh, I feel like I know something you don't know.
- 6:53SPEAKER_02: Um, again, because I'm a geek and I love Wheel of Fortune.
- 6:58SPEAKER_02: I love Wheel of Fortune, I love Vanna, I loved Pat Sayjak, and of course now it's it's fun that Ryan Seacrest took over.
- 7:05SPEAKER_02: But Jackson is going out with none other than Maggie Sajak.
- 7:08SPEAKER_02: I had no idea.
- 7:09SPEAKER_02: Pat's daughter, who works on the show, and pretty much, I don't know if it's been formally said, but pretty much everyone, all the the wheel watchers think that she will take over for Vanna if and when Vanna ever retires.
- 7:24SPEAKER_02: Of course, I think that Vanna is gonna is not gonna retire anytime soon.
- 7:29SPEAKER_02: But she's so grateful.
- 7:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but they are a cute couple if you don't follow them on Instagram.
- 7:35SPEAKER_02: Was she in the audience last night?
- 7:36SPEAKER_02: I think she was.
- 7:37SPEAKER_02: I was, yeah, I'm pretty sure she was.
- 7:40SPEAKER_02: They are they're adorable.
- 7:41SPEAKER_02: He had this whole thing on his Instagram about finding a girlfriend and everything.
- 7:45SPEAKER_02: But anyway, we can talk more about that.
- 7:47SPEAKER_02: Oh, one more thing before we move on from Jackson.
- 7:50SPEAKER_02: Something came up again that I mentioned in an episode, a previous episode, was Riz.
- 7:56SPEAKER_02: Was it was it Bruno that said he had Riz?
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: He had Riz.
- 8:00SPEAKER_02: And again, we were like, what is Riz?
- 8:02SPEAKER_02: I still didn't know what Riz is, so I had to look it up and it's slang for like charisma or charm, especially the ability to attract or flirt with someone.
- 8:12SPEAKER_02: Like he has Riz, he's really charming, flirtatious, he knows how to win people over.
- 8:18SPEAKER_02: Or if you say someone has no Riz, that means not very smooth or charming.
- 8:24SPEAKER_02: And this makes sense, which I had no idea.
- 8:26SPEAKER_02: It comes from charisma, Riz, charisma.
- 8:30SPEAKER_02: So I was yesterday years old when I learned that because when I heard them say it on the show, I was like, I've got to figure out because when they talked about it on Earl Mutter.
- 8:39SPEAKER_02: How did your girls not share this with you?
- 8:40SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 8:41SPEAKER_02: They are they are really hard.
- 8:42SPEAKER_02: You know their friends are listening, going, You guys are idiots.
- 8:44SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 8:45SPEAKER_02: They're supposed to keep me up to date on this thing.
- 8:47SPEAKER_02: You and I have to have some benefit from having kids in that generation.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 8:53SPEAKER_01: Oh okay.
- 8:54SPEAKER_01: All right, well, let's move on to the next one, which was Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess.
- 9:00SPEAKER_01: I didn't know who Tyler was.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: I didn't either.
- 9:04SPEAKER_01: I did not either.
- 9:05SPEAKER_01: I had no background.
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: He was on the bachelorette, apparently.
- 9:09SPEAKER_02: And he's in he was in is he still in the NFL?
- 9:13SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: That's a we need to delve into that.
- 9:15SPEAKER_01: We need to look down.
- 9:15SPEAKER_01: I did not, I did, I did not um anyway.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: His performance was entertaining, but he was very stiff.
- 9:22SPEAKER_01: It was clear that it was awkward and uncomfortable for him.
- 9:25SPEAKER_01: But he did have a little bit of prior dance experience because he mentioned that um he took dance classes in college to put to get his GPA up, but then he fell in love with it and said that he hopes one day when he has kids that he's gonna encourage them to get into dance because it was so much fun and helped him learn how to work with his body more.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: So he'll be an interesting watch this season.
- 9:44SPEAKER_01: I think.
- 9:45SPEAKER_02: He will he will be.
- 9:46SPEAKER_02: He he will be, and um, and I did not think he should have gotten a higher score than Jackson.
- 9:51SPEAKER_02: So I agree with you, and I think that you know, maybe the judges look at him like people think he's good looking or or whatever.
- 9:58SPEAKER_02: Seems nice enough.
- 9:59SPEAKER_02: Definitely didn't come away with him as being one of my favorites from last night.
- 10:03SPEAKER_02: Agreed.
- 10:05SPEAKER_02: Next up we had Connor Levitt with Adele Stakeman.
- 10:10SPEAKER_02: Did Garmo go next?
- 10:11SPEAKER_02: Not to correct you, or was I I must have had him out of order.
- 10:13SPEAKER_02: Connor is next.
- 10:14SPEAKER_02: Okay, sorry.
- 10:15SPEAKER_02: Is that right?
- 10:17SPEAKER_02: Probably that's part of Connor Levitz.
- 10:19SPEAKER_01: And Adele was on the next pro.
- 10:21SPEAKER_01: Is that correct?
- 10:22SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: Yes, and I didn't know who she was either because I had never watched the next one.
- 10:26SPEAKER_02: I did not watch the next pro.
- 10:27SPEAKER_01: But um, Connor's background is not dance, he's a magician, and has that's where most of his experiences interacting, and also from the secret lives of Mormon Wives.
- 10:39SPEAKER_01: His wife is Whitney, who was the controversial one in in season, at least the first couple seasons, and then she went on to gain her own type of fame and appeared as Roxy in Chicago on Broadway.
- 10:52SPEAKER_02: Oh, I didn't realize that.
- 10:54SPEAKER_02: And then she was on Dancing with the Stars last year.
- 10:56SPEAKER_02: And she was on Dancing with the Stars last year.
- 10:57SPEAKER_02: So last year did she make it.
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: Connor danced with Whitney in one of the dance in one of the last dances or close to the last dances, and I thought it was beautiful the way they danced together.
- 11:08SPEAKER_02: So she made it far last year.
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: She made it far, she made it very far.
- 11:12SPEAKER_01: Uh his performance last night was the most painful thing for me to watch.
- 11:21SPEAKER_02: All I could think about during his performance was they did her, they did Adele Dirty giving.
- 11:27SPEAKER_02: Yes, they did.
- 11:28SPEAKER_02: Giving, assigning him as her partner.
- 11:31SPEAKER_02: It's almost did they know this and they did it on purpose because she's brand new?
- 11:35SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 11:35SPEAKER_01: I don't think so because when he danced with Whitney last year, they like they looked good and he looked great out there and like he was having fun, but there was just something so off about his performance.
- 11:45SPEAKER_02: And he talked about it and they showed a clip that he actually was in a hip-hop, he was in some sort of off-Broadway performance, but it was a hip-hop dance.
- 11:54SPEAKER_02: It was hip-hop dance.
- 11:55SPEAKER_02: It didn't have anything to do with ballroom.
- 11:57SPEAKER_02: But um, but I definitely I definitely felt bad for Adele because here she is, she wins this competition.
- 12:03SPEAKER_02: She's probably so pumped.
- 12:04SPEAKER_02: It was cute that Connor knew exactly who she was.
- 12:07SPEAKER_02: He's like, I've I followed your journey winning the competition.
- 12:10SPEAKER_02: But she does still get to stay and be in the dance troupe, and maybe next season she'll get a little luckier.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: Um it's just unfortunate her very first time as a pro that she gets that.
- 12:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 12:21SPEAKER_02: The judges did not like it.
- 12:23SPEAKER_02: They were like, they loved their enthusiasm, they said it was chaotic, they said you need to focus.
- 12:28SPEAKER_02: Um, you know, so yeah, the judges were not liking that.
- 12:31SPEAKER_01: But he wasn't the lowest score of the night either.
- 12:35SPEAKER_01: So clearly when when the fans voted, yeah, they just didn't love him either.
- 12:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I agree.
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: All right, so then next up, how do we feel about Guillermo and Whitney's performance?
- 12:49SPEAKER_02: I was surprised.
- 12:51SPEAKER_02: I was surprised um that that it was it was cute, like for what it for what it is.
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: I kind of loved him.
- 12:57SPEAKER_01: Like he just kind of put himself out there and said, I'm roly-poly, I'm gonna, I'm not a dancer, uh, my stomach's gonna get in the way, but I'm here to have fun.
- 13:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and this is definitely like nepotism at its finest because you've got him being Jimmy Kimmel's sidekick.
- 13:16SPEAKER_02: Last year you had Andy Richter, who obviously ended up being a fan favorite.
- 13:20SPEAKER_02: So then people are comparing them, but I don't think, you know, it reminds me of when Jimmy Kimmel's mom went on the Golden Bachelor.
- 13:29SPEAKER_02: Was it his mom or his aunt?
- 13:30SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry, guys.
- 13:31SPEAKER_02: I don't remember.
- 13:32SPEAKER_02: Okay, I apologize.
- 13:33SPEAKER_02: It was either his mom or his aunt got the Nepo spot because of the whole ABC thing on the Golden Bachelor and was very quickly eliminated.
- 13:42SPEAKER_02: And you had the feeling that it was completely on purpose, that it was just like so.
- 13:45SPEAKER_02: I was actually at first thinking, is Guillermo gonna be immediately plus they gave him the pregnant partner, which I know that um and what's her name?
- 13:56SPEAKER_02: You know okay, you the um you know the Whitney did not plan to get pregnant.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: Ooh, so you know the T.
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: It was not it was not in on her bingo card to get pregnant this year, so that was a surprise for her as well that she would be expecting during filming.
- 14:11SPEAKER_01: So who's the baby daddy?
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: Her husband, she's married.
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: She's married, okay.
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: She's married, yeah.
- 14:15SPEAKER_01: It's her husband, but she has other kids.
- 14:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm the neophyte of dancing with the children.
- 14:19SPEAKER_02: She's got other kids.
- 14:19SPEAKER_01: She's got a family, so okay.
- 14:22SPEAKER_01: It just became it was very unexpected.
- 14:25SPEAKER_02: I don't see Guillermo making it too far.
- 14:27SPEAKER_01: But I do see where he's getting all the comparisons to Andy Richter.
- 14:30SPEAKER_01: I think he's gonna be the soft spot for people just because of his personality.
- 14:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's so sweet.
- 14:35SPEAKER_02: His family was I loved seeing his family cheering him on, and they had the cute little head, the heads on the sticks with that.
- 14:41SPEAKER_02: Like it was really cute.
- 14:43SPEAKER_01: It was cute.
- 14:43SPEAKER_01: So I see him staying for a couple weeks.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: Definitely not to the end, but I see him staying for a couple weeks.
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: All right, our next man up was Ezra and Daniela.
- 14:54SPEAKER_01: Ezra, a little background if you didn't watch, Ezra is a Paralympian.
- 14:58SPEAKER_01: He's a full amputee on one leg, and he was born with some deformities on his left hand, I believe.
- 15:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he only had one finger.
- 15:08SPEAKER_01: And when they amputated his leg, they took his big toe and made a thumb out of it on his.
- 15:12SPEAKER_01: So it's insane.
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: It's amazing.
- 15:15SPEAKER_02: The disabilities that he's been able to um he's a record holder, he's a Paralympian record holder for his the track events that he does.
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: When they got done with their dance, like I got emotional watching them.
- 15:27SPEAKER_01: Like it was amazing to see what Daniela could do to work around his disability and make him shine and make him just look incredible.
- 15:35SPEAKER_01: I thought it was wonderful.
- 15:37SPEAKER_02: It it was so it it's just so inspiring.
- 15:40SPEAKER_02: It's so inspiring.
- 15:42SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's like to me, he's my he was my new favorite after that.
- 15:47SPEAKER_02: He was my new favorite.
- 15:48SPEAKER_02: It just made me think in a world where people just want to complain about everything and feel sorry for themselves.
- 15:54SPEAKER_02: I love a story like this.
- 15:55SPEAKER_02: I love seeing a story like this.
- 15:57SPEAKER_02: Um, it was funny because before he even brought it up, I was, of course, thinking of Amy Purdy, because that is a season I did watch.
- 16:05SPEAKER_02: And um I and of course, she, if you don't know, she went to the finals.
- 16:09SPEAKER_02: Derek was her partner.
- 16:11SPEAKER_02: They did very well.
- 16:12SPEAKER_02: Now her she has a little bit different disability because she has both her legs are gone, but they're underneath her knee.
- 16:18SPEAKER_02: So she does have control.
- 16:19SPEAKER_02: I thought it was so fascinating that Ezra, his amputation was so high up that he, it's very hard for him to control his prosthetics, and he had and he we got to see how he has the two different ones and all of that.
- 16:32SPEAKER_02: Um, I actually got to meet Amy Purdy um back in the time frame that she was on that show.
- 16:38SPEAKER_02: And again, that was inspiring.
- 16:39SPEAKER_02: So it's great to see somebody else going out there proving that you just gotta go for it and do and do something.
- 16:47SPEAKER_01: So I I think he was great.
- 16:49SPEAKER_01: He was fantastic.
- 16:51SPEAKER_01: I mean, I like I said, I got emotional watching it because I just couldn't believe like it made me feel it made me feel bad for feeling like my life is difficult.
- 17:00SPEAKER_02: Right, exactly.
- 17:01SPEAKER_02: Like we it's something we can all get behind because we can go, you know what, if Ezra is out there doing this and and being so positive and such a handsome guy, seems like wonderful personality and worked so hard.
- 17:12SPEAKER_01: Well, and I loved it when they first met and he was talking about you know how Amy her ampute amputation was below the knee, so she had that mobility that he did not have.
- 17:20SPEAKER_01: And he's like, look, he said, if I move a certain way, I might fall over, but I'm not afraid of that.
- 17:24SPEAKER_01: Like it's fine.
- 17:25SPEAKER_01: Good for him.
- 17:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was it was awesome.
- 17:27SPEAKER_01: So amazing.
- 17:29SPEAKER_01: And the judges loved it too.
- 17:30SPEAKER_01: The judges, Bruno's reactions are always some of my favorites because when he's so dramatic with them.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was so funny.
- 17:38SPEAKER_02: So yeah.
- 17:38SPEAKER_02: Now, okay, let me ask you one thing before we move on.
- 17:41SPEAKER_02: You know more about the technical dance stuff than me for sure.
- 17:46SPEAKER_02: I thought they seemed to do really great, considering like I thought it was really good, even though he's doing that.
- 17:52SPEAKER_02: Did you yes, he did phenomenal?
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: Well, even Bruno even brought it up.
- 17:56SPEAKER_01: He said, You were leading the whole way, where I would expect him, Daniela, to have to do a lot of the like leading because of his his mobility issues.
- 18:06SPEAKER_01: And Bruno even noticed that he led the whole way.
- 18:08SPEAKER_01: And Carrie Ann mentioned how they she loved how they thought outside of the box, and he can't move as comfortably or as easily forward and backwards, but he can move side to side easy.
- 18:19SPEAKER_01: So they just modified it, and it was I thought it was really, really cool to watch.
- 18:23SPEAKER_01: That was cool.
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: All right, our next step was Connor Wood and Riley Arnold.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: So this season was tricky because there were two Connors, Connor Leva and Connor Wood.
- 18:37SPEAKER_01: What did you know about Connor Wood going into this?
- 18:40SPEAKER_02: I knew nothing.
- 18:41SPEAKER_02: I feel I feel like I feel like I had seen him on social media, maybe, but I really did not know him.
- 18:49SPEAKER_02: I really did not know him.
- 18:51SPEAKER_02: But I loved his dance, I loved his personality.
- 18:54SPEAKER_02: I, of course, immediately went and followed him.
- 18:57SPEAKER_02: Um, I'd be interested to know how many followers he gains because um I definitely think dancing with the stars opens up a whole new audience for these celebrities.
- 19:08SPEAKER_02: I um I went to school with Emmett Smith.
- 19:12SPEAKER_02: We were in classes together and everything.
- 19:13SPEAKER_02: If you don't know who Emmett Smith was, played for the Gators, played in the NFL, amazing, you know, won Super Bowl, all this stuff.
- 19:20SPEAKER_02: He won Dancing with the Stars like 14 years, a long time ago.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: It was a while back.
- 19:27SPEAKER_02: Years ago.
- 19:27SPEAKER_02: It was years ago.
- 19:29SPEAKER_02: I I did see him after that and spent some time with him after that.
- 19:32SPEAKER_02: And he said, the funny thing is, here, here's somebody who had so much success in in the NFL and everything.
- 19:40SPEAKER_02: And he said more people would come up to him over his dancing with the stars time and his victory on dancing with the stars, and of course, a whole other audience of people that didn't necessarily know him.
- 19:52SPEAKER_02: So I just love that about the show.
- 19:54SPEAKER_02: So it's really gonna be interesting to see, because that's how I feel about Connor.
- 19:59SPEAKER_02: I feel like I fell in love with him last night.
- 20:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, their dance was really fun, and part of that is Riley.
- 20:03SPEAKER_01: I love Riley's personality, comes out in every dance that she choreographs, and she knew uh knew who Connor was.
- 20:11SPEAKER_01: She's when she met him, she's like, Oh, I love you.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: You're he's a comedian, he's a podcaster.
- 20:15SPEAKER_01: She's like, I love you, I've listened to you forever, yada yada yada.
- 20:18SPEAKER_01: And that came through in their dance because their chemistry was really good.
- 20:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the outfits were cute, the song was great.
- 20:24SPEAKER_02: Okay, cool.
- 20:25SPEAKER_02: So I think he'll go very far as far as the men.
- 20:28SPEAKER_01: All right, now we circle back to Taylor Hansen and Brit Stewart.
- 20:33SPEAKER_01: Brit's new this year, I believe is a is a pro.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 20:38SPEAKER_01: And for me, it was I like I mentioned before, it was just so weird to see this little mm-bopper out there dancing.
- 20:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:46SPEAKER_01: It wasn't my favorite.
- 20:47SPEAKER_01: It wasn't my favorite either.
- 20:49SPEAKER_01: It was underwhelming to me.
- 20:51SPEAKER_01: And I I felt like Connor, Connor and Riley scored the same as Taylor and Britt, and I felt like Connor and Riley's was a lot better.
- 20:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:03SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 21:04SPEAKER_01: Now for the roundup at the end.
- 21:05SPEAKER_01: Oh, Harry.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: Harry and Jenna.
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: What do you think?
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: They were my favorite of the night.
- 21:11SPEAKER_01: Well, it's I'm torn because I love her.
- 21:14SPEAKER_01: I love her.
- 21:14SPEAKER_01: Ezra for obvious reasons, and we got into that, but Harry and Jenna just exploded on the dance floor, I felt like.
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: And he got did they end up getting the highest score of the night?
- 21:25SPEAKER_01: I can't remember.
- 21:26SPEAKER_01: They did.
- 21:26SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 21:26SPEAKER_01: They did.
- 21:27SPEAKER_01: And Harry has a lot of dance background, but his dance background's in hip hop and freestyle.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: Um, however, I think a lot of that translated translates over because he's he knows how to move his body more freely.
- 21:39SPEAKER_01: Some of these dancers are a little bit stiff when they get started on the show and have to learn how to really use their bodies, and Harry's got that already.
- 21:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think I agree with you.
- 21:49SPEAKER_01: I think it was definitely the most technical dance of the night.
- 21:52SPEAKER_01: They did great.
- 21:54SPEAKER_02: So, okay, if we're gonna talk about elimination, if you're listening and you haven't seen it yet, you're gonna need to like just skip ahead.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: It to use your little skip or ahead thing.
- 22:03SPEAKER_02: Spoiler alert, spoiler alert.
- 22:05SPEAKER_02: Big time spoiler alert.
- 22:06SPEAKER_02: So before we say who, is this who you picked to be eliminated?
- 22:11SPEAKER_02: This is who I hoped would be eliminated.
- 22:13SPEAKER_02: Okay, I'll oh, I love that.
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: That's different hoped and thought.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 22:17SPEAKER_01: This is who I hoped would be eliminated.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: Just because it was so hard for me to watch.
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:21SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 22:22SPEAKER_02: So I'll give a little drum roll, and Debbie can say the the couple that was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars was Connor Levitt and Adele.
- 22:35SPEAKER_01: Which is really unfortunate.
- 22:36SPEAKER_01: And like you said, Adele, well, I think we kind of gave a little Teaser away when we said that Adele still gets to be in the troop and everything.
- 22:42SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, sorry.
- 22:43SPEAKER_02: Oops.
- 22:43SPEAKER_02: Oh, so we forgot to give you a spoiler.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: Give you a heads up.
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: Anyway, it it was well deserved that he got eliminated.
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: He he just was underwhelming.
- 22:52SPEAKER_01: He was painful to watch.
- 22:53SPEAKER_01: His technique was there was no technique whatsoever.
- 22:57SPEAKER_01: It was just really messy.
- 22:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:59SPEAKER_02: It it was funny because Adele said that she was lucky to have Connor L.
- 23:03SPEAKER_02: I was like, she's not lucky to have Connor L.
- 23:06SPEAKER_02: She does not mean that she's being politically correct.
- 23:08SPEAKER_02: Which I guess she should, and what's she gonna say?
- 23:10SPEAKER_01: And if you know his backstory and the history on Secret Life of the Mormon Wives, he has his own story.
- 23:15SPEAKER_01: He has his own backstory.
- 23:17SPEAKER_01: They went through a tumultuous time in their marriage.
- 23:19SPEAKER_01: It was very public because it was part of the show.
- 23:22SPEAKER_01: Um, but they worked through it and their marriage is stronger than ever.
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: And last season when Whitney was on, he showed up every single time dressed in character to match her dance and her performance.
- 23:33SPEAKER_01: And it was just like you could see the support that he had for his wife.
- 23:36SPEAKER_01: So it was fun to see her and the kids there and supporting him.
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: And you could tell when it showed her face when he got eliminated how sad she was for him.
- 23:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:44SPEAKER_01: So that pulls at your heartstrings a little bit.
- 23:46SPEAKER_01: He did deserve to get eliminated.
- 23:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because she was she was dressed, she had the cute t-shirt on, promoting, she was like in the back of the shots and all that.
- 23:54SPEAKER_02: So that was that was good.
- 23:56SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 23:57SPEAKER_02: Before we wrap up, let's look forward to tonight.
- 24:00SPEAKER_02: Who are your favorites for the ladies?
- 24:02SPEAKER_02: Who you're gonna be looking for to do well tonight at the ladies.
- 24:05SPEAKER_01: I think I think Jenna's probably got an advantage tonight because she has some extensive dance background.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: But I don't know.
- 24:13SPEAKER_02: Has there been uh uh since you're more of a diehard, has there been a a same-sex couple?
- 24:19SPEAKER_02: Like there's never that I know of.
- 24:20SPEAKER_02: Okay, so this is the first time, so that's pretty groundbreaking and something new.
- 24:24SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 24:25SPEAKER_01: And then um, and then of course Julia Styles, everyone's like expecting from her, but I mean she's older now, but but they did a little snippet with her, and she said, I'm not a dancer, I just learned to dance for a role in a movie.
- 24:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 24:37SPEAKER_01: So that may not translate over for her.
- 24:39SPEAKER_02: But she they may be over over ex the expectations might be too high for her.
- 24:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 24:45SPEAKER_02: So we'll see.
- 24:45SPEAKER_02: It'll be interesting.
- 24:46SPEAKER_02: It'll be fun to watch tonight.
- 24:47SPEAKER_02: It'll be interesting.
- 24:48SPEAKER_02: And again, I'm looking forward to Mara and Mark because since I am a big traders person, those were two of my favorite people on Traders.
- 24:57SPEAKER_02: Um, even though Maura's her accent and stuff grip it grips me, but it's um, but I still it'll be it'll be interesting to see.
- 25:06SPEAKER_02: It'll be interesting.
- 25:06SPEAKER_02: I think the competition's gonna be really stiff tonight.
- 25:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 25:09SPEAKER_02: So tune in tonight and watch that.
- 25:13SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 25:14SPEAKER_02: So a little bit of um we're going, oh, right into before we go into the um the next episode.
- 25:22SPEAKER_02: Now we're gonna just kind of talk about episode five and six of Earl Meets World.
- 25:27SPEAKER_02: What about the not so breaking news that Ashton may actually be in a relationship?
- 25:34SPEAKER_02: What do you think of this, Debbie?
- 25:36SPEAKER_01: I think it's interesting.
- 25:37SPEAKER_01: I think because Ashton has pushed back on relationships so much on the show up to this point, um, saying that she, you know, what's wrong with being alone and and what's wrong with being independent.
- 25:48SPEAKER_01: And now news is out that she could possibly be in a relationship.
- 25:53SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 25:53SPEAKER_02: So it is being reported by several different people, including E, that she is in a relationship with Landon Barker, none other than the son of Travis Barker, and Shanna Mowgli is his mom, right?
- 26:07SPEAKER_02: He and his sister, um, Alabama.
- 26:09SPEAKER_02: And then, of course, his famous stepmother is none other than Courtney Kardashian.
- 26:15SPEAKER_02: So immediately, like, how crazy would that be if these two go the distance and these two families that we've already spoken so much about the similarities, yeah, ended up together.
- 26:28SPEAKER_02: They filmed his music video as if it was their wedding, so that's kind of cute, and the pictures are really cute and everything.
- 26:36SPEAKER_02: So, what do we think?
- 26:39SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 26:40SPEAKER_02: Time will tell.
- 26:41SPEAKER_02: We'll watch.
- 26:42SPEAKER_02: We will watch and see.
- 26:44SPEAKER_02: They've been spotted out a lot, dating back as far back as August 11th, and um, so we'll be watching that.
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: Okay, so let's get into episode five uh called Beef in Wellington.
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: And this one starts out with Alex.
- 27:00SPEAKER_01: If you remember, Alex is at her mom's house and she's outside on the phone with TJ, where he's just berating her for the way she handled Ashley, and basically tells her she needs to take CEO classes in how to manage people, which is funny to me because it's her family that she's interacting with.
- 27:17SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 27:17SPEAKER_02: That's it adds another layer, like we talked about about working with family.
- 27:21SPEAKER_02: Now you're literally having to take classes, which you know, maybe it wouldn't hurt her to get some communication, you know, better communication skills.
- 27:27SPEAKER_02: But I think we both agreed we didn't even think it was that bad, what you know, the way that she But it comes down to the fact that Ashley, as a wife and a stepmom, definitely feels like she's competing against Alex for TJ's attention.
- 27:42SPEAKER_01: I agree with that.
- 27:43SPEAKER_01: And also when Alex goes back into the house and starts kind of venting to Alyssa about it, Alyssa just lets her vent and doesn't get in the middle of it.
- 27:50SPEAKER_01: But then a sidebar, Alyssa says, Look, I don't trust her.
- 27:54SPEAKER_01: I don't trust Ashley.
- 27:56SPEAKER_01: I think she's competing with Alex and it doesn't have to be a competition.
- 27:59SPEAKER_01: I just don't trust her.
- 28:00SPEAKER_01: But she never conveys that over to Alex, which I thought was really cool.
- 28:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 28:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it probably is good.
- 28:07SPEAKER_01: Uh they also, why Ashton and Alex are there, they invite Todd and Alyssa to go to Wellington with them and TJ and Ashley and the whole family to watch Penelope's horse show.
- 28:18SPEAKER_01: So again, here we go on another full family vacation together.
- 28:23SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 28:24SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 28:25SPEAKER_02: So I think that then they talk about um Ashton wanting to go into modeling again.
- 28:32SPEAKER_02: And you know, TJ has encouraging her to post and try to get more brand deals.
- 28:38SPEAKER_01: Um and she just kind of shares that she doesn't find the pleasure in being a creator.
- 28:43SPEAKER_01: She wants to chase her dreams, and TJ wants her to chase the money, and she's really kind of torn which way to go.
- 28:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because like they're saying, it's kind of hard because sometimes those things don't align.
- 28:55SPEAKER_02: So then that's when they have that conversation about what are you gonna do?
- 28:59SPEAKER_02: Do what you love or do what makes makes money.
- 29:01SPEAKER_02: Um, she thinks that modeling is now achievable achievable for her because she's had this success influencing, but TJ's a little worried it might take away from some of the other stuff she's already accomplished.
- 29:13SPEAKER_02: So I guess we'll have to wait and see, see how that turns out.
- 29:16SPEAKER_02: That's where the dadager is coming in rather than dad.
- 29:19SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 29:19SPEAKER_02: And then they show a cute little thing where Alex does her own makeup for the Vanity Fair party, and I thought it was cute that she says she knows it was a good night because she didn't have videos or pictures on her phone at all.
- 29:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she just went out and had fun.
- 29:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 29:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 29:35SPEAKER_01: So that was good.
- 29:37SPEAKER_01: So now we go back into Todd, Alyssa, and Ashton, and Todd's wearing a tank top, and we were he's referred to as tank top Todd, which Alyssa hates the tank tops, but Todd loves them.
- 29:52SPEAKER_02: I love that Todd says, What's not to love about a tank top?
- 29:58SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's so funny.
- 30:00SPEAKER_01: Because, well, I don't know.
- 30:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's just but again, it goes back to the fact that a lot of people online love Todd.
- 30:08SPEAKER_02: They think and he is he is good looking.
- 30:11SPEAKER_02: Um, and I'm gonna talk a little more later how I think this episode I started to like Todd more.
- 30:17SPEAKER_00: I did too.
- 30:17SPEAKER_01: I saw a different side of Todd coming out, yeah, which was really good.
- 30:21SPEAKER_01: Um Ashton talks to Alyssa and Todd though about how TJ's missed her meetings for two weeks in a row, and she feels like her mom is always there to support her, but her dad's not showing up lately, and she doesn't want to be compared to Alex all the time, which I don't blame her.
- 30:38SPEAKER_01: I think that that's normal in a sibling um kind of sibling rivalry.
- 30:43unknown: Yeah.
- 30:44SPEAKER_01: But she's trying to learn to navigate what she wants versus what others want for her and trying to trust herself more.
- 30:49SPEAKER_01: So it's interesting to see her kind of navigate through that.
- 30:53SPEAKER_02: And it's funny because she said that people will ask her if she is jealous of Alex, and she says no.
- 30:58SPEAKER_02: Um, and I I do believe her.
- 31:01SPEAKER_02: I think that I think that but I think it's normal to obviously compare.
- 31:05SPEAKER_02: What made me sad is when she said that she didn't think she could be anything on her own.
- 31:09SPEAKER_02: And I hated that she said that because I'm glad that she's finding her own way now, because I think she is great in her own way, and she is different from Alex.
- 31:18SPEAKER_02: And I, you know, she's a little younger, so I don't want her to feel to feel that way.
- 31:22SPEAKER_02: And I love that this is one of the places where I started to like Todd more.
- 31:26SPEAKER_02: Didn't you feel like at this lunch he came across as so positive and supportive to Ashton?
- 31:32SPEAKER_02: He tells her, Don't compare yourself to anyone else.
- 31:35SPEAKER_02: And I did, I was like, you know what?
- 31:36SPEAKER_02: I think I'm starting to like him.
- 31:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it there's goodness in him.
- 31:39SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 31:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I agree.
- 31:41SPEAKER_01: So now we fast forward to where they're in Wellington on the full family vacation again.
- 31:46SPEAKER_01: And there's a conversation the morning of the horse show where Alex is talking about real actives and how she's so mad at Ashton because Ashton posted a get ready with me video using one of the products.
- 31:59SPEAKER_01: And Alex was so mad because she's tried so hard to keep it under wraps and keep it kind of private and quiet until the official launch, and here her sister's throwing it out for the public to see, which if you watched saw the little snippet, you wouldn't have thought twice about it.
- 32:14SPEAKER_01: But the internet sluuth would find it.
- 32:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 32:17SPEAKER_01: And that's what Alex was worried about.
- 32:19SPEAKER_02: And it was funny that Ashley and Ashton both almost ruined it.
- 32:23SPEAKER_02: They both posted, and then Ashley was like adamant trying to tell her, Well, you said I could tease it, you said I could tease it.
- 32:29SPEAKER_02: And Alex looks like, why would I tell you that I did not tell you that I've been keeping this secret for two and a half years?
- 32:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 32:35SPEAKER_01: But Ashley kind of gets on Alex and says, Well, are you gonna get after Ashton like you did me?
- 32:42SPEAKER_01: Kind of which is weird that she's even wanting to have the same treatment because she's the stepmom.
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 32:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's crazy.
- 32:51SPEAKER_02: That to me was weird.
- 32:53SPEAKER_02: So then they go in, they end up going outside to have that conversation.
- 32:57SPEAKER_01: And Ashley and Alex go outside to have a conversation and and delve deeper into how weird their conversation was before when um Alex got after her.
- 33:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because the thing is they both admit that they have had a lot of trouble in the past.
- 33:13SPEAKER_02: And I just did you like the I did I didn't really like some of the ways that Ashley was talking to her.
- 33:17SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 33:18SPEAKER_01: No, I felt like Ashley was talking down.
- 33:20SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's clear that Ashley is in some sort of whether it be for reality fame or just to be relevant or attention from Todd or whatever it is, there's a competition there for Ashley between her and Alex.
- 33:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she wants to put herself above her and she's accusing her of having trauma that she needs to deal with and all this stuff.
- 33:41SPEAKER_02: And you know, they were saying um that they've come so far and worked through so many things that most people would have given up, which I'm glad to see that because they do and they do admit that they trigger each other.
- 33:52SPEAKER_02: Um so it's they talk about this as a fact.
- 33:56SPEAKER_02: They talk about the fact that a lot of times you take things out the worst on the people you love the most.
- 34:01SPEAKER_02: So I just wasn't completely crazy about the conversation.
- 34:04SPEAKER_02: On one hand, I'm glad they're talking about stuff, but um It just seems like Ashley seems to take things more personal.
- 34:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 34:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 34:11SPEAKER_01: So and then mid-conversation, TJ brings them drinks outside.
- 34:16SPEAKER_01: Like, why did TJ feel like he needed to interrupt?
- 34:19SPEAKER_01: Oh, he was just trying to get up there.
- 34:20SPEAKER_01: He just covered that.
- 34:21SPEAKER_02: What's going on?
- 34:21SPEAKER_02: He wanted to know what was going on.
- 34:24SPEAKER_02: Not his place.
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: There's a time and a place, that wasn't it.
- 34:27SPEAKER_01: So then Alyssa and Todd arrive in Florida.
- 34:31SPEAKER_01: And when as soon as they got there, did you notice Thomas immediately ran up to Todd and gave him a hug?
- 34:36SPEAKER_01: Like I thought that was so sweet.
- 34:38SPEAKER_02: I thought he was Todd was so nice to him and he wanted to show him, and he was saying, like, oh, you have your dino den here in Florida.
- 34:45SPEAKER_02: Like I said, this I changed.
- 34:48SPEAKER_02: I was kind of like lukewarm on Todd, but now I think that maybe he's a very sweet, genuine, caring person based on I agree.
- 34:56SPEAKER_02: This episode changed Todd for me.
- 34:57SPEAKER_02: Because none of it seemed fake to me.
- 34:59SPEAKER_02: It seemed like he was genuinely being really nice to Ashton.
- 35:02SPEAKER_02: Then it seemed like he was genuinely giving Thomas all that attention.
- 35:06SPEAKER_02: Um oh.
- 35:08SPEAKER_01: Which is maybe why we were lukewarm on him, because he is so genuine that there was nothing to pick apart other than he just and maybe I thought it was fake at first, but I don't think it's fake.
- 35:19SPEAKER_02: Oh, but how about this?
- 35:21SPEAKER_02: So when Alyssa arrives there, I want to know what makeup she uses.
- 35:25SPEAKER_02: I need to go find out.
- 35:26SPEAKER_02: I need to follow her and see what she uses.
- 35:29SPEAKER_02: I thought she looked so beautiful.
- 35:31SPEAKER_02: Well, she just is a beautiful woman.
- 35:32SPEAKER_02: But when she arrived in Florida, she just had like this dewy look, and maybe she had had her makeup professionally done since they were filming.
- 35:38SPEAKER_02: I don't know, but I I I definitely thought she looks very natural.
- 35:42SPEAKER_01: So that's I think that's the difference between the thing.
- 35:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's the difference between Alyssa and Ashley.
- 35:46SPEAKER_01: Alyssa's very, I don't want to say plain Jane, but she's just very natural.
- 35:50SPEAKER_01: Very natural, she's naturally beautiful.
- 35:52SPEAKER_01: Ashley's naturally beautiful, but she does herself up to the nines every time.
- 35:56SPEAKER_02: And we've talked about this before.
- 35:58SPEAKER_02: I think Ashley, which I hate to even talk about woman's faith, but she is so beautiful anyway, and it looks like she's had too much done, especially for her younger age.
- 36:08SPEAKER_02: And I'm sure, you know, who knows?
- 36:09SPEAKER_02: That's why I'm I've like have not had Botox in like three years because it just affects my eyes weird, the way that it makes my eyes fall and stuff.
- 36:19SPEAKER_02: And as women, I think all of us go through that where we're like, okay, how do we do enough?
- 36:23SPEAKER_02: Like we want to do our best to look our best and put our best foot forward, but it is a fine line between getting too much done to where you just look look like it's just over fake, overdone.
- 36:35SPEAKER_02: And I know she's in this industry or whatever, but I think Ashley's beautiful without overdoing all that.
- 36:40SPEAKER_01: Yep, I agree.
- 36:41SPEAKER_01: I couldn't agree more.
- 36:43SPEAKER_01: So while we're in conversations happening, uh, Todd takes TJ outside to have a conversation with him about to talk about the incident at dinner when TJ was so disrespectful towards Alyssa.
- 36:55SPEAKER_01: And Todd's really cool about it and starts off by thanking TJ for always treating him with respect, but then he also addresses the disrespect.
- 37:03SPEAKER_01: So I thought the way he led into the conversation was very respectful and just, you know, look, I appreciate everything you've done.
- 37:09SPEAKER_01: However, this happened and we need to talk about it.
- 37:12SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 37:13SPEAKER_02: And TJ encourages him.
- 37:15SPEAKER_02: He said, I'm sorry, you know, that you should have said something right then.
- 37:18SPEAKER_02: Um, Todd asked him why he said it.
- 37:20SPEAKER_02: It was funny how TJ just says, like, I always say stupid stuff.
- 37:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he just blows it off.
- 37:25SPEAKER_01: Like he blows it off.
- 37:27SPEAKER_01: Um without really taking accountability, though.
- 37:29SPEAKER_01: Like he just kind of blows it off.
- 37:30SPEAKER_01: Like I always say stupid stuff.
- 37:32SPEAKER_02: He did, he did apologize a little bit, but not not crazy.
- 37:36SPEAKER_02: Oh, and did you like how later he said something?
- 37:38SPEAKER_02: He's like, TJ, TJ says, Todd yelled at me.
- 37:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 37:41SPEAKER_02: Todd did not yell at him.
- 37:43SPEAKER_01: So respectful.
- 37:44SPEAKER_01: And I thought they did have a respectful conversation.
- 37:46SPEAKER_01: But then, mid-conversation of those two, Ashley pulls a TJ move and interrupts them and comes out and says, Hey Todd, will you make me a dirty martini?
- 37:55SPEAKER_01: Because you make the best ones.
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 37:56SPEAKER_01: She didn't need to come out.
- 37:57SPEAKER_01: No.
- 37:58SPEAKER_01: She should have let them have her conversation.
- 38:00SPEAKER_01: And that's funny.
- 38:01SPEAKER_01: Granted, maybe we're just seeing snippets and it's edited that way, so we we can see it like that.
- 38:05SPEAKER_01: But it was just interesting to me that both TJ and Ashley act the same way in scenarios like that.
- 38:12SPEAKER_02: So it's funny.
- 38:12SPEAKER_02: Did you notice at dinner they bring up the thing again about the real actives?
- 38:16SPEAKER_02: Because Ashton was just getting there too.
- 38:19SPEAKER_02: And then they talk about Ashton posting a potential spoiler for the real active launch.
- 38:24SPEAKER_02: And the and one of the little sisters says, If you didn't, if you didn't get no views, people would know, but you don't get any views, so people are again.
- 38:32SPEAKER_02: That was Penelope roasting her.
- 38:33SPEAKER_02: I loved it.
- 38:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that was Penelope, yes, says it doesn't matter because she doesn't get any views.
- 38:38SPEAKER_02: And so that's pretty funny.
- 38:40SPEAKER_02: Like Penelope's got this little feisty fire underneath her that just comes out at the funniest times.
- 38:45SPEAKER_02: I love how the kids like jump in to mediate and tell them like it's not a big deal.
- 38:48SPEAKER_02: Like Thomas is like, so that was cute.
- 38:52SPEAKER_01: And then they also touch on Todd and Alyssa went um shopping, house shopping.
- 38:57SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 38:58SPEAKER_01: To move in together.
- 39:00SPEAKER_01: And the girls are worried because they've been on and off and on and off that they're worried that they're gonna break up again.
- 39:05SPEAKER_01: So it it's interesting to see them kind of tackle that and and address that with their mom if she's really in it for good this time.
- 39:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because they've broken up a lot and they said that actually it has been Alyssa that's initiated a lot of the breakups.
- 39:18SPEAKER_02: Um Alex does say that she wants them to stay together, so obviously Alex likes Todd.
- 39:23SPEAKER_02: Um and I thought it was nice too, where Todd said he is gonna work on making sure that she feels loved and protective.
- 39:29SPEAKER_02: And without coming right out and saying it, don't you feel like he was acknowledging the fact that obviously everything she went through with TJ and everything?
- 39:38SPEAKER_02: So I did I did like that.
- 39:40SPEAKER_02: But how about the story about her breaking up with him and him going and taking the purse?
- 39:46SPEAKER_02: I just want to know what kind of handbag it was.
- 39:48SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 39:48SPEAKER_02: I want to know what kind of bag.
- 39:49SPEAKER_01: I'd given her a handbag, and when he when they broke up, he took the bag with him.
- 39:53SPEAKER_01: And then Alyssa told everybody, and Todd's like, You told her about that?
- 39:57SPEAKER_01: And she's like, Oh, I told everybody, right?
- 40:00SPEAKER_02: And then they said something that he and Alyssa says that she also told everyone um that he Vedmo requested her or something.
- 40:06SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 40:07SPEAKER_02: Oh crazy.
- 40:09SPEAKER_01: But they're together, and Alex gave them their blessing that she's she's fine with them if they move in together now, so that was fun.
- 40:17SPEAKER_01: So it's pretty good.
- 40:18SPEAKER_01: So then they're at Penelope's horse show, and Penelope takes seventh and eighth place in her horse show, and everyone shows their support and is so excited for her, and Penelope is mad because she feels like she could have done better.
- 40:29SPEAKER_01: But then I thought it was really cute because she said, But if you're proud of how you did and you're proud of your pony, then that's enough.
- 40:35SPEAKER_01: And I thought that was really cute.
- 40:37SPEAKER_02: That was really sweet, and that makes me think that definitely there's some good parenting.
- 40:41SPEAKER_02: Yep, right.
- 40:42SPEAKER_02: No, there's definitely there's definitely some good parenting.
- 40:46SPEAKER_02: So they do when they're at the beach, they do talk about a few things, and Alex does think that Ashton isn't necessarily working to her full potential.
- 40:55SPEAKER_02: They've called her turtle since she was young and all that stuff.
- 40:58SPEAKER_02: But she's been so slow with everything.
- 41:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so um and TJ even says he said, I think we're about 50% there with her.
- 41:06SPEAKER_01: Like she's got some growing to do so.
- 41:08SPEAKER_01: And she's younger and she's she's trying to make her way, you know, and all that.
- 41:12SPEAKER_01: So we get a teaser for the next episode as they're walking on the beach, and Ashen talks about how she's considering finding a new manager that will take her seriously because she doesn't feel like TJ takes her seriously.
- 41:23SPEAKER_01: So we've got more to look forward to in the next episode.
- 41:27SPEAKER_02: That's right.
- 41:28SPEAKER_02: So this was great.
