- 0:29Speaker 1: Welcome to Table Talk here at the Philadelphia Sports Table
- 0:31Speaker 1: podcast show, the longest running weekly Philly sports podcast show
- 0:35Speaker 1: in the world, over twelve years strong. We got a
- 0:37Speaker 1: great show and interview this week with our good buddy here.
- 0:41Speaker 1: It is great to see him on YouTube if you're
- 0:44Speaker 1: watching there, if you're listening to us, he is from
- 0:47Speaker 1: the Tony Katillo Show. Over on Twitter, you can follow
- 0:51Speaker 1: him at Rise with Tony. We love talking to him,
- 0:53Speaker 1: the one and only Tony Katillo. How you doing, Buddy,
- 0:56Speaker 1: I'm doing great. Jaffie Little good for man on video
- 0:58Speaker 1: for the first time. You man, I know it's great
- 1:00Speaker 1: to have you here. You know you're on the YouTube.
- 1:04Speaker 1: You know you're still gonna be in people's ear drums
- 1:06Speaker 1: on our audio platforms that we're on as well. But
- 1:09Speaker 1: you're doing good things as well. Again. You know, tell
- 1:12Speaker 1: everybody I did a little promo there for you, But
- 1:14Speaker 1: tell everybody where they can find you on the interwebs
- 1:16Speaker 1: out there.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Yeah, listen, man, if you just go to at Rose
- 1:19Speaker 2: with Tony, you'll find all the good stuff I'm doing
- 1:21Speaker 2: right now. My biggest thing is fighting for overtime. You
- 1:24Speaker 2: sports podcast started a couple of years ago, so real
- 1:27Speaker 2: passive project a little something different, but again fighting for overtime.
- 1:31Speaker 3: It's really fun, man.
- 1:32Speaker 1: All right, sounds good? Well, we wanted to dive into
- 1:35Speaker 1: some NFL talk and some storylines as this NFL season
- 1:38Speaker 1: is almost upon us here, and of course we got
- 1:41Speaker 1: to get into the Philadelphia Eagles right off the bat.
- 1:44Speaker 1: This team the defending Super Bowl champions, Tony, and as
- 1:49Speaker 1: Jillen Hurts has said though in the past here and
- 1:52Speaker 1: more recent past, that super Bowl is in the rearview
- 1:54Speaker 1: mirror and we need to start looking at and concentrating
- 1:56Speaker 1: on this twenty twenty five twenty twenty six season here.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I'm so used to using the phrase We're gonna have
- 2:06Speaker 1: to temper our expectations for this coming season, Tony. I
- 2:08Speaker 1: do it all the time. We've been doing it for
- 2:10Speaker 1: years and years, right, But I feel like we don't
- 2:14Speaker 1: need to temper our expectations given this team's winning identity
- 2:18Speaker 1: right now at this point. Yet, Yet I do feel
- 2:22Speaker 1: there are some areas of this team where we need
- 2:24Speaker 1: to be cautious when it comes to some of those expectations,
- 2:29Speaker 1: mainly with the cornerback room and even to an extent
- 2:32Speaker 1: where the pass rush is going to take this defense
- 2:35Speaker 1: this season. So those are my thoughts right here. What
- 2:38Speaker 1: are your thoughts Tony about some of the quote cautious
- 2:42Speaker 1: aspects of this team as we're moving forward here?
- 2:45Speaker 3: Yeah, man, I listen.
- 2:47Speaker 2: It's easy to just say we're gonna be okay, right exactly.
- 2:51Speaker 3: I get it. But this is such a deep team, man.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Like every position, and I know people want to talk
- 2:57Speaker 2: about the secondary.
- 2:58Speaker 3: I get it. However, I'm not as worried.
- 3:01Speaker 2: About the secondary everybody else wants to be right, because
- 3:04Speaker 2: what team has a stud at every single position? Somebody's
- 3:11Speaker 2: going to have to step up eventually, right Like last year,
- 3:13Speaker 2: we didn't know Zach Bowm was going to be Zach Baum.
- 3:16Speaker 2: We had no idea before he got injured. Kobe Dean
- 3:18Speaker 2: was going to be to Kobe Dean. We didn't know this, right.
- 3:20Speaker 2: We didn't know Jaylen was going to come on at
- 3:22Speaker 2: the end. We didn't know Josh Schwett was going to
- 3:24Speaker 2: be Josh Swett. So I'm not as concerned front of
- 3:28Speaker 2: running back from the cornerback room as everybody else. I listen,
- 3:31Speaker 2: when you have Kesean Mitchell, right, when you have Q, listen,
- 3:35Speaker 2: that guy is an absolute stud. If you go back
- 3:38Speaker 2: in the history of NFL when you usually have a
- 3:41Speaker 2: stud like a Rebus Island, you know the guy. Yes,
- 3:44Speaker 2: he does get targeted on the other side. But my
- 3:46Speaker 2: biggest thing is I just want veteran leadership, and I
- 3:49Speaker 2: do think that Dorr Jackson will give you that. Maybe right,
- 3:54Speaker 2: I don't listen. I'm not talking about his play. Was
- 3:56Speaker 2: talking about his leadership. And I do think that, you know,
- 4:00Speaker 2: the mix and mingle of certain guys. Maybe it's mc
- 4:02Speaker 2: williams that they drafted the fifth round, right, Maybe it's
- 4:05Speaker 2: Bennett that they get. I don't know, but I think
- 4:07Speaker 2: it's going to be a work of progress, and I
- 4:09Speaker 2: think it'll probably be until like week five or six
- 4:11Speaker 2: till we actually get that position settled.
- 4:13Speaker 1: I was thinking right after the second preseason game, to
- 4:16Speaker 1: be honest, Tony, that a Dori Jackson was playing his
- 4:19Speaker 1: way off the team. That was initially my thought really,
- 4:23Speaker 1: because I mean the initial signing, I was kind of
- 4:26Speaker 1: I hate to use the word baffled, because it's not
- 4:28Speaker 1: that I was baffled, because we know Howie Roseman does this.
- 4:30Speaker 1: He wants to see how coachable these guys really are
- 4:33Speaker 1: able to be year after year, and especially with Vic
- 4:36Speaker 1: Fangio coming in and doing what he did last year,
- 4:39Speaker 1: there's absolutely no reason to believe that some of these
- 4:41Speaker 1: guys can be coached up too. When it came to
- 4:43Speaker 1: a Dori Jackson though, after that second preseason game, I
- 4:46Speaker 1: was like, I don't know about this. So I don't
- 4:47Speaker 1: know about this here.
- 4:49Speaker 3: It's tough, you know it is.
- 4:51Speaker 2: But what I will say is I think the biggest
- 4:55Speaker 2: the biggest thing that baffles me is the Isaiah Rodgers thing.
- 4:58Speaker 2: I just it's a great you know that that money
- 5:02Speaker 2: was not a lot, right, He's a guy that knew
- 5:04Speaker 2: the system and you went out, you still spent money
- 5:07Speaker 2: on other positions.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Like I don't Again, I'm not in a room. We
- 5:11Speaker 3: don't know what happened.
- 5:12Speaker 2: But I still think that Jackson on this team, with
- 5:15Speaker 2: this culture, he can be serviceable. Not gonna be great,
- 5:19Speaker 2: He's going to be very inconsistent, but I think it
- 5:22Speaker 2: can be serviceable.
- 5:22Speaker 1: All right, Very good. Well. I do want to stick
- 5:25Speaker 1: with the theme in terms of the NFC East as
- 5:28Speaker 1: we're moving along here, because when it comes to this
- 5:32Speaker 1: division to really trying to analyze what we're gonna see
- 5:35Speaker 1: this year, I do feel like the commanders are going
- 5:37Speaker 1: to take some steps back. I think we've seen in
- 5:41Speaker 1: this league over the years, Tony, where when you have
- 5:43Speaker 1: a quarterback, this happened with Jalen Hurts, certain teams quote
- 5:46Speaker 1: figure you out. I think with Jaden Daniels, I think
- 5:49Speaker 1: we may see that with the Commanders, they may take
- 5:52Speaker 1: a step back offensively due to that perhaps. And yet
- 5:55Speaker 1: I feel like with regard to another team here in
- 5:58Speaker 1: the NFC East, Krescott, I think he's gonna have something
- 6:02Speaker 1: to prove. Now can he actually do it, that's another thing.
- 6:05Speaker 1: But he's one of those Okay, we got to prove
- 6:07Speaker 1: it year after year after year, and Dak Prescott is
- 6:09Speaker 1: not a terrible quarterback by any stretch of the imagination. Now,
- 6:12Speaker 1: the rest of the Dallas Cowboys, we don't know necessarily
- 6:15Speaker 1: what we're gonna see from them. I do feel the
- 6:19Speaker 1: Giants they are gonna be the Giants and are gonna
- 6:22Speaker 1: giants their way throughout this season. But how do you
- 6:26Speaker 1: really feel about this NFC East Division? I mean, should
- 6:29Speaker 1: the Eagles fans, should we all be concerned with any
- 6:33Speaker 1: aspects of this division with opposing offenses or defenses here?
- 6:37Speaker 1: What are your thoughts?
- 6:38Speaker 3: It's really tough to say no.
- 6:42Speaker 2: I mean, let's be honest, it's it's really really tough
- 6:45Speaker 2: because every we know the commanders are to be commanders
- 6:48Speaker 2: right exactly. And I get your point that they may
- 6:50Speaker 2: take a step back, but whatever you have, Dan Quinn,
- 6:54Speaker 2: and you know whether Jadon Daniels takes a couple steps
- 6:57Speaker 2: back or no, sophmort slump. Who knows that kid's talented
- 7:00Speaker 2: and so just looking at that Arry McLaurin as we
- 7:03Speaker 2: as we go, breaking signs and extension. So he's going
- 7:06Speaker 2: to be there, right. So I look at that team
- 7:08Speaker 2: as a whole, and I'm like, they're always going to
- 7:10Speaker 2: be there. I think that the Cowboys are done. Like
- 7:14Speaker 2: you know, I'm a big guy. Has nothing to do
- 7:16Speaker 2: with talent. I just think the circus, I think the
- 7:18Speaker 2: body language, the culture.
- 7:20Speaker 3: It's just it's a ship.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Sticks, it sticks, it does, and I look at it
- 7:25Speaker 2: and I'm like, how can that team really get on
- 7:27Speaker 2: the next level? And then they bring in a guy
- 7:29Speaker 2: in George Pickens who's not a great teammate. So here
- 7:32Speaker 2: just killed the culture even more. I will tell you this,
- 7:35Speaker 2: I am intrigued by the Giants. I know a lot
- 7:39Speaker 2: of we're gonna say I think they played very good
- 7:42Speaker 2: defensively last year. Dable, whether he's with the Giants after
- 7:46Speaker 2: this or not, he's he's coaching for his next job.
- 7:49Speaker 2: And whenever you get a guy that's smart like Dabel
- 7:52Speaker 2: and he is respected no matter what you think, their
- 7:54Speaker 2: defense played really well, that could be a team. And
- 7:57Speaker 2: if Jackson Dark comes out after Week five, it takes
- 8:00Speaker 2: over to that role.
- 8:02Speaker 3: I'll tell you what could be some Fountain youth.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Energy and Tyron Tracy. Tyron Tracy coming out of the backfield,
- 8:08Speaker 1: to be honest with you, a sleeper player in this division,
- 8:12Speaker 1: for sure.
- 8:13Speaker 3: He's been.
- 8:14Speaker 2: He's on six out of seven of my fantasy football teams. Yeah,
- 8:17Speaker 2: because I love what he can do.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Seven. Man, I thought my six fantasy teams was ridiculous.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I love it. I love it. You've got seven, I've
- 8:27Speaker 1: got six. Oh fantastic.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Well.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Look, I wanted to stick with the NFC theme here, Tony,
- 8:33Speaker 1: because I feel like the NFC North is going to
- 8:36Speaker 1: be an interesting division in many different ways. One, we
- 8:40Speaker 1: keep waiting for the Bears to make some sort of waves,
- 8:43Speaker 1: to make some sort of noise. I think this year
- 8:45Speaker 1: they could. Now are they going to get into the playoffs?
- 8:49Speaker 1: And be successful potentially getting there. I have no idea.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Part of me doubts that, but I am interested in
- 8:55Speaker 1: what their play is going to be like on both
- 8:57Speaker 1: offense and defense. I do think the Packer may be
- 9:00Speaker 1: a better team this year, and the Lions, I don't know,
- 9:03Speaker 1: maybe in flux because they lost some of their coaching
- 9:06Speaker 1: staff during this offseason. So I'm wondering, how are you
- 9:09Speaker 1: viewing this NFC North Division. I think it's gonna be
- 9:12Speaker 1: a fantastic division to watch and follow.
- 9:14Speaker 3: I think it is.
- 9:15Speaker 2: It's goba be like old school and North Football man like.
- 9:18Speaker 2: And and you make a good point about the Lions
- 9:20Speaker 2: because they lose both their coordinators.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Yep, yeah, and that's not easy. We know that in Phildelpa.
- 9:25Speaker 2: That's not easy to recover from right, and there's a
- 9:27Speaker 2: learning period that comes along with that. So I take
- 9:30Speaker 2: a step back a little bit on on the Lions.
- 9:33Speaker 3: I really do.
- 9:33Speaker 2: I think, you know, I look at the Packers as
- 9:36Speaker 2: great coach. No matter what we think about of his
- 9:39Speaker 2: opinion at a touch push, he is still he's off
- 9:42Speaker 2: that McVeigh tree. Yeah, he is the coach, right, I'm
- 9:45Speaker 2: just questioning Jordan Love. I don't think we're in love
- 9:49Speaker 2: was where he should have been last year. I don't
- 9:51Speaker 2: know what it was. It kind of bothered me. I
- 9:53Speaker 2: love the Bears. You know, I was not a Ben
- 9:56Speaker 2: Johnson guy until I watched his first press conference, until
- 9:59Speaker 2: I start following that team, and this guy is an
- 10:02Speaker 2: offensive mastermind and what he's doing out there. All you
- 10:07Speaker 2: have to do is follow King and understand just how
- 10:10Speaker 2: they are rejuvenated out there. I mean, cool man that
- 10:14Speaker 2: the guy, original guy ever Fleus was a stiff. Yes,
- 10:17Speaker 2: I he terrible, And now you get this guy who
- 10:20Speaker 2: was just call and plays out of his back pocket.
- 10:23Speaker 3: I'm intrigued. I like the Bears a lot.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I like the Bears a lot too. We didn't
- 10:28Speaker 1: mention the vikings. I'll tell you right now. JJ McCarthy,
- 10:31Speaker 1: I'm not the biggest fan of him. I didn't think
- 10:33Speaker 1: he was a great, great quarterback coming out of Michigan.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Of course, I followed his career being a you know,
- 10:39Speaker 1: being a Penn State alum, following a lot of what
- 10:41Speaker 1: happened in the Big Ten during the course of his
- 10:43Speaker 1: year coming out. I don't I don't think JJ McCarthy
- 10:47Speaker 1: is going to be the type of quarterback it's gonna
- 10:48Speaker 1: be able to take Minnesota Vikings to the Promised Land
- 10:50Speaker 1: at all, Tony, I don't think that.
- 10:52Speaker 3: I agree. That's why I passed on Johnson Jefferson. Yeah, fancy. Yeah,
- 10:56Speaker 3: I know he's a start, but I don't trust the guy. Yeah.
- 10:59Speaker 2: I like Capit O'Connell too, but I just I'm just
- 11:02Speaker 2: so surprised at teams like this.
- 11:04Speaker 3: They just go so weak at quarterback. Yeah, I don't
- 11:07Speaker 3: understand it. I don't get it.
- 11:08Speaker 1: It's it's bizarre for sure. Well again, folks, we're talking
- 11:11Speaker 1: to Tony Kattillo from the Tony Katillo Show. At Rise

- 11:24Speaker 1: again on YouTube, and if you are listening on any
- 11:27Speaker 1: other audio platform, subscribe there as well. We've also got
- 11:31Speaker 1: our social sites that we are on. We are on Instagram, Twitter,
- 11:34Speaker 1: slash x. I'm over on TikTok at mister Jeff Warren
- 11:38Speaker 1: like our Facebook page. Just search out the Philadelphia Sports Table.
- 11:40Speaker 1: You can search out my name on various platforms as
- 11:43Speaker 1: well as Eric here on the show as well. We
- 11:47Speaker 1: are gonna take a quick break, Tony, and when we
- 11:48Speaker 1: get back, we're gonna dive into some AFC talk here.
- 11:51Speaker 3: All right, sound good?
- 11:53Speaker 1: All right, We're gonna take that break now. We'll be
- 11:55Speaker 1: back in just a bit, folks. All Right, we are
- 11:58Speaker 1: back with our good friend Tony Katil here from the
- 12:00Speaker 1: Tony Catillo Show. And as we're moving along with this
- 12:03Speaker 1: conversation here and moving into now the AFC, what we're
- 12:07Speaker 1: gonna be seeing from certain teams, certain storylines here, I
- 12:10Speaker 1: feel like I want the Bills to be the team
- 12:13Speaker 1: that makes it to the Super Bowl to face the
- 12:15Speaker 1: Philadelphia Eagles, if that's both teams destinies this coming year, Tony.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I mean, the Bills to me are so interesting watching
- 12:22Speaker 1: them on Hard Knocks as of late, because there's still
- 12:26Speaker 1: gonna be a top contender in the AFC. But like
- 12:29Speaker 1: outside of Josh Allen, I feel like this team is
- 12:32Speaker 1: just not the most talented team in the world, yet
- 12:35Speaker 1: they are resilient. They come together to play every single
- 12:38Speaker 1: game they've got. You know, Sean McDermott as the coach
- 12:41Speaker 1: who is institute of this culture up there, at least
- 12:43Speaker 1: in my opinion, this is what I see so I'm wondering,
- 12:46Speaker 1: where do you see the Buffalo Bill's fortunes taking them
- 12:49Speaker 1: this season? And why?
- 12:51Speaker 2: Oh, First of all, I'm going to say I was
- 12:54Speaker 2: I was a McDermott guy, and so he came out
- 12:57Speaker 2: about the touch pust and now I want to paunch.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Him in the mount. I do hope that we get
- 13:01Speaker 3: in the Super Bowl.
- 13:02Speaker 2: We could do that, right, yes, but all kid aside,
- 13:06Speaker 2: I actually disagree. I think at the Buffalo Bills have
- 13:11Speaker 2: one of the most lethal offenses that people are completely overlooking.
- 13:16Speaker 2: If you look at what they did last year. James
- 13:19Speaker 2: Cook had a career. They signed on an extension Ray
- 13:21Speaker 2: Davis when he filled in four James Cook unbelievable. Right,
- 13:29Speaker 2: we already know about josh how you have Dalton Kka,
- 13:32Speaker 2: one of the most athletic tight ends. He just hasn't
- 13:34Speaker 2: clicked yet. It's not kind of like Kyle Pitts. Everybody's
- 13:37Speaker 2: waiting for Dalton kk to just take that next step, right,
- 13:40Speaker 2: But then you have key On Coleman who's on the
- 13:42Speaker 2: second year. You have Khalil Shakir who's on a third year,
- 13:44Speaker 2: and then you bring over Joshua Palmer. Uh, you know
- 13:47Speaker 2: from the Chargers who's been having an insane can.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Sometimes you forget about Palmer. Sometimes folks do.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Yes.
- 13:53Speaker 2: So you have four weapons out there, and I just
- 13:57Speaker 2: look at this team and go, you know what, man,
- 13:59Speaker 2: you got a really good kicker and Tyller bass and
- 14:01Speaker 2: you just look at everything that they have done as
- 14:03Speaker 2: a whole.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Josh Allen just continues to excel.
- 14:07Speaker 2: It's all gonna be on his shoulders because he does
- 14:09Speaker 2: have moments where he's not great with the football right,
- 14:12Speaker 2: and he does have moments where he takes upon himself
- 14:15Speaker 2: a little too much.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Yep.
- 14:17Speaker 2: So I think if he can just garner that back
- 14:19Speaker 2: a little bit, Pulwan takes the next step. I think,
- 14:22Speaker 2: I'll tell you what, Man Shakier Shaquire, he can catch
- 14:25Speaker 2: a hundred balls this year. Yeah, I think man so
- 14:27Speaker 2: important to that offense.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Man. I think people are overlooking the Bills.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I genuinely think this could be a Bill's Eagle Super
- 14:33Speaker 1: Bowl this year.
- 14:34Speaker 3: I mean, I love it.
- 14:35Speaker 1: It would be so fun and entertaining, It would be
- 14:37Speaker 1: so fun, absolutely all right, moving along here to the
- 14:42Speaker 1: next topic I wanted to dive into with you, Tony.
- 14:45Speaker 1: We know that there are some teams who definitely had
- 14:48Speaker 1: stinkers of an offseason, and we've certainly seen it during
- 14:52Speaker 1: the course of these preseason games. Just various storylines as well,
- 14:56Speaker 1: some teams made some mind boggling decisions. I'm wondering for you,
- 15:01Speaker 1: which team do you think had the worst off season
- 15:04Speaker 1: as it pertains this coming season, but even within the
- 15:07Speaker 1: foreseeable future, you know, within these next couple of years
- 15:10Speaker 1: and seasons as well. I'm going with the Pittsburgh Steelers
- 15:13Speaker 1: because of what they've done and not done with the
- 15:16Speaker 1: quarterback position. I think from a receivers standpoint, I mean,
- 15:21Speaker 1: you had a culture in Pittsburgh for a while where
- 15:24Speaker 1: receivers really were the end all be all for quite
- 15:28Speaker 1: some time. And maybe I'm getting old thinking about those
- 15:30Speaker 1: days with Antonio Brown and thinking about just so many
- 15:35Speaker 1: Santonio Holmes like those guys. I know it's been a while. Yes, absolutely,
- 15:40Speaker 1: even from a running back position, they've always kind of
- 15:42Speaker 1: been strong, and I just feel like this organization has
- 15:46Speaker 1: done a terrible job for themselves, not just this offseason,
- 15:49Speaker 1: but into the future as well. I mean, is there
- 15:51Speaker 1: a team for you that you're just scratching your head,
- 15:54Speaker 1: being like, you know what they made some mind boggling
- 15:57Speaker 1: decisions this offseason.
- 15:59Speaker 2: And they're just it's a shame because I actually this
- 16:02Speaker 2: team are going to say I really like their coach,
- 16:05Speaker 2: and I think it's the Browns man like I like
- 16:09Speaker 2: Kevin Fans. I think he's done more with nothing than
- 16:13Speaker 2: probably any other coach in the NFL.
- 16:15Speaker 3: But this team just the quarterback position, like.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Are you really you're you're strutting out Joe Flacco like
- 16:22Speaker 2: and it's still you know, I still look at this, Jeff,
- 16:25Speaker 2: and it's still the haunting of Baker Mayfield. Baker Mayfield
- 16:31Speaker 2: continues to haunt the Cleveland Browns because if you don't
- 16:35Speaker 2: have a quarterback, you don't have a team. And I
- 16:37Speaker 2: look at what they did this here again, they draft
- 16:40Speaker 2: the kid at running back because Nick Chubb obviously with
- 16:43Speaker 2: the knee, he goes to Houston. But you draft the
- 16:45Speaker 2: kid who got domestic abuse issues. Now right, we don't
- 16:48Speaker 2: know where that's going to go. And then do you
- 16:51Speaker 2: take Stor Shanders? Uh? You take Dylan Gabriel, kid who
- 16:54Speaker 2: can't even get on a field down that you took
- 16:56Speaker 2: over Sanders. Sanders looks like he's going to have to mature.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Were there you're going to Joe Flatty. You pay all
- 17:02Speaker 2: the money to Watson like Jeff, This team, to me,
- 17:05Speaker 2: it just breathes a loser like and it's a shame.
- 17:08Speaker 2: But they're not gonna win for the next three to
- 17:11Speaker 2: five years easy, So it's just, you know, it's mind
- 17:13Speaker 2: boggling to me. And I feel beg because I do
- 17:15Speaker 2: love having Spains.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Absolutely, and I think I think they've had a good
- 17:18Speaker 1: defense too over these years too. We've seen it. We've
- 17:20Speaker 1: seen it.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Ball's Gyro that man, Yes, yes, obviously he wanted the money, absolutely,
- 17:25Speaker 2: Hobby look it out.
- 17:27Speaker 1: It's it's bizarre. It must be bizarre to be in
- 17:30Speaker 1: some of these guys shoes where it's like, man, do
- 17:33Speaker 1: I take that money knowing that I Am probably never
- 17:37Speaker 1: going to get to that level that I want to
- 17:39Speaker 1: get to, to win a Super Bowl, to even maybe
- 17:41Speaker 1: get to an AFC or NFC title game, But I
- 17:45Speaker 1: would rather take the money, like I couldn't imagine being
- 17:48Speaker 1: in that situation because of the game.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Part is the worst part is, you know, don't DeVante
- 17:54Speaker 2: Adams at either you went to Vegas to take the money,
- 17:57Speaker 2: you do the team was going to suck? Yeah, now
- 17:59Speaker 2: sudden I want to go win somewhere. Oh no, no,
- 18:01Speaker 2: you got paid, bro, that's what you want it right right?
- 18:04Speaker 3: I look at that like that's so hypocritical. It really is.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Well, buddy, before I let you go, want to dive
- 18:10Speaker 1: into we love talking about under the radar storylines here,
- 18:13Speaker 1: you know, whether it's hockey, baseball, basketball, now with the
- 18:17Speaker 1: NFL here, so I'm wondering, what is what is that
- 18:20Speaker 1: one under the radar storyline heading into this NFL season
- 18:24Speaker 1: with the NFL in general, that's really gonna be on
- 18:27Speaker 1: your mind that you're really gonna be honing in on.
- 18:29Speaker 3: People are gonna love this, Pattie.
- 18:31Speaker 2: It's a revival of Chip Kelly. I am telling you
- 18:36Speaker 2: right now, Schip Kelly and Pete Carroll in Vegas. I
- 18:42Speaker 2: am so excited to see what they do. And again,
- 18:46Speaker 2: you know, Chip Kelly swallows a pride, goes to the
- 18:49Speaker 2: college ranks. But whatever, right, you can do whatever you
- 18:51Speaker 2: want about the guy. He knows how to utilize an offense.
- 18:55Speaker 2: And if you look out there again, you got a
- 18:57Speaker 2: guy Gino Smith.
- 18:58Speaker 3: I got it, Pee Caroll.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Trust I'm telling you right now, every single one of
- 19:01Speaker 2: my fantasy teams I have Geno Smith.
- 19:03Speaker 3: I have Jacoby Myers.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Right, you have brock Powers, you have Mike Meyer who's
- 19:07Speaker 2: actually getting a lot of Look, Chip Kelly is gonna,
- 19:10Speaker 2: you know, Ashton Genty like you're You're gonna look at
- 19:13Speaker 2: this team and Chip Kelly is gonna put his imprint
- 19:16Speaker 2: on this offense where people are going, wow, what has.
- 19:20Speaker 3: Happened in Vegas?
- 19:21Speaker 2: May not win a lot of games this year, right, however,
- 19:23Speaker 2: they're gonna put up some points and they're gonna be exciting.
- 19:25Speaker 2: So I am very interesting and not enough people talk
- 19:28Speaker 2: about Jeff that is talking about it. They're really not
- 19:31Speaker 2: that and I think it will be called week six
- 19:33Speaker 2: or seven.
- 19:33Speaker 1: You heard it here, folks from Tony Katillo.
