- The Drama Drop: Welcome back to the Drama Drop, you guys. I have a solo podcast for you this week. We have a lot to unpack. We have Love Island to go over, Taylor and Travis' wedding. So let's not waste any more time and let's get right into it. Hey guys, it's been a long time since it's been just us. I need to talk to you guys about my weekend, okay? Before we get into the topics of Taylor and Travis and Love Island, I just have to talk about my weekend, okay? First of all, did everybody have a great fourth? I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July, 250 years for America. That's beautiful, I love it. I hope everybody was bleeding red, blue, and white, all of the things, red, white, and blue. But yeah, so I just need to tell you guys about my weekend because I feel like I've just been through a lot. So for the 4th of July, we took my stepdaughter to Universal Kids and Frisco. Now I don't know if you guys have seen all the discourse online about Universal Kids. It's been a hot topic around here and... If you don't know anything about what's going on with Universal Kids, let me just really break it down for you. It's terrible. And basically it is a amusement park, know, think Universal Studios, okay? You have that in Orlando, you have that in Hollywood. And then now they moved a location to Frisco, Texas, but just centered around kids, ages like, I think it's targeted from like three to 10, I don't know, but it's like very, very young kids, okay? So that's all fine and dandy, right? Like if you're thinking, it's like, okay, great, whatever. Wasn't sure how that was all gonna work out. know, we're watching it being built and there's just not a lot of high hopes for it. We're just, I really have no idea. But you know, we're gonna take my stepdaughter, like we're gonna at least experience it now. Just like keep in mind, okay? Like we've gone to Disney, we're taking her to Disney World soon. But she's fearless. Like she loves riding all the rides. Okay. And if you haven't been to Disney World Universal, whatever, if there are more like kids sections, like tailored to younger kids, here's the thing. You can still enjoy them as an adult, as an older child. Like they're so immersive in the details and they're indoor rides majority of the time, which gives you a little break from the heat, whatever's going on outside. It's a lot more fun and a lot more enjoyable. But that was completely opposite for what we experienced in Universal Kids. And so here's the thing. like, it looks like a pop-up or maybe like the state fair, but just like the kids section. it just looks pre-abandoned is the best way that I've seen people describe it. And the fact that the name Universal is tied to it is actually crazy. And it's just really fun to see all the opinions online and people going back and forth because You have those groups of people that are like, my gosh, no, I love it. Like my kid had a blast. And it's like, yeah, your three, four, five year old would have fun. I mean, they're gonna have fun doing anything that's not just like sitting at home, you know? I mean, yeah, they're gonna have fun on a ride. They don't know any difference. They don't know that the quality of what they're experiencing is not that great. But the point is it's like you as a paying customer, like the parent, like you were gonna be the one Hey, there's nothing enjoyable about it. Okay. There's no shade. and my husband, we were sweating. Like some of the rides are so small that as an adult, like it's just not comfortable to go on. you know, we were watching and we were like, all right, go, like we'll watch whatever, but you couldn't even like sit down and enjoy it because the seats were so freaking hot. And, you know, I don't know. And they're just, everything just looked very rushed. Like they took the shortcut route of it all. But anyways, That was just absolutely crazy to see. you know, seeing you with my own two eyes, it confirmed. I was like, all right, yeah, we're not going to be spending a lot of time here. So definitely looking forward to our trip coming up to actual Disney World and Universal Studios. But yeah, I just had a gripe about that because I was like, great. They there was so much potential. They could have done a lot with it and it just looked absolutely terrible. Like everything kind of looked like a makeshift. you know, it looked like cardboard for the details. I don't know. just, it just kind of looks like, this is going to be for younger kids. They won't know the difference. So let's see where we can cut the corners. So for parents being like, no, my kid loved it. Well, it's like, yes. And another gripe that I have, it's like, it's very much, you know, tailored to those younger kids. But like I said, in Disney World and Universal Studios, like the big one, you know, it's like those. sections that are for younger kids are still enjoyable as an older kid, an adult, whatever, but this isn't. So it's like, if you're gonna do a family day and let's say you have age ranges of children, like your older kids, at least this is how I would view it. They're gonna be bored. It's like, really? Like we have to go, like there's no transitional section of, all right, we're gonna do maybe a little bit more advanced rides for kids that are older in the family. know, everybody's just gonna be tailored to a really young. set of children. anyways, I just had to complain about that because yeah, it's pretty terrible. So I would not if you were planning on coming here, visiting, going there, I would save your dollars. Do the real thing. Go to Disney World or Universal Studios in Florida. Also, another thing that happened to me this weekend, I literally got shat on by a bird. So that was absolutely just really was not what I had for myself. So me and my husband, we went to Austin, because we went to go see Kill Tony, Tony Hinchcliffe. It's his podcast show that he records live, whatever. Anyways, so the tickets are lottery, okay? You can't just go and purchase a ticket to go see his show. You have to be super lucky. So not only that, you have to be lucky enough to get a ticket, but then it's not assigned. So you have to go and like, they seat you in the order, you know, that you arrive. So we learned, because we've done this before, You learn that you have to get there pretty early. We were so much more prepared this time. We had our fold out chairs. We had fans. We had some snacks and waters and all that. And we're setting up camp. We're setting up shop and not even maybe like five minutes of us sitting down. All of a sudden I just feel liquid fall all over me. And I was like, can't no. I was thinking maybe it was some like drunk person like throwing water on the side of the building. Cause you know, it's Austin. People do a lot of crazy things there. No, it was bird poop. It was bird poop. I like for all places of it to land, of course it lands in my hair. That's just one of the sections. Okay. It was on my arm. It was on the side of my leg. It got on my purse. It got on the side of my little athletic dress. I was like, no freaking way. Had it just got on my body, whatever. But the fact that it was on my hair, like we just sat down. I was like, there's no freaking chance. I like, I just couldn't understand, I couldn't believe it. I was like, how is this happening? Thankfully, I was able to go into the restaurant next door and use their restroom. And honestly, like by the time I got to the restroom and the restaurant, things were turning white. Cause you know how like bird poop is white? Well, it wasn't when it first landed on me. So that was alarming. By the time I got in there, it was turning white aside from what was in my hair. So anyways, I basically had to do like, a makeshift shower from the sink, just trying to get that out to suffice, because there was no way, we could not go back to the hotel. There was nothing really that I could do in that moment. But not to be rude or anything, but if you've seen the crowd around in Austin, even with all of that, I was still doing a lot better. So I didn't really feel like, no, I need to really do damage control. So I just kind of did what I could to get it out of my hair and then, you know, wipe everything else off. But I just, yeah, that was not, not exciting for me. All right, so, enough of my weekend. I just really had to get that off my chest. I had to tell somebody, somebody that would maybe find it interesting, but let's get into more interesting topics. Taylor and Travis's wedding, okay? I am so glad that this finally happened. There's been just so many conversations surrounding this, you know, what you would consider like the American Royal wedding, basically. so many conspiracy theories of, where is it actually gonna be? No way it's actually at MSG. You know, this is just a decoy, whatever. Well, in fact, it actually was at MSG and, you know, I have opinions, but I mean, I'm just gonna first say that Taylor Swift, you know, we've never viewed her, or at least I never, I don't think she's ever been viewed as like a chic. a very stylish fashion person with taste of that nature. So is it that shocking that she had it at MSG? I mean, maybe in the sense of that it's smack dab in the middle of New York, but in terms of like, that just kind of seems tacky. mean, the girl doesn't know how to dress. Like she's never been one to be like, Ooh, she's like very fierce, chic. in style in that type of sense. So it doesn't really matter to me. mean, granted, I wasn't all up in arms about where she was having it or what. would, mean, honestly, I did kind of picture it being more in a very private location somewhere that no one would even know exists on the map type of thing. So it's just really funny to want all this privacy with all the security and everything. But then also have it like smack dab in the middle of New York City on a holiday weekend. But I don't know, mean, obviously I know with all the security and everything, like it could be in a very controlled environment, but it just, I don't know, it was kind of weird to me. was like, okay, there's so much security, you all this privacy, but this is where you're doing it. But like, whatever, no, I really don't care, but I'm just glad that it finally happened. And all the people that were like, there's no way she's doing that there can be proved wrong. Like she did it there, it happened, it's definitely there. It's really fun to hear everybody analyze the guest list because I'm just kind of thinking I'm like, alright How do you know like people are going down the guest list and they're like, my god, that person's invited that person's about what's the court? Do you really think like how are it's just I don't know I'm like, do you know who she's cool with who she's not like what level of friendship? It's not like she goes around like she's not an active person on social media. She doesn't go on podcast We don't really know too much of like her inner circle or like all the connections that she's with. I mean, she probably has so many. And also, are we forgetting? It's also Travis's wedding too. As much as, you know, it's all about the bride, you know, it's really her day. The groom is a key player in it as well. So he also has connections. It's not like he's just this random Joe Schmoe. Like he has a lot of friends, a lot of connections in Hollywood. So not every person that's on that list is probably a direct. you know, correlation to Taylor and whatever. But everybody just kind of being like, ooh, who like, why blah, blah, blah? Like, how would you know? Like, I don't go to my friend's weddings and expect to know the ins and outs of every single person that is invited there. I mean, if it's a super small wedding, let's say there's 50 people and you're like, oh, that's weird that they're. Yeah, then maybe we could be like, huh, I wonder like for her to pick that person. But it was a thousand people, basically. So it's like At that point, you know, it's just kind of like whoever you passed and saw and met at the coffee shop that week, you know, it, I mean, you can't overanalyze it that much, but to have Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds not there does say a lot. feel like that just confirms that they are not friends. I don't know. And who knows, maybe things are a little bit more on the men's with them or like it's going that direction, but maybe just with everything that. happened with the Justin Baldoni situation. It was just too close to home. It was just a little bit too close when all of that went down for her to wanna invite them. know people are like, those are the godparents of your children, or sorry, sorry. Taylor is the godparent of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' children, but I don't know, maybe that changes, I don't know. But I just think that it says a lot that they were not. invited like that confirms things are just not good. They are not friends. I mean, she like there were so many people there. And I think if things were on decent terms, like I think she would be like, okay, whatever, we can pull up a chair, we can pull up a table, but maybe not. Maybe not. And then, like I said, you know, it's just Taylor or sorry, Travis is also a part of this wedding. So he probably had to say in the guest list. But yeah, and then things that were just really shocking, but like happy for me to see was Nikki Glaser being there. I was shocked, honestly, I did not expect her to be somebody that would be a guest. And I'm happy for her because I don't know if you guys know anything really about Nikki Glaser, but like she kind of had a little bit of controversy with Taylor Swift, like back in the Americana documentary that Taylor did, I don't know, Nikki made some comment, whatever, but she like, fully regrets it, she's come on so many public platforms saying that like she's reached out apologizing because she just made some ignorant comments. But I mean, she is a huge Swifty. I don't know, like she's gone to so many concerts of the Eris tour, it's actually insane. And I didn't know that they had any really communication, like they were on that level. So to see her get an invite there, I was... super happy for her because I'm sure she was freaking out and that's just super exciting. good for Nikki. And then Adam Sandler officiating the wedding. Love that. Absolutely love that. I mean, I gotta say me and my husband were huge Adam Sandler fans and we were trying to see if we can finesse a way to get him to be somewhat some way involved in our wedding. So I'm super jealous that that happened for Taylor and Travis. I just think, I don't know, he's just like the perfect person to do that. So I'm super jealous about that. And yeah, I mean, I just feel like he's just somebody in Hollywood that no one really has an issue with. He's just an all round, just like good guy, good family man, has values, just is very humble and... Yeah, I'm we're just huge Adam Sandler fans. And so I just thought that was funny that, you know, we tried to somehow see if we could get obviously are fetched. But but yeah, I don't know. I just think that that's super cool that they had him do it. And I think that's probably got to be a little bit more of Travis's input. Don't we think? Don't we think? Because I would be a little bit shocked if Taylor was the one to initiate that. idea because she just seems like to somebody to have somebody that would be more sentimental maybe in her personal life like before Hollywood like that would be involved in her life Hollywood or not. But I don't know. don't know. Like I said we don't know these people and like their inner working relationships with these people. So analyzing the guest listen who did what is kind of just silly. But for Adam Sandler to officiate it I'm jealous. Happy for them. That's amazing. Other things that I found just kind of weird. And again, some of the stuff it's like, I don't know, is this true? Is it not? Is it AI? Because I feel like there's so many speculations going on. So it's like, I never really fully know like, okay, did this actually happen? Is this made up? Because obviously this is like the buzz right now. So everybody's just all up in arms and like wanting to know all the details foaming at the mouth basically. But I saw something and I don't know. So please tell me in the comments if this actually happened or didn't happen. because I'm judging really hard. Okay, she had like a raffle going on. I don't know. I saw somebody say, I can't even remember who, but they won the raffle for a Chanel bag. I don't know if there were multiple bags, if there were multiple different items, but that's so freaking weird. It's just like these things that I'm hearing, it's like she's treating her wedding like a carnival event. And I don't know. something like that is weird. If you want to gift everybody a Chanel bag, sure, by all means, go for it. I think she gifted everybody a Cartier watch, but maybe not. don't know. Again, I don't really know everything that's true or not. I can't tell because everybody is so just honed in on this wedding and just dying to know all these little details. So I could literally be just continuing a rumor right now. But raffling, like having a little raffle section at your wedding is so weird. I don't know why you would want to do that. That just seems really tacky to me. But again, Taylor, I've never claimed to view her as somebody that's like super like chic or having that sort of taste. I don't know. really just, but like whatever and kudos to whoever won that bag, you know, good for you. But yeah, I mean, and then shutting down, of course, all of New York, basically that would be super annoying. If I was a resident there, just, that would make me, if I was a fan, I feel like that would turn me away as a fan. Obviously it didn't affect me being here, but I just like the thought to like shut down the whole city. It's like, go get an island somewhere. Go get an island. You like, you don't need to do that here. You literally have so much money. You could build whatever you're wanting to build an MSG over on the island and you probably could fly everybody out there too. I don't know. I just feel like, It's like, get it, but I don't, you know what I mean? It's like, I get it. It's like a more controlled like arena. Like you can get all these people to just like, I don't even know, but it was just too much. It was just too much. And then you're affecting all just like the regular folk. And then you wanna be like, oh, like here's $30 million to charity or maybe it was 50. I don't even know, but Yeah, just pausing people's lives for your huge event. That would just make me really irritated, but whatever. I wasn't there, so I wasn't affected, but I'm glad that the wedding's over with now. And I'm surprised there hasn't been more spillage of the wedding, but I'm pretty sure people had to sign NDAs, which is also crazy, because it's like, what else went down? But yeah, so that's the wedding. Glad it's over with. Now we can all move on. Okay, now I wanna talk about Love Island. And so I need to kind of go backwards a little bit because I know the past couple of episodes I've had guests on, so I haven't really fully been able to talk about the episodes that have been going on. But I just wanna kind of go backwards a little bit. So I wanna go back to movie night, okay? And I am so glad that movie night happened, but I'm also just kind of like, what's the point? if no changes are gonna happen within the couples. You know what I mean? Like, okay, we're seeing Sincere and we're seeing, well, okay, not really Melanie, but like we're seeing Sincere and all of his back and forth that he did with Melanie and then with Sol and then Amora, like, you whenever he was over at Casa. And you can see the obvious. hurt in Melanie's face, like she's devastated and she's calling him out, rightfully so. Everyone's calling everyone out as they should. But what I just don't understand, it's like, okay, great, like you're showing all of this, but there's not really gonna be a change in the outcome. So is it more just for like drama of the arguing? Like in a perfect world for me, would have been like, she would have been like, okay, that's it, we're done. No, like I've seen what I've needed to see, you know what I mean? if, but again, I know that people can Like the producers can't force them to recouple or whatever or move on, but just being able to like see it for your own eyes, like you're getting more and more proof and then you're just still continuing to choose that person. It's just like, everybody seems to be playing it safe. And that's really boring for me. I'm just like, I don't really understand it, but whatever. Another thing that I was really loving, cause I, was wanting this, okay? I don't know if that makes me just like a terrible person or not, but I really wanted Kata to know that Alana, is that her name? I think it's, yeah, it's Alana had left the villa. Do I think Zach would have picked her regardless? Yes, I 100,000 % do. However, I still think that she should have known that she had left the villa. So like ultimately, Zach really didn't have a choice. was either he was gonna come back to pick Kata or he's just like, I'm picking nobody that which then he would be single. Like I don't even know if that's even possible, but it was like, he really didn't ultimately have to pick at the end of the day. Like he just, it was defaulted to her. And I understand her being upset about that. And it's just, you can see the wheels turning. She's like, wait, where was she? And then she's just now learning that this chick. because I just had no idea how that got played out. Like I don't know if Zach ended up telling her separately through a different conversation that we didn't get to see, but to see it unravel for her and we're watching the, you know, the two plus two, Carrie, the, you know, all that happened like right in front of our faces. I was getting so, I was feeling very satisfied. I gotta admit, does that make me the devil? I don't know, but. I felt like that was something that needed to be discussed. I feel like that was a loop that wasn't closed, know, a box that wasn't checked. So everybody being like, but he would have picked you regardless. He was gonna pick you regardless. Like it didn't matter. No, it does. It does. And I agree with her a hundred percent on that because yeah, like why would you not tell me that? And like, she left, but I mean, whatever. Like I picked you. Cause then it's just kind of like, you're kind of creating this whole. facade of like, yeah, like I came back to you, like I pick you like at the end, like you, you, Well, that may be true. However, you really fully didn't get a say at the end of the day. So yeah, I think that is important to kind of disclose. So I completely understand her, her infestation with that. But again, it doesn't matter because they still stay together. They talk about it, whatever. They work through it. But yeah, I just, whatever. That was boring to me. And then it really seemed like, you know, Casey, he was really kind of seeing all of his actions. And one thing, you know, that I find so interesting with movie night that I was thinking with myself, I was like, okay, I forget that these people don't see all of this extra stuff, because obviously, you know, as viewers, we're seeing the different conversations, we're seeing like the different things that are happening. In my mind, I'm just like, forget that they don't know that that's going on because they obviously can't see everything for themselves. But I'm just thinking like, they're in the same vicinity. So surely like, they're just kind of seeing the way that they're moving the things that they're saying, whatever. obviously, like, that's not the case. So it's like, I forget. So it's like all this stuff that we had been seeing for a while, like as these episodes have gone on, like something that's not new to us. And then seeing their reactions to it. I was just like, my gosh, like I just forget like they yeah, like duh, they don't know every single conversation that their connection or couple is having and the way that they're maneuvering. Like, so to see how everybody was responding to the way that Casey was behaving was just, and you could just feel it. Like he was like, ooh, like I am like getting embarrassed of myself. Like you could just see it in his face. He was just like hollowing into a shell. And thank goodness and you know, I really just didn't think it was very fair because then they flipped, know, obviously they showed Ania's Clip and she's like entertaining Carl but here's what was just driving me insane that I feel like everybody was just really not really everybody but more so the guys because you know, it's like they get all on defense mode because it's like as soon as another girl is Maybe trying to explore a connection then they wanna just like flip and be like, you guys are doing the same thing, it's a double standard. No, like you guys are literally missing the big picture. Everybody keeps trying to freaking hammer it in by saying, it is not about exploring, it is not about that, it is the way you move when you explore. Like you don't have to put down somebody else to explore another connection and see if that's there. So it's like, while you're entertaining Titi, Casey, like you don't have to go talk negatively and talk terribly and say that she's like a grandma, she's boring. never have anything in common to all your other guys. All you had to do is be like, yeah, like I'm really feeling TT. feel like we have a really strong connection. Like Anaya is a great girl, but like, I just don't think we're clicking. Like we're not on that level that I want to be. Whoa, that was so easy. You know what I mean? So when they were trying to flip it and be like, Anaya, you're doing the same thing with Carl. don't see, I, unless I fell asleep, I missed where she was being so rude about Casey. And can we also keep in mind, like these girls were a little bit fueled. gotta like admit like they were fueled because they were able to see how the guys like they got a live stream of seeing the Costa girls for the first time. you, it's kind of like null and void, know, like your check is bounced. Like that doesn't make any sense for you to try to flip it on the girls and be like, well you guys were doing this. Number one, they were not disrespectful. Number two, they got a glimpse of how you moved and how you, so they weren't just gonna be bumps on a log. Like it's like, okay, yeah, let me go see what I can figure out, you know? But all that to say for them, know, then we come to Kenzie and she just kind of got obliterated, I wanna say, because let's just be honest, like Kenzie has explored a lot, okay? She went from Zach to like, entertaining Sean obviously Sean was an in for very long, but pretty sure went Zach Sean Corbin Caleb back to Corbin Zach Or sorry not Zach Dylan gall but like with Dylan Here's the thing Maybe you know like I think Yes, she was doing what she needed to do in terms of exploring, okay? You're trying out multiple connections. I think where people were just really like, Kenzie, no, was what she was saying to other people, you know, which was kind of similar to like what's sincere and Casey, maybe more so sincere. It's like, you're telling all these other people, like you're kind of portraying it as like, no, I really do like you, I see this moving forward. while also entertaining other people. It's not like you're being too upfront and being like, I am exploring. I do like you, but I still wanna explore. think you were kind of saying similar things and then kind of being sneaky. But here's the thing, I do know, like with Corbin, she had a really strong connection with him and America kind of split that up. So that kind of ended abruptly. feel like... So I feel like that part isn't really fair, but at the same time, you know, she was talking to Caleb about like, no, like I do like you like poor Caleb, like justice for Caleb. Like I think he is too good, too pure of a soul to be on that type of show. But yeah, I think she was just playing it a little bit, but you know, here's the thing and I'm just gonna go right back to it. She wasn't being disrespectful. I'm sorry, she wasn't being rude about other people, talking about their looks, talking about just, saying negative things like I think she just was exploring other people but like being nice to them kind of like leading them on but not putting other people down. So I feel like it is a little bit different. And yeah I will say which maybe we can get more into but like her and Dylan I'm just like not really feeling that Dylan is kind of giving me the ick I gotta admit like I just feel like there's something weird about that guy. I don't know. I'll say it. There's something weird about him. Sure, you do want a guy that's in tune with his emotions and can be vulnerable with you, but day three, he's already crying in your shoulder? No, absolutely not. That was weirding me out so much. At first I was like, that's sweet. He really cares. And then tears, I was like, absolutely not. What are we doing here? And you know, whenever he was like figuring out that she was like talking to Gal for a little bit. Like keep in mind, you, like Kenzie is like, you guys were in there for such a short amount of time, like these Casa boys, right? So it's like, doesn't want to put her eggs all in one basket. Like she sees what that happened with Corbin. It was like, she really liked Corbin and you know, she got matched with Kayla, but then she went back to Corbin and then all of a sudden she sees how Corbin moves. Like, you know, maybe she's just like not trying to put all of her eggs in one basket. And it's like, I haven't done this deep of a connection yet with Dylan. Like it's probably fine if I maybe see what's going on with Gall. I think that's fair. But the way Dylan handled it and the way he cannot let it go is actually just kind of like freaking me out a little bit. It's kind of weird. And I'm just like, okay, we got to figure this out. Either you need to like get over it and move on and not bring it up anymore or just like understand that like that's not your person. And then just write, like write it off. move on. But you know, I don't know. So anyways, so like movie night happened, whatever. And it's like people are seeing everything that's exposed and like nothing changed really, you know, everybody. It's pretty much just like, that's just what it was. It's like, okay, great. And then like arguments happened, but no recouplings later on, like no, nobody broke up. Yeah, so I'm just like, okay, like that's just kind of boring. Like I was expecting like a bigger result after like at least something I don't know. So after that, when I saw that like, all right, no changes are gonna happen to couples. I was like, all right, no one like nothing will ever them break them up. Like these people are staying with their people. whatever. But anyways, so like we move on, like we have a recoupling and then we have a dumping, okay. Gall is so freaking weird. Let me just say, so Gall was paired with Jen, right? And poor Jen, like I just feel terrible for her because she just really got, and I guess because like I said, I haven't watched another season before. like, I guess like this season has just been really hard for your bombshells because there was just no way to really get involved with any of the OG people or like try to like make connections. And of course, you know, she had something with Gabe, but then he got, you know, voted off the island. So then she's kind of just been like a lost puppy. She can't break up any of the other couples. And then, you know, she gets this opportunity of like these Casa Amor guys, like everybody's like a free agent with these guys. And then of course she brings back the one guy who's like, I'm not feeling you. I'm gonna not pick you, but you know, justice was served later. But like, I just, I don't know. He was so weird with how he just couldn't, like, I don't know if he was just trying to look good for TV or what, but the way he couldn't, he could not, Translate that he was not interested in Jen like it was like he did kind of in a way by also saying that he was also interested in Kenzie But then when he started to be like you're being really aggressive right now You're being really aggressive like you're too touchy like you to like just say you're not into her because at this point like You're just making yourself look weird by making all these like excuses on as to why like it's not working It's just not this and then whenever it comes to the recoupling you choose Amora It's like, okay, whatever. Like that was a little interesting, but like I just felt really bad for Jen because I just felt like she didn't get a true shot and like she just was great TV. I mean, I loved how she called out Kenzie by being like, that's so rude. Like I wouldn't be your friend because Kenzie was trying to entertain Golfer a little bit. And she's like, I had to find out from everybody else besides you. And I thought we were really close, but I don't know. I just hope that. I don't know. mean, I guess she's gone now. So I just felt like it was kind of ironic that she got dumped essentially by somebody that she brought into the Villa. like, but Gull just seemed like he just wanted to be on TV. I don't really know. just didn't really, aside from Carl, I just don't really care about these Casa guys. So anyways, so basically after that, Jen, whatever. Okay. And then, so everybody's all coupled up and it's The only new couple was Gall and Amora. Okay. And now we're doing the compatibility test. Okay. So basically they all had to vote for two people, two couples that they thought were the least compatible. Whoever got the most votes immediately dumped from the island. So obviously like it wasn't a shock that Gall and Amora got the most votes because they literally just got coupled right then and there. There's no sense of like, we think you're compatible. So like, I get it. It was to be expected. so kind of boring on that part. Like I get it. Like, you know, you have nothing to go off. So you're not just gonna like dump somebody else. However, I thought it was really annoying that Jaden and Caleb got dumped from the villa. Honestly, kudos to Corbin and Parmita for voting for Melanie and Sincere. I'm so sick of like this loyalty aspect in terms of like OGs sticking with OGs. I feel like people are so scared. Like if you're an OG, person on the island. Like you just, it's just like embedded in you to just stay loyal to the people that you came in with, you know? And that is really irritating. So it's like, I was really happy when people were kind of going after the core, especially Sincere and Melanie and like shout out to Parmita. Like I feel like, yeah, like even though they're so goofy and just so superficial, whatever it's like, do they have brain cells? I don't know. Well, they did in this moment because Parmita I feel like was being, you know, they all want to claim girls girl or looking for each other's back. She was probably the realest one of them all being like Melanie, like, I don't think y'all are compatible. Like sure you guys have stuck to each stuck with each other since day one, but like, look at how he treats you. He constantly lies to you. Like you deserve better than that. And that's what Melanie needed here. Did anything happen with it? No, but I appreciated that because it was so real. Like just because you guys consistently choose each other and yeah, maybe there's like this attraction or like you do get along. Like there is something obviously that's drawing you guys to each other. Doesn't necessarily mean you're compatible long-term. Like this should be the honeymoon phase. Like there shouldn't be as many tears as there are going on right now. And that's all that's happened. Like what do you think is gonna happen on the outside world? So I just really felt like that was such a smart decision. And I was really happy that that happened because it's like no one wants to go after these core people. And for them to say, yeah, like, I don't think this relationship is healthy. It's toxic. I felt like that was a true real response. It wasn't anything superficial or, you know, just whatever of an excuse. was very legit. And it looks like Melanie was really appreciative of that response. But in reasoning, but she didn't do anything with it. So again, it's like, okay, whatever. What's the point? Like that was just such a waste. So anyways, at the end of the day, Gall and Amara, they left. And then Jaden and Caleb, they left. They got the most votes, which doesn't shock me because of course, you know, they all were either bombshells, Cosm or whatever. And again, it just goes to show it's like, okay, is this like a friendship show or is this a love show? It's like people just have such loyalty to like the friendships, which like, yes, but it's like, make it make sense first, you know, like if people were gonna vote Trinity and Bryce as least compatible. Like that wouldn't make sense because that's not true. But you know, even though they've been together since day one, however, if you want to look at Melanie and Sincere, even Kada and Zach for a little bit, they were having issues, like, you know, make it a little bit interesting. I don't know. It just seems like the people that are original are scared to, because they've created such strong friendships. It's like, they're scared to kind of like create waves with that. but yeah, I don't know. I don't know. It just seems more of like a political like friendship type of votes at the end of the day. So yeah, but, okay. So we have that we move on now. Now we have karaoke night. so this was like a fun competition. It was amazing to see something else besides like all these like make-outs and like twerking and everything that just like didn't involve necessarily a bathing suit. So each couple picked a song and you know, they sang dance just did like a little fun routine. And then, you know, us viewers, had to vote. And I guess the most votes for like your favorite couple, kind of, Ariana said they weren't ranked in a specific order, like when she said them. But obviously, you know, the couples that were safe and then the ones at the bottom, they were basically up for elimination, like dumping. And Kenzie and Dylan, they won the competition. So you're looking, you you're seeing all these couples like Ariana is saying that are safe, like they're fine, like they're not gonna be leaving the island. Then we have the bottom three, which is Kenzie and Zach, my gosh, I'm sorry. Kenzie and Dylan, Zach and Kata, and Parmita and Corbin. Well, because Kenzie and Dylan won, they were safe. Like they won the karaoke, whatever, because the other couples got to vote. They got to rank from like best to worst, whatever. So they won, so they were safe. So it's down to Zach and Kata and Parmita and Corbin. Already I know Zach and Kata are safe. Why? Why? Because we look at loyalty. here, okay? It's all friendships. So people are going to pick who they're closest to with friends. And that's exactly what happened because pretty much everybody went over to Zach and Kata. And then the one vote for Corbin and Parmita was Casey and TT and like TT and Parmita like they were Casa Amor girls and then know, Casey and Corbin are super close. So it's just like a whole friendship thing. You're like not really looking at it because I mean, as dumb as I view Corbin and Parmita and like their conversations, Yeah, they're probably more compatible than Zach and Kata at the end of the day, but whatever. No, it's a friendship. It's a popularity contest. So ultimately Parmita and Corbin went home and I was just like, like of course, as soon as I started kind of like warming up to them and you know, Parmita kind of making like a huge move in that compatibility test competition, I was excited to see what more could happen. And of course they go home anyways. Like I just. I don't know. It's just like so annoying when things can get so predictable. Like I can't handle it. And I just feel like Zach and Kata were saved because of history, not chemistry, you know, cause just because you guys were together from the very beginning basically, and you're still together. Like, does that necessarily mean you have more chemistry that you're more compatible, that you're a stronger couple? I don't think so. I honestly think it's because you're just playing it safe. It's like at this point, you know, now you really have to stick to with each other because the season's almost over. So obviously you're not going to not stay as a couple, but just because you played it safe, like I don't think that constitutes as you having more compatibility than the next person that maybe got coupled up more recently. You know what I mean? Like I just, I don't know. I just, I just don't see long game for them. And here's another thing too. Like, I'm sorry. Zach lives in Australia, right? Like he doesn't live anywhere close. to like not even a similar time zone. How in the world do they truly think outside of this is gonna work? I don't know, but the crash outs that Kada is having and Zach really are turning me off. Like, listen, I love Kada. I'm a huge fan of her. I love her voice. I think she's so fierce. I think she's so chic. I just, genuinely love her as like a person, but like this whole couple, I don't love them together. And I don't like some of the responses and reactions to how the competitions are going. It's really just irritating me. Like they are so worried about what America thinks. Like when they were getting the votes of like it was going into what America voted and how they were being saved. Like she was beside herself. Well, I honestly was too. That Melanie and Sincere were voted, had more votes than Kata and Zach. That was kind of crazy. I will give her that. I mean, even Melanie was shocked. But you know, then she's also saying like Casey and TT like, what is that? And like Anaya and Carl, like she loves them, but like, what is that? I'm sorry. Like they do. Like I, I do. think Casey and TT are way more compatible than you and Zach are. Don't care. Just because it's a shorter amount of time. I just, I genuinely think that they, they are more compatible. And anyways, so just seeing her just being so like, well, what, like, why does America hate me? Why does America hate us? Like what is going on? Like, You're worrying about the wrong thing. One, I get it, like can't say maybe I would react the same, like I don't know, I'm sure you get really in your head, you're like what is America seeing that I'm not, like am I missing something, like am I being portrayed a certain way, like maybe. I could see you getting in your head about that, I can't say that I wouldn't. You just, don't know, to dwell on that so much, baby, you gotta move on. It's too much for me. The tears about it, worrying about that voting, just move on, you're safe. It's fine, you know? Or just admit you wanna win at the end and that's why you're worried. Because you should know, okay, if you're as involved in your relationship and feel it's very solid and... can't be broken, who cares then? Who cares where you're ranked? Just worry about you and Zach and how you guys are feeling mutually in the relationship and then just like focus on that. Like you're worrying about the wrong things and so anyways, just like those crash outs were really starting to give me the ick and like I love Kata, so like I don't wanna have that opinion of her, but I'm like, all right, we gotta stop thinking about that. But like, I don't know, I don't know. I think it's more so Zach than her. It's like, I just think like them as a couple like, the way he acts. mean, I just don't think he like I feel like she could do so much better. I really wish she would have explored. I can't even remember what his name is now. But maybe it was Che. I can't even remember. But whoever that guy was in Casa, I wish she explored more. I just don't think Zach is the man for her. I feel like she just needs more of a manly man. What is going to be take more initiative and like romance her and all this. And I just feel like She picked Zach, honed in on him. They went to hideaway super early. And I just feel like it's now it's like, okay, well, we're just having to stick with each other. And again, it's that whole like, like loyalty thing of like, okay, we went through all this. Like now, you know, it's almost too late to like try to change anything. And then, you know, her being really upset about the whole situationship of their relationship, you know, because. He said, like, I wanna be exclusive with you. I don't wanna say boyfriend, girlfriend, but I wanna be exclusive with you. And, you know, she was super excited about that, like whatever. And here's the thing, like, I... Don't disagree with it. Like I kind of go both ways on it because one, actually no, I take it back. It's like we're gonna be boyfriend and girlfriend then, you know, because here's my thing. If you feel like when Zach said, I just don't know what it's gonna be like out in the real world. That's why I'm waiting. Heck no. If you feel strongly enough about me in here, you wanna be exclusive, but What that tells me is like, you wanna see what other opportunities you're gonna get outside. Like once the show is done, you think now maybe you're gonna get more maybe women in your DMs or just like other relationship opportunities or like whatever. Like you don't want to put an actual label on it. So that way, once you guys exit, it's a lot easier to kind of be like sayonara. So actually I take that back. I was gonna say, I kind of understand. I don't, I don't. Either we just stay what we are. Like don't say exclusive, but not boyfriend and girlfriend. Be boyfriend and girlfriend or just say what like stay in that moment, like of whatever it is. Because otherwise I just think it's absolutely like a waste of time. Now you're creating confusion. And then so for Trinity, know, she's like, it's a situation chip, which obviously made Kata so upset. And I don't agree with the term. situation for this because I do agree with Kenzie where Kenzie was like, no, like situation ship seems more messy, more of like, this is like a hookup situation. Like we hang out at night, maybe you're like, whatever, like we're not dating exclusively. And we kind of just know like, like we text when we want to text or like hang out when we want to hang out. Like there's not really anything that's, you know, you have to feel obligated to. I don't think that's. the term to describe Zach and Kata. But I mean, it's not any better. Like whatever Zach presented to Kata, I would have been like, no, we're either going to be boyfriend and girlfriend or we're not exclusive because I just feel like he was trying to give himself kind of like a pass. And then but you know, she was really upset about the whole situation chip title. And it's like, girl, like you're getting mad at the wrong person. You're getting mad at the wrong thing. The wrong like instead of being mad at the term situation chip, flip it, ask Zach, be like, okay, wait, we need to talk about this more. I need more clarity. Like, why is this going down the way that, I mean, who knows unless if that's what she wants, if she's like in agreement, like, yeah, like I don't wanna be official yet. Like I wanna see, you know, what it's like outside of the villa too. Like when the show's done, okay. But she hasn't really voiced that. Like she just is so into him. She's always been like my man, my man and all of that. So yeah, I just feel like he's kind of. cheating the situation, kind of like cutting corners to kind of like, like make her happy, make them seem more without making it official. I just feel like he's kind of being like, you know, pull a Bryce, be like, no, let's be boyfriend and girlfriend. We can figure out the outside when we get there, but we're boyfriend and girlfriend. Do that. It didn't help any probably that Casey and TT are now boyfriend and girlfriend. Like Casey asked TT to be like official with her. and so I'm just like, my God, see, you know, it can be done. and another thing too, like people probably are like, not in agreement with this, but I love Casey and TT. And here's the thing. Casey was an absolute jerk to Ania. Okay. Like that was no secret. Like the way he talked about her, whatever it was completely just rude and hurtful. Cause Ania, it did seem like she really liked Casey. But here's the thing, I just don't know, like he just didn't have that emotional maturity to just kind of be like, I like you as a friend. Like I am not seeing a romantic connection with this. So he just really just, I don't know if he just didn't know how to handle it or what, but just really just went off and just said hurtful things and just went about it all the wrong way. But it's very clear that you can see that he does know how to treat somebody that he actually cares for. Cause like him, the way he is with Titi, He's never been like that with Anaya. So with those guys were saying that, know, in Casa More like telling TT, like I've never seen Casey be so happy and like act the way that he has since we've been here, whatever. Like I've seen that to be true. And like I've grown to really be a fan of them. And like I see longevity outside of the show. Like dare I say, like I actually think that they have a very fair shot besides Bryce and Trinity. To me, once you become official, I feel like as early as they did, I hate to say, I love Bryce and Trinity, but for me, that would be a very boring outcome. It's like, okay, great, you guys have established that you're gonna be in a relationship with each other. Amazing. For somebody that we're not really sure, let me, I want a couple that had to go through adversity to win, where it's like, they had to go through a little bit of a struggle, the whole costume or drama and. they went through that and then they stuck by each other and they just seemed really sweet. Like I, I like that. I haven't really seen a struggle with Bryce and Trinity really like truly as much as everybody else. And so for them to win that, I honestly feel like that would be super boring, but I don't know. I like a little bit more of a thrill. Like, do I think they'll win? Probably. But I honestly think that Casey and TT are giving them a run for their money. So We'll see, we'll see, but I just, there's just been so much going on. have a family night coming up. The season is wrapping up. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. I, I'm super excited. I've really enjoyed so far this first season that I've been watching. So we'll see. I did vote for my four couples. People are probably not going to agree with it, but my four couples that I want to see in finale are KC and TT. Bryce and Trinity, Anaya and Carl, and I picked Melanie and Sincere, believe it or not. Here's the thing, before people get all up in arms, like why didn't I vote Zach and Kata? Here's the thing, like I said earlier, just because you've been together basically since day one and you're still together doesn't necessarily mean you have chemistry. And I think, even though Sincere and Melanie have had a lot more issues, they've obviously had a lot of toxic things going on, I do think they actually have chemistry. Like there's a lot more chemistry I see versus Zach and Kata. Zach has more chemistry with Bryce than he does with Kata. I'm sorry, like that's just it. At the end of the day, Zach and Kata aren't gonna win, Melanie and Sincere aren't gonna win, so does it really truly matter? No, I needed to fill that third spot, but I picked Melanie and Sincere, one for it would be more dramatic. Two, they've been through a lot, but I do feel like they have a stronger like chemistry attraction to each other than Zach and K to do. So that was my decision. Don't care, I stand 10 toes down on that decision. So yeah, I guess we'll see. We'll see who makes it to finale night. And I'm super excited. And yeah, I'm curious to see how the families are gonna handle everything. All of this is, know, first time go around. So I'm super excited, but. All right, so we're gonna wrap up this episode. We are going to do Chic and Week of the Week. My chic is America. Cheers to 250 years. So that's super exciting. Yeah, I had a great Fourth of July. I hope all of you guys did too.
