- 0:12Good morning. This is DeProgram with Ted Rall
- 0:15and Jamarl Thomas. It's Friday, October 16, 2026.
- 0:20We are going to have Jamarl joining us in just
- 0:24a minute or two when he finishes up with his
- 0:26usual show. Thanks for tuning in and for supporting
- 0:30the show. Really appreciate you. We're here Monday
- 0:33through Friday, 9 a.m. till 11 on Mondays, Wednesdays,
- 0:37and Fridays. Tuesdays and Thursdays, we're here
- 0:40until 10 o'clock. Today, however, even though
- 0:43it is a Friday, is a truncated show. So we're
- 0:46only here for an hour. Got half a dozen stories
- 0:48to cover, so that's roughly 10 minutes each.
- 0:51Good morning, Jamarl. Good morning. And we are
- 0:54going to, no DMZ America. We're going to take
- 0:57the week off this week due to the fact that co
- 1:00-host Scott Stantis is traveling. TMI resumes
- 1:03next week. All right, here's what we've got for
- 1:06today. This is a really crazy story. To ICE, all dark-skinned people look the same.
- 1:15And now apparently dark-skinned dead
- 1:20people look the same as dark-skinned live people.
- 1:23Remember the guy that they ran into on purpose
- 1:26and lied about in Houston? They ran over him
- 1:29and broke his leg in a million pieces. Turns
- 1:32out that the guy they were actually looking for,
- 1:34and they claimed that he was, actually died nine
- 1:38years ago, himself being chased by other immigration
- 1:42agents and on a cliff on the US-Mexico border.
- 1:46I swear you can't make this stuff up. Prime Minister
- 1:49Mark Carney of Canada says that the US is trying
- 1:53to own Canada and break it apart. He's urging
- 1:58Alberta not to vote for independence or to start
- 2:02steps towards independence. Another school shooting.
- 2:04It had been a while. I was wondering what's
- 2:07going on. This one in Bend, Oregon. Three kids
- 2:11and a teacher dead so far. 16-year-old shooter,
- 2:14bystander saw him and killed him. It turns out,
- 2:18which this probably doesn't need a lot of time
- 2:20to talk about, but we had sort of speculated
- 2:24yesterday about who told Starlink to, or who
- 2:27shut down or throttled Starlink for Ukraine.
- 2:30That order, Reuters says, did come out, as we
- 2:33thought, from the White House. Trump apparently
- 2:36didn't know about it. I have some questions for
- 2:37you about that, Jamarl. Dublin, a hotel in Dublin
- 2:43cancelled a block of rooms reserved for an anti
- 2:46-Semitism conference. This is not an IDF or Israel
- 2:51thing. Obviously, now you're starting to see
- 2:54sort of a blowback against Israel that's
- 2:58migrating against Jews in general. And I have
- 3:01thought further thoughts about Ilhan Omar. And
- 3:03there's more details coming out about exactly
- 3:05what the DOJ is on about. And we'll talk about
- 3:08that. I think this is a wedge test for Democrats,
- 3:11Jamarl. So where shall we start? Let's start
- 3:17with. Oh, that was a story that you recounted.
- 3:21It wasn't the Ilhan Omar one. It was the two
- 3:23ones before Ilhan Omar. Two ones before, that
- 3:26would be Starlink. Yes, Starlink. Okay, okay.
- 3:29Yeah, so from my point of view, it was,
- 3:33okay, this is obviously coming out of the White
- 3:34House, right? Yep, you called it. Yeah, and we
- 3:38both called it, because it was, do we really
- 3:40believe that Elon Musk is sitting somewhere turning
- 3:42up and down the dials of Starlink? He has too
- 3:48many kids to create. He doesn't have time for
- 3:51that. Right. He has to procreate and get to Mars.
- 3:54He doesn't have time for all that. It's obviously
- 3:57the White House. Trump is being humiliated by
- 3:59Zelensky hitting refiners. Meaning when the White
- 4:02House comes out, the president of the United
- 4:03States, the beacon of democracy comes out, it
- 4:06says, stop hitting refiners. And you're telling
- 4:10your client, it's like you're telling your child.
- 4:13And they continuously do it. And then they go
- 4:15on Piers Morgan and bitch about it. Oh, we felt
- 4:18betrayed by our allies. They weren't helping
- 4:20us. We need patriots, blah, blah, blah, blah,
- 4:23blah. Okay, what does that mean for the president?
- 4:25Is the president too weak to control his proxy?
- 4:28And so, yeah, I can imagine the White House,
- 4:31we need to teach that little troll a lesson.
- 4:35So when you go off for your attacks, using the
- 4:37weapon in ways that technically, according to
- 4:40Elon Musk, aren't supposed to be used. Because
- 4:42they're not supposed to be used in offensive
- 4:43operations. Wink, wink. You have to
- 4:47say that for your just hashtag Russia
- 4:49don't blow my shit out the sky. Right. We turn
- 4:53it down. Now, the interesting part is what you
- 4:55point out. They claim Trump didn't know. That
- 5:01is the interesting part. That's wild.
- 5:07Didn't you connect this to the fiasco about the
- 5:12execution in Hegseth? The first thing I thought
- 5:15was Hegseth. I was like, how is he this in the
- 5:18dark? Did Hegseth tell the president that he was
- 5:21going to execute him on live stream? The president
- 5:23didn't seem to know. Or for that matter, him
- 5:25being in a wheelchair. The wheelchair, yeah.
- 5:27He barely knew about the live stream and he certainly
- 5:30didn't know about the wheelchair. Yeah. And now
- 5:33you get the situation where they're like, nobody
- 5:35told the president. OK, so who did it? Who did
- 5:38it? Who asserted that authority? You don't need
- 5:41a micromanager president. Right. But you
- 5:43do want the president to be read into the most
- 5:46important stuff. And this is important stuff.
- 5:50And obviously they're telling the truth. Right.
- 5:55It could be plausible deniability. Talk
- 5:58about extremes of plausible deniability. A lot
- 6:01of people don't know this. There's literally,
- 6:03he did know probably, but there's no
- 6:06historical evidence that Adolf Hitler ever knew
- 6:08about the Holocaust. In other words, there's
- 6:11no memo. There's no, he never signed off
- 6:14on it. He's like, go team. No,
- 6:16nothing like that. So it's maybe it's
- 6:20plausible deniability. The boss doesn't
- 6:22want to know. We just won't tell the boss. It
- 6:25could be that. But. This goes back to
- 6:28a lot of plausible deniability that takes place
- 6:30between the president, CIA, other agents.
- 6:33Ronald Reagan, the gipper. When Ronald Reagan
- 6:35was like, I didn't know anything about the Iran
- 6:37-Contra affair, but I'm the gipper and the buck
- 6:40stops with me. Okay, did Reagan actually know?
- 6:43Yeah, I believe Reagan knew. I think Reagan knew
- 6:48all about it, yeah. Yeah, and so I'm left with
- 6:51a situation like this where the president is
- 6:54being humiliated by a client. Could this be a
- 7:00Biden situation where the president
- 7:04is just out of it and mentally? And therefore,
- 7:08that's why he's not involved in
- 7:10these. But he's an empty husk like Joe Biden
- 7:12was. But it's humiliating. Anyway, you
- 7:16look at it, it's humiliating. You're telling
- 7:18your client. This puts me in the mind of
- 7:20Joe Biden and then Yahoo. That's what this puts
- 7:23me in mind of. Where Joe Biden is like, well,
- 7:25Israel needs to stop at so forth. And they blow
- 7:29past it. Well, Israel shouldn't do so forth.
- 7:32And they blow past it. Meaning over and over
- 7:33again, it's like he took every opportunity to
- 7:36humiliate Joe Biden. It feels a little bit like
- 7:38this. Hey, I need Zelensky to stop doing that.
- 7:40And Zelensky continues to do it. Then Zelensky
- 7:43goes and bitches about it. And even the White
- 7:45House thing where he gets into a pissing match
- 7:47with Vance and Trump in the middle of reporters.
- 7:50Meaning he knows what he's doing when he's bringing
- 7:53this stuff to the public because he believes
- 7:54that the public is his leverage. That I can tell
- 7:58the American public this and the American public
- 8:00would agree with me about this. And I can humiliate
- 8:03the president and force the president into doing
- 8:05X or Y based on public humiliation. He better
- 8:09be careful with that. The Europeans are
- 8:10freaking out. Well, the Europeans are basically
- 8:12like, shut the F up about Trump stuff. You realize
- 8:19we need him and the Starlink thing is a big thing
- 8:23right? The idea that they were not able to
- 8:26pursue their military objectives without the
- 8:28U.S. allowing them to do so. Well that's interesting
- 8:31right? It's super interesting yeah it's like well
- 8:35our allies didn't tell us so and by the way and
- 8:38who in the White House right? The White House
- 8:41told us right now that doesn't imply to me Hegseth
- 8:45or the cabinet or the CIA. It's the
- 8:51White House. Is this Susie Wiles?
- 8:53She's large and in charge and just
- 8:56taking care of it. Tell
- 8:59that little Z to back off. Who at the White
- 9:03House? I don't know. I honestly don't know. That's
- 9:06what I mean. When I hear White House I think
- 9:08Trump. Trump did this. And now they're trying to
- 9:11create this delineation between Trump and the
- 9:13White House. Or he just has one of his pastel
- 9:15of dumb blondes call. What's going on?
- 9:18Well, somebody apparently told the Pentagon,
- 9:20turn it down. Who is that person? I'm still going
- 9:25with the assumption of Trump. The catch becomes,
- 9:27why doesn't Trump want anybody to know? Okay,
- 9:30well, maybe the White House or the president
- 9:31doesn't want to be associated with it. Because
- 9:34apparently they've turned Starlink back to
- 9:36its normal settings. Well, I'm reading
- 9:39this book that we're going to interview
- 9:40Stephen Kinzer the
- 9:42week after next about Ukraine
- 9:45and it reminded me. I was reading just yesterday
- 9:48this quote that you'll remember this. I wish
- 9:51I had the clip but Putin was being interviewed
- 9:53and he said I've been here a long
- 9:55time and I've seen Democratic and Republican
- 9:57presidents come and go and he said it seems
- 10:01like just when you start to feel like,
- 10:03oh, we're going to get a new president who's
- 10:05going to be able to talk to us and we're going
- 10:07to be able to do business and we're
- 10:09going to have some reason come in.
- 10:11That guys in suits come in and he's
- 10:15like, they wear different, same color suits as
- 10:17me, but different tie than me. Remember he said
- 10:20that? And he goes, and they come in and then
- 10:23they and then they have briefcases
- 10:25and they just tell the new president like. No,
- 10:28you're not allowed to make nice with Russia.
- 10:30And you have to suck up to Ukraine and
- 10:33you have to suck up to Israel. And this is how
- 10:35things are. And they read them in and then that's
- 10:39it. And he said, I've seen this happen over and
- 10:41over again. That's kind of what's going
- 10:45on here. I think, look, I think Donald Trump
- 10:47probably hates Zelensky and he's probably would
- 10:50love to cut the Ukrainians loose. I don't
- 10:53think anyone in Trump's position, Democrat or
- 10:55Republican, would not hate Zelensky.
- 10:58He's a pain in the ass. He's demanding. He's
- 11:01a pipsqueak. He doesn't hold the cards, as Trump
- 11:06likes to say. And yet he's making all these demands.
- 11:09And for what? What does the US get out of it?
- 11:12Just more trouble. It's like he's annoying. And
- 11:16so when you're in a situation where you're forced
- 11:19to deal with someone who you hate,
- 11:22you're going to be passive. Your only workaround
- 11:24is passive aggressiveness. I think that's what
- 11:26this is here. I would say that's the workaround.
- 11:30That's how it works. You've had that
- 11:34when you're in a situation where your boss or family member, your parents
- 11:39they're trying. You can't get out
- 11:42of it because they're holding the court
- 11:44the street. They're pulling the string somehow
- 11:45and you're like all right but I could be passive
- 11:48I could be slow on this. Defense is passive
- 11:50aggressiveness. I could be slow getting back to
- 11:52you. Yeah, did you see the interview between Trump
- 11:56and Zelensky? I'm sorry, between Trump and when
- 12:00they're asked, when Trump is asked about Zelensky,
- 12:01this took place, I think it was either last night
- 12:03or the night before last on Newsmax. I'm going
- 12:07to put it in. So I'm going to put this in the
- 12:09chat. Oh, great. Put it in the chat. Robby,
- 12:10please take care of that. And while you're doing
- 12:12that, we have a few comments. He trashes the
- 12:17hell out of Zelensky. He does? Oh, that's fantastic.
- 12:20Thanks for the dollar. He says he's going to
- 12:23see the Sex Pistols. I'm going to argue about
- 12:27this, okay? You're not going to see the Sex Pistols.
- 12:30The Sex Pistols is not the Sex Pistols without
- 12:33Johnny Rotten, okay? A.K.A. Johnny Lydon. But
- 12:36anyway, it's Steve Jones, Paul Cook, Glenn Matlock.
- 12:39Okay, the original members, except Glenn Matlock
- 12:41didn't tour with them. That was Sid Vicious,
- 12:43but he couldn't play. Glenn Matlock recorded
- 12:45the album. But Frank Carter, this is just like
- 12:48the Dead Kennedys. Dead Kennedys are touring
- 12:51without Jello Biafra. That's fucked up.
- 12:54It's like when The
- 12:56Doors put out a couple of albums after Jim Morrison
- 12:59died. What are you guys thinking? Or Mott the
- 13:02Hoople without Ian Hunter. What are you guys
- 13:04thinking? It's just Pink Floyd after
- 13:06Roger Waters left. What are you, nuts? Earth,
- 13:10Wind & Fire. What's his name? Maurice. What is
- 13:13his first name? I can't think of his name. The
- 13:15original lead singer. On the other hand, Pink
- 13:18Floyd carried on after Syd Barrett and things
- 13:21went well. But still. Okay,
- 13:24we have it here. Robby, can you go ahead and
- 13:27be so kind as to play this clip for us? And then
- 13:31we've got to move on to our other topics. Thank
- 13:38you, Robby. I don't hear it. No, I'm not a big
- 13:43fan of Zelensky. They've destroyed that country.
- 13:46Zelensky is not a good guy for us to deal with.
- 13:51Biden gave him hundreds of billions of dollars.
- 13:56Billions and billions of dollars. Have you lost
- 13:57faith in him? Well, I think if they're going
- 14:00to end up with a settlement of some kind, they're
- 14:02not going to do it with him. He doesn't want
- 14:03to settle. He says he wants to settle, but he
- 14:06doesn't. No, I'm not a big fan of Zelensky. They've
- 14:10destroyed that country. That country, look, it
- 14:14really began with Barack Hussein Obama when they
- 14:17made them give up Crimea. Crimea is the most
- 14:20valuable part by far of Ukraine. You know what
- 14:23I'm talking about. Four sides of ocean. Most
- 14:27beautiful piece of land. I'm a real estate developer.
- 14:29I know good land. Zelensky is not a good guy
- 14:33for us to deal with. Biden gave him hundreds
- 14:36of billions of dollars. Billions and billions
- 14:39of dollars. Well, I think if they're going to
- 14:43end up with a settlement of some kind, they're
- 14:45not going to do it. There's another part of that
- 14:48clip where Trump calls him like a clown or like
- 14:50a circus buck or something like that. Well
- 14:53he's literally a comedian. Literally
- 14:55not look. I'm a cartoonist. No shade
- 14:59on the comedians but it's still
- 15:02he is kind of a clown although so is
- 15:05Donald Trump which is funny to me right now
- 15:10he is trashing him out. Well comedians
- 15:13don't like each other. You ever notice that when
- 15:15they're on a panel together they're always
- 15:17trying to talk over each other. Yeah, yeah.
- 15:22I think, look, I guess from my point of view,
- 15:26Zelensky better be very careful in this situation.
- 15:29I think the Europeans in this are right. Tone
- 15:31it down, going after Trump. Yeah, without
- 15:36Trump, he's got nothing. Look,
- 15:38obviously it's so funny. Under normal
- 15:41circumstances, you would look at a clip like
- 15:43that and say, OK, the U.S. is done with Zelensky.
- 15:47Finished. And it's like at this point,
- 15:51Ukraine might be finished with the U.S. The
- 15:54only way around it would be for those for the powers that be in Ukraine to overthrow
- 15:58Zelensky and install someone new. Right. And
- 16:02you notice I don't say elect someone new because
- 16:04they don't have elections. Right. It's not they
- 16:05don't do that anymore. So but this is different.
- 16:09We know what happened with that fiasco
- 16:12in the Oval Office with Vance. And
- 16:15so obviously with Trump, this is probably just
- 16:18sort of shooting across Zelensky's bow,
- 16:21cut the shit, quit being
- 16:23who the fuck do you think you are? Yeah. It's
- 16:26interesting. We're going to watch it. We've got
- 16:28to keep going, though, because we have a lot
- 16:30more to do. But all right. I don't even know.
- 16:35Let's get the school shooting. I don't have a
- 16:37lot to say about it. Here we go again,
- 16:40basically. Bend, Oregon, I've been there.
- 16:43It's for whatever that's worth. A
- 16:4616-year-old high school kid went in with a
- 16:48long gun, killed at least three kids and a teacher
- 16:52so far. We hope that's it. And it's
- 16:57the usual hearts and prayers. People calling
- 17:01for gun control on the left, people on the right
- 17:05saying, hey, thank God for the good guy with
- 17:07the gun. It's boring. Not for
- 17:13the people whose community has been decimated,
- 17:16but it's the same old, same old. This is just
- 17:18another day in America. Yeah. This is the
- 17:21ritual that we engage in after a school shooting
- 17:25in order to make ourselves feel okay until it
- 17:27happens again. We will go through the same ritual
- 17:29to make ourselves feel okay. It's
- 17:32I lose my job so I'm going to get ice
- 17:35cream. Right, you're okay, this is a horrible
- 17:37day, here we go again, feel better. It's
- 17:40this ritual of sorts. It's ritualistic
- 17:46without doing anything if that makes sense. But
- 17:48it's almost like the ritual itself takes priority.
- 17:51I'm trying to think of a better example. It's
- 17:53me doing something. It's me spinning
- 17:56my wheels. It's okay, I'm going to work
- 17:58on this thing. And yet, whatever I'm doing, it's
- 18:02not necessarily working on this thing. It just
- 18:04gives me the feeling as if I'm working on this
- 18:07thing when really you're not really doing anything.
- 18:09You're standing still. It's that. Which is the
- 18:12point about it being boring. Yeah, I feel that
- 18:14way. When Obama would come out and sing
- 18:16Amazing Grace every time somebody get killed
- 18:18some kind of mass shooting or school shooting
- 18:20or something like that. And it's dude,
- 18:22you're president. Yes, if only there was a person,
- 18:26only person who had a job with incredible influence
- 18:29and power. Yeah, it feels like that. I get it,
- 18:34right? The president is not a king. He's not
- 18:36a dictator, but it feels that way. It's kind
- 18:39of you seem to be in a position of authority.
- 18:44I don't need you to sing Amazing Grace. Somebody
- 18:46else can save my soul. I need you to do things
- 18:49of law and justice and shit like that.
- 18:51Yeah, okay, so listen, I'm really glad
- 18:53we got this comment from One Hair Maven, who
- 18:56says, why doesn't anyone ever call for better
- 19:00mental health care in America. And
- 19:03that is an angle that you do hear from
- 19:06time to time. Obviously, most of these
- 19:08school shooters are mentally disturbed.
- 19:11It's not hard to imagine what was going through
- 19:13the mind of a 16-year-old kid who did this.
- 19:16If you've ever been 16, it's probably
- 19:18not hard to imagine. It isn't for me.
- 19:22I hated school. I wouldn't have. Look, I would
- 19:26have. It would have crossed my mind
- 19:29to blow up my own school. Not an elementary school.
- 19:33I hated it. Obviously,
- 19:36I'm sure that those thoughts cross the minds
- 19:39of hundreds of thousands of American
- 19:41school kids every single day. Wait, wait, just
- 19:44to be clear, we're saying the thoughts of taking
- 19:47a weapon, a gun, and going through and murdering
- 19:50teachers and children. Yeah, I don't buy that.
- 19:54I don't buy that premise. But just if you
- 19:56could push a button and just make your school
- 19:58disappear, right? I don't buy the premise. I
- 20:03don't think there's that much hatred in school
- 20:04like that. Maybe you had a better school experience
- 20:07than I did. I guarantee you I did. I guarantee
- 20:12you I did. I'm just pointing out this idea. It
- 20:14never occurred to me to say at no point through
- 20:19my entire time in school, and this includes being
- 20:22at odds with people in that school in not good
- 20:25ways, that I would have came to myself and thought,
- 20:28I'm going to take a gun. And I'm going to just
- 20:30murder people in school. That's mind blowing
- 20:32to me that you think that that's a normal thought.
- 20:35When Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold shot
- 20:39up Columbine, everyone thinks that's the
- 20:42first time that's happened. That's not true.
- 20:43But in the modern era, it's the one that we first
- 20:46started paying attention to. I remember just
- 20:48thinking, I'm surprised this doesn't happen
- 20:50more often. School. School is. There's so many indignities.
- 20:58There's bullying. There's bullying by
- 21:01the school itself. There's I don't know
- 21:04to what extent this stuff still goes on. But
- 21:07when I was a kid, there was corporal punishment
- 21:09in public schools. That's still true in a bunch
- 21:12of schools. There was also being
- 21:16picked last repeatedly for teams and everyone
- 21:20making fun of you. There's
- 21:23you run for school class president or whatever
- 21:26and you win but the school decides they don't
- 21:28want to let you have that office because
- 21:31this principal doesn't like you. There's
- 21:33just a lot of injustice and cruelty in school
- 21:38and it's not discouraged
- 21:41by the administration. Yeah but bullying is the
- 21:44only thing that I would understand if the person
- 21:48there's also a class hierarchy right? There's
- 21:51the jocks who are ruling over everyone
- 21:54else and there's different dynamics
- 21:57every school is unique and has its own dynamics
- 21:59but Heathers completely
- 22:02the movie 1988 plays off entirely off this dynamic
- 22:06the original ending has them blowing up the school
- 22:09and frying up marshmallows over the
- 22:12flames of the school and everyone laughing about
- 22:14it. It's obviously not the most deranged
- 22:17thought in the world. I'm not saying it's the
- 22:21most deranged thought in the world. There are
- 22:23all sorts of things that can be deranged. I'm
- 22:25not encouraging anyone to do this. I'm just making
- 22:28a point. I don't think that's the normal thought.
- 22:31Maybe it's a generational gap because you're
- 22:34a boomer. I don't know what the hell I am. Generation
- 22:37X or whatever the hell that is. That may be a
- 22:40generational gap. By the way, I don't mean boomers.
- 22:42The word is funny. It could be different because
- 22:46we didn't have corporal punishment in our schools.
- 22:49At the, let me see, I was in school, I graduated
- 22:55in 95. When did you graduate your high school?
- 22:5881. That's a bit of a gap. It's a gap for sure.
- 23:04I don't know if the gap makes a difference. Things
- 23:04changed a lot. And also it depends on the state
- 23:07you went in. It sometimes
- 23:11felt like living in a fascist state. But school
- 23:15is a fascist state. It's supposed to be. It's
- 23:18instruction. Meaning you are programming
- 23:21kids. It's a fascist state. But I don't see how
- 23:25adulthood is all that radically different. Well,
- 23:27we have more to cover, and I do want to keep
- 23:29this moving. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I literally thought
- 23:31we'd be able to dispose of this one pretty quickly.
- 23:33No, I just thought it was interesting, that thought,
- 23:36that this is a thought that you think a lot of
- 23:38people have. Skidso says, Ted, shouldn't get
- 23:39sympathy because they're not in their right mind?
- 23:42No.
- 23:47The kid's
- 23:49dead, unfortunately. So therefore, we don't have
- 23:51the ability to ask him what was going on, right?
- 23:55Yeah, they killed him. Yeah. Most of these school
- 24:00shooters, FUSO says, were on SSRI drugs, which
- 24:07some now call school shooter pills. That could
- 24:11be true. Causation does not make causation.
- 24:15But yeah, obviously, look,
- 24:18school shootings aside and even we need
- 24:22national health care including mental
- 24:25health care and vision and dental right?
- 24:28Nobody even talks about those as if they're
- 24:30separate or something. Well your eyes don't
- 24:37matter. It's ridiculous. Gum health is really
- 24:39important to your overall health. But anyway,
- 24:42the point is we need better. Even if it doesn't
- 24:45save a single kid from being shot by a school
- 24:48shooter in the future, we still deserve and need
- 24:50public mental health care in this country.
- 24:54And that should even if nothing else, this were
- 24:57to lead these kind of events were to lead to
- 25:00that someday. That would be a positive outcome to a negative thing. Let me
- 25:03ask you this. Do you think people have gotten
- 25:04weaker over time? No, that's a great question.
- 25:08Yes, I think it's definitively yes. Okay, I see
- 25:12well because I see some of the stuff that takes
- 25:15place in regards to kids and younger people today
- 25:17and everything is traumatic. Everything is trauma
- 25:20and I think some of the stuff that went on back
- 25:24in my life and it's dude that's not trauma
- 25:27that's just life and they get coddled by either
- 25:32parents, especially on the left and even on the
- 25:35right, right? They have their own pet ponies
- 25:37that they get coddled by. It just seems like
- 25:39the mental health thing is worse today because
- 25:43of, and I hate to say this, maybe I'm sounding
- 25:46old myself on this. It just seems like it's different.
- 25:50What people would tolerate in the past is not
- 25:52what people would tolerate now. And because there's
- 25:55a, let's say a movement to the left on many of
- 25:57these issues, then it becomes much more socially
- 26:00acceptable to be traumatized by stuff that in
- 26:04the past would just be considered living.
- 26:07I think it's a positive thing that we're now
- 26:09dealing. Maybe I'm biased about this
- 26:12because I've been diagnosed by my shrink as having
- 26:14PTSD but I think it's a positive thing that trauma
- 26:18is something that we're more aware of and
- 26:21that people know maybe are more likely
- 26:24to go and seek help for rather than turning it
- 26:27inward against themselves. But you may have
- 26:30a point. Nowadays Gen X is finally
- 26:34being noticed by Gen Z and it's
- 26:37who's this other generation no one ever talks
- 26:39about and and it's all over. There's all this
- 26:42internet stuff right now about what exactly
- 26:44is up with Gen X and how they'd have no time
- 26:47for anything and it's basically look yeah
- 26:50we don't really whinge because it's kind of
- 26:53that thing well we could complain but who
- 26:56would listen right? Nobody ever can listen to
- 26:59Gen X complaining so we learned that from a young
- 27:01age no one gives a what we think so we might
- 27:05as well just when we have to when something
- 27:06comes up we just have to deal with it and
- 27:09we soldier through. It's not fun
- 27:12it just is what it is and now I think with
- 27:15Gen Z where they're living their entire
- 27:17lives online and everything they're kind of
- 27:20Those guys are kind of cool. What's with
- 27:22that? We could maybe pick up a few hints from
- 27:24Gen X. So it's kind of funny. It's
- 27:26that sort of, are we weaker now?
- 27:29Maybe, but I'm not sure weaker is bad.
- 27:32But Math 536 brings up an excellent point. It
- 27:35says, Ted, the biggest difference for kids nowadays
- 27:37is cell phone and social media. Everyone has
- 27:39a camera, and once it's posted, it's on the internet
- 27:42forever. We're seeing that with the Cornell
- 27:45rape case right where it's all these texts
- 27:48are all screenshotted. Everyone's life is
- 27:51online. The alleged victims comments
- 27:55about herself oh I'm a and it's oh
- 27:58she's a. It's just there's no privacy
- 28:02. That is a way to be driven insane. True
- 28:06true. I accept that. I didn't grow
- 28:10up in a school where people can be chased
- 28:14online, meaning you leave school and then you
- 28:17have bullying online on top of being at school.
- 28:20Yeah, it can drive a person crazy. Or you do
- 28:22have an indiscretion and all of a sudden it's
- 28:26online forever. Right, it's basically we
- 28:29all live in a small town where everyone knows
- 28:31every stupid fucking thing you ever did. Yeah,
- 28:34and everybody has a comment. Everybody has words.
- 28:36Everybody has things. I don't know.
- 28:38That's a new... Okay, I accept that. That's
- 28:41a new norm. That's a huge change between, yeah,
- 28:44there's been changes between my high
- 28:48school experience and yours, and I think between
- 28:50yours and the kids today. That's the big difference.
- 28:55It's going to have to be some kind of new social
- 28:57norm that's developed for dealing with this shit,
- 29:00especially growing up with it. Yeah. Robby?
- 29:02Whenever, no, there's only really two absolutes
- 29:06ever taught my kids. And by absolutes, I mean
- 29:08just a corporate absolute. I didn't really go
- 29:12to high school, so I didn't have the experience
- 29:13that one of y'all had. I was just feral when
- 29:16I was growing up. But the first lesson that I
- 29:19taught my kids when they were around eight years
- 29:22old, I gave them a blank sheet of paper. I said,
- 29:25this is what you're owed by life. And my daughter
- 29:29was like, dad, there's nothing on it. That's
- 29:30correct. You're owed nothing. Whatever you put
- 29:35on this paper is what you earn. You earn it.
- 29:38You're owed nothing. I don't think that's true,
- 29:40by the way. Well, maybe, maybe not. Well, the
- 29:44reason why I don't think it's true. Okay, I'm
- 29:46sorry. Finish your thought. But I'm just saying,
- 29:48there's nothing special about you. You're
- 29:51not owed anything by society. Or even if you
- 29:55are owed something, you may or you may not get
- 29:57it, right? Sure. Don't get me wrong.
- 29:59I think there are times in education, things
- 30:01like that. But as far as you specifically being
- 30:04owed by virtue of being my son or being my daughter,
- 30:07this is what you're guaranteed by. To put a finer
- 30:09point on it, maybe it would be better to say
- 30:11what you can expect to receive. Yeah, that'd
- 30:15be fair enough. Remember, you don't have to do
- 30:17with limited vocabulary here. Then the other
- 30:20lesson I took them is I took them out to a clay
- 30:22pit with a watermelon and I shot it with an SKS
- 30:25rifle. I said, if you get a gun that's in the
- 30:29closet and you shoot somebody, this is what happens.
- 30:32Don't do it because there's no fixing this. And
- 30:35that lesson is burned in there. Those two lessons,
- 30:37I've stuck with them. And I'm thankful for that.
- 30:40Simple works. You don't need to scrap someone
- 30:43a bunch of pills just to drug somebody up and
- 30:46then tell them, oh, you're special. You poured
- 30:48a little thing. Somebody hurt your feelings.
- 30:50Here's a teddy bear with Jackson pot chocolate.
- 30:52Life doesn't work that way. Life is a costly
- 30:55kicking the balls every single day. Get used
- 30:57to it. Wear a cup. Yeah. All right. Anything
- 31:03to add to that before we move on? By the way,
- 31:05just a little bit of housekeeping. Guys, if you're
- 31:08just if you're just tuning in, we're only here
- 31:10until 10 o'clock today. We have another 28 minutes
- 31:14left in today's show. Normally we'd be here until
- 31:1711, but we'll be back to our regular schedule
- 31:19next week. But anyway. And also, please subscribe
- 31:24to the show. We appreciate and need your subscriptions
- 31:27and your Rumble Rants and your Super Chats. Shall
- 31:32we move on? Yeah, we can move on. I understand
- 31:35the point. I understand the point. The only reason
- 31:38I said initially disagree with it is because
- 31:39if you bring a kid into the world, they're required
- 31:42things just to exist. But we can move on. Okay.
- 31:47Requiring things but being owed something are
- 31:49two different things. I'm required to feed you,
- 31:52provide for you, clothe you. Those are things
- 31:54that you're entitled to by virtue of you being
- 31:57alive. Yeah. But you're not owed a car. You're
- 32:01not owed a six-figure salary. You're not owed
- 32:05a scholarship. You're not owed any of the benefits
- 32:09of this life. You're owed the necessities, but
- 32:13you're not owed the extras. That's fine. Yeah.
- 32:16And not everyone gets the necessities, obviously.
- 32:19OK, let's talk about Ilhan Omar. So
- 32:23we talked about her already. So to put a fine
- 32:25point on what's going on here. So basically
- 32:28her parents applied for her to come into the
- 32:32United States on her immigration application.
- 32:35Her birth date was listed as 1982. She was 17
- 32:39years old at the time. So because she was not
- 32:42yet an adult, you become an adult at 18 in the
- 32:44US. She would have been under her parents' application.
- 32:48She wouldn't have filled out anything herself.
- 32:51Had she been 18, she would have been required
- 32:53to fill out her own individual application as
- 32:56an adult. So apparently Wikipedia, of all things,
- 33:01which we know how incredibly reliable that is
- 33:03because anyone and everyone can go and edit it,
- 33:06stated that she was born actually in 1981. That
- 33:11apparently is the basis for the Department of
- 33:14Justice investigation. Wikipedia article. Wikipedia
- 33:18article. So there's a conflict between
- 33:22Ilhan Omar's birth date on Wikipedia and what she
- 33:26says her birth date is which is 1982. What's
- 33:29on Wikipedia shortly shortly after she be for
- 33:33whatever you want to this also probably doesn't
- 33:35mean anything but in May 2019 months after she
- 33:38entered Congress, Ilhan Omar approached the Minnesota
- 33:42Legislative Reference Library and asked to change
- 33:45her birth date from 1981 to 1982 because it had
- 33:48pulled the information from Wikipedia. That is
- 33:52apparently the smoking gun that the DOJ is pointing
- 33:55to. Now, here's where things get interesting.
- 33:59I've been thinking about this. Okay, so
- 34:04logically, it's probably she may not have a birth
- 34:09certificate that she can point to because she's
- 34:12from a war-torn country that was a failed state
- 34:15at the time right? That's why she her family was
- 34:17admitted as a refugee right? Somalia was
- 34:20a failed state. So when she was born, the country
- 34:24was falling apart. If the birth records ever
- 34:27existed, she may have been born at home, but
- 34:30even if she was born at hospital with official
- 34:32records, those records probably were destroyed
- 34:34during the war. So she probably doesn't have
- 34:37a birth certificate. She can't point to this
- 34:40document and say, otherwise, we have shades of
- 34:44Barack Obama's long-form birth certificate.
- 34:47Once again, this is birtherism. Right. This is
- 34:50Donald Trump kind of again doing birtherism.
- 34:54And in this case, she probably doesn't have a
- 34:57good way around it. This reminds me of when I
- 35:00was I worked in the admissions office at Columbia
- 35:02in the early 90s. And we had some transfer applicants
- 35:07who came from places where for various reasons
- 35:10they didn't have all their birth records. They
- 35:13didn't have their college transcripts.
- 35:16I remember we had an applicant who had attended
- 35:18college in China during the Cultural Revolution
- 35:20and all the transcripts were destroyed during
- 35:24the Cultural Revolution. And so we basically
- 35:27had to interview her and try to determine
- 35:30whether she was full of and had actually been
- 35:33to high school and maybe had a year or two
- 35:36of college in China. We wouldn't have. There's
- 35:39no grades. We don't know anything about
- 35:41and anyway so we had to basically take a flyer
- 35:45. We decided to let her in. We were
- 35:47it's not like I think it would have been a
- 35:49problem if we had thousands of applicants like
- 35:51that but because we're only a few we're
- 35:54give her a chance and if she up she'll just leave
- 35:57right? But and we told her
- 36:00that we're we don't know. We just don't know
- 36:02but we'll let. We're going to give you a chance
- 36:03here. And I think this kind of so this is there's
- 36:08this so there's that this angle I wanted to talk
- 36:11to you about and I also wanted to talk get your
- 36:13thoughts on. I realized this she's a wedge issue
- 36:17this is why the Republicans have picked her and
- 36:19are picking on her because they know that she's
- 36:22on the Squad. She's a socialist and she knows
- 36:25that the mainstream the DNC Democrats the Chuck
- 36:28Schumer's of the world the Nancy Pelosi's of
- 36:31the world don't care about her or like her and
- 36:34they want that people like her out of the party
- 36:37they don't and so it's Democrats have
- 36:41issued a few strongly worded complaints online
- 36:44about this but honestly this is a test for the
- 36:48Democratic warning emergency warning system. If
- 36:51I were in the Democratic leadership I'd say this
- 36:56is a test for us. We have to defend our sitting
- 36:59congressman. She's a fellow party member. She's
- 37:03a member of Congress. Who cares? We'll never
- 37:05fucking know what year she was born. But we should
- 37:09do no business. There will be no military spending.
- 37:11We will not raise the debt limit. We will not
- 37:15do shit. There will be no quorum in Congress.
- 37:18We will shut down the government. We back
- 37:21off, leave her the fuck alone. And the fact that
- 37:24they're not doing that plays right into the hands
- 37:26of the president. Yeah, yeah, agree.
- 37:29Aside from the racist element associated with
- 37:32going after a Muslim. Yeah, it's because the
- 37:38first, my first question was, okay, well, what
- 37:40about her birth certificate? And as you point
- 37:42out, she may not have one depending upon,
- 37:45based on what was taking place when she
- 37:47immigrated into the country, she immigrated from
- 37:50a war-torn country. And so then the question
- 37:52becomes, this is so, of all the things that a
- 37:59government can look for, this is what they do.
- 38:02You can lose your birth certificate under very,
- 38:04even stupider circumstances than that. My
- 38:07ex-wife, she was born in Taiwan. And in Taiwan,
- 38:12your birth certificate is not stored at a public records office as it is in the United
- 38:16States. It's stored by the hospital. Well, the
- 38:19hospital where she was born was closed. She had
- 38:24to have a relative go and basically find
- 38:27out if those archives still exist. And they do,
- 38:31but they're somewhere else. And they had to go
- 38:34find a copy of her birth certificate. But
- 38:36shit happens, right? But she's going to have,
- 38:39this is obviously going to go to court
- 38:41because it doesn't seem like they're going to
- 38:43let this go. And obviously what they're trying
- 38:46to do is denaturalize her so that she can be
- 38:48deported. Exactly. That's what they want. That's
- 38:51what they want. More facts don't seem to give
- 38:52a shit. No. They don't seem to care. No. Meaning
- 38:56they're not howling in the way that you would
- 38:58think they would be howling as one of their own
- 39:00is being picked apart. Because this is the test.
- 39:04Of course they're going to start with someone
- 39:06who they can otherize and who doesn't have a
- 39:10lot of protection, institutional protection from
- 39:12the system because the system doesn't care that
- 39:15much about her. Right. Yeah. Agreed. And the
- 39:18system being her political party. You would think
- 39:22that the party would care. And yet they don't.
- 39:25They complain more about John Bolton.
- 39:30The raid on John Bolton's house. Right. Right.
- 39:33Fuck John Bolton. Yeah. But every
- 39:37day on MSNBC, oh, my God, they raided John Bolton's
- 39:39house. Yeah, true. I guess my point is, yeah,
- 39:42they should be screaming to high heaven about
- 39:45this. This is fucking outrageous. This
- 39:47should be stop the presses. We're not doing
- 39:51anything until you drop this bone.
- 39:54Even if you personally think I hate Ilhan Omar
- 39:57and she's fucking up the Democratic Party, even
- 40:00if you privately believe all that, you've got
- 40:03to know, first they came for
- 40:05Ilhan Omar and I said nothing because she was
- 40:07a socialist and in the Squad. Then they this is a Martin Niemöller moment.
- 40:12Yeah you just can't let it pass. I have a question
- 40:15is she really a socialist? Well for example
- 40:17when is she ever? I think she's a corporate
- 40:20Democrat. There's nothing socialist
- 40:23about it. She's on the left
- 40:26she's on the left side the left part of what
- 40:28passes for the left and the Democratic. I'm sorry
- 40:31the Squad is not the Jamarl Thomas or Ted
- 40:35Rall version of socialism so y'all's point
- 40:39about the Trump going after. Yeah, she's red meat,
- 40:43and I think that she's probably done more damage
- 40:46to herself by betraying the people that she thought
- 40:48were going to fight for her, that she was going
- 40:50to fight for. And that's why they're just hanging
- 40:53out to dry. It's not because she's some persecuted
- 40:55minority. It's because she's an ineffectual member
- 40:59of Congress who lied to her constituents. Lying
- 41:02to your constituents is a standard thing
- 41:04that congressmen do. Yeah, but don't be surprised
- 41:06that no one's rallying behind you. Yeah, that's
- 41:10not why. But you have a political party and you
- 41:13would think for God's sake they would
- 41:14rally behind any other random corporate Democrat
- 41:16they're just not rallying around her. They see
- 41:19her as something meaning the members of
- 41:22the Squad regardless of whether you think they're
- 41:23ineffectual or not. It's secondary to the point
- 41:25that the party hates them. Yeah right that's
- 41:29the party doesn't like them and so the idea that
- 41:32they're going after Ilhan has more to do with
- 41:34the fact that they're going after a member of
- 41:36this kind of quote rebel band of quote the lefties
- 41:40in the way that they call them. That's exactly
- 41:42it. No, I think there's an otherization of somebody
- 41:44like Ilhan Omar or somebody like... What was
- 41:48the other guy? The black guy that lost his seat.
- 41:50He was very angry. Oh, was it Corey... I can't
- 41:55think of his... He ran, I think, recently. He
- 41:56has a bald head. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I reckon he
- 41:59was out of... He was accused of ringing the fire
- 42:01alarm? That guy? Yes, that guy. Corey, I think,
- 42:05something. He got into this big back and forth
- 42:07with and I'm saying he's angry not because he's
- 42:09black because he got into a fight with one
- 42:11of the guys that was on nearly in a fight
- 42:13with one of the guys yeah and it was his fault
- 42:15he ran up on. I think he ran up on Ted Cruz if
- 42:18I'm not mistaken. Yeah well I'm okay with that
- 42:22Ted Cruz is an but I don't want you being randomly
- 42:27pissed off. Yeah and he's also a. He let Trump
- 42:31accuse his father of killing JFK right. Right.
- 42:36Jamaal Bowman. Jamaal Bowman. That's it. That's
- 42:40it. Jamaal Bowman. He says, by the way, go ahead.
- 42:44I don't want to. Well, I'm just looking. He was
- 42:45taken out pretty quickly by Israel, spending
- 42:47a huge amount of money to take him out. And the
- 42:49other woman who was part of the Squad was also
- 42:51outspent ridiculously to be taken out. And Democrats
- 42:55stood by and didn't say a word about this taking
- 42:59place. Right. Despite the fact that they have
- 43:01this kind of complete alliance to Israel. I'm
- 43:03saying they're doing the same thing to Ilhan
- 43:04Omar. Something is happening to one of the people.
- 43:07They're being taken out based on, let's say,
- 43:09inordinate spending by one of their groups that
- 43:12they completely support. And they stand by and
- 43:15say nothing as a Republican. No, it's a bad look.
- 43:19Comment from Abdul about our previous comment,
- 43:21Abdu Kid. Good morning, guys. Thanks for the
- 43:24$5, by the way. I'm Gen X. We definitely had
- 43:26corporal punishment and school administrations
- 43:28and boards bullying kids. Small towns also have
- 43:31bullies from family dynasties to contend with.
- 43:33Big fish, small pond. Sorry, got to keep moving.
- 43:37More to talk about. Main topic. So ICE was chasing
- 43:43this dude in Houston. That's our main story today.
- 43:46You've probably seen the video. ICE claimed that
- 43:50he jumped in front of the car. I don't know
- 43:52what would they say that he weaponized his leg
- 43:54against the poor innocent SUV. But then a surveillance
- 43:59camera showed the truth which is he's hauling
- 44:02ass and the ICE guys run chase him
- 44:06down run up onto the sidewalk in order to hit
- 44:09him on purpose up his leg. The local police in
- 44:14Houston are furious. They're investigating
- 44:17ICE and they're thinking about charging them.
- 44:20Apparently ICE also destroyed evidence at the
- 44:22scene. They took off with the car without when
- 44:26the Houston PD said don't do that we need to
- 44:28look at that car. They refuse to cooperate so
- 44:31the local police are pissed. Anyway. Now, to add
- 44:36to the outlandishness of this, it turns out that
- 44:40the guy that ICE was actually chasing and claiming
- 44:43that this guy was died. Back in 2017, he was
- 44:47running away from, wait for it, ICE at the U
- 44:50.S.-Mexico border. He was climbing a cliff. They
- 44:53scared the shit out of him. He fell to his death.
- 44:57That guy was responsible, was wanted for a few
- 45:00various crimes that they now attributed to the
- 45:02guy whose leg they just fucked up. The guy whose
- 45:05leg they just fucked up actually has no criminal
- 45:07record. And just to be clear, an American. No,
- 45:10he's not. He's a Mexican national, also illegal,
- 45:14but he's a construction worker with no criminal
- 45:17record whatsoever. He's been here. It's
- 45:20what a shit show. Yeah, this is a shit show.
- 45:25Again, I don't... They should charge the ICE
- 45:31agents. Absolutely. They should charge them.
- 45:34Stop this thing of... Because look, anywhere
- 45:37you're looking at it, if they're... I think
- 45:38they're going to. Because the cops say, hey,
- 45:41don't take away the evidence. That's evidence.
- 45:44Don't mess with Texas, man. Don't do that. Yeah,
- 45:46we don't care. And it's, you're destroying
- 45:48evidence. Yeah, we don't care. You can't touch
- 45:51us. That untouchability needs to be touched.
- 45:54Yeah. Even if it's unsuccessful. Right if for
- 45:57no other reason as to send a message. We're
- 46:00going to inconvenience you. We're going to subpoena
- 46:02you. We're going to cause
- 46:04you problems or just you're going to follow the
- 46:07law right? They're because put us in context
- 46:12right? They're going after somebody because they're
- 46:13saying this person is breaking the law by being
- 46:15in the country illegally as they break the law
- 46:17repeatedly and they're not allowed to run people
- 46:21over on purpose and they lied about it as usual
- 46:24right? If there were if there hadn't
- 46:27been survey this is just like Rodney King. If
- 46:30there hadn't been surveillance footage nobody
- 46:32would have ever known the truth. It's
- 46:35just the same. I feel like when the government
- 46:38lies and then they sit and then they get caught
- 46:41out. Oh your narrative's been blown up by
- 46:43a surveillance camera. At that point it should
- 46:47just be they should just they should be
- 46:50all charged. The people they were after should
- 46:52be allowed to walk. This guy should be getting
- 46:55given. The guy they ran over should just be handed
- 46:58a U.S. passport. That movie
- 47:01The Terminal the Tom Hanks movie where it's based
- 47:04on a true story right? This guy was caught
- 47:07between two terminals at the airport
- 47:10in Paris because basically there was a civil
- 47:13conflict and his passport became invalid from
- 47:17his home country. And so he was trapped there.
- 47:19He was living in the airport for months,
- 47:22bathing out of the men's room. And ultimately,
- 47:26the president of France read about it. And he
- 47:30was this is ridiculous. And this is so
- 47:32French. He's take me to the airport. He
- 47:36goes to the airport. He apologizes to the guy.
- 47:39He says, I am so sorry. Welcome to France and
- 47:42hands him a French passport. You are now a French
- 47:46citizen. That's so cool. Isn't that cool? Very
- 47:49cool. That's how this should be handled. We're
- 47:52sorry we ran you down. You were living in the
- 47:55shadows. We're sorry your leg's fucked up. We
- 47:58know you probably will. You're never going to
- 47:59run in the Olympics again. But the
- 48:04good news is you're now a U.S. citizen.
- 48:07Technically, he was here illegally. Yeah, he
- 48:10was here illegally. I hate to bring that up.
- 48:12No, it's true. It's true. They had the
- 48:14wrong guy. That's the law. Two wrongs do not
- 48:17make a right in this situation. You had the wrong
- 48:19guy. You wanted a dead guy. Also how did you
- 48:24not know he was dead when wait you killed him
- 48:27you killed. That's not in your records that
- 48:30you killed a guy who was wanted. He died. You
- 48:33didn't mark that check mark on the Excel
- 48:35spreadsheet. What I'm not saying two wrongs make
- 48:37a right. I'm saying he. See ICE is wild right because
- 48:43it's not a police action. They could have
- 48:45went to the guy's house gave him a thing to say
- 48:50basically, hey, come to so forth. They had no
- 48:51idea if the guy was going to run. He was living
- 48:53his life. He hadn't committed any crimes. He
- 48:56was effectively living in the United States.
- 48:58And he wasn't the guy they were looking for,
- 49:00right? And he wasn't the guy that they were looking
- 49:02for. He literally could have knocked on his door
- 49:04and been like, hey, we're looking for Hernandez.
- 49:06I'm Rodriguez, man. I don't know any Hernandez.
- 49:09Oh, really? Do you have some ID? Yeah, hold on.
- 49:12Here's some ID. Oh, okay. Oh, you're here illegally.
- 49:15We'll be back for you later. I just don't accept
- 49:20that they need to behave this way. Especially
- 49:23running people over. Meaning whether the guy
- 49:25was here illegally or not is secondary to the
- 49:27point. It's an administrative crime, right? It's
- 49:29not even a misdemeanor. It's literally got the
- 49:33seriousness of a parking ticket. A speeding ticket
- 49:37is more serious than that. Imagine the mentality
- 49:40of people behind a car and running a man over.
- 49:45I imagine them going, yee-haw! They
- 49:48think they're in Dukes of Hazzard, right? That's
- 49:51what it seems like. It seems like these guys
- 49:53are yahoos. It doesn't seem... The
- 49:56cops at least have a certain formality about
- 49:58them. If you're watching some of
- 50:00the... Oh, I'm sure the cops hate ICE. Because
- 50:02it's the cops are the cops are
- 50:04actual professionals. They're trained.
- 50:07They try to be, but most of them... Yeah,
- 50:10a lot of them are assholes, but yeah. Yeah. But
- 50:12they at least give the veneer of professionality
- 50:14up until the point where they're beating the
- 50:15shit out of somebody. Well, they're wearing uniforms
- 50:16and shit. Yeah. Yeah. And it would be frowned
- 50:20upon for a cop to run a man over with their car.
- 50:23I'm not saying they wouldn't do it. It's gauche.
- 50:26Yeah. It's frowned upon. They don't like doing
- 50:28it, right? And so the town cops looking at this
- 50:30are these people are out of control.
- 50:33They could have hit other people who were not
- 50:36here illegally. So meaning the town cops are
- 50:40this is fucking outrageous. You just ran
- 50:42a man down with a car and you lied about it.
- 50:44And ICE agents are, we don't care. Yeah.
- 50:47That doesn't seem professional to me, right?
- 50:49That seems like something else. That's it. Two
- 50:52more stories to cover. I think we're going to
- 50:54get through them. Okay. Okay. I got to talk about
- 50:58this Dublin thing. So there's a conference called
- 51:02the Special Envoys and Coordinators Combating
- 51:05Anti-Semitism Conference that happens annually.
- 51:09This year, the conference was supposed to be
- 51:11in Dublin. It's S-E-C-C-A, SECA for short.
- 51:15Anyway, the Irish are very, very pro-Palestine.
- 51:21They're very anti-Israel. They always have been,
- 51:24and that's especially true now. They're at the
- 51:26forefront of this. So the hotel took it upon
- 51:28themselves to, when they found out who was staying
- 51:31this block of 70 rooms, they're yeah, we're
- 51:34canceling your reservations. The hotel's not
- 51:37commenting to the press. I'm of two minds. I
- 51:41looked into this to find out if SECA had any
- 51:43ties to the state of Israel or to Zionism. They
- 51:47don't. This is literally just a conference on
- 51:51anti-Semitism. It is not conflating anti
- 51:55-Semitism with anti-Zionism. It's a legit organization.
- 52:00So this appears to be a high profile example
- 52:03of a legitimately anti, an anti-anti
- 52:07-Semitism thing that's being affected by
- 52:13an anti by anti by anti-anti-Zionism. It's
- 52:17interesting. Yeah look the problem is that
- 52:23Israel runs around screaming to high heaven that
- 52:26they are the home of Jews. That's their thing
- 52:30right? We're the home of Jews. If you're a Jewish
- 52:32person you can come here. You can steal somebody
- 52:33else's land. It will have a plot for you. You have
- 52:36the right to return, but the guys we kick out
- 52:38don't. Right. They don't have rights to their
- 52:41own land. They have the misfortune of being born
- 52:43here as opposed to us being in Poland or in the
- 52:46United States or somewhere else in Europe. But
- 52:49then they also make the argument that anything
- 52:51that is said about Zionism or the state of Israel
- 52:54is blood libel. Have you ever heard them make
- 52:57this argument? It's oh, that's blood libel
- 52:58that you're saying. Every time. Every time. Literally.
- 53:02Two days ago, Jamarl, I posted on X that Zionism
- 53:07is the belief that you're entitled to live on
- 53:10someone else's ancestral homeland. You saw that,
- 53:13right? As of this morning, there were over 68
- 53:16,000 views and over 1,000 responses to it, mostly,
- 53:23as you saw, from Zionist bots. And they said
- 53:31that. They said that I was guilty of blood libel.
- 53:35Blood libel, for the record, is not that. Blood
- 53:39libel is this medieval slur against Jews that
- 53:43they like to eat babies, literally. Well, not
- 53:47Jewish babies, but Christian babies. Okay, for
- 53:50the record, no, they didn't. And the point is
- 53:53that that was a slur. It was a notorious anti
- 53:57-Semitic slur. So they're every time you
- 53:59criticize Israel, it's that's a blood libel.
- 54:02No it's not unless unless we're accusing
- 54:04you of eating babies. No no it's not. You
- 54:08don't know what a blood libel is. You hear it
- 54:11all the time on Piers Morgan. Yeah it doesn't
- 54:16matter what it is that's blood libel. It's
- 54:18okay dude for one I don't know how much that's
- 54:21sticking. Now there's that and I ordered a medium
- 54:23coffee but I got a small blood libel. Yeah the
- 54:27problem obviously is you've accused everybody
- 54:31of anti-Semitism to such a degree that nobody
- 54:34fucking believes it. Right? If you continuously
- 54:37call everything anti-Semitism, meaning every
- 54:40criticism of Israel, by the way, criticisms that
- 54:42are true, hey, you're starving the population.
- 54:46Oh, that's anti-Semitic. That's blood libel.
- 54:49No, dude, you're really doing that. If that's
- 54:51anti-Semitic, then what you're literally saying
- 54:53is that starving people is Jewish. And lo, it's
- 54:57really not. Which is in and of itself anti-Semitic.
- 55:00Even those, walking through with
- 55:02IDF military uniforms in the statehouse, and
- 55:06you're okay, dude, where are your priorities?
- 55:08The U.S. or Israel? That's blood libel because
- 55:10you're saying that I have foreign allegiance.
- 55:12Yeah, don't. Asshole, you're walking around in
- 55:14Israeli uniform. Don't wear a uniform for Croatia,
- 55:19right? Any other country. Just don't. Yeah.
- 55:22Right. I guess my point is, criticisms,
- 55:25legit, honest-to-God criticisms, have gotten
- 55:28to the point where they don't want to accept
- 55:31so they consider it to be anti-Semitic or bloodline.
- 55:33Okay, well, you lose credibility. And that's
- 55:35going to affect other groups that may actually
- 55:37care about anti-Semitism in real terms. This
- 55:42is infinitely obvious to have happen. And
- 55:46I don't have a mixed mind of it. This is
- 55:48a direct result of Israel and the way that they
- 55:50behave. Well, I feel like it's an injustice,
- 55:52but it's also kind of fair. It's kind
- 55:55of if an anti it's only
- 55:58fair that in a way an anti-Semitism conference
- 56:01gets caught in the crossfire. Maybe they need
- 56:03to issue a statement and say listen we don't
- 56:06believe that anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism
- 56:08and then maybe they can get their hotel rooms
- 56:10back. Yeah that's my proposal. Some delineation
- 56:14but it's easy to make. It's easy to look at these
- 56:17things and think these things are all equal. If
- 56:19I'm the hotel the hotel may not look into the
- 56:21group. They may just see anti-Semitic stuff and
- 56:23they say, oh, this is nonsense. Mark Carney,
- 56:28our last and definitely least story. So Alberta
- 56:32is basically starting a, they have a non-binding
- 56:37referendum that could theoretically start the
- 56:40process toward a future separation vote, kind
- 56:43of a Quebec Quad thing. Alberta has a lot
- 56:45of oil. It's basically the Texas of Canada.
- 56:5070% of Albertans do not want to leave Canada,
- 56:53so it's not likely to happen. But anyway, Mark
- 56:56Carney went to Alberta, and he's listen,
- 57:02guys, the U.S. wants to own us, and they're
- 57:05trying to break us, and that's what this is part
- 57:08of. I just wanted to take note of the fact that
- 57:12we now live in a world where Canada hates us
- 57:16and is scared of us. That's due to Donald Trump.
- 57:19That's fucking insane. Well, I don't know if
- 57:22that's for domestic consumption, though. It's
- 57:24kind of the United States saying the Russians
- 57:26are interfering in our elections. It
- 57:28may be true that the U.S. is perfectly fine
- 57:30with Canada breaking up because it's easier to
- 57:32manipulate independent states as opposed to this
- 57:34country that's kind of one large conglomerate
- 57:36country. So maybe, the European Union, for
- 57:42example, or for... Or Europe wants to do
- 57:44with Russia. They want to break Russia up into
- 57:46smaller locations so they can have more control
- 57:48over these various regions because each one will
- 57:50have their own individual thing. The Soviet
- 57:52Union, for example, in which case the U.S. immediately
- 57:54starts gobbling up all of these countries in
- 57:57order to put that much more pressure on Russia.
- 57:59It's possible, I suppose. But Mike Carney could
- 58:01also just be doing this for political consumption.
- 58:04Totally. But look, there would be no domestic
- 58:08political consumption for this to feed into,
- 58:13if not for Donald Trump picking a fight with
- 58:15our northern neighbor for no reason whatsoever.
- 58:18The reason was issues of power. He did
- 58:23it because he thought he could get away with
- 58:25it. I think it's that simple. Yeah. But also,
- 58:28what an asshole. Again, for the
- 58:32Canadians, I'm sorry. I apologize. Yeah, this
- 58:37is right. None of us, I've literally never heard
- 58:42anyone say, you know what, fuck those Canadians.
- 58:45Never. I've never heard anyone say that. Ever.
- 58:47I've never heard one person say a bad word about
- 58:50Canadians. No, we like you guys. It's our president
- 58:52who's deranged. Toronto is fantastic. Yeah, yeah.
- 58:56Toronto is fantastic. Okay well with that
- 58:59that our weekend begins. Robby's got the
- 59:03his Bible. I'm adding you in here Robby. Pitch
- 59:07your pimp your Bible thing and we're out of here.
- 59:09Yeah what's the topic for today? Oh Robby you're
- 59:14muted. Today it will be two o'clock
- 59:18mountain time. It will be about racism Zionism
- 59:21and the Bible and how God is not a respecter
- 59:24of your nation and he's not a respecter of people.
- 59:28It's a good title. Tune into that. See you guys
- 59:31Monday, 9am to 11am. I can thank my pastor for
- 59:35that. We got into it this morning. Always getting
- 59:40spicy. Bye, everyone. Have a good one, guys.
