Athlon Sports put out their All-B1G list and the first team has just one Husker / Shut Up Sipple (sponsored by Bagels & Joe)

Early Break – 93.7 The Ticket KNTK · Jun 30, 2026 · 17m

-Jacory Barney was picked as Athlon Sports’ first-team punt returner…and that’s it for first teamers. Justin Evans was the only Husker

on the 2 nd team, and the 3 rd team featured Nyziah Hunter and Andrew Marshall. 4 total players in the first 3 teams.

-It’s another point that this team has to overcome a perceived lack of talent and overachieve for what feels like the first time in years.
