- 1:37Speaker 1: Because I got it from Jill Zarin.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:40Speaker 1: She and her daughter Allie were in town in L.A.
- 1:43Speaker 1: at the end of last week, and I went to
- 1:46Speaker 1: her hotel room, and we set up the cameras, and
- 1:49Speaker 1: I had questions for both of them, and it was
- 1:52Speaker 1: really a great, juicy, fun interview. And now... Here for more,
- 1:56Speaker 1: and oh, and you can get Scary Island t-shirts, all

- 2:14Speaker 1: interview with Jill Zarin and her daughter, Allie Shapiro. Hello
- 2:18Speaker 1: and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 2:20Speaker 8: We are out in the field at the One Hotel
- 2:23Speaker 8: in the world-famous Sunset Boulevard with Jill Zarin, who would
- 2:29Speaker 8: have thought, and her gorgeous daughter, Allie Shapiro.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Welcome back to LA, girls, and welcome back to Juicy Scoop.
- 2:38Speaker 2: I am so excited to be here.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Allie, are you not happy?
- 2:42Speaker 2: I'm so excited. And by the way, can I just
- 2:44Speaker 2: make a side note that about two blocks down is
- 2:47Speaker 2: the office, the infamous office of Selling Sunset, the Oppenheimer Group.
- 2:53Speaker 6: Oh, interesting.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Just thought I'd give you a little fast fact for
- 2:55Speaker 2: those watching on Sunset Boulevard. I think Heather should walk
- 2:58Speaker 2: in and do a little strut. Oh, yeah. In her
- 3:00Speaker 2: head-to-toe Louis Vuitton. Oh, I think so.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Well, you know, who knows who's really working there? Nobody.
- 3:08Speaker 2: I've walked by there many times. And by the way,
- 3:10Speaker 2: the windows on the outside are blackout. Isn't that weird?
- 3:13Speaker 2: Is that weird?
- 3:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Yeah, because they probably don't want people like you putting
- 3:18Speaker 1: your nose up to the window.
- 3:19Speaker 2: No, no, but I don't think it's new. I don't
- 3:20Speaker 2: think it's new. I think they've always had blackout before
- 3:22Speaker 2: they had a show.
- 3:23Speaker 1: No, listen, they film it like they have their filming days.
- 3:26Speaker 1: That's why nobody has anything on their computer screen. Nobody's calling.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Do they film literally in there or do you think
- 3:33Speaker 2: they film in a stage set?
- 3:35Speaker 1: No, I think they film in there. You do? Yeah,
- 3:38Speaker 1: but that day, like, no one else is there.
- 3:39Speaker 3: They knock it out.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Oh, no, I'm sure.
- 3:41Speaker 1: They bring other outfits and all of that.
- 3:43Speaker 2: They are the most gorgeous, beautiful. Those people should be
- 3:46Speaker 2: on Beverly Hills, too. Like, they are so gorgeous.
- 3:48Speaker 1: They probably will be.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I'm sure Christine. Oh, my God. Can I please talk?
- 3:52Speaker 2: You know, she says she doesn't have a stylist. She
- 3:54Speaker 2: does it all herself.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I believe it.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I do, too. No, no, she's got this incredible style. Like,
- 3:59Speaker 2: I'm so envious of girls like that. I really am. Like,
- 4:01Speaker 2: I want to follow them for a day and see
- 4:03Speaker 2: how they put themselves together. You know what I mean?
- 4:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:06Speaker 3: She has a lot of money and she's super skinny.
- 4:08Speaker 2: You could have a lot of money and have a
- 4:09Speaker 2: nice style.
- 4:09Speaker 3: That's true. That's true.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Well, we're going to do lots of questions for you guys. Allie,
- 4:17Speaker 1: what a life you've led. At the age of 14,
- 4:20Speaker 1: you were thrust into the limelight.
- 4:24Speaker 2: For better and for worse.
- 4:27Speaker 1: And, I mean, one of the things I loved, and
- 4:31Speaker 1: I've talked about this day many times, is when we
- 4:34Speaker 1: were with Gloria.
- 4:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:35Speaker 1: And Gloria was very diet conscious and a little critical
- 4:39Speaker 1: of how Jill was looking in her tennis court, tennis,
- 4:43Speaker 1: tennis outfit. And we get in the car leaving the
- 4:46Speaker 1: country club. And, um, and you're like, look, Allie, what,
- 4:51Speaker 1: you know what? That's what my mother was like.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Aren't you lucky? I'm not like that.
- 4:54Speaker 1: And you're like, mom, you put me on a reality
- 4:57Speaker 1: show and sent me to a fat camp when I
- 4:59Speaker 1: was 14 years old.
- 4:59Speaker 2: That wasn't true. Allie kind of true. It wasn't a
- 5:03Speaker 2: fat camp. I went to one of those too. So
- 5:06Speaker 2: I also went to a fat camp that was not
- 5:07Speaker 2: on TV. Okay. That was true. That was true. In
- 5:10Speaker 2: California also. Camp California Fitness.
- 5:13Speaker 1: It's true.
- 5:13Speaker 2: It was a fitness camp.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Was it fun?
- 5:14Speaker 2: Was it fun? I'm sorry. Not a fat camp. A
- 5:16Speaker 2: fitness camp. It was a fitness camp to teach you
- 5:18Speaker 2: how to work out so you'd have a lifetime of
- 5:21Speaker 2: health and fitness. And guess what? You have a personal
- 5:23Speaker 2: trainer every day. Because I still have weight issues. Yes.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Not because of weight issues. You like the way I
- 5:28Speaker 2: thought you did because you feel good.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Right.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Well, I think you look great.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Thank you. You look beautiful.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Um.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Now, okay, we have some of the things.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Now, someone said, there has been a lot of talking
- 5:39Speaker 1: about housewives' offspring being the next generation of housewives.
- 5:44Speaker 3: As you see, Gia of.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Yes.
- 5:47Speaker 1: On Real Housewives of New Jersey.
- 5:48Speaker 2: She's like a sub-star, right? Yes.
- 5:50Speaker 3: I mean, she's 21 years old. She looks gorgeous. She
- 5:53Speaker 3: has her attitude with her nails and everything.
- 5:56Speaker 1: And so, what if there was like a next generation
- 6:00Speaker 1: or maybe they do.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Ooh!
- 6:02Speaker 5: Hello.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Hello.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I know, I thought the same thing. You guys should
- 6:06Speaker 2: do a week.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Together on a trip, girls trip, with the offspring of
- 6:12Speaker 1: the different franchises.
- 6:14Speaker 2: I thought that they should be the future housewives. They
- 6:17Speaker 2: could be future housewives. But a little stick your toe
- 6:21Speaker 2: in it kind of a thing. So it would be
- 6:23Speaker 2: like you, who else could we get? You and Avery
- 6:25Speaker 2: for sure. For sure.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Okay, then other franchises.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Luann's kids aren't going to do it. The OC kids
- 6:31Speaker 2: I feel like are big. Oh, see, Caroline Manzo's kids
- 6:35Speaker 2: might do it. The boys.
- 6:37Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, you get a couple boys.
- 6:38Speaker 1: It doesn't have to be, oh, you know what?
- 6:40Speaker 3: Or do we want all girls?
- 6:42Speaker 2: Vicky's kids are too old.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Honestly, it should be all girls. Okay, I'm changing my mind,
- 6:47Speaker 1: and it should be all girls.
- 6:48Speaker 2: The daughters and their moms, or just the kids?
- 6:50Speaker 1: Just the kids. do like, I don't know, a three-day,
- 6:54Speaker 1: maybe just like a three-day intensive weekend.
- 6:57Speaker 3: And of like in questions.
- 7:00Speaker 2: How about therapists?
- 7:01Speaker 1: Yes, therapists.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Oh, like a VH1 in one of those shows.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Yes, and like where they show clips.
- 7:07Speaker 2: And are like, how traumatic was this?
- 7:09Speaker 1: And we definitely have to have Gina Kino's daughter on there.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Kara, right?
- 7:15Speaker 2: She's been through a lot.
- 7:16Speaker 3: A couple of the OC people.
- 7:17Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Maybe it's not a great idea.
- 7:20Speaker 2: No, I think it would be great.
- 7:21Speaker 9: I think me and Avery have a lot of history. Yeah,
- 7:23Speaker 9: definitely Gigi and Bella.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Their careers started on Housewives. It's true.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Well, no offense, but Gigi and Bella are not going
- 7:30Speaker 3: to do it.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I know that. Sorry.
- 7:32Speaker 9: I'm too good for it, too. I think if it
- 7:35Speaker 9: was a few years ago, out of college, I would
- 7:37Speaker 9: be very against it. But now I feel like our
- 7:39Speaker 9: whole brand, everything I do now, stems from.
- 7:43Speaker 2: This world, so. Right, Ali respects the fact that it
- 7:45Speaker 2: came from this world. Yeah, and I think it's a
- 7:46Speaker 2: different world today with, like, social media and everything.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Some people do.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Who, some, who are the people?
- 7:51Speaker 5: Well, who?
- 7:52Speaker 2: Well, like you just said, like, the Gigi Hadid's, like,
- 7:54Speaker 2: wouldn't do it. You know what I mean?
- 7:56Speaker 1: Well, they wouldn't do it because if you're making, like, $ 50, 000
- 7:59Speaker 1: a day, maybe you don't want to, like, block off
- 8:01Speaker 1: a week. I get it.
- 8:03Speaker 3: To do something that's not paying that much. It's not, like,
- 8:05Speaker 3: a snobby thing.
- 8:06Speaker 1: It's just, like.
- 8:07Speaker 2: And I don't think they really were, like, house, even
- 8:09Speaker 2: though they got, they, I think their fame started out. Oh,
- 8:11Speaker 2: what about Delilah? They were on a lot.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Delilah.
- 8:14Speaker 2: They got their careers also started. I'm not saying they
- 8:16Speaker 2: wouldn't have had it by the way.
- 8:17Speaker 1: We'll see them probably a little bit on Beverly Hills.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Okay. Did you read today? Somebody sent me an alert. What?
- 8:26Speaker 2: Was it you? Who sent me a note? Oh, it's
- 8:28Speaker 2: probably Patty. Patty always sends it. What is it? No,
- 8:32Speaker 2: it's probably not news. That Kathy Hilton didn't invite Lisa
- 8:37Speaker 2: Rinna and Jane. What's her name? Erica Jane to her
- 8:41Speaker 2: birthday party. And, like, they'll never talk again or something
- 8:45Speaker 2: like that. Something came out, some story.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Well, I don't even know how much Kathy Hilton's going
- 8:50Speaker 1: to be featured in this season at all.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Something bad happened. I don't know what.
- 8:55Speaker 3: She's not in the first episode.
- 8:57Speaker 9: No?
- 8:58Speaker 1: Don't mean to brag, but I saw it.
- 8:59Speaker 2: By the way, thanks for sharing. When is it coming out,
- 9:05Speaker 2: the first episode? The 11th. Oh, you got it real early. Yeah.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I got it real early.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Is it good?
- 9:11Speaker 2: Oh, yes.
- 9:12Speaker 3: It's super juicy.
- 9:13Speaker 2: I remember when they were filming, if you go back
- 9:15Speaker 2: in your memory, because you have a much better one
- 9:17Speaker 2: than I do, she wouldn't sign in the beginning. Remember?
- 9:20Speaker 2: She wanted more money. Right. So that's why she's not
- 9:22Speaker 2: on in the beginning. Oh, good point.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I forgot about that. Do we agree?
- 9:27Speaker 3: Yeah, you're probably right.
- 9:28Speaker 2: So she comes on as soon as she signs. But
- 9:31Speaker 2: something happened, right?
- 9:32Speaker 4: Right.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I'm going to do a couple of what would Jill do.
- 9:35Speaker 1: What would Jill do if her friend overly facetuned all
- 9:39Speaker 1: of her pictures on Instagram?
- 9:41Speaker 2: Whose pictures?
- 9:42Speaker 5: Mine or hers?
- 9:42Speaker 1: Would you say anything or would.
- 9:44Speaker 3: You leave her own?
- 9:45Speaker 2: Would you say anything? The girl who posted it. Her pictures,
- 9:48Speaker 2: not my pictures.
- 9:48Speaker 5: You have a good friend who is popular on Instagram
- 9:54Speaker 5: that overly facetunes her photos.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Do you say anything?
- 9:58Speaker 2: Absolutely. And what?
- 10:00Speaker 1: What have you said to Patty?
- 10:02Speaker 2: No names. P.S. P.S. I told her that and she
- 10:08Speaker 2: shooed me. Like, you know, I don't talk about him.
- 10:11Speaker 2: And move me on. She denied it? She didn't deny it.
- 10:14Speaker 1: She said it. Remember, I brought it up.
- 10:15Speaker 2: She didn't deny it.
- 10:16Speaker 3: We went to her house.
- 10:17Speaker 2: She likes it, and she's all good with it.
- 10:18Speaker 5: Right.
- 10:19Speaker 3: We went to her house, and we took a photo,
- 10:21Speaker 3: and I'm like, oh, my God.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Are you going to?
- 10:23Speaker 3: And please don't vote.
- 10:25Speaker 1: She made Jill look like a completely different person.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Like, her whole smile changed. And I'm like, what are you?
- 10:32Speaker 3: I go, come on, Patty. What's the deal? And she goes.
- 10:35Speaker 2: She goes, I enjoy it. I like it. It's my thing.
- 10:38Speaker 3: She knows the world knows that she overreaches.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Can I show you one?
- 10:41Speaker 2: And it makes her joyful. So, whatever.
- 10:43Speaker 9: I will say, though, there's a 99% chance that mom
- 10:46Speaker 9: sent her that app to use.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Because mom loves those apps, too. I do. Not as bad,
- 10:51Speaker 2: but she loves them. But she looks great anyway.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I mean, she's really pretty. She's really pretty in person.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Great legs. Good body.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Great body.
- 10:59Speaker 3: But that app just, like, elevates it.
- 11:03Speaker 1: So, okay.
- 11:04Speaker 5: Um.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Is there something that Jill would have changed in her
- 11:08Speaker 1: approach to Allie's weight? Let's get back to that one.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Is there something Allie would have wished her mom had
- 11:14Speaker 1: changed or said differently?
- 11:15Speaker 3: I mean, you're fine today, but going back.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I think.
- 11:25Speaker 9: We never really had that much of a healthy lifestyle
- 11:28Speaker 9: in general. Like mom eats Diet Coke and ice cream
- 11:31Speaker 9: every day, including today.
- 11:33Speaker 3: I thought it was frozen yogurt.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Yep, frozen yogurt. Went to Kith today and had five
- 11:37Speaker 2: Diet Cokes.
- 11:39Speaker 9: So I think in general, if you want your child,
- 11:42Speaker 9: I'm an only child, so there's no other evidence of
- 11:43Speaker 9: anyone else. I think if you want your household to
- 11:46Speaker 9: be a certain way or a child, you have to
- 11:49Speaker 9: have your whole household be that way. We never were
- 11:50Speaker 9: that active or healthy.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Which is why the best thing I really ever did
- 11:54Speaker 2: was to send you to Martha's Vineyard because Allie was forced,
- 11:58Speaker 2: I don't want to say learned, forced, if she wanted
- 12:00Speaker 2: to survive, To drink all that green juice. Okay, but
- 12:03Speaker 2: that's not. And you know what? Allie eats healthy because
- 12:05Speaker 2: of that. But that's not realistic. Because I couldn't do it.
- 12:07Speaker 2: For once a year. I couldn't provide it.
- 12:08Speaker 9: But for once a year for me to go away
- 12:09Speaker 9: to a camp and come back 10 days later and
- 12:11Speaker 9: lost 20 pounds and then.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Gain a back.
- 12:12Speaker 5: No, no, no.
- 12:13Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. I'm saying like right now. That's
- 12:14Speaker 2: what happened.
- 12:15Speaker 1: No, no.
- 12:15Speaker 2: But if we went downstairs and there was a green
- 12:17Speaker 2: juice there, you would have one because you like it.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I would never eat that. Yeah, but you made me
- 12:21Speaker 2: go to a camp for them to teach me how
- 12:23Speaker 2: to do it.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Right.
- 12:23Speaker 2: So at least I did something right.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Okay.
- 12:25Speaker 7: Why?
- 12:26Speaker 2: I mean, if I can't give it to you, I
- 12:28Speaker 2: tried to provide it for you. Right. Okay.
- 12:32Speaker 4: I did.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Thank you. We all do the best we can, right, moms?
- 12:36Speaker 1: No, my biggest regret, I will say this, and I've
- 12:38Speaker 1: said it before on the show, my biggest regret as
- 12:41Speaker 1: a mother is that I didn't force my kids to
- 12:44Speaker 1: eat better. I went to this parenting class and they
- 12:48Speaker 1: were like, You know, it was this weird, like, hey,
- 12:50Speaker 1: pick your battles.
- 12:51Speaker 3: And, like, if your child, you know.
- 12:53Speaker 1: If your child doesn't like what you're serving dinner, have
- 12:55Speaker 1: a drawer of, like, healthy snacks or whatever.
- 12:58Speaker 3: And you say, okay, you can have that.
- 13:00Speaker 1: And so I kind of was like, yeah, I don't
- 13:02Speaker 1: want to. The minute my sons would, like, push back,
- 13:06Speaker 1: I was like. This could be the last day on earth,
- 13:08Speaker 1: and I don't want to spend it fighting over carrots.
- 13:10Speaker 1: You should fight over the carrots. You should do all
- 13:13Speaker 1: those things that people say to do, where you make
- 13:15Speaker 1: your own baby food, and you make them eat what
- 13:18Speaker 1: you're eating, because a baby has to try it like
- 13:21Speaker 1: five times, and then they get into it.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Well, there's that philosophy, but I'm going to give you
- 13:25Speaker 2: the other philosophy, which is, Allie was a very picky eater.
- 13:29Speaker 2: She was the kid who would only eat mac and
- 13:30Speaker 2: cheese and all this stuff when she was very, very young.
- 13:32Speaker 2: I thought she would never eat a vegetable, and you
- 13:34Speaker 2: know what? She grew up, and now... On her own,
- 13:37Speaker 2: I don't eat sushi. She eats sushi. She eats tomatoes. Over.
- 13:40Speaker 2: She started to pick things up as she got older.
- 13:43Speaker 2: She just, kids do.
- 13:44Speaker 1: I agree.
- 13:45Speaker 3: My kids.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Maybe they haven't gotten there yet.
- 13:47Speaker 3: My kids are like starting to try different things.
- 13:49Speaker 2: They're still young. Give me 10, give them 10 years.
- 13:51Speaker 3: But literally, that is my biggest regret as a parent.
- 13:54Speaker 2: So should you send them to the Martha's Vineyard Detox Center?
- 13:57Speaker 2: That's the question.
- 13:58Speaker 3: No, I would not send them to the camp.
- 14:01Speaker 1: I did send my son to two weeks Catalina camp
- 14:04Speaker 1: and he did end up liking it, but it wasn't
- 14:06Speaker 1: about food. They let him eat like burgers and stuff,
- 14:08Speaker 1: but he was horrified that he wouldn't get to take
- 14:10Speaker 1: his phone with him. And he was so mad. He goes,
- 14:13Speaker 1: I'm going to send you to mom camp where all
- 14:15Speaker 1: you do is drink.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Wine and chop on your phone.
- 14:17Speaker 1: And I'm like, everyone's like, can we go to the bread?
- 14:20Speaker 1: Can we go to the bread and mom camp? Like
- 14:22Speaker 1: he just thought it was such cruel, unusual punishment.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Well, on the East coast, all children between the ages
- 14:27Speaker 2: of eight, and 18 go to camp for eight weeks
- 14:30Speaker 2: with no phones so rich kids can't be every kid
- 14:33Speaker 2: not every kid no no a lot of kids there
- 14:35Speaker 2: there are a lot of kids.
- 14:36Speaker 9: Just more common than it is in the west coast
- 14:38Speaker 9: i know and and definitely definitely yeah the kids don't
- 14:41Speaker 9: usually go no.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I would yeah definitely and that's where you get laid
- 14:45Speaker 1: right the first.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Time that's where you learn how to make a bed
- 14:47Speaker 2: but allison or get in it ally didn't stay long
- 14:51Speaker 2: enough to learn how to make a bed You go to.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Camp and you learn how to make a bed?
- 14:56Speaker 2: Oh my God, they have inspection. And if you don't
- 14:58Speaker 2: pass inspection, you don't get to go to the state
- 15:00Speaker 2: camp and get ice cream.
- 15:01Speaker 1: And what is this, $ 5, 000 a week and your kid's
- 15:03Speaker 1: living on a cot? They have to.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Do the laundry, they have to make their own beds.
- 15:07Speaker 2: That should be the next Bravo series, actual camp. Hello,
- 15:09Speaker 2: I want to pitch it. Adults going back to camp.
- 15:11Speaker 2: That's my idea.
- 15:13Speaker 1: All right. What would Jill do if her friend was
- 15:18Speaker 1: dating or was engaged to a guy she thought was bad.
- 15:21Speaker 2: For her friend? probably keep my mouth shut.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Now the Jill now keeps her mouth shut or has
- 15:29Speaker 1: the Jill in the past not kept her mouth shut
- 15:31Speaker 1: and realized because of that experience it's better to keep
- 15:35Speaker 1: your mouth shut I don't.
- 15:36Speaker 9: Know Allison how have I been um would you tell
- 15:42Speaker 9: someone if you don't like them I feel like.
- 15:46Speaker 2: I don't know am I honest Or do I hold back?
- 15:49Speaker 2: It depends on the person.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I think it does.
- 15:51Speaker 3: If you're not that good of a friend, you know,
- 15:54Speaker 3: you just like, yeah.
- 15:55Speaker 1: But if it is, if it is a good friend,
- 15:57Speaker 1: like for me, let's say I'm part of Real Housewives
- 16:01Speaker 1: of New Jersey. Okay.
- 16:02Speaker 3: And I would just say.
- 16:04Speaker 1: To Teresa, I would be like, absolutely get married, do
- 16:09Speaker 1: all this stuff, but just be very careful with like
- 16:13Speaker 1: compiling up and making sure.
- 16:15Speaker 2: That you have an exit strategy in case you're in trouble.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Right.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Your businesses, your money, uh, a post-nup needs to happen,
- 16:21Speaker 1: a prenup and then a post-nup needs to happen. All
- 16:24Speaker 1: that kind of stuff because you have four daughters and
- 16:26Speaker 1: because you're a business woman yourself, not, I would say
- 16:29Speaker 1: the way to not.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Be negative towards him.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I would say that to like any of my friends, um,
- 16:35Speaker 1: Even if they were marrying the greatest guy on earth,
- 16:37Speaker 1: I'd be like, you're a 50-year-old woman.
- 16:40Speaker 3: You have your own money.
- 16:41Speaker 1: You have kids that are depending on inheritance and stuff.
- 16:45Speaker 5: Right.
- 16:45Speaker 1: So, you know.
- 16:46Speaker 2: You've got to protect your children.
- 16:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:47Speaker 3: I wouldn't make it about the guy.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I also think slow down. I mean, there's so many marriages.
- 16:51Speaker 2: You know, celebrities are the ones you hear about where
- 16:53Speaker 2: they rush to Vegas and they get married in three months,
- 16:56Speaker 2: two months, one month, and then they end in divorce.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Just at least date someone a year. Give yourself four.
- 17:01Speaker 2: I always say you have to have four seasons with
- 17:03Speaker 2: someone to really know. They are ins and outs before
- 17:06Speaker 2: you should jump in. You can get engaged, but just
- 17:08Speaker 2: don't get married until you're four seasons in.
- 17:10Speaker 9: I don't remember if you spoke about it or not,
- 17:12Speaker 9: but that woman that was on the Housewives of Orange
- 17:14Speaker 9: County that married Joe Biden's nephew.
- 17:17Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 17:18Speaker 2: And she was so happy and in love. And it
- 17:20Speaker 2: was amazing. And then a month later, they're divorced. What happened?
- 17:22Speaker 2: That was terrible.
- 17:23Speaker 3: What she has.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Said was, I think she said, yes, she rushed into
- 17:28Speaker 1: it and she didn't really know him.
- 17:30Speaker 3: And I don't think he really.
- 17:32Speaker 1: understood what it was going to be like to suddenly
- 17:34Speaker 1: be a father of three little kids.
- 17:36Speaker 2: And one of them is disabled.
- 17:37Speaker 3: One has special needs.
- 17:38Speaker 1: And just to have three little kids is a lot.
- 17:43Speaker 1: And so I think she just checked it off as like,
- 17:48Speaker 1: Just a random mistake.
- 17:49Speaker 2: I don't know how you can make a random mistake
- 17:51Speaker 2: like that, but okay.
- 17:52Speaker 1: I know. I mean, what are you going to do?
- 17:54Speaker 1: And now Jim Edmonds has announced that he is marrying.
- 17:58Speaker 1: She's either wife number four or five. I can't remember
- 18:00Speaker 1: if Megan was four or three. But anyway, this next wife,
- 18:05Speaker 1: she's like close to Megan's age because they were friends.
- 18:08Speaker 3: They had a threesome.
- 18:09Speaker 1: That's how they met. What?
- 18:10Speaker 6: Yes.
- 18:11Speaker 2: She did threesomes?
- 18:13Speaker 3: She did a threesome with Jim and this girl. And
- 18:15Speaker 3: then this girl.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Came back around or whatever, and now they're madly in love,
- 18:21Speaker 1: and they're getting married in Italy with all his kids
- 18:23Speaker 1: from his three different wives.
- 18:24Speaker 2: What I remember with her is that she sniffed out
- 18:27Speaker 2: the whole Brooke cancer story.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 18:31Speaker 5: Faking?
- 18:31Speaker 2: She sniffed that out, and I thought she was a
- 18:33Speaker 2: terrible person when I watched it. And, of course, in hindsight,
- 18:36Speaker 2: it was the best thing. That's someone who actually called it, right?
- 18:39Speaker 2: She did. She could have kept her mouth shut. But
- 18:41Speaker 2: she thought he was bad for Vicki and tried to get.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Him away from her. Do you know what time we
- 18:45Speaker 1: were hanging out at Shannon Bedore's house with Vicki and
- 18:49Speaker 1: Brooks and my husband Peter was there.
- 18:52Speaker 3: And this is before.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Anyone thought he had cancer and they were dating and
- 18:57Speaker 1: nobody disliked him.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Okay. This was like a long, long time ago. And
- 19:02Speaker 3: Peter asked him how old he is, and he tells
- 19:05Speaker 3: him how old he is, and Peter's like.
- 19:06Speaker 1: No way, you're so much older than that.
- 19:09Speaker 6: Really?
- 19:10Speaker 2: Peter?
- 19:10Speaker 5: Yes.
- 19:10Speaker 2: He's not an aggressive person at all.
- 19:12Speaker 3: No, he was, like, joking, but just really, he was, like,
- 19:15Speaker 3: giving him shit, but the guy.
- 19:17Speaker 2: How old did he say he is, 30?
- 19:18Speaker 1: No, he said he was, like, 49, but Peter just
- 19:21Speaker 1: thought he looked a lot older.
- 19:22Speaker 2: And was Peter right?
- 19:24Speaker 4: No.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Peter was wrong, but Peter was wrong.
- 19:26Speaker 2: I think he was right.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Brooks got out his.
- 19:28Speaker 2: His birth certificate and i was like oh my.
- 19:32Speaker 1: God like we're trying to be friendly with these people
- 19:35Speaker 1: like what.
- 19:36Speaker 9: Anyway so peter said something was off though maybe it
- 19:38Speaker 9: wasn't his age but something was off i guess.
- 19:40Speaker 1: No peter didn't think it was off peter's just can
- 19:43Speaker 1: be inappropriate.
- 19:43Speaker 2: There's a case where megan did and guess what no
- 19:46Speaker 2: good deed went unpunished she was the mean girl that
- 19:49Speaker 2: season but she ended up being right. Who would have thought?
- 19:53Speaker 1: Yes. Well, I'm obsessed with any story that's about lying
- 19:56Speaker 1: about illness.
- 19:57Speaker 6: Christmas shopping has already started in our house. My daughter
- 20:01Speaker 6: is so organised, already planning Christmas gifts from Macaulay. Hair
- 20:05Speaker 6: care for her aunt and a fab fragrance for her bestie.
- 20:07Speaker 6: But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I'm
- 20:10Speaker 6: an early bird, buying one present a week from now
- 20:12Speaker 6: till Christmas, which makes budgeting less stressful. I can buy
- 20:15Speaker 6: in-store or online from Macaulay.ie for home delivery or free
- 20:20Speaker 6: click and collect.
- 20:21Speaker 1: So easy.
- 20:22Speaker 6: Gifts they'll cherish at prices you'll love.
- 20:27Speaker 4: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 20:30Speaker 4: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 20:33Speaker 4: have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have found a
- 20:38Speaker 4: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 20:43Speaker 6: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 20:46Speaker 6: filed against me.
- 20:47Speaker 2: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 20:49Speaker 2: what would you do if it was given back?
- 20:51Speaker 4: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 20:54Speaker 4: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 20:57Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad.
- 20:58Speaker 4: I need a home dad.
- 20:59Speaker 1: What happens next?
- 21:00Speaker 2: When I came in, he started crying.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 21:06Speaker 4: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 21:09Speaker 4: happens next.
- 21:10Speaker 1: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 21:13Speaker 1: every day was.
- 21:13Speaker 3: You're worth the work.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 21:16Speaker 1: You can use your voice even if it shakes.
- 21:19Speaker 4: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 21:22Speaker 4: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 21:32Speaker 1: Okay what would you do if you're at a dinner
- 21:35Speaker 1: yes and you were talking to your friend you're being
- 21:38Speaker 1: aggressive not aggressive.
- 21:39Speaker 2: But you're being direct being myself you're being.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Direct and she got up and she didn't flip the
- 21:44Speaker 1: table but she pushed and smashed all the drinks onto.
- 21:48Speaker 5: You onto me well other people got wet well i
- 21:53Speaker 5: don't know if you deserved it but you were she
- 21:56Speaker 5: you were just fighting you were just fighting and she
- 21:58Speaker 5: smashed the drinks one spilling all over your boobs Would you?
- 22:04Speaker 2: I'd be in shock. I mean, I don't think I'd
- 22:06Speaker 2: get physical because I've never hit anyone. I've never touched
- 22:08Speaker 2: anyone in my life. Believe me, I've thought about it,
- 22:10Speaker 2: but it's never happened. I'm not physical. That's true.
- 22:13Speaker 1: In all of your years of being on Housewives, what's
- 22:15Speaker 1: the closest you've ever come?
- 22:17Speaker 2: Never.
- 22:18Speaker 4: Never.
- 22:19Speaker 2: What was your fight with Alex McCord? You were in
- 22:21Speaker 2: Brooklyn High School. That was a bit of a fight.
- 22:22Speaker 2: I just realized.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Have you ever? Have New York women never gotten physical?
- 22:26Speaker 1: You guys might be the only franchise that has never
- 22:28Speaker 1: gotten physical.
- 22:29Speaker 9: I feel like Dorinda might have thrown a glass or
- 22:31Speaker 9: something like that, but not really physical, yeah.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Congrats.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Classy ladies.
- 22:38Speaker 2: They've fallen on each other.
- 22:39Speaker 1: But I mean in an aggressive way. They certainly have
- 22:43Speaker 1: used their words, but that's it, you know?
- 22:46Speaker 2: That's true. We're classy. We're the classy group.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will
- 22:52Speaker 1: never hurt me. That's what they say in New York.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Have you had any recent run-ins with Ramona since she
- 23:02Speaker 1: ignored Gary? What's the latest?
- 23:04Speaker 2: Well, the latest from that day is we went to
- 23:07Speaker 2: a mutual birthday party in Miami. Yes. And I knew
- 23:10Speaker 2: she was going to be there, and it was either
- 23:11Speaker 2: going to be ice or ice cream. That's a good expression, right?
- 23:14Speaker 2: Either I was going to get ice or ice cream,
- 23:17Speaker 2: meaning she was going to be either cold or delicious, right? Yeah, okay.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Ice or ice cream?
- 23:22Speaker 4: Shucks.
- 23:23Speaker 2: I mean, let's get to it.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Okay, go.
- 23:26Speaker 2: So it was delicious. It was great. And we got
- 23:33Speaker 2: up and took a picture together and posted. And I
- 23:37Speaker 2: sat at the table. There's about six girls. And I said,
- 23:40Speaker 2: I'm sitting across from her. And I said, Ramona, I
- 23:42Speaker 2: have to tell you something. I don't know if you've
- 23:44Speaker 2: heard about this yet, but I was on Heather McDonald's show.
- 23:46Speaker 2: And I shared with her that you slammed the elevator
- 23:49Speaker 2: door on Gary and it wasn't very nice. And I
- 23:51Speaker 2: told her. And she's like, doesn't remember it at all.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Exactly the way you said it. And I told her
- 23:56Speaker 2: what happened. And I said, you really have to listen
- 23:57Speaker 2: to the episode because Heather was spot on that I'm
- 24:01Speaker 2: apologizing to her at the end. You're going to die laughing.
- 24:04Speaker 2: So I think she knew about it, but she said
- 24:05Speaker 2: she didn't. I think she had heard about it.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 24:09Speaker 2: Yeah. But she wasn't mad or anything.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I can't believe the only time I met her was
- 24:13Speaker 1: at your event in the Hamptons. And you're like, let's
- 24:18Speaker 1: get a photo with all the girls. And you had, like,
- 24:20Speaker 1: girls from the.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Canada.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Melbourne. And, yeah, you had all the housewives. And we
- 24:27Speaker 1: were standing around the pool and.
- 24:30Speaker 2: About 20 of us.
- 24:31Speaker 1: And you're like, and then, oh, and then you go,
- 24:33Speaker 1: get Heather MacDonald in here, too.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Because I said, she's an honorary housewife. With all the housewives.
- 24:37Speaker 1: And Ramona's like, who's Heather?
- 24:39Speaker 3: Who's Heather MacDonald?
- 24:40Speaker 2: Who's Heather MacDonald?
- 24:41Speaker 3: And I think she had heard my, like, heard about me, whatever.
- 24:45Speaker 1: And.
- 24:46Speaker 3: But, you know, I met her. And then I had
- 24:49Speaker 3: met her once before.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Of course, she doesn't remember. When she was with Mario
- 24:52Speaker 1: and I was doing that show in the Hamptons. And
- 24:54Speaker 1: we went on that. It was like the day after
- 24:58Speaker 1: Fourth of July. We went on a big yacht party.
- 25:01Speaker 1: And she and Mario had gotten back together. And we're
- 25:04Speaker 1: very romantic before the final divorce. And she was like,
- 25:08Speaker 1: I'll sell a lot of tickets to your show.
- 25:10Speaker 3: I'll get a lot of people to go. I have
- 25:12Speaker 3: a really popular Twitter. And I could actually put a
- 25:15Speaker 3: post out there about it.
- 25:16Speaker 1: And she was being really nice. But I was like, actually,
- 25:18Speaker 1: it's already sold out.
- 25:19Speaker 3: But that's very sweet of you to offer.
- 25:21Speaker 2: That was nice. Yeah. And no, no, we're good. In fact,
- 25:23Speaker 2: she texted me this week. And she wanted a new
- 25:26Speaker 2: rug for her room, bedroom in her apartment in my building,
- 25:30Speaker 2: in her building. And she likes to remind me it's
- 25:32Speaker 2: her building. And I said, absolutely. You know, she said
- 25:35Speaker 2: she'll post. That's nice. She commented on mom's Instagram saying,
- 25:38Speaker 2: welcome to my building of three years.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Wait, so Ramona had been in the building.
- 25:44Speaker 2: For three years? Yes. So mom moved into Ramona's building. Yeah,
- 25:47Speaker 2: but what Ramona doesn't know is that Gary was there first.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Gary was there before. And then Mario came.
- 25:53Speaker 3: And Gary and Ramona went on a date, right?
- 25:56Speaker 1: They did. You were Gary.
- 25:57Speaker 2: They did. My Gary took Ramona out on a blind date,
- 26:00Speaker 2: and then I guess they went on another date. Ramona
- 26:04Speaker 2: invited Gary to be her date at someone's bar mitzvah,
- 26:07Speaker 2: and he went. You know, it's free pigs in a blanket.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Gary doesn't miss a meal.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Did they ever make out or anything?
- 26:18Speaker 2: No, he swears nothing happened.
- 26:20Speaker 8: I swear.
- 26:20Speaker 2: And she also says nothing happened.
- 26:24Speaker 3: And so what did he say? It was just not
- 26:26Speaker 3: a love connection?
- 26:26Speaker 2: Just not a love connection. But as mom would say,
- 26:28Speaker 2: she could take him. Huh? What do you mean she
- 26:30Speaker 2: could take him? She can have him. She can have him.
- 26:34Speaker 2: But no, but you know, she said something very nice. No,
- 26:36Speaker 2: he said she said something very nice about me on
- 26:39Speaker 2: that date, which is that she really loved the relationship
- 26:44Speaker 2: that Bobby and I had. That she was envious of
- 26:46Speaker 2: that relationship. Because it was after she had left Mario.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Yes.
- 26:50Speaker 2: And, you know, after he did that really, really, really
- 26:53Speaker 2: shitty thing to her.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Right.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Called getting somebody else pregnant, that kind of thing.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Wait, but the girl didn't have the baby, right?
- 27:00Speaker 2: No, no, no. And who knows if that was even true.
- 27:03Speaker 2: But there was a girl. The whole thing was shitty.
- 27:05Speaker 2: She didn't deserve it.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Yes, yeah.
- 27:06Speaker 2: No matter how bad my relationship was with Ramona, never
- 27:10Speaker 2: deserved that. I would never wish that on anyone. No. No, but,
- 27:13Speaker 2: you know, they're in a good place now.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Remember the psychic from Morocco?
- 27:16Speaker 2: I think we talked about that last time. Oh, how
- 27:18Speaker 2: could I forget?
- 27:19Speaker 1: Did she tell you anything, God? The psychic?
- 27:23Speaker 2: No. Nothing I remember.
- 27:25Speaker 6: No.
- 27:27Speaker 2: I mean, it was all about her. I mean, when
- 27:28Speaker 2: she said that your husband's thinking of another woman, it
- 27:31Speaker 2: was like, are you kidding me? It is so wild
- 27:33Speaker 2: out of the 14 years. I feel like Morocco and
- 27:35Speaker 2: Scary Island still go down as the best. Most memorable.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Most memorable trips, memorable episodes. Things that people talk about.
- 27:42Speaker 1: In all houses of history.
- 27:42Speaker 3: I know, because Luann being like, you came down here.
- 27:45Speaker 2: In her mother's shoes. Even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes, darling.
- 27:50Speaker 3: Yeah, she was like, you're a Louis Vuitton.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes, darling. Oh, my God.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Oh, you went to Luann's cabaret.
- 27:58Speaker 2: I did.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Did you enjoy it? It's beautiful.
- 28:01Speaker 3: You all looked really cute.
- 28:02Speaker 2: I always enjoy Luann's cabaret.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:05Speaker 2: And not only was I there, I was there and
- 28:07Speaker 2: Teresa was there that night. And I had brought Phaedra
- 28:10Speaker 2: with me because we had just filmed for the Ultimate
- 28:12Speaker 2: Girls trip some stuff. And it was phenomenal. The fans love, love,
- 28:17Speaker 2: love Luann. And Luann loves her fans.
- 28:19Speaker 9: And Gary hit it off with Teresa's fiance.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Yes, Louie.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Louie.
- 28:26Speaker 2: I have to tell you, I had a great first
- 28:27Speaker 2: impression of Louie.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what I said?
- 28:30Speaker 2: I did.
- 28:31Speaker 1: The thing is, on the show, and I said this
- 28:33Speaker 1: on my podcast recently, I said, you know, we only
- 28:38Speaker 1: saw him being very sweet to her, having fun with
- 28:42Speaker 1: the guys, showing up. And yeah, there were moments when
- 28:46Speaker 1: he had to defend himself. And I never think, and
- 28:49Speaker 1: we never saw Kim get heated.
- 28:50Speaker 3: About defending himself.
- 28:52Speaker 1: We saw her get heated, which we've known has been
- 28:54Speaker 1: a personality trait of hers for years. So I'm like,
- 28:57Speaker 1: it's a little bit of a bummer because there probably
- 29:00Speaker 1: was other footage maybe where he was like being kind
- 29:04Speaker 1: of more, a little more gregarious or delightful. Well, they
- 29:05Speaker 1: got him at the end.
- 29:06Speaker 2: They did when he said, let's go in the last episode.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm saying that we didn't get to see
- 29:10Speaker 1: that much of, Like, his personality.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Like, they spend so much on the.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Other guys and how funny they are and how they
- 29:17Speaker 1: get along. Like, they cut it in a way to
- 29:21Speaker 1: keep us guessing about him, which I can see why.
- 29:24Speaker 3: Because there's still a mystery.
- 29:25Speaker 1: But I'm sure he is very nice.
- 29:27Speaker 2: To me now. I'm going to tell you something. I
- 29:29Speaker 2: really had a good time that night. He's very smart.
- 29:33Speaker 2: He's extremely successful. He's very generous. He loves her. They're
- 29:37Speaker 2: holding hands. You know, they're engaged now. Like, they've been...
- 29:40Speaker 2: together over the year and you know and that that
- 29:42Speaker 2: the pheromones disappear a little bit you know even if
- 29:44Speaker 2: you're together they're still holding hands and lovey-dovey it's beautiful
- 29:48Speaker 2: and i don't blame her for being in that love
- 29:50Speaker 2: bubble i felt part of her bubble and if somebody
- 29:52Speaker 2: came in my bubble i'd be pissed too i'll tell
- 29:54Speaker 2: you i would are you in a love bubble a
- 29:57Speaker 2: what yes Yes, I am.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Beautiful.
- 30:01Speaker 4: I am.
- 30:03Speaker 2: As much as I hate him every day.
- 30:05Speaker 1: What would Jill Zara do if she found out her
- 30:08Speaker 1: fellow castmate was a cult leader who enticed members of
- 30:12Speaker 1: her church to remortgage their houses to contribute to the cause?
- 30:16Speaker 2: She would join it. That was on another show.
- 30:18Speaker 1: That was Real Housewives of Salt Lake.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Mom loves cults. You love a good cult. Well, I
- 30:23Speaker 2: don't want to be part of one, but I am
- 30:24Speaker 2: obsessed with them.
- 30:25Speaker 1: There you go. Have you ever had a friend that
- 30:27Speaker 1: you felt was getting into something that wasn't right?
- 30:30Speaker 2: I had a friend who was in one. Which one?
- 30:34Speaker 2: The famous one in California.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Scientology?
- 30:37Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 30:38Speaker 4: Oh, wait.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Didn't I meet this woman?
- 30:39Speaker 2: It was not named names. No names.
- 30:41Speaker 3: I can't remember her name anyway.
- 30:43Speaker 2: But she left. But I'll be honest with you. I never,
- 30:47Speaker 2: ever asked her to leave. Not for me to ask.
- 30:49Speaker 2: I never thought that she... I didn't think it affected
- 30:51Speaker 2: her in a negative way as far as my interaction
- 30:53Speaker 2: with her. that I was obsessed with it. I always
- 30:56Speaker 2: wanted information about it. I was curious about it. We
- 30:58Speaker 2: got Dianetics. We got the books. We got the DVDs.
- 31:02Speaker 2: So she sent it to me. I never watched anything.
- 31:04Speaker 2: But I was obsessed with questions. I was just so
- 31:06Speaker 2: curious about the whole thing. But she ended up leaving.
- 31:09Speaker 2: She went all the way through the program, spent millions
- 31:12Speaker 2: of dollars, and she left ultimately and found something else.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Well, yeah, because when you get to the ultimate thing,
- 31:18Speaker 1: you're supposed to like.
- 31:19Speaker 2: I think she was disappointed.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Yeah, you're supposed to go on a spaceship and meet
- 31:22Speaker 1: these people. Really? Yeah, and then the spaceship never comes,
- 31:26Speaker 1: and then they go, well, you just need to redo
- 31:28Speaker 1: these courses, and then you'll get to the.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Yeah, well, it didn't work out so well.
- 31:31Speaker 3: That's what I've heard.
- 31:32Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 31:32Speaker 2: But she doesn't have any hostility there. There's no dead bodies,
- 31:36Speaker 2: so to speak.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Allie, you know that there was a lot of talk
- 31:40Speaker 1: about you being de moi.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Can you talk on that, please?
- 31:46Speaker 2: I love Dumas. Big fan. Big fan.
- 31:49Speaker 9: I think I liked it more when it was mostly
- 31:51Speaker 9: focused on influencers, more relatable people.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Now it's kind of like everyone, every A-list celebrity is
- 31:56Speaker 2: on there. Is it like Chris Hilton? I hate to
- 32:00Speaker 2: confirm that I am not Dumas. So don't confirm it.
- 32:04Speaker 2: Just don't confirm it. Deny it, but don't confirm it.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Well, she just denied it. She just said she's not Dumas.
- 32:09Speaker 2: I think everyone knows that I'm not Dumas. No one
- 32:12Speaker 2: actually thinks I'm Dumas. Except these two.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Girls in the middle of the storyline. Do you know
- 32:15Speaker 3: who Dumas is?
- 32:16Speaker 2: I don't, but I've spoken to Dumas a lot. We
- 32:18Speaker 2: have DM'd frequently. Oh.
- 32:22Speaker 9: But I don't know who they are. I feel like
- 32:24Speaker 9: it's two girls maybe. And they're based in the West
- 32:27Speaker 9: Coast is what I've heard. But I've not asked them
- 32:29Speaker 9: who they are.
- 32:29Speaker 2: I'm having a deja vu of that show. Bridgerton. Yeah.
- 32:36Speaker 6: Right?
- 32:37Speaker 2: Kind of like Lady Bridgerton. Oh, okay. No, no, not...
- 32:40Speaker 2: Lady Bridgerton is the person that does the.
- 32:42Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a gossip play.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Yeah, but her name isn't Lady Bridgerton. No, what was
- 32:46Speaker 2: the name of the character?
- 32:47Speaker 3: Who cares?
- 32:47Speaker 1: Listen, I will say I.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I DM'd with Dumas a little bit just because there
- 32:54Speaker 1: would be a couple things that was written about me
- 32:56Speaker 1: and I was like, oh my God, I'm dying. I'm
- 32:57Speaker 1: so flattered. And then she started a podcast and I
- 33:00Speaker 1: was a guest on it. I'd listened to the podcast
- 33:03Speaker 1: prior and she does this voice thing so that you
- 33:06Speaker 1: can't hear, you can't detect her voice.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Almost like you.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Were like a mafia or whatever.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Witness protection.
- 33:13Speaker 5: Right.
- 33:14Speaker 1: And so I, listening to the voice before I spoke
- 33:16Speaker 1: to her in person, not in person, but on a
- 33:19Speaker 1: Zoom audio, I thought, Oh, I wonder if she's actually
- 33:23Speaker 1: a guy. Yeah.
- 33:25Speaker 3: But then when I did the interview.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Maybe it's Perez Hilton again. No.
- 33:30Speaker 1: When I did the interview, it was just a normal
- 33:33Speaker 1: sounding 30-something girl in my opinion.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Oh, so you did hear her voice.
- 33:37Speaker 1: I heard her voice regular because then I think after
- 33:39Speaker 1: they record it, then they put that voice thing on
- 33:42Speaker 1: her voice. To me, she just sounds like any white
- 33:48Speaker 1: 30-year-old girl.
- 33:49Speaker 2: If I had to guess.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Yeah. Not, no, not.
- 33:52Speaker 2: No accent.
- 33:53Speaker 3: I mean, not New Yorkie or anything.
- 33:54Speaker 1: No, just kind of like normal, like hip voice.
- 33:58Speaker 3: But anyway.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Yeah, big fan. Sound like Angie Wong. Yeah, not me.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Jill, what would you have done at the Seder dinner
- 34:06Speaker 1: on Real Housewives of New York with Ramona and Ebony?
- 34:08Speaker 3: Do you remember it?
- 34:09Speaker 2: Not really. I just remember them peeing. I just remember
- 34:12Speaker 2: Sonia peeing outside in the driveway.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 34:15Speaker 2: That was bad. Right.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Have you gone to Sonia's comedy show?
- 34:20Speaker 2: Not yet, but I'd like to. I reached out to her.
- 34:22Speaker 2: I wished her congratulations. And what did she say?
- 34:24Speaker 1: I'm really happy for her.
- 34:25Speaker 2: She said thank you, and she's going to be back
- 34:26Speaker 2: in New York next week, and I have it on
- 34:28Speaker 2: my calendar to call her. I actually wrote it down
- 34:29Speaker 2: to call her when she's back. I'd like to see her.
- 34:32Speaker 2: I haven't seen her in a long time.
- 34:34Speaker 3: Jill, are you watching OC?
- 34:36Speaker 1: Of course. What would you do about Noella? What do
- 34:39Speaker 1: you think her deal is? Allie, you can chime in, too.
- 34:42Speaker 2: She doesn't belong on that show. She doesn't fit in.
- 34:45Speaker 2: I think she's too quirky. Yeah. I mean, I just
- 34:49Speaker 2: think the whole, I think the whole idea of Orange
- 34:51Speaker 2: County is this kind of white vanilla, you know, lady,
- 34:55Speaker 2: housewife with, you know, 2.2 kids and whatever. I mean,
- 34:59Speaker 2: that's what I kind of fantasize about it. That's how
- 35:01Speaker 2: it started out with Vicky and whatever.
- 35:03Speaker 1: With Behind the Gates.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Yeah, the whole thing. And I'd like to keep it there.
- 35:06Speaker 2: I mean, you can make another show.
- 35:07Speaker 5: Sure. Sure.
- 35:08Speaker 2: But I think that she just has an alternative lifestyle.
- 35:10Speaker 2: I think the guy she's bringing to the table absolutely
- 35:12Speaker 2: does not fit in with Heather Dubrow's husband, Dr. Dubrow.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Oh, you mean the new guy she's dating?
- 35:17Speaker 2: Yeah, with the tattoos from head to toe. I just
- 35:20Speaker 2: don't think that's the style of the show. And I
- 35:22Speaker 2: think she's isolated on an island. Nobody likes her. I
- 35:24Speaker 2: did meet Bronwyn and her new girlfriend, Vicka Trillian.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Oh, talk about that. Love a late-in-life lesbian story.
- 35:30Speaker 2: I never met Bronwyn at any point, like before. I
- 35:33Speaker 2: never met her.
- 35:34Speaker 3: I met her very briefly at BravoCon.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Did you like her? Yeah, I mean, the husband was
- 35:39Speaker 1: really happy. I mean, they love.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Being famous.
- 35:44Speaker 1: They just loved people seeing them. It was like outside
- 35:48Speaker 1: of the building where there was like your stuff and
- 35:50Speaker 1: like the museum.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Yep, yep, yep, the main building.
- 35:52Speaker 1: So people, not the one where the panels were, the
- 35:55Speaker 1: other stuff.
- 35:55Speaker 5: Oh.
- 35:56Speaker 3: And they were just.
- 35:57Speaker 1: Like, and they were sweet to me, but I mean,
- 36:00Speaker 1: they just, yeah, they thoroughly loved it.
- 36:02Speaker 2: They love being famous. They seem really, really happy together.
- 36:05Speaker 9: Uh, Vicatrillion, I don't know her real name, Victoria, I guess.
- 36:08Speaker 9: Vicatrillion is her Instagram name.
- 36:09Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 36:10Speaker 4: Okay.
- 36:10Speaker 9: She's a model.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Um, but she was great. They seem in love, happy,
- 36:13Speaker 2: like super genuine. Like I saw it firsthand. That's the
- 36:16Speaker 2: weird thing. She's like six children. I know. But she
- 36:18Speaker 2: spent most of her time in New York and Miami.
- 36:21Speaker 2: So who's raising her three and four year olds?
- 36:22Speaker 1: So what I've read is, is, in the interview she's given,
- 36:26Speaker 1: they do the nesting thing.
- 36:28Speaker 3: So they have one house in Orange County.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Okay, so she lives in a venue.
- 36:31Speaker 3: So he's there with the kids for like 10 or
- 36:33Speaker 3: 12 days.
- 36:34Speaker 6: Wow.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Taking them to school and stuff. While she lives a
- 36:37Speaker 1: single lesbian life.
- 36:39Speaker 2: In New York.
- 36:40Speaker 1: A childless lesbian life for 10 or 12 days. And
- 36:43Speaker 1: then she goes there and he goes somewhere.
- 36:45Speaker 2: And his mommy, he goes away. Yeah. Well, I think
- 36:47Speaker 2: her mom was very... hippie-ish. I guess she was raised
- 36:51Speaker 2: that way, too.
- 36:53Speaker 1: That was one of her storylines of how hard it
- 36:56Speaker 1: was that her mom had her very young. First, the
- 36:59Speaker 1: mom was in a band and would bring her mom
- 37:01Speaker 1: to the troubadour and put her on the corner of
- 37:05Speaker 1: the stage at 8 and she'd be there until 2
- 37:07Speaker 1: in the morning or whatever and then go to school
- 37:10Speaker 1: the next day. Then the mom was like, you know what?
- 37:13Speaker 3: I'm going to go to medical school. Which is really unbelievable.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Then the mom went to medical school and And again,
- 37:18Speaker 1: she felt sort of abandoned.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Yeah, because that's not like a chapter. That's like years. Yeah.
- 37:25Speaker 1: But then the mom met a much younger man and
- 37:29Speaker 1: had two kids that are like, I don't know, 18
- 37:32Speaker 1: and 22 or something. Wow.
- 37:33Speaker 3: But they're still together.
- 37:35Speaker 1: She and the younger man are still together.
- 37:37Speaker 4: Right.
- 37:37Speaker 2: Not with her father.
- 37:38Speaker 4: Right.
- 37:39Speaker 5: Right.
- 37:39Speaker 1: And so then, but it is kind of interesting to
- 37:41Speaker 1: see like Bronwyn's life. A major change, and then, like,
- 37:46Speaker 1: because everything she said is, like, everyone should be authentic,
- 37:49Speaker 1: and everyone should do what they want to do and
- 37:51Speaker 1: live their own life. And it's, like, fine, but you
- 37:55Speaker 1: do have, like.
- 37:56Speaker 2: You brought it to the world.
- 37:57Speaker 8: I mean.
- 37:58Speaker 2: I mean, it's only been six months they've been together, but,
- 38:00Speaker 2: I mean, they seem really happy.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Well, why did she ever, she met her in New York.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Why did she come, why did she have to come
- 38:06Speaker 1: to New York?
- 38:07Speaker 3: To begin with.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Like, if you were going to live separately from your husband,
- 38:10Speaker 1: why wouldn't, and you're going to do the nesting thing,
- 38:13Speaker 1: why wouldn't you get, like, a small condo and that
- 38:15Speaker 1: you'd switch off?
- 38:16Speaker 2: Or even San Francisco's a lot closer. Yeah, she made
- 38:18Speaker 2: it seem like.
- 38:18Speaker 3: Well, why would you have to be, no, but, yeah, exactly.
- 38:21Speaker 1: If you wanted to, like, have a whole new, like,
- 38:22Speaker 1: gay vibe or something.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I mean.
- 38:24Speaker 9: Yeah, she said she was very, she felt very, like,
- 38:27Speaker 9: separated from everyone else in Orange County from that lifestyle.
- 38:29Speaker 2: Right, because it's a very white vanilla. Yeah.
- 38:31Speaker 3: But it's not.
- 38:32Speaker 1: That's just such bullshit.
- 38:33Speaker 2: Well, that's what she was saying.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Well, like, those aren't the only people you have to
- 38:35Speaker 1: hang out with that have cast me. It's like, there's
- 38:38Speaker 1: definitely gay people in Orange County, and there's definitely different people.
- 38:42Speaker 2: Well, I didn't say there aren't.
- 38:44Speaker 1: I know, but, like, I hate that when people act like,
- 38:46Speaker 1: because that's, not you, but I'm saying, I hate when that's,
- 38:49Speaker 1: I hate when that's, like, when someone's saying that, like,
- 38:52Speaker 1: nobody what do you want people knocking on your door every.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Day right hi hi we were.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Going to buy you lunch but then we heard you
- 38:59Speaker 1: were a lesbian so.
- 39:00Speaker 2: Now we're not like it's like bullshit.
- 39:02Speaker 9: New york is very different from orange county in general
- 39:04Speaker 9: she was looking for a change but yes well.
- 39:06Speaker 2: There's clubs and there's access yes.
- 39:09Speaker 1: In new york you're going out every night and orange
- 39:11Speaker 1: county is suburb does.
- 39:12Speaker 2: Orange county have a gay club life at all like
- 39:15Speaker 2: to meet people yeah laguna's gay Oh, I didn't know that.
- 39:18Speaker 1: Laguna's pretty gay.
- 39:19Speaker 2: I'm a Long Island Jewish girl. I have no idea.
- 39:21Speaker 1: What's in Laguna. Yeah, but, you know, whatever.
- 39:26Speaker 3: So she went to New York, and they met in
- 39:28Speaker 3: New York, huh?
- 39:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:30Speaker 1: And then do you know that she has 15 orgasms
- 39:32Speaker 1: a day each lasting 10 minutes?
- 39:34Speaker 2: I'm jealous. That's a very busy day.
- 39:36Speaker 3: It's a very non-productive day.
- 39:39Speaker 2: How long do they last? Nothing lasts 15 minutes.
- 39:42Speaker 1: No, 15 orgasms each lasting 10 minutes.
- 39:45Speaker 2: I've never heard of an orgasm lasting 10 minutes. There's
- 39:47Speaker 2: no way it lasts 10 minutes.
- 39:49Speaker 3: It's 150 minutes.
- 39:50Speaker 2: 60 seconds.
- 39:52Speaker 1: Divided by 60 minutes.
- 39:56Speaker 3: So what is that? Three hours of boning.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 39:59Speaker 1: It's a good thing your kids aren't there.
- 40:02Speaker 2: Okay, anyway.
- 40:04Speaker 1: What would Jill do if Kanye was her son-in-law?
- 40:08Speaker 2: Oh, I'd be so happy.
- 40:10Speaker 6: Really?
- 40:11Speaker 2: In what sense? Well, I'd love to give advice.
- 40:14Speaker 1: All right.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Well, what's your advice?
- 40:15Speaker 2: He needs a lot of advice. I definitely want to
- 40:17Speaker 2: be his therapist. Dr. Jill. First of all, he's so
- 40:20Speaker 2: freaking creative. You know, there's so many great things about Kanye.
- 40:23Speaker 2: He is. He's like a genius.
- 40:24Speaker 3: You wouldn't care if you walked into Ali's.
- 40:26Speaker 1: House and she had a daughter and the daughter could
- 40:30Speaker 1: only wear black or cream clothes and the whole house
- 40:34Speaker 1: was cream. She couldn't have any Christmas decor... Well, she's Jewish, but.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Well, I don't know what's fact from fiction from that
- 40:41Speaker 2: whole story. I really don't. I don't know what happened there.
- 40:43Speaker 3: Well, the fact is the house was all cream and candy.
- 40:44Speaker 2: But then she liked it.
- 40:47Speaker 1: I know, but you wouldn't feel like she influenced.
- 40:51Speaker 3: He.
- 40:51Speaker 9: Was very controlling and had OCD in general, so I
- 40:53Speaker 9: think he wanted things a certain way.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know the problems in the marriage. I
- 40:58Speaker 2: saw a clip... When you say it like that as
- 40:59Speaker 2: a son-in-law, I didn't think of it that deeply as
- 41:02Speaker 2: being like the father of my grandchildren. Well, I mean,
- 41:05Speaker 2: I think... It's like, you know.
- 41:07Speaker 1: I think Chris is really good about staying out of
- 41:10Speaker 1: the daughter's relationships until they need her.
- 41:13Speaker 3: I think she always supports it.
- 41:14Speaker 1: There's not enough time.
- 41:15Speaker 2: She's got so many.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 41:16Speaker 3: But I think she always supports it.
- 41:18Speaker 1: She always is like, good, have a baby, get married,
- 41:21Speaker 1: we love you, come to the Christmas party.
- 41:23Speaker 2: Yes, very inclusive. Da-da-da-da-da.
- 41:24Speaker 1: So then when it does fall apart, it's not like
- 41:28Speaker 1: she's ever going to have that I told you so moment.
- 41:31Speaker 2: So.
- 41:33Speaker 3: So I guess you wouldn't be either.
- 41:34Speaker 2: Listen, how could she be a judge either? You know
- 41:36Speaker 2: what I mean? She's had her own issues and her
- 41:37Speaker 2: own marriages in life, so she's not judgy. Yeah. She's not.
- 41:42Speaker 3: True that.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Right?
- 41:44Speaker 3: Okay.
- 41:45Speaker 2: Not judgy.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Let's see. Oh, Jill, have you gotten an invite to
- 41:51Speaker 1: do BravoCon 2 yet?
- 41:53Speaker 2: Nope. Has anyone? Yeah, Heather, have you gotten an invite
- 41:56Speaker 2: for BravoCon 2? Yeah, she's my plus one. What are
- 41:58Speaker 2: you talking about?
- 41:59Speaker 1: No, but I'm going.
- 41:59Speaker 2: I'm going. You're always my plus one.
- 42:01Speaker 3: No, I'm going.
- 42:02Speaker 2: Are you not invited?
- 42:03Speaker 1: No, I didn't get invited. I don't plan on. I
- 42:05Speaker 1: hope I get invited, but I'm going no matter what.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Good. Oh, so not as my plus one. You're going
- 42:10Speaker 2: on your own.
- 42:11Speaker 3: No, I'm going as your plus one.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Just checking.
- 42:13Speaker 2: Are you going as a plus one?
- 42:15Speaker 3: I'm going to help you sell your stuff.
- 42:17Speaker 2: You better whore me out. Hello, Beverly Hills Housewives. Here
- 42:21Speaker 2: we are. JillDarren.com. I have much better swag this time.
- 42:24Speaker 2: Last time I had nothing to sell. I was just
- 42:25Speaker 2: like promoting my rocks.
- 42:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Had a couple of books. Was really just selling myself.
- 42:29Speaker 1: I honestly, during, I mean, COVID was so much up
- 42:32Speaker 1: and down. There was times where I was like, you
- 42:34Speaker 1: know what? They're never going to have it again. They're
- 42:36Speaker 1: going to use this COVID as an excuse. But now
- 42:39Speaker 1: I feel that like, now that COVID is really done,
- 42:43Speaker 1: like pretty, who knows?
- 42:44Speaker 3: But, Now I think it's going to be really fun.
- 42:47Speaker 2: It's going to be at the Javits Center. I want
- 42:49Speaker 2: to show the one that's a Bravo one.
- 42:52Speaker 1: Yeah, show me your product. It's fine.
- 42:54Speaker 3: Ally's like, no, no.
- 42:55Speaker 1: I'm like, no, Ally, come on.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Pour it out.
- 42:58Speaker 2: So unwrap it, bitch. You'll love it. By the way,
- 43:03Speaker 2: I took your advice. I just want you to know,
- 43:05Speaker 2: and I'm going to show you pictures tonight at dinner. Well,
- 43:07Speaker 2: we talked about our candles last time I was here.
- 43:09Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 43:11Speaker 2: And you gave me some constructive advice.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Nice.
- 43:15Speaker 2: This one is, oh, that's Future Reality Star, but we
- 43:17Speaker 2: have one that says Final Rose. What does it say?
- 43:20Speaker 2: Final Rose Material. Isn't that great? Final Rose Material.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:23Speaker 2: To give your girlfriend or to give your mom Final
- 43:26Speaker 2: Rose Material. I love it. And then we have merch.
- 43:31Speaker 1: You know what's so cute with these is that you could,
- 43:34Speaker 1: for like a bride, to give to her bridesmaid, she
- 43:38Speaker 1: could like Future Reality Star to one.
- 43:40Speaker 2: Mm-hmm. you know, final rose material, such a great bridesmaid
- 43:44Speaker 2: to get the bride.
- 43:46Speaker 1: I love it.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Allie, wait, show them the other ones. The crystal one.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Don't be bad. Anyway, so we're doing a whole bunch
- 43:52Speaker 2: of neutrals.
- 43:52Speaker 3: I have a question why she gets this.
- 43:54Speaker 1: What would you do if your ex pooed in the
- 43:58Speaker 1: bed a la Amber Turd?
- 44:00Speaker 2: Okay, so do you see that color is more home-friendly?
- 44:05Speaker 2: She has to bring it out.
- 44:07Speaker 6: Look.
- 44:07Speaker 2: Look. Don't worry about it, sweetheart. It's more home-friendly. And
- 44:10Speaker 2: we're making it smaller, the words.
- 44:12Speaker 1: I like it.
- 44:12Speaker 2: They're going to be smaller.
- 44:13Speaker 1: And this smells really good. It has crystals in here.
- 44:15Speaker 2: And it has crystals.
- 44:16Speaker 1: When it melts down, you have the crystals. Yes. Oh,
- 44:20Speaker 1: this is really good. Argarwood. It smells really good. It
- 44:23Speaker 1: smells very like meditation.
- 44:24Speaker 2: But the color, you see the color is gray, and
- 44:26Speaker 2: it goes in a gray house.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Wait, Jill, I asked you a question. What's the question?
- 44:30Speaker 3: What would you do?
- 44:31Speaker 1: You heard about Amber Turd leaving a turd in Johnny
- 44:34Speaker 1: Depp's bed.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Oh my God, so disgusting. I didn't hear that.
- 44:37Speaker 1: Yeah, that's part of their trial. What would you do
- 44:41Speaker 1: if your significant other shit the bed?
- 44:46Speaker 2: I'm very spiteful. I mean, I would take that shit
- 44:49Speaker 2: and I would like do something with it worse.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Jill, you don't remember that this has already happened to you?
- 44:55Speaker 2: Okay, it was It was Ginger. It wasn't Gary. Dog
- 45:01Speaker 2: poop is different than human poop. Dog poop is like
- 45:03Speaker 2: this and, you know, yeah. But you know what? Ginger
- 45:05Speaker 2: couldn't get off the bed and she shit on Heather's head.
- 45:09Speaker 2: It's not Ginger's fault. R.I.P.
- 45:11Speaker 6: Ginger.
- 45:12Speaker 2: We weren't Fisher Island and Carol Chris house.
- 45:15Speaker 1: R.I.P. We were sharing a bed with Ginger.
- 45:18Speaker 2: And Ginger, the bed was like up to here and
- 45:20Speaker 2: she couldn't get off. So at least she didn't jump
- 45:23Speaker 2: suicide like this one. Bossy's so stupid, she just suicides
- 45:27Speaker 2: off the bed and breaks a leg. I'm Patty Stanger's bed.
- 45:31Speaker 2: I'm Patty Stanger's bed.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 45:33Speaker 2: So the answer, what would I do? I would be
- 45:35Speaker 2: very spiteful, and I would probably take it and put
- 45:37Speaker 2: it in someplace really bad. Like, I'd probably put it
- 45:40Speaker 2: in his wallet.
- 45:41Speaker 1: Oh, like, or, yeah, like, leave it for a week later, fine.
- 45:43Speaker 1: I mean, I would really.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Hide it well for him. I mean, it would be everywhere,
- 45:47Speaker 2: and he would never forget it.
- 45:48Speaker 3: Oh, this is a good one.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Jill, what would you do if Allie started dating a
- 45:52Speaker 1: man who was 20 years her senior?
- 45:55Speaker 2: My son-in-law? My future son-in-law? Is his name Elon Musk?
- 46:01Speaker 3: No, just any guy.
- 46:03Speaker 2: Well, it can't be just any guy.
- 46:04Speaker 1: Okay, how old are you, Allie?
- 46:06Speaker 2: 29.
- 46:07Speaker 3: Have you ever dated someone in their late 40s?
- 46:09Speaker 7: No.
- 46:10Speaker 2: I tried to get her someone even 10 years older.
- 46:12Speaker 2: I think Allison needs, or I'm not going to say now,
- 46:16Speaker 2: but there were times when I thought... I'm currently dating
- 46:17Speaker 2: someone that's younger than me, so... Right.
- 46:19Speaker 3: How much younger?
- 46:20Speaker 4: 27.
- 46:20Speaker 2: That doesn't count.
- 46:21Speaker 3: It doesn't count.
- 46:22Speaker 2: It's still younger. It is younger. No, that's the same.
- 46:24Speaker 2: At this age, it feels younger. But, you know, Gary's
- 46:26Speaker 2: two years younger than me.
- 46:27Speaker 1: That's nothing.
- 46:28Speaker 2: Would you say 20 years older now? If you told
- 46:32Speaker 2: me the wrong person, at 33, I was with somebody
- 46:34Speaker 2: who was 50. I liked an older guy.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Right.
- 46:37Speaker 2: So, you know, if you asked me if Allie fell
- 46:39Speaker 2: in love with someone who would give her children and
- 46:42Speaker 2: was 20 years older and she loved him and he
- 46:44Speaker 2: loved and adored her, it would not bother me. Because,
- 46:47Speaker 2: you know, life is fun. I agree.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Do you have any advice for Lala at this time
- 46:51Speaker 1: in her life? That was another question.
- 46:54Speaker 2: Lala needs to get healthy. I haven't spoken to her.
- 46:57Speaker 2: I should have called her this trip. She needs to eat.
- 47:00Speaker 2: She needs to give herself nourishment because she's taking care
- 47:02Speaker 2: of her baby. Because she admittedly stopped eating because she's,
- 47:06Speaker 2: you know, going through all this, you know.
- 47:08Speaker 1: I haven't seen her in a couple weeks, but yeah,
- 47:11Speaker 1: she did get very thin. Yeah, she was definitely, I
- 47:14Speaker 1: ate with her.
- 47:14Speaker 5: We ate.
- 47:14Speaker 2: Good, good. That's all, because she said I couldn't eat.
- 47:17Speaker 2: She was in shock. I got that.
- 47:18Speaker 1: Yes, but I think she'll get it. She's doing better now.
- 47:21Speaker 2: I adore her, and she needs to forestall, if that's
- 47:25Speaker 2: a word, men right now. She needs to take care
- 47:28Speaker 2: of her shit. and see where it falls, whatever that
- 47:31Speaker 2: may be. Um, I wish I could be a mediator
- 47:33Speaker 2: for her. I do. I wish I could, you know,
- 47:35Speaker 2: I could give her the gift of mediation because she'll,
- 47:38Speaker 2: she'll go broke. He'll go broke. And at the end
- 47:41Speaker 2: of the day, they'll end up where they're supposed to
- 47:42Speaker 2: end up anyway. So, um, I just hope for the
- 47:45Speaker 2: baby's sake that, you know, she has a relate ocean
- 47:48Speaker 2: should have a relationship with her father and her mother.
- 47:51Speaker 2: But in this case, I do think that the mother
- 47:52Speaker 2: should have physical custody and that he should not, and
- 47:55Speaker 2: he should have visiting, you know, visitation. I think I'm
- 47:58Speaker 2: a big, strong believer that children should be brought up
- 48:01Speaker 2: primarily in one location. For them. It's best for them.
- 48:05Speaker 2: To go to school and get out of bed five
- 48:08Speaker 2: days a week in the same bed. I think it's
- 48:09Speaker 2: selfish when parents say two weeks. Monday, Tuesday, you're at
- 48:13Speaker 2: my house. Wednesday, Thursday. And you wonder why your kids
- 48:15Speaker 2: can't find their shit. And their homework is left here.
- 48:17Speaker 2: And this and that. It's like so disruptive. And I
- 48:20Speaker 2: grew up in one house and one bed. And I'm
- 48:21Speaker 2: all fucked up with stuff. Can you imagine if I
- 48:24Speaker 2: had to live in two locations all the time?
- 48:27Speaker 1: I know.
- 48:27Speaker 6: I know.
- 48:27Speaker 1: You know, it's hard because especially in California, they're very
- 48:30Speaker 1: much about 50-50. And I agree that the dad should
- 48:34Speaker 1: have the rights too.
- 48:34Speaker 3: But you're right. You have to think about what's best.
- 48:36Speaker 2: What's best for the kid?
- 48:37Speaker 1: Because I just saw a TikTok and this mom was like,
- 48:40Speaker 1: I just asked my son this.
- 48:42Speaker 3: Like, what was the hardest time in your life?
- 48:45Speaker 2: And he goes.
- 48:46Speaker 1: When you and dad had the thing where I had
- 48:48Speaker 1: to split the week.
- 48:50Speaker 2: Of course, it's hard.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Because now they had worked it out that a kid
- 48:53Speaker 1: was at the house the whole week.
- 48:55Speaker 3: And then, like, you know, or whatever.
- 48:57Speaker 1: And that's easier once they're older, too. Because once they're older,
- 49:00Speaker 1: the dad's like, hey, buddy, can I take you to dinner, like,
- 49:03Speaker 1: on Thursday?
- 49:04Speaker 3: And the mom is like, no problem.
- 49:05Speaker 2: Right, the truth is, right, let's be real.
- 49:06Speaker 3: But when they're babies, it's hard.
- 49:08Speaker 2: When they're little. And their friends, too, though, are going out.
- 49:10Speaker 4: Right, no, no.
- 49:10Speaker 2: And so when they're little... their life is revolved around school,
- 49:16Speaker 2: a little bit of homework, dinner, and bed. So if
- 49:19Speaker 2: a husband's working a full day, a full job and
- 49:21Speaker 2: coming home, if he's lucky at five or six or seven.
- 49:25Speaker 2: All he gets are the leftovers. He gets the bath
- 49:27Speaker 2: time and the hardest part, putting him to bed. So really,
- 49:30Speaker 2: what did you get out of that? What you did
- 49:32Speaker 2: is you tortured your kid now because now he's going
- 49:33Speaker 2: to not remember that he left something at home or whatever.
- 49:36Speaker 2: It's just torture, and it's about ego. It's always about
- 49:39Speaker 2: the parents. They like me more. The baby wants to
- 49:41Speaker 2: be with me. I feel so guilty that we're divorced
- 49:44Speaker 2: that I have to be with you half the time
- 49:46Speaker 2: because otherwise I'm not doing my job. If I don't
- 49:48Speaker 2: fight for half, then I'm a bad father. No, fight
- 49:51Speaker 2: for doing the best thing for your kid. And then
- 49:54Speaker 2: you'll have a healthy child and a great relationship when
- 49:56Speaker 2: they get older. I'm a really strong advocate. And you
- 49:59Speaker 2: know what? Allison's father never fought me on that. And
- 50:02Speaker 2: he had 50. He could have had whatever he wanted.
- 50:05Speaker 2: You know, I was very open. And he said, Allie
- 50:08Speaker 2: needs to sleep in your house every night because that's
- 50:10Speaker 2: the best thing for her. And I will come to her. Yeah,
- 50:12Speaker 2: when he moved to Jersey, it would have been much
- 50:14Speaker 2: more difficult for me to do Monday, Tuesday in his house.
- 50:15Speaker 2: But legally, he had the right to. He didn't do it.
- 50:17Speaker 2: We talked about it. That wasn't best for Allie.
- 50:19Speaker 5: Right.
- 50:20Speaker 2: Right.
- 50:21Speaker 1: So speaking of your juicy story last time you were
- 50:24Speaker 1: on about your donor family.
- 50:26Speaker 2: By the way, she only talked to you about that.
- 50:28Speaker 2: You know that. You broke a huge story.
- 50:30Speaker 1: I know.
- 50:30Speaker 2: It was everywhere. I'm going to.
- 50:32Speaker 1: Just remind people really quickly of the story.
- 50:35Speaker 2: Update.
- 50:36Speaker 1: How you found out later on, and we won't get
- 50:41Speaker 1: into how you found out. You found out only a
- 50:43Speaker 1: few years ago, right?
- 50:45Speaker 9: Yep, that my mom and dad used a sperm donor
- 50:48Speaker 9: to conceive me. And then we found out the sperm
- 50:52Speaker 9: donor that they chose wasn't actually the one that was used.
- 50:55Speaker 2: Correct. So the sperm bank mixed up the donor. Luckily,
- 50:59Speaker 2: it didn't affect me at all that.
- 51:01Speaker 9: I know of because at the end of the day,
- 51:03Speaker 9: I'm still my mom's child and whatever.
- 51:07Speaker 2: And we found him. His name is– I won't say
- 51:09Speaker 2: his name.
- 51:09Speaker 3: So you found the correct one.
- 51:10Speaker 2: We found him. We found the correct one.
- 51:11Speaker 9: However, I have not met him yet, but I have
- 51:13Speaker 9: met my half-sister through him.
- 51:16Speaker 3: And do you like her?
- 51:18Speaker 2: She's great. We've hung out a bunch. She actually saw
- 51:20Speaker 2: Gary in the street.
- 51:20Speaker 1: Oh, you've hung out? Really?
- 51:21Speaker 2: Hung out a bunch. She lives three blocks away from
- 51:23Speaker 2: my mom and Gary.
- 51:24Speaker 5: Really?
- 51:24Speaker 2: She moved to the city?
- 51:25Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 51:26Speaker 2: I didn't know that. Why didn't you invite her over?
- 51:28Speaker 1: And is she your half-sister through, because you're both, because
- 51:32Speaker 1: of the sperm donor? Oh, not like his actual child
- 51:35Speaker 1: that he's raised.
- 51:35Speaker 2: No, no, no. He's never, he doesn't have any children.
- 51:39Speaker 5: Oh.
- 51:39Speaker 9: It's all sperm donor children, and there's about four other
- 51:41Speaker 9: girls we know of, but I've only met this one.
- 51:43Speaker 2: And she's great.
- 51:44Speaker 3: Does she look like you?
- 51:45Speaker 2: Not really. Not really.
- 51:46Speaker 1: She's tall.
- 51:48Speaker 2: She has the eyes. She's blue.
- 51:49Speaker 1: And so have you guys only talked over the computer
- 51:51Speaker 1: or have you talked on the phone?
- 51:53Speaker 2: No, we've met in person. The dad, I have not.
- 51:55Speaker 2: The dad, I've only emailed.
- 51:57Speaker 1: And do you have any desire to meet him? Or
- 52:00Speaker 1: does he have any desire? What's the holdup?
- 52:04Speaker 9: I think he has a desire because he's asked me
- 52:06Speaker 9: a few times to meet. I don't really because I
- 52:09Speaker 9: feel like I'm pretty fulfilled in terms of dads and.
- 52:13Speaker 2: There is my dad. There is Bobby. There is Gary.
- 52:16Speaker 2: I wanted to meet him. Yeah, mom wants to meet him.
- 52:18Speaker 2: Ask him all the questions. I was like, no. I
- 52:21Speaker 2: don't know. I don't really have a strong desire to.
- 52:24Speaker 2: Is that weird?
- 52:24Speaker 1: So the mix-up, it wasn't someone they chose, but it
- 52:27Speaker 1: was someone that was like a popular donor. Like he
- 52:30Speaker 1: had all the assets.
- 52:31Speaker 3: People were choosing him as well.
- 52:33Speaker 2: We have no idea. We think it could have been
- 52:35Speaker 2: just a mistake.
- 52:37Speaker 1: Wow.
- 52:38Speaker 3: Well, at least it wasn't the doctor.
- 52:40Speaker 1: You know, that's happened.
- 52:41Speaker 4: Oh, yes, it has.
- 52:42Speaker 1: The story with that fertility doctor in Texas, he got off.
- 52:47Speaker 2: Impregnated everybody.
- 52:49Speaker 1: People would think they were choosing some California medical student.
- 52:53Speaker 2: Yeah, and it was the doctor.
- 52:54Speaker 1: Yeah, and it was the doctor.
- 52:56Speaker 2: But who knows? I mean, the sperm bank could have
- 52:58Speaker 2: been choosing this guy for a reason. We have no idea. Wow.
- 53:03Speaker 1: Okay, here's a good one.
- 53:04Speaker 9: That's my number one Google alert, so anyone Googles me.
- 53:08Speaker 1: Really?
- 53:08Speaker 2: Who is Ali Shapiro's dad?
- 53:10Speaker 9: Ali Shapiro.
- 53:11Speaker 1: Oh, my God. I love it. How would you feel, Allie,
- 53:17Speaker 1: if Jill, your mother, was killing it on Instagram and
- 53:21Speaker 1: TikTok by dancing in her bedroom in just her underwear?
- 53:27Speaker 2: I think there is someone that does that now.
- 53:30Speaker 6: Yes.
- 53:30Speaker 2: But she has a hot body. She has a hot body.
- 53:32Speaker 2: If you have a hot body. If I had a
- 53:34Speaker 2: hot body. And could dance. And I could dance. I
- 53:37Speaker 2: think it'd be great. I think it's really funny. It's
- 53:39Speaker 2: not like you're nobody. She's got great rhythm. I know
- 53:40Speaker 2: you're talking about LR. She's got. Everyone knows who we're
- 53:43Speaker 2: talking about. Yeah. LR. She has the sickest body. She's
- 53:47Speaker 2: got great rhythm. Great dancer. Was she on Dancing with
- 53:49Speaker 2: the Stars?
- 53:50Speaker 4: Yes.
- 53:50Speaker 2: Yes. She should have won.
- 53:52Speaker 3: Her body's ridiculous.
- 53:53Speaker 2: Ridiculous.
- 53:55Speaker 3: And I think her face is just stunning. I know
- 53:58Speaker 3: she's had a lot of work done. I don't care.
- 53:59Speaker 2: She's a beautiful girl.
- 54:00Speaker 1: I love her face.
- 54:02Speaker 2: And I love her personality.
- 54:03Speaker 3: And I love her lipstick.
- 54:05Speaker 2: I'm wearing it. So am I. I'm wearing it. The
- 54:08Speaker 2: Lisa Rinna lips.
- 54:10Speaker 3: I'm telling you, it's the best liner.
- 54:12Speaker 2: It is, because it rolls, and you don't have to
- 54:15Speaker 2: sharpen it.
- 54:16Speaker 3: You never have to sharpen it.
- 54:17Speaker 1: It's a liner, and then the lip, and then this
- 54:20Speaker 1: gloss on top.
- 54:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:23Speaker 1: It's really good.
- 54:23Speaker 9: I think anything a mom can do that's authentic and organic,
- 54:27Speaker 9: and you can post it yourself, would.
- 54:28Speaker 2: Make me very happy. Yeah. So if you want to dance...
- 54:30Speaker 2: And you're a t-shirt and underwear. That's fine. Okay.
- 54:33Speaker 3: Um, what would you do? This is for both of
- 54:35Speaker 3: you ladies.
- 54:37Speaker 1: What would you do if you're on a sprinter van
- 54:39Speaker 1: and it was surrounded by Homeland security to arrest one
- 54:43Speaker 1: of your friends slash castmates? Well, you saw that in
- 54:47Speaker 1: Salt Lake.
- 54:47Speaker 2: I might be looking for a future husband for Allie
- 54:50Speaker 2: if he's hot.
- 54:51Speaker 3: Oh, like the Homeland security guy.
- 54:53Speaker 9: Every single person she meets that's decently good looking. She goes,
- 54:56Speaker 9: are you single?
- 54:57Speaker 2: I'm just saying that's what's on my mind. I believe that. Um,
- 55:01Speaker 2: I would be, you know, I'd call my sister, Judge
- 55:03Speaker 2: Lisa Wexler.
- 55:05Speaker 3: Oh, and ask her.
- 55:06Speaker 1: That's right.
- 55:06Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 55:07Speaker 1: Yeah, that's good.
- 55:08Speaker 3: You would get the scoop there.
- 55:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:10Speaker 3: What do you think is going to happen with Jen Shaw?
- 55:12Speaker 2: I think she's gone to jail. Yeah. What happened? She
- 55:15Speaker 2: didn't have a case?
- 55:16Speaker 1: No, I think it's like set for October or something.
- 55:19Speaker 1: They moved it to October?
- 55:21Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, or maybe it's July. It's July or October.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Can you just look it up?
- 55:25Speaker 2: What do you think is going to happen?
- 55:26Speaker 3: I think she's going to get time for sure.
- 55:29Speaker 2: Real time in jail?
- 55:30Speaker 3: Real time.
- 55:30Speaker 2: Wow.
- 55:31Speaker 3: Like five years. I was going to say like six.
- 55:34Speaker 2: But it's a first offense. Wow. It's a first offense.
- 55:37Speaker 4: It is.
- 55:38Speaker 1: It's not. There's a lot more to it. It's not
- 55:40Speaker 1: necessarily the first offense. She kind of was caught for
- 55:42Speaker 1: doing it before. Oh. And then like figured a different
- 55:44Speaker 1: way to do it.
- 55:45Speaker 3: I didn't know that.
- 55:45Speaker 2: She was arrested for that?
- 55:46Speaker 3: I think she'll get six years, but end up doing
- 55:49Speaker 3: like two and a half.
- 55:50Speaker 2: As of March 10th, it was perspective July.
- 55:52Speaker 1: July.
- 55:53Speaker 4: Wow.
- 55:53Speaker 2: I wonder why.
- 55:54Speaker 3: Right around the corner.
- 55:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:57Speaker 3: Let's see. And I know they're filming right now.
- 55:59Speaker 2: But you can imagine how she doesn't sleep at night.
- 56:01Speaker 2: I mean, you can't sleep at night not knowing.
- 56:02Speaker 1: That you're going to be in jail.
- 56:03Speaker 3: She is sleeping at night.
- 56:03Speaker 1: She's, like, dancing around having the time of her life.
- 56:06Speaker 3: She's sleeping at night.
- 56:07Speaker 2: She's in long, long lines.
- 56:09Speaker 1: Does she have stressful moments, like, when she has a
- 56:11Speaker 1: meeting with the, you know, attorneys or whatever? But then
- 56:14Speaker 1: I think she almost, like, compartmentalizes it and is able to, like,
- 56:17Speaker 1: you know, go, it's amazing, and sell all her stuff
- 56:20Speaker 1: and dance and have fun. And she was, like, up
- 56:22Speaker 1: on– she was doing some dancing with some person– Um,
- 56:25Speaker 1: who was she with?
- 56:26Speaker 2: Do you have any friends on the show? Do you
- 56:27Speaker 2: know what's going on there?
- 56:28Speaker 1: Listen, I'm just saying she can still have a good time.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Does she have some really hard moments? Does she cry
- 56:33Speaker 1: at night and freak out? I'm sure she does, but
- 56:35Speaker 1: it's not like she can't have fun as well. And
- 56:38Speaker 1: she should, she might be in jail for six years.
- 56:40Speaker 3: She should freaking be dancing.
- 56:42Speaker 4: No.
- 56:42Speaker 2: What happened to the, um, what?
- 56:44Speaker 9: No.
- 56:45Speaker 6: Lotto.
- 56:46Speaker 3: She was dancing with Lotto.
- 56:47Speaker 5: No.
- 56:47Speaker 2: What happened with the one who didn't come back? What's
- 56:50Speaker 2: her name? Mary. What happened to her in the church?
- 56:53Speaker 3: I think the church is gone.
- 56:55Speaker 1: You think it's gone? I went to the church. It's
- 56:59Speaker 1: all boarded up. It's over with.
- 57:01Speaker 2: She might have moved the church.
- 57:03Speaker 1: There's so few people left that are into this church.
- 57:07Speaker 1: You think so? Yes. People have done the research that
- 57:10Speaker 1: it's not even like 100 people.
- 57:12Speaker 2: She's probably starting it up somewhere else.
- 57:16Speaker 3: Now it's hard though. What kind of fools are you
- 57:18Speaker 3: going to get?
- 57:19Speaker 1: There are a lot of fools. I think it's pretty
- 57:24Speaker 1: hard to start again. Okay, we're going to let me
- 57:26Speaker 1: see if there's anything. Are you friends with any, Allie,
- 57:29Speaker 1: any other of the Bravo kids that you keep in
- 57:31Speaker 1: touch with or really?
- 57:33Speaker 2: I'd say I'm friendly with most of them.
- 57:36Speaker 9: Like if I saw Avery and Victoria, we always get along.
- 57:42Speaker 9: I think Jersey kids, if I saw them. But it
- 57:46Speaker 9: was weird because we were one of the first housewives
- 57:48Speaker 9: and we were all young. I feel like now there's
- 57:49Speaker 9: a big age gap between older kids that.
- 57:52Speaker 2: Are older and then the new housewives, kids that are
- 57:54Speaker 2: much younger. So there's a big age gap. Yeah.
- 57:58Speaker 9: But I think like a BravoCon, we hang out with them.
- 58:00Speaker 9: It's nice to have this camaraderie and this shared experience.
- 58:03Speaker 5: But.
- 58:03Speaker 2: You know what?
- 58:05Speaker 1: I'm going to.
- 58:05Speaker 2: No one's in a day. I'm going to... Oh, Brooke's more. Okay.
- 58:08Speaker 1: All right.
- 58:09Speaker 3: I'm pitching something right now.
- 58:10Speaker 1: BravoCon.
- 58:11Speaker 3: Because it's my idea.
- 58:12Speaker 1: It's going to be really awkward if you don't ask
- 58:14Speaker 1: me to do it. We need to have a panel. Yeah.
- 58:17Speaker 3: With the kids.
- 58:18Speaker 2: OG kids or new kids?
- 58:19Speaker 1: OG. What do you mean?
- 58:21Speaker 3: Like, the OG? It doesn't matter. It could be a variety.
- 58:24Speaker 4: Well, no.
- 58:24Speaker 2: Kids of the past or kids of the present. Like,
- 58:26Speaker 2: Mook Mooks is now, and Ally's 10 years ago.
- 58:29Speaker 3: I think we could mix them. I think that's what's interesting.
- 58:31Speaker 9: Well, do you remember there was a Watch What Happens
- 58:33Speaker 9: Live special where Andy invited the kids and didn't invite me,
- 58:35Speaker 9: and someone took it very personally.
- 58:39Speaker 1: Oh, why weren't you invited for that?
- 58:40Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know.
- 58:42Speaker 1: Then maybe I can't get this because it was kind
- 58:45Speaker 1: of already done. But anyway, I would like to.
- 58:47Speaker 2: No, it was different when it wasn't.
- 58:50Speaker 1: As a mother of kids that are 20s and teens,
- 58:55Speaker 1: I would like to do a panel.
- 58:58Speaker 3: With whatever kids they want. I know every single one.
- 59:03Speaker 1: And I can come up with questions and everything of
- 59:05Speaker 1: what what would you ask Allie? Well, I've asked her
- 59:08Speaker 1: a lot on this show, but, um, mostly, you know,
- 59:12Speaker 1: mostly I really want to get to like the juice.
- 59:16Speaker 1: Like when, what, when was one time that being your
- 59:22Speaker 1: daughter's child was was, and this is good, that it
- 59:27Speaker 1: really helped you or was really beneficial or a super
- 59:30Speaker 1: fun night? What was one experience that you were like, wow,
- 59:33Speaker 1: this wouldn't have happened.
- 59:35Speaker 3: Or this was great.
- 59:35Speaker 1: This person approached me. And then when was one of
- 59:38Speaker 1: the times where it was really hurtful?
- 59:40Speaker 9: In my perspective, I would say that my mom was
- 59:43Speaker 9: always this like socialite person.
- 59:46Speaker 2: So I never felt like our lives changed that much.
- 59:48Speaker 9: Like it was a very gradual shift because there was
- 59:51Speaker 9: no overnight social media.
- 59:53Speaker 2: So for me, I always felt like we were always
- 59:55Speaker 2: this socialite. They were always her friends.
- 59:57Speaker 9: Nothing really changed that drastically for a very long time
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: until pretty much the past few years. Like we were
- 1:00:03Speaker 9: always kind of in magazines and stuff. So I never
- 1:00:06Speaker 9: really felt like it helped us that much when I
- 1:00:09Speaker 9: was younger.
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: But I can give you an example.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 1:00:11Speaker 9: But I always felt like it hurt me because I
- 1:00:14Speaker 9: was embarrassed in school, going to college.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: I was embarrassed getting a job after school.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: You were embarrassed because would people.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Say it or you thought they were thinking it? Like, oh,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: that's Jill Zarin's daughter, Allie.
- 1:00:24Speaker 9: Because I was scared when they Googled me, if I
- 1:00:26Speaker 9: had a job, they would see Jill Zarin's daughter, whatever
- 1:00:29Speaker 9: it is.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: And it was about weight loss and a diet camp
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: and whatever.
- 1:00:32Speaker 9: But I feel like now with social media and stuff,
- 1:00:36Speaker 9: everyone has a platform.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: Everyone's some kind of a celebrity. And you have your
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: own voice.
- 1:00:39Speaker 9: Yeah, it's not that crazy anymore special to be recognized
- 1:00:44Speaker 9: or known.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: And so I feel like, yeah, I mean, it helps us.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: Oh, that's an interesting point.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: In general, being like semi-famous, but I wouldn't say like
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: the housewives... skyrocketed.
- 1:00:53Speaker 9: Us specifically it was more of like this overall fame
- 1:00:57Speaker 9: that we've all you know but I remember there's a
- 1:00:59Speaker 9: club in New York that you went to I think
- 1:01:01Speaker 9: in the last couple of years and they recognized you
- 1:01:04Speaker 9: oh my god I won't say the name of it
- 1:01:06Speaker 9: no but it's funnier it's funnier so I went to
- 1:01:08Speaker 9: a club with my friends they were giving us a
- 1:01:09Speaker 9: very hard time me and my guy friends by a
- 1:01:11Speaker 9: table we get in and the bouncer was probably gay
- 1:01:14Speaker 9: I would say he was gay and he goes you
- 1:01:16Speaker 9: know these all of these curtains are from Zarin Fabrics
- 1:01:21Speaker 9: And so it was funny because, like, he knew me
- 1:01:23Speaker 9: and that it was there in Fabrics.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: I don't remember that.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: But it didn't really help me get into the club. So, yeah,
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: I mean, I feel like you never know who.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Up in the club.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: Well, all the gays love you.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: But I'm just saying, wasn't there a time where you
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: went to the door and the doorman recognized you?
- 1:01:38Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: And he said, you can come in with all your friends.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: And Allie was like, was a big shot because she
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: got 15 people into a club that you couldn't get into.
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Because they recognized her.
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: Right, so that's exactly.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: So that's a positive, right?
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: You answered the question perfectly.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: It had those perks, but then it had this extra
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: anxiety or stress a little bit.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: So, well, girls, thank you so much.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: Thank you for schlepping over here.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: When am I, let's get out the calendar.
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: Yep.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: For when I'm coming to hang out, I'm inviting myself
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: to the Hamptons this summer.
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: You are always invited. I'm your guest at BravoCon.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: And then I also want to get out and pick
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: out and buy some rugs today.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Today.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: Because I keep saying I won't, and I never, so
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: while we're here, we're going to show me the stuff.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: I need one for my house inside, and I need
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: one for my patio.
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: Good.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: You know your sizes. That was the issue.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: I mean, I can show you here what my size is.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: I'll walk around and you tell me what it is.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: And we can share our code.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: What is the code for the Juicy Scoopers?
- 1:02:43Speaker 9: Juicy15 on JillZarin.com and JillAndAllie.com for all of your gifts
- 1:02:47Speaker 9: and rugs and furniture and everything.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: Awesome.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: Thank you, girls.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: Thank you for having us. Thanks for having us.
