- 2:11Speaker 2: next weekend, we got the big pay per view in
- 2:13Speaker 2: Berlin for WWE We've got I'm gonna go over the
- 2:17Speaker 2: card for that. So far, we got football preseason final week.
- 2:22Speaker 2: That means that next week there will be no new
- 2:25Speaker 2: games to talk about. We will be talking about the
- 2:27Speaker 2: NFL season starting. That's right, we are starting the NFL
- 2:31Speaker 2: season two weeks from today. In fact, is the first
- 2:35Speaker 2: game of the regular season two weeks from today. And
- 2:38Speaker 2: tonight we've got the Chicago Bears and Kansas City Chiefs
- 2:41Speaker 2: playing each other. So let's go over what happened. And then,
- 2:45Speaker 2: of course we are gonna also talk about fantasy football.
- 2:49Speaker 2: This is the last week we're talking about that.
- 2:51Speaker 3: We're gonna go.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Over the best defenses in fantasy football, and we're gonna
- 2:58Speaker 2: be a little sports heavy today. Everything else, we don't
- 3:01Speaker 2: have a lot of entertainment to talk about. We'll find
- 3:03Speaker 2: out where all the movies are of course, and stuff
- 3:07Speaker 2: like that. But yeah, so let's go over that right now,
- 3:10Speaker 2: Let's talk a little bit of football. So last week
- 3:15Speaker 2: in football, here was how it all went down. Last week,
- 3:18Speaker 2: we had the Eagles beating the Patriots fourteen to thirteen.
- 3:22Speaker 2: We had the Ravens over the Falcons thirteen to twelve,
- 3:26Speaker 2: the Bears whooped down the Bengals twenty seven to three,
- 3:30Speaker 2: Texans over the Giants twenty eight to ten. We had
- 3:34Speaker 2: the Lions beating the Chiefs twenty four to twenty three,
- 3:37Speaker 2: Vikings over the Browns twenty seven to twelve. The Seahawks
- 3:41Speaker 2: lost to the Titans sixteen to fifteen. The Bills won
- 3:45Speaker 2: nine to three over the Steelers, Jets fifteen to twelve
- 3:49Speaker 2: over the Panthers. We had the Dolphins over the Commanders
- 3:52Speaker 2: thirteen to six. We had the Colts over the Cardinals
- 3:55Speaker 2: twenty one to thirteen, Rams over the Chargers thirteen to nine.
- 4:00Speaker 2: The Jaguars won over the Bucks twenty to seven. The
- 4:04Speaker 2: Cowboys beat the Raiders twenty seven to twelve, Broncos over
- 4:08Speaker 2: the Packers twenty seven to two. Jordan Love did not
- 4:12Speaker 2: play in that game. And then, of course we had
- 4:15Speaker 2: the last game of the week. Last week was the
- 4:17Speaker 2: forty nine Ers over the same sixteen to ten. Let's
- 4:21Speaker 2: look really quick at a few of the games for
- 4:23Speaker 2: last week and see what might have happened. So the
- 4:26Speaker 2: Packers twenty seven to two loss over the Broncos. Let's
- 4:33Speaker 2: see what the Packers did. Let's see only fifty two
- 4:38Speaker 2: yards for Pratt and no touchdowns, no interceptions. And then Clifford,
- 4:44Speaker 2: the other quarterback, had forty three yards and one interception.
- 4:49Speaker 2: So that's why no touchdowns of course anywhere, I mean,
- 4:55Speaker 2: everybody just played.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Like total trash.
- 4:58Speaker 2: And look, you can say all you want, this is
- 4:59Speaker 2: the p but these are guys who are trying to
- 5:02Speaker 2: make the team. These are guys who are fighting for
- 5:05Speaker 2: spots or fighting for starting spots, fighting for spots just
- 5:09Speaker 2: in general on the team, and they're playing this bad.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Yeah. I don't know. I'm not a big fan of that.
- 5:15Speaker 2: I think that this team played horrible and it showed.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Let's see what other game. Let's see what Justin Fields
- 5:21Speaker 2: did last week in his game. I know both him
- 5:28Speaker 2: and Russell Wilson both.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Played in that game.
- 5:31Speaker 2: So let's see Russell Wilson, he had forty seven yards
- 5:39Speaker 2: on eight to ten, no touchdowns, no picks, and Justin
- 5:42Speaker 2: Fields was eleven for seventeen for ninety two yards, no touchdowns,
- 5:47Speaker 2: no picks. He also rushed eight times for forty two yards.
- 5:52Speaker 2: He had almost as many rushing yards as Russell Wilson
- 5:55Speaker 2: had passing yards in the same amount of carries. That's crazy,
- 6:00Speaker 2: but yeah, so not really the greatest. I mean, if
- 6:05Speaker 2: you're justin fields, you want to get into the end zone.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Somehow he couldn't get there on his feet, and he
- 6:09Speaker 2: couldn't get there with his arm. So we'll see what happens,
- 6:12Speaker 2: and let's see what the Jets did.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Let's see.
- 6:15Speaker 2: I don't think Aaron Rodgers played again. And I think
- 6:18Speaker 2: this is a mistake that they're making because I don't
- 6:24Speaker 2: think he played at all in any I don't he
- 6:27Speaker 2: didn't play in the first preseason game.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Let's see, did he play. No.
- 6:31Speaker 2: I get that he is a veteran player, but he's
- 6:35Speaker 2: just coming off an Achilles injury. You would think they'd
- 6:37Speaker 2: want him out there to make sure that he's good
- 6:40Speaker 2: before the season starts. At least four a quarter of
- 6:44Speaker 2: the game, what two series, maybe three, depending on how
- 6:47Speaker 2: the defense plays. It's kind of ridiculous that you don't throw.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Him out there. I just don't understand that.
- 6:55Speaker 2: But he didn't and then last, but not least, of course,
- 6:58Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell everybody how my boy Caleb Williams did
- 7:02Speaker 2: last week.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Played good.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I think, let's see, let's look at his.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Stance really quick.
- 7:10Speaker 2: He did a couple three and outs to start the
- 7:12Speaker 2: game out, but after he got a little comfortable. He
- 7:15Speaker 2: ended up with seventy five yards, no touchdowns, and no.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Picks through the air.
- 7:22Speaker 2: He did run for seven yards and a touchdown, so
- 7:27Speaker 2: his first NFL touchdown he did get. You know, it's preseason,
- 7:31Speaker 2: so I won't count his first official one wll B
- 7:34Speaker 2: during the regular season. But he did do good, you know,
- 7:39Speaker 2: seventy five yards, seven yards on the ground, a touchdown,
- 7:42Speaker 2: no interceptions. Again, two games in a row he is
- 7:45Speaker 2: not thrown a pick. That's pretty good, pretty decent, at
- 7:50Speaker 2: least in my eyes. I believe that's pretty decent that
- 7:53Speaker 2: he was playing that way. Bears won twenty seven to three.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Tyson bagent and eighty seven yards and two touchdowns, ripping
- 8:01Speaker 2: through three for four for fifty three yards. Not too bad.
- 8:05Speaker 2: And then of course Williams was six to thirteen for
- 8:08Speaker 2: seventy five yards. Herbert had five carries for thirty one
- 8:12Speaker 2: Donsay had one rushing one rush for sixteen Through the air,
- 8:19Speaker 2: Pettis caught three receptions for fifty three yards and two touchdowns.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Dounsay had the one catch for forty five yards.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Like I said, I.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Feel that Caleb Williams looked really good. I don't think
- 8:31Speaker 2: he needs any more time in there. Obviously, Tonight, let's
- 8:36Speaker 2: go over all the games for this week, and so let's.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Talk about it.
- 8:40Speaker 2: We've got the Colts, the Colts and the Begels tonight
- 8:44Speaker 2: and the Bears and the Chiefs tonight. There's two games
- 8:47Speaker 2: tonight on TV. Bears and Chiefs will rest all their stove.
- 8:51Speaker 2: The Bears had most other starters. I don't know who
- 8:54Speaker 2: they're thinking of starting. I don't think you're gonna see
- 8:57Speaker 2: a lot of Maybe a Doonsay maybe and stuff like that.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Maybe Keenan Allen, because he's kind of struggled, might get
- 9:04Speaker 2: a little time in there. But yeah, not many starters
- 9:07Speaker 2: are gonna play. I know you're not gonna see Kelsey,
- 9:10Speaker 2: You're not gonna see Mahomes in there. You're not gonna
- 9:14Speaker 2: see Caleb Williams. So they're all gonna sit out. And
- 9:20Speaker 2: then tomorrow we got the Jaguars and Falcons. We've got
- 9:24Speaker 2: the Dolphins and the Buccaneers, forty nine, Ers and the Raiders. Saturday,
- 9:28Speaker 2: Vikings and Eagles, Ravens and Packers, Steelers at the Lions,
- 9:36Speaker 2: Rams at the Texans, Panthers at the Bills, and then
- 9:40Speaker 2: the Cowboys and the Chargers, Giants at the Jets, Browns
- 9:45Speaker 2: at the Seahawks. Sunday we've got Titans and Saints, Cardinals
- 9:50Speaker 2: and Broncos and it ends at seven o'clock with the
- 9:53Speaker 2: Patriots and the Commanders. Don't expect to see any major
- 10:01Speaker 2: players starting for any of the teams. I doubt we're
- 10:05Speaker 2: gonna see that. So when you're watching this weekend, I
- 10:07Speaker 2: don't expect to see a ton of starters out there.
- 10:10Speaker 2: You may see some second stringers. I'm anxious to see
- 10:15Speaker 2: if we're gonna see Justin Fields play, because nobody is
- 10:19Speaker 2: for sure yet. Well, we're gonna see with Russell Wilson
- 10:22Speaker 2: and Justin Fields yet. Maybe Justin Fields gets to start.
- 10:26Speaker 2: He has had a better preseason. Wilson's coming off an injury,
- 10:31Speaker 2: so you know, maybe he'll start. They haven't really announced it.
- 10:36Speaker 2: They did originally say that you were going to see
- 10:41Speaker 2: Justin Fields as the backup. They said that when Russell
- 10:45Speaker 2: Wilson signed with them and then they signed Justin or
- 10:47Speaker 2: traded for Justin Fields, they said that it was Russell
- 10:51Speaker 2: Wilson's starting job. But things change in the preseason. You
- 10:55Speaker 2: see a player playing well or better than the other player,
- 11:00Speaker 2: he'll get the start. We'll see Bears are gonna actually
- 11:03Speaker 2: be making cuts after this weekend. Obviously, all the rosters
- 11:08Speaker 2: have to be down to fifty three players, so some
- 11:11Speaker 2: guys are going to leave. We'll see what they do
- 11:15Speaker 2: with that. Next week we'll talk about all the players
- 11:17Speaker 2: that got cut, and then I'll talk about the fifty
- 11:20Speaker 2: three man roster.
- 11:22Speaker 3: I'm also next.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Week gonna go over what I think is gonna happen
- 11:26Speaker 2: for the Bears this season, win by win, lost by loss,
- 11:30Speaker 2: So we'll do that. I don't do that the week
- 11:32Speaker 2: of because it's the week before.
- 11:35Speaker 3: You know, the week of is done.
- 11:36Speaker 2: I mean, once the players are down to fifty three
- 11:38Speaker 2: man roster, you already know who's there who's gonna play.
- 11:43Speaker 3: So yeah, I'm definitely gonna go over that.
- 11:45Speaker 2: But yeah, I'm looking at the end of this preseason
- 11:47Speaker 2: list and then it says right here, which is crazy.
- 11:53Speaker 3: I'm looking looking, looking.
- 11:56Speaker 2: It says week one of eighteen. I cannot believe we
- 11:59Speaker 2: are almost that football season. So let's talk about something else. Now,
- 12:03Speaker 2: let's talk about the defense. So obviously, fantasy football people
- 12:09Speaker 2: are gonna start drafting as of probably this weekend next week,
- 12:14Speaker 2: you know, stuff like that. I know my draft is
- 12:16Speaker 2: this Sunday, and stuff like that. So let's talk about defenses.
- 12:20Speaker 2: This is the last one. After this, we're done. Good
- 12:24Speaker 2: luck with all your drafts and stuff. So here we
- 12:26Speaker 2: go on the defenses. Tier one, number one, Baltimore. Their
- 12:32Speaker 2: defense is coming to number one, number two, the New Jersey,
- 12:37Speaker 2: the New York Jets coming in number two, number three.
- 12:41Speaker 2: San Francisco's defense. Special teams Tier two number four, Dallas,
- 12:47Speaker 2: number five, Cleveland, number six, Pittsburgh, number seven, Kansas City.
- 12:53Speaker 3: I don't believe this.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I think the Bears should have been in the number
- 12:56Speaker 2: two tier. I think that that defense proved enough last year,
- 13:00Speaker 2: and they improved a little over the offseason. I think
- 13:02Speaker 2: they should have been in the tier two. Here's Tier three,
- 13:05Speaker 2: number eight, Buffalo, number nine, Houston, number ten, Philly, number eleven, Miami,
- 13:12Speaker 2: number twelve, New Orleans at number thirteen, Chicago, You're telling
- 13:16Speaker 2: me that the Bears don't have a top ten defense
- 13:18Speaker 2: right now, I.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Don't believe that.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Tier four Detroit number fourteen, number fifteen, Indianapolis number sixteen,
- 13:26Speaker 2: Jacksonville number seventeen, Green Bay number eighteen, Cincinnati number nineteen,
- 13:32Speaker 2: Las Vegas number twenty, Minnesota, and number twenty one is
- 13:37Speaker 2: New England Tier five, last tier Tampa Bay coming in
- 13:41Speaker 2: twenty two, Denver number twenty three, Seattle twenty four, twenty five,
- 13:47Speaker 2: the New York Giants twenty six, Atlanta twenty seven, the
- 13:51Speaker 2: Rams twenty eighth, the Chargers twenty nine, Carolina thirty Tennessee,
- 13:58Speaker 2: thirty one Washington, and thirty two Arizona. So those are
- 14:02Speaker 2: your teams and the defensive ranks for fantasy football. Obviously,
- 14:07Speaker 2: usually people have to get at least two defenses. Yeah,
- 14:09Speaker 2: the one that starts and then the one that sits.
- 14:14Speaker 2: I think your best tiers are tiers one through three. Obviously,
- 14:18Speaker 2: after that is a little sketchy. I feel good the
- 14:22Speaker 2: Bears are taking on in their first week tennesseee because
- 14:24Speaker 2: if their defense is ranked number thirty in fantasy football,
- 14:29Speaker 2: their defense must not be that great at all. So
- 14:34Speaker 2: I feel like Caleb Williams I think is gonna throw
- 14:37Speaker 2: about three hundred yards and probably three touchdowns against that defense.
- 14:41Speaker 2: I would love to see him do like three touchdowns,
- 14:45Speaker 2: three hundred yards, no picks in the first game. He
- 14:48Speaker 2: has gone through two preseason games and not thrown a
- 14:50Speaker 2: pick yet, and he threw for over forty passes, so
- 14:57Speaker 2: pretty decent if you think about O forty. He threw
- 15:01Speaker 2: like forty three or forty five times and did not
- 15:04Speaker 2: throw a pick once, So I mean do the math
- 15:08Speaker 2: on that. You know, that's pretty decent. But then again,
- 15:11Speaker 2: he didn't play.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Four full quarters. He played three.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Actually he played three total because he played one quarter
- 15:17Speaker 2: in the first game and two quarters in the second,
- 15:20Speaker 2: so he played almost a full game and never throw
- 15:23Speaker 2: a pick. So that's pretty decent. But tonight I said
- 15:26Speaker 2: it's all gonna be backups. In fact, I think they
- 15:28Speaker 2: said Begent's gonna start, but he's only gonna play like
- 15:32Speaker 2: maybe a quarter and then they're gonna put in Ripping
- 15:35Speaker 2: and then the fourth string quarterback. I you know what,
- 15:40Speaker 2: I've been watching Hard knocks.
- 15:43Speaker 3: And this team is completely growing on me.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Because when you watch hard knocks and you really get
- 15:48Speaker 2: to see the ins and outs of things that you
- 15:50Speaker 2: don't see every day. You really learn these players. Anybody
- 15:55Speaker 2: who thought that Caleb Williams was gonna be Prima Donna
- 16:00Speaker 2: all that stuff, Watch Hard Knocks and you're gonna see
- 16:02Speaker 2: a side of him that you didn't know, the side
- 16:05Speaker 2: of him that is very humble, The side of him
- 16:08Speaker 2: that he takes over a huddle like a veteran, not
- 16:11Speaker 2: a rookie, like a scared rookie. The side of him
- 16:16Speaker 2: that does podcasts with people and has fun. You know,
- 16:21Speaker 2: I mean, Caleb Williams is not your average rookie. You
- 16:27Speaker 2: could say all you want about Tyson Bagen. Oh, well,
- 16:29Speaker 2: he threw two touchdowns in the landst game, you know what.
- 16:33Speaker 2: He threw it against third and ford stringers. A little
- 16:35Speaker 2: different than Caleb playing against first and second stringers. Very
- 16:39Speaker 2: different because anybody could go in there and throw against
- 16:43Speaker 2: third and ford stringers. Buffalo had their starters in in
- 16:48Speaker 2: that first week, and then last week against Cincinnati they
- 16:52Speaker 2: had their starters in. Two starters on second stringers. Second
- 16:57Speaker 2: stringers are starters in the making. They are the next
- 17:01Speaker 2: line of defense. If a starter goes down.
- 17:04Speaker 3: If you are a.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Second stringer, it means that your coach actually thinks you're
- 17:08Speaker 2: gonna be the one to step up when somebody gets hurt.
- 17:12Speaker 2: So for people to say, oh, well, second stringers aren't good, yeah,
- 17:16Speaker 2: they're good because they're the next line of defense.
- 17:19Speaker 3: That's why.
- 17:23Speaker 2: So you know, like I said, we'll see what happens.
- 17:26Speaker 2: But I am very excited for the future of this team.
- 17:29Speaker 2: I'm very excited to see where Caleb Williams goes. And
- 17:32Speaker 2: next week I will talk about what I think his
- 17:34Speaker 2: final stants are gonna be. I'm gonna talk about the
- 17:38Speaker 2: season games. It's gonna be an in depth look at
- 17:41Speaker 2: the NFL season a week before the season starts. So
- 17:43Speaker 2: we'll do that next week.
- 17:44Speaker 3: All right, let's move on to WWE.
- 17:48Speaker 2: We'll talk a little WWE actually own, and let's see
- 17:51Speaker 2: what matches we have finalized for Bash and Berlin with
- 17:55Speaker 2: one week left before it starts, or actually we're ten
- 17:58Speaker 2: days away, alright, So here is the match card so far.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Of course, Basha Berlin is taking place next Saturday, August
- 18:07Speaker 2: thirty first, and it's gonna be an early one, so
- 18:11Speaker 2: not too early though if you're in like the Chicago area,
- 18:14Speaker 2: it starts at like eleven thirty. If you're on the
- 18:17Speaker 2: East coast like twelve thirty, and if you're on the
- 18:20Speaker 2: West coast, you got at the earliest, like nine thirty
- 18:23Speaker 2: in the morning, but not too crazy early, not like
- 18:26Speaker 2: some of the other ones that started at like seven am.
- 18:28Speaker 3: That was horrible.
- 18:30Speaker 2: But yeah, So Bash and Berlin is next weekend. Here
- 18:33Speaker 2: is the card so far. We still have Friday Nights
- 18:36Speaker 2: SmackDown this week, Monday Night Raw next week, and then
- 18:39Speaker 2: of course you still SmackDown next week. Also usually by
- 18:44Speaker 2: then it's all finalized. You won't see any matches, but
- 18:47Speaker 2: we'll see what happens. So here we go World Heavyweight
- 18:51Speaker 2: Championship match, Gunther versus Randy Orton. That's gonna be a
- 18:55Speaker 2: Barnberger next week. I will give my predictions for it
- 19:00Speaker 2: and see who I think is gonna win the matches.
- 19:03Speaker 2: But yeah, Gluther versus Randy Orton, the undisputed Championship. It's
- 19:08Speaker 2: gonna be Cody Rose versus Kevin Owens. That's gonna be
- 19:11Speaker 2: decent Damian Priest and Real Ripley versus Dominic Mysterio and
- 19:15Speaker 2: Live Morgan in a mixed tag match.
- 19:18Speaker 3: And then this.
- 19:19Speaker 2: One was just announced on Raw Monday Night, CM Punk
- 19:24Speaker 2: versus Drew McIntyre in a strap match. If you don't
- 19:27Speaker 2: know the rules to this very simple. A strap match
- 19:30Speaker 2: is both guys wear a strap on their wrists, so
- 19:33Speaker 2: they're strapped together, and you have to drag your opponent
- 19:38Speaker 2: to each corner of the ring and slap the turnbuckle.
- 19:42Speaker 3: You do not.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Win the match unless you slap all four. But it
- 19:48Speaker 2: has to be in concession with each other, so you
- 19:51Speaker 2: cannot just slap one and then go slap another later.
- 19:54Speaker 2: It has to be four in a row, so you
- 19:57Speaker 2: gotta go to each side and do it. That's how
- 19:59Speaker 2: the strap matches usually work. Now to the rules change,
- 20:04Speaker 2: it's WW they can do what they want with it.
- 20:06Speaker 2: But normally, yes, you would have to touch each corner
- 20:10Speaker 2: in succession. You cannot say, oh, well I did three already,
- 20:13Speaker 2: so I just need that fourth. Nope, it's got to
- 20:15Speaker 2: be all four of them. But yeah, so and that's
- 20:18Speaker 2: so far, we got what four matches, pretty decent. Here's
- 20:23Speaker 2: a couple that they said could get added United States
- 20:26Speaker 2: Championship La Night, Yeah versus Santos Escobari's putting his United
- 20:31Speaker 2: States title on the line.
- 20:35Speaker 3: I did hear that, I believe.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Friday Night on SmackDown is when that match is gonna
- 20:40Speaker 2: be this Friday, but they could end it in a
- 20:45Speaker 2: wonky way, or La Night wins and Santos wants another match,
- 20:51Speaker 2: or maybe Andrade interferes. Now here's what I could see
- 20:55Speaker 2: Andrade los of Santos. I can see him interfere in them,
- 21:00Speaker 2: and then maybe they make a triple threat, so it
- 21:04Speaker 2: will be l A Knight versus Santos, Escobar versus Andrade
- 21:09Speaker 2: at Bashu Berlin, all three of them for the title.
- 21:12Speaker 2: That'd be cool too. So I think that they might
- 21:15Speaker 2: do that Intercontinental Championship bron Breaker putting his title line
- 21:20Speaker 2: versus Seamus and Ludwig Kaiser. That'd be an awesome match too.
- 21:25Speaker 2: I think they should do that. If not, bron Breaker
- 21:27Speaker 2: can maybe just go against Seamus or just l or
- 21:30Speaker 2: just Ludwig. There's different ways to do it, but we'll
- 21:33Speaker 2: see what happens. But I believe that match will get
- 21:36Speaker 2: thrown onto the card. And then here's one more possibility
- 21:39Speaker 2: that they're saying the Bloodline Tomatonga and Tonga Loa put
- 21:44Speaker 2: their tag team titles on the line against diy of
- 21:48Speaker 2: Johnny Gargano and Tomaso Champa or the street profits Angelo
- 21:52Speaker 2: Dawkins and Montese Ford. You could do another triple threat there.
- 21:56Speaker 2: You could do a bunch of triple threats. It would
- 21:57Speaker 2: be fun. I think fans will like that. But that's
- 22:01Speaker 2: a lot of triple throats, so I don't think that'll happen.
- 22:03Speaker 3: But you never know.
- 22:05Speaker 2: It's WW. They want to give the best card possible
- 22:07Speaker 2: to the people in Germany, so we'll see what happens.
- 22:10Speaker 2: That's gonna be a good one. That's next Saturday morning.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Now let's talk about the big one this weekend from London.
- 22:18Speaker 3: We got one in.
- 22:19Speaker 2: London this weekend, and then we've got one next week
- 22:22Speaker 2: in Berlin. This week we got WW all in aw
- 22:27Speaker 2: all in Sorry. That one's gonna be fun too, And
- 22:32Speaker 2: here's the match card in my predictions for that.
- 22:34Speaker 3: We'll see how good I do on this one. And
- 22:36Speaker 3: I don't even watch AW that much.
- 22:38Speaker 2: I don't have time between work, podcasting, and family, I
- 22:41Speaker 2: don't have time to watch ten million wrestling shows a week,
- 22:44Speaker 2: so I don't really watch AW that much.
- 22:47Speaker 3: I pick and choose. I barely watch ROW.
- 22:49Speaker 2: In fact, it's funny. I watch a little SmackDown, I'll
- 22:52Speaker 2: watch clips of RAW. I'll watch clips of AW. But
- 22:57Speaker 2: I really the biggest thing is I watch the WW
- 23:00Speaker 2: pay per views. I don't even watch the lead ups
- 23:02Speaker 2: to it, just what I see on TikTok or YouTube
- 23:06Speaker 2: or whatever. But let's talk about aw's All In pay
- 23:10Speaker 2: per view this weekend from London.
- 23:12Speaker 3: All right, so here we go.
- 23:14Speaker 2: AW All In will be live from Wembley Stadium in London,
- 23:19Speaker 2: England this weekend. If you are in the United States,
- 23:24Speaker 2: you will be watching the pay per view portion of
- 23:26Speaker 2: the show live at one pm Eastern, So if you're
- 23:31Speaker 2: at New York or anywhere on the East Coast, starts
- 23:33Speaker 2: at one o'clock. If you're in the Chicagoland area like me,
- 23:38Speaker 2: it's twelve o'clock. And then, of course you can also
- 23:41Speaker 2: catch the free live feed of the zero hour pre show,
- 23:45Speaker 2: which will begin at eleven am Eastern or ten am
- 23:49Speaker 2: Central time.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Here's the match lineup.
- 23:52Speaker 2: This is not in order, this is just how it
- 23:54Speaker 2: is on here and I will give my predictions. Swerve
- 23:58Speaker 2: Strickland Champion versus Daniel Brodh Brian Brian Danielson for the
- 24:03Speaker 2: AW World Championship title versus Career Daniel Brian's gonna lose
- 24:10Speaker 2: uh or Brian Danielson. Uh, he's gonna lose, and he's
- 24:14Speaker 2: gonna retire. He's already said he was going to retire
- 24:18Speaker 2: when Birdie hit a certain age, and she already did,
- 24:21Speaker 2: and he promised her he would retire and spend time
- 24:23Speaker 2: with her in the family. He's had enough of a career,
- 24:27Speaker 2: he's done enough. He will most likely end up in
- 24:30Speaker 2: the WWE Hall of Fame, and one day, AW when
- 24:34Speaker 2: they do a big Hall of Fame, he'll end up there.
- 24:37Speaker 3: So he will lose that match.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Swerves Strickland gets to win there. Mercedes Money the Champion
- 24:43Speaker 2: versus Britt Baker for the AW TBS Championship. I think
- 24:47Speaker 2: Britt Baker wins. I think Mercedes Mone had it long enough.
- 24:51Speaker 2: I think it's time to move in, So Brett Brett
- 24:54Speaker 2: Baker d m D I think wins it. And JF
- 24:59Speaker 2: Champion versus Willow Spray for the AW American Championship. MJF
- 25:04Speaker 2: just won it recently, so I say he will win
- 25:07Speaker 2: and retain and beat will in that one. Tony Storm
- 25:10Speaker 2: Champion versus Mariah May for the AW Women's World Championship.
- 25:15Speaker 2: I've got Tony Storm still champion in that one. The
- 25:19Speaker 2: Young Bucks Champion versus FTR versus the Acclaimed for the
- 25:23Speaker 2: AW World Tag Team Championship. I don't see the Young
- 25:27Speaker 2: Bucks losing yet, so I think they.
- 25:29Speaker 3: Will be the champions.
- 25:31Speaker 2: The Casino Gauntlet winner gets AW World Championship match. I
- 25:36Speaker 2: don't even know who's in the Gauntlet, so I guess
- 25:40Speaker 2: it's like a bunch of different people in it. So
- 25:42Speaker 2: I can't really give a prediction on that one. Jack
- 25:46Speaker 2: Perry Champion versus Darby Allen for the AW TNT Championship.
- 25:51Speaker 2: I got Jack Perry walking away with that one. Chris
- 25:54Speaker 2: Jericho Champion versus Hook for the FTW Championship. If Hook loses,
- 26:00Speaker 2: he cannot challenge Chris Jerco again for the title. I
- 26:02Speaker 2: think Hook is gonna beat him. I think Jericho is
- 26:05Speaker 2: gonna lose and walk out without the title. Let's see
- 26:12Speaker 2: the Patriarchy Champion versus Bang Bang Gang versus House of
- 26:17Speaker 2: Black versus two Be Determined for the AW World Trios Championship.
- 26:23Speaker 2: I mean, it's hard to say because I don't know
- 26:27Speaker 2: who the two Be Determined is gonna be. So I'll
- 26:31Speaker 2: go House of Black just for fun, just for funzies.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Like I said, I don't really know who to be
- 26:36Speaker 2: determined is gonna be uh, so it's hard to say uh.
- 26:40Speaker 2: And then Chris Statlander versus Stokely Hathaway versus Willow Nightingale
- 26:46Speaker 2: and Tora Hermoshi, I don't know who that is, but
- 26:52Speaker 2: this match is gonna be very featured on the Zero
- 26:55Speaker 2: Hour pre show. And I have Chris Statland and Stokely
- 27:01Speaker 2: has Away winning that one, but that one's gonna be free.
- 27:05Speaker 2: MMA Knockout on Sports Illustrated will be bringing you live
- 27:08Speaker 2: coverage of AW all In in twenty twenty four this Saturday.
- 27:13Speaker 2: Be sure to peep the homepage for line results and
- 27:16Speaker 2: video highlights.
- 27:17Speaker 3: So there you go.
- 27:18Speaker 2: That's AW all In. Hopefully they have a good one.
- 27:22Speaker 2: I'm not one of those people that want to see
- 27:23Speaker 2: AW fail. I'd like to see them go on. I
- 27:26Speaker 2: think it's good to have competition in wrestling. I think
- 27:30Speaker 2: TNA between TNA, AW and WWE, I think it's good.
- 27:34Speaker 2: I would love to see WW working maybe with AW
- 27:37Speaker 2: one day, but I don't know.
- 27:39Speaker 3: I don't think.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Triple H and Tony Khan can work together. I don't
- 27:43Speaker 2: like Tony Khan. I honestly believe that they should just
- 27:46Speaker 2: sell it. To somebody who really knows wrestling. The dad
- 27:50Speaker 2: don't give a shit. All he cares about is the Jaguars.
- 27:53Speaker 2: He's just there to fund his son. When he's done
- 27:56Speaker 2: funding his son, Tony Khan better make sure that he
- 27:59Speaker 2: could put up the money to keep this thing going
- 28:02Speaker 2: because they don't have great viewership. And it's evident in
- 28:06Speaker 2: the ratings. And I don't care what people say, ratings
- 28:10Speaker 2: count in wrestling or anything. If you don't have ratings,
- 28:16Speaker 2: no station's gonna want to pick you up. They want results.
- 28:20Speaker 2: This is why there's a ratings scale. Otherwise, put your
- 28:24Speaker 2: show on like HBO Max and stream it there, stream
- 28:29Speaker 2: all your pay per views there, do all that, just
- 28:31Speaker 2: like ww network does.
- 28:38Speaker 3: So yeah, so that's it for then let's move on now.
- 28:44Speaker 2: All right, So let's move on. We are done talking
- 28:48Speaker 2: about sports right now. Like I said, next week, we're
- 28:50Speaker 2: going to.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Talk more about football. We'll have the all in results
- 28:55Speaker 3: and we'll talk.
- 28:56Speaker 2: About of course WWE Bash and Berlin's Final card. But
- 29:00Speaker 2: let's move on to something that I found.
- 29:02Speaker 3: I watched the movie Clueless the other night.
- 29:04Speaker 2: I had a I get with Exfinity, the cable company.
- 29:11Speaker 2: I get like movies for like a dollar if I
- 29:14Speaker 2: get like a coupon, and I can watch any movie
- 29:17Speaker 2: under like five dollars for a dollar once in a while.
- 29:21Speaker 2: And so me and my wife we watched a movie Clueless.
- 29:26Speaker 2: It was a dollar.
- 29:28Speaker 3: I figured, why not. I love the movie.
- 29:31Speaker 2: I haven't seen it in a long time, and I
- 29:35Speaker 2: was looking up some stuff about it while the movie
- 29:36Speaker 2: was on, because it's been so long since I've seen it,
- 29:39Speaker 2: and it actually kind of cracks me up, because if
- 29:42Speaker 2: you think about it, AM very surprised this movie never
- 29:46Speaker 2: got canceled yet, because you know, Aleisi Silverstone in that
- 29:51Speaker 2: movie was only fifteen turning sixteen. Paul Rudd was a
- 29:56Speaker 2: college boy. I don't know what year in college. They
- 29:58Speaker 2: didn't really say, maybe a freshman, maybe a sophomore.
- 30:02Speaker 3: You looked like it was thirty in the movie.
- 30:04Speaker 2: He looks younger now than he did in that, but
- 30:09Speaker 2: the premise was he and her fell in love and
- 30:14Speaker 2: we're together. He was at least twenty one, maybe twenty
- 30:18Speaker 2: two at the time. Twenty like not in real life,
- 30:21Speaker 2: but like in the movie, and she was like sixteen.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Kind of weird. But I found twenty facts you might
- 30:29Speaker 2: not know about Clueless by now, you might know it
- 30:32Speaker 2: because this movie came out in nineteen ninety five, so.
- 30:35Speaker 3: I'm gonna read these to you.
- 30:36Speaker 2: It's based on a novel from a classic author. Clueless
- 30:41Speaker 2: is a wash in nineties culture and lingo and steeped
- 30:44Speaker 2: into the Beverly Hills era. Naturally, It's an adaptation of
- 30:49Speaker 2: an eighteen fifteen British novel no Really. Clueless is admittedly
- 30:54Speaker 2: loosely based on Jane Austen's classic Emma, which has gotten
- 30:58Speaker 2: more traditional adaptations starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Anna Taylor Joy
- 31:04Speaker 2: over the years. The project started off as a TV show.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Amy Heckerling, who wrote and directed Clueless, was asked about
- 31:12Speaker 2: by a twentieth Century Fox to bring them a TV show. Originally,
- 31:16Speaker 2: Clueless was going to be a TV pilot in the
- 31:18Speaker 2: ninety three season, but at the time it wasn't really Clueless.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Heckerling told The Telegraph in twenty fifteen that the studio
- 31:26Speaker 2: approached her because they wanted a show about teenagers, specifically
- 31:30Speaker 2: cool kids, and not nerds, which was basically The funny
- 31:34Speaker 2: thing is it was about cool kids that turned a
- 31:38Speaker 2: nerd into somebody cool, which was Brittany Murphy Heckerling went
- 31:43Speaker 2: back into her history to get the idea. It's easy
- 31:46Speaker 2: to see why the studio wanted Heckerling on the project.
- 31:50Speaker 2: She had made her name directing another iconic teen story,
- 31:53Speaker 2: Fast Times. At Ridgemond High. Heckerling reckoned that Jeff Spiccoli
- 31:58Speaker 2: was the most popular care character in anything she had
- 32:01Speaker 2: worked on, and in her mind, Spaccoli was well known,
- 32:05Speaker 2: well liked because he was positive. This gave her the
- 32:08Speaker 2: idea to create a character that was positive and happy,
- 32:11Speaker 2: and that was chaer Horowitz. The writer went to school
- 32:14Speaker 2: to study. While working on the screenplay, Heckerling went to
- 32:18Speaker 2: Beverly Hills High School to observe the students and add
- 32:21Speaker 2: authenticity to her script. One thing she noticed that the
- 32:25Speaker 2: girls in the school were in a constant state of grooming,
- 32:28Speaker 2: which they did in the movie too. Fox gave up
- 32:31Speaker 2: on the movie. Eventually, Heckerling's project went from a pilot
- 32:35Speaker 2: to an entire film, initially titled No Worries. Executives that
- 32:39Speaker 2: Fox weren't happy with it, though, according to Heckerling's friends
- 32:42Speaker 2: and collaborator Twin Kaplan, they thought, oh, who plays miss
- 32:46Speaker 2: Geist in the movie. They thought the story was too
- 32:49Speaker 2: female focused for a wide audience. Clueless went in to
- 32:53Speaker 2: turnaround on Fox, leaving it effectively dead as a project.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Then producer Scott Rudden on the script and got behind it.
- 33:01Speaker 2: After a bidding war, the movie ended up at Paramount.
- 33:05Speaker 2: A lot of actresses were considered for Share when Fox
- 33:07Speaker 2: was developing the project. They banded about actresses like Angelina, Jolie,
- 33:14Speaker 2: Carrie Russell, and Alicia went for the lead role of Share.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Heckerling also met with Rhese Witherspoon for the part. In
- 33:20Speaker 2: the end, none of them got the role. Heckerling took
- 33:24Speaker 2: a gamble on a relative unknown before being cast as Share.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Alicia Silverstone was best known as that girl from that
- 33:31Speaker 2: one Aerosmith video. She only had one film, The Crush,
- 33:35Speaker 2: to her name. However, Heckerling had seen the video for Crying,
- 33:39Speaker 2: and like Silverstone for Share. The studio put no pressure
- 33:42Speaker 2: on Heckerling to cast a no name, so Silverstone won
- 33:46Speaker 2: the part. That's actually funny because I didn't know her
- 33:49Speaker 2: first movie was The Crush. I thought it was Clueless,
- 33:54Speaker 2: But The Crush was actually a really good movie with
- 33:57Speaker 2: her and Carrie Uliz and I'm have to watch it now.
- 34:00Speaker 2: About a girl who the guy moves in to an
- 34:05Speaker 2: apartment above the garage for her family they like rented
- 34:09Speaker 2: out to him, and she starts falling for him. Well,
- 34:12Speaker 2: she's like fifteen years old and he's an adult, and
- 34:16Speaker 2: she tries to get with him, and he has like
- 34:19Speaker 2: a girlfriend and she tries to break them up. It's
- 34:22Speaker 2: a crazy movie, great movie. Though there was competition for
- 34:27Speaker 2: the role of Josh as well. A young Paul Rudd
- 34:29Speaker 2: ended up playing Josh, leading to a good two decades
- 34:32Speaker 2: of people comparing photos of Rudd now to Rud that
- 34:36Speaker 2: has proof that he simply does not age. We could
- 34:39Speaker 2: have missed out on the opportunity. Ben Aflck and Zach
- 34:43Speaker 2: Braff auditioned to play Josh. Two Scher's dad had some
- 34:46Speaker 2: big names in the mix too. Imagine a version of
- 34:49Speaker 2: Clueless where Harvey Kaitel plays mel Horowitz. Apparently he was considered,
- 34:54Speaker 2: which would have made for a very different film. Jerry
- 34:57Speaker 2: Obrock was also in consideration, but Dan Hidea ultimately ended
- 35:02Speaker 2: up with the role. Let's turn through some other celebrity casting.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Terrence Howard and Dave Chappelle were reportedly in the mix
- 35:10Speaker 2: to play Murray, a role that went to Donald fazen
- 35:14Speaker 2: Seth Green was considered for Travis brecken Meyer's role, which
- 35:19Speaker 2: was very fitting for the era. Alana Erbeck was up
- 35:22Speaker 2: to play Tie, but Brittany Murphy got the part. Notably,
- 35:26Speaker 2: since Murphy was still only seventeen, she had to have
- 35:29Speaker 2: a guardian on set, so she actually was around the
- 35:33Speaker 2: age of what she was playing. Everybody else I think
- 35:36Speaker 2: was like in their early twenties or something. One character
- 35:39Speaker 2: was inspired by real life in multiple ways. Wallace Shawn's
- 35:42Speaker 2: character mister Hall was inspired by a real debate teacher
- 35:46Speaker 2: at Beverly Hills High School. However, Sean had some inspiration
- 35:50Speaker 2: of his own before his acting career took off. Sean
- 35:52Speaker 2: had worked as a teacher. He was able to tap
- 35:55Speaker 2: into his personal experiences.
- 35:57Speaker 3: See this is why I.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Like doing this, because this is stuff that people don't
- 36:01Speaker 2: know about the movie. Stacy Dash was older than her cohorts.
- 36:06Speaker 2: It's not uncommon for a teenager to be played by
- 36:08Speaker 2: an older actor. By and large, the actors and clueless
- 36:12Speaker 2: around the age they are playing. As we noted, Murphy
- 36:14Speaker 2: was only seventeen when filming began. Even Rudd, who plays
- 36:18Speaker 2: a college student, was twenty five. Dash was a bit
- 36:21Speaker 2: older than her character Dion, though she was twenty nine
- 36:24Speaker 2: at the time. That's hilarious because she played a really
- 36:27Speaker 2: good sixteen year old. It's crazy if you think about it.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Christian Austin counterpart is notably different. The analog to Christian
- 36:35Speaker 2: and Amma is Frank Churchill. I'm on, Frank can't be
- 36:39Speaker 2: together in the book because Frank is secretly already engaged
- 36:43Speaker 2: with a high school story that doesn't work as believable complication,
- 36:47Speaker 2: Christian was turned into a gay character to keep him
- 36:49Speaker 2: and share a part. A rare La weather phenomenon changed
- 36:53Speaker 2: the plans when filming in La. It's understandable if you
- 36:57Speaker 2: don't prepare for rain during the filming a clueless, though
- 37:00Speaker 2: the weather ended up changing things. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones
- 37:03Speaker 2: performance in the film was supposed to be outdoors, but
- 37:07Speaker 2: then La was hit with the rain that day that
- 37:10Speaker 2: this meant having to move things indoors. Rudd was happy
- 37:15Speaker 2: to be part of the experience. Rudd had done some
- 37:19Speaker 2: TV work before nineteen ninety five, but his first two
- 37:22Speaker 2: films came out that year. He was also in Halloween
- 37:25Speaker 2: six to Curse of Michael Myers. The opportunity seemed to
- 37:28Speaker 2: be appreciated by the young actor. He bought gifts for
- 37:32Speaker 2: his fellow cast members after filming wrapped. According to Jen
- 37:35Speaker 2: Cheney's twenty fifteen book As If, The Oral History of Clueless,
- 37:40Speaker 2: as told by Aby Heckerling, the cast and the crew,
- 37:44Speaker 2: it was a surprise hit. The executives at Fox that
- 37:47Speaker 2: passed on Clueless were worried about nothing. The film debuted
- 37:50Speaker 2: second at the box office, and it would end up
- 37:53Speaker 2: making fifty six point six million off a twelve million
- 37:56Speaker 2: dollar budget. It was also a critical hit. The movie
- 38:00Speaker 2: has an eighty one percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and
- 38:03Speaker 2: Robert or Roger Ebert gave it three and a half stars.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Heckerling and Silverstone would reunite. Heckerling helped break Silverstone as
- 38:12Speaker 2: a star, and they would work together many years later.
- 38:15Speaker 2: In twenty twelve, Heckerling wrote and director of the vampire
- 38:18Speaker 2: comedy Vamps. It starred Silverstone and also had Sean Up
- 38:22Speaker 2: in the role. Clues has inspired a lot of other culture. Clearly,
- 38:28Speaker 2: this movie struck a chord with people. It spawned a
- 38:30Speaker 2: series of books in the nineties aimed at teenage readers.
- 38:33Speaker 2: A comic book series debuted in twenty seventeen. There was
- 38:36Speaker 2: a computer game released in two thousand and nine. Perhaps
- 38:40Speaker 2: most notably, though, there was a musical written in part
- 38:42Speaker 2: by Heckelberg that debuted off Broadway in New York Alas
- 38:47Speaker 2: It Wasn't Meant to be. The show opened on December eleven,
- 38:50Speaker 2: twenty eighteen, and closed one month later. And finally, eventually,
- 38:54Speaker 2: there was a TV show fitting for the movie that
- 38:59Speaker 2: began life as a TV pilot. Clueless would eventually be
- 39:03Speaker 2: turned into a TV show and debuted on ABC's TGIF
- 39:07Speaker 2: lineup for its first season before moving to UPN for
- 39:11Speaker 2: two final seasons. Some cast members made the jump from
- 39:14Speaker 2: the film to the show, but Silverstone was replaced as
- 39:17Speaker 2: share by Rachel Blanchard and that was it. That TV
- 39:22Speaker 2: show didn't last long. I did watch it back in
- 39:24Speaker 2: the day. It was pretty good and most of the
- 39:27Speaker 2: let's see who returned for it. Hold on, let's see
- 39:29Speaker 2: really quick, let me go to the old Google machine.
- 39:33Speaker 2: All right, So here we go. It was on in
- 39:35Speaker 2: nineteen ninety six. It lasted for three seasons. Here was
- 39:38Speaker 2: the cast of the show, and you're gonna hear a
- 39:41Speaker 2: lot of the names from the original movie in the show,
- 39:45Speaker 2: Rachel Blanchard played cher Horowitz because Alicia Silverstone didn't want
- 39:49Speaker 2: to do it. Stacy Dash came back as Dion Davenport.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Alicia Donovan came back as Amber. Donald Fazyon came back
- 39:57Speaker 2: as Murray. Julie Brown came back as the as coach
- 40:01Speaker 2: Millie Demir. Sean Holland played Shawn Holland in the TV
- 40:06Speaker 2: show and the movie. David last Year played John Lucas
- 40:10Speaker 2: or Josh Lucas.
- 40:11Speaker 3: So Josh but.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Here you want to see something funny, wait for the
- 40:16Speaker 2: ending of this. Brittany Murphy came back as Jasmine, which
- 40:21Speaker 2: she was in Jasmine in the movie, but I think
- 40:25Speaker 2: it was the same role, just a different name. Brecken
- 40:29Speaker 2: Meyer came back as Harrison. Doug Shean was mel Horowitz.
- 40:34Speaker 2: Twin Kaplan came back as Missus geist Hall because they
- 40:38Speaker 2: got married at the end. Wallace Shawn came back as
- 40:42Speaker 2: mister alphons Hall. Heather Heather got a Gotlin Kane's back.
- 40:50Speaker 2: It came in as Tie. So it's actually funny because
- 40:57Speaker 2: Brittany Murphy came back as Jazz and then another girl
- 41:03Speaker 2: played Tie, which was originally Britney Murphy's character, Christine Rose
- 41:07Speaker 2: was Madame Mumford. Paul Rudd came back as Sonny, so
- 41:13Speaker 2: Paul Rudd did not come back as Josh, and Brittany
- 41:19Speaker 2: Murphy didn't come back as Tie. They came back to
- 41:22Speaker 2: the series, but as different characters.
- 41:24Speaker 3: So I don't know if that means.
- 41:25Speaker 2: They weren't on the full series or if they just
- 41:28Speaker 2: came in for a little bit of it. But it's
- 41:32Speaker 2: actually really crazy if you think about it, the cluelest
- 41:37Speaker 2: TV show. I'm gonna have to watch it. I wonder
- 41:39Speaker 2: if you could find it somewhere. There was only sixty
- 41:41Speaker 2: two episodes of it, So let's see how many episodes
- 41:45Speaker 2: everybody was in, because usually they'll tell you under the cast,
- 41:49Speaker 2: So I'm just wondering if, like maybe a couple of
- 41:52Speaker 2: them just the cameos. So let's see, all right, So
- 41:57Speaker 2: here we go top cast. So Rachel Blanchard played Chaer
- 42:03Speaker 2: sixty two episodes, Stacy Dash played Dionne sixty two episodes.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Donald Facin's Murray did sixty two, Alisia Donovans Amber did
- 42:13Speaker 2: sixty two, Sean Holliday did sixty two. Mel Horowitz was
- 42:18Speaker 2: in forty four from ninety seven to ninety nine. The
- 42:24Speaker 2: one that played Josh was in eighteen episodes. Ms Geist
- 42:28Speaker 2: was in eighteen episodes. Mister Wallace was in eighteen of them.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Let's see. Yeah, see, I'm looking down the list. Brittany
- 42:41Speaker 2: Murphy was only in Wow, she was not been in
- 42:52Speaker 2: many at all. Looks like she just did it like
- 42:55Speaker 2: a cameo. Yeah.
- 42:57Speaker 3: I don't even see Paul Rudd on here.
- 43:03Speaker 2: So yeah, they were only in like one episode each,
- 43:07Speaker 2: so yeah, they really did it. Yeah, Brittany Murphy as
- 43:09Speaker 2: Jasmine one episode. Sherman Hemsley was in as Murray's grandpa
- 43:14Speaker 2: in one episode. Nicole Eggert was in one episode. Let's see,
- 43:22Speaker 2: I'm looking through see if there's any other big names
- 43:26Speaker 2: in here. Gabrielle Union was in one episode in nineteen
- 43:30Speaker 2: ninety nine, Let's see, because I don't think this followed
- 43:40Speaker 2: them through high school. This might have been after the
- 43:44Speaker 2: movie type thing. Yeah, I don't even see Paul Oh
- 43:50Speaker 2: Harry is Paul Rudd one episode as Sonny in nineteen
- 43:53Speaker 2: ninety six, So yeah, there was a couple of them
- 43:56Speaker 2: that made cameos. Warren g was in there as I
- 44:00Speaker 2: Cap one episode, so yeah, that's crazy. So yeah, let's
- 44:05Speaker 2: you know, crazy to look back at that, and I
- 44:10Speaker 2: forgot there was a TV show, but I did watch it.
- 44:13Speaker 2: There was a Super Bowl commercial with Alicia Silverstone too.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Makes you wonder if they're gonna come back with another movie.
- 44:18Speaker 3: I here's a premise.
- 44:19Speaker 2: I would love if they made a sequel to Clueless,
- 44:22Speaker 2: have Share and Josh's daughter, have them have a daughter
- 44:27Speaker 2: and she's in high school, you know, and stuff like that.
- 44:31Speaker 2: That'd be pretty cool too. All right, So let's move
- 44:34Speaker 2: on to movies that were at the box office last week,
- 44:38Speaker 2: and then we are done for the day. But let's
- 44:40Speaker 2: do this really quick. Let's see what movies are out
- 44:45Speaker 2: in the theaters last week and where they did. Let's
- 44:49Speaker 2: see what movies stayed on.
- 44:50Speaker 3: Top, all right.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Number ten was Borderlands. It did two point four million,
- 44:56Speaker 2: fourteen million total gross in two weeks. Number one nine
- 45:00Speaker 2: Woman two Tara the Headless did two point six million
- 45:05Speaker 2: total girls and weekend gross and one week out UH
- 45:09Speaker 2: number eight Inside Out two did three point five million
- 45:12Speaker 2: for a total gross of six hundred and forty three million,
- 45:15Speaker 2: and ten weeks. The movie Trapped by m Night. Shyamalan
- 45:18Speaker 2: came out at number seven UH weekend gross of three
- 45:22Speaker 2: point five million, total gross of thirty six million and
- 45:25Speaker 2: three weeks. Number six Despicable Me four, still in the
- 45:30Speaker 2: top six. Weekend gross of six point three million, did
- 45:33Speaker 2: three hundred and forty three million and seven weeks. Coraline
- 45:39Speaker 2: did nine point six million weekend gross, but it did
- 45:44Speaker 2: a total gross of ninety nine million dollars in one week.
- 45:49Speaker 2: I don't understand that, but I guess that's international. Twisters
- 45:54Speaker 2: came in at number four with a weekend gross of
- 45:57Speaker 2: ten million, did two hundred and forty one million in
- 46:00Speaker 2: five weeks. Not bad. The number three movie, which was
- 46:04Speaker 2: number two last week. It ends with Us, which is
- 46:07Speaker 2: Blake Lively. That's obviously remember remember this that is Ryan
- 46:13Speaker 2: Reynolds's wife. Her movie did twenty four million last weekend,
- 46:17Speaker 2: and that's second week, and it's done one hundred and
- 46:19Speaker 2: four million total at the box office. Number two finally
- 46:24Speaker 2: knocked out at number one. Deadpool and Wolverine did thirty
- 46:29Speaker 2: million last weekend, still at number two, a total gross
- 46:33Speaker 2: of fifty four million dollars in four weeks out. I'm
- 46:38Speaker 2: gonna compare it again and you're gonna look at this,
- 46:42Speaker 2: but number one at the box office last week. Everybody
- 46:46Speaker 2: knew this is gonna happen. Alien Romulus came in at
- 46:50Speaker 2: number one forty two million dollars in the opening weekend
- 46:55Speaker 2: uh total gross of fifty one million and one week.
- 46:59Speaker 2: So pretty decent start for Alien Romulus. But Deadpool Wolverine okay,
- 47:05Speaker 2: five hundred and fifty four million in four weeks out.
- 47:09Speaker 2: It's only been out for four weeks. Three of the
- 47:11Speaker 2: four was number one. The Not Despicable Me Inside Out
- 47:17Speaker 2: two in ten weeks has done six hundred and forty
- 47:20Speaker 2: three million, and in ten weeks out, that's six weeks
- 47:27Speaker 2: longer than what Deadpool Wolverine's been out. Deadpool and Wolverine
- 47:33Speaker 2: is almost at that total. If it has another three
- 47:40Speaker 2: weeks at thirty million dollars or more, it could catch
- 47:46Speaker 2: The Despicable Me or Not Despicable Me Inside Out Too
- 47:50Speaker 2: Despicable Me. It's already eclipsed that one, and that's been
- 47:54Speaker 2: out seven weeks. Crazy crazy box offices summer. I mean,
- 48:01Speaker 2: look at these movies. Alien Romulus came in at fifty
- 48:05Speaker 2: one million in its first weekend total gross. You've got
- 48:09Speaker 2: Deadpool and Wolverine at half a billion already, You've got
- 48:13Speaker 2: it ends with US and two weeks did one hundred
- 48:16Speaker 2: and four million, Twisters in five weeks did two hundred
- 48:19Speaker 2: and forty one. You've got this Coreline movie apparently doing
- 48:23Speaker 2: ninety nine million in its first week. You got Despicable be
- 48:26Speaker 2: four that did three hundred and forty three million in
- 48:29Speaker 2: seven weeks. You've got Inside Out two that did six
- 48:33Speaker 2: hundred and forty three million and ten, and then you
- 48:36Speaker 2: still had Bad Boys four, which ended up making a
- 48:41Speaker 2: lot of money too.
- 48:43Speaker 3: Let's see trying to see if there's uh no, you
- 48:50Speaker 3: can't do.
- 48:53Speaker 2: Let's see monthly, yearly, Maybe.
- 49:03Speaker 3: Nope, you can't do it.
- 49:05Speaker 2: But I don't know how much Bad Boys made at
- 49:07Speaker 2: the box office, but it was pretty much up there too.
- 49:09Speaker 2: So next week we're gonna see what is gonna be
- 49:13Speaker 2: at number one? Will Alien Romulus stay, will Dead Pull
- 49:17Speaker 2: a Wolverine get its way back in there? Or will
- 49:20Speaker 2: Blake Lively come in and have a great weekend this weekend?
- 49:23Speaker 2: We'll see next week what's gonna happen there. We'll see
- 49:26Speaker 2: if number one gets taken over by this week's big
- 49:29Speaker 2: movie that's coming out. Another Crow movie is coming out
- 49:32Speaker 2: with Bill Skarsgard as the Crow, So we'll see how
- 49:36Speaker 2: that movie does. Remember, people love movies that are re
- 49:39Speaker 2: releases or possibly you know, like a remake type thing.
- 49:47Speaker 2: I don't really know much about the Crow movie that's
- 49:51Speaker 2: coming out. I don't know if it's another one or
- 49:53Speaker 2: if it's just like a remake of the original ones
- 49:57Speaker 2: or something. But yeah, I mean it's gonna do big
- 50:00Speaker 2: just because people like the Crow, so people will go
- 50:02Speaker 2: see it and then don't forget it.
- 50:04Speaker 3: A couple of weeks.
- 50:04Speaker 2: We've got Beetle Juice coming out, Beetle Juice, Beetlejuice, the
- 50:08Speaker 2: sequel to the original. So I mean there's a lot
- 50:11Speaker 2: of good movies coming out, you know, and stuff in
- 50:14Speaker 2: the next few weeks, so we'll see, you know, this
- 50:17Speaker 2: has been a big year for movies, though, a big,
- 50:20Speaker 2: big year for movies at the box office. I think
- 50:22Speaker 2: this is the biggest year we've had since COVID, since
- 50:25Speaker 2: before COVID, and I think people for a while we're
- 50:29Speaker 2: a little skeptical about going to the theater because of everything.
- 50:32Speaker 2: But I think people are pretty much back to full
- 50:36Speaker 2: going to the movies and stuff. I've seen a few
- 50:39Speaker 2: in the theater.
- 50:39Speaker 3: It's just expensive though. I mean, by the time you.
- 50:42Speaker 2: Go with four people if you got kids, and you
- 50:46Speaker 2: buy tickets and then you buy either dinner there, depending
- 50:50Speaker 2: on where you go, because you've got a lot of
- 50:51Speaker 2: dinner theaters now and they have drinks there and stuff,
- 50:55Speaker 2: so people want to have a drink at the bar
- 50:57Speaker 2: and while they're watching the movie or whatever, and then
- 51:00Speaker 2: people eat regular dinner, or you go to the theater,
- 51:02Speaker 2: you still buy popcorn and pop It still costs a
- 51:05Speaker 2: lot of money, especially if you've got a family of
- 51:07Speaker 2: four or five, like you know, our house, it's five
- 51:11Speaker 2: of us, you know, and my mother in law lives
- 51:13Speaker 2: with us, and she, I mean, she pays her own way,
- 51:16Speaker 2: but it does. It costs a lot to go to
- 51:18Speaker 2: a movie nowadays. So a lot of times, if it's
- 51:21Speaker 2: not something that I really really want to see in
- 51:23Speaker 2: the theater, I'll wait till it streams. I'll pay twenty
- 51:26Speaker 2: bucks at home on my cable, and I'll watch it
- 51:30Speaker 2: at home because at least twenty bucks at home, I
- 51:34Speaker 2: don't have to spend as much on snacks because twenty dollars,
- 51:39Speaker 2: you know, if it was four people, that's five dollars
- 51:42Speaker 2: a piece for a movie, and then you could watch it.
- 51:47Speaker 2: But even if you go, like me and my wife
- 51:49Speaker 2: would go to a nighttime movie. We're paying ten dollars
- 51:53Speaker 2: to get in regular price, depending where you go. Some
- 51:56Speaker 2: places are even more than that. Some now are like
- 51:59Speaker 2: fifteen dollars a ticket. So that's thirty dollars. So I
- 52:02Speaker 2: could save ten dollars and watch it at.
- 52:04Speaker 3: Home and have my own snacks and my own.
- 52:06Speaker 2: Liquor that I bought and not have to pay for
- 52:10Speaker 2: overpriced stuff. So yeah, a lot of times I'll watch
- 52:14Speaker 2: at home, but if it's a movie I really want
- 52:16Speaker 2: to see, I'll go to the movies. We just went
- 52:18Speaker 2: and saw Twisters, and then we saw something else in
- 52:21Speaker 2: the theater. We want to go maybe to Sea Beetlejuice Durings.
- 52:25Speaker 2: You know, sometime in September, when we get a little
- 52:28Speaker 2: extra money, we'll go to see Beetlejuice in the theater.
- 52:30Speaker 2: But you know, like I said, it's got to be
- 52:33Speaker 2: a special movie for that. But I'm gonna take off.
- 52:37Speaker 2: I hope everybody has a great weekend. Labor Day is
- 52:41Speaker 2: actually the week after next week already. It's crazy to
- 52:46Speaker 2: think about we're gonna be at Labor Day already. So
- 52:49Speaker 2: next week, when I do my show, that's the final
- 52:52Speaker 2: show August.
- 52:54Speaker 3: That's gonna be right, that's Labor Day weekend.
- 52:56Speaker 2: So yeah, next Thursday, we got a lot to talk about.
- 52:59Speaker 3: We got the.
- 53:00Speaker 2: New releases for Netflix and all the streaming services. We've
- 53:04Speaker 2: got talking about all in we'll have all the results
- 53:08Speaker 2: the final week of preseason. We'll talk about who won
- 53:10Speaker 2: those games, and we'll talk about the regular season. We
- 53:13Speaker 2: got a lot to talk about next week. So I'm
- 53:15Speaker 2: gonna take off for now. I'll see everybody later. Hopefully
- 53:19Speaker 2: everybody has a great weekend.
- 53:20Speaker 3: Enjoy it.
- 53:21Speaker 2: We only got a few more weekends left a summer
- 53:24Speaker 2: before it is unofficially and officially over and we get
- 53:28Speaker 2: in a spooky season. So make sure you follow me
