- 0:00They're going to have a ton of money to spend.
- 0:01Why not putting in one of the top three offensive players in
- 0:05the league? We're going to be looking at
- 0:14Aaron Judge and saying that he can't win the big game, Michael
- 0:17Jordan said. I played 82 games.
- 0:20You don't see the fun doing that a game.
- 0:22Where you got to go? For four.
- 0:24I told you, giant feet, Saquon Barkley at this
- 1:33631-672-3108 is the number to call.
- 1:41You're listening to just the mouth tonight.
- 1:44I'm just kidding. Jabba and the mouth.
- 1:47The mouth is here. Jabba is not.
- 1:50He's moved into his new house. He know he has no fiber optics,
- 1:54no Internet. So he might join us tonight.
- 1:56He might not. But you do have me.
- 1:59You have Speedy. You got the fish.
- 2:02You got the board up man himself.
- 2:04Mr. Tommy. Poop Scoop.

- 2:31Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we do not have Jabba tonight as far as
- 2:34I know. We don't know if he's going to
- 2:36pop in. He might be hanging out in his
- 2:39his bed on his phone. He might be hanging out in his
- 2:41office. He might be hanging out in his
- 2:43damn car. I don't know.
- 2:45He's been moving for the last three days, actually four days
- 2:48from from one house to another house to another house, 3
- 2:52houses. Just think about it.
- 2:53He moved his father's house, he moved his house and now he's in
- 2:58his new house. SO3 houses, ladies and
- 3:01gentlemen. And the great Jabba Chamberlain
- 3:03did not hire any movement. No, no, no move guys, no
- 3:07nothing. It's just Jabba and himself.
- 3:10So I, I'm sure he has a, a bad back or bad hips and he did lose
- 3:17a little bit of weight. So maybe he's a little bit more
- 3:19conditioned to do that. I don't know.
- 3:21We're going to have to ask Jabba when he comes in next week or,
- 3:25and maybe a little bit later in the show, Who knows, it might be
- 3:26a surprise. I'm sure he's listening to the
- 3:28show right now. The Seattle Mariners head into
- 3:31Game 3 action tonight at home in T-Mobile Park with a 2 nothing
- 3:37series lead over the Toronto Blue Jays in the LCALCS.
- 3:42The Mariners won game one by a score of three to 1 led by two
- 3:46hits including a home run from Cal Raleigh.
- 3:50The Mariners then also won Game 2 on the road in a blowout 2:50
- 3:55powered by both Julio Rodriguez and Jorge Polanco hitting three
- 4:01run home runs and Josh Naylor hitting A2 run shot.
- 4:06After dominating against the Yankees, both Dalton VAR Show
- 4:10and Vladimir Guerrero Junior have been held hitless in the
- 4:14series so far. The Blue Jays will hope to get a
- 4:17better hitting better hitting behind tonight's starter Shane
- 4:21Bieber as they face off against George Kirby for the Mariners in
- 4:29a must win game. In Game 3 with Toronto on the
- 4:32road, the Dodgers have a 2 nothing lead over the Brewers in
- 4:36a NLC. NLCS led by two dominant
- 4:41starting pitching performances. In game one, it was Blake Snell
- 4:45who dominated with eight scoreless innings, allowing one
- 4:49hit, zero walks and 10 strikeouts in A21 win in game #2
- 4:54it was Yamamoto throwing a complete game, allowing just one
- 4:58run on a home run by Jackson Cheerio, allowing just three
- 5:02hits and one walk with a while striking out seven.
- 5:08In the current ALCS and MLCS format since 1969, teams that
- 5:12have gone up to nothing in the series have won the series 84%
- 5:17of the time. I don't think the Blue Jays
- 5:23stand a chance. I, I don't, I know everybody's
- 5:26going to sit here and tell me, well, look what they did to the
- 5:29Yankees. The Yankees don't have enough
- 5:32depth in the lineup. I've said this many, many times,
- 5:35the Mariners do. The Mariners added Naylor in the
- 5:40offseason. They added a third baseman at
- 5:43the trade deadline that can hit for pop, even though he hasn't
- 5:47really hit that much in the playoffs.
- 5:49Julio Rodriguez is one of the best power hitters and young
- 5:52power hitters in baseball. And they have Cal Rally who's up
- 5:56for MVP. He's one of the best defensive
- 5:59players at his position since, I mean, you can argue Rodriguez.
- 6:05This is a good team. This is a team that is playing
- 6:10on all cylinders, not playing on one or two.
- 6:13They're playing on all six cylinders and they're putting
- 6:19the ball in play. They're not just hitting for
- 6:21power, they're hitting for average.
- 6:25They can pitch. They got a great rotation,
- 6:28they're ball pen and was one of the top five in the league this
- 6:31year and they're consistent every game.
- 6:39And when you're consistent like this and and they're the
- 6:41Mariners manager should be up for manager of the year.
- 6:44Is that a sensational year, especially in the second-half of
- 6:47the season? The turn around that the
- 6:49Mariners had in the second-half was sensational and they always
- 6:51do. This team might be the only team
- 6:55that can challenge the Dodgers right now.
- 6:58We thought it was the Phillies and the Dodgers.
- 7:00The Phillies, we saw what what the Dodgers, man, the Dodgers
- 7:05manhandle the Phillies, even though it went to, what, five
- 7:08games, four games, four games And that absolute debacle of,
- 7:12you know, an error by the pitcher, by Philadelphia that
- 7:17ended the series. The Dodgers are the best team in
- 7:23the playoffs. The Dodgers have been the best
- 7:25team in the league since the beginning of the season.
- 7:28They've been fighting injury after injury.
- 7:31Otani didn't pitch until the second-half of the season.
- 7:36Now you have Sasaki in the bullpen who is untouchable.
- 7:39You can't even hit the guy. Honestly, they should stick
- 7:42Sasaki in the bullpen and leave him there.
- 7:44He should be the closer. Then they'll be almost
- 7:47impossible to beat. The Dodgers are the best team in
- 7:54baseball. It's not even close.
- 7:57Their roster from top to bottom, defensively, offensively, their
- 8:00bullpen. Look at the bullpen arms they
- 8:02brought in. They brought in three closers
- 8:04from three different teams that could have been closers on three
- 8:07different teams this year, and they were hurt.
- 8:12Now they're healthy. How are they going to be beaten?
- 8:18And the Brewers have been the best team in a league all season
- 8:20long. They're one of the best young
- 8:22teams in baseball right now. Well deserved.
- 8:25This is the first NLCS they've been in and.
- 8:27How long? 2018 But they also lost the
- 8:30Dodgers. This is a team in the Brewers
- 8:37that have a great future, just not now.
- 8:41This Dodger team is destined to go on a run like the Yankees did
- 8:46in the 90s where they could win two or three championships or
- 8:49win three out of the next 5 championships like the San
- 8:52Francisco Giants. They're that good.
- 8:57It's not fair. A lot of people going to
- 8:59complain and as Jabba says, every team can do it.
- 9:02Nick Goody says it too. Every team can do it.
- 9:06You want to defer money, you can defer money.
- 9:08Nobody said that you can, but the Dodgers figured it out.
- 9:12Well, the Dodgers knew about it and and a lot of teams knew
- 9:15about it for years. Just like Madden decided to use
- 9:19the shift. It's been around since the 60s
- 9:21and the 50s brought it into the league again and and absolutely
- 9:25dominated with the Tampa Bay Rays for the years that he was
- 9:27there as the manager and people complaining and bitching.
- 9:31And what did baseball do? They banished it because nobody
- 9:35liked it, including yours truly. I.
- 9:37Didn't I? Was going to say you were like
- 9:38one of the biggest advocates. I like it, you know, But right
- 9:43now, if there's any team that could beat the Dodgers, it's the
- 9:47Mariners. You don't want to see the Blue
- 9:49Jays play the Dodgers. And that goes, that's going to
- 9:52go 5, five games, four games, the bad five games, the most
- 9:56four games if if the Dodgers completely dominate.
- 10:00Yamamoto is been sensational over the last past year.
- 10:05When he came into the league, he was a deer in the headlights.
- 10:07He was up and down the second-half of the season when
- 10:11he came into the league, he was very good.
- 10:13The first half he was horrible. I remember he's figured it out.
- 10:19The Dodgers paid him a lot of money and now you have next year
- 10:25you have Otani Sasaki and Yamamoto, Blake Snell and Glass
- 10:30now as five guys in your rotation.
- 10:35And that's not counting the some of the youngsters that they have
- 10:37that they called up in their farm system.
- 10:39We have one of them that just had Tommy John surgery too.
- 10:41That a pretty damn good too. It's it's just a bag of riches.
- 10:47Am I surprised? Not at all.
- 10:51Am I upset? Absolutely.
- 10:53Am I? Am I going to predict that
- 10:55they're going to win a championship next year if nobody
- 10:58or no team makes a huge run out of bunch of players?
- 11:01I would say yes. I, I mean, they're and I want to
- 11:06hear of the Mets played them in the first round.
- 11:08They would have beaten them. Stop it guys.
- 11:10Stop it. And that's that's we're lucky to
- 11:13just even squeak. In Why?
- 11:14Because the Mets were five and one against him this year.
- 11:16Yeah, and the Brewers were six and oh.
- 11:17Six and oh against them. The Brewers were the best team
- 11:20in the league all season long. They dominated teams all season
- 11:25long. They had one bad skid where they
- 11:28out of like 11 games they they lost like 8 or 7 of them.
- 11:31Yeah, like early August, I think.
- 11:33Then the Padre, I think tied them in the division at one
- 11:35point and there was a chance that they pulled ahead for a
- 11:37little bit. Then they went cold and
- 11:38obviously the Dodgers were fine after that.
- 11:40It's just honestly, you want, if you're a baseball thing, you
- 11:44want to see the Mariners, you want to see the Dodgers, you
- 11:46want to see Cal rally versus Shay Ohtani, 2 guys that are up
- 11:50for MVPS and respectable conferences, respectable, you
- 11:55know, standings from the National, National League and
- 11:57American League. Yeah, and you also look at that
- 12:00team that's very complete too with the Mariners, like you
- 12:02said, that they can do some of the things pitching wise that
- 12:06the Dodgers can do when it comes to their rotation once it gets
- 12:08healthy too. George Kirby you were talking
- 12:10about is like one of the best pitchers we've seen recently in
- 12:13elimination games and obviously pitched very well against the
- 12:15Tigers out didn't out duel school, but pitched just as well
- 12:19and kept them in that game and obviously they won an extra
- 12:21innings. They're their best pitcher from
- 12:22the regular season was hurt all year or hurt at the end of the
- 12:25year. And Brian Woo, he hasn't even
- 12:26pitched yet. And now with the Mariners having
- 12:27a 2O lead in this series, they can even be more cautious with
- 12:30him and don't have to bring him in anywhere.
- 12:32You have Logan Gilbert, you have like you said, a good bullpen,
- 12:34top five in the second-half of the season, top ten in baseball
- 12:37bullpen and finally have the line of depth to compensate for
- 12:40that too. And also two guys that played
- 12:42for Arizona that know the Dodgers with Suarez and with
- 12:45Naylor, guys that have experience against them, get the
- 12:47scouting reports on them. The problem with the Brewers in
- 12:49this series is they just haven't been able to get to the Dodgers
- 12:52weakness part, which has been their bullpen throughout the
- 12:54year. They've been rocky.
- 12:55Like you said, the closers they brought in have been better but
- 12:57not great. And overall this season a lot of
- 12:59them had four plus Eras. A lot of them had injury issues.
- 13:02Will they be able to recover that same way?
- 13:04As another question, Sasaki, they decide to be creative with
- 13:06their transformer no closer. It's been working on them so
- 13:08far. And now you look at a team like
- 13:11the Dodgers having full power, that's going to be hard to stop.
- 13:14Seattle, though, is the only thing that can make sense
- 13:16because they have the power. They have the ability to get on
- 13:19base the way they do. And you talk about Cal rally
- 13:20like he had two home runs, but he's also been getting on base
- 13:24too. Like he in the playoffs in the
- 13:26first series, I think he was hitting close to 500.
- 13:29He didn't know he only had the one home run.
- 13:30And Julio Rodriguez has been taking off in the second-half of
- 13:33the season. He did this two years ago was
- 13:35probably, if it wasn't for Otani that year, probably a runner up
- 13:38for MVP that year. And it's just crazy how good
- 13:41they are. You're right.
- 13:41The Blue Jays are kind of fluky and it's kind of catching up to
- 13:44them and their pitching is all old outside of Gossman, and
- 13:46they're really. You know what's interesting
- 13:48about the Mariners? I remember the Mariners teams in
- 13:51the the 2000's, the early 2000s, even in the 90s.
- 13:55And I remember the 95 Seattle Mariners when Jay Buhner and Ken
- 14:00Griffey Junior and Edgar Martinez and Randy Johnson
- 14:04remember those teams where they were so fun to watch and they
- 14:08could never beat the Yankees. They could never get over the
- 14:10hump. They beat the Yankees one time
- 14:12in those runs and I think that was 95 when they beat the
- 14:15Yankees. Yeah, and then they lost to
- 14:16Cleveland, I think. They could never get over the
- 14:18hump. This team has been around
- 14:20forever and they could never win a World Series.
- 14:23And in 2001, remember when they won, I think it was 116 games or
- 14:27something like that. Regular season record.
- 14:29And they they lost. And what was it in the the LCS
- 14:36against the Yankees? Against the Yankees and before
- 14:37the Yankees lost it against the. Diamondbacks.
- 14:39I remember that. Yep, Randy Johnson and Curt
- 14:42Schilling. Who will, by the way, Jabba
- 14:44can't stand. We know.
- 14:45Yes. He didn't want me to mention him
- 14:47in that whole, you know, argument of King of the Hill.
- 14:50And Kurt Sillig stole his second most hated Red Sox.
- 14:53Here's the facts guys. If the Mariners have a chance to
- 14:56win over the last 30 years, this is the year.
- 15:00And the reason why is nobody expected them to be here.
- 15:03Nobody in the 90s, they had one of the loudest managers in in
- 15:09all of baseball. Lou Panello was a vicious guy
- 15:12that kicked dirt at the umpires throwing bases.
- 15:15I mean, he was the Tommy Lasorda of the 90s.
- 15:20Remember that. Tommy Lasorda was more of the
- 15:2280s guy who was known in the 80s.
- 15:24He was with the Dodgers in the 90s, but he wasn't, you know,
- 15:28his best years as a manager was in the 80s.
- 15:31When you, when you look at Lou Pinella, Lou Pinella had that
- 15:34gracefulness, that crazy personality and he was known as
- 15:37a Yankee. If you remember, Lou Pinella
- 15:40played on those Yankee teams. He won a World Series with the
- 15:42Yankees. Reggie Jackson time Reggie
- 15:47Jackson said Lou Pinella was one of the best teammates he's ever
- 15:50played with, by the way. But I, I will say this Cal
- 15:57Raleigh, Raleigh deserves a little bit more credit than a
- 16:00lot of people give him. Aaron Judge has had a
- 16:02sensational year. He has been sensational.
- 16:05I don't know if Raleigh wins it because of the how great of, I
- 16:10mean, this is an all time great year for Aaron Judge.
- 16:13I mean, if you compare Aaron Judge's year statistical with
- 16:17Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, I mean, you can compare his
- 16:21numbers to those guys. They're they're some of the best
- 16:25seasons they've had are comparable to Aaron Judge.
- 16:30Aaron Judge hit over 50 home runs, He hit over 330I mean is
- 16:35on base percentage was the best in the league.
- 16:37He was in one and two of the statistics and all the big
- 16:40statistics except maybe 1. Raleigh is a switch hitting
- 16:45catcher. He's defensively sound.
- 16:48He's the best catcher in baseball, All that other stuff.
- 16:51The only reason he might lose is just because he's playing in the
- 16:56same conference in in the same American League.
- 16:59Is the best player in the world in Aaron Judge?
- 17:01You've seen this in the last five years really too.
- 17:03We've seen like 5 of like the greatest American League MVP
- 17:06season between the one judge had in 2022, Ohtani having it in 21.
- 17:11And I, I know you were advocating for Vlad to win it
- 17:13that year too. He had an unbelievable year.
- 17:15And what was lost in that year, too, was Salvador Perez had like
- 17:1848 home runs in that year as well.
- 17:20Home Runs is is to me, as much as you love it and you love to
- 17:24watch it, it's not as big as when you look at a batting
- 17:28average, 330. You're known as a power hitter
- 17:31and you're on base percentage is 1 of the great.
- 17:35It's Barry Bonds. Like, OK, Barry Bonds didn't
- 17:39have a better on base percentage that Aaron Judge did this year.
- 17:43Think about that. And nobody, nobody could walk
- 17:47around or pitch around him because he's so long.
- 17:50Barry Bonds is not as long as Aaron Judge.
- 17:52Barry Bonds at best is 6162, this man 6-8.
- 17:57So you couldn't pitch around this guy.
- 17:59He has no weaknesses at up at the plate.
- 18:03Some people say you pitch high against him, you're better off
- 18:06trying to pitch high and inside to him.
- 18:08They tried to do that against him and he smacked it, you know,
- 18:12375. Feet at the pole.
- 18:15Yeah, the Blue Jays home run that he had and then some of the
- 18:17home runs he was having at the end of the year where the team
- 18:20is trying to do that kind of thing to him.
- 18:21It used to be you. You got him with the slider that
- 18:23was sweeping away. You saw Cleveland do that a lot.
- 18:26You saw the Astros do that a lot.
- 18:27And he's even adjusted to that now, too.
- 18:29And what makes it especially our is because he's 6 foot eight, he
- 18:31has a much bigger strike zone than everyone else too.
- 18:34It's it's crazy, it's not fair, but Raleigh needs a little bit
- 18:38more credit and credit is due. He's going to get a lot of first
- 18:42place votes for MVPI. Just I, I don't know if they're
- 18:46going to give it to him because the great season Aaron Judge had
- 18:49and the playoffs that he had, I mean, he hit, he hit 500 in the
- 18:54playoffs. I mean, it's ridiculous.
- 18:57Everybody said he he's not a playoff player.
- 18:59Well, I think they're going to zipper their lips on that one.
- 19:02Yeah, I want to give before we move on, I want to give Rally
- 19:04some credit for for something this series that I think it
- 19:07makes a big difference when it comes to what you saw from the
- 19:09Blue Jays versus what you saw with the Blue Jays against the
- 19:11Yankees too. Because the Blue Jays were a
- 19:12team that did not strike out a lot in the offseason.
- 19:14And obviously they were able to make that kind of thing work
- 19:17against the Yankees. But Seattle, the way the
- 19:19pitchers have either pitched sequence or Cal Rally has called
- 19:22the game to make it where they either ground out or they're
- 19:24getting all these pop ups right away early in the in the inning
- 19:27and not forcing them to try to pitch the strikeout.
- 19:29These are guys that are pitching the strikeout too, Gilbert,
- 19:31Castillo, etcetera. They can all strike guys out,
- 19:33but they're not doing that kind of thing and they're making it
- 19:36easier where they're not having all these crazy jams either.
- 19:38The one run the Blue Jays got in game one was a lead off home run
- 19:41and that was it. That's Cal Rally and the
- 19:44analytics department. Whoever is deserves a lot of
- 19:45credit for that kind. Of a who's calling the.
- 19:47Pitches. Yeah.
- 19:47It's Raleigh. It's Raleigh, Yeah.
- 19:49He's calling the pitches, He's got the game plan.
- 19:52He's, you know, he's speaking back and forth with the manager.
- 19:54He's he's calling the field and making sure he's making the
- 19:57shifts that it, it's a hard position to play catcher.
- 20:00No kid. And that's so funny when I tell
- 20:03Goody all the time I watched these, I went to see his son
- 20:06play. None of the young kids want to
- 20:07be a catcher. Of course, none of them want to
- 20:09be a catcher. Nobody wants to be hit with the
- 20:11ball. Nobody wants to stand behind the
- 20:12plate. It's boring.
- 20:14But I, I, I tell everybody. I told his son, I said, I told
- 20:17Braxton, I said, listen. If you could grow up and be a
- 20:19catcher and a successful catcher, you'll you'll, you'll
- 20:22be a star in the major leagues. And he says, I don't want to be
- 20:25a catcher. It's boring.
- 20:26I said, go ask your father if if it's a boring position to play,
- 20:31it's the best position to play because you get you get to do so
- 20:34much stuff behind the plate. Call the pitches.
- 20:37Answer the manager. Shift the players in the field.
- 20:40Not when you're a kid, though. When you're a kid, it's the.
- 20:42Position, but when you move up to high school, you will.
- 20:44No, you're absolutely right. Like that's the thing.
- 20:46Like it's the game, It's the position where there's the most
- 20:48action, right? You, you're doing something
- 20:51every play, you're involved with what's happening every single
- 20:54play. Even if you're not, you're not
- 20:55throwing the ball like you're telling them where this should
- 20:57go. This is you're part of he's.
- 20:59The quarterback, he's the quarterback on the field.
- 21:02That's what he is. You don't have a good catcher,
- 21:04you don't have a good team, period.
- 21:05And that's the problem with the Yankees, because they're still
- 21:08trying to figure out is Austin Wells the guy the Yankees for
- 21:11years had great catchers. Go back, all the great Yankee
- 21:14teams always had great catchers, and now you have Austin Wells.
- 21:18Is he a great catcher or is he mediocre?
- 21:20If he's a mediocre catcher, you're not going to win.
- 21:22And he's more known as an offensive catcher, and even that
- 21:24was kind of streaky. That's why they wanted to put
- 21:26him at first base, right? Well, they got him and Ben Rice
- 21:29and they're both left-handed catchers slash first baseman,
- 21:32right? You know, that's not exactly the
- 21:34combination you want. I think the Yankees may need to
- 21:37make a move to figure out that if they're not going to find one
- 21:39guy to do it, they're going to have to have one lefty and one
- 21:42righty. They can't just, it doesn't make
- 21:44sense. But then again, you know, the
- 21:45Yankees do things that don't make sense with roster
- 21:47construction. That's why they're not playing
- 21:49anymore. Raleigh was the Platinum Glove
- 21:51last year in the AL. You know, he he's an outstanding
- 21:55defensive catcher. He's not up for it this year,
- 21:56Not up for a Gold Glove. This year was a little bit worse
- 21:59defensively, but I think everyone takes that trade off
- 22:02when you're going to hit sixty home runs.
- 22:04He he had that throw earlier in the playoffs that he gunned down
- 22:07the guy at first base. It was like the perfect throw.
- 22:10They called him safe because it had to be perfect to beat him
- 22:13and it was upon replay, which is just pretty crazy how good he
- 22:16is. The thing that's even crazier
- 22:18though, is how good the Dodgers are.
- 22:20I mean, the Dodgers are unstoppable.
- 22:22You realize they've in the eight games they've played in the
- 22:25postseason 1.54 ERA, it's. Not fair.
- 22:30The whole thing is not fair. Blake.
- 22:32I knew Blake Snell was going to do this.
- 22:34I'm not surprised. I am not surprised Blake Snell
- 22:36is putting on this kind of, you know, performance throughout the
- 22:40playoffs. Blake Snell is one of the best
- 22:43playoff pitchers we've seen in the last 5-6 years.
- 22:47Blake Snell, when he was playing for the Rays, he was
- 22:49unbelievable. This is a great pitcher class.
- 22:53Now another Tampa Bay Ray pitcher, unbelievable and he's
- 22:58not even really playing so and it's not fair.
- 23:02Yamamoto Sasaki in the in the bullpen, That's not fair.
- 23:08Come on. And everybody's just say, well,
- 23:10you're a Yankee fan. Is that fair?
- 23:11What the Yankees did tonight, The Yankees didn't buy their
- 23:14full team. Tell me a guy on that roster
- 23:17right now that grew up on on that roster.
- 23:22Tell me one in the starting of that roster, there's not
- 23:25anybody. Not anybody.
- 23:28They're all guys from other teams, other franchises.
- 23:31That's all I'm saying. The Yankees.
- 23:34No, Monty, it was an ace trade. It was an ace.
- 23:36Trade Will Smith, I think, is the only one in their lineup.
- 23:38Will Smith? That's right.
- 23:39Yeah. And he was a catcher.
- 23:41He's a catcher. Monty was an ace trade.
- 23:43He was basically like a utility guy and they made him better.
- 23:45Than Will Smith is not a good catcher.
- 23:47I got news for you. He's not well, he's he's one of
- 23:49the best hitting catchers. As far as the defensive guy, I
- 23:51don't know, but it's I mean, you'll take that kind of offense
- 23:55all the time. The thing that the thing that
- 23:57they just don't, that they do better than everybody else is
- 24:00they just don't let you have rallies.
- 24:04They're not going to let you like bring a couple of things
- 24:06together. If it goes bad in the 9th
- 24:08inning, they've got another guy to throw in there at you.
- 24:11As soon as you have three, you know, you get through three
- 24:13batters, they always have an answer.
- 24:15It's like they're it's like playing with a stacked deck is
- 24:18what is the only way to. I don't play with.
- 24:20Stacked advantage. I don't play with stacked decks
- 24:22because every time I play with a stacked deck, I always lose.
- 24:25That's why I don't play blackjack anymore.
- 24:27I don't play poker. I lost $5000 in Vegas when I was
- 24:3021 years old. I was up by 1200 with these
- 24:33sharks and they stole my money. So that's a whole nother story.
- 24:37All right, ladies and gentlemen, my deuce of the day, the deuce
- 24:42of the day. You log.
- 24:43Not a log. I don't have a log but.
- 24:52And my deuce of the day goes to the New York Knicks.
- 24:56Yes, today, announcement of retirement.
- 25:00And it wasn't, it wasn't shocking for me as a New York
- 25:04Knicks fan as yes, Malcolm Brogdon retires after nine
- 25:10seasons of NBA basketball. Yes, Malcolm Brogdon who played
- 25:15for those Celtic teams. And I couldn't stand him.
- 25:18Malcolm Brogdon, who was one of the better two way players in
- 25:21the league for three or four years before his knee problems
- 25:24started to happen. Yes, that Malcolm Brogdon and it
- 25:27goes to the New York Knicks this offseason on a, you know, a deal
- 25:32which pretty much was like one of those like 10 day deals that
- 25:35the Knicks would give you. And within what 2 preseason
- 25:39games, Mike Brown pulled him to the side.
- 25:43This is what I heard. This is not in the article.
- 25:46And he said like, listen, Malcolm, you're not going to
- 25:48make the team. So what do you want to go?
- 25:50What do you want us to do? You want us to release you or do
- 25:52you want to retire? And Malcolm Brogdon realized
- 25:55that his his career is over, He's done, his knees are done.
- 25:59This is a guy that at one point in the at one point watching him
- 26:03in the league, this guy was a borderline All Star.
- 26:07He unfortunately he played on great teams and he was just he
- 26:12wasn't better at one position than the other.
- 26:15He was a great two way player and it's it's shame.
- 26:19It's a shame because I, you know, I would have loved to see
- 26:21him play for the Knicks this year.
- 26:23I watched him so many years just completely dominate the Knicks
- 26:26and defend our best guard or two guard every single year when he
- 26:30was playing for the Celtics or anybody else.
- 26:33And it's a shame. It's a shame.
- 26:35So my dues of the day goes to a real bad Malcolm Brogdon, your
- 26:41retirement, which it just makes me sick to my stomach.
- 26:44Of course, the Knicks don't get it right with him, so Malcolm
- 26:47Brogden retires. All right, let's, let's move on.
- 26:50All right, save your tears. Mom.
- 26:52What's one thing that you can't talk to me about?
- 26:55My sexual fantasies. Say your sorry.
- 27:00It is not ideal, but if it's what means?
- 27:02It is not ideal, but if it's just not ideal.
- 27:04But if it is, what means? You can't treble stamp a double
- 27:07stamp. You can't treble stamp a double
- 27:08stamp. Lord, you can't dribble stamp a
- 27:10double stamp. Blood, blood you guys, I'm not
- 27:12bad. Now it's time for save your
- 27:17tear. I love Lisa Ann Let.
- 27:19Me tell you something, I have heard enough attacks by my
- 27:23teams, by many different people on this show tonight.
- 27:26And Campbell, Mr. Jason Campbell went after every single.
- 27:31It was like he read my mind, my teams, my play, the players I
- 27:36can't stand. He purposely attacked every
- 27:41piece of me on this that on that interview.
- 27:44So I I'd like to thank Jason for doing that.
- 27:46Now. He's the first to ever do that.
- 27:48He really pulled out of his. All of your teams.
- 27:51He got to college basketball. He he, he got to the fact that
- 27:55he hates Steph Curry. It was impressive.
- 27:58He covered everything. And who's he work with?
- 28:00What's her name again? Taylor Davis, I remember her.
- 28:04She's on SEC Network. I remember her.
- 28:06Yeah, I remember her. So all right, let's do it.
- 28:10All right guys, this is Savior Tears, everybody's favorite tier
- 28:14based daily weekly fantasy game. We're going to follow the PPR
- 28:19scoring from Yahoo Fantasy Football.
- 28:21Everyone gets $15.00 to make their picks.
- 28:25The winner of Savior Tears gets long winded, 51% at least.
- 28:31Genuine compliments from the next show from all of the
- 28:35losers. Let me show you the board for
- 28:39this week. We've got it right here.
- 28:43I picked three games in this week.
- 28:45Skint one we got. In fact, I don't have it in
- 28:48front. We got the giants match up.
- 28:51We got The Jets match up in this week and the Panthers facing off
- 28:58against. I forgot the game Speedy, you
- 29:00have to help me with this one. Had it in front.
- 29:02Of Panthers against The Jets. Panthers against The Jets.
- 29:05Panthers, Jets, the Chiefs are taking on, They already face the
- 29:11Giants, so it can't be the Giants and it's probably the
- 29:15Broncos. Is that what?
- 29:16We have Chiefs against the Raiders.
- 29:17That's one of my picks. It's a big spread for this week.
- 29:20So the Broncos. All right, so here we go, guys.
- 29:24There's not a lot at the receiver position this week, but
- 29:27take a look who we have on the board.
- 29:29Quarterback Pat Mahomes at $5, Bone Nicks at 4.
- 29:34The great Jackson Dart at 3, Bryce Young at 2.
- 29:38Justin Fields for a buck. I decided not to include Gino
- 29:42because he is leading the league in interceptions at 10.
- 29:45At running back, Ashton Gentie is a $5 player.
- 29:48Rico Dowdle Errol, How do you pronounce his last name again?
- 29:55I thought you said like do. Widdle do widdle like a.
- 29:57Part of the small do waddle, do waddle.
- 30:00Yeah, three Sol for three Killacam Scatabo at 2:00 because
- 30:05that's what he sounded like to me with the auto tune a second
- 30:08ago. I guess Cam's got Killacam
- 30:10didn't use all. Right.
- 30:11I'm glad I introduced you to that stupid song.
- 30:14So I'm, I'm putting that on my pregame warmups.
- 30:18I'm excited for that. We're gonna Yeah, well, I'm, I'm
- 30:23really excited to listen to that a lot.
- 30:25And then JK Gobbins for a dollar, $5 receiver.
- 30:29Cortland Sutton, they get for wide receiver, one wide receiver
- 30:322. It's Trey Tucker.
- 30:33It is real thin at receiver in these games.
- 30:35Wandale Robinson is the $4.00 player.
- 30:38Tedderola McMillan is on the other side.
- 30:40We have Xavier Worthy and Hollywood Brown, 2 Chiefs
- 30:43receivers to pick from because we're not really sure who's
- 30:47coming back. I didn't put him up there, but
- 30:49Rashi Rice, it shouldn't make his debut this week.
- 30:52We've got Josh Reynolds for The Jets because I guess they got to
- 30:55throw it to somebody. If we have the likely missing of
- 30:59the game by Garrett Wilson, Troy Franklin, Hunter Renfro and Alan
- 31:03Lazard for a buck at tight end, Errol's favorite person on the
- 31:07planet Earth, Travis Kelsey, is a $5 player.
- 31:11We still don't think we haven't brought the hours.
- 31:13He might be second, he might be secondly, some way to scatter.
- 31:15But with this point, thank. God, he didn't bring him up.
- 31:19He didn't bring up Travis Kelce. He's like the only one he didn't
- 31:21bring up but did get into Taylor from.
- 31:23It was pretty close. Pretty close.
- 31:26Michael Mayer I have for $4.00. Doesn't look like we're getting
- 31:28Brock Bowers again, but that is still pending.
- 31:31Evan Ingram for three, Tommy Tremble for two and Penn State
- 31:35legend Giants tight end Theo Johnson for a dollar.
- 31:41So I have a way to do this for Jabba, similar to his coin
- 31:48flipping method for making picks that we're going to, I guess
- 31:51simulate Speedy. You get a coin for when you do
- 31:55the six pack and you will simulate.
- 31:57Jabba's. But I've got a wheel over here
- 32:01that we're going. To stop my indoor.
- 32:03For Jabba and let me put it up on the screen right now.
- 32:09Bring this down and I'm going to show you how we're going to
- 32:13decide who Jabba selects for each one of these.
- 32:16Speedy, we're going to start with quarterback.
- 32:18Here we go. Jabba's going to take the.
- 32:24Let's see where it stops. Anybody knows?
- 32:26Could be anybody who thinks the $1.00 quarterback?
- 32:29Who is that? Justin Fields.
- 32:31That is Justin Fields. Just write it down real quickly
- 32:34for me in the chat. All right, now let's move on to
- 32:37his running back selection. The Jabba Wheel Selects looks
- 32:42like the $3 running back. Who do we got here?
- 32:46If he wins, I don't have a heart attack.
- 32:49Yeah, that'll be something if he actually wins this week.
- 32:51But the second greatest upset after Nathan?
- 32:52'S first $3 running back is Reese Hall, so he's staying with
- 32:55The Jets. The Wheel loves The Jets this
- 32:58week. Let's see, let's go back.
- 33:00That'll that'll make it even harder for Errol to give
- 33:02compliments the job of he wins with a bunch of jets.
- 33:05On I didn't. Play Carolina, too.
- 33:08Disappear yet? So here we go.
- 33:10Let's click on it again. What do we got?
- 33:13Here's the wheel of Jabba. Oh, he's going cheap this round
- 33:18for wide receiver. One for yet another dollar.
- 33:23Let's see who that is. Looks like Hunter Renfro.
- 33:28Jab has always talked about how big of a fan he was of Renfro.
- 33:31It only makes sense. Here we go with the next
- 33:36selection staying cheap. The thrifty might save the most
- 33:44money since Nathan once won this game, $2.00.
- 33:49Who is the $2.00 player in this round?
- 33:51Looks like we're going to get Troy Franklin for Jabba and you
- 33:56know what? I think he hasn't spent any
- 33:58money. Does he have $5.00 left?
- 33:59Let's. See.
- 34:00So Renfro's one field 1/3. So that's 5 seven, yeah.
- 34:06All right, and let's give him Travis Kelsey for $5.
- 34:11I think that's only fair for the Jabba Wheel.
- 34:15The Jabba wins The Jabba wins with Jets and Travis Kelsey
- 34:19Arrow will definitely have a hard time giving him
- 34:20compliments. Oh yeah, I'm not giving him any
- 34:23compliments after the last week, OK.
- 34:25The only thing that would have been funnier is if the gremlin
- 34:27was here. That's true.
- 34:30That is pretty funny. I mean I didn't put him in.
- 34:33I have used them before, but let's move on to Tommy.
- 34:38Scoops. OK, I'm going to go and spend
- 34:42$3. Mr. Jackson.
- 34:44Dart is coming on the team then. Big surprise here.
- 34:49I'm going Cam scataboo #2I. Don't know if you guys saw that
- 34:53one coming. Now this is where I'm how much
- 34:58money do I have left? I have 10, so you have 5.
- 35:01You use 5. Jackson Dart.
- 35:02I have $10.00 left so I'm going to go Sutton, Tedarola, McMillan
- 35:11and then Theo Johnson. All right, so I have for you
- 35:18Dart and Scat and Theo Johnson from the Giants, Courtney and T
- 35:24Mac Receiver. Broncos.
- 35:29I will go next. The Giants.
- 35:33Oh, I am not taking the Giants against the Broncos.
- 35:39He's hot. Let's stay with him.
- 35:41Paddy Mahomes for $5. I'm going to go.
- 35:49I think I'm going to go, so I like that.
- 35:52Giants defense That Giants defense is tough, but.
- 35:57I think Reese Hall is getting every touch in this game because
- 36:00everyone's hurt. So I'm going to go Reese Hall
- 36:03for three, then I'm going to I'm going to give it to Xavier
- 36:10Worthy for another 3 in this game.
- 36:13I think he's going to get some attention taken off of him with
- 36:15Return of Rice. How much does that give me,
- 36:18Speedy? What am I at $4.00 left?
- 36:21Worthy we got. Mahomes, Worthy and Hall 4 left.
- 36:29All right, I'll go. Troy, Franklin and Tommy.
- 36:32Tremble. I don't think the Giants set the
- 36:35second, Oh, you know what? I don't really like that.
- 36:37Do I want to pick Alan Lazard out of left field even though he
- 36:40has no, I have no reason or evidence that he's still good at
- 36:43football. And then take Evan Ingram, who
- 36:48is hands made of stone. This is tough.
- 36:54These are tough choices. I like the other combo I'm going
- 36:56Troy Franklin and Tommy Tremble. So my picks are Mahomes, Hall,
- 37:04Worthy, Franklin and Tremble. All right, Speedy PD all.
- 37:12Right. Give me Mare Rico Dowdle and
- 37:15Xavier Worthy, Definitely. And it leaves me with four left.
- 37:18This is where my dilemma is. Do I go both twos?
- 37:23Do I go with Fields or in Hollywood?
- 37:27Give me both twos, Give me Bryce Young and Franklin.
- 37:32Bryce and Franklin so I got Bryce Dowdle or do Dow do all
- 37:41something have said in the in the past worthy Franklin, it's
- 37:45mayor all right Errol. All right, I'm going to go.
- 37:54I'm going to go with Bo. I'm going to go with McMillan.
- 38:07I guess I would go with Breece. I will go with Worthy.
- 38:14How many is just one left? I'll go with Theo Johnson.
- 38:21Here we go. All right, so let me show it to
- 38:24you BC our winner on Monday. We'll keep the standing Speedy
- 38:29again. It's good, 8531. 2nd.
- 38:33Pass third place standings because not everyone could play
- 38:36every week. I think it would be good to keep
- 38:38it that way for next time. But again, even if you do really
- 38:43well and it's not good enough to win, you can't complain about
- 38:45it. You gotta save your tears.
- 38:47Save your tears. Breaking news I'm putting you on
- 38:50a leash now. Breaking news.
- 38:51Hot lady, by the way, I think. Kenny is on now.
- 38:53I don't know if you saw that Kenny.
- 38:56I am a legend. Let's.
- 38:57Hear. Kenny, what's up?
- 39:01What's up? You guys watch this game?
- 39:04What game the the Blue Jays and Mariners game?
- 39:09Yes. We are.
- 39:10Yes, we're watching. Kenny.
- 39:11What are you doing? Are you drinking?
- 39:13Smoking. Kenny was enjoying his.
- 39:14Dinner. I'm having a sober night.
- 39:17What's wrong with having that? Oh, you're sober night.
- 39:19I haven't heard from you in a while.
- 39:20Kenny. Have you been chasing geese,
- 39:22Dogs. Cats?
- 39:23What have you been chasing? Brandon chases girl female mind
- 39:28so you're. Chasing.
- 39:29Well, hold on one second. You're chasing squirrels now.
- 39:32This is a woman online, so there you go.
- 39:35Oh, you're chasing women online now?
- 39:40Well, hold on one second. So what do you say to these
- 39:43women when you talk to them online?
- 39:45I'm just talking to 1 SO. What's your name?
- 39:47What's your name? Let's hear it.
- 39:50I really have to tell your name. It's Nicole.
- 39:53That's it. Did you tell her?
- 39:54Did you tell her to subscribe to your YouTube channel?
- 39:56What? Does she look like?
- 39:57What does she look like, Kenny? Lots of.
- 40:03Hot ladies. Age.
- 40:05Appropriate 2:30 So there you go.
- 40:08Well, how old are you, Kenny? 48. 48.
- 40:14OK, Mr. Mr. Mouth President, don't you owe me a Yankee?
- 40:19Yes, I. Do actually.
- 40:21A giant A giant, not a Yankee a. Giant.
- 40:23Well, I think I changed it to. Oh, yeah, I didn't get back to
- 40:28you, so. All right.
- 40:28I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll introduce you to Yankee.
- 40:30I'll introduce you to Jabba. So I'm telling like, how about
- 40:35like your current Yankee? Doesn't have to be anybody well
- 40:38known. It could be a rookie.
- 40:40I can sit down with a guy that just called him.
- 40:43I could probably get your. I could get you Cabrera.
- 40:46I think I could get you Cabrera. Awesome all.
- 40:50Right. I think I could do that because
- 40:52Nathan, nothing's very close with Cabrera.
- 40:54He goes to a lot of events with Cabrera.
- 40:57I could do that. That would be a significant kind
- 41:00of events. You have that hit that that got
- 41:03them the third, they got them in playoffs, right?
- 41:07No, a Drupal, right? How do you pronounce his name?
- 41:10Oswaldo. Oswaldo, Oswaldo, That's right.
- 41:13Drupal Cabrera is the one that. Used to be.
- 41:14That's right. That's right.
- 41:15I think Cabrera had a couple of home runs.
- 41:18Yeah, he was. He was the 3rd baseman for the
- 41:19Yankees before he, you know, his leg went early this season.
- 41:24He was the 3rd baseman for the Yankees.
- 41:27All right. What do you think?
- 41:29What do you think? Is that?
- 41:30Is that good for you? That is beautiful, all right.
- 41:34Did you, have you, have you met this girl yet?
- 41:37No, we're chatting online and then I'm I'm inviting her to a
- 41:43friend of a friend that's having has a Halloween party every day
- 41:46the next day after Halloween. All right.
- 41:48Hold on, hold on. What are you dressing up like?
- 41:51I don't know, I'm going to see. I'm going to buy my costume next
- 41:54week. And maybe a vampire.
- 41:56That's always sexy. No, you don't, you know, and I
- 41:58think I think you should try up like a penis.
- 42:00I think that would be good. I.
- 42:02Mean there's a lot of costumes. I'll see if they have left and
- 42:06I'll see if it's any good. Yeah, you buy her her costume,
- 42:09she could be something else. She could be a penis, a very.
- 42:14Nice Goose costume. You could be a nutsack.
- 42:16I've seen those costumes too. Those are pretty cool.
- 42:18Too The one night away women can dress like, you know, the kind
- 42:22of like the WH word. I'm not going to spell the rest
- 42:25of that. Oh.
- 42:29God just make sure she's a woman and not some.
- 42:32Yeah, I've seen some. Yeah, so.
- 42:34There's a lot of people. So did Matt Tateo too.
- 42:37He saw a lot of pictures too, but he bumped into something
- 42:39that didn't exist. Don't don't worry, Kenny, Era
- 42:41also thinks. That Aaron Rodgers is an
- 42:43imaginary girlfriend. She sent me a picture of her
- 42:46holding the one kid she has. I mean, yeah, that seemed pretty
- 42:50real. I don't think anybody would make
- 42:52up. Kenny, did you tell her you're
- 42:53like 6-6 and some, you know, scrawny tall guy who likes to
- 42:58chase geese? Did you ever tell her that?
- 43:00No, definitely not. You don't want to tell her that?
- 43:03Well, show her the video when you get a chance to send her
- 43:06that video. Kenny, you should have her dress
- 43:09up as a goose so that you can that you can catch her.
- 43:13Does she smoke? Would she?
- 43:15Would she smoke? Somewhere I'm I'm willing to
- 43:20give up weed smoking to the woman and to have and to have a
- 43:26kid. Well, hold on one second.
- 43:28Did you just say to have a kid? No, I'm saying that I would give
- 43:33him weed to start a family. I would wow this guy.
- 43:37This guy went from I've never. Had it.
- 43:39It's not like it's. Not a it's your life.
- 43:42It's just a habit. It's not like, it's not like
- 43:46it's booze or cocaine. People get addicted to that
- 43:48stuff. It's just a habit.
- 43:49You can drop it anytime. Well.
- 43:51Thank you, Kenny. You've made me a lot stupider
- 43:54tonight. Thank you.
- 43:55What lessons? In drug health.
- 44:00With Kenny and Marx, I agree with you.
- 44:03Seattle probably is the only one that could give the Dodgers a
- 44:07run for the money if they are able to right?
- 44:11The Dodgers could be too powerful like they have been in
- 44:14the past. Well.
- 44:15I like this take, Kenny, I like this take.
- 44:18I think, I think if, if, if Seattle gets in there most
- 44:22likely, right. I think if you're 7, and who
- 44:26knows who's going to win that all.
- 44:28Right, so, Kenny, before we let you go, I want you to try
- 44:30something right now. Yeah.
- 44:32You're ready. All right?
- 44:34I want you to. I want to, I want you to stick
- 44:36your thumb into very warm water. OK?
- 44:40Stick. It in warm warm.
- 44:41Water. Yeah.
- 44:43And then when it gets a little warm, you take it and you.
- 44:49What now? Yeah, you.
- 44:50Stick it in warm water. Yeah, that's right.
- 44:52Right there. A little warm water.
- 44:57You got it. Yeah, wait for it to come warm.
- 45:01OK. All right, Thunder, now why do I
- 45:08lose all? Right, your fingers warm now.
- 45:16No, I didn't do that. OK, well, you didn't do it yet.
- 45:19Why not? I gotta wait for it to become
- 45:22warm well. How long does it take your
- 45:25freaking sink? To you didn't say boiling water.
- 45:29Stop running it. OK what?
- 45:31What was the point? All right, so get your thumb,
- 45:34get it warm. Is it warm?
