- 0:04Speaker 1: It is time to believe your worries outside and laugh
- 0:08Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, along with
- 0:11Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. We're going to start today
- 0:16Speaker 1: with a story that is going to entertain you more
- 0:19Speaker 1: and more with each piece of it that I reveal.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Here is part number one of Chopper Boy. A boy
- 0:31Speaker 1: was injured in a chopper crash. It's very sad. Part
- 0:37Speaker 1: number two, a boy was injured in a chopper crash
- 0:42Speaker 1: woke up from his coma. Isn't that great news? That's
- 0:49Speaker 1: great news. The third part, the boy who was injured
- 0:55Speaker 1: in a chopper crash woke up from his coma on
- 0:58Speaker 1: his birthday. This story just gets better and better, right,
- 1:04Speaker 1: isn't it amazing?
- 1:06Speaker 2: I'm hoping.
- 1:06Speaker 1: So, do you feel the other shoe dangling over our heads? Uh?
- 1:13Speaker 2: Huh?
- 1:15Speaker 1: I want you to hold on to that feeling, because
- 1:17Speaker 1: you're about to feel very close to this young boy.
- 1:23Speaker 1: A boy who was injured in a chopper crash woke
- 1:26Speaker 1: up from a coma on his birthday and promptly asked,
- 1:30Speaker 1: why did a helicopter land on me?
- 1:39Speaker 2: That's what you get from making a wish, Timmy.
- 1:46Speaker 1: I mean, I know it's just a news headline, but
- 1:48Speaker 1: this feels like one, two, three, four part movie franchise
- 1:54Speaker 1: ready to be written. I mean, it's ready to go.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Boy who was injured and a helicopter crash woke up
- 2:04Speaker 1: from a coma on his birthday and promptly asked, why
- 2:07Speaker 1: did a helicopter land on me? The sister of the
- 2:10Speaker 1: boy injured in a Huntington Beach helicopter crash says her
- 2:14Speaker 1: brother is a fighter. Sounds like he lost that fight.
- 2:20Speaker 2: He can't beat up a chopper.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I mean, usually, if you get into a fight and
- 2:27Speaker 1: the fight puts you in a coma, you've lost.
- 2:32Speaker 2: But if you wake up on your birthday, I think
- 2:34Speaker 2: you win.
- 2:36Speaker 1: True, because he woke up and I don't think the
- 2:38Speaker 1: chopper will fly again, So maybe technically he did win
- 2:41Speaker 1: this fight.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Oh, the chopper will fly again. Don't you worry. They
- 2:51Speaker 3: will find a way. They weren't worried about the kid.
- 2:56Speaker 1: A twelve year old boy trapped under a crashed helicopter
- 2:59Speaker 1: and huntingdon each California and an unlikely chain of events,
- 3:03Speaker 1: is on the path to recovery after a memorable birthday
- 3:06Speaker 1: that boosted his family's spirits. Oliver Holland was pinned under
- 3:10Speaker 1: the helicopter when it crashed October eleventh in a beach
- 3:13Speaker 1: parking lot, injuring five people. He had been in a
- 3:19Speaker 1: medically induced coma until he woke up over the weekend
- 3:22Speaker 1: on his twelfth birthday after surgeries for a collapsed lung
- 3:26Speaker 1: and bleeding in his brain. His sister Madeline said, I
- 3:29Speaker 1: was there when he woke up, and I was just
- 3:31Speaker 1: crying tears of joy. The helicopter went down next to
- 3:35Speaker 1: the Higher Regency Huntington Beach Resort and spa part of
- 3:39Speaker 1: the heavily damned helicopter came to rest on top of Oliver. Sorry,
- 3:44Speaker 1: I couldn't resist it. No, it actually came to rest
- 3:46Speaker 1: on top of a staircase leading from the parking lot.
- 3:50Speaker 1: The boy was with relatives from out of town and
- 3:52Speaker 1: walking to the bridge from the beach when the helicopter crashed.
- 3:56Speaker 1: The sisters said, wrong place, wrong time. If Oliver was
- 4:00Speaker 1: five feet ahead, it wouldn't have happened. What we've told
- 4:04Speaker 1: him is that he was just in an accident, and
- 4:07Speaker 1: what he says is, how did this happen? Why did
- 4:10Speaker 1: a helicopter land on me? That's a big.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Question because Jesus doesn't like you.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I mean, that is a that is that is an answer.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I'm just saying it's Oliver and Madeleine
- 4:28Speaker 3: at Nington Beach. I'm just saying it's a it's a
- 4:33Speaker 3: very white injury. No, the only time my helicopter lends
- 4:39Speaker 3: on us is if care flight goes wrong.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Touche.
- 4:49Speaker 4: If you're the parents, how do you answer that?
- 4:53Speaker 1: That is a tough question because as a parent, the
- 4:56Speaker 1: idea is you're supposed to be there to answer the big,
- 4:59Speaker 1: tough ques questions in a child's life. Some of those
- 5:02Speaker 1: questions might revolve around exist, you know, existence, What does
- 5:08Speaker 1: it all mean? Do I go to heaven? Does the
- 5:11Speaker 1: dog go to heaven? What is sex? Why did a
- 5:15Speaker 1: helicopter land?
- 5:16Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 5:16Speaker 3: See, that's that's what as a parent, As a parent,
- 5:19Speaker 3: that's what I would have done. When he woke up,
- 5:21Speaker 3: He's like, why did a helicopter land?
- 5:22Speaker 1: On? Me? On?
- 5:22Speaker 2: Let me tell you how fucking.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Is you know what? Let's start smaller and let's talk
- 5:28Speaker 1: about God and our place in the universe.
- 5:33Speaker 2: See these nurses, boobs, you're gonna like these.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Let me let me show you why. I tell you
- 5:38Speaker 4: not to get on my laptop.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Let me tell you what clear cash means.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Eventually, when you get older and you're capable of understanding
- 5:51Speaker 1: higher concepts, I'll attempt to answer your question of why
- 5:54Speaker 1: did the helicopter land on me? Until that time, let's
- 5:58Speaker 1: start smaller.
- 6:01Speaker 2: We're in California.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Porn hub still works, yeah, and if.
- 6:06Speaker 1: For some reason it doesn't, now i'll show you about VP.
- 6:09Speaker 2: You thought roadblocks was fun, check this out?
- 6:16Speaker 1: Why did a helicopter land on Hell? If I know, kid,
- 6:21Speaker 1: what did you do that morning? Did you do something
- 6:23Speaker 1: you're supposed to? Did you look into my deleted cash?
- 6:25Speaker 1: That's probably why the helicopter landed on you.
- 6:28Speaker 2: This is why we like Madeline more.
- 6:34Speaker 1: That's when, like the boy, as the family's walking to
- 6:37Speaker 1: the beach on the stairs, the helicopter comes down, lands
- 6:40Speaker 1: right on top of Oliver, and as the parent, you
- 6:43Speaker 1: feel something, you feel badly. But then you turn to
- 6:46Speaker 1: Madeline and say, all of our hopes and dreams are
- 6:48Speaker 1: on you now. Also, you're gonna have to take care
- 6:52Speaker 1: of him if he wakes up.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Who's going to be a doctor? Now you are? But
- 7:01Speaker 3: it said he woke up on his birthday? Wasn't this
- 7:03Speaker 3: for his birthday. So he wasn't in a coma.
- 7:06Speaker 2: For very long.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I don't think so.
- 7:10Speaker 3: So No, okay, it's more of a comma than a coma.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Just paused the sentence for a second. It didn't restart it, okay.
- 7:24Speaker 1: The helicopter is a nineteen eighty Bell two to two
- 7:27Speaker 1: to two helicopter that took off from Redlands Municipal Airport.
- 7:29Speaker 1: The helicopter was part of Carson Copter's event scheduled for Sunday.
- 7:33Speaker 1: The National Transportation Safety Board has taken over the investigation.
- 7:38Speaker 1: No word on whether or not they sent a cake
- 7:40Speaker 1: to Oliver. So congratulations Oliver, happy birthday. Congratulations for surviving
- 7:48Speaker 1: a helicopter crash and a medically induced coma.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Also a great life lesson to be learned here, something
- 7:57Speaker 4: that admittedly white people very bad at it. When you
- 8:02Speaker 4: see things falling out of the sky, when you hear gunshots,
- 8:05Speaker 4: duck and run.
- 8:12Speaker 1: You're not a groundhog.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Hover.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Yeah, do not stick your head up out and look around.
- 8:17Speaker 1: You stay in that. You get in that hole, and
- 8:19Speaker 1: you stay there.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Try to film the viral moment, because you will be
- 8:24Speaker 4: the viral moment.
- 8:28Speaker 3: You know this has been filmed it's just gonna say
- 8:31Speaker 3: Oliver's twelfth Oliver's twist.
- 8:39Speaker 2: I don't want no more, Please.
- 8:43Speaker 1: You don't want more.
- 8:48Speaker 3: I would have sent him a helicopter shaped cake, just
- 8:53Speaker 3: rested it on his head. There's a second helicopter that
- 8:56Speaker 3: landed on you.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I think it would actually be a nice gesture on
- 9:01Speaker 1: the part of whoever was flying the helicopter, whether it
- 9:07Speaker 1: was a company, individual, whatever, extended invitation to young Oliver
- 9:13Speaker 1: to take a ride on a helicopter as opposed to
- 9:16Speaker 1: being landed on by one. So at least that way
- 9:19Speaker 1: he can experience a helicopter from the other side.
- 9:27Speaker 2: That's the whitest thing you've ever said.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Just let him walk, let him start there, don't immediately
- 9:36Speaker 3: throw him back into the hell.
- 9:38Speaker 1: He just turned twelve. He's gonna bounce right back.
- 9:40Speaker 3: He'll be fine. I know they bounce back like wolverine.
- 9:44Speaker 2: I get it.
- 9:45Speaker 3: But still, seven thousand pounds helicopter landing on this kid
- 9:50Speaker 3: while they were singing Happy birthday.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I think they sang happy Birthday after he woke up
- 9:58Speaker 1: after the helicopter crashed on him.
- 10:01Speaker 3: This is how my brain works. Is the dad's like, yeah,
- 10:05Speaker 3: we're gonna go ahead. And take him off life support
- 10:09Speaker 3: and then the kid pops up and he's just holding
- 10:11Speaker 3: the plug.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Happy birthday. What are you doing plugging you back in? Buddy?
- 10:21Speaker 2: What are you doing a little buddy.
- 10:23Speaker 1: I wasn't unplugging this. I was just making sure it
- 10:25Speaker 1: was working. Yeah, plug it back in there you go.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Parents are like, you know that Kobe Jersey, we got
- 10:39Speaker 4: him for his birthday.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Take that back.
- 10:42Speaker 1: That was a bad idea.
- 10:48Speaker 2: That's terrible.
- 10:52Speaker 1: How we roll here inside the treehouse speaking of things
- 10:54Speaker 1: that are terrible and speaking of bad ideas, bad decisions.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Not gonna find many more bad decisions like this one.
- 11:03Speaker 1: A man got naked and chased people inside of a
- 11:06Speaker 1: Virginia Walmart. Police did say he was under the influence
- 11:11Speaker 1: when they arrested him, which is actually good news because
- 11:15Speaker 1: the shocking part of the story would have been if
- 11:18Speaker 1: he was sober and.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Did this, was it a flash sail.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Because it was a return as a naked man chasing
- 11:35Speaker 1: people inside of a Walmart.
- 11:38Speaker 4: I mean, if he was uncircumcised, it'd be rollback.
- 11:40Speaker 5: God, damn it, damn autism.
- 11:52Speaker 1: So there's rain Man, and now we have brain Man.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Because prices aren't the only things that are following at Walmart.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Man is facing charges after police say he chased people
- 12:08Speaker 1: wild naked at a Walmart in Dumfries, Virginia. Well, what
- 12:12Speaker 1: a perfectly non named town. On the other hand, I
- 12:18Speaker 1: kind of want to call it Dumfries because that's how
- 12:21Speaker 1: it's spelled, dum fr Ees. This happened on Tuesday morning,
- 12:25Speaker 1: according to Prince William County Police Department, officers were called
- 12:29Speaker 1: to a Walmart on Richmond Highway just before nine am
- 12:31Speaker 1: for reports of indecent exposure, or, as Trey put it,
- 12:35Speaker 1: a rollback sale. When officers arrived, they learned a man
- 12:39Speaker 1: had taken off all his clothes and began chasing customers
- 12:41Speaker 1: inside the store. He was arrested there. Police say he
- 12:44Speaker 1: was under the influence when they took him into custody.
- 12:46Speaker 1: You no injuries were reported, so that's good news. He's
- 12:49Speaker 1: been identified as twenty year old Lance Irving Lesainne, Junior,
- 12:54Speaker 1: charged with a decent exposure, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication.
- 12:58Speaker 1: This is an important lesson to learn. If you have
- 13:01Speaker 1: a kid, don't name that kid after yourself, because if
- 13:05Speaker 1: that kid does something really really bad, that's you that
- 13:08Speaker 1: did it. That's your name getting dragged around. You want
- 13:11Speaker 1: to you want to know. One of the best examples
- 13:13Speaker 1: of this, John Wayne Gacy, is a junior.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Yeah, but nobody knew that untill now.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm pretty sure John Gaysey Senior would have preferred
- 13:25Speaker 1: to remain anonymous to the world as opposed to becoming
- 13:28Speaker 1: known for that. Mm hmmmmmm.
- 13:33Speaker 4: I think if you're related to a serial killer, it's
- 13:35Speaker 4: hard in general, but.
- 13:37Speaker 1: It's got to be harder if you have the same
- 13:39Speaker 1: damn name.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Yeah, if you're Keith Dahmer, people are gonna put two
- 13:44Speaker 3: and two together. I'm not gonna be like, is that
- 13:48Speaker 3: your son? Yeah, a Dahmer Jeff, Yeah, that was my bad.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I would definitely change my name. Yeah, because like, uh,
- 13:59Speaker 1: we've we've watched a few of these serial killers shows
- 14:02Speaker 1: that have been out lately, like Dahmer. We watched a
- 14:06Speaker 1: couple on Ted Bundy and Ted Bundy has I think
- 14:09Speaker 1: it's a half brother, younger half brother that they spend
- 14:12Speaker 1: a lot of time with, like him, I'm pretty sure
- 14:17Speaker 1: I would not go by Bundy mm hmm. That's at
- 14:21Speaker 1: least that name's a little more generic andn't because there's
- 14:24Speaker 1: basically two famous Bundy's right, there's the serial killer and
- 14:30Speaker 1: then there's Al from Al's Children. I mean, honest to God,
- 14:35Speaker 1: if it wasn't for married with Children, the Bundy name
- 14:38Speaker 1: would have been absolutely ruined by Ted.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm pretty sure he did a solid job.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Oh no, he did. But what I'm saying is Bundy's
- 14:51Speaker 1: not as terrible of a name as say, Gaysey is,
- 14:53Speaker 1: because there's a positive Bundy out there.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I think we're too far gone now with the gay
- 15:00Speaker 1: See name for someone to throw it on a family
- 15:02Speaker 1: sitcom and try to salvage it. Like, I don't think
- 15:04Speaker 1: there's gonna be a funny family sitcom with Al Gacy
- 15:07Speaker 1: and somehow that makes that name better.
- 15:12Speaker 3: He's also a clown and he's just trying to get
- 15:14Speaker 3: a gig. Just hey, mister Gacy, we can't give you.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Is it because of my brother? I understand.
- 15:22Speaker 1: See, that's a sitcom that's got me interested. It'd be
- 15:25Speaker 1: very morbid, very dark. It would be John Gacy's brother.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Okay, I'm gonna start writing this.
- 15:34Speaker 1: I think I had about this a couple of weeks ago.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Think of it like this. It would be serial killer
- 15:43Speaker 1: shows like Devil in Disguise or Monster meets Chad Vader
- 15:49Speaker 1: grocery store manager, the old YouTube show that was Darth
- 15:53Speaker 1: Vader's lesser known brother living on Earth as a grocery
- 15:56Speaker 1: store night manager.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Yeah, it'd be like, yeah, kind of the same thing
- 16:01Speaker 3: as like if you were Jesus's brother, like if you
- 16:04Speaker 3: were Mike Christ. That's just that's just gonna be a
- 16:08Speaker 3: sad place to be. And you're talking about the Junior thing,
- 16:10Speaker 3: You're right, it's your name getting dragged in the mud.
- 16:12Speaker 3: That's why if you look at it, Jerry Jones named
- 16:15Speaker 3: the second one Jr. Not the first one. Yeah, the
- 16:19Speaker 3: first kid is about Junior. He's like, let me see
- 16:21Speaker 3: how bad this one is.
- 16:26Speaker 1: They're all bad, Jerry. Honestly, Charlotte's the most like, as
- 16:31Speaker 1: far as I can, as far as I know, is
- 16:33Speaker 1: the most decent one. Treyo was gonna ask you, and
- 16:37Speaker 1: I can feel the thought leaving my brain now because
- 16:40Speaker 1: I feel like you had experience in this in some
- 16:42Speaker 1: way or another, with not the names or ah, damn it,
- 16:48Speaker 1: I lost it. Yep, it's gone.
- 16:57Speaker 4: Do you think the neck of guy in Walmart was
- 16:58Speaker 4: doing the helicopter thing?
- 17:01Speaker 2: That's what landed on Oliver am We're back to Gasey.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Thank you, Trey rawl Things. Treehouse put a Treehouse on
