Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know that my income could be uncapped as a owner of your virtual practice.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_01]: You can see as much patients or as little patients as you want.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_00]: Some people are so indoctrinated.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like what is the mindset that's needed in order to make a slow transition?
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: Half of them can't even pay back the loans that they took out to get educated because their income is cat.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: They're just stuck in this box and they think, oh, I have to only work in the clinic in the hospital, work nine to five, 12 hours and you don't, you can work whatever hours you want.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_00]: There's a question, no, could I start the business and just hire other nurses to do it?
- 0:37[SPEAKER_00]: So you can?
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: If you're doing contracting, you negotiate how much they're going to pay you.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_00]: Starting your own virtual practice is you being the boss.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I found one company and I started with them doing COVID.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_01]: I have four licenses and it was like, well, if you get more licenses, you can start seeing more patients, which will equal more income.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_01]: So I went from four to 25 licenses.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_01]: I was making 60, 80.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm not.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm just, well, you start making 60 to $80,000 every month.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

- 2:15[SPEAKER_00]: All right, so welcome to another awesome episode of Inside the Vault of Ash Catch.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_00]: The greatest money mindset show on the planet.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, most people spend years getting a degree earning credentials and building expertise only to discover their created a career that still requires them to trade their time for money.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: But what if your license wasn't just qualifications to get you a job?
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: What if it was a business asset?
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: Today's guest is helping nurse practitioners completely rethink their careers and what they can look like.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: Dr. Ebony Teleri is a nurse practitioner entrepreneur mentor and a founder of Virtual N.P.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: through her work.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: She's been helping N.P.'
- 2:58[SPEAKER_00]: 's move beyond the traditional floor walls of the clinic, enter remote work, 1099 opportunities, virtual practice ownership, digital products, and multiple streams of income.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: And today, we're getting into the real game.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: How healthcare professionals can turn their knowledge and credentials into ownership, flexibility, and financial freedom.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: If you are a nurse practitioner or any professional who knows your work is worth more than just a paycheck, you need to watch this episode until the very end.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_00]: Ladies and gentlemen, inside us, please welcome Dr. Ebony.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you very much.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm really excited about this episode because a lot of the people that watched this show are professionals or people who, you know, high earners make money.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: But regardless of how much money they're making, a lot of them feel tracked, a lot of them are living paycheck, the paycheck, a lot of them don't have true financial freedom.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_00]: because in our communities, they tell us to go to school, get a good job, but then those jobs become traps for us, and you've kind of figured out how to, you know, like I say, have your cake and eat it, like you really figured that out.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: So I want to talk about that, because you've been able to generate millions of dollars as a nurse practitioner, which is really unheard of, right?
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: And so I want to talk about all that, but before we go there,
- 4:32[SPEAKER_00]: for those who don't know who is Dr. Ebony television.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm a board certified family nurse practitioner.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_01]: I've been in the field of nursing for 20 years.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: So I started from the bottom, I worked my way up.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: I was a CNA, registered nurse, and then the family nurse practitioner.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I've been a family nurse practitioner for the past 10 years and working remote for the past six years.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_00]: So talk a little bit about that, right?
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like,
- 5:00[SPEAKER_00]: Was it always your vision to become a nurse, what was the, you know, what, what, what, what, you know, was the law, like what made you say it, you know what I like that this is, this is the feeling I'm going to choose.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_01]: Originally I want to be a teacher and my parents are from the island and you know how it is Island.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: Guyana.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: So this is like, well, what about, you know, the health field?
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: So then the high school that I went to in Brooklyn, they had a nursing track and I joined it and then once I graduated from high school, I was able to work as a senior.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_00]: So that just opened the door for everything.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: And then at what point like in your journey was it was it yeah crazy you worked your way up from the bottom was it an easy journey was the top journey like how was it like trying to work your way up
- 5:48[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't easy at all, I left home at 18.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: So I moved from Brooklyn to Florida at 18 years old and just started my nursing journey.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: And it was hard with relationships, friendships, divorce, it was really, really hard.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_00]: And at what point did you find remote work and realizing that there was a world beyond just
- 6:17[SPEAKER_01]: COVID.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: And then what what was that realization like how did how did they have it?
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: So during 2020 during COVID times, you know, it was crazy for everyone and particular for me.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: I was going through a divorce as well.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: I was traveling so I had to leave my son who was to at the time with my mom and she watched him and I traveled to, you know, Texas, New York,
- 6:42[SPEAKER_01]: So I missed a lot of milestones with my son because I had to travel and I was in the process of closing on my first home too.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: So it was a whole bunch going on and you know, I had to do what I had to do.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna go get it.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna get it done.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: So once I got back from traveling, I was burnt out.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_01]: I was tired.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: We were working 12 hours shifts.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes 13, 14, six days a week.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: We won day off.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_01]: So when I was dumb, I came home and I said, well, I have to figure something out because this is not it at all.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: I have my licenses, I have this degree, like I need to figure something out.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_00]: And then what was that, you know, was it what the, was it, was it a traction, did you manifest it like, how did this, how did you, had the opportunity come to now?
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: All right, I'm gonna start working remote, like what was, you know,
- 7:33[SPEAKER_01]: So I had one contract that I was working for, $10.99 and during COVID it started to pick up fast.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I was traveling and doing that.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: So kind of doing remote and traveling at the same time.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: And real quick, before you say you were working $10.99, for like those who don't know, what does that mean?
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: What's the difference between a W2 and a $10.99?
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: So, W2, you're basically, most of the W2 is your full-time or part-time, and employ your controls, your schedule, and your time.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: So, when you work for the employer, so you're the employee.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: Got it, yeah.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: And as a 1099 contractor, you're contracting yourself as a nurse practitioner with that company.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: Or your business, if you set up your, you know, business correctly the right way as a 1099 nurse
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, all right, so, so, so, so you, so you're independent contractor, right?
- 8:24[SPEAKER_00]: As a tonight, you're employee of the W2, um, is that a choice that they give you, right?
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like, so like Francis, like, I'm like, my background was a banker, right?
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: Um, there was no way for me to be a 1099 banker, like I had to work for the company because they, that's just the way it was, um, is that, is that not the case, as a nurse, like you could become a contract, like how do you find contracts, I guess?
- 8:49[SPEAKER_01]: So the contract, the companies will either hire for W2 and 1089, I prefer 1099 because it's more flexible.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: You pretty much tell them when you can work.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: Whereas W2, you're going to work at 9-5, 8-5, most nurse practitioners and nurses, they're working 7-8, 7-p, or 7-p, 7-8, 12-hour shifts.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: And so you're saying if...
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: If they're like a hospital or organizations hiring, they let you choose.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: They say, like, do they say, all right, this is a W2 job, or it's in my email, and you get to choose it, or no, don't get to choose it.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_01]: You have to do the research and find those 1099 contracts.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_01]: I've got to got to got to.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: The hospital, if you're working in the hospital, you're more than likely W2.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: Got it.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: And clinic your W2.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: Got it, got it, got it, got it.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: And then what are those opportunities?
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: that, you know, that they're looking for 1099 and what's the, like, what's the benefit but I mean, I know you say you own your time, what are some other benefits of doing 1099?
- 9:47[SPEAKER_00]: But before you've the benefits, how do you, how do you find it?
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: So research, I look on different job boards, certain companies that, if you simply set up like you're linked in properly as an nurse practitioner, they were reached out to you and say, hey, my company needs a NP to contract and see patients for this company.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_01]: And you sign on as a 1099 to see patients for that bigger.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: Got it, got it, got it, got it, got it.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: And what's the benefit of the internet?
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: So, 10 and 9, you get to make it on schedule, time, freedom, the pay is good, better than W2, yes, because the W2 you're going to get an hourly rate, most of the NP remote positions, they pay you per patient, per visit.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_01]: So, say they pay you 20 per patient, and you can see up to six patients in an hour, that's 120 dollars an hour.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: If you can see more, it's more versus if you're doing the W2, they're going to tell you, hey, you get pay 80, 90 dollars an hour, and we can throw 20 patients on your schedule.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: And is it one of those things, is it like?
- 10:59[SPEAKER_00]: If you know you know kind of thing, like as I know, I know like word dummy too.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and most nurses, nurse practitioners, they don't know about the W2, they don't know or they don't know about $10.99 and they don't know about the remote.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_01]: Because there's so many nurse practitioners, like I never knew I can work from home.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_01]: But you can work from home.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: And then so, so.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_00]: What made you look for the, right?
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: Cause you, you, you're traveling a lot, um, um, you know, and you, you found a, like, a contract, um, was it, did somebody give you the game?
- 11:34[SPEAKER_00]: Did you, like, how did you figure out?
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_01]: I did research and I found one company and I started with them doing COVID and things started picking up.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, well, I have four licenses.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: And there was like, well, if you get more licenses, you can start seeing more patients, which will equal more income.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: So, I went from four to 25 licenses in the summer and I was baking 60, 80, okay, a month.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_00]: A month?
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_00]: Compared to what we were doing making a year as a W2.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like 110,000.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: So, where were we?
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: We're lying.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: We're lying.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: We're lying.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: So, you're telling me, so, that you're working W2
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: You're traveling a lot.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_00]: You're making about 110,000, which anybody said, like six figures, great, great money, but you don't have time.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_00]: You've got a young child at home.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_00]: You find an opportunity to tell you if you get more licenses, they could give you more work.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_00]: And then you start making $60 to $80,000 every month.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: How did that feel for you?
- 12:42[SPEAKER_01]: Great.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_01]: Amazing to realize that what I went to school for on the hard work is paying off.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_01]: Just by understanding that my license is my business.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: That's the business.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: And so, I mean, obviously, you start making that money.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_00]: You're like, all right, please do something.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'll do this W2 pick any word.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_01]: Nope.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_01]: So after that, I had that one contract and because I had the licenses, because I had the experience, just different companies were like, hey, do you want to be a contractor and see patients for me?
- 13:16[SPEAKER_01]: And then I stack those contracts.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_00]: And then like, you start to stack in those contracts.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 13:24[SPEAKER_00]: Give us the picture of like how did your life sort of like fundamentally change right and what I mean by that is you know because because I'm pretty sure people could everybody could relate to even if you're not a nurse right you could relate to Being you know making working for a job being busy missing family doing all that stuff and then now you literally
- 13:50[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know eight times your income, right?
- 13:54[SPEAKER_00]: Because if you're going 60 to 80, I mean, you're making close to 700 to 900, like close to a million dollars in a year from 110,000, like you almost like nine, 10 extra, your income, how does your life change when it happens?
- 14:12[SPEAKER_00]: How did your life change?
- 14:13[SPEAKER_01]: It changed for the better.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: I can spend time with my son, which was important more time because I'm working at home.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_01]: We're able to travel, able to get him things, get myself things, and it was, yeah, it was amazing.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: And as that's happening, you know, are you now, because I know like the beautiful thing about what you do or what you've learned is that you said, you know what?
- 14:41[SPEAKER_00]: I had the research, I had to figure it out.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: Most people who have to do that, they keep it to themselves, right?
- 14:48[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you decided to start a program, you said, listen, you know what?
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: I need other nurses to know, um, that this, that this is available, like, like, why?
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: Why did you fill out was important?
- 15:01[SPEAKER_01]: Because I'm not a gay keeper, and I want everybody to win.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_01]: I want all the nurses, nurse practitioners to win.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_01]: Because we all, telling you, we all are burnt out, overwork on the paid, and if I can figure it out and get to this level, I just want to help as much nurses and nurse practitioners that I can.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: Wow, wow, wow.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_00]: And like, you know, is it...
- 15:24[SPEAKER_00]: Is it simply, is it just simply a matter of, all right, if you notice information, it's like you're doing like, are there new ones?
- 15:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, how easy is it for a nurse to now, who's listening to this right now?
- 15:36[SPEAKER_00]: It was like, okay, I, there's opportunities out there.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: Let me just go online, like, like, what is the, you know, how easy is it, is it to find to find contracts?
- 15:48[SPEAKER_01]: I'm to find it.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: It may be easy if you do your research but to actually get onboarded with the contract, it's it's worth because you have to have the qualification, you have to have the licenses, and just get into licenses alone is a lot.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_01]: I have 30 licenses now.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_01]: So I can see patients in 30 different states, and that's a whole process because you have to make sure you know each state's laws and regulations and that you set up your you know L.O.C.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_01]: correctly so that you can see patients.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not it's not easy.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, is that is that what you you teach inside the virtual N.P Yeah, so I teach 10.99 contracting and then I also teach nurse practitioners how to start growing skill that on virtual practice
- 16:32[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, because that's what I pivot to after doing 1099.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, well, I'm seeing these patients for these big and companies.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_01]: I can make my own.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_01]: So I did the research and I started my virtual practice.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm strictly seeing patients virtually because when I was in MP school, I did want to have a brick and mortar.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_00]: you get you you you find opportunities as a 1099 employee and there's a company that's getting to have patients and they just like contract you to see their patients.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: And so in your virtual MP Academy you were able to you know teach people how to become 1099 employees right or contract this.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_00]: But then you figured out you said instead of instead of being hired
- 17:31[SPEAKER_00]: Let me figure out how to get those contracts myself is that, is that what you're saying?
- 17:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, get the contracts and the patients.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: Awesome, so no more, you're not the middle man no more.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_00]: You're not the person just getting the contract or getting the patients based on the contracts that they have, that you build your own, and then you teach that a word.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: Talk about that, give us some gain, like talk about that process of, yeah, that process.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_01]: So that process starting your own virtual practice, you first want to, you know, get your LLC.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_01]: And then I recommend just start with one state.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_01]: Because you don't have to have multiple states, because you want to maximize on that state to market to patients, so they can come directly to you to your practice.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_01]: And like you said, you're no longer the middle man.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_01]: They come directly to you.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: And then my practice is cash-based.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: Cash-based.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have to worry about insurance.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_01]: I'm getting the cash upfront and then my niche is medical weight loss And we all know how That is the exemplic the major or how that is
- 18:37[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm, and so, okay, so you started your own practice, cash base, or you make it sounds mean, I'm just kidding.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_01]: A lot.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: That's so, that's so, that and then so, you started your own virtual practice.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_00]: And so you still like, like, patient still don't come see you.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: They still come see me.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_01]: So I still do 1099 and then I have patients in my practice.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: right.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_00]: And so the patients in your practice is like it's all virtual?
- 19:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm I'm in the house sometimes in my pajamas seeing patients.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_01]: And if it's a video visit, you know, you have your professional, this way, if it's not a video visit and it's just like we call it async, just chat base.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_01]: You can be in your pajamas and you don't have to be on video to see the patient.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_00]: And typically, you are a contractor, make it 16 to 80,000 a month, as an owner of a virtual practice, what's the potential that somebody can make between how much money can they make?
- 19:43[SPEAKER_01]: The potential was limitless, because if it's just you as the practitioner, you can make 50 K, 100 K. Once you get to that 100 K at that point, you need to hire another nurse practitioner.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_01]: And the more MPs you hire in your practice to work for you, there's more revenue for your practice.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow,
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: In your academy, you're teaching both.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: So you're not just teaching how to be a 1099 employee.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_00]: You're teaching them how to become virtual, how to create their own virtual practices as well.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: Do you, as I'm assuming you have to be a nurse though, this is like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_00]: So actors and I can start a business that way.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_00]: Like, here's the question though.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_00]: Could I start the business and just hire other nurses to do it?
- 20:30[SPEAKER_00]: So you can, yeah.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: You could be the business owner and then hire out no expectations to see the patients for you.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I wouldn't need license though.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_01]: No, because a lot of these bigger companies like the Hems and hers, row those individuals who own the business, they're not practitioners.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_01]: They're just business individuals who hire the medical director, nurse practitioners to oversee the business.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: But they're not medical professionals at all.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_00]: And then I'm just asking for a friend.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_00]: If somebody started a business, they're not licensed, they start this business.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_00]: How would, how do they recruit?
- 21:10[SPEAKER_00]: like nurse practitioners and does it require any, like specialized knowledge, right?
- 21:17[SPEAKER_00]: So let's just say, let's just say it's me, right?
- 21:21[SPEAKER_00]: I wanna open, you know what I mean?
- 21:22[SPEAKER_00]: We're here in the abundance conference and I wanna open a abundance cares, right?
- 21:29[SPEAKER_00]: Nurse practitioners or nursing services, right?
- 21:33[SPEAKER_00]: I open that, I go to Georgia, file my LLC, I got a Bunden's CARES nursing services, ACNS, that sounds like a good name.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_00]: Got ACNS, what am I after I register?
- 21:50[SPEAKER_00]: After the Secretary of State said you are now an official of Bunden's CARES, nurses services, you know ACNS,
- 21:57[SPEAKER_00]: Um, what is my next step if I want like how do I now like what would you say the next step is like how do I now get get get get, you know, function it.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_01]: Partner with a practitioner.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_00]: So I so I call, I call Dr. Ebony, maybe maybe not you because you already, that's it.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_00]: You get buddy buddy.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_00]: But I find somebody who's a nurse practitioner and one of my sayings to them.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_01]: Like, hey, I have this LLC.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_01]: I want to partner with you.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_01]: So you can see the patients that we acquired through marketing and are you able to see the patients.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: Now you would hire the N.P.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_01]: as a 1099 contract and for your business.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: And here she will be able to see patients.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_00]: For your business.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_00]: So I would hire them as a 1099.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_00]: So now I have them on my roster, right?
- 22:52[SPEAKER_00]: So you're saying anybody could do this so I would just need to have to be good at marketing
- 22:58[SPEAKER_01]: pretty much.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_01]: If you're not a nurse practitioner, he's just a business owner.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, good at marketing and be able to recruit other nurse practitioners and medical director if it's needed in your state.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: And then have the right protocols and procedures.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_01]: Correct in your business and then you can start seeing patients.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_00]: Tell me about and then tell me about.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_00]: Um, how do you think AI is going to affect this business, if you will, right?
- 23:29[SPEAKER_00]: Because literally, and there's two, there's a two-part question, but just like a statement or a question, but like, I'm, I'm about to chat GBT right now, like, you know, how do I start a nursing company, right?
- 23:41[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but when I think about, you know, like you said, tell a, you know, tell a health and doing things remotely, um,
- 23:48[SPEAKER_00]: I think about AI agents, I think about those type of things that are popping up right now.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_00]: And so, you know, how is that going to, like how do you think AI is going to affect this business model, or how will it affect if any.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_01]: No, it will actually help it, I will say, because with AI, the AI tools that we're using now in practices and in the contracting, it's actually helping us chart faster.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_01]: But AI can never replace what we know up here.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_01]: The knowledge and the other things we learned in school, they can't treat and diagnose patients.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_01]: So AI can never replace us as practitioners.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_00]: How long have you had your academy?
- 24:33[SPEAKER_00]: for two years?
- 24:34[SPEAKER_00]: Three years.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_00]: Talk a little bit about some of your students, right?
- 24:38[SPEAKER_00]: Like, is there any students that started out that kind of stand out for you?
- 24:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like, man, I remember when this person started something similar to stories about some of your students.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_01]: So I have a student and she's amazing.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_01]: I call her my goal star student.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_01]: She started and she had a brick and mortar.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_01]: So I physical facility and she's like Ebony, the patients that I see, I can see virtually.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_01]: Can you help me transition my practice from in person to virtual?
- 25:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, yes, I can help you.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_01]: And she also want to do contractments.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_01]: So we kind of worked on,
- 25:12[SPEAKER_01]: the contract and and her virtual practice at the same time.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_01]: So she started to get the licenses.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_01]: She actually has 50 licenses.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_01]: She went from five to 50 licenses.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_01]: She has contracts and then in her practice, she's in DC and she got a government contract for her practice.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_01]: Well, her practice got hired to see patients.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_00]: What the government.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: This kind of government
- 25:38[SPEAKER_01]: a lot.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_01]: She's already at 800K for this year.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_00]: I love that.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so, so, so, so, so finished the census for me.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_00]: Um, nurse practitioners are leaving money on the table because.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_01]: Because they don't understand the value of their license and their degree.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_00]: And, and, and, and, and
- 26:07[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I don't know, like a lot of people, especially online, when they hear people talk about, how to do things, how to make more money, things that are nature, everything to people are scam, and it's too good to be true.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_00]: What are, like, are there any potential role blocks or things that,
- 26:30[SPEAKER_00]: a nurse practitioner like that somebody's watching my now like any roadblocks, anything that they see that they're like man, like they should be aware of.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_00]: Like what is a potential pitfalls, if you will, you know, doing this?
- 26:42[SPEAKER_00]: Doing like the process or, you know, like being a 1099 or trying to start their own virtual company.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_01]: They have to put in the work.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_01]: You're gonna, whatever you put in is what you're gonna get.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_01]: So you have to put in the work because this didn't come easy for me.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_01]: I was up at night trying to figure out, okay, well, this state requires this for me to go from four to 30 licenses, it was work, so you have to put in the work, you have to, for your virtual practice, you have to understand that you have to market because they're not going to know who you are if you don't put yourself out there.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_01]: So you have to put the time and effort temporarily for you to get to where you want to be.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, and I love that.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_00]: It also feels like there's like a stigma around like nurses making money, right?
- 27:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like I kind of feel like every time I hear nurses who are burned out, tired, it feels like noble, like I do this for the people I love, you know, passionate things in that nature.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_00]: Why do you think that?
- 27:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like what do you think this such a stigma?
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like what does it feel like there's like an expectation
- 27:52[SPEAKER_00]: be okay with not making a lot of money, or if they make a lot of money, you know, be okay with giving, you know, giving, you know, giving, giving, giving and not taking it.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_01]: They don't know.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_01]: They work.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_01]: They simply do not know.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_01]: They're at work.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_01]: Because you can work the overtime.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that's nice.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: I've been there, but you, you're going to get burnt out like all nurses, nurse practitioners.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: The money is good, but you're trading time for money.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_01]: You negotiate how much they're going to pay you you don't accept contracts that the money's just not adding up And then when you start going skill your virtual practice You're going to be able to have that time back.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_00]: What kind of mindset do you have to have in order to make that transition because I feel like
- 28:42[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you know, obviously you've made a lot of money doing it.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, um, you know, you have the experience, right?
- 28:52[SPEAKER_00]: But some people are so indoctrinated with like, no, this is the only way.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_00]: Um, or they're so, you know, they follow the rules.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_00]: And then just, you know, that they, that's all they know.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like what, like, what is the mindset that's needed in order to make a, a
- 29:11[SPEAKER_01]: So you have to be determined and willing to learn and that think you know everything and that you can research everything.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_01]: If you know someone who's been through it or been through the process, you just have to, you know, listen and take their advice.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_01]: Because you don't know everything, I don't know everything, but you don't know everything.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_01]: But if you're going to follow someone, just follow the lead and don't, you know, second guess.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, yeah.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_00]: You have an experience that you're going to be doing shortly where you're inviting people who are interested in this to learn more.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_00]: Talk a little bit about that three-day experience.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: So I'll be hosting a three day challenge three day class and I'm going to break down how you get to 1099 contracts, how you get the licenses to get those contracts and how to start going to school your virtual practice.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_01]: So you can just work 20, 25 hours a week and you're not
- 30:15[SPEAKER_00]: Wow, and then, and what we'll put the links in the description, what are the, you know, what's the transformation?
- 30:26[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 30:26[SPEAKER_00]: Cause I know you said like, you know, they can get with their worth and not, you know, burned out, you know, and I know, you know, as somebody who, you know, have coached people, you know, you know, I truly believe that, you know, you got to become somebody
- 30:44[SPEAKER_00]: right like to get a result right and like people if you keep doing what you're always doing and keep getting what you've gotten and people have to become you know some might different who you know who do they become right like after they spend three days with you you know you teach them how you know what to do who do they become
- 31:04[SPEAKER_01]: They become someone who's ready for change.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_01]: Ready to say, you know, I know my worth and I'm gonna leave that W2.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna start this business.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to just go, just start, start scared.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_01]: Cause a lot of the nurse practitioners in my community, they are kind of scared to get into the entrepreneurship.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_01]: So that's where the 1099 contracting come in.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_01]: If you're a little scared, now just you can do the contracting and then you can transition to your virtual practice.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_00]: So, so, so, so, so talk a little bit about, so like that transition, like, like, like, like, who, who do they become, you know, once they go through that three-day program?
- 31:43[SPEAKER_01]: So, with me, I am a daughter of two immigrants, my parents are from Ghana.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: They moved here and decided to have kids and,
- 31:56[SPEAKER_01]: I was born, and I grew up in Brooklyn, and in Brownsville, the nicest of places.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_01]: And after I left high school, I decided to just change.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_01]: I needed something new.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_01]: I just knew the New York and Brooklyn wasn't where I wanted to be, and I moved to Florida and just started my life, started my nursing journey.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_01]: And it was tough, it was a lot of ups and downs, what relationships, the domestic violence I was married before, the divorce, and it was tough and I have people that say, I've been in your so strong because if the shoe was on my foot, I would already gave in.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't be where you are today, because you've been through a lot.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_00]: And so, you know, when they spend in three days with you, it's not just three days with somebody who had it easy.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's three days with somebody who has been through it, but now,
- 32:56[SPEAKER_00]: has learned how to thrive, right?
- 32:58[SPEAKER_00]: And so, would you say that the transformation, the person that they become is somebody who understands why it's always too early to quit?
- 33:11[SPEAKER_00]: Like what is the fundamental shift that they could expect at the spin-in three days or three?
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: You have to be willing to push through the madness, just push through and understand that your worth is your worth and your nurse practitioner.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_01]: I know, I know for myself, it was, it wasn't easy to go through school.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's, I, at the 10 years of school, 10 years from school and while we're going to school, things are going to happen.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_01]: People are going to pass away, divorce, you're going to have a kid, and don't let that stop you.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_01]: Just keep going because there is a light at the end of that tunnel.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and there's one thing that I, um, you know, kind of want to just like bring up, right?
- 33:59[SPEAKER_00]: Because, and you correct me if I'm wrong, is that is people who are, um,
- 34:07[SPEAKER_00]: And like I said earlier, you know, indoctrinated, right, that a lie, they only know they only know kind of working for somebody.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_00]: Some of them don't know the entrepreneur side.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_00]: And so you're saying, you know, clarify to me, you're saying that if you have afraid of entrepreneurship, you're afraid to jump out, then do the 1099.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_00]: Let.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_00]: Because if I'm, if I'm him and correctly,
- 34:30[SPEAKER_00]: Starting your own virtual practice is you being the boss.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_00]: You got to get the contracts, you got to service or find other people employees who not employees, but contractes to service them.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_00]: But if you don't want to do that, you can just hire, I mean, you could just find a contract with they are hiring you as a contractor.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_00]: And so, and so, so it really is no, I mean, I think I said,
- 34:59[SPEAKER_00]: All right, could you still work as a, like is it against the policies to work W2 and get to 99 contracts?
- 35:06[SPEAKER_01]: Nope, so you can do both.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_01]: I have some nurse practitioners who do both simply because they may need insurance, but don't let the fact that you need health insurance stop you from going to 1099 a route, which will yield you more income because there's the options for you to get private insurance, which I have that in my community for my nurse practitioners.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_01]: Private insurance, you need a accountant, you have an accountant, like I have it all set up for you where you don't even have to worry about that.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I think that's so important, which you just said, and that's the reason why you want to get them into it, right?
- 35:44[SPEAKER_00]: Because I feel like a lot of people, especially now in the A to A, a lot of people think, oh, well, I could just chat GBT, like I said, like I'm on the chat GBT, right?
- 35:54[SPEAKER_00]: All but the truth of the matter is that chat could only,
- 35:58[SPEAKER_00]: Tell me what I ask it, right, but I don't know what I don't know and so chat is not gonna be able to say well You gotta make sure about and sure like I wouldn't even have thought of nothing like that you know I'm saying But you you know you've like thought of thought of it or whatever and so that's why you have that momentum
- 36:15[SPEAKER_00]: talk a little bit about that as well.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_00]: Like are you, you know, now that you're this more time millionaire, who is, you know, making money and teaching students and things in that nature, are you just like, all right, I'm good or are you still seeking mentorship?
- 36:30[SPEAKER_00]: Do you have a mentor?
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: absolutely do have a mentor you're now your mentor should definitely have a mentor and he is amazing he actually helped me step out on faith with my culture and business and it's like every day you notice information you're making all this money you need to teach other nurse practitioners
- 36:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, you know, I'm gonna do it and I got my first few students and now we're over 300, 400 students doing exactly following the blueprint to tell you how freedom formula and I just, I love seeing the wins in the community.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_00]: Nice.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_00]: And the reason why I asked that though, too, because I think there are a lot of people like
- 37:10[SPEAKER_00]: don't realize that there is no level in which you don't need them into it like you need somebody all the time especially if you are if you have mentees like if you are helping other people there has to be this you know circulated right and you have to be poured into too because if you're if you're just the one pouring out you're gonna deplete yourself and then now you're no good for the people that you serve right because nobody's pouring it back into you
- 37:39[SPEAKER_00]: And so I love that, you know, that you have a mentor, but you're also willing to mentor people as well.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_00]: You know, in your three-day challenge, you know, and I love how you have, like your community and that community is, you know, kind of helping people thrive.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_00]: Talk a little bit about,
- 38:00[SPEAKER_00]: the commodity between students, right?
- 38:01[SPEAKER_00]: Because I think that's the other piece of it is that when people get into classes or mentors or shifts, they only focus on the mentor, but not also focus on their peers.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, what have you built inside your academy in which there's a connectivity within the people that's in there?
- 38:20[SPEAKER_01]: So my community is amazing.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_01]: I actually have other nurse practitioners.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_01]: If someone asks a question of the nurse practitioners, like, well, hey, you go here to do this.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like, everybody's helping everybody feels like a family, like a community.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_01]: So they're going to jump in answering questions for me before I get to.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_01]: And they just, they love coming to the classes.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_01]: They love engaging in the community and the events that we're having and dinners that we're having.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like I really built the family.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_01]: And they feel the same way too.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_00]: nice, nice, nice, um, five years from now, 10 years from now, like what is your ultimate goal with, you know, the virtual MP Academy, like what is, like, what is Dr. Ebony trying to build?
- 39:02[SPEAKER_01]: University.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_01]: Just teaching because they don't.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_01]: These nurse practitioners, they don't know about this.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_01]: I've had so many in the community say, well, I didn't even know I can work from home.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know anything about 1099 because I want to stay W2 because I don't want to leave, you know, my job for health insurance and I didn't know that my income could be uncapped because there's
- 39:31[SPEAKER_01]: your income is not kept.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_01]: You can see as much patients or as little patients as you want.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_00]: Right now, I know it.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like, even though you explained all this stuff, I don't see any holes just looked like a no-brainer.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_00]: Some I right now is watching as many excuses.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_00]: What would you tell that nurse practitioner who they got the credentials, they got the experience, they got the knowledge, they could build, you know, to build something, but they're still like they're afraid.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_00]: They're making excuses.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_00]: They're afraid to walk away.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_00]: What would you tell them right now?
- 40:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell them, look, what are you waiting for?
- 40:05[SPEAKER_01]: You're leaving money on the table.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_01]: You're leaving time on the table.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_01]: Don't you want to spend more time with your kids, your family, you want uncapped income?
- 40:16[SPEAKER_01]: Like you have the license.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_01]: As you went to school, now if you have a master, as you went to school, what, six years, 10 years, you did all that, right, and paid somebody else to teach you that.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_01]: because some of the MPs, 100K, depending on how much they pay for their degree, and having them can't even pay back the loans that they took out to get educated because their income is cat.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_01]: They're just stuck in this box and they think, oh, I have to only work in the clinic in the hospital, work nine to five, 12 hours, and you don't, you can work whatever hours you want.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_00]: I love that.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_00]: What is, is there any question that I didn't ask, right?
- 41:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like, so we're talking like, like, you're like, man, you know what?
- 41:09[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to leave the gems and we got all these nurses watching the show.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_00]: We got all these professionals who could potentially get in here.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted you to ask me this question.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_00]: So I could tell the audience is like, what any gems, anything I missed?
- 41:22[SPEAKER_01]: I get asked a lot, well, if I start my virtual practice, do I need a doctor?
- 41:28[SPEAKER_01]: Because, you know, we're in no expectation, do I need a doctor?
- 41:31[SPEAKER_01]: You do not need a doctor to partner with the stature practice, depending on the state that you start your practice and you incorporate your LOC, you may need a collaborating physician.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_01]: But you do not need an MD to partner with you at all.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_00]: Wow, wow.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_01]: And that is a misconception that I
- 41:48[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_00]: And so, and what are the qualifications?
- 41:53[SPEAKER_00]: And this is another question that I have for a friend.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_00]: What are the other qualifications that someone rewarding the contract is looking for, right?
- 42:04[SPEAKER_00]: So, like, let's say,
- 42:05[SPEAKER_00]: again, I have abundance, cares, nursing services, and I'm reaching out to people to say, hey, I have access to nurse practitioners, like are they besides me having licensed nurse practitioners?
- 42:20[SPEAKER_00]: Are there any other qualifies, like why would they, why would they give me, you know, a contract?
- 42:27[SPEAKER_01]: mainly because you have what they want, the nurse practitioners, because these bigger businesses, they can't see all these patients.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's like so many patients, so they hire nurse practitioners and then the more states you have as a nurse practitioner, the better, because more, more licenses equal more income.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_00]: And then, and then, and then, talk about like systems, are you using, how do you track all this?
- 42:53[SPEAKER_00]: Are you using systems to, you know, like you say, you know, you know, over 30 licenses, different states, I know there's like a lot of moving parts talking a little bit about like systems that you use to like keep yourself organized.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_01]: So in my community, I have like a license and tracker that I give them and it tracks everything and then I also provide like a 50 state guide.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_01]: So it shows them okay, so in the state of Arizona, you need to do this.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_01]: You need to get fingerprints, do a background, so it's just made simple for them because
- 43:25[SPEAKER_01]: I had to figure it out myself and do all the research and you guys don't have to do that.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_01]: Here's just laid out for you, just click on the link and it takes you to the state and you know exactly what things you need to apply for the state and get that license.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, I love that.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: I love that.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_00]: I trust so we're going to put the link in the description.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_00]: Definitely make sure you're tapping, join her for her three day experience.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_00]: in that three-day experience, like what are they going to get and why why should they join you?
- 44:00[SPEAKER_01]: So my three-day challenge you are going to learn and I'm going to break down how you get the 1099 contracts, how you get the licenses to get those 1099 contracts, and how to start going to scale your virtual practice.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_01]: So you can see patients in your pajamas at home and make up to 50K plus per month all from home.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_00]: I guess my last question, you know, and then, you know, we'll put the link in, make sure you're enjoying our last question is, you know, what is the start-up cause?
- 44:34[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_00]: So somebody wanted to, you know, I, I'm assuming 1099 is no, no, of course.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_00]: You just got to find a contract.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_00]: If I want to stop my own practice, what's the start of course?
- 44:46[SPEAKER_01]: I would say all together, less than five K to start because I teach you like what you're more systems to get.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_01]: teach you the market and piece of things, how to acquire, you know, patients without having to pay for a marketing and just to break down of everything you need on the back end before you go live.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_01]: We help with your website, build your website.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_01]: Build your whatever services because I have different nurse practitioners who are psych MPs They provide a weight loss primary care urgent care depend on what services you provide We break down on how to offer those services to your patients.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_00]: Well, well, I love that.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_00]: I love that All right, Todd, Dr. Ebony Tilary.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_00]: I need you on a tap in and people want to connect with you wickedly functions
- 45:35[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, Dr. E on the scroll, the virtual MP, um, TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_00]: All right, uh, we are closing out the vault, another awesome episode of Inside the Vault with Ash Cash, the greatest money mindset show on the planet.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_00]: Make sure I know you're not a nurse, uh, so if you're watching this, or if, I mean, obviously you got to the end of this, make sure you share this, right?
- 46:00[SPEAKER_00]: Because a lot of people, when they say they perish because of lack of knowledge.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_00]: And so now, Dr. Ebony is giving you this knowledge.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_00]: So make sure you don't keep it to yourself.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_00]: You got to circulate that knowledge.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_00]: So make sure you share this.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_00]: You tell a friend and tell a friend.
