- 0:01OK, so in this letter and you get an Amban, he's line by line
- 0:10emphasizing this concept in a beautiful way, but how his son
- 0:14should act in his language or his mindset.
- 0:19And one of the things he said was that a person should be
- 0:22humble. We've been emphasizing that for
- 0:23the last month or so. Persian be helpful, he says,
- 0:27because there are angles that one can feel arrogant.
- 0:30A person can feel arrogant from their wealth, from their
- 0:32intelligence or from the power and honor that they're already
- 0:36given by others. And he says all three, a person
- 0:38has to realize that he's all God-given talents and God-given
- 0:41gifts, whether it be wealth, intelligence, even.
- 0:44He gave us an example where a person, they go on the bottom
- 0:48where a rabbi went, was recommended to take a job and
- 0:53time of the Gemara. And he went to give that opening
- 0:56speech and no words came out of his mouth.
- 0:59And he was stunned. He's a genius or robber.
- 1:00No words came out of his mouth. And he realized that even the
- 1:03car of knowledge and the ability to speak is all a gift from God.
- 1:07So that takes away with that mindset, the arrogance.
- 1:12But the way to double down on this point and then we'll get to
- 1:14now are two points for today #1 the line that he says nimzah
- 1:19call shavalev na Macomb. Person needs to know everything
- 1:23is even equal levelled in the eyes of Hashem.
- 1:29What does that mean? Everything's levelled.
- 1:30Kiba poor mushpeel game Uber sonor magbiashifalim.
- 1:36Hashem gets angry. He can take down those who are
- 1:40gay, those who are arrogant, those who feel like they're
- 1:43great. And in His will he can lift the
- 1:46person up who's small. Hashem has the capability and
- 1:50the power to play around with this things.
- 1:53The things that make people most arrogant, God could play around
- 1:56with them in his second. The personalized unbelievable
- 1:58talent, the shanker move, it will make it make the talent
- 2:01useful, useless. The person has a lot of wealth.
- 2:04We all know what could happen there.
- 2:05The person has a lot of health, We know that too.
- 2:07So I shouldn't compete. People up and down.
- 2:09I think all the time about some people that have talents and
- 2:13then a new technological idea comes along and boom, that
- 2:18talent is useless. It's completely gone.
- 2:21All right. I think I saw a clip of they
- 2:23have an AI Barber. OK, AI Barber somewhere in the
- 2:28side of the world. You stick your head in and then
- 2:31you come out. You you put exactly the type of
- 2:33haircut you want and you come out and it's a perfect haircut.
- 2:36Is there a real is, is the video itself, doctor?
- 2:39Maybe it is. I don't know.
- 2:40But I think when you see that is, I'm sure if I'm a Barber and
- 2:44I see that, I start to sweat because in my mind I say, hey,
- 2:48this job could become obsolete one day or so.
- 2:50And that takes, you know, the guy's going to talent And he
- 2:52went to school, we went to school, didn't go to school, was
- 2:55trained by his father. He's been working on it for
- 2:57years. He's a good at it.
- 2:58He has a certain relationship with his customers.
- 3:00He does all that and then the second, sadly.
- 3:04So I just come along and gone. I'm sure there's many jobs in
- 3:07the offices that have been taking over with this mindset
- 3:09too. So that's can only be seen as a
- 3:14person, I think down that road in life because it's very
- 3:17discouraging and it's kind of upsetting, but it's a mindset to
- 3:21know there's nothing, no talent, no gift, nothing.
- 3:25And a person can say, I haven't made it in the shade.
- 3:28Oh, I was trained, I went to this schooling, I'm good to go.
- 3:32I have a certain amount of money, I'm set, I have this
- 3:35gift, I have this talent. They all can be obsolete.
- 3:38They all can be changed. A person that can be a great
- 3:40singer with a great voice and people don't like that kind of
- 3:42music anymore. It happens all the time.
- 3:45A person can be an unbelievable musician, play a certain
- 3:47instrument and people are not into that anymore.
- 3:50A person could have a great gift, be good at a certain sport
- 3:54and people don't watch that sport and therefore they don't
- 3:55get the same money. Anything you have a person
- 3:58should realize can be taken down to size.
- 4:01And when it does this, it doesn't discourage your
- 4:04confidence, it doesn't remove your feeling or feeling good
- 4:06about yourself. It just removes the mindset that
- 4:10I have on top of the world. That mindset should be taken
- 4:12down and the way they bring him a dash, it says classic Madash.
- 4:18This is a woman was a woman asked the rabbit after your God
- 4:22created the world, what does he do all day?
- 4:24What does he do all day? Well, we know Hashem recreates
- 4:28the world every day, but OK, the rabbit wanted to give the woman
- 4:31an answer and he told the woman, What my God does is that he
- 4:35takes people up and down the ladder every day, which means he
- 4:41rises the simple people, raises them up and he lowers the
- 4:46arrogant people. God is taking you up and down a
- 4:48lot every day, every single day. Some people get a big name.
- 4:52Some people their name gets ruined so they make a lot of
- 4:54money. Some do the opposite.
- 4:56Every day is bringing up and down every single day.
- 4:59That's just happening. And what's, what's the purpose
- 5:00of knowing that? The purpose of realizing that
- 5:03is, is that all the sources of what makes us feel great can go
- 5:07up and down. Here we have a term.
- 5:09We say say the gamache of the word.
- 5:10Namon of money is equal to the gamache of the word or any of
- 5:17poverty, which means Hashem. Both those things are equal in
- 5:21the eyes of God. God can be the one.
- 5:23And then they go even further on this concept.
- 5:25They give you the following. What are the words we use for
- 5:28property? Nik Hassim?
- 5:31Nik hassim is the word we use for property in the Gemara.
- 5:34Nik hassim also means Nikhsim vanish property.
- 5:40If a person doesn't realize how Hashem, Hashem, whoever he wants
- 5:43with it, that's property. What's the word we use for
- 5:46money? Zuzim, and they came out of the
- 5:49word. Zoos is the word for the coin.
- 5:53So exactly, zazim means it can move.
- 5:56Money moves, you know, we spend it very fast.
- 5:58It moves in our way, but it also moves.
- 6:00It's hilarious, by the way, because we have all these
- 6:03different matters of spending money.
- 6:04We don't even feel it in a sense, but it also moves.
- 6:07I can make it move away or bring it to a person who plays around
- 6:10with it. That's Zazim and mamon is the
- 6:15word that they use for money as well on the game, right, Ma
- 6:19morn. That's a classic term and it's a
- 6:21way of saying ma Monet. What do you count ma?
- 6:24What are you counting? What are you counting this for?
- 6:27It's not going to go with you and the rare money in a certain
- 6:29sense, the all imagination of something useful.
- 6:33What are you telling me with this and all these terms?
- 6:35Are you telling you is a person that could have it?
- 6:38It can come, it can go. The purpose of that example is,
- 6:41and one recognizes that it's all in the hands of Hashem on this
- 6:44point specifically on this point specifically, a person needs to
- 6:48know as well. And when you hear these
- 6:50concepts, it comes to wealth. The idea is if this is true that
- 6:54it can vanish. If it's true that it it has no
- 6:57use long term, all that. What do you take away?
- 6:59The second point. The second point you take away
- 7:02is it's smart to invest and invest doesn't mean invest in
- 7:06property or invest in a company and invest means make your money
- 7:10eternal. Invest means use your necasim
- 7:14and make sure they go somewhere they use for a good thing.
- 7:17A person has property and he uses it to welcome and guests.
- 7:20So he's taking his property instead of allowing it to
- 7:23vanish, he's making it eternal. A person has money and he uses
- 7:27it for charity, he uses it for donations, he uses to build
- 7:30institutions. We think OK, he's spending your
- 7:33money this way, overspending it that way.
- 7:35According to his translation, it's a matter of in God's hands
- 7:39and capable of vanishing cause God thinks he's up and down or
- 7:42investing in a way that it can never not possibly vanish.
- 7:45There is no way even for isem to take away such investments.
- 7:49So instead of being something that can vanish, it's something
- 7:52that's eternal beyond eternal. Imagine a person takes care of a
- 7:56poor family. Right now the children have food
- 7:59to eat. Now they have self-confidence.
- 8:02Now they have health, Now they have a future.
- 8:04Imagine a person takes care of its own institution.
- 8:08Now the kids are learning. Now the shul is learning how the
- 8:11people are growing and all that. And the opposite of vanishing is
- 8:16eternity. That's the mindset.
- 8:17So when I tell you these ideas that God takes things up and
- 8:20down, and I tell you this concept that these things can go
- 8:23either way, they're also telling you that do not allow that to
- 8:26happen and making sure you invest.
- 8:29That's really the mindset. That's the ultimate eternal
- 8:31mindset. And again, that also comes and
- 8:34leads to that same humility, the arrogance of a person who's well
- 8:38off was very successful as a great talent as they believe
- 8:42it's me, it's mine, it's for me. The humility of a person who has
- 8:47that but is generous as a translating saying it's not
- 8:51mine, it's not for me, it's not to build My Portfolio.
- 8:55It's rather for eternity for Hashem, for other people as part
- 9:00of the concept. So humility is key and shaping
- 9:03our mind and it's recognized in the fact that God has the ladder
- 9:06that goes up and down. Another point on this idea is
- 9:11how effective he moved. It's now they go to the next
- 9:13step. Let's take one more step of
- 9:15humility and then we'll show you an additional concept this
- 9:20Garrett and I'm Bond. He continues before telling you
- 9:22that after telling you that Hashem takes people up and down.
- 9:25He says the line left hand because God takes people before
- 9:30I before I ask your question, is that an encouraging or
- 9:33discouraging line that Hashem takes people up and down?
- 9:36That God spends his time bringing people up and down the
- 9:39ladder of life? Is that encouraging or
- 9:40discouraging? You think it's both.
- 9:44How is it encouraging? You have to keep you have to
- 9:47realize that that things change in life every day.
- 9:52You have to make sure you're always making the best of every
- 9:54moment, OK? So the way he says that is and
- 9:57that's correct. The way he says is again, he
- 10:01telling his son that I'm bond. Lower yourself first because if
- 10:07you, if you realize that Hashem takes things up and down, you
- 10:09got to be prepared. He better be ready and therefore
- 10:12you better make the first move. He writes it this way.
- 10:15Make the first move. You take yourself down because
- 10:17Hashem is basically coming after in a certain sense, Hashem is
- 10:21going to lower the arrogance to allow yourself to make that
- 10:24move, to keep yourself humble. And then I'm one.
- 10:28You'll be safe from this issue and #2 actually, the opposite
- 10:31happened. Carl will lift you up, lower
- 10:34yourself down. You're prepared.
- 10:36You're thinking ahead. You're recognizing this ladder.
- 10:39And then I shamble #1 protect you and your mood and even lift
- 10:42you up. And that's a key point.
- 10:44I always laughed at my favorite story of humility that I learned
- 10:47the hard way. You know my story.
- 10:49You know what? I'm sorry.
- 10:51I was going to. I went to ascended summertime.
- 10:55I said years ago in his speech. I went to Claude and car with my
- 10:59wife. All right, my favorite story
- 11:02exactly. I went to Glad Carte restaurant,
- 11:05Borough Park. And growing up my father had it
- 11:11sometimes Some of my siblings have it all the time.
- 11:14And my mother told me last week, you know, when your brother goes
- 11:17to a restaurant, everyone wants to pay family say ma, thank you
- 11:20very much. No one doesn't mean I'm going
- 11:22good. I went to the restaurant, my
- 11:23wife and I'm in this restaurant. The guy comes over, the owner of
- 11:27the restaurant comes over as he always does, and he goes over to
- 11:30the people to ask him how you're enjoying the meal.
- 11:32I said I'm enjoying it very much.
- 11:34He asked him my name, so the name is Haber.
- 11:38He said, oh, Haber, very nice. I listened to your brother and
- 11:41this and there's a family, beautiful, very nice.
- 11:45I go after the restaurant's over, after the we eating
- 11:47without eating. I go to get the check and I'm by
- 11:50the desk. I have to walk over to the desk
- 11:52to get the check and the owner comes running over and he says,
- 11:56wait, wait one second. So now I'm very excited.
- 11:59I told you this. I'm very excited.
- 12:01Standing there with my wife. I feel like $1,000,000.
- 12:04You know, the governor says, wait one second, I'm a rabbi.
- 12:07I must have made it. All of a sudden these things are
- 12:09going through my head. I know no one ever heard my
- 12:11classes online. But you know, who knows?
- 12:13Maybe he heard, maybe he knows. Maybe all this is going through
- 12:16my head. And when it comes running over,
- 12:18I'm thinking, I told you my father got restaurants paid for
- 12:21him, brothers did. Comes over with some of the bag
- 12:23in his hand. It's a dessert.
- 12:25He says, here, take this, give it to your brother.
- 12:28I love this person like you have another error I was about to
- 12:32say, and that was hilarious. My wife was looking at the
- 12:36greatest part of the story was my wife's face.
- 12:39Look at her like says you thought you something you
- 12:41thought, you know, here's the reality.
- 12:44And I I took it and I had it in my car.
- 12:48And the funny part of the story is the addition to the story is
- 12:50one day I had it in my fridge for a little while.
- 12:52Was it and then my wife when they says you got to get rid of
- 12:54you got to give it to Joey height gets out of the house.
- 12:57So I took her in my car. I was like Next up I'm driving
- 12:59on Bay Parkway, an Ave. P between a Parkway and and we
- 13:04down somewhere like W 7th or something.
- 13:06And how was he? I pull up the red light or every
- 13:08Joey pulls over next to me. I rolled it down the window and
- 13:11I said Joey here, take this house.
- 13:12Oh my God. And the story he used it
- 13:16already. Don't worry.
- 13:18But the point is you got to humble yourself.
- 13:19You can't let these thoughts go to your mind and go to your
- 13:23head, and they can go there in a second, and they can be undone
- 13:26in a second. What, am I out of my mind?
- 13:28Some guy in Borough Park is going to know that I'm a rabbi
- 13:30or whatever. We're crazy, right?
- 13:32These things can go there and you can go.
- 13:34Before you know it, you're on Planet 9, right?
- 13:37And a person has to keep themselves humble at all times.
- 13:41I have this trick that I've used before personally, and that I
- 13:45usually wait for one thing. Find one area where you're still
- 13:49humble. Find one area.
- 13:51Even if you feel great about yourself, come up with something
- 13:53that says you know that person doesn't know my name or that I
- 13:56messed up over there. Not to degrade yourself, but
- 14:00just to I say again, there go your wife.
- 14:01He's happy. So bring it down.
- 14:03Bring it down. Exactly right.
- 14:08And the beauty is if you do humble yourself and if you do
- 14:11carry yourself that way. And it is true, by the way, even
- 14:13though that joke hanging out with your wife, it is true.
- 14:16If a person allows themselves to become too arrogant, they kind
- 14:19of mess up their home because they're not really what they
- 14:22think they are. And then they get home and they
- 14:23have to still be the guy that takes out the garbage or
- 14:25whatever it is. Your version of that.
- 14:27If you don't actually take out the garbage, they have a good
- 14:29time for a reason. But your version of that, you
- 14:32still have to be the guy who does certain things.
- 14:34And if you allow yourself to go here, you know, how can you be
- 14:37able to, you know, give your wife a moment to speak or talk
- 14:41about little things or address the kids, all those normal
- 14:44things that you're supposed to do as a human being you want to
- 14:46allow yourself to do because you became too arrogant.
- 14:48It's beneath me. And never allow yourself ever to
- 14:52change, I think, to change what's beneath you.
- 14:54If it wasn't beneath you 10 years ago or 20 years ago, it
- 14:57shouldn't be beneath you now just because the statue has
- 15:01changed. You want to be the same guy.
- 15:03You always want to be the same guy.
- 15:04And he says these words. Lower yourself and then the
- 15:09beauty of it is Hashem will elevate you and it's a very
- 15:12encouraging concept to your phone earlier is encouraging.
- 15:14Hashem will actually build you up and if you keep yourself
- 15:17grounded, God will build you up. And that's a beautiful thing to
- 15:20know. If I want to feel good about
- 15:22myself, I would think the best movies allow these things to get
- 15:26to my head. No, the best movie is to not
- 15:28allow them to get there. Keep yourself the same way.
- 15:32And then which one of your boys is Mama's fair where you want to
- 15:38go? OK, so this is the idea.
- 15:43This is the concept. Keep yourself the same way, and
- 15:45then you'll be elevated. That's the reality.
- 15:47And it brings the classy example how she lives up the humble.
- 15:50We've always heard about Beth Shamay and Bethila here with
- 15:55them all time. Beth Shamay and Bethila, right?
- 15:59Two different schools of thought, two different yeshivas,
- 16:04we call it. And they used to discuss ideas
- 16:07and fight about ideas. And they were argued that their
- 16:11way of thinking and their way of thinking, the gemower brings
- 16:13their names many times for their arguments.
- 16:16These are classic arguments that we have.
- 16:18For example, one of the most famous ones are how to light
- 16:21them. And then should it be day one,
- 16:23one, day 2/2, day three, three, or should it be 876543212
- 16:30different respects? It's an argument of itself.
- 16:33And this is an example of beta, my beta argument.
- 16:36They're both great, unbelievably smart and intelligent.
- 16:40Hamid Hamim great men and the Guerrara tells us the Halaha is
- 16:46always like Bethelia. We always go with Bethelia.
- 16:51Why is it because they're smarter, they had greater ideas,
- 16:56greater thoughts. Doesn't say that, surprisingly,
- 17:00the the law is like Syrian rabbis because they carry
- 17:05themselves with more humility and they carry themselves in a
- 17:08softer way. That's why the law is like them.
- 17:11And they give my heads. And before they ever gave their
- 17:14own opinion, they would have mentioned Bechami's opinion.
- 17:18For us in the own Bangladesh, they would say like this.
- 17:21Bechami says this, we say that they gave the other side enough
- 17:26respect to mention their opinion.
- 17:28And because of that, Bethie Lille is the one we go with.
- 17:33Now, how does that make sense? Because they have good
- 17:35character. That's a reason to to go like
- 17:37them. So it plays into this point that
- 17:39if you humble yourself, Hashem will make you successful.
- 17:42That's clear. But it's a deeper point.
- 17:44And that is this mindset, this character trait, His approach
- 17:50allows you to be right more often than wrong.
- 17:54How does that work? When a person is this way, they
- 17:58make themselves more often right because they shave away.
- 18:03There's another beauty of humility.
- 18:04They shave with all the other factors in their mind and they
- 18:08keep themselves locked into the truth.
- 18:10You see a person's arrogant and you have an argument.
- 18:14A lot of times the ego gets in the way and you can't back down.
- 18:17You can't change his opinion, you can't hear new ideas.
- 18:20I laugh at arguments because every time someone gets into
- 18:22conversation, all they want to do 9 different ways is end up
- 18:26being right. And if that's your goal, you're
- 18:28going to end up the same place you started every time you hear
- 18:31a debate, every time you hear some sort of argument in the
- 18:34news, every time you see a conversation by the table, you
- 18:37know, they started off trying to be right.
- 18:40And have you ever seen someone actually say, oh, you know,
- 18:42you're right and wrong? It takes it takes immunity.
- 18:44And so Betty Lille, but being OK and accepting the other way of
- 18:50thinking and saying their opinion first, it displays
- 18:54humility more effective. It makes Betty Lille right
- 18:59Because if you're able to be that way, then you're able to
- 19:03eventually get the right truth out and you will be, your words
- 19:06will be accepted greater. So why was Betty Lille more
- 19:10effective than Betjamai? Why are they the ones we go
- 19:13with? Why do we let them in and out
- 19:14their way? Because they were humble.
- 19:17How does that translate your unity and your character Allows
- 19:22you to be right and allows Hashem to accept your approach
- 19:26and allows you to be right. Because when you have this
- 19:28mindset, often times you are actually more think thinking
- 19:34you're accepting more ideas and you end up with the right
- 19:36opinion. The dumbest, the silliest thing
- 19:38to do is to be a person who's holding his own an argument and
- 19:44trying to keep his ground. So you shouldn't have the
- 19:45argument in the 1st place. Don't have the conversation.
- 19:48What's the purpose of a conversation?
- 19:49And the guy's arrogant and his goal is to be right.
- 19:53There's zero purpose in that conversation.
- 19:56A debate has no use. There's no purpose to a debate
- 19:59because no one ever the purpose of a debate today is just a
- 20:03shame on the other side and he's just to hold your ground.
- 20:05That's not a real debate. The goal is to actually try to
- 20:09develop ideas officially or definitely the the purpose, you
- 20:12know, to have something called equal something on TV.
- 20:15The goal is to develop ideas, develop ideas.
- 20:20You need to actually have character, have humility.
- 20:24And if you do so, you'll be more right.
- 20:27You'll be right more often than the other guy.
- 20:29Because you infuse into your mind characterize what he's
- 20:32telling us that I'm Bond is telling his son is the ladder of
- 20:36life. It goes up and it goes down.
- 20:39God all day long is playing with this ladder, bringing people up,
- 20:43taking people down, making people famous, making them no
- 20:46longer famous, making people talented, removing the use of
- 20:50the talent, making people well off and removing that wealth,
- 20:53making people successful in areas, and they're removing that
- 20:57as well. Very discouraging, no, but
- 20:59really very encouraging because it tells us that a person should
- 21:03keep themselves at the bottom of the ladder in their mind.
- 21:07Don't allow yourself to climb because the more you climb, the
- 21:09more you fall. I believe personally that when
- 21:12people shoot up in any area of the Torah, in any area of the
- 21:15community, in any area of fame, it doesn't make a difference.
- 21:18If you shoot up too fast. It's scary.
- 21:22You want to go up step by step. Part of the term ladder means it
- 21:26should be normal, it shouldn't be crazy, it shouldn't be shot
- 21:30like a rocket ship. Because when you do, the reality
- 21:33is it comes down. It's just the way life is.
- 21:36Got some? To that point about knowing I
- 21:38shouldn't can take a person up and down at will, it could be
- 21:41discouraging. Let's say a guy is doing well,
- 21:43he's got a lot of money and Yeshiva says how about a
- 21:46donation and he's capable of doing a lot.
- 21:49But he says, you know, I shouldn't take me down next
- 21:50week. I'm not going to give so much
- 21:51now. Could could be discouraging.
- 21:53That's be very real. That guy knows.
- 21:55You're right about that. That guy knows.
- 21:56And as we've seen it a million times, he could hold out to the
- 21:59money left and right. The better chance he's going to
- 22:02remain well off if he invests in something eternal.
- 22:06Why? Because then you open up the
- 22:08door to all those concepts where Hashem says you're a good
- 22:12investment yourself. I placed the money in the right
- 22:15place because you know why I gave it to you.
- 22:17You're realizing where it came from.
- 22:19You're realizing how it works. All those avenues open up on
- 22:24this guy becomes a vehicle to deliver to other places when he
- 22:28holds on to himself, being wary of that.
- 22:31And of course, everyone has to be responsible when he holds on
- 22:34to the money in a way of being afraid that it's going to lose.
- 22:36We all know what can happen. We've all seen in a million and
- 22:391/2 times to know what happened, the best move for that
- 22:42individual, that would be the response.
- 22:44And it's not a fundraising response.
- 22:46It's a logical based on history, based on people's lives
- 22:50response. You've seen it, I've seen it.
- 22:52The guy who invests, yes, sometimes everyone has ups and
- 22:55downs. That's a reality.
- 22:56But he has MOBA in so many ways. He has MOBA on his wealth, he
- 23:01has MOBA on his family. He has MOBA with his name.
- 23:04He has MOBA on his Peace of Mind.
- 23:06Everything plays into much more beauty.
- 23:09We've seen our own community, two types of families, the ones
- 23:13that they give, but they have, it's like squeezing, you know,
- 23:15something out or the ones who really just give that ever with
- 23:20their ease. The difference in the barakah of
- 23:23their name and of their success and the ability for God to bless
- 23:26them again and again and again in different avenues is
- 23:30unbelievable. It's so simple.
- 23:32And those families, actually, they'll be the ones to tell you
- 23:34that they know, they've seen it. They are the best ambassadors of
- 23:38charity, these families, because they've seen it first hand.
- 23:41It doesn't make sense why this happened, why that happened.
- 23:44I mean, I've seen on my own level when I gave, I got a check
- 23:48last night, I opened up the mail.
- 23:50I got a check last night from some sort of random IRS thing.
- 23:54Why does IRS send me money? I don't think that's how it's
- 23:56supposed to be. I think I'm supposed to send
- 23:58them one. Why they send you money, I don't
- 24:00know. Maybe because I got a check on
- 24:04Friday. Yeah, yeah, I can find right.
- 24:08He's not $400.00 exactly. We all got 403 hundred 400, I
- 24:18got 3. It.
- 24:23Might indicate something else, by the way, getting these
- 24:25checks, I might not want to publicize that.
- 24:27But the reality is, is that we've got these checks and the
- 24:31point is that money comes. This is a class here.
- 24:33Money comes from left field all over the place.
- 24:37Smartest thing to realize that your greatest bank is God and
- 24:41the greatest source of money is God and he'll give you more if
- 24:44he sees you being a guy who does a good job with it, being a very
- 24:48good holder of the money. That's the money.
- 24:50So that's the answer, Saul, to your point and to recognize the
- 24:53ladder, accept the ladder in life that there's an up, there's
- 24:56a down. There's a lot of reasons for
- 24:57that ladder, but one of them is to encourage us to remain the
- 25:02same guy. Nothing is more endearing and a
- 25:06guy who makes it big and makes it the same and nothing is more
- 25:10but less likeable, in my opinion.
- 25:13And the person that makes it big in any area and changes his
- 25:16ways, that guy, you don't want him.
- 25:19The other guy, you love him, you want to be around him all the
- 25:21time because there's a beauty, there's a charm, there's an
- 25:23endearing, there's a humility, and there is actually an endless
- 25:28barakah that comes to that individual.
- 25:30And Saddam Bond is telling his son, lower yourself first
- 25:33because otherwise you got to be wary of the ladder.
- 25:36Keep yourself and your mind on the bottom of the ladder.
- 25:39And then I shall bless you. That'll keep rising you up.
- 25:42Stop with this.
