The heavy responsibility of pastoring
Even Charles Spurgeon—a man called "the prince of preachers"—recognized the heavy responsibility of God's call on someone to serve as a pastor.
The best resource a pastor can tap into is prayer, and I would suggest that the first person a pastor should pray for is himself. This is where my book Amen Indeed can be a huge blessing.
