  It's a lovely day today. It's sunny and there is warmth,

  but there is also cool in the air as well, which makes it

  Yeah, we we bought a good my wife's now on holidays, she's

  teacher. So holiday started yesterday.

  So today we went and bought a garden umbrella.

  Basically we had a couple of trees around the garden, mostly

  their neighbors trees, but one of them decided not to really

  have any leaves this year and we realized that's a big problem

  now with regards to shade. So we decided to invest in a

  fairly decent garden brother, which hurts the wallet, of
• 4:48
  course, but hopefully that will be amortized over 10 or 20 years

  and then it doesn't hurt as much, you know?

  I feel your pain with that tree when we bought this place.

  We've been here 11 years now just about and there was huge
• 5:01
  tree in the back garden and it's like, you know, oh, it's
• 5:04
  amazing. You know, you've got bird feet,
• 5:05
  Kang bird feeders off the squirrels running up, blah,
• 5:07
  blah, blah, blah, blah. And we've been there a couple of
• 5:10
  years and we're like, probably should get a trim back a little
• 5:13
  bit. And then the next neighbor came
• 5:14
  round a bit. Are you going to do it with the
• 5:15
  tree? I was like, steady dude that
• 5:18
  actually couldn't get you anywhere.

  But we were getting somebody around anyway.

  So the guy came around and he's like, Oh yeah, so whatever,

  whatever. He's like, oh, you have his
• 5:25
  back. Every year said these things

  grow out of my drive. Just cut it down and he's like
• 5:29
  what a bit It's well, the house insurance in the UK, if you've
• 5:32
  got a tree within 5 meters, you need to declare it.

  And this was, this was 5.3 meters away.

  And the drains for the whole Rd. go underneath the back gardens
• 5:41
  are sort of carriers like oh, this is going to the roots is
• 5:43
  going to go through the drainage system sooner or later and then
• 5:46
  we're going to have all sorts of problems.

  We just cut it down, which at the time seemed a brilliant
• 5:49
  idea, but since then the garden has been so hot.

  It's like a SE facing garden and it's just roasting.

  You need to jump through hoops now to cut a tree here, even if

  it's in your own garden on your own land.

  And if you don't ask for permission, you get.

  I know of a couple of farmers nearby that just cut trees in

  their land Willy nilly and now they're open court.

  Wow. I know it's not really relaxed

  about that here. It's still, yeah, it's still OK

  Yeah, I mean, the priority is all wrong.

  I mean, of course we need to look after the environment, but,

  you know, also people live on, you know, and then there was

  this other thing where these people were building a house and

  there was a couple of trees that they needed to cut down, that

  there weren't big trees, but there was a couple of trees that

  were needed to be taken away for the house to be built.

  And they said, OK, we'll cut those trees and then we'll plant

  like 40 trees in a piece of land.

  We have a, you know, that you can't build houses on, you know,

  and they said, no, no, that's not good enough.

  No, the trees are, they don't count unless they're inside the

  the village borders. Just red tape, you know, just

  guy with the rules and he doesn't know how to, you know,

  be flexible anymore, you know, So, yeah, I mean, that's the

  you're flexible, there can be a little bit of, you know,

  backhanders and, you know, it's a little bit corrupt to know

  when it's all like straight down the middle and it's it's even

  the Mythic Legions role-playing game is going to be unveiled as

  SDCC for coming up 23rd of July onwards.

  very excited about all yet. And the Kickstarter for that

  will be, yeah, sorry, more money than I should into that.

  Yeah, exactly. So they will, they will be

  talking about and kind of this is, you know, the public launch,

  they've obviously talked about this within the community and it
• 12:08
  was teased at Legions Con last year, etcetera.

  And they say early 2026 for the Kickstarter for that.

  So don't expect the Kickstarter now straight after SDCC.

  This is kind of the start of the, you know, getting the

  awareness out there so that when they launched the Kickstarter,

  people maybe outside the Mythic Legions community might also be

  interested in supporting it. And so this fella is of course,

  the first, you know, this is the little, the little carrot on the

  stick for us Legions collectors, you know, so that's going to be

  super exciting to see what other figures they might reveal.

  But this first guy is the heroic paladin slash cleric.

  So you can see that comes with a bunch of stuff including these

  amazing soft goods. I mean we all want to get our

  mitts on those. And the deluxe version of this

  guy comes in black and yellow SDCC colour colours with three

  total heads as you see there weapons, hands and the wired

  soft goods. And it's also going to come at

  us. So you can get this for first

  This is a custom of mine. I put this one in because this

  So it's it's a shadow elf bodies, but a combination of

  different shadow elves mixed in together.

  It's a third party head painted up and then for the shield is

  from A 112th scale different line completely.

  So again mixing stuff in and then the the shin armor there is

  actually braces from A112 figure 1/6 figure, sorry.

  So it's that whole different scales and size and everything.

  So it's just a really good all round thing.
