Lee County is launching a $14,750 study on Winifred Road to tackle speeding concerns as new homes and fresh asphalt reshape the neighborhood. Foresite Group LLC will monitor traffic for 24 hours across four zones, capturing speeds, crash data, and roadway conditions — all while school’s back in session for realistic traffic patterns. The analysis will also assess pedestrian/bike activity and visibility to determine if the speed limit should be adjusted.
