Transcript
- 0:04[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome in welcome in it is the first welcome in at December Christmas month is here holidays whatever you celebrate and the Broncos in first place in the AFC West and I think still with tidebreakers the entire AFC until the Patriots play tonight.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe still in first after that.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Nick Kendall joined by Eric trickle.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_00]: This is Broncos for breakfast.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_00]: Eric happy once again.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_00]: Victory Monday.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos now winners of nine in a row.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_00]: This season and they just find a new end.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to say excruciating, but maybe it'll look excruciating to watch a different ways to win first over time victory of the season and boy.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously,
- 0:46[SPEAKER_00]: don't love how the Broncos looked against a rather poor commander's team on the whole, but then the day you keep stacking wins and you're gonna go pretty darn far, so not here to make excuses.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_00]: How are you doing?
- 0:59[SPEAKER_00]: How was your Thanksgiving?
- 1:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm doing good.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, a little tired, even though I did actually get to bed earlier than normal last night.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_02]: And thanks, it was mostly good until the end of it, but it's all fine.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_02]: But with this, with this Broncos team, like we've mentioned it before, and I've seen a lot of people other analysts and Broncos reporter stuff say this is like, you can't keep waiting games the way the Broncos are and yet they keep doing it.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_02]: they keep finding some way to overcome whatever issues they are having.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_02]: And this one, it was questionable play all around and they just managed to make the plays when needed to walk away with the wind in it and in overtime and it's just it's
- 1:43[SPEAKER_02]: And in a sense, it's almost unbelievable with how much it's happening of them just pulling out these unlikely win after unlikely wins.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm with you, it's disappointing that they didn't go in and handle business a little bit better against.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_02]: the this commander's team, especially the defense, the offense, the commander's offense meant credit to Cliff Klink very and Marcus Mario to they just knew exactly how to attack this Broncos defense and they had no answer for it.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_02]: But as for attacking the commander's defense, this was not that it was a badly called game by Sean Payton, but this was the first game where his stubbornness really showed to where he was just calling plays that he liked and liked for his offense instead of trying to attack where the commander's really weak at barely consistently
- 2:28[SPEAKER_02]: and it led to a lot of issues with them and then, you know, still the run game that's going to be a problem penalties that's going to be a problem going forward.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_02]: It's been a problem all season both those have got to still got to try to figure out how to answer with that but with five games left it's unlikely at this point to say that they're going to find some answer for those.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we'll say to be fair to them, the final penalty count at the time.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_00]: Linus was not good on a lot of them, but five for 33 yards is, we'll take that based on, I mean, we've seen him in the hundreds multiple times that these in for yards, or, you know, seven, eight, nine, maybe in a double digit penalty game out there.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_02]: To be fair, though, with this is this is a wrapping crew that likes, let's template.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: They are the lowest penalizing referee group in the NFL.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_02]: By far.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: You can feel it.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_02]: And there was some obvious things.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_02]: And the biggest thing is like, it's just the moments of when they happen and this one is the biggest thing that you touch on.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_00]: And that's one reason I like EPA.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_00]: If you only have five penalties, but they are huge ones that put points on the board or take points off the board.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_00]: Guess what?
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to reflect EPA more than just what the count is.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: But let's say a lot of folks coming in here as we start the show again.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: Not to be too negative.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_00]: Denver 10 and 2 on the season first place in the AFC Colts drop a game.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the giants got a chance to beat up the Patriots tonight.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think we'll see it's hard.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I, again, I don't want to come in here.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like, is how the Broncos plane sustainable?
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: No, they're like, I understand we like to play the victim a little bit and they'll be like, oh, nobody respects us.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_00]: And you know what your record says you are, but Denver does have questions.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's fair.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: I think everybody in the AFC does.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: But at the same time, at some point,
- 4:11[SPEAKER_00]: He has to cross the Rubicon of like giving them credit for continuously beating teams they should and even if it feels, you know, maybe a little flukey like they keep doing it.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: We just saw the Rams travel across the country and get beat up against a very aggressively mediocre panther's team, right?
- 4:32[SPEAKER_00]: And Denver, you know, coming off the by East Coast game,
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: find it out ways to win.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_00]: That's got a count for something and you won't always count for something.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody coming in, dropping a thumbs up on the way in a heart react, all that likes, subscribe, share, and just leave in the comment.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_00]: We got David Yunk and all I want to know is what the heck the defense was supposed to do, letting the commanders off and get a third and twenty-five.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_00]: one of Vijay's worst outings.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the Mariotos planned really well.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_00]: Denver did not do very well against the run game on the whole land.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: The commanders in like a lot of key statistics third down first downs in general, the red zone.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_00]: They were like you said Eric, that tip to Clip King's barrier.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: This is one of the first times in multiple seasons.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I come out being like, yeah, Vijay lost the head to head coordinator matchup and
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: Credit to them Kingsbury has done a really good job in getting that ball at quick.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_00]: There's also a couple of matchups who want to get into that I thought were typically not see the Broncos loses thoroughly as they did, but we'll get into it.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: Do you got Jake Good morning, Broncos Country Heavy Victory Monday.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: Game was too close for comfort last night, hopefully when a few more without stress.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if that team has said that.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, has it in though?
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: They won four or five games in a row.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: One possession games was typically
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: Also, I mean, the teams end up holding hard we're at the end of the season have runs like this.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you have to stay healthy.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: You have to get it, let the ball bounce your way and those one score games are turnovers a few times.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: And right now, it seems like Denver is favoring though.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_00]: So hopefully they can take advantage of it and they're not a great team yet.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: But their record is allowing them to be a great team at some point this season.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: If they're 10 to, I wouldn't call them great, but they'll have that chance.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: Dave Glassman, good to see you.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: Football team will be the death of me.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is some of the key stats.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: Commanders three for three on third down, eight for 17 on third down.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: And that's just, that's not getting a done for what the Broncos identity is this season, but we'll get into a gatorade gaming, great to see you.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_00]: Good morning.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: What's good?
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: What's good?
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: Appreciate you coming in and saying hello.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, hey, shirt brother, shirt brother, if you if you watch that, I think you should leave skit.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: That's probably my favorite one.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_00]: The shirt brother one kills me.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_00]: So good to see a shirt brother.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: Appreciate you coming in and hope you're doing what we got James.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: Run game is very concerning with for a deep playoff run.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: That seems to be in sight.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_00]: We're not not the game I expected against the three and eight commanders team, but a win is a win.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's probably my
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: Biggest offense.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: Well, not my biggest offense to take away, but like the run game is concerning.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: Eric, they had baby one run explosive run on the night, where I think it was the day, but talk out of both sides, it was not Bade, it was McLaughlin.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_02]: It was hard.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_02]: On the first one in the game.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: There was another one later on, too, where they did a power run on like a first.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_02]: That was, that one was McLaughlin.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_00]: Go off on.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: When I will give them some credit for, so obviously the stats at the end of today, not great.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't really push the run button too hard, but 87 Russian yards on 23 Russia temps compared to 45 dropbacks.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: I, I personally don't love that.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: 3.0 yards per carry, but getting to.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: Russia's in the red zone for touch-downs for Harvey, so they do have a little bit in them, right?
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: Like those were well-blocked, well-designed, run-plays in the red zone.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: We haven't seen that so much from this Broncos team this season.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: It feels like a lot of times Sean Peyton likes to push the pass button on the, on the goal-to-go opportunities.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: But run-game, yeah, for a deep playoff run, I'm concerned.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, it's not ideal.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_02]: I would like to see on that note.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_02]: I would like to see, but they get a little bit more run as a actual running back.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_02]: He only has two carries on the season for nine yards, but.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: McLaughlin the he's barely played and he's in the what last two games he's had one good run in the rest I've been nothing RJ Harvey is now you know has the fourth lowest success rate in the NFL for running back with over 60 carries and I mean this was a more successful game for him but he only ran the Paul 13 times and he had four successful runs
- 8:35[SPEAKER_02]: you can't live with that kind of lack of consistency running the ball going forward with this team, especially when you want to make a run late and you want to secure that number one seed and you want to make a run in the playoffs.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_02]: You can't live with that on this offense because it's the way those runs came.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_02]: They explosive run by Harvey.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_02]: Well, that was a jumbo package.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_02]: You had two tight ends of fullback and an extra offensive lineman out there.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_02]: the one by McLaughlin.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_02]: Guess what?
- 8:59[SPEAKER_02]: Two tight ends of full back and I drop it to Lyman out there.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_02]: That can't be the only way you're getting explosive runs with who you have.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't know whether it's
- 9:09[SPEAKER_02]: just, you know, going even more simple with what you're calling on the, within the running game or trying to find a piece elsewhere.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they made, they made a run at Damian Pierce, but obviously he chose the canceled cheaps over them.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_02]: They gotta do something to figure it out, because it is hard to win in the playoffs.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_02]: If you don't have a running game, you can pull it back on.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I'm to say that I think on Friday, I'm not typically the make excuses for the quarterback position,
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: impotent as it has shown to be post JK Dobbins.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want it to be all on Bonyx like he's he had a good game versus commanders.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: The fourth quarter, you know, a little shot he was a reverse Bonyx yesterday.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_00]: First three quarters were pretty good in overtime good.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_00]: So he just saved it for overtime.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, overall the run game is concerning.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: Although I'm guessing there's still probably going to have to try to make a run and thought the offensive line didn't have the best game.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: pretty darn consistently.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: Now you can correct me if I'm wrong on that one, Eric, but 94 was in the backfield in the run in the past.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_00]: Fairly consistent.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_00]: Mucking things up for the Broncos.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: Quinn didn't have the best game.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: Not the best push down to down from the offensive line in general, but Lynch, you look on like he's fall starting, but hey,
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: Flaring me sounds like I'm gonna get away with it, then I guess I'm gonna glint you can do.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: But see David, the young kids back from the hospital, good to see a David.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_00]: Casey, actin' my luck, why are we acting like they lost?
- 10:37[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like we're pretty even.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's just Monday morning, kind of just do.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not ripping my shirt off here, but they won.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_00]: wins are not given the NFL.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe we should be a little bit more, you know, jazzed up for our jazzed up for Perry Quest coming in though, 27 Super Jazz and thought it took too long for a VJ to go heavy on defense to slow down their run, but win is a win.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, did you see any adjustment in there from Bands Joseph from the first half, I mean, the overall Mario to play at a great game, turning my corner and they made some tough catches down the field and a little bit of a
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it's coming off the by-week or something, but we need to tackle better.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: This was a very poor tackling game all around.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of them were felt like they were tackling with their arms down.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: Going for the big hit and not wrapping up, and there goes Rodriguez or McNickles or Maryota for an extra 5-10 yards.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: That happened six times in this game.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: Something like that.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: It was a lot.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, it was miss tackles and lack a discipline often Jonathan Cooper, you know, constantly giving up his rushing lane.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_02]: to, you know, try to get up to the quarterback and there goes Marcus Murillo to happen like three times for first down.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_02]: You can't have that.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_02]: You can't have them as tackles.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_02]: They're early in the first quarter, especially the big runs that the commanders were getting was off of missed tackles.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody hit was hitting the running back in the backfield, just not finishing the play and there they go for a six, seven, eight plus yards pretty and happened all through the first quarter.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_02]: Tackling was an issue.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_02]: Tell no who funger.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if it was a him being sick.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_02]: He was not great.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_02]: He was the fault for a lot of those misackles and then going back to talking about the penalties here that really bad penalty on what should have been, you know, the game flinching play, but it.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_02]: coming into this game one thing that I talked about on Friday Friday night, especially was all season long teams coming off the bay have looked rough this year across the NFL and Denver they came off the bay and they were looking rough and Sean Peyton coach teams typically even though he's like what I think he's like 13 and four after the bay now or something like that
- 12:51[SPEAKER_02]: they've always looked a little bit rough coming out of the by so I don't know what it is I don't know if it's the way that they structure the you know the by week and you know giving time off and stuff like that or what but there is something with Sean Peyton where his team's looked rough still managed to win and they managed to win this one but it was just a rough showing all around I don't think anyone element was apps was great all game long I think there has some good elements for most of the game but
- 13:18[SPEAKER_02]: They got just so many issues that again, even in the win and it's great that they want.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_02]: They needed this win.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_02]: They're in a position where they control their own fate.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_02]: They just got to keep winning games.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_02]: They got to figure out these issues going forward and you would hope that coming off a by week, you wouldn't take a step back so to speak with where some of those issues were coming into the by week and coming into the game.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_00]: Again, at the end of the day, the commander said it by week as well, and they gave the Broncos a heck of a run, but Denver did enough to win.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: So shout out to them, they didn't lose the turnover battle, and the defense playing maybe there, second worst game of the season, third worst game of the season, feels like in every single game where the defense has struggled.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's been...
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: Benito having a very tough matchup, and that's going to happen sometimes, but I've always said the defense goes as PS2 goes, but maybe it goes as Benito goes because when he gets somewhat blanked out from the past rush department against a great tackle, whether it be Joel week three, whether it be obviously you had Andrew Thomas and the giant's game, and then this one, I don't know if you notice at the end.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think the landry tonsils was having being so good in his matchup, they flipped Benito to the right tackle a lot in the fourth quarter over time, which is not typical of them to do.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: They like to have him.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_02]: It's been more typical over the last few weeks, though.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's been almost an even split with Benito on both sides.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_00]: Really?
- 14:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'll have to go back and watch that because I felt like they didn't have that much on the lot of key downs.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_00]: It was him over the left tackle and tonsils was winning the matchup and tonsils, you
- 14:56[SPEAKER_00]: lot of penalties, but a very good player all in all.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: But Perry, thank you so much for the $27 super chat.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: Very, very generous.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: Hope you had a good Thanksgiving.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_00]: Appreciate you.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_00]: And yet, Denver did enough in the end, but the, I mean, really a lot of it is like tackled, right?
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I just feel like there's a lot of leak yardage on this one.
- 15:14[UNKNOWN]: And
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: VJ definitely had his number, a cliff head VJ's number for a lot of the game.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_00]: David Cromwell, who says the fact the problem was barely got by against another lesser opponent, tells me the only one, one more game down the stretch.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think?
- 15:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think that there's still playing, let's say that the 50, 50, you know, one score game stuff comes in to, comes into play here.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe they go 500 down the stretch.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they will.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: I think the defense despite what we saw in this last game is still too good to do that.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: But only when one game down the stretch would be catastrophic and again, Denver, even their losses this season have been heartbreaker or one score last play of the game stuff.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: So winning one down the stretch, I think, is far fetched at it.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_00]: I know you like to be negative on the Broncos prospects, but I don't think that's.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm barring injury, I think worst case you're talking 500 down the stretch, but I would bet better than that.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think at worst they don't especially go three and two, just because one of them is you never know what's going to the case is going to be for that maybe maybe two and three I guess is you know to it I should say because that final game that fifth game of it we don't know what the status is going to be and against the chargers maybe it's a game where Denver decides to rest some of their starters because they have the number one seed Clint clenched up by that point or
- 16:34[SPEAKER_02]: you know, they're the clenched as a second seed or whatever the case may be.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_02]: It may be sufficient of the rest of the starters and the charges may need that game to execute the play as well.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_02]: Don't know, but I think between, you know, over the next four games, I think at worst, they're going to into whether it's, you know, feeding the chiefs and the raiders and losing to the jaguars and the packers or other way around or whatever.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_02]: I think they go two and two at least over the next four.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it's, I understand it's, they just struggle to beat a bad team in the commanders.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_02]: But any given Sunday, first of all, we just saw the Panthers beat the Rams, does that mean the Rams are now going to struggle down the stretch?
- 17:17[SPEAKER_02]: Probably not, some teams just have those bad games.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_02]: I think that will start to see the Broncos, hopefully anyways, bounce back a little bit.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_02]: I think the defense especially will, you know.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_02]: go back more towards what we've seen them typically, although it is a bit of concerning that the commanders may have put out the blueprint and how to move the ball effectively against his defense and some ventures have to go and find answers for it.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_02]: But if they lose one game down the stretch, I would bet that they got beat up, but they lost a couple key players to injury,
- 17:48[SPEAKER_02]: And just, you know, it's not the team that took the field against the commanders is taking the field regularly throughout over the last five games because of injury.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_02]: That's that's the only way I see one when happening.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I wanted a time.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_00]: None of the Raiders are.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_00]: bad team, but Denver, you know, plays somebody said in here, plays down to their competition and feels like a lot.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_00]: So division games, who knows?
- 18:11[SPEAKER_00]: A shy little good to see a good morning, everyone.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_00]: Also for Benito having the tough time as a past rusher, do you want to give, did you want to give credit in people in the chat to hold me to it as well for that last play?
- 18:20[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, was it Eccler or whoever it wouldn't make nickels?
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: I think Eccler was out.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_00]: Why'd open on that drag there and
- 18:28[SPEAKER_00]: Benito made a play and the Broncos win the game because of that.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_00]: So shout out to him.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: It did the big thing when it mattered.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: So, but he had in the past Russian general had a not a very good game from the Broncos and that's been the best thing this team has going for at this season.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's been the identity of the team and when they aren't, you know, creating as much pressure or the
- 18:50[SPEAKER_00]: have a place of this axe, could be hits and everything.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_00]: Defensive look is good.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_00]: Purser tan, coming back, look a little rusty.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_00]: Shout out to Moss until that last play, I thought, I mean, that one touched down.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: What are you even gonna do?
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: God bless, it's a good luck man.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, AIDS.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_00]: No matter what he does, he gets posturized.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like I feel bad for him at this point.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: But that blast play on that, the overtime or the fourth quarter, whatever it was, that was bad.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_00]: But other than that, I thought you had an okay game.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_00]: We got M1, ST4, J, come in and say, I understand the issues.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_00]: I really don't think it's downgrading like this.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_00]: The commander's played a hell of a game, plus our pass for us, we're held pretty much, we're held so,
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: much with no calls.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't see too much obvious hold.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think there were a few here there, but I think the Broncos had some too.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_00]: I think some like questionable like that one, I'm like holding your fist tight.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_00]: Is that a P.I.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_00]: or the flag coming out?
- 19:41[SPEAKER_00]: No, okay.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, it's I felt like the the bref in wasn't egregious.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_00]: And you mentioned Eric the timing of the Broncos penalties was bad.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_00]: The commanders, well, Denver only had five penalties.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_00]: Three of them gave first, first downs on the day.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 19:55[SPEAKER_00]: Gotta figure some of that stuff out, but, again, no excuses.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_00]: A win is a win is a win.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: You've won nine in a row, and it's hard to win in the NFL.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_00]: And shout out to Sean Payton.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think the media at large will give the Broncos credit for winning the games.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_00]: They're supposed to, but they keep doing it.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_00]: So, I mean, accounts for something, right?
- 20:15[SPEAKER_00]: Like even the sample size is starting to get large enough now.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_00]: And maybe it all comes crashing back down the next game or next season, but for now, you're freaking 10 into.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, with with the referee, I don't think, I mean, there was miss calls on both sides on the, you know, over time touched on by the commanders, there was a missed offensive past interference call on the fortunately in Benito, blew it up, so it didn't come become an impact on it, but there was a very gracious and obvious past interference off the pick to get
- 20:55[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and then holding, it wasn't, so it wasn't bad.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_02]: Like there was a couple of Miss calls on Bullsides of it.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_02]: I think the most egregious Miss holding call was on the Broncos and I'm pretty sure it was Alex Pacheski might have been Garrett Bulls, but they basically, like horse colored yanked the defensive linemen when you're trying to turn with the play.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_02]: And, uh,
- 21:16[SPEAKER_02]: It was, it's it's again going back to what I was saying earlier about the with the penalty see with this refing crew They like to let them play and I have no issues with that.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously there's times where it's like, okay, this was a a pretty big impact on the play That's something that they really like to go for that's why there's so a few penalties Typically with them and there's a couple of them and I was like, okay, that had a big impact on the play throw the flag on that one And then there's a couple times where they do the flag with the impact wasn't super major on the play
- 21:44[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but it is what it is, I think overall this was probably one of the more balanced games in terms of the wrapping, uh, for the, that the purpose of play this season and not simply because they only got qualified penalties, but it was just when they decided to let them play and, you know, all the penalties they called except for like one on the commanders was really obvious.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_02]: I don't get the fall start illegal formation one on Mcwarr there late in the game.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_00]: You may, and you hope the Broncos defense plays better in this going forward.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_00]: What was it, 3rd and 25, or 2nd and 25, and they end up getting the first down on a 4th down, going 3-3 on 4th down, 3-5 in the red zone, luckily the defense is baseline this season, as so much better in this week, should expect better play, and they have a get-right game coming up, fortunately against a, let's just call it what it is, a...
- 22:36[SPEAKER_00]: Division two caliber, you know, lower Premier League or not the Premier League, whatever it is, Bellagated soccer teams leagues, but the Raiders offensive line is the worst or football.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think we can say that pretty, pretty definitively.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_00]: So get right game for the defense coming up here as long as you can
- 22:54[SPEAKER_00]: blank out blockbours, which is easier said than done, of course, but with the offense playing the way it has the last two weeks for the most part, I think that's fine.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, some of the offensive statistics too, like the overall count numbers are great, but the commanders ran how many plays do we have in this one for the commanders?
- 23:12[SPEAKER_00]: 85 plays to the Broncos 69.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_00]: So I mean, gosh, almost 20 more plays for the commanders in this one.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_00]: That's not a Broncos issue per say.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_00]: That's a that's a defense issue on this one and to Geron's point.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_00]: Boenix did throw the terrible interception and I mean, you guys, if you've listened to me long enough, you know that I am not a Boenix, you know.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_00]: Panderer by any means, but that's I'm glad we don't have to be sitting here talking about that one bad play because I thought for the boat for the most part, bone explained a pretty good game.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_00]: I did was he escaped in the pocket a little too early on some of them missing some plays.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think so.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_00]: Chris Collins worth pointed out one very early the not easy first down guy wide open he's boot into the right and hit in the the check down so.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_00]: have to go back and watch the all 22 and see you know guys that are open if he's bailing when just before giving up on the pattern but overall i thought he had a pretty good game and he made some pretty immaculate thursday as well that touchdown was incredible um so i don't i know some people said ma homes in don't compare my quarterback to that demon uh by any means please but that no yeah bonex had a a b plus game was he out there like you know super star super
- 24:22[SPEAKER_00]: No, that's not all on him.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_00]: Also, you know, the weapons that you also need your weapons and everything getting that open down field for that, but I thought he played another very good game and that's stacking two in a row, which is what we've been asking for on here for, I mean, since he was first game is rookie, stack multiple games in a row.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, it was, it was a rough fourth quarter from him, but I mean, it was a rough fourth quarter from the offensive in general.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_02]: But he, again, as you said, he had a really good game.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_02]: This was probably one of the better games he's had this season where things weren't going perfectly all around.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, so that's taken out the bangles and the Cowboys game or just everything was clicking.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_02]: The run game was going like this was one where the offense had to go.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_02]: Be it go through the air and he was able to handle that pressure.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_02]: Couple plays.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the Interceptional is one.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_02]: There was a couple of times, as you said, where you bailed the pocket early, the one where it was a, I believe it was a screen that they were setting up.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_02]: And he just decides to go with the screen instead of hitting Pat Brian over the middle.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_02]: There was another throw where he just stared down the receiver.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_02]: Unfortunately, the defender wasn't able to make a full play on the ball, but was able to break it up.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_02]: So there was still some rough moments, but
- 25:31[SPEAKER_02]: This is one of those games where you know, as you said, stack and get good game after a good game.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_02]: So what he did, you know, still room for improvement and just got to keep focusing on getting to the steps, but this isn't a game where you look at the offense and think, man, Bo next is part of the reason why they were so rough.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_02]: It just wasn't one of those games.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_02]: He was one of the, one of the bright spots with his offense where there weren't a whole lot of them throughout the game.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, I know that Sean Peyton.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_00]: Especially in this game started to use the past game to substitute the run game because the run game wasn't really finding down to down footing, but I hate the splits of 45 drop backs to 23 rush attempts.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_00]: Now I'm okay, you know, every once in a while, especially if you're playing from behind, but for the most of the game, the Broncos were in the lead.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's, I'd rather be closer to a 55 45 kind of split, but
- 26:24[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it is what it is in the end.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_00]: You got to call with what's going on and right now the run game is struggling some, of course, but doing enough.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_00]: And it was good to see Bonix utilizes legs.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_00]: a few times, but very efficiently.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I like, you know, to only two rush attempts, but that run for 11 yards that he got retucked up the middle.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: Good game for him, and he looks spray and a good athlete.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_00]: And I know that everybody's been calling for Bonix for one more.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_00]: I like it more as a great glass in case of emergency.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_00]: I don't need him getting CJ Strouded, who missed it for five games with the concussion.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_00]: Every time you run, you put yourself out there.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_00]: I know it's football at the end of the day, but,
- 27:00[SPEAKER_00]: break glass in case of emergency if you can for me.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_00]: We got Lord deers and hate the negativity.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's coming from us.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry, Lord.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it is a win.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_00]: We're just going through right now.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like we're pretty even.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if it's even negativity.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_00]: But we're not saying the terrible.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's just...
- 27:15[SPEAKER_00]: Defense set it down game, good to see a Kingsbury had a good game for this one.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, no, Denver, Denver looked a little rusty, but they got it done in the end.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_00]: And we've said it on the show a lot of times, Eric.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, if Denver comes out of this game with a lot to work on and on tape and review, but it's a lot better to do on a flight home, happy flight, if you will.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_00]: And coming back to the facilities today tomorrow and seeing the tape on a win.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_00]: Every single Super Bowl team has had survival games.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_00]: You can go back to 2015 with a Broncos survived on the road against Cleveland, who I think had the worst team in football that season, the chiefs last year.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_00]: I know they got throttle in the AFC, but how many games are they surviving against mediocre teams?
- 28:04[SPEAKER_00]: You need games like you need the ball to bounce your way into win games like this for it to be a special season.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_00]: And so far for the Broncos, it's set up that way for this to be a special season.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_00]: But they got things to work on to beat the upper echelon teams.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_00]: Sidebarther is an upper echelon team and they have to see the season.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't think there is like it's just it is a weird year in the NFL.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's a weird year in the AFC especially and one of those things and it's something that we've talked about on before is those one score games.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we talked about the chief slasher and the year before they were what 12 and 1 in 13
- 28:39[SPEAKER_02]: one score games there for a while, spending it in the next season, and they're what over six this year, over seven one the one one that cold scale was one score.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, I forgot about the cold team.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, they have that one one score game one, whereas the Broncos there, you know, have all those wins in the one score game with those two losses.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_02]: So it's.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes that's all it comes out to you just got to you got to survive.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_02]: We got to eat out those winds and sometimes it's you got to get through the regular season and then you just can are able to turn things up in the playoffs and hopefully that's Embrake if they want to get to that point though they have to work on those things and work on you know get that running game work on the penalties find that consistency with offense
- 29:27[SPEAKER_02]: As soon as the commanders got that the ball in over time, I just knew that they're going to go down the field and there's going to score a touchdown and whether they went for two or not at that point.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_02]: I wasn't sure.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_02]: I felt that going for two was the right call.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's what they did, but it was just so obvious how exhausted the Broncos defense was there was a point where they showed Zach Allen hands on this hips slightly bent over and he was just
- 29:52[SPEAKER_02]: even hard.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_02]: And then for wasn't able to generate much pressure upfront because the past was just re tied.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_02]: They were just exhausted.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_02]: So you got to be able to stay and drive on it.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_02]: And one thing going back to what the that comment was with the Kingsbury face and the defense.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not buying that because this isn't the defense franchise that was running in Arizona.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_02]: It is extremely different from what he was doing there.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_02]: And part of that is because of the talent that he has.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_02]: He wasn't able to do a lot with the coverages and the looks up front because he didn't have the players that here in Denver that he or that he hasn't ever.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't have the minirazona.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's nowhere near the same defense.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_02]: And if you go back and watch franchises, defense when he was defense coordinator in Arizona to what he's doing now, they are
- 30:34[SPEAKER_02]: almost polar opposites.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_02]: He was still very aggressive with blitzing, but it just what the in terms of coverage usage isn't stuff like that, very different almost night and day.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we got Denver Luke coming with a coffee emoji.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_00]: Before we started the show, I hadn't even had any coffee in my system yet.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_00]: So shout out to you, Eric, we're going to get you drink coffee here pretty soon.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_00]: I feel it's coming.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you're going to have to be a white monster guy or something.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_00]: David Young can come in and Eric, what do you think the offseason
- 31:01[SPEAKER_00]: card in me.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'll sit back.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_00]: I definitely, I felt myself early in the show where I was like on a five minute diet tribe.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_00]: So go ahead or what do you think about the off season?
- 31:08[SPEAKER_02]: I think Denver is going to be very aggressive looking for another offensive weapon or two.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_02]: I think that that's going to be their aggressiveness is going to be focused on tight end, even though Evan Ingram finally made that impact that we had all hoped for.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_02]: Minus those couple drops early on in the game.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_02]: So I still didn't want to add a tight end.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_02]: I think they want to add somebody with a little bit more versatility at tight end, who can line up in line and upgrade over Adam Troutman and Neatkins and regulate Neatkins at third tight end spot.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_02]: And then why do receiver?
- 31:37[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're going to be very aggressive trying to go get another guy to upgrade that number two spot.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_02]: And regulate Troy Franklin's Marvin Mimbs Pat Bryant to that third, fourth, fifth spot.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_02]: And Mimbs being more so bad.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_02]: Fifth guy with specific usage on it.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't be surprised if they start looking at running back, but I think it's going to be a very offensive focused off season with adding just key players at key spots on the defense just because, well, if extended almost everybody, then you do on the defense side of the ball.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_02]: So a couple of holes, you're going to be making one by letting John Frank and Myers walk, so you got to get in the answer there.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_02]: I think that they'll look at a one year cheaper deal.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_02]: And hope that Savione Jones takes that leap to start in 2027.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_02]: They take starts taking that leap in 2026.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe they add somebody else on the draft to start rotating that talent on the defensive line, which is always a smart thing to do.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_02]: And then line backer, but it's gonna, I think it's gonna be very offensive focus.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_02]: And on that note, I think with what we saw from Pacheski, I think it's very clear that they should not cut bad powers.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_02]: Pacheski was awful.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_02]: Pachaski was the culprit of that most of the time.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I know I beat Quinn a few times that it feels like it's loud when it's Quinn because you don't expect it.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like, man, not used to that so.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_02]: There was one.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_00]: There was one.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_02]: They're looking around like, Pachaski, there's one player where Pachaski is just like.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_02]: And I just couldn't help it laugh.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_02]: Like it was a bad play from Pachaski.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_02]: And you just got beaten.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's all like pains like a fast defender.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_02]: Like he's a bigger dude.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_02]: And he just ran right by Pachaski.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_02]: Just crosses face to get into the backfield.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_00]: Now, yeah, absolutely.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_00]: Pearl says she's drinking her coffee now.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_00]: Palchetski, yeah, not.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's been admirable holding on.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's a very valuable sixth seventh.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_00]: I won't make the joke.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_00]: Offensive linemen there for the bra.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't even, that wasn't even meant to be set up.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_00]: It just came out.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, as a starter,
- 33:40[SPEAKER_00]: What we're seeing right now is this is probably optimal rule, right?
- 33:42[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's like, yeah, we, you're competent up the right now, like we're getting by and hopefully not to have you as a full-time starter if they did, it would be something where you probably brought in a cheap veteran to compete with them and made then you have an option to go there in the draft as well, which you can, you can do.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_00]: So go to see a fine anger pick.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_00]: I want to take the bait and I want to ericker.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_00]: Dylan to leave.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_00]: We got Pearl in the house.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if I already said hello to Pearl.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_00]: Good to see you and you brought on something So not all negatives in this one.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_00]: Of course.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: I want to highlight the guys who stood out in this one while not a overly big stat sheet game again Another reason that I like EPA.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_00]: I thought we had some big time catches from Portland Sutton this one.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_00]: So five for 62 and a touchdown is not a
- 34:26[SPEAKER_00]: Amazing bottom line my count statistics, but like every single one of those catches felt like it was third down Red zone big down the field where they absolutely needed it and he showed up and did it and have an ingram too Finishes the day statistically six receptions on nine targets for 79 yards I feel like they started over three and it was like three kind of like not great throws from bone X But one's at like Evan
- 34:50[SPEAKER_00]: Come on buddy like pull that anywhere number one.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_00]: I get has to stand for something out there.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_00]: I was watching the game my buddy's like, why is he wearing one?
- 34:56[SPEAKER_00]: Doesn't that mean anything anymore?
- 34:58[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like,
- 34:59[SPEAKER_00]: Ice, I don't know, right now it's we're a 50 50 on if he's going to, you know, even be back next season given his cost and how little impact he has, but after that, if I'm right about him going over three to start he goes six for six 79 yards a couple really key contributions and that one where they he cooked Bobby Wagner in space and then looked like a freaking throw bit throw throw bread running down the scene we've been missing that so much the.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_00]: They tried for Yack in this offense.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_00]: It just hasn't necessarily been there in the short game.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_00]: We've seen it maybe something.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_00]: They tried in the screen game, but not necessarily the short game over the middle of the field.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_00]: That was beautiful.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_00]: So shout out to Evan Ingram.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_00]: I was very discouraged after the go on three started.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_00]: I know I've tweeted out shout out to him that last drive in the first quarter where he was big, thinking three receptions in that one, and bouncing back because they needed him, obviously, in this game.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, it was great to see him and not just him, I'm going to give a shout out to Adam Trottman as well.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_00]: Whoa, hold the phones.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, if you want to talk about making some clutch catches, I think both of his or all three of his are going to be on the head to a three were pretty.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_02]: Clutch catches like needed.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_02]: I think all of them went for a first down or one of them may have set them up for a shorter third down, but he came a big and he came up big as a blocker too.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's the big thing is he's there to be a blocking tight end.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_02]: And he's been got awful up into this point.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_02]: And this was one game where they had issues running the ball.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but it's the first one where it's like those aren't issues running the ball weren't strictly on Adam,
- 36:33[SPEAKER_02]: had to be him and then, man, no one deserves, you know, the bigger had kept in Alex, England, not just for coming back after, you know, the right surgery, and then the big play that he made to break up the past, like,
- 36:48[SPEAKER_02]: man it was great and you know he was another one where early in the season where I kept we kept ragging on him a lot he really started bounce back I think around the Eagles game and he's just been you know showing that improvement and you know getting better maybe it was you know coming back from the injury that he was just you know that took him a while to shake off that rust or what
- 37:08[SPEAKER_02]: but his the negative impact that he was having especially in coverage hasn't been felt as much or as in as big of ways and then he comes up and makes that that beautiful play to break up the ball in, you know,
- 37:37[SPEAKER_02]: highlighted because, man, they were just beautifully done by Singleton Moss answer team.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, shout out to them, amazing, overall.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, you're right.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_00]: I definitely, I guess, began watching with the buddy last night.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, oh, singleton, player of the game.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, that breakup.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he was close on a few as well.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_00]: And sometimes just the nature of it, like, especially with Mario to hitting that, like, second layer, middle of the field shot.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_00]: Like you see the linebacker, like, turning back, I said, oh, what the heck linebacker?
- 38:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, I don't know, man, he hit the whole shot.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_00]: Like, they're getting paid, too.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_00]: It was a good scheme and good design.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_00]: The offense according to your seem to know, like, oh, I guess they're calling this coverage on this one, as long as our whole past rush can our past blockers can hold up.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_00]: We got time happened rather continuously in this one, unfortunately.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_00]: So hopefully the Broncos can figure out some things here and again, come out of this game, run game, still a question mark.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_00]: defense who knows, but he come out with a win against shout out the will.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_00]: Let's also, you know, again, another perfect game from him.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_00]: And you did enough to win, hold on survive, evaluate, and keep stacking.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I mean, think about how ugly, beginning that the Titans week one was the Jets that got the monstrosity that was that Jets game.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_00]: We're not even through the season yet, and those
- 38:58[SPEAKER_00]: kind of faint fuzzy memories, especially for NFL RG.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe not as much for us because we're psychopaths who live in breathe by this team, but overall it's like, oh, then was 10 and 2.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_00]: Do you remember the jet's game?
- 39:10[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, that was an ugly one.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_00]: Time passes, your record stands.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_00]: You still get that dub, doesn't matter if it's ugly or not.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_00]: So is it sustainable or fixed in the findout or fixed in the findout?
- 39:21[SPEAKER_00]: We are going to start wrapping up your pretty soon.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks you.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Eric, for calling out Alex Singleton as well.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_00]: I also wanted to call out Jelil McLaughlin.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_00]: All right, not Jelil, Jelil.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_00]: Jelil McLaughlin.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, as soon as I said, I don't know, wrong.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_00]: JM, of course.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_00]: He had an awesome game in this one.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_00]: I thought he was pretty good overall in run defense, and he had some really good coverage as well.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_00]: And that slot spot, because it's a two-way go, it's pretty hard.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_00]: Now granted, it's hard on the boundary as well, but Denver plays as much single-high man as they do.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_00]: Why does it must have helped?
- 39:53[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they're playing cover one.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_00]: He's not going to have help sometimes.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_00]: But I thought, J. Mac had a heck of a game as well.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_00]: So he deserved a shot.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't have the biggest hit of the day.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_00]: That goes to,
- 40:04[SPEAKER_00]: Gosh, who was it?
- 40:07[SPEAKER_00]: Sanctuary still, on the other side, did that big one on the day that was incredible, but the, yeah, J-Mac had a heck of a game.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, it was great.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's been probably the best corner for the Broncos.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_02]: So far, the season, he's just been, you know, continues to show, you know, improvements every single week and getting better, where is that?
- 40:31[SPEAKER_02]: And when you look at what he did last year, where there were some very obvious ways that you could attack McMillan, you know, he had such an issue with,
- 40:40[SPEAKER_02]: how double moves, especially where, you know, they would get a movement to his left, the offensive right, and then they'd cut back.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_02]: He's really struggle with flipping his hips and turning with that in this year.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_02]: He, it seems like he really put the focus in and work and do improving that and he has had tip to him.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he's just gotten so much better and, you know, message
- 41:06[SPEAKER_02]: that you know his spot was that risk and he took it the heart and he improved and another one he didn't make a lot of plays but I want to give a shout out to who was a riquei he came in and made a big play late in the game for this defense ended up not matter because I think it was the over time touchdown drive that they had
- 41:25[SPEAKER_02]: But it's still mattered in the fact that it's send a message and plays like that can hype up the defense and give them that energy, especially when they're so drained at that point.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_02]: And man, it was nice to see them be able to rotate the defensive linemen when they're so down and exhausted and have that reserve guy, your fifth guy on the line, come in and make a play.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and a do see coach Chris coming in and say a fungalic to awful last night.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_00]: I know you mentioned it as well.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_00]: I felt like he was pretty freaking awesome in the first half, but there was loud misses for him.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he does lead the team in tackles.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_00]: And this one, which I know is like, you know, not always the best indicator, but 10 solo from your safety.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's not exactly what you want.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_00]: And two tackles for loss from your safety as well.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_00]: So he had some big splashways.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think past couple of past defenses in the red zone as well.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_00]: Again, there was a few misses here there.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_00]: That penalty where he got there late.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'd rather not even have a chance to get that DPI because you're.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_00]: defensive linemen take down the quarterback, please.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody tackle, please.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_00]: But overall, it's not bad.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_00]: I come away on the defense and my biggest two issues in this game for the Broncos in general, the offensive run game and the defensive run game, not their best game, just some of the advanced stats.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_00]: They get to 0.09 rush for EPA, which is like 80th percentile on all rushes in this one.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_00]: So Denver didn't do very well.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_00]: And 30% of their runs went for first
- 42:50[SPEAKER_00]: number.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_00]: And why was Denver's past, past Rush, not able to pin your ears back?
- 42:55[SPEAKER_00]: We did have some tackles for loss, but I feel like Marriota, you know, extending plays with his legs and picking up first downs with his legs and just in general, there was not enough not as many chances to tee off because they were running the ball so darn effectively.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, again, the basic stats not as good in my opinion, but 143 yards, giving up over four yards a clip on 33 rush attempts.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_00]: got to get off the field.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_00]: You got to do your vegetables on early downs and against the run in general and do better in that wasn't necessarily the case on this one.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_00]: I maybe you can point out something schematically as well.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't in the first watch, you know, watching it in a social setting versus, you know, in the lab by myself, don't bother me.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm locked in, uh, but the miss tackling.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_00]: I just keep coming back to that as well.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_00]: That was that was very frustrating.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_00]: I felt very bills-esque.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, where Denver was, you know, meeting the guy or kind of bad tackle attempt and then, oh, bounced off.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_00]: There's
- 43:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean with who found I think the best way to sum up his game was boomer bust like hey there's making the big play or he was, you know, missing the tackle out of position or, you know, the penalties like boomer busts the best way for him.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_02]: But as for what the,
- 44:04[SPEAKER_02]: Commanders are doing they they negated the Broncos pass rush completely because of you know the quicker passing game They weren't able to tear off on it and then you had the fact that they were there's a couple times where you know I'm a pilot mentioned it earlier Jonathan Cooper He was going like he was doing a stunt or a twist and leaving that Elaine open for it.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_02]: So when they did generate pressure
- 44:24[SPEAKER_02]: They gave that opening for Mario to escape out of it.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_02]: They did get what two sacks on him.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_02]: I think is what it was.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe three and so they got their hit.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_02]: They got and they got plenty of other hits.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_02]: I mean that intersection played.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he was Zach Allen was right there in his chest and jumped.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, he did jump shot.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so they just did everything they could to negate the, you know, the teeth of this defense, which is that defensive front with the running game and had tip to Chris Rodriguez, man, his contact balance is absolutely insane and he's able to really bounce off of defenders and go make plays and that was, you know, part of it.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_02]: They're offensive wine.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_02]: They have four good pieces on their offensive wine and Jerry still out on Josh Connelly who, man, he was,
- 45:12[SPEAKER_02]: consistently beaten, I mean, going back to Jonathan Cooper, I mean, if you
- 45:18[SPEAKER_02]: He was beating confidently consistently as a passbusher and that led to the overconfidence, the over extending himself against the Ron for Mario to.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_02]: So there was just a lot that they did and you know, I don't, it was mentioned earlier about and he mentioned that Cliff King's very really out with Coach Banchos of which I don't disagree with, but I think this is one where you could really look at that what the defense was doing and what the commanders were doing and highlight one player specifically pretty consistently.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_02]: as a culprit for some of the big plays for it and it was Cooper and this was man, talk about boomer boss man.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_02]: He had some big plays on Connelly, but just the lack of discipline from him, which is not typical from Cooper, was hard to see and very blatant against the commanders.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_00]: Well, big news for Denver is that they've got the first seed right now and the giants are going to be a tough match up for the Patriots tonight in Denver, finding new excruciating ways to win sometime.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_00]: So it's still, you know, party vibe and you've got to have games like this and nobody should make excuses for when's at the end of the day if somebody wants to, you know, question Denver, let them.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's fair to have some questions about them, but I think you should have questions about every single freaking afc team.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody has got to come out of it and
- 46:34[SPEAKER_00]: Denver's playing majority of their games at home with the defense the way it is and the offensive the way it is and Sean Payton as well.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_00]: I mean you stack those three things you got a chance in this AFC without an overwhelming team.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_00]: So Denver sitting there 10 into it is great and again an outlier game for this one for the Broncos defense.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about the red zone.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_00]: The third down as well shout out to rbsdm.com.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_00]: They do a
- 46:57[SPEAKER_00]: advanced statistics game log and everyone.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_00]: Broncos have been one of the best third down their fourth down teams in all football this season.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_00]: They had one of the worst games anybody's had all season on third and fourth down.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_00]: The commanders were 100% first down success rate.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_00]: Our excuse me, first down rate in late down, third and fourth down runs.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_00]: Shazamirio does legs on that.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_00]: And even the past game as well, it really, really successful.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_00]: third and fourth down run they were getting a point almost every time over a point every time they ran the ball so I think Denver will figure something out with that they've been so good against running quarterback this season in general it was a little surprising to see them do that I'd surprise the cage rush didn't work as well from this one.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it's a, it's turn on being sub-doubt issue.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, but they got time to look at the tape and figure it out.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_00]: And again, at the end of the day, a win is a win.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_00]: You keep stacking them.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_00]: Do we want to see Denver play better and answer some questions that we still have?
- 47:58[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_00]: But you got the win.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_00]: and Bonax played good football.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_00]: Great, I don't know if I'd say great, had great plays, but Bonax played good football.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_00]: He was very much a reason that you won this one.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_00]: So feeling good about it on the whole, even if the results against a poor team don't show much confidence, accounts man, accounts.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, you mentioned the point with Mary Yoda.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_02]: I think this was one where it seemed like they just completely forgot that Mary Yoda can run the ball pretty well as a quarterback because they just didn't account for that all in normally you see see one of the linebackers kind of playing like a spiral on.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_02]: I'm the quarterback of the, you know, when they had those running capabilities and we didn't see that at all, and, you know, Justin Strenaud, and maybe it is because he wasn't out there, drag Greenland outside of the intersection didn't play a great game.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_02]: He was actually really bad in this one.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know what it was, but it just seemed that they just were completely taken off guard by Mario does running ability.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_02]: And that might, you know, them under estimating it might be why Cooper was not having that, you know, the discipline that you need the land to support.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_02]: But as you said, a win is win.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's a win.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_02]: Never managed to pull it off.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_02]: They're sitting at 10 or two.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_02]: They're top of the AFC right now.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_02]: And hopefully they say that way with a giant spin.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_02]: And the best thing is is like they're in a position where they just got to handle their own business.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_02]: And they don't have to rely on other teams winning or losing games in order to make it to the playoffs.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_02]: They just keep winning games, keep managing to pull it off and keep doing so well, working on improving were those areas that they need to.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_02]: They're in a great position right now with their with their record.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_02]: They're in a great position with what they have on the their table for the rest of the season.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_02]: It's on them to go out there and close it out which last two seasons have been an issue with Sean Payton and it wasn't an issue there late in his time with the New Orleans Saints.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_02]: So hopefully they figured out where they can close out the season.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_02]: Just like they've closed out the, you know, games a season.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_02]: Fourth quarter has always been so big for them.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we're in the fourth quarter of the season now.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I didn't want to come out at this point.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for Fatsur Tannas.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm stealing this one.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's my point now.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_00]: Not yours.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but it's not just Bonix, but he does say Bonix looks unfazed and over time, give it to Mario to the football we can show to anyone's game, Iron Chorping's, I don't let's keep stacking.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you so much.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_00]: Fats are Dan.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_00]: Love the picture.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for supporting the show and coming in as we're just about to wrap up here.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, what five plays, 75 yards touchdown on that over time drive, where was that?
- 50:28[SPEAKER_00]: All game, but they looked brutally efficient on that drive from the run game to Bonix as well.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_00]: So that was incredible.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_00]: get bonus in the offense.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, when you look like that, it's like it's in there.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_00]: You know, like that, that drive was beautiful.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't get, I mean, obviously, you get to have one play that goes 75 yards, but like the do it in it in five plays, that quickly boom, boom, boom, boom, touch down on two, three, four.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, touch down.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_00]: All right, right amount of booms.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_00]: So that was awesome to see.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_00]: So shout out to Fat Sertan for coming in for the super chat there and pointing out that bonus extend the Broncos offense in general there.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, people will talk
- 51:08[SPEAKER_00]: Commander's march on was almost at the wrong name.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_00]: March down the field there at the end, give it that touchdown.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_00]: There was a little bit of flukiness in that as well.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_00]: And both sides will call it what it is.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_00]: The penalty is extending things.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe a pick play by Terry McCleuron for that touchdown there at the end, but you know his it is what it is.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_00]: They're kind of calling it rough on both sides.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_00]: So shout out to the Broncos another holy none for your life kicking and screaming, whatever you want to call it.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 51:35[SPEAKER_00]: accounts.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_00]: That's a win and Denver nine wins in a row 10 and 2 top of the AFC.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_00]: We haven't been here very often.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_00]: So I want to let it savor a little bit hopefully like your guys' leftover cold turkey sandwiches are savory and you're free right now.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, real quick I just want to get this with the wrapping and the complaining.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there is miss calls.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_02]: There are some questionable calls on both sides of it, but at least nothing was as bad as what the Texans game was at the one.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_02]: where they very clearly missed the extra point and the reps called it good.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't see that.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it was very clearly wide, bright, and the reps came out with their arms up, saying, well, and that it was good.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_02]: And at least it wasn't anything that bad with the roughing in this one.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, wow.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_00]: And it's that you have to send that to me on Twitter or whatever.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_00]: Because, you know, baby duty besides the Broncos game, I'd do my pay my dues to go off and not have kid duty for the night last night.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_00]: But very happy to see the Broncos win nine in a row.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_00]: First time that's happened and God, I think since maybe 2012, for the Broncos, I don't think the 2015 team even had a nine win win in streak.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_00]: And while these, some of these wins haven't been overly convincing, the Broncos two losses weren't overly convincing either, right?
- 52:48[SPEAKER_00]: So like, they're, they got a chance against anybody any given game, and I trust this coaching staff and the lines of skirmish and with how next is playing as of late that Denver can give a game against any one.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think, again, Eric, we got to go.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_00]: I keep, I was thinking about this last night walking the dog.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_00]: I know the media in general, the general talking heads, podcasters, whatever will not give the Broncos credit for like these overwhelming, you know, everything's beautiful wins, but there has to be, and it's not aesthetically pleasing, so they won't, they won't talk about it, but like there has to be some credit given for the Broncos never coming out there and totally laying an egg.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_00]: Also like they're there their worst games their bottom ones are always so much higher like they you don't have games Like what we have saw the Rams against the Panthers this season like maybe you're not getting the games They're blowing great teams out and it's like everything is absolutely clicking I don't know if we want to count the commanders or the Bengals games for that, but The fact that they're worst games coming out where you know crazy Justin Herbert won some crazy wins as well
- 53:55[SPEAKER_00]: You have a chance to win in the NFL when you keep every single game like that.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_00]: So could that a lot of credit to the Broncos and Sean Payton for that.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_00]: People won't talk about it because it's again, it's not fun to to fun to see to watch those ugly games.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_00]: But they just don't have absolute stinkers.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_00]: And in the NFL when the margins are so thin and the coaching margins, especially with how good they've been the season on the whole.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_00]: You have a chance every freaking game in that counts for a lot in my book.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah, it's great like there's you can question a lot of things about the adventure you can't question the mentality you can't question the fight and then you can't question the grit and there's been some games this season where it looked like they were going to go out there and have you know those complete thinker games and they came out and you know they kept fighting they kept pushing they kept they showed their grit and the resilience and
- 54:38[SPEAKER_02]: came out and didn't lay a complete Goosey out there and You know as you said it's not something that Mike's to get talked about because it's not pretty the NFL media They love those they either love blowouts or they love the high scoring shootout games like they don't like those ugly dirty wins at the broadcast I've been getting this season and it just leads to them just constantly questioning it and well, you know what?
- 54:59[SPEAKER_02]: I think the Broncos will take it
- 55:00[SPEAKER_02]: They like the narrative against them, and things are ugly, and they like being doubted.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_02]: And it's something that they're definitely using this year.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_02]: I can't remember who it was, but a couple weeks ago, one of the players talked about it.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_02]: Just keep underestimating us, because we just use that for additional fuel on for the fire.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_02]: So, national media, go ahead and keep doing it.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_02]: But the broadcast is like, as you said, they're doing something right to get these wins, and the fight and them, it's always there.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_00]: winning in the margins, maybe not with the penalties, didn't win the take over one on this one, but I feel like they just, they have an edge.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_00]: We got Troy Boer, and the last one coming in because we got a wrap up, 999 at some point we need to earn, are winning with room to improve and to become in a more consistent offense, but I'll take this play anytime at this point this season.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be pretty hard for the Broncos to do that as long as the running game as as I want to say deal way, but you know, scatter shot as it is post JK job and it's only a two game sample size, so still time to figure it out there is some reason to hope for Harvey like there's flashes here and there and they talk about you know how he's built like.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_00]: There should be a little bit there.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_00]: We saw great.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_00]: I'm somebody in the chat brought it out as well.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_00]: A great pass blocking rep for him as well.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_00]: We're bone excavated a guy, but Harvey read it and clip them and you don't get that play without him doing that.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, he's a rookie.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think if he was going to be, you know, a junior Gibbs for us, we probably would have seen a little bit more than by now, but he still has a chance to become a pretty good one or two and they need him to this season.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_00]: If you talk about the offense in the room for improved more consistent.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to put that on botanics at this point.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's got to probably come from Harvey and the run game in general stepping up.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_00]: They got five games to figure that out.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it may not happen this season, but hope at very least, hopefully it happens like season and with Harvey, you know, throughout the game, they kept talking about how the commanders, you can't have that pause, you just got to go, that's just got to be Harvey at this point because when he just goes good things happen, but when he has that little bit of a pause in the backfield, waiting for a blocking develop sometimes, you know, it's it's patience, but it's borderline over being too patient.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_02]: just got to go.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_02]: Just go try to make something happen.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's where you're at this point.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_02]: Just don't wait for the big hole.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_02]: Don't wait for the, you know, the explosive opportunity there for you, because of that, just go pick up what you can and just lower your head and start showing some power.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_02]: I get a, at some point in the game, they talked about how Harvey's actually heavier than JK Dobbins.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_02]: They made that comment.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_02]: He's like five pounds heavier than JK Dobbins apparently.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I believe you, but that's crazy.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I can't, I don't believe it.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_02]: And that's just what they, I think my trick was said you're in through the broadcast.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, there's no way that's actually true.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_02]: But they said it, and if that's true, well, we need to start seeing a little bit more power.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_02]: We see it's at times as a receiver.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_02]: We just need to see it a little bit more as a runner.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_02]: And my God, for once, can we see one of these running backs?
- 57:59[SPEAKER_02]: break a tackle.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think we've seen we've hardly seen it from Harvey McLaughlin breaking a tackle run in the ball.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not including Bady, but A and that because he only has two runs on the whole season.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_00]: Guys, your video froze up on me.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_00]: There we go.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_00]: That's all you smack on the camera.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_00]: Good for you.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_00]: Like the Broncos smack, the commander's there at the very end.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_00]: Benito bat in the ball away.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_00]: Owens Owens, a win.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_00]: Appreciate everyone coming in.

- 58:36[SPEAKER_00]: David, fats or tan as well.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_00]: And Troy Boer, coming in, supporting the show on this victory Monday.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_00]: Broncos winners in nine in a row, getting an overtime win on the last play of the game, and surviving enduring.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's a long season, marathon, not a race, and you keep stacking wins.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go giants as well.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_00]: Let's get the Broncos get in a, uh,
- 58:55[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't say a string will hold, but like, you know, we're not playing tie breakers or anything anymore in the Patriots getting in the by week.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_00]: I think after this weekend, really would be great for the Broncos down the stretch.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_00]: The Colts flailing here is now dropping the six seed.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_00]: So I mean, we'll see, Denver still has plenty to take care of in some tough matchups coming up.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_00]: Still with.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_00]: Two of their last five games are three of the last five games against playoff teams and that doesn't include the chiefs, so tough schedule still ahead and you keep stack maybe maybe the haters are right, great call by the haters if that's the case, but you got some games here and keep stacking and if you win a year on one seed let them keep you doubting, making excuses maybe they'll be right in the end, but demos right now and as good a position as they've been and
