- 0:00Speaker 1: Daniel, will get your present. Sorry, did you get your present?
- 0:04Speaker 1: We sent you a present, Daniel, did you get it? No,
- 0:06Speaker 1: we didn't send you a present. I sent you a present.
- 0:09Speaker 1: We did, we did it. Yeah, though we were sending
- 0:13Speaker 1: it all for you. You're an interloper. Well your door?
- 0:23Speaker 1: Did you get your set up yet? Zach? No, I don't.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I have to buy this piece of hardware that I
- 0:29Speaker 1: went on Amazon. It's not going to be for better
- 0:31Speaker 1: or for worse. It's not going to be here for
- 0:32Speaker 1: a minute. So you have some time to decide. You
- 0:36Speaker 1: have some time to decide if this is a bad
- 0:37Speaker 1: idea or not. Well, Danil showed me what I need.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I need this pad, this sample pad thing, and I
- 0:44Speaker 1: found one on Amazon, and the one that we both
- 0:47Speaker 1: said was perfect. You know, it wasn't coming right away.
- 0:49Speaker 1: It's like going to be like, you know, a couple
- 0:51Speaker 1: of weeks. Oh, a couple of weeks. Okay, it's funny
- 0:55Speaker 1: in two thousand and twenty one, and like you buy
- 0:58Speaker 1: something and they're like a couple weeks, why isn't it here?
- 1:01Speaker 1: Like prime, like the next day, why isn't here right now? Yeah,
- 1:06Speaker 1: so you have a couple of weeks to decide if
- 1:07Speaker 1: it was a horrible idea to get to turn your
- 1:09Speaker 1: key for that when they say when they say a
- 1:11Speaker 1: couple of weeks, you're like, I'm not pretty ordering this ship.
- 1:14Speaker 1: It should be here tomorrow. I know you're like a
- 1:16Speaker 1: couple of a mistake, right? Did I put it in wrong? Standard?
- 1:25Speaker 1: This thing on your explore tab on Instagram where women
- 1:29Speaker 1: aren't doing I don't know the song, but it's I
- 1:31Speaker 1: can this is the part I know, small waist, pretty
- 1:35Speaker 1: faced with a big bank. I know exactly what you're
- 1:40Speaker 1: talking about. Okay, listen, It's all of our Instagram and
- 1:43Speaker 1: I'm not on TikTok, so I imagine this is the
- 1:45Speaker 1: TikTok thing. And I imagine so you know, on TikTok
- 1:48Speaker 1: these folks do a dance, do dances right, and then
- 1:53Speaker 1: now it's coming onto the Instagram explore tab. I think
- 1:55Speaker 1: that people are just just copying these are putting them on,
- 1:58Speaker 1: or maybe the people who do the dance or doing it.
- 2:00Speaker 1: But this particular dance is we like it? Well, I'm
- 2:04Speaker 1: I have feelings about it because sometimes I mean like
- 2:07Speaker 1: you and I both don't mind it A nice tush
- 2:12Speaker 1: and the song seems to feature women bouncing their booties. Yes,
- 2:16Speaker 1: have you seen the silhouette challenge too? No? What's the
- 2:20Speaker 1: silhouette challenge? Oh, it's great. What's the song that they're
- 2:23Speaker 1: using for the silhouette challenge? It's like, it's like a
- 2:27Speaker 1: clover tower head on My show? And then so what
- 2:35Speaker 1: are they doing with the silhouette? So it starts off dude,
- 2:40Speaker 1: damn booty bo boo writing a girl standing there in
- 2:47Speaker 1: like some baggy outfit or something that's not revealing. She's
- 2:50Speaker 1: gonna transform. Then goes put your head on My show.
- 2:56Speaker 1: And when it goes to show like this, bass kicks
- 2:59Speaker 1: in and it turns real like modern and now the
- 3:02Speaker 1: clothes are off and the room turns red and it's
- 3:06Speaker 1: just a silhouette of the body. And some of them
- 3:09Speaker 1: were dope, some of them are really really funny. Some
- 3:12Speaker 1: of them want to do it. Someone don't get rid,
- 3:17Speaker 1: Like Tiffany Hattish got the best one, I think out
- 3:19Speaker 1: of all of them, with her in common where she's doing,
- 3:22Speaker 1: she does the whole thing, and then she shows her
- 3:24Speaker 1: curves and then Common comes in and then it gets
- 3:27Speaker 1: a little you know, Bridgerton on your Real quick you
- 3:30Speaker 1: know what I mean, Like steamy like that, and then
- 3:34Speaker 1: and she has on a wig during the whole thing,
- 3:36Speaker 1: and then she pulls it off and she's bald, and
- 3:38Speaker 1: then it pauses for a second. But I don't think
- 3:41Speaker 1: I wouldn't mind. Shoot Tiffany find it in the motherfucking dog. Well,
- 3:46Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, I this thing, this song is
- 3:49Speaker 1: in my head now and I'm found myself walking around
- 3:52Speaker 1: singing small ways pretty fast with a big bank. And
- 3:55Speaker 1: I had to google the big bank. I mean, I
- 3:58Speaker 1: get it from the video, but again, a big tush. Indeed,
- 4:03Speaker 1: what's the video that you're talking about? Well, all these
- 4:05Speaker 1: when you say, when you say big bank, you said
- 4:08Speaker 1: you get it from the video, but they're talking about
- 4:10Speaker 1: a big tush. Well, when they do their dance, there's
- 4:12Speaker 1: a choreography to it. I'll do it for you. Yeah,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I can't wait. You go like this, you go, you go,
- 4:19Speaker 1: you pull up your shirt and you go, small waist,
- 4:21Speaker 1: pretty face with a big bank, and then you then
- 4:24Speaker 1: you bounce it. Nailed it. I'm sorry you don't get
- 4:35Speaker 1: to see that, but it's glorious. I don't have enough.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I don't have enough bank. I guess I don't know. Well, no,
- 4:42Speaker 1: it bounced a little bit. Yeah, there was some change
- 4:45Speaker 1: in there with you got some change in the bank.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I was walking around my yard today, like turning it
- 4:50Speaker 1: into like an opera. It's like small face pretty with
- 4:53Speaker 1: a big bag. But the people that are doing it seriously,
- 4:59Speaker 1: I feel bad for them, Like, I mean, it's one
- 5:01Speaker 1: thing to spoof it and like be stupid about it.
- 5:04Speaker 1: But don't you think it's I don't know, there's people
- 5:06Speaker 1: doing it like showing off their I'm not. I guess
- 5:09Speaker 1: that's I guess it's the point. I guess it's the
- 5:11Speaker 1: point of your attention. If you get your attention by
- 5:14Speaker 1: showing you a big bank and you take it seriously,
- 5:18Speaker 1: good for you. Man. The girls all seem to do
- 5:19Speaker 1: a laugh like, oh, isn't this so silly that I
- 5:22Speaker 1: did this? You know I didn't add that to mine.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Let me add that long. Okay, you gotta part of
- 5:27Speaker 1: the thing is that you do a giggle, like I'm
- 5:28Speaker 1: not taking this seriously. This isn't so weird that we're
- 5:30Speaker 1: all doing I read small ways pretty safe, I added,
- 5:40Speaker 1: you guys didn't see if I added the laugh. I
- 5:42Speaker 1: can't believe I'm doing this. Oh, I've reached that please
- 5:54Speaker 1: never apologize. I've reached the level of quarantine where I'm
- 5:58Speaker 1: fucking doing TikTok videos from myself. Good good, Express yourself
- 6:04Speaker 1: with us, express yourself. Hey, hey, hey, let's get into
- 6:08Speaker 1: the show man, let's just get into the show. Is

- 6:14Speaker 1: funny stories. Donald count us in to America's favorite theme song.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Wait before we do that, channel Joe will Yeah, Hi, Hi, great,
- 6:25Speaker 1: it's going Yeah, we're great. It's going very well. Right on,
- 6:29Speaker 1: right on six seven, eight. Stories about show we made,
- 6:36Speaker 1: about a bunch of docs and nurses. Stories. Gather around here,
- 6:48Speaker 1: get around here. Happy Friday, Happy Friday to you, Happy Friday.
- 6:59Speaker 1: You know, no la restaurants outside. I've been realp And
- 7:03Speaker 1: how do we feel do we feel brave enough to
- 7:05Speaker 1: try to know? Not yet? I'm not eat because the idea,
- 7:10Speaker 1: the idea of going and sitting outside, if the tables
- 7:14Speaker 1: were spaced apart, is so enticing, isn't it to like
- 7:18Speaker 1: a little smidgeon of normalcy? I did it once at
- 7:21Speaker 1: the top of quarantine last year, and it was It
- 7:24Speaker 1: creaked me out. Like at first, I was like, oh
- 7:26Speaker 1: my gosh, just like back to regular, Like we were
- 7:28Speaker 1: maybe two months in and I was like, yeah, I'll
- 7:30Speaker 1: just like go with some friends. It's very spacious they
- 7:33Speaker 1: had and they were like really respecting all of the rules,
- 7:35Speaker 1: like it's like eight feet away, but then everybody has
- 7:38Speaker 1: their mass off and you has to know we're outside,
- 7:40Speaker 1: but still we know that. It hangs in the air
- 7:43Speaker 1: for like a full sixteen minutes and it's like it
- 7:46Speaker 1: and then the waiters are coming up and I feel
- 7:48Speaker 1: so bad. They're like shielded and masked and they're interacting
- 7:53Speaker 1: with all these people and they're touching cash, and I'm like,
- 7:55Speaker 1: this is not good. Like this, there's too many warning
- 7:57Speaker 1: signs every couple of minutes. It really freaked me out. Well,
- 8:00Speaker 1: there's a restaurant that Donald and I. There's that where
- 8:03Speaker 1: they have an outside. I'm not going to reveal it
- 8:04Speaker 1: because I don't want people blow up our spot. But
- 8:06Speaker 1: they do it in a very safe way. All the
- 8:09Speaker 1: tables are spaced, the waiters are in shield. You don't
- 8:13Speaker 1: you do a queue what do you call a q
- 8:15Speaker 1: R code for the menu? You don't you don't touch anything.
- 8:18Speaker 1: There's no cash it's credit cards only. Okay, I don't know.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I'm just I'm just sad. I'm probably not gonna do it,
- 8:24Speaker 1: but I got to be a second. It'll be It'll
- 8:26Speaker 1: be a second. I will say this, Joe, I don't
- 8:28Speaker 1: know about outside. If it hangs in the air like that,
- 8:30Speaker 1: I think breeze and things like that, and particles drop
- 8:33Speaker 1: when outside, I think when it's well, this is we
- 8:36Speaker 1: know that outside is one step better than inside, know
- 8:39Speaker 1: better than inside. So I don't want to put I
- 8:42Speaker 1: don't want to scare anybody. Because when you said that,
- 8:44Speaker 1: I was like, wait a second, sixteen minutes in the
- 8:46Speaker 1: air outside, how does that possible? It kind of freaked
- 8:49Speaker 1: me out a little bit, So I say, I mean
- 8:50Speaker 1: to freak you out. Donald's not even gonna go outside?
- 8:53Speaker 1: Well you should. You should definitely feel people much r
- 8:57Speaker 1: than I say. It's it's good outside, just wear your
- 8:59Speaker 1: mask and it's fine. But you can't keep your mask
- 9:01Speaker 1: on if you're eating. Well. Now, even they're saying, even out,
- 9:05Speaker 1: they're saying, as long as you maintain say, pretend like
- 9:08Speaker 1: everybody has it right, and pretend like you have it obviously,
- 9:12Speaker 1: and so keep your keep your mask on. But if
- 9:14Speaker 1: you maintain, if you maintain the social distancing, it's okay
- 9:19Speaker 1: to run around with you know, exercise without your mask on,
- 9:23Speaker 1: you know, in areas where people are as long as
- 9:26Speaker 1: you're maintaining your space. It has to it has to be.
- 9:30Speaker 1: The distance has to be there. Do you spend today, Donald,
- 9:33Speaker 1: I did not spend today interesting today. I thought we
- 9:37Speaker 1: were doing this a peloton down with each other and
- 9:39Speaker 1: you look great. I'm lost. Wait, I don't know if
- 9:42Speaker 1: you notice a little bit let me. I know, I
- 9:43Speaker 1: know you saw it in the video when I did
- 9:45Speaker 1: my big bank, but yeah, I've lost ten pounds, Zach, goody, congratulations,
- 9:54Speaker 1: thank you very much. I'm excited about it. I'm happy
- 9:57Speaker 1: for you. My brother, I am doing it too. I
- 9:59Speaker 1: have an new guy used today. They all every pelotonic
- 10:02Speaker 1: structor has a different catchphrase, and his is he goes
- 10:07Speaker 1: if you feel if forgetting what it is? His name yo,
- 10:12Speaker 1: he's an Asian British guy and he's really fun and oh,
- 10:17Speaker 1: he goes if he feels good and you know you should,
- 10:19Speaker 1: let's turn it up three more points. All right, if
- 10:21Speaker 1: it feels good and you know you should, let's turn
- 10:24Speaker 1: it up five more points. Oh, my gosh, not turning
- 10:27Speaker 1: the British accent justice. My girlfriend would be cringing. But
- 10:32Speaker 1: I suck at a British accent like I can only
- 10:34Speaker 1: do like the whiney guy from Freaking Harry Potter or
- 10:38Speaker 1: Monty Python We're going on the walk allis. I'm not
- 10:44Speaker 1: good at it either. Every time I do it, my
- 10:48Speaker 1: my girlfriend and her family are like, oh Jesus, that bad.
- 10:53Speaker 1: You know what we should do whenever anybody from the
- 10:57Speaker 1: the Great Britain area does American accent, we should act
- 11:03Speaker 1: like it sucks even though it's really good. We should
- 11:05Speaker 1: be like, problem is, problem is they they're they're often
- 11:08Speaker 1: very good at I mean, flow is flawless. Out of it.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Act like act like she sucks, pretend she sucks. Just lie,
- 11:14Speaker 1: fuck it, fuck it. Lie what she goes she doesn't know.
- 11:18Speaker 1: She doesn't really know because she goes on sets and
- 11:21Speaker 1: people are like, wow, well there. You could be like,
- 11:23Speaker 1: they've been lying to you. They've been lying. There lying,
- 11:25Speaker 1: they've been lying, They've been lying. She doesn't really know.
- 11:28Speaker 1: At the end of the day, she could be like,
- 11:29Speaker 1: am I saying it right? You could cast doubt because
- 11:32Speaker 1: it's not her native tongue. It's not that British. British
- 11:36Speaker 1: people are better at doing American accents, although if you're
- 11:39Speaker 1: not a professional, like an actor. My experience is that
- 11:43Speaker 1: a lot of times they sound they revert to like
- 11:45Speaker 1: the valley girl thing. They go, oh my god, you
- 11:47Speaker 1: guys like that's their default, right, because that's what they think.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Americans all sound like, oh my god, you go like,
- 11:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep it one hundred. I have yet to
- 11:58Speaker 1: hear a British dude sound exactly like they're from Brooklyn
- 12:03Speaker 1: or something like that. I've yet to hear that. I've
- 12:05Speaker 1: yet to hear that I've seen. I've seen British dudes
- 12:09Speaker 1: uh come across as tough and uh as American hoods do,
- 12:16Speaker 1: but I've yet to see them come across with the
- 12:19Speaker 1: you know where. I was like, damn, that dude, he's
- 12:22Speaker 1: where is he from? He's from where? That's that's like
- 12:25Speaker 1: from Brooklyn, that's like from Manhattan, or that's like from Uptown,
- 12:28Speaker 1: or that's like from the brook I can't find. I
- 12:32Speaker 1: can't find one. I can't find Because most people that
- 12:34Speaker 1: play these characters are people from California or something like that.
- 12:39Speaker 1: It's rare that you have people that there are a
- 12:41Speaker 1: few people. There are a few, but it's rare that
- 12:44Speaker 1: you have them actually playing Brooklyn Nights, or people from Manhattan,
- 12:47Speaker 1: or people from the tri State or from New York
- 12:50Speaker 1: or something like that playing these characters. Usually somebody from Chicago.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I was just going to add that I'm tempted to
- 12:56Speaker 1: agree with Donald in the sense that, like, uh, it's
- 12:59Speaker 1: tough to do American dialects. I think there's a lot
- 13:02Speaker 1: of you know, British actors and people from different countries
- 13:04Speaker 1: who do a very standard American engineer Well totally get
- 13:07Speaker 1: it off. And the only person that I was going
- 13:08Speaker 1: to throw out there I think does a particular dialect
- 13:10Speaker 1: well is Dominic West in the wire, his his very
- 13:14Speaker 1: his Baltimore is what about sorry that I forgot the
- 13:17Speaker 1: name of that amazing African Americana. He does it pretty
- 13:21Speaker 1: good sounds. Look, he Alba is dope and he's you
- 13:25Speaker 1: know what I mean, he still has his little British
- 13:27Speaker 1: things in him when he's when he's acting dude, but
- 13:29Speaker 1: he's the five don't get it twisted. I think interest
- 13:32Speaker 1: is the man. I mean, like, I think he could
- 13:34Speaker 1: do don't don't all of a sudden turn me into
- 13:36Speaker 1: a Haita and stuff like that. But here's a perfect
- 13:39Speaker 1: examp you know who sounded like it and he's not
- 13:41Speaker 1: from there? Was would would you know? I would believe
- 13:44Speaker 1: would more than I would believe An. Yet he's out
- 13:47Speaker 1: the cast because he actually has a genuine connection to
- 13:52Speaker 1: that type of urban American uh urban light. So you
- 13:57Speaker 1: want to talk about accents, yes, I agree with you.
- 14:01Speaker 1: British people do great American accents, but when you go specific,
- 14:05Speaker 1: I don't know about all that just yet. I've yet
- 14:07Speaker 1: to see it. Sir. Sharonin is pretty amazing too. I'm
- 14:11Speaker 1: always surprised when I see her speak with her natural
- 14:15Speaker 1: Irish brogue. Is that what you call it? Ye? Well yeah, Donald,
- 14:22Speaker 1: should we get into this, baby girl? Yeah, let's do this,
- 14:27Speaker 1: Hey yo, Daniel, funny episode, no doubt, Daniel, I feel
- 14:31Speaker 1: like this beat, it might be a little uh whoa,
- 14:35Speaker 1: I feel like this one. I feel like this beat
- 14:39Speaker 1: might be a little Adam's family ish. You'll understand what
- 14:43Speaker 1: I'm saying. When we're done, you're ready, you want him
- 14:44Speaker 1: to change? Hold on, you want to chant the beat?
- 14:46Speaker 1: Here we go, and if you don't need to stop watch,
- 14:51Speaker 1: but the last beat was fuego. They're always pretty thank
- 14:54Speaker 1: you are ready? And hey yo, Carla lose his rowdy,
- 14:59Speaker 1: Janet have a squirrel army Turk, streams of coming true
- 15:02Speaker 1: and Elliott fights with Molly Jake Deep doesn't want to
- 15:06Speaker 1: hurt nobody that Todd has superhery. He enters and it's comedy.
- 15:11Speaker 1: The talk side is so powerful and useful. If you're fearing,
- 15:15Speaker 1: beer can save Like that's crazy, right, Like what you're
- 15:17Speaker 1: hearing Big Doctor's real friends, DJ, Danielle Joel, Monique dB.
- 15:22Speaker 1: That's the recap under a subploster. Turn your key, who
- 15:30Speaker 1: here we go? Incredible, He's got your Hamilton bag dy. Dude,
- 15:35Speaker 1: that's the best one you've ever done. I look like,
- 15:36Speaker 1: look I got goosebumps. That's the best one you've ever done.
- 15:40Speaker 1: And you hit thirty two seconds. My god, damn not
- 15:43Speaker 1: even thirty. I was trying to get thirty dude, what
- 15:46Speaker 1: was I have so many amazing What led you to
- 15:49Speaker 1: take it so much? Manjana fire in my day so much, Rawana,
- 15:58Speaker 1: It's fine in my day today. O. Wait, so you're
- 16:03Speaker 1: crediting Ganja for that, because I would have. I was
- 16:06Speaker 1: sitting in my house watching my kids and I was bored. Okay,
- 16:13Speaker 1: so they were doing their zoom and I was like,
- 16:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna write this down so like a rap song.
- 16:19Speaker 1: It was a combina. But but but you always are
- 16:21Speaker 1: high when you write these, and this one was particularly great.
- 16:25Speaker 1: I don't know what happened. Something got into me today.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I feel like, ODB, something got in down. You gotta
- 16:32Speaker 1: you gotta make sure the beat is worthy of that
- 16:35Speaker 1: I was. I was just going to say a little
- 16:37Speaker 1: peak behind the curtain. All the beats that I've played
- 16:39Speaker 1: you are like you know, beats that I've made over
- 16:40Speaker 1: the past, like four or five years whatever that I
- 16:41Speaker 1: was pulled from the bank and just like you know,
- 16:43Speaker 1: little bits here and there, this is gonna be Oh
- 16:46Speaker 1: you might do any you were an original, Well they've
- 16:48Speaker 1: all been original. Might do one just pletely fresh? This
- 16:54Speaker 1: is this is this, this will be this will be intended. Damn,
- 16:57Speaker 1: this is gonna be a there's gonna be a brand
- 17:01Speaker 1: new one for you. Well, let's see, it's the fans
- 17:03Speaker 1: like it. Maybe well every once love it. They're gonna
- 17:06Speaker 1: love it. What I'm a fan of yours and I
- 17:08Speaker 1: love it. So I don't know why anyone wouldn't that
- 17:11Speaker 1: was really good. This episode is very funny. I laughed
- 17:14Speaker 1: a lot. Did we meet Stephen for the first time.
- 17:19Speaker 1: This is the episode where Stephen comes into our family
- 17:22Speaker 1: where I was I was so confused because I thought
- 17:25Speaker 1: he came in a different way. I had no idea
- 17:28Speaker 1: that the janitor was spoiler alert, I didn't had no
- 17:31Speaker 1: idea that the janitor actually named Stephen and found Stephen.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I had no idea. It becomes sort of attached to Stephen.
- 17:39Speaker 1: He really doesn't want Carla to take him, and he
- 17:41Speaker 1: he sort of laments that he he's not going to
- 17:44Speaker 1: be able to take him to the park. He really
- 17:46Speaker 1: bonded the janitor. Now, this is one of the more surreal.
- 17:50Speaker 1: This is one of those things where Bill, you know,
- 17:54Speaker 1: we joke about how Bill probably should have put it
- 17:56Speaker 1: in a fantasy but chose to put it in the
- 17:58Speaker 1: real world. And that is that the nitor captures squirrels,
- 18:03Speaker 1: kills them, taxidermis them, and collects them and has made
- 18:07Speaker 1: a squirrel army. Not only that he's he's holding committee.
- 18:11Speaker 1: He's holding meetings like a committee. Yes, yes, and he's
- 18:14Speaker 1: obviously schizophrenic or some condition because he believes that they're
- 18:18Speaker 1: all talking back to him and says, like, Gregory, do
- 18:20Speaker 1: you mind if I lead the meeting? Right? Yeah? And
- 18:25Speaker 1: he doesn't discriminate on names either, like there's Leroy, there's
- 18:29Speaker 1: there's a bunch of different names. It's so bizarre but
- 18:34Speaker 1: funny that the janitor has a squirrel army. I remember,
- 18:37Speaker 1: I remember them, the prop guys, trying to collect enough
- 18:41Speaker 1: taxidermy squirrels. You can tell that it's like sort of
- 18:43Speaker 1: a bad comp of copy and pasting more into the shot.
- 18:47Speaker 1: But I don't think he really I don't think they
- 18:50Speaker 1: certainly didn't make end or track down what looks like
- 18:55Speaker 1: fifty taxidermy squirrels. He also so to squirrel army for Stephen.
- 19:02Speaker 1: So Rowdy's lost. He feels bad. He goes searching, can't
- 19:08Speaker 1: find then takes his squirrel, puts his squirrel army up
- 19:14Speaker 1: so that he can get Stephen and give Stephen the
- 19:17Speaker 1: Carlos Socarlo won't get in trouble. Yeah, he does a trade.
- 19:20Speaker 1: He does a trade. Now, I understand leaving something on
- 19:22Speaker 1: your roof. We've all done it, A coffee cup, a
- 19:26Speaker 1: stack of papers. Would Carlo really accidentally Why did Carly
- 19:31Speaker 1: even put Rowdy on the roof. I don't know what
- 19:35Speaker 1: was going on in her day that she thought, while
- 19:37Speaker 1: I quickly get my keys, I'm gonna put Rowdy on
- 19:40Speaker 1: the roof of the car. It just doesn't make any sense.
- 19:42Speaker 1: He put him down on the ground. He's he's a dog.
- 19:50Speaker 1: She didn't well, it's clear she's clearly she doesn't see
- 19:52Speaker 1: Rowdy as a dog anymore. It's now, I just don't
- 19:55Speaker 1: understand donald the movements that went quickly while I do
- 20:00Speaker 1: X Y or Z, I'm going to place him on
- 20:02Speaker 1: the roof of my car. Right, You gotta kind of
- 20:05Speaker 1: bet it. Does it have a lift? You gotta you
- 20:08Speaker 1: gotta lift. There's there's extra energy where it's putting it down.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Seems like the easier. How bad was that backwards effect
- 20:15Speaker 1: of the of Rowdy falling off the car and then
- 20:17Speaker 1: landing perfectly in front of that kid? That was so bad?
- 20:21Speaker 1: How about Carla taking Rowdy to get washed, right and
- 20:25Speaker 1: Danny rose, Yeah, So if you're curious and you want
- 20:29Speaker 1: to and you're someone who goes back. It looks at
- 20:30Speaker 1: these after we talk about them. In the scene where
- 20:34Speaker 1: Carla is trying to get Rowdy cleaned by a groomer,
- 20:38Speaker 1: there's two guys behind the counter, and there's one who's
- 20:40Speaker 1: washing a dog or cleaning a dog whatever, grooming a dog,
- 20:43Speaker 1: and he's like, no, And that's Danny Rose, who was
- 20:46Speaker 1: Bill's assistant when we started. He was in all of
- 20:49Speaker 1: our first auditions with Bill. He was really really involved
- 20:52Speaker 1: in the casting and the show with Bill. He was
- 20:54Speaker 1: the one I used to bug all the time when
- 20:56Speaker 1: we before we ever went to before we went to production,
- 21:00Speaker 1: to the pilot. I should be like, Danny, when do
- 21:02Speaker 1: we go? Man, I need this money. Dude. I used
- 21:04Speaker 1: to call him all the time. What day are we going?
- 21:06Speaker 1: When do I shoot? Yeah? So anyway, he then, of
- 21:09Speaker 1: course over the years got promoted and got promoted. By
- 21:12Speaker 1: the end he was he was running post production for
- 21:15Speaker 1: the show. And by the way Bill texted me this
- 21:18Speaker 1: morning was so funny. He was like wanting to come on.
- 21:20Speaker 1: He's like, hey, when can I come back on? I
- 21:23Speaker 1: was like, I was like, dude, you can come on
- 21:25Speaker 1: whenever you want. The fans love it. We just assume
- 21:27Speaker 1: you're You're such a mugul, You're so busy. He's like,
- 21:30Speaker 1: I can come on? When can I come on? It
- 21:34Speaker 1: was the most random text. He was like fishing from
- 21:36Speaker 1: when he could be invited back on the show. I
- 21:39Speaker 1: think he loves coming on more than he would admit. Well,
- 21:44Speaker 1: he thinks it's his show man, it's indirectly his show
- 21:48Speaker 1: right at the end. Well, at the end of the day,
- 21:51Speaker 1: it is yours, Bill, it's your show, Bill, and I'm
- 21:55Speaker 1: glad that you love it, but he's your show. I
- 21:58Speaker 1: was like, I was like, come on, how about I
- 21:59Speaker 1: go have Tuesday? And he goes, okay, I go. He
- 22:01Speaker 1: goes try to send an interrupting bill. In the meantime,
- 22:08Speaker 1: I was like, if you want to send an interrupt
- 22:10Speaker 1: you know what, it would be funny if he did,
- 22:12Speaker 1: if he was on the show and then sent an
- 22:14Speaker 1: interrupting bill. Also, that's a great ideas. Next level, I
- 22:19Speaker 1: would love her. That's like inception Bill sception. He just
- 22:24Speaker 1: finished shooting. He's done ahead of the class remake. Oh nice,
- 22:30Speaker 1: And I believe it's stars instead of an old white guy,
- 22:33Speaker 1: a young Hispanic woman. The actress whose name I don't know,
- 22:38Speaker 1: will you look it up for me? J While she
- 22:39Speaker 1: was the I guess the on one day at a time,
- 22:43Speaker 1: she was the oldest talking about I believe she If
- 22:48Speaker 1: I'm not mistaken, she's the star of Bill's Out of
- 22:51Speaker 1: the Class remake Good actress Isabella Gomez. Yeah, yeah, what's
- 22:59Speaker 1: the ex now that people do joel latin X, oh
- 23:03Speaker 1: latin X, latin X or latin X huh what say? Oh? Okay,
- 23:08Speaker 1: so Latina if you're a female, Latino if you're male.
- 23:12Speaker 1: People were like, I fall in between those binaries. Latin
- 23:15Speaker 1: X has come about as a way of like, hey,
- 23:17Speaker 1: this describes all of our community. Everyone can fit under
- 23:20Speaker 1: this banner, all right, so they so, so people prefer
- 23:23Speaker 1: that as just saying Latina or Latino. They it's still
- 23:26Speaker 1: very hotly contested amongst the latin X community and part
- 23:29Speaker 1: of it. But I've definitely yeah, I want to be
- 23:31Speaker 1: respectful of whatever. Yeah, whenever they prefer, I feel like
- 23:34Speaker 1: it's it's a perfectly respectable term to use. I don't
- 23:37Speaker 1: think anyone's gonna be like no, but there still is,
- 23:39Speaker 1: like some some conversation happening. Is this where X Tina
- 23:42Speaker 1: came from? No? No, okay, so this isn't where Christina.
- 23:48Speaker 1: This is much later. But yeah, that's like X miss
- 23:51Speaker 1: you've heard of latin X, right donald or No? No,
- 23:53Speaker 1: it's my first time I've ever hear another way, I'm
- 23:56Speaker 1: a week off Twitter? Can I get thunderous appause for
- 23:58Speaker 1: being a week off Twitter? You miss my you missed
- 24:02Speaker 1: my big announcement yesterday, though you did. What's your big announcement?
- 24:05Speaker 1: That was five? What? Slow it down? Slow down? Daniel?
- 24:12Speaker 1: Got a PS five? Oh? Okay, that would be great
- 24:14Speaker 1: if you came out on Twitter. Daniel, I support I
- 24:18Speaker 1: support you, whether it's my anniversary with my girlfriends in
- 24:22Speaker 1: two weeks. Got why are you getting all the come on?
- 24:29Speaker 1: I was trying to PS five Daniel? Why are you
- 24:33Speaker 1: so quick to want to be gay? Were all a
- 24:39Speaker 1: little gay? Dwn? Oh? God, okay some of us a
- 24:43Speaker 1: lot o wame? You got a PS five? That's what
- 24:47Speaker 1: you're celebrating. Yes, yes, as you're coming out? But okay,
- 24:51Speaker 1: got what game did you play? What? What? What is
- 24:58Speaker 1: your most exciting game you've started playing on the has five?
- 25:00Speaker 1: Oh it hasn't gotten here yet. One it was? It
- 25:03Speaker 1: was I won the rally yesterday of beating the box
- 25:06Speaker 1: to the Walmart final to the final button. So you'll
- 25:10Speaker 1: be more excited by what's outside your door when we're
- 25:12Speaker 1: done with the show. Because Mark has dropped off a
- 25:16Speaker 1: signed copy of the garden. It's there right now, Vinyl,
- 25:20Speaker 1: it should be. He went out the game, go see
- 25:23Speaker 1: if it's there. If it's not there, then he then
- 25:25Speaker 1: he's out. It's on its way. Daniel was in his underwear.
- 25:27Speaker 1: I just want you to know he wasn't that was
- 25:30Speaker 1: his underwear, Dude, he was in boxer. He was in
- 25:34Speaker 1: boxer's just now that was what That was his under
- 25:36Speaker 1: was that not his underwear? D come to work underwear?
- 25:41Speaker 1: You know his job. He's not coming to work in
- 25:42Speaker 1: his underwear. Okay, stand up and expose himself and let's
- 25:48Speaker 1: let's see what happens when he walks back. That's how
- 25:50Speaker 1: people go. That's how people get ruined their careers. First
- 25:54Speaker 1: of all, First of all, wireless headphones. So I'm just
- 25:57Speaker 1: taking a second. Of all, these are called shorts by bro.
- 26:02Speaker 1: They look like I know where I dude by my
- 26:05Speaker 1: knee shorts? What are you talking about? They have they
- 26:09Speaker 1: have pockets. I'm not alan iverson here. I'm not like
- 26:12Speaker 1: fighting to have shorts below the knee or something. I like,
- 26:15Speaker 1: did you yeah, you know that the NBA players never
- 26:18Speaker 1: were allowed to wear those shorts below their knees, and
- 26:21Speaker 1: so as baggy as those shorts got they never went
- 26:24Speaker 1: below their knees. They were always at the at You
- 26:27Speaker 1: were absolutely right about that, Daniel Daniels this stuff. By
- 26:30Speaker 1: the way, I've been watching that show. I know I'm
- 26:33Speaker 1: late to it, but the last dance, I think I
- 26:36Speaker 1: might like sports. Now, Well, you like the drama. Do
- 26:39Speaker 1: you like the drama of it? Well, dramas and all seriousness.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I gotta say that documentaries is Here's how you know
- 26:45Speaker 1: that documentary is so well made. I have as as
- 26:47Speaker 1: well documented, I have no interest in sports. I'm fascinated
- 26:51Speaker 1: by that documentary. It is so well done and I
- 26:54Speaker 1: love it. So you know what I love. You'd like
- 26:58Speaker 1: a lot to you Watch thirty thirty no Oh has
- 27:01Speaker 1: a series of documentaries where it's like the great emotional
- 27:05Speaker 1: highs and loads of sports and just real, really deep guys.
- 27:08Speaker 1: And then they have short ones too, they're like eight
- 27:10Speaker 1: minutes long. I'm obsessed. You would love that. Watch the
- 27:15Speaker 1: Dennis Rodman one. You'd like that one, especially while watching
- 27:19Speaker 1: this thirty foot watching the one that you're watching right now.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Watch the Dennis Rodman one. The filmmaker who made this,
- 27:25Speaker 1: this this last dance is clearly so talented. I mean,
- 27:29Speaker 1: you know, I'm so well told, and then they're so good.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I'm getting goosebumps as I think about it, just the
- 27:34Speaker 1: way they like. They'll have the cold open and then
- 27:35Speaker 1: they'll be something you'll be said, and then they'll cut
- 27:37Speaker 1: to the fucking title sequence, and it's so good. It's
- 27:40Speaker 1: so dramatic, and Jordan is such an interesting I love
- 27:43Speaker 1: now I know why all they had all those memes
- 27:45Speaker 1: of Jordan's smiling looking at the eyepads and him saying,
- 27:51Speaker 1: and I took that ship personal. That is the truth, dude. Yeah, listen,
- 27:56Speaker 1: I wish I wish I had that button where I
- 27:59Speaker 1: could take anything anyone said and be like, oh really, well,
- 28:04Speaker 1: let me prove why I gotta tell you. Let me
- 28:07Speaker 1: prove if anyone, if you're listening and you need any
- 28:10Speaker 1: inspiration for caters being your motivators, this guy, no matter
- 28:15Speaker 1: what happened, would use it and go Okay, motherfucker's you
- 28:20Speaker 1: don't you doubt me or you doubt my team? You
- 28:23Speaker 1: doubt what we can do? Watch No, it's not you
- 28:26Speaker 1: doubt my team. It's definitely not you doubt my team.
- 28:29Speaker 1: It's you doubt me. Yeah, you doubt I'm Michael motherfucking Jordan, dude.
- 28:34Speaker 1: But I thought it was really But I thought I
- 28:36Speaker 1: just thought it was inspirational from a forget sports point
- 28:39Speaker 1: of view, just a human being that is so driven
- 28:42Speaker 1: and so competitive that he feeds off of people doubting him.
- 28:47Speaker 1: He feeds off of people saying you're done, it's over.
- 28:51Speaker 1: I just thought that was really inspiring, inspiring for for people.
- 28:55Speaker 1: You know, no matter what you do, that you can go, okay,
- 28:58Speaker 1: all right, watch yeah, and then do it. All right,
- 29:03Speaker 1: We're gonna go to break and when we come back,
- 29:05Speaker 1: we're gonna actually talk about things more than just rowdy.
- 29:08Speaker 1: I have this, I wrote down so much for this episode.
- 29:10Speaker 1: But wait, if you had Adams made fun of and
- 29:13Speaker 1: I'm really not okay with him, we'll talk about what
- 29:17Speaker 1: We'll be right back and we're bad. Bill would occasionally
- 29:27Speaker 1: take digs at us and our own physical appearance, like
- 29:30Speaker 1: the fact that this episode has a whole thing about
- 29:32Speaker 1: how I have a giant Adam's apple. Well, yeah, there's that.
- 29:36Speaker 1: But we can't stop the rowdy talk just yet. Dude,
- 29:38Speaker 1: I do want to get into that. But I gasped
- 29:40Speaker 1: out loud when Carla dropped rowdy. We gasped in the show,
- 29:44Speaker 1: I really gasped out loud. I was like, oh, like,
- 29:47Speaker 1: how dare you? Our collective gasped together? Was really funny.
- 29:51Speaker 1: I laughed at that. I did it with us accidentally,
- 29:54Speaker 1: like it was simultaneously I did it. Let's go to
- 29:58Speaker 1: the top. So JD wears leg warmers to the Jim.
- 30:00Speaker 1: We learned that Cox accuses him of wearing leg warmers
- 30:03Speaker 1: while he's on the on the on the ball. How
- 30:06Speaker 1: is Dug still working at this hospital? Dude? How does
- 30:09Speaker 1: he still he should be fired by now? It's so
- 30:12Speaker 1: funny that Cox goes, Doug has killed so many patients
- 30:15Speaker 1: that he might be a government operative. By the way,
- 30:20Speaker 1: he noticed that when Cox says, go Doug, Doug, Dug,
- 30:23Speaker 1: go go go you idiot, she doesn't have the right thing.
- 30:26Speaker 1: And he goes over there and they reveal like it's
- 30:28Speaker 1: a young girl. Like he's like, he's not just fucking
- 30:31Speaker 1: he's not just sucking up with seniors. He's sucking up
- 30:33Speaker 1: with like children. No, he goes to the wrong bed. No,
- 30:36Speaker 1: there's another there's two girls, just two young girls and
- 30:39Speaker 1: two beds next to each other. Wow, I mean it
- 30:41Speaker 1: was probably just you know, someone put the background person there,
- 30:44Speaker 1: but I just thought it was funny that it's a kid. Well,
- 30:46Speaker 1: he eventually gets moved to the Morgue where it's safer
- 30:48Speaker 1: for Doug to work because he knows about I don't
- 30:50Speaker 1: know when that happens, but it's coming up soon. Hanging
- 30:54Speaker 1: up because it has to pay off soon, because this
- 30:56Speaker 1: dude's got to get out of there. I'm wearing an
- 30:58Speaker 1: Alphabet City. I'm wearing Alphabet City T shirt. And you know,
- 31:02Speaker 1: I used to live in Alphabet City. What you know
- 31:04Speaker 1: about Alphabet City, bro, I used to live in Alphabet
- 31:06Speaker 1: City Avenue A in Seventh Street. Really. Yeah, for those
- 31:10Speaker 1: you d did you go below D well, you meant
- 31:13Speaker 1: east to east to D, and you can probably go
- 31:16Speaker 1: to D now, But when I lived there, you didn't
- 31:18Speaker 1: go to D. You didn't go get that D. If
- 31:22Speaker 1: you don't know what we're talking about, there's an area
- 31:23Speaker 1: of Manhattan called Alphabet City. The avenues, you know, when
- 31:26Speaker 1: they get past one, they become ABC D. And when
- 31:32Speaker 1: I graduated in Northwestern ninety seven, I moved to an
- 31:35Speaker 1: apartment one oh three Avenue A, Seventh Street and Avenue A,
- 31:41Speaker 1: and it was awesome. I mean it was it was
- 31:44Speaker 1: a great place to live. You lived on seventh and A. Yeah,
- 31:47Speaker 1: I lived on A and actually there was a restaurant
- 31:49Speaker 1: it's no longer there. It was called seven A. And
- 31:51Speaker 1: I couldn't even afford to eat there. They had a
- 31:52Speaker 1: breakfast that was like four bucks, and I couldn't even
- 31:56Speaker 1: afford to get the breakfast. I remember, and I remember thinking,
- 32:01Speaker 1: one day, I'm going to be able to just get
- 32:03Speaker 1: up this this, this three dollars breakfast whenever I want.
- 32:07Speaker 1: I mean, there's this crazy time. That's real talking man,
- 32:11Speaker 1: that's broke, broke man. Well, I just had, you know,
- 32:13Speaker 1: you know, I when I first got to college, my
- 32:15Speaker 1: parents were helping me out a little bit with with rent,
- 32:17Speaker 1: and I was paying on music videos and commercials. But
- 32:20Speaker 1: I certainly didn't have, like you know, I had. I
- 32:22Speaker 1: had buy a box of cereal money I didn't have,
- 32:25Speaker 1: especially when, especially when you could get a bagel and
- 32:27Speaker 1: cream cheese for like fifty cent at the deli. You
- 32:30Speaker 1: know what I mean exactly it totally. I totally get
- 32:33Speaker 1: what you're talking about, Like if I would have spend
- 32:35Speaker 1: three dollars. I remember there was a hammett. My dad
- 32:38Speaker 1: didn't want us eating pork when we were kids, right,
- 32:41Speaker 1: but they would get but they would give us like
- 32:43Speaker 1: three dollars for lunch, right, and that had to be
- 32:46Speaker 1: for the whole day, so I got to eat, uh,
- 32:51Speaker 1: And usually you would have your lunch tickets for school.
- 32:53Speaker 1: So I would take the three dollars and I'd go
- 32:55Speaker 1: to the arcade and play video games after school. And
- 32:57Speaker 1: three dollars at the arcade, that's a lot of video games.
- 33:00Speaker 1: But there was this ham and cheese sandwich that was
- 33:02Speaker 1: a dollar ninety nine. Dude, I remember that, thinking, dude,
- 33:08Speaker 1: and it was like so much ham cheese, and I
- 33:12Speaker 1: hated mayo, so I would make them just putting mustard
- 33:14Speaker 1: on it. Nice to be like, yo, it isn't funny
- 33:17Speaker 1: when you look back. When we're gonna do this show.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Are we gonna do that show, Joel where we driving
- 33:21Speaker 1: around LA and talk about our old haunts? Yeah, Donald
- 33:24Speaker 1: should be getting the car next week. We're working on
- 33:26Speaker 1: des Yeah, we're gonna be doing a show where we
- 33:28Speaker 1: where we driving around. We're gonna it'll be a special
- 33:31Speaker 1: episode where we all four of us getting a car
- 33:34Speaker 1: and we're gonna drive around LA and just talk about
- 33:38Speaker 1: like different things that happened to us. It's gonna be fun.
- 33:42Speaker 1: I can't. I remember I got in so much trouble
- 33:46Speaker 1: for buying that sandwich, and I remember, Sorry, I didn't
- 33:49Speaker 1: mean to jump your story. I showed my dad the sandwich.
- 33:53Speaker 1: He was like, what the fuck is this? I was like,
- 33:55Speaker 1: it's a ham and cheese sandwich. And he took that
- 33:57Speaker 1: ship and slammed it so hard in the trash can.
- 33:59Speaker 1: He was like, you don't ever eat pork? Why was
- 34:02Speaker 1: he so anti pork? My dad told him. When I
- 34:06Speaker 1: was a kid, my dad would tell me things like,
- 34:07Speaker 1: pork eats the skin off your veins. Don't eat that shit.
- 34:12Speaker 1: H I grew up kosher, so I didn't eat pork either. Yeah,
- 34:16Speaker 1: you know, Uh, that's a good question. I should ask
- 34:21Speaker 1: my dad where it came from. I know a lot
- 34:23Speaker 1: of African American families stayed away from pork, uh when
- 34:30Speaker 1: I was a youth, And I wonder, I wonder what
- 34:32Speaker 1: his reason. I should I should ask my father what
- 34:34Speaker 1: that is before. Maybe it's the Samuel Jackson reason from fiction.
- 34:38Speaker 1: I don't dig on swine. I just don't dig swine
- 34:40Speaker 1: right anyway. So, yeah, alphabet, if you want, if you're
- 34:45Speaker 1: if you're walking, if you're in Manhattan, go visit one
- 34:48Speaker 1: or three Avenue way and wave for me. How about
- 34:51Speaker 1: the giant siptake I take from the punch Bowl. That
- 34:54Speaker 1: was funny, very big, very big siptake, very big stake.
- 34:57Speaker 1: And then we gasped. I laughed at our gasp. And
- 34:59Speaker 1: then I don't listen to him. He's drunk on cheese.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Carla's being very aggressive with Rowdy. I just didn't. I
- 35:11Speaker 1: didn't like it, even this many years later, I didn't
- 35:13Speaker 1: like it. She wants her spaces. That's what's coming. It's coming. Yeah,
- 35:18Speaker 1: it's gonna be time for me. I'm gonna get kicked out.
- 35:20Speaker 1: It's pretty soon. You gotta get kicked out, man, it's coming.
- 35:23Speaker 1: And that's great. That's what's great about Bill and the writers.
- 35:26Speaker 1: They're building it. It's not going to be something that
- 35:28Speaker 1: comes out of nowhere. They're showing you Carla getting sick
- 35:33Speaker 1: and tired of all of this stuff. And even even
- 35:36Speaker 1: if she's all right with the kind, that's like, I
- 35:38Speaker 1: need my own space. It's got to be met Turk
- 35:40Speaker 1: because we're gonna start a family. You see it coming, man, Yeah, yeah,
- 35:44Speaker 1: poor poor g d Rowdy comes to life. That was
- 35:49Speaker 1: funny in the Fantasy where all of a sudden he
- 35:52Speaker 1: tackles Carla. Yeah, yeah, yeah, and then I go, easy boy,
- 35:56Speaker 1: she ain't worth it. She ain't worth it. She ain't
- 35:59Speaker 1: worth it, easy boy, she ain't worth it. Hey, yo,
- 36:06Speaker 1: I got a question to ask. It's Heather Graham boobing
- 36:10Speaker 1: on purpose in this episode. There's a lot of cleavage.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Holy shit, it's distracting. It's like squeezes. She even squeezes
- 36:18Speaker 1: in a couple of times. I don't know. But Ken
- 36:20Speaker 1: Winningham also framed for it. There's one shot where it's
- 36:22Speaker 1: like it just comes around Heather and like her boobs
- 36:25Speaker 1: are just bouncing on the bottom of the frame. What
- 36:29Speaker 1: uh wow, I noticed it. She looks, she looks great. Yeah,
- 36:35Speaker 1: and that preempts. You know, you were distracted. You were distracted.
- 36:39Speaker 1: I was very distracted by it. And then when they
- 36:41Speaker 1: talk about making out and out of nowhere, Oh my god,
- 36:45Speaker 1: that's so funny. Twice the Todd runs in, he steals
- 36:47Speaker 1: the show every time. Dude, I don't know, I can't,
- 36:50Speaker 1: I can't. I don't know what it is, but that
- 36:52Speaker 1: makes me laugh every time. One time he runs in
- 36:54Speaker 1: and he's fresh out of the oh, he's in the
- 36:57Speaker 1: middle of surgery. No, he was in with a transplant
- 37:00Speaker 1: in they say, they make some joke about kissing each other,
- 37:03Speaker 1: and he runs in in his O. R. Uniform and
- 37:06Speaker 1: he says and they go, no Todd, and he goes
- 37:09Speaker 1: back to the transplant right. And then the next time
- 37:14Speaker 1: they're arguing and she says, you will make out with
- 37:17Speaker 1: me like you said we were gonna do, and out
- 37:20Speaker 1: of nowhere from the show, from the showers, they'll sut
- 37:24Speaker 1: it up. Sut it up there. I just no Todd.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Oh man, he's funny. Rob mash you, I know you listen.
- 37:33Speaker 1: You're a funny man and you're very funny. We have
- 37:37Speaker 1: this random thing we did on E with with Rob
- 37:39Speaker 1: that's coming out. Yes, we have a little surprise for
- 37:43Speaker 1: you listeners. I'm gonna give you the first tease. He
- 37:48Speaker 1: has the show where they get cast members together and
- 37:51Speaker 1: you sort of do some random activities and me and
- 37:55Speaker 1: Donald did it coming Soon to Eat. Do you know
- 37:59Speaker 1: what it's called? No, I don't. It's something like Reunion,
- 38:02Speaker 1: like road Trip or some shit like that. Road Trip
- 38:04Speaker 1: and Joel and Daniel are have have a cameo in
- 38:07Speaker 1: it as well. So you visit heaven, and I visit
- 38:11Speaker 1: heaven and I see all the people that I've been
- 38:13Speaker 1: Who's who've died under my watch? Now, I imagine there's
- 38:16Speaker 1: way more people than that that have died under my watch,
- 38:20Speaker 1: but I think these are four years. These are the
- 38:22Speaker 1: ones that got featured on the show, including the patient
- 38:25Speaker 1: I lost in the pilot. Is that who that was? Yeah? Interesting,
- 38:32Speaker 1: I didn't know who that was. Yeah, talking about the
- 38:35Speaker 1: old man, Well, they were all pretty senior except for
- 38:39Speaker 1: Tim Hulbert's wife. But the right but he's what he
- 38:44Speaker 1: had a line though, he was like, I forget his line. Yeah,
- 38:47Speaker 1: they all I think they all had a line. But anyway, Yeah,
- 38:49Speaker 1: the guy you probably didn't recognize was the guy I
- 38:51Speaker 1: lost in the pilot. Yeah, So to remind you audience,
- 38:56Speaker 1: Cox is talking to j D and j d's interns
- 38:59Speaker 1: about how you're gonna kill someone it happens, everybody kills someone.
- 39:02Speaker 1: You're gonna kill someone's gonna be your fault. And so
- 39:05Speaker 1: JD really gets insecure because he doesn't think he's accidentally
- 39:09Speaker 1: killed anyone. He thinks, you know, people have died, but
- 39:12Speaker 1: not not because of a mistake he's made, and so
- 39:14Speaker 1: he gets so insecurity even he doesn't even want to
- 39:17Speaker 1: do a tricky procedure because he's worried he's gonna kill someone.
- 39:20Speaker 1: And there's a funny bit of dialogue with one of
- 39:23Speaker 1: the women that's under his care, and she says, can
- 39:27Speaker 1: I drive my trans am? And he says that's not
- 39:31Speaker 1: up to me. It's up to the police and the
- 39:33Speaker 1: owners of those horses you killed, and she says they
- 39:37Speaker 1: were everywhere, and I go, you were on a race track,
- 39:41Speaker 1: missus Carter. Yeah, I noticed she mowed down horses on
- 39:46Speaker 1: a race track. I noticed something, and this is my
- 39:49Speaker 1: first time noticing it. So please don't, please don't make
- 39:54Speaker 1: fun of me, Zach. I will never make money. I
- 39:56Speaker 1: love you. I know that we're a medical comedy, yes,
- 40:00Speaker 1: but every time we come into the hospital, there's always
- 40:04Speaker 1: a medical joke. Did you notice that that's what anal
- 40:09Speaker 1: Jesuic is? All of these things are how we start off.
- 40:15Speaker 1: I always stought, I don't know why, but this is
- 40:18Speaker 1: how we start the show off. A lot of times
- 40:20Speaker 1: you're implying that the show often opens with a medical
- 40:24Speaker 1: related comedy. I don't know if that's okay. It happens
- 40:28Speaker 1: a lot. It goes boom boom, and then it's the
- 40:31Speaker 1: medical joke, right, bim boom ba bo and then it's
- 40:36Speaker 1: the medical joke, and then we go if the show
- 40:38Speaker 1: is extra long, Wow. The one that I liked the
- 40:42Speaker 1: best is boom boom. Can you imagine you're a composer
- 40:46Speaker 1: and you're like, Wow, done? What's his name? Jen? Was
- 40:54Speaker 1: that Jan finished my homework? Wow? No? I Jan did
- 41:00Speaker 1: a good job. I'm Jan. You're very talented. If you listen.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Those are called stings everybody in the parlance of score,
- 41:09Speaker 1: when you just need a little moment wow or making
- 41:13Speaker 1: to bow bim bill Wow. Molly tells the truth. I
- 41:24Speaker 1: love that she can't help Elliott has. Yeah, Elliott has
- 41:29Speaker 1: a patient who is an addict and needs a heart transplant,
- 41:35Speaker 1: and for him to get the heart transplant, his file
- 41:40Speaker 1: has to go up against the board and they have
- 41:42Speaker 1: to deem him worthy of the transplant because they don't
- 41:46Speaker 1: want to give it to someone who's who's still an addict, right,
- 41:49Speaker 1: and uh, you know this guy, he comes in with
- 41:54Speaker 1: this kid, and you know, everybody wants to live, and
- 41:58Speaker 1: you know when it's brought to the board, Kelso asks
- 42:04Speaker 1: Molly straight up, is this guy a liability and she
- 42:09Speaker 1: tells the truth and it fractures her relationship with h
- 42:15Speaker 1: Elliott temporarily, but still, uh, that's the only way to
- 42:19Speaker 1: do it, right, Like, if you were put in that situation,
- 42:21Speaker 1: that's what you do right of course, if you have integrity.
- 42:24Speaker 1: I mean it speaks a lot to her character. She's like, look,
- 42:26Speaker 1: you're my friend, but I'm I'm not gonna this is
- 42:29Speaker 1: too important for me to not be truthful, right, I don't.
- 42:32Speaker 1: I do think in my experience as a psychologist that
- 42:37Speaker 1: he's a he's a great risk to to you know,
- 42:40Speaker 1: fall off the wagon. But it's still but it's willing
- 42:43Speaker 1: to not say anything and let this thing go through. Also, yeah,
- 42:46Speaker 1: she's letting well she's letting me do her thing. She's
- 42:49Speaker 1: not she's not involved until she is. And she didn't
- 42:52Speaker 1: and she didn't have to go either. She was. She
- 42:55Speaker 1: goes to show Elliott support. You know what, I'll go
- 42:58Speaker 1: with you to show support. How about that, I'll hang
- 42:59Speaker 1: out And it turns out kels Kelso flips and it's like,
- 43:03Speaker 1: well we have a Sam Lloyd Ted the lawyer is
- 43:08Speaker 1: so oh my god, I loved um. When he goes
- 43:12Speaker 1: first of all, they both know his name. Molly and
- 43:14Speaker 1: Elliott know his name, and he can't believe that they
- 43:17Speaker 1: know his name and and uh, and he's like, yeah,
- 43:21Speaker 1: they can have whatever they want. They know my name,
- 43:23Speaker 1: and Kelso goes, why don't I open the floor to
- 43:25Speaker 1: those people who don't currently have erections? Oh my god,
- 43:35Speaker 1: that was funny, very funny, very very funny. What about
- 43:39Speaker 1: the thing where I got First of all, I saw Beard,
- 43:40Speaker 1: for say in the ICU, and now I have this
- 43:42Speaker 1: total neuroses whenever I see Beard saying, oh, he's everywhere.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Why aren't you in the pharmacy? Bro's everywhere? Yeah? But
- 43:49Speaker 1: why is the pharmacist? Because I'm currently on a kick
- 43:52Speaker 1: where I think that Beard, for say, is the main
- 43:54Speaker 1: pharmacist of the hospital. There's obviously a lot of prescriptions
- 43:58Speaker 1: that need filling. It's a huge, old hospital. Why are
- 44:00Speaker 1: you in the ICU. I have no idea why he's
- 44:04Speaker 1: in the ICU. I have a whole I have a
- 44:06Speaker 1: whole thing going on. Beard foots every time I see him,
- 44:08Speaker 1: not in that, not in the pharmacy. I'm like, bro,
- 44:12Speaker 1: back down there. Elliot's a pretty petty. Also, how petty
- 44:17Speaker 1: is Elliott? Well, she's pissed, she feels betrayed. Yeah, but
- 44:22Speaker 1: when she wins, she rubs it in her friend's face. Yeah,
- 44:25Speaker 1: because she she but then again she was wrong because
- 44:28Speaker 1: the guy disappears right. But when she wins, she's like
- 44:32Speaker 1: all up in Molly's face, like she pages her. So
- 44:36Speaker 1: that's a funny bit though, So she goes, she goes,
- 44:38Speaker 1: you don't want to mess with me because you know,
- 44:40Speaker 1: one of the reasons I came in psychologists is I
- 44:42Speaker 1: really know how to pinpoint every once in securities really well.
- 44:44Speaker 1: And and Elliot's like, oh no, you know she was eyebrows.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Elliott cut back to Elliott and she's already sobbing. Her
- 44:53Speaker 1: must scatter is running down her face, and I'm like, Elliott,
- 44:57Speaker 1: are you really that insecure? And she goes John Adams
- 45:00Speaker 1: Apple and I go My lip starts quivering, and I'm like,
- 45:05Speaker 1: I need to go, and then then they and then
- 45:07Speaker 1: they card cut to me and I'm in a fucking
- 45:09Speaker 1: red That ship was hilarious. The red turtle neck, Like,
- 45:17Speaker 1: if you're gonna wear a turtle neck, why are you
- 45:18Speaker 1: mine wearing like you're wearing a red turtle neck while
- 45:22Speaker 1: you while you perform a minor surgery too. Yeah, I
- 45:26Speaker 1: looked so funny. I think turtle night. I can't pull
- 45:28Speaker 1: off a turtle neck, but maybe I should because of
- 45:30Speaker 1: my giant Adams apple. But I just think they always
- 45:32Speaker 1: look super funny. Yeah, I remember to listen. I remember
- 45:38Speaker 1: Matthew Perry did that show back in the day where
- 45:41Speaker 1: he wore where he used to wear turtlenecks. All not
- 45:43Speaker 1: Friends Before Friends. Matt Perry has been around forever, right,
- 45:47Speaker 1: But I remember there was like when I used to
- 45:48Speaker 1: ride the subway back in New York City, there was
- 45:50Speaker 1: one with him and he was on the show. But
- 45:54Speaker 1: the cover, well can you find out what that is?
- 45:55Speaker 1: I didn't know that Matt Perry was successful before Friends.
- 45:59Speaker 1: Matt Perry was very successful before Friends. He was in
- 46:02Speaker 1: a lot of things before Friends. Actually paid his Friend's
- 46:07Speaker 1: gonna be Our our our rewatched show after Scrubs. A
- 46:11Speaker 1: lot of people have requested it. The reason my thinking
- 46:15Speaker 1: behind it, Donald is it's that and Seinfeld and the
- 46:19Speaker 1: Office are like the most watched ones. We want to
- 46:21Speaker 1: pull the most. I think we should. I think we
- 46:24Speaker 1: should be obscure and do things that are a little
- 46:27Speaker 1: bit different. I promise you. I think there are some
- 46:30Speaker 1: shows that are very funny that we're just as successful,
- 46:34Speaker 1: that we could do like a different World. I'm trying
- 46:39Speaker 1: to tell you right now that would be fire. You
- 46:43Speaker 1: watching Hillman College would be fire. But I just don't
- 46:46Speaker 1: know as many people would tune in for that, like
- 46:49Speaker 1: the audience tuning in. The audience is tuning in for
- 46:51Speaker 1: Scrubs or obviously, before there was Friends, there was a
- 46:54Speaker 1: different world before that was all this Cosby and a
- 46:57Speaker 1: different world and Cheers ran Thursday night before Friends and
- 47:01Speaker 1: all that stuff, and we can do Cheers, same type
- 47:03Speaker 1: of Cheers. No black people the shows, dude, I'm keeping
- 47:11Speaker 1: one with you, man. Some of this it's like, look, man,
- 47:14Speaker 1: what am I I'm gonna watch a bunch of white
- 47:16Speaker 1: people tell white people jokes? Nope, not being racist. But
- 47:19Speaker 1: that doesn't it doesn't. I can't really know that. I
- 47:23Speaker 1: didn't know that you were saying in so many words,
- 47:26Speaker 1: you want to pick a show Marissa Tome Marissa Tommey
- 47:29Speaker 1: is in the first season of A Different World, man,
- 47:31Speaker 1: there's a white person in that. Ain't no white people
- 47:34Speaker 1: in any of these shows you talk about, not Cheers,
- 47:36Speaker 1: not Friends, not any of them, dude. One hundred Okay, well,
- 47:41Speaker 1: I didn't realize until now that your objection was related
- 47:43Speaker 1: to African American representation. I apologize that you didn't know
- 47:48Speaker 1: that Perry had guest spots on West Wing growing all
- 47:52Speaker 1: the African American people out there. I'm sorry he didn't
- 47:54Speaker 1: know that. Y'all, boys will be Boys? Is that the
- 47:57Speaker 1: show you're thinking of me? I think it's Boys will
- 47:59Speaker 1: Be Boys? I how about when the janitor says, I'm
- 48:03Speaker 1: still a little drunk from breakfast? What about you at
- 48:10Speaker 1: the strip club with the stripper? That was a great moment,
- 48:13Speaker 1: as you remember shooting that. I don't, but you could
- 48:16Speaker 1: tell I was having a great time. Really looked like
- 48:18Speaker 1: you were method acting you. You really was in your bones.
- 48:22Speaker 1: How about you? So Carla fantasizes a Carla fantasy that
- 48:27Speaker 1: she imagines you're in a strip club. Why why is
- 48:28Speaker 1: your character on the strip club? Because she tells him
- 48:31Speaker 1: he can go to get him off the the scent
- 48:37Speaker 1: that Rowdy's missing? Is that said in the show? Did
- 48:41Speaker 1: I miss it? She says, go to a strip club? Yeah,
- 48:43Speaker 1: she says, yeah, She gives him the She goes go
- 48:46Speaker 1: to a strip club because he's like, I can't find Rowdy.
- 48:48Speaker 1: An I don't think any woman would actually do that. Okay,
- 48:52Speaker 1: I don't think any woman would be like, Oh, I
- 48:54Speaker 1: need to distract my husband. Here's Cash go to his
- 48:57Speaker 1: strip club. Carrie brother at the end of the show
- 49:01Speaker 1: and Alma, Alma has one joke and the whole show
- 49:06Speaker 1: and she nails it. When this is all over, I'm
- 49:09Speaker 1: going to kill you. Yeah, so Carrie Brothers Blue Eyes. Yes,
- 49:17Speaker 1: this had been on the Garden State soundtrack beforehand, just
- 49:22Speaker 1: so you know. And Carrie, the funny thing is this
- 49:27Speaker 1: Carrie singing the song in the karaoke bar. He's singing
- 49:31Speaker 1: his own song. I need then today's episode with Blue
- 49:36Speaker 1: Eyes since we can. Okay, have you ever experienced that before? Though?
- 49:39Speaker 1: Have you ever experienced karaoke where an artist has walked
- 49:43Speaker 1: in and sang their own song? No, that's a thing, Yeah,
- 49:46Speaker 1: I have experienced that before. Really, where do you remember
- 49:52Speaker 1: before it became the Pink Taco What was that? Or
- 49:55Speaker 1: it was the sushi spot on Sunset? So it was
- 49:58Speaker 1: before it was pink Tacos like Miyagi's or something like that, right, right,
- 50:03Speaker 1: I think it was something like that. Never went there.
- 50:05Speaker 1: They used to do Jamie Fox one night. They used
- 50:08Speaker 1: to do a karaoke night right, and it would be packed.
- 50:13Speaker 1: And I say when I say packed, I mean like
- 50:15Speaker 1: it would be packed to the point where you be
- 50:18Speaker 1: stuck at the bar and maybe people on stage. And
- 50:21Speaker 1: it's Hollywood, so you got you know, actors and actresses
- 50:24Speaker 1: like you know, Jamie Fox went up once and did
- 50:26Speaker 1: a song and he did like doom Baby or something
- 50:29Speaker 1: like that with a bunch of his friends. Can do
- 50:33Speaker 1: me in the night. Tila Tequila jumped up and sang
- 50:37Speaker 1: a song. I forget what it was. Anyway, One night,
- 50:39Speaker 1: this young lady jumps up on stage, No doubt love it.
- 50:42Speaker 1: I love it. Tequila is one of your examples of it.
- 50:45Speaker 1: It's gonna get even better. One night, this young lady
- 50:47Speaker 1: jumps up on stage and sing Selene Dion's Near Far
- 50:51Speaker 1: wherever you are. I believe that the heart right nails it,
- 50:57Speaker 1: kills it. Immediately after she's done, everybody's going crazy onto
- 51:06Speaker 1: the stage walks Whitney Houston, what shut up? If no? No,
- 51:16Speaker 1: she was gonna cry stay hi, leeing your way? Oh
- 51:33Speaker 1: my god, are you sure it was her not an impersonator?
- 51:35Speaker 1: I know it was her because she came up and
- 51:37Speaker 1: said hi. After me and we hugged and everything like that.
- 51:39Speaker 1: Oh my god, dude, dude sang the whole song kills it.
- 51:45Speaker 1: I felt so bad to a karaoke track, or like
- 51:47Speaker 1: a composed to the karaoke track, Oh my god, crushes it.
- 51:51Speaker 1: I felt so bad for the young lady who came
- 51:53Speaker 1: up and sang Seline Dion right before that, like she
- 51:56Speaker 1: like she murdered it. But the freaking star power you
- 51:59Speaker 1: know how you played band in the star power happens
- 52:02Speaker 1: and you can that thing hits so hard man, Like
- 52:05Speaker 1: the whole room turned like that blue that happens. I
- 52:08Speaker 1: felt it. I felt that energy right wow, So she crushes.
- 52:14Speaker 1: This is where I gets real awesome too, because you
- 52:16Speaker 1: know I love this brother. Immediately after, Bobby Brown jumps
- 52:23Speaker 1: up on stage and does my prerogative the best night.
- 52:27Speaker 1: It was the best night ever. It was like it
- 52:29Speaker 1: was one of the dude he jumped up on it's
- 52:32Speaker 1: my parrogative. Did the whole thing man like it was?
- 52:36Speaker 1: It was I could. That's why I ask you, have
- 52:38Speaker 1: you ever seen so Carol doing his own song? I
- 52:41Speaker 1: get it so in reminding me of one of the
- 52:43Speaker 1: most embarrassing moments in our history together do you know
- 52:45Speaker 1: what it is? No? You know, you know you like
- 52:48Speaker 1: you cringe sometime. I think, remind me if I've told
- 52:51Speaker 1: this in the podcast before, but like sometimes do you
- 52:52Speaker 1: ever have that thing in your life that happened that
- 52:54Speaker 1: makes you cringe and like you have to like shake
- 52:57Speaker 1: it off because you're like thinking of how embarrassing it was? Yes,
- 53:01Speaker 1: well this is one of mine. Donald and I run
- 53:03Speaker 1: a party and we were intoxicated and the DJ struck
- 53:10Speaker 1: up I don't want no scrub and I both went no, no, no,
- 53:18Speaker 1: no no no no no no no no, don't get,
- 53:20Speaker 1: don't get, don't don't don't letter over the dance no
- 53:25Speaker 1: no no, no no no no no no no no
- 53:26Speaker 1: no no, and started dancing scrubs. Don't you love me?
- 53:31Speaker 1: In on this ship that creeps me up? At night? Dude,
- 53:34Speaker 1: I was on the dance floor dancing with my wife. Alright,
- 53:37Speaker 1: the song comes on. The song comes on. I remember
- 53:40Speaker 1: it because we me and my wife started walking off
- 53:43Speaker 1: the dance floor. You're You're gonna buy it comes ZV.
- 53:47Speaker 1: Hot stepping, hot stepping like it was his freaking bart
- 53:52Speaker 1: miss for high stepping, like it was his body miss
- 53:54Speaker 1: for I don't want no scrubs. The scrubs. It's a
- 53:58Speaker 1: gy cake getting no from And I was like pointing,
- 54:01Speaker 1: like you scrubs embarrassing. I'm telling you. I will be
- 54:08Speaker 1: falling asleep and think of that moment and like shiver
- 54:10Speaker 1: because it's so embarrassing. But Yo, that happens, all right.
- 54:14Speaker 1: So like when we were coming up in New York
- 54:16Speaker 1: and stuff like that. When I was coming up and
- 54:17Speaker 1: I would go to clubs. If you went to a
- 54:19Speaker 1: club and the DJ was there and you had uh
- 54:23Speaker 1: like we're in movies or in TV shows or something
- 54:26Speaker 1: like that, and there were songs that were related to that,
- 54:29Speaker 1: the DJ would play it to acknowledge you and acknowledge
- 54:32Speaker 1: the fact that you're at the party. So do you
- 54:34Speaker 1: think the DJ did that for us? Definitely? But you
- 54:37Speaker 1: were You acted like you had that had never happened
- 54:39Speaker 1: to you before, Like the dashbook it happened, I know,
- 54:42Speaker 1: but you're supposed to act like you've been there before,
- 54:44Speaker 1: a dog, you're supposed to. I think it was in
- 54:46Speaker 1: Kate Hudson's backyard. It was oh yeah, in front of Leo,
- 54:50Speaker 1: in front of all of them. This it was worse.
- 54:53Speaker 1: It was worse because it was in front of all
- 54:55Speaker 1: these A list celebrities, so cringing. But Donald, I think
- 55:01Speaker 1: you're minimizing the fact that you definitely raised your hand
- 55:03Speaker 1: in the air. I did listen. If anything, you are
- 55:07Speaker 1: my best friend. It's kind of like go out like that.
- 55:10Speaker 1: It's kind of like, oh this guy, dude. It's kind
- 55:14Speaker 1: of like in the show when when Jad lies down
- 55:17Speaker 1: next to Turk on the ground at the basketball game. Yes,
- 55:20Speaker 1: you joined me, he joined me, And when all you're like,
- 55:23Speaker 1: all right, he's gonna make it fool himself. But I'm
- 55:24Speaker 1: not gonna leave my buddy out there to fucking hang
- 55:26Speaker 1: himself alone. All right, Joel is the guest here? Is
- 55:29Speaker 1: guest here? All right, Kay, We're gonna go to break
- 55:31Speaker 1: and we'll be right back with a guest. Edward back.
- 55:43Speaker 1: Let's see who we got for day. Let's see. Oh
- 55:46Speaker 1: we have Katie Price. Hi, ladies and gentlemen, give it
- 55:52Speaker 1: up for Katie Price. And friend and friend is wearing
- 55:58Speaker 1: a wish I Always her t shirt. Hello, my friend,
- 56:00Speaker 1: what's your name? I'm Eric? What is it? And Eric? Eric? Eric?
- 56:07Speaker 1: Nice to meet you and thank you for repping wish
- 56:08Speaker 1: I was here swag. That's a dope shirt. Where are
- 56:13Speaker 1: you guys calling from. We're from a small little city
- 56:16Speaker 1: in Michigan called Albion. Okay, I've never heard of albi,
- 56:21Speaker 1: but I am noticing that Donald is going to geek
- 56:23Speaker 1: out because you have h Star Wars prints on your wall.
- 56:27Speaker 1: What's the story behind those? Well, the first one, the
- 56:29Speaker 1: first one on above Katie, that's the shield generator from
- 56:34Speaker 1: Return of the Jedi, and it looks like an at
- 56:39Speaker 1: Walker walker. And then above I see a speeder bike
- 56:43Speaker 1: and I can't tell what it looks like. Dago Yoda
- 56:48Speaker 1: yea four for four. Well, dude, you what an entrance.
- 56:55Speaker 1: You've got Star Wars prints on the wall, and I
- 56:56Speaker 1: wish I was here. Che shirt you had to sit hello,
- 56:58Speaker 1: and they have a debunking in here. Eric wrote in ahead, Eric,
- 57:04Speaker 1: tell us your story. So I've been listening for the
- 57:07Speaker 1: entire run of the podcast. Thank you, sir. I was.
- 57:11Speaker 1: I started running last year and this was my podcast
- 57:15Speaker 1: I listened to while I was running. Great, so I'd
- 57:18Speaker 1: always hear the guest and like's so cool they call
- 57:21Speaker 1: in they get to talk to you guys, Like, I
- 57:23Speaker 1: can't think of anything that I could bring to the
- 57:25Speaker 1: table to be a good guest until the recent episode
- 57:29Speaker 1: with Sarah Chuck. Okay, and you got to the words
- 57:33Speaker 1: of the end of it, and Donald seemed to think
- 57:35Speaker 1: that there's no way that anyone could date, break up
- 57:41Speaker 1: and then years later get back to Mary. Yes, I
- 57:46Speaker 1: want to hear when it. First of all, hold on,
- 57:47Speaker 1: don't I'm not good. I listen, man, let's stop it,
- 57:51Speaker 1: stop stop it, stop it. Let them have their moment.
- 57:55Speaker 1: They're gonna have the moment. I just want to make
- 57:58Speaker 1: sure that the rules are clear. No, you guys broke up.
- 58:01Speaker 1: You guys broke up because want to use what one
- 58:03Speaker 1: of you was an asshole though? Right? Okay, cool, okay,
- 58:08Speaker 1: all right, okay, let him tell the story. Go ahead,
- 58:10Speaker 1: what's your journey? Tell us your journal. I moved moved
- 58:14Speaker 1: away from my first couple of years of college and
- 58:16Speaker 1: then came back to my hometown college, where I started
- 58:20Speaker 1: to date a girl from my high school right away.
- 58:23Speaker 1: Little did I know that this girl from my high
- 58:25Speaker 1: school was dating this friends with me, friends with sorry, yes,
- 58:29Speaker 1: the girls dating was friends with this absolute rocket here
- 58:32Speaker 1: next to me. Right, So I started developing feelings for her,
- 58:37Speaker 1: broke up with the first girl, started dating her afterwards,
- 58:42Speaker 1: dated for a couple of years, and towards the end
- 58:45Speaker 1: of the couple of years we started to grow part
- 58:48Speaker 1: a little bit. Things got sour. I wasn't the most
- 58:51Speaker 1: mature person, and so we both graduated and I moved
- 58:56Speaker 1: away and she went to grad school. Fast forward a
- 59:01Speaker 1: couple of years. I'm living out in Las Vegas. She
- 59:04Speaker 1: comes out there for a conference. We meet up, hang
- 59:09Speaker 1: out a little bit, and maybe start to rekindle things,
- 59:12Speaker 1: and then of course I'm the asshole and break things
- 59:16Speaker 1: apart again. Oh man, that's two strikes, I know. We
- 59:19Speaker 1: go our separate ways for a couple more years. Fast
- 59:22Speaker 1: forward to twenty twelve. I'm still in grad school doing
- 59:28Speaker 1: my PhD. And I hear from him for the first
- 59:32Speaker 1: time in years because things were not good after the
- 59:35Speaker 1: whole Las Vegas Shenanigan, and he was like, hey, I know,
- 59:40Speaker 1: we haven't talked in a while. I'm gonna be where
- 59:43Speaker 1: you live. Are you around? And I felt kind of
- 59:46Speaker 1: bad for him because he was going to be by
- 59:48Speaker 1: himself in this city where he didn't know anybody in
- 59:50Speaker 1: It was his birthday, So it's like, I'll throw him
- 59:53Speaker 1: a bone. You know, he's nice. You're a nice woman.
- 59:56Speaker 1: Because he had had two different periods of being a
- 59:58Speaker 1: jerk to you. Yeah, and I also, I have to
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: say it was a good thing we broke up because
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: grad school was a really good time of personal growth
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: for me where I got really good at like loving
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: myself and being single and just having fun on my
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: own self. So you you you sort of you did
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: your own thing. You like you got some you got
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: some of that, Yeah, Donald, go ahead, you guys, are
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: you guys aren't giving a good example. I'm gonna be
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: honest with you talking. Let them finish, Okay, So our
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: past kept crossing though over these years, so you don't
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: have to be right. Let them have their moment. I'm
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: going to be right at the end of this. This
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: is a This couple right here is destined to be together.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: You could tell from when they met. This is this
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: is when Harriet, this is a nice little meat cute
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: as he don't worry about don't worry about him. Go ahead,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: So we hang out on my birthday when I'm in
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: her city, and we go back our separate ways. Bate
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: brought us back together again at a friend's father's funeral,
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: brought me home to where she's teaching she's now a
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: college professor, brought me home to where she's teaching. We
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: meet up again, rekindle things. She makes it very clear
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: to me at this point that if you met, like,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: if we're getting back together, this is for real. Yeah.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: I also, in the meantime had a very strict policy
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: with anybody else I was dating, like we date once.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: If we break up, there's a reason it's over. So
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: you didn't with other with other people that you saw,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: you didn't never go back, of course, not yeah, but
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: you obviously you obviously had strong feelings for this guy
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: because somebody there's something special about this was something there. Well,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: So that's kind of the underlying thing is that I
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: was truly and fully in love with Eric when we
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: were in college, and I knew what it felt like
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: to truly be in love with somebody, and I promised
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: myself that I would never get married unless I've felt
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: that way again about somebody. Good for you. So we
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: get back to there and start dating again. She lays
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: it down like, if this is happening, like we're getting married,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Like we're dating again, this is it, Like this is
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: the ultimatum. So I'd done my own personal growth at
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: this point I'd matured. I was like, yep, I'm in
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: So we start dating again, we move into we moved
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: back to the same city again, and we got engaged
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: in twenty twenty fifteen, got married in twenty seventeen, and
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: we're coming up on four years next month. Well, congratulations,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: I'm a romantic so I love stuff like that. Now
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: Donald is going to say why you don't meet the
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: criteria that he said, go ahead, okay, So this story
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: already comes from love. So you knew you were in
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: love all the way back then, and you just were
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: waiting for him to get to the level that you
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: were at. So therefore all of the breakups in your
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: heart because you were in love. We're kind of like,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: you know what, he kind of holds a place I'll
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: see him soon. Where the story would have been would
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: have been held the criteria the girl that you broke
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: up with to get with her after you that and
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: you got back with her, that I would have been like,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: holy shit, that's that. I would have never did your
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: story right there. That's kind of like me and my
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: now wife. I chased after her forever and ever and ever,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: and then she finally said yes. She said yes, when
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: she knew I was ready. It sounds like the same
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: thing with you. It sounds like it sounds like you
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: came back and you were like, gee, how do I
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: keep messing this up? And she was like, well, I'm here,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: and you're like, well, what's up? And then you're like, oh,
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna mess it up again, and she was like,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: when you're ready, I'll be here again. I was not
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: sure he was ever going to get his ship together
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: enough though, but you were banking on. But you had
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: in your heart you knew well, now I'm not gonna
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: say in your heart, but you were hoping he did. Yes.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: I was definitely hoping. You're so lucky that she's so cool. Dude,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: You're a very lucky man. Dude, you are a very
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: lucky man. And I hope you understand this, because anyone, okay,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: anyone who is willing to put up with some bullshit
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: like that to two times where he's like I can't,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: it was it was more. It was many more times
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: than that. I'm always found his way back into my
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: life and then destroyed me. Oh man, well I'm so
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: happy that it destroyed is a heavy I'm saying to
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: damn but I know, damn well, it has a happy
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: ending and that's what we like, and we love people
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: to be happy and in love. We're in the process
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: of finding Joelle love here on the show. Is you know,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: we're still waiting on someone to sponsor the Joelle Loves segment.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: All right, guys, well that's a great story, and I'm
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: welcome to the show. And do you have a question
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: for us? Yes, we do. So we've been fans of
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: the show. That's one of the things we bonded over
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: when we first started dating was the show. She was
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: watching it first. She got me into it, and I
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: like that, that's what's and so it's been something we've
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: been watched. Were we rewatched. We also don't recognize the
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: ninth season as being a thing. It's not part of
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: the original I've never actually been seeing it. Yeah, neither
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: of mine. I've never watched one. I've never watched one
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: episode of the ninth I don't think i've ever watched
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: an episode of scene. It's gonna be really fun when
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: we get to it because we'll be seeing it for
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: the first time. We have the DVD box set from
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: seasons one through eight til we stopped it yeah, that's all.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: We recommend that with so many stories being told during
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: that time, is there any story that you wish had
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: been told, or any story in Scrubs that you wish
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: had been told differently? M? I wish we would have
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: met Turk's father. M. Father. Did you not have a father?
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: I think he does. I'm pretty sure he does. I
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: don't remember why they never got to cast Billy was
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: the dad? No, Billy Dean was Billy Dee was uh
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: Zach's uh girlfriend at the times, father godfather, godfather. Oh yeah,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: and he's really Billy D. And he's really Billy D. Williams. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: because you go ben it D, will you? No? I go, Lando,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: Calarizzi Billy D. Damn it. It's Billy D. Damn it.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: It's Billy D. Damn it. No, Cal I told y'all
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: the story on what I did when I did that
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: to him in real life and what happened. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: did not go well for me. I don't know if
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: you're gonna be playing young Lando anytime soon. Well, it did,
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: it didn't happen. It did it already didn't happen. And
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: the meme that you posted online was one of the
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: worst things you've ever done to mother. I remember being
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: so upset but so thinking it was so funny when Lando,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: when Donald Glover was announced as Lando Calarissian. Zach Braff
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: posts the picture the meme of me in the back
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: in the in the car from Clueless, when the truck
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: comes behind me and I'm yelling he and he wrote
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: under it, when you find out you're not playing Lando, adamage.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: I don't forgot I did that. That's funny that it
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: was so I remember being so I remember the laughing.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: You were mad dude when listen when it said when
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: it said Lando Calarissia is gonna be played by Donald
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: and then dot dot dot dot dot. I think I
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: think all media was fucking with me that day. I
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: think all media was fucking with me that day. They
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: didn't they could have said Donald Glover right away, but
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: they wrote Donald dot dot dot dot, and I was like,
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: I got a chance quick. You thought you might not
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: have been warned that you had been cast as you like,
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: I'm just reading the news. I don't know. I don't
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: know how shit works. You hear people are freaking driving
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: in their car and they get nominated for Academy Awards
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: and shit like that. I was like, maybe this is
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: how the shit happens for me. Maybe my life gets
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: turned upside down like the fresh Prince of bell Air
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: the same way that you know. Maybe it happens over
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: the trades. Maybe that's how I find out and it
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: didn't happen that way. I think I'm hoping that's how
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: I find out. I'm in one of these Star Wars shows.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Donald Fazon is cast as such and such in one
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: of these Star Wars shows. I gotta I gotta make
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: that happen. Man, I wish there was something I wish.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: There's nothing you can do unless you work for Lucasfilm.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: Let's start speaking of Are you guys watching any I
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: hate to do it, but I'm gonna. Are you guys
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: watching WandaVision? We haven't watched today's episode yet? Oh my god,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: it's so good. I know, Joel turn your key, Joel
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: it turned? I haven't seen it yet, is it is? He?
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Oh my listen, if you have, you have you Daniel's
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: not watching any of anytime. I'm just happy you're watching
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: a TV show, my friend, because you don't normally you
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: only watch the final because it's like a movie because
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: it's crazy to watch it. It is so and the
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: way they flawlessly moved between television formats and film formats
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: is mind blowing. Then they got like top tier actors.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: Tiana Parish is just killing it. They are not words
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: to discuss the talent this woman has. If you kill
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: the mill Street to talk, she's the main girl in that.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: They cast her in here to play Monica Rambo, one
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: of them killing bad ist mother efforts ever to be
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: in Marvel bad motherfuckers ever. No, Joell, no, no, no,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: I'm I'm trying. When it's PG and Disney, I try
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: to stay away from them. I'm trying to corrupt. I'm
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: trying to corrupt Joel and to turn it too, turning
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: to the side that I'm on. But we have two takes.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: We can elaborately bleep me out. But the show is
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: it's very, very good and I love Why can I
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: not think of Janda's actual human name? You mean you
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: mean a little very Mary Mary Kayton Nashley's sister. Yeah,
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: a little baby sister. Oh. She is so talented and
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: really holding down the four on the show. It's exciting.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: I don't know where it's going. It's a really great
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: in a year where we haven't had a Marvel movie.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: It's like a really interesting way to be like Marvel,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: to move into the next phaise. Like I think there're
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: maybe one of the very few companies that it's like
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: this pandemic might work for us, Like we can build
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: a ton of story out and explore new world and
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: really get people into whatever our second wave is gonna look.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Like I huge fan of the show, really enjoying this.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: If this is what TV is now, if this is
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: what television is going to be, holy cow, we are
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: it's about to get it. We're about to jump to
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: the next level. You know, if Disney has taken over
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: where Lucasfilm left off, they're doing it right. Because TV
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: is now, it's it's it might as well look it's
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: it is a movie. It looks just like the movie,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: just like it and it never did that before. And
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: now we're there when they go from the four by
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: three ft and it starts to slowly pan out and
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: then go to the y screen like you know, it's
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: about to go down. Yeah, that's cool, that's cool. I
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: want to check it out. Yeah, I've been hearing great
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: things about it, and that's something I'll watch. Donald, We're
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: gonna have a show that we both watch besides Mandalorian.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: I love it all right, what's your next question? So
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: I know that Scrubs has been said to be one
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: of the most medically accurate shows. My mom was a nurse.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: She was even like, this is the closest it actually is,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: you know, to real life in a hospital. It's also
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: very useful in academia. I swear somebody in the writer's
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: room took a calm one O one textbook opened it
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: up two chapters about listening, identity, and conflict. And I
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times I have watched My
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: Own American Girl, My Office and My fifteen Seconds to
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: teach those concepts in the class room. What do you
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: use them? Do you use them in the classroom? Yeah,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: I've watched them with my students. You're that you're that
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: cool teacher that rolls in remember and when we were
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: in when we were in public school, and they would
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: roll in the TV cart and you were like, yes,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: TV cart. Yeah, So I've gotten I've gotten some students
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: in two Scrubs. We appreciate you, but I am curious
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: if since it clearly has applications to lots of different
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: areas of life. If you have heard of any other
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: industries that have found scrubs to be useful, No, I
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: personally haven't, but I love the fact that you see that.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: I don't think I've ever heard of anyone referencing it
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: besides the medical community, which seems to really love it.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: It's good because it was a network TV show, so
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: there's not a lot of swear words are graphic sex
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: or anything, so you can mean there was some mean,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: there's a lot of todd, a lot of todd. Yeah,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: it's pretty sexy for a for a network show, though,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: I think, especially in this episode, Donald Sung getting gyrated
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: on by an erotic dancer. Well, no, Turkey is. I
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: wasn't Turk was. Well, you were in real life, I
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: was acting. You don't remember shooting. You don't remember shooting
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: that scene. There's so many strip clubs, Zach, so much. Okay,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: it just goes together with all your other experiences. All right,
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: it's time ladies and gentlemen. Drum roll, danalel I want
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: a drum roll here, timpany drum roll, thought Daniel. It's
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: time for a tiny town in Michigan's favorite segment, it's
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: time to fix yeah life? All right, go ahead, guys,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: how can we fix your life? You seem like pretty
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: happy people, but we're gonna do it anyway. So this
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: is kind of a fix our life plus probably fix
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: a lot of people's lives. Yes, we've we've done during pandem,
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: We've done puzzles, we've done baking together, we've gone for walks,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: we've kind of done a lot of card games. We've
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: done a lot of stuff, and so we're kind of
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: running out of things to do. So anything that you
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: guys have done with your significant others or other people
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: in your lives that you can share that we can
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: also do to stave off some boredom. Great idea. We
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: started a garden. You have a beautiful garden. You have
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: room for a garden. Beautiful gardens. I know it's freezing
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: because it's Michigan. It's not the Yeah, sorry, it's not
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: gonna work. Sorry where it's seventy right now? What I
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: would about to say, what can you grow that by
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: by May you can plant and be ready to you
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: know what I mean? What is there that you can
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: do indoor and then take it outdoor because it's like
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: you're you're creating a baby. Yeah, a little right, could
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: you could? You could do seedlings like in your window.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: It is fun to watch everything grow. That's something that
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: we've done that I really enjoy. What's the favorite thing
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: that you plant in tomatoes? I mean, it's not the
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: season even in a lafe for tomatoes, but we planted
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: so many cherry tomatoes and it's like they're green. They're green,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: the green all of a sudden one week, it's just
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: like so many. You have to just give them away
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: and you eat them off the vine and they're so delicious,
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: and heirloom tomatoes we had, we had, I mean, I
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: was just like giving tomatoes away to all my friends
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: and neighbors because we have so many. Yeah, Donald, your hand,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: you're the coach. I don't want to. I don't want
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: I don't want to cut you off. Why why don't
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: you guys do grapes? That would be great? I did
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: owe them, no you, Zach, I did imagine having just
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: as I think that vineyard looks so cool, like just
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: doing a section like that. But I don't know, there's people,
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: there's companies that like if you have like a small
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: amount of grapes, you know, not like zero, not like nothing,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: but like, you know, a low amount of grapes that
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: you're only gonna get a couple of bottles of wine
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: at them. There's companies that will take all your grapes
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: that you harvest and make you like two bottles of
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: wine from your crop or whatever it is. I don't know,
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: I think it was. That would be really cool if
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: you got some wine, if you made some wine and
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: then put it up on the Fake Doctor's Real Friends site.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: And I don't think that I could could make enough
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: wine on my on my my b one bottle, one bottle,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: one bottle. We've been on it, we have people been
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: on and it goes to charity. That would be so cool.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: That's a good idea, that would be so cool. I
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: just have to play you know what here, guys, forget
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: about fixing your life. We're gonna fix Zach's life now
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: za thinking we thank you? What else at all? Like
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: it's it seems sort of sometimes tribularly silly, but I
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: like just painting, like just movie paint around, experimenting with
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: colors and mixings, and it's like a small investment. But
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: once you have it like on a nice sunny day
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: you just want to like go outside and paint a field,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: and you can easily track your progress as you grow
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: as an artist, and then you have nice gifts for
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: everybody birthdays, holidays, just because it's be like, oh, you
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: moved in here, have a painting, you need something on
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: your walls. It's like, it's just a really lovely like
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: hobby that you can do it by yourself or together.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: I got one. Go ahead. Now you're gonna think it's
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: weird and you're not gonna want to do it. So
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: it sounds great so far. Maybe you will, Maybe you will,
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: But I do I do I do animation. That could
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: be something you could get into together. You know what
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: I mean? Why not? You got a bunch of time
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: on your hand. It takes a lot of time. Well,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: you're you're this is You're you're saying like, this is
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: a this is a hobby that you're very skilled at
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: and have had ten thousand hours of experience. That's somebody.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: You don't just dip your toe and stop motion animation.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: Sure you do. That's how it starts. You say, hey,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: you know what, let's get some play. Though you get
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: you got Adapts on the Wall, you got you know,
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: you've got a bunch of Star Wars stuff. So it's
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: clear that you're into that type of stuff, So why
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: not why not create? You guys could create your own
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: little shorts, create your own little the software. It's inexpensive.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: It doesn't take much. You can even buy Lego or
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: whatever to tell your story. What do they call that
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: series of Lego that where they're like the town where
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: they you know, not really creator creator, Yeah, that series
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: if you want to. Really, it's like I thought of
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: it like doing a puzzle in a sense that it's
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: a big ass house and it's not meant for a child.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: I mean, I think it says like sixteen and up
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: or something. But that's fun to do together. That's something
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: I didn't do during the pandemic, but I have done.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: When I was procrastinating is supposed to be writing, I
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: was like, I know what I'll do. I'll write after
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: I build this giant Lego house. I have another really
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: quick idea that my friends are doing that are a
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: couple as like they're reading to each other every day,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: which I think is just the sweetest thing. I don't know,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: you're a professor. So maybe you're like a girl, I
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: don't want to read anything else, but I get home,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: I'm done. But if you guys enjoy Star Wars, there's
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: an entire new line of Star Wars books coming out
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: that are really well written. If you're into Star Wars
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: High Republic, it's years before the movie, so that's kind
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: of funny universe to dive into. And I just spent
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: like two or three hours reading to each other each night,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: and I just think it's so romantic, it's sweet, it's
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: very sweets. Do well. What kind of paints do you
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: paint with? Oh, I'm partial to watercolors because they're not
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: as expensive as oils, and they're easier to blend. Like
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: you gotta really be in there with like oils with
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: the like metal tool and mashing, and I'm like, I'm
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: gonna mess it up. And then I spent fifty dollars
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: on this one tube of paint, and I'm angry. There's watercolors.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: You know, you spent fifty dollars. You could think a
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: nice little palette. I mostly like to do like sunsets,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: like obsessed with painting sunsets. They're not hard at all.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: They're fun. You don't feel like a failure. Afterwards, people
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: are like, that's a sunset, Like, yes, it is. Thank
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: you because you are very special guests, and because you're
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: wearing that very awesome T shirt. We're gonna give you
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: a special prize today. You're the first recipient. Wait, do
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: you have a record player? Yes? Okay, I'm gonna give
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: you a signed of Wish I was here. Yay, So
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: that's awesome. Joel will get your address and I will
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: write you a personal note. And this is a really
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: beautiful double album. And it's one hundred and eighty Grahams,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: which means it's good. And it's from Zach and Donald. Yes.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: By the way, by the way, if you look closely,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: that's Donald's arms because this is the scene where we
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: drive the aston Martin Donald. You probably didn't know this.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: Your your arms are on the poster? Is that meet
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: the look? Oh? Yeah, I recognize that. Now. Well I
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: know something funny. Do I know a bit of funny trivia?
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: So when you when you make a movie poster, every
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: actor has a different contractual thing. If they're they have
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: to be on the poster or it's up to the filmmakers.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: It's it's all in the contract and in certain things,
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: it's like, well, if you show one person that they
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: have it in their contract, like, well, if this person's
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: face is on the on the poster, then mine has
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: to be on the poster. It's all this, you know,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: small print stuff. While we're making the poster. It turns
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: out and Josh Gad wouldn't have cared, but it didn't matter.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: It was already in the in the contract. If his
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: face was on the poster, then it triggered other people
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: had to be on the poster and we couldn't have
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: that because we like the design. So Josh Gad is
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: technically on, but we put a glare over his face.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: You see that. That is it's a little bit of
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: trivia for you. Oh if you're looking as Josh is
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: a cool dude, because I'd be like, looks strategically placed
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: glare over his face. That's so funny. Pretty sneaky, Zach,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: pretty sneaky. All right, guys, thank you for coming on
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: the show. You can stay because we're done, right fans,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: we sold out donald of those of the of the
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: key chain things, the lockets, they sold out like in
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: twenty four hours, no matter how many things we put
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: up they're gone. Do you think it had something to
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: do with me singing Annie? Yes, yes, of course maybe.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: I can't fathom how many of those things we bought.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: See what you did there, Daniel, Daniel, Daniel? Did you
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: plan that? Daniel? Did you plan that? You did? Let's
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: take credit you did? What can I say? So? The
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: only thing exciting new thing we have in the merge shop,
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: if you're intrigued, is we have these badge poles. If
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: you have a job where you need to pull out
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: your your badge, why not look cool with Donald and
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: I snuggling on your chest. A right, all you lovers
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: out there, ye pulls for all you love. By the way,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: we know we created the keychain thing for a Valentine's
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: they gift, but they're sold out. So give your lover
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: a badge pull for all you lovers out there. We
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: have You can attach the badge part to your lover's
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: waist and then clip this on your waist and then
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: you guys can just go like this back and forth
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: and bag. I thought you were gonna say something else.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: I'm so glad you didn't. Let us move on to
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: the end of the show, where Carrie Brothers will be
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: singing yes, So everybody, thank you for tuning in. We
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: care about you, Stay safe, be kind, love each other
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: like this beautiful couple does. And we're gonna end the
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: show with our friend Carrie Brothers, who is an incredibly
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: talented musician, and here is his song that everybody loves.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: Go ahead, don what are you trying to say when
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: I first heard this song? And you, guys, tell me
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: when you listen to it, if you understand and what
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: he's saying in the first verse, it's something like wishing
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: a wiseman to tell you lie, No, this is what
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: I'm talking about. When the blue talsing, What the heck
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: does he say right there? Wood? I asked him once.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: He was like, I don't know what I'm saying. Yes,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: I asked him, and he said he didn't know. When
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: you listen to listen to them. When you listen to
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: the song, now you'll see, uh, you'll see if you
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: can find out what Carry's singing about. And also check
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: out Carry Brothers music because he's a friend of ours,
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: he's a friend of the show, and he's a delightful
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: human being. So here's Carry Brothers with Blue Eyes love you,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: Michael Wiseman to lie when a broom screams. Children of
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: single tragic scene. I swan se song you. I swan
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: take it off you. It's black you, I near it's
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: black your sweet SMI listen TI on the ponm your hair.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: I can have day saved it up for this dance.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Tell me our friends. Can I have a swung Si
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: song you? I swung strung spr your own silke splace,
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: old song, A life which can't on me, your heart
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: to blind stars, all life, but you don't know. Turn
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: up the grass. It's b you disles. That's one, the
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: one I won't say so, that's one gets yours good.
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: I ken it's bad that small sense, all that small
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: cities are young. That's true sense.
