- 0:21her chicken coop along with all her chickens.
- 0:27Hey, everybody. Good morning.
- 0:29From the chicken coop Today we are talking about thoughts and
- 0:32how thoughts attract more thoughts.
- 0:35So this is kind of complex line of thinking.
- 0:40So I just want to make sure you follow along with it.
- 0:43So I'm going to try to keep it as simple as I possibly can, but
- 0:47as you know, things are magnetized, thoughts are
- 0:50magnetized. We've talked about this before
- 0:52and when you start having a thought.
- 0:55Thoughts build on more thoughts and they start to stack and they
- 1:00start to breed with each other. They start to just like
- 1:04intertwine. They start to fuse together.
- 1:06You know when you start to have a series of thoughts, they tend
- 1:09to start to wire together. Now you know, it's like the the
- 1:13neurons that fire together wire together.
- 1:16So you start to. Build up what we would refer to
- 1:20as evidence, procedures. With things, you start to think
- 1:23about stuff in a certain pattern and all of a sudden that pattern
- 1:26is built. So this is a really great thing.
- 1:29As long as it's resourceful and it's serving you.
- 1:31It is a horrible thing when it's not serving you.
- 1:35So let me give you an example. My husband and my son went away
- 1:39for the weekend and for some reason whenever they go away.
- 1:44I always have trouble sleeping. I don't know what it is and and
- 1:47and I it's just me. I just always don't sleep as
- 1:50soundly as I typically do when they're here.
- 1:52I think a lot of women have that issue and it just, you know,
- 1:57takes place. But anyway I when I return my
- 2:01television on it automatically goes to a Samsung channel.
- 2:05Not sure why, but it automatically goes to a Samsung
- 2:08channel. On that Channel is.
- 2:11Always playing Dateline. Don't know what deal they got,
- 2:14but it's always playing Dateline now.
- 2:18I am one of those people that loves mysteries.
- 2:21When I grew up, I, my mother, read every Nancy Drew book to
- 2:25me. We were always watching stuff
- 2:27like that it. It intrigues me to figure out
- 2:30what was someone thinking. Obviously that whole thing is my
- 2:33world, right? Like I'm always trying to figure
- 2:35out what was the purpose. Where were they going with this?
- 2:38You know, how how did they get to this place?
- 2:41So it's just part of my curiosity to know those things,
- 2:45but it also scares the living daylights out of me so as I am.
- 2:50Here by myself, I recognize that the whenever I click the
- 2:54television on just for background noise because it's
- 2:57stupid. That's how I grew up.
- 2:58If there was not noise in the house and meaning music or
- 3:02television, my mother would always have it on.
- 3:04So I just click the TV on them before you know what you're
- 3:06watching. Dateline and it's murder after
- 3:10murder after murder. Well, what does that do?
- 3:13Does it make you smarter? It can, because you start to
- 3:16think things through and you start to see how stuff blends
- 3:19and you start to see how people work.
- 3:21So that's intriguing to me. But it also makes you paranoid.
- 3:25So I'm thinking to myself, oh gosh, now This is why I'm not
- 3:29sleeping. This is why I'm not sleeping,
- 3:30because I'm thinking of all these things and the sounds.
- 3:33And then of course, randomly, you know, the cat will start
- 3:36staring at something out the door and you're like, and she's
- 3:39standing up on her hind legs looking and then the dog barks.
- 3:42Before you know it, you're freaked out.
- 3:44So. This is perfect example for how
- 3:47thoughts attract thoughts and they build and they don't build
- 3:51what you want, They're building what you don't want.
- 3:53They're building the opposite of it in this case.
- 3:56So if you look at it and you start to think about this topic
- 4:00because again, it's a complex topic because we often don't
- 4:04realize the little tiny things that we are building every
- 4:08single day. What we realize is the big
- 4:11emotions will feel the big emotions, but we don't pay
- 4:14attention to the small ones that we think are somewhat
- 4:18insignificant. But they're not, because those
- 4:20small ones are the ones that are more likely to be the most
- 4:24consistent ones, and they are the ones that take you out.
- 4:27So immediately, as soon as I recognized what was happening, I
- 4:32was like, OK, I have to be done with this.
- 4:34I can't watch this anymore and I didn't watch it.
- 4:37I just stopped cold Turkey and I that was it.
- 4:40I was done. And magically I slept.
- 4:43Which is not a surprise, honestly.
- 4:45Because guess what? When I recognize it, I have a
- 4:50choice. Then I can build my momentum in
- 4:52the right direction, or I can keep doing the wrong thing, but
- 4:56I realize I've got to do the right thing.
- 4:58And then doing the right thing. I cut it off.
- 5:00I stop it. Boom, I'm good.
- 5:03So This is why it's complex. Because if you don't catch it
- 5:06when it's small, then you're killing a dragon.
- 5:09You're not taking out this small little tiny monster.
- 5:13You're having to kill something that's ginormous, and in the
- 5:16process of having to kill something ginormous, it's much
- 5:19more difficult to handle. So do yourself a favor.
- 5:23Work on the small things. Work on the tiny things.
- 5:26Work on the things that you know you can take on easy.
- 5:31And remember, thoughts attract thoughts and build, so they can
- 5:34also work in the positive. Now I gave you the -1 today, or
- 5:38the darker one, because I wanted you to realize how simple it is
- 5:42and how something like a TV show can do it to you.
- 5:45But good ones build on good ones.
- 5:47So you can build that way too, by doing your mantras every day,
- 5:51by reading every morning, by doing the good stuff.
- 5:54You can do that by listening to healthy things.
- 5:57It matters. All right, my friends, I hope
- 6:00you have a blessed day and I will see you tomorrow.
- 6:03Bye.
