- 0:27Welcome to the Pop Culture Junkie podcast. I'm Nicole and I'm here with my fellow Junkies.
- 0:32Olivia and Shauna.
- 0:34And you probably don't remember me. I haven't been here in quite a time.
- 0:38Oh, remember?
- 0:40Oh, I remember.
- 0:42You obviously cannot digitally see if you were listening on a podcast,
- 0:47but when Nicole walked up to me, I called her Australian Barbie,
- 0:51also Shrimp on the Bobby.
- 0:53But you look beautiful and you look glowing and I'm so happy to have you back.
- 1:00You're so glad to see back.
- 1:03Wish, I mean, but I'm so happy to be back. I'm fucking awesome.
- 1:10When you get back from vacation, you're like, okay, I'm glad to be back because I kind of miss my
- 1:15vacation or my dog or I miss my own pillow.
- 1:19But then like, you don't want to be back because obviously I have to go to work.
- 1:24Yeah, exactly.
- 1:25Post vacation depression is a very real thing.
- 1:28It's been a lot of fun.
- 1:30Sometimes I feel like you need at least one to two days to decompress.
- 1:34I got a vacation from your vacation.
- 1:36You were born for so long, so I don't know if you're able to do that.
- 1:39But what do you want to tell us about your vacation?
- 1:42Can you tell us anything?
- 1:44Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:46She became a spy. That's why she's been wrong.
- 1:49No one remembers. She's pulling him in black.
- 1:51I'm working for the government.
- 1:52She's actually a race of allies.
- 1:54Can you tell us?
- 1:55Of course.
- 1:56It was by far hands down the best vacation I've ever been on.
- 2:00Oh, okay.
- 2:01So you went on her first.
- 2:02Yes.
- 2:03Absolutely not.
- 2:05So let us.
- 2:07No, I went on a 17-day cruise and it boarded out of Sydney, Australia.
- 2:14So did you fly from LAX?
- 2:17I did.
- 2:18Yes, I did.
- 2:19So I flew from LAX to Sydney.
- 2:22How long was that flight?
- 2:2415 and a half hours.
- 2:25That's so long.
- 2:26Crazy crazy.
- 2:27But I worked it out.
- 2:30It was fine.
- 2:31Yeah, yeah.
- 2:32Luckily being in the airline industry being a flight attendant, I like flying.
- 2:35She's six feet.
- 2:36It was fine.
- 2:37But don't even think about that.
- 2:38Yeah.
- 2:39You're just like this is fine.
- 2:40There's like a bump in your sight.
- 2:41It's chill.
- 2:42It's a little bad, but again, since that's my job, I'm used to it.
- 2:46I don't really care.
- 2:47I've been reading too many flight books.
- 2:49Yes.
- 2:50And where you're like, oh, yeah.
- 2:52I'm over the sea.
- 2:53Yes.
- 2:54But we got to Sydney a day early because you never ever, ever want to fly into your cruise on the day of.
- 3:00Yeah.
- 3:01You want to fly in the day before?
- 3:02Yeah.
- 3:03So we flew in the day before.
- 3:04We say like we go at all these international cruise.
- 3:06I have been on a cruise.
- 3:07I have been on an international cruise.
- 3:09I went out one when I was okay.
- 3:10But yeah.
- 3:11I was just alone for the ride.
- 3:12I'm a child lecture.
- 3:13I did go with my boyfriend and his family.
- 3:16So his parents were already there when we got to Sydney.
- 3:19Oh my God, you met the parent.
- 3:20I met.
- 3:21She's known them.
- 3:22We've known them before I started dating him.
- 3:25Oh, that's right.
- 3:26You guys were like, yeah.
- 3:27Well, you were just able to be a jackass and publicer.
- 3:30Basically.
- 3:31But we met them in Sydney and then the day we got there.
- 3:36We got there at like six in the morning by the time the time difference and everything.
- 3:39So we walked around Sydney.
- 3:41Very beautiful city.
- 3:42How do we highly recommend?
- 3:43We toured the opera house, which was so cool.
- 3:48Absolutely gorgeous.
- 3:49I cannot describe its beauty.
- 3:51It was absolutely stunning.
- 3:52I want to go back and just see shows there because it was that gorgeous.
- 3:56Yeah.
- 3:57And just knowing the history of the place, it was incredible.
- 4:01It took 16 years to build it.
- 4:03Yeah.
- 4:04And the next day we ported and we went to a bunch of different places.
- 4:10We went to New Zealand, which is gorgeous.
- 4:13I want to keep you just like, uh, were you larping?
- 4:16Did you larp a little bit?
- 4:17We imagined you larping.
- 4:18I don't know what that means.
- 4:20Live action role play.
- 4:22So Lord of the Rings was filmed in New Zealand.
- 4:25Yeah.

- 11:13- Ooh. - Yeah.
- 11:14- Were you on the boat when you did that?
- 11:16- Yes, it was like middle night. - Did it?
- 11:17- I would say it.
- 11:18Not at the time that it was happening
- 11:20'cause it was middle of the night.
- 11:21It was like 2 a.m.
- 11:22- It just wakes you up.
- 11:23(laughing)
- 11:24- What happened?
- 11:25- What happened?
- 11:26- Yeah, no, they didn't wake us up thankfully,
- 11:30but it was really cool that I was just able to experience that.
- 11:33- Yes, that's it.
- 11:34- Just waking up to my phone,
- 11:35changing to like a totally different day.
- 11:37- Yeah. - But that was cool.
- 11:39And then my other favorite thing was just,
- 11:41oh my gosh, the amount of food I've consumed
- 11:44on this trip. - That's the best part
- 11:45of my kitchen. - Yeah, it's the best thing.
- 11:47- Adolvingations. - Yeah.
- 11:48Literally.
- 11:49- The best thing I ate was probably,
- 11:52they had a really, really good Italian dinner
- 11:55at the dining room. - Right.
- 11:56- And I've never been on a cruise,
- 11:59so I didn't know how the dining rooms were.
- 12:00- You won't sit with like other people.
- 12:02- So we sat all together.
- 12:04It was just a huge family. - It was just a big group.
- 12:06- I was just standing there too often.
- 12:06- Yeah.
- 12:07So it was just us, but I didn't realize that
- 12:10it was like a three-course meal,
- 12:11so you have to order the appetizer, main, and dessert.
- 12:14But I didn't realize that you could order multiple on each.
- 12:18- Round? - Yeah.
- 12:20- I think it was an amplitude. - I think it was an amplitude.
- 12:21- It was a little upstairs. - Yeah, I didn't know
- 12:22you could order two at two mains,
- 12:25and like three desserts if you wanted.
- 12:27- I didn't, because my stomach
- 12:29when I had been able to handle that,
- 12:30and I was sharing the room with his Nana.
- 12:32- Oh, oh! - And she just be gassing out
- 12:34Nana all night.
- 12:35- Oh, I forgot about sharing the room with Nana.
- 12:39How was that? - It was good.
- 12:41Yeah, yeah, I was good. - Nana's a good roommate.
- 12:43- Nana's chill. - I'm gonna ask you anything.
- 12:45- I'll just be fit. - I could be fit.
- 12:47- Nana's chill. - Nana's chill.
- 12:48- She shows me like this.
- 12:50- Don't say it. - Don't you got it.
- 12:53- We love Nana. - Nana, shout out to Nana.
- 12:56- Nana says, "If you two believe the suck on a door,
- 12:59I'll just go to the poker tables for a couple of hours."
- 13:03Don't you worry, kid.
- 13:04- I'm gonna hit her in the shot.
- 13:06- I'm gonna hit the slots for her.
- 13:08- Don't go, "How was it?
- 13:09It's yours, love."
- 13:10- Absolutely not.
- 13:12- Yes, yes.
- 13:14Okay, Nana, no one toward acts were happening in Nana's room.
- 13:19- Yep. - And we're gonna leave it there.
- 13:21- She doesn't get to leave there, so.
- 13:23- What a, what a faintly woman.
- 13:25- She what? - She's a gamble.
- 13:26- Nana's a Sam. - Oh, shout out to Nana.
- 13:28- We love her. - We love Nana.
- 13:29- Love you, love Nana.
- 13:31- Okay, this was like your bucket list, right?
- 13:34- Basically New Zealand was definitely a top location
- 13:37that I've been wanting to go to.
- 13:38- What's next for Jet Set Early?
- 13:42- My next is, you know, we're just gonna keep it a secret.
- 13:47- Oh. - Oh.
- 13:49- Yeah. - Push.
- 13:50- Stay tuned.
- 13:51- Can you tell us how you feel?
- 13:52- I know all my stalkers following me.
- 13:53- Yeah, there you go.
- 13:55- Can we talk about this vacation that you've already been on?
- 13:57- Yeah. - Yeah.
- 13:58- Yeah, it's an area of that's favorite.
- 14:00- Mine is, where's your dream figure?
- 14:03- Okay.
- 14:04So, I've already mentioned it before.
- 14:07We've been to Tokyo twice, New Zealand.
- 14:11But like, Maya has been as always like,
- 14:13let's go back to Japan.
- 14:14We haven't been to Kyoto.
- 14:15And I'm like, no, we haven't.
- 14:17But you know, there's like a whole big world out there, right?
- 14:20- Yeah. - So what's here?
- 14:21- So for our 10 year wedding anniversary,
- 14:24which is next year, right?
- 14:26- Yeah, in February, we married 10 years,
- 14:29which is crazy because I'm only 25 years old.
- 14:32- In a hour's that work.
- 14:34- I'm sure even the viewers say he married you at 15.
- 14:37- The math thing in math, then.
- 14:39- Oh God.
- 14:40- No, if I got married at 15, I'd be married to scrapbook.
- 14:44- Oh, anyway. - You wish.
- 14:45- Oh, God. - You wish.
- 14:48- For our anniversary, and I'm putting this out
- 14:51in the podcast because this means my husband actually
- 14:53has to do it now because everyone's gonna hold him accountable.
- 14:56You really wanna go to like Italy,
- 14:59or I'm sorry, not Italy.
- 15:00We wanna do that eventually,
- 15:01but I think it would make more sense to go of it
- 15:03originally to Ireland, France, and England.
- 15:08Because you can go to all three of those pretty easily
- 15:11and kind of travel between three of them.
- 15:14I don't know, we've been to Rocky Point a couple times.
- 15:17We wanna go deeper into Mexico
- 15:19and actually experience like--
- 15:20- A boom in the Mexican city.
- 15:21- Exactly, I wanna go to Mexico City.
- 15:23I wanna experience Mexican culture.
- 15:25I wanna see-- - Sinking.
- 15:27I wanna-- - I wanna see.
- 15:27- I wanna see.
- 15:28- Mexico City is sinking.
- 15:29Why?
- 15:31Because they were pulling too much water out of the like ground.
- 15:38And so it's sinking.
- 15:39- I didn't know.
- 15:40- Yeah, I'm treasy.
- 15:41So I'll probably only have like another 200 years to go
- 15:44before it's totally done.
- 15:46I don't know.
- 15:48I think it's gonna go soon, I'm gonna bet.
- 15:51- I do wanna go to Mexico City.
- 15:52I wanna see actual Mexico, not the Rocky Point
- 15:55as an actual Mexico.
- 15:57- But I wanna go further than a used-use student
- 16:00showing our TITs for Mexico.
- 16:01- It's free break.
- 16:02- Free break Mexican. - Exactly.
- 16:03- There you go.
- 16:04- I wanna see where Andrew's family is from.
- 16:06- Where are they from?
- 16:08- Yes, family from Ciloa and family from Chihuahua.
- 16:11I don't know what it's like to travel there
- 16:12to be quite honest, but be interested in seeing
- 16:15where he has not agree with.
- 16:16- I did just watch a true crime documentary
- 16:20where they're in Ciloa.
- 16:22- No, I think they're in Chihuahua.
- 16:25- And it's called Murder Among the Mormons.
- 16:27- Oh good.
- 16:28- To be--
- 16:29- I know it's right 'cause my dad was Mormon.
- 16:31- Oh, there you go.
- 16:33- They're in Dresden.
- 16:34- Oh my God, can you imagine how great the podcast would do
- 16:37if I got murdered?
- 16:38And there was like--
- 16:40- Absolutely not.
- 16:40- I can't wait to talk about that.
- 16:42- Yeah, you guys could talk about it after a minute.
- 16:44- Just kidding.
- 16:45- Just--
- 16:46- No, I wanna go to Mexico.
- 16:48I wanna go, but for our anniversary,
- 16:49I wanna go to France, England, and Ireland.
- 16:54And I think that's gonna be our next one.
- 16:55- Okay, I feel like you could do that.
- 16:57- You could also larp Game of Thrones.
- 17:00- Oh my God.
- 17:02- Andrew would probably be down for a larp,
- 17:04but to be honest.
- 17:05- Yeah, probably be down.
- 17:06- Yes, I would do that.
- 17:08I would go do the Game of Thrones tour,
- 17:10because I was there.
- 17:11- I didn't want it to larp.
- 17:12- I know.
- 17:14- I feel like you're Jason, you cause pun.
- 17:16- Do you know who in larp with me is Haley?
- 17:18- Haley, you in larp with me?
- 17:20- Haley, you have totally larp with me.
- 17:22- Haley, please, larp with me now and elsewhere.
- 17:25- Shout out to Haley.
- 17:26- I'll just go.
- 17:28- Yeah.
- 17:29- The two of you are so happy to be there.
- 17:31- I was like, you go and see me.
- 17:33- Go, you go right ahead, baby.
- 17:34- Love this journey for you,
- 17:36- Yes.
- 17:36- The life.
- 17:37- What about you?
- 17:39- What about you?
- 17:41- Australia and New Zealand is definitely one.
- 17:44- Love it, love it.
- 17:45- For me, Nicole inspires me.
- 17:49When I have to get the deeds on the cruise,
- 17:52I have also always wanted to go to Fiji.
- 17:56- Oh my God, yeah, it's amazing.
- 17:59- Yeah.
- 18:00- In Thailand.
- 18:01- Yeah, Thailand would be cool.
- 18:04It's pretty cheap once you get there, but expensive.
- 18:08- That's how I feel about Tokyo is getting there.
- 18:12Obviously, it's expensive.
- 18:15Like, I know we're slanting our privilege a bit
- 18:18and I do want to acknowledge that.
- 18:19Not everyone has to do,
- 18:20"Oh, I just want to go to Tokyo."
- 18:22And friends, like, yeah.
- 18:24- That's why we've said a dream.
- 18:25- Exactly.
- 18:26- A dream.
- 18:27- Exactly.
- 18:28- When you get to Tokyo, once you actually get there,
- 18:31the food is actually pretty affordable.
- 18:34Like, a bowl of ramen is $5, $6.
- 18:38- You mean you can afford food
- 18:40for the crazy concept?
- 18:42- That's insane.
- 18:44- The American dollar over there.
- 18:47Like, Australia and New Zealand, French-Bellen,
- 18:50way high.
- 18:51- Yeah. - Really?
- 18:52- Yeah.
- 18:53- That's nice.
- 18:53- That's nice.
- 18:54- Okay.
- 18:55- Nicole is Australia and the cruise is next,
- 18:59random mouth.
- 19:01- I'm 100% sorry.
- 19:02- We're already planning our next cruise.
- 19:03- Are you?
- 19:04- Yeah.
- 19:05- I love a cruise.
- 19:06- I love this romantic jet setting life.
- 19:08- You're so much.
- 19:10- Or two fly detention.
- 19:11- Oh, just two fly detention.
- 19:13- Love it so much.
- 19:14- And that's a good thing about working for the airline too,
- 19:16is I literally just made the tactics on my flights.
- 19:19- Uh-huh.
- 19:20- So for me, again, I'm not trying to brag about something
- 19:25out there.
- 19:26- Like, you just said,
- 19:27- I'm not trying to show the privilege or anything.
- 19:30- For me to fly from LAX to Sydney, Australia,
- 19:33I paid less than $200.
- 19:34- Ugh.
- 19:35- That's insane.
- 19:37- Yeah.
- 19:37- So so - I'm under that one.
- 19:38- The only thing I get for free is an abortion.
- 19:41(laughing)
- 19:43- For context, she works for a fine period.
- 19:47- And condoms.
- 19:49- I should get a lot of condoms.
- 19:50- I mean, that's good to have.
- 19:52- I have a lot of condoms.
- 19:53- If anybody, if you need to,
- 19:55if you guys, condoms like,
- 19:56- Yeah.
- 19:57- Make sure that condoms.
- 19:58- Condoms on deck.
- 19:59- Why don't we want an entropy?
- 20:00- Like, you get a trip.
- 20:01- Yeah.
- 20:01- Okay.
- 20:02- What you gonna do now?
- 20:03- I really don't get for your abortion.
- 20:06- Yeah.
- 20:07- Especially, I could only do that for another month or so.
- 20:09- Or does she?
- 20:10- Conservatives.
- 20:11- Pop off.
- 20:11- Ben Shapiro.
- 20:12- Ben Shapiro.
- 20:13- I know you're listening.
- 20:14- Huh.
- 20:15- Pop off in the comments.
- 20:16- Hmm.
- 20:17- I love it.
- 20:18- Well, hopefully Ben Shapiro also enjoys.
- 20:20- I also enjoy it.
- 20:21- And I'll surely invite you.
- 20:22(dramatic music)
- 20:25- My trip did go very smoothly.
- 20:29It was, again, the best vacation I've ever been on
- 20:32and I still dream about it every night.
- 20:35(laughing)
- 20:36- I'm still there in my mind.
- 20:37- And I'm reminiscing on all the pictures I took
- 20:39just finishing up.
- 20:40- Still there.
- 20:41- Yeah.
- 20:41- Getting my tan on,
- 20:42but I'll just burn in the Sarah's only heat.
- 20:44- Yeah.
- 20:45- You send us a ton of pictures.
- 20:46- I'm not even kidding.
- 20:47I want you to be one of those obnoxious people.
- 20:49He's like, "Here's a PowerPoint presentation."
- 20:51- I can.
- 20:52I posted them all on Facebook,
- 20:53but I could just send them to do.
- 20:54- I'm sure you have like an album,
- 20:55old school album on Facebook.
- 20:56- I do, I think it's just called Cruz.
- 20:58- Oh my god, okay, I'm gonna go search that later.
- 21:00- I'm like, "I'm gonna go search the cover at you."
- 21:02- Oh my gosh, she's a good girl.
- 21:03- I know.
- 21:04- That's a beautiful face.
- 21:05- My family, you know, you gotta post for the family.
- 21:06- I do like she's like, "I'm not spending it all to them."
- 21:09- Wow.
- 21:10- I'm learning so much.
- 21:11- But anyways, I think this is a good way
- 21:14to segue into vacation movies.
- 21:17- Yeah.
- 21:18- 'Cause so many things can go right.
- 21:19So many things can go wrong on vacation.
- 21:20So I just want to talk about your favorite vacation movies,
- 21:25whether they're funny or
- 21:28literally anything and why they're your favorite
- 21:32or why you're picking these as vacation movies.
- 21:35- The only reason I went,
- 21:36"Ooh, it's 'cause you reminded me,
- 21:38I have watched a horror vacation movie."
- 21:41- Pretty recently.
- 21:42- I'm gonna do the name.
- 21:44- It's an Airbnb horror movie.
- 21:47- Hmm.
- 21:48(laughs)
- 21:50- One of my favorite horror vacation movies
- 21:53is Cabin in the Woods.
- 21:54- Oh, I really love the movie. - Because it's so like,
- 21:59it's just amazing.
- 22:01- That is one of my actual favorite movies
- 22:03and say what you want about Joss.
- 22:05We've spoken about obviously separating the art from the artist.
- 22:09- But we all know that you and I are Joss.
- 22:11We need to fancy his work in the past.
- 22:15I fucking love Cabin in the Woods.
- 22:17- So good.
- 22:18- I have watched that movie in a Cabin in the Woods.
- 22:21(laughs)
- 22:22- It's so good. - It's so good.
- 22:23- It's so appropriate.
- 22:24The movie "Iris" referencing is called The Rintle.
- 22:28It is from 2020 and it stars Allison Grey,
- 22:31Dave Franco, who is her husband, is the director.
- 22:35And it's about two couples who go on like,
- 22:39in ocean side, get away together.
- 22:42But then, I guess spoiler for this movie's drama.
- 22:47- It's kinda like white lotus where the tensions get high.
- 22:50- Yeah, I want to spoil it.
- 22:52- There you go.
- 22:52- The relationship boundaries are crossed.
- 22:55There's tension that builds.
- 22:57But then it gets to the point where they probably shouldn't
- 23:01be staying in this house and then a horror movie thing.
- 23:04- Okay.
- 23:04- It's a great movie, the rental.
- 23:05- Okay, I'll have to check that out.
- 23:07- Yeah.
- 23:08- Yeah.
- 23:09- So my ultimate vacation movie is Euro Trip.
- 23:14- I need to know the whole.
- 23:18Have you ever seen Euro Trip?
- 23:20- No, I have not.
- 23:21- You don't know Scotty didn't know.
- 23:23- Scotty doesn't know that I really want to hand me
- 23:25to it in every Sunday.
- 23:28- Or her life.
- 23:29- So she doesn't know.
- 23:30- She doesn't know.
- 23:31- She'll see she's on her knees and Scotty doesn't know.
- 23:35- Yeah, okay.
- 23:36- Sorry, I'm not letting y'all shine.
- 23:37- Okay.
- 23:38- So Euro Trip is a...
- 23:41- Michelle Trackenberg.
- 23:42- Yes.
- 23:43- God, she looks so good on this movie.
- 23:45- Okay.
- 23:46- So Euro Trip is a spin off from Road Trip.
- 23:49We've ever seen Road Trip.
- 23:51- That's like Tom Green.
- 23:53- Yeah, Tom Green.
- 23:54- Where he has the dead moves.
- 23:56- Yeah.
- 23:57- Yeah, so it's a spin off of that.
- 23:59So it's like, yeah.
- 24:01It's interesting.
- 24:02- It goes to the point where he's like,
- 24:03"I can't wait for my perfect face right now."
- 24:04I'm just saying, "Moliniels are disgusting."
- 24:06- No, I'm just, I'm intrigued.
- 24:08- Yeah, yeah.
- 24:08I'm taking her in.
- 24:10Okay.
- 24:11I'm selling Euro Trip.
- 24:13- So this movie has the iconic Scotty doesn't know.
- 24:18- Everything.
- 24:19- Yeah.
- 24:19- So it has the iconic Scotty doesn't know
- 24:24who is actually played.
- 24:26The lead singer is Matt Damon.
- 24:29And he has actually...
- 24:30- He doesn't have to do the singing.
- 24:31- He had his head, well, yeah.
- 24:33But in the part in the movie,
- 24:35it's like, he shapes his head.
- 24:37He's like fake tattoos.
- 24:38He's a lead singer.
- 24:40- He's so...
- 24:40- And he sings in the song
- 24:42about how he's sleeping with Fiona,
- 24:44but Scotty doesn't know.
- 24:45And the main character's name is Scotty.
- 24:47- They're both in the audience.
- 24:48- He's a recover and he's singing a song like,
- 24:50"I'm sleeping with your girlfriend."
- 24:52And both of them are right there.
- 24:53And so she's like, "Sorry you had to find out this way, babe."
- 24:57- Yeah.
- 24:58- And he's just like, "Well, this is my life."
- 25:01- So it's free.
- 25:02He has this penpal who he thinks that's a man,
- 25:05but then ran away, it's pictures.
- 25:07And it's this hot blonde German girl.
- 25:10So all of his friends, to cheer him up,
- 25:12decided to go on this Euro Trip,
- 25:16which I will say this was one of those movies
- 25:18that I had on DVD that you would just play frequently
- 25:21in your childhood.
- 25:23And I just moved, so we still have people.
- 25:25So this was really going in there.
- 25:27And I decided to rewant it.
- 25:30I realized that it taught me safe words.
- 25:33It taught me what absent was.
- 25:35- Oh my God.
- 25:36- Ex-ticy.
- 25:37Cheating.
- 25:39- Incess.
- 25:40- Yeah, incess.
- 25:41Yeah, there is a...
- 25:42- There's one incess.
- 25:43- They take absent.
- 25:44And they, the twins like kiss each other,
- 25:48which is, you know, just real Cersei and Jamie dynamic there.
- 25:52- A lot of good stuff in it, a lot of good stuff.
- 25:54- A lot of good stuff.
- 25:55- Great, great talk.
- 25:56- Just a child.
- 25:57- You transition too fast from the incest to...
- 26:00- Look at stuff.
- 26:01- A lot of good stuff.
- 26:02(laughing)
- 26:03- Yeah, no, no, it's, no, no.
- 26:05- No, zero, no.
- 26:06- But I was like, how did they get Matt Damon
- 26:10to do this movie during, it was the same year
- 26:13as Brother's Grim?
- 26:14And he just happened to be in the Czech Republic
- 26:17when they were filming it.
- 26:18And he went to school with the writers of the movie.
- 26:23- Matt Damon went through a couple of years there
- 26:26where he did some odd choices for his career.
- 26:29He had that movie when he was playing.
- 26:30- He was post-askers.
- 26:31- He played a conjoined twin.
- 26:34- A tattoo.
- 26:35- Oh my God.
- 26:36- Oh my God, I forgot about that.
- 26:38No, I don't think that's what it's called.
- 26:40- Oh, stuck on you.
- 26:41- Oh, no, a tattoo.
- 26:42- A stuck on you, isn't it?
- 26:43- Close enough.
- 26:44- Basically what they're saying.
- 26:45- It's a 2003.
- 26:47- It was 2004's Euro trip.
- 26:50- Oh.
- 26:51- Wow.
- 26:52- It's Greg Kinnier.
- 26:54- Wow.
- 26:55- Wow.
- 26:56- That's so funny.
- 26:58- Handsom blonde, I don't know, dumb.
- 27:01And they're like, they make the best of their handicap
- 27:06by being the fastest girl cooks in town.
- 27:09- Oh my God, I'm sorry, that was the actual work for work.
- 27:14- Okay, I love that.
- 27:17So, Matt Damon was spiraling a little bit.
- 27:21It did give us the iconic performance of punk Matt Damon.
- 27:26- I thought he doesn't know on like a bird's.
- 27:29- I had it on my face, profile.
- 27:32- Yes.
- 27:32- Yes.
- 27:33- That song's slept.
- 27:35- Okay, Nicole, on the way home.
- 27:37Listen to, I wanna say the band is called Lestra.
- 27:40- Lestra.
- 27:41- Yeah.
- 27:42- Lestra, and the song is called Scotty Doesn't Know.
- 27:45- Okay.
- 27:46- And it's just, he's sleeping with his girlfriend
- 27:48and Scotty doesn't know.
- 27:49- Yeah.
- 27:50- They have a lot of really, really fun thing.
- 27:53- Well, in that movie.
- 27:54- It's worth a watch if you've never seen it.
- 27:56- It's just a vein of like American pie.
- 27:59- Yes.
- 27:59- That was 2000 sex.
- 28:02- I guess I don't know if it's been off from road trips.
- 28:04So, that tells me all the parts.
- 28:06- Yeah.
- 28:07- Yeah, but if it's on like any platforms.
- 28:10- Um.
- 28:11- I could look it up later.
- 28:13- I know, I don't know where it is right now,
- 28:15but you should find it.
- 28:17- Hopefully not Netflix, 'cause that's the one I don't have.
- 28:19- I dropped Netflix.
- 28:21- No, 'cause I was on my sister's account
- 28:22and then it's like, you're not in this household.
- 28:24- Oh my God.
- 28:25- Okay, screw you.
- 28:27- I hated that.
- 28:28- I'm not buying it.
- 28:29- I will.
- 28:30- Netflix can not.
- 28:31- Yeah, that's on the year-boy Friday.
- 28:32- The show.
- 28:33- The show's boy.
- 28:34- But I'm still not in that household.
- 28:36- He's in Colorado.
- 28:37- Yeah.
- 28:38- I'm not.
- 28:39- It's too dark or too far away.
- 28:40(laughing)
- 28:42- You shall pay for your show.
- 28:44- You shall pay for your show.
- 28:46- Nana, Nana declares it.
- 28:49(laughing)
- 28:50- Shall I say Nana?
- 28:51Okay, I'm gonna talk about one of my favorite vacation babies.
- 28:56Sister of the, if the traveling,
- 28:58(laughing)
- 28:59Blake like his hair should just be its own character.
- 29:03- Absolutely.
- 29:04- In the movie.
- 29:05- Okay, if anybody is,
- 29:08doesn't know it's sister of the traveling band says,
- 29:10I feel bad for you.
- 29:11- Yeah.
- 29:12- Do you know?
- 29:12- Okay.
- 29:13- Oh, say, God.
- 29:14(laughing)
- 29:15- I couldn't take two in a row.
- 29:16I couldn't take two in a row.
- 29:18- I was like, I'm aging.
- 29:19- It's turning a year older on Friday.
- 29:22- It's turning a year older on Friday.
- 29:24- It's turning a year older on Friday.
- 29:25- What a sock on the door.
- 29:26- Okay, so this movie is based on a novel from 2001
- 29:31by the same name.
- 29:33It stars America Ferrara,
- 29:34who is ultimate famous now.
- 29:36- Queen.
- 29:37- Bertambolin, Blake Lively,
- 29:40and Alexis Bladell.
- 29:42So it's four best friends who have been besties
- 29:45since childhood.
- 29:46And they magically find appeared blusions
- 29:49that fit all four of them.
- 29:51And they are all vastly different.
- 29:53Shape sizes, weight, magic pants.
- 29:56- And it's a pair of magic pants.
- 29:58(laughing)
- 29:59- So they all are in,
- 30:02it's summer vacation.
- 30:03They're all traveling different places.
- 30:05It's coming of age.
- 30:06They're all, I don't remember junior senior year school
- 30:09something.
- 30:10Alexis Bladell's character travels to Greece,
- 30:14which is probably the most gorgeous part of this film.
- 30:19And meets that guy,
- 30:21coasts us.
- 30:22I remember his thinking,
- 30:24this is the hottest man I've ever seen in my entire life.
- 30:27She meets this handsome,
- 30:28break man, his, her family.
- 30:30She's going family lineage.
- 30:32- Okay.
- 30:33- And this movie makes you want to travel to Greece.
- 30:36She's in those perfect white buildings
- 30:39at the blue trim,
- 30:41overlooking the water.
- 30:44Hostess is working on like a little bow with his shirt off.
- 30:49And she's a fisherman.
- 30:52And that's just the perfect vacation movie to me.
- 30:55And Blake Lively's character goes to a soccer camp.
- 30:59Her name is Bridget.
- 31:01So she meets this guy,
- 31:04Eric, that she ends up losing her chin.
- 31:07- It's just the perfect coming of age movie,
- 31:11I think, for young women.
- 31:13It's all four of these girls
- 31:16and how their relationships intersect with each other
- 31:18and how they maintain their friendship with each other,
- 31:21even though all four of them are in different places.
- 31:25Amber Tamblin's character is stuck in her hometown
- 31:30working at like a grocery store.
- 31:31- She's a poor, she's the poor.
- 31:35And then America Ferrarica.
- 31:37Ferrarica's character, her dad's getting married
- 31:39to this woman who doesn't really accept America Ferrarica
- 31:42for her size and her culture.
- 31:45But all four of them maintain that friendships
- 31:48and how across the world really.
- 31:51So I just, I loved that movie so much.
- 31:53In the teenager.
- 31:54- Yeah.
- 31:55- DVD or VHS something that watched all.
- 32:00- Yeah, I remember playing Songra and being like,
- 32:02I'm like, like, which, right?
- 32:05If I could look like what?
- 32:06Oh my gosh.
- 32:07- She's so poor.
- 32:08- I remember watching it be like,
- 32:09"I'm Amber Tamblin, I'm the weirdo.
- 32:12I don't fit in."
- 32:14And I don't wear.
- 32:15- I'm a weirdo.
- 32:16- I'm a weirdo.
- 32:17- I'm weirdo.
- 32:18- I'm a weirdo.
- 32:18- He's not a tie with my husband at each other.
- 32:22- I think you're weird.
- 32:23- You think I'm weirdo?
- 32:24- I think you're weirdo.
- 32:25- You think I don't fit in?
- 32:26- Yeah.
- 32:27- I don't want to sit in.
- 32:28- Okay.
- 32:29- Yeah, with your fuzzy little gym shirt.
- 32:32- Dude, this is a great fuzzy little gym shirt.
- 32:35This reminds me of getting him to the Greek.
- 32:37- Well, I guess that's kind of--
- 32:38- You wanna get him to the--
- 32:39- Yeah, but--
- 32:40- Struck the fuzzy wall.
- 32:42- Yeah.
- 32:42- That could be considered a vacation, baby.
- 32:45- That's true.
- 32:45- That's a vacation.
- 32:46- A vacation with Ditty near you.
- 32:48- I don't know how a Ditty is in that movie, isn't it?
- 32:51- Yeah.
- 32:52- But I think that's what--
- 32:53- I think that movie.
- 32:54- So is Russell Brand.
- 32:55- Yeah.
- 32:56- Oh my goodness.
- 32:57- He's kind of--
- 32:57- Oh my goodness.
- 32:58- Dying Mary's also--
- 33:00- I think that's like a parody of him,
- 33:02but I think it's actually pretty close to him.
- 33:05- I'm gonna really look at it.
- 33:06- Like his character in the movie.
- 33:08- Pidity?
- 33:08- Yeah.
- 33:09- And that trio that I just named
- 33:10is Nightmare Blood Rotation.
- 33:13- Yeah.
- 33:14- So that L.P. Diddy and Russell Brand.
- 33:15- Yeah.
- 33:16- John and I, at least, would just like therapy speak
- 33:19and it be like you.
- 33:20- You just like Olivia?
- 33:22- You're crossing my band dream right now.
- 33:23- I honestly think that you should never
- 33:25work that crop top today because I can see Pidity
- 33:28looking at you and it's worth all for one thing.
- 33:29- Yeah.
- 33:30- And then you have to be harassing you.
- 33:31- Yeah.
- 33:32- Exactly.
- 33:33- The greener of the mind isn't gonna
- 33:35hog the blood right now.
- 33:36(laughing)
- 33:39- Yeah, John and I have the lower tier there.
- 33:42He's just kind of an asshole.
- 33:43- Yeah.
- 33:44- We do not put him on the same level as
- 33:47a alleged human trafficker.
- 33:49- We know L.P. is a serial rapist.
- 33:53- So we're gonna put John and I have just a few rungs down
- 33:56with you for clear--
- 33:57- I'm gonna hang out with him.
- 33:59- Clear to know what that's for clarity sake.
- 34:00- Yeah.
- 34:01- Yeah.
- 34:02- That would be another great episode topic
- 34:05not gonna blood rotation.
- 34:07- Oh, let's do it.
- 34:08- Okay.
- 34:09- Like, make a call.
- 34:10Make a motion movie.
- 34:11- Okay, what's your favorite vacation movie?
- 34:14- My favorite vacation movie is probably just go with it.
- 34:18- I've never seen that teach me.
- 34:20- Wait, that's Adam Sandler, right?
- 34:21- It is.
- 34:22- Okay.
- 34:23- I can't believe I've seen a movie.
- 34:24- Maybe I've never seen it.
- 34:25- I've never seen it.
- 34:26- It is and then it might come to me.
- 34:27- Oh my goodness.
- 34:28- It's with Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston and Brooklyn Decker.
- 34:31- Okay.
- 34:32- And Adam Sandler is a doctor and Jennifer Aniston
- 34:36is his assistant.
- 34:38And the movie begins with Adam Sandler having a really big nose
- 34:43and he was about, okay.
- 34:46- Uh.
- 34:47- It has more to the story.
- 34:49- He has a really big nose and he's about to get married.
- 34:53- I'm hooked.
- 34:53- I'm hooked.
- 34:54- Okay.
- 34:55- He's about to get married but he's still in--
- 34:56- He's still in medical school.
- 35:00So his wife is getting married to him because he's only going to become a doctor and she's
- 35:04like, okay, I'm marrying him and she's in the bride's room with all her brides.
- 35:09- Okay.
- 35:10- And he goes over and he overhears her before it's the day of the wedding and he overhears
- 35:15her saying, oh, I can't wait to marry him.
- 35:18Boba Bob marrying him for his money.
- 35:19- Oh, he's a doctor.
- 35:20He's so rich.
- 35:21- Yes.
- 35:22- I'll end up getting over the thing in the middle of his face and he overhears that and
- 35:28he--
- 35:29- Listen, man.
- 35:30I love my disting.
- 35:32- Yeah.
- 35:33- Are you just kidding me?
- 35:34- Adrian Graudi.
- 35:35- Yeah, he can get it.
- 35:37- Listen.
- 35:38I love disting.
- 35:39- So he doesn't know his voice.
- 35:41- Yes.
- 35:42- I keep going.
- 35:43- So then he plays this thing.
- 35:44He has his wedding rings and then he'll go to bar like one night, the day of the night
- 35:48of his wedding.
- 35:49He went out to a bar and a lady sitting next to him saw the ring on his finger and she
- 35:53asked him how long he's been married and he made a big story and he was like, my wife left
- 35:57me, blah, blah, blah.
- 35:58Now I'm here.
- 35:59I have to take care of our 10 kids by myself and blah.
- 36:04And the lady felt so bad for him that she went to bed with him.
- 36:06- They know.
- 36:07- She's so sad.
- 36:08- Yeah.
- 36:09And he's like, okay, this is going to work.
- 36:10This trick works.
- 36:11So he kept his wing--
- 36:12- Oh, yep.
- 36:13I have seen this.
- 36:14- And then he became a plastic surgeon.
- 36:15He fixed his nose, you know, who just looks like regularly at the counter.
- 36:20And so then he meets Brooklyn Decker and the story comes to, she kind of finds out that
- 36:27the story's fake.
- 36:28- I've seen this show.
- 36:29- Yeah.
- 36:30- It's coming to her room from the--
- 36:31- I'm really, really, really conscious of her abs and her breasts.
- 36:34- Yeah.
- 36:35- It's going to be her.
- 36:36- So, yeah.
- 36:37- And they may be so really bad about her.
- 36:39- Yeah.
- 36:40- And then she kind of figures out that the story's fake and then he's like, no, it's not
- 36:44fake.
- 36:45And she's like, okay, I want to meet your wife.
- 36:47And then Jennifer Ann is saying, it becomes this fake wife.
- 36:50- Oh, okay.
- 36:51- This is a vacation.
- 36:52- And then the vacation ends up being at a nice resort in Hawaii times.
- 36:56- Yes.
- 36:57- Okay.
- 36:58- I can't remember this.
- 36:59- And then it ends up, that movie ends with Adam Sandler, Jennifer Ann is actually getting
- 37:04married.
- 37:05- Yeah.
- 37:06- Well, I recesses of my brain.
- 37:10- Yeah, literally.
- 37:11- That's how to tell me what happens in it.
- 37:13- I'm glad I could do that for you.
- 37:15- For you.
- 37:16- And for the different deckeries, his girlfriend.
- 37:17- Yeah, I was like, really?
- 37:18- I really?
- 37:19- And I just kept stuck on big nose.
- 37:21- I remember Adam's.
- 37:23- Her abs in that movie are just as strong.
- 37:25- Yeah.
- 37:26- Her is Andrew and Jennifer Anniston.
- 37:27- One, two.
- 37:28- But I only love, love, love that movie.
- 37:31- Is it really?
- 37:32- Obviously, because the, Jennifer Anniston and Ann are both in it.
- 37:36- Yeah.
- 37:37- So, Ann is a vacation movie.
- 37:38- Where is it said?
- 37:39- Well, right on top of your head.
- 37:41- It's Hawaii.
- 37:42- And it was Hawaii.
- 37:43- I don't know.
- 37:44If I looked it up, I'd be able to tell you exactly where you're.
- 37:47- That's right.
- 37:48- It's so much fun, myself.
- 37:49- It's so much dream-made.
- 37:50- It might be.
- 37:51- Hawaii is so much.
- 37:52- It's close enough.
- 37:53- It's just scripted enough.
- 37:54- Yeah.
- 37:55A nice reason why, and I looked it up long time ago, because I was like, I would love to
- 37:59stow.
- 38:00So, my brother-in-law, I'm lushing and sturdy.
- 38:04Like, what?
- 38:05- He's a sucker for like bad Adam Sandler movies.
- 38:11- There's a bad Adam Sandler movie.
- 38:14- But you know, you look at Adam Sandler's Rotment Tomato Scores and they're all...
- 38:19- We're putting stuff out for a few years, and not all of it was good.
- 38:26- He was cranking out movies for the sake of the mighty dollar.
- 38:30- Yeah.
- 38:31- I would do it too.
- 38:32- Literally, anytime you name an Adam Sandler movie, that guy's like, "I love that movie."
- 38:37- Yeah.
- 38:38- Yeah.
- 38:39- movie slath.
- 38:40- You know, I think things.
- 38:41- You always have like that one actor.
- 38:43- Yeah, this is absolutely terrible, but I love it.
- 38:47- And I mean it, Adam Sandler.
- 38:49- Yeah, Jack and Jill, absolutely terrible.
- 38:51- We've talked about the movie and he's like, "I don't know, I feel like you're getting
- 38:55mad at me."
- 38:56- It's terrible.
- 38:57- It's terrible.
- 38:58- Listen.
- 38:59- You know what?
- 39:00- This is gonna be her impression.
- 39:01- I'm gonna hit her.
- 39:02- I'm gonna hit her.
- 39:03- I'm gonna hit her.
- 39:04- He's mad at me.
- 39:05- One of his best movies going off script for your first-second lick.
- 39:08- I love it.
- 39:09- I love click.
- 39:10- Okay, first-second lick.
- 39:11- Oh, how many tangents do we go on in the next one?
- 39:13- First of all, click is so good.
- 39:14- I watched someone else like, "Dive" and I was like, "This is not appropriate for me."
- 39:18- That was quick.
- 39:19- No business being that emotional.
- 39:21- And I had no business watching it at that young when it came out.
- 39:25- Yeah.
- 39:26- My dad's gonna die.
- 39:27- The dog, like, pumping the duck.
- 39:29I was like, "I didn't have any business watching this right now."
- 39:31- You're gonna learn about the birds and the bees today.
- 39:34- He farts in his boss's face.
- 39:38- They look like unpositive.
- 39:42- Why is my bow taste like shit?
- 39:43It's just so stupid.
- 39:45- I love that, maybe.
- 39:47- Hi, Brown humor.
- 39:48- Yeah, there you go.
- 39:49- There you go.
- 39:50I love that so much.
- 39:52- I wanna talk about one of the worst vacation babies of all time.
- 39:55- Oh, it's got a bad one too.
- 39:57- Oh, God.
- 39:58Okay, first let's throw a few shout outs, which is very quickly to iconic vacation babies.
- 40:03- Crossroads.
- 40:04- We have to mention crossroads.
- 40:06Obviously, I did think about that.
- 40:08Crossroads, the hangover, the original national landfoons vacation, great vacation babies.
- 40:17- Right?
- 40:18- For getting ceremonial.
- 40:19Another, it's our brand.
- 40:20- All right.
- 40:21- And why for getting ceremonial though.
- 40:23- Oh.
- 40:24- I'm so brand-wide.
- 40:25- Anyway.
- 40:26- What if the worst vacation?
- 40:29- Sex and the city too.
- 40:31- Oh, so bad.
- 40:33- All right, I am a big sex in the city of politics.
- 40:39- You really are.
- 40:40- You're dying to get in just like that renewed for some fucking reason.
- 40:43- I really am.
- 40:44- It's renewed for season three.
- 40:45- Oh, God, if I keep it going, I'm just gonna...
- 40:48I'm gonna start a hate page.
- 40:50- I honestly...
- 40:52The first season was like, I hate this, but in the back of my mind, there was this voice.
- 40:56It was like, you know you love...
- 40:59- You know you're a critical of absolute trash.
- 41:01- You know you love trash too.
- 41:02- You love the brood and papercladers.
- 41:04- Is that how it's why letters?
- 41:05- Yes.
- 41:06- Speaking of...
- 41:07- Yes.
- 41:08- And just like that was why letters.
- 41:09- Speaking of Stephanie Meyer.
- 41:11- It's just said to have promised two more Twilight books.
- 41:16- Oh my God.
- 41:17- How I don't know.
- 41:18- After midnight sun from a frickin' Edward's point of view, I can't.
- 41:24- I've read any of them.
- 41:25- No, the one from Edward's point of view makes it even weirder.
- 41:29- It's so... - Yeah.
- 41:32- Like, it's so purest.
- 41:35- I've never touched a woman like this before.
- 41:38- Has he ever had sex?
- 41:39- I don't, I think he's a virgin in it.
- 41:41- He's like an eight-toned virgin.
- 41:43- I know, but he's a chastelid-mengues.
- 41:45- What a nerd.
- 41:46- Yeah.
- 41:47- I don't know.
- 41:48- And like, she really sat with that one.
- 41:50And was like, you know what?
- 41:51We're gonna make him a virgin.
- 41:52- He's eight-toned years old.
- 41:54- No, he's two-hundred.
- 41:55- I don't fucking know.
- 41:56- Same thing at that point.
- 41:58Literally two-hundred years without sex, eight-toned.
- 42:01- Yeah.
- 42:02- Because he was counting after a good 45 days.
- 42:05It's all the same.
- 42:06Anyway, six and six.
- 42:08- So, toilet has a great vacation in the end of it.
- 42:12- When they go in their honeymoon.
- 42:13- And then break the bike.
- 42:14- And then break the bike.
- 42:15- Yeah.
- 42:16- Also, you know it's funny.
- 42:17- Okay.
- 42:18- I'm gonna go on a little tangent here for a second.
- 42:22- You're a lazy year for a shinnity.
- 42:24You're not going like that.
- 42:26I'm sorry, you're not breaking the headboard like.
- 42:29- Have you slept with a vampire?
- 42:32- No, but I've been 18.
- 42:36- I've lost my virgin.
- 42:38- Okay.
- 42:39- And you're not losing it to a vampire.
- 42:41- You don't think her cherry pops.
- 42:43You don't think she's like, "Aww, oh, toilet stop."
- 42:47- Yeah.
- 42:48- I mean, I think that happened.
- 42:51I just don't know if they're really doing that in the end of the Twilight.
- 42:55- I don't know, in the movie they were just like,
- 42:57"That was the greatest sex in the world."
- 42:58- And that we've ever had.
- 42:59- Yeah.
- 43:00- It's the first, it's the only.
- 43:02It's the only.
- 43:03- You don't break the headboard when you lose your virginity is.
- 43:06But I'm just saying to our dear listeners who all were like,
- 43:08"Yeah, we know.
- 43:09Sean, we're not."
- 43:10- Yeah.
- 43:11- Maybe it was symbolism for the, you know.
- 43:14- I think that this was Stephanie Meyer saying,
- 43:16"If you save your marriage, it will be so below."
- 43:21- It will be so.
- 43:22- You can ask John the God.
- 43:23- It'll be so great to tear the house down.
- 43:26- To the boots house down.
- 43:28- To tear the boots house down.
- 43:30Anyway, sex in the city too.
- 43:33Is it 2010?
- 43:35- American romantically.
- 43:36- Oh, they're in Dubai, right?
- 43:38- Oh God.
- 43:39Okay, so Samantha has to go for some PR campaign
- 43:44to an Arab Sheik's booth.
- 43:46- Yes.
- 43:47- In Abu Dhabi.
- 43:48- Okay.
- 43:49- And so the girls come along
- 43:52and they're on this Abu Dhabi vacation.
- 43:55That's just totally fat.
- 43:58- Listen, they're writing these white women writing camels.
- 44:02And God, the cultural, like, just disrespect
- 44:07that comes on this movie, honestly.
- 44:10- And it's just bad.
- 44:11- In, at some point, Carrie runs into Aiden.
- 44:15- Just, what a queen eating.
- 44:18- Leave Aiden alone.
- 44:20- Let him be.
- 44:22- She won't eat me because she can't eat me.
- 44:24- I don't believe in that timeline.
- 44:26- She said.
- 44:27- I don't believe in just that, like, this amount.
- 44:29- I feel like sex in the city too is a fever dream.
- 44:31She runs into Aiden in the streets of Abu Dhabi.
- 44:34- Like, what?
- 44:35- And it's time to go to dinner together that night.
- 44:37She's married to Big at this point,
- 44:40but she's mad at him because--
- 44:44- He's not dead yet.
- 44:45- Because he hasn't passed away.
- 44:47- Isn't that why we're all having our husbands?
- 44:49- That's just a lie already.
- 44:51- This is the married one.
- 44:54- She's mad at Big because he put a television
- 44:58in their bedroom.
- 44:59I swear to God.
- 45:00- Not a peloton.
- 45:01- This is--
- 45:02- That's not for another 10 years, honey.
- 45:04- This is--
- 45:05- He puts a television in their bedroom.
- 45:07And she thinks it's gonna kill the romance.
- 45:10So she's like, "History."
- 45:11- Because I guess they're not banging enough.
- 45:13And so they go to Abu Dhabi in this girl's trip.
- 45:16And she runs into Aiden.
- 45:19- Kisses him.
- 45:20- Like, she's married, comes back.
- 45:22- Oh.
- 45:23- And the central, like, frux of the movie
- 45:25why they're all anxious to get back to America
- 45:27is because they think they're gonna miss their flight
- 45:29and have to flight hope.
- 45:31- The white ripples.
- 45:38- It's the most out of the much movie I've ever seen in my life.
- 45:41They're going, and at some point they're all standing
- 45:44in the middle of, like, a market square in Samantha.
- 45:47Pull something out of her purse and condoms fly everywhere.
- 45:50And all of these women who are in hijab
- 45:52are just kind of, like, watching them, like,
- 45:55who are these fucking four-white trashy-ass broad-screening,
- 45:59which is what most people think about Americans,
- 46:01but that'll abroad.
- 46:02Why are these white people screaming?
- 46:04In her condoms fly everywhere.
- 46:06And she goes, "Yes, I like to have sex."
- 46:10- Like, that's not the form of feminism
- 46:13that this girl thinks that it is.
- 46:15- That is not.
- 46:16- That is a white feminism.
- 46:18- That is a fine end.
- 46:19- When does that movie come?
- 46:20- 2010.
- 46:21- Oh, yeah.
- 46:22- She gets home and confesses to Big that she kissed Aiden.
- 46:26And his reaction is, "Will we should buy you a bigger diamond
- 46:30for your wedding rings to see her look down at it,
- 46:33for they could marry often?"
- 46:35- Amen.
- 46:37- So you cheat on your husband, ladies, and Abu Dhabi.
- 46:40- Get a bigger--
- 46:41- Get that rock, girl.
- 46:43- Get a bigger diamond, baby.
- 46:45- Get a bigger diamond.
- 46:46- It's one of the worst ways we've seen.
- 46:48- That's the ultimate lesson that we should all take.
- 46:50- Sheed on your husband, get a big diamond.
- 46:52- Yeah.
- 46:53- She's been called for a million sensitive, more diamond.
- 46:57You know?
- 46:58- Step one.
- 46:59- She's--
- 47:00- Step two, cultural appropriation.
- 47:02- Step three?
- 47:03- Diamonds.
- 47:04- Yeah.
- 47:05- That's it.
- 47:06- We don't make the rules.
- 47:07- We don't make the rules, baby.
- 47:08Sex in the city does.
- 47:09- Sarah Jessica Farker does, apparently.
- 47:12- He said you had a bad--
- 47:13- Oh, okay.
- 47:14My bad vacation movie, and I watched this when I was on vacation,
- 47:19and recently, actually, is Spring Breakers.
- 47:24- I love Spring Breakers.
- 47:26- So we got Selena Gomez.
- 47:27We have James Franco.
- 47:30What Ashley Benson?
- 47:33- Ashley Benson, and Vanessa Hudgin.
- 47:36All in one, this was supposed to be Selena's four-year
- 47:42into being a bad girl.
- 47:45- This is trying to get out of C. Walla.
- 47:47- She was trying to get out of the Disney Girl mode.
- 47:51- She's a bad girl.
- 47:52She does bad things.
- 47:53- Yeah, exactly.
- 47:54It's her JoJo C. Walla moment.
- 47:56And so she does this movie with all of them.
- 47:59And James Franco, if you don't know this,
- 48:01I'm sorry to ruin him for you, but he's a bad guy.
- 48:04- Yeah, he's a bad guy.
- 48:05- He's a pretty bad guy.
- 48:07- He's pretty bad.
- 48:08- So it was like a terrible set, but it is so unintentionally funny.
- 48:14So it's actually based off this guy called RiffRaff.
- 48:17- Okay.
- 48:18- And one time RiffRaff.
- 48:19- One time I was at the view at ASU.
- 48:23So if you went to ASU, you know this,
- 48:25or Arizona State University, there is these apartments
- 48:28that were called the view.
- 48:29- And it was literally like a tapeing.
- 48:31- Oh, I think it's a lot of tapeing.
- 48:32- No, yeah.
- 48:33(laughing)
- 48:34It was like, it was an apartment conversation.
- 48:36And it was literally like a part of the complex.
- 48:38- It was like a part of the complex.
- 48:39- It was like a part of the complex.
- 48:40- It's pretty cool.
- 48:41- I thought James Franco was like the guests
- 48:42of the day or something.
- 48:43- The view is this apartment where I'm pretty sure people
- 48:45will spell off the bottle.
- 48:46- Okay, they did.
- 48:47- They did, but you're missing the point of the story.
- 48:50So people did die.
- 48:52It's not the part of the story.
- 48:53- Something they were just imputes.
- 48:55- They were just imputes.
- 48:56- They were just imputes.
- 48:57- Okay, but so it's this apartment complex.
- 49:00And it was, there were literally a bouncer's there.
- 49:03Like it was a club.
- 49:04- You got a little bit at the building.
- 49:05- Every frat had like floors there.
- 49:08And so it was this huge fricking party.
- 49:10- Yeah. - And so I was mingling about the floors
- 49:14as one did in college.
- 49:16- You were just too much to learn from that.
- 49:17- And I look over and riffraff is right for connects to me.
- 49:21- What's your name?
- 49:22- And this is a...
- 49:23- Yeah.
- 49:24- And I just was like drinking and I've been drinking all day.
- 49:27And I just went over and I see riffraff.
- 49:29- I'm out with riffraff.
- 49:30- No, ew.
- 49:31- I see riffraff and I'm like,
- 49:34I need to leave immediately.
- 49:36- I have been here too long spring breakers that already come out.
- 49:41So it's based on the sky.
- 49:43- And there is a part where James Franco...
- 49:48- I just simply remembered.
- 49:50- Yes.
- 49:51- And during I was dating, we were dating.
- 49:53- Yeah.
- 49:54- Where we discovered a riffraff.
- 49:56- Yeah.
- 49:57- And we decided we were going to like him ironically.
- 49:59- And then you got here.
- 50:01- And then you got here.
- 50:02- And then we would start listening to his music.
- 50:04- And then we would just find ourselves singing riffraff music.
- 50:11- Oh, he's like,
- 50:13- And you just get your head in your head.
- 50:16- Okay, but so he's channeling him.
- 50:19- Yes, he is.
- 50:20- And in this moment,
- 50:21- And in like, he basically is like a gang person in it.
- 50:26And he convinces his girls to go on this adventure.
- 50:30- But he's like selling drugs and there's this montage of them
- 50:35like doing a bunch of stuff.
- 50:37And then it just cuts to James Franco being like,
- 50:40- Look at all my shit.
- 50:41- Look at all of our shit.
- 50:43- It's all his money and all these guns.
- 50:45- All of them.
- 50:46- Yeah, over and over and over again.
- 50:48- So he's screaming, look at all my shit.
- 50:50- And then for some reason.
- 50:52- And for some reason.
- 50:53- And at the stage, he's got like,
- 50:55- Dress.
- 50:56- And like corn rolls.
- 50:57- Yeah.
- 50:58- And like, so weird.
- 50:59- White cheesy wrapper kind of like.
- 51:02- And yeah.
- 51:03- And then right after this,
- 51:05looking all my shit, they're holding guns,
- 51:08Vanessa and Ashley Benson.
- 51:09- So we know how much that's going on.
- 51:11- And he has, he has sionsers on these guns.
- 51:15And then they put them both in his mouth.
- 51:18And he,
- 51:19- Yes.
- 51:20- Yes.
- 51:21- Yeah.
- 51:22- And then James Franco dies
- 51:26and they kill everyone in a mass shootout.
- 51:28- And it is such a bad.
- 51:31- I am an apologetically ill of this maybe.
- 51:34- Watch it.
- 51:35- It's very stoned.
- 51:36- It's trashy.
- 51:37And they all have a menager,
- 51:40- It's very stoned.
- 51:41- And they all have a menager,
- 51:43- It's very stoned.
- 51:44- And they are skimmasks and bikinis.
- 51:46- And they're so much to.
- 51:48- MTV Spring Break by.
- 51:50- There's so much 2012 EDM in it.
- 51:52And it's amazing for that reason.
- 51:55- And I was a college.
- 51:56- And I was a college.
- 51:57- I mean, I think it's,
- 51:58- I mean, it's one of the pretend I'm a college,
- 52:00I mean, on Spring Break.
- 52:01- But it is a terrible movie.
- 52:03- But not too bad.
- 52:04- It is not good.
- 52:05- I love it.
- 52:06- But it's not good.
- 52:07- It did not do what Selena wanted it to,
- 52:09but.
- 52:10- Also, she plays like the good Christian girl.
- 52:12- Yeah.
- 52:13- Well, she kind of is.
- 52:14- She's a part of Hillsong cold.
- 52:16- Cool.
- 52:17- That's right.
- 52:18I was freaking out.
- 52:19- But she goes on Spring Break with her friends.
- 52:21And she drinks as she smokes weed and stuff.
- 52:23I think they show her smoking and joy.
- 52:25- And she's like,
- 52:26"I want to go home."
- 52:27- Maybe.
- 52:28- No, they'll start murdering people.
- 52:29- It did too.
- 52:30- She's like,
- 52:31- But they also,
- 52:32- For that reason, I'm out.
- 52:33- So to go on this vacation,
- 52:34they rob a restaurant at gunpoint,
- 52:38but it's like a fake gun,
- 52:39but no one knows that.
- 52:40- Oh, I forgot about that.
- 52:41- Yeah.
- 52:42- Yeah, I just watched it.
- 52:43- That's not how me and my girlfriend
- 52:45supported Spring Break,
- 52:46which is weighted tables.
- 52:48- Yeah, you know, the sensible thing.
- 52:50I love that.
- 52:51- Well, hopefully no one is robbing anyone
- 52:54at gunpoint to go on a vacation.
- 52:57- No, that's not how I went.
- 52:59- Yeah, that's not how I went.
- 53:00- That's good to know.
- 53:01- No, that's good to know.
- 53:02- No, I didn't rob anyone.
- 53:03- No, no, no, no, no, no one can go.
- 53:05- Nana, I'm sorry.
- 53:06- Nana, Nana, Nana.
- 53:07- No, Nana, Nana.
- 53:08- No, Nana, Nana.
- 53:09- No, no, no.
- 53:10- She's probably the little--
- 53:11- I say, "Nana, you say, Nana."
- 53:12- Nana.
- 53:14- Nana.
- 53:15- Take a time to call.
- 53:16- My next movie is,
- 53:17at least I don't think it's a bad movie.
- 53:19It's kind of a vacation movie
- 53:21for the main character.
- 53:23- Okay.
- 53:24- And it's get out.
- 53:26- Oh, shit.
- 53:29- Yeah.
- 53:30- Yeah.
- 53:31- It's not a vacation you want to go on.
- 53:33- No, you just went on it.
- 53:34- Wow, you're really thinking about that
- 53:35because you just went on a vacation with a family.
- 53:37- Yeah, and it's--
- 53:38(laughing)
- 53:40- The complete opposite.
- 53:41- Yeah, that's good to know.
- 53:43Do I need a spin and saucer?
- 53:45Are you just going to fall into the beyond?
- 53:48- I'm not going to fall into it.
- 53:49- What a good movie, dude.
- 53:51- It is a very good movie.
- 53:52- It's a very good movie.
- 53:53- It's a very good movie.
- 53:54- It's a very good movie.
- 53:55- It's a very good movie.
- 53:56- It's a very good movie.
- 53:57- It's a very good movie.
- 53:58- It's a very good movie.
- 53:59- It's a very good movie.
- 54:00- It's a very good movie.
- 54:01- It's a very good movie.
- 54:02- It's a very good movie.
- 54:03- It's a very good movie.
- 54:04- It's a very good movie.
- 54:05- It's a very good movie.
- 54:06- It's a very good movie.
- 54:07- It's a very good movie.
- 54:08- It's a very good movie.
- 54:09- It's a very good movie.
- 54:10- It's a very good movie.
- 54:11- It's a very good movie.
- 54:12- It's a very good movie.
- 54:13- It's a very good movie.
- 54:14- It's a very good movie.
- 54:15- It's a very good movie.
- 54:16- It's a very good movie.
- 54:17- It's a very good movie.
- 54:18- It's a very good movie.
- 54:19- It's a very good movie.
- 54:20- It's a very good movie.
- 54:21- It's a very good movie.
- 54:22- It's a very good movie.
- 54:23- It's a very good movie.
- 54:24- It's a very good movie.
- 54:25- It's a very good movie.
- 54:26- It's a very good movie.
- 54:27- It's a very good movie.
- 54:28- It's a very good movie.
- 54:29- It's a very good movie.
- 54:30- It's a very good movie.
- 54:31- It's a very good movie.
- 54:32- It's a very good movie.
- 54:33- It's a very good movie.
- 54:34- It's a very good movie.
- 54:35- It's a very good movie.
- 54:36- It's a very good movie.
- 54:37- It's a very good movie.
- 54:38- It's a very good movie.
- 54:39- It's a very good movie.
- 54:40- It's a very good movie.
- 54:41- It's a very good movie.
- 54:42- It's a very good movie.
- 54:43- It's a very good movie.
- 54:44- It's a very good movie.
- 54:45- It's a very good movie.
- 54:46- It's a very good movie.

- 55:25- But Keith, Keith, a boy...
- 55:26- There's this one, but...
- 55:27- He's like with this old lady too.
- 55:30He's very like, stepper and wive.
- 55:32- Yeah.
- 55:33- Yeah, and he's like, is the best way in my mind.
- 55:35- Like what's it mean?
- 55:36- Like emotional.
- 55:37- Like, there's nothing behind the eyes.
- 55:39- Yes, it's gonna make character walks up to him right.
- 55:41- Yes, and he says something to him.
- 55:43- And then I think this is...
- 55:45- Someone takes a picture of him.
- 55:46- And he starts having a seizure.
- 55:47- Yeah.
- 55:48- Well, he snaps out of it and says,
- 55:49get out, get out, get out.
- 55:51- Yeah. And then they leave.
- 55:53And then weird, weird stuff starts happening.
- 55:56And then eventually he realizes that
- 55:58this white family is trying to kill him.
- 56:00- Yep.
- 56:01- And...
- 56:02- Well, the alert...
- 56:03- Yeah.
- 56:04- He ends up getting out of the house.
- 56:05- Yes, I'm so glad that he gets out of me.
- 56:07- I was so glad that he gets out of me.
- 56:08- And the whole point of the movie obviously get out.
- 56:10- Yeah.
- 56:11- But the time of the movie.
- 56:12- He survives in the end.
- 56:13I know we're watching that maybe for the first time
- 56:14it being like, thinking,
- 56:16I'm loving this movie, but if he dies in the end,
- 56:18then I'm gonna be pissed.
- 56:19- Yeah.
- 56:20- Because I, like, you want him...
- 56:22- And I get it.
- 56:23- And a horror movie that makes me die.
- 56:24- Mm-hmm.
- 56:25- There's been in this particular movie
- 56:27that is more about race relations
- 56:29and baking being an ally.
- 56:32Like, he needed to survive.
- 56:34- I think I've really got out of this.
- 56:36- I was just being a straight serial killer drinking whole milk.
- 56:40- They're like looking for...
- 56:42- That's true.
- 56:43- Looking for a con-cassity.
- 56:45- The con-cassity.
- 56:46- Oh, god, milk drinkers.
- 56:48- The minute she...
- 56:49- She didn't say much for the nut milk that day.
- 56:52- The minute he...
- 56:53He's like, give me the keys, babe.
- 56:54Give me the keys, babe.
- 56:55She's like, I'm looking.
- 56:56You know I can't give you the keys, right, babe.
- 56:58- Everyone in the theater is gonna...
- 57:00- Oh, my God.
- 57:01- For God.
- 57:02- Yeah, that's really important, baby.
- 57:04- God, I just missed like a whole thing.
- 57:07Reading more into this, I totally forgot about Chris
- 57:11who's the black man character's best friend, the TSA agent.
- 57:15- He's a huge part in this.
- 57:17Yeah, he's like sent him so much info
- 57:19and he finds out about all these things.
- 57:21- Yeah, he's the one helping you.
- 57:23- He's the guy behind the computer probably.
- 57:25- He's the one that helps him get out.
- 57:26- It's like, oh, I know LeCate's stand-failed to character in it.
- 57:30- As you see, their friends with LeCate's game character
- 57:32are like, he is, so he's like, why is he there?
- 57:35- Yeah, well, I think that's a very interesting movie.
- 57:38- Yeah, I...
- 57:39- You have chosen after going on a family vacation.
- 57:41- I didn't even put that together, but...
- 57:43- I am, I am a eye-meeting.
- 57:45- I'm gonna clank the cut.
- 57:47You know, I'll get one right now.
- 57:49I have this entire phone one.
- 57:51- Yeah, I should really like this movie.
- 57:53- Where are you gonna start about?
- 57:54- Does he realize, again, correct me if I'm wrong.
- 57:57I haven't seen it in quite a while, but...
- 57:59Doesn't he realize that she's dated like other black guys?
- 58:03- Yeah, she does.
- 58:04- She let's see if she can do it.
- 58:05- She let's see if she can do it.
- 58:06- Like a woman at some point too,
- 58:07which is like the housekeeper, some black woman.
- 58:09- Yeah. - So honestly, it's just about like the commodity of...
- 58:14- Taking out of the house, taking it over like black people,
- 58:17but then making them quote, unquote more agreeable to white society.
- 58:21- Yeah.
- 58:22- So we're taking out like a black person's brain
- 58:25and putting your own brain in it.
- 58:28- Yeah.
- 58:29- Taking over their body and living, you know.
- 58:31- It's such a good movie.
- 58:32- It's such an important, like good movie.
- 58:34- Take it, take it, take it.
- 58:36- Yeah. - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 58:39- Stinky, stinky.
- 58:40- And that is...
- 58:42- That's what I say.
- 58:44- I don't think we're all, like, cut out for a weird way,
- 58:47that I'm showing you.
- 58:48- Yeah, we're spooky.
- 58:49- I believe it's on Netflix.
- 58:50- I love it.
- 58:51I love it.
- 58:52- I'm watching my husband too.
- 58:53- You're like, are you about to do this?
- 58:55- My husband looked at me and he's like...
- 58:57- Honestly, you know, it gets you thinking.
- 58:59It's like, well, I'm in your basement right now.
- 59:02- Watching my husband.
- 59:03- It's in the middle of the night.
- 59:04- Oh, slow.
- 59:05- I appear in spots to come downstairs right now, slowly backs away.
- 59:08- Slowly backs away.
