Guilty Verdict in Nathan Gemeinhart Case | Huntsville News
A jury in Jefferson County convicted Youit Jones, 39, of capital murder, arson, and abuse of a corpse in the 2022 killing of Nathan Gemeinhart — whose body was found burned, headless and handless, after he vanished the day before a family school event. Jones, apprehended in Oklahoma during an attempted carjacking and subdued by McDonald’s staff, refused mental state defenses despite past health issues and family concerns.
