After erasing a four-run deficit and tying it with Heriberto Hernández’s eighth-inning homer, Miami held on thanks to Cade Gibson’s key 10th-inning strike. The Mariners, led by Cole Young’s solo shot and Cal Raleigh’s double, fought back with a late rally — but couldn’t pull it off.
