- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Woody Show.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Yeah, this is the Woody Show.
- 0:04Speaker 3: Yeah! I'm mega smart.
- 0:07Speaker 2: All right, welcome back, everybody. And we are coming to
- 0:11Speaker 2: you now from the women's restroom. And the reason we
- 0:14Speaker 2: chose the women's restroom is because it's the only one
- 0:16Speaker 2: that has two stalls next to each other. For the
- 0:19Speaker 2: game that we're about to play, it's called Battle-ishes. Battle-ish.
- 0:25Speaker 2: So we have Gina in one stall, Greg in the
- 0:28Speaker 2: other stall, as you can see by the feet. If
- 0:30Speaker 2: you're watching on the video that we're going to have
- 0:32Speaker 2: for you. But the way this works is it's a
- 0:34Speaker 2: trivia game. And so you, Greg, and you, Gina, you
- 0:38Speaker 2: will ring in by flushing your toilet. Sammy here is
- 0:42Speaker 2: the judge of who flushes first. Jeff G is keeping
- 0:46Speaker 2: track of the score and of the time. And so
- 0:49Speaker 2: I'm going to have a question for you. It's just
- 0:51Speaker 2: a simple trivia question. And then you flush in. And
- 0:55Speaker 2: if you get the answer right, you get a point. Now,
- 0:58Speaker 2: it's whoever gets the most points in five minutes. Ask
- 1:01Speaker 2: me why five minutes.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Why five minutes?
- 1:03Speaker 2: Because that is the average amount of time that a
- 1:06Speaker 2: person spends on the throne when they're taking a dump. Okay.
- 1:09Speaker 3: That's pretty quick.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Okay, and I just want to give a quick shout-out
- 1:12Speaker 2: to two things. Number one, here is Seabass's tampons that
- 1:15Speaker 2: he's put here in the bathroom, which we've never seen
- 1:18Speaker 2: in its natural environment. And also, there is a trophy,
- 1:21Speaker 2: the plunger trophy, that Jeff's wife was nice enough to
- 1:24Speaker 2: bedazzle for us. Oh, that's so nice. The winner will
- 1:28Speaker 2: get that. Are you ready to play Battle Issues?
- 1:30Speaker 3: Yes! And now, The Woody Show presents.
- 1:38Speaker 2: You saved my battle. All right.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Jeff, you ready to start the timer?
- 1:46Speaker 5: Yes, sir.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Okay, here we go. Question number one, time starts now.
- 1:51Speaker 2: If you give someone your ETA, what is that short for?
- 1:57Speaker 2: I'd say Gina, Greg. That was me, I believe. I
- 2:00Speaker 2: think Greg got it.
- 2:01Speaker 5: You did?
- 2:02Speaker 2: All right, that was hard. Maybe you need to stand
- 2:03Speaker 2: somewhere else there, Sammy.
- 2:05Speaker 3: All right. Estimated time of arrival.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Estimated time of arrival. That's a point for Greg Gorey.
- 2:10Speaker 3: All right.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Question number two. Who is Simba's father in The Lion King?
- 2:16Speaker 5: Oh.
- 2:18Speaker 3: All right.
- 2:18Speaker 2: That's Gina Grad. Gina Grad.
- 2:21Speaker 3: That would be Mufasa.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Mufasa is the correct answer.
- 2:24Speaker 3: All right.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Here we go. Logan International Airport is in what city?
- 2:31Speaker 3: That would be Boston, I believe.
- 2:34Speaker 2: That's a really weird sounding flush, Greg. Yes, the answer
- 2:38Speaker 2: is Boston. Nice. All right, here we go. Next question.
- 2:42Speaker 2: The row of sturgeon are eaten under what more common name? Greg,
- 2:53Speaker 2: were you first on that one?
- 2:54Speaker 3: Damn, I really thought I was first on that.
- 2:56Speaker 6: Oh, I thought it was Gina, but she has a
- 2:59Speaker 6: better flusher.
- 2:59Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 3:00Speaker 2: All right, well, who was first on that one? Greg
- 3:02Speaker 2: was first on that one?
- 3:03Speaker 3: All right.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Next question. Name any Soviet leader ever.
- 3:10Speaker 7: Gina.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Gina Grad. Lenin. Lenin is an acceptable answer, yes. Next question.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Name either of the two teams that play at MetLife Stadium.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Name either of the two teams that play at MetLife Stadium.
- 3:32Speaker 2: All right, Greg Gorey.
- 3:35Speaker 3: How about the Astros?
- 3:40Speaker 2: Astros, incorrect. Gina Grad, do you have a guess?
- 3:43Speaker 8: Sure.
- 3:44Speaker 6: Let's say the Cardinals.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Ooh, no.
- 3:47Speaker 2: The answer is either the New York Giants or the
- 3:49Speaker 2: New York Jets. Ah.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Damn it.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Complete the phrase, the squeaky wheel gets the.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Gina Graff. Oil.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Slash grease.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Oh, that shouldn't count.
- 4:01Speaker 8: Well, I've always heard that squeaky wheel gets the oil,
- 4:04Speaker 8: but I know some people say grease.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Oil? I've never heard that.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Greg Gorey.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Grease.
- 4:07Speaker 8: Oh, really?
- 4:08Speaker 3: Really?
- 4:09Speaker 2: Really?
- 4:10Speaker 4: Really.
- 4:11Speaker 5: Really.
- 4:11Speaker 3: My hands are getting wet for some reason.
- 4:13Speaker 2: We are playing Battle Issues right now. Greg has the
- 4:16Speaker 2: lead over Gina. I'm going to the producers. What time
- 4:19Speaker 2: are we at here?
- 4:19Speaker 9: Two and a half.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Two and a half.
- 4:22Speaker 3: All right, here we go.
- 4:22Speaker 2: In school, what are the stem fields?
- 4:26Speaker 1: All right.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Science, technology, engineering, mathematics. Greg, congratulations. You got another point.
- 4:36Speaker 2: All right, here we go. Next question. What is Rihanna's
- 4:40Speaker 2: legal first name? What is Rihanna's legal first name? I
- 4:48Speaker 2: thought it was Rihanna. Greg, you making that noise. I know.
- 4:52Speaker 3: I'm about to poop. I'm sitting where Sammy poops. Any guesses?
- 5:00Speaker 3: I'll guess Rihanna.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Rihanna. Gina, any guess?
- 5:06Speaker 3: Jessica.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Incorrect. The name is Robin. All right. What BBC show
- 5:13Speaker 2: is about a time traveler in a phone booth? Sammy,
- 5:19Speaker 2: who got that one? Gina Grad. Doctor Who. Doctor Who.
- 5:22Speaker 2: All right, next question in this round of battle issues.
- 5:26Speaker 2: What is the name of your very front teeth? What
- 5:31Speaker 2: are those called?
- 5:31Speaker 6: They have a name.
- 5:33Speaker 2: They do.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Any guesses?
- 5:38Speaker 2: Gina Grad.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Your bunny teeth.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Bunny teeth.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Bunny teeth is incorrect. Greg Gorey.
- 5:47Speaker 3: I know it's wrong, but I'll say incisors.
- 5:49Speaker 2: That is the correct answer.
- 5:53Speaker 6: All right.
- 5:54Speaker 2: What is the name of the Harry Potter Broadway play? Oh.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Oh.
- 6:00Speaker 2: See, I would think Gina would get this one.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Yeah, but I'm not.
- 6:02Speaker 2: She's the most in tune with Broadway stuff.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Are you guys passing?
- 6:06Speaker 3: I'll guess. Are we guessing?
- 6:08Speaker 2: You can guess.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Sorcerer's Stone?
- 6:10Speaker 2: Incorrect.
- 6:11Speaker 9: 30 seconds.
- 6:11Speaker 8: The Half-Blood Prince.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Incorrect. The Liberty Bell is located in.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Gina Grad. Philadelphia. Philadelphia is the correct answer. What is
- 6:25Speaker 2: an example of a pronoun.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Greg Gorey. He.
- 6:28Speaker 3: He.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Ten seconds. Ten seconds. What is something's topography? Wait, what
- 6:35Speaker 2: is it? What is something?
- 6:36Speaker 3: Okay, I got it.
- 6:38Speaker 2: You can't do that.
- 6:40Speaker 8: Topography is the elevation of things like mountains.
- 6:43Speaker 2: All right, that is time. What did you say, Gina Grand?
- 6:46Speaker 3: The elevation of things like mountains.
- 6:49Speaker 2: The physical feature shape of an area's land or surface. Yeah,
- 6:53Speaker 2: what I said.
- 6:54Speaker 3: All right.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Well, what is the score there, Jeff G.? Let's come
- 6:58Speaker 2: over to Jeff.
- 6:59Speaker 3: The official score is Greg, seven. Gina, five.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Greg, you are the winner of Battle Issues. Greg Gorey,
- 7:06Speaker 2: your first ever winner. Please step out of the stall
- 7:09Speaker 2: and claim your prize. Greg, congratulations.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Oh, it's beautiful. Oh, look at that. I've always dreamt
- 7:15Speaker 3: of this.
- 7:16Speaker 2: He is the very first winner of the plunger trophy.
- 7:19Speaker 2: That is yours until our next round of Battle Issues.
- 7:24Speaker 4: All right.
- 7:25Speaker 2: And Greg Gorey, sorry about all the water waste.
- 7:29Speaker 3: That was upsetting.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Yes.
- 7:31Speaker 4: Yes.
- 7:31Speaker 2: But thank you, everybody.
- 7:32Speaker 1: All right.
- 7:33Speaker 2: We're going to take a quick break. That's how you
- 7:34Speaker 2: play Battle Issues. What do you think, Greg?
- 7:37Speaker 1: A plus, although the water waste thing that you brought
- 7:41Speaker 1: up is quite upsetting.
- 7:43Speaker 2: All right. Let us know what you think on the text.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Is this game a keeper or should we lose it?
- 7:48Speaker 3: All right.
- 7:49Speaker 8: 22987.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Let us know what you think. More Woody Shows next.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Hang on.
- 7:53Speaker 4: The Woody Show.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Some good feedback coming in on our new game. It
- 7:57Speaker 2: is weird that we can't say it on the air,
- 7:59Speaker 2: like it's full, but you know what it is. You
- 8:01Speaker 2: get it. Battle issues.
- 8:02Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 8:04Speaker 2: But I don't know. I think it's funny, man, because
- 8:10Speaker 2: it's a big tile bathroom here.
- 8:15Speaker 4: Obviously, I'd never been in there. I didn't know that there.
- 8:17Speaker 10: Was four stalls.
- 8:18Speaker 6: Yeah, what'd you think of the bathroom?
- 8:19Speaker 4: I thought there'd be two. I mean, it was basically
- 8:22Speaker 4: like the men's room.
- 8:23Speaker 6: Was it as luxurious as you thought?
- 8:25Speaker 4: It was very nice.
- 8:25Speaker 2: There's a great debate going on, and one of the questions,
- 8:31Speaker 2: the squeaky wheel gets thee, and Gina said oil. Yeah.
- 8:36Speaker 2: The answer is grease.
- 8:38Speaker 8: And I said, I've never heard the term squeaky wheel
- 8:44Speaker 8: gets the grease until I was an adult.
- 8:46Speaker 6: So I threw that in at the end.
- 8:47Speaker 2: But I've never even heard anybody ever. I've never once
- 8:49Speaker 2: heard anybody say the squeaky wheel gets the oil.
- 8:52Speaker 6: I've heard oil.
- 8:53Speaker 2: I have.
- 8:54Speaker 8: But I can accept that you've never heard it. But
- 8:56Speaker 8: can you accept that I have heard it? Do you
- 8:59Speaker 8: think I'm making this up?
- 9:00Speaker 2: No, I'm just surprised that I've never.
- 9:02Speaker 6: That's how it was always said.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Some people say this and some people say that. I'm
- 9:06Speaker 2: aware that some people say one or the other. I've
- 9:10Speaker 2: never once heard... How did I get 50 years and
- 9:13Speaker 2: not once? I've heard that term a number, especially in
- 9:16Speaker 2: business or when you talk about when you have to
- 9:21Speaker 2: deal with the public on certain things, they're always like, well,
- 9:23Speaker 2: you know, it's a squeaky wheel that gets to grease.
- 9:25Speaker 8: I've only heard squeaky wheel gets the grease is like
- 9:28Speaker 8: a sub like well you know squeaky wheel gets the grease.
- 9:30Speaker 6: Like it's only like in the south people would say
- 9:33Speaker 6: grease no because that's the term I never heard.
- 9:36Speaker 8: As always the squeaky wheel gets the oil and that's
- 9:38Speaker 8: even in in the dictionary.com yeah but both are acceptable
- 9:42Speaker 8: if you look it up Miriam Webster says the squeaky
- 9:45Speaker 8: wheel gets the grease.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Slash oil you keep saying Miriam Webster as if that's
- 9:49Speaker 2: the that one thing I mean it's a real.
- 9:51Speaker 6: Dictionary yeah what who's Miriam it's the actual dictionary thing
- 9:57Speaker 6: What do they know?
- 9:58Speaker 9: Where else would we get our answers from?
- 10:00Speaker 6: To figure out if both are right or.
- 10:02Speaker 8: Not the dictionary what source would you like yeah aside
- 10:06Speaker 8: from the dictionary i thought it was get the wheel
- 10:09Speaker 8: the squeaky wheel gets the wheel wheel gets the wheel.
- 10:12Speaker 6: Okay i think we all can agree that that's right.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Origin So this is now according to Google, which Google
- 10:18Speaker 2: takes everything, right? Okay. Including Miriam.
- 10:22Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Including that. It says the complete saying is the squeaky
- 10:25Speaker 2: wheel gets the grease. And it says, you know, what
- 10:29Speaker 2: it means. And we all know what it means. Literal sense.
- 10:31Speaker 4: Okay.
- 10:32Speaker 2: An old wagon or machine, a wheel that squeaks needs blah, blah, blah.
- 10:35Speaker 7: History.
- 10:36Speaker 2: The modern phrasing was popularized by the American humorist, Josh Billings.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Oh, sure.
- 10:41Speaker 2: In the 19th century.
- 10:42Speaker 5: Oh.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Oh.
- 10:46Speaker 2: And through similar ideas dating back centuries earlier.
- 10:49Speaker 6: Even people are texting in. I've heard oil. I always
- 10:53Speaker 6: heard oil, says one texter.
- 10:54Speaker 2: But that doesn't mean it's right. That's not the phrase.
- 10:57Speaker 8: Did we all go crazy at the same time or
- 10:59Speaker 8: did we hear it as that phrase? There's different things
- 11:02Speaker 8: we can Google to try and get whatever answer we want.
- 11:04Speaker 6: Google yourself right.
- 11:06Speaker 2: If you Google, is it squeaky wheel gets the grease
- 11:08Speaker 2: or oil?
- 11:09Speaker 6: It says both are correct. Thank you. But you can't
- 11:14Speaker 6: just say no.
- 11:15Speaker 2: She's telling you.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Nah.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Just did. Nah, dog.
- 11:18Speaker 7: Nah.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Grease is the original and most official version of the phrase. Cool.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Which is original slash official.
- 11:26Speaker 8: It's just not what I've ever heard. But then I
- 11:29Speaker 8: remembered people say grease, so then I threw in grease
- 11:31Speaker 8: as well.
- 11:32Speaker 6: It's just not the way I ever heard it.
- 11:33Speaker 5: Okay.
- 11:34Speaker 6: The squeaky wheel gets the oil.
- 11:37Speaker 10: Oh, the Google.
- 11:38Speaker 6: Okay, yeah.
- 11:39Speaker 10: So what is correct?
- 11:41Speaker 4: The idiom.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Look, I just put it into the internet.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Right, right. I understand.
- 11:46Speaker 10: But you were correct about the origin.
- 11:47Speaker 7: The idiom is grease.
- 11:48Speaker 10: That was the origin.
- 11:49Speaker 6: I mean, we can't Google it.
- 11:50Speaker 10: Now, when you say which is used more commonly, 80
- 11:54Speaker 10: to 90% is grease. 10 to 20% is oil. And
- 11:59Speaker 10: that is only because people... What do they call it? Malpropism.
- 12:03Speaker 10: People said oil because they forgot the original saying. And
- 12:07Speaker 10: that kind of got out into, I guess maybe this
- 12:09Speaker 10: like regional thing.
- 12:10Speaker 6: It must have gotten to the Midwest.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Right.
- 12:11Speaker 10: Pop and soda or whatever.
- 12:13Speaker 6: Yeah, exactly.
- 12:14Speaker 10: But let it be known that Woody is correct. And
- 12:17Speaker 10: people who say oil are just repeating something that some
- 12:19Speaker 10: stupid person missaid years ago.
- 12:23Speaker 9: And that's fine.
- 12:25Speaker 5: Yes.
- 12:26Speaker 2: So you may have heard oil, but you heard the
- 12:27Speaker 2: incorrect thing. Think about it this way, right? Like think
- 12:29Speaker 2: about a car, right? Like oil goes in the engine.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Grease would go on an axle.
- 12:34Speaker 10: Another perfectly well-reasoned example.
- 12:36Speaker 2: See this? You're welcome.
- 12:37Speaker 8: I will take you to evidence A through Z, which
- 12:41Speaker 8: is the Tin Man in Wizard of Oz who goes,
- 12:43Speaker 8: oil pan.
- 12:44Speaker 2: That's a hinge. That's for hinges.
- 12:47Speaker 10: That's not a wheel.
- 12:48Speaker 2: You would put oil like on a door hinge or
- 12:50Speaker 2: on the hinge of his jaw, the hinge of his elbow, arm.
- 12:54Speaker 8: Like I said, I am happy to accept everything I'm hearing.
- 12:57Speaker 8: I'm just saying I have never- Doesn't.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Sound like it.
- 13:00Speaker 7: Thank you. Just throwing that out there.
- 13:03Speaker 6: I am literally happy to accept it.
- 13:04Speaker 10: That wasn't a very happy way to say that.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 13:07Speaker 4: I'm so happy right now.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:09Speaker 7: I'm happy to accept.
- 13:09Speaker 6: Let me know when you're done.
- 13:10Speaker 10: But all I'm saying is.
- 13:15Speaker 7: What are you saying?
- 13:16Speaker 2: I'm listening. Oh, are you?
- 13:17Speaker 1: Okay.
- 13:17Speaker 7: I'm sitting here.
- 13:18Speaker 6: I'm listening.
- 13:19Speaker 1: You are.
- 13:19Speaker 6: These two idiots aren't.
- 13:20Speaker 4: What?
- 13:21Speaker 6: All I'm saying is I did not grow up hearing it.
- 13:24Speaker 9: That's it.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Okay.
- 13:25Speaker 6: That's all I'm saying. I always heard squeaky wheel gets
- 13:28Speaker 6: the oil. Take it up with my parents. Take it
- 13:30Speaker 6: up with the teachers.
- 13:31Speaker 5: I'm sorry.
- 13:31Speaker 7: My headphones were down. What were you saying?
- 13:33Speaker 10: Anyway.
- 13:34Speaker 6: I know these two are, you can just make out
- 13:36Speaker 6: and get over it.
- 13:37Speaker 2: We're having a fun time.
- 13:37Speaker 6: I know, I can tell. We just never said it.
- 13:41Speaker 6: Never heard it that way, never said.
- 13:42Speaker 7: It that way.
- 13:42Speaker 10: So I said oil.
- 13:43Speaker 7: Cool story.
- 13:44Speaker 2: What is wrong with you?
- 13:46Speaker 4: What is going on?
- 13:48Speaker 2: Yes, Jeff G.
- 13:49Speaker 7: I would like to point out as the official scorekeeper
- 13:52Speaker 7: in that game that this question was inconsequential.
- 13:55Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 13:56Speaker 7: It wouldn't matter.
- 13:57Speaker 6: But I thought it would have been six to six
- 13:59Speaker 6: tie without it.
- 13:59Speaker 4: It would have.
- 14:00Speaker 6: Because it was seven to five.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:02Speaker 9: So one point would have gone back to Gina and
- 14:05Speaker 9: you would have subtract one from Greg.
- 14:06Speaker 6: It would have been six to six. Hmm.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Yeah, see, what do you mean?
- 14:09Speaker 6: I feel like I'm taking goofballs today.
- 14:12Speaker 4: I also think I flushed in first on the Soviet
- 14:15Speaker 4: leader question.
- 14:16Speaker 6: Correct.
- 14:16Speaker 4: But I don't know.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Yeah, but that was Sammy's failure.
- 14:18Speaker 4: There was some shakiness on who flushed first.
- 14:21Speaker 7: You know what?
- 14:21Speaker 2: I think for future rounds, a couple different things. We
- 14:23Speaker 2: should keep the door open. It was a first time. No,
- 14:25Speaker 2: first time out. But I think what we need is
- 14:28Speaker 2: we need one person on each stall. And the minute
- 14:34Speaker 2: they hear the sound, they can have one of those
- 14:36Speaker 2: little flags like... soccer officials you know they hold up
- 14:40Speaker 2: the card you know like and so that way you
- 14:42Speaker 2: know as soon as you hear boom well if.
- 14:44Speaker 10: You're a person in the stall they can just look
- 14:45Speaker 10: at their hand and see which yeah and then you
- 14:48Speaker 10: sound like something flag would flag would say you're not
- 14:50Speaker 10: listening because there's so much echoing that's hard yeah correct
- 14:52Speaker 10: correct but.
- 14:54Speaker 6: Greg i'm very happy for you congratulations thank you and
- 14:57Speaker 6: if you'll notice and if you'll notice my plunger i
- 14:59Speaker 6: did not bring this up and i am also again very.
- 15:02Speaker 8: Happy for you thank you jenna didn't bring what up
- 15:05Speaker 8: I didn't just bring up the controversy.
- 15:08Speaker 2: We were just talking about it.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Yeah, you did.
- 15:10Speaker 10: I brought it to the air. And you also objected
- 15:12Speaker 10: heavily on site.
- 15:13Speaker 2: I brought it to the air to see what the.
- 15:17Speaker 6: What the masses think.
- 15:18Speaker 2: The masses would say.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Yeah, because off the air, I feel like this was
- 15:21Speaker 1: the biggest fight we've ever had.
- 15:24Speaker 8: But the thing I don't understand is, again, I totally
- 15:27Speaker 8: understand what you're saying.
- 15:28Speaker 6: I get it.
- 15:29Speaker 8: I just don't understand what the pushback is from me
- 15:31Speaker 8: having heard a different thing.
- 15:32Speaker 2: See, in this case, Gina needs the grease.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Yes.
- 15:36Speaker 10: Last weekend.
- 15:39Speaker 6: I don't know why I bothered.
- 15:41Speaker 7: It's kind of how.
- 15:42Speaker 2: The doctor needs to see your penis, even though you
- 15:44Speaker 2: came in for.
- 15:45Speaker 4: A sprained wrist. If you have a broken toe, show
- 15:48Speaker 4: me your scrotum.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Well, it's time for today's Dumbass Contest. And today's Dumbass
- 15:57Speaker 2: Contest is the.
- 16:02Speaker 9: DUIQ.
- 16:03Speaker 5: DUIQ.
- 16:03Speaker 2: T-Bass, explain the game to everybody, please.
- 16:06Speaker 10: I find someone very inebriated and ask them some very
- 16:08Speaker 10: easy trivia questions. So that is the game there is
- 16:11Speaker 10: to say, is this person so out of it? But
- 16:15Speaker 10: they will not know the answer to this question that
- 16:17Speaker 10: literally every other living, breathing, sentient individual knows. If you
- 16:21Speaker 10: can guess whether they know two times.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Out of three, you win. All right, I'm going to
- 16:24Speaker 2: ask you to call in.
- 16:25Speaker 5: 877-44-WOODY.
- 16:26Speaker 2: And let's say hi to Kelly. Hi, Kelly.
- 16:31Speaker 9: Hey, Woody.
- 16:32Speaker 5: Good morning.
- 16:33Speaker 6: Happy Friday.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Hi.
- 16:35Speaker 2: All right, well, let's play the DUIQ. Now, before we
- 16:38Speaker 2: get to the questions that will count toward you winning
- 16:39Speaker 2: a prize or not, we're going to get to know
- 16:41Speaker 2: the drunk person a little bit better and a little
- 16:43Speaker 2: better gauge of just how with it or not with
- 16:45Speaker 2: it they are and who is this person, Seabass.
- 16:47Speaker 10: It's Daniela, and she is going to tell.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Us about what she's had. San? Oh, Dan Yella.
- 16:53Speaker 10: Dan Yella.
- 16:54Speaker 6: It's on like San Yella.
- 16:55Speaker 4: That's a weird name.
- 16:56Speaker 10: It's Sandy Yella, and she's going to tell us about
- 16:59Speaker 10: what she's been consuming. Not always alcohol here on the DUIQ.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Okay.
- 17:02Speaker 9: Have you indeed smoked anything tonight? Well, we had some edibles, but...
- 17:07Speaker 9: What do you have?
- 17:09Speaker 4: They look like lifesavers, but they're not.
- 17:11Speaker 9: How does that make you feel? A little tired, honestly. Now,
- 17:16Speaker 9: why would you eat an edible that made you sleepy?
- 17:18Speaker 2: I didn't know.
- 17:19Speaker 3: No, it's because I had two different ones.
- 17:22Speaker 9: One was like sativa, and then the other one was
- 17:25Speaker 9: a hybrid.
- 17:26Speaker 5: And then I ate one, and then I ate the
- 17:28Speaker 5: other together.
- 17:29Speaker 2: And here we are.
- 17:30Speaker 7: Damn. Stick with sativa if you're going outside.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Yeah, Menace, what's the rule?
- 17:38Speaker 7: Well, Indica is like in the couch.
- 17:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:40Speaker 7: Sativa is like, you know, the energy drink.
- 17:43Speaker 4: No, not really.
- 17:44Speaker 7: But yeah, if you want to be able to like function,
- 17:47Speaker 7: you stay with Sativa.
- 17:49Speaker 4: Okay.
- 17:49Speaker 10: I've heard that modern THC, like they refine it so
- 17:51Speaker 10: much now that we're kind of losing that. Rule of thumb, almost.
- 17:55Speaker 7: Well, if you take enough milligrams.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:58Speaker 2: If you have as much as Menace does. Menace is
- 18:02Speaker 2: pretty much in a coma.
- 18:03Speaker 4: What if you do both in one sitting? Do they
- 18:06Speaker 4: counteract each other?
- 18:06Speaker 6: One's a body high, one's a brain high, so you'll
- 18:08Speaker 6: have both. They make hybrids. Yeah, you'll have a body
- 18:10Speaker 6: high and a brain high.
- 18:11Speaker 2: How many milligrams can you have?
- 18:13Speaker 7: Well, I think they stopped selling them, but I had like...
- 18:17Speaker 7: I had some brownies that were like 600 milligrams.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Damn.
- 18:20Speaker 4: I've tried.
- 18:20Speaker 2: I know the mints are what, like 10?
- 18:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:23Speaker 8: Oh.
- 18:23Speaker 2: If you get those little THC mints, you know what
- 18:26Speaker 2: I'm talking about?
- 18:27Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Altoids.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Those are 10.
- 18:28Speaker 4: But I don't know what would be considered, quote, normal.
- 18:32Speaker 10: Well, here, I'll tell you, Greg, I've tried some of
- 18:34Speaker 10: this stuff for sleep aids.
- 18:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:35Speaker 10: Anything that has actual THC in it, at 300? I'm done.
- 18:41Speaker 10: That's it.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Really?
- 18:42Speaker 4: Three milligrams?
- 18:42Speaker 3: Three.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:43Speaker 7: Oh, my God.
- 18:44Speaker 2: What's your take on three minutes?
- 18:46Speaker 4: Madness has done 600.
- 18:47Speaker 7: I couldn't even feel that.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:49Speaker 7: I mean, I definitely was in outer space. Wow. There's
- 18:53Speaker 7: some drinks out there that are like 100 plus.
- 18:55Speaker 10: And I don't know.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Are you still on those seltzers? Yeah.
- 18:59Speaker 7: There's a hundred plus seltzer out there that I've had.
- 19:01Speaker 7: I almost drowned. So that's what I recommend.
- 19:04Speaker 2: And I started puking everywhere.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Wow.
- 19:07Speaker 10: I've had a 10. So I bought a 10 seltzer
- 19:10Speaker 10: again for sleep stuff. And if I and I no
- 19:13Speaker 10: more than a quarter of that.
- 19:14Speaker 7: Really?
- 19:15Speaker 10: Because I'm a little lady.
- 19:16Speaker 7: I can drink that all morning long.
- 19:18Speaker 4: Anyway, we're sitting here.
- 19:19Speaker 7: Anyway, Daniela.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Yeah, Daniela. That's the person you're trying to guess. Will
- 19:23Speaker 2: she know the answer to these questions, Kelly? You just
- 19:26Speaker 2: got to get two out of three right in order
- 19:27Speaker 2: to win. Now, just for fun, you don't have to,
- 19:29Speaker 2: but if you want to, we're just playing along with
- 19:31Speaker 2: Menace and Sammy to see if they know the answers
- 19:33Speaker 2: to these questions. It is the DUIQ. Are you ready
- 19:36Speaker 2: for question number one? I am ready.
- 19:40Speaker 7: All right, here we go.
- 19:41Speaker 5: What Bible figure is said to have been swallowed whole
- 19:43Speaker 5: by a whale?
- 19:45Speaker 4: All right. Can I start with a triple no?
- 19:49Speaker 2: Triple no.
- 19:50Speaker 1: No.
- 19:50Speaker 10: Because Greg, this is a literal, I've seen children's books
- 19:52Speaker 10: about this.
- 19:55Speaker 4: I'm not confident that they'll know this.
- 19:57Speaker 6: But didn't Sammy grow up, not religious, but like knowing.
- 20:01Speaker 3: This kind of stuff?
- 20:01Speaker 2: Isn't everybody in Boston a Catholic?
- 20:02Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe.
- 20:04Speaker 6: I'll say yes.
- 20:04Speaker 10: Unless she's from Boston. Yeah, she's not from Boston at all.
- 20:06Speaker 2: She's from Massachusetts.
- 20:07Speaker 6: I'll say yes to Sammy, no to- To Kelly and Menace.
- 20:11Speaker 2: I'm saying Menace will get this one, Sammy will not
- 20:15Speaker 2: get this one, and Daniela will not get this one.
- 20:18Speaker 6: They're all different.
- 20:19Speaker 2: That is my guess. Kelly, what do you think? Yes
- 20:21Speaker 2: or no on Daniela? I'm going with no on Daniela.
- 20:26Speaker 3: No.
- 20:26Speaker 2: All right, question number one, DUIQ.
- 20:28Speaker 5: What Bible figure is said to have been swallowed whole
- 20:30Speaker 5: by a whale?
- 20:31Speaker 7: Samantha.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Noah?
- 20:34Speaker 5: Noah.
- 20:34Speaker 10: Dammit.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Menace. Moby? Moby.
- 20:39Speaker 7: I have not voted yet.
- 20:43Speaker 2: The only reason, I mean, not the only reason, but
- 20:45Speaker 2: one of the reasons, like, you gotta accentuate the positive
- 20:48Speaker 2: and eliminate the negative and latch on to the affirmative.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Don't mess with the mystery in between. To illustrate my
- 20:53Speaker 2: last remark, Jonah and the whale.
- 20:55Speaker 4: Noah in the ark.
- 20:56Speaker 2: What would you do? Jonah. Jonah and the whale. Jonah.
- 21:00Speaker 10: Like I said, children's stuff.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Ding.
- 21:02Speaker 6: I was just watching Sleepless in Seattle last night.
- 21:05Speaker 9: And I have no.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Idea where the hell that song came from and what
- 21:08Speaker 2: it was from. Was that a school thing? Did I
- 21:10Speaker 2: hear that like on, was that a Sesame Street thing?
- 21:12Speaker 2: I have no idea, but being a little kid and
- 21:15Speaker 2: knowing that song. There was also a- Jonah and the Whale.
- 21:17Speaker 2: A song on the radio in the alternative format in the,
- 21:20Speaker 2: I want to say early 90s.
- 21:21Speaker 4: My name is Jonas. Well, there's Jonas. Not Jonah, but Jonas. No,
- 21:24Speaker 4: but there was a song. Jonah in the belly of
- 21:27Speaker 4: the whale. Okay.
- 21:31Speaker 2: He was on water.
- 21:32Speaker 7: Shout out to Jonah Hill.
- 21:34Speaker 2: All the Jonas.
- 21:35Speaker 10: That loser whose ass I could kick if I met
- 21:37Speaker 10: him on the street. He's putting that out there.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Are you?
- 21:40Speaker 2: Yeah, well, he put it out there.
- 21:41Speaker 10: Oh, that's right, because he said, yeah.
- 21:43Speaker 6: He's like, yeah, come at me, bro. All right, I will.
- 21:46Speaker 2: All right, so Kelly, you said that Danielle would not
- 21:49Speaker 2: know the answer to this, right? Just clarifying.
- 21:51Speaker 1: I do not think Danielle knows, no.
- 21:53Speaker 2: All right, question number one, DUIQ.
- 21:55Speaker 5: What Bible figure is said to have been swallowed whole
- 21:57Speaker 5: by a whale?
- 21:59Speaker 3: Noah? Noah. The Ark and stuff.
- 22:03Speaker 2: The Ark and stuff. How do you get out of
- 22:04Speaker 2: that predicament?
- 22:05Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 22:06Speaker 9: I haven't gotten that far in.
- 22:08Speaker 2: The Ark and stuff. Close.
- 22:10Speaker 10: Closer.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Yeah. You know, there's a book you just can't put down.
- 22:14Speaker 2: It's the book that she keeps putting down. She says
- 22:17Speaker 2: she hasn't gotten that far. She'll get there. She'll figure
- 22:20Speaker 2: it out.
- 22:20Speaker 7: Are you quoting something?
- 22:22Speaker 3: What?
- 22:22Speaker 4: Saying that.
- 22:23Speaker 2: No. You know, there's a saying, man, that book was
- 22:26Speaker 2: so good, I couldn't put it down. Right. People say that.
- 22:29Speaker 4: Oh, they do?
- 22:29Speaker 2: Oh, the book is so good, I couldn't put it down.
- 22:31Speaker 4: Right, right.
- 22:32Speaker 2: She's saying she hasn't gotten that far yet, so clearly
- 22:34Speaker 2: the book's not that great.
- 22:35Speaker 6: She put it down.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:37Speaker 2: All right, question number two.
- 22:38Speaker 4: Menace's head is going to explode.
- 22:39Speaker 6: He's not getting it.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Did you have one of your 600 milligrams?
- 22:42Speaker 7: No, I was like, are you quoting something or are
- 22:43Speaker 7: you just saying it?
- 22:46Speaker 2: All right. Concentrate on the questions.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Okay.
- 22:48Speaker 2: All right, you ready?
- 22:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:49Speaker 10: All right, dog.
- 22:50Speaker 2: What's happening? That's a great question. That's what we're wondering.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Is this real life?
- 22:54Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 22:54Speaker 2: All right, question number two, DUIQ.
- 22:56Speaker 5: What actor currently plays the live-action Spider-Man?
- 23:00Speaker 10: Very famous. We talk about him all the time.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Menace and Sammy, yes. Daniella. I want to say triple yes.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Me too.
- 23:13Speaker 3: You know what?
- 23:14Speaker 4: I want to and I'm going to.
- 23:16Speaker 6: Wow.
- 23:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:17Speaker 2: I'm going to say no for Daniella. She's really shown
- 23:20Speaker 2: us nothing yet.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:21Speaker 6: I'm saying yes in the room. No for Daniella.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Triple yes. Triple yes for Greg. All right. What do
- 23:29Speaker 2: you think, Kelly? Yes or no? I'm going no for Daniella.
- 23:33Speaker 7: Nope.
- 23:34Speaker 2: All right, question number two, DUIQ.
- 23:36Speaker 5: What actor currently plays the live-action Spider-Man?
- 23:40Speaker 3: Sammy.
- 23:41Speaker 6: Tom Holland.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Menace.
- 23:43Speaker 7: Sammy is correct.
- 23:44Speaker 10: Tom Holland.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Tom Holland is the answer, eh?
- 23:46Speaker 10: You could have possibly said Nicolas Cage as well.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Wait, Spider-Man? Spider-Man Noir.
- 23:52Speaker 4: Oh.
- 23:53Speaker 10: A TV show that no one watched and canceled.
- 23:55Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, okay.
- 23:56Speaker 2: All right, well, Kelly said that Daniela would not get this.
- 23:59Speaker 2: And if that is the way it turns out, she's
- 24:01Speaker 2: going to be the winner of this round of the DUIQ.
- 24:04Speaker 5: What actor currently plays the live-action Spider-Man? T.
- 24:12Speaker 2: T.O.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Something. T.O.
- 24:14Speaker 7: And an H?
- 24:15Speaker 2: Is he hot?
- 24:16Speaker 3: He's cute.
- 24:17Speaker 7: He has a little butt.
- 24:18Speaker 2: T.O. Tim? No.
- 24:20Speaker 4: T.O. Abe. She was so close.
- 24:24Speaker 2: She was so close. Hollandaise, damn it. All right, well, Kelly, congratulations.
- 24:28Speaker 2: You are the winner here on the DUI.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Yeah, thank you.
- 24:32Speaker 2: You're welcome. Hey, thank you so much for listening to
- 24:35Speaker 2: The Woody Show. Have yourself a great weekend, and hang
- 24:37Speaker 2: on so we can get your info, okay?
- 24:39Speaker 9: Have a great weekend, too.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Thank you, guys.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Bye. And does Tom Holland indeed have a cute little butt, guys?
- 24:46Speaker 7: Totes.
- 24:48Speaker 2: He's the one with Zendaya, right?
- 24:50Speaker 7: Who we've met and interviewed and she was quite lovely.
- 24:54Speaker 2: A hundred years ago. The reason we got to interview
- 24:57Speaker 2: her is because nobody knew who she was.
- 24:58Speaker 7: We were on the ground floor.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Yes.
- 25:00Speaker 4: She owes us money.
- 25:02Speaker 10: Thank you.
- 25:03Speaker 7: We're responsible.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:04Speaker 10: Her career.
- 25:05Speaker 2: All right. Question number three.
- 25:08Speaker 4: D-U-I-Q.
- 25:09Speaker 9: What is the title of any Nickelback song?
- 25:11Speaker 10: All right.
- 25:14Speaker 4: Sammy.
- 25:15Speaker 7: Yes.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Menace.
- 25:17Speaker 4: No. Sammy.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Yes, Menace definitely knows. He openly says he's not a
- 25:25Speaker 1: lyrics guy, doesn't know names of stuff.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Yeah, there's songs that we play all the time.
- 25:30Speaker 6: 14,000 times a day.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:32Speaker 4: And he says, I couldn't name it.
- 25:33Speaker 7: I don't memorize any of them.
- 25:35Speaker 10: Yeah, not here sitting down reading stuff at night.
- 25:37Speaker 4: No to Daniela.
- 25:38Speaker 2: You dorks.
- 25:38Speaker 4: So only yes to Sammy.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Correct.
- 25:40Speaker 6: Same. Just Sammy.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Just Sammy.
- 25:43Speaker 4: All right.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Question number three. D-U-I-Q. Menace, you're going to go first.
- 25:48Speaker 9: What is the title of any Nickelback song?
- 25:52Speaker 4: Blurry.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Blurry. Same genre.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Sammy.
- 25:57Speaker 6: Rockstar.
- 25:58Speaker 4: Rockstar.
- 25:58Speaker 7: Or photograph.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Or photograph.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Nice.
- 26:00Speaker 4: How you remind me.
- 26:01Speaker 7: Initially, I put down Puddle of Mud.
- 26:03Speaker 4: Yeah, that's blurry.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Yeah, that is blurry.
- 26:06Speaker 8: The name of the Nickelback song is Puddle of Mud.
- 26:10Speaker 7: Getting.
- 26:10Speaker 4: All right.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Question number three for Dan Yella here on the DUIQ.
- 26:15Speaker 9: What is the title of any Nickelback song?
- 26:19Speaker 5: This is how you remind me.
- 26:23Speaker 2: This is how you remind me?
- 26:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Wow, Daniel.
- 26:26Speaker 10: I mean, yeah, Jeopardy would have thrown that out, but
- 26:28Speaker 10: I'll take it.
- 26:29Speaker 4: They would have?
- 26:30Speaker 2: This is how.
- 26:31Speaker 10: This is is wrong.
- 26:32Speaker 7: Yeah, it's very popular in meme culture, so I guarantee
- 26:35Speaker 7: you that's why she knows it.
- 26:36Speaker 10: Yes, and photograph too.
- 26:37Speaker 2: I like your pants around your feet.
- 26:40Speaker 10: What a dorky song. I like a lot of their songs.
- 26:43Speaker 2: I know you do. They get unjustified hate.
