- 0:00Speaker 1: Thinks that must.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Go on the radio, reminds me I need a full
- 0:10Speaker 2: set of tires, got to get new tires. These are
- 0:14Speaker 2: things that must go, Things that are bugging you friends
- 0:17Speaker 2: of the program, things that you can't stand anymore. And
- 0:19Speaker 2: so and so you say, I know, I'll send my
- 0:24Speaker 2: thing that must go to Radio from Hel. Maybe if
- 0:27Speaker 2: they read it on the air, it'll make me feel better.
- 0:28Speaker 2: And sometimes these things actually disappear from your life if
- 0:32Speaker 2: you do it. So just put your thoughts down in
- 0:35Speaker 2: an email, put muscle on the subject line, and send
- 0:37Speaker 2: it to Radio from Hell at X ninety six dot com.
- 0:41Speaker 2: I'll go first. I got this one from my lovely wife,
- 0:45Speaker 2: missus Bill, this morning in a text. It says, my
- 0:49Speaker 2: thing that must go. When you have to buy a
- 0:52Speaker 2: requiner because you're having shoulder surgery and you need to
- 0:57Speaker 2: sleep upright. So you go to the d I to
- 0:59Speaker 2: find one, and surprisingly there's a really nice one, a
- 1:03Speaker 2: decent one there that's just the right size. So you
- 1:06Speaker 2: buy it and they put a soul tag on it.
- 1:09Speaker 2: And when you come back with a bigger vehicle to
- 1:12Speaker 2: take it home, somebody has ripped the tag off and
- 1:15Speaker 2: taken it home themselves. This is worse than this is
- 1:20Speaker 2: worse the worst thrifting sin imaginable, and even more evil
- 1:24Speaker 2: for having been committed against somebody who is desperately needing
- 1:27Speaker 2: it because of surgery. This is why you, Bill allread,
- 1:31Speaker 2: will not have your own requiner for a week. Yes,
- 1:37Speaker 2: I think it's I think it's for my sister in law.
- 1:39Speaker 2: I think I don't think my wife is having I
- 1:42Speaker 2: don't think she told me. She said somebody's having. Somebody's
- 1:45Speaker 2: having shoulder surgery, and so the recliner, No, it'll be
- 1:50Speaker 2: gone from the house, is what the matter is. Let's
- 1:53Speaker 2: see this one says, thanks for letting me listen. This
- 1:56Speaker 2: Musco list is about corporate jobs getting told for six
- 2:00Speaker 2: years straight that they just don't have a budget to
- 2:03Speaker 2: promote within the business until while having having off the
- 2:08Speaker 2: majority of employees, laying off the majority of the employees,
- 2:11Speaker 2: and reporting record profits for the fifth year in a row.
- 2:14Speaker 2: So we don't have enough budget to give people raises.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Oh now we're going to lay off people. Oh and
- 2:19Speaker 2: we're having record profits. Management asking why employees are leaving
- 2:23Speaker 2: for other companies with no irony and getting a company
- 2:26Speaker 2: survey that changes every year to change the wording to
- 2:29Speaker 2: increasingly be more aggressive. Example, would you agree that this
- 2:34Speaker 2: is a great place to work? Would you recommend this
- 2:38Speaker 2: company to a friend? Do you think you will still
- 2:41Speaker 2: be working here in twelve months? Subtext seems to suggest
- 2:46Speaker 2: that the first questions are not answered correctly, you will
- 2:49Speaker 2: not be working here in twelve months. Let's see this
- 2:53Speaker 2: one says, My thing that must go is simple. Say
- 2:57Speaker 2: no to migrains, our crazy weather changes triggering my migraines.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Thank you, thank you, stake care. It's Kayla and I
- 3:08Speaker 2: think that's yeah, that's it.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Erry, Okay. Let's see this one has no name on it.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Good morning, lords. Things that must go? My dog acting
- 3:19Speaker 3: like she's walking to the gallows. When I bring her
- 3:21Speaker 3: to the garden hose after a walk, she droops her
- 3:25Speaker 3: head and walks sadly behind me with her tail between
- 3:28Speaker 3: her legs. I'm just gonna wash your paws. I think
- 3:30Speaker 3: you're gonna be okay. When someone is caught behaving badly,
- 3:35Speaker 3: such as a congressman being exposed as a sex predator,
- 3:38Speaker 3: or a youth soccer coach dropping f bombs and threatening
- 3:41Speaker 3: the ref in front of a bunch of eleven year olds,
- 3:44Speaker 3: then apologizing with words like that's not who I really am,
- 3:48Speaker 3: Yes it is, Yeah it is. You just showed us
- 3:51Speaker 3: exactly who you are. Let's see this one from Tony
- 3:57Speaker 3: the twenty plus people in line for soda at the
- 3:59Speaker 3: Mega A plaques. This caused a long wait. It made
- 4:03Speaker 3: me lose very important plot points to the Super Mario
- 4:06Speaker 3: Galaxy movie. All that stubborn booger's stuck in your nose
- 4:11Speaker 3: and then when you finally blow them out, they land
- 4:13Speaker 3: on your shirt instead of the tissue. The Dutch King's
- 4:18Speaker 3: Birthday Festival and the Japanese Festival being on the same
- 4:21Speaker 3: day too many celebrations. They need to be spread out
- 4:23Speaker 3: throughout the month. I guess Tony likes to go to
- 4:26Speaker 3: the Dutch King. I don't know what that is. This
- 4:30Speaker 3: one from Tasha. I decided to take a gander for
- 4:34Speaker 3: the first time at the Radio from Hell chat room.
- 4:36Speaker 3: What must go is when I hear Carrie always say
- 4:39Speaker 3: some guy in the chat all these years, I've thought
- 4:42Speaker 3: it I heard it as some guy, thinking it's just
- 4:45Speaker 3: a blanket term for people. No, it's a guy in.
- 4:48Speaker 1: There, a specific person that's his name.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Some guy also going to unload the dishwasher, not realizing
- 4:55Speaker 3: that during the washing process it had flipped my blender
- 4:58Speaker 3: blade pulling the rack, only to have it slice my
- 5:01Speaker 3: finger open. And finally this one good morning, Lords, Then
- 5:05Speaker 3: I think that must go is IGN's review of mouse
- 5:09Speaker 3: Pi for Hire. Since it seems like they didn't even
- 5:13Speaker 3: play the game before they reviewed it, most of the
- 5:16Speaker 3: criticisms they made for it were more like minor nitpicks
- 5:19Speaker 3: at best. Please make IGN's review of mouse Pi for
- 5:24Speaker 3: Hire go. Thanks for letting me listen, the developer of
- 5:27Speaker 3: the mouse for Pi for Higher game.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Oh not really, Please help me, lords. All of my
- 5:36Speaker 1: grandparents have died in the last ten or so years,
- 5:39Speaker 1: and yet they were all young enough when alive to
- 5:41Speaker 1: hop on social media, have a tablet or cell phone.
- 5:43Speaker 1: The issue I have is they tend to haunt me
- 5:45Speaker 1: in ways that I ever thought possible.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Yep.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Example, when I lived with my grandmother, she loved to
- 5:50Speaker 1: harmlessly track me on her iPad because she was worried
- 5:53Speaker 1: I was going to be murdered on my tender dates.
- 5:55Speaker 1: She sadly passed away. But every time I use my
- 5:57Speaker 1: fine my iPhone, I have a notice saying Susan and
- 6:00Speaker 1: can track you on her iPad. Or if I have
- 6:03Speaker 1: to use Facebook, my contacts and the messengers suggests and
- 6:06Speaker 1: says me Moss Suzanne as a suggested friend, or Nana Lucy,
- 6:10Speaker 1: but they've been dead for years. And the most awkward example,
- 6:14Speaker 1: I have an app that shows contacts you may know.
- 6:16Speaker 1: It shows Nana and her contact information only. The profile
- 6:19Speaker 1: picture shows a gentleman who seems to be in his
- 6:21Speaker 1: late forties smiling with a significant other showing Disneyland in
- 6:25Speaker 1: the background. Because Nana's old phone number has been transferred
- 6:28Speaker 1: to a man named Lawrence from Florida? Do I delete
- 6:31Speaker 1: my ancestors from my social media technology? Is that disrespectful
- 6:35Speaker 1: of my confusion? Must go? And this from Patrick? Can
- 6:41Speaker 1: we please get rid of, or at the very least
- 6:43Speaker 1: use less of the overused exclamation phrase let's go. Let
- 6:49Speaker 1: coaches and athletes use it if they must. I don't
- 6:51Speaker 1: need my restaurant server coming to the table with the
- 6:53Speaker 1: need to motivate me to order. You're ready to order,
- 6:56Speaker 1: all right, let's do this, let's go. So many others
- 6:59Speaker 1: use it to day in similar circumstances. It's really annoying.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Thanks Patrick, all right, thank you. Thanks.
- 7:08Speaker 2: That must go on the radio on Hell show
