The spotted lanternfly, a destructive invasive insect from Asia, is spreading across the U.S. and threatening fruit trees, grapevines, and timber. First spotted in Pennsylvania in 2014, it’s now established in five states bordering Kentucky and has been reported in northern Kentucky counties.
